the thing about labru vs kabumisu is that both of them have the same core appeal to me, specifically from kabru's side of things: kabru being someone who is constantly agonizing about social rules and putting on the right mask, and meeting this Weird Fucking Guy who does not (cannot) care about all those things, and so kabru slowly allows himself to be more genuine. they're both such good relationships (whether you view them romantically or platonically), why must there be so much hostility between enjoyers of these ships?

Let the record show that I despise Lila Rossi and look forward to her downfall. Let the record also show that I am above all else a shipper who adores redemption stories. With that being said:

Lilanette where Lila shows up earlier and tries to latch onto Marinette instead of Adrien and starts lying. Mars Bars obviously is not buying it, especially when she talks about LB, and tells her that if she wants to be friends she can't keep doing that. Rossi is peeved but figures she can play the long game and pretend to stop and be better. Only problem, too much time genuinely hanging out with Marinette is hazardous to the health of her being an asshole and she accidentally genuinely improves.

This is ignoring all the Cerese stuff because that was honestly so freaking weird and came out of the asscrack of nowhere

Really got to liking him and Blitz as a ship together, but why are all the Blitzstrike shippers on Tumblr so full of hate for Stolas?

Awww well thank you!! But if you couldn't tell by my account I'm actually bigger of a joyness fan then anything! (Hence the fan child and tons of drawings) I guess I just haven't been drawing them much as I used to. But thank you for asking and well it's definitely one of the ships I don't talk about very much but I do like it tho!! I actually used to be a massive fan of the ship in my slightly earlier days of the fandom (reading fanfictions of them and whatnot) but I'd say it's pretty underrated for what it could be and what it currently is with the dynamic between the two so far and how fear sometimes hides behind sadness which I think is pretty adorable and stuff! :3

Just curious, but what is your favorite Ojiro ship?

Personally, mine is OjiToru (Ojiro x Hagakure).

Hmm. Good question. I don't think I have a particular favourite. I'm a multishipper, so I enjoy seeing him with different characters for different reasons.

(These are in no particular order):

Ojiro x Hagakure

Arguably the closest thing to a canon relationship in MHA, it's clear they have a strong bond and are close enough to share their worries with each other. Wholesome and supportive, plus Ojiro nearly lost his mind when he thought Hagakure kissed him during that one mission, and she ran straight into his arms when she was upset after discovering the UA traitor; they're adorable.

Ojiro x Kaminari

I absolutely adore Kaminari's tail fluff obsession. Ojiro is so unbothered in every panel where Kaminari is playing with his tail, so he must do it all the time. Plus, there's that cute panel at the hot springs where Kaminari's splashing Ojiro in the water. Ojiro is the chill boyf' to Kaminari's silly.

Ojiro x Shinsou

I love a good enemies to lovers. Saying that, I also love that Ojiro doesn't have the capacity to hold a grudge and immediately welcomes Shinsou to the heroes course once he's finally moved across. It's a ship where I see Shinsou having lots of guilt/insecurity and needing reassurance that he's forgiven, with Ojiro being the endlessly reassuring boyfriend, happy to squash any of Shinsou's issues immediately.

Honestly, I would love to see Ojiro with anyone. He gets so much shtick, when in reality he would make an excellent down-to-earth partner.

Ojiro x Mahoro

I also once made an OC specifically to pair with Ojiro, called Mahoro Mimi.

Ojiro usually doesn't like being seen as ordinary, so Mahoro was made to be the opposite. She's a girl with a transformation quirk that turns her into a terrifying, demonic monster when she gets too emotional.

It's a pairing that focuses on each wanting what the other has; a way to stand out, and a way to blend in.

I really enjoy this pairing too, because it focuses on Ojiro learning to accept and love who he is, as well as helping someone else love themselves as they are.

GIVE THE TAILBEAN SOMEONE TO LOVE, HORIKOSHI, COME ON.

My piece for the luzeni zine, Love And War With Lupin the Third!

The zine loosely used the concept of the different jackets to mark stages of the pair's relationship, with red jacket being when they start falling for one another/realizing they already have and pink for when they're finding their rhythm as a couple and Zenigata is more actively "secretly" colluding with the group on occasion. I decided to use red jacket and strong pink lighting to hit that transitional moment where both know they've gone from odd allies to something more.

Every once in a while I think about the ship I've been obsessed over for close to two years now and feel like I'm ascending to another plane of reality. Her most striking feature, however, was the mass of golden hair that seemed to be trying to escape the single hair tie that held it in a ponytail.

Jaune focused on her face and tried to find his voice again.

“No,” he said.

Ms. Gorgeous smiled, and sat down on the stool beside him before waving over the bartender.

Eddie Diaz was not being jealous when he was giving sassy looks at Chimney's bachelor party, he was just mad that Buck told him no about the sliders. His sass made an appearance when it was just him and Buck ("You didn't just do that"), not because of Tommy.

How proud he looks in that hospital room when Tommy and Buck come back with Buck having soot all over his face PROVES he's not jealous of Tommy.

Tommy Kinard is the first partner Buck has ever had that Eddie likes. If you don't believe that, how 'bout we go back and watch his interactions with Taylor Kelly again and then come back and compare, hmm?
