hi it's the middle of watt week so i thought i would throw out some of my very random watt hcs
first of all as a horse girl myself i am very protective over horse girl annleigh
horses are a very very hard sport to leave, especially when you do it so intensely for so long like she did, so i like to think that while she stopped competing for cheerleading when she started high school, she still has her horse
he's a fancy-ass imported gelding from somewhere in europe who probably cost more than her gchs tuition and who is the light of her life
the only time she let herself cry right after farrah and clark died, before she'd accepted their deaths in act 2, was when she was with him
wherever she goes to college, he comes with her and she rides 3-4 times a week
also clark tried so hard to be horsey for annleigh's sake but he just couldn't do it
her horse was almost 17 hands high and he scared the shit out of clark
one time annleigh fell off in front of clark, and it was a total accident, some massive truck came by with flags flying from the bag and laid on the horn bc he was an asshole and spooked annleigh's horse and she ended up in the dirt
she was fine but clark broke down crying afterwards
maybe she goes back to doing dressage in college and joins her school's ihsa team
also i still think kate went back to gymnastics after finale and continued in college
i'm not gonna lie, i've been thinking lately that if chess was olympics level and she and kate did gymnastics together, maybe kate was also almost olympics level but maybe just barely didn't make the cut, but chess did
so it's kind of a new little hc that a couple years in the future, kate does go to the olympics
she wins bronze
the whole squad throws a party for her when she comes back home
it's so emotional and makes her think about chess a lot but it's bittersweet
(i know it's a dumb hc but i'm growing attached to it)
speaking of the finale squad, i think they stay in contact after they all graduate
with the obvious exception of kate and eva (who end up married ofc), they're never super super close
but they talk fairly regularly, and they're invited to major events and celebrations
they went through a major trauma together and that's a connection they'll always have
i think reese would go into some sort of performing arts
whether she's a dancer, an actress, or something else idk
also i know i just said i don't think the team was very close after canon
but i also imagine her, kate, and eva all going to college in new york city
so maybe for a couple years, they shared an apartment
but then eva proposed to kate and reese was starting to think she wanted to move in with her girlfriend so they stopped living together but ofc stayed friends

Riley from WATT?
I am actually so excited that someone responded to this with a WATT character (if any more WATT fans see this, PLEASE FEEL FREE TO ASK ME MY OPINION OF OTHER WATT CHARACTERS BECAUSE IT HAS TAKEN OVER MY BRAIN SO HARD)
Sexuality Headcanon: Asexual lesbian
Gender Headcanon: Cis girl
A ship I have with said character: CHEERWIVES. I know they were toxic in canon, but I like to believe that they used to have a healthy and genuine relationship/friendship and they were perfect for each other before Riley’s anxiety and perfectionism and obsession with cheerleading ruined everything. Also I could write an essay about them.
A BROTP I have with said character: I feel like in an AU where she never killed anyone and was actually a good person, she and Mattie would have the sweetest friendship. I feel like Mattie would look up to Riley and take inspiration from her.
A NOTP I have with said character: Her and Eva. I fully believe Riley had a crush on Eva, but I don’t ship them. Because one, Kateva. Two, Cheerwives. Three, she murdered people and Eva deserves better than that. And four, I feel like she just liked the idea of Eva because of how successful and ambitious she was.
A random headcanon: She refuses to listen to All Too Well by Taylor Swift because she views it as “Jake Gylenhaal slander” and she “will not stand for it”.
General Opinion over said character: It’s complicated. I want to love her. And when I first watched WATT, I did love her. But she got on my nerves in Act Two because of the whole Phoenix thing (great song, but you can’t just ignore the fact that people were murdered and you framed the wrong girl), and then she confessed to being the murderer, and then she stabbed Kate. So yeah, between that and the way she treats Cairo, I can’t love her. However, she is SUPER fun and interesting to write about and make fan content about because of how multilayered and well-written she is. TL,DR: I hate her but also no I don’t.

Ok. So I’m gonna elaborate a bit more on my Heathers WATT AU that I posted because I didn’t explain it much in the post and some of my choices are a bit unconventional and kinda stupid.
Cairo as Chandler: This ones pretty obvious. They have the same mythic bitch energy, and Cairo has that same swagger (am I describing this right??) that Chandler does.
Kate as Duke: I’m probably going to change it, I just don’t know who I would change it to.
Annleigh as Duke: OKOKOK I HAVE CHANGED IT (im writing this out as I think of stuff). So we know Annleigh is jealous of Cairo with the whole co-captain thing. The two’s dynamic overall works well as Duke and Chandler.
Farrah as McNamara: Zoe Jensen just seems like she could kill the role of Heather McNamara. They have the same kind of vibes.
Chess as Stoner Girl: I couldn’t resist man
Riley as J.D. is pretty self-explanatory.
Eva as Veronica: Kate was definitely the first character to come to mind when thinking of this AU. She just works so well as Veronica. However, I decided to go with Eva because of the dynamic Riley and Eva have. Riley’s almost obsession with Eva carries really well over into Heathers. Eva is undoubtedly the unconventional choice, but hopefully it works well.

X-Men Abridged: 1981
The X-Men, those back-to-the-future mutants that have sworn to protect a world that hates and fears them, are a cultural juggernaut with a long, tangled history. Want to unravel this tapestry? Then read the Abridged X-Men!
(Uncanny X-Men 141 - 152) - by Chris Claremont and John Byrne, Brent Anderson, Dave Cockrum, Jim Sherman, Bob McLeod and Josef Rubinstein
Tumblr media
While I also committed various fashion atrocities at the age of 14 (tye-die and fauxhawks, oh my), even Liberace would find Kitty’s outfits too much. (Uncanny X-Men 149; Uncanny X-Men Annual ‘81)
We dial back from the v. epic scope of the last few arcs. Instead, 1981 is just a lot of fun! We get:
Storm and Emma doing a Freaky Friday!
the X-Men vs. Magneto (again!)
A surprisingly effective Alien rip-off
An dystopian future! (OoOoOoOo)
Last year was the year of the Dark Phoenix, this is the year of Kitty Pryde. That’s not to say Jean’s death is swept under the rug: all throughout, we see her friends mourning her loss or remembering her fondly. (Scott even gets to have a demonic adventure about it.) But in general, Claremont puts Kitty in the forefront, fleshing out his YA-addition to the team. And what would a YA heroine be without a grim dystopia? Roll out the iconic Days of Future Past!
Tumblr media
To be fair, 2013 was a dark time for all of us: What Does the Fox Say somehow got to the top of the charts and I was still watching Glee. (Uncanny X-Men 141)
How cool would it have been to see a name like Jonothon Starsmore or Eva Bell on those tombstones?
