Love that you opened requests for TADC!
Could you please do a scenario where Jax pulls a prank on the reader and locks them in a closet, but he has no idea that they have claustrophobia? They end up being found by someone else later, and Jax ends up feeling really bad about it?
(honestly love me some hurt/comfort)
Thank You!
Aftermath of a Prank (Jax x reader w/ claustrophobia)
wasn't sure what to name this since "jax traps you in a closet and feels bad" doesn't roll off the tongue that well LMAO i hope you enjoy this! imma admit, usually when it comes to writing for new characters i read up on others interpretations of them to get a decent handle of them + the canon stuff but i think im gonna wing it this time
It's not often that Jax genuinely apologizes to someone for something he did. often time he will give a huff and a half hearted sorry, or try to play the entire thing off... but there was something different about the current situation at hand
You see, Jax thought it would be funny to get you stuck in a closet, for one reason or another to push some joke he had in mind. What he did not have in mind, however, was the possibility that you were afraid of tight spaces.
Afraid you were, even more so because the closet was dark as well.
Jax was already long gone, claiming that he was going to run off to do something before departing. You asked him to let you out, thinking that he had simply pretended to leave.
But he truly had.
Discomfort turns into fear. Unsure calls for help turn into yells, which turn into you attempting to punch and kick the door open. Your eyes burned with hot tears.
You couldn't have been in there for more than ten minutes before Gangle opened the door, nearly catching your fist to her mask. It likely would have broken and revealed her tears, had her comedy mask not already been broken. She only squeaks in surprise, too stunned to move out of the way but thankfully you were able to reel yourself back in at the last second.
You muttered a quick apology before pulling yourself from the tight space, trying to steady the wobble in your steps. You and Gangle did not exchange any words, with you making your way to your room.
Word gets out. Gangle tells Kinger what happened. Kinger tells Pomni. Pomni tells Ragatha. Zooble finds out, but they don't care enough to gossip around. Before long Ragatha is telling Jax about it, with her own hunch that the rabbit was the one to blame.
Could you blame her? Jax has a bit of a track record...
Point is, Jax eventually finds out how scared you were through the grapevine and for once he actually feels bad about something. Annoying and spooking someone is one thing, but to instill genuine terror was another thing.
He wants to apologize, but it's such a foreign thing that he keeps putting it off. Days pass, with you now avoiding him, which only make him feel worse.
After another day of you only giving him dry responses he ends up cornering you, finally having enough of the guilt eating him up
Apparently not learning his lesson the first time but I digress
"Look," He said, square pupils fixed on you.
A sigh
"I'm sorry, okay? I didn't think you'd flip,"
Not perfect, but it's a start.
"If I knew I wouldn't have, I swear," he added when he was met with silence. From seemingly out of no where, he pulls something out
An object you like, be it a flower a book or something else that he found lying around the circus
You took it, observing, then looked back up at him. He did look remorseful, even if he didn't really say it.
That would have to do, that's the best you're going to get from him. Baby steps
From that day forward, you notice that Jax lightens up around you, pranking you less and generally being a little less annoying when it comes to you

WARNING: lashing of a tail and reader gaining trauma
CHARACTERS: Kirishima Eijiro and Bakugo Kitsuki
WORD COUNT: 513
A/N- Hey, I know it's not much, but I hope you all enjoy this small story!
You knew, you knew immediately that those rancorous words were going to provoke their anger.
“It's better that your hatchlings have died, you're terrible parents.” You sneered, cheeks blushed and heart thrumming.
Your fury still kindles for the death of your parents and their need to coddle you to supplant their loss had you Irritable, they had stolen from you. The more you pondered it the more it enraged you—it's the reason you lashed out at them.
You discern a whimper from Kirishima, sucking in a breath as Bakugo looks down upon your puny self and bares his fangs. You go rigid, neglecting the thought of pain as his honed nails burrowed into your skin and drugged you into the crook you dreaded. With a shove, you were face first with the rooted wall.
“Rather if we're terrible parents in your mind, but that doesn't cease our love for you.” Kirishima spoke up, slithering near you, and sniffled. “Even so, this was hurtful and requires discipline.”
But, this wasn't what you knew. How spine-chilling Kirishima could be, his eyes swollen and irritated but held not a slightest bit of light.
“I'm s-sorry.” You weren't, but you felt that your apology would hinder what's to come.
It didn't, his tail striped your behind. Once, twice, and thrice before Bakugo approached and gave you his punishment.
He frowned, “opposing us makes us into the villains you see us as. Regardless, you'll be sleeping tonight alone with no supper, eventually you'll learn.”
You trembled, huddling into yourself as you cried. Bakugo's features sympathized before turning his back to you. You knew, you knew now you were sure afraid of them.
‘If they could hurt you, they could kill you.’
That thought lingered and kept your fear fed. You laid your head on your knees, nodding off.
_
Early in the morning, Bakugo had breakfast prepared for the three of you.
“Y/N,” Kirishima said hushly, “come have breakfast.”
Your eyes flew wide open, scooting away. Kirishima's brows pinched and he sighs.
“Did I hurt you badly?” He asked, “I'm really sorry. Please come eat breakfast, it's your favorite.”
You bobbed your head no and looked away. Kirishima gloomed and rubbed a hand on your shoulder, “Hey-”
“Please don't touch me, I'm sorry!” You cried out, pushed his hand away.
His lip parted, surprised, and glanced over to Bakugo who took notice of the situation. He slithered near and made himself little.
“What's the s'matter?”
“...” You didn't answer.
“Answer me,” Bakugo voiced his concern.
You stared teared eyes, “y-you gonna t‘hurt me again.”
Bakugo exhaled and Kirishima teared up.
“We won't, not no more, we aren't angry anymore!” Kirishima fretted, edging near your cowering form. “I am really sorry, my snakeling.”
You wepted, they both felt guilty and regretful of their actions from the night before. They left you be, to calm yourself down, and they both knew they needed to find a way to apologize. This is what they did not want, their baby to be afraid. They knew they needed to put things right.

The After Effects:
Summary: Even though Diana only gets custody of you Friday through to Saturday the effect she has in you is drastic, Aaron catches on to you picking up some of her behaviours and Ins’t tolerating it.
The first time Aaron saw Diana hurt herself was long before she was pregnant, tearing out her own hair with her bare hands and seemingly for no reason, he just stood there stunned and confused, what was he supposed to do? Was he supposed to stop her? Eventually he decided the best thing to do was simply walk out the room since when he tried to stop her it only made more agitated but when he was you picking up on it, and so young he was again confused as what he was supposed to do.
Brooklyn middle had called him in on ‘concerns’ he assumed it was just the type of hazing you get when your a single parent, maybe Diana had tried to snatch you again or you got in a scrap with another student but instead of a scolding teacher he was met with more fear and concern, Mrs Dwight, your 5th grade teacher sat him down with you beside him and pulled out a stack of papers.
Mrs Dwight: “Mr Davis, over the course the last week Y/n has been drawing more and more so concerning drawings”
she laid out 3 drawings all self portraits of sorts, one with you with scribbled black eyes and no mouth, another with red streaks coming out your body and finally one were you were standing alone sounded by black, alone.
Mrs Dwight: “ we’ve also observed some disturbing new behaviours from Y/n”
Aaron:” Like?”
Mrs Dwight: “ she keeps hitting her head against hard surfaces, doors tables walls and windows, it got so bad another student got involved, uh Miles Morales? He held her until she exhausted herself but she still developed swelling on her cheek because of it”
Aaron: “oh…”
Mrs Dwight: “…my self and the school are concerned, is there something going on at home?”
Oh please spare me, there was nothing wrong with his home, they should call in Diana, ask her where your learning this shit.
Aaron: “No, There’s nothing wrong at my home…I uh…Y/n’s Mom is a little unstable and I’ve seen her hurt herself before, she might be getting it from her”
Mrs Dwight: “ oh, well I’ve never met Mrs Davi-“
Aaron: “Nefratari, Her name is Diana Nefratari”
Mrs Dwight: “oh, well should I call Mrs Nefratari, maybe she can be of help?”
Aaron: “God no, please I’ll deal with this just do not get her involved!”
Aaron basically ran out the school, god help if the school actually did contact Diana he’d never hear the end of it, with you by his side he shuttled out the school basically dragging you by your hand down the street being silent until he finally reached home, he saw you making a break for you room only for him to hook his fingers into the handle of your back pack and pull you back.
Aaron: “ where do you think your going, huh?”
He said dragging you across the floor.
Aaron: “ wanna do something stupid like hit your head on some shit then hide away in your room? Schools gonna think I’m hurting you”
He plopped you onto the coach and pushed back your hair to see you did in fact have some mild swelling, and your hair was thinner by your hair line, you lightly pushed on his arm, you didn’t like being looked over.
Aaron: “just let me look at you”
He pushed your head to the side a tad to look over your skull, you had some bruising he could see through your scalp.
Aaron: “Jesus Christ Y/n, you got anything else on you I should know about?”
…
Aaron: “what you gonna go mute on me now? That's fine but if you don't wanna talk I guess you don't want to see your friends this weekend either? Can't have you hanging round people if your gonna start hurting yourself"
He's having Diana flash backs...
Aaron: "What what is it for attention? You think hitting your head on some walls is the way to go, well I'm giving you attention go on, why would you do this? You know how the school can be, they might send CPS again and I'll have to dress you like a church girl to get them off my back, and Miles, how you think that makes him feel having his classmates look at you like your crazy huh? How do you think that looks?"
...
Aaron: "Fine, go all quite on me, just like your Mom but get to your room"
And so you wordlessly stood up and sulked in your room while Aaron sat in the dark living room stewing, it was like she was bleeding into you and he hated it, he hated it whenever you picked up any small mannerisms of hers, like wiping your lip when you were nervous or twiddling your hair in your hands, he refused to let you straighten your hair since it would remind him of her, and now she had passed down her bad habits on you.
Aaron had since trained himself to look out for the signs that you were about to start, they were the same as hers, the pacing the rocking back and fourth the petting of your own her to gripping the scalp and he'd try to distract you from whatever you were feeling but it was never enough, he would catch you pressing your head on the brick wall or, like Diana tearing out your hair with a brush or just hitting yourself in the face with it, it all brought back memorise of Diana, of her hysterical screaming, the smashing of stuff it was all to much for him then, and it was still now, he had considered turning the house into a padded cell, but he also liked having exposed brick, and the more aggressive you became to yourself and the worse the bruising on your face and body you started having to miss school, he knew how they would take it if you came in with a beaten up face.
and when he caught you hurting yourself, with a brush, with your hands by hitting your head on a hard surface he would simply hold you till you stopped.
Aaron: "You can keep thrashing, I don't got plans today I can stay here all day if you like" He said while holding you in a bear hug while you pushed and kicked.
Aaron: "Go on, keep going, only gonna exhaust yourself" He muttered while you tried desperately to free yourself of him, trying to bite him only for him to shut your mouth with one hand and cover your lips while the other held you in place.
Aaron: "biting now are we? Gettin clever, that's fine I'll just put braces on you"
Sometimes, when it got really bad and you made yourself bleed while Aaron cleaned you up he would begin to tear up just a little, it was like he was back, and with her only smaller, and this time it isn't like he could just leave, you were his family, his only child and he would not loose you to the abyss that was Diana Nefratari, the pit that consumed him and trapped him with a blessing that she was desperately tying to tear from him, so she finally could eat him away, but she would not win, he would not let her win.
Evil Bitch...

