monster food is already different to human food (does not pass through a monster's whole body, does not spoil, etc.)

but then there's also ghost food (like the ghost sandwich blooky offers you). so like I guess there's sub-categories of monster food for different monster types sometimes?

humans are capable of eating some monster foods (Frisk can use consumable items and Chara lived underground for a while so they had to be eating something). but no one other than incorporeal ghosts can eat ghost food (even if they were a ghost but they now have a body)

ghosts might be able to eat other types of monster food (didn't Napstablook have a flier for the spider bake sale? so maybe they can eat that)

just wondering if there are other types of monster food and what sort of properties they might have…

part 3 of ree's leon valentine's day advent

The rain fell in a light drizzle, a soft pitter-patter tapping outside her window. The sky was gray, hazy in the early morning with a thin mist rolling in, dispersing slowly in the cool air.

You reach your arms out and drag your fingers along the glass, the trickle of raindrops slide down the window and you shiver at the sight of rain. You retract your hand to grab the ladle, and hum as you stir the pot that was already bubbling, and you smile.

Unbeknownst to you, there is a rustle in your bed sheets with Leon in a mood because of the fact that he didn't wake up next to you. Leon, juts out his bottom lip slightly in a pout, as he looks at the droplets falling on his window.

Leon groans and sniffs, his footsteps heavy as he exits your shared bedroom only to be greeted by the homey scent of aromatics. He smiles knowing that you must be in the kitchen, he is led on by the scent alone and before you could register Leon's presence a pair of strong arms is wrapped around your waist, dragging you backwards.

"Thought you'd take responsibility and nurse me?"

Leon asks, his voice thick with sleep, and you smile.

"Babe, I am."

You grin as you turn to face him just to watch his expression, but he denies that as Leon dives his face on the crook of your neck. Breathing you in.

"What's that?"

A gentle smile graces your lips as Leon nuzzles you.

"It's chicken congee. Good for colds."

You chuckle a bit as you feel a smile ghosting on Leon's lips.

"Feed me."

He mumbled, his words muffled against your skin as his hands snake underneath your t-shirt—his t-shirt, his calloused hands gripping on your waist.

"I feel cold."

He adds on before wrapping his arms around your bare waist again before he presses a kiss on your neck, on your cheek. This intimacy, the lingering kisses, the tight embrace. Leon had always been clingy, despite his nonchalant act on it, but he couldn't deny how touchy he was.

For Leon, you are his peace. His solace, and for a moment it was just the gentle sound of rain, both of your syncopated breaths, and the soft thrumming of heartbeats. The only music ringing in both your ears.

You smile as you both gaze at each other's loving eyes.

"I'll warm you up."

Leon smiles at your reply, these same words were what he uttered t you during that camping trip when you had clumsily forgotten to bring something warmer, and him being the loving boyfriend that he is, had given you his jacket. Leading to a cold, he couldn't fathom how he, Leon S. Kennedy, top graduate in the Police Academy,  decimated hordes of zombies in his first day as a rookie cop, endured military training in the middle of nowhere.

Not only that, but he saved Ashley Graham, the President's daughter, in the middle of fucking nowhere Spain. He doesn't get a cold that easily, and yet here he is. He doesn't regret it, he likes taking care of you, but there's something adorable about the way you had said the exact same words as him now. Matching his love for you, and to say he's over the moon is an understatement.

Here you are, dragging him back to bed with a bowl of homecooked congee, water and meds as you tuck him in like a baby.

You join him in bed, spoon in hand as you attempt to feed him.

"I'm not a baby. Can feed myself, you know."

Leon scoffs but you narrow his eyes at him and he chuckles.

"Don't give me that look, I thought you were gonna make it up to me."

You frown and he relents, letting you feed him, fuss over him like he would break. The feeling was foreign to the agent, being taken care of.

"I am, so let me."

You reply earnestly and he smiles.

Major Krauser had instilled in him, a man eat man mindset, but there you are devoted in your care for him and he ponders the last time he had ever felt this secure, this peaceful.

With every reluctant bite turning into more willing actions, you smile. Pressing a kiss to Leon's lips and he smiles slyly.

"You're gonna catch it, you know."

You shrug and giggle.

"I do, but I love you and I want to kiss you. Nothing wrong kissing my boyfriend."