Anyway, that’s Kate. Kate’s had it rough. Mutants are at the bottom of the foodchain, most X-Men are dead and only a small cadre of resistance fighters remain, Sentinels dominate, and while she is married to Piotr, her children have been murdered. Bleak. Luckily, the rebellion has concocted the plan to shunt Kate’s spirit back in time to prevent this awful future from happening. (You’ve seen Days of Future Past, the last passably good X-Men film, you know what’s up.)
Let’s do the time warp again! 1981!Kitty’s mind gets taken over by 2013!Kitty, who promptly tries to convince the X-Men that a new Brotherhood of v. Evil Mutants will try to kill Senator Kelly, a presidential candidate who tries to put the mutant menace on the agenda. (Mutants tend to blow stuff up when he’s around.) Since the X-Men recently took a literal trip to Dante’s Infero and also befriended a cosmic world-ending entity, they basically shrug and go: “Yeah, this checks out.”
Off to Washington they go (zoommm) and there, they happen upon the Baddest Bitches in Herstory:
Tumblr media
“How dare you hate mutants, senator Kelly! We’ll fix that by killing you!” (Uncanny X-Men 141)
This All-New, All-Different Brotherhood consists out of:
Destiny, a blind woman who can see the future. Definitely the eeriest member of this group. Badass lesbian, though that won´t be canon for years.
Avalanche. Greek who makes things shake. Is a long-standing member of the X-Men Rogue’s gallery, but rarely features in the spotlight. I think he got more characterization in four years of X-Men Evolution than he ever did in the comics.
Mystique. Shapeshifter. Ruthless and unhinged, the Cersei Lannister of the X-Men universe. Absolute legend, secretly the wife of Destiny, currently not as unhinged as she’ll be later. Immediately implied to be related to Nightcrawler: it’s the yellow-eyes-blue-skin-combo.
Pyro. Can manipulate fire, not create it. Absolute pillock, in all the best ways of the word. Originally intended as gay, but they decided to make him Australian instead. (?!)
Blob. Big, strong, immovable. We’ve seen him before.
One of the details in this fight I enjoy is that Storm is still struggling with her leadership, although she has a better grip on things than Cyclops:
Tumblr media
Wolverine then proceeds to use those iconic but deadly claws about twice per issue for the next, oh, forty years. (Uncanny X-Men 142)
While the X-Men fight the Brotherhood in the present, we cut back and forth to the future. There, the X-Men consist out of some familiar faces - Storm, Colossus, Wolverine - and some surprises: Magneto (in a wheelchair), Franklin Richards (son of) and an unfamiliar ginger girl called Rachel. (She’ll be important later.) We even learn (one of) Magneto’s names: this is the first time he’s canonically called Magnus.
One of the strengths of Days of Future Past lies in its brevity, the way it tantalizingly taunts us with a brutal but familiar future without giving away too much. It’s single-handedly responsible for all those dark future timelines the X-lines are so fond of which will eventually culminate in time-displaced grandsons from alternative dimensions and the impossibility of a succinct answer to the question: “Who’s Cable?” Too much of a good thing and all that.
Still, what Days of Future Past does so successfully is:
Put the idea of the mutant menace back at the forefront, hammering home the metaphor of mutants being a minority. Mutants being put in camps and being forbidden to breed should - regretfully - make us think of all too many real life equivalents. (Specifically, all of the imagery harkens back to the Holocaust.)
It starkly shows what happens should the X-Men lose, reminding everyone of the stakes. The X-Men are here for a reason: bridging the gap between mutants and humankind. If they fuck up, we end up with mutant concentration camps.
It helps that the X-Men in the future almost all die horribly: Franklin is incinerated, Storm is impaled… It's brutal stuff. The only one to survive is Rachel, who wonders if their plan actually changed the future or if they created an alternative timeline. (It did the latter, sorry ‘bout it, Rachel.)
In the present, Kate chases after Destiny, who trains a gun on senator Kelly. I always wondered how this works: if Destiny saw the future, she knew that killing Kelly would trigger a terrifying future. What in the current Marvel timeline made her decide that the Days of Future Past was better? Did she see her own death? Did she see the Onslaught-crossover coming? The Chuck Austen run? What was it?
In any case, time-anomalous Kate stops Destiny from killing Kelly and the future is safe! For now. Kate disappears, Kitty returns to her body and some of the Brotherhood are apprehended. All is well, for now.
After being a key figure in DoFP, Kitty is also the main character in the Christmas special, which is basically a straight up horror and a pastiche of the Alien-movie.
Tumblr media
Seriously, John Byrne still isn’t sure why he wasn’t sued by Ridley Scott for this. (Uncanny X-Men 143)
If you love Kitty Pryde? Read this issue. If you’re not convinced you like 80’s Kitty? Read this issue. It’s not continuity relevant and it’s basically Kitty playing the part of a Final Girl in a horror where she’s being chased by a demon, but it’s so good. It showcases all her strengths and her foibles. Kitty’s intelligent, cute (sometimes preciously so) and brave, but she’s also young, self-conscious and hot-headed. And it's not as if the other X-Men automatically adore her: Storm berates her all the time, she’s afraid of Kurt because of the way he looks (though she grows out of that) and she fights with Professor Xavier a lot. Moreover, she has a clever power-set for a young superhero who faces menaces on a daily basis: a thirteen year old who can go intangible is far less likely to have reality ensue on her and be dramatically offed because she's better at protecting herself.
I’m sure there are people who thought Sprite was hogging the spotlight, but I, for one, say she brings more to the table than, say, Angel. She’s not the Dawn Summers of this franchise.
Scott also gets a side quest. Poor guy can’t catch a break: first the love of his life dies, so he quits the X-Men, then he realizes he can’t do much else than be a superhero. He becomes a sailor on the ship of spunky captain Lee Forrester, is drawn into the sadistic plans of a demon unironically named D’Spayre and then shipwrecks in Bermuda with Lee.
The X-Men, meanwhile, are tormented by a team-up of Doom (who’s currently Latverialess and working on a comeback) and Arcade, that annoying crony. Locke, Arcade’s dom, has kidnapped the loved ones of the X-Men (Moira MacTaggart, Jean Grey’s parents, Illyana Rasputin and Amanda Sefton) in order to blackmail them into getting Doom to free Arcade. Apparently, Arcade accidentally insulted Doom and DOOM DOES NOT FORGIVE THAT FOLLY.
While the B-Squad (Polaris, Havok, Banshee and Iceman) goes to save Arcade’s hostages, the X-Men sneak into Doom’s castle. Well, except for Storm, who doesn’t give a single fuck and simply flies up to Doom, demanding an audience. Doom likes the cut of her jib and invites her to have dinner. (This is pre-Tinder, so this is a legit way of scoring a date.)
Tumblr media
If Storm has a flaw (I said if!), it’s got to be her atrocious taste in men. (Uncanny X-Men 145)
The X-Men find Arcade’s cell empty, while Arcade casually saunters up to Storm and says hi. Storm realizes too late that this is a trap: while the X-Men are all trapped in Saw-like traps, Storm is encased in ‘living chrome’.
