Kinkcember Day 8: Mommy
Mommy Sakura, I think she's a bit too hungry. Anyway, enjoy!
Length: 2.2K
Sakura X Mreader
You sweat as you carry the last box from your car to your apartment, your muscles aching after over an hour of moving boxes up from the ground floor. Reaching your floor for the last time, you jiggle the door open and step in. You stretch your arms up to the sky after setting the last box down. You look around your new apartment, finally on your own. You consider where to start unpacking when there’s a knock on your door. You turn around to see a beautiful woman standing in your doorway. She gives you a small wave and stretches her arm out, offering you a water bottle, “Welcome to the neighborhood; I thought I’d introduce myself. I’m Sakura; I live right next door, actually.”
You take the water, “It’s nice to meet you, Sakura.” You take a swig of water, “I’ll try not to bother you; I’ll be up late at night pretty often.”
“Oh? Why’s that?”
“I’m a student at the nearby college; I’ll be studying a lot and busy with a lot of other things.”
“Ohh, a college student,” Sakura repeats, a grin forming. “I’ve heard that you guys get busy; maybe I’ll come by and help you…like a mom away from home,” She says with a laugh.
“Mmm,” you hum, “Yeah, well, if I ever need anything, I’ll come to you.”
“Alright, I’ll see you around,” Sakura says, leaving you alone in your apartment. You take another sip of water before beginning the unpacking process. You work around the clock putting away clothes and arranging your space when it becomes evening. There was another knock on the door, and you head over. Checking through the peephole, you see Sakura holding a covered plate. She reaches up, ready to knock again when you open the door. “Hi again; I thought I'd bring you over some food. You haven’t eaten yet, right?” Sakura pushes the plate forward; I made a little too much and thought you’d like some. It’s curry.”
“Oh, thanks, Sakura. I was getting kind of hungry. Would you like to come inside?”
“I’d love to.” Sakura hands you the plate and steps inside your home, looking around to see how you’ve decorated it.
“It’s not much yet, but it’ll get there in time, " you say, grabbing a spoon from the kitchen before sitting in the living room. You uncover the curry; it's still warm, with condensation covering the foil she used to cover it. You take a spoonful and start eating as Sakura sits beside you.
“It’s nice, though; I’m sure your girlfriend will like it. Or she can decorate a little.”
“Ah, well, that’s a nice thought but…I don’t have a girlfriend.”
Sakura feigns shock, “Uhm, I’m sorry. I just assumed that you would. I mean, you’re cute, so I just thought.” Sakura stumbles through her words. Internally, though, she’s praising God; it would make things so much easier for her.
You wave her off, “It’s okay, maybe someday I’ll get one,” you say in jest. You take another bite of the food, “You make a really good curry, though,” you say, awkwardly changing the subject.
Sakura smiles, “I can cook for you sometimes.” She pats her lap, excited at the prospect of getting closer to you, “I don’t really have anyone around either, so it wouldn’t be a problem. It could be here or at my place.” The two of you continue talking as you eat; while you’re speaking, Sakura's thoughts become less than pure. She manages to hold herself together as your conversation reaches its natural end and you finish eating. “It was nice talking; I’ll see you soon.” She says, taking the plate from you just as you finish. “I’ll be going now,” She bows and leaves the apartment quickly. You’re left a little confused because of how quickly she decided to leave, but you put it in the back of your mind as you get ready to shower and then sleep.
In her home, Sakura rushes to her bedroom and throws herself onto her bed. She slips her fingers underneath her jeans and moves her fingers around her clit, moaning as she imagines what you must be like in bed. Sakura just loved younger men, and you were the perfect fit for her. She imagined your hands on her body, groping her, and it drove her crazy.
Over the next few weeks, as your classes began and you found yourself busier and busier with work, Sakura wormed her way into your routine, bringing you food, doing your laundry, and occasionally cleaning up around your apartment. Sakura even began referring to herself as your mommy, teasing you as she did all the work around your apartment. She did it to help you, but she was also getting something out of it. She would smell your clothing before washing it, your scent fueling her desires. She thought to herself about how to bring up the topic of taking things further. You appreciate her help and buy her a small gift as a thank you. You wrap it nicely and hold onto it until Sakura comes by again.
Sakura came by the next day; she greeted you warmly and put on an apron as she prepared to cook you something. “Hey, Sakura. I got you something to say thanks.”
“Huh? You didn’t have to. I just wanted to help you. You’ve been so busy with college that I thought an older woman like me should help you.” Sakura protests, waving her hands.
“It’s something small. Here,” you place a small box on the counter.
“You really didn’t have to.” At that moment, the idea popped into Sakura’s head; this was her opportunity to push things further. She unties her apron, placing it on the counter next to your gift. “There’s actually something else I’d like.”
“What is it?”
“It’s been a while since I’ve been with someone. So…I’d like it if you’d…” Sakura considered what word to use, one that was more reserved or one that she felt best described her desires. “I want you to fuck me,” She says plainly. Sakura inches closer to you, grabbing your hands and placing them around her waist before wrapping her arms around your neck. “I’ve played the role of your mommy by helping you around here. Now I’d like you to return the favor and help mommy cum.” Sakura said in a low, sultry voice, unlike any you’ve ever heard from her. “Please?” She asks, tilting her head to the side.
You had to admit that you hadn’t expected this sort of situation, but you didn’t mind getting this kind of attention from Sakura. She was a beautiful woman, after all. “Alright, if that’s all you want.”
Sakura smiles, “It is; Mommy will show you how good she can take it.” You move your hands down to Sakura’s thighs and lift her, taking her to your bedroom. You toss her on the bed, and she quickly strips off her clothing, her craving for you hitting an all-time high now that she is so close to getting you. You strip off your clothing and crawl over Sakura, who quickly rolls you onto your back.
Sakura straddles you, rubbing your cock against her wet slit. “Mmm, you have no idea how much I’ve wanted this.” She leans over, kissing your cheek. “Now, fuck mommy as hard as you can. Make me cum, and don’t stop until I say so.” She aligns your cock with her entrance and pushes you inside. Sakura groans as she feels you stretch her cunt. “Oh, you’re so big,” she grunts, adjusting herself. She places her hands on your thighs and leans back as she begins to move. Your cock slides in and out of her with ease. You enjoy the feeling of her walls clamping down on your cock for a moment, letting Sakura do all the work before grabbing onto her waist. You slam yourself into the deepest part of her cunt, knocking against her womb. “That’s it, baby, fuck mommy,” She moans, feeling you deep inside her. You hold her as you begin thrusting, ramming yourself inside her tight cunt. Sakura leans back, her moans filling the room, and she smiles with pure glee. She was happy to have you finally; she focused on the feeling of your cock stirring her inside. The pleasure was making her lose her mind. You had just started, but you were already pushing her to her climax.
Sakura’s walls only got tighter as you went on. You wanted more of her. Rolling her onto her back, you push her legs to her ears and drive your cock deeper into her. Sakura groans, her toes curl as she reaches her climax. Her walls clamp down on your cock, and she cums. Her nectar splashes onto her stomach and chest as you continue to thrust. “Baby, keep going!” She cries out, gripping the bedsheets so hard her knuckles are turning white. You steal a kiss from Sakura as you continue to ruin her, driving her crazy as the pleasure continues to crash over her. She can feel herself slipping away as your cock reshapes her cunt. You sucked on Sakura’s tongue after she stuck out unconsciously. Her eyes rolled into the back of her head as you pushed her to another orgasm. Her cries of pleasure flowed endlessly as you pounded away at her body.
“I’m cumming, mommy.” You grunt, struggling to keep your pace now that your body is on edge.
“Inside!” Sakura shouts, her arms reaching out as she tries to hold you. You bury yourself inside Sakura, flooding her pussy with your cum. A euphoric smile is plastered on her face as your warm cum invades her body, heating her from the inside. You gain your bearings and drag your cock out Sakura, letting her legs fall down. Cum leaks out of her as she remains on the bed.
She slowly rolls onto her back and raises her ass into the air. “Keep going, baby; I want more. Please fuck your dirty mommy more,” Semen drips from her cunt as Sakura presses her face against a pillow, waiting for you to take her again.
You grasp your cock and press it against her entrance. You slip in easily, returning to her snug cunt. You grip her ass, the soft cheeks melting into your hands as you bury yourself inside her. Sakura moaned into the pillow as she felt your cock fill her again. She was thanking God she met you with every thrust. You enjoyed the sight, watching Sakura's ass bounce on your cock. You reach back and slap the jiggling meat. She yelps and begs for more. “Spank me, baby, make me yours.” She moans. You continue to punish her ass, leaving your hand imprinted on her skin as you drive her further into the mattress. You push her face into the pillow as you angle her better. Sakura's brain stops working as she cums a third time; her body shuts down and is only held up by you as you continue driving your cock into her womb. Your climax approaches slowly, but you reach the peak once more and fill Sakura’s cunt with another load of cum. You keep yourself inside Sakura and bring her down with you, using her as a cockwarmer.
When morning comes, you find Sakura between your legs, her tongue caressing the sides of your shaft. “Good morning, baby.” She says as she pulls away, her hand strokes your cock gently, “I thought it would be nice to wake up to mommy give you a nice blowjob. Does that sound good?”
“That sounds good,” you coo as she rubs the tip with her thumb.
“Great, let me finish.” Sakura presses her soft lips on the tip and slowly pushes you in. Her tongue swirls around the tip before running along the underside as she bobs her head. She moans softly, your musk flooding her nose and making her hungry for more. She allowed you into her throat, relaxing her muscles around you as she reached your pelvis. Sakura pulls back slowly, letting you enjoy the pleasure. She strokes your shaft as she focuses on the head, running her tongue around the head. “You can cum whenever your want, baby. Mommy will drink it all.” Sakura was sure of that. She wouldn’t waste a drop. She latched onto your cock, working her tongue all over it until you came into her mouth. As soon as the first drop hit her tongue, she was in love. She swallowed every drop, drinking your cum as it came.
Once you were done, she popped you out of her mouth and let you look inside. Her mouth was empty, and she was proud of it. Sakura kept her hand on your cock, stroking it gently. “Listen, baby, while you’re here for college, I’ll do all the cooking and cleaning. You don’t have to pay me; all you have to do is fuck me like you did last night. It’s all I want. Mommy will be here for you to use whenever you want, too.”
“You have a deal, mommy.” You groan as she jerks you off. “And I want you right now,” Sakura smirked, happy you’re taking advantage of the last part already.

“Y/L/N, the Winter Soldier is in the lab and he needs to be stitched up.” Alexander Pierce tells you.
You nodded and got the supplies you needed to stitch up the Winter Soldier. The door was closed and locked the second you walked in the lab, making you furrow your eyebrows and turn your head towards the door. You shrugged it off and got the set supplies up.
“I’m Y/N. I’ll be taking care of your injuries. Can you tell me your name?” You asked him.
The Winter Soldier furrowed his eyebrows and blinked a couple times, trying to remember his own name.
“My name is James Buchanan Barnes, but my nickname is Bucky I think.” He tells you.
“It’s nice to meet you, Bucky.” You say with a smile.
You woke up to the feeling of your 5 year old daughter, Jamie, jumping on your bed to wake you up. You smiled and sat up. You pulled her onto your lap and gave her kisses, making her burst into a fit of giggles.
“Let’s get ready for the day. Pick out your outfit.” You say.
“Ok, mommy.” Jamie says.
You gently put her on the floor and she ran to her closet to pick out an outfit while you got dressed. Jamie came running out of the closet and held up the outfit she wants to wear today.
“Go choice, baby girl.” You tell her.
Jamie got dressed and then ran back to her closet to get her favorite sneakers. You helped her put them on and tie them.
“Are you hungry?” You asked her.
Jamie nodded her head yes.
“What would you like for breakfast?” You asked.
“Umm…” She thought for a moment. “Donuts!” She says excitedly.
Donuts are Jamie’s favorite food. She held your hand as the two of you got on the elevator and went to the main floor of the Avengers Compound. You stopped in your tracks when you seen someone from your past talking to Steve. James Buchanan Barnes, the now former Winter Soldier. You haven’t seen him in 5 years. Bucky made eye contact with you. You shook your head to snap yourself out of your thoughts.
“Y/N, wait a second.” Steve stops you from walking out of the door. “This is my friend Bucky. He’s new here.” Steve introduces you and Bucky.
“We uhh- we know each other.” You say.
“Really? How?” Steve asks.
“She was a nurse for HYDRA.” Bucky tells him, not taking his eyes off of you.
There was an awkward silence and then Jamie yanked on your hand to get your attention.
“Is he your friend, mommy?” Jamie asks curiously, looking up at you.
Bucky looked down at your little girl with wide eyes when he heard her voice.
“Yes.” You answered.
Jamie let go of your hand and walked up to Bucky.
“I’m Jamie. What’s your name?” She asks.
“Bucky.” He tells her, looking down at her.
“Let’s not bother Bucky, Jamie.” You picked her up. “Let’s go get some donuts.” You say.
Bucky watched you walk out of the door with Jamie in your arms. He was in complete shock. He didn’t know what to say.
“You don’t have to fake injuries to see me, Bucky.” You say with a giggle.
“Who says I’m faking?” Bucky says in a flirtatious tone.
You playfully rolled your eyes at him as you continued to patch him up.
“Did you just rolled your eyes at me?” He asks.
“So what if I did? What are you going to do about it?” You asked, biting your bottom lip.
“I might have to kiss you for that.” He says, his voice low.
“What’s stopping you, soldier?” You asked with a grin.
Bucky leaned forward and kissed you. The kiss took your breath away.
“Bucky?” Steve waves his hand in front of Bucky’s face to snap him out of his thoughts.
“What?” Bucky asks, blinking a couple times.
“Are you ok?” Steve asks. “You zoned out for a couple minutes.” He says.
“Yea, I’m fine.” Bucky says.
You were the only thing on Bucky’s mind for the rest of the day. He had so many questions to ask you. He was happy to see you and happy that you’re alive. His thoughts were interrupted when he heard the small footsteps of your daughter, running into the lounge room. Jamie smiles when she seen Bucky. She climbs up onto the couch next to him.
“Hi, Bucky!” She says.
“Hi, Jamie.” Bucky says.
“How do you know my mommy?” She asks curiously.
“We used to work together.” He tells her.
“Where did you guys work?” She asks.
“Your mommy was a nurse and she would patch me up when I got hurt.” He tells her.
Jamie managed to make conversation with Bucky before you walked in the lounge room. You stopped in the doorway when you seen the two of them talking.
“Jamie, it’s almost time for bed. Go to your room and put your pajamas on and I’ll be there in a few minutes.” You say.
“Ok, mommy.” Jamie carefully slid off the couch. “Goodnight, Bucky.” She says with a smile.
“Goodnight, Jamie.” Bucky says, smiling back at her.
You and Bucky were left in silence for a few seconds before you walked out of the room to Jamie’s bedroom to see her already in her pajamas and choosing a bedtime story for you to read to her. She found one and handed it to her. You tucked her in before taking a seat in the chair next to her bed and read the story. About halfway through the book, you glanced at Jamie to see her sound asleep. You closed the book and put it on her bookshelf. You gave her a kiss on her forehead and turned on her nightlight before leaving her room and closed the door behind you. You went to your own room and got ready for bed. You laid in bed for a while, lost in your own thoughts before falling asleep. Bucky was laying on his bed, staring up at the ceiling, also lost in his thoughts. He sighed loudly and closed his eyes to try to get some sleep.
The next morning, Bucky walks in the kitchen to see Jamie eating her breakfast at the table. He didn’t want to disturb her so he walked past her and got some coffee. Jamie looked up from her food, smiling widely when she seen Bucky.
“Morning, Bucky!” Jamie says cheerfully.
“Morning, Jamie.” Bucky says, giving her a smile.
“Sit with me!” She says excitedly, pointing at the empty chair next to her.
Bucky hesitated for a second before taking a seat next to her.
“Where’s your mommy?” He asks her.
“In the hall. She got a call and told me to wait here like a big girl.” She tells him and goes back to eating her breakfast.
You froze when you walked back in the dining room when you seen Bucky sitting next to Jamie, not that you have a problem with it. You just didn’t hear Bucky in the kitchen when you were on the phone.
“Can I be done, mommy?” Jamie snaps you out of your frozen state. “Can I play on my iPad please?” She asks politely.
“Yes you can.” You answered.
Jamie carefully got off of the chair and ran to her bedroom to get her iPad. You grabbed her plate and went to the sink to clean it.
“She has your beauty.” Bucky says, putting the coffee cup in the sink.
“What?” You asked, making sure you heard him right.
“I said, Jamie has your beauty.” He repeats.
“Thank you.” You say quietly, loud enough for him to hear.
You quickly dried your hands and walked out of the kitchen, leaving Bucky alone. You walked down the hall to the conference room and sat down in one of the chairs, slouching in it and exhaled a breath you didn’t know you were holding.
“Are you ok?” Natasha asks you.
“Yea, I’m fine.” You say, lying through your teeth.
Natasha and Wanda could tell you were lying. You know better than to lie around them, especially Wanda.
“You know I can read minds, right?” Wanda reminds you. “So tell us what’s on your mind.” She says.
“Fine.” You gave in. “Can you two keep a secret?” You asked.
They nodded, waiting for you to tell them what’s on your mind.
“Remember when I told everyone that I didn’t know who Jamie’s dad is?” You asked.
They nodded again.
“I lied. I know who her dad is.” You say.
“Who is he?” Natasha asks.
“Steve’s best friend Bucky.” You say quietly, making sure no one else heard you.
They stared at you with shocked looks on their faces.
“Are you sure he’s Jamie’s dad?” Wanda asks.
“Yes.” You answered. “He’s the only guy I’ve slept with.” You say.
Meanwhile, Bucky was lost in his thoughts. He was wondering why you left the kitchen in such a hurry. It’s almost like you’re trying to avoid him. He’s not sure what it is, but whatever it is, he’s going to figure out what it is.
Later that day, Bucky found you in the lounge room watching TV by yourself. He walked in the room and sat down next to you.
“Are you avoiding me?” Bucky asks.
“No.” You lied. “Why would I be avoiding you?” You asked.
“Cause you’re barely talking to me. We used to talk all the time a few years ago, but now we’re like complete strangers.” He says.
You looked down at your lap, fiddling with your fingers. Bucky just scoffed when you didn’t say anything.
“That explains why you left me.” He says, standing up.
“I didn’t leave you.” You say, standing up too.
“Then explain why you left without telling me.” He says.
You stood there in silence while Bucky was waiting for an answer. He walked out of the room when you didn’t say anything. You followed him down the hall.
“Bucky, wait!” You grabbed his arm. “Let me explain please!” You begged.
“Then explain.” He says.
There was no way of getting out of this conversation so you might as well tell him the truth.
“HYDRA threw me out.” You say.
“What do you mean they threw you out?” Bucky asks.
“They fired me when they found out about our secret relationship.” You tell him.
You remember that day very well…
You were approached by Alexander Pierce and Brock Rumlow. You were too busy working that you didn’t even know that they were behind you.
“Is there any reason why the Winter Soldier isn’t doing as well as on missions and training like he used to?” Pierce asks you.
“I-I don’t know.” You lied. “Could it be the serum?” You asked, pretending like you didn’t know anything.
Brock yanked you up from the chair and turned you around so you were facing Pierce. His hands held your upper arms tightly, holding you in place. Pierce examined your facial expressions. He knew you were lying and he wanted answers. He’ll get those answers out of you one way or another.
“I’m going to ask you again.” He walked closer to you. “Why isn’t the Winter Soldier doing well on his missions?” He asks again.
“I-I don’t know.” You lied again.
Pierce chuckles to himself and smacked you across your face, making whimper in pain and leaving a red mark on your cheek.
“We could’ve avoided the consequences if you had just told me the truth, but it looks like we’re doing this the hard way.” He says.
“I am telling you the truth.” You lied again.
He smacked you again.
“I see your lips moving, but I don’t hear you telling the truth.” He says.
It took everything in you to not say anything about your secret relationship with the Winter Soldier, but you knew if you didn’t say anything soon, you’d be beaten bloody or possibly dead.
“We’re together!” You blurted out, unable to take the beating anymore. “We’re in a relationship!” You tell him.
“Get rid of her.” Pierce says to Rumlow.
You squeezed your eyes shut and rubbed your hands over your face as you came back to reality. Your eyes started to water. Bucky didn’t know what to think. He wasn’t sure if he should be mad at you or hug you. For the sake of starting an argument, he walked away to clear his mind. You let out a shaky breath and a couple tears rolled down your cheeks.
Over the next couple weeks, Bucky has been avoiding you. Also, the Avengers have been gossiping about you and Bucky amongst each other without the two of you knowing. Everyone goes quiet when the two of you walk in a room.
“Are we not going to talk about the elephant in the room?” Tony says.
“What elephant?” Steve asks.
“Y/N and Barnes.” Clint says.
“Also, her daughter looks like him.” Sam says.
Wanda and Natasha sat in silence while the guys talked. They knew the truth about Bucky being Jamie’s biological dad, but Bucky and everyone else didn’t.
“Hey guy!” Everyone went quiet when you walked in the room. “What’re you guys talking about?” You asked.
“You and Barnes.” Tony says.
“What about me and Bucky?” You asked with wide eyes.
“You and him look very friendly and I mean very friendly.” He says with a smirk.
“I don’t know what you’re talking about.” You say a little too fast.
“You sure?” He asks.
You opened your mouth and then closed it when Bucky walked in the room.
“Why’s it so quiet in here?” Bucky asks, looking around the room at everyone.
“No reason.” You said a little too fast, making him furrow his eyebrows.
“We’re going to leave the two of you alone.” Steve says.
Everyone left the room, leaving you and Bucky alone. The awkward silence faded away when Jamie ran in the room, stopping in front of you.
“I finished my lunch, mommy. Can I watch cartoons please?” Jamie asks politely.
“Yes you can.” You say with a smile.
Jamie smiled and ran out of the room, leaving you and Bucky along once again. Awkward silence filled the room again. Bucky couldn’t take any more of the awkward silence so he just left the room. He wasn’t too far down the hall from the conference room when his enhanced hearing picked up what the Avengers were talking about.
“Is it a possibility that Barnes could be Jamie’s dad?” Natasha asks, pretending like you didn’t tell her and Wanda about it earlier.
“I don’t know. Maybe.” Steve answers.
“There’s no “I don’t know” or “Maybe” about it. Jamie clearly looks a like Bucky.” Sam says.
“Maybe Y/N isn’t ready to tell him or she doesn’t know how to tell him.” Wanda says.
“He has a right to know if Jamie is his daughter.” Clint says.
Bucky was frozen in place and his eyes went wide. He didn’t know what to think. He closed his eyes and ran his fingers through his hair and exhaled. The only thing on his mind is that he’s a dad. He’s happy about it, but he’s pissed that you never told him. Bucky opened his eyes and immediately went back to the room you’re in. You looked up from your phone when you heard Bucky’s footsteps enter the room.
“I’ve known you for a long time, but I didn’t know you were this fucking selfish.” Bucky says.
“One, I’m not selfish.” You stood up from the chair you were sitting on. “And two, I’m a lot of things, but selfish isn’t one of them.” You say.
You tried to walk past him, but Bucky grabbed your arm, stopping you in your tracks. You looked up at him. His eyes were filled with anger.
“I don’t know what your fucking problem is, but let go of me!” You say, raising your voice at him.
“You’re not leaving this room until I get answers.” He lets go of your arm. “Sit.” He says, pointing at the chair.
You stared at him for a few seconds before sitting down. He sat down on the chair in front of me.
“How old is Jamie?” Bucky asks.
“5.” You answered.
Bucky took a moment to do the math in his head. 5 years ago, you and Bucky had a sexual encounter when he was the Winter Soldier.
“Was this when I- he took your virginity?” He asks, referring to the Winter Soldier.
“Yes.” You say quietly, loud enough for him to hear.
“When did you find out you were pregnant?” He asks.
“Shortly after the Avengers took me in.” You say.
That’s enough for Bucky to know that he’s Jamie’s biological father. He slouches back in the chair and rubs his hands over his face.
“So it’s true.” He sighs. “I’m Jamie’s dad.” Bucky says, looking you in the eye.
“How- How did you find that out?” You asked with wide eyes.
“Did you forget that I have enhanced hearing?” He asks sarcastically. “I heard the Avengers talking about me possibly being Jamie’s biological father.” He tells you. “Is it true or not? Am I Jamie’s biological father?” He asks.
“Yes.” You answered.
Bucky scoffs and stood up, walking towards the door, making your eyes go wide.
“Wait!” You quickly jumped up from the chair. “What are you going?” You asked, following him.
“To tell my daughter that I’m her dad.” He says.
“Wait, please!” You pleaded.
“She has a right to know that I’m her dad, Y/N.” He says.
“I know. Just let me talk to her first.” You say, trying to reason with him.
“Fine, but I’m in the room.” He says.
You nodded in agreement. You and Bucky went to the lounge room where Jamie was watching cartoons.
“Jamie, sweetie?” You say.
“Yes, mommy?” Jamie asks, looking at you.
“Mommy has something important to tell you.” You say.
You shut the TV off and sat down on the couch next to her. Jamie turned around so you had her full attention.
“Remember that one time you asked me who your daddy is?” You asked.
Jamie nodded, waiting for you to continue.
“Well umm… I know who he is.” You say.
“Who is he?” She asked curiously.
You looked at Bucky and back to Jamie before answering.
“Bucky is your daddy.” You tell her.
Jamie stared at you for a moment before sliding off of the couch and walked up to Bucky, stopping in front of him and stared up at him.
“You’re my daddy?” Jamie asks him.
Bucky looked from Jamie to you. You nodded, giving him the ok before crouching down to her height.
“Yes I am.” Bucky confirms with a smile.
She wrapped her little arms around his neck, giving him a hug. Bucky immediately hugged her back. A smile grew on your face as you continued to watch the cute father daughter scene happening in front of you.
“I’ll give you two time to get to know each other.” You say, standing up and walking out of the room.
You decided it was a good idea for them to have some father daughter time. You went straight to your bedroom. As soon as you closed your bedroom door, you broke down in tears. You felt horrible for not telling Bucky and Jamie that they’re father and daughter sooner.
After your little moment, you used work to distract yourself from feeling like a horrible person. You were about halfway through what you were working on when you heard giggling coming from the hall and coming into the conference room where you are. You looked up from your work to see Jamie and Bucky.
“Mommy!” Jamie says excitedly.
“There’s my baby girl!” You cooed as she climbed onto your lap. “Did you have fun with Bucky- daddy?” You asked, correcting yourself.
“So much fun!” She nodded. “We went to the park and got ice cream and oh! We fed the duckies!” She tells you.
“That sounds great sweetie. I’m happy you two had fun.” You say, looking from her to Bucky.
Jamie yawned and laid her head against your shoulder.
“You tired, munchkin?” Bucky asks her.
Jamie nodded and held her arms out towards him, wanting her daddy to pick her up. Bucky carefully picked her up from your lap and carried her to her bedroom with you following behind them without him knowing. You watched from the doorway as he tucked her into bed and read her a bedtime story. You smiled to yourself, seeing how amazing he is with her. Jamie fell asleep halfway through the story. Bucky put the book on her nightstand and gave her a kiss on her forehead. He turned around, rolling his eyes when he seen you standing in the doorway. You took a couple steps back so he could walk out and close the door behind him.
“Now you don’t trust me alone with my own daughter.” Bucky says with a scoff.
“That’s not the reason why I was watching you, Bucky.” You say.
“What’s the reason?” He asks. “You were standing in the doorway and watching me like I was going to take Jamie and leave.” He says.
You scoffed and shook your head before walking away. Bucky tilted his head back and groaned before walking towards you and grabbing your arm, stopping you in your tracks.
“I’m sorry. I didn’t mean to accuse you of that.” He apologizes. “It’s just-” He sighs. “I have a lot to make up for from the past 5 years with Jamie and you.” He says.
“You have nothing to make up to with me. You should be making it up to Jamie.” You say.
“Yes I do.” He says.
There was a moment of silence between the two of you. You and Bucky were looking in each other’s eyes. Bucky’s right hand cupped your cheek, caressing it. He slowly leaned in, kissing you passionately. You forgot how soft his lips are. Your hands grasped his shirt, clutching the fabric in your hands. Bucky put his vibranium hand on your waist and carefully backed you up towards the wall. You quickly melted into his touch.
“Mhmm, sorry.” Bucky says breathlessly, pulling away from your lips.
“Why are you sorry?” You asked breathlessly.
You tugged on his shirt, pulling back in for a kiss. Your lips moved in sync with his just like that use to. Your mind began to wander to the last time you and him kissed. You and Bucky were so lost in the kiss that you two almost forgot your daughter was sleeping in a bedroom in the same hallway as you two.
“Wait, stop…” You pulled away from his lips, leaving both of you breathless. “We- We should take this slower.” You say.
“You’re right. We should.” Bucky says.
You and Bucky gazed in each other’s eyes for a moment before going to your own bedrooms.
“One more thing…” You turned around and so did Bucky. “Jamie has your last name and her middle name is Rebecca. I thought you should know that.” You tell him.
“You- You named her after me and my sister?” Bucky asks, getting a little emotional.
“Yes. I thought you deserved it.” You say with a smile.
Bucky approached you and hugged you tightly. You hugged him back.
“Thank you.” He says in almost a whisper.
“You’re welcome.” You say softly.
You two separated and went to your own rooms. For once in your life, you felt like a weight has been lifted and you also felt relieved. Bucky on the other hand, is beyond grateful for his daughter and you. He does wish that he found out about Jamie sooner, but he’s glad that he knows about her now. He hopes that you and him can move forward for the sake of yours and his daughter.

