so this is what ive gathered so far about the advantages and disadvantages of each team
GREEN NINJAS
Advantages:
PVP strong, various bases for each member, spawn in jungle biome, Etoiles
Disadvantages:
Every member for themself, fewer consistent players, ElQuackity, many conflicting leader personalities
SOULFIRE
Advantages:
Dedicated farming/resource team, consistent players, tactical when theyre on the same page, BBH
Disadvantages:
Spawn point in icy wasteland, uncoordinated game plans, uncoordinated timing, cat hits them with a frying pan :/, overconfidence, BBH
BOLAS ROJAS
Advantages:
Fuck it we ball, coordinated team efforts, coordinated timing into the late night, safe zone close to Center, good communication, Carre
Disadvantages:
Not overall pvp heavy, spawn point pretty much universally known, go through mountain to get to center
(please feel free to add more! i watch mostly BBH, but have also been watching foolish, cellbit, philza, tina, rivers, and bagi)
**edit: beds just didn't work in general, red also goes through mountain to get to Center

Yandere!Gaara
warnings: yandere!gaara, younger!gaara, older!reader, female!reader, non-confirmed age gap but not the illegal kind, normal yandere themes, pronouns used are she/her, unreliable narrative so reader is referred as '[name]' or you
― 𝐑𝐄𝐃 𝐑𝐎𝐒𝐄 𝐀𝐍𝐃 𝐒𝐇𝐀𝐑𝐏 𝐓𝐇𝐎𝐑𝐍𝐒
▸ There was one thing Gaara thought that he liked among the darkness.
▸It happened to be [Name], the daughter of the owner of the local florist in Suna.
▸To the little redhead, [Name] had been light when he was shunned by everyone, even his own family, who were scared of him.
▸She was the reason he lived.
▸Offeriong him sweet candies secretly whenever she could or offering to teach him about the flowers in the shop.
▸When her parents decided to travel the world when [Name] was old enough, she took over the shop.
▸At the same time he became the Kazekage.
▸Gaara continued to woo her so that he could win her affection.
▸He didn't succeed until the tailed beast was separated from him, making him more rational.
▸Without the beast, his obsession grew but didn't leak that would make [Name] run away from him.
▸Gaara and [Name], would be forever together.
You stepped on the hard tiles of your shared home as softly as possible to not alert a certain redhead.
Only to open the door to your bedroom to see Gaara with his arms crossed.
His sea-green eyes seemed too intense as they gazed upon you, making you cringe and step back.
"Where were you?" Gaara asked, his tone was calm but underneath that facade was a possessive man who didn't want you to stay away from him.
"You left without telling me." His tone tune accusatory making you gulp as your mind raced to what you could say to him.
"I just wanted some... some fresh air." Your voice turned timid as you finished the sentence making those cold green eyes soften to a degree.
"You know how dangerous the world is right?" When you nod, he continues: "Don't go without informing or I won't be able to protect you."
He wanted to have some ninjas guard you from the shadows but betrayal was easy, especially among humans, he thought about how his friend Naruto had summoning frogs and thought he should also do the same.
"You wanted fresh air right, let's go." Gaara dragged your body into his arms and held you close.
The relationship was nice in the beginning, you felt flattered that such a high-ranked man wanted you.
Soon, you realised that the rose too had its thorns.
You were isolated and while you were introverted in nature, it didn't mean you absolutely disliked every human interaction.
There were some people you liked but in the end, even they drifted apart because of Gaara who used all the tactics so you could only rely on him.
With everyone running away in fear, your flower shop was forced to be closed making you rely on Gaara even more now that he had the power in the monetary terms as well.
There was no space for you, you thought to yourself.
Then a hand gripped your wrist tightly making you wince.
"Who are you thinking about?" The dark undertone in Gaara's voice made you shiver and he tightened the grip on your wrist.
"No one." You replied trying to get back your wrist which was now hurting.
"Really?"
Seeing you nod, Gaara loosened the grip on your hand and you could see the skin become bruised under the harsh grip.
The redhead clicked his tone as he gently brushed his fingers on the dark bruise on your wrist
"See, how will you live without me?"