This goes out to you and Ray! :D
I've been wondering about your TFISSAB folk, how do you handle their aspirations and goals?
As someone who also has a set of museum piece OCs I've found it quite hard to give them something to work towards. A museum pretty much is the epitome of holding up the status quo and there's only so much that a displayed machine can do.
As I've understood it, the trains and their respective coaches seem to be content with entertaining the visitors and serving the higher purpose of education/holding up the memory of their times. But do they sometimes wish to do more than that? Do they think that there should be more to it?
I'm especially wondering how it's for the wartime displays. They have been built for an entirely different purpose than to serve the public - Do they ever get sick of the visitors? How's their outlook on a long, unchanging future in a museum?
I fear we're gonna disappoint, but I'll try and make it up to you.
So engines, as we write them, largely do not have goals or aspirations. It's a rare circumstance that an engine is given something to work towards, as opposed to just work itself. We write them this way because they are machines, but also because when we came into the Thomas the Tank Engine fandom (which is where the idea for The Future is Still Silver and Black is rooted), one of the topics of debate was whether the engines, being sentient, were being mistreated and enslaved by Sir Topham Hatt.
Suffice to say, Ray and I fall on the side of engines not being people and therefore not having the same needs or wants. They are machines; their desire is to work and to be appreciated for it.
If a goal is truly necessarily though... there's another pervasive idea in the fandom that engines in service think preservation is a "fate worse than scrap". It is our opinion though that many engines, once on the other side of preservation, find that they've been given a new job and indeed are being asked to perform beyond their purpose. For many engines, particularly more humble ones, it can be a steep challenge that one must rise to meet.
But like you, we also found ourselves struggling with the problem of what our engines should actually be doing if they are not in revenue service, mostly no longer in motion, and placed in an environment that appears not to change much.
"Appears", being the operative word.
The Illinois Railway Museum literally bills itself as "a museum in motion" because they're always doing something there. There's events being held throughout their operating season, new acquisitions arriving several times a year, repairs and restorations being made. Pilot almost never wants for things to tell Pioneer about (unless the IRM was remiss in their newsletter duties at the time) because even if his own story is not progressing, that of someone or something else at his museum is.
Pioneer's yard is a little more to the tune of what you're talkin' about. There are four guys in it and so it remains for thirty years. The inside of the Museum of Science and Industry though changes quite frequently, so often that Pioneer actually can't report on everything that moves in and out of there. Instead he must prioritize things that are particularly interesting or that he can tie back to the larger theme of his current letter.
Science and industry both change rapidly as we learn and develop more and the MSI also hosts all kinds of other exhibits not directly related to its topic as well. We started writing Pioneer as taking more of an interest in what goes on indoors the museum to sneakily give him things to fill out his letters to Pilot, but this also dovetails nicely with his eventual move indoors himself and with his being the ambassador exhibit to the rest of the museum.
So yeah, we hedge the story a bit by broadening the topic to the history of the museums themselves rather than strictly the trains.
I'll admit, though, we were also lucky that the trains' stories continued to evolve. We're constantly looking upon the history these engines have - especially post preservation - and marveling that somehow we got here first. How these trains' histories are intertwined and how they both have a full "character arc" after becoming museum displays is incredible material. The story basically writes itself, so much so that it would sound contrived if the stuff in it hadn't actually happened.
If I'm remembering right though, your guys live at a military history museum? I could see how that'd give you a lot less material to work with since the topic is more narrow and also stays classified until it's not needed anymore so updates are rarer. I'm assuming they ain't trottin' in Dolley Madison's patchwork squares or props from James Bond movies to keep it fresh.
But I got one more trick in my Barney Bag for you.
Another way that I keep things interesting in Pioneer's yard is by having built out personalities for him and all his yardmates and letting them abrade naturally. This is also a way to give engines we don't actually know much about something to do. Even without as full and documented a history as Pioneer has, every engine has a place where it was built, a place and time period where it worked, a task it was given to do, a company it worked for, and accordant sensibilities as a result of all those things. And when all those circumstances are different from engine to engine, small stakes conflicts occur. Disagreements over weather or vanities or other small opinions.
For instance, 2903 rubs almost everyone wrong from time to time, including 999. Conversely, most engines love Pioneer, but 2903 finds his Burlington charm disingenuous. To give another example, if Pioneer met the Flying Yankee, they'd probably have a bumpy camaraderie despite being brothers, since Flying Yankee's east coast sensibilities would push unpleasantly against Pioneer's Midwestern ones.
As to war machines, most of ours are World War II relics and so have a particular sensibility to them. That is, they are what they are and they do no apologize for that, but they also generally recognize their utility to ideally be temporary. The ultimate goal of war is peace and so they fight to see the day they are obsolesced. There's a whole quote about it on the way out of U-505's exhibit.
Living beyond that? They could take it or leave it. Being scrapped is a perfectly dignified end of service. For U-505, he does resent Captain Gallery's repeated campaigning to keep him around, but he also thinks of that as Gallery's right as victor. He's ambivalent with being an exhibit now; it's an obligation to defeat and he'd have preferred to sink rather than be captured, but he also thinks of it as a fair trade for his crew's lives. Plus, he's got allies here now and he appreciates the great effort and expense the MSI goes to for him. His exhibit also affords him some measure of dignity so even if he is essentially a war trophy, the visitors don't generally treat him that way. The tone of his exhibit means he doesn't really have to "entertain" as much as other engines do.
Stuka is obviously very happy with his lot in life compared to what it could have been, abandoned and rotting away in some African desert. There's worse fates than being eternally pursued by one of the most handsome planes ever designed. He and Spitfire still playfight with each other, but neither they nor U-505 actually miss war itself. They miss the service, but they don't miss the stakes.
There was a Lockheed F-104 Starfighter at the museum for a while, and her sensibility as a Cold War engine may have been a little different in that even when the Cold War ended, she'd have "known" it wasn't really over so much as just got colder. She's probably feeling very smug right now and if she were still at the MSI, she'd be abrading everyone about it.

I’m gonna regret this but To Love, To Let Go
Hehehe
I doubt anyone remembers, but there was a post I made where I quoted Nik from a super self indulgent thing I was writing
The quote from him was "Often times, the best way to comfort us from our fears, is to be reminded you are not alone."
To Love, To Let Go is where this quote is from
It's honestly the one self indulgent fic I'm still scared to share so forgive me if this is a lackluster response 😅 which like, is why I don't know why I drew attention to it so *nervous laugh* I don't know
It's a Price centric story, technically.
There's basically an apocalyptic event that occurs in the US and Laswell gets Price to help her assist the UN in rehoming the remaining US population. There was a Ground Zero in the Eastern part of the US, and I'm thinking it was pretty much some kind of "explosion" type deal" where anyone that was in Ground Zero when "The Incident" occurred is presumed dead.
There was a good two months before there were any decent intervention from outside sources, which meant the surviving US population was kind of left to defend for themselves. The lack of intervention was due to an almost "quarantine" like state the US had to be put under. When other countries were able to finally intervene and help the remaining population, it was clear all hell had kind of broke loose during the two months.
A massive amount of people are transported to different countries and a good portion of that is sent to the UK. Among these people, is an early teens aged girl that has lost everything. She was on a special school trip out-of-state when "The Incident" occurred, which means she's one of like maybe 3 people that can say they are technically Ground Zero survivors.
There's a whole big mess involving what to do with her. It's been like a month since the interventions began, and the British government specifically is getting to be really fed up with the bullshit they're having to deal with from the surviving US population they have coming into their country. Granted, I don't really blame the US people cause this is all very traumatic, but still. They aren't handling it as well as they really should be.
Anyways, the mess involving the kid. Somehow, she ends up under Price and Laswell's watch/care. She's been through some shit since "The Incident", so she's very closed off. Very quiet, struggles to eat for a variety of reasons, blah blah blah. After a while, while Laswell fights to get the kid a good placement, Price manages to get her to open up/warm up to him.
She's instantly attached to him, and vice versa. There's several nights in a row where Price calls his dearly beloved husband Nik to talk about her. He's fallen for her in a very paternal way. He just can't stand that an innocent girl like her has to go through any of this. Eventually, with Nik pulling the truth out of him, Price admits he thinks the only "good" place for her to end up is with him. Basically just admits he wants to adopt her.
Obviously, he ends up adopting her. The actual story part is just him learning how to be a father, her learning how to love a new family because she was actually really close to hers, and just them learning how to love some and let go of others.

Could you write reader finding out food tlb liked from when they were human/their childhood and making it for them as a gift?
I know you wanted a fic but I have so so many thoughts about each of the boys that I'm gonna collect them all in this post!
The Lost Boys: Their Favorite Old-World Foods
Marko:
The little Italian stallion <3333
I HC him as growing up in inner Florence, Italy, during the artistic revolution. He was fairly elite/in high demand as a model
Basically, a brat with an ego
Still despite rubbing shoulders with the greats, he loved to come home to his family’s little city house and eat his mamma’s cooking
I think Marko’s favorite ‘old world’ dish is Garmugia: a simple springtime soup with cured pancetta, lima beans, scallions, and all sorts of other green veggies
It’s not fancy or especially delicious at all. But I think the smell, the taste, would make him freeze up, flooded with memories
and maybe for a second he’d stop being a feral, combative, snapping undead animal, and you’d catch a glimpse of the athletic young human from centuries ago
Dwayne:
My personal HC for Dwayne is he got put in a residential school for native Americans at a young age, basically ripped away from his family
He probably escaped, hightailing it out at around 16, and then survived alone on the streets of early 1800s colonizer cities with the rest of the dredges of society
(Which to me gives him a very strong “I fucking hate capitalism I truly hate this country and deep down I do genuinely want to see this broken system burnt to the ground, also FUCK cops” mentality)
I think Dwayne’s most memorable old-world food would be Gingerbread. Not the gingerbread we know: a soft, cake-like bread flavored with molasses, ground ginger, and cinnamon. Very dark and not very sweet
He worked odd (and illegal) jobs to stay alive and when winter rolled around street vendors would sell big hot slices of the stuff
Bringing him some real, legit circa-1810-gingerbread would probably make him remember the far-distant, little moments of actual joy he had in his human life
AND you’d probably be able to convince him to actually talk about his past for once
Paul:
Country boyyyy, I love youuuu
In my mind Paul is rural midwest, late 1800s when the industrial revolution was really kickin’ off and the cities were poppin (with drugs and alcohol lmao)
He was probably raised on a farm & did farmwork most of the time. Picture him in a low ponytail and work duds, pitching hay. That was probably for the best because that dude 100% has dyslexia and a math learning disability
But oooooh he was prettyyyyy and he knew it: I think Paul eventually ran away from his family’s farm and basically became a partyboy in a big city, like New York, and was changed there
I think Paul’s favorite old-world food is (brace for the cliche) Apple Pie!
Probably a rare treat his momma and sisters would cook up in the autumn and winter: smelling a good, home-style pie now makes him think of barefoot evening sitting on the farmyard porch, listening to cicadas
Unrelated, but I think Paul- that’s right, partyboy druggie bonerboy Paulie- still remembers how to tie a hog
David:
I have conflicting thoughts abt this motherfucker
His backstory HC for me is still a little elusive, but I have some basic details for him
He comes from a pretty fucked-up biological family (probably a crazy-abusive dad and absent mother), was 100% drafted in a war at some point (I suspect the civil war), and 100% deserted his station in that war. Out of cowardice, fear, or distain, I don’t know.
I don’t think David really has a favorite food?? He’ll eat plain rice. Plain, oily noodles. Hard-tack biscuits. Literally anything like whatever it’s not his personal thing
David like drinking and smoking. I think David’s favorite old-world vice is Irish Whiskey. Again, not the drink we think of. A lot less refined, very rough and coarse: it was the most popular and easily-accessible spirit in the 1860s
I think it reminds him of ‘simpler times’: just him, alone, human, in a dingy old bar, getting the cheapest drink he can get, ducking his head to avoid being seen by military officials and wondering where he can run away to next
Give him a straight shot of Irish whiskey in an old-style enameled bar glass and it’s one of the only times he won’t be full-on Mansplain Manipulate Manwh0re: he’ll probably sit on a beachside bench with you, drinking in silence, watching the waves crashing far away. Lost in thought. Looking as old as he really is.

