New Doom Powers

Ok, I wasn't expecting this. At first, I thought Shadow was only getting the wings as a new power. But I'm glad this trailer proved me wrong.

Looks like Shadow's Chaos Spear is being upgraded to the Doom variant. It really shows how deep Black Doom's DNA is a part of Shadow's. I think some forget Black Doom donated his own DNA to help Dr. Gerald in the creation of Project: Shadow and not some generic Black Arms soldier.

Black Doom wanted the perfect soldier for his army.

It seems Doom Blast just sends enemies back. Knocking them into breakable walls or switches. I'm sure even enemies are also fair game to be hit by whatever Shadow kicks at them with. I can see this also being used to find shortcuts in the levels if one notices something odd in a room.

Doom Morph will allow us to travel on surfaces Shadow can't skate across. Either hurting him or slowing him down. From what the trailer shows we can also swing across large gaps in this form and go up walls or cling to them as long as there is the purple gunk to attach to.

Ah yes. The Doom power that took the Sonic fandom by storm, the Doom Wing (Weirdly not plural). Not much to say about this power. It's a pair of wings and we know what those do. Still badass looking and had and will get the Fallan Angel lovers going crazy.

This one... looks kind of goofy, won't lie. X3

But it's also a self-explanatory power. With Doom Surf Shadow can surf over water. Hey, Shadow can sail across the Hoeen region and collect all the badges.