One Fateful Day - Part 2
A year after your fateful meeting at the park, Five is now a huge part of you and your daughter's life
This is a sequel to my other fic, One Fateful Day. Be warned, while this has plenty of fluff and cuteness, just like the first one, this contains smut. Enjoy! 😻
Five x Single Mom Reader-insert, 5.8k words, one-shot
Warnings: Now With Smut!
“Five…” you whimpered quietly, biting at your lip and trying desperately to hold back the loud moan that was dying to be let out. Your fingernails dug sharply into the tensed muscles of his back as you felt him smile against your neck.
As a response, both to drive you crazy and to be a jerk, he gave a hard slam of his hips into you, cutting off your too-loud cry with a hungry kiss. When he went back to his methodical, rhythmic thrusts, he pulled back to look down on you.
“I’m not sure which I like more. Hearing you loud and desperate, or watching you try and hold it back,” he whispered between his own heavy breaths.
“Shut up,” you said with a smile before he did the same thing again and your body was shoved back with the force of his pelvis ramming into you. You muffled your cry with his shoulder as he continued the harder, faster pace that you loved.
Afterward, while you were both lying in bed, limbs tangled together and the sheets a mess, Five stroked your hair while you laid your head on his chest. Neither of you said anything until the alarm on your nightstand began to blare, rudely alerting you that your little love nest was not permanent.
“Damn it,” you groaned after slapping the snooze button and curling back into him. “I just want to stay here.”
“I would love that. But you know if she doesn’t get up in time, she’s going to miss the bus.”
You smiled, tracing a circle with your finger onto his chest. “Not if you blink her to the stop. That buys us at least five more minutes.”
Five gave your hair a playful tug. “Sometimes I get the feeling I’m being exploited for my powers just to make your life easier.”
“I am exploiting you, that’s true. But not just for your powers,” you teased, raising your head to give him a long, lingering kiss. “You have many talents that are of use to me.” You moved your hand down over the sheet that was loosely covering his lower half, rubbing lightly between his legs.
“I guess there are worse things.”
After a few more heated kisses, the alarm went off a second time. You groaned again, but started to haul yourself out of bed.
“I’ll wake her up,” Five offered. “You make the coffee.”
“Good idea,” you nodded, putting your underwear back on and pulling a bathrobe around you. “She likes you better in the morning anyway. She’s always a grump with me.”
Five smiled as you slowly padded out of the room on the way to the kitchen. After a year of being together, he never got tired of watching you do even the most ordinary things. Everything you did was beautiful, even when he was annoyed with you, which wasn’t very often. You hadn’t officially started living together yet, although you might as well be. Five was at your house most of the days and nights of the week. It was comfortable and the three of you were a little family.
Cassie adored Five, and the feeling was mutual. She had her own dad that she saw every other weekend, and she loved him, too. But Five was her buddy and the two of them had a special bond. He was also fiercely protective of her, which was adorable.
As Five got dressed and made his way to Cassie’s room, he could smell the coffee brewing in the kitchen and hear you mumbling to yourself. He grinned, knowing you were probably hunched in front of the open refrigerator looking for the coffee creamer and cursing him. You always blamed Five for hiding it on you, but really you were just a zombie that couldn’t think straight in the mornings.
“Five?” you yelled from the kitchen.
“In the door on the second shelf!” he yelled back.
There were a few seconds of silence and then a quiet “Thank you”, before Five heard the coffee spoon clinking against your mug. He laughed to himself and opened the door to Cassie’s room.
“Morning, kiddo, time to get up,” Five said with a clap as he stepped inside.
The six-year-old was snuggled up in her bed, her favorite unicorn stuffed animal tucked under her arm. She didn’t move, so he tried again, a little louder. “Time for school, come on, wake up!”
When she stirred a little, but still didn’t open her eyes, he sighed. “Hey, look! The ice cream truck is outside and they’re giving away free ice cream to everyone named Cassie! But only if you get up right now!”
He saw her eyelids flutter a little and maybe the beginnings of a small smile starting to form. After a couple more seconds of no real movement, it was time to resort to more direct tactics. With a flip of the switch on the wall, the room was immediately flooded in bright white light. Cassie whined and shielded her eyes with her hands, while Five tugged at the bottom of her pink striped comforter, pulling it all the way off the bed and leaving her with no covers.
“Hey!” she cried, sitting up in bed, her eyes narrowing against the light and her hair a ball of snarls on top of her head. “You’re mean!”
“Well, if you woke up when I asked you nicely, I wouldn’t have to be mean,” Five answered matter-of-factly. “Now, come on, time to get up.” As he turned away to leave, Cassie threw her unicorn at Five’s head. When it bounced off of him and landed on the floor, Five staggered like he’d been shot. Dramatically swaying and clutching at his chest, he collapsed to the floor, splayed out, with his eyes closed and tongue hanging out of his mouth.
“I’m dead,” Five rasped out. “Death by unicorn.”
Cassie climbed out of bed and came to stand over his limp body, staring down at him in her Taylor Swift pajamas with her arms crossed over her chest. “Dead people can’t talk.”
Five opened one eye. “Maybe I’m a ghost.”
Cassie nudged him in the ribs with her toe. “Nope. If you were a ghost my foot would go through you. Everyone knows that.”
Five sighed loudly and sat up, peering up at the small girl. “You’re too goddamn smart, you know that?”
She shook her head in a disapproving way that mimicked her mother when she was in trouble. “You’re not supposed to say that word in front of me. I’m preshible.”
“Impressionable?” Five laughed and Cassie nodded. “Tell you what. You don’t tell your mom that I said a bad word, and I’ll blink you to the bus stop this morning.”
Cassie thought for a moment, a finger on her lips. Then she smiled. “Deal!”
“Great,” Five said as he hauled himself off the floor with a groan. “Now get dressed, your mom left your clothes out on the chair over there. When you’re done, bring me your hairbrush for that rat’s nest of yours.”
“You’re a rat’s nest,” she said gleefully, giggling at her clever comeback with a hand over her mouth.
Five laughed, shaking his head. “That doesn’t even make sense, yet I still feel mildly insulted. Good job, kid.”
Later that morning, as you stood on the sidewalk in front of your house, watching while Five grabbed Cassie’s hand and blinked her down the block to the bus stop, you sighed contentedly. You really could not have predicted that this man you met feeding pigeons in the park a year ago would be such a large part of your life. You were head over heels in love with him, and not just because he was good to your daughter. He was kind, and loving, and even if he was able to kill a man without breaking a sweat, you never felt safer than when you were with him.
You smiled to yourself again as you saw the two of them appear out of one of Five’s portals at the bus stop. It was far enough away that you couldn’t see many details or hear their voices, but you knew Cassie was giggling her head off. You also knew the other moms at the stop were green with envy whenever they saw Five. They wanted their own sexy, super-powered man to sweep them off their feet and become a hero to their kids. But he was all yours, and you felt that warm feeling in your chest just thinking about it.
As the bus pulled up and the line of kids started loading up, Five crouched down to Cassie’s height. “Ok, you have your lunch?”
“Yep.”
“Your homework?”
“Uh-huh.”
“Your kazoo?”
She started laughing. “You don’t need a kazoo in school, silly.”
Five furrowed his brow. “You don’t? What kind of school do you go to?”
Cassie giggled again, before throwing her arms around his neck. “Love you, Five,” she said as she gave him a quick peck on the cheek before joining the other kids.
“Love you, too, kid,” he said with a grin as he watched her walk up the stairs.
No matter how many times Five heard her say that, or how many times he felt her little arms wrap around him in a hug, he always felt like his heart was going to explode. Never in a million years would he have thought he’d be standing at a bus stop, waving goodbye to a little brown-haired girl that had stolen his heart, but here he was. Combine that with the fact that he was so completely in love with her mother, and he’d never been happier.
The next week, Five hadn’t stayed over the night before, so when he came over that afternoon, Cassie was already home from school and in her room when he walked in the backdoor.
“Hello, darling,” he said with a smile, wrapping you up in his arms and kissing you. He must have sensed something was off by the way you quickly kissed him in return. “What’s wrong?” he asked.
“It’s Cassie. Her dad dropped her off after school and she was crying. He said she got bullied at school today, but of course he didn’t give a shit, the bastard. He just told her to get over it and left to let me deal with it. I tried talking to her, but she just kind of shut down.”
Five immediately tensed up. “Who bullied her? Was it that little shit Emma, because I’ve been watching her and she’s a total bi—”
“No, Five,” you smiled, putting a hand on his arm to calm him. “I don’t think it was her. It doesn’t matter anyway. We just need to talk to Cassie and help her navigate her feelings.”
“Yeah, well, I know my feelings and I’m going to navigate them all over whoever made her cry.”
“I love that you’re protective of her, but we need to handle this the right way. Things are a lot different than they were back when you were a kid.”
“When I was a kid, my father pitted my siblings and I against each other in what was essentially a cage match; not letting us quit until the other either tapped out or were too broken or exhausted to continue.”
“Jesus, Five, that’s awful!”
He shrugged. “Maybe. But I tell you what, we didn’t sit around talking about our feelings all day. If we had a problem with someone, they were going to know about it. Usually with a foot to the face.”
You cringed. “Ok…but how did that help the person that lost? Didn’t that just make them feel worse about themselves?”
The corner of Five’s mouth turned up. “I wouldn’t know.”
You rolled your eyes, but you hugged him close to you, staring up at his face with a small smile. “You can talk tough all you want, mister, but I know you are big giant marshmallow underneath it all.”
“Only when it comes to you two,” he said, leaning down to kiss you softly.
A few more days passed, and Cassie continued to come home angry, or quiet and sulking. You were concerned, but you still hadn’t let Five take any major action. You had tried talking to her teachers at school, and even the principal, but it wasn’t really going anywhere. She also wasn’t giving up any names.
“Let me take her to the park tomorrow? Maybe she’ll talk to me,” Five suggested one night after Cassie was asleep and you were lying in bed together.
You turned on your side, propping yourself up on one elbow. “That’s a good idea. She always likes going there with you.”
“She’s my park buddy.”
You stroked his cheek gently with your hand before giving him a soft kiss. “You’re so good to her. And me.”
“I love you,” he stated simply with a small shrug, as if that accounted for everything.
The next day, Five took Cassie to the park, as he had suggested. She was in a good mood and she held his hand while she skipped along, all while chattering continuously about everything and nothing at all.
“…and then I saw a cool bug on the playground and did you know that killer whales are really called orcas?”
“Is that right?”
Cassie nodded while kicking a rock in front of her. “Yep. And there are dolphins that live in rivers and guess what color they are?”
Five shook his head. “Green?”
“No!” Cassie laughed. “Pink! Pink dolphins! Just like my favorite color!”
“Wow…” Five smiled. “How do you know all this stuff?”
“I read a book at the library about it,” she said with a shrug. She was silent for a few moments. “Five? Do you want to see a pink dolphin?”
“I would love to see a pink dolphin.”
She nodded and he felt her squeeze his hand harder. “I want to see one too, but I want you to come with me. They live in the Amazon. Have you been there before?”
“No. I’ve been to a lot of places, but never the Amazon.”
“Then we should go. You, me, and mommy. Ok?”
Five couldn’t help feeling a sense of pride that she would pick him to see her precious pink dolphin. “Sounds like a plan,” he told her with a squeeze of her hand in return.
When they arrived at their usual bench to feed the birds, Five sat down and handed Cassie the bag of bird seed. The little flock that Five had befriended a while ago was now officially Cassie’s. He just supervised.
She called out to them as she scattered the seed on the ground. “Here, birdies! Come here, guys! Dinner time!”
Five decided to let her have her fun before broaching the subject of the school bully. He didn’t want her to think he had brought her there for solely that reason. This was their special place and he didn’t want to spoil that. So, he watched her for a while in her element; addressing the birds by names and encouraging them to eat.
He had kind of zoned out a little when he was jolted back to reality by Cassie suddenly yelling angrily; stomping her foot at the birds and clenching her hands into tight fists.
“Stop! Stop being mean to them, you stupid blue jay! They weren’t doing anything to you!” She kicked her foot out at the troublesome blue bird, but it flew off before she could make contact with it. Then she picked up a small stone and threw it in the direction of the bird. The rest of the flock flapped away into a nearby tree to wait for the scene to calm down again, but that didn’t stop Cassie from her angry rant. “I hate you! You stupid, stupid bird! If you come back here, I’m going to stomp you!”
Five jumped up and blinked the few feet to Cassie’s side. Kneeling down, he grabbed her shoulders and turned her toward him. Her little face was red with anger as tears streamed down her cheeks.
“Cassie, look at me,” he told her, trying to get her to focus on him and not the birds. “We don’t hurt animals. You know that.”
As the little girl collapsed into Five’s arms, sobbing uncontrollably into his shoulder and soaking his shirt with her tears, Five hugged her and patted her back.
“She was being mean to the other birds,” she whimpered between sniffs and hiccups.
“Ok…alright…it’s ok…” Five soothed as he waited for her crying to die down.
When Cassie was able to stop crying, Five stood up and took her hand. He led her back to the bench and sat her next to him. She was still sniffling and trying to catch her breath, and they sat there in silence for a few minutes. Soon, the birds that had been scared away found their way back to their seeds. As they watched the birds eat on the ground, Five turned to Cassie.
“You see how Mr. Tippington is being shoved out of the way?” Five asked.
Cassie nodded. “Yes.”
“Ok, so now watch. After a while, he comes back. What’s he doing now?”
She watched the birds with interest. “He just pecked at that other bird.”
“That’s right. Not hard; he didn’t hurt the other bird. But he was telling them to back off because he has every right to eat just like they do.”
“Ok.”
“And now what happened?”
“The mean bird hopped out of the way and let Mr. Tippington in. He’s eating and they left him alone.” She looked up at Five with wide eyes, wiping at her nose. “They stopped being mean to him.”
Five nodded. “He didn’t let that mean bird win. He wasn’t mean back, but he also wasn’t going to let them push him around. In the adult world, we call that ‘Not Taking Anyone’s Shit’.”
Cassie giggled and reached out a hand to cover Five’s mouth. He tried not to think about how she had just wiped boogers off her face with that same hand, and let her keep it there. “You said a bad word again.”
Five smiled. “I won’t tell if you won’t,” he said; his voice muffled behind her hand.
Taking her hand away, she smiled. “I won’t tell.”
“Thank you. Are you feeling better?”
“Yeah. I want to go home, though.”
“Good idea. Come on, let’s go.”
Five held out his hand and she took it in hers. They walked home in relative silence, but she never stopped holding his hand.
Later that day, when Cassie wasn’t around, Five told you about the bird incident. He was all fired up and pacing back and forth.
“I’m telling you…whoever the little shithead is at her school that’s doing this is going to get a giant boot shoved up their ass, because if you had seen her—”
“Five,” you cut in. “Thank you for being so concerned, but you can’t go around beating up kids. That’s not how things work.”
He stopped pacing and looked at you, still angry. “You didn’t see what I did. She was a mess.”
“I know, I’m worried, too, trust me. I haven’t even been sleeping and I wake up in the middle of the night thinking about her and how I just want to protect her.”
“Then let me teach her how to fight.”
You frowned, pulling your head back in surprise. “What are you talking about?”
“I can teach her how to fight and how to defend herself. When I was her age I could take down a fully grown man. I can easily show her some basic moves that she can use against whoever this kid is. She can show them she’s not going to back down without a fight.”
You laughed nervously. “Uh…I don’t think that’s a good idea.”
“Why not?”
“Because…I don’t know!” You crossed your arms over your chest. “It just seems wrong somehow. And her dad is not going to like it, that’s for sure.”
“Oh, fuck him! And it’s not wrong. It’s how the world works. Not everything can be solved with rainbows and hugs. Sometimes you have to use your fist.”
“Five!”
“What? Am I wrong?”
You put your hands on your hips and your voice got harder. “Look, I know you mean well, but I’m just not going to agree with you on this. And it’s not your problem to solve, anyway. It’s mine and her father’s.” Five was silent but his face told you everything. “Shit, I’m sorry, I didn’t mean…”
“No, you’re right,” he said, his voice edged with anger. “It’s not my place. I’m just the boyfriend.”
“Five…come on. I’m sorry, you know I didn’t mean it like that.”
“I’m not sure how else you could have meant it.”
You sighed and took his hand. “I’m sorry, honey, I really am. You know I love that you love Cassie and want to protect her. But in this case, I just don’t think violence is the answer.”
“Violence?” he asked, his eyebrows drawn together. He adopted that smug posture of his with his hands in his pockets and his head tilted to the side. “This isn’t violence, sweetheart. This is a little girl defending herself against some playground asshole. But, if you aren’t on board with that, I will let it go. You’re her mother, you know best.”
The two of you agreed to drop the subject for the time being. You didn’t want to hurt Five’s feelings because he was just trying to help in the best way he knew how. But you were still not convinced that his idea was the best for your daughter. Until the day she came home with a bloody elbow after being pushed onto the ground.
As you shook with anger and tried to blink back the tears in your own eyes, you crouched in front of Cassie while she sat on the toilet seat in the bathroom and you cleaned up her wound with a washcloth. She sniffed back her own tears, but had still refused to say who had done it. Five stood in the doorway, waiting to see what you would say now.
After a minute of silently working through your feelings, you turned to Five, looking up at him with a stony expression. “I changed my mind. Let’s do it your way.”
With a small smile, Five nodded his head. “Ok, darling,” he said quietly.
For the next week, every day after school, Five would take Cassie to the backyard to teach her basic defense strategies.
“You’re a natural,” Five said to her with a grin after she had successfully deflected him from grabbing her wrist.
“I can totally beat you up, Five,” she said with a giggle.
He nodded. “I know it. Pretty soon, I’m going to have to take lessons from you.”
She laughed again. “Don’t worry…I promise I won’t hurt you.”
Five pretended to be relieved. “Thank goodness for that, because I don’t want you on my bad side. Alright, now, let me see that block again.”
The next week, Cassie came home bursting with energy, and when she ran in the house after you walked her home from the bus stop, she immediately found Five in the kitchen.
“Five!” she cried. “Guess what?”
“What?”
“That mean girl, Emma, tried to push me again today, and I did just what you told me. I said ‘I don’t think so, fart face,’ and then she tried to kick me but I blocked her foot and she lost her balance and fell over onto the ground. She was ok, but she was a big baby and started crying and then she got up and ran away.”
“That’s great, kid! I’m proud of you for standing up for yourself,” Five said. Then he looked at you very pointedly. “Did you hear that? Emma.”
You nodded and rolled your eyes. “Yeah, I heard it. You were right. Again.”
“I never get tired of hearing that.” Five stooped down so he was eye level with Cassie. “How do you feel now?”
“Great! And I don’t think Emma is going to be bothering me again because she looked pretty sad for the rest of the day.”
“And what did we learn from all of this? he asked.
“Not to take shit from anybody!” Cassie recited before realizing what she said and looking up at you with wide eyes. “Oops.”
You laughed. “You know what, Cass? I’ll let that one slide.”
Cassie laughed before turning back to Five and suddenly wrapping her arms around his shoulders and squeezing him tightly. “Thanks, Five,” she said quietly.
“You’re welcome,” he said as he hugged her back. When he looked up at you with that gorgeous smile of his, while your daughter clung to him like a little spider monkey, you thought he had never looked sexier.
Later that evening, after Cassie had been picked up by your ex and you and Five had the house to yourselves, you were caught by surprise when Five grabbed your arm as you walked past him and blinked you directly into the bedroom and onto the bed. After seeing your shocked expression, he dragged you on top of him with a quiet laugh, brushing your hair off your face and tracing your lips with his thumb.
You put a hand on his wrist. “Before you start getting too frisky, I need to thank you.”
“For what?”
“For doing all of that for Cassie. She’s back to her strong and happy self and that’s because of you. I should have listened to you sooner.”
He nodded with a smile. “Yes, you should have. Let that be a lesson for you.”
“I’m serious!” you laughed. “Really, you are amazing.”
He didn’t say anything to that, but his eyes searched yours intently before giving a slight shake of his head. “You’re amazing. And fuck, you are gorgeous,” he told you before his mouth was roughly attacking yours.
As your kisses heated up and your bodies began reacting to one another, you started grinding down on him, making little whimpering noises when his hand tangled in your hair and his mouth traveled down your neck. You would never get tired of the feeling of his mouth on you. It didn’t matter where or how; crashing it hungrily onto yours, licking at your nipples with a sharp flick of his tongue; teasing you mercilessly with long, lazy laps over your clit; it was all amazing.
When it came to Five’s perfect body, he was like an endless, erotic buffet for your senses. Just the simple act of tasting his skin on your tongue was enough to make you dripping wet. Every inch of him, every scar and imperfection, was so fucking delicious it made your mouth water. Combine that with his natural, intoxicating scent and you could never get enough.
Climbing off, you stripped your clothes away in a hurry before yanking his underwear down, exposing his fully hard length. Five stroked your cheek with his finger as you knelt between his legs and leaned down, grasping him firmly in your hand to trace the head of his cock with your tongue.
“That’s my good girl,” he sighed before closing his eyes and laying his head back.
You always wanted to take care of him like this. He did so much for you in your everyday life, and you knew how long he had gone without physical love of any kind before you came along. It made you feel good to know that you could give that to him now.
You felt him reach down and gently sweep your hair to the side so he could watch as your lips encircled his thick shaft and your hot mouth slid over him. Your head moved up and down as you took in as much of him as you could without gagging, feeling the satiny skin of his cock glide over your tongue. When you started sucking hard on the tip while flicking your tongue over the underside and stroking the rest of his shaft with your fist, he let out a long, shaky moan.
“Come here, baby…please,” he gasped with a gentle tug of your hair.
When you let go and crawled slowly up his body, you slid your wet sex against him, letting his hard dick slip between your folds and press against your clit. He answered back with a roll of his hips into yours; his abs tightening and flexing with the motion.
Your lips brushed softly over his as you quietly questioned him before moving over to his cheek where you sucked a gentle kiss onto his dimple. “I want to give you everything you want, Five.” You swept his hair off his forehead and kissed him again. “Tell me and I’ll give it to you.”
He held your chin with one hand while the other gripped your hip tightly. His eyes met yours with nothing but pure lust behind them. “I want to come inside you.”
You nodded; your lips slightly parted while your eyes searched his. With a quick maneuver of your hips, he was slipping inside you; bottoming out as you adjusted yourself and spread your bent knees further apart. When you started to sit up, he pulled you back down so that you were flush with his chest again.
“I need you close.”
Five was always loving with you, but when he let himself be fully vulnerable and open, that’s when you felt the most connected to him. Hearing him admit he needed you like that made your connection that much deeper.
After a long, deep kiss, you began to slowly move over his cock while he pushed his hips up to meet yours, his heels digging into the mattress. Your pace quickened as you became needier; with your kisses getting sloppier and your hands roaming over his chest and arms.
“I love you,” you whined desperately, pulling yourself away from his eager mouth for just a second.
The feel of his cock inside you was everything. You stared into his beautiful green eyes as he thrust his hips up into you again and again. Just as you were starting to near your threshold, Five grabbed your hips and flung you off, so that you landed on your back next to him.
You gave a small shriek. “What the –”
Five was up on his knees before you could finish your thought, his dick still hard and wet from being inside you. With a half-smile and a hoarse chuckle, he grasped your hips again, pausing for just a moment.
“Fuck, I love you so much,” he said between harsh breaths, right before he flipped you over onto your stomach.
Once you were face down on the bed, Five roughly pulled you back until you could feel his hard cock sliding through your folds and against your throbbing clit as his hip bones slammed against your ass with one jerk. He shoved your legs apart with his knees as he ran a hand down your back.
Your breathing was loud and labored as you pushed back against him. “Oh shit,” you panted; your voice muffled by the mattress beneath you.
Five slowly moved his cock over your slit, teasing you while caressing your ass and thighs. “I’m sorry, darling, I changed my mind. I need to fuck you hard and make you scream.”
With one perfectly executed thrust, he was inside you again, his hips slamming against you while your body was propelled forward. You let out a loud moan and reached a hand down to finger your clit while he fucked you hard from behind. Five stopped suddenly and yanked your hand away.
“No touching yourself until I say so,” he ordered you before continuing to pound you.
You hissed into the sheet under your face. The feeling of his dick filling you up from that angle and his forceful thrusts hurt so good. But you really needed more stimulation to make yourself come hard.
“Five,” you moaned. “Please…”
“No,” he told you, and you could hear the smirk on his face. “Just be good for me, baby.”
Grunting and groaning, Five kept at it, ramming into you over and over again. You weren’t sure how he was able to keep going like that; he had to be getting close. You were, too, but you were dying to touch yourself.
“You’re doing so well for me, sweet girl. Just…fuck…you feel so good,” Five groaned through clenched teeth.
“Please…”you whined again. “Five…please…”
“God, you drive me crazy when you beg like that. Go ahead, sweetheart. Let me feel you come all over my cock.”
Finally getting his permission, you began to finger yourself, using all four fingers to press into your clit while Five continued to fuck you as hard as possible. His cock hit just the right spot as your hand did the rest of the work and soon you were spasming against him as you cried out his name over and over. Hearing you call out his name like that sent Five over the edge and a few seconds later he was filling you up with his warm cum while his hips stilled against your ass, his fingers gripping you tightly.
When you collapsed onto the bed, Five pulled out and laid down beside you. He rested a hand on your back as you both tried to catch your breath.
“Damn, Five,” you breathed out with a laugh. You slid over so you could snuggle up to him and threw an arm over his waist. He pushed his damp hair off his face before hugging you to him and kissing the top of your head.
He was still breathing hard and he let out a short chuckle. “Sorry. I hope that was ok.”
“Ok? That was more than ok, that was fucking incredible” you laughed again, rubbing your cheek against his chest. You were silent for a moment as your breathing started to return to normal. “I meant it when I said I want to give you everything you want. And not just sex. I mean everything.”
You weren’t sure he was going to respond at first but then you felt him swallow hard. “You are all I’ve ever wanted,” he whispered with his lips pressed into your hair. “Thank you for loving me.”
You placed a hand on the side of his face and kissed him deeply before pressing your forehead against his and closing your eyes. There was no need to say anything else; the way you looked into his eyes and the feel of your body melting into his was enough. Five never needed to thank you, though, because loving him was the easiest thing in the world. He loved you and your daughter deeply, and he made your family complete. Which was all you had ever wanted.

