I know we joke Lawrence Stroll is basically a bond villain, but my god, I have to take off my hat to him. Man joined this sport purely to support his son's career and dreams, and has seemingly just managed (not officially confirmed as yet) to nab the key to achieving those dreams in certified freaking car genius Adrian Newey, the man behind car designs that won 6 constructors' championships, 7 drivers championships, and earned 120 podiums to date for red bull alone. He's won 12 constructors' championships in total with 3 different Formula One teams (red bull, williams & mclaren). And now, he's apparently chasing Max too. I have to admire this man's sheer commitment, I now need him to win (sign newey & Max when the time comes) so badly now to see him rub the entire paddocks nose in it lmao.

Hm, I haven't properly watched Gravity Falls in a while (I KNOW IM SORRY), but comparing their personalities from what i know they have a couple similarities and differences.

For first interactions I'm not entirely sure how or where, neither of them are naturally social but if someone were to start a conversation it would be Prefect, and once they realize they're both named Ford P. they'd hit off perfectly.

I think they'd love to go out for a small drink and talk about their outlooks on life, about space, their own traumas and relationships, about their research and studies with their respective books (Pines to the Journals, and Prefect to the Guide), and about their plans for future. This interaction could also be a lot funnier depending on the tone you wanted to take.

Ooooh they could also rant about their annoying family members (Zaphod and Stan)

They would also engage in an epic game of Dungeons & More Dungeons no doubt

its funny, in a kinda sad way, that the mcu has been starting to introduce the main characters of the young avengers one by one Now (like i was Obsessed with the young avengers comics when i was in high school, talked fancasts with my friends and shit), bc i haven't cared that strongly for the mcu for almost 10 years now (around phase 3 is where they started to lose me) :/ like i couldn't be paid to watch these new things bc i simply can't get invested enough to watch these latest movies and tv shows. but if this had been a decade prior, my blog would've morphed into a primarily mcu-verse young avengers fanblog the moment i caught a glimpse of kate bishop, wiccan, hell. even cassie lang lol

This is a genuine opinion piece but I think that:

Koujaku and Aoba were made for each other, they deserve each other and probably have the best, most healthiest relationship in the entire game

Koujaku almost worships Aoba and Aoba looks out for Koujaku in the ways he can. Their relationship starts out strong, and the game ends it in a place even stronger than before.

Also, while Clear's route might be my favourite one narratively... I think:

He can probably do better than Aoba

Aoba gets pretty short tempered with him at times (though it's pretty understandable since he starts out as a stranger... he does get more patient near the end of the route)

But a lot of Clear's time in his route is spent taking care of Aoba and Aoba not really knowing how to act about that. They don't have the small bonding moments that Koujaku and Noiz's route have- most of their relationship is moved forward by big emotional moments

Which is fine, but for my aroace ass it makes me feel like the relationship doesn't have as much as a foundation for me to "justify" it with

Clear's life revolves around Aoba because of his programming + eventually because of his feelings, but Aoba just isn't the same way

Even if they do fall in love and Aoba ends up getting pretty depressed when he's gone

Somehow it still feels "one sided" to me y'know? Can't really describe it much beyond that

Like, if you want to argue that he has internalized misogyny because of his beauty standards thing, sure- I'll hear you out- but incel is a very specific brand of misogyny and it is pure headcanon if you want to call him that

And I kept seeing people bring up the getting black listed by matchmakers thing as proof he's an incel and like??? You know there's more possibilities for why he'd be undatable than just "being an incel," right? Like, maybe he's just loud and angry. Maybe he just jumps to conclusions during arguments. Maybe he just doesn't know how to drop grievances. Maybe he's just an equal opportunity asshole. Or maybe he's just an emotional constipated stick-in-the-mud. The possibilities are endless and acting like "he's an incel" is the canon answer is just clown behavior
