i am so sorry i do not have a lighter post ready for christmas as i do not know what couples do during christmas.

however, i do think he would share his absurdly long scarf with you because you said once how cold it is in lumina square. whenever you both end up going to lumina square together, he’d remove his scarf and tie it around you. he won’t admit how cute you look wearing it, paired with your thick coat.

the winter time is also a good excuse to hold hands. even though you’re both wearing gloves, he thinks it feels warmer than usual. your hand in his, the light pink blush on your cheeks and nose due to the cold, is it getting hotter or is it just him? he can’t take his eyes off of you as you bring him to the teamilk store and get some hot drinks. a limited time drink only available around christmas time, overly priced but he’d drink it again if you wanted to. chocolatey, milky, hints of tea, he sees the little bit of cream left on your lip and he doesn’t know whether to laugh or to kiss it off of you.

there are lots of other couples enjoying this merry season, bright lights lining the streets as it gets dark. maybe this cold winter isn’t too bad if he could spend it with you like this all the time.

You two first met at Oxford and he was immediately intrigued. You shocked him when you asked what one of his wristbands meant and he answered with a pleasant smile and you retorted that you had been there before. He smiled and asked for your name which you happily obliged in giving him.

You went to a pub and saw him again and he asked where you were headed and when you answered, he huffed and insisted that you stay with him instead.

He spent the entire night holding you by the small of your back and being very touchy and you were giggly(whether from the alcohol or his intoxicating energy still leaves something to be desired).

Felix walked you back to your dorm where you couldn’t stop thinking about him.

He was spotted by you in the library and he struck up a conversation about where you are from and your hobbies:

“A pretty girl like you must be from somewhere special”-he said

“Oh! No, I’m just from(enter state or city here)”- your ears fell hot and you felt yourself melt into his gaze.

“Ahhhh I think I’ve heard of that place before” even when he hasn’t

“Oh haha yeah. So what about you?” You chuckled, picking up on his white lie.

“Oh my family just owns a house in Saltburn, have you heard of it? It’s kind of small” he said modestly

“No sorry. I don’t know much about the UK besides the Beetles” you laughed

Felix chuckled at this and he found your naivety cute and endearing

He introduced you to most of the things in the UK and over time, you started getting closer

Actual headcanons:

-Spoils you relentlessly and doesn’t understand the concept of not doing so. To him, you’re a princess and you deserve to be treated so.

-His friends don’t like you because you aren’t wealthy(unless you are, slay queen or king) but Felix doesn’t care.

-Asks you if you want to smoke and accepts when you say no

-Has fluffy hair and mewls when you run your hands through it

-Kisses you when you wake up and when you try to push him off of you, he just grabs your hands and kisses them too.

-Makes you look like a ragdoll(and throws you around like one too ;)

-Doesn’t understand the concept of personal space when it comes to you but fully expects you to give him space when he needs it

-Loves to hold your hand and play with your fingers while making comments about how small you are compared to him

-He loves tanning and even though you’re already tan, he will ask you to come and read to you during it

-Reassures you whenever he gets hit on and playfully blows girls off

-If you’re getting flirted with, he will go out of his way to make the other guy feel like a third wheel by kissing you, spinning you, and calling you pet names while nuzzling your nose

-Begs you to go to Saltburn; when you do, his entire family loves you.

-His mom cups your face in her hands and remarks about how pretty you are.

-You two gossip while Felix rolls his eyes and makes comments

-Felix calls your parents and flys out to meet them

-They love him(he took his piercing out so they wouldn’t think he was a freak)

i need yall to undestand how batshit feral this fic made me. im always a little bit obsessed with religious imagery, thats just how things are, but this one just had it everywhere and so seamlessly?? in fact i think i actually went insane about this fic before in a separate post, i cant remember when, i just know that ive read this fic a stupid amount of times and i have specific lines memorised and i think about it all the time

your head whips to the two children who were already clinging by your legs, making you bend down to offer them a bit of a distance for a conversation whilst offering them one of your most beautiful smiles.

"yes, what is it?" you cooed unconsciously as how you would to any other child, their eyes giving you an impression of a feeling that you couldn't really explain inside of your chest.

"nejire-neesan said you're good at telling stories! will you tell us one, please!"

"i want a love story! tell us a love story, (y/n)!" the voices they used were not much far behind from yours, pleading for a responsibility that nejire surely had passed onto you when she had the chance to. glancing over to the sides where the girl merely flashed you a smile and a wave of her hand, you sighed and crouched down.

"well, i haven't got that much but i'll try!" you say and just when you were beginning to feel relieved with the happy faces in the two children's faces, your heart sank when they suddenly made an announcement.

"hey everyone! (y/n) is telling a story!" one of them shouts and all of a sudden, a flock of five year olds are already in front of you, sitting on the floor attentively as you stood in complete shock at how the attention instantly shifts to yours in a matter of seconds.

you turned to look at nejire, tamaki and mirio but they only gave you a grin, silence, and thumbs up respectively, glad that the responsibility was taken off of their shoulders—and now, the stage is all yours.

clearing your throat, you frantically took a sight, slightly fidgeting at the way you were losing any ideas to say in front of the children.

i mean, what could possibly-

your mind echoed of the voice of the child from earlier once you’ve set eyes on the girl, her orbs twinkling in delight and hope of a story that could awaken the romance in her very young heart.

and alas, you now know what you’d tell.

your lips curling up, you began, “does anyone want to hear my love story?”

it was not as if the fact that the pro hero endeavor's son is one of the students in your college is a secret. actually, most already knows who natsuo todoroki is and there will always be flocks of students who gush over him because well, he is cute.

you never really met him face to face. after all, you are always in another building and you just often see him in his social media where your friends often stalk on.

aside from that, you were particularly not that interested in him.

i mean, why do they make a fuss over him anyway? just because he's a pro hero's son doesn't mean he's supposed to get this much attention. plus, does he even want it? because honestly speaking, if you were in his case, you would rather be famous for something that is done by your effort not because of your parents'.

your hand raised to the doorknob of the classroom and your ears were filled by the muffled noises inside, your new classmates surely having a time of their own despite this day being the first day of classes in the university for the whole school year.

turning the knob, you swung the door open and instead of seeing the space of the entrance your way was blocked by a figure you certainly have not seen before.

“excuse-“

“hey there!”

it was the way his voice spiked up that made you look, eyes meeting his own. and that’s the moment you realized that you were standing in front of natsuo todoroki

the natsuo todoroki.

“good morning, it’s nice to meet you!” he smiles boyishly, as if trying to impress you with that slight perk of a corner of his lip than the other side. from where you were standing on, you could certainly feel the charisma oozing out of his presence alone.

“hey,” you say, rather unenthusiastically. “yeah, nice to meet you too.”

basing on his reaction and his history, you could easily tell that he was not used to your response. passing by him, you ignored the way some of your classmates saw the scene, especially the ones who were near the door. but nonetheless, it was not as if it was such big of a deal.

was it?

shrugging the thought off, the memory slowly drifts off of your mind as soon as the day passed by. but unlike you, it was not the same for natsuo todoroki.

“but how did you know?” one of the children’s little voice beam, catching you and thre others’ attention just as soon as the question was raised.

you were about the answer, but before you could, another voice overpowers your own.

“because i told it to them.”

the children’s heads perk up at the new, yet familiar voice, whipping their attention to the person at by the doorframe, his tall figure and presence unable to be mistaken by anyone, including the little kids.

“natsuo!”

“hey guys it’s natsuo!”

“todoroki-san!”

a gentle smile and look smooths is way unconsciously towards your face as you watched how the toddlers interacted with the newly-arrived man, who apparently was one of the main characters in your rather short story. but as your eyes made contact with his, it was like your heart leaped in joy, much different from how you’ve met before.

certainly, there was a change in how you treated him over the years, especially when you realized you were starting to have feelings for the said man. but like others say, it didn’t matter how it all started.

it was how you end it. and for now, you want it to end like this; happy, contented—with him.

Okiedok here’s the delio. I have a list of all the blogs from the last six months who’s actively either responded to a meme i sent, responded to a message ive sent, replied to something regarding mally herself, has actually written with me, written a starter for me from my liking a starter call, has at least liked a starter i wrote for them to awknowedge it exists, all that jazz, i have a lot of open field so it’s not just a possible tumblr didnt let them no option anymore, because i send memes to everyone who posts them that i see. I reply to most peoples ooc posts. I like most starter calls I pass by. I try my darndest to actually interact bc i know how it feels to be ignored and its… i’ve been called one before so i’m using the word, thats fluffing cunty behavior, and honestly if you complain about not being interacted with but never even try when i try with you, ya being cunty, end of. I gotta list. That list only entails Mally because she’s who I care about the most. I’m probably gonna start instilling a new rule in all my blogs that if you ignore Mally and/or Darcy( @tasedandconfused ), since I would say they’re my two main blogs tho darcy gets ignored even more than mally does, probably bc i denied canon and left it entirely we know fandom hates that, if either of them is ignored then… Ya out of luck, I’m gonna unfollow you. I’m debating soft blocking everyone who ignored me on both of them but I don’t want to like be mean and deny the chance to eventually try again but at the same time i shouldnt feel bad for taking a stand and saying this is bullsheet, idk my anxiety says im awful for giving a fluff about myself but also i should give a fluff about myself probably, ive nearly died in the last three months, my brain almost exploded, i just had three root canals on one corner of my face, i have to potentially get surgery on my inner ear which i cant even afford, i dont got time to deal with only being used for like smut memes or like as a resource blog or utter bs like that, i dont got time for it. If I don’t get any response within.. I’m giving one week for people who don’t run on a queue and a month and a half to people on a queue based system, if i dont get anything within that time like at least an im being like ‘its posted’ or ‘its queued i wanted to let you know in case tumblrs a fluffbutt’ (i do this sometimes if i dont get even just a like on the starters i post so i at least know people saw it since i know tumblrs bs, i wait until the day they’re active to do so in case theyre busy yknow) basically i need acknowledgment at all. No you can’t claim this is abt follower count bc when you unfollow someone they inevitably unfollow you too, thats gonna drop my following, not as quickly as soft blocking would but i wanna be fair i guess, which leads to: 3: I’m basing this on your activity too, like if i like a think and you’re gone for a month after that its fine, im not gonna unfollow you unless you never come back or youre online and posting others just not mine because that tells me youre specifically ignoring me and im gonna drop you for that end of. I’m thorough basically. 4: You dont have to be active with me on all your blogs, i mean i’d prefer it but thats hard as fluff so essentially if you have like five blogs and are just like trying w me on two or three thats fine. Ten blogs, four or five with at least a plot formed is cool. Multis just one muse is all I’d need. I’m not gonna unfollow the blogs youre not writing w me on if you at least write w me on some. Again, specifically Mally and/or Darcy. If you ignore both of them, we’re done. I havent been active on darcy because of being ignored and its a huge butt mess and im just tired i wanna use my babies, you don’t get to have my ‘better’ muses like i know a lot of ppl only follow me for my boys or my villains, you don’t get them if you ignore my baby. But, there is a limit there too. 5: If you never respond to a meme or thread even once with Mally or Darcy, or post a starter, i reply, its never replied to again after a month, I’m unfollowing and/or soft blocking for that too. Bc that means youre just raising my hopes to fluff with me or get someone else and honestly, youre even more cunty than than the people just flat out ignoring me if you do that. And this isnt a specific person, this is five of the people actually on my list. Yes, my list is also annotated with specifics again I was very thorough on this yesterday, I hyperfixated I’ll admit it, I’m in a fluffing depressionary bubble and being told to get over it because people want something they dont deserve to have to. I am a believer that people deserve good things but if youre purposefully being cunty… no you dont. 6: No I’m not releasing my list, maybe I will and I’ll omit the urls because I don’t want people being buttholes to each other too but otherwise, yall not seeing it im not giving a callout because… really thats just unnecessary here. I have plants outside my work place and im surrounded by chemicals all day long I’m welted from here to new york constantly and never comfortable in my own skin because of it and constantly see people online acting like these actual real problems are pretentious because ‘its an excuse’ when, im a fluffing sagittarius, do you know how much i want to magically be a millionaire so i can pay for friends and my own medical stuff and go on traveling and adventures, be outside probably not camping bc as a pagan i know thats a death sentence but like be outside, lay on grass, go back to swimming because i used to swim competitively and due to health reasons i can barely even go in a pool anymore because theres too much sunlight which, bit plot twist i know, im fluffing allergic to vitamin D and the rays of the sun, so go figure, attempts to be healthy kill me more, i also cant eat most plants and am constantly dying from just eating food, they dont know whats wrong with me. i cant fix it by going ve/gan for a month inf act i tried and it almost made my heart stop thanks society. These arent excuses these are the lives of disabled and diseased and to a lesser but still very real point, ethnic lives every fluffing day. This is real shit and its murder and online and gaming? It may be all I have soon since I can’t just go out and make new friends cause, again, I’d fluffing die. I get sick going to the mall or the movie theater, I miss theme parks so much but have to minimize it to weeks i dont have work so i dont get fired for having a welt while working in the beauty industry. I may have to get a degree online and change my field entirely because of my illness that nobody understands. People even make fun of it constantly online and I wish I could just drop online entirely because of how unbelievably ableist the entirety of the world is, i wish i could drop humans in general for their ableism, but i cant. I don’t have choices in most cases, but throwing away people who maybe purposefully maybe unintentionally thats why i’m giving you this warning and will be repeating this warning for awhile, this is where i have choice. I have to use what little choice I have in life while I can since everytime i go to movies or a concert or a theme park i almost die because of not having an immune system that functions or being in certain air qualities pr being near plants or unclean people, I may not have much time and I gotta do whats best for what little mental health I have, and if that means dropping people i care about and really want to write with and do things with but who ignore me then, i guess so be it.

Welcome, new mods!