Can i request Yandere Choir/Ride the cyclone with Trishna? (Noel being platonic) (Idk if you do for Cut Characters)
She's a cut character, she's a shy, nerdy and curious girl who's into entomology and has a crush on her neighbor and classmate Hank! (Now idk things about Hank, but i'm pretty sure he was supposed to be the kindest boy in town or whatever)
Thanks! Here's a virtual flower and hug for you! 🌷🫂
☁️Yandere Choir x Trishna🌧️
Hopefully, this is okay since I don't know a lot about Trishna or Hank, I do write for cut characters though! They are very interesting to learn about. :)
⚠️WARNING: General yandere content!⚠️
Ocean O'Connell Rosenberg:
Ocean's impression of Trishna was nothing notable. They had met through Hank after Ocean urged the other choir members to find new recruits, the new recruit Hank brought being Trishna.
Though, in Trishna's own words, "I'm not really planning on joining the choir actually..., Hank just asked me to at least look at it." But Ocean wasn't going to have it, as she had done with basically everyone else in the choir, she was gonna make sure Trishna joined them!
Her plan was simple: become Trishna's friend and soon coerce her into joining. She started by sitting with her at lunch, then walking with her in the hallways, and eventually, they would have study sessions together. Trishna wasn't stupid though, she very well knew the only reason they were hanging was for Ocean to make her join the choir, but she didn't really mind if it meant she could have another friend.
Ocean treated Trishna a lot like how she would Constance, they were friends, sure, but it wasn't too rare to see Ocean interrupting Trishna or pushing her to do stuff she didn't want to.
Ocean's tactic had worked though, Trishna out of obligation joined the choir...
In all fairness though, Trishna would've joined the choir at some point even if Ocean didn't push her to do so, Hank had been trying to persuade her for years after all.
With Her and Ocean's friendship simmering down a little, Trishna is still lowkey terrified of Ocean but also curious on why she acts the way she does. There's just something about the facade Ocean puts on that makes her want to dig deeper and learn more about the girl.
And she does! Instead of just Ocean initiating their hangouts (which now that she joined the choir, was every once in a blue moon), Trishna would go out of her way to invite Ocean to study with her or just go out of her way to talk to her.
This sudden shift put Ocean on the defensive as she didn't expect Trishna to be so... forward, but she too caved like Trishna once had.
Their hangouts are, as I've said already, mainly study dates. Ocean likes it this way though, she finds that Trishna is on the same wavelength as her and one of the few people who can match her intellect.
They were a good match together and were quick to become good friends.
Ocean tries to get Trishna to back her up a lot during arguments, which works even if Trishna doesn't think Ocean's in the right.
Trishna also really admires Ocean... She would kill to have such a good work ethic as her and wishes she could have her motivation.
Eventually, the topic of entomology came up in their conversations and Ocean is quick to learn of Trishna's fondness of the subject.
Ocean personally cannot stand insects, but watching Trishna get all giddy and excited about them makes her not say anything about that. In fact, she finds the girl's excitement adorable and even if she hates bugs, she'll let her rant about them all she wants.
There are a few times where Ocean's facade starts to crack a little, like when she goes on a whole rant about the dangers of drugs when they aren't even on that subject or how she is constantly spraying bits of perfume on her person. These behaviors and several others really let Trishna see into the girl's personal life and her fears.
It lets her see that Ocean isn't as flawless as she presents herself to be.
Trishna subtly tries to tell Ocean to take a break but Ocean never picks up on it. It got so bad that one day when the two were studying together, Ocean was noticeably more stressed out than usual and she ended up breaking down mid-session. Trishna knows she's awful at comforting people, but she really does try her best for Ocean, she pats her back while the ginger sobs, and when she calms down they talk it out.
Ocean had so much built up inside of her that they talked for hours. Once they both realized how late it had gotten, Ocean couldn't help but feel so embarrassed... She rarely got embarrassed but in this moment she honestly felt terrible.
Ocean helped Trishna pack up the supplies and Ocean was about to walk out of her home, an apology on her tongue, but before she could say anything Trishna said, "...I'm really glad you opened up to me, you know."
Trishna could not have been prepared for how much Ocean's heart would melt at her words..., a red blush covering her cheeks as she brushed it off and quickly left before Trishna could ask what was wrong. The whole way home, those words repeated in Ocean's mind as she tried to not make any deep meaning to them, but god was it so hard when that was the moment she knew she was in love.
Trishna basically earned herself a koala, because Ocean is attached.
And with this newfound bond they both had, Trishna decided to push her luck and try to help Ocean learn how to take a break, while also trying to get her to stop being so harsh to those around her. The only reason Ocean is really doing those things is for her.
The tradeoff for Trishna though is that Ocean tries to push her out of her shell and get her to do various "girl activities" together. (All the activities being within reason of course. And yes, this was an idea suggested by Constance.)
They go shopping, watch musicals at the local theater, have sleepovers, etc. It's all pretty new to Trishna since she used to spend all her time studying, but she really likes it!
Ocean tries to be smooth and flirt with Trishna, but it backfires as Ocean is just awful at it... Trishna always ends up laughing and it makes Ocean's heartbeat faster.
If anyone even tries to bully Trishna, Ocean will for sure make them regret it, She will protect her baby with her life.
Trishna loves holding Ocean's hand since Ocean's hands are really cold and hers are warm, it makes for a nice balance.
When it comes to Hank, Ocean is lowkey infuriated with him. She wants to be the one Trishna likes, how could she like someone as simple-minded and unoriginal as him? He can't understand her like she can!
The moment Ocean figures out she likes Trishna, Ocean and Hank have a one-sided rivalry with Ocean trying to constantly prove she is better than Hank by any metric of society. Any time Hank would do something nice for Trishna, Ocean would do something 10x better. If he had a good report card, she would have a better one. If he got some kind of award, she would get 10 more, it was a constant competition for Ocean that confused Trishna a lot...
On the flip side, Trishna and Hank's relationship is what sends Ocean down her yandere spiral...
She will keep them apart at all times, mainly during choir since that's where she has the most control.
She has to stop herself from groaning and yelling out of frustration when Trishna gushes about Hank, like, her eye will be twitching the whole time.
Anytime Trishna confides in Ocean about her crush, Ocean will purposefully give her bad advice.
Ocean also will subtly bad-mouth Hank to Trishna, Trishna knows that Ocean doesn't like Hank and is purposefully trying to keep them apart but she doesn't know why and she also doesn't want to upset Ocean so she never brings it up.
Admittedly, Ocean's bad-mouthing also gets to her head.
Ocean has a habit of staring at Trishna during class, like, full-on obsessive staring, which even she finds concerning because she sometimes forgets to focus in class...
Noel Gruber:
Gonna be real, Noel was not at all interested in Trishna at first... He just thought of her as another shy girl, nothing special.
Trishna didn't think much of him as well, he seemed fine and she was curious about the papers he wrote on just to throw away.
The only thing that really connected them was their crush on Hank. Noel had a massive crush on him and Hank wasn't even aware of it.
Noel wasn't immediately jealous of Trishna, he didn't even know she had a crush on Hank until he started noticing the way she gushed at him. It was then that he started to feel a little jealous.
Scratch that, very jealous.
He's gone through this same song and dance so many times that he just finds it so frustrating. Every time there was a guy he was interested in, there had to be some girl there who he knew his crush would end up with.
So he was admittedly a little rude to Trishna.
Nothing big, but he'd exclude her a lot, be snappy with her, and a few other minor things here and there. These actions did hurt Trishna, but she didn't want to make a big deal out of it since she thought she was overreacting.
Trishna would also try to befriend Noel, she complimented him and would sometimes leave snacks on his choir seat, but Noel was generally unreceptive to her attempts.
One day though, Noel was walking through the halls to go to the restroom and just around the hallway he heard some guy talking badly about him. He was about to just sigh, roll his eyes, and keep on walking until she heard Trishna's voice...
She was defending him, albeit, in the least confrontational way possible, but she was still defending him. Why was she doing that after how cold he'd been to her? Was it staged? He knew that didn't make any sense considering there was no way she would have known he was going to go to the bathroom during class, but it was still such a weird thing for her to do.
But it was nice that someone was looking after him, no one's ever done that before.
He would say that his attitude towards her made a complete 180, but there was a noticeable shift even if he did sometimes fall back on old habits. He was generally nicer, would actually include her in conversations, and would also put little trinkets on her choir seat as a thank-you for the snacks.
They slowly but surely became friends after that.
If Trishna gets to ramble about bugs to Noel then she has to let Noel rant about The Blue Angel, that was the rule they made.
Seriously though, Noel may hate bugs with a passion, but he finds all her fun facts interesting.
He will be pulling her away from her school if he thinks she needs a break, whether she likes it or not. Noel knows her parents work her to death and he is not a fan.
Declares himself as her older brother and will be taking care of her as such. Trishna finds it funny though since she actually does see him as an older brother figure even if they are the same age.
Noel knows all the secret spots in their school to take her when Trishna just wants to calm down and not be near people.
He will also speak up for her if she is too shy to say anything herself.
On lucky days, Noel will be able to actually convince her to skip choir practice so they can go have some fun, it makes Trishna super nervous though-
Trishna is super interested in Noel's poems and practically begs Noel to let her keep them instead of him just destroying them, she thinks art should be appreciated and that includes his.
He would never tell her since he finds it so sappy but it warms his heart knowing someone actually thinks his art is worth something.
Trishna will never find out about Monique if Noel has something to say about it! ...She probably does find out though from snooping around Noel's room, but she doesn't say anything to save him from the embarrassment.
Trishna thinks Noel is super talented, like, Picasso or Mozart type talented.
Eventually, Noel gets over his crush on Hank, it did take a while but he has other things to worry about now... like Trishna's crush.
He has some thoughts.
He originally tried to be supportive of her and would push the two of them to be together. Like, he would set up dates for them and would help build her confidence so she could flirt more openly with Hank.
He wanted Trishna to be happy and if Hank was who made her happy, then so be it.
But eventually, he started feeling a little weird about it...
Every time he would watch them walk away together for a date or something else, he would just start getting the most heart-pounding anxiety out of nowhere.
Something about watching Trishna leave, even if he knew she'd come back eventually, just gave him a sinking feeling in his gut.
Turns out he really didn't want her to leave him behind.
And in the most left-field decision possible, Noel started to push them apart, which really confused both Trishna and Hank...
Trishna tried to confront him about his switch-up, but he just chalked it up to him not realizing that Hank wasn't good enough for her and that she deserved better than him. And like Ocean, he got to her head and made her stop seeing Hank as often...
Noel is so incredibly possessive of Trishna, he influences who she interacts with, where she can go, and the whole nine yards.
Trishna knows she should break away from him but she really does see him as family so she has a hard time doing so...
Noel is also aware of this and uses it to his advantage so they can spend more time together.
She's his little sister after all.
Mischa Bachinski:
Mischa had to be the most interesting person Trishna had met by far.
As soon as she joined the choir, he was the first person who really caught her eye. She really couldn't help but be curious when he had such a unique look to him, clearly he wasn't from around here.
But of course, due to his intimidating aura, Trishna vowed to just watch him from afar.
Hank tried to reason with her and tell her that Mischa, although he hadn't met him himself, would much rather her go up to him rather than just stare at him, but she wouldn't budge.
Throughout choir, anytime she thought he wasn't looking (which, let's be real, was most of the time) she would take sneak peeks at him. She would note his behavior, habits, and whatever she caught her attention during their seemingly endless hours of rehearsal.
Mischa would feel someone staring at him during practice and he tried ignoring it at first since everyone does that until they just get used to him, but after a while, he confronted her about it.
This led to Trishna trying to awkwardly explain how she found him interesting and just wanted to see how he acted, all the while trying not to sound creepy. Don't get him wrong, he was a little peeved at her actions, but it also interested him so he let her off the hook.
Once they were over that initial bump, Trishna started to go up to Mischa so they could talk during choir. It was a lot of Trishna asking questions about his home and whatnot, with Mischa sometimes asking questions back.
They also started to meet up in the mornings.
Trishna was somehow able to get Mischa to teach her Ukrainian and she is surprisingly good at it, even if she fumbles with the pronunciation sometimes. Anytime she messes up, she gets super embarrassed.
A big thing they bond over is their love lives, Trishna's crush on Hank, and Mischa's love for Talia. Mischa would share some of the "wisdom" he has learned from being with Talia which Trishna actually takes seriously.
They both share tips with one another which may or may not work.
With this being their main talking point, it really surprised Mischa whenever first saw Trishna rambling excitedly to Hank and a sharp pain hit his chest like something wasn't right.
It frustrated him to no end... What was so weird about Trishna finally being able to flirt with her crush, something that he helped her do? Every time, he gets this thought in the back of his head that tells him Hank isn't good enough for Trishna, but he keeps that to himself for fear of upsetting her.
His only solace was being able to text Talia, her words of praise and her love never failed to make him feel better about everything. This worked for a while and he managed to keep his mind off of Trishna and Hank.
But even that started to fail him, Talia's responses kept getting shorter and shorter with him and she didn't seem at all interested in his loving words.
He didn't think much of it, figuring she must have gotten busy with her job and whatnot, until one day he got a long text, at least two full messages long, from Talia explaining how she fell out of love with him and how she found someone better. The panic that shot through his spine was nothing like he had ever had before.
Despite the last line of her text asking him not to contact her anymore, he still sent text after text asking for her to forgive him and to please come back to him, that he could still give her the world.
His messages were left on delivered before the app told him that she had blocked his number. That day really sucked.
For a good 3 weeks, he would rot in his bed, only getting out if he absolutely needed to. His heart felt like it had broken into a million different pieces, all being withheld from him by the one he used to love so much...
His absence from school and the fact that no one had heard from him really got Trishna worried... On a whim, and hoping to some magical force that he would come back, she sent him a text, just saying how she hoped he would come back soon and that she was worried. He got the text immediately after she sent it as he was scrolling through their past messages, it made him feel a little better, and he was quick to scroll back down and read her message.
...
As much as he didn't want to, as much as he thought his heart couldn't take it, he knew he needed to get up, if only for her sake.
On his first day back, Trishna was the first to come up to him, clearly excited to see him even though she tried to hide to not upset him.
They just talked like everything was normal, like nothing happened and he didn't just break up with the love of his life.
And he was okay with that, in fact, he was more than okay with it. He liked being able to let his guard down around her and be able to just talk about whatever came to their minds. Trishna was so easy to be with and he loved that.
He loved her.
...
He sees now how people think he moves too fast in relationships... (He literally doesn't care though.)
Gaining a crush on Trishna was not what he was expecting, especially since he just got out of a relationship with the girl he wanted to marry only weeks prior, but he didn't mind.
How could he mind when she had just the cutest expression on her face when she talked about entomology or when the way her brows would furrow when she had questions about something.
He seriously doesn't understand how Hank could be so hopelessly oblivious to what was right in front of him.
Speaking of Hank...
Mischa and Hank were never close, like at all, and even the moments when Hank did talk to Mischa, it was a very one-sided conversation. But even if they had been the best of friends, Mischa would have still been less than impressed with Trishna's crush on him.
Sure, he may be known to be a kind guy, but actions speak louder than words and Trishna is way too good for him. Literally, how could Hank miss someone so incredible pining after him? That's reason enough for why he doesn't deserve her.
So, as any totally sane and rational person would do, Mischa would actively go after and try to intimidate Hank, really trying to hammer in that if he ever sees him around Trishna again, he's gonna get more than a few broken fingers next time. Hank, being the guy that he was, was really hesitant to just leave Trishna with him and wanted to warn her, but he had to prioritize his own safety this time...
Mischa's intimidation even made Hank quit the choir, much to the bafflement of everyone.
Mischa will get into entomology for Trishna, he doesn't care for bugs but if she likes them, he wants to be able to talk about it with her. Trishna also gets super excited when Mischa starts to actually be able to contribute to their conversations about entomology and her smile is what really made it all worth it for Mischa.
Mischa really likes being close to Trishna at all times, like he needs to have a hand on her whenever they are together. He always feels such an intense need to be really possessive of her, especially since he knows some people, like Hank, will try and keep her away from him.
Trishna likes hanging out in his basement with him, it's very calming and she gets to get away from people.
What about Trishna's parents? You may be asking, and the answer to that is that Mischa will somehow get Trishna those A's even if it's not the legal way. He is committed to taking up as much of her free time as possible.
Ricky Potts:
They met before Trishna joined the choir during an after-school dance where they would receive extra credit, Trishna was there because she genuinely wanted extra credit and Ricky was there because his parents thought it would be a good opportunity for him to "make new friends." He didn't have the heart to tell them that everyone avoids him at school...
They were both meant to just be another pair of eyes, supervisors in case anyone got a little too crazy. Ricky was standing by the punch bowl, just trying to wait the night out so he could get out of his stuffy tux and go home when Trishna approached him awkwardly. She said hello and introduced herself, asking if he was the other supervisor there as she didn't really want to be alone all night.
Ricky, not really thinking clearly as he was excited someone actually came up and talked to him, was quick to sign, "Yes, I am. My name's Ricky." As soon as his hands started signing, he made a mental facepalm as he remembered that she probably didn't know ASL... But just as soon as he was about to grab his pad and pen, she signed back with, "It's nice to meet you, I like your tie." Then points to his space-themed tie.
Her signing definitely wasn't perfect, but the way his heart leaped for joy when he watched her hands make those words was unimaginable.
They had a great night together as well, talking, laughing, and occasionally dancing in their little corner. They didn't even realize the dance was over until the room was almost empty, and even then they both just sheepishly giggled as they walked out. Ricky was thrilled to have finally met his person.
After that night, they were inseparable. Ricky finally found someone willing to talk and hang out with him and Trishna found someone who she was comfortable with, it's a win-win situation!
Now, Ricky had never intended to show Trishna anything related to Zolar, as, in his view, she was far too pure to not be absolutely mortified by it...
It might have been the one thing he was passionate about in the world, but he was acutely aware of how others saw his daydreams and he wasn't about to risk losing Trishna. Well, until he was literally pushed to by Trishna.
Trishna, being the ever-curious girl she was, had known for a while that Ricky was hiding something from her, it was just written all over his face when he would slam his notebook shut when she came up to him during lunch and when he would stop himself mid-sentence as if to stop himself from mentioning something. She just had no idea what that something could be!
So, for pretty much a month straight, Trishna did everything she could to coax this secret out of him. She poked and probed at every possible point she could think of, but it never worked...
Until during one lunch period when Ricky was rambling about some movie franchise (probably Star Trek, she can't remember), and he just so happened to start mentioning his own universe inspired by it with a planet called Zolar. Ricky was quick to shut his mouth, but it was too late...
And so, he told Trishna everything he could about Zolar. As much as he wanted to leave some of the more explicit details out, she wasn't having it.
Trishna wasn't too weirded out by the whole thing and even is the one who usually initiates their conversations about Zolar. It's a nice change of pace for her to see someone else nerding out about something they love. :)
Then came Trishna joining the choir... Ricky normally would've been in love with this idea as it meant he could spend some more time with his favorite person, but as soon as he saw her in the choir room during her first rehearsal, he saw something that shook him.
Right in front of him was his best friend talking to Hank, an interaction he would have thought was normal if not for the red blush that coated Trishna's cheeks as she animatedly talked to him. The view hit him like a truck..., seeing the girl he's grown to care for so much acting so giddy over some guy made his stomach churn in the most unpleasant of ways.
He didn't even know why. What could have him possibly feeling so riled up about this?
His dilemma lasted him about a good week and he had several ramblings about it to his cats before he came to a startling conclusion. The conclusion is that he likes Trishna, a lot more than he thought he did.
He's never been one to deny his feelings, finding that it only takes up time he doesn't have, but this was different... It's about the only person in Uranium (besides his own parents) who actually cares to get to know him and see him as an individual, not just his disability.
Letting something as silly as a crush get in the way of that..., he really doesn't think he can take it. But he knows he can't hide these feelings forever, after all, thinking of Trishna being with anyone else is a way worse feeling than just their relationship being awkward after he confesses.
The only solution in his eyes was that he wait. He waits until she sees that he is the only one who understands her, he waits until she sees that Hank, or anyone else for that matter, is just a fleeting relationship that won't be able to compare to the one he has with her, he will wait for her.
During class, Ricky and Trishna would pass notes to one another filled with random questions, conversations, and doodles. Trishna especially likes drawing butterflies around Ricky's Zolar OCs.
They would also totally cosplay together, mainly from cartoons such as Steven Universe, The Owl House, Gravity Falls, etc. (Ricky would convince her to dress up with him as one of the couples on the show-)
Any time Ricky sees an insect literally anywhere, he will send a picture to Trishna so she can tell him what it is.
Speaking of photos, he has so many photos of Trishna, it's unreal- A lot of them are taken from when she's asleep or just unaware of his presence too. He isn't even sure why he does it other than he likes taking note of how many times he sees her in a day.
Ricky won't exactly interfere with Hank and Trishna's relationship, over time his jealousy simmers down a bit and he can think more level-headedly about how to deal with their relationship, but he does often try to get Trishna to talk to him instead of Hank. He wants her to come to him on her own accord, not because he's making her do so.
He always makes their hangouts last longer than they need to, so he can ask her to spend the night at his place. He wants to make sure she's safe and he gets to spend more time with her that way!
Even if Ricky can't physically beat her bullies up, being one of the few disabled kids in Uranium means a lot of faculty take his side during conflicts and he will be using that to make sure they at the very least get suspended for a little while.
Penny Lamb:
Trishna was one of the first people Penny had met at St. Cassian High School. Penny was a new student and Trishna, with the company of Ocean, was her tour guide. They met in the principal's office about an hour before school started and the rest is history.
The first impression Penny got of Trishna was that she was a lot like herself..., they were both quiet, nerdy people who didn't have many friends. That's probably what drew Penny in so much as she at least there was one person here who could hopefully understand her struggles.
Which Trishna did, very well, as soon as Ocean left to go tend to her other club duties, they both got to talking and Trishna found herself really enjoying Penny's company. She didn't have to worry so much about having moments of silence since Penny too didn't feel the need to say anything. Penny's anxious attitude was also a nice breather from most other students' loud and boisterous personalities, Trishna actually got herself talking more and basically being the extrovert in their conversations as she wanted to make Penny more comfortable.
They were attached at the hip after this and Penny managed to even get all her classes switched so she could be in the same ones as Trishna's, it was honestly such a big help to her anxiety since she had someone she was comfortable with next to her at all times...
With Trishna and Penny being friends, it was bound to happen that one would start info-dumping about their passions to the other while the other intently listened. Very often, they both will just start info-dumping about completely different subjects while they work on homework or something else and they both somehow consider this to be the best part of doing their schoolwork-
Trishna will be ranting about entomology and her favorite insects while Penny will chime in every now and again with her own animal facts, they both work really well together in this regard.
And speaking of entomology, Penny will be getting into that from how often Trishna rants about it. Like, she is basically trying to collect the tri-force of nature facts with how much she knows about animals, insects, and actual nature. Although Penny is actually really interested in entomology, it also makes her happy to be able to rant about it with Trishna.
A big turning point in their friendship started when Trishna joined the choir, as per Ocean's influence. The news really shocked Penny since she didn't think Trishna would be into that at all (Even now, Penny is 90% sure Trishna only joined because Ocean wouldn't stop pestering her) but Trishna reassured her that it's fine and she actually thinks this will be good for her.
That last statement wasn't entirely believed by Trishna though..., sure, joining the choir would make her a more rounded person and would look good for colleges, but she also has never had to put herself in such a spotlight before... The more she thought about it, the more nervous she got.
So, what better way to sedate her nerves while also not backing out of the choir entirely than to get Penny to join her!
Only a few days after joining, Penny had come up to Penny and, through some very anxious ramblings, asked if she would join as well, even if just for as long as it takes for her nerves to subside.
Penny herself was not too keen on the idea, but pretty much immediately said yes to Trishna's offer since there was no way in hell she'd let her best friend just deal with all that anxiety on her own.
That was how a nervous Trishna and equally as nervous Penny went up to Father Marcus to ask if Penny could join the choir (Even if Father Marcus wanted to say no, he was kind of afraid they both might start having a panic attack if he did-)
Penny never really knew who Hank was, only having heard of him in passing through Trishna and other kids, but as soon as she walked into her first choir rehearsal, she was greeted by him with Trishna at his side...
She really had to hold back from making any less-than-polite facial expressions.
Hank was sweet..., he was a friendly guy who any person could only dream of having as a romantic partner. And yet the moment Penny saw him having any kind of positive interaction with Trishna, it just made her view of him spiral to the lowest of lows. Just the way Trishna smiles at him makes her blood boil.
Trishna is her best friend and she isn't going to let him take her away. And let me just say that Penny can be very stubborn and very petty when she wants to be.
The more y this kind of relationship went on between her and Hank, the more Penny would start to notice the way her feelings had changed around Trishna. It really did start out as her wanting to protect her friend and not lose her to some guy, but every time she looked at her... it made something flutter inside her chest.
Every touch, conversation, or look just made her melt and she was quick to understand what was happening, even if it made her understandably anxious. She was in love with Trishna, she was in love with her best friend.
It really was just like out of romance novel, huh? Still, she's learned by now that it's better to deal with these sudden changes than to live your life running away from them.
Penny has so many nicknames for Trishna, most of which are just variations of her name though since she can't think of something more creative- Trishna likes to call Penny love bug, she is seriously a sucker for cheesy pet names and it just fits perfectly.
They both go on lots of hangouts to parks, nature sites, and museums.
Penny loves to draw Trishna, she's her biggest inspiration and undoubtedly her muse, Trishna would get embarrassed if she heard that from Penny though.
Penny was unbelievably happy the first time Trishna came to her to vent about her parents, she was so glad Trishna could trust her and open up about something bad that was going on in her life, even if Penny couldn't necessarily relate. That being said, Penny has made it her mission to get Trishna's parents off her back, and every opportunity she gets, no one will make her (unofficial) girlfriend stressed!
Not even kidding, Penny legitimately has a doll that looks exactly like Trishna. She hides it from her of course, but whenever she can't see Trishna, she likes to have it with her so she doesn't get her usual feelings of overwhelming loneliness she gets without her.
Did someone say overwhelming loneliness? Because Penny gets so anxious and sad without Trishna, it's actually insane. Every single time, she can't stop her brain from spiraling out of control from the what-ifs.
One of Penny's favorite things to do is to steal one of Trishna's sweaters and see how long it takes for her to notice. She also wears the sweater every night while she sleeps, since it smells like her.
Constance Blackwood:
The way Constance and Trishna met was a pretty basic tale in Constance's opinion...
Constance and the other choir members were sat inside the choir room, waiting for Ocean to come back after saying she needed to "finish some important business" which she refused to elaborate on.
Everyone was kind of doing their own thing and not speaking to one another, Mischa was scrolling on his phone, Noel was writing in a notebook, Ricky was staring off into space, and Constance was completing some homework, all very normal activities.
Well, occasionally Constance would reach for her water bottle to drink from and eventually it ran out, so she quickly left the choir room to go refill it. The walk itself was fairly short, so she knew she could make it back before Ocean did, though it also wasn't all too to close the choir room itself. When she started walking back, right as she turned the corner to go back into the art hallway, she bumped into someone...
The collision made both her and the other student fall to the ground, Constance's water bottle making a harsh sound as it fell beside her. The whole accident was beyond embarrassing for Constance..., she could not believe she had been so negligent to let something like that happen... She made sure to quickly jump up to help the other person, wanting to apologize for bumping into them.
She helped the girl up and both of them started to apologize at the same time. Looking back, it kind of just made Constance want to laugh at how silly it was. The girl in front of Constance shot out another apology before Constance was able to and asked where the choir room was, which caught Constance's attention. Constance explained how it was just down the hall and how she was a member of the choir.
The other girl made an audible sigh of relief at her words, introducing herself as Trishna and explaining how Ocean had pushed her to join the choir.
Eventually, Constance offered to show Trishna where the choir room was and Trishna obliged. The first meeting and one that Constance, although thinking it is quite bland, looks back on fondly.
Afterwards, though, they both didn't really get a chance to talk to each other much with Trishna's attention either being taken by Ricky, Mischa, or their other new member Penny and Constance's attention being taken by Ocean. It kind of sucked since Constance thought that by being one of the first people to meet her out of the group she and her could have possibly become better friends...
It probably didn't help that Trishna was so busy all the time, considering how strict her parents could be, she didn't have much time that was dedicated to her studies.
There was one time though when Trishna didn't have her afternoon packed to the brim with her studies and that time was swiftly occupied when Ocean asked her if she wanted to have a sleepover at Constance's house for girl's night. Of course, Trishna said yes, although she isn't sure if she would've been allowed to say no..., and that's how she found herself sitting in Constance's bedroom while Constance did Ocean's hair.
They did the regular sleepover activities of watching movies, playing truth or dare, eating snacks, etc. At some point, Ocean left to go to the bathroom, leaving Trishna and Constance alone in awkward silence..., yay.
Constance, being the nice person she was and also just wanting to fill the silence, asked Trishna if this was a good sleepover, to which Trishna replied with a shrug and said that this was her first sleepover so she couldn't really rate it. Constance was a little taken aback by her answer, she knew that Trishna was a shy girl but she thought there at sure was some point where got to just let loose and have a fun night with friends...
Even though Constance herself didn't have many friends she still had sleepovers with Ocean every once in a while, she felt bad that Trishna had to miss this kind of childhood experience.
Constance wanted her to have a good time and do everything sleepovers are supposed to entail, so she grabbed some nail polish from her nightstand and soon offered to paint Trishna's nails.
The next day Trishna walked around the giddiest she had ever been with her purple-painted nails and a new friend by her side.
Trishna had admitted to Constance once that she had never really been a music person and now Constance has made it her lifelong mission to find at least one music artist that Trishna likes!
They both watched the movie A Dog's Purpose and sobbed the whole way through.
Constance let Trishna bake with her once. Never again. Trishna is actually awful in the kitchen, nothing they made that day could've been saved by Constance's godlike baking skills, it was that bad.
When it comes to Trishna's love for entomology, Constance was obviously supportive of her and her interests. But she also loves to debate about it, there will not be an opportunity where the two are not debating on whether bugs are adorable or an evil virus of Satan.
At the end of the day though, Constance is happy if she's happy.
Constance was never exactly sure when she fell in love with Trishna, there was never a day for her where she was like, "Oh, guess I'm in love with this person now," It took months for her to even think of the prospect. There was just one day where she thought, "I wouldn't mind spending the rest of my life with her."
And it really didn't occur until she was talking to her dad about it and he just gave her this look... When she asked what he was smirking and chuckling about, he just gave her the vague response of, "I thought the same way about your mother," leaving her alone to just think about what he had said...
When the pieces finally started clicking for her moments later, she had to run over to the nearest pillow and scream into it with all kinds of different emotions.
Constance listens to girl in red and Chappell Roan pretty much exclusively after she finds out about her attraction to Trishna.
Also, sleepovers now happen pretty much every day, Trishna lives at Constance's house now with how often she stays over there. Constance really wants to make sure that Trishna's parents don't disrupt her happiness and this was the best way she could think to do it.
When I say that Constance is just the sweetest thing to Trishna... Despite how well Constance can keep her crush under wraps, an obvious sign of it is just how well Constance treats Trishna, she literally treats her like they are a loving old married couple.
You'd think Hank would get in the way of their relationship, but you would be far wrong. Honestly, Constance rarely if ever notices he's even there half the time with how focused she is on Trishna. She did have to admit though, on the off chance he is brought up and Trishna starts gushing about him, Constance is always awfully quick to change the topic lest the bitter feeling in her stomach gets the best of her.
Constance's parents literally ship them together so much that every time Trishna is at their house, they always will "subtly" allude to Constance liking her and Constance has to really quickly drag Trishna away from them out of fear of her finding out.
Okay so..., she's not saying that she laced her sleepover snacks with melatonin so she could watch Trishna rest, but she is also not she didn't do that. She just wants Trishna to take care of herself, she swears! :'(
Constance doesn't get jealous super often but when she does it hits her like a Semi Truck- Watching all the choir members flock to Trishna like the bugs she loves so much makes her feel the need to just walk out of the room to calm down, it gets bad. Especially when it's Ocean since she's known the girl for so long and can easily tell how infatuated she is with Trishna.
The satisfaction she gets when making obvious romantic gestures to an oblivious Trishna and seeing how jealous Ocean gets back makes it all worth it though.
General/All together:
They are all basically an entomology club with how much the choir desperately tries to relate to Trishna's love of bugs.
Penny is somehow always not asked to come to girls' night so Trishna has to go out of her way to bring the girl herself.
Speaking of girls' night, the boys will be infiltrating that, there will be no peace.
Everyone in the choir might be in competition to win over Trishna, but the one thing they can all agree on is that they aren't fans of Trishna's crush on Hank at all. Hank will be having the worst few years of his life before graduation because they will make it miserable, no one is exempt from this.
Trishna will be getting almost all the choir solos from now on despite Ocean's protests.
The choir is also in a constant competition of either keeping Trishna shy or trying to get her out of her shell more. Ocean, Mischa, and Noel all want her to stay shy while Ricky, Constance, and Penny are the opposite.
Mall dates are a must for all of them, it's the one place you can really go to in Uranium, and it's public meaning none of them can act up.
A/N: I don't know if you wanted me to add Hank to this list, if you do just let me know and I can add him!