You bat your eyelashes playfully at him and he scoffs, but his blue eyes are gentle and only reflect fondness. He gives you another sweet kiss, this time, sweeping his tongue on your upper lip before pulling away.

"Of course there's nothing wrong, I love you too."

In that moment, Leon thinks, in the future he's gonna need to change that boyfriend into husband.

X-MEN OC YAPPING!!!

Here's a small doodle of my X-Men OC! His name is Ryder, he's a mutant, his mutant power is similar to telepathy, but rather for emotions and feelings instead of all aspects of the mind. It's called "Absolute Empathy" I believe! He can sense, manipulate, and project emotions! He cannot read minds, control minds, communicate telepathically, but he can "read your heart" in a way, and influence your emotions using his mind. He can also project his emotions telepathically if he finds them hard to express. continued yapping under the cut !!

This ability can be useful for communicating feelings, but it also causes him great stress. He believes he cannot trust anyone's feelings toward him to be genuine, when people show interest in him, want to be his friend, or have romantic feelings for him, he assumes that it must be his control over his power slipping, and that he is the one influencing these feelings. this leaves him feeling very alone and paranoid about people's "real" intentions or feelings. He doesn't know that he can't actually make people fall in love with him, since love is such a complex array of emotions, but he is always scared that his close friends and loved ones really don't care about him at all. On a more positive note, he can fight with this power if needed. He can stun an enemy by invoking a sense of terror in them, but he can only do this if they don't know how to fight his ability. If you are aware that he is manipulating you, you can remind yourself it's not real and fight back against he emotions he's casting onto you. he's a very sensitive person, and often his empathic ability can make him susceptible to breakdowns.

also I ship him with Logan lalalala Logan's mind and heart are very strong, and not easily broken into, and Ryder is intrigued by this at first, then as Ryder spends more time with logan as a new member of the X-Men, he develops feelings. And Logan does too but at a much slower pace and in a more complex way. since he still loves Jean. I made up a little scene where Logan was having nightmares, and all the feelings Logan was experiencing woke Ryder up from across the mansion, so Ryder went to check in on Logan. He woke Logan up and asked him if he was alright, and of course Logan pushed him away, but Ryder asked if he could help at all. Logan said that he would never be able to understand, or feel what he feels, (he kinda forgot in the moment that Ryder was a superhuman empath) and so Ryder said something like "Then let me in, let me in so I can understand." and then he cups Logan's face in his hands and presses his forehead to his, and then Ryder dives into Logan's mind/heart and feels all he feels and then they share a moment of vulnerability together. After a few minutes Ryder leaves and goes back to bed and so does Logan, BUT AUGGHGHHAGHGHH they make me SICK GRGRGGRGRGRRRGRGR Also obligatory Logan and grumpy Ryder (Old art, my style has changed a lot since then)

– Regardless, Vi and Cait try to be understanding when you come home late because they often do the same without warning.

"And just where the hell were you?" Vi exclaims as you walk through the door. The door creaks behind you as you shut it close. Careful, as if dealing with a ticking time bomb, you set your heavy bag down and slide off your boots. "Work got off late. No big deal." "No big deal?!" the pinkette further exclaims. She steps closer to you her face scrunched up with anger and worry, but her eyes scream relief. Though she was yelling at you over something you can't control, she's relieved to see you home in one piece. "You had Caitlyn worried sick!" From the home office, Caitlyn peeks her head out. Unlike Vi who was still in her gear, she was dressed in casual nightwear. "They had me worried sick? I'm not the one who's yelling," Caitlyn chuckles as she walks over to you two. "Though I'm calmer than our counterpart, I have to agree with Vi. You coming home late is not 'not a big deal'. We were concerned." Apologetic, you give Caitlyn and Vi reassuring pecks. "I'm sorry. I'll be sure to find some way to let you guys know I'll be late." Caitlyn and Vi seem pleased with your apology. You then offer to make dinner, but to your surprise, the two already ate. Vi walks off with a sly, knowing smirk while Caitlyn goes to reheat your food.

– if you thought that reaction was bad, oh boy...

– Just wait till you see their reaction to you coming home late and bruised up... oh wait, that's what you're here for!

– When you come home battered and bruised, this is probably the only time Caitlyn shows she is worried sick.