He loved you too much, he could not let you go.
Gaara would never let you go.

Hiii!! I’m back idk if it’s too early for me to request again, 😭 I was thinking maybe you can do a headcanons for the ninja when their lover Y/n calls them a cute name in middle of battle and for Lloyd it could be “Green Bean” but for Kai “Hotshot” (used by skylor) but I can’t think of the other ninja, maybe you can think of ones for them. The ninja would act like they don’t like the nickname but secretly love it, I really wanna hear your thoughts on this 😭🙏
Honestly, this is a very cutie idea!! 😝🤭 Have been thinking about how to write this one for at least a few days since I got it! It's not the best as I did get stuck on some of the characters more than others 😭🙏
~~~
How they'd react to cute nicknames in probably one of the most unconvinent timings? {Ninjago's Ninjas}
Tumblr media
~ Lloyd Garmadon ~ {Green Bean}
He halted in his movements after he heard you call out to him, "Grean Bean, watch your left!" You shouted this being the first time calling him this nickname, "What?" Nonetheless of being confused, he would continue the battle. Whilest he concealed a smile throughout it and would never confess nor agree that he did such.
Would approach you after about how it was most definitely irresponsible with the timing. Let's just say that you did recove maybe a kiss or more than usually after.
Even with how much he denied his like for it he did secretly wish for it to be used on a more casual term rather then open in battle, knowing the enemy would most likely laugh at him and not be able to take him seriously.
~ Kai Smith~ {HotShot}
Having you right behind him as his rock to hold him from bring hurt, "I've got your back HotShot." It's hard to believe he could be irritated, upset, or angry about it, especially as his lover. Feeding his ego as which also pushed him to work even better, confidence rushing through him.
His arm does often rest around your shoulders, even more now. When he knows you're capable of giving out nicknames, your shoulders will meet rest once again.
Wouldn't bring it out up right away, but he would use it against you if you tried anything in the near future.
~ Cole Brookstone ~ {Pebble}
Didn't even think twice about it and just accepted it at the time being, being too busy to worry about nicknames. Even if he'd get a few butterflies in his stomach from you every time.
"Need help, Pebble?" You had asked oh so sweetly, yet he acted as if he didn't wish to hear it. Crossing his arms with a neutral expression acting as if he didnt like it, but deep down, we all know he is just a softie who enjoys giving and receiving nicknames.
~ Zane Julian ~ {Sherbet}
He fully stopped coding and looked over at you. The only word to explain how he looked was confused. "Have you named me after an ice cream sort?" But decided to jump back to what he had to finish either way.
"I turned off the cameras on the first floor, Sherbet." Only informing him about the updates yet being confronted with a more suspicious reaction then intended.
~ Jay Walker ~ {Blitz}
"Catch Blitz!" Was the only words he heard before he was hit on the shoulder by the the nunchucks someone kicked out of his grip. His heart raced alongside his cheeks, heating up but luckily hidden under his mask.
He truly did appreciate and adore nicknames from the one and only you! He was embarrassed that it was in front of others, so he would "complain" about how he didn't like it even when he thought it was adorable. Flared his nose and shook his head when it came to this topic of liking the nickname.
~ Nya Smith~ {Lily Pads}
"Use the water, Lily Pads!" Her eyes widened, but shook it off quickly to continue her main gaol at this moment. She was confused at first but did find it cute, so she decided not to comment until a better time, at least until there wasn't someone trying to kill them was there.
Ended up never even mentioning it, but she looked unpleased about it. Having gotten used to you spitting out cute names here and there didn't bother her too much after a while.
A scowl on her lips about it, knowing it's best to show you that it wasn't okay for the nicknames to be spat out in important timings.
Tumblr media
Okay, I’m not gonna take up too much time but let me explain: I had the thought that as Lloyd gets older there is a part of him that wants a normal life, and long story short I made an oc Corlette and I have fallen in love with her.