end of a day | pwb
a/n: the people ask for wonbin and i provide.. this is basically just pure and never ending sickening fluff when he comes home from a schedule :D warnings: one instance of him calling the reader his gf. i didn't mean for this to happen but gets like 1% suggestive towards the end. literally nothing happens though just a little heated kissing hehet
you had woken up when wonbin did, your ears listening to him rustling around the room getting dressed. after a few minutes he came to your side of the bed, stroking your hair and moving it out of your face before leaning down to kiss your forehead. your eyes fluttered open at this and he looked back with a surprised expression,
"did i wake you up? I'm sorry baby. try to go back to sleep, I'll be back later." he petted your hair once more. before he could back away you reached out to grab his wrist.
"you're not leaving without giving me a goodbye kiss are you?" you said with a pout.
smiling, he leans back down while you strain your neck upwards to meet his mouth.
"i almost didn't want to because then i wouldn't be able to stop" he mumbled against your lips. leaving one more peck he turned to actually leave and chuckled at your whine. "i know baby, i don't want to leave either but i'll try to be back before you know it. maybe you can sleep for the next 14 hours."
"I can sure try." you grumble back. "but hey, good luck today, work hard, i love you."
as he shut the door he turned to peek his head out. "I love you more." he said with a bashful smile before shutting it fully.
looking at the clock it read 6:34 am. yeah, you were definitely going back to sleep.
you woke up a few hours later and decided you had nothing to do but keep up with business since it was your day off. wonbin pretty much never had a day off so when you weren't working, your days were often spent like this; just filling the time until he came back.
it wasn't like you didn't have a life, you had friends of course but your schedules didn't always match up- like today. and so, you were alone. it wasn't bad to be fair, you caught up on emails, cleaned the apartment (mostly), called your mom, yearned for your boyfriend, all in all a productive day.
wonbin had texted you a few times throughout the day when he could.
[7:10] hi baby, wish i was with you
[9:13] getting ready to film this interview, hope i look pretty for you. i think you'll enjoy watching it when it comes out, the mc's are really funny
[13:19] finally done. heading back to the building to practice. love and miss you soooooo much,
it was strange, you had been dating for almost a year but you wondered when would your heart stop fluttering at everything he did. every text, call, every touch, every kiss made you fall in love with him even more and you hoped he felt the same.
it was getting close to 8pm which seemed like a good time to start dinner. you didn’t cook every night but you knew wonbin liked it when you did. he always worked so hard, it’s the least you could do. you decide on something simple for tonight, soup and rice and some sides his mom had sent you.
you snapped a quick picture and sent it to him so he knew he had a meal waiting for him at home.
perfect timing :) we’re about to wrap up.
can’t wait to see you
just as you were finishing plating everything for the two of you, you heard a key jangling the door knob, bringing a small smile to your face. you could hear him taking his shoes off and shuffling out of the walkway.
“where is my baby?” he called out.
“in the dining room!” you reply. he makes his way to you as you turn around meeting him halfway for an embrace. ”sorry, i’m sweaty..” he said sheepishly. after you patted his back to assure him it was fine, he held you to him and kissed your hair then pulled away to hold your face and kiss your nose then your lips more times than you could count. between kisses you tried to ask him if he wasn’t hungry, eventually he let go, “yeah actually. it smells so good, i’m starving.” he let you sit first, noticing your bowls were seated next to each other’s , he slyly scooted his chair closer to yours. after a few moments of silence with both of your mouths full, he turned to you.
“how was your day? what did you get up to?” he said as he reached over to tuck your hair behind your ear.
blushing, you reply, “well, mostly just waited for you to get back… but i did get some work done.”
he frowned at this, “i don’t know if i can ever leave again. i missed you so much too.” he softly pinched your cheek and went back to eating. “this is delicious by the way, thank you so much. the guys went to get food but i wanted to come home as soon as possible. they teased me a lot but it’s ok… i’d take anything for you.” he said the last part so quietly you almost missed it- luckily you didn’t. without making a big deal out of it you softly stroked his back and then his hair (which really was sweaty).
“i’ll clean this up, you go get in the shower and relax.” you suggested
“can’t you come with me?” he asked with pleading eyes.
“unfortunately, i already took a shower. but when i’m done with the dishes i’ll come in the bathroom ok?”
he looked back down at his soup and pursed his lips, clearly disappointed. you couldn’t help but laugh at his state. mirroring his earlier action you stroked his hair and tucked the strands that were falling into his eyes behind his ear. “tomorrow we can take a bath and i’ll use that bubble soap you like, does that sound good?”
he had to smile at this. “that sounds good, but i’m holding you to it.”
“i promise. finish your food so you can wash the day away.”
he obeyed and you both finished your dinner quickly in a comfortable silence.
he offered to help you with the dishes, but you shooed him away so he could get ready for bed sooner. it didn’t take you long anyway and you made it in time to get some sleeping clothes and a towel to meet him in the bathroom where you heard him singing.
“what song is that?” you asked him casually, but then heard a bottle of something fall with a loud crash.
“oh my god y/n you scared me!! you move like a ghost, i didn’t even hear you come in!”
“oh my bad!” you said between laughs, you almost felt bad but it was also a little funny.
“it’s our new song though. don’t tell anyone.” he said as he turned the water off
before he got out, you softly told him “of course i won’t, but here, i brought you a towel and some clothes.” you handed him the towel while he was still in the shower and heard him give a small chuckle.
“babe, you’ve seen everything already, don’t act shy now.”
scoffing, you replied, “i was just trying to give you some privacy, sue me!”
he came out with the towel wrapped around his waist and gave you that smile you loved so much, the one that made you feel like your veins were disintegrating. he must’ve noticed your wide eyes that were trying to avoid the extensive amount of his bare skin showing because he laughed again and pulled you in for a kiss. you made a small noise of protest .
“wonbin! you’re all wet!”
“oh, i didn’t notice”
“move, we need to brush our teeth.” you said, still avoiding his half naked self.
you both moved to get your toothbrushes, but he took this opportunity of your proximity to slide a hand around your waist and kiss your temple. while you wanted to melt away , you pretended to be annoyed still, not saying anything. he kept a knowing smile on his lips the whole duration of your teeth brushing date in which he also linked your arms causing a very clunky experience, but you let it slide because you really were so weak for him.
once you finished, you escaped his hold and walked to your bedroom so he could get dressed (he suggested you stay for that too, to which you declined with burning cheeks)
you only had to scroll laying on your bed for about two minutes before wonbin walked through the doorway, still with that grin on his face.
“what is so funny mister?” you asked with tight lips.
he came over to your side of the bed and sat down, carefully avoiding your feet but rested his hand on your calf, lightly squeezing the skin there. “oh nothing. you’re just really cute when you’re flustered. i like being the only one to make you blush. also, since i’m dry now, can i get some love?” he looked like a kicked puppy to where all your fake annoyance dissolved and you sat up to kiss his cheek. he turned his face to yours and whispered “you know that’s not enough.”
pushing you down he caged you in between his arms, laying the rest of his body weight on you as he lightly rubbed his nose against yours before pressing his lips to you.
he kissed you until you were breathless, your lips wet and puffy from where he had bitten them. as he leaned in again you put a hand on his chest.
“wonbin…” you warned.
“don’t worry i’m not trying anything, i’ve just wanted to kiss you all day.”
“wow, this must be your dream come true then.” “this might be the best day of my life. maybe second to when you said you’d be my girlfriend.” he said with another kiss.
“i would tease you if i wasn’t so in love with you” you retort as he pulls away, now leaving you wanting more. he noticed your pout and smirked “i’m just moving to where i’m not suffocating you.”
“i liked it though?” you admitted.
“oh?” he replied as he crawled over you to his side, laying close to you with his head propped on one hand. He stroked your cheek with the other hand, brushing your hair away from your face.
you were caught in the way he looked at you, always with so much adoration. it was obvious to anyone that saw you together (which they often told you) how intense your love seemed just in the way you looked at each other. holding his hand to your cheek he took it as his cue to lean down once more to your face. kissing your lips, your cheek, your forehead, anywhere he could reach. you wrapped your arms around his neck as he pressed his lips to your throat before going back to your lips and finally pulling away with a kiss to your cheek. rolling just a bit over to where he was almost entirely on top of you, he mumbled into your chest “did i mention i missed you?”
heart swelling you replied, “you may have. are you so tired my baby?” he can only nod and deeply sigh. you almost coo at this and brought your hand to his hair, running the strands through your fingers and lightly massaging his scalp.
“don’t do that.” he grumbles, shocking you.
“why not ??”
“because i will fall asleep and i want to stay awake and talk to you.”
“oh, well it's late bin, we should sleep anyway hm?”
“don’t wanna”
you resumed playing with his hair anyway and humming a ballad.
“you’re so mean…” he said sleepily, you could hear the tiredness taking over.
“i want to talk to you too but you need your rest. you had a busy day and we have tomorrow morning to be together.”
you only got a whine in response while he tucked his hand under your waist and tangled his legs with yours.
“love you.” he managed to mutter.
you stretched to turn off the bedside lamp.
“love you more” you reply, hands slowing down in his hair as sleep took you over as well just as you heard him whisper something else.
“impossible.”

"You ask mom, she likes you better" with the triplets
Ivy knocked on the door to her younger sister's room with both of her other siblings beside her.
She heard a quiet response from Nova saying to come in before they all came in with bright smiles on their faces.
When Nova turned around from her desk and saw all three of them she immediately raised her eyebrows and crossed her arms across her chest.
“If the three of you are sneaking out again, I am not covering for you and I’m telling daddy.”
“Oh and not mom?” Autumn asked as she sat on her bed and looked at her.
“No, I said I was telling on you not that I wanted for all of you never to see your eighteenth birthday. I'm not that mean. As mom would say ‘she'll send you to see Jesus early’”
“Then we need a favor, little sister.” Axel said as he attempted to ruffle her hair, but she moved away and simply eyed him.
“What's in it for me?”
“You'll be helping your big brother and big sisters.”
“Nope. Not interested.”
“Come on! Please!”
“No.”
“You don't even know what the favor is! You benefit from it too.” Ivy exclaimed and Nova looked at her with a straight face.
“Still not interested.”
"Ask if we can go to Honey Pig!”
“And why can't you three do that?”
“You ask mom, she likes you better. Besides, if we ask she'll say no.”
“Not my problem. Not my fault you went joyriding in her car and scratched it.”
“I…. NOVA PLEASE! We're hungry!”
She simply sighed before pushing her glasses up on her face and stared at them before responding.
“I have terms and conditions.”
“Name it.”
“I said terms and conditions. That's plural. Anyway, clean my room for a month, walk Butterscotch when it's my turn, drive me anywhere I ask if I get permission to go, and…”
“No. Stop. Absolutely not.” Autumn said as she cut her off and Ivy and Axel rolled their eyes at her.
“Let the woman finish! I'm sure we can compromise.” Axel exclaimed while covering Autumn's mouth.
“Thank you, Axel. As I was saying…”
“EW! DID YOU JUST LICK MY HAND!?” Axel yelled as Autumn laughed.
“Shouldn't have tried to silence me.”
“Well somebody needs too.” Ivy mumbled and Nova was growing annoyed.
“Yall are on your own.”
“WAIT! Okay fine whatever your terms are, we'll do it.”
“I didn't agree!”
“Autumn, do you want to get fed or not!?”
“Fine.”
“That settles it. I'll go ask.”
Nova came downstairs to where you and Jack were with the triplets hiding on the steps to listen to what your response would be. She came and sat in between the both of you and you and Jack made eye contact with each other knowing that she was about to ask something.
“Mom?”
“Yes, Nova?”
“I'm hungry. Can we go to Honey Pig?”
“Before I answer your question, did you siblings put you up to this?” You asked as Jack stifled a laugh.
“Huh? Wait, what? Why do you ask?”
“Answer my question first.”
“Well….”
“They already asked me and I said no.”
“What!?”
“IVY, AX, AUTUMN I KNOW YOU'RE LISTENING ON THE STEPS AND NO IS THE FINAL ANSWER! SINCE ALL OF YOU ARE ON THIN ICE!” You exclaimed as you immediately heard them all groan.
“BUT MOM WE'RE HUNGRY!”
“There's chicken nuggets and uncrustables in the freezer.” Jack said as he continued to scroll through his phone.
“DAD, WE DON'T WANT THAT!”
“Beggars can't be choosers.”
“Dad! I'm calling grandma and telling her you're starving us.”
“Go ahead Ax. And tell her that you also took your mom’s car without permission and scratched it.”
“I…”
“Mm hmm, thought so.”
“I am never doing them another favor again.” Nova said as she huffed before getting up and making her way upstairs.
You made sure she was out of earshot before turning to Jack, but he spoke up first.
“I think it was better that we told them no instead of telling them that we went earlier when they were in school.”
“But what are we going to say when they find the leftovers?”

i did. more writing. the gay people have captured my brain. no, im not sorry
Cleo’s Halloween parties were fun. Grian never said they weren’t. But when it came to their friend group, things were… a bit chaotic. Grian, of course, definitely contributed to the chaos, but even he would say that this year’s party was excessive.
Joel, Martyn, Skizz, and some others were all making a commotion in the center of the room. They were playing Uno, and apparently things were getting very heated.
There was music playing, not synced up, from maybe three different speakers. And with all the voices and shouting, it was loud.
And with the motion, and the lights, and the itchy fake feathers on Grian’s parrot costume…
He needed to leave.
But he and his siblings had gotten a ride with Impulse and Skizz, and the four of them were having so much fun…
Tim was sitting on a couch, laughing with Tango (the two were bright red, and Grian was totally going to tease Timmy about it later). Pearl was sitting on the kitchen counter, eyes fixated on her best friend next to her, clearly not fully focusing on what Gem was saying. Grian knew that, if asked, his twin would say she was only staring at Gem for the joke of the costume, a moth staring at the lights in Gem’s hair, but everyone knew that was a lie.
And Impulse and Skizz, their ride home, were playing Uno. And they were all laughing and enjoying themselves. Grian couldn’t ruin the night for them.
So he had ended up hiding in a side room. He wasn’t entirely sure what room, or how he got there, but he was laying on something soft. Maybe a bed? And it was dark. And a little bit quieter. Not silent. But better.
Light spilled in through the opening door. Grian squinted and let out a small noise of distaste.
”G?” A voice said from the doorway, before closing the door and approaching, “You okay, birdie?”
Grian turned his head slightly towards the voice, but it was hard to see who it was in the dark, and everything was so loud that he couldn’t recognize the voice.
”Hey, it’s okay,” they comforted, “Why are you crying?”
Grian was confused. Was he? He didn’t think he was. But that would explain the wet cheeks and dry throat.
”Is the party too loud?” When they weren’t given a response, they continued, “Okay, I’m gonna be right back and get you some snacks and water, you stay here.”
Grian’s mystery friend went out the door. Grian stayed there, in the dark, and not long later, he heard someone climbing down from the top bunk of the bed. Top bunk? Was it Scar and Bdubs’s room? That must have been Bdubs.
”All this noise,” he complained, “Can a man sleep around here?”
As he approached the door, Grian heard it open, where Bdubs greeted someone on the other side, “Hey Scar.”
Ah. It was his partner.
“Hey Bdubs,” Scar greeted back, “Where are you going?”
”To see if I can get mom to turn this stupid music down,” he grumbled, “Who plays three different songs at once anyway?”
”Good plan,” Scar said, with all his usual cheer, “I’ll be in here!”
With that, the door closed, and Grian could hear Scar limp closer to the bed before sitting down next to him.
”I brought water! And pita chips,” Scar said, “If you’re not hungry that’s okay.”
Grian rolled over, and looked up at his boyfriend. “I’d take some water,” he croaked.
Scar handed him the bottle, and he sat up to take several greedy gulps before setting it back down.
Without another word, his partner held his arms out to Grian, and he collapsed straight into the man. They sat there for a while like that, and the music outside quieted while they were.
The door opened, and Bdubs came back in. He was approaching the ladder to the top bunk when he paused and casually remarked, “Mom and Dad broke up.”
”What?!” Scar jolted upright, still holding onto Grian, “Cleo and Etho broke up?! When?!”
”They were breaking up basically right when I walked out there,” Bdubs explained, climbing up to the top bunk, “I didn’t ask why. I’m too tired for that. It’s past my bedtime, for goodness sake!”
Grian pulled away from Scar. He was good on cuddles for now, and Scar clearly was going to keep prying information from Bdubs, for very understandable reasons. Instead, Grian tuned out their conversation, letting it become background noise, while he turned to the untouched pita chips Scar had brought him.
Oh, did his boyfriend know him well.

“So do you speak English or Spanish?”
𖤐Pairing: Husband! Daddy! Alejandro x Wife! Mommy! Reader
𖤐Pronouns: She/Her
𖤐Warnings: fluff, wholesome, husband and wife, children, school, badly translated Spanish
Alejandro’s and Y/n’s kids go to school their oldest son Santiago is in 4th grade and their daughter Maria is in 2nd grade
They mainly speak English because of their mom but occasionally speak Spanish because of their papi, it’s not good Spanish because their still learning but they speak it
But what happens when both accidentally let the Spanish slit out every once and a while confusing their classmates
———————
———————
Y/n had woken up from her daughter knocking on her bedroom door. She sat up and rubbed her eyes, she smiled and looked at her daughter.
“Good morning, baby,” she smiles. She opened her arms and Maira came running and hugging her mom.
“Mami, I don’t want to go to school,” she whines.
“I know, baby, school sucks, but you have to go and be smart, like your papi and I,” Y/n said kissing her daughters forehead.
“Okay,” she whines and got off the bed and went to her bedroom to get dressed for school.
Y/n rolled out of her bed and saw her son Santiago walk passed the bedroom door.
“Santi? What are you wearing?” Y/n asked as she made the bed and she heard Santiago groan and walk back to the bedroom door.
“Just clothes.” Santiago was wearing a light blue t-shirt, black jeans and black vans.
“Santiago, it’s almost eighty degrees outside.”
“I’ll be fine.”
“Santiago, I don’t want to get a call from your school that you passed out because I let you walk out in jeans, go put shorts on,” she said as he groaned and walked back to his bedroom to change.
Y/n put her hair up and changed out of her pajamas to some more professional clothing because of where she works.
“SANTI! MARIA! COME ON THE BUS WILL BE HERE SOON!!” Y/n said as she gave Maria a pop tart and Santiago one too. “Just eat it on the bus.”
“But we’re not allowed to eat on the bus,” Maria said.
“Sneak it,” Y/n said as she kissed her sons and daughters head and watched them leave the house to their normal bus stop.
“Santi, I’m not really hungry,” Maria said, picking at the crust around the pop tart.
“What? You’re always hungry,” Santiago said as he stuffed his face.
“Not today,” she said, giving her breakfast to her oldest brother. He didn't hesitate to wolf down the food.
"Why aren't you eating, mami and papi are gonna be mad if they find out you haven't been eating breakfast."
"I eat lunch, that's good enough," Maria said as one of Santiago's friends Luis came running to the bus stop, he was out of breath and his hands on his knees trying to catch his breath.
"Jesus...my mom didn't wake me up...till...5 minutes...ago," he pants, Santiago chuckles and Maria just rolled her eyes.
--------
Y/n walked into her work and sat her stuff down, she worked around a bunch of women who always talked about their lives, husbands, girlfriends and kids. Y/n fit in with them perfectly because of her almost being just like them.
Since Y/n's kids are bilingual, she'll sometimes talk about how Maria will sometimes mess up words in Spanish and it's all cute, and she'll even talk about when Santiago was little always confusing some words in Spanish and English.
"Good morning, Y/n," Briella said with a smile on her face, she was the oldest employee who has been there almost since the start of the company, and funny thing is she's only 4 years younger than Y/n.
"Good morning, Briella, how's Gracie?"
"Good, she almost missed the bus this morning."
"The same with mine, but they got out just in time," she smiles as she clocked in.
"Hey, Y/n, we're going to the local bar downtown if you wanna come and join us?" Regan the companies General Manager and good friend to Y/n came up to her cubical and asked.
"Umm~ I'll think about it, I have to see if Alejandro is okay watching the kids for a while."
"Please, from how you talk about him, I'm pretty sure if you said you were going to the moon and won't be back for a year, he'll watch the kids for you."
"I know," she laughs. "But it never hurts to ask," as she say that she grabbed her phone and texted Alejandro.
Alejandro did stocks and worked very hard, almost every morning he was in a meeting, but Y/n had to at least ask to see if he was okay with it.
Mi Amor: Alejandro, I'm going to a bar with some of the girls from work, are you okay with watching the kids, while I'm gone?
Husband: I fine with anything, mi amor, you know I'll watch them
Mi Amor: Thank you, Ale, I owe you.
Husband: Yeah you do😏
Mi Amor: Nasty
Alejandro smirked at the text and slid his phone back into his pocket to listen to his boss.
"He said he's fine with it, guess I'm coming," she giggled, and the girls cheered.
--------
"Alright, everyone let's go ahead and do this assignment, we are going to be doing a color by number, sheet for multiplication," Santiago's teacher Mrs.Finch announced to the class.
"Santiago, can you get me a blue," Santiago's other friend Mark said as Santiago was already up to go get his colors.
"Sure," Santiago said.
Santiago had his sheet in his hand to see what colors he needed.
"Rojo, azul, amarillo, verde, morado, negro, marron, (red, blue, yellow, green, purple, black, brown)." Santiago mumbled to himself, he liked speaking Spanish when it came to certain things, like colors, animals, plants, sports, stores, but he hardly did it in school.
"What are you saying?" A little girl named Jules came up next to Santiago.
"Huh?"
"What are you saying? That's not English, is that a made-up language?" She asked. Santiago was a little suspicious on how she's never heard Spanish before.
"It's Spanish," he told her.
"But you speak English." Jules said, crossing her arms.
"I'm bilingual," Santiago said.
"Meaning?"
"Meaning, I speak two languages, English and Spanish, my mom speaks English and my papi speaks Spanish."
"Have you really never heard him speak Spanish before?" Mark asked Jules.
"No," she said with some attitude behind it. "I've never even heard of bilingual before, that seems made up."
"It's not," Santiago said.
"So, say something then in Spanish."
"Okay," without hesitation Santiago immediately thought of something. "Jules es una gran cabeza tonta y estúpida," he smirks.
"What does that mean?" Jules asked.
"It means. Jules is a big dumb stupid head," Santiago was proud and Jules stormed off to go find Mrs.Finch.
Santiago, Mark and Luis all laughed.
---------
Maria sat on her colored square on the Teacher's rug as they started to sing a song that went along with a book they were reading. Maria could barely keep up because some of the words were difficult.
Soon the song was over and Maria let out a small huff.
"Vaya, eso fue difícil (Geez, that was difficult)." Maria mumbled.
"Huh? What was that?"
"I said it was difficult."
"But how did you say it?"
"In Spanish," Maria said, confused.
"Spanish, I never heard Spanish like that before, I should know, I'm Spanish," the girl whose name was Bella, tried to flex that she knew Spanish but in reality, she didn't, she wanted to be different.
"Okay~ say something then if you know it," Maria asked.
"Fine, Mi perra come gusanos," she said, smirking at Maria like she just did something.
"You just said my dog eats worms," Maria said as some of the kids that surrounded them laughed at Bella.
"No, I said I'm the best."
"That would be something like this Soy el mejor, not what you just said," Maria said.
"Whatever."
"It's impressive that you do know it, you just have to learn your grammar and how to actually make a proper sentence," Maria giggled.
Bella walked away and Maria went back to her cubby grabbing a book to read.
-----------
Alejandro walked through the door of his home and set everything down by the door. He took off his shoes and loosened his tie, he took off his blazer and set it on the coat rack.
He went upstairs to go take a shower before having to go get the kids off the bus.
Soon he got out and put on black t-shirt and gray sweatpants. He went outside the porch and leaned on the railing to wait for his kids. He saw the bus up ahead stopping at a kid's house and then to the bus stop. Alejandro smiled seeing his daughter get off first and she came running towards him.
"PAPI!!" She yells, Alejandro smiled and walked down to pick her up, he kissed her forehead as they waited for Santiago next, which wasn't long.
Santiago smiled seeing his dad home.
"Come on, it's just us tonight, mami is out with some co-worker friends." He says.
"Does that mean we get McDonald's for dinner?" Maria asked.
"Do you want some?" He asked and Maria just excitedly nodded her head. "Alright, we can get some, do you want McDonald's Santiago?"
"Yeah, that's fine," Santiago asked, taking his bookbag off his shoulders.
"Alright go get out of your school clothes and we'll head there," Alejandro smiles.
--------
Once in the car, Alejandro saw his two kids have a big smile on their faces.
"Why are you two so smiley?" He asks.
"Because I stood up to some girl," Santiago said first.
"HEY I DID TOO!" Maria yelled.
"What do you mean?" Alejandro asked.
"Some girl named Jules in my class asked what language I was speaking, and I told her Spanish and then she asked me to say something in Spanish and I called her a stupid head," Santiago and Maria both laughed.
"I said some girl in my class said her dog liked to eat worms and she thought she said she was the best, but I told her how that would sound versus what she said," Alejandro was proud that his kids stood up to some kids.
Alejandro was also proud that his kids weren't ashamed of their Spanish side and put some people in their places.
"I'm proud of both of you, but Santiago next time don't call her a stupid head, maybe something more clever next time," Alejandro chuckled.
"Okay, papi," he smiles.
--------
Y/n was having a blast at the bar, her and the girls all singed and dance and enjoyed all their drinks they were getting. She looked at the time and saw she should get going and head home for the night.
At least she didn't drink too much, she didn't want to abandon her car at a random bar or take an UBER with a stranger.
She bid farewell to her friends and will see them at work tomorrow and headed home.
Once she arrived home, she could see the TV on in the living room hopefully the kids went to bed and it's just Alejandro still up. She opened the front door and saw it was her kid's favorite TV show Bluey, meaning the kids were still up.
She saw the tops of their heads on the couch, she creeped over to them all passed out together, Maria's head on Alejandro's right shoulder, Santiago on the other side, Alejandro's mouth open and head back with light snoring coming from him.
Alejandro's arm wrapped around Maria's waist and his other hand resting on Santiago's small leg, Y/n smiled at the scene in front of her and took a picture to remember it.
She turned off the TV and gently moved Alejandro's arm and hand and she gently picked up Maria first putting her bed then Santiago.
She came back downstairs and gently woke up her husband. His eyes fluttered open, once he saw her, he gave her the biggest smile ever.
"Hi, mi amor."
"Hi, guapa (handsome), come on, let's go to bed. I went ahead and put them two in bed."
"Did you have fun?" He asked as he walked behind her.
"I did, I should get out more often."
"You should, we had fun," he smiles as he plopped on his side of the bed and Y/n changed out of her work attire into her pajamas. She got on her side and cuddled up to her husband's side and kissed his jawline.
"Good night."
"Night, amor," he kissed the top of her head.