– not to say she isn't worried any other time, she is, but she knows you're a grown adult who can handle yourself. seeing you bloodied and hurt makes her heartache and all she wants to do is care for your wounds.

– Vi on the other hand? Let's just say that bomb finally blows.

– Vi is seething with anger the moment she sees a black eye or a hefty bruise on your cheek.

– At first, when you come home, she scolds you for not letting them know but when her eyes finally focus on the sight of you being hurt, her jaw tenses and her fists clench.

"Who did this to you?" Vi says through her teeth. Her breathing accelerates, her shoulders rise to her ears. "I'm fine." "That's not what I asked." Already putting on her coat and shoes, Vi steps up to you once more. "Who. Did. This. To. You?"

– If she's taller than you, Vi purposely makes sure you have to crick your neck in some way to see her face. She needs you to know she's serious and not for playing games.

– If she's shorter than you, Vi deepens her voice and widens her silhouette. When she's angry, her voice deepens anyways, but does it, even more, to come off as big and scary. grr.

– Taller or not, her being more dominant is attractive-- but that's not why we're here!

– After the staredown with Vi, Caitlyn comes to the rescue. She gets Vi to calm down then gets you an ice pack.

– After everyone's calm and had a few sips of water, you sit on the couch while holding an ice pack to your bruises. Both Cait and Vi patch you up and they're equally as gentle.

– Neither girl wants to make your injuries hurt worse and if it's serious, they'll take you to the doctor's first thing in the morning if it's closed.

– Both Caitlyn and Vi ask you questions about your injuries. "How badly does it hurt?" "Where else are you feeling pain?" and the infamous question, "Who did this to you?

– If it was a rando zauntie from off the street, you let them know immediately.

– If it's a known enemy between the two of them, you're more hesitant.

– Either way, the truth comes out and Vi's ready to kick ass.

– Caitlyn wants to be the bigger person in this scenario, she really does, but someone just beat up her partner. The partner that has done nothing wrong in her eyes deserves the small amount of peace and love this twisted world has to offer.

– She's less vocal with her rage than Vi.

– Vi curses like an absolute old ass sailor; using words only the eldest from Zaun used or the words bushy-eyebrowed enforcers used in old books and films.

– Neither of you is shocked but do ask her to tone it down when it gets too aggressive.

– Regardless, once you're patched up, Vi and Cait get dressed to find the perp.

– You stop them, letting them know there's no use since it happened over an hour ago and the perp is probably long gone.

– Defeated, they take off their coat and shoes. Yes, they were going to beat ass in their PJs. (This happens to be the one time Vi puts on PJs while waiting for you.) They find themselves at your side again.

– If the hooligan was some rando, you probably don't see them until you're in Zaun for more than a casual stroll. You point them out to Vi and Caitlyn and Vi rushes over to give them a taste of their own medicine.

– If the hooligan was a common enemy, Cait and Vi rush over to work the very next morning and give them a little visit.

"Don't worry, baby. We have a feeling they won't be bothering you for a long, long time."

Then one day, you woke up, freezing as you felt someone beside you in your bed. You turned to see a mop of teal hair. It made you feel sick, almost like you were going to throw up.

There's literally nothing to talk about. It ain't due to the harassment. It's legit just nothing to talk about. What am I supposed to do repeat the same shit I've already said but shorter this time? Bet.

The Mikoto brought in by Milgram definitely committed those murders and not the other one.

Yuno's murder isn't abortion and stating it could be basically equates abortion to murder which it is not. While also not explaining the several men that have consistently been alluded to and their blacked out belongings in Umbilical.

Shidou killed people in comas and vegatative states not brain dead individuals. Brain death is pretty rare its not something that happens often. This man would either have to be incredibly unlucky, working in a hospital that's incredibly unlucky, purposefully inducing brain death in his patients, working in a hospital that specializes in brain death (which, why??? but okay i believe you.), or lying to the family members about them being brain dead so they decide to pull the plug which family can choose to do in the cases of comas and vegetative states which he basically states he's doing in fucking Throw Down at several different instances.

Mahiru cheated on her significant other and this has been foreshadowed since the start of Milgram (her statements on Mikoto someone who is as social as her having cheater energy, and her going I'd never do that ever actually wouldn't that be fucked up. Similarly to how Mu said she'd never be a bully.) And it's bluntly alluded to in the lyrics of I Love You.