So here are the story beats: This is during Dragons Rising, Corlette used to be in a cult that used the concepts of nun and sisters, Lloyd and Corlette met when Lloyd ended up on the doorsteps of the cult when he was gravely injured, Corlette join the ninja gang after cult shenanigans, She takes care of the monastery with (or in place of) Mr. Frohicky, Corlette has confused her love to Lloyd yet hasn’t gotten a response, and idk how we got to the plot of this fic we just did, kidnapping/running-away shenanigans. Enjoy!
“ARE YOU TWO OKAY!”
Whoever is above… grandpappy maybe… don’t let these kids change.
Lloyd chuckled, looking at Arin and Sora’s worried expressions from his phone screen, “Yeah, Corlette and I are fine.”
“What the hell did those guys want with Corlette anyway?” Cole asked.
The blonde leader sighed, “Aftermath of the cult, I guess, they only referred to her as sister Corlette or sister Clover.”
“Oh, I thought Clover was your nickname for her,” Kai laughed.
“Shush,” Lloyd huffed.
“Where are you two right now?” Cole asked, after elbowing Kai in the ribs, “It looks gloomy.”
“We found a city in the middle of a forest,” Lloyd began, “It’s obviously not a part of Ninjago a merged realm. It started raining hard once ever since Corlette and I got out of that stupid cave we found the closest building for shelter, which happened to be a hotel.”
“Atta boy!” Kai exclaimed before being smacked upside the head by a hard nindroid hand.
“Do you even have money for a hotel room right now?” Sora asked.
Lloyd shook his head, “No, but our tales of heroism have reached here, we have gotten the room for free…” he looked at the room through the balcony door glass, he was given a very nice and most likely very expensive, deluxe suite, “It’s a little too big for my liking and I mean we are only here to get our clothes dry.”
“I would advise against that Lloyd,” Zane remarked off-screen.
Lloyd sighed, “Zane, I’ve had enough bad news for one day, don’t give me more.”
“Apologize, but—”
“I don’t like that but.”
“There is a storm system heading start for that area,” Zane informed, “It would be best for the two of you to stay put and leave with the storm passes.”
“Send me radar and I’ll make that decision for myself!”
He could hear Zane sigh, “You are going to agree with me, especially since you jumped on that motorcycle of yours,” the nindroid scoffed, “like some kind of manic.”
The weather radar is covered in oranges, reds, and even purples where Lloyd and Corlette are located, “Well, shit,” the green ninja sighed.
“So, you agree with me,” Zane replied smugly, pocking his head in frame.
“Look on the bright side Lloyd you’ll get to spend alone time with your clover~” Kai mocked.
“Stop it,” Lloyd huffed, his cheeks heating up in the view of everyone in the hanger bay.
“Alright, everyone out!” Zane ordered.
“Stay safe, Lloyd,” Arin commented as everyone headed for the elevator.
It’s now only Zane and Lloyd, the ice ninja in full view of the camera, “You sure you can’t come and rescue us?”
“Sadly no.” Zane answered, “that would put us in more danger.”
Lloyd sighed, looking out into the large city in the middle of the forest, from the covered balcony, watching the gray clouds get even grayer as the rain continued to pour down, “I don’t want to be alone with her right now,” Lloyd confessed, “I feel horrible.”
Zane hummed. Lloyd had confided in Zane more than once about Corlette ever since she confessed, she had feelings for him.
“I mean what are we going to talk about, we’ve already had the gut-punching conversation now it’s going to be awkward,” Lloyd groaned.
“Maybe it will be good if you two are truly alone. You two will be able to properly talk. Maybe work out your feelings with her.”
Lloyd huffed, “I hope you are right. Because if you aren’t this is only going to get worse.”
“I’ll keep an eye on the weather, and keep you updated,” Zane remarked.
“Thanks, Zane,” Lloyd replied, “See ya whenever we get out of this place.”
“See you soon.”
Their call is then disconnected, and Lloyd went back inside the shower tap is no longer running unlike before when he went out on the balcony. Corlette exited the bathroom, in a dark-colored robe and her hair wrapped in a towel.
“That bathroom is the nicest bathroom I’ve ever been in,” she commented.
“I can only imagine,” Lloyd retorted watching her take her hair down from the towel wrap, her willow and dem spring hair falling her hair back and hitting her shoulders.