As long as I'm here
no one can hurt you
You shoved as much as you could into your backpack and quickly left while your parents were busy in the kitchen. Busy arguing. Fighting the urge to give in to the tears, you stumbled out of the house before they could stop you. You briskly walked away your street then stopped at a light, feeling your phone in the pocket of your jeans. You looked both ways before you crossed the street, just like you knew to do. To be safe. Then, you stopped again, trying to remember where to go. Trying to remember how to get there. Jos had taught you how to get to her house, you just needed to calmly think and reach her before someone at home realises you were gone.
“After crossing the street, walk to the end and you’ll see the playground. Then, you’ll turn this way to your right.”
Or was it the left?
No, it was your right. Yeah, you were sure.
“Cross the street again, and walk to the end. You’ll see my house.”
You wiped your clammy hands on your jeans and pressed the doorbell. You waited for a little bit, then someone opened the door for you. “Can I come in?” You asked quietly. “Of course you can.” He quickly stepped aside to let you enter. Mumbling a quick thank-you, Jos’ voice was what you heard first when you walked in. She was helping her mom in the kitchen until she saw you. Then, she came up to you to greet you, before Rob could ask you anything. Luckily. “Hi, babe. You okay?”
The nervous look on your face returned, it was like she’d just asked you the toughest question you’ve ever heard. Like you were back on the streets several minutes ago trying to figure out how to get to her house.
“No…?” You managed.
Jos quickly excused herself from the living area and took you to her room with the door closed. She took your backpack from you and put it on her bed, the weight of it told her that something was going on at home. Jos hugs you without being asked, rubbing your back and kissing you on the cheek. “You’re okay.”
“No, I’m not.” You mumbled.
“And that’s alright, too. But you’re safe here, y/n.” She assured, “I promise.”
“Okay.” You answered and broke away from the hug to sit down on her bed. Nervously, you picked at your nails, a soft sigh falling from your lips.
“You hungry?”
You shook your head, avoiding her eyes. She squatted down and then wound up kneeling before you so that she could see your eyes. “Baby.” She held onto your hands, brushing over your knuckles.
You shook your head more vigorously, like you were trying to get rid of the tears forming in your eyes. What eventually came out was a whine, then you just burst into tears. And it was unlike you to do that, unless…unless you were regressed. Jos knew your triggers. Very clearly. Usually, there was this one thing that made you slip into this headspace. “Come here.” She whispered, “C’mere, baby.” Jos helped you into her lap, where she cradled you while you cried. “You’re alright, I’ve got you.” She said every now and then, rubbing your back as she rocked you a little bit.
“I don’t like —” You hiccuped, “I don’t like home.”
“You can stay here.” She stroked your cheek, “You can stay here, alright? You don’t have to go home.”
“Alwight.” You sniffled, replying shakily. “I sorry.”
Jos picks up on little things like these, your sentences getting less and less well-strung together, the way you pronounced some words. That’s the way she figures out how she should take care of you. “It’s not your fault.”
“It’s not?” You sniffed, choking on a sob.
“It’s not.” She repeated.
You stopped crying after a few minutes, trying to calm down your breathing. Jos was knowingly rubbing your back, repeating words of assurances to you while you stayed mostly silent— other than the occasional sniffling.
“Hey.” She says, breaking the silence, a hand on your cheek, “I got you something that I think you might like.”
You didn’t say anything, just looked at her for a second, curious. “I got you a few things.” She smiled, “Colouring books, and a new stuffy.”
The corners of your lips finally tug into a smile.
“You want me to go get them?” She asked. You nodded, “Okay.”
“Okay.” She mirrors your smile, “Sit right here and wait for me. I’ll just be a second.” Jos walked over to her desk, pulling open a drawer to retrieve the two books and the box of crayons. Then, she picked up the new stuffed toy from her desk chair.
“It’s a peanut.” You giggled, laying on your stomach while you waited.
“It is.” She chuckled, handing the stuffed toy to you.
“Thank you.” You grinned, she sat down next to you, laying the two books on the floor— one Paw Patrol and the other, Bluey. You opened up the box of crayons in anticipation. “Wanna colour?”
“Mhm, yes please.”
“Which one, baby?” She nudged. You immediately went for the Bluey book grabbed a crayon to start colouring, Jos took a crayon too, then began to colour the fence on the colour page.
“You like the peanut?” She asks.
“I doooo.” You giggled, thoroughly amused before you poked the toy, “It looks silly.”
Jos smiled, ruffling with your hair, “It does, huh? Ooh, that looks really nice.”
“Thank you.” You quiet down, softly replying.
“D’you wanna eat dinner downstairs?”
You usually didn’t if her siblings were home. You didn’t want to be seen by them when you were regressed. Her parents though, you were okay with it because you knew that they understood. It was just harder to explain to Izzie, but especially Matt.
“I’ll bring it up for you, baby.” She held your face by the chin and squished your cheeks, making you give her a cheeky smile that she loved so much. You nodded, then you both resumed colouring until Margot came up to tell Jos that dinner was ready. She said hi to you, and you just waved. She knew.
“Can you help me?” You spoke up, “I bring my school homework.”
“Of course, lovey. Not now, though. Let’s just play for now, how about that?”
You hummed, giving her a quick nod and swiftly returning to your fun task instead of worrying about what would make you feel more upset.
Jos joined her family downstairs for dinner, but not before she got you completely settled down and made sure you were going to be okay. “Okay.” She kissed the top of your head, “All good?”
You nodded happily. She’d helped you set up this little foldable bed table so you could properly sit and eat— not forgetting the iPad so you could watch your cartoons at the same time.
“I’ll be right downstairs, but I won’t be too long, okay, baby?”
Dinner went by in the blink of an eye, with you being engrossed in whatever was playing on your iPad, you had no trouble eating.
“Alrighty, ready for bed? Wanna snuggle?”
You chuckled, “Yeah.”
“Gonna bring this downstairs, one second. You wanna pick out which friend you wanna cuddle with tonight?”
“Okay.” You walked over to a chest and opened it while she left the room to bring your plate and cutlery to the kitchen.
After picking out a stuffed toy for the night, you were laying in the middle of her bed, staring at the ceiling while you patiently waited for her to come back. “Let’s brush our teeth, sweetie.” You got up and followed her into the bathroom next to her room. The bedtime routine took place in silence, then you were in her arms again and the chosen toy was squished between you and her. You didn’t mind it though, you were happy to be held like this by Jos. She really cared about you.
The next day, you and Jos stayed home from school. The both of you did everything together: from making breakfast to playing dress up. Jos made sure you didn’t have a single thing to worry about, like always. When you were with her, the world as you knew it, ceased to exist. Nothing else mattered more to her than seeing your joy. Nothing else mattered more to her than letting you know you were loved, so loved.
Here she looked at you, watching your favourite cartoon on her iPad, not a care in the world. She smiled, stroking your head. You glanced at her for a moment, “What?” You asked innocently.
“Nothing, baby. Just…happy to see you.” Jos smiled at the end of her sentence.
You chuckled softly, mirroring her smile.
“Never lose that smile of yours, y/n.” Jos licked her lips, scooting closer to the space next to you. You reflexively snuggled up with her, she just wrapped her arms around you instantly. “Oh, I love you so much, sweetie.”
You said back with a grin, “I love you too, Josie.”

I only want you
Hello everyone! This is my first time writing a story in about 6 years so i’m extremely rusty so PLEASE bear with me😭. I wanted to make a story that had smut but an actual plot with it so there will definitely be more chapters coming out! Also if there’s any spelling or grammar mistakes i apologize! I’ve been writing this story while at work so i read over it but i miss stuff sometimes
————————
The first time i met satoru was about 13 years ago. I was only 5 years old, my big brother suguru was 8. Suguru came home one day after school and asked our mom if he could bring a friend over after school tomorrow. My mom said yes and that was what started it all
the next day after school suguru came home and he brought his friend.
“hello, nice to meet you! I’m satoru gojo” the white haired boy said as he introduced himself to my mom.
“hello gojo nice to meet you! are you hungry? would you like anything to eat?” My mom said as she smiled at him
“yes please” gojo said as he returned her smile. I on the other hand couldn’t stop myself from staring at him. His pretty white hair and his beautiful blue eyes were so new to me, i couldn’t help but want to get closer to him.
“this is my little sister y/n” I heard suguru say which snapped me out of my thoughts. Gojo came over to me with a smile on his face
“hello y/n, i’m suguru’s best friend nice to meet you” he said as he looked right into me eyes
“h-hi” I said as i looked down at my feet, too shy to look him back in the eyes. I heard him and suguru laugh before suguru asked him if he wanted to go into his room and play the game. As they walked upstairs i immediately went into the kitchen to talk to my mom.
“mom, suguru’s best friend is super cute!” i said thinking back to how he smiled at me when he introduced himself to me, a smile slowly finding it’s way onto my face just thinking about him.
“aww, y/n’s first crush is her big brother’s best friend” my mom teased as she laughed at me.
——— time skip a few years sorry y’all lol
I am now 14 soon turning 15 and a sophmore in highschool. My brother and his best friend are now seniors in high school. I’ve become closer to satoru but my once innocent little crush has turned into being full on in love with him. Once i turned 14 i realized my feeling for satoru were more than just a little crush.
“i’m serious shoko!” i said to my best friend on facetime while combing my hair before bed
“ but y/n why gojo out of all people? he’s not even cute” shoko said to me with a very unimpressed look on her face as i ranted to her about satoru for the 15th time today
“ i’ve decided to just suck it up and tell him how i feel at my birthday party. I invited him and he said he’ll definitely be there” i told her as i turned off my room light and turned my led lights on as i laid down in my bed
“okay and what about your brother? he’s not gonna be happy about you wanting to date his best friend” shoko said
“i know… that’s why i just won’t tell him” i said as i looked over to my clock
“ anyways it’s almost 12 so i’m going to go to bed, text me when you get up bestie” i told shoko as i turned on my side, grabbing my phone charger
“okay, goodnight bestie love you”
“goodnight, love you too”
“y/n are you up?”
i woke up to someone knocking on my door
“hmm?” i said while turning on my other side curling into a ball, slowly falling back to sleep
“i’m coming in” i heard my brother’s voice say as my room door opened
“y/n what flavor cake did you want for the party? i need you to tell me now because i want to put in a order so it’s ready by saturday” suguru said as he sat down on my bed and pulled his phone out
“you can pick” i said, pulling my blanket over my head, desperately trying to go back to sleep
“okay, i don’t want to hear any complaints then” he said as he sighed and laid down next to me while on his phone
“get off! you’re on top of my blankets” i said to suguru, annoyed that he laid down on top of the blanket instead of underneath
“nah” he said and turned on his side. I angrily got up from underneath my blanket and tried to pull the blanket from underneath suguru
“you’re so heavy!” i said as he just sat there and laughed. After 5 minutes of pulling i just gave up and laid back down trying to go back to sleep
“who all did you invite to the party?” suguru suddenly asked me
“not that many people. Shoko, satoru, and a few other friends from school” i said as i looked at him. He nodded and started texting someone on his phone
“why?” i asked, curious now
“no reason, just wanted to know if i could invite some people” he said
“eww, you wanna invite your girlfriend” i said teasing him
“shut up. and she’s not my girlfriend” he said as he slightly pushed me
“yuki is always over and you’re always hanging out with her, you might as well just date her” i said
“enough about me, when are you going to get a boyfriend” he said to me slightly laughing
“ i already like someone right now” i said accidentally. my eyes widened once i realized what i said
“oh really? who is it?” suguru asked as he locked his phone and put it down, his attention now fully on me
“it doesn’t matter who it is” i said as i turned and looked at everything but him
“i wanna know who, just in case i gotta beat him up” suguru jokingly said
“can you not be an annoying big brother for like 5 minutes please?” i said as i rolled my eyes and started laughing
“no really though, i want to know” suguru said. just when i ran out of excuses to give him his phone started ringing
“you can just come inside the doors unlocked. I’m in y/n’s room” suguru said. the person on the other side of the phone said something before suguru hung up
“who was that?” i asked
“satoru” he said
“don’t think i’m letting you off the hook. I wanna know the boy my little sister has a crush on” suguru said in a mocking voice
“y/n has a crush on someone?! who is it?” satoru said as he suddenly bursted into my room
“both of you get out of my room!” i said, now super shy since satoru came into my room
“you can tell me, i won’t tell anybody” satoru said as he sat down on my bed. He looked at me over the top of his black glasses
“next time toru” i said as i grabbed my phone trying to distract myself
“now can you both leave so i can get in the shower?” i added, trying to change the topic as i stood up and began walking to my bathroom
“wait, what flavor did you want your cake? i’m helping suguru get stuff ready for the party” satoru asked me as he stood up and stopped me by grabbing my shoulders.
“white” i said quickly without giving satoru a chance to respond before turning around and going into my bathroom
“now both go you get out” i said as i closed the bathroom door and turned on the shower water

A year ago today was supposed to be the happiest day of Chuuya’s life. He had sat in the hospital room beside you, looking back on the memories you shared together. The memories before you brought a sweet boy into this world.
~~~
Chuuya had come back from a mission late, dried blood covering his face and staining his white shirt.
“Chuuya!” You smiled as he walked into your bedroom , “I have a gift for you!”
“A gift? For what?” He asked, looking through his closet for a change of clothes.
“Go change and come back!”
He looked at you with a confused look, “okay…”
He quickly came back, showered and changed, and got in bed beside you. You gave him a quick kiss before giving him a small box.
He looked at you once more before opening the box, revealing a positive pregnancy test.
“Are you…You’re pregnant?!” He asked, eyes wide.
You nodded, tears filling your eyes.
Chuuya couldn’t help the smile that spread over his face, “This is the best news”, he whispered before kissing you deeply.
Over the next few months, Chuuya and yourself spent all of your free time decorating the nursery, buying clothes, and just enjoying eachothers company before a new baby was brought into your lives.
~~~
“It’s a boy!” The doctor announced
Chuuya jumped from his chair in the ultrasound room, “A boy!! Are you sure?!”
The doctor chuckled and showed Chuuya the ultrasound. This was the happiest you’ve ever seen your husband.
The last few months of the pregnancy, all Chuuya talked about was his excitement to have a little him.
“You’re going to be such a good dad” You smiled, looking over at your husband who was once again talking about how he could not wait for the birth of your sweet boy.
Chuuya placed his hand on your stomach, feeling the soft kicks press onto his hand, “And you're going to be the best mom. We’re going to be the best parents for him”
~~
Although, you would never be able to be a parent alongside him. This day a year ago was almost a blur for Chuuya. The two of you had been in the hospital for days due to some complications. Doctors were in and out of the room constantly, neither of you slept during those days.
The time finally came for the baby to come but instead of a joyous moment, the doctor's faces showed nothing but fear.
“We need to get her in surgery now or we will lose them both” was all Chuuya heard before you were taken away.
“Will they be okay?” He asked, his eyes filling with tears as he sat in the surgical waiting room.
Nobody had any answers. Chuuya sat for hours until a doctor came out, he shot from his chair but not out of excitement this time.
“I’m sorry,” the doctor spoke. “We did everything we could. We were able to save him though”
The world went dark, the love of his life was gone. It all happened too fast, you were supposed to raise your baby together. Have a family and grow old and be together forever. Now none of that would happen.
Chuuya had taken a few hours to calm down before walking in to meet his new son. Holding him gently and close, he looked down at the wide-eyed infant. “You look just like your mother,” he whispered, tears flowing down his cheeks.
~~
Throughout the year, Chuuya had learned to overcome a lot. He was grieving while also taking care of his new baby. Of course, he had help from the mafia. Everyone was more than happy to babysit while Chuuya left on missions or simply stay with Chuuya while he slept and showered. But nothing could make up for the emptiness in his chest. You were supposed to be here with him, watching your son say his first words and take his first steps.
~~
Today was his first birthday. The Mafia and ADA joined together to throw a party for Chuuya’s precious boy.
“I am very proud of you, Chuuya. She would be too. You are a very good father” Mori stood alongside Chuuya, watching his son play with Kyouka and Koyo.
Chuuya let out a small chuckle, “Yeah, boss? I don’t know how I’m managing without her. I wish she could’ve met him”
Mori let out a small sigh before patting Chuuya on the back, “She may not know him but he’ll know her. I’m sure of it”
Chuuya didn’t respond as Mori walked away.
Mori was right, he would know how beautiful his mother was, how selfless and kind she was. He will grow to love her despite never truly meeting her. You would always be together through his memories.
The past year had been one of the hardest Chuuya had ever experienced and though he wished you could’ve been there along with him, His heart was full watching his now one year old son laugh and play with his, what Chuuya would call, family.

Story of a College Succubus p.3
warnings: alcohol and drug abuse, jake and Heeseung kiss, slight manipulation? non-con touching, filler episode.
You angrily laid in your bed, arms crossed. That little shit really did that to you. Such an asshole. Anyway, you decided to talk to the person you trusted the most. Your dear old mother.
“Y/n, finally you call me! How is it going at school sweetie?” She happily answered, making you laugh. “Hey, mom. The boys here are pretty good to feed from, except I just need to be more careful.” You spoke quietly, not wanting to alert your neighbors. “Well, that’s good to hear. Check your pendant, sweetheart, and tell me what color it is.”
You looked at the necklace on your neck and answered, “Red, but there’s white cracks in it.” You heard a light sigh, and suddenly your mother’s voice was hushed. “Sweetie, you are growing up. You know every life phase it changes, and you’re 18 now. You’re going to start having to feed directly from your targets. So dream hopping still works, but you’ll still be hungry.” You should be happy at this news, that you’re changing and growing, right?
But it only angered you further. Life was shitty right now and it was getting difficult to keep up. “Okay, mom. I’ll try.” You whispered, mind fogged with anger. “You know, your birthday is coming up soon. It’s already Tuesday, okay? On Saturday you’ll be turning 19. If you feel anything weird, call me. Your body should be going through transformation and you’ll be put into a very…needy phase.”
You blushed at the newfound information. “Try and find a partner to settle down with for the weekend. It’ll make it easier, and we both know college boys love to have sex. Shouldn’t be that hard.” You heard a loud shout in the back. “I’ll call you back, sweetie. Your idiot father hurt himself.” Your mom hung up, leaving you with a smile.
Find a partner, huh? Shouldn’t be too hard.
-
You checked your phone in the middle of class, seeing someone had sent out a group message with an invitation.
__________
party, delta kappa delta house
9:30

(or hot bitches)
- sh
__________
Wow, so inviting. You closed out the message, hearing your teacher rant about kids these days and their phones.
Maybe you could closet shop for an outfit after class. It was already 3pm, so you’d spend the rest of the time getting ready anyway.
-
You took a shower, taking a couple more photos before you began to get dressed and do your makeup. You settled on a slight smoky eyed look, accompanied with a sexy black outfit with a skirts and a tight see through top, along with some black boots with silver accessories.
You struck a pose in the mirror, smirking to yourself. If the goal was to find a boyfriend, then you’d do just that tonight.
-
You walked into the fraternity house, seeing a nice, pale but very handsome man dressed in a black tight t shirt and some black jeans. “Heh, so there’s the beauty.” He spoke loudly, walking closer and closing you into the wall. “I’m Sunghoon, pretty much the president of DKD. Nice to meet you, sweetheart.” He smiled teasingly, making you raise an eyebrow. “Nice to meet you too, Sunghoon. I’m Y/n.” You replied, Sunghoon grabbing your waist. “Let’s go for a walk, okay?”
You complied, letting him walk with you on his arm. “So, Y/n. How’s it going for your first week here?” You scoffed at the question. “Well, everyone at school had seen my naked body. So not too great!” He sensed the agitation in your voice. “I think you need to…calm down a bit Y/n.” He whispered, pouring a shot into a cup. “Fixes all my problems anyways.”
You looked away, watching as a short young boy wandered around cluelessly. He was adorable, but he looked like the definition of social anxiety.
-
While you weren’t paying attention, Sunghoon pulled a pill out of his pocket and crushed it in his hand. He poured it into the cup, stirring it into the cup.
-
A girl strutted towards the young boy, a smirk on her face. “Hey, Harua.” She flirted, leaning against the counter. “O-oh! Hi. What’s up?” He answered cheerfully, making the girl chuckle. “We should like, make out. I think you’re really cute.” He blushed, fiddling with his fingers. “I- I’ve never kissed anyone before.” He mumbled, her playing with his hair. “That’s okay. I can teach you.” She blew him a kiss, pressing his cheek. It was obvious to anyone in the room that she was going to play him, but for Harua it wasn’t so obvious.
You sighed, wishing that you could tell the boy his future. But you were a stranger. Why would he listen to you?
-
“Here you go, beautiful. Now hurry on upstairs, everyone’s waiting for you.” Sunghoon smiled, taking your hand and leading you upstairs. He opened the door to a room, gasping loudly. You looked in, seeing Jake and Heeseung’s lips intertwined. “Dude, what the fuck are you doing?” Sunghoon shouted, making Jake jump in his position. You had to admit, he looked really hot with messed up hair and plump, swollen lips. You stopped questioning why it felt like your vision was closing in.
“Experimenting, why?” Heeseung said, laughing and it was obvious in his tone he was drunk. “Well, I brought a new toy to play with.” You looked at him in confusion, lacking vision for a blink until you felt yourself fall into his arms. “She’s such a pretty girl. I can’t wait to get inside her.” Jake whispered, caressing your forehead.
You wanted to fight back, but you just let your body slip into unconsciousness.
-
You awoke to the sound of guys arguing, seeing the boy you had met on campus earlier getting into an argument with Sunghoon. “Dude, what the fuck?! Just because she’s hot doesn’t mean you can roofie her!” Nicholas shouted, Sunghoon rolling his eyes. “Fine, just take her. I’m not even that horny anymore.” He pushed past Nicholas, who walked up to you and grabbed you bridal style. “It’s okay, Y/n. We’ll go to my place.”
You softly smiled, still too weak to talk and leaned into Nicholas’s touch.

Restoration (Chapter 11)
The time has come! This took me about five drafts for me to actually think it was decent so I hope you guys enjoy it! There’s just a whole lot of little scenes I liked to make. It’s a roller coaster of emotions, you’re going to hate me but it gets better! (Please don’t hate me I will not hesitate to cry TwT) Otherwise, enjoy!
Word Count: 12.7k
CW: Death, Vague mentions of suicide, severe trauma, vague gore warning, violence, I think that’s it!
11- Ryker
It was quiet without Angela and Lucky. Mostly because Dylan and Lucky are almost always the cause of all the loud noises, but sometimes Angela and Isabelle just liked to play around. Now, it was lonely. Of course Nathan always let Angela talk with us on his phone for hours since we can always see Lucky at school, but Angela was being picked up by Nathan for almost a full week. Nathan says she’s been doing fine. She plays some games with his mom and he likes playin hide and seek with her when she’s bored. As for Lucky, Nathan says he’s just been doing his own thing. What he usually does. He also says that he’s on the phone with Dylan all the time too. Not surprising.
No worries though. They’ll be back before Christmas. There was no way I was letting them miss it. Plus, the riots and stuff have been going down lately. They can finally come home, and I really, really missed them. No matter how many times I’ve had to clean up after them or they’ve given me half a heart attack every time they’re on the edge of somewhere high in the house. They were my siblings, I couldn’t just not care.
Jasmine helped me take down all of the elevators around the house. The only bad part about that is that we can’t exactly put them back once they’re off, so it’s going to be like this until I can find the time to put some in later. They’ve never had a problem being carried around everywhere anyways.
I sighed, laying down on my bed and staring at the ceiling. There wasn’t anything to do really. Dylan stayed in his room talking to Lucky while also playing whatever game he had, Jasmine was in the living room playing with Isabelle since no one else could at the moment. Usually Angela kept her busy.
“Ry!” I heard Jasmine’s voice yell through my door. I groaned. I didn’t feel like getting up. I just laid down not too long ago, can I not get a break?
“What!” I screamed back.
“Isabelle says she’s hungry!”
I placed a hand on my forehead, forcing my body under the covers. I was too tired to do anything, but I’m pretty sure we have some leftovers from last night she could eat. Jasmine and Dylan can make themselves something. I just wanted to get some sleep at this point.
“There’s leftovers in the fridge!”
I heard the fridge door open and close, then the microwave starting all the way from my room. I finally relaxed, the pillow cold under my head and my lights off with the blinds closed, blocking out any evening sun that threatened to creep inside my room. Perfect time to go to sleep. the best part about it was that I didn’t have school in the morning either. I was so physically and mentally exhausted I could just pass out. And I did.
——————
When I woke up, it was to the smell of burnt pancake batter, making me scrunch up my nose and hurry to the kitchen, where Jasmine was currently throwing out her entire plate of pancakes that were beyond burnt. I laughed, watching her hurry to turn off the stove that was surprisingly not on fire. Jasmine just glared at me, leaning agianst the counter in defeat. I walked up next to her, smirking the entire time, “You just lost to pancake batter.”
She playfully punched me in the shoulder, laughing along with me. I looked back at the box she had used, seeing that there was still enough for the four of us. I sighed, grabbing another bowl and placing the old one into the sink. Might as well make the rest if they really wanted pancakes.
“Why’d you try cooking? You hate being anywhere near a stove.” I asked, mixing together the powder with milk.
“You were asleep.” Her voice slightly a higher pitch. I looked back at her for a second, watching as she tapped her hand on the counter.
“What else?” I grabbed a new pan that didn’t have burnt remains of pancakes and turned on the stove. Dylan knew how to cook a little bit. Jasmine would have woken him up to help her. So why didn’t she?
“Nothing. Isabelle and I woke up about an hour ago and she just told me she was hungry.” Jasmine shrugged her shoulders. I poured some of the newly made batter into a pan and let it sit there for a couple seconds. She wasn’t going to tell me. At least not anytime soon. Better to just accept her answers now before she gets mad.
I stayed silent until Dylan walked into the room, immediately sitting down on top of the counter and yawning. He scrunched up his nose, the faint smell of smoke in the air, “What did Jasmine burn this time?” He joked, earning a punch to the shoulder that actually looked like it hurt.
Everyone grabbed their plates, and we all watched a cartoon in the living room. It just felt quiet without Dylan and Lucky constantly messing around with each other or Isabelle and Angela playing with their stuffed animals. I knew we all missed them. Just two more days. Two more days and they’ll be back with us. Everything was going to go back to normal. I’d really have to thank Nathan and his mom for helping us out so much. I smiled at the thought.
———Nathan———
Despite there being two more people in the house, is was actually relatively quiet. Which was surprising given that Ryker’s house was usually filled with a huge commotion. Maybe it was because they were away from each other? I really did feel bad. I mean, they all seemed really close to one another. Plus after Ryker told me what happened to their parents… It must be hard. I couldn’t think about leaving my mom for any reason, so it must be so much worse when it’s your own siblings.
They were going back this Sunday. Things have gone down and it’s nearly Christmas so I didn’t want them to miss that. Lucky was taking a nap on the couch while Angela was busy with a coloring book my mom had bought her the other day. She was currently coloring a picture of a parrot, and for a four year old she was surprisingly good at coloring. My mom was cooking dinner. I offered to do it instead but she just argued that she hasn’t cooked for me in a while. I just left it at that.
So now I was laying down on the couch. School was out for winter break finally. Which meant only five more months until I would be left alone again. Just my mom and I. I didn’t plan on going to college, maybe just a part time job. After what happened so many years ago I’ve been afraid to live on my own. But let’s not think about that right now.
What I was worried about was what if Ryker didn’t like the present I would be giving him. The concert tickets of course. They didn’t really cost much. Like a seventy dollars for two tickets? Not bad. I had bought everyone else’s gifts except for Dylan’s. I knew he liked sports and all that, but I couldn’t get him something like that. I had zero idea and I really needed to ask Lucky what to get him, because I’m pretty sure Lucky had bought something for him before he came here. I’d just have to ask. Not now though.
I know Ryker loves reading, drawing, cooking. What else? Lucky mentioned something about sweets? Like cookies and all that? How would I even do that? I can’t just bake something fifty times my size. I had thought about buying something like a cake but how would I even get it to him? I mean… I could ask for help. Maybe from Jasmine? Nope. Get that thought out of my mind. She hates my guts. Dylan then? That would mean I’d have to ask him for a favor, and I didn’t really want to. But how else would I give Ryker a good gift?
I guess that’s what I would do. But instead of buying one I’d ask Dylan to make it using my recipe. Would he though? I mean he seems like a nice guy. I guess the real question would be if I could be alone with him for about two hours. Or if could handle it at least. I’ve really only been around Ryker.
——————
After we ate dinner, it was around 7 but Angela already looked exhausted. My mom set her to sleep in the guest room before leaving for work. I didn’t get why she always overworked herself. I knew she was tired too, but yet she stays awake almost all day to take care of us, and then leaves for work at night. When it was just me here as soon as she came back she’d give me a hug, take a shower, and then head to bed until it was later in the evening. I guess having more people in the house is making her think she has to stay up. I can take care of everyone. I didn’t mind playing around with Angela, I didn’t mind joking Lucky in a game, or going outside with everyone. I also didn’t mind cooking for more than just two people. So I didn’t exactly know why she stayed awake when she was so tired.
“I can’t wait to head back home alreadyyyy.” Lucky groaned, the tv playing quietly in the background. He was on his phone while l sat reading a book as usual.
“Sorry.” I mumbled, closing my book and turning my head to face the tv that was currently playing a movie about some cops trying to catch a serial killer or something like that. I wasn’t paying attention.
Lucky stayed quiet for a while before facing me, “Sorry for what?”
“That you have to stay here.” I answered.
“It’s not even your fault. Plus, it’s not even bad here. I just miss being with my family, y’know?” Lucky explained, now facing the ceiling with his arms under his head. I nodded my head. I didn’t exactly know how he felt about this whole situation. I’m sure he realizes why he even has to be here. Because some people just don’t like humans.
I opened my book again, trying to get at least halfway done with it before I fall asleep. At least that was my goal. Honestly I was extremely tired for no reason. I go to bed relatively early, and since I don’t have school anymore I’ve been waking up at around nine in the morning everyday. I didn’t know why I felt so exhausted. I wasn’t too worried though. I feel fine in the morning so it’s fine.
“Can I ask you a question, Nathan?” Lucky asked, still staring at the ceiling.
“Sure?” It came out more as a question.
“Do you like Ryker?”
My eyes widened. What kind of a question was that? “Yeah. He’s a nice friend. Why wouldn’t I?” Lucky started laughing, sitting up and now looking right at me, “I meant like, like him. Y’know, like a couple?”
I felt my cheeks immediately heat up at the realization. Lucky started laughing so hard he was choking while I buried my face in my hands. This was embarrassing. I tried getting rid of the red blush that just seemed to be painted on me at this point. I groaned as Lucky caught his breath, still waiting on an answer, though I’m sure he’s already assume one.
I’ve never really thought about it. I mean I do like him as a friend. He’s done nothing but help me ever since I’ve met him. I really do like being with him too. But do I really like him? I could just be mistaking it for liking him as a friend. That was probably it really. I don’t think I do. Nope. Plus, what makes anyone think that Ryker would like me back? It just didn’t make any sense. was he even into boys? Was I even into anyone? I’ve always thought that no one would want to be around me pretty much my whole life. I don’t know anymore at this point. Why were we even on the topic?
“N-no. We’re just friends.” The blush on my face was still painted across my cheeks. Lucky just rolled his eyes, “Whatever you say.”
I grabbed my book that I had lightly thrown on the cushion next to me and hid my bright red face in it. Just forget about it. Why would he ask that question anyways? It so random to ask. I was so unprepared too. There was no way I could just forget about this.
———Ryker———
The cold air outside felt great. A thin layer of snow now covered the entire city from last nights little shower, and it just felt great to be outside. Today was going to be a good day. I could feel it. Today also happened to be the day that Lucky and Angela would be coming home with us, which we were all excited about.
Jasmine had work today, and of course she was angry. It actually took me a while to clam her down so she wouldn’t be late for work. So now it was just Dylan and Isabelle with me as we headed to the bus stop to go and get them. I guess this counts as a family reunion? I mean, we haven’t really seen each other for nearly a week. It may not seem that long, but when all you have are your siblings, it’s not easy to let go of them. Let alone be apart from them for this amount of time.
Nathan had already texted me that they were already waiting. Apparently his mom wanted to say goodbye to Angela because she grew attached to her. I wasn’t very surprised. They must be freezing though. I know this kind of weather is kind of amplified for humans too. My mind went back to that night that seemed like forever ago. When Nathan had just snuggled up as close as he wanted to me for warmth. My heart fell, and a small smile appeared on my face as we walked along the sidewalk.
When we arrived at the bus stop, Lucky had practically ran as fast as he could to Dylan’s hand. Isabelle stayed in the back, smiling. I had told her before we had left to keep her distance from these two. Mainly because I had noticed how alert Nathan was when Isabelle was around. But that’s not something I should worry about now.
I crouched down, watching a small four-year old girl stumble over the snow to get to me. I let down a finger for her to hang on to while I talked to Nathan and his mom, but I couldn’t help but notice how the woman standing next to Nathan flinched as soon as Angela had hugged my finger. Did she think I’d hurt my own sister? That-that can’t be it, right?
“Thank you both so much. I don’t know what I would do if you hadn’t helped.” I slightly smiled, they smile back, “Oh you’re welcome! If you need help you can send them our way anytime!” His mother offered. She was the complete opposite of Nathan. She didn’t seem sheepish around me at all. So then why was Nathan so afraid? The thought snuck into the back of my mind, but I just pushed it aside.
“Ready Angel?” I asked, waiting for her to nod her head, but instead she rushed over to Nathan’s mom, gave her a hug then hurried back. I chuckled, tilting my hand slightly for her to climb on herself. I turned to Nathan, who waved a little before quickly stuffing his hands into the pockets and scrunching up his jacket. Just as I called it, he was freezing. Maybe he wants to come with us for a little? I have to take them shopping since there was only a couple days until Christmas, and Dylan and Lucky still needed to find gifts.
“Wanna come with us, Nathan? We’re just going shopping then heading back to my house.” I asked. He looked shocked before turning to his mom who nodded and whispered something to him. Nathan nodded his head with a smile on his face. I let my hand down again, watching him lift himself up on the first try, but still trip over thin air and fall. I would help him, but judging by the way he reacted a week ago when I was just trying to check up on him, I don’t think I really want to freak him out even more.
I thanked his mom again for helping, and we left. Dylan and Lucky were catching up while we made our way to the small store where we usually go to. I handed Angela to Isabelle. She knew what to do and what not to do. I couldn’t imagine Isabelle ever hurting anyone or anything so it was fine.
Behind me, Lucky and Dylan were laughing about something, and it made me kind of curious, but I didn’t want to bother them. Even if they spent hours talking on the phone and as much time together in school as they could, they still acted like they haven’t seen each other for years. That’s what happens when you let them share a room when they were younger. It wasn’t a bad thing though. Not at all.
It wasn’t too early. Maybe about midday so it was a little warmer, but that didn’t stop me from worrying about the little ice cube in my palm that was shivering. Was he just sensitive to the cold? It would make sense. Not even Angela was, but then again she was wearing a thicker jacket. I slightly cupped my hand a little more, watching him adjust his position and bundle up a little more. My heart fell, I wish I could help more, but I was scared that he’d freak out again if I did anything more. The last thing I wanted was for him to be uncomfortable.
“We’re almost there. You okay?” I asked worriedly, passing by some people on the sidewalk that seemed to be coming back from shopping themselves. A lot of them were carrying bags and wrapping paper. So people had the same idea as us.
Nathan nodded his head, a slight smile on his face. Just a two more blocks. I looked back, seeing that Dylan was holding one of Isabelle’s hands and smirking right at me. Lucky was on his shoulder, and I’m guessing he was doing the exact same thing. I raised an eyebrow, making them both laugh. I rolled my eyes, turning to the huge parking lot coming into view. Surprisingly enough, there weren’t many cars. I guess it was a good thing we came relatively early.
As soon as I entered the store, I was hit with warm air, slightly making it hard to breath for the split second I was under the heater. I stared down at Nathan, who looked relieved, but he still felt like an ice cube in my hand. Just give him some time. He looked like he was doing better already. A small smile involuntarily formed on my face.
“Sooo it’s only Lucky and I picking out gifts today?” Dylan walked beside me.
“Well yeah. If Isabelle and Angela want to get some things too.” I shrugged my shoulders, walking over to the sitting area where the small deli stand was. There weren’t too many people here, and I was just kind of here to make sure everything would be okay. I needed to get gifts too, but I just need to go pick them up when the order is done.
“Alright. We won’t be long.” Dylan grabbed Isabelle’s hand again, asking her and Angela if they wanted to go pick out gifts for everyone. I laughed when they both cheered. Meanwhile, I let Nathan down on the table. It took him a while to catch his balance, but he just sat back down on the table instead of the human-sized table on top. It’s not like I minded though. We’ve shared a desk together since the start of school anyways.
“Feeling better?” I asked, holding my head up with one of my hands.
“Y-yeah,” He stuttered, playing with his hands, “Why’d you w-want me to come a-anyways?”
I shrugged my shoulders, “Why not? You could have said no if you didn’t want to come.”
He thought about his response for a bit, “Thank you.”
I was a bit surprised. Why was he thanking me? What did I do for him? Get him out of the house? I was about to ask what for, but I wasn’t going to. He probably has his reasons. Whatever’s going on in his mind I guess. But I could say I was grateful that he said yes. I would have probably just been on my phone while waiting for Lucky and Dylan to pick out gifts. It gets boring.
Crowds of people were leaving and some were entering. Every time someone had passed by us I couldn’t help but notice Nathan inch closer to me. Right. It’s been a while since we’ve really hung out I forgot he doesn’t really do well when other people are near him for whatever reason. I used my free hand to hide him from everyone’s sights. Maybe he’s just reticent. It wouldn’t be shocking. No offense!
“Um, what are you doing for Christmas?” I tried taking his mind off of whatever was going on in there. He slightly flinched, then shook his head like I had just brought him back to reality, “Ah, um, reading? We… We don’t r-really do Christmas. Just hand each other gifts and th-that’s it.” He smiled like that’s normal. Then again, as far as I know it was only him and his mom. Still, it must be pretty sad that the doesn’t really celebrate.
“That’s it?” I looked at him sadly as he nodded his head. Usually we just kind of decorate together, which was why I hadn’t even set up the tree yet, but then Dylan and I make dinner, and we just open gifts. It’s not like this big thing though. It used to be when my parents were still here.
“If you want to you can celebrate with us. You don’t need to get us gifts or anything either.” I offered, making him laugh. A confused look was plastered on my face before he explained, “I kinda… already have g-gifts for you all.”
I blinked a few times. That I was not expecting. When? Why? Why did he get us all gifts? He didn’t have to. Now I kind of feel bad that he actually spent money on us. Did he get one for everyone? I think he did.
“Huh? W-why?” I was at a loss for words. Of course I bought him something, and I really hoped he liked it, but now I have to worry if it’ll be equal to whatever he bought for me. My initial plan was to surprise him with it, but apparently he had the same idea. I just hoped that it wasn’t anything crazy expensive because then I’d really feel bad.
“You’ve all b-been really nice to m-me,” He started, “Oh yeah! I still d-don’t have anything for Dylan. D-do you mind helping me?”
“I mean, yeah of course, b-but how did you even…?” I was confused. How did he get presents if he’s… vertically challenged. Our size difference limits us a lot so how did he even buy gifts if they’d be fifty times bigger than himself? Even we struggle with that which explains why we all go Christmas shopping at different times with Lucky since Angela can’t walk into a human-sized store by herself.
“I haven’t b-bough them yet. I actually need y-your help with that too.” He laughed nervously. Now that makes more sense. I just nodded, smiling. Nathan was too good of a friend for me. I wasn’t expecting anything honestly. I would definitely give him a hug if I didn’t think he’d be afraid.
——————
I gave Nathan a list of everything Dylan was into, even the embarrassing stuff that only his family knows about, but I trust Nathan not to tell anyone. Eventually he found something and sent it to me to make sure. It was a poster of one of his favorite actors, signed and everything apparently. Dylan absolutely loves watching movies. Even the old ones made thirty years before he was even born. I don’t know where Nathan found that at, but oh my gosh if all the gifts are like that I am going to feel so bad that mine won’t even be comparable to his.
Right on time, Dylan and all of them came back with bags in their hands. We all left and walked back to our house. Like I said, today was a good day.
———Nathan———
Today really was a good day. I have no idea why I had thought that hits morning, but obviously it wasn’t lying to me. It’s been a while since I’ve hung out with Ryker, so of course I said yes to his invitation. Before I left my mom just whispered for me to go, like she was going out to do something as well. I knew she took off work today as well so obviously something was happening there. But I completely forgot about it while I was at Ryker’s house.
It was already getting late. The sun just barely peaking out over the horizon. There was a light snow outside, covering the already frosted ground outside. It was nice and warm inside, with the heater on and slightly blowing right on me. I was snuggled up near the windowsill in the living room, blanket on top of me and staring outside watching the sun go down. Ryker was helping his siblings wrap gifts, so it was just me for now. It was surprisingly quiet except for the faint crinkling of wrapping paper.
The front door opened wide, letting in cold air that slightly stung my face. I peaked my head around the wall that obstructed my view, seeing a girl with long, curly black hair with a few dark purple streaks walk into the house, carrying a two bags and a uniform that looked like it belonged to a gas station. I guess Jasmine was working or something? Either way, I pressed myself up father into the corner, trying not to be seen by her. She scares me. Even if Lucky said she’s a lot nicer than she’s been to me, I don’t exactly think she’ll ever like me.
“Ry! I’m home!” She screamed from across the house. I stayed under the blanket, staying hidden. I have a feeling the second she sees me she’ll start asking questions or threaten me. Luckily, she didn’t see me, and instead headed off to her room, soon followed by the sound of the shower starting.
Ryker walked back into the room, grabbing something off from a table and leaving again. Then everyone had started bringing in the now wrapped presents and placing them on the on the floor. Ryker came back with a box and set it down beside the couch. I forced myself to crawl a bit closer to see what they were doing. Setting up a Christmas tree. I’m guessing they had the ornaments in the box too.
“Alright, you guys go crazy.” Ryker laughed, opening up the box and walking to the couch by the windowsill I was currently sitting down at. He sat down, sighing and turned to check on me. I flashed a smile, earning one back.
I watched as Dylan set up the tree for everyone while Isabelle quickly grabbed some white streamers and draped all over the tree messily. My attention was turned to the still form on the couch next to me. Ryker’s chest slowly fell and rose, his eyes closed and covered up in the blanket. He looked comfortable…
Was he asleep? Probably. I would too if I had to keep up with this many people. Was it hard? Well no duh, Nathan. He always looks tired when he’s at school. Should I leave now then? I didn’t want to wake him up when I had to go. I would feel terrible. Actually, now would be a great time to ask Dylan about getting Ryker an extra gift in case he won’t like the one I have for him. The only problem is mustering up the courage to even talk to him. Alone. I think it’d be fine though. It’s only for a little bit until I can eventually make this.
It took them around twenty minutes to place all of their ornaments on the tree, but they did. None of them dared to wake up Ryker after they were done either. Jasmine walked into the room, dressed up in white sweatpants and a sweater. She walked up to Ryker, rolling her eyes with a smile on her face before she noticed me. Her smile disappeared as she glared at me. I sank back, burying myself in the blanket. What did I do to her?
She averted her attention to the tree, smiling and talking with both Isabelle and Angela. Thanking them for helping with the tree and then continued to play around with Angela in her hands. No wonder she threatened me so much when she had to watch Angela leave. Jasmine was really attached to her. Kind of like my mom.
“Boo!” I physically jumped, my heart racing from the scare. I looked behind me, seeing Lucky laughing, nearly choking. Dylan was also laughing, but I just smiled. Where did he even come from?
“Oh my gosh you should have seen your face!” Dylan let out a hand for me to help me get on my feet. It took me a while to balance myself from sitting down for so long, but I managed.
“You want to get out of here for a bit?” Lucky asked just as soon as Dylan offered an open palm. I stared at it, wide-eyed. I really only trust Ryker to hold me, but I guess this won’t be so bad.
“Sure.” Lucky grabbed my wrist as we walked on, and for the first time in my life I didn’t trip and fall on my face embarrassingly. Okay, so I had help this time but one day I’ll be able to do it on my own. Hopefully. Or maybe I won’t even have to.
Dylan took us to his room, where there were tons of posters of games and a little tv stand with a shelf full of some books that he probably needed for school and some games along with VHS tapes. I was honestly really surprised by the place. I don’t know why expected there to be sporty things like weights and basketballs. Y’know. What athletes have.
There was a bedside dresser with a few human-sized things on it which I was guessing was Lucky’s temporary room. I was guessing these two just shared a room since his other room wasn’t at all filled with things. Just a few clothes and a dresser. I’m guessing everything else was here.
Lucky and I were set down on the dresser while Dylan sat down on his bed. Lucky gave me a short tour of his own little room before letting me sit down on his bed while he sat in a chair. It was quiet for a second before Jasmine’s voice screamed from the other room, “Lucky!”
He groaned in response while Dylan snickered, letting lucky onto the floor. It was just the two of us now. I waited until I saw Lucky leave before trying my hardest to calm down before I had a actually tried to talk to Dylan by myself. I could when there were people around. What’s so different this time? I had no one to save me if I said the wrong thing.
“Oh hey, I’ve been meaning to ask you what you got Ryker for Christmas. Lucky told me you had something good.” Dylan spoke first, a grin on his face. Well I already told Lucky, so if I don’t tell Dylan he’ll just end up telling him. There was no point in hiding it.
“C-concert tickets.” I answered, hoping he could hear. I was guessing he did by the reaction. His eyes went wide and his jaw slightly opened wide in shock.
“That one band he’s absolutely crazy for?”
I nodded my head. Not the way I would word it. I actually kind of find it funny how much Ryker loves that band. I forgot the name, but he’ll remind me when I show him the tickets.
“Oh my gosh he’s gonna to go crazy.” Dylan laughed. Does that mean he’ll like it? If that’s so then I don’t need to ask for help. This makes my life so much easier. I’m so glad I don’t have to ask for any favors. It’s not exactly a grate first impression to immediately ask for something. I let out a sigh of relief.
——————
I didn’t leave the house until about an hour after Ryker woke up. It was close to midnight, but it’s not like I’m some little kid who has a bed time. Heck, we don’t even have school tomorrow so it really didn’t matter.
When I arrived home, my mom was asleep on the couch, the tv playing The Golden Girls per usual and the blanket halfway on the ground. I smiled to myself, pulling the blanket over her and turning up the heater. She was freezing. I headed to my room, grabbed a pair of clothes, took an extremely hot shower, and buried myself under the blankets. Things were going great. Maybe life really didn’t hate me all that much.
———Ryker———
It was Christmas Day. The day everyone was waiting for. Especially Angela and Isabelle who woke me up at six in the morning to wish everyone in the house a merry Christmas. I admit, I was just the slightest bit annoyed, but that was because I went to bed late at night cleaning up and setting up gifts. I also had to take out some food to defrost for later.
This morning was a huge mess. Even if we weren’t really doing anything until later, I still had to go pick up a few things before. The day before I helped Nathan with the gifts he had bought, which by the way he ordered online (I don’t know how I didn’t think about this sooner) I wrapped the one’s I could while he wrapped the other two that belonged to Lucky and Angela. I was honestly surprised at how thoughtful he was. He even bought one for Jasmine and I know for a fact that Jasmine would absolutely love it. Although she doesn’t like to admit it, she absolutely loves stuffed animals. I just don’t know how he even knew. Was he just guessing? Then I also noticed that he was hiding mine from me. I wondered what it could be, but I would find out later today.
I also had to go pick him up today, but that wasn’t my priority right now. I planned on going early in the morning, but the snow was coming down pretty heavy so I had to wait. I wouldn’t have minded heading out there, it’s just I didn’t want to get sick. I rarely do, but when it does happen, it’s terrible. So now it was almost four in the afternoon, only about two hours before all the stores started closing. Just barely making it in time to go pick up the cake Jasmine had ordered. Why she didn’t get it herself? I had zero idea. I would have made her get it if she hadn’t been half asleep.
Once in the store, the sweet smell of strawberry and chocolate filled my nose. Curse my sweet tooth. Where did she even find this place at? It was like in the middle of nowhere, yet it looked so nice inside and smelled delicious. A woman walked up to the counter, her apron dressed in icing and batter.
“Hi! Did you have an order?” She smiled, ready to tap away at the screen in front of her.
“Oh, um, I think it’s under the name Jasmine?” I replied, not being able to take my eyes off of the amazing looking cookies that were displayed.
“Yup! Let me just go get the box.” She left the room. Jasmine purposely made me come get this. She was doing something at home, and she thought she could distract me. Damn it it’s working.
The woman came back with a white box and typed something in the computer before l grabbed the box, and I guess she saw me looking at the displays because she just laughed, “I’ll give you a small box for free. How’s that sound?”
“Yes please.” I almost immediately replied, laughing along with her. I swear if Jasmine makes fun of me for this when I get home… I was handed another small box while I thanked the lady and left.
When I walked in the house, Jasmine was waiting right at the front door, a huge smirk on her face. I glared at her.
“Why the extra box?” She could barely hold in her snicker. I rolled my eyes, “Shut up. You’re not getting any.” I stuck my tongue out immaturely, while she tried reaching for the extra box I was holding just above my head. She gave up about two minutes later, snatching the cake from my hands and muttering something as she made her way to the kitchen.
I looked at the time, reading six thirty already. Now would be a good time to go quickly pick up Nathan. I gave him a quick text, placed the box of cookies in my room, and went back out.
——————
It only took me about half an hour to walk over there and back. Everyone knew Nathan was coming, and I don’t think I’ve ever been more excited. I mean, he’s never had a real Christmas according to him, so I’m glad I can at least give him the opportunity. Even if we aren’t family or anything, I think it’s a nice change of things. Plus, afterwards the younger ones go to bed while the rest of us stay up a little longer and go to our separate rooms. Really I was the only one alone because Jasmine falls asleep almost immediately. Nathan was actually staying the night, and not in the human accommodating house. I didn’t want him to be alone so I had offered to make a little space for him in my room. He agreed.
So now we were at the house, Nathan sitting down in my room away from the chaos happening. I was cooking, Dylan clearing the middle of the living room for later, Jasmine keeping the little ones busy, Lucky was taking a shower. Things were going great surprisingly enough. This was only the second time time we’ve celebrated without our parents, so I was expecting something to happen, but everyone seemed happy. The first time was hard for us, and we barely even wanted to celebrate, but it’s what our parents would have wanted, so we kept on going.
The food was relatively done, I just needed to go get some plates and get everyone in here. I went to my room, finding Nathan sitting on the makeshift bed I made out of some soft cloth I cut off of one my hoodies. What? I don’t used that one anymore. I would have been more than happy to let him on my bed and I sleep on the floor (I’m sure he was terrified just as much as I was about what could happen if we slept on the same bed) but I figured he’d feel bad, so I tried to make it as comfy as possible.
“Sorry for just leaving you here. I wasn’t sure if you’d be okay with the chaos happening in the other room.” I explained, offering a hand. He shook his head, stepping on and falling forward yet again. He’ll get it at some point. Hopefully.
“It’s fine.” He replied, groaning as he sat back up.
Lucky was already making the three of them a plate. I don’t really know where he learned how to do it, but he just did. I wasn’t complaining. It was less work for me anyways. As soon as everyone had their plate, we ate around the coffee table, laughing and sometimes messing around with one another. Jasmine had brought up the cookies again before I lightly slapped her shoulder.
Once we all finished eating, it was time for presents, which I handed out to everyone. Nathan told me to let everyone know to open the present he gave them last just so he knows how much they would all really like it. I just went along with it, so now everyone was kind of excited. I opened mine, getting one of the hoodies I had shown Jasmine just a few days ago. From Dylan a pair of new headphones since my old ones broke sadly. Lucky bought me some new markers since my old ones were dry. Isabelle and Angela combined their gifts and gave me a little picture frame of both of them (My heart was melting) that I would definitely be placing on the tv stand later.
It was weird for me since I didn’t have a physical gift from Nathan, and I didn’t really know how to react to that. Just what did he get me? I was so confused, but I waited patiently. I’m sure I’d love whatever it is either way.
Everyone was done opening their gifts, only left with one. Nathan jumped when all the attention was on him, visibly trembling. I stepped in for him. “Jasmine should go first.” I grinned. She rolled her eyes, grabbing the box I had stuffed the gift in.
“Like this is gonna be good…” She mumbled. I elbowed her side while Nathan looked down a little sadly. Just wait…
As soon as she had opened it, her jaw nearly dropped. She glared at me for a split second before turning back to the adorable looking teddy bear. She hates admitting it, but she loves those kinds of things.
“Okay, maybe you’re not so bad after all.” She smiled at him for the first time ever.
“My turn!” Isabelle and Angela both opened theirs at the same time, revealing a matching set of clothes. I had to cover my ears from the high pitched squeals. Nathan laughed, covering his ears too.
Lucky opened his, a game that he’s been wanting for forever. He hugged Nathan, he flinched at the contact, but either way hugged him lightly back. Dylan followed, confused at what his could be before he opened it up all the way and stuttered, struggling to find what to say.
“H-how did you…” He looked over the me, but I just shrugged and smirked.
“You are literally the best.” Dylan laughed, folding the paper back up.
We all laughed, including Nathan who was walking closer to me, waiting on the edge. Was he waiting for something? Oh! I let me hand out, seeing him use my thumb to help him balance so he didn’t embarrass himself in front of everyone. I brought him closer, confused the entire time as he pulled out his phone, and seconds later my own phone going off. He pointed at his as I hurried to pull mine out, and nearly dropped my phone when I saw the pictures he sent.
“You’re kidding, right?” I felt my face heat up slightly, watching him shake his head and laugh a bit. I did a double take before covering my mouth with my free hand.
“Told you he’d love it!” Dylan smiled.
I absolutely do yes.
“I-I, um, wasn’t sure if you’d like it.”
“Are you kidding? This is literally the best thing you could have ever given me.” I laughed, trying my hardest to hide the blush on my face, but it was too late because everyone was laughing except for Angela and Isabelle. Including me. Oh my gosh this was so much better than my gift to him. How was I even going to compare to his?
I looked to Lucky, who nodded his head and grabbed it really quickly before I even let Nathan back onto the table. Lucky handed it to him and pointed at me. Nathan started opening it, stopping halfway as he tried to figure out what it was. It wasn’t anything too special. Just a picture frame of the two of us. A picture we had taken a long time ago when we had to share classes. The same day that we hung out together for the first time.
“It’s not anything special. I’m not the best at picking gifts, but I hope you like it.”
I was surprised when he hugged it close to his chest and looked like he was about to cry.
“Awww.” Lucky joked around. I couldn’t help but notice the slight blush on his cheeks. He loved it.
We cleaned up, had the younger kids go to sleep and Jasmine. Dylan and Lucky were in their room watching a movie, while my door was closed along with my curtains. The only light was coming from the dim lamp I had on my desk. I let Nathan down on the nightstand. We were both changed into something more comfortable. So now it was just the two of us.
“I can’t believe you bought me tickets.” I exasperated, still in shock.
“Well yeah. You’re really nice to me, help me out a whole lot.”
I turned to face him, a slight smile on my face, “Really? I feel like you’re the one always helping me.” He nodded his head. It went silent for a bit before I decided to break it, “Are you tired?” Honestly, I was exhausted, but I was willing to keep Nathan company until he fell asleep.
“Mmm… yeah.” He replied, already under a blanket. I chuckled lightly, gettin under my own, “Good night then.”
“Good night, Ryker.” I heard him reply. I’ve rarely heard him say my name before, and I don’t know why my face started heating up.
Four days later.
———Nathan———
Everything was going so great. The Christmas party at Ryker’s was amazing. Even the few days before that it was great just the be with everyone. My mom was happy, I was happy. Life was finally turning around for me. For the first time in years I finally felt like I could actually have a normal life. I had friends, I was going to graduate in five months. Everything was looking all up for me.
So why did it get flipped back around?
My mom and I were just going to go buy fireworks. Just the small ones. Nothing too huge. That’s all we wanted. This was really the only thing we truly celebrated together since it marked the start of the a new year. It marked that we could restart our lives over again. We loved watching the many colors paint the sky. That’s all we wanted. And we couldn’t have it.
We were just in the wrong place at the wrong time I guess? Because everyone just acted like nothing had happened. That everything was going to be fine and okay. But it wasn’t. Nothing was “fine and okay.” I had really thought that maybe my life was finally turning around for the better just like my mom’s had, but no. I can never have anything nice just once. Just once I wanted something nice. And I couldn’t have it. Just like the fireworks we couldn’t have.
The store we were shopping at was relatively empty. Only a few people here and there. The only thing about it was that it was really close to the giant part of the city. That was all we were wary about. But we brushed it off. After all, we would only be there for about an hour then head back home.
“Ooo these look nice, right?” My mom picked up a tiny pack. I smiled, holding out the basket I was holding and let her place it in along with the two other tiny packs we had. We had continued looking, not at all aware of the large tremors that only grew more and more. And neither did the other people in the store. We all had just thought it was some unaware giant walking across the street. If only that were true.
The next thing we know, there’s screaming outside, we heard people fighting, we were rushed outside so we didn't get hurt, but we shouldn’t have ran outside. Two giants were fighting right in the open. Brutally at that. One had a very muscular build while the other was built, but not as muscular as the guy on top of him, laying punches in the face. People tried to break up the fight, but it only grew worse, and soon enough, the giants decided to bring humans into it. The one that was being pouched in the face continuously had tried to reach practically anything he could, and that just so happened to be a human-sized tree from a nearby park. Right where my mom was standing dialing 911.
I mean, what are the chances of that? It seemed like a made up lie, but it wasn’t. Trust me, I’ve tried my hardest to convince myself that it wasn’t real, that there was no way my mom would just be standing there and it just so happens that the giant would try reaching for the tree right next to her. Hah! It was ridiculous, right? I only wished I wasn’t telling the truth.
I stood in fear as I heard her scream at the top of her lungs while in the giant’s fist which was also holding the huge tree that looked minuscule in his hand. I couldn’t move. My mom was there. Getting hurt. And all I could do was stand and watch.
Eventually help did come, all the other humans had gone away except for the few that actually cared about what happened with my mom. I knew I was, because as soon as the paramedics came to see how she was doing, I nearly started sobbing in front of so many people. I’ve seen her like this before. She’ll be okay. Just let her heal for a few weeks and she can come back home. Right? I wish that were true. I wish that we hadn’t even decided to go to that stupid store. I wished that she was standing right next to me. But she wasn’t. And now everything I’ve worked so hard to build up here in this city is just taken away.
I stayed at the hospital, right next to my mom’s limp and weak body. The doctors were trying their hardest to keep her from… you can probably guess. Five broken ribs, a broken leg, and internal bleeding. I’m also pretty sure the doctor’s were hiding something from me, but I don’t know. She couldn’t breath well, and she winces every time she tries to move. Every time she wakes up she tells me to go home and get some rest. I tell her that I wasn’t leaving until she would be able to come home with me.
Today was no different. She would wake up, struggle to sit up, and eat her breakfast while I stayed sitting on the little bench. The doctor’s let me stay the night. I guess they felt bad or something? I didn’t know, but I wasn’t leaving her here. My phone would go off at least two times a day. It was always Ryker. I’m guessing he had heard what had happened, but I really didn’t feel like talking. Not now when this was when my mom needed me most.
“You should…. Eat…. Hon.” She had to take a few breaths between each word, which worried me, but the doctor’s would help with that. I believed it.
“I’m okay mom. Don’t worry about me.” My voice was light and tired. I didn’t feel hungry, but I knew my body was. I hadn’t eaten since the day she came here which was about three days ago. School starts tomorrow, but they called and said I didn’t have to come back until two weeks.
I refused to cry over this. If I did, then it would show that I’d given up. Mom always hated to see me cry. So I wouldn’t. I wouldn’t have to anyways since she would be coming back home with me.
My phone started going off again. Everyday at exactly nine and six Ryker would call, and I would let it ring until he was sent to voicemail. I didn’t want to talk to anyone. I didn’t want to eat. I didn’t want to do anything but stay here with my mom and make sure she gets better. If she doesn’t then I don’t know what I would do.
“Maybe… you should… talk to him.” She wheezed. I shook my head, “I don’t feel like talking to anyone.”
“He’s worried, Nate. Just… promise me… you’ll talk to him?” I thought about it for a second before nodding my head. I was already hanging onto a promise her and I made all those years ago.
——————
“Mom!”
“Yes, Nate?”
“Do you promise to stay with me for forever?” I hung onto the hem of her tattered dress.
“Of course.” She smiled down at me.
——————
She had to keep that promise. She’s all I have left. Dad was already gone… I didn’t want to lose her too.
“Honey, go get some breakfast. For me, please?” She had begged, and I just couldn’t say no. I walked over to the door, and told I would be back.
———Ryker———
What happened three days ago was heartbreaking. At first I didn’t believe it. That’s a really big stretch, but it happened. How do I know? Because I’ve been calling and calling Nathan, and he doesn’t answer. It’s almost like he doesn’t wan tot talk, but then again I did the same with my own siblings after our parents passed away. I pushed them away and locked myself in my room. That’s what was happening with Nathan.
I had heard his mom was in the hospital, still healing, and I really do hope that she would be okay. Her and Nathan. It’s going to break Nathan if she… y’know.
Everyday I call him twice, he never answered. I understood why. I couldn’t be mad at him. The same thing happened to me. I pushed everyone away, and I only pulled myself together when I realized that they were also hurting. They helped me out like they did each other and now look at us. Back to some-what normal. Not to mention that they didn’t know how to cook or clean.
I groaned, leaning back in my desk chair while looking at my phone. I felt terrible. All I wanted to do was to try and help him out as much as I could. I would give him anything he needed. I know how bad it gets, and I would hate to see him like that.
My phone was going off, and I was surprised to see that Nathan was actually calling me back. I quickly picked up my phone and clicked the green phone button.
“Oh my gosh Nathan! Are you okay? I-I heard what happened and-“
“This is Ryker, right?” It was a raspy woman’s voice. His mom.
“Oh, y-yes ma’am.” My hands were shaking, my heart racing. I don’t know why.
“I-I’m sorry to ask… you of this but… can you do something… for me?” I covered my mouth, my heart throbbing. She sounded terrible. How could Nathan still be there and listen to his own mother like this? I couldn’t if I was him. Oh Nathan…
“Anything!”
I heard her lightly chuckle, “Just make sure… Nate doesn’t do anything bad… please? H-he’s really not… doing good.”
“Of course.” I would imagine he wouldn't be doing too good.
“Thank you.”
“You’re welcome.”
She hung up.
I threw my phone on my bed, worried about what Nathan was even doing. I really am worried about him. So is nearly all of my siblings. Including Jasmine. I really wanted to talk to him. But I don’t think he’s going to school for the next couple of weeks. How do I know? Because I have the exact same message from the school. Also with a small note from Mrs. Kay saying that I should be there for him. Why wouldn’t I? I’m not a fake friend. I just hoped Nathan would call me eventually.
———Nathan———
She wasn’t getting any better. Actually, I think she was getting worse. The doctor’s increased the amount of pain meds for her, and nearly everyday they have to do an emergency procedure because she couldn’t breath right. That’s when I received the news that she had a punctured lung, which explains why she couldn’t breath properly. But that wasn’t good news. There was none. Anything I had heard was something that was wrong with her.
It was evening now, I was reading a book while she had the channel turned on to The Golden Girls. Everything was peaceful until she had a fit of coughs, and eventually the heart monitor was beeping fast. The doctors rushed in, and I could hear her struggle to breath again.
“Mom!” I yelled, watching as they had rushed her down the hallway.
“I love you, Nate.” She formed a weak smile right before they shut the door on me to the procedure room.
——————
I came back home after a week of staying in the hospital on that uncomfortable bench. I had a bag over my shoulder, and stood in the empty living room. It was quiet. You could only hear the faint sounds of crickets outside in the dark. I headed to my room, turned on the lamp in my room, and laid down in my bed, holding the old teddy bear up against my chest.
She was gone.
Tears formed in my eyes, but I didn’t let them fall. Don’t cry. Don’t cry. Don’t cry. And I didn’t. She wouldn’t want to see me like that. She would say that there was no reason to cry. But there was. I had no one now. Just myself. What would I do now? I sucked in a shaky breath, falling asleep and hoping that all of those was just some sick nightmare.
When I woke up the next morning, it was quiet still. I stood up, changed my clothes and headed to the living room, where no one was sitting down watching tv. I headed to my mom’s room, finding her bed messy. She always makes sure it’s made before leaving the house.
So it really wasn’t a nightmare.
I wasn’t hungry. At least I didn’t feel hungry. I had only eaten that one day, and even then all I had was half a muffin. It’s been about four days since then. I felt that my body was weak, but I didn’t care. There was nothing for me to care about. I had just thought for once second that everything was alright. That everything was going great, and then this happens. It’s just my luck, right?
My phone was going off. It hasn’t for a while. Ryker was calling again, and I still didn’t really feel like talking to anyone. Of course I realized that he was just trying to check up on me, but I really wasn’t up to the task. I wasn’t even up to the task of making myself something to eat, so what makes anyone think I could hold a conversation.
It was cold in the house, so I just grabbed a blanket and bundled myself up on the couch. The tv was on in the background. It was usually on, and I was so used to it playing something while I was in my room reading or taking a nap. What was I supposed to do with my life now? There really was no meaning if I didn’t have anyone anymore. Ryker could move on. He didn’t need to worry about me. I was just a temporary friend anyways.
Why am I thinking like this?
I can’t believe I fell for a false ending. I thought I could just live a happy life now. Of course whatever bad luck was following me never went away. I could keep wishing all I want, but it wouldn’t bring any of my parents back. I could cry, but it wouldn’t bring them back. No matter how hard it was to keep the tears from falling. They would hate to see me like that. They would also hate to see me alone, but it was hard to choose between the two.
I don’t want to leave Ryker.
I groaned, burying my face into my hands. Maybe Ryker would give up on me too if I stayed quiet long enough. He’d eventually stop calling me everyday and find a new friend that was much, much better than me. Then again… I don’t want to lose him too. I really do like him. He’s been nothing but patient and kind to me. This was how I’d be repaying him? I was a horrible person. I would tell him that I’m sorry if I had the guts to. But I don’t. There’s nothing more I want in the world than to just cry and cry and cry, and I couldn’t.
“I’m trying to keep myself together, mom.” I whispered, stifling back a sob and burying my entire body under the sheets. I felt terrible. I deserve everything that’s happened to me… I’m a horrible person and no one would disagree with me.
——————
For the next four days I just slept. Off and on. There were some days I would sit outside in the cold and watch as people walked down the street or how many cars went passing by. I’d go back inside, lay down on the couch with my little bear and go to sleep. I didn’t feel like doing anything else, and somehow I woke up the next day feeling even more tired than before. I didn’t know if that was a sign that my body was giving up on me, or if was from the lack of food that I’ve been neglecting to give to my body. I just haven’t been feeling like it.
Ryker never stopped calling, and each time he did my heart throbbed. Each time he called I had to hold in the tears that were already so hard not to let out. All of a sudden I wanted nothing more than for him to hold me close and keep me warm like he used to. I missed it. I missed him. Which was an odd thing for me to say. I grew too used to him, but was that really a bad thing? It just means it’ll hurt more when he eventually leaves me. He’ll take one good look at me now, and abandon me. Even the slightest mention of the thought was enough for me to not to answer his calls. I wanted to answer so badly.
Please help me.
I always repeated in my mind. I still had his gift. The picture of the two of us the first time we ever hung out together. I didn’t realize how small I really was next to him until I saw that photo, but I loved it. I had a real smile on my face. I haven’t been able to do that for a while.
This morning wasn’t any different, I sat outside for a while until I couldn’t feel my fingers, walked back inside, grabbed a book, and read until I fell asleep. When I woke up, I’d put the tv on, clean up whatever little mess was in the house, and head back outside for a little. I at least like to get a little bit of sunlight everyday. I wasn’t really taking the best care of myself, but I could just do this one little thing. It couldn’t hurt me anymore than I already was.
Maybe I could walk over to Ryker’s?
That was an insane thought. There was no way I could do it. Plus, he probably doesn’t even want to see me. He’s called so many times I forgot what number I was at. Why would he want to see me? I really haven’t been the best. At all. Though… I could at least try. I know where he lives. I’ve been there plenty of times to know. I really did want to see him too.
I grabbed my phone, zipped up my jacket, and started to walk slowly down the sidewalk. It was a long walk just to reach the small gas station that was close by their house. The sun was long gone, it was cold and snowing lightly outside, my face was freezing and my skin stung from the cold, but I kept on going. I was almost there. If he wanted to see me, he’d let me in and I could be warm again, have someone to talk to, finally be comfortable. If he doesn’t, then I’d be left out in the cold and get hypothermia unless I can make it back to my house in time.
In total, it took me nearly an hour and a half to reach their house. I stared at the huge door in front of me, shivering. This was a bad idea. This could either go really good, or end really badly. I guess there was only one way to find out.
I grabbed my phone with my shaking, ice-cold hands and called Ryker back.
———Ryker———
Everyone was gone on some overnight school trip. The entire district. It was to some theme park a couple hours away from here, and I didn’t really feel like attending. Actually, I haven’t even been going to school since I received that message. I’ve been hanging onto hope that Nathan would eventually answer one of my calls. He never did.
So now, here I was, watching a movie by myself in the living room. It was pretty late, but might as well finish off the movie. I was sitting down with a bowl of half-eaten popcorn when my phone started ringing. Probably just one of my siblings-
It was Nathan.
I freaked out, quickly pausing the movie and placing the bowl I had on the coffee table in front of me before answering.
“Hello?”
It took a while for Nathan to reply, but he did, and I was more than shocked.
“U-um. C-c-could you o-o-open your d-d-door?”
He just walked all the way from his house to mine. In the cold. While it was snowing. Of course I hurried to open the door, seeing the small being that was Nathan on my doorstep, shivering. I dropped my phone of the floor, scooping him up into my hand, hearing him let out a tiny squeak before I shut the door behind us.
I gave him a second to catch his breath, his chest quickly rising up and down. I apologized so many times as I slid down the door. Nathan did not look good at all. He looked skinnier, I could tell he wasn’t really taking care of himself. I waited for him to say something, but he was struggling himself just to find the words.
I wasn’t mad at him. Not at all. I’ve wanted to see him. I’ve wanted him to say for me to help him. Was this the time? I would do everything I could for him. Starting with making him something to eat since I’m positively sure he hasn’t been eating. I technically made a promise to his mom and I was not about to break it.
“Did… did you want something to eat?” I whispered. It took him a second to process what I asked him, but he nodded, and I couldn’t tell if he was shivering of trembling in my hand. I stood up slowly, guiding us to the kitchen and tilting my hand on the counter for him to get off. I grabbed a plate of leftovers I made for myself last night and started heating it up in the microwave. I watched with sympathy as he scooted his back up against the paper towels and dug his head into his knees. He felt bad.
“H-hey look, I promise I’m not mad at all. I understand why you didn’t answer my calls.” I tried to make him feel better. It’s not like I would lie to him. Nathan just shook his head, taking deep breaths to stop himself from crying. I bit the inside of my cheek, hearing the microwave go off. I took out the small container of chicken and rice and worked on making Nathan a small enough plate. I handed him the small pieces, offering a small smile as he took a bite.
I waited until he was full, seeing that he didn’t really eat much, but it was better than nothing. Then, went over to the living room to turn off the tv. Obviously he wasn’t going home tonight. He was probably exhausted anyways, and I never did get rid of those makeshift accommodations for him. I don’t think he really wants to be alone either.
“Do you wanna go lie down for a bit?” I asked, my hand palm up and ready for him to climb on. Nathan nodded his head, climbing on and sitting in the middle, a little warmer now. I closed the door to my room and turned on the lamp on my desk. I placed my hand on the nightstand for him to get off, but he didn’t Instead, he shook his head, grabbing as much of my sweater sleeve as he could and hung on tight. My heart fell. He just wanted someone to be there for him, and how could I deny him that?
I smiled, sitting down up against the head of my bed and just let him stay in my palm. He was hurting, and I couldn’t just leave him like that. That’s when he let go and pointed back to the set up I had on my nightstand.
“Hey, hey, it’s okay. I don’t mind. I get why you’re upset. I’ve been through the same thing.” His eyes went wide before shaking his head, “It’s not the same thing! I watched the doctors take her away. She said ‘I love you’ right before she went through the doors, and she never came out. She knew she wasn’t going back with me. I had no one waiting for me at home because my dad was also killed right in front of my face! I’ve been depressed and lonely for years, and I had no one. Did you have to watch your own parents die in front of your face? Were you alone after everything happened? No, because you had your siblings to help you!” He covered his mouth as I stared wide-eyed right back at him. He wasn’t wrong. I had people help me. Nathan didn’t. Which was why I wanted to help him. But the next words that came out of his mouth shook me to the core.
“Please don’t hurt me. I-I’m s-sorry.”
He brought his knees up to his chest and covered his head with his arms. My heart skipped a beat. He was afraid of me, and that just made me horrified. He never told me what happened to him before he moved here. He never told me why he was so afraid of giants. So, whatever had happened was obviously was affecting how he felt right now.
“What? No, never little guy. Why would I hurt you?”
“You’re not mad?”
I shook my head, “Not at all.”
I watched as he wiped away loose tears, sniffling them back and scooting closer to me. I braced myself for what I knew what was coming next.
———Nathan———
Once the tears had started flooding my eyes, there was nothing I could do to stop from crying in front of Ryker now. I bit the side of my cheek so hard the faint taste of blood filled my mouth. Don’t cry. Don’t cry, don’t cry. But my own words didn’t stop the tears from cascading down my face.
Ryker fixed my position in his palm while I struggled to wipe away the loose tears that were only falling down harder the more I kept thinking about the tragic events that have happened this past month. Why? Why’d she have to leave me here?
I was full on sobbing at this point. I had buried my face in Ryker’s hoodie to muffle the sounds of my cries. I could hear the faint sound of his heartbeat, I could hear his light breathing. I’m sorry. I’m so sorry, Ryker. Is what I wish I could say to him, but I currently couldn’t
Something warm pressed me up lightly against Ryker’s chest. I flinched, slightly turning my head to see that the pad of his thumb was offering some kind of comfort. It felt weird to me, but somehow I liked it? I didn’t want him to let go of me, but I was also scared at the same time.
“It’s okay, it’s okay. I’m right here, Nathan.” Ryker whispered softly, noticeably trying to comfort me while I just cried and cried into the fabric of his hoodie. I’m sorry Ryker. I wanted to say it so badly, but I couldn’t. Why did he worry about me so much? I should be at home, alone, crying into my pillow. Why did he want to stay with an insignificant little human whose life somehow gets turned upside down every other month?
“I’m s-s-sorry.” I managed to say in between sobs. He lightly squeezed me against him before responding, “You’re the one who’s hurt, Nathan. You don’t have to apologize if I’m the one who wants to help you, okay?”
And I could practically hear the sad smile forming on his face as he continued to offer a comforting presence.
I quietly kept on crying, grabbing fistfuls of as much fabric as I could while feeling safe up against his chest. Was this what I needed? To be held just like this and cry and cry? It felt so good. I didn’t want Ryker to ever let go of me. The soft, warm touch on my back felt amazing.
“I-I miss her, Ryker.” I cried in between sobs.
“I know, I know. It’s alright,” He started lightly rubbing my back, making me slightly shudder, “Do you want me to let you go?” I quickly shook my head, sniffling while tears silently fell down my face. Please don’t ever let me go. I snuggled up closer, closing my eyes. This felt right. Nothing else could make me feel better.
“You okay?” He asked me. I nodded my head, hearing him chuckle above me. I missed both my parents. So, so much. Nothing could describe just how grateful I was that Ryker didn’t shut me out. I’ve never felt better than right now at this very moment. I don’t know what I would have done. Probably continue to starve myself until I eventually died. That was probably my initial plan, but I doubt that now that I’m with Ryker he’d just let me do that. Heck, the first thing he asks me is if I want something to eat, which I involuntarily nodded to. I felt safe when I was around him.
Ryker moved, but never moved me. He just laid down and just let me lay down on him. I smiled to myself, closing my eyes and just letting sleep take over me.
And it felt like the first real sleep I’ve had in ages.