You know what I was thinking about the other day? Most of the time, B.A. let's Murdock say what he's gonna say, or most of it anyway, before he jumps on him. There are only a handful of times B.A. interrupts him. Face and Hannibal always let him talk, even if they feel the need to side-eye each other while he's talking, they let him finish no matter how crazy he's being. I think B.A. just has a short fuse and he gets angry when he doesn't understand (so with Murdock he snaps at him a lot lol), Face just assumes he's being silly most of the time so he plays along, but Hannibal knows how smart Murdock is. I think, if you watch Hannibal, he's always looking for the message in what Murdock is saying. Like he's speaking in riddles. Cuz he often is. And Hannibal seems to only ever be the one who notices and can decipher them. Of course, that's not always the case. Sometimes it's just Murdock expressing himself in a way no one understands. I'm glad B.A. and him ended up being good friends. I think B.A. sees things he doesn't understand as a threat and eventually he learns that Murdock would literally die for him. I really wish they kept up the storyline of B.A. slowly getting over his fear of flying. I think if he sat in the cockpit with Murdock and had him explain everything that he was doing, that B.A. would have at least started to let Murdock fly him. They seemed to be headed in that kind of direction in season 5, but of course, they never got the chance to get that far.
B.A.: Everything go okay? Murdock: – B.A.: No feedback, Murdock, just nod.