If you remember she’s claustrophobic, you know why this is a bad move.
While the X-Men free themselves from their traps - Polaris hilariously has to deal with a murderous merry-go-round - Storm is slowly driven mad in her prison, triggering a worldwide tempest. (She causes Lee and Scott to shipwreck.) Under the threat of Wolverine’s claws, Doom releases Storm - or rather, unleashes her.
Tumblr media
“Instead of a Dark Lord, you would have a queen, not dark but beautiful and terrible as the dawn! Tempestuous as the sea, and stronger than the foundations of the earth! All shall love me and despair!” (Uncanny X-Men 147)
The memory of Jean brings Ororo back to herself and she starts undoing the superstorm she created. (If only climate change were reversed that easily.) Their confrontation ends by Storm easily forgiving Doom, because she apparently trespassed on his grounds without adequate cause.
Mkay.
All of Arcade’s hostages return to their homesteads, except for Illyana Rasputin, Piotr’s sister: she’s staying at the mansion for a while. Angel, who’s sort of been a part of the team since the Phoenix thing, has had it with Wolverine and his ‘tude, and decides to quit the X-Men : he doesn’t want to be a part of an outfit that has a killer like Wolverine on it. (Or maybe he’s just mad Claremont didn’t give him any storylines: his presence has been mostly pointless.) It’s too bad he left before Kitty started experimenting with her outfits: I bet he would have loved her ugly-ass costumes.
Equally inconsequential is the introduction of a brand new character, who then proceeds to disappear from the narrative for the rest of the year:
Tumblr media
Black Tom has tried to kill you at least twice, but him sending you a long-lost daughter doesn’t give you pause? Ugh, Sean, you deserve Moira. (Uncanny X-Men 148)
Intrigued by Theresa? TOO BAD, WON’T SEE HER AGAIN ANYTIME SOON.
Another new character is the lonely, decidedly mutant looking Caliban, who can sense “people like him” and is on the lookout for companions. Like many lonely people who try and grasp at friendship, he decides to overshoot his shot and ruin the night of Storm, Kitty and Jessica Drew at a Dazzler concert. Because he tries to kidnap Kitty, the girls react a trifle aggressively. When they realize their mistake - the eerily pale Caliban is a simpleton rather than a menace - he’s already fled. No mention is made of the Morlocks yet!
There’s also another dull annual where the X-Men team up with the Fantastic Four to save Arkon’s dimension from the Badoon and yaaaaawn. Far more interesting is the landmark issue #150. Slowly, through the adventures of Scott and Lee Forrester, Claremont has been setting things up for the return of a favorite villain. While the X-Men investigate Magneto’s old base in Antarctica on a hunch of Professor X and tangle with Garruk, Scott and Lee survive Storm’s tempest, only to wake up next to a strange island that seems to have been raised from the ocean.
It’s apparently some ancient citadel from a long forgotten civilization with a fondness for squid statues. (I don’t know man, I’ve never been to the Bermuda Triangle, maybe this is just super-accurate.)The tentacles make Lee Forrester feel very amorous, but before Scott can tell her he is way too repressed to just have sex with an attractive someone he’s known intimately for a month or two, Magneto saves his ass by revealing he, in fact, raised this island from the seafloor.
Oh, Magneto. So extra.
My ambitious little mutant demagogue then proceeds to take the entire world hostage, showing how much he’s grown from the pompous, raving madman from the sixties. (Sure, Magneto is still a bit of a madman, but increasingly, he starts being on the right side of history.)
Tumblr media
“I’m trying to make Magneto more sympathetic.”
“Just put him on a page with some bigger villains who are less noble, like the Vanisher, Count Nefaria, or…”
“Reagan, Thatcher and Brezhnov?”
“Er.” (Uncanny X-Men 150)
It’s obvious Magneto is being pivoted as a more noble villain, codified into the well-intentioned extremist we know and love today. Not only do we get the first hints at his past, fleshing out his motivations, he’s also not wrong. Humans are historically not great at taking care of the planet or each other.
When the Russians call his bluff and launch nukes at Magneto’s new island, he quickly disarms them. His retribution is swift and ferocious: the entire citadel is a machine that massively amplifies his powers. He sinks the submarine that launched the missiles, condemning the entire crew to death, and he casually erects a vulcano in a Russian city in Siberia.
Damn. Not messing around this time.
Despite his good intentions, Magneto is still definitely in the wrong: not only because of his methods, but as Scott points out: if Magneto unifies the world under his kind of benevolent dictatorship, all of that will simply fall apart as soon as Magnus dies.
In a way, Magneto is just as big a dreamer as Charles is: Charles believes in peace and integration, whereas Magneto believes his iron fist will be enough to make a perfect world happen. Both of them ignore the reality that acceptance is difficult and messy, because you’re trying to change essential human nature: the fear of the other. Magneto believes in big, sweeping gestures that will fix the world in move, while changing the world is also boring, hard work. One step forward, two steps back. Magneto just wants to leapfrog to his ultimate goal.
The X-Men fly over the citadel, returning from Antarctica, and their plane crashes into the ocean. (Magneto does not brook planes over his territory, humans!) The Professor is also nearby, looking for Scott with Moira, Peter Corbeau and Carol Danvers. The X-Men sneak onto the island, but to their horror, their powers are nullified by some machine of Magneto. They reunite with Scott, who formulates a plan to thwart the would-be ruler of the world.
While the rest of the X-Men go to trash the machine, Storm, Kitty and Lee infiltrate the control chamber where Storm finds a sleeping, shirtless Magneto. Once again showing her terrible taste in men, she is not weak in the knees at the sight of a sleeping Magnus: instead, she contemplates killing him.
Storm knows how dangerous he is, but she also knows that he’s a great man who’s fighting for ideals, no matter how misguided. She hesitates too long: Magneto stirs, suspects an attack and tosses her out of the window, to her death.
Magneto quickly undoes the sabotage the other X-Men have wrought to his machine. A fight erupts. Storm, meanwhile, has managed to grab hold of a ledge. She crawls back up and smashes an important-looking computer, restoring everyone’s powers.
The battle turns grim, but Scott sends Kitty away to wreck Magneto’s machinery. She sneaks off, following Scott’s orders and destroying both Magneto's power-up device and all of his plans by phasing though the computer circuitry. Magneto senses this and furiously gives chase. Overcome by rage, he attacks Kitty and disrupts her phasing power with a magnetic bolt, seemingly killing her?
Tumblr media
Everything about this story beat is great: mama bear!Ororo, mournful Magnus and even the fact that Kitty’s godawful outfit serves a narrative function: highlighting to us (and Magneto) just how young she is. The fact that Kitty’s Jewish is just icing on the cake. (Uncanny X-Men 150)
And thus, the softening of Magneto commences. 1981 might be a year with wildly varying narratives, but it has given us at least three enduring legacies to the X-Mythos: a new kind of Magneto, a fondness for dystopian futures and the character of Kitty Pryde, who's really come into her own this year.