“Thank you for saving me… once again.”
“You say that as if I wouldn’t.”
Corlette laughed, “That’s not what I might.”
“So, what did you mean?” Lloyd asked.
She stood there her head tilted to the side with a hand full of her drying with the towel, “You came to save me.”
“I heard no difference.”
“Of course, you didn’t,” Corlette giggled, “I put some towels in the towel warmer for you, for whatever you want to do, my clothes are in the dryer, so just toss your stuff in there and hit start."
“Uh, it wouldn’t hurt to wash our clothes maybe, we’ll be here the whole night most likely,” Lloyd explained, walking toward the bathroom.
“Well, that sucks.” Corlette sighed, “At least the room is nice.”
Lloyd hummed as he entered the bathroom, getting ready to jump in the shower, ready to overthink his feelings for Corlette and every interaction they’d ever had.
“Lloyd, I love you!”
It is not that he doesn’t love her. There is a part of me that has fallen in love with her in the time that they’ve known each other, the past 6 months. Yet he couldn’t answer her,
“I don’t need a response.”
That just made it even worse, he knew he looked stupid, and he didn’t even seem himself. That night, in the training yard, staring at Corlette his red and green heterochromatic eyes big and wide looking at her shocked, because she said something that he never thought he would ever hear, and then said she didn’t need a fucking response.
It’s rough for a man who doesn’t believe he can be loved by someone so caring and thoughtful.
Damn, shits rough when your heart has been destroyed by an evil princess.
Once he’s done brooding in the shower, he wrapped himself in the same dark-colored robe Corlette that the hotel provided and started the dyer. Exiting the bathroom find Corlette lying on the L-shaped couch left of the balcony door.
Look down at her as she lay on the couch with her eyes closed as she was meditating, “You okay, clover?” He asked, knowing she wasn’t asleep by her crossing and uncrossing her ankles.
“Yeah, only have a bunch of burses and broken nails,” she answered, after opening her beautiful latte-colored eyes and holding up her right hand showing off the broken nail on her ring finger, “your hair looks nice like that.”
“What? Wet,” he scoffed as she got up and off the couch.
Corlette giggled, looking over at the large bed in the suite, “So, I guess we are sharing a bed.”
“Huh?”
“One bed,” she remarked pointing to the bed whilst looking back at him, “but it’s large enough for us not to touch.”
Lloyd’s cheeks became flushed at her comment. But in truth, he would love nothing more than to lay with her and hold her.
“Unless you want to touch then, I can kick you in the middle of the night,” she joked making Lloyd chuckle slightly.
Corlette moved her way over to that large bed and laid down before sighing loudly, “Thankfully, we are here for free,” she mentioned, “I can’t imagine what this room would cost, especially with a bed like this.”
“A bed can’t be that comfortable,” Lloyd observed her seemingly sink into the bed mattress and pillowy cloud-like bedding.
“Come here then, savior,” Corlette replied, “You’ll be eating your words.”
Lloyd sighed. making his way over, he’s going to get himself in trouble with this whole bed-sharing situation.
“Holy shit, this bed is nice.”
Corlette giggled.
“I’m sorry,” Lloyd sighed after a few minutes of lying there in silence.
“For what?”
“Letting you get kidnapped.”
Corlette scoffed, “You did not let me get kidnapped.”
“If you weren’t with us—”
“AH-NO!” She exclaimed sitting put then looking at Lloyd, a finger in his face, “You and your little ninja family are not the reason a broken faction of a sacrificing cult kidnapped me! Remember, I was a part of the cult; you helped me out of it! AND YOU!” She poked him in the chest, “Jumped on a motorcycle to save me from being sacrificed, again. You are not a fault!”
Lloyd sighed with a slight smile on his face, at her praise, “If anything I am the one a fault, I was roaming around the crossroads without a care if I was noticed or recognized,” she added.
“Hey now! You were running our errands,” Lloyd retorted, “How about we both say we are to blame and make it even.”
Corlette giggled before grabbing a large strand of her lengthy hair, “Maybe I need to change my hair color or haircut, It’s very distinct.”
