OKAY WAIT IDEA FOR OGRON

In the winx comics there’s a meteor on Magix(? Don’t know the details too well, I haven’t gotten to that part yet) that crashed down there one day and then nullified magic in that area. It’s a huge plot point because it can be harvested and many people have tried to.

Now, the idea I have is that Ogron has some of this rock. Maybe it’s from one that crashed on Earth, but he nonetheless has it and can use it to nullify any attacks against him (instead of the absorption). Because it nullifies all magic though, it creates a flaw for him where he himself can’t do magic. He makes up for it by using actual weapons. It doesn’t mean he’s a bad wizards tho and he can have a cool fight where he loses the rock, meaning he can now be hit by magic, but he himself can now use it.