I’m sorry this one took so long, it’s just I wanted to add a whole bunch of wholesome scenes. It was fun and depressing to write this, but everything’s all coming together. Scott x reader - make everything better
could you do just some fluffy cuddles with Scott? Maybe reader (gn or male) has been having a hard time and just needs to hold their boy close to their chest, messing with his hair and running their hands over his skin—tracing random patterns - Anon💜
You hadn’t seen Scott for days, you knew he was busy with whatever was going on in the supernatural world, but you didn’t want any part of it this time so you tried to stay away.
Between school and working, you hardly had time to see him let alone message him.
Pulling up outside his house, you walked up to the door and knocked before waiting patiently.
“(Y/N), how are you I’ve not seen you for a whole.” His mom smiled.
“Hey Mrs McCall, I’m really sorry to drop by. I’ve been good, how’re you?”
“It’s no problem! Scott will be home soon. And I’ve been well, I’ve got to head to work but are you okay to wait upstairs?”
You nodded and waved Malissa off before you made your way upstairs to Scott’s room.
It was a mess, and you couldn’t help but laugh a little as you started to put his things back where they belonged before laying yourself on his bed.
You hadn’t even heard the door open or close, but you heard Scott when he pushed his door open and tossed his bag against the chair in the corner.
“Have you been here long?”
Sitting up a little you shook your head and smiled as you watched him take his jacket and shirt off before walking over.
“No, only like ten minutes I think.”
Scott nodded his head and crawled over to you, letting you rest your head on his chest as you took a deep breath and closed your eyes.
Scott could smell the stress coming from you, so he wrapped his arms tightly around you, kissing the top of your head.
“What’s wrong?” He whispered.
You shrugged a little bit.
“It’s just been a hard couple of days I guess…” you mumbled.
Scott sighed, he moved his hand and placed it under your chin, tilting your head towards his so he could look at you.
“I’m sorry I haven’t been around much…”
Reaching up, you gently touched his cheek before moving your hand up to his hair, gently pulling him down for a kiss.
Scott was more then happy to return it, leaning in further and pulled you into him as much as he could before you both broke away for air.
You smiled softly, and he smiled back, resting his chin on your head as you went back to laying in his chest.
“It’s alright, you know that. You’ve got duties to do.”
“And you should be at the top of that list…” he grumbled.
“Scotty, it’s fine, I know you love me, and I know you wanna protect everyone.”
After a while of Scott just holding you, you finally moved shuffling up so he was resting his head on your chest this time.
He was looking for something to watch on his TV, and you were running your fingers through his hair, eyes closed as you relaxed.
“Are you hungry or anything?” Scott asked.
“Nah, I just wanna stay like this…”
“We’ve got school tomorrow you need to go home at some point.”
“I’ll just steal your clothes.”
“Will I ever get said clothes back?”
Looking down at him, you gave him a little grin as you kissed his nose.
“Not a chance my dear.”
Scott laughed, shaking his head at you as he shuffled around to get comfortable.
He tangled his legs with yours, his head tucked just below your chin while you rested your arms around him.
Scott was quick to fall asleep, you knew he was exhausted and barely getting any sleep over the past few nights.
Running your fingers along his chest, you brought them back up and started to trace random shapes into his skin.
You weren’t really focused on anything, just the feeling of Scott in your arms, all your worries and stress melting away as you held your boyfriend.
Eventually you fell asleep as well, arms wrapped tightly around Scott while he rested his hands over yours.
He woke up before you, but he didn’t move from his bed, he simply sat up, covered your with the quilt and rested your head on his chest.
He ran his fingers through your hair, repeating the motion again and again to comfort you.
Scott just smiled as he looked at you, admiring your sleeping form, the way the sun shone through his window and cast a warm glow on you.
You didn’t smell stressed anymore, and you were more relaxed then you were the night before.
He didn’t have anything to do over the next few nights, so Scott decided in that moment he was going to make up for some much needed missed time, holding you as much as you could and spending every waking moment by your side

