imagine when Ty goes to see Kit at the beginning of tlkof and he’s walking through halls to get to Kits room and he sees children’s art on the walls and Ty asks if the drawings are Mina’s and Kit responds with “Only some of them, the others are mine, i’m not a very good artist but Mina likes it when i draw with her”
this isn’t really about Ty and Kit it’s mostly just abt how Kit spends time with Mina and i think this would be a cute way to sorta tell the readers that Kit loves hanging out with Mina

cybersex | camgirl! x skz
prologue. chapter I
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
MDNI (18+): this series will depict sex work and acts of sex. this prologue has suggestive themes, nudity, and mentions of butt plugs
skz x fem!reader
a/n: I'll have chapter 1 up soon but I hope you all love this series as much as I do!
synopsis: after a month or so of becoming a camgirl! your career really takes off, you decide to get a place of your own to film content. a lovely building opens up with the perfect space for all your necessities but to your surprise, your favorite waiter boys and long time crush on the head chief of the restaurant you work also happen to live in the building. Bringing you to meet their own assortment of friends. what happens when they find out there's some holes in the stories you tell about your life style?
prologue
You always had a keen interest in the sex work. You had an nsfw twitter page for yourself but it was only really used as a means of saving material or on a bold occasion, posting some captions with said material. There was a thrill of seeing your notifications filled with compliments and praises of like-minded people who were just as horny as you. Your roommate Sana had gotten into doing camgirl work pretty early on. You had indulged your curiosity on occasion when she and her girlfriend would be streaming just down the hall from you. Popping onto the stream to see your roommate's body on display and her girlfriend sat cutely between her legs wearing nothing but a heart-shaped butt plug. Sana would encourage you to try it out at least, very aware of how much you had desired to try it out but always holding back. Financially speaking, you could only benefit from it. In comparison to what you two made in a week at your measly waitress jobs, she could make both your checks for two weeks in just one night and even double dependent on how long she streamed for.
“You’re not worried that someone will recognize you?” You asked standing in the newly furnished cam room, floor to ceiling decorated in all shades of pink imaginable.
“Not anymore, I revealed my face on stream so long ago, I haven’t given it much thought since. Besides, I could walk away at any moment I decide. I will admit there was a certain thrill with covering up in the beginning. I think there's something about hiding your identity while being in such a lewd state that elicits such an adrenaline rush. It makes the excitement of being watched and gawked at all the more fun.” Sana is now leaning on the desk where her camera and lighting equipment reside.
“I like the fun, bring me as much joy and excitement as it probably does for my followers,” There’s a slight flush that rises to the tops of her cheeks that you can still make out in the fluorescent lights, “The biggest thing for me is it gives me the confidence I need, the financial security is just a bonus.”
The windows were covered by drawn curtains that covered the entirety of the walls, allowing the room to only be lit by the neon color-changing lamps which to no surprise were set at a baby pink. The floors were covered by a fluffy throw rug, with very little wood peaking. There is a makeshift sofa bed that's covered by an assortment of pillows and silk sheets and another fluffy blanket. There sat on the floor is the giant white teddy bear, Mina, Sana’s longtime partner, gifted her just a month ago. You stayed quiet, absorbing your surroundings. You were amazed but also… jealous. Jealous of how she could find confidence and find security in what most people found so vulnerable. You let out a sigh, sitting on the almost too-silky sheets that caused you to slide right off the bed.
“Careful. You can imagine how slippery they are in the nude,” She laughed softly as she stared at you, waiting to speak again. “I see the gears turning… What’s on your mind kit-kat?” Your eyes bolt up to her.
“I’m just... A bit taken aback I guess. You could say jealous maybe. This is the frist time I’ve ever considered it as a viable option…” You let the sentence trail off not knowing what to say.
All your life, you had complexes about your body. Measured your self-worth in the way your body looked, and how it compared to other girls you had admired. The older you got, the better you were about mentally checking yourself, to realize it was okay not to be shaped like other girls. Finding it in yourself to feel secure in the body you had. Although you could keep those insecurities at bay most of the time, they would crawl out from under the bed like a hideous monster to plague your thoughts when you felt down about the lackluster love life. Bad dates, unreciprocated feelings, and talking stages that never went anywhere, that was the extent of your love life.
“You want to give it a try?” That question pulled you out of your thoughts, now you were the one with a bright flush across the tops of your cheeks. “I can help you get started, set up your account, and start promoting you on my own account to start you off with a bit of a following. That’s if… you really are serious about this.” Sana had always been so sweet to you, she had already been letting you take the spare of her 3-bedroom rental as you couldn’t afford to live on your own. She had always extended a helping hand when you needed but here was a chance to finally get you to land on your own feet for once. How could you refuse such an opportunity?
“I don’t know… I don’t think I’m cut out for something like this I mean look at you! I don’t know how anyone is supposed to get off looking at-”
“Finish that sentence and you’re never allowed to see Jiji again,” Sana interrupted, Jiji was your shared house cat who was slowly becoming more yours as time went on. “ I don't want to pressure you into anything but I just think you could actually see the benefit in this. Give it one try and if you don’t like it, I erase every trace of you.”
You sat with the thought, your brain tugging you to go for it. One chance and if it doesn’t work out no harm right?
“When can we start?”

I’m excited to see Tavvy in his inquisitive 10 yr old boy era and see how his relationship with Helen and Aline has developed
Because I think that Aline would sign herself and Tavvy up for surfing lessons
But I also hc that Aline starts speaking Mandarin with Tavvy
Bc when Haline has their own kid Aline would speak mandarin with them and Tavvy is *her kid* now
And Tavvy has always loved stories and language and he is excited to have a language that his siblings don’t know so he takes to it quite well
Plus I think this would lead to some iconic Tavvy moments in TWP
BECAUSE
Jem is in charge of Kit’s training and ofc I think that Jem would cover all the regular shadowhunter demon languages and martial arts training
But I think that Jem would add in learning an Instrument and learning Mandarin into Kit’s training
(Esp bc Jem will speak mandarin with Mina and Tessa already knows it)
Therefore what I need to see happen
Is sometime mid TWP Ty and Kit have made it back to the LA institute and they’re having a big Blackthorn Family dinner.
And Ty says something to Kit and Kit responds under his breath in mandarin “i love you”
Kit ofc doesn’t expect anyone to hear him, much less understand
But Mr Nosy “I will never be left behind on info again” Tavvy is like loudly “Kit why did you just tell Ty that you love him?”

underrated things i’m excited for in Wicked powers
everybody’s talking about kitty and morgenthorn and ghost!livvy and the cohort and lucifer so here are some things i’m excited for in twp that not many people have mentioned
- clary and ash relationship
- clary and janus meet and greet
- more of julian being a big brother to kit
- on top of that julian figuring out about ash
- reveal of Thule!simon’s fate (everyone’s talking about Thule!kit but simon is the only one of the thule!tmi gang to not be mentioned in qoaad)
- hopefully more scenes of tavvy, max, rafe, and mina
- jocelyn and luke’s reactions to ash
- clace and sizzy double wedding (at this point both tmi and tda have ended with weddings so i feel like twp has to end with a wedding)
- thais’s adventures and romances (honestly, she might be the character i’m most excited for just cause we don’t know anything about her yet other than that she doesn’t take anyone’s shit)
- also hopefully kierarktina helping kit out with his first heir stuff
- cassie said it was going to be based on arthurian legend so there better be a sword in the stone moment (my money’s on it being kit because ash will probably already have heosphoros and kit also talked to jace about having a signature weapon in qoaad) (or it could be dru. that would be badass)
- also speaking of heosphoros, clary’s reaction to seeing heosphoros again
- seeing adaon again (he’s honestly such an interesting character i hope we see more of him)
- unpopular opinion but i hope we see more of jaime (i don’t think he should fall in love with dru but he’s a really interesting character and i hope the two of them become better friends)
that’s all i could think of for now but i might add more later

since there’s no sobh entry today or ever again here’s a fun little list of my fav sobh entries ever!
coming up first we have the first Magnus to Alec letter. Listen this shit changed my life and was probably one of the highlights of my fall semester last year I’m not kidding it was that bad. Magnus and Alec made it better. that photo of them and the kids on vacation is my everything. Magnus calling Alec love. it’s everything. anyway we knew that was first
second we have the other Magnus to Alec letter. this one wasn’t hitting as much but it was still Magnus to Alec hence why it’s up at the top. it was still great. highlights include Magnus calling the kids m and r bc I think it’s cute, and Magnus calling Alec my love again. Also the entire last paragraph !
next is unobjectively the best sobh entry if we are not counting my extreme tmi gang bias. which is Livvy speaking to Julian!!!! I love the inflection the actress used and I think she encapsulated Livvy so so well and I LOVE IT. Kitty angst I am here for it. this was so gearing up for what the wicked powers will be. too bad it’s a decade away. anyway this entry slayed the house down!!!! ty needs kit.
next was a super fun surprise and def one of my favs : emma and Julian visiting the tmi gang in nyc!!! even tho it freaked me out because I am so scared of Janus I got to see my BEST FRIENDS jace clary and Alec <3 Simon and Isabelle could’ve been included but I’ll take what I can get. they ordered pizza my favs for that I love my tmi gang takeout food fiends. yeah this was sm fun
Here’s a random one. TESSA TO MARYSE. this was a banger. I love it. I remember reading it and this was like over a year ago but I was so in shock but so thrilled. Like it’s just random but fun for hearing about kit and Jace and the lightwood fam is my fav obviously. and that cute pic of Jace clary kit and mina!!!
next we have the kit to ty letter that kit burned. sad but good and also just interesting with its connections to james my best friend James Herondale. it’ll be interesting (?) to see what ends up happening with the gun in both chain of thorns and the wicked powers. cool stuff
also ash to Janus. Janus scares me because he very much threatens my fav but also Janus being a threat means tmi gang content right. I mean that makes sense to me I’ll take what I can get! Also I love ash so. I’m excited to see him more
Helen to Julian. this was cute. i love Helen and i love that pic of tavvy and I love them worrying about ty aw. yay blackthorn siblings sometimes I forget that I love them
Honorable mention: dru and Kit texting. i do enjoy the 2014 looking text message entries because they’re fun and like gen z I guess. but also they were j short and didn’t have enough content to be good. you know
More honorable mentions: Ragnor and Ty’s visit, some of Emma’s entries in Bruce, Cristina talking abt Thomas lightwood, and Tessa to Sophie even though it was the saddest thing ever
thats it that’s the list

Things I'm looking forward to: Secrets of Blackthorn Hall Edition
It starts tomorrow: TDA gang content every week! For a year!
Right when I was settled in to wait it out 'till at least 2023... I was thinking *maybe* we'd see someone Kit in the epilogue of Chain of Thorns. But no!
Anyway, reasons I am especially excited:
1. Happy Julian and Emma
No forbidden love, no exiled siblings, no responsibility--we get to see their relationship a year in and comparatively drama free. I think we're going to get to see them having fun! Much as I love the Herondales, I feel like we overlook that the other families are hilarious too. I'm looking forward to texts from Emma 'quip-fast-die-young' Carstairs and Julian 'sometimes-when-you-start-a-war-you-want-to-make-pancakes' Blackthorn.
2. Kierarktina update
I have questions. Don't get me wrong, I love that they have Polyamorous Cottage, but it feels like a... temporary solution? I want to know where they're at a year into the arrangement. Is Kieran slowly working to change the no-mortal-consort rule? Is succession an issue--possibly not, because faeries can live forever and if he's killed by someone the throne goes to them (I think?). But then that raises the question, will he choose to have a human lifespan and die with Mark and Cristina like Auraline allegedly did?
I'm not expecting answers to all of this in a fun web series, but I'm excited to see where they're at a year after QoAaD.
3. Ghostbuster Kit!
So, once Emma stops doing her 'I ain't afraid of no ghost' thing, who they gonna call? Well, I can think of someone in the UK (probably a train ride from London), who can see ghosts and has the time to come help out. My prediction is that they ask Kit to come talk to the ghost. Bonus points if he conveniently just misses...
4. TY
So the snippet was Mark writing to Ty and according to CC on Twitter Ty 'sends correspondence'. Also, there are going to be diary entries, and who do we know loves to write in notebooks? Either way, I'm glad we are getting interactions between Ty and the rest of the fam--he felt so isolated from them in The Lost World and it had me worried.
I don't know, guys. I'm just so here for the way Ty writes--the letter to Annabel and the notes on Livvy in The Lost World both make me so emotional. And, even if we don't get much of his writing, we are going to get him talking about Kit! And maybe helping to solve a family mystery or two--he deserves that.
5. Art
Are you still freaking out over the aged up flower cards? I'm still freaking over the aged up flower cards. Cute art of Mina and the Lightwood-Bane boys is tomorrow (again, thank you Twitter) and who knows what we'll get after that?
BONUS: The Spotify playlist
https://open.spotify.com/playlist/2XvYJiQOBxeQ4HknJttvi2?si=71dde544006d413b
This playlist is so good?? Maybe I just think that because the Lady Midnight playlist from 2016 played an embarrassingly large part in shaping my music taste, but still. I get fun, spooky Halloween vibes. I get happy-couple-who-worked-hard-to-get-there vibes. Maybe a hint of angst, but the song choices make me think this is going to be a lot of fun.
See you all tomorrow!