Amane seems to have killed someone other than her mom and I'm pretty sure I know who and that's probably the thing she's referring to when she's talking to Shidou and states all her decisions weren't good ones.

Everyone here has killed more than one person. These are all serial killers. Shidou just believes he killed the most, but if it turns out they're ordered by kills, then that would be Mikoto and Kotoko. Which I find that concept fucking hilarious. But Mu only had one victim wrong, driving people to suicide also can be counted as murder under certain circumstances, and both her songs imply this is what she did with other people through her bullying. We just saw the one person she killed directly. So, there's your suicide counts as murder too for those who wanted it. Also, another of Yamanaka's characters before Mu causes people to die the same way and at points is implied to have staged incidents to look like accidents and suicides. What about Futa though- He's been implied to have hunted down everyone else involved in the hat girl incident and I find this very funny given he asks why he's the only one here- What about them when he probably knows full and well they're dead.

Also, for straight fun- here are all the references to Mahiru's songs in the latest Deco*27 song Aitai-lians or at least the ones I saw and brought up in private the day it released-

Mahiru: Don’t say you like someone so flippantly! It’ll disappear…… words like “love,” don’t use them!

"Wait who was the hero of this story, huh, can't remember.", "I wanted you to be the hero of this story you know."- Both these lines can play on the fact this line applies both to Mahiru and her victim in her second song "This adorable, earnest, sincere heart is bleeding wailing this is the end."

Though the term hero has been related to Futa a lot as well. It can also be used under framing people in the right within the series or innocent something Mahiru currently I'd and wanted to be. However, she admits to herself doing more wrong in the relationship throughout both her songs. So she clearly knows she's not the hero here.

Also, not speculating this will be her next cover song or anything. I just find the similarities between her songs and this one interesting. I would like it if this was because it would be interesting while fitting with the other ones she got. I just want to wait until the next trial song trailer to speculate on that in depth.

But no, in seriousness, I don't say much unless I have a lot to say and can put enough time into it right now. There's not a lot left for me to chew on. Since I did my in-depth stuff over the course of the trial so I've mostly been taking a break and playing games.

i made this skirt because i'm currently making a dress from a pattern (the first time i have made anything from a pattern) and i was getting grr aaaa frustrated with it so i needed to have a quick win

i got 2m of fabric from the discount end of spotlight, cut it in half, sewed the two halves on the long sides, hemmed it on both ends (is it hemming when it's the top?), folded over the top side to be a bit wider than the waistband and sewed that down except for like idk 5-6cm, then attached a safety pin to the waistband (cut to be relaxed around my waist plus a little bit to allow for sewing) and fed it through the folded bit until the skirt was bunched around it and both ends were sticking out. Sewed the waistband together (careful not to twist it) and sewed the folded bit shut, then also made the bunchings even around the skirt and sewed the waistband into the skirt on either side because i hate when my waistbands decide to do somersaults

i fucked up when i was sewing the folded bit shut and accidentally sewed it to the body of the skirt as well because i was nearly finished and therefore not being careful (though i don't think i was particularly careful at any point during this) so i had to unpick those stitches while i was waiting for some chicken to poach, which worked well because i had to watch for it to boil and obviously i needed something mildly engaging to do while that happened

This post is mostly right but lets clear some things up because spreading of proper/accurate knowledge is important! She did have sick ass tattoos, they are very well preserved and are generally awesome.

The 'bag of weed' is a misunderstanding however. She was buried with what was originally thought to be a container of cannabis ( for fairly good reason as other Pazyryk burial cites have been found to contain cannabis seeds and a practice surrounding burning them was described by the Greek historian Herodotus ) but later tests found them to be coriander seeds probably used to cover the smell of the body. This was mentioned in one of the earliest TV airings surrounding the discovery in 1998, here is the transcript available on the NOVA ( an American science channel owned by PBS ) website:

"NARRATOR: More mysterious objects hint at spiritual beliefs and rituals. A small stone dish found at the end of the coffin contained seeds. Similar dishes in other tombs held cannabis, also known as marijuana—confirming a practice described by Herodotus.

