This is such a good question! I think they are a little bit soft, soft enough to squish against Deuce’s chest and for Deuce to press his fingers against it, but it’s still pretty muscle-y. So mostly tough, but with a little bit of squish! Perfect for those who don’t like sleeping on softer pillows.

Awwww, Jack protecting Deuce’s head sounds cute…! But I think he just wanted to play with his soft hair… he probably doesn’t even realise what his hands are doing, he is too focused on drooling all over his mouth.

I started typing and it got out of control...

I don't know if you've watched Ever After High or not, but I've been re-watching the entire show on account of not having much to do and I've come to the conclusion that an LU crossover with EAH would be absolutely awesome. The general idea is that characters from fairytales grow up and have kids that re-enact their parents' stories and this happens over and over again to the point that their entire society is built around this. Since they have a magic book that kind of seals your fate if you sign it, this is where the conflict of the show comes from.

Obviously there are a few different ways a person could go about setting this up but I'm just going to pick out fairy tale parents and backstories for them because I think that's the most fun.

Warriors: I'm thinking that he'd be best as Helen of Troy. Greek mythology is canon in EAH because of Cupid, so it works. The same themes of lust and infatuation are present. Also war.

Wild: He fits Sleeping Beauty's story the most, but that's already taken so the next best thing is Rip Van Winkle. It's only 20 years compared to 100, but I think it's the closest I'm getting for now, and the point is that he wakes up as an old man.

Sky: I think he should be the guy from the jabberwocky poem that uses the vorpal sword to defeat it. The jabberwocky is supposed to be the most powerful monster in EAH last I checked, so it would be the closest equivalent to Demise other than the Evil Queen.

Legend: Given that wizards are supposed to live a long time, Merlin would be a good fit for Legend because he'd have a few centuries to finish growing up into a mature wizard. He could still be a veteran of adventures this way without sacrificing his magical abilities.

Twilight: Unfortunately there aren't really any stories about wolves that aren't villains so he's tragically stuck being a non-descript farmer. I'm so sorry. Under other circumstances he'd get to be one the guy from "East of the Sun and West of the Moon" except that guy is a bear and not a wolf.

Wind: I'm torn between picking an infamous pirate or a story from mythology. Either one would probably work, to be honest, but it would probably work better if Tetra was a pirate's daughter and he's related to a deity in charge of ocean storms.

Hyrule: Ended up picking Jack the Giant Killer for him because that story's about surviving because you're clever, and Hyrule's games are supposed to be ridiculously hard. Also there's a magic sword involved.

Four: With the Minish he could totally fit into the story about the little elves that help the tailor/cobbler. But there's a story called "The Four Skillful Brothers" and I can't say no because it literally ends with them rescuing the princess via teamwork and splitting the reward.

Time: I feel like he'd fit in best as some kind of forest spirit or changeling, but as the Hero's Shade he could also be Godfather Death. I've been thinking about it and I really can't come up with a good placement for him.

Spirit Tracks Link gets an honorary mention because he is canon in my heart. Since New Hyrule is in the middle of the industrial revolution he's probably more of an urban legend. Either the ghost of a train conductor's kid or a guy cursed to see ghosts like his Zelda.

What's the origin of your blog title? It’s really quite simple, I’m a girl and I have a large skull tattooed on my left upper arm. As well as a couple of other skulls and a skeleton torso.

OTP(s) + Shipname: Finan x Revna OFC, and Finan X Uhtred …. But I also write a lot of Uhtred x Sihtric Haven’t really thought of shipnames, maybe Finna, Uhtric, Finred…. Haha  

Favorite color: Hands down, purple. Preferably darker shades of purple. Love purple so much that I have a purple car. Plum Crazy Purple…oh and I love black, as evidenced by the color of my wardrobe.

Favorite game: Don’t laugh, but I loved Farmville when it was a thing. That is until my farm got repossessed for hacking the game. More recently I’ve been obsessed with Disney Dreamlight Valley, again, don’t laugh. The level of excitement I felt when they added Jack Skellington…ahh. I also enjoyed Hogwarts Legacy, The Last of Us and Days Gone.

Weirdest habit/trait? Uh, does driving around with a skeleton in my car count? I’m just generally weird, and I don’t really care what anyone else thinks. Maybe my need for routines and being particular about how certain things are done is my weird habit/trait.

Hobbies: Writing, reading, painting and drawing, some crafts. Was obsessed with cross stitch for a little while and dabbled in diamond art for a bit. I just like making or repurposing things. Oh and I love riding UTVs or ATVs up in the mountains.

If you work, what's your profession? I am a Customer Service Rep for a group of banks in the west. Not a big fan of it. I hate talking on the phone, especially to random strangers, and I take a job where that’s all I do all day. But it pays pretty decent and I get to work from home so that is cool.

If you could have any job you wish, what would it be? I would love to be an author and just write all the time. Only problem with that is I mainly write fan fiction, but who knows maybe one of these days I’ll create my own world/characters. Also wouldn’t mind doing art. Thought about blogging, actually tried it, but kind of felt it’s already so overdone.

Something you're good at: Avoiding drama…oh wait maybe not. Uh…learning new skills. I’d like to think I’m good at writing, but I’m still learning. Plants die in my care, so maybe not that. Cooking…I’m good at cooking.

Something you collect: Main thing - Skulls and skeletons. My house is tastefully decorated year round for Halloween….I just add more when the holiday comes around. I call it cottage core goth/or farmhouse goth. Haha. I collect an excessive amount of craft supplies that I may or may not ever use.

What were you like as a child? I was quiet and shy, until I got to know someone. Tended to keep to myself. Didn’t have a good home life, so I only had a few friends I trusted. I was also funny…I mean I still kind of am, along with being sarcastic and a smart ass.

Favourite subject at school? Art, history, and English

Least favourite subject: Anything involving math. Wasn’t great with the sciences either.

What's your worst character trait? I can be very stubborn, and I hold a grudge like nobody’s business. My don’t give a fuck attitude, and sarcasm… lots of sarcasm. 

If you could change any detail of your life right now, what would it be? Honestly, to not have to work, so I could spend more time doing the things I love….but it is what it is. 

If you could travel in time, who would you like to meet? This might be completely in left field, but Billy the Kid. I was a little obsessed with him when I was younger, and I love the old west. Quite frankly I love any period in the way back past… Vikings, Old English, cowboys and Native Americans. I always felt like I was born in the wrong time, or maybe it’s just me remembering past lives….hmm.

LGBT+ headcanon(s): I think Alex is bi & he realizes that over his obsession with Yassen

Job headcanon (in an AU/or future): I like to think that at one point Alex and Yassen run away together to some place warm and sunny, and Alex will own a surf shop or be a surf instructor

Favorite canon thing about them: His very healthy obsession with Yassen 😂 He's so drawn to him, that ship really sales itself. But I also like how clever and capable he is. Of course he gets lucky too, but he also is really clever and resourceful.

Least favorite canon thing about them: I don't like how cold he is, especially in the books, towards killing people. He doesn't seem bothered at all by all the collateral damage he causes (yes they are always bad guys, but you would think that he struggles a bit with that nevertheless). Even Yassen is shown to have more difficulties with that in his early years.

Genderfluid! Evangeline uses all pronouns and doesn’t really care which ones you use to refer to her - hell switch it up in the same sentence he won’t bat an eye. They’ve also had top surgery!

They’re head of graphics at an indie video game company! A little office job that she absolutely ADORES. The company mainly focuses on romance oriented visual novels. Yes I have made the rest of the company too. I love them.

Being the head of graphics, Evangeline has a totally different work mode compared to his usual personality. At work he’s much more focused, strict, and even a little scary. Outside of work he’s cheerful and bubbly.

Club kid! They’re obsessed with 70s/80s disco fashion, incorporating it into their daily life wherever possible. They loooove going on nights out to the club. They often persuade David to tag along, not because he enjoys it, particularly, but because it means she gets scary dog privilege.

Old friends with baaabe! They’ve been close since before meeting their respective mates, and roomed together in college.

Was in a rock band in college! Baaabe was in the same band. Evangeline refuses to talk about it to the point where David doesn’t even know about it. They looked like this. College was also where he picked up the name Evangeline - it was just a stage name at the time, but he ended up growing attached.

Evangeline also met Michael in college. Their relationship was a constant hot and cold, on and off arrangement that never seemed to last. They never stayed split for more than a week, though. This arrangement lasted about 4 years before they finally split up for good. It was a very messy breakup.

Started leaning REALLY hard into the angel aesthetic after meeting David. She has no idea if his doting nickname was just a shortened version of her name or an actual nickname, but it did something to her. They have a pair of angel wing shaped earrings they wear absolutely EVERYWHERE, as well as an angel wings tattoo on their back. They’re dedicated to the bit.

Not actually as much of a flirt as they’re made out to be! When they met David, they were totally panicking. I would too if a jacked stranger way taller than me asked why I was stalking him! Their flirts that day were entirely improvised on the spot through panic.

That being said, they use the meeting story to their advantage. Full on dramatises it. “He asked why I was stalking him, but can you believe he was stalking me instead??” Type beat.

I have some questions about the wolf forms and lore stuffs.

Firstly, do they have human thoughts or is their primal wolf voice that takes over? If so, is Minhos affected because he doesn’t communicate and understand his the best?

second, which wolves think they are lap dogs to the humans? Like if someone is on the floor, the known signal for open cuddles, which prefer to just proceed to cover the human in their body? Besides partners, to me the Virgo line seems the most likely beyond typical cuddle gremlins

third, does it hurt them anymore to shift. I’m sure the first change probably def did. Also pups, can they shift pretty fluidly and without knowing since they really are primal simple beings?

fourth, speaking of pups. Is Chris’ pack would it be very much a “it takes a village to raise a pup”? Like obvi they give parents all the time and privacy they want, but in the end those are the pack’s babies y’a know. Everyone is an aunt, everyone is an uncle, the pack happily leap at the change to help out parents and watch their nieces and nephews or do chores/distract baby while parents do chores.

lastly and the most unserious, if GingerBin have pups…. What if they were born on or around Halloween? Cause like with the mix of fur patterns I could see the pack calling them “their little pumpkins” or “our little jack o lanterns”

i'll answer under the cut since they got a bit long.

they still have their human thoughts while in wolf form. their inner human voice is almost always at the forefront of their mind, which is why they still behave pretty coherently and logically while in wolf form. this could change if the werewolf spent a long time as a lone wolf (think Felix before he met Hyunjin... he was pretty feral).

i'd say virgo line minus seungmin. binchan can get pretty cuddly, too. they're both very physically affectionate. are they both absolutely huge and could potentially crush the person they're trying to lay on? yes. will they still try to lay on them? also yes.

i think shifting hurts them for as long as they have growing pains... and, besides that first shifting, it's not like it'd hurt hurt, more like it'd be... idk, painful but bearable, until eventually it becomes nothing more than mild discomfort by the age our wolves are now i don't think it hurts anymore (unless they're sick or smth). and yes, pups can shift that way. so they have to be very well trained before they are sent out to human school because of it 😭

yes, totally. especially for the first pup of the pack. everyone will get less over-protective as more pups come into the pack, but they'll still be very involved.

3. a character that fandom has helped you appreciate

Hm, I think Yu Ziyuan gained much more depth for me through reading meta about her/the family dynamics and genre conventions behind it. She’s a divisive character for sure, but I never saw her as extremely negative as some other fans seem to have. She always seemed like a commentary on the tiger mom stereotype to me, and I couldn’t help but also at times think she’s kinda justified in her bitchiness? Because Jiang Fengmian is like that… But yeah, her character definitely became more interesting and tragic to me through fandom.

None of the others needed any help, I think, I could appreciate all of them for what they brought to the story (I mean, except for Jin Guangshan, no-one appreciate shim and he can go die in a ditch).

4. say something nice about a ship you don't ship (it can be another ship in your fandom, a mutual's OTP, etc)

Sparrabeth. I very much refused to engage with this ship back in my PotC days because the shipping wars between Willabeth and Sparrabeth shippers became incredibly obnoxious after the second movie. As I really enjoyed Willabeth and was more of a Jack/Anamaria shipper (if we have to pair him with anyone… that was before I discovered slash XD), I did not like Sparrabeth at all.

I can see the appeal, though! Elizabeth became ever more of a pirate as the movies progressed, showing a side of herself that had mostly been suppressed in her previous sheltered, prim and proper life. She obviously had a taste for adventure and overall seemed actually more suited for and interested in this kind of life than Will, who gets rather reluctantly dragged into it all again and again. To have her as a counterpoint to Jack, as someone who can hold her own against his scheming and word games and teasing, can be intriguing. They’ll banter, he can teach her all kinds of stuff about life on the high seas, and they’ll definitely be a force to be reckoned with.