START OF SOMETHING NEW
Tumblr media
“Tavvy, on your left!”
Rafael swivelled off the tree branch, landing gracefully on the floor and quickly wiped off the dust from his coat. They were in the middle of a fight, but his Bapa had taught him that one always had to look their best - especially during a fight.
“Rafe?” his parabatai called out, grabbing another seraph blade from his boot.
Rafael’s fingers pulled on the bowstring by instinct and muscle memory. The arrow slashed through the air and landed on the Shax’s demon’s forehead - or whatever that body part was. It was always so hard to tell with demons.
“Thanks!” Tavvy clasped his shoulder. “Let’s go find the others.”
Rafael nodded and they both ran toward the garden. Mina and his brother had been separated from them during the fight. He hadn’t applied a speed rune, but he didn’t need one when it came to Max.
His dad had taught him everything about what it means to be a good shadowhunter. But the first lesson was simple - always have your family’s back. Always.
They spotted Mina as soon as they made it to the garden. Mina, who was the youngest among them but probably the boldest, was fighting off a Shax all on her own. Rafael noticed another one creeping up behind her. He raised his bow and aimed his shot.
“Not my bestie, you bitch!”
A bolt of blue magic appeared from above and Max landed on the ground, his blue curls falling over his forehead. The Shax turned into goo as Mina skilfully took care of the other one.
“10 points for Ravenclaw for that reference,” Mina high fived Max.
“Nerds,” Tavvy chuckled as the two of them ran up to them.
“Nicely done,” Rafe told the team as he checked Max for any visible wounds.
“Hermano, no!” Max shooed him away. “There is something you both should see.”
Rafe stared at Tavvy, who shrugged and followed the others. They walked into mansion..or what was left of it.
“By the angel. What the hell happened here?” Rafe gasped.
“There were too many Shax demons,” Mina explained. “Max and I had to release a fireball. A big one.”
“Max, Bapa has told you not to do the fireball unless it’s an emergency!” Rafe sighed.
“Excuse me but if battling twenty shax demons doesn’t count as an emergency then I don’t know what does!” Max argued.
“Twenty?” Tavvy echoed. “There were only five!”
“The rest of them turned up after we got separated,” Mina pointed out. “I think they were hiding in the mansion.”
“Do we have any idea who the mansion belongs to?” Rafe asked, already calculating possible damage costs. “Is it a mundane?”
“We don’t know,” Max shrugged. “Can we go now?”
“We can’t!” Rafe said. “You just blew up someone’s mansion. Protocol says we need to do something about it.”
“Protocol is the worst,” Mina and Max mumbled.
“We need back up,” Tavvy looked at him.
“Oh no,” Mina pouted. “Not back up!”
Calling for back up usually meant the mission had gone out of control - and that usually meant no more missions for a while.
“If we call for backup, then they probably won’t let us go on a mission for another three months!” Tavvy grumbled. “Remember what happened in Shanghai?”
“Let’s not,” Max winced. “I think the only reason we got away with it is because of Uncle Jem.”
“Well, we can’t call him here now,” Rafe replied. “He already helped us last time!”
“Then what are we going to do now?” Mina asked. “We need help. But we can’t let the Clave know about this. No offence, guys!”
“None taken,” Max and Rafe said at the same time.
One would think that life would be easier when your dad was the Consul. But that wasn’t the case for Max and Rafe. Their dad was extremely protective of them and would probably take them off field duty for god knows how long.
“Alright, gang!” Max said as they stood in a circle. “We need to find someone who will help us handle this quietly without getting into trouble.”
“We can call Kit,” Mina said. “You know he won’t say a word.”
“But he is in the Moscow institute with Ty,” Tavvy groaned.
“We can call Uncle Jace,” Max beamed. “He is the perfect man for the job.”
“But he is in faerie,” Mina sighed.
“Anyone else borderline concerned that both our options are Herondales?” Rafe inquired.
“We need more Herondales goddamnit!” Max swore. “What are we gonna do now?”
“Well,” Tavvy rubbed his neck. “We are in a helpless situation and need someone to save our asses. Historically, there is only one person we can rely on.”
“Nope,” Rafael said immediately.
“Already texted him,” Max grinned as he put his phone away.
A blue portal appeared in less than a minute and their Bapa stepped out, striding towards them in a hurry.
“Are you all okay?” He started checking them for wounds, even Tavvy and Mina.
“We are fine, Bapa,” Rafe smiled. “But we can’t say the same for the mansion though.”
“Yikes,” his father said eloquently as he took in their surrounding. “Well, it looks like it was badly in need for a renovation anyway.”
“Uncle Magnus,” Tavvy gulped. “Why is the portal still open?”
Rafe turned around immediately to see the portal shimmering behind them.
“Um, about that,” his Bapa fiddled with his rings. “I might have bought some backup.”
“Dios mio!” Rafael gulped.
“It’s not my fault!” Bapa put up his hands. “Max texted 911! I freaked out! Besides, he was right there when you texted me! What was I supposed to do?”
Before any of them could answer, their dad, and the mother effing Consul, stepped out of the portal.
He immediately ran towards them and scanned them with frantic eyes.
“Is everything okay?” He asked. “I was on a call with the Alliance and they can get here-”
“Bapa, we are fine!” Max reassured him. “It’s just…well.”
“Just some collateral damage, darling,” Bapa chuckled.
The Consul looked around at that and gasped. The mansion was still slowly falling apart slowly.
“Paperwork,” their dad whispered, mostly to himself. “So much paperwork.”
“Darling, it’s just a little mess.”
“Little?”
“Alec, it isn’t like we didn’t blow things up and cause a mess back then,” Bapa said - ever the support of mischief.
“I have never blown up anything in my life,” his father said indignantly.
“True,” Bapa shrugged. “But I do recall you making questionable decisions. Remember how you almost ripped apart that vampire because he insulted me?”
“Wasn’t that last week?” Mina chuckled.
“Exactly,” Bapa grinned at her. “They are still learning.”
“Magnus, I get that. But they ca-”
“Dad, I’m sorry,” Max bit his lip.
“It wasn’t his fault,” Mina said quickly. “We were outnumbered. We had to do a fireball.”
“Blueberry, I know fireballs are a cool aesthetic. But I’ve told you that strong magic must be preserved for serious situ-”
“There were twenty Shax demons, Bapa!” Max pointed out. “Mins and I got separated from the others. We couldn’t fight them all off on our own. We didn’t do it for the aesthetic. We needed to do the fireball to survive.”
The Consul, who was listening them intently, rubbed his beard. Rafe had told him to shave it off multiple times, but their Bapa apparently liked it and thus the beard stayed on.
“Twenty Shax demons isn’t normal!” He pointed out. “We need to launch an investigation.”
“Can we do it?” Max asked, already excited at the prospect.
“Max, all of you are too young-”
“We are almost the same age as you were when you battled Valentine,” Rafael pointed out defiantly.
He saw Bapa smile fondly but dad didn’t falter.
“We’ll be careful, sir,” Tavvy said in a way and that reminded Rafe so much of Julian. “We’ve been tracking the demons since last month. We can handle it.”
Alec looked at Magnus - they were clearly communicating in a way only married people could. Rafe looked at Max who just shrugged. Either of them had been able to break their parent’s secret communication code.
“Alright,” their dad finally said. “Octavian, you will lead the team. You must report to me directly. But I will be nominating one nephilim and downworlder adult to assist you in the mission. If something goes wrong next time, you must directly contact them.”
“Thanks, dad!” Max threw himself at their father. “I knew you are the best Consul.”
Their father only grinned and ruffled Max’s curls. Rafael slowly made his way to him and hugged him from the side.
“Sorry about the mess, dad,” he mumbled. “I promise I will watch out for Max next time.”
“You need to watch out for yourself too,” their dad whispered softly.
“Mr. Consul,” their Bapa said in a formal voice and their dad rolled his eyes. “I would like to volunteer as the downworlder representative for this Taskforce.”
“Hells yeah!” Max pumped his fist in the year.
“Not gonna happen,” their dad shook his dead.
“What? Why?” Their bapa pouted.
“You’re gonna sit this one out,” his father said sternly. “You have a pathological need to get involved in shadowhunter business.”
“No, I don’t!” their bapa gasped. “You’re the weirdo!”
“You will be working with Drusilla Blackthorn and Lily Chen,” their dad said. “Rafe, I need a report on today’s mission by the end of this week. Octavian, arrange a meeting with Drusilla and Lily immediately. And Max and Mina, try not to blow anything up in the meantime.”
“We have one more request,” Max raised his hand.
“We do?” Rafael questioned.
“This is clearly a serious mission,” Max said in a serious voice. “We need more manpower.”
“Maia and the others are busy with the Allia-”
“Actually, we were thinking of someone younger,” Mina pointed out.
“Someone whose last name might be Herondale,” Max grinned.
“No,” their dad whispered softly. “Not the twins.”
“It’s a dangerous mission that involves fighting demons and blowing things up. If we leave Alex and Charlotte out, we will never hear the end of it,” Rafe pointed out with a smile.
“Fine,” his father relented. “Only because they are excellent fighters and would actually be helpful.”
“In blowing things up,” their bapa chuckled softly.
“Oh oh!” Max put up his hand up excitedly again. “Can we ask George to join us too? And Becca?”
“Max, this is not a birthday party!” His father sighed. “You can’t just invite all your friends.”
Max looked Rafe with a sad face. Rafael had never really been able to say no to that.
“We get it, dad,” Rafael nodded. “So if aunt Izzy asks why we didn’t include her kids in our mission, we’ll just say you said no. Is that correct?”
Their bapa covered his mouth from laughing out loud. “They do have a valid point, Alexander.”
The Consul looked at all their faces and sighed tiredly. “Fine. But if one more person is added to this list…Magnus and I will handle the mansion. The rest of you are dismissed!”
“Dad, quick question,” Max raised his hand - again. “If we add Elyaas to the gang, does that count? Cause he is technically not a person-”
“MAX MICHAEL!!!”

RichKidKirishima HC
I have opinions on this topic and I just want to get them out in the world.
Warning, it gets sad for a little while.
If you turn your head to the side and squint you might see a tiny bit of KiriBaku and/or KiriMina. Maybe. Sorry but I didn't proof this and I was kinda sleepy when I wrote it. Still hope you like it though!
So, I think Eijiro's parents had a decent amount of money, probably worked good jobs. I don't think they were Yaoyorozu's rich but probably somewhere along the lines of Todoroki's. What they did exactly, I'm not sure of either but I like to think high-class event coordinators (this is a HC after all).
Rolling with the event coordinator's idea... after planning a lavish gala for the top heroes, they were on their way home to pick up little Eijiro when a tragic event happened and they were killed. Everything they had was left to their only child at just six years old.
But, Eijiro wouldn't be all alone. His aunt might have only been 19 and she certainly wasn't ready to be a parent but she wasn't going to let her only nephew become an orphan. She took him in and raised him on her own. Most of his parent's money had been put away until Eijiro reached a certain age but his aunt was granted access to make sure he could go to the best school and live a comfortable life.
...
His aunt did the absolute best she could to raise him and she thinks she's done a pretty good job thus far even though she's convinced most of it is just because Eijiro is a truly good person at heart.
Even though money was never really a problem for them, she still worked two jobs to make sure Eijiro would have as much of the inheritance his parents left for him as possible when he became an adult.
So many nights she'd fall asleep on the sofa with her work uniform and shoes still on. She would wake up in the morning to find the shoes sitting by the front door and a blanket over her and the world's sweetest nephew in the kitchen making breakfast (usually cereal or peanut butter toast) while watching highlight reels of his favorite Pro Hero, Crimson Riot.
She took advantage of a rare night off when Eijiro was ten to go out on a date... it didn't go well, to say the least. She hoped her nephew would be asleep when she came home so she could properly cover up the black eye she received and clean up her knuckles but he was up watching a holiday special in his pajamas when she opened the front door.
Little Eijiro FLIPPED the moment he saw her injured. He tried pulling her back out the door wanting her to go to the hospital but she insisted she'd be alright. The furious ten-year-old then went around the kitchen gathering an ice pack and carefully wrapping it up in a towel for her. He sat on her lap and pressed it oh so gently to her eye muttering about how the man was a super unmanly guy for hitting a girl.
When she chuckled and took the ice pack from him he noticed her blooded knuckles too, "I can take care of myself, little shark." He hopped off her lap and ran to get the first aid kit to a much different tune.
"I HAVE THE MANLIEST AUNTIE EVER!"
He did insist on meeting all of her future dates after that. Something she avoided up until that point because being not even 25 with a ten-year-old had a way of making dating...challenging. She agreed to his terms though, this was right around the time his protective nature began to kick in. Eijiro always wanted to do the right thing even if he didn't know how.
She remembered Eijiro feeling insecure as he reached his early teen years. Feeling like he wasn't enough, not strong enough to help people and she wished like hell her brother was still alive to help. Eijiro wouldn't really talk to her about his problems, he'd just smile and tell her everything was alright. She started to get really worried but then something in him changed.
He was suddenly asking her if he could buy a heavy bag and if he could sign up for a gym membership, wanting to take boxing classes. Of course, she supported it and when he told her he wanted to go to UA and become a Pro Hero, she couldn't have been more proud.
He had a friend to train with, a young girl who pushed him to be his best and he was pushing right back! A real friend. It was all she could have wanted for him. The cheers that filled her living room when the pair found out they'd both be attending UA were enough to make her cry.
She would be a nervous wreck but that came with being a parent...
A very proud, absolutely terrified parent who couldn't wait to see the amazing things her little shark would do.
...
Eijiro was old enough when the tragedy occurred that he remembers his parents, his mother's smile, and his father's booming laugh. He'd give all the money back they left for him if it meant having his parents back and that's why he never flaunts that he has any. He hates where it came from.
It isn't until he starts making really close friends that he starts to spend some of the money on them without a second thought.
He'd do little things like paying for their ice cream after school with Mina which she would thank him over and over for. He'd also buy her big things like tickets to a concert he knew she couldn't afford on her own. Seeing the pure joy and excitement on her face was more than enough to know he was doing something he could feel good about.
He liked being able to spontaneously buy things for his friends when he got to UA. It was a way for him to think of the money he was given without feeling upset and shitty about it.
And when Bakugo was taken, when he wasn't there to do anything to help in that moment and he instantly felt like he was six years old, weak and helpless with nothing he could do to protect his friend, Eijiro remembered he could do something.
He used a small portion of his allowance to buy the goggles hoping it would make rescuing Bakugo easier. It made more sense to him to spend it on things to help others and that was what he did. His money wasn't just there to buy gifts but he could also use it to buy tools and resources.
He would fight tooth and nail to protect the ones he cared about. Spend every coin he had if it meant keeping them safe as well as happy.
...
Eijiro had full access to his inheritance when he was 18 but he didn't touch it. He relied solely on what he made as a pro hero. Got himself an apartment that he shared with Tamaki and Tetsutetsu.
The first time he accessed the funds was when his auntie told him she was pregnant. He was going to be a big brother. And he was going to spoil the crap out of this little kid!
In his twenties, he began donating some of the funds away. He made plenty as one of the top ten pro heroes anyways. Enough to support his own growing family as well as making sure his auntie had whatever she needed. He always lived well below his means, never taking a single thing for granted.
He knew better than anyone what it was like to have something you care for so much vanish in an instant.
Eijiro couldn't remember too much of his parents anymore but, if he closed his eyes, he could still see his mother's smile and hear his father's boisterous laugh, both of which they passed onto him.
They gave him the means to make something great with his life even if they weren't physically with him anymore and for that, he'd always be thankful.