So! Even if the seeds were cannabis 'bag of weed' would be a reallll stretch! It was part of a burial ritual with seeds and would not imply the smoking habits of who it was buried with. This is thoroughly confusing as an uncited Siberian Times article published in 2014 gets this wrong, which influenced a Huffington post article that also got it wrong that resulted in the Wikipedia page being-that's right, wrong! But only tangentially as a theory for Pazyryk medical habits, not associated in any facts of the burial or study. i feel like i have been waiting for this day for a long long long longgggg ass time and OMG SO MANY STRANGE BEAUTIFUL EXCITING FEELINGS HAVE BEEN STIRRED UP! THE TRAILER IS SO FUCKING SICK TIMMY I LOVED IT SOOOO MUCH :D :D :D I feel a bit ridiculous talking about Bob because you know his character so well, but i do eagerly feel the need to share that i was MINDBLOWN about the way in which you captured him! His voice ToT his aura ToT his mood ToT like omg this trailer truly is a blue ball, which ideally a good trailer does precisely, and it fucking worked. i INSTANTLY want to see more more MORE of you playing BOB! AHHH!!!!! heheheheh. fock. the cinematography is beautiful too ToT. i loved walk the line i watched it during covid to study. i love Pheonix too :)

i just read the rolling stone article and some interesting things came up for me. First off, it completely blew my mind as utter genius that this story will keep people from fully getting him, because that act is indeed exactly what bob was trying to avoid. so strangely meta mirrors within mirrors. this idea is so mindblowing genius to me. i always hella admired the fact that bob was an artist and everyone was like but bob what does it all mean and he's low key like y'all are squares AHHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAH i mean that's p much the essence of this movie right? BABABABHAHAHAHHAHA. timmy you know how deep i am in the metaphor consciousness. bob is probably overall one of the most über level metaphor consciousness writers. okay sure whatever yes these metaphors come from something sure but also, how gawd dayum boring would it be if we had to explain each impressionistic thought? it's called being an artist people BEING AN ARTIST! jesus fucking squares calm down. BAHAHAH.

other things: it occurred to me you may quite deeply feel like Bob yourself, now that i know you wish for exodus, and understand more cleary how much it prolly hella bothers you all this PR people in your face demanding opinions and your time n shit. was it in a weird way a spiritual release to get this energy out from yourself into the world? release prolly isnt the right word, you're still trapped, but perhaps idk alignment? synthesis? let's just say this, we know this role is not a coincidence on many levels. Okay additionally i cannot deny my personal inspiration from Bob. From the interview, i was struck by the comments about tryna answer what it means to have special talents and how it can lift or destroy you. Loved this: "And instead of me trying to answer that question, which I truly believe is unanswerable, I think that we try to answer, when we come across someone like that, who’s got some kind of artistic tiger by the tail and seems on a kind of rocket ship compared to us mortals *(LOL)*, how does it affect us and our feelings about existence, our own validity? lastly, i would like to address the Mrinmöy spirit connection to Bob as i had mentioned many times in the past, and how think it relates to what i saw in the trailer and... you Timmy! I do not think that Mrinmöy *necessarily* needs to have a perhaps... broodiness that i imagine you bring to Bob as he faces the onslaught of the world. However, there are still immense inner similarities. Mrinmöy (and Sunnï technically) have gone on many many side quests and learnt about the higher nature of reality through metaphor, and this leads to a secret wisdom that somehow needs to be shared with the world. also a burden. We have talked about this, but Bob's connection to divine metaphor and music and peculiar storytelling in ways that is hard to simply understand because it is so unique to him is his way in which he has connected to the higher magical realm. your spirit identity timothée does literally the exact same thing. you are writing it in the book, which i highly encourage you to include hella poetry because it is more mystical, and now you have amazing amazing useful guitar skills too to further explore this divine connection, on top of your amazing singing voice (still so impressed with your singing in the trailer). Now, what i think is interesting to reflect upon, is the ways in which we can *integrate* what we have learnt from this movie (which i know is ridiculous for me to say cuz i havent see it but to prompt your own reflection) similar the ways we have learnt from Dune. We can now take it for granted that, similar to Bob, you already do and now in different ways through writing the books and connecting with Félix and Mrinmöy have special secret identities that everyone in the entire world will inquire about. I accept my own responsibility for technically giving them do you. AND i think this movie will hella help me navigate what this struggle will be, SO THANK YOU FOR THAT! JESUS! and so let's finish with some reflection questions:
