So a little detail that my sister and I noticed in ROTSQ is that towards the end when they defeat Spider Queen, Mei is helping Red Son to stand. Before recently, we always made fun of him ve we didn’t think he was actually hurt and just threw himself into Mei’s arms like “Ohh I’m injured carry meee !!” But turns out it could’ve been from when he was protecting everyone from the blast which BY THE WAY. . . WHY DID THE CAMERA ZOOM IN ON MEI’S FACE?? WHY HERS??? Red literally shows the SLIGHTEST bit of vulnerability and is like, what, immediately swooned? Like?? Bro let some girl he’s hardly met out of battle go with him to get a peach AND help him stand after he gets hurt like bro??

One of my two favorite Koby fics and I’ve been working on and hoarding these for a couple months now :)