The Sibling Matchmakers Club ch. 5
It’s been quite a while (sorry about that, there were things irl that were happening) but I’m back with chapter 5! Here’s the link for the chapter on ao3, and the link for chapter 1 on both tumblr and on ao3. Please let me know what you think on a reblog or a comment!! <3
Chapter 5: Together Once Again
Tessa Gray couldn’t stop smiling. James was finally coming back after what felt like forever, even though in reality it had been around a month. Tessa was sitting at the gate James would soon be walking out of, and she couldn’t keep her eyes off the doors. She’d never gone so long without seeing her son before.
James wasn’t the only one she’d gone a long time without seeing. Tessa used to try not to think about it because she’d tear up every time, but James actually wasn’t her only child. A long time ago, there had been three: James, Lucie, and Mina. When James and Lucie were 3 and Mina was almost 2, Tessa had gotten divorced and the children had all been split up. They had agreed not to tell the kids about each other and just raise them separately, thinking it was the best option.
Tessa regretted it immediately after signing the paperwork.
She thought about Lucie and Mina all the time. Her daughters, her precious daughters. What were they like now? Lucie used to be such a curious baby, always pointing out new things and trying to fit everything she could into her mouth. Mina used to constantly smile and giggle, and she loved grabbing her older siblings’ fingers. Every time they called her Mommy or Mama, Tessa’s heart would burst with happiness.
She would never get to hear them call her Mom again. It was a rough thing to remember, and Tessa’s smile slowly faded. She wouldn’t even know how to contact their fathers now, after the messy break up they’d had. If she could go back in time and change it she would, but it was far too late. I hope they’re happy and healthy, wherever they are. It wasn’t her first time wishing for such a thing.
Her train of thought was put on hold when people started to walk out of the door after getting off the plane, and Tessa shot up from her seat. She carefully looked through the growing crowd, searching for a young boy with curly hair. “James,” she called out when she couldn’t find him. “Jamie?”
“Mom?” a voice said, and Tessa turned around.
She felt her heart stop in her chest. There was a young girl who looked to be the same age as James, with wavy brown hair and light blue eyes. Blue eyes, Tessa thought. Will’s eyes. A girl with Will’s blue eyes and Tessa’s own brown hair just called her Mom.
“Mom?” the girl said again, looking up at her with a tight grip on her suitcase. “I’m-”
“Lucie?” Tessa whispered. There was only one person it could possibly be. “Is that you?”
The girl’s eyes widened. “Yes,” she breathed. “I’m Lucie, Lucie Herondale.” She raised a shaky hand towards Tessa. “Can I-”
Tessa moved quicker than she ever had before, wrapping her daughter up in a tight hug. “Lucie, I’ve missed you,” Tessa said, unable to stop the tears rolling down her cheeks. She couldn’t believe she was holding the daughter she hadn’t seen in nine years. “It’s been so long. I’m sorry, we never should’ve been separated.”
“Mom,” Lucie cried, and Tessa could feel the girl’s tears on her shirt. “I’ve always wanted to meet you.”
“I thought about you all the time,” Tessa admitted softly. “You and… Hold on.” She paused and carefully stepped away from Lucie, confused. “How did this happen? Where’s James? How much do you know?”
Lucie wiped at her eyes and smiled. “James and I met at camp. Mina, too.”
“Mina?” Tessa gasped, feeling the tears coming back. “My Mina? Is she alright?”
“She is.” Lucie said, nodding enthusiastically. “She’s really nice and I’m happy we found out we’re sisters. James is really cool too, even if we didn’t get along at first. I can’t believe I have a twin!”
“I’m glad,” Tessa said, before hugging her daughter once more. “I’m so glad you’re all healthy and happy. I have no idea how you three ended up at the same camp and figured this out. I especially have no idea how you managed to switch flights,” Lucie gulped at that, “but I love you and I’m so happy to see you again.”
Lucie nodded into Tessa’s shirt. “Papa is great, but I’m happy that I have a mom and another dad. I’ve always wondered about you.”
Tessa clung to her daughter tighter. “I think about you all the time. I’ve always hoped you and Will were doing okay.”
She couldn’t believe this was happening. Tessa had been thinking about her other two children earlier, but she never would have guessed that one of them would show up. She missed James, and she desperately wanted to see Mina again now too. If she could see all of them in a room together, laughing and smiling, Tessa would be the happiest mother in the entire world.
She was looking forward to it.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Will Herondale couldn’t sit still, so he was standing. Not that he could stand still either.
He was so excited to see Lucie that he couldn’t stop bouncing on the balls of his feet. Before, he’d been pacing around the gate entrance and checking his phone for the time every five minutes. The passengers were all coming out now, and Will was scanning the crowd to look for his daughter.
“Lucie!” Will yelled out, smiling at the thought of seeing his daughter again.
“Hello,” a soft voice said from behind him, and Will turned around to see a young girl who must’ve been a little younger than Lucie. She had black hair put up in two pigtails, and dark brown eyes. “Are you Will Herondale?”
“Yes,” Will answered slowly. “Who-” Will stopped after getting another good look at her face. No… There was no way it could be her. Yet at the same time, the girl looked an awful lot like Jem Carstairs and Tessa Gray.
“I don’t know if you remember me or not,” the girl started shyly, “But I’m Mina, Mina Carstairs.”
Will couldn’t look away. “Mina,” he whispered. “How could I ever forget you?” He quickly bent down and wrapped his daughter up in a bone-crushing hug. “Mina,” he said again into her hair. “I never thought I’d see you again.”
Mina hugged back just as tight. “Is it okay if I call you Papa like Lucie does?” she asked softly.
Will laughed, and took that moment to rub the tears from his eyes. He would admit to crying --he’d missed Mina dearly. “Of course you can,” he said. “That’s what you did when you were a baby. We’re not biologically related, but you’re still my daughter too. That’s how we always planned on raising you and the others.”
There was a moment of comfortable silence where neither of them let go of each other, but eventually Mina separated them. “James is with Dad,” she told him, smiling. “And Lucie is with Mom.”
“I wondered,” Will said, and laughed again. “I have no idea how all this happened, but if anyone could pull this off it would be you three. I’m guessing you met at camp?”
Mina nodded. “Lucie was my roommate,” she stated, then paused. “James and I met in the cafeteria on the first day, but, well.” Mina smiled, a hint of mischief in her eyes. She had Jem’s eyes but Tessa’s smile, and it made Will’s heart ache. “We sort of got into a prank war. I may or may not have started it.”
“Oh?” Will asked, delighted. “Truly a girl after my own heart. You must take after me; I was undefeated at prank wars, back in the day.”
Mina took his hand, and he grabbed her suitcase with the hand not occupied. Together, they started walking out of the gate area. “My brother taught me a lot of pranks, you’d love him.” Mina said, swinging their hands slightly.
Will snapped his head to her direction. “James?” he beamed. “How is he, is he doing well?” He had raised Lucie and reunited with Mina, but Will hadn’t seen James in a very long time. Will had often thought about James and Mina and wondered how they were doing. He’d missed them both very much, and couldn’t believe he was seeing Lucie again after so long. It was a huge relief that his other children seemed to be doing well.
Mina’s eyes widened. “Oh. I guess you wouldn’t know.”
After hearing her words, Will felt like someone had doused him in ice cold water. His heart beat faster as he imagined a thousand different things that could have possibly happened to his son, all bad. “Is he okay?” he asked, trying to keep calm.
“No, not like that!” Mina waved her arm frantically, as if to wipe away the scared look that must’ve shown on Will’s face. “It’s just that, James isn’t my only brother. I was actually talking about my older brother, Kit.”
Will frowned. “Older brother?” he asked. It would’ve made sense if Mina had said younger brother, since Jem could have always gotten together with someone else after the divorce and had another child. Will ignored the pain his heart felt when imagining Jem with someone else. A child older than Mina wouldn’t make sense however, since Jem hadn’t been with anyone before Will and Tessa. They had been Jem’s first relationship. First and only, Will’s mind reminded him. It was supposed to be first and only. It was supposed to be forever.
“Kit is adopted,” Mina clarified, and Will let out a sigh of relief. Not that he was relieved Jem hadn’t married and had a child with someone else or anything. If Jem married someone else, it wouldn’t be any of my business, Will told himself. “Dad knew Kit’s mom a long time ago, and when Kit’s parents died Dad took him in even though he had never even met Kit before.”
“That makes sense,” Will murmured, smiling. “Jem would do that. He’s always been the kindest person I’ve ever known.”
“He always wants to help people,” Mina agreed, giving him a quick look that he couldn’t interpret.
The two of them eventually made their way out of the airport, but Will couldn’t stop thinking of his past loves and their children. Lucie was with her mother and James was with his other father, but the three of them would have to be switched back. Will would finally see his family all in one room and complete again, after all those years. Thinking about it made him anxious and excited at the same time.
He couldn’t wait.
-----------------------------------------------------------------
Jem Carstairs held back a laugh, knowing that if he did laugh then Kit would be offended. They were currently waiting in the airport for Mina to get off her flight, and Kit wouldn’t stop tapping his feet or messing with his hands. Jem himself wasn’t as fidgety, but he did miss his daughter and couldn’t wait to see her. He knew Kit would be too embarrassed to directly tell Mina that he missed her, but his nervous ticks while waiting for her gave him away. It always amused Jem, when Kit tried to hide the feelings that were so obviously exposed by his actions.
“Oh, they’re coming!” Kit exclaimed, pointing to the now open doors where people were rushing into the airport after getting off the plane. Both Jem and Kit quickly stood up and started looking for Mina.
A lot had happened since Mina had left for camp. One of Jem’s coworkers retired, and Jem had to pick up a lot more patients than usual when the hospital had trouble replacing him. He’d been busy throughout the time Mina had been gone, as they’d only found a good replacement a few days back. So Jem had spent more time at the hospital, though of course he went home and spent almost all of the time he wasn’t working with Kit.
There had also been a new, unexpected development: Jem now had a girlfriend, Zara Dearborn. Zara was hired as a nurse a couple months ago, and they’d often work together. She was a smart woman with great wit, and she was always so kind to her patients and to him. When Zara asked him out, he couldn’t say no. He had finally felt comfortable introducing her to Kit and having her over at the house in the past few weeks, and Kit seemed to have a neutral opinion on her. Jem had hoped for a more positive reaction, but he knew that if Zara and Kit just spent more time together, they’d grow to like each other.
Jem hadn’t told Mina about Zara yet. He figured that it would be best to talk to his daughter about his girlfriend in person, rather than over the phone. Today was a family day that Jem wanted to spend with his children only, but he would introduce them soon. He hoped that Mina and Zara would get along. As much as he liked Zara --and he did, so much that recently he was considering getting an engagement ring-- his children would always matter more to him, and that was final.
“Excuse me,” a voice said, and a young boy walked up to them. He had curly black hair, gray eyes that looked almost gold in the light, and looked to be a little older than Mina. “Are you the Carstairs family?”
Jem recognized him instantly.
“Yeah,” Kit answered, raising an eyebrow. “Do you know us?”
“James,” Jem breathed out, barely believing what was right in front of his eyes. “Jamie. Is that you?”
Kit looked between them, alarmed. “Uh, I’m not sure what I’m missing here and why both of you suddenly look like you're going to cry, but an explanation would be nice.”
“Dad,” James called with a shaky voice, and he stepped forward. Jem stepped closer as well, and in no time at all he was holding the son he hadn’t seen in so long. He could barely believe this was happening.
It had been many years since Jem had last seen his other son, and James had grown up to look a lot like Will Herondale with Tessa Gray’s eyes. Jem couldn’t help but love him more than ever before. He had no idea how James was here instead of Mina or how they’d figured out the truth in the first place, but Jem wasn’t complaining. He missed Mina, but it felt like a lifetime since he’d last seen James. Jem thought of Lucie, and if she was also involved in this somehow. He hadn’t seen Lucie in just as long, and he missed his other daughter.
James slowly let go of him, bringing his head up from where it had been buried in his dad’s shirt. His hands were trembling. “I didn’t know if you remembered me or not,” he whispered, wiping at his eyes.
Jem crouched down so that they were eye level, resting a hand on his son’s shoulder. “I would never forget you,” he told him honestly, his eyes tearing up. After all these years, he still thought of James and Lucie often. It wasn’t possible for him to forget and stop missing his own children. “And I never stopped loving you, either.”
James looked like he was going to cry again, but instead pulled Jem in for another hug. Looking over his shoulder, Jem locked eyes with Kit, who was looking back at him with wide eyes.
“Dad,” Kit said, the bewilderment clear in his voice. “Did you have a secret kid or something? Though if he’s named after you it couldn’t have been secret.” He paused, thinking out loud at this point. “I mean I guess James is a common enough name, it could be coincidence. He is your son, right? I’m assuming because he called you dad which didn’t seem to surprise you, and you seem to know him, but if this is just some huge misunderstanding-”
“Kit,” Jem interrupted, amused. He and James let go of each other, and Jem stood up straight. “He’s my son. Mina’s other parents and I, we had two other children aside from Mina.”
“The three of us met at camp,” James explained, looking happy to clear things up. “We figured out we were all siblings and switched flights. Lucie is with Mom in New York, and Mina is with Papa in London.”
“Switched flights?” Jem asked, surprised. “How did you manage that?”
“You’re better off not knowing.” James said after a slight pause, and avoided eye contact. Jem raised an eyebrow but didn’t ask any other questions on the topic.
“Huh,” Kit said.
“Lucie,” Jem said. “It’s been so long. How is she, is she doing okay? Are you doing okay?” Jem was desperate to know that his other children were alright, that they grew up happy and healthy.
“I’m good! And Lucie, she’s good too. She’s very…” James hesitated, likely searching for a good descriptor. “Excitable.” He said the word slowly, as if it was a word from a book that he’d read but never actually said out loud before.
Jem laughed. “She sounds like Will at that age.”
Kit blinked. “Will?”
“Will Herondale and Tessa Gray, Mina’s other parents,” Jem replied, answering the unasked question. “They’re also the other parents of James here, and Lucie who you’ve yet to meet.”
“What happens now?” Kit asked. “We have to get everyone back together eventually, right?”
Jem wondered how that meeting would go. He hadn’t seen Will and Tessa in so long, but he had never forgotten them. There were many years when Jem thought that he’d never be able to fall in love with anyone else. Zara wasn’t the first person to ask him out, but Jem had always said no before. No relationship could ever compare to what he’d once had, and it took a while for Jem to realize that that was okay. When Zara had asked him out on a date, Jem decided to say yes, and he didn’t regret it. He really did love Zara, and they were happy, but he couldn’t help but wonder if old feelings would resurface if he saw Will and Tessa again. He decided to save those thoughts for later.
There were James, Mina, and Lucie to think about. They would all have to meet up to switch back eventually, but Jem liked to focus on the part where he’d be able to see all of his children, including Kit, together. He’d missed James so much, he wanted to see Mina after being separated, and he ached to see Lucie again. The idea of all three of his younger children interacting with Kit also made him happy.
Jem preferred to focus on the positive side of things, and he couldn’t wait to see all of his children happy and together.

