as someone who spends a lot of time on YouTube, I have absolutely noticed that the suppression of speech regarding political topics has absolutely gotten worse to such a severity it's scaring me and I mean it because on the opposite spectrum I'm seeing extremely far right radical shit get bot-voted and boosted to huge numbers and its getting to the point where conservatives and their bots are smothering every fucking conversation about ANYTHING

I have never once had one of my comments remain after I mention Project Condor

Comments about Palestine and the Nakba vanish within minutes

I was watching a video where Native Americans have been being seized by ICE raids even after presenting their paperwork. All of those comments disappeared

I had a comment disappear just for replying to someone "wake up, jackboot"

It's not every single thing i ever say, but when I watch videos on certain topics I'll stay in the comments section and be chatting with people for a little while, especially if it's a really long video, and I've spent all morning watching almost every single thing I say instantly disappear

I'm actually genuinely scared. Even just comments where I bring up 2024 had only 60% voter turnout and that Republican voters are only about 1/3 of America, that disappears too. I wonder if my account is ever going to be disabled because I keep blatantly sharing details of videos I've seen here on tumblr of Palestinian babies being found shot execution style

It just really feels like we need to start saving evidence of literally every fucking thing before the far right truly manage to completely rewrite history