Last call for sin
900 words | rated Teen | Buck angst
A 1x01 coda ficlet for @911hiatus's week one prompt, "hunger." Title from All These Things That I've Done by The Killers, which is a perfect song for pilot Buck (in my humble opinion).
He managed the drive home okay—hands tight around the steering wheel, radio on too loud to keep his thoughts at bay, but he made it. He just put his mind on autopilot and drove. But now that he’s safely on his own front porch, fiddling with the keys in his jacket pocket, Buck feels like he can’t breathe. As if there’s a snake wrapped around his ribcage, squeezing.
He inhales sharply through his nose, then exhales more slowly from his mouth, talking himself through it like he’s his own patient. In… and out. There you go. You’re okay. On the far end of the porch, someone left an empty beer can in the potted geranium that’s languishing between two folding chairs. Buck keeps his eyes fixed on it, both to ground himself while he breathes and to have something—anything—to think about besides what happened yesterday.
He almost lost everything.
In… Out… In… Out…
The front door opens, startling Buck into taking a step back.
“Hey, I thought I heard you pull in,” Kyle says through the screen door. He’s wearing flannel pajama bottoms printed with puffy, cartoon Christmas trees and no shirt. “You okay, man?”
“Yeah, fine. Just didn’t get much sleep.” Buck walks over to the geranium, plucks out the beer can, and hands it to Kyle. “You guys, uh, have someone over last night?”
“Not me. Stayed up late watching a couple movies. I don’t have to work until noon.”
Buck follows Kyle inside, careful not to let the screen door slam. “Sorry if I woke you up.”
“You didn’t. Fucking car alarm next door again. I’m gonna let the air out of their tires next time, I swear to fucking God.”
“I did not hear you say that,” Buck grins, then gestures at Kyle’s pajamas. “Look at a calendar, dude. It’s January.”
“Yeah, so? My mom gave me these. They’re comfortable. Yo, I was about to make some eggs. You want some?”
“Nah, I’m good, thanks. Not hungry yet.”
Kyle gives him a thumbs-up and returns to the kitchen, and Buck goes upstairs to his room. The house is quiet at this time of day, at least on weekdays. Weekends are a different matter. Buck usually comes home to find a few friends-of-friends still hanging around for breakfast. Buck doesn’t care, as long as the mess gets cleaned up and no one has crashed in his bed.
God, he’s so damn tired. It’s not that they had a lot of calls last night; he just couldn’t seem to get his brain to switch off. Four straight hours in his bunk without the bell going off, and he wasted them listening to Chimney snore. Buck drops his gym bag on the floor and kicks off his shoes without looking to see where they land. Clothes are peeled off, replaced with sweats. Curtains get pulled closed. Autopilot. On the way to the bed, he catches his reflection in the mirror hanging over the dresser.
And then he can’t breathe again.
This is not a family.
The next time you screw up, it’ll be your last.
You’re done, kid.
In the dim light, Buck sees all the previous versions of himself staring back at him from the mirror, all with the same birthmark and blue eyes, the same nose that’s just a little too long. Twenty-six goddamn years’ worth of them—and it seems he’s no closer to figuring out how not to screw up his own life.
“I fucked up,” Buck whispers. “I fucked up again, Maddie.”
His reflection pleads with him in the mirror, begging for sympathy, but the voice in his head is brisk, sensible. Maddie’s voice.
Okay? What are you going to do about it, Evan?
He hasn’t seen her in years. It’s painful to think of her, still patching up idiots like him in the ER and then going home to her dickhead husband. At least she has one less thing to worry about with her little brother out of her hair. Buck hopes she’s okay. Maybe even happy.
It’s hard to imagine her happy.
It’s been five years since he left Hershey, hungry for something he couldn’t even name. So hungry it hurt. But now he understands what he was seeking as he was crisscrossing the country in her old Jeep: Purpose. Something he could hold up with pride. And people who gave a shit about him. He knows this because yesterday he almost threw all those things away for a couple of meaningless fucks. Jesus.
So. What is he going to do about it? The first step is obvious. Buck sits down on the edge of his bed and begins deleting every dating app off his phone. He’s done. He has to be done.
He makes the mistake of opening the last app. Four messages. Buck scans the profile pictures, his breathing picking up. God, it was an actual nightmare of a shift. That little girl dragged out of her house, bullets—actual fucking bullets—pinging off the fire engine. In two days, Buck’s going to be right back there, facing all kinds of awful shit again, having people’s lives in his hands. And then there’ll be the consequences of his screw-up to face. Bobby’s probably gonna have him scrubbing floors for a month.
Buck lets his thumb hover unsteadily over GirlOnFire94’s picture. The name feels like fate. He clicks.
One last time. He needs this.
His hands don’t stop shaking for a long time.

You really hurt my feelings
It was finally summer which meant all the hughes boys had a break, luke and I were currently driving to his house in canton. When we make it to his house I immediately get out the car while luke goes to the trunk to get our luggage, as I go to knock on the door Ellen opens it “y/n honey how are you” “im doing good I missed you so much Ellen” I say before we hug “nice to see you too mom” Luke says “oh hey Luke” I just giggle in response to what Ellen says “luke honey go take the luggage to your room y/n and I have so much to catch up on, Jim went to pick up Quinn and jack from the airport they should be here any moment now” as ellen and I sit down on the couch to talk about all the recent drama in canton luke comes down from his room and sits beside on the couch “hi baby” I say as he leans his head on my chest “mmm my favorite pillow” I give him a light slap on head “luke not in front of your mom” ellen just laughs “are you two hungry” “no thanks I ate in the car” “nah I’m good mom” right after luke finished his sentence Jim walks in with the two boys trailing behind him. As soon as jack walks through the door he spots me “Y/N” “hi jack” I say as I walk over to him and hug him after my hug with Jack i over I give quinn a hug “hi Quinn” “hey y/n/n how are you” “doing good quinner” Luke quickly hugs all all boys and his dad before he sits back down.
At dinner
“Y/n did you do something with your hair” jack asks me “I did actually I lightened it” “looks good” I blush a little because he was the only one who seemed to notice, not even luke noticed, I looked at luke and he just rolled his eyes i furrow my brows in response.
After dinner
The boys and I decided we would go to the basement and watch a movie, I was the first one on the couch because the 3 boys were up stairs getting ice cream and pop corn. I hear the stairs creek and down walks jack “hey y/n/n” “hi jackey” he sits down beside of me and puts his arm behind the couch which I thought nothing of “so what are we watching” “I don’t know i really can’t decide” “here let me pick” he says as I give him the remote. As he’s choosing which movie to watch Luke walks down the stairs before he does a double take “dude jack why is your arm around my girl” he sounds a little mad “ chill I didn’t mean it like that” jack says as he removes his arm from the back of the couch, luke walks over to the couch but sits on the other end “lulu sit beside me, I wanted to cuddle” “I’m fine right here y/n” y/n he never calls me y/n it’s always babe or baby or even sometimes honey never just y/n “it’s ok y/n/n I’ll cuddle you” Jack says before I let out a giggle “I think I’m good thanks for the offer tho jack” soon enough quinn walks down and looks at me and mouths “why isn’t luke next to you” I just shrug.after the movie is over luke and I walk into his room he gets right into bed as I take a shower after I walk out the bathroom I see Luke in bed on his phone he doesn’t even spare me a glance, weird. As I get into bed I speak up “lulu wanna cuddle” he just ignores me “luke what’s wrong” he ignores me again “seriously luke this is getting annoying” he finally answers “oh you wanna know what’s annoying you flirting with jack, why don’t you just go sleep in his bed, or better yet just go date him” “what are you talking about” “Y/N GET OUT OF MY FUCKING ROOM” he yelled he never yells at me. I slowly get up from his bed and walk out of his room tears spilling from my eyes as I walk into jacks room, I slowly knock on jacks door when he opens it he sees my tears “y/n/n what’s wrong” “I think luke just broke up with me” I say as I cry into his arms. He walks me into his room as I cry jack calls quinn into his room and tells him what happened, as soon as quinn heard what jack told him he walked angrily into Luke’s room. Quinn returns about 5 minutes later to jacks room with Luke in tow I look up at look and he had regret in his eyes he walks to me as jack and Quinn both walk out of the room. “Y/n/n baby I’m sorry I was just jealous I didn’t mean to scream at you or make you cry I promise I’ll never ever break up with you, I love you so much baby I promise” “lulu you really hurt my feelings” I say still crying “I know love and I’m sorry”
This has been sitting in my drafts for so long, also luke is officially a New Jersey devil, it’s bittersweet I’m sad they lost but happy he’s moving on to bigger and better things. Also if you like this plz make sure to follow me, reblog, and heart the post!!!🥰