Kit Herondale Fic - Am I Enough?
Summary: Kit wonders if he has what it takes to be the big brother Mina deserves and goes to Alec for some advice, which proves to be really useful.
-
It was funny, Kit thought as he got up from Magnus’ fancy couch, leaving his parents happily chatting with Jace as he retold some of his favorite memories with Alec. Everyone saw Jace as this untouchable hero, an example of glory and fierceness, even Jace himself thought that, Kit was certain, but nobody was more worth of admiration to Jace than Alec, that much was clear in the way he looked at his parabatai for affirmation every time he spoke in public, the anchoring hand he would always lay on Alec’s shoulder before battle and the softness of the words whispered between them.
Alec was Jace’s hero in every sense of the world. Alec was everything Kit hoped he could be to Mina, little Mina that would hang on to his finger like her life depended on it, who would smile at him every time he picked her up, Mina, who he would die for and live for and do anything and everything for. His light and wild rose, she was so much more than he deserved, but Kit was determined to be exactly who she needed.
That determination is what kept Kit going as he walked into Magnus and Alec’s kitchen, finding the Consul of the Shadowhunters, the highest authority of their people, one of their most skilled and wisest members, with glitter all over his hair and a well-intended, but still tragically messy rainbow on his cheek, courtesy of his son, Rafael, who looked quite proud of himself.
— Yes, now you are ready for the party! — Rafe announces, putting the paint-brush down.
— Thank you for that, I am sure I look... — Alec stops, looking over to Kit, noticing his presence. — Interesting? — He completes, hesitant.
— That is one way to put it. — Kit answers, barely containing a laugh.
— He looks gay! — Rafael says, fiercely, crossing his arms.
— I look what now? — Alec asks, confused, but still entertained.
— You heard the kid. — Kit is laughing now, not being able to help it.
— Gay, dad. Papa told me gay means happy as well! He said you would be gay twice if I made you happy on your birthday! — Rafael explains, looking offended his point wasn’t understood. — I know how much you like my drawings, so I made you a gay one, like the flag we bought last week. — Kit feels like he is intruding a lovely family moment, but he is too touched by Rafe’s dedication to miss the scene. Alec smiles and bows down to kiss his son’s forehead.
— Gracias, hijo. — He says, messing his hair up in sequence. — I do love your drawings and I love you even more. — Rafe smiles back to his dad, pleased with himself. He gets off the table, where he was sitting to be able to paint his dad’s face, and runs to the living room.
— He is adorable, you know. — Kit says and Alec smirks.
— Yeah, he really is. I’m lucky. — Alec’s words are simple and direct, like many things about him are, but they stick with Kit. Before he met his family, he used to think love was a complicated, painful and disastrous thing, like what his dad seemed to feel for his mom and for Kit himself, like the lies and betrayal he saw in the Shadow Market, like the tricks he pulled as well. It was only after getting to know Tessa and Jem that Kit noticed love was quite simple, that good, real love was calm and peaceful and felt like home. The trust and the care he learned from them made Kit understand that loving somebody is not about the big gestures and dramatic moves, it is about knowing someone inside out and still staying, not because you desperately needed them, but because you desperately wanted them.
Alec’s love for his family was a lot like the one Jem and Tessa had, the love they shared with Mina and Kit. That is what prompted Kit to come after Alec today, seeking some guidance in how to present this very same type of love to his little sister.
— Alec, could I ask you something? I know it is your birthday and I don’t want to bother you, but I promise it will be fast-
— Kit, just ask it. You’re not bothering me. — Alec cuts his rambling off and Kit is grateful for that, not even understanding why he is so nervous. Ever since he moved in with Tessa and Jem, he had met Alec many times and grew quite close with his family as well, since Tessa was one of Magnus’ oldest friends. If there was one thing he knew, it was that Alec could never be anything other than kind towards him.
— Okay, sure. Good. — He answers, eyes casting down. — This is probably a weird question, but... How did you make sure you were the brother your siblings needed? Because, honestly, Jace and Izzy adore you and it seems so effortless to you that it blows my mind. I have known Mina her whole life, which is not much, you know? She is only one. But, for her, it is a lot of time! Still, I don’t know what I’m doing.  I feel like- By the Angel, like she needs so much more than I can give her. That is insane, I get it, her favorite word at the moment is poop and she adores to scream it at the top of her lungs every time we’re out, of course she doesn’t have great expectations right now, but she  will someday and I don’t think I will be able to be who she needs me to be. Will I even deserve all the trust she puts in me? All the love she gives me? Will I even-
— Kit, stop. — Alec firmly demands and Kit is so shocked by the action that he finally turns to look at him. It is quite astonishing to find a sly smile on Alec’s lips. — Just stop, okay? You’re overthinking away too much, trust me: I have been there. It was never effortless to me, quite the opposite. I spent most of my life doubting I could be the right person to keep my siblings safe. When Max-
He stops, swallows dryly, seeming to gather himself for what he is about to say before speaking again.
— When Max died, I was destroyed. I felt like I failed him. Somedays I still do, so does Izzy, so does Jace. Still, I know Max would never think that of us, he knows Sebastian is the only one to blame for what happened. —  His expression softens for a moment and Kit hopes he didn’t bring out any hard memories on such a happy day. — What I’m trying to say is that you will never feel like you’re enough or like you know what you’re doing, it will always be hard and the idea of letting Mina down will always be scary. There is no running away from that.
— So, I will just feel this terrified forever? — He is well aware of how disturbed he sounds, but can’t help it when Alec just dropped this bomb on him.
— No, not if you learn one little thing, that took me many years to understand. — Alec’s voice is soft now; the tone Kit only ever saw him use around his family.
— And what is that?
— Mina already thinks you’re the everything she needs. She already thinks you deserve all the love and trust she gives to you. You know why? — Alec questioned and Kit just stared blankly at him, not knowing what to say. — Because, every single day, you get up and choose to try your best to make her happy and keep her safe. That is all she needs from you: to never stop trying. She doesn’t want you to drive yourself crazy or sacrifice anything for her. I once thought the same, I was sure I could never be myself or be happy, if I wanted my siblings to be proud of me. I thought that was the only way I could protect them. Angel, how I was wrong. All they ever wanted was for me to be exactly who I am. — He glares at Jace laughing loudly in the living room, Izzy rolling her eyes at him, but still smiling softly at her brother shortly after, and something shifts inside of Kit.
That is what he wants for his and Mina’s future. He wants her to laugh at him until they are both out of breath, he wants her look at him with the just right combination of exasperation and affection, to still grab his hand when she is scared and run to his arms when she is happy.
— So... You are saying that I should just be myself? — Kit queries and Alec nods, as if he just asked him if the sky was blue.
— Yes, as cheesy as it sounds, just keep doing what you’re doing and I’m sure you will be fine.
— But what if who I am is not enough, Alec? — His voice cracks and he hates how obvious his uncertainty is, but Alec doesn’t shudder.
— Kit, you are more than enough. The fact you even question it already shows you are, that is why you care so much. Still, I know, better than most, that I can’t be the one to tell you that. Any words will fall flat if you don’t believe in it. Look, I wouldn’t worry too much about Mina if I were you. She already adores you. Maybe just focus on believing in yourself, make sure you see why she does. Do that, kid, and I can assure you all these doubts will vanish. — He lays a hand in his shoulder and squeezes it, dropping it shortly after.
— That was really... Wise. — Kit blurted out, trying to absorb what he just heard.
— Don’t sound so surprised. — Alec jokes and Kit can’t help but fell an overwhelming sense of gratitude settling in his chest.
— Thank you for saying all of that. It really helped, like, you have no idea how much. — Kit thanked him; glad he had gone to Alec with his questions.
— You’re welcome. — He calmly responded, just as Izzy entered the kitchen with an empty glass.
— Alec, where do you keep the wine? Because I’m sure Magnus is hiding the good stuff from me! — She claims, coming to rest against the door way.
— If I told you where he keeps it, I will probably have divorce files on my desk by morning. — Alec playfully provokes his sister, that just waves his concern away with a hand.
— Fine, for the sake of your marriage, I will just have you ask him for me. — Then, upon realizing Alec’s lack of interest in the idea, she pouts, moving to hang on Alec’s shoulder. — Please? — He looks down at her and sighs.
— As you please. — She claps in excitement and kisses him in the cheek.
— I’ll be waiting! — Izzy announces, before leaving the kitchen.
— Are you good? — Alec asks Kit once his sister disappears into the living room.
— I will be. — Kit answers and he is only half faking the confidence in his voice, so he takes that as a win.
— Yeah, you will. — Alec confirms as he walks away, Kit on his tow. He drops himself back in the couch, deep in thought. He is startled when a tiny hand grabs his left leg. Once Kit looks down, he finds Mina holding on tight to him to push herself up. He smiles down at her as she stands, her grip on Kit so strong he wonders if that is some sort of Shadowhunter-Warlock baby superpower.
— Min-Min, you are getting though. — He proudly states. Mina giggles, as if she understands what he’s saying and puts both of her hands up, a common indication she wants to be picked up by him.
Kit gladly does so, placing his sister in his lap. She wiggles her little feet up as she rests her head against his chest, one of her hands coming to grip the collar of his shirt. She must probably be tired, her nap time coming up, but Kit tells himself he’ll soon put her down in Rafe’s bed like Magnus offered, even though he knows he most likely won’t. He holds her against his heart as she dozes off, feeling her hand relaxing the grip in order to rest against his heart, her five little perfect fingers going up and down with every heartbeat beneath them.
In that moment, he’s absolutely sure they’ll be just fine, not because he’s perfect or sure he will never make mistakes, but simply because he loves her away too much to be anything other than his very best self.

To Be So Lonely
Pairing: Bakugou Katsuki x Midoriya Izuku
Warnings: alpha/beta/omega dynamics, violence, strong language, homosexual behavior, major character death {not bakudeku}
Word Count for Chapter: 3,715 words
Summary: Midoriya Izuku has always wanted to be a musician. Something about the lyric working with a melody to convey his feeling just made his heart race. After his father died when he was three, Izuku has always relied on his mother. She worked two jobs to care for him and always supported his dreams. But when his mother is diagnosed with breast cancer just after he graduated high school, Izuku has to shift his focus. Now he’s working two jobs and takes care of his mother with the help of his gay neighbors.
In an attempt to learn self-defense, Izuku takes a few classes at a local gym. It’s there that he meets Toshinori Yagi, an older beta who used to be a professional heavyweight boxer. Yagi notices Izuku’s potential and encourages the small omega to eventually go pro. So, in order to make more money, Izuku eventually agrees.
Bakugou Katsuki has only ever wanted to fight. Orphaned as the young age of four, Katsuki has been fighting to live for his entire life. Fighting is all he’s ever known. After fighting underground for a couple years, Katsuki is noticed by Todoroki Enji. The older alpha takes him in at 19 and names him the official successor of his legacy (especially since all of his actual kids hate him).
 Now, Katsuki is 25-years-old and the professional heavyweight champion.
In a whirlwind of events, Katsuki meets Izuku in the unlikeliest of places. He watches the small omega perform and can’t help it feel extremely protective and absolutely enamored with him. The older alpha gets to meet him and say goodbye without even learning the omega’s name. Katsuki isn’t sure that they’ll ever meet again.
That is, until Katsuki officially meets Izuku at a professional lunch with his manager’s rival.