(Tati Gabrielle) [THE ORACLE]. Please welcome [TARI PARK (SHE/HER)] to Huntsville, WV. They are an [26]-year-old [VISITOR] who lives in [TOWN]. You may see them around working as a [MANAGER AT O'CONNELL OUTDOORS]. Poor unfortunate soul. We’ll see if they survive.
Name: Tari Park
Nicknames: Ri, T, TP
Face Claim: Tati Gabrielle
Age: 26
Gender/Pronouns: cis female, she/her
Orientation: Questioning
Town Visitor
Neither Hunter Nor Gatherer
Occupation: Manager at O'Connells
Traits: Sarcastic, Untrusting, Adaptable, Resilient
Bio:
As a little girl Tari that being different was a strength. She'd tried to take that and turn it into something. Time was not her friend. At five Tari started to lose her sight and despite doctors best efforts there was no way to stop it. By fifteen all that was left was some ability to pick up light and that's how it stayed. She was determined though. Things were different now, that's just how the cards fell sometimes.
Being blind meant she had to change the way she did everything. She learned to walk with a cane. Applied for a guide dog. She had to learn to read again. Tari had to figure out how she fit into the world when she couldn't see it.
It took time but eventually there came a time when navigating through the world became easier. It wasn't perfect. It never would be. She kept going anyway.
At 21 she convinced her family to let her go on a road trip with her friends. She figured she was fine. She had Kovu her dog with her. She just wanted to have a little fun and experience new places and foods in whatever way she could. That was the last time her family saw her or her friends.
After taking a few too many wrong turns and being unable to get back to the road they needed to be on due to a closure they ended up in Huntsville. At Night.
"Maybe there's a hotel or a b&b we can stay at." Tori wondered as the friend sat next to her described that they'd entered a small town.
"I don't know. Looks like a couple people outside that building. I'm gonna go ask." Came the voice from the drivers seat.
Tari leaned back in her seat, tired from the day and wanting nothing more than to curl up and sleep. Then everyone started screaming. Kovu was barking and hands were shoving her down. Down into the footwell of her seat in the back. Blanket, coat, bags, and her whole ass dog were shoved on top of her before she could even ask what was going on.
The sound of metal tearing, class breaking, and the guttural screams of her friends stole any words she might have had. Tari lay there, frozen, too scared to move or make a sound. She lay there tense and completely unaware of what had happened to her friends only that something terrible has happened.
Hours later, she wasn't sure how long, she heard voices.
"All dead but the poor dog has been crying all night."
The door behind her head opened and she couldn't help but flinch causing whoever had opened the door to pause.
"Wait. Something moved."
Suddenly the luggage was ripped off of her and hands were pulling her from the car causing her the scream and fight.
Tari was pulled to safety but she would never feel safe again. She had been told what happened to her friends but it was hard to believe. If it wasn't for the fear that wracked the town and the noises she wouldn't believe it at all.
As ever Tari was adaptable. It took time but she learned the lay out of the town. She knew every building and which were empty. She settled awkwardly into her life talking a job at O'Connell's. She thought maybe Percy might have been wary of an outside walking in for the interview but she'd had retail experience, her dad use to fish and hike so she knew the trade, and she had ways to make the job accessible for her. She wanted to help. She wanted to at least contribute in some ways.
Five years on Tari lives a life of routine. Wake up. Work. Grab a drink from the bar. Go home before dusk. She didn't deviate out of fear but the longing for home remained. One day. One day the nightmare would end and she would get to go home

Dad!Daemon as a disciplinarian and head of household
Do you think he has a hands on or off approach to parenting and discipline/teaching? (From the last ep it was def hands off … actually neglect but idk what the writers were doing). And how do you think he works with his partner in teaching and raising their children? Does he run his family with his same aggressive-“my way or the Highway”-behavior he shows in his earlier years or has children made him do a 180?
𝐏𝐀𝐑𝐄𝐍𝐓𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐋𝐄𝐒𝐒𝐎𝐍𝐒 𝐖𝐈𝐓𝐇 𝐃𝐀𝐄𝐌𝐎𝐍 𝐓𝐀𝐑𝐆𝐀𝐑𝐘𝐄𝐍
pairing: dad!daemon targaryen x mom!reader
reblogs, feedbacks and likes are appreciated. i hope you like it!
author's note: I'm in writing process of other dad!daemon requests stuff, but listen, your idea is AMAZING!!! And it fits really well in headcanon format. So here's what I think about Daemon's parenting.
gif by @daenerys-stormborn
· ┈┈┈┈┈┈ · ୨♡୧ · ┈┈┈┈┈┈ ·
During your first pregnancy, Daemon found himself in a crisis.
He had no idea how to be a father.
He was a ruthless knight, for gods' sake! He never took care of children before.
He wasted time trying to remember some of his brother's actions when Rhaenyra was young, but that was no example for him.
Viserys is a king, so it was never expected of him to take care of his daughter, or even educate her. And he never did.
Daemon remembers his father really well. He was 20 when Baelon passed away, and that's the only example of parenting he had.
Daemon knew in his heart he had a great father, and that's what he wanted to be for his children.
You were a few moons away from giving birth, and your husband couldn't stop babbling about baby names, and picking a good dragon egg to place in the crib, and fantasizing about taking the child to meet Caraxes, and...
Honestly, you couldn't wait for the child to be born.
And when Rhaegon finally arrived into your life, Daemon became everything he said he would be.
He was terrified at first. The man had no idea how to hold a child, he only held swords in his entire life.
But eventually he figured it was easier than it looked.
Years later, Daemon learned that taking care of a child and raising a child are two completely different things.
Rhaegon was three when you had your baby girl, Alyssa.
Daemon fell in love. And when her little hands touched his face for the first time, he felt loved.
The Rogue Prince couldn't be burned by fire, but time was the thing that made his heart ache.
Alyssa was growing up quickly, and Daemon felt the years passing by like a sharp valyrian blade cutting through his skin.
In the eyes of her father, Alyssa Targaryen was perfect. She had your beauty, your grace, but she also had his temper.
"But I told you not to play in the dragonpit!" Daemon scolded her while washing her dust stained platinum hair.
"Aegon said it would be fun!" Alyssa retorted.
"Dreamfyre is not to play with, she could have burned you. And, you shouldn't be with Aegon, I don't want you near him again. He's much older than you."
"But why is it a problem?" The little girl protested.
"Because I said so."
"But why?! Aegon is funny, and Rhaegon doesn't let me play with him and Luke and Jace. At least Aegon doesn't make me wanna smack his face like Rhaegon does." Alyssa murmured.
"Alyssa, don't say that! And certainly, do not hurt your brother. Listen, I'm gonna talk to him, okay? But you need to promise me that you'll never listen to Aegon again. Do not trust that kid, none of them."
Daemon couldn't bear the thought of his eight year old daughter hanging around the thirteen year old prince. He knew Aegon was some kind of pervert, and he did not wanted that boy near his little girl.
Daemon never lost his temper with his kids.
He feared that someday they would be scared of him.
But he knew how to lecture his children.
"Your sister told me you don't let her play with you and Rhaenyra's boys. Mind tell me why's that?"
"She's a girl! She could be playing with Helaena, why do I have to play with her?" Rhaegon rolled his eyes.
"Because she is your sis– Did you just roll your eyes at me?" Daemon stared at his son with a menacing gaze that immediately made the boy shake.
"N-no...?"
"I think you did. I think you rolled your eyes at me, Rhaegon." Daemon gave one step ahead, and his giant form towered the boy's body.
"I'm sorry, father. I'll ask Alyssa to play with Jace, Luke and me."
"You better, boy." Daemon said with a stern voice before leaving the room.
You tried not to interfere in Daemon's way of scolding the kids, but if you thought he was being too much, then you would say something.
Sometimes he would make the children eat alone in their chambers if they'd misbehave.
Sometimes he would make them do chores.
Sometimes he would just ground them in their rooms.
But he never, ever, raised his hand to touch one of his children.
Daemon had killed so many men in battle, but had never hurt a child in his whole life. He intended to stay that way.
Daemon Targaryen could be many terrible things, but he certainly was not a bad father.
He would rather die before hurting one of his children.
And when Maegon was born, he couldn't wait to go through the beginning of parenting all over again.

