So I've finished season 3 of Buffy and what a wild ride the second half of that was.

For one, Cordelia got totally screwed by the plot once her and Xander broke up and for some reason, the writers kept trying to make us feel bad for him?? After he cheated? Nah Cordy SHOULD be a bitch to him, she earned that.

Anya's place near the gang by the end felt a bit random and ofc she's obsessed with Xander for some reason 🤷‍♀️ but I am super curious about where that's going!

The hell hounds for prom made me giggle. I'm sorry those were people in the worst hound suits I've ever seen lmao I'm guessing supernatural learned from this mistake to just make them invisible 🤣🤣

Oh! And thank GOD the angel debacle is over. The best part of The Zeppo episode was the tongue-in-cheek humor about their melodrama 😂 I do feel for Buffy, your first love hurts the worst, but man why am I way more interested in Angelus than Angel 😬😬

The fact that Joyce and Giles had sex and Buffy finds out when she can read minds was 🔥 🔥 hysterical 10/10 work. Boo on Wesley inner dialogue being about a high school girl 🤮 wtf.

And of course the finale! The Mayor and Faith plot was a bit of a whirlwind. The dynamic was interesting and weird and I'm still not sure the nature of their alliance. But!

I loved the fact that after their class awarded Buffy with class protector that they all came together at graduation to defeat evil 🥹 it was actually really cute and fun and unexpected and I really enjoyed it! 💖

im playing with the idea of another IF, and really just taking my time with it and letting myself not be so pressured by forcing myself to update or churn out chapter a ton - that’s where a lot of my angst came from with FTMB and when TMITAWH was an IF

also! I’ve been absent from the space long enough that im not sure im reading everything from my friends or if there’s been some really good stuff coming out lately.