The one where Katsuki is a professional alpha boxer with arrogance issues and Izuku is a stubborn omega that’s way little too reckless with his well-being.
With a wacky cast of characters (including three idiots, a manly best friend, a traumatized bastard with daddy-issues, and many more) absolutely hell-bent on getting them together, neither men can seem to catch a break

It was nice seeing you after all these years, Enji.”
Izuku mentally groaned as Toshinori kept talking to the overgrown alpha. Their lunch had long since ended, so the small omega just wanted to head across the street and begin his warm-up.
And to get away from Katsuki Bakugou, who had been staring at him since this whole shit-show started.
Endeavor huffed in agreement and glanced in Izuku’s direction. “Your successor seems very headstrong, so I can’t wait to see how he fares today.”
I love that he’s talking like I’m not here.
“He’ll exceed your expectations. Let’s head out, Izuku.”
Izuku immediately relaxed, wagering standing to follow Toshinori out of the restaurant. His dress (which had been forced on him by Uraraka, who said something about looking nice for a certain alpha) brushed against his knees and tickled his legs.
Honestly, he couldn’t leave fast enough.
The small omega followed his teacher towards the exit, nodding respectively in Endeavor’s direction. And Todoroki’s.
When his gaze landed on Bakugou, he simply looked ahead.
The outside air caressed Izuku’s soft skin and made him sigh in relief. Compared to the tension in the restaurant, the slightest amount of breeze felt like a god-send.
“Young Bakugou seems very interested…”
Toshinori’s voice was teasing and affectionate, but Izuku immediately stiffened. There is no way that they were talking about the same alpha.
Izuku hummed lowly, adjusting his jacket. “I disagree, sensei. He seems arrogant and insufferable with a need to prove that he’s stronger than anybody else.”
“I think he’s just concerned for your well-being.”
The small omega huffed, his cheeks flushed a rosy pink as he glanced at his teacher. The idea of an attractive alpha feeling protective over him was flattering yet incredibly infuriating.
Izuku is here for one reason and one reason only.
“Deku! Wait!”
Fucking fuck.
Toshinori stopped and glanced behind them, his face lighting up in amusement. “It seems like someone wants to speak with you, Izuku. Don’t take too long and I’ll see you inside.”
The small omega paled.
Traitor.
His teacher hobbled away, chuckling to himself.
The familiar smell of caramel and cinnamon greeted Izuku’s senses. It was more than comforting, which made the small omega feel slightly mortified.
Izuku sighed in defeat and turned to face Bakugou, who had a less intense scowl on his face. His suit looked messier than before and the alpha appeared as if he had fought someone to catch up with him.
“What do you want?”
Bakugou didn’t even flinch at Izuku’s tone. “Nothing. I just wanted to-“
Izuku cut him off, crossing his arms. “If you’re to lecture me on my own idiocy, then don’t even try. You don’t even know me.”
“I just want to understand.”
That was enough to make Izuku freeze.
Izuku’s chest tightened as he locked eyes with alpha, who looked less angry than he had been during lunch. “There isn’t anything to understand. I’m doing this for the same reason as anyone else.”
Bakugou’s red eyes glinted. “But I’ve seen you perform, Deku. You fucking love music.”
“Stop calling me that.”
The alpha raised an eyebrow, smirking slightly. “I like that it pisses you off, so no. And don’t change the subject.”
Izuku scoffed. “Why are you so desperate to understand me? You shouldn’t concern yourself with my wellbeing.”
“Honestly? I have no fucking clue.”
Bakugou’s words hung in the air and floated amongst the tension. Izuku was a bright red as they stared at each other, searching for any sign of challenge.
Izuku swallowed thickly, looking away from the alpha. “Look, I’m well aware of the risks. I’ve been boxing underground for over a year and struggling to learn how to protect myself.”
“What if you get bitten, though?” Bakugou’s voice was rough.
The small omega sighed, anxiously rubbing his palm with his thumb. “As I said earlier, they would have to catch me first.”
Bakugou nodded after a moment, still studying him. “I still don’t understand your fucking need to be reckless. I also don’t get how everyone seems so fucking okay with it!”
“It’s not your job to worry about me.”
The alpha chuckled at that. “But someone obviously fucking needs to. I don’t give a shit about what your supposed friends think, but you’re going to be eaten alive tonight.”
Izuku’s eyes narrowed. “Yeah?”
“Yeah.”
The small omega hummed and took a few steps forward. Bakugou froze, his breath quickening as Izuku’s face became centimeters away from his own.
I hate that he smells so nice.
Izuku chuckled, pulling away from the surprised alpha. “Then I guess you’ll have to watch. I don’t need your concern and I certainly don’t need your fucking protection, Kacchan.”
Bakugou blinked, still processing. “What the fuck did you just call me?!”
“Kacchan.” Izuku purred smugly, stepping back. “Good luck on your match tonight. Not that you’ll need it, of course.”
The alpha snapped out of his daze, his skin flushing at the compliment. “Hold on a damn second, shitty Deku-“
Izuku ignored him and walked briskly towards the entrance to the venue. His own heart was racing in his chest from the interaction, especially since Bakugou was obviously just as enamored as him.
He glanced back, smirking softly.
“I’ll see you later, Kacchan.”

“-and it was like his brain short-circuited.”
“No shit?! I would’ve paid cash to see that!”
“So manly, Bakubro!”
Katsuki growled loudly as his idiots ran around him in circles. Todoroki, who had been re-telling the events of lunch, smirked at him with as much smugness his stupid face could muster.
Nobody was doing their fucking job.
Sero and Mina were supposed to be preparing the med-kit supplies for the match, but they were fucking around and wrapping bandages around Kaminari’s head. Kirishima was supposed to be talking strategy with him, but he was talking excitedly with Todoroki.
And that half-n-half bastard?
He was reveling in Katsuki’s embarrassment.
“I swear to fucking god…” Katsuki huffed, his eye visibly twitching. “I will fucking end each and every one of you if you don’t shut the fuck up!”
Everyone froze.
Kirishima laughed awkwardly, obviously trying to ease the tension. “Don’t be so angry, Bakubro. We’re all just excited that you’re finally interested in somebody…”
Katsuki flushed a bright red. “I’m not fucking interested in that shitty nerd Deku! I just don’t want to see a weak bastard get eaten alive!”
“Sure, Blasty, sure.” Mina muttered sarcastically.
Don’t commit homicide.
Don’t commit homicide.
Sero looked at Katsuki with an indifferent expression, a used roll of bandages in his hand. “You’re acting like being interested is a bad thing. We’re not saying that you wanna fuck the dude, Bakugou.”
Katsuki grumbled loudly, trying to hide his embarrassment.
I totally fucking do, and that’s what’s embarrassing.
“…unless you do…”
The red-eyed alpha clenched his jaw and growled indignantly in Kirishima’s direction. “I totally fucking don’t, Shitty Hair! Who the fuck would even be into a shitty nerd like Deku?!”
Kirishima, Mina, and Todoroki shared a glance.
Sero and Denki simply snorted.
“I thought he was cute.” Todoroki spoke evenly, his eyes challenging Katsuki. “I found his confidence quite attractive.”
Katsuki stiffened, his stomach churning at the idea of Deku and Icy-Hot interacting at all. Red hot jealousy bloomed in his chest and spread like a wildfire throughout his body.
I think the fuck not.
“Someone looks jealous.” Mina sang smugly, making Katsuki scoff.
Todoroki hummed in agreement.  “He does. If I wasn’t emotionally invested in an omega from my office, I’d pursue Midoriya out of spite.”
Kirishima perked up at the news. “You’re interested in an omega? Since when?!”
And just like that, the focus shifted.
Katsuki silently got to his feet and walked around the small locker-room. His match wasn’t till the end of the tournament, but he usually watched other matches with Kirishima and critiqued their strategy.
It’s a tradition at this point.
What the fuck happened earlier?
Deku stood so fucking close to him. All Katsuki could smell was chocolate and cherries with the faintest hint of vanilla, which hadn’t been noticeable before. His stupidly cute face was so close that Katsuki could’ve kissed him.
And then he fucking left.
Deku left and turned back with a stupid smirk that screamed sexual innuendos in Katsuki’s direction. He called the alpha a ridiculous name, and Katsuki fucking let him.
What the fuck is wrong with me?
“Alright, bro. You ready to go watch some matches?”
Katsuki snapped out of his memory-filled daze and grunted in response. “Let’s go watch some losers, Shitty Hair. I need to relax before I kick Togata’s ass tonight.”
Kirishima grinned. “And maybe impress a certain omega?”
“Shut up.”
Both alphas headed out of the locker-room and towards the arena. There was a specific box that Enji rented at every tournament specifically so he could watch. He didn't seem to mind that Katsuki did the same thing.
Even if he did, Katsuki didn’t care.
The sound of screaming fans, alphas and omega alike, immediately made Katsuki cringe. He could barely make out a few words, but he didn’t care enough to process any of them.
In the ring, an alpha female and a beta female were kick-boxing.
We’re still in this part of the tournament.
Good.
“OH FUCK! Hagakure delivers a stunning roundhouse kick!”
Katsuki took a seat a little ways away from Enji and focused on the match. It was Yaoyorozu vs Hagakure. He had seen them in regular boxing, so it wasn’t that much of a surprise to see them deviate sometimes.
As a beta, Hagakure was shorter and relied heavily on her legs. She was known for being a skilled southpaw, so upper-arm-strength wasn’t out of the question.
Yaoyorozu was one of the few female alphas that Katsuki’s met in his life. She could be jumpy at times, but she also struggled with predicting/preparing for her opponents moves. She relied on her height to get in close and hardly receive any damage to her face.
Katsuki fought her once or twice. She’s definitely skilled.
“I think Hagakure strained her left leg.” Katsuki murmured, watching the way that the beta favored her left side.
Kirishima narrowed his eyes and leaned forward.  “I think you’re right. Yaoyorozu hasn’t noticed yet, though.”
Katsuki shrugged. “She will. Eventually.”
Sure enough, Yaoyorozu glanced at Hagakure’s feet and her eyebrows furrowed in surprise. As the beta pulled back to land another kick, the female alpha hit her in the face with multiple jabs.
As soon as Hagakure was distracted, Yaoyorozu landed a harsh kick to her left leg and swept them out from under her.
The beta didn’t get back up.
As the crowd and commentator went wild, Katsuki sat back and glanced at Kirishima. “I told you that Ponytail would notice. She’s been training.”
“It’s a good thing that we didn’t bet this time.”
“Yeah. You would’ve fucking lost.”
Before Kirishima could respond, the familiar sound of an intermission rang through the air. They had about ten minutes till the next match, so the sound was to let people know that there was a break.
Katsuki cringed at the sound.
“After our break, we’ll see the professional debut of Midoriya Izuku against a crowd favorite, Monoma Neito!”
And that was enough to make Katsuki freeze.
Oh fuck.
Fuck. Fuck. Fuck.
Monoma was an arrogant bastard that Katsuki hates with every fiber of his being. He was an alpha with a history of distaste for omegas, leading to an ever-growing fan base of shitty alphas.
Not only would he hate Deku, but he would try and rile him up the whole time.
This wouldn’t be a fair fight.
“Bakugou? You look pale.”
Katsuki snapped out of his daze and locked eyes with Kirishima. “I’m fucking fine, Shitty Hair. Monoma just pisses me off.”
Kirishima’s gaze softened. “You don’t have to watch, you know? I can just tell you what happened after the match is over.”
“I don’t need your pity. I’m fine.”
“Okay, bro. Whatever you say.”