“No,” Lloyd sighed, twirling a strand of her hair before his sigh turned into a bit of a whine, “No, don’t do that, hair is perfect.”
“I shouldn’t have mentioned changing my hair color with the man who loves the color green.”
Lloyd continued to play with her hair as she sat next to him, “What would you even color your hair anyway?”
“I don’t know,” She muttered, “Brown?”
“Mhm.” Lloyd hummed, attempting to picture her with Brown hair, “I think you are more than gorgeous with your hair the way it is now. But if you had to you’d still be just as gorgeous if your hair was brown.”
Lay his life in front of the First Spinjitzu Master, his own grandfather, he’s in love with this woman!
“You are being quiet the flirt,” Corlette remarked as fingers left the tips of her hair.
“I can’t help it,” Lloyd admitted, “You’re gorgeous.”
“I bet you tell that to everyone you save,” she added, jokingly.
It made him think for a second, made him think of Harumi. Did he ever call her gorgeous? He did think at one point that the Jade Princess was beautiful, but he could never recall ever telling Harumi that she was beautiful.
“No, you are the only one,” Lloyd replied softly, “…Gorgeous.”
“You are getting into dangerous waters, Savior,” Corlette commented.
“I would say we are already in dangerous waters,” Lloyd retorted, his hand resting on the side of her forearm, “Ya’ know, since of the rain.”
After the mention of the rain, a loud clap of thunder made Corlette jump, as the few lights that were on in the room flickered, “That was loud,” she whimpered.
“Weather’s getting worse,” Lloyd muttered, his thumb stroking her forearm.
“How bad is it supposed to get?”
Lloyd reached for his phone allowing her to see the weather radar Zane sent him, “Oh no,” she muttered, “Lloyd this is terrible.”
“I know, that’s why we can’t go home,” he mentioned, as she handed him back his phone.
“I hope my phone can be fixed,” She commented,
“It may be something below Zane’s pay grade, but it can be fixed.”
Corlette sighed laying on her stomach elbows digging into the mattress as her first rest on her chest whilst continuing a soft conversation full of meaningless small talk with Lloyd, as the weather continued to roar on outside as the night grew later and the skies grew darker.
Once the power went out because of the bad weather, the two of them only got closer under the cloud-like sheets on the big hotel bed, and it wasn’t even on purpose.
In the darkness of the hotel room, the light coming from Lloyd’s glowing eyes, Corlette giggled brushing strands of his hair out of his face, as he basically laid under her. “What’s funny?” he asked.
“Your eyes,” Corlette answered, “I never realized how bright they glowed until now.”
As Lloyd continued to stare at her and think about her. Not only because she was there and they were talking to one another, he was barely paying attention to what they were talking about anymore, but thinking about how close they were, how soft she was being and speaking, how she touched him.
“Corlette…” Lloyd sighed, tucking her hair behind her ear, “You know, don’t you?”
“Know what?” She asked, enjoying his hand creasing her cheek.
“Corlette,” he groaned, “You can’t be serious.”
“I have no idea what you are talking about,” she replied with a wicked smirk on her face.
Lloyd huffed painfully aware of how close they both were, “Would you like me to say it again?” she asked.
“Please!”
Their foreheads rested comfortably against each other, “I love you, Lloyd.”
Those words made him feel like he was floating, and her closeness made him want her to be even closer. They stay their foreheads resting against for a good minute, eyes closed, basking in the comfort.
“You don’t nee-efm!”
He didn’t want to hear her say she didn’t need a response, not he couldn’t hear it again. Kissing her softly, and pulling her as close as she could be, Lloyd could run a marathon in this horrible ass weather at the rate he’s going.
“Fuck, I love you,” Lloyd exhaled, breathing against her lips.
Corlette smiled, “Thank you,” she cooed tracing the scar under his left eye.
“I’m sorry it took me so long to say it,” he breathed, kissing her knuckles on her left hand as she continued to trace the imperfection on his face.
“I only confessed to you maybe a couple of months ago, that doesn’t matter,” Corlette retorted.
“It’s hard,” the blond man lamented, “When you told me you loved me, I wanted to tell you that I adored you just the same, yet I couldn’t.”