Ugliest Costume: Kitty! Purposefully, but still. Best costume, by the way, goes to Destiny, with her creepy, creepy golden mask. Just imagine this lady casually strolling across a battlefield, eerily calm and collected, dodging everything you throw at her. Awesome design.
Best new character: I usually pick one character - what good is having a shared award when declaring the best of anything? - but this year, it’s going to one of my favorite couples: Mystique and Destiny. Can’t wait to see more of them.
Most audacious retcon: Blob somehow retroactively becomes a member of the original Brotherhood, which is not what happened. Ever weirder is Xavier pondering that he never met Magneto before his attack in X-Men #1, while their cordially adversarial relationship rooted in a youthful friendship would soon become a cornerstone of the X-Men.
What to read: Uncanny X-Men 141 - 143 and 150 - 152

maybe 40 (Almost Kiss) with either 6 (Bookshop AU) or 10 (Airport/Airplane AU), whichever you’d like more, with a ship of your choice from the fanfiction mashup list if you’d like ofc! (I’ll send another ask w the emoji ones ^^)
Checkate and Kateva with almost kiss and bookshop au! here ya go, only... several months late. Sorry? just a note before I begin, this is set a bit after the sleepover, except in a very canon divergent way. Chess and Farrah live, and Kate and Chess are dating. Chess and Eva won't be together, but they both know and are fine with Kate dating both of them!
Kate had been going to this bookstore for three weeks now, and they still hadn't figured out how to properly talk to the girl at the register, let alone flirt.
They'd been crushing quite hard on her for almost a month now, enough that they could barely stutter through the routine conversation of buying books without getting completely tongue-tied. It was just- well, she was so pretty, and she seemed so smart and she was always so nice and Kate was contemplating writing poetry about her. Poetry. So, in short, Kate was fucked.
Heaving a sigh, they flopped onto Chess's bed, tossing the three new books they were holding beside them. Chess closed the door, setting her backpack on her desk before turning towards them again. "Was Eva working again today? I swear, I've never seen you come out of a bookstore blushing that hard. You looked sunburnt, Kate, sunburnt."
Kate brought her hands up to her face, covering it almost fully. "Am I really that obvious? I don't just want to be that blushing, awkward lesbian that can't even string two words together around her."
Chess laughed, pulling their hands down. "Well, I would tell you to talk to her, but I think you probably would've already. What if you wrote her a note? Here, I'll start it."
She rustled around in the drawer of her bedside table for a moment before pulling out a notebook and a pen. Sticking her tongue out between her teeth in a way that was honestly unfairly cute when Kate was trying to deal with a new crush, she scribbled for a moment before beginning to read her message out loud. "Dear Eva. Hello! I'm Chess. This note is mostly to tell you that my partner, Kate, has an enormous crush on you. You might know them by now, they're the brunette who turns bright red whenever they try to talk to you. If you'd be interested in going out with them, check yes in the box below. Farewell (Maybe just for now?), Chess."
She looked up to find that Kate looked possibly more red than they had when they came out of the bookshop that afternoon. "I CAN'T GIVE HER THAT! IT READS LIKE A FORMAL EMAIL!" they squeaked, their attempt at a glare fully undermined by their blush.
~~
Kate stood in the bookstore again, staring intently at their feet as Eva read. They managed to fight the urge to look up as they heard a pen being uncapped and then the scratch of someone writing. Blushing, they accepted the paper from Eva, who, now that they looked, seemed to be about as red as they felt. Kate looked down at the paper in their hand, skimming over the note Chess had written for them before they got to the most important part. There, written on the paper in green sparkly ink, was a checkmark. Smack dab in the middle of the yes box.
Kate looked up, a hesitant smile on their face. "You maybe like me back?"
Eva nodded, coming out from around the counter. "I definitely like you back. Would it be ok if I kissed you?"
Kate's face broke into a full grin as they beckoned Eva closer to them. "That would be very ok with me"
They had just leaned in, lips about to brush, when a triumphant whoop startled them.
"Kate! I knew my note would work! I'm like, a note writing genius! I've gotten you two kisses, just through notes! Well, maybe just one. It'll be two once I leave the two of you be. I'll be outside!"
Kate took a tiny step forward, making up for the way they'd jumped at the sudden exclamation. "That's Chess. Who wrote the note. You know that."
Eva leaned in again, close enough that their noses brushed. "I'll be sure to thank her. Is it still alright for me to kiss you?"
Kate nodded gently, making sure that they didn't slam their head into Eva's, before closing the gap entirely.

Some of my favorite highlights from the We Are the Tigers 2nd Anniversary stream!
These are based off of memory so some of these will be just similar to what was said so sorry
“Kate was really into supporting Chess.... take that as you will”
“Wait— did we skip over Clark’s death?”
Discussion of ships and everyone starts screaming Chai in the chat.
*Preston mentions Chai* “Hey Celeste!” “Hey Wonu!” *insert Lauren being confused and asking what chai is in the chat*
“Reese killed someone but it was an accident out of self defense” “Justice for Clark!”
“Sydney the cellphone!” Celeste: ???? Wonu: oh right that was Celeste too!
Love how Wonu took pictures with Sydney’s phone and wrote stuff to Celeste so much
Lauren looking like a proud mom when Mimi said how much she appreciated the cast.
Preston talking about making all his projects gay.
Zoe Jensen’s adorable little narration of “End rant”
“I can’t remember the names. I’ve played Reese, I played Mimi, I played Sydney” bless Alexia
Talking about how Kate read the book “Girl with the dragon tattoo” (both one and two) and brought it too the sleepover, and she was projecting onto the detective character which is why she was so into solving the murder mystery.
Annleigh saying she would want to braid Farrahs hair in the show.... give me soft sister vibes please 🥺💖
“Lauren. If Riley didn’t murder anyone, where would she be after high school?” “Rehab.... or therapy. Definitely therapy.”
Mimi supporting Non-binary Reese in the chat!
FARRAHPY (Farrah x Therapy)
Zoe Jense was sprayed with a super soaker to get the fake blood on in time. I—
The Annleigh is a horse girl discussion.
“My advice is... be gay sooner— maybe???” Everyone cheers, big round of applause.
Celeste also not knowing what Chai is but confessing it near the end of the stream when it’s brought up again.
Finding out Sydney was an understudy for Kate and Celeste was one for Riley!
“Are you feeling okay? Did you drink water? Don’t get sick on me.” Sydney, Alexia and Zoe all panicking when they hear they might have to go on is great.
Louis being very supportive and then mentioning the broken chandelier.
“Wonu just found a broom— we didn’t even know we had a broom on stage— and started sweeping it up.” “I was not going to get cut for this pay check!”
Getting people to raise their hands in the chat if they love Eva Sanchez
The shower debate resurfacing,,,,, you’re welcome :)
Everyone in the chat recognizing each other or talking about head canons, only to remember the actors can see the chat at the end (this one is more so personal lmao)
Mimi supporting Cathy in over the moon “I’m her manager now”
Discussion of this being turned into a cartoon.
“I relate to Riley” *proceeds to talk about murder*
Kaitlyn saying she would play Clark,,,,,, I need that!
“Farrah wouldn’t kill Chess, Chess is sweet. She would probably kill Kate.”
“Who would you kill?” “Cairo” “oh Kaitlyn and I are on the same page, I was just about to say Annleigh”
Emo Eva ✨💙
And finally
All of the cast being amazing human people who deserve the world (oh wait, that’s always.)

Okay but time to share some wlw ships I adore cause its 2 a.m. and I can't sleep xx
I'll organize them so followers can skip to stuff they know
Cartoons/Animes:
The owl house
Lumity: obviously just an amazing ship, a healthy enemies/rivals to lovers queer romance suitable for all audiences, as well as some bi x lesbian support.
Ever after high
Darling x Apple: They 👏 Kissed 👏 2016ish. That is huge for that time, like yes, now there is Lumity and Catradora and etc., but back in 2015ish-2016ish it wasn't as expressed or shown in shows as it is now. And I just love the potential development they could have brought each other, especially Apple.
Rwby
Bmblb: literally they are the reason I am so comfortable with my own sexuality. They will always hold a special place in my heart for being the comfort I needed when I was questioning sexuality, and also they are gay af. Love them so much x
Whiterose: same as above, but they are less canon but still deserve so much love. Another rivals/enemies to lovers, but a bit more one-sided for the enemies/rivals part lol.
New Game!
Aoba x Hifumi: I just love how playful Abba can be with her, and how comfy Hifumi gets with Aoba. She is just so adorable and shy, and Abba brings out such a cute side of her.
Kakegurui
Meariri and Kirisaya: just very very gay, and I love them. Gambling lesbians for the win
I also like others, but these are the main ones that come to mind when I think about stuff xx
Games:
Danganronpa (dear lord are there a lot, so I limited it to the top 4)
Soapies/mahiyoko: borderline canon. Love the mean lesbian soft for one person vibe Hiyoko has, and her relationship with Mahiru makes her a better person and I just love to see that cause the poor thing has been put through so much.
Ikuzono: body guard x pop star au anyone??? Okay but seriously, the potential angst and hurt comfort is strong with these two and I love it! They are both totally underrated too so <3
Celesgiri: ENEMIES TO LOVERS!!!! ROMANTIC GAY TENSION!!!!! CRIME X SOLVES CRIME. 1000000/10. Also they are both just aesthetically pleasing next to each other. And also they are the mean bisexual x meaner lesbian meme/trope. Done with everyone's bs 24/7 and the two gay disasters who actually have braincells in their friend group.
Bandaid/tsumioda: for six fans, they are very similar to katanna vibes. Just genuinely an adorable pairing of loud and accepting gf x soft , shy, and kinda traumatized gf that can be very sweet as they give each other the love they both need and deserve. Also Ibuki is my highest kin and Mikan is my type, so bonus comfort for projection reasons.
Your turn to die
Naoreko: the domestic lesbians who adopted their autistic catboy son and have a lovely cottagecore family vibe i didn't ask for, but needed. Seriously though, if they weren't in the game they would have adopted Gin and Sara and possibly Joe and live as Cottagecore wives being supportive moms, and I love that. Also they are such a tattoo artist x flower shop owner vibe and I love that so much.
Genshin impact
Jeanlisa: oblivious x flirt who has eyes only for them. Everyone knows they are dating... but Jean.
Doki doki literature club
Sayonika: gay cottagecore vibes and very sweet gfs. Mental health rep woooo! Both deserve the world.
Natsuri: enemies to lovers, huh, who would have thought that I would of liked this trope? /lh /s
Musical theater:
Six
Katanna: literally the only thing I still have no issues with from the six fandom, these two I still adore and am proud to support as Kat and Anna both deserve the world.
BMC
Pinkberry: angry and bitchy character x literal ray of sunshine. They feel like the most likely to fit a coffee shop au on this list so xx
WATT
Kateva: Eva and Kate both are just interesting characters from a psychological and writing standpoint, so I love to think about how their relationship works out, especially since they are canon.
Live action:
Supergirl
Agentreign: haven't talked about them in a while, but I still love them. Bring sam back 2021.
Supercorp: seriously they need to be canon /srs. Otherwise, ima flip a table.
I would add more but now its almost 3 a.m. so xx

watt as things i've done:
kate: * sitting at the table, leaning down and making kissy noises for the cat *
cairo: who wants to help me load the dishwasher?
kate: *leans down further to emphasize the lack of want to help load the dishwasher and then the chair falls over*
kate: i'm good!
eva: is my chair good?
mattie: your girlfriend just fell over and you asked about the chair???
eva: she said she's good!!!
also the team having family dinners please and thank you
AGSKDHAKSJDOADJSK oh my gosh this is so perfect lol!!! this feels like it’s something directly out of the show honestly, it’s all so in character !!
yesssss im so here for team dinners! both finale squad post canon and in a no one dies au because both are so funny in my head. my brain immediately jumped to the idea of everyone (except mattie, reese, and chess who are trying to be polite) texting or livestreaming Riley’s captain speech at the start of each dinner. i do think Kate would live blog it like we did the watt reunion on their tumblr except decidedly less optimistic about it lol!! i love the idea!!!

I don't think Annleight mistreats Farrah at all. For me she's very patient and she even drove to a whole other county to get her. If it was me, I would be way harsher on Farrah lol. But!!! I still love to think of her as this cruel mean person who abuses Farrah. I know it's not at all canon and that she's a nice character, but idk it's just fun for me. Like it's nothing personal, just as people can view Kate as this traumatized soft helpless baby that needs Eva's help eventhough canon is very far from that. Just people having fun with how they wanna write a character
First part: I agree in that she doesn’t intentionally mistreat Farrah - she can be unkind to her and pretty neglectful, which is hurting Farrah, but she doesn’t mean to. (Does she have the right to be extremely frustrated? Yes! Is that making Farrah feel alone and unwanted? Also yes! Should they both work to fix their relationship and maybe have their parents not treat Annleigh like Farrah’s legal guardian and pretty much ignore the fact that both need help? Also yes!)
Second: I don’t like to think of abuse as “fun”, because I don’t want to step into glorification territory, but it’s alright to love angst as long as it doesn’t hurt people. (If you want to write Annleigh as 100% in the wrong from Farrah’s perspective, go ahead.) Yes, I do think people should have fun with how they write a character, but I also think that Annleigh and Eva are more than just “antagonist of Farrah and that’s it” and “helper of Kate and that’s it” - they’re characters with lives and emotions and storylines and aren’t one-dimensional - I wouldn’t be saying this if I hadn’t noticed a recurring theme (please, correct me if I’ve said anything hurtful or makes fans feel unsafe or unwanted. That’s not what I mean). TL;DR: write characters how you’d like but please try to do so in a way that doesn’t cause harm to others (for lack of better phrasing?)

Your pride HCs for the queebs were amazing! Can I request some for the WATT kids? -eka
Sure! I really am bad at HC but I will try. For the sake of the dynamics I’m using, assume no one dies and Riley isn’t a murderer unless otherwise stated.
Riley has been on the team since freshman year (that’s canon) and she’s always been really close with everyone on the team. She’s a people pleaser, so Riley was the girl who was friends with everyone on the team and always knew both sides of the drama. Despite being super sweet to all of them, she’s always held a secret resentment for the girls who are more talented than her because she feels like she’s failed if she isn’t number one.
Cairo has never cared about cheerleading. She thinks it’s stupid, and the only reason she even got involved with it is because Riley wanted to be on the team. She pulled a few strings and got Riley on the team, and seeing how happy it made her, decided to join as well. After canon, she stays on the team as a way to honor Riley - the goon in Riley - and keep the team’s spirit alive.
Kate pretends to be super tough, but she’s actually a cinnamon roll. She will try to start a fight with you, but cannot fight to save her life. More than once she’s tried to fight someone and Eva or Chess has had to drag her away before she can get her ass kicked. Kate’s like a small cat yelling, “Fight me!” No one takes her as a serious threat.
Chess is the only outwardly stable person in the group (other than Eva). She’s that friend who seems like they have their shit together but really has like - seventeen mental breakdowns on hold. If there was a co-captain position on the team, it would probably be Chess due to seniority and popularity. Chess is the ice to Kate’s fire, and is often the only reason the team doesn’t implode.
Annleigh is just a horse girl. Literally, that’s it. She has her own horse named Golden Doodle, nicknamed Goldie, that she likes to show off to all her friends in a ritual once she deems they are close enough to her. She and Clark go on romantic horse rides, except instead of Clark in front, Annleigh’s in front and Clark is just tightly holding onto her waist for dear life.
Farrah, when she’s not drunk, is the most talented person on the team. She would be qualifying for the Olympics like Chess if she wasn’t so young, and she puts the effort in when it counts. Also, Eva and Farrah met at a summer camp where they were training as flyers and have been friends ever since. The only games Farrah isn’t drunk at is West High games because she wants to impress her friend.
Reese, Mattie, and Farrah are THE Chaotic Trio™, and it’s not even intentional. Reese kind of just unintentionally adopts Mattie and Farrah as her sisters and it escalates from there. Farrah intentionally tries to cause trouble, Mattie doesn’t know any better and goes along with it, and Reese tries to fix it all and ultimately just makes the situation spiral even more. Suprisingly, Reese is the most responsible amongst the group and as such feels like it’s her duty to tell Riley or anyone else in charge when Farrah has once again set Mattie’s kitchen on fire.
Also, yes, Farrah has set Mattie’s kitchen on fire multiple times. It’s a regular occurrence.
Mattie is the collective daughter of everyone else in the group. If someone isn’t supervising Mattie at any given time, assume they’re all dead. It’s not that Mattie needs supervision because she’s irresponsible, it’s the fact that she’s so easily convinced to do anything. Mattie has commited multiple felonies unknowingly when trying to help Farrah with some of her “projects”. Therefore, she must be parented by the more responsible members of the group.
You better believe Riley and Cairo are Mattie’s responsible mothers and Kate and Eva are the chaotic aunts that let Mattie stay up past midnight.
Clark is the unofficial mascot of the Tigers. When Reese joined the team, they didn’t have anyone to be the Tiger, so the mascot was discontinued. But Clark shows up to every game and hangs out with the cheerleaders, so they’ve started calling themselves “The Tigers and their mascot, Clark!” Annleigh thinks it’s adorable, and Clark is more than happy to support the team with his ridiculous dancing and the poorly rhymed cheers he spends hours writing.
Eva is extremely socially anxious/awkward. She has no friends outside of cheer because she’s too awkard to talk to anyone, and everyone thinks the best flyer in the state already has a ton of friends. It leaves Eva really isolated from the people around her, and she’s gotten used to being an island. That’s why she and Farrah clicked - they were both outsiders at their cheer camp and after some pushing and pulling, realized they have more in common than they initially thought. Eva never got to come out, but was outed by some of her teammates. Her first instinct had been to try and cover it up, but Eva wouldn’t let herself be pushed around by the girls under her instruction, so she took to wearing her pin in order to show she was proud of her sexuality. After a while, no one even bothered to comment on the pin, and it became a staple in Eva’s outfit.
Bonus! This isn’t really a headcanon as more of an AU. So Farrah and Eva met at a cheer camp where they had to team up as the two best flyers. But theyy became close because they were the two outsiders who didn’t really have any other friends at the camp. After a lot of anxiousness and eventually venting, they grew to be close friends. They would meet at cheer games and Farrah would ditch Annleigh afterwards to hang with Eva. And when Eva found out about Farrahs death and then was accused of killing her, she has a little breakdown moment where she admits that she and Farrah were friends and she feels sick replacing her on the Tigers.

hi random watt hcs perhaps????????
- adhd kate is a hill i will die on :)
- also consider: adhd reese
- kate and cairo hate each other so much because they dated the summer after kate’s freshman year, except cairo still isn’t out so nobody knew then and nobody knows now
- and actually nobody finds out for a really long time even after cairo does come out and starts dating chess
- which makes for some Very Awkward Moments when kate is third-wheeling them
- (eva figures it out and she’s very proud of that)
- also hey remember how guitar eva is canon according to pma?
- yeah eva learns lucky people as a surprise for kate
- kate cries (but denies it)
- mattie! and! eva! friendship!
- they have a sort of big-sister-little-sister relationship
- sometimes they go and get coffee for the whole team together before practice (if anyone has ever read her name in the sky it’s always basically the scene where hannah and wally go get coffee and beignets-)
- cairo is 100% the team’s mom friend i’m taking 0 constructive criticism
- she’s always got hair ties, snacks, and extra water bottles at competitions, she Will stop practice to force riley to take a nap Do Not Test Her, she helps mattie and farrah with homework, there’s granola bars in her backpack because she knows kate, eva, farrah, and riley almost never eat breakfast, etc
- and reese is the cool big sister of the team
- she’s the one who helps with hair at competitions/games, she’ll always listen to you venting (but she probably gives really bad advice, tbh), she’s definitely yelled at people making fun of chess, she’s just the Cool Big Sister
- clark is just kind of always awkwardly There, he’s annleigh and farrah’s ride home so he always hung around at school waiting for practice to finish so they can leave and then riley started inviting him to watch them practice (in the hopes that having an audience would make them suck less) (it didn’t) and he was too awkward to say no and now he’s just kind of There
- so i feel like it’s already an established thing in the fandom that the reason cairo was always bothering kate about chess is because she wanted someone else to come out first so she could gauge the reaction
- kate never actually really came out, it was kind of just a thing everybody knew, which actually was part of the frustration between them - cairo wanted kate to officially Come Out, kate preferred it just be a Known Thing and that it be treated normally
- and then kate started dating eva and nobody on the team cared that they were girlfriends so finally cairo asked chess out and put a little pride pin on her backpack and that was that
- annleigh doesn’t do dressage anymore but she still rides, she has a fancy friesian/quarter horse cross gelding and he is the light of her life
- she doesn’t really compete anymore but occasionally there’ll be an open show nearby and her trainer will offer to take her along with everyone else that’s going so she goes
- clark and farrah are always super embarrassing and cheer for her
- she loves it

unpopular opinion/rant sigh
im getting this out and hoping to goodness that someone agrees with me.
i personally hate seeing people cast younger bellatrix as someone other than helena bonham carter not just because i am a stan, but because she fits the role perfectly. like as the way bellatrix has been described in the books and by rowling, helena would fit better than let’s say katie mcgrath or whatever her name is or eva green (which makes no logical sense to me) or someone else like that. she’s described as having thick brown/dark hair, brown heavily lidded eyes, a gaunt face, sharp jaw and sharp features and all that post azkaban and such. reverse that you get helena perfectly in roles such as lucy honeychurch, olivia in twelfth night, elizabeth in frankenstein, kate croy in wings of the dove and so forth.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
it’s an injustice to the character, in my opinion. cast how you want, but it sucks to see certain face claims forced upon a community. (ie. every time i look in the bellatrix black tag it’s only katie and in rpgs on instagram i have been kicked for not using katie or whoever was set) i can see no one else as bellatrix ever other than the lovely helena bonham carter. even if she was not the canon face, i would still see her as she is perfect for the role.
THIS WAS AN OPINION/RANT POST DONT @ ME!!!

THESOULLESSHUNTER: an seven or eight-year journey.
So, I’ve definitively hung up my hunter’s coat. Like, I’m done playing Soulless Sam, for sure. But I did kinda want to take a moment to make a post about some of the highlights of my journey with him. Because my time with him will always be something I’ll remember fondly, even if he kinda went out with a whimper.
My version of Sam started out as pretty much something that came as close to a carbon copy as I could manage. I was always very much dedicated to keeping him tonally consistent to his canon counterpart, but in the beginning it came down to the minute details. It wasn’t until a few years in that he started to kind of develop in his own way, and start to really descend into... a very particular form of madness and insanity.
There were some times when Sam ended up developing rather intimate connections with women. Though sex was pretty much always a factor, some verses and scenarios had him forging different sorts of connections, all with their own distinct differences.
He found a sort of kinship with a girl name Ronnie. The two of them were pretty much torn from the same cloth, and often engaged in a romp or two whenever they were in each other’s vicinity. (Or at the very least, they’d flirt each other’s pants off.) At a point, Sam even wrestled for a brief period over whether he had any sort of special attachment to her, because he had gone through a very brief state of having a soul, despite not wanting it. (It was a magic anon that I actually chose to run with for a little bit.)
He developed a rather intense relationship with a demon who referred to herself as Alexis. And much like most of his pairings, the majority of their relationship was based around sex... but Alexis, I believe, was the first to really explore the idea of having an ongoing relationship with Sam, and actually convey to him that it would be an open one. That they could both fool around as much as they wanted, but they’d always come back to each other. (That didn’t necessarily last too long, but it was still something I thought was interesting. Also, just as an aside, I think the character of Alexis was the one who introduced me to Kate Upton.)
His penchant for preying on younger girls started to really take off when he found a naughty little minx in the form of a girl named Rhiannon. I can’t recall if she was a high school student or college student, but she was definitely in that age range. And she was the first girl that had, on record, driven Sam to the point where he had forced himself on her. And of course, subsequently she’d find herself tormented with a need that kept her coming back to him.
Sam also had a tendency to go a little bit older! Of course, it wasn’t often that it happened, but it certainly happened. I like to think about one affair he had with a woman whose name, I believe, was Eva. She was an upper-class woman, with a distinct taste for the more expensive, refined things in life. That being said, she took a certain shine to Sam because he was so rough around the edges. (And what makes this stick out even more in my memory was the fact that the woman’s FC was Kate Winslet. Now that’s a face you don’t see every day in the RPC. Which is a shame, because she’s damn fine.)
Funnily enough, I found myself dabbling into the wrestling RPC on a few occasions. XD It mainly came from my attraction to the Bella sisters, but I found some other fun dynamics in the form of Sam being played off of the likes of Natalya Neidhart and Paige.
While he wouldn’t take a deep dive into debauchery until much later, I distinctly remember him getting his first taste with a girl named Anna. Anna was another one of those girls that Sam formed a really special sort of relationship with. While they weren’t exactly torn from the same cloth - Sam was a hunter, but Anna was just a regular small-town girl - they definitely sparked a special sort of chemistry. One that ended up leading to Anna exploring a side of her that she didn’t often get to explore with other guys. (One of their first times having sex, I remember that there was a good amount of knife play involved.)
Not too long after Anna, Sam found another girl who... at least at first, looked a lot like her, but interestingly enough, the kind of connection they developed was one that was even more intimate in its own way. They bantered with each other like best friends, had sex that was about as passionate as it could possibly get, and they even came to blows on a few occasions, especially when a certain blond-haired man entered Sam’s life later on. But to the very end, she was always Sam’s Blondie.
I remember there was once a girl named Charlie, that Sam had a really amusing sort of relationship with. It wasn’t Charlie from the show; I don’t even think Charlie existed at that point. But this Charlie was quite literally a petite freak. She was about what you’d expect from someone who had her looks. (Her FC was Lucy Hale.) She was kind of quiet, kind of shy, kind of soft-spoken, maybe with a little bit of an attitude... but she also had a certain masochistic side to her that Sam liked to prey on. And, as always, Sam seemed to bring out a really kinky, twisted side to her.
Speaking of petite freaks with really kinky sides, that brings me to probably one of the most memorable pairings in my whole run. I’m not sure if I can speak for my entire following, but I think I’ve been told at least three times that if there was ever a girl that was perfect for Sam, if there was ever an OTP that involved my version of Sam, it would’ve been with Cassie Cosmos. While Cassie Cosmos was not the first Ariel Winter muse I had played against, she was without a doubt the most distinctive, and the one with the most developed relationship with my Sam. Cassie started out as a girl who made money off of cumming on camera, only to be bribed into Sam’s arms and taken - essentially - into his custody, all for a long ride of wild, frantic sex that got progressively more and more degrading as time went on. It wouldn’t be until the last year or so that there would actually be a change-up in their dynamic. While Sam had already used Cassie in a number of ways by this point, there came a point when she started to develop a rebellious streak and started to fight him more, after a traumatic experience of being roofied and subsequently abused by the man. She even ended up getting away for a bit... but they managed to reunite and reconcile - sort of - before things came to a close on my end.
I also found my love for bimbos and bimbofication through Sam, and managed to play out more than a few scenarios involving them. There was Cora, the blonde he wooed into the bathroom at the bar they were at, before making her walk back out with him completely naked, waving goodbye to everybody like nothing was wrong. There was another Charlie, who was much bustier than the other one I was talking about, and had a hell of a lot more daddy issues. (Which naturally made it easier for Sam to prey on her.) There was Lorelei, a girl who just needed a ride from point A to point B, but then ended up turning herself into a complete whore after Sam put his hands on her. There was Annie who, in some cases was a house maid for Sam, in others a stepdaughter. Whatever role she ended up playing, she was always boobs over brains, and completely infatuated with Sam, no matter how horrible he treated her. There was Maria who, for all of her psychic capabilities, could not fight or move on from Sam even if she wanted to. Sam even got to make a dumb little bitch out of Tifa Lockhart, who was actually my real-life first waifu! So yeah, good times!
I’m listing a bunch of girls right now, but that’s not to say that Sam didn’t have his fair share of male companions. Sure, they paled in comparison to the number of girls Sam fooled around with, but I can say at the very least that I was able to develop at least a few really good bromances. There were hunters like Dex and Laine, the former being a slightly younger man who Sam almost looked to as a protege of sorts, and the latter being an older, more seasoned hunter who shared more than a few hilarious interactions and misadventures with my soulless hunter. (I’ll never forget how Sam tried to talk him into letting him be his wingman, only to find out he was gay.) There were gods and monsters like Iacchos and Ky’lar, with the former bestowing some of his power onto Sam and grooming him to be something of a successor, and the latter coming into possession of his soul and bartering a deal that basically made Sam his lap dog. (Unfortunately, that one didn’t get to be explored as much, but... you know.) And of course, there was... Evan.
Now, Evan DeLaurentis deserves his own bullet-point because... personally for me, what Cassie was for the women’s side of the equation, RP-wise, Evan was for the men’s side. Like, while Sam’s relationship with Laine was definitely a prominent bromance for a while - and make no mistake, I loved that shit - his relationship with Evan tops that in my book because it was more to their dynamic. There was a lot more going on with them. Evan came into Sam’s life because he killed his wife and kid; he came into Sam’s life with the intention of ending it... but that didn’t happen, because they were both essentially equally unstoppable forces. And while they could’ve used that as a shit ton of opportunities to kill each other... they didn’t. Sure, they always had a sneaking suspicion that one would turn on the other. But they had enough respect for each other to be able to work together, even crack a few jokes at each other’s expense. (Gen probably played some role in bridging that gap, though. She was Sam’s Blondie, but she also shared a close relationship with Evan.)
There were some other ships and interactions that I enjoyed playing though, even the ones that didn’t get as much exposure or time to develop for one reason or another. Like, if I happened to write with you and you don’t happen to see something relating to you on here? Don’t think it isn’t any less valid or special for not being in this little retrospective post. I love the time Sam and I got to spend with each and every one of you.
Also, with that said, there were times when I found more profound memories and connections in the people I got to write with. The creative muns behind the characters. Some of the friends I’ve made in my time as thesoullesshunter are people I still talk to and keep and touch with today. I’d have to be soulless myself to not have a deep appreciation for that.

1, 4, 5, 12, 13, 16, 18
1) Favorite song?
Before the Breakdown! It sounds good, it’s super fun to dramatically lip sync, and I like overanalyzing all the solo lines (you’re the score you got on SATs/a number on a scale . . . etc)
4) If you could save either Chess, Farrah, or Clark, who would you save?
In terms of like, how much I like the character and want them alive, I’d say Chess, but as far as what I think would make for an interesting story: Farrah. Most people on the team dislike her, she’d be an instant suspect due to her beef with Chess, and I’d be so interested to see how the other characters (specifically Kate, Cairo, and Annleigh) interact with her following the murder.
5) Favorite character?
Kate! I can’t fully explain why I love her so much but her sarcasm and loyalty are really great, and I love her in the second act--her motivation being exposing the team and correcting their wrong is really compelling to me.
12) Favorite WATT ship?
Kate/Eva <3 (though I will say, watching the show I liked Clark and Annleigh a lot more than I expected to based on the soundtrack)
13) Which character would you want to play if you got to be in the show?
oh damn that’s hard. Any role would be a ton of fun but I think my top choice would be Eva, with Kate and Chess as close seconds.
16) If you could swap Clark’s life for someone else’s, who would you kill?
Hmmmmmmm Riley. It’d make Reese’s reaction really interesting--I thought it was the murderer but it was actually just Riley, except Riley is in fact the killer-- and act 2 would obviously be drastically different and I’m curious as to how that would play out, given that the actual murderer would be dead and the rest of the team would probably continue to blame each other, plus the complications of “we can’t disrespect her memory” if anyone did start to suspect Riley had done it.
18) All-time favorite headcanon? (Don’t forget to give credit if it’s someone else’s!)
Not sure how well this lines up with canon but: Kate used to go to the same church as Annleigh but doesn’t attend anymore. This is mostly just me wanting to project on my favorite character but I also think it adds a cool layer to the “none of us have a problem with it [Kate being Not Straight], right Annleigh?”

hi i'm new to tumblr i just wanted to say i read your arcmaiden fanfiction and i loved all of it i was disappointed when star wars did not give us much background on padme's handmaidens i mean since padme is badass i definitely think they would be to also the clones are some of my favourite characters, your writing is really beautiful so from the bottom of my heart thank you can't wait to read more hugs and happiness to you my name is kate by the way you definitely have a fan in me xo
aaah my goodness kate!! thank you so much!! it makes me so happy that you’re reading and liking From Which Stars ❤ @evaceratops and i have been pouring hours and hours of discussion, meta, and headcanons about the handmaidens into it - in addition, of course, to the fives/rabé slow burn.
i definitely agree that handmaidens would be completely and totally bad-ass, and it’s a real shame that we only got to see the tip of the iceberg in canon materials in episode one and a little bit in the clone wars. they’ve essentially highly trained spies! an extremely well-dressed girl gang! how could you not want to play around with that concept more, lucasfilm, i’ll never understand that…
eva and i don’t mind trying to fill that gap, though - it’s been so fun to write about how anakin, ahsoka, and the 501st are utterly awestruck of the handmaiden trio ❤