“There. Feel tight enough?”
Izuku took his gloved hand away from Uraraka and moved his wrists. “They feel great. Thanks for being here, Uraraka.”
Uraraka grinned brightly, her hair pulled back in a messy ponytail as she went over Izuku’s things again. “Of course! Iida and I wouldn’t miss this for the world, Deku! Plus, Aizawa threatened to ground us if we didn’t……”
Sounds about right.
“Midoriya! Where is your mouth guard?!”
Izuku glanced over at Iida, who had a professional-looking med-kit in hand. “I put it in my bag…I think…”
Iida sighed and bolted to Izuku’s gym bag, muttering things under his breath. He and Uraraka had been his friends ever since high school, long before Izuku’s mom got sick.
They graduated a little over a year ago.
Now Uraraka is attending University to be a teacher and Iida is studying to be a doctor. Sometimes, the older alpha will come over and give Izuku’s mom a once-over. His family helps out a lot with her treatment.
But not enough.
Which is why Izuku is here in the first place.
“Your mouth-guard is important, Midoriya!” Iida chided, handing the omega a green piece of plastic.
Izuku hung his head, slightly embarrassed that the alpha was reprimanding him. “I was training late last night. After the stuff this morning, I couldn’t remember if I packed it or not.”
Uraraka grinned, her eyes glinting mischievously. “Speaking of which….I saw you and Bakugou in front of the venue.”
Oh god.
“And it seemed pretty flirtatious, Deku.”
Izuku flushed a bright crimson, resisting the urge to hide his face. “It wasn’t flirting! He was just being stupidly overprotective when he didn’t have the right!”
Uraraka smirked. “Alphas tend to be protective over people they care about. Or, in your case, people they are attracted to.”
“I don’t think it’s like that.”
His best friend gave him a look before looking behind him. “Sensei?! What was your impression of Bakugou when you met him?”
Toshinori, who had been talking with a few betas, looked in their direction and grinned as he walked over. “Young Bakugou was very outspoken about his concern with Izuku’s second gender. He’s quite enamored.”
“My point exactly!”
Before Izuku could argue, a female referee appeared in the entrance to the locker-room.
It’s time.
**
**
Izuku feels nauseous.
The small omega can hear the crowd screaming as his opponent is announced, but his brain can barely process any of it. His silk robe (an emerald color) clung to his curves and covered his freckled skin.
Since he’s no longer underground, there’s no need for the bunny mask.
Then his name is announced and he’s shoved into the shark-infested water. Izuku focuses his gaze on the ring, acutely aware of his team following behind him in quick succession.
Izuku can feel the disgusted stares among the screaming.
“You’ll do great, my boy.”
Toshinor’s voice was gentle and firm as he made Izuku look at him. He looked proud and confident in his abilities, which made the omega feel better.
Izuku swallowed thickly as his robe was pulled off of him. “I’ll win. For you and for my mom.”
“I know you will.”
Izuku hugged him and turned to enter the ring.
His opponent is a short but burly alpha who was obviously slow on his feet. His blond hair was parted and his pale eyes were full of amused disgust.
“Alright, boys,” The referee crooned, her black hair tied back. “I want a clean and fair fight. No funny business or I will dish out some punishments.”
Izuku nodded, studying the alpha in front of him.
Monoma, however, ignored the omega’s attempt to touch gloves and retreated to his corner. He was smirking in Izuku’s direction, shamelessly checking out every inch of his body.
“And…FIGHT!”
Izuku stepped forward, carefully guarding his face and waiting for Monoma to make the first move. He needed a strategy, above all else.
Monoma smirked. “I didn’t think they’d make it this easy. Omegas can’t fight, doll. It’s a known fact.”
The small omega ignored him, staying carefully light on his feet as they circled each other. It was becoming obvious that Monoma just liked hearing himself talk, so he had to wait for an opening.
“You’re not mated? How pathetic.”
There.
His eyes flicker to the crowd when he talks. He’s speaking loud enough for them to hear, meaning that he wants to put on a show.
Monoma chuckled some more. “What? Too scared to make the first move? I can do this all-“
Izuku lunged and landed a right hook to the alpha’s jaw.
Retreat.
The small omega immediately retreated as Monoma stumbled back in surprise. The crowd fucking lost it, screaming a mix of cheers and curse words.
Monoma huffed, growling lowly in Izuku’s direction.
Then he charged.
Izuku dodged, guarding his face as Monoma initiated an onslaught of jabs and pummels. Sweat gathered on his brow and his breathing sped up as he looked for an opening.
There.
Izuku brought his leg up and kicked Monoma in the gut.
The larger alpha gasped in surprise, but that was the opening Izuku needed. In quick succession, the small omega hit him with three jabs and a left hook.
Not without consequence, though.
“You fucking bitch!!”
Monoma growled loudly and landed a solid left hook to Izuku’s face.
Pressure, pain, and high-pitched ringing erupted from his right side. Izuku grunted in a mix of surprise and pain, immediately retreating to his corner and settling into a guarding stance.
In his confusion, Izuku was attacked from the right side again.
Two kicks and a mix of punches pummeled themselves into Izuku’s stomach, making the small omega choke and gasp.
“Enough! Back off!”
Izuku gasped, still standing upright as the referee pulled Monoma back. He could taste blood in his mouth, but his adrenaline was too high to feel any pain.
My strength is in my legs.
I need to aim my kicks high enough to land on his face. The nose is the most sensitive, so it would be my safest bet.
Izuku hardened his gaze and glared at the alpha in front of him.
Monoma charged, heading straight for Izuku’s right side. This time, however, the small omega was prepared and effectively slipped.
As he ducked under, Izuku moved and delivered a high-kick to Monoma’s face. The alpha choked and stumbled backward, grasping his face as blood immediately started to pour.
Before the alpha can recover, Izuku charges and delivers strikes to Monoma’s jaw.
DING! DING!!
“That’s the bell! To your corners!”
Izuku backed off and retreated to his corner, sweating like a pig and gushing blood from his brow.
He sat down, allowing his team to work.
“You’re doing great, Deku!”
Uraraka’s voice sounded close by as Iida and Toshinori crowded him. The alpha got to work on bandaging his eyebrow as the beta placed the water spout between his bloody lips.
Izuku panted wildly, drinking the water. “He needs to get close to land a hit, sensei. I fucked up his nose, though.”
“You did.” Toshinori supplied, pulling the water away. “Don’t forget to parry. Meet his hits head on.”
Right.
“2nd round! On your feet!”
Izuku took a deep breath and got to his feet. He could see better without the flow of blood in his eyes, so he definitely noticed the look of hatred Monoma gave him.
Monoma looked pissed.
DING! DING!!
“Fight!”
Monoma moved first this time, furiously charging Izuku like a raging bull. Instead of dodging or slipping, the small omega met his kick head on.
Their legs clashed, which Monoma clearly didn’t expect.
Izuku used his body weight to shove the alpha backward, giving himself enough room to land a few side-kicks. He kept his moves fast and precise, knowing that any wasted second could make him lose.
Monoma swung, but he overcalculated.
Izuku dodged and landed a harsh upper-cut to the jaw. He could feel the crunch of bones and teeth, which was more than satisfying.
After that, Monoma didn’t stand a chance.
Before the alpha had a chance to recover, Izuku shoved him back with another side kick and prepared himself to finish the fight.
Roundhouse.
Izuku leaned back and put his entire body weight into the kick itself. He aimed high, specifically for Monoma’s broken nose, and fucking succeeded with a perfect landing. It was fucking perfect!
Monoma crumpled into a heap, completely unconscious.
“That’s a TKO! Midoriya wins the match!”
Izuku stumbled backward as the cheers rang loudly through the air. His right ear was still ringing, but he definitely heard most of them.
As he was swarmed by his team, Izuku glanced upward.
Katsuki Bakugou was watching and yelling animatedly from a private box. His face was red and he looked pumped as he grinned in Izuku’s direction.
That was the last thing Izuku saw before losing consciousness.

“Holy fucking SHIT!”
Katsuki watched as Deku’s team dragged him out of the ring, but his mind was running a mile a minute.
Despite taking multiple hits, Deku’s form was fucking perfect. Every move he made was carefully calculated and planned, along with a surprising amount of raw fucking power.
It was hot as fuck.
“Did you fucking see that!?” Kirishima was just as hyped as Katsuki, sounding hoarse from the amount of screaming they’d done.
Katsuki nodded, almost breathless as he glanced at his best friend. “I’ve never seen anyone TKO Monoma. I could probably fucking do it too, but Jesus fucking Christ.”
Kirishima met his gaze, smirking.
Oh no.
“He didn’t need your protection after all, bro.”
Katsuki swallowed thickly, shooting a mock glare in Kirishima’s direction before getting to his feet. “Shut the fuck up. Deku may have kicked that bastard’s ass, but he barely held up.”
Kirishima raised an eyebrow. “And where are you going?”
“I still have a fight to prepare for, dumbfuck.”

Am I forgotten ? (KitTy Fan Fic)
KitTy fan fic based on Kit and Ty’s flower cards (art by Cassandra Jean), to celebrate both the release of Ty’s latest flower card and Kitty’s appreciation week!
If you prefer reading it on AO3 or if you have missed the previous chapters, Link is here. AO3 Link - Am I forgotten?
Following Chapter is Chapter 6 - Lex malla, lex nulla
Kit and Ty did not make it far, as three Faeries suddenly appeared before them, blocking their path. As it was the case for Ty, to stay they stood out of the crowd was an understatement. The one standing in the middle was the tallest and the most elegantly clad. Dark velvet clothes with fine embroidery hugged the shapes of his lean body, the symbol of a broken crown visible on his silk shirt. He had long silvery blond hair framing his narrow face and tucked behind his pointy ears, and his deep blue eyes seemed to hold centuries of life in this world. He would have been stunning if not for the permanent scowl on his face. The other two, flanking him, had long dark hair and looked so alike they might have been twins. It was clear from their stance that they were Faerie knights.
Ty turned to Kit and whispered urgently. “That’s him. I need to interrogate him. Preferably without his two bodyguards.”
“Well met,” Kit said in his most cheerful voice.
“Well met,” the blond Faerie replied. “It seems as though you have lost your way.”
“Wrong,” Kit said. “I was lost, but I have been found.”
Ty shot him a disapproving look. The Faerie lifted a silvery eyebrow.
Kit dropped Ty’s hand to move his arm behind his back, slowly tracing his fingers along Ty’s side down to his hip until they finally rested on Ty’s… buttocks. He gently squeezed for added effect. God, how perfect. Ty startled, his eyes widening and his lips parting in shock, but made no further move. He was staring straight ahead, as if he could not bear to meet Kit’s eyes. A deep red had started to spread across his cheeks towards his temples.
The Faerie’s eyes had not missed the gesture and the scowl vanished from his face from one moment to another.
“Let me guess,” he said, his gaze moving between Kit and Ty. A genuine smile spread across his face. “You two are only here to have a good time.”
“Wrong again. We were here to have a good time, but my boyfriend is not feeling well. This place is too noisy, too… crowded. We are leaving.”
“Are you now?” The Faerie said, lifting both his eyebrows. His eyes, glittering with interest, were now roaming over Kit’s body. “The night is still young, and so are you. May I offer you some refreshments in a more private venue?”
Kit plastered a hesitant look on his face. “We are far from home. It would be nice if we could get our bearings before we leave.” The Faerie’s smile grew wider and, without a word, he whirled and started to move gracefully towards the back of the club, flanked by his two bodyguards. Kit and Ty followed.
“So, who is this guy?” Kit whispered in Ty’s ear, after - regretfully - dropping his arm from his back.
“A Faerie Prince. One of King Kieran’s many brothers. He was very close to the late King Arawn once.”
“Wow, wait a minute- a Prince ? How many laws are we planning to break tonight?”
“Twenty-seven,” Ty replied without blinking.
Kit whistled.
Ty turned to him, his eyes glittering, and the corner of his mouth lifted mischievously. “Lex malla, lex nulla,” he said in a deep, low voice. Kit couldn’t help but stare at Ty, at the way his soft lips shaped the words, gently pressing around the “M”, at the way his tongue rolled in his mouth at the “Ls”.
He had always thought Ty was beautiful, but right now the word that popped in his mind was HOT. So freaking HOT.
Tiberius Nero Blackthorn, you naughty boy.
“What about your vows as a Centurion?” Kit asked when he had regained his composure.
“A good Centurion once told me that vows of friendship… and love are stronger.”
Did Kit imagine the way Ty put an emphasis on the word love ?
****
They were seated in a very large high-ceilinged room, with no windows save for a glass roof through which one could see New York’s night sky.
A vampire waitress came in carrying flutes of champagne and presented them to Kit and Ty. They both declined.
“I am fine,” said the Faerie Prince, when she offered him a drink. He didn’t even bother to look up at her. His gaze was fixed on Kit and Ty, and a small smile was playing across his face, as if he were enjoying a private joke. “I am already drunk with the sexual tension between these two.”
Kit couldn’t help but look over at Ty, and their eyes met for a second before they both swiftly glanced away.
“The two of you haven’t done the deed yet, have you?” The Faerie Prince’s eyes were now sparkling with excitement. “When you do..." He opened both his hands and spread his long fingers wide, mimicking an explosion... or was it fireworks? "I am willing to pay a fortune to witness that. Name your price.”
Kit glanced at the bodyguards. They were looking at Kit and Ty with a stern expression on their faces, as if it hadn’t all been a show. It had been a joke, right? But… Faeries didn’t lie.
Kit stood. “Can we have a moment alone together? Just you and me.” He looked pointedly at the bodyguards. “I would prefer to discuss... the terms, privately.”
As if they had received a signal, the two knights started to move to stand before the Prince, who lifted his hand in a halting gesture as he paused to consider. They both froze.
Kit seized the opportunity. With slow, deliberate movements, he started to take his jacket off. He threw it on the nearest armchair. “You will see that I am unarmed.” He took his shirt off next, the muscles of his arms flexing as he lifted it leisurely over his head. When he was half naked, he spread his arms wide. “You can ask your knights to check the rest if you don’t believe me. I have nothing to hide.”
They did. As their hands moved over Kit’s body in search of weapons, Ty tensed. He was watching their every move, his fiery gaze fixed on their hands, as if he could burn a hole through them.
“Leave us,” said the Faerie Prince when they were done.
Ty rose from his armchair and moved to stand before Kit, his back to the Faerie Prince.
“Kit- I don't like this plan,” he said in a hushed, urgent voice. Kit noticed with a pang that he had started stroking his pendant again.
“Ty- Please, trust me. I know what I’m doing,” Kit replied.
Ty held Kit’s gaze for a moment, searching his eyes. Kit tried very hard to convey a message of confidence he wasn’t sure he really had.
Ty finally gave him a curt, stiff nodd. As he moved past Kit, the back of their hands brushed, sending an electric current through Kit’s entire body.
Kit didn’t trust himself not to go running to Ty, so he stared straight ahead until he heard the door close behind him.
When they were alone, the Faerie Prince rose from his chair. “Finally."
In two strides of his long legs, he had joined Kit and stood before him, so close Kit could feel his breath over his skin. He smelled of cloves. The Prince lifted his hands to place them on each of Kit’s biceps.
“You love him,” he said without preamble.
Kit swallowed hard. “Is it that obvious?”
“The question you are asking yourself is, does he love you?”
“I know he doesn’t.” Kit tried to hide the despair in his voice but failed miserably.
The Faerie Prince lifted his silver eyebrows. “You know? Are you so powerful as to be able to read one’s heart?”
“He said as much. Or at least, that's what his words suggested. I don’t want to talk about it.” Kit had no intention to share his deepest feelings with a mere stranger. A Faerie Prince at that. There’s nothing if you aren’t there. Words meant for Livvy alone and no one else, especially not Kit. After all these years, they still stung as if they were new. A raw pain for an old wound.
“You make an interesting couple, the two of you,” said the Faerie after a moment. “The Shadowhunter who looks like a Faerie and... the Faerie who looks like a Shadowhunter.”
Kit gasped audibly. The Prince’s hands were now moving in circles over Kit’s bare chest, smooth fingers caressing his skin.
“You thought I would not be able to recognize my own kin? My own blood? I see him in you, you know… My father.”
Kit was unable to move, staring in shock as the Faerie’s long fingers started tracing the shapes of his abs. Distantly, he thought he heard the door open and close. The sound was so muted he wasn’t sure he hadn’t imagined it.
“Tell me, Christopher Herondale, who are you loyal to? Your royal blood family? Or your adoptive family?”
Tessa. Jem. Mina. Kit came to his senses and clenched his fists. He knew he didn’t need weapons to fight. The Prince would never know what had hit him. Kit would avoid knocking him out, of course, as Ty needed to interrogate him.
“I tend to stick with those trying to protect me instead of those trying to kill me. That’s how boring I am.”
As it turned out, Kit didn’t even have to lift a finger.
It all happened in a blur. The Faerie Prince’s hands which had moved over Kit's biceps suddenly froze, and his lips parted in shock. Ty had appeared behind him, as swift as a shadow, and was grasping a knife whose silvery blade was pressed against his throat. Ty’s hands were covered in blood… Probably from the two knights.
“I would have a few questions to ask you,” Ty said. His tone was as cold as ice. “But first... take your hands off my boyfriend, before I separate them from your body.”

