Honestly, part of the reason I wrote that fic was because I'd noticed that there weren't a whole lot of alternate takes on Jason in Hellcheer fanfiction, and I wanted to play around with him being a nicer guy. I got so attached to my version of him that for a while there, I forgot that he's actually an antagonist in canon lmao