19. your current fandom(s)

Since 2020, it’s The Untamed/MDZS – still going strong, with no sign of slowing down. I tend to fixate on one main fandom for quite a while and it really takes a lot to make me switch to something else. And still, the old ones never really leave me – I recently reread some Teen Wolf fic, last year had a bit of a Sherlock revival with selected rereads. Now and then, I revisit some old PotC favs etc.

But yeah, now it’s CQL/MDZS with a side of some other cdramas/thai dramas like KinnPorsche or Word of Honor. It feels like the fandom is slowing down a bit as people move on to other dramas, but I’m still very much in love with it.

20. your very first fandom!

That depends a bit on how you’d define this. The first thing I was totally obsessed with was The Animals of Farthing Wood, a truly great animated tv series based on Colin Dann’s book(s). I drew so many fox pictures for that series, had a whole bunch of OC foxes and invented new stories with them (yes, only the foxes! XD). Of course, I was somewhere between 7 – 10 years old at the time and had no idea what “fandom” was!

I think I became aware of fandom as we know it when I looked for content for LotR online. I discovered message boards that were full of fans of the book and recently released movies.

The first fandom I was actually in, with the full awareness of it being a fandom, was Pirates of the Caribbean. That trilogy was incredibly important to me for many years and I’ve met a few friends through it that I’m still in contact with to this day. <3

a moderate cuddle buddy. he could defiantly get better, but it's not like he's horrible at it.

he will tease you before you nod off. you're slipping off into dreamland and he'll tickle you or pinch you just enough to make you wake up and question your surroundings.

he also sleep talks, punches, kicks, and full on fights in his sleep. you had just been sleeping and he kicked you in the stomach, you were about to mouth him off until you realized he's still sleeping. he's also a blanket hog and will cling onto you tightly.

although theres a lot a bad traits about ace's sleeping habits, he can also be really sweet. ace can let you sleep on him or vice versa and can work really well as a pillow.

his favorite position is him laying on you because it's comfier for him. he likes being spoilt by you. run your hands through his hair, kiss his forehead. he likes it because it reminds him you're there. you might actually leave one day and he doesn't want that. and the position is good for you because he can't really fight you or steal the covers this way.

deuce is actually a pretty good cuddle buddy once he stops being as stiff as a stick. he is very flustered to be close to you. if you do happen to lay on his chest, be prepared to hear rapid heart beats.

he likes to have a nice held to hold ratio. he likes to be held and to hold you. he likes you holding him because it's reassuring to him that even though he hasn't done the best, he still deserves affection. plus, he's a mama's boy, so he loves affection!

he likes holding you because he likes to know that you're there because one day crowley might become responsible and actually send you home. or maybe the things crowley puts you through now might actually become way way to much and you get hurt or die!

deuce likes to hear your heartbeat, the rhythmic thumps are addictive to him. he doesn't have a favorite position, but he likes ones where he can hold your hands and hear your heartbeats.

jack howl: savanaclaw first year

jack is a very good cuddle buddy! he has two forms which he can cuddle in and both are good.

his wolf form however is big fluffy but he doesn't like it because he becomes a giant pillow for you. it's comfortable for both of you but you're always rested on his side, stomach, or back. if he's in this form while you cuddle, he prefers you on his stomach because his tail can't wag if he's like that. he also dislikes cuddling in wolf form because he can't really hold you.

jack in his human form is a big boy, just like in his wolf form, and he's still a pillow regardless. if you're laying on his chest, his heartbeat does not beat fast. he may be very flustered but he has really good control over that 'cause he's a runner.

if it's the off chance he's laying on you, play with his ears. he doesn't usually lay on you or to your side but if he does he doesn't really like it because you play with his ears. playing with ears = wagging tail. he can't have you knowing he's super happy!

jack likes to hold you in some form. he likes to know that you're there and he's somewhat possessive. you practically appeared in the twisted wonderland out of thin air, who says you just won't disappear the same? his favorite position is you laying on his chest with his arms wrapped around you.

epel is a really good cuddle buddy. he's small and soft.

he likes holding you because he considers it manly. he also likes the feeling of you relying on him. when he's holding you, he feels stronger, more than just a pretty face.

on the off chance you're holding him, he likes to lay on your thighs or stomach. he likes holding your waist while you play with his hair. please play with his hair. it's very soft and its well taken care of. you won't regret it!

epel, like the other boys, does have a slight fear of you leaving. but when you're sleeping, you can just let go of those worry and focus on your cute boyfriend!