Hii I’m here to request another fic 😁😁 could you maybe write one with prompt 9 (from the dialogue prompts) with kitty?? Ps I really love your fics🥰
Thank you so much!!! 💕
Kit was really tired. He had been in Devon for the past week, watching Mina while Tessa and Jem went to London to check out some unusual demon activity. Kit normally wouldn’t mind and would be off the walls to babysit his little sister, but honestly all he wanted to do was be with the Blackthorns this week.
   Julian and Emma had gotten married the day before Kit left, he also left behind his boyfriend who he very much wanted to be in the arms of, and his new parabatai and said boyfriend's sister.
   Don’t get him wrong, he absolutely loved Mina, and Tessa and Jem, but he could not have been happier at that moment to go home.
   Tessa made a portal for him, the other side opened in about two minutes. He said a quick goodbye to Mina and a lingering one to Tessa and Jem since he had only seen them for an hour before he left. He promised to come and see them again within the month but Jem and Tessa assured him it would be alright if they moved it to next month since all the excitement was happening with the Blackthorns.
   Kit stepped through the portal and landed in the entry hall of the LA institute, he was immediately gathered into a hug from his new parabatai Dru. He hugged her back, picking her up and spinning her in a circle before setting her back on the ground. She was laughing as she pulled away.
   “Why does it feel like you’ve been gone for so long!” She asked incredulously, a goofy smile on her face. Kit shook his head, warmth in his chest, a feeling he always got with Dru ever since they became parabatai. “I don’t know, but it honest to god felt like years.” He said laughing.
   Normally Ty would be the first one to greet him but Kit had purposefully told him the wrong date that he was getting back so he could surprise him. Dru smiled at Kit, her eyes crinkling in the corners.
   “He’s in the library. We can catch up later, I say movie night, and yes Ty can come.” She said laughing, answering his question before he had the chance to verbalize it. Kit smiled widely at her, pulling her into another hug. “This is why we’re parabatai!” He said excitedly before turning, bounding down the hall to the library. Dru’s laughter followed him.
   He slowed to a tip toe when he got closer to the library before opening the door softly. He knew that Ty most likely had his headphones on, but on the off chance he didn’t Kit didn’t want to be too loud.
   Kit saw Ty sitting on the couch, a book in his laps and sure enough his headphones covering his ears. Kit realized with a start that Ty was wearing his sweatshirt. Ty was taller and larger than he was but the sweatshirt fit big on Kit and perfect on Ty.
   Kit felt his cheeks grow hot and cursed Ty and his ability to make him blush by literally doing nothing. There was something endearing about seeing his boyfriend in his sweatshirt, something that pulled on his heart strings.
   He watched Ty with a fond smile for a while before finally coming up behind him, knowing full and well this was going to end badly for him, and hugged him from behind. Ty jumped, his book falling to the floor, and flipped Kit easily over the couch and onto the floor in front of him. Kit reminded himself to compliment Ty’s reflexes later.
   Kit’s back hit the ground hard and a little gasp escaped him, it didn’t matter though and his smile stayed glued to his face. Something that always happened with Ty.
   Ty’s eyes widened and he scrambled to help Kit up. Kit took his outstretched hand and let Ty pull him up. “I’m so sorry! Don’t scare me like that!” Ty said, pushing lightly at Kit’s shoulder. Kit laughed and looked at Ty with a mischievous smile. “What, you’re not happy to see me?” He asked innocently.
   Ty rolled his eyes at Kit’s antics and pulled him easily into his lap. Kit smirked, now much closer to Ty’s face. He was straddling Ty’s waist, his hands clasped behind Ty’s head. Ty just smiled and shook his head.
  “I’ve missed you.” Ty said softly before pulling Kit’s face up, their lips meeting for the first time in what felt like an eternity. Ty’s lips were soft, they quickly became Kit’s favorite feeling. The velvet of his lips somehow fit perfectly with his.
   Kit’s hands were woven into Ty’s hair, Ty’s were resting on Kit’s waist. Kit broke away and started trailing small kisses from the corner of Ty’s upturned lips down his neck. Ty sighed and nuzzled his face into Kit’s neck, successfully stalling Kit’s mouth.
   He smiled rubbing Ty’s back, letting Ty breathe him in. Kit knew Ty didn’t do well with change and hated it when Kit left, it’s why he tried not to do it all that much. Kit rested his chin on Ty’s ink black hair, his eyes drifting closed, a content smile playing at his lips.
   Kit wound his fingers into the material of Ty’s (well technically his) sweatshirt. “I love this sweatshirt.” Kit said softly, fingers still playing with the fabric. Ty pulled away, a slight blush gracing his cheeks. “Oh I’m sorry. I just missed you and it smelled like you but I didn’t know it was one of your favorites.” He said shyly, hands going to the hem of the sweatshirt to take it off. Kit’s hands met Ty’s and kept him from taking it off.
   Kit smiled at Ty, blue meeting gray. “You should keep it, it looks good on you.” He said quietly, enjoying the smile that lit Ty’s face. Kit moved his hand to cup Ty’s jaw and kissed him again softly. It quickly turned more heated when Ty’s tongue found the inside of Kit’s mouth.
   The sweatshirt in the end, stayed on the library floor all night until Ty came back to pick it up the next morning.