Sons of Feanor | Having A S/O Who Can Foresee
Headcanons: Maedhros, Maglor, Caranthir and Celegorm
Request: The gates of heaven is open guys let's goooo! Can I ask for a headcanon with Maedhros, Maglor, Caranthir and Celegorm with a s/o that can often guess random things that's gonna happen? Like they're going about their day and reader just goes like "I have a feeling that 'insert random thing' is gonna happen today" and later on that thing happens; I often can predict things to the extent some of my close friends called me a seer, bc I can guess random stuff that I couldn't possibly know but yeah (secretly I'm just Sauron in disguise, I see everything but they dont need to know) Thank you Mina ♡♡ -👻 anon
Warnings: characters death
A/N: Another chance for me to write more pain and suffering. It just felt necessary to be extra :) This started off so light and then grew dark smh.
Maedhros
⊰ It was always a natural habit that both you and Maedhros had developed as you were courting, all the way into marriage – telling each other “Be safe!”
⊰ But for some reason today was different, you just knew from the reoccurring dreams with him for more than a week, something wasn’t right.
⊰ Telling him to “Be careful on the road today and try not to take any shortcuts, please” would make your husband stop in his tracks. A questioning frown marring his face, because ‘where did the extra come from?”
⊰ It wouldn’t be until he met the accident on the road and decided to take a shortcut because he was impatient and didn’t feel like waiting for assistance. Riding through the forest, he would be ambushed by a bunch of orcs in hiding.
⊰ Escaping with just a few injuries and a large cut to his forearm, he wouldn’t hesitate to retreat and return home to you.
⊰ Seeing him injured, the first thing you asked was “You took the shortcut, didn’t you?” the look of foreign shock Maedhros would give caused you to reveal how you just knew.
⊰ “Growing up, at times whenever I was dreaming, I’d sometimes get these sightings of events from the future happening, but they’d always be in parables. I learned how to read them eventually – rarely they come straightforward, but only when it chose to.”
⊰ Maedhros would give you a big apology for not heeding your warnings earlier because you were literally trying to save his life without him being aware.
⊰ From then on, whenever you dreamt something and informed him, he’d always take your visions into account even if it wasn’t meant for him.
⊰ In the end, he’s amazed at your foresight since he wasn’t aware of mortals being gifted with what he considered an ‘elven gift’.
Maglor
⊰ For weeks your dream about Maglor’s been plaguing your mind and you were constantly on the edge believing that at any moment now, something would happen to him since the dream didn’t show when.
⊰ But tonight was his big performance for the newest pieces he’d been working on for months and your nerves were kicking brass the entire day. You knew it was today.
⊰ Watching as he dressed in his finest wear, you leaned against the doorframe and spoke shakily, “Will be careful tonight?” which got his attention because it didn’t sound normal.
⊰ He’d be out of his seat and towering above you with worry and concern written across his face. “Melda, what is it? What has you so fearful, please tell me?”
⊰ The thought of him being hurt would cause you to break down and reveal your dream. “I had a reoccurring dream about you being killed and it felt so real that I believe it might really happen…tonight. I don’t want to lose you Makalaure. Please tell me that you’d be extra safe?”
⊰ Maglor would be lost for words and seeing you in this state would push him into staying home with you last minute. He hated how distressed you appeared for his life.
⊰ During his attempt at calming you, he’d sneak in the question about what made you believe your dream, not in a demeaning way, but concerned.
⊰ Here he would learn about your gift, “Sometimes when I dream things, they tend to happen but not in the exact manner all the time. I have to read them and their meanings to know what it’s trying to tell me – not all my dreams mean something, some are just nonsense.”
⊰ The next day, Maglor would learn from his brothers that one of the performers was mistaken for him and was attacked, that would make you ability kick Maglor in the head and cause him to be grateful for your prophetic visions.
⊰ Maglor would very much understand your emotions and for this reason, he wouldn’t hesitate to believe anything you revealed a vision to him. Like his brother, he too would be baffled by your ability as a mortal to foresee as an elf does.
Celegorm
⊰ You were a mortal who escaped the prisons of Angband during Dagor Bragollach. As they raided your village, they were also capturing people to build their army of orcs. Successful you were with escaping and running into the arms of the Feanorian, Celegorm.
⊰ At first, he wasn’t too keen on helping you at all, but then he learned of where you came from and believed that through you, he could learn an entrance into Angband to strike.
⊰ Overtime, you didn’t reveal to him that one of your reasons for being kept was due to your gift – foresight. The dark lord used and forced you to predict the outcome of his future in the war.
⊰ One day while you were in your room, the moment Celegorm burst through the doors was the same moment you saw your first vision since your captivity. It was him and his brother and another one, purchasing tickets to board a boat. They had given the tickets to the ferryman and were already boarding the ship.
⊰ You knew what that vision meant, there was no other way to read the vision. He and his brothers had booked their one-way ticket to death – there was no coming back.
⊰ It pained you to see this because in the weeks that went by, he treated you kind and in some ways, you grew attached to him. He would bring his dog around to cheer you up and sometimes if in a good mood, would teach you the basics of the forest and hunting.
⊰ Celegorm seeing your state of shock and hearing the gasp would rush over inspecting the room for any intruders as he approached you. When he kneeled before you, he saw the tears and demanded to know the reason behind them.
⊰ I can see Celegorm scoffing since he believed himself to be invincible and death would never touch him as well as elves only being the ones gifted with foresight. It would pain you to know that he didn’t believe you and only to learn on his own time.
⊰ It wasn’t until he watched as his brothers died one by one during the Sacking of Doriath, he would remember your vision and how you warned him so he could avoid his death, but Celegorm wasn’t going to leave his brothers alone – he would welcome death with open arms.
Caranthir
⊰ All your years, you’ve been always giving Caranthir advice based on your foresight without him having the slightest clue but would propose your ideas from a very academic standpoint to get him to agree.
⊰ From simpler ones like, ‘Be careful out there’ or ‘I don’t think you should sign the contract with those elves’, he would listen to you, but he never knew the full extent of your gift.
⊰ It wouldn’t be until the Sacking of Doriath was rolling around and his brothers were riling Maedhros up in the request of retrieving the silmarils. You would have thought that the King would have returned it, but instead, he refused.
⊰ For weeks they were plotting and devising the best way in and around them, just a week before, you would be hit with the most straightforward dream. He was walking alongside his father and younger brother, Amrod, into a burial ground. You were attempting to call him, but he ignored your calls and continued walking.
⊰ Drenched in sweat, you would fly out of your bed and rush to inform him about not going along because he’d die. Caranthir would question you on if you had gone crazy, only for you to reveal that you had seen him dead should he embark on the attack.
⊰ But just like you dream, Caranthir would ignore your warnings because the oath was calling, he had no choice but to answer. You would beg and plead with him for days all the way until he was departing in hopes of not losing him.
⊰ When he suffered the first strike that brought him down and left to bleed out, all your warnings would emanate in his head. He wouldn’t help but curse at how stupid he was for not believing and listening to you.
⊰ You on his mind would be the last thing he dies with – how sorry he was for causing you pain. You, after all, had to witness his death twice.

Johnny tried to shift a little, but the dull, paralyzing pain in his side prevented him from moving an inch. He groaned and laid back down, tilting his head to look at Pietro. Despite the situation, he snorted, shaking his head. “You couldn’t move on from me that quick,” he teased, looking up at the other man for a moment. Johnny held his gaze for probably a second too long, what Pietro was saying registering with him. He eventually shook his head and said, “Stop. It wasn’t you. You weren’t noticeable. I was just joking.” Johnny looked around the room, gesturing to where his things were so Pietro would give him his phone. “I need to tell Sue I’m fine and if half our family or, God forbid, our grandmother ends up in this hospital room, I’ll make myself go into a coma on purpose -- I’m kidding,” Johnny added, raising a hand in defense. “I won’t do it again. I’m not even sure how the guy caught up to me. But I did figure out I apparently can’t feel pain when the flames are on, so I’m not sure if that’s a good or bad thing.” He paused, eyes flicking up again to meet Pietro’s. The weight of the day was finally starting to sink in, now that the adrenaline, and whatever medicine they’d pumped into him, was starting to wear off. “Thank you for staying,” he said, seriously, his expression falling to a more gentler one. “i’m sorry I scared you.”
Pietro saw him try to move, saw the flash of pain, and almost immediately ran for a nurse. He managed to hold himself back for now, but he leaned forward, adjusted the pillows around Johnny's head to help him sit up easier. "Who are you again? I feel like it began with a K," he quipped. On a normal day, he would've paired a remark like that with a withering look, but today he couldn't quite manage it. Their eyes met and lingered too long, and it made his heart thud in his chest. Pietro tore his eyes away, stared up at the monitors surrounding them, the steady beeping and thrumming of the machines. It reminded him of Hydra's lab, though the machines were far newer. He knew logically they were helping, not causing pain, but still he had to swallow down the urge to push the machines away from his friend. "They got the jump on us somehow," was all he said eventually, looking back to Johnny. He zipped over, grabbed the phone and zipped back, pressing it into Johnny's hands before he'd even finished gesturing. "I've been giving her updates. I know how sisters can be," he said, shrugging a shoulder. He rolled his eyes at the next remark. "Well, as long as we learned something," he muttered.
He felt suddenly awkward, didn't know where to put his limbs or what to do, what to say. He never felt this way, he was always -- but today had unbalanced him. Unsettled him, shook something loose inside his chest that he thought he'd tamped down a long time ago. Fear. And it was all too obvious, because Johnny spoke it into existence moments later. Pietro swallowed before he could stop himself and zipped off towards the sink. Filling a cup with water, with the added benefit of facing away from Johnny. "Shut up. Don't thank me, that's lame," he murmured. He took a minute, watched the water stream down the drain for a moment before turning back around. Bringing it to Johnny and standing by his side. "And you don't have to apologize. дурак. I'm the one with superspeed, I should've seen it coming. I thought --" He stopped, throat closing around the words, jaw clenched tight. I thought I was going to lose you. Pietro couldn't say it, he sat down on the edge of the bed and looked forward. "I'm gonna stay with you for a few days. Make sure you don't tear your stitches open like a dumbass."

My Worst Fear

Notes: EDITED AND UPDATED 8/22. My very first fic
Last night you gave me a kiss, You didn't know it, but I was awake when you did, You were quiet, you were gonna let me sleep, So I just laid there pretending to be, You said some things you didn't know I could hear, And the words "I love you" never sounded so sincere.
He could feel her move against him. She shifted slightly, pushing away from his chest. He knew she was checking to see if he was really asleep. He wasn't but he kept his eyes closed pretending to be. She leaned up further a brushed her lips against his before she leaned back down pushing her face into the crook of his neck smiling into his skin. 'I love you,' she muttered. She turned and sighed, adjusting herself before she drifted off to sleep. His chest tightened, that was the first time she'd ever said that to him and it had him like a ton of bricks. He had never intended to get in this deep.
It's gonna make it hard to tell you that I'm leaving, Now that I know just how much you care, You finally gave me one good reason not to go, But staying here is my worst fear.
He was working on a case in North Carolina and he'd met her in a bar. She wasn't the type of girl he'd usually go for, she hadn't been interested in him at all at first. The bar had been quiet that night, it hadn't been what he was looking for after a tough day. A full moon had passed and he'd missed his chance to track down the werewolf he'd been looking for all week. Which meant he'd have to stay in town and get a job for another whole month so he could finish the case. So he was tired, grumpy and looking for some fun at the end of a disappointing week. That was when he had spotted her, well her friend, Danni. Danni was a tall, dyed blonde with big boobs and a short dress, so naturally, his eyes had drifted to her. He'd walked up and used a cheesy pick-up line which had Danni smiling like an idiot but her friend hadn't seemed to notice him at all.
That bothered him.
He'd sat down with them, bought drinks and flirted keeping the conversation going. Danni was eager but her friend wasn't interested in what was going on at all, he'd tried to bring her into the conversation but she'd kept her answers short and continued to keep him at bay. Eventually, Danni had become bored with him, it was because he wasn't really paying attention to her he guessed and had made an excuse to leave, eventually going to flirt with the bartender. It was only then had he finally learned Danni's friend's name.
Gabriella.
Once Danni had left she had seemed more at ease. He found it easier to talk to her and the conversation had started to flow. It was early in the morning after the crowd had filtered out before they decided to leave. They had stood outside the bar awkwardly.'Well goodbye then,' Dean grunted, shifting on his feet not knowing what to say.'Yeah goodbye,' she replied, blushing, before turning swiftly around and heading for her car. Dean barely thought before he shouted after her. She turned to stop waiting for him to get to where she was. He jogged up to her. They were now standing right next to her car.'What's wrong?''Well, nothing,' Dean stuttered, 'I was just wondering if I could have your number? If you want to. You don't have to I mean-'
He was rambling and she wasn't stopping him, when he eventually went quiet she spoke.'Are you done?' she joked and he blushed looking at the floor, 'yeah you can have my number, do you have a pen? Or you can give me your phone and I'll put it in directly.'
He handed her his phone and waited whilst she placed her number in before handing it back to him, 'bye.'
She grinned before getting in her car and driving away, leaving Dean standing there watching.
It had gone from there. They had met up the next day and almost every day after that together. He had gotten a job in town whilst simultaneously working the case and they spent their evenings and weekends together. It had been the best month of his life. But I would have to end, no matter how much he wanted to stay. He'd finish the case and his Dad had already given him some hints about some other jobs.
Dean woke up. He lay in bed. Alone. He had thought of their time together, including what she had said last night, whilst trying to figure out what he was going to tell her about leaving. He had no idea how to even start but he had to. No matter how much he wanted to stay, he couldn't. Dad needed him, especially after what had happened with Sam. He stretched, sitting up. He looked around at the bed. She wasn't there. He got up and left the room, shouting for her. The shabby apartment he'd rented whilst being here was small and it only took him a minute to realise she wasn't there. Dean was confused, he knew she didn't have work until later and she wouldn't have left without telling him. That was when he noticed the note resting on the coffee table. He picked it up, opening it tentatively. The only thing written was 'Just leave x'
This morning I rolled out of bed, Recalling all the sweet things you said, This was the day I was gonna hurt you bad, Called out your name, but you didn't answer back, I searched the house to find out what was wrong, Like a ton of bricks, it hit me you were gone.
She knew he was going to leave so she'd left him. He was alone.
All along I knew that there was something missing, And only one thing left to do, I had to leave behind this life that we'd been living, But the only thing that left was you,
It's gonna make it hard to tell you that I'm leaving, Now that I know just how much you care, You finally gave me one good reason not to go, But being alone is my worst fear.