This week we’re welcoming five new mods to help deal with the workload of thestuckylibrary! In a new move, us librarians are telling you, the readers a bit about ourselves. Get to know your mods a little better!

Mod Karin

I’m a biro ace from Canada. I use she/her pronouns. Melancholic, a dog person, asthmatic. I’m an Art History student in my early 20s. I’m definitely an Academic™, I love research, medieval art, early renaissance art, most 1850-1945 art, talking at length about things that interest me and,Scifi and fantasy, historical fiction and writing about things. I have Beef with Greenburg.

I started shipping stucky in like mid 2013 after I binged all marvel movies in a single night after being dragged to see Iron Man 3. At that point I wasn’t into the tumblr side of mcu fandom and just read the few fics there were on AO3. However, that all changed after I saw TWS. Full tilt mcu tumblr multishipping since April that year and I haven’t looked back. I joined the library June 2015 and have been modding ever since, albeit with a bit of a break summer 2016. It made sense as a move to me- I love fanfiction, tend to mostly read stucky fic, love organization and giving recs and have experience with the idea having worked in libraries for many years.

I’m also a traditional artist. I usually work in pencil, pastels or charcoal but I occasionally work in acrylic, oil, ceramics and ink. I make fanart, you can check it out on my fandom blog @samthebirdbae! My specialty is Bucky’s glorious long hair.

what’s up i don’t know how to use the cool drop down description kinda formatting bc i suck at tumblr also i hate using caps for anything. I’m a bi 18 (almost 19) year old from texas. she/her pronouns. I’m a figure skater and dancer. basically the best description for me is just child of preserum steve and natasha, as im actually very russian but im like 5'1 and have a list of health problems as long as my arm. you may or may not know me as that one black widow cosplayer who met sebastian last year and asked him to choke her. kinda problematic, i know, but also highkey awesome even though i definitely would not repeat. I’m currently not in school although I’m debating between possibly going into massage therapy or cosmetology. I was homeschooled and I grew up in like The Most Conservative christian home so i wasn’t allowed to listen to music or read books or watch any movies unless they were pre approved by my mom, and she was picky with even the stuff from the christian book store sooooo,,,, i didn’t really get into marvel or music or ANYTHING until i was about sixteen and i was finally allowed to use the internet and have a phone but after i finally watched the cap movies about a year and a half to two years ago I immediately fell in love and started shipping stevebucky. as I am a history NUT ofc my fav era is 40s pre/mid war. it’ll definitely show in my recs. I do write as well but i switch back and forth between stevebucky and harry styles fics and rn i don’t have nearly enough time to do either one between work and sports. (I am out rn over a knee injury that might end up requiring surgery so idk. maybe I’ll get The Time.)

Hello, I’m a librarian from Belgium and the best part about my job is helping people to find what they’re looking for or to answer any question they might have to make their day a little easier. That goes from helping them find books and articles to helping them figure out where their class room is or how they’re supposed to make copies and prints. I’m delighted that I get to do a little more of the same here at the Stucky Library.

hey friends~ my name is dee, i’m 21, and i’m from new zealand. (she/her.) i’m a history and mythology nerd and know a little too much about booby traps used in the vietnam war? oops. (i promise it’s from fic related research.) i have three cats and four dogs and a niece and they’re all like. the lights of my life tbh. i’m not currently studying, though i’m toying with the idea, now that i’ve found somewhere that actually offers creative writing as a full degree.

i started shipping stucky quite recently, like, probably early-2016, after i abruptly left my main fandom, and saw CA:TWS for the first time. it was like my eyes had been opened, and it was pretty magical tbh. i’ve been into marvel for a lot longer than that (since like 2012, i think) and ngl, my first love was tony stark. (do yall get leavers’ hoodies when you finish high school? we did. i got “stark” printed on mine in place of my own name. little did i know, that was only the beginning of my ventures in marvel fandom.)

within fandom, i’m a fic writer, and pretty much everything i write is au. (which u can find on my personal @jjjakesully if u so desire lmao) about 90% of what i read within fandom is au as well, because i like the idea of “no matter our circumstances, i’d still find and love you in each and every lifetime” and wow that sounds gooey but you get the point. this isn’t the first rec blog i’ve worked on, so like i have seen things and little of what you ask is going to shock me lmao.

hi, guys! i’m julia (she/her), 24, english teacher from brazil. always tired, always anxious, always crying about stevebucky. i have a deep love for books and tiny fluffy animals.

i read my very first ever stucky fic the night after i saw catws at the theater. in an ~unforeseen turn of events, it totally took over my life. it was love at first ‘mistaken identity��� story, and i haven’t looked back since.

i’m also a fic writer! i’ve been writing for this pairing since 2015, and you can find all of that on my tumblr @hawkguyz. i’m particularly fond of AUs and tooth-rotting fluff. :D