Under the Mistletoe
I’ve been holding onto this baby all year. Happy holidays!! Enjoy it the best you can with the ones you love
This is Part One. Read Part Two!!
Ao3
More Kit/Ty
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Shadowhunters were never much into Christmas. In this, they and Kit had in common. Johnny Rook thought Christmas as pointless and just another mundane marketing ploy. Though it was strange, when his first Christmas in this new realm approached, it was nice to know that he wouldn't be missing anything.
That's what he had thought, anyway. But it appeared that Tessa and Jem were much more interested in the holiday shenanigans. When Kit had woken on the 1 of December that year, he had come downstairs to find that the ghosts of Christmas past had vomited all over his house. Tinsel draped along the walls, shiny glass ornaments on a humongous tree. The scent of cinnamon drifting in from the kitchen. Then there was Jem and Tessa dancing together in front of the fireplace, Bing Cosby singing holiday cheer from Tessa’s vintage record player.
It had surprised him to say the least. Then again, Jem and Tessa weren't Shadowhunters anymore. They lived life in between, stuck in the middle of Downworld, Shadowhunters, and mundanes. His first Christmas with them had been daunting. They had opened their arms to him, wanted to give him love and warmth and acceptance. And that almost made it worse. Because Kit didn't know how to act. He felt awkward when someone asked what he wanted for Christmas, and then even more embarrassed when they actually gave him what he had asked for.
It's taken a few Christmas's for him to get the hang of it. Though Kit thought that a little bit of embarrassment would always stick with him. Now, years later, after adventure, after adventure, after adventure. Christmas came by again, and Kit found that he truly wanted it. He wanted the white snow, the cinnamon cookies, pine trees, candy canes, brightly wrapped presents, and, most importantly; a vision of cuddling by the fire, with the one he loved most.
It may not have been the first Christmas Kit spent with Ty Blackthorn, but it was the first where the Las Angeles Institute held the annual Christmas party. So maybe that meant something to him. Kit didn't really know exactly why he had decided that it would be this Christmas. This year. This...week. (Was it really so soon?) In which he would finally do it. Over the past years, they had both grown. Up, apart, up again, and back together. If anything. Kit learned what he should have already known. That Christopher Herondale and Tiberius Blackthorn, were written in the stars. Destined to be together, no matter what may come their way.
So it would be this year, this Christmas. Where Kit would do the most terrifying, horrifying, yet exciting, righteous, thing he had ever done.
Kit was going to ask Ty to marry him.
And if one was going to marry Tiberius Blackthorn, there were a few things that one needed to do.
First, one needed to notify the rest of the Blackthorn Clan, and let them know that you were marrying their brother. So that's what Kit had done. He had decided three weeks ago that it would be this Christmas, when he proposed to Ty. So, that same day, Kit drove to the house that Julian and Emma shared on the beach, (about a 40 minute drive from Kit and Ty's downtown apartment.) And knocked on the door.
He had been so nervous. When he had sat at the kitchen table with Julian and Emma. They had thought that something was wrong. But Kit had no doubts. None at all. He knew he would have no regrets. "I'm going to ask Ty to marry me." He blurted. Julian had choked on his tea, Emma had beamed. Kit knew he had to finish talking before Julain could start.
"But I'm not here to ask you for permission. Because that's not your choice, it's Ty's. So really you don't have a say in this. So I'm not asking you for permission. I love Ty. And so do you, and I know that you were more of a father to him than a brother. So it was only fair that you would be the first to know. I love Ty. And I want to marry him." Kit had never felt so sure about anything in his life.
Julian could see that in the way Kit held himself, in the soft pitch his voice took when he talked about Ty. It was the look in his eyes, and the twitching of his fingers. Kit loved Ty so much that at this moment, nothing else mattered. Julian laughed. Kit jumped in surprise and Emma scooted away, they exchanged a quizzical look while Julian caught his breath. Finally, he sighed, looking up at Kit with a warm smile. "Okay." He said.
Not really what Kit had expected. "Okay?" He and Emma echoed. Julian nodded. "You said you're going to ask Ty to marry you. And I'm telling you 'okay'." His face was beaming, and Kit felt his heart burst and the tension in his shoulders drop. He may not have been there to ask for permission, but it definitely would've been bad if Julain had disapproved.
It had been such a weight off his shoulders. And once he had said it out loud, to another person, it didn't feel so much like a far off dream. The more people he told, the more right it felt. Because there had been a lot of people to tell. He drove to the L.A. Institute to tell Helen, Aline, and Tavvy. He had to get a portal to New York so he could tell Mark and Christina. Dru had been at the New York Institute with Kit's parabatai, Ash. So he had told them too. Only Ash had already known. Because Ash knew Kit maybe even better than Ty did.
Then he had to tell his side too. And he had to do that before Ash did. (He couldn't keep a secret. Probably a fairie thing.) Jace had been so excited he wanted to call everyone he knew, it was a good thing Clary had been there. Portaling again that day was exhausting, but he made it to Devon. Tessa had beamed, Jem had cried. Mina was nearly as excited as Jace.
It was almost dinner time when he finally got home. Ty had been waiting, laying on the couch with a book in his hands and Irene in his lap. The smile he gave Kit was soft, lovely. It melted Kit completely. He had promptly sat on the floor in front of the couch. Ty raised his arm so Kit could lean his tired head against Ty's chest. Ty let his arm back down, hand tucking into Kit's hair. "Read to me?" Kit asked quietly.
So Ty did.
It had become their norm. For Ty to lay on the couch like this, for Kit to sit like this, for Irene to purr softly while Kit stroked her fur. For Ty to read outloud, in his steady voice. Kit closed his eyes, and was certain once more. He was making the right choice.
That had been three weeks ago. Three long, stressing, weeks. That mostly consisted of Kit going into jewelry shops, getting nervous and antsy, and running out again before his sticky fingers, well, stuck to anything.
He had taken Ash with him to a few stores. It helped to have him there when Kit got nervous. But, Ash had to keep squeezing his arm, so often that the store clerks thought that they were the two getting married. Ash found this hilarious and laughed so hard that he nearly knocked over a display case of diamonds. They were then escorted out of the store, and Kit was still ringless.
Kit relayed this dilemma to Dru that night while the three of them were walking through Central Park. The ground was covered in snow, they were all bundled up in their warmest clothes. Despite the cold, Central Park was the only place in New York where Ash didn’t gain a headache from all the iron of the city. They had spent the day in NYC, getting some last minute Christmas shopping done. Being in the city that long, had started to give even Kit a headache. He could only imagine how bad Ash’s head had started pounding, but Ash hadn’t said anything about it. Of course, Kit had been able to tell that his smile didn’t reach his eyes or that he wasn’t completely listening to them. So he had casually steered them in the direction of the park, claiming he was done with shopping for the day.
 Dru gave him a curious look and said, “Just give him your Herondale ring.” Kit blinked at her, and Ash lifted Kit’s right hand up, studying the ring. “I didn’t know this was the Herondale symbol…” he murmured. Kit decided to ignore him for a moment, giving Dru his full attention. She rolled her eyes, “Honestly Kit, do you know anything about Shadowhunter weddings?”
“....Gold clothes?”
“You’re hopeless.”
 Dru was probably right. To be fair, Kit had never been a part of a shadowhunter marriage. He had only even seen a couple of them. But at least now he had his ring problem sorted. Kit had to admit, exchanging family rings did have something romantic going for it.
So alerting the Blackthorn Clan; Done.
Getting a ring; Done.
Actually popping the question…
Work in progress.
Kit spends that night at the New York Institute. They had returned and Dru had pestered him with questions about the engagement and the eventual marriage. Then the rest of the New York Institute residents broke out the drinks and the poker chips. Alec and Magnus were called over, and Kit was not allowed to leave. Not that he really wanted to, either. Even if he did miss Ty, he liked hanging out with friends, too. And he knew that Ty could use some time to himself every now and then. He did text Ty for a moment, letting him know that he wouldn’t be home that night.
Sherlock <3
Sure you will, baby.
Kit smiled at his phone like an idiot for a moment. When Ty called him “baby”, something just melted right in his chest and he felt like a fifteen year old boy catastrophically in love with his best friend all over again.
Then Jace tried to steal another one of his chips and Kit had to swat him away and pay attention once more.
He did finally crawl through a portal home that morning, around eight. But seeing as LA was three hours behind, Kit wasn’t surprised to enter a quiet and warm apartment. Irene lifted her head from where she was curled up on the couch, she yawned at him and then went back to sleep. That was about at warm a welcome as he expected. Kit crept, silently, into the bedroom. Where rumpled sheets and a lover were curled up, tangled in one another. Ty lay on his stomach, arms sprawled out. He was laying on Kit’s side of the bed.
A smirk graced his lips. For a moment, he leaned against the door frame, and just drank the picture in. The sun was barely coming up, scattering red and orange through the window and across the bed. Ty’s lithe and strong body outlined against the pale bedsheets and the worn quilts his mother had made so long ago. One, red and green for the Christmas season, was pulled up, above his chin. His black, silky, hair spilled just over the top of it.
 Kit could just barely make out Ty’s eyes shutting even tighter against the sunlight filtering in.  Using all his fairie and shadowhunter stealth, Kit pulled the curtain back, blocking out the sun. Ty sighed and relaxed. Carefully, gently, Kit climbed into the bed, beneath the quilts and blankets. He sank into the warm and familiar comfort that always came from being with Ty. Wrapping his arms around Ty’s middle, laying on his side and nuzzling his face into the back of Ty’s neck. He felt Ty hum beneath him. Felt the low baritone rumble through his chest and ripple up his neck.
He pressed a kiss into his (hopefully) soon to be fiancee’s soft curls. “Go back to sleep,” Kit whispered, the sound barely audible and low and throaty even to his own ears. Ty moved his hand to take Kit’s from where it rested around his waist. “Welcome home,” He murmured, sinking deeper into Kit’s embrace. Kit smiled, “What are you doing on this side of the bed?” He asked, because Ty liked things in order and he liked having his own side of the bed where he could keep his pillows straight and sheets tucked in while Kit’s side of the bed often laid a rumpled mess. “M’mells like you…” Ty trailed.
Kit feels his entire face heat up, and he’s grinning from ear to ear as he gives Ty another gentle squeeze and a kiss on the back of the head. "Did you win?" Ty asks, he sounds nearly asleep again. Kit chuckles. "Not at all." But Ty has already fallen back asleep, his chest rising and falling in a gentle rhythm. It only takes a few moments, with him breathing in Ty's scent and the blankets warm around him, for Kit to drift off completely.
The Skirt (Midoriya x TransMale!Bakugou!Reader)
(A/N): In this AU, the reader was adopted when he was younger by the Bakugous, and had a foreign name, so he uses his first name instead of the Bakugou surname so it’s easier for everyone when he and Bakugou are in the same class. Reader and Midoriya are childhood friends that crushed on each other and got together.
Key:
(Y/N): Your Name
(H/C): Hair Colour
Summary: The girls of Class 1-A want their revenge from having to wear those uniforms during the Sports Festival. Guess it’s the guy’s turn to wear one!
TW: dysphoria, transphobic language
Happy Reading! --Drew
Kirishima sighs and leans back in his seat. “Never a dull moment in this class, am I right?” Bakugou and Midoriya were once again fighting and took it a little far during hero training, so Aizawa took them to chew them out while the rest of the class is supposed to be working on homework.
“Nope!” Mina agrees cheerfully. “Especially with those two around!”
Kaminari reaches above his head and stretches. “Man, those two saved us! Now we’ve got basically a free period!”
Iida appears behind the blond with his signature hand-chopping. “Aizawa-Sensei said that we should be using this time to work on material for another class, and it would be disrespectful to misuse the time!”
“Aw c’mon man! Just chill out!”
As Kaminari and Iida start to go back and forth, Mina puts a finger to her chin in thought. “A free period, huh?” Suddenly, an evil glint appears in her eyes and she swiftly gathers all the girls in one corner of the classroom and starts whispering furiously. The other girls’ eyes light up and they start to smile. A mischievous aura starts to emanate from their corner, causing some of the other students to take notice.
“I-is everything alright over there?” Asks Ojiro, subtly scooting back.
Mina grins and nods as Momo and Uraraka head towards the door to the class and block it off, just in case. “Yeah, we just had a little idea of what to do with this free time~”
All the guys shudder at the sweetly-fake tone of her voice.
“Remember how at the Sports Festival, all of us girls had to wear those cheerleading outfits? Well guess who’s turn it is?”
“You-you’re not implying that-” Sero stutters.
“That you’re all going to have to wear them too? Yep!”
Mineta makes a big x with his arms. “No way! I’m no cross-dresser!”
“Aw come on, it’s only fair,” Hagakure pouts. “Isn’t it Iida? We had to wear them, so now the guys have to?”
Iida flushes at being put on the spot like that. On one hand, she does have a point, but on the other, his male classmates seem thoroughly against the idea.
“Don’t let them trick you, Iida!”
“Don’t fall for it!”
“It’s not fair at all!”
The boys are in an uproar, and Iida has to find a way to defuse the situation fast. “How about a compromise?” He proposes, trying to appease both sides.
“A compromise?” asks Jirou.
“Yes, you are determined to get the guys to wear the uniforms, but the guys are heavily against the idea. Is there some middle ground we can find?”
Mina hums in thought. “I mean, I only really need to see one guy wearing it, really.” The other girls agree.
“Yeah, if one of you guys wear it, that’s fine!” Uraraka chimes in.
“Very well! We shall have one of us wear the uniform!” Iida announces.
“Nose goes!” yells Kaminari, his finger flying towards his nose. All the other boys rush to do the same, even a very confused Todoroki. The only one who didn’t manage to do it was…
“Hey, (Y/N)!”
The (H/C) looks up from the book he was absorbed in. “Hm?” He quickly notices how everyone else has their fingers on their noses and pales. “Aw come on, guys! I wasn’t paying attention! That’s not fair!”
“Ah ah ah, the rules are the rules! You didn’t put your finger on your nose in time!” Kaminari wags a finger in (Y/N)’s direction.
(Y/N) sighs and shuts his book. “Alright, fine. What stupid thing did we agree to now?”
Mina clutches his arm excitedly. “We’re gonna dress you up in a cheerleading outfit and make you look like a girl!”
(Y/N) pales. “You’re what?!?!”
“You guys made us wear them at the Sports Festival, so now it’s your turn!”
“But I don’t- guys help me out here, please-”
He looks towards the boys but are met with solemn faces.
“Sorry (Y/N), it’s either you or all of us.” Mineta states.
“Thanks for taking one for the team bro!” Kirishima gives him a thumbs-up.
“Yeah, because of you, we don’t all have to do it!”
“But I really don’t want to-” he tries again, only to be shut down once more.
“You didn’t win nose-goes, so you’ve gotta do it!”
(Y/N) looks insanely uncomfortable as the boys cheer for him and the girls usher him out of the room to dress him up, but he weakens as they convince him that it's only fair and that because he's doing it, the other boys don't have to.
He takes the uniform from Momo and steals Jirou's makeup kit before sending them back to the classroom, surprising the girls but they let him be. They idly chatter as they wait for the (H/C) to come back to the classroom.
"Do you think he actually knows how to use makeup?" Asks Hagakure. "I mean, he is still a guy."
"Maybe he'll surprise us," Momo replies. "After all, makeup is genderless!"
They continue talking, trying to speculate what he could possible look like, but nothing prepares them for the actual thing. The door to the classroom opens softly, and if you didn't know any better, you'd think it was a girl standing there. His (H/L) hair, normally kept up and out of his face, has been let down and styled slightly to frame his face. His face has a light dusting of blush and highlight that makes his cheekbones shine, along with natural-looking lips and killer eyeliner with a shimmer or orange across his eyelids. The crop top and skirt work together to reveal a harsh hourglass figure, his waist dipping in while his hips come out, and there’s a surprising amount of cleavage that he sports. The skirt reveals long, shapely legs, looking powerful but feminine. He shifts uncomfortably as the class stares in shock.
“Woah, (Y/N)! You clean up nicely!” Mina shouts, excited.
“You look like an actual girl!” Hagakure claps.
“Maybe we should just make you one of the girls!”
(Y/N) flinches at that, but no one takes any notice. The guys start to comment as well.
“Wow, (Y/N), I didn’t know you knew how to use makeup! That’s really manly, bro!”
“If you were a girl, I’d totally date you!”’
“You actually look really good-”
No one notices (Y/N)’s increasing discomfort, or how he’s starting to look slightly upset. Even as Mineta stalks forward, they talk amongst themselves at how cute and girly he looks.
“You know, those are quite a pair of boobies you’ve got there, (Y/N). Be a pal and let me squeeze them?” He’s got an absolutely perverted look on his face, and (Y/N) crosses his arms over his chest protectively.
“Absolutely not!”
“Why not, man? It’s not like you’re gonna feel it; they’re fake, right?”
(Y/N) flushes and tightens his arms.
“No way! You actually have boobs? What are you, a cross-dresser? I always knew there was something off about you!”
“Shut up!”
Everyone stills as the normally mild-tempered male snaps.
“I’m not a girl! I’m a boy, and I hate every bit of this! So what if I was born this way? It’s not who I am! And I don’t want to hear any of you saying this shit! So just shut up!”
He’s panting hard at the outburst, and everyone’s shocked. None of them notice how the door opens, revealing Bakugou and Midoriya, finally back from getting yelled at by Mr. Aizawa.
“Oi, extras, what the hell is going on in here-”
“Damn, she’s just like her brother.” Mineta shakes his head. “Damn shame, she was so hot too.”
(Y/N) recoils like he’d been slapped, and the class for the first time can see the tears in his eyes. His eyes fight to narrow in anger, because dammit that hurt, he thought that he could trust this class.
“Fuck all of you,” he spits and turns heel and flees. He runs past his brother and his boyfriend standing in the door, not paying them any attention through the tears starting to fall down his face.
No one makes a move. Finally one of the boys in the door speaks up, but it’s not who they were expecting.
“What the fuck.” Midoriya curses, and the entire class startles. Midoriya isn’t one to curse, so for the cinnamon roll to suddenly drop an f-bomb is almost unheard of. “What the hell happened.”
“We- we were dressing up a guy in the cheerleading outfit as revenge from the Sports Festival, and (Y/N) got picked-” Mina stammers in an effort to explain.
“Who knew she was such a hottie,” Mineta drools. “Shame on you Midoriya for hiding her sweet body from us, always pretending she’s a boy.”
The door frame cracks from where Midoriya’s clutching it, his quirk subconsciously activating. “That’s because he is a boy, Mineta.”
“But she’s got boobs and such a hot figure! I bet she’s even got a hot-”
“Shut the hell up you grape!”
Bakugou looks absolutely murderous over hearing his brother referred to in that way. “He’s more of a fucking man than you’ll ever be!”
“At least I have a dick!”
Bakugou stalks towards Mineta, explosions crackling in his palms.
“You want to repeat that again, you dumb grape bastard?”
Mineta finally realizes who he’s talking to and how he’s talking, and starts to backpedal furiously.
“Deku.” Bakugou growls. “Go take care of my dumb brother. He’s probably crying over the shit these extras pulled. I’ll make sure they know how much they fucked up.”
The class shudders as Midoriya nods and runs down the hallway in the direction (Y/N) had fled. He leaves behind him the sounds of explosions and the screams of one short male.
Midoriya heads towards the stairwell, going to the ground layer as he knows that’s where (Y/N) likes to go when he’s upset and will likely be there already. Sure enough, the (H/C) is tucked into the shadows and has his knees pulled into his chest, muffling his cries. Midoriya doesn’t say anything at first, instead just sitting down next to him and rubbing a hand along his back, until (Y/N)’s posture begins to relax and his cries slow. His legs straighten out and he slumps into Midoriya, completely spent.
“Hey there, babe. How’re you feeling?”
(Y/N) just shakes his head where he’s buried it against Midoriya’s arm.
“That’s understandable. Think you could look at me, babe?”
He sniffs again, and slowly looks up at Midoriya. His makeup has been ruined and his eyeliner is smeared around from him crying, but Midoriya doesn’t seem to care.
“There’s my handsome boy.” He takes a tissue out of his pocket and gently wipes away the mess on his face, until (Y/N)’s face is once again clear and clean. Once that’s done, he pulls the other boy into his arms and holds him, a hand coming up to stroke his hair.
“Want to talk about it?”
“You know how the girls wore those cheerleading uniforms at the Sports Festival?” (Y/N) begins quietly after a moment. “They wanted to see the guys in one too. People started to fight over it, and eventually Iida made them reach a compromise. Only one guy had to wear it and I was picked, I guess. They just weren’t expecting me to look like an actual girl, I guess.” He chuckles darkly. “I tried to get out of it, but the girls were so excited and the guys seemed so relieved that it wasn’t them, and I guess I was the best suited for it since I’m-”
His voice cracks and he stumbles over the next part.
“Since I was born as a girl.”
His eyes fill with tears again and he buries his face into Midoriya’s chest.
“What’s wrong with me, Zuku? Why couldn’t I have just been normal?”
“Hey. None of that.” The greenette forces the (H/C) to look up at him. “You’re perfectly normal. They were in the wrong. You obviously didn’t want to do it, and the way Mineta talked to you was not okay.”
The (H/C)’s face crumples at the mention of the short male. “Oh god, Mineta. He thinks- he thinks I’m a girl pretending to be a boy-”
“Which isn’t true and I’m sure Kacchan’s already ripping him and the rest of the class a new one.”
(Y/N) doesn’t say anything, just melts into Midoriya a little more.
“You want to stay here on the floor for a while longer or go back to the dorms so you can get changed and we can cuddle?”
“Second option please.”
“Will do!”
He stands, pulling (Y/N) into his arms and then picking him up in a bridal-carry. Said boy blushes all the way back to the dorms, until Midoriya puts him down on the bed and grabs a set of well-loved oversized All Might pajamas from the closet.
“Here, you can change into these.” He turns his back and looks away while (Y/N) changes, until there’s a tug on his shirt from behind. His boyfriend’s practically drowning in the clothes, but he looks much more comfortable than before. Instantly Midoriya is pulling him to the bed, and they lay down together without a word. The greenette keeps the other cradled to his chest, content with the silence.
“Thank you…” manages (Y/N) after a few minutes. “For all that.”
“Of course!” Midoriya starts stroking a hand through (H/C) locks. “You’re my boyfriend, first of all, and a boy second, and shouldn’t have been forced to do that third. I bet Kacchan’s already taken care of it, but we’re going to make sure the class knows what happened and why that wasn’t okay. Especially Mineta. I love you just the way you are. And nothing can change that.”
(Y/N) tears up again, hiding his face in the other male’s chest. “I love you.”
“I love you too, (Y/N). Now rest. I’ve got you.”