forbidden | draco malfoy
pairing: draco x slytherin!reader
word count: 3,6k
summary: where y/n and draco have to endure a very special type of detention
a/n: welcome to my first ever one shot. i hope you enjoy it! please let me know if there are any mistakes.
warnings: none
universe: harry potter
Honestly you weren't really surprised that Professor Snape gave Draco, Harry and Ron detention for nearly blowing up the whole potions classroom when fighting over the ground unicorn horn, an important ingredient for The Antidote to Common Poisons.
But what you weren't expecting was that Snape gave you detention as well, just because you sat in the center of it. Any attempt to convince him otherwise was useless.
And now here you were, in front of Hagrid's hut, the moon shining bright, the only light coming from the hut and your dim lanterns. You'd rather be in any other place you can think of. Everywhere except here. The sooner it ends, the better.
Yet the three idiots next to you still yelled at each other for what already feels like hours. Not even Filch nor Mrs Norris, who escorted you here after curfew, could bear their stupidity any longer, so Mr Filch knocks against Hagrid's door and runs off with a malicious giggle, but not before wishing y'all good luck, of course. You, for your part, could really need it.
"Can't believe I have to spend detention with you again, Potter", Draco spat, his voice full of disgust. The whole day he'd told you about how Harry and him already had detention in their first year at Hogwarts. That time they were lead into the Forbidden Forest and since you are now at Hagrid's hut in the middle of the night, you can already imagine exactly what your detention consists of this time.
Goosebumps spread all over your skin when you only think of the Dark Forest. Yes, you were sorted into Slytherin but that doesn't mean that you can't be afraid. You were, in fact, scared of many things but going into the Forbidden Forest was definetely very high on that list.
Draco noticed your change of behavior while listening to his story of his 11 year old brave self and suddenly had fun frightening you. Not that you were already scared enough of only the thought to go into that damned forest.
Even though he promised to protect you all the way, you were sure that when they were in first year Draco was the first to run and leave the others for death. But he would never admit that and maybe, just maybe, he actually grew up a little bit since then.
You've actually known him since you can remember. Your families, both pureblood, are very close, they even went to Hogwarts together in their time, which let to you and Draco being childhood friends. So when you went to Hogwarts yourself, you were happy to have your best friend by your side and when you got sorted into the same house, Slytherin, you couldn't have been any happier.
Eventually these long years of friendship turned into something more in your fourth year. (Maybe already earlier, you weren't quite sure.) Neither of you wanted to admit it at first but you were meant to be. Anyone could see it from a far. Everyone shipped you since first year and now, in sixth year, you are a happy couple for nearly three years with just a few minor disagreements here and there.
"Ah. The usual suspects", Hagrid mumbles as soon as he spots you after opening the heavy door, Fang, his over-sized Boarhound dog, directly running in Harry's direction. "I don't know why I thought it would be someone else. Feels just like yesterday that we went into the Forbidden Forest, right?"
Hagrid's mention of the Forbidden Forest makes shivers run down your spine right away. This reaction of your body didn't go unnoticed though and you feel the warmth of Draco's body as he scoots closer to you.
Despite Draco's cold demeanor outward, he has a very pleasent warm body temperature. You found out about this feature when you started becoming 'more than just friends' over the years. And now it is hard to imagine life without this warmth.
"I thought getting into sixth year would finally safe us these kind of detentions", Ron whines which Hagrid only response to with a laugh. "No matter what year you are in, Ron, there is nothing more beautiful like an adventurous walk through the forest in the middle of the night. Trust me", Hagrid smiles proudly. "What do we have to do this time?", Harry asks, also not very fond of the idea to go into that forest again.
Even though you were friends with Draco for so long, you actually liked the golden trio. You don't have much to do with them, only a few courses together, but you don't hate them at all. In your opinion they are actually very kind, which Draco, obviously, doesn't approve of.
"Not much, in fact. A creature was hurt last night and I really don't know which one it is. All we have to do is to find the injured creature", Hagrid explains while taking a huge crossbow, leading you right to the entrance of the forest. "Not very challenging, is it?"
"But you do know that there are werwolves in there, don't you? Besides all the other.. dangerous animals that thirst for our blood", Ron complains, while Draco seems to have laid eyes on the crossbow.
"What weapon do we get to defend ourselves?", he interupts Ron's expressed thoughts and points to the weapon, which Hagrid answers to with a sigh.
"You're a wizard. I don't think you need any other weapon than your wand, Malfoy", Hagrid scoffs and goes past him. "Now. Since I'm able to learn from my mistakes, not like others..", he mumbles the last part. "Harry and Ron, you will go this way. Draco and Y/N take the other direction. Please make sure to not hurt anyone or anything."
"A-Anything?", is the last word you hear Ron mumble as you started walking in the different direction. Or more like Draco pulling you behind him into the Dark Forest.
You tighten your black cloak around yourself as you shiver. The Forbidden Forest seems to be even scarier in the night. Even scarier than you expected it to be in general. The only sounds you can hear are your footsteps on the mud, caused by the rainy weather these days, and here and there something that sounds like a very aggressive raven.
"Snape should have just deducted our houses points and not let us go into this dumb forest again", Draco mumbles in front of you while leading the way, not really knowing where to search either. The dim warm light of the lantern he holds up makes his hair shine bright and is the only thing that makes you feel at ease a little bit. Something familiar.
A sudden crack behind you, sounding like a branch that has been stepped on, makes you stop in your tracks abruptly. "What was that, Draco?", you ask, the fear in your shaking voice clearly audible.
"Don't worry about it, love. I'm sure it was just a stupid animal. Let's go on", your boyfriend responds and takes your cold hand in his again.
As you kept going through the tall trees for a few minutes you realize that you've gotten very far into the Forbidden Forest already. All you can see now are trees and not even the moon shines through the dense leaves over your heads anymore. The thick layer of fog around you doesn't make the weird feeling in your stomach better either.
Draco keeps strolling around, searching for any evidence for an injured creature and you turn around, still feeling anxious of someone - or something - following you two.
Your heart stops as the lantern, that Draco held up seconds ago, falls to the ground with a loud crash. Your whole vision goes black and darkness surrounds you. A few bats, startled by the noise, fly away.
"Draco?!", you shout and don't dare to move a single muscle. Your breath is so slow, you don't even know if you're still breathing at all. Another sound is heard from your right and you turn around, only to face more darkness.
"Draco Lucius Malfoy! This is not funny at all! Do you hear me?!", you yell again while getting your wand out of your pocket. Pointing it forward, you quietly say: "Lumos."
As soon as the light erupts from the tip of your wand, blinding you for a brief moment, a white, light-lit face appears right in front of you.
"BOO!", the face shouts directly at you.
You let out a scream, stumble back a few steps in shock and rest your hand against your fast beating heart. The next thing you hear are the echoing laughters of your boyfriend.
"You should've seen your face!", Draco laughs and throws his head back. You swallow heavily and take a few moments to calm yourself down, a tear on the edge of falling. "I hate you so much!", you yell at him and hit his shoulder a few times as anger replaces your fear. "You know exactly how scared I am, dumbass!"
"I could not not take this opportunity, love", he giggles, making the blood in your veins boil. But before you can scold him any further, he stops laughing all of a sudden and his suddenly widend eyes are locked on a point directly behind you. "Y/N.. Don't turn around, okay? Don't move", he whispers and points behind you with a slight head movement.
"I'm not that pathetic, Draco. I'm not gonna fall for that again", you roll your eyes and cross your arms over your chest while turning around. As soon as you did, it feels like all life left your body at once.
Two round yellow eyes, emerging from the sinister undergrowth, are directly fixed on you. A small cone of moonlight falls through the rustling leaves as a slight breeze passes and the creature in front of you turns out to be a werewolf.
Your breath gets caught in your throat as the wild creature comes closer, snarling. "RUN, Y/N!", Draco's loud shout makes you flinch and he grabs your hand, knowing that it is too late to not make any noise, pulling you closely behind him. You nearly stumble over all the sticking out, large roots on the ground but the adrenaline that rushes through your body makes you run as fast as you can.
"Stupefy!", Draco casts the Stunning Spell and shoots it at the creature while running. A jet of red light emerges from his wand but misses the werewolf by a few centimeters. It is now catching up with you even faster than before. "Damn it!", Draco curses.
Your legs already start hurting from how fast you were running. You see a dim light between the trees in front of you and a glimmer of hope runs through you. As you get closer by every second you realize that it's not Hagrid, as you hoped, but none other than Ron and Harry. The confusion is clearly written on their faces.
"RUN!", you tell them, grabbing their hands as you pass them to pull both of them with you. It doesn't take them long to realize what you were running away from.
"Bloody hell!", Ron whimpers beside you and lets the lantern fall to the ground. By now the four of you lost every sense of direction and the only thing that keeps you from giving up is to not get torn into pieces.
Again you take a look back over your shoulder to see how close the wolf has come and in this exact moment of unwariness, you trip over and fall to the ground with a cry. Immediately you try to straighten up but a sharp pain runs through your body and leaves you whimpering in pain.
"Stupefy!", Harry now attacks the beast and actually hits it this time. The wolf falls back a few meters through the air and lands on the ground with a thump, motionless.
"Y/N! Stand up, come on!", Draco helps you up and notices your pained expression. From that moment on your fear is reflected in his eyes. He bends down and frantically picks you up in his arms. Unfortunately, the werewolf has recovered from the spell quickly and is running towards you again, growling and barking dangerously.
But before you can escape this time, another creature that you can't really make out because of the darkness at first, suddenly throws itself on the wolf, fighting a bitter fight with it. You can only stand there and watch in shock.
"Buckbeak!", you can hear Hagrid's voice from the distance and the majestic hippogriff lets go of the much smaller animal, which is now also winzing in pain and then finally leaves you alone.
"What did you do?! How did this happen?", Hagrid scolds you as soon as he arrives, his eyes fixed on Draco immediately. You bite your lower lip to hold back tears as you let yourself sink down from Draco's arms and onto the ground with his help.
"The werewolf attacked us out of nowhere", you explain with a quiet voice and touch your ankle, regretting it right away as you hiss in pain. "It was noone's fault, Hagrid."
"This is exactly the reason why students shouldn't go into the Forbidden Forest, you-", Draco aggressivly starts but you pull on his sleeve, making him look at you. His facial expression softens at your action.
Buckbeak stands close behind Hagrid and observes the situation curiously. Hagrid sighs loudly, his breath becoming visible in the cold air of the night, and pets Buckbeak gently.
"Fine. Let's get you out of here first and then we will look at the damage", Hagrid suggests and Draco and Harry help you stand up again. "I c-can't walk", you hiss after placing your injured foot on the ground, withdrawing it straight away.
"Come here, Y/N. Buckbeak will help", Hagrid waves you over to him and before any second thoughts could cross your mind, you were already seated on the hippogriff's back. While you're still busy with getting comfortable on the creature you unexpectedly feel a pair of hands sneak around your waist closly from behind. Draco had jumped onto Buckbeak as well, with Hagrid's permission of course, and whispers an apology in your ear.
Finally you are able to relax a little while you feel Draco's chest against your back. A cozy warmth emanates from him that has always made you feel at ease and the cold air surrounding you makes it even more comfortable.
With a whistle from Hagrid Buckbeak sets itself in motion and leads you out of the forest, directly back to Hagrid's hut. You had completely lost every sense of time while you were in there. While to you it seems like several hours have passed, it was probably just one.
Draco jumps off in front of the hut and helps you get down, his grip very strong on your hip. You gently stroke over the soft head of the hippogriff and smile weakly at it.
Draco doesn't waste any time and takes you to the warm hut, where he seats you down on one of the chairs and carefully places your leg on his thigh. While watching your boyfriend take care of you so caringly and gently - a side not everyone knows of him - you don't even notice that a few tears finally found their way over your cheeks, which you were able to hold back before. Everything that happened tonight hits you all at once in this moment.
Eventually, Draco's gaze meets yours and he immediately pulls you into a warm, firm and loving hug. "I am so so sorry, love. I shouldn't have scared you. If I hadn't been this stupid, then we wouldn-", he stumbles over his words but you place your index finger on his lips softly. "I'm okay, Draco", you smile at him, even though your ankle doesn't feel anywhere near okay.
"I told Madam Pomfrey what happened and she will be able to heal it quickly, and even though she wasn't very happy that I asked for her help at this hour, she would like to see you at the Hospital Wing", Hagrid tells you as he comes back into his hut, Ron and Harry curiously looking past Hagrid and at you. The guilt is clearly written on Hagrid's face.
"I'm sorry I couldn't help but somehow I just couldn't come up with the right spell!", Ron rants while he and Harry approach you. "How about we help you get into that hospital wing?", Harry offers their help with a smile, which you gladly agree to. Draco on the other hand throws a disapproving look at him, his protective boyfriend instincts very active after what happened today.
Still, he lets Harry help him get you out. Your arms are each wrapped around their shoulders so that you can at least hobble and not have to be carried.
"I will talk to Professor Dumbledore about getting rid of these kind of detentions", Hagrid utters, looking to the ground in shame. Buckbeak senses Hagrid's sadness and lays his head on his arm. Releasing your arm from Draco purposely to tap Hagrid's shoulder soothingly, Draco holds you tightly at your waist in an instant, still afraid that you could lose balance any second and fall again.
"Please don't worry, Hagrid. It's not your fault", you try to cheer him up. "Thank you and also you, Buckbeak." At the mention of his name, Buckbeak turns to you and it almost looks like he actually understood what you said, lowering his head a little as if he would bow.
"I hate to admit it but I guess I have to thank that.. chicken of yours as well, Hagrid", Draco clears his throat. "Thank you for rescuing us."
You know exactly how difficult it is for Draco to thank someone. He rarely does, only because he never really learned how. However, the few times he actually does, you can't help but feel warmer inside. This is what distinguishs him from the evil guys.
With these last words and a nod from Hagrid's side, Draco leads the way into the building and they help you to the first floor, Ron opening the doors for you. You arrive at the Hospital Wing, where Harry and Ron seperate from you and go back to their common room.
Madam Pomfrey treats your sprained ankle and only half an hour later you are dismissed from the Hospital Wing. It feels like you've never hurt yourself in the first place, but Madam Pomfrey still wants you to rest and take care of yourself. Your boyfriend clearly agreed to that and insisted on carrying you back to the Slytherin common room, where you arrived only seconds ago.
It is already so late in the night that not a single soul is in the faint green room, everyone fast asleep for hours in their comfortable beds. You feel exhausted after this eventful night and tiredness is slowly overcoming you.
"Where do you think you are going?", Draco's determining voice asks you with a hint of reproach when you were just about to make your way to the girls' dormitories. "To sleep?", you deadpenned.
"You won't go anywhere except my prefect room. Oh, and you will most certainly not go", he commands and before you know it, you're in his strong arms again and on the way to his room. If the way wasn't so short though, you could have fallen asleep right there in his arms, your cheek on his shoulder and one hand against his warm chest.
Despite telling him that you are fine for the tenth time now, he still insists on taking care of you. He borrows you your favorite sweater of his - although you don't quite understand how it found its way back into his closet because the last time you checked it has been in your room - and softly puts you to bed under the thick dark green covers out of silk.
What you don't know, however, is how much he actually blames himself for what happend tonight. He feels guilty because it should have hit him and not you. After all, he accidentally lured the werewolf into your direction by frightening you. He knew you were scared, you told him before. Nevertheless he thought it was funny to scare you. And now you got hurt because of him.
He climbs in beside you and pulls you closely to him, your arm wrapped over his waist and your head on his chest. He gently runs his fingertips over your delicate skin and through your hair. You feel his steady heartbeat beneath you, softly inhale his scent and close your eyes.
"I love you so much, Y/N. I'm sorry for everything", Draco whispers barely audible and places a kiss on your forehead, then another one on your temple. "I love you too, Draco", you absently smile and put your hand on his jaw, lift your head slightly and then give him a kiss on his chapped lips. "And please stop apologizing, alright? It was not your fault."
You can clearly see that he thinks about whether or not to reply but you beat him to it. "Listen. I don't blame you at all. It was a misfortune, nothing more and nothing less. All I need is your company right now. I need you by my side, Draco. Always", you explain and give him a genuine smile in hopes to make him feel better and to finally stop blaming himself.
He replies with an equally genuine smile and gives you one last kiss before he pulls you even closer, as if he's scared of losing you. Still, after your kind words, he actually feels better now and he smiles to himself when noticing your quiet snoring.
And that night Draco definetely made sure you wouldn't have any nightmares at all.

BUFFY REWATCH - S05E22 - The Gift
*Magic shop main room. Willow sits at the table reading books while Tara naps behind her. Buffy walks up*
BUFFY: “Will, what do you got for me?”
WILLOW: “Some ideas.
*Buffy goes to sit on the stairs leading up to the loft*
Well, notions. Or, theories based on wild speculation. Did I mention I'm not good under pressure?”
BUFFY: “I need you, Will. You're my BIG GUN.”
WILLOW:
*Alarmed*
“I'm your - no, I-I was never a gun. Someone else should be the gun. I, I could be a, a cudgel. Or, or a pointy stick.”
BUFFY: “You're the strongest person here. You know that, right?”
WILLOW:
*Frowns*
“No.”
BUFFY: “Will, you're the only person that's ever hurt Glory. At all. You're my best shot at getting her on the ropes, so don't get a jelly belly on me now.”
WILLOW: “Well... I, I... do sort of have this one idea. But, last few days, I've mostly been looking into ways to help Tara. I-I know that shouldn't be my priority...”
*Buffy leans over and puts her hand on Willow's knee*
BUFFY: “Of course it should.”
*Willow smiles gratefully. Buffy leans back*
WILLOW: “Well, I've been charting their essences. Mapping out. I think... if I can get close enough, I may be able to reverse what Glory did. Like, take back what she took from Tara. It might weaken Glory, or... make her less coherent. Or it might make all our heads explode.”
GILES (voice over): “Buffy.”
*Buffy looks up. Across the room we see Giles, Xander, and Anya gathered around something*
WILLOW: “I'll try to work it.”
*Buffy gets up and walks away, putting her hand briefly on Willow's shoulder as she passes. Willow gets up and goes to crouch beside Tara's chair*
WILLOW: “Don't worry, love. It won't be long.”
*Tara slaps her hard across the face*
TARA:
*Angrily*
“Bitch! I'm supposed to work on the factors!
*Willow just looks at her sadly. The anger passes and Tara becomes anxious*
I'm, I'm not... I'm not... “
*Tara puts her hand gently on Willow's cheek and begins to cry. Willow looks at her with tears in her eyes as well*
WILLOW: “I'm gonna bring you back.”
With Buffy back, the Gang begin to work out a plan on how to save Dawn and stop Glory. Buffy is relying on Willow for success the most but Willow is in self-doubt mode and freaks out when Buffy calls her her ‘BIG GUN’. Despite everything Willow can do (that is so much more than anyone else in the Gang), she still doesn’t believe in herself and thinks someone else is better skilled and equipped to be the ‘BIG GUN’. Yet, we all know she’d instinctively take that role if Buffy wasn’t around to tell her to take it anyway. And I find it so ironic that she says that she’s not good under pressure because, to my observation, that’s exactly when she is good at what she does. So what’s the problem then? No problem. Once again, it is all in her head that she can’t do what she can do. It’s nothing but insecurity. And she doesn’t have time to worry about insecurity when she’s the only competent one around to do anything at all. That’s it.
When Buffy’s there, she crawls in a hole to hide. The Slayer will take care of everything. What does she need to be around for?
When Buffy’s not there, she faces her fears. She’s forced to do so because if it can’t be Buffy, it has to be her to make up for the loss of no Slayer.
This proves that the insecurities she has are based on a lack of self-worth. Little belief in herself. What is she compared to the Slayer? Who is she?
Now anyone observing what’s going on can clearly tell that they’re matched. They’re levelled. They are effectively each other’s yin and yang. Either as enemies or allies. It doesn’t matter. They’re in it together and no one else comes close to their strength and power either as individuals opposing each other or as a team fighting the good fight. There is such a dynamic between Buffy and Willow in the sense that they’re both human and both have human anxieties.
A callback to Willow’s dream in ‘Restless’:
TARA: “They will find out, you know. About you.”
WILLOW: “Don't have time to think about that. You know I have all this homework to finish.”
The way I interpret this little piece of dialogue in context with this episode?
Keep the girl busy, there’s no issue. No insecurity. No lack of self-worth.
Allow her the time to overthink,... and she’s suddenly a cowering mess.
Insecurity can be absolutely crippling to the human mind. But if one is forced to walk the tightrope, then looking down isn’t an option. Only moving forward. And if you keep doing just that... you eventually get to the other side without casualty. And it is okay to rely on the people around you for help every once in awhile. There’s no weakness in it. You don’t have to walk that thin scary line alone. And I think both Buffy and Willow have that mindset. That solitariness is strength. That walking alone is power. But if there’s anything I’ve learned about human living, it’s that we’re so much stronger and more powerful when working together as unit. So it is more than okay to take from the energy of each other if need be. This show really teaches me a lot and I’m very grateful for the lessons imbedded within the writing of the character arcs and the overall contrasting themes of choice VS destiny, man VS monster, woman VS Slayer. It’s a really good time.
Going forward into Season 6, we will start to see these human anxieties of Willow’s break down when Willow is forced not to walk alone but take lead of a group of people who are essentially lost and aimless without her leading them. Where she leads them exactly is a whole other question and subject to analyze. That’s what I will address as best i can with my episode recaps for Season 6.

Oh they are gonna have a logic battle or a battle of the brains. Exactly you are both vision now kith.
Who will this new vision be? Not quite how I expected it to happen with an awakening but yay, the rebirth of vision!
But, will he stay alive at the end of this? This new vision not Wanda's remade husband.
Let's go red wiggly woos and nightmares. Destroy you with your worst fears or your regrets.
Dammit.
A witchhunt really?
No wanda not like this. Agatha is a liar and has shown that why would you trust her?
We all thought vision would die but what if it's Wanda? Oh no.
Me to Agatha Harkness:
Oh? Did she unknowingly cast another spell?
Ah ha that's why she was hitting the barrier so wanda is a visual learner.
I hope she gets that Darkhold book and reads it.
She is writing her own damn story. I know that's right.
COME ON CROWN
COME THROUGH OUTFIT
Ngl you can see they ran out if cgi budget this episode BUT I love this cute redone style of the comic book outfit. The new ones not the old ones.
Also she doesn't need you, she has a guy named Dr. Strange that she can call.
Awe this is so sweet but I know that this will end. I love that we see her vision and her boys happy all together because we do not get to see that in the comics really like all at the same time.
They are now friends in the comics that share kids, yaknow divorced parents that stay friends but can't make a relationship work.
At least for a couple moments we get a happy power family in house 2800, that get some last sweet beautiful moments.
They will live forever in her heart.....and cough eventually reincarnated cough. Their sound are very real.
I hope she saves that photo at least.
She healed and found out more about herself and who she loved, thats beautiful.
So he's not gonna tell her that he gave her vision the other back?
Awwww they are so in love and marvel doesn't even let them be happy in the comics.
I mean you literally will say hello again his body with his memories is flying outside right now.
Aww vision.
Emo wanda has returned in aesthetic. Starts playing BMTH or PTV
She's like I'm sorry, oh and she said it.
Oooo with the hood and cape on yesss. She is pretty much a rejected member of society and "herodom" now who runs off to discover herself after a really fucked up situation and then a messy engagement similar to comics. Kind of like how Peter is set up to be in the mid credit scene at the end of far from home.
Wanda really said:
Midcredit scene reaction!!
Is Jimmy gonna be director?
Coronet?
Yes a skrull! Talos heard? How? Yay Monica is going to space like she always wanted!!
AN END CREDIT SCENE!!!!!
Thats the lake from the other movie right? Uh all these wait is Thor around? Oh wonderful I love this oh yes give me Wanda educating herself with this book. And she has learned sustained working projections without creating another hex, I love that for her. Two places at once. WE GOING TO THE MULTIVERSE, which i don't think she will be a villain for.
For a finale this was just okay like not great but good enough to pass because after all this is Marvel not Starz or HBO (GOT aside). I understand now why the executive or was it director said this would be a dissapointment. A lot of people had so many theories running but even with my own theories i haven't been conflating them as definites. The only one i did was Monica's scientist and now Pietro being just Ralph revealed. After seeing last weeks episode I just said imma just fully enjoy this last episode and didn't pay mind to many of the new theories.
Anyways I'm not super disappointed this was just an okay finale. So was Legends of Tomorrow's last season finale which I still found some enjoyment in. But, I'm not as excited for Falcon and the Winter Soldier because I can tell from this episode we are going back into movie marvel action with little depth.
I really enjoy the non-officially but official MCU shows like Jessica Jones or Agents of Shield because they often do both. The depth and the action which this show did with a much larger budget. I get there are probably plot holes in this episode for time or filming restriction reasons but still like dang it. Well this has been fun thanks for whoever reads these haha.