“Lloyd, It’s alright,” the greenette breathed, “Your actions speak louder than your words.”
“I saved you!” Lloyd huffed smacking his forehead, making Corlette nod, “I saved you!”
“You got now, lover?”
“I’m an idiot,” he groaned.
“No, you’re not,” she laughed.
“I love you,” Lloyd yearned, rubbing up and down her arm.
“I love you too,” Corlette longed kissing him softly.
“You called me lover, is that something that going that’s going to stick like “savior”?”
“If you want it too.”
Lloyd held her close as they slept after kissing her a little more of course, groaning at the sound of his phone ringing only a few hours after they both fell asleep, “What,” he grumbled, answering the call.
“Good morning, Lloyd,” Zane replied.
“Zane, if you have called me this early just tell me that there is more shit weather—”
“I was calling to inform you that the weather has cleared up and it should be safe for you and Corlette to begin traveling by 10 which happens to be the check-out time for the hotel the two of you are staying in.”
Right, he and Corlette have to leave and go back to the monastery, no longer alone together, “Thanks Zane, I’ll call you when we are on the road.”
“You’re welcome,” Zane replied, before hanging up.
Corlette groaned into Lloyd's chest, “Who was that?’ she asked.
“Zane, we can leave soon,” Lloyd answered.
She went to get up and gathered what little things they had so they could leave yet she was pulled back into Lloyd’s chest, “I said soon, not now,” he complained.
“I understand that but—” Her attempt to protest is silenced by his lips.
“I should have gotten myself kidnapped a month ago if it would end like this,” Corlette joked against his lips before kissing him again.
“No, I should have told you I love you from the start,” Lloyd retorted, “More maybe we should have just been caught in the rain.”
Corlette giggled playing with his hair, “It’s going to be hard to get peace like this when we get back.”
“We could always come back here if we are able,” Lloyd remarked.
“I like that idea, just not when it’s a horrible downpour.”
“Agreed.”
KAISBWNKWOSAKAHX7HENW OWIXJWNWKDOUWBW NWKWISIDHWJOSIDJENWBJWJSIIDIW AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA PLEASE TELL ME MORE, I LOVE THIS SO MUCH 👀 🙏 😍 ❤️
Tumblr media
After half a deca-phase, Blitzwing had enough and attempted to snatch the headphones off Bumblebee's helm, but Bumblebee was much faster than a large clunky bot like Blitzwing. He moved out of the way. Easily. Blitzwing demanded the headphones. Bumblebee simply climbed up to the larger bot's head before placing the headphones over Blitzwing's helm. Blitzwing hadn't noticed before, but Bumblebee was not as ugly as he remembered...
After stealing a ship. Blitzwing quickly grew incredibly uncomfortable, wasn't the yellow one the one that NEVER stopped talking? Now he hasn't so much as said a peep. Bumblebee just silently piloted the ship... he knew how to pilot a ship right?
It didn't help that he had picked up some ridiculous creepy mask, Blitzwing couldn't even read his expression. Stoic. Plain. Blank empty face. Blitzwing ripped off Bumblebee's mask, he claimed it was unfair that the puny Autobot got to hide his expression while he was forced to show them at all times. Bumblebee didn't seem to care. He put on a pair of headphones and continued piloting. Still silence. Forcing Blitzy to once again sit in more awkward silence.
Some time passed and at some point, Bumblebee connected the ship's teletraan to another ship's... a familiar ship. Blitzwing looked up at the ship's main screen. The Death's Head.
Before he knew it, Blitzwing found himself following a re-masked Bumblebee aboard Lockdown's ship. He couldn't remember the last time he was there, much had changed. It was rare to be invited onboard. The small yellow bot simply held up Pharma's picture and pointed to it. Lockdown laughed and told him, he'd have to give a lot more than just credits for giving up info on Pharma. Even Lockdown was uneasy around that so-called doctor.
In exchange for the information, Lockdown wanted them to do a few jobs for him. He said he'd even throw in some upgrades to sweeten the deal. Blitzwing felt Bumblebee looking at him through his mask. Somehow. He could just tell what the yellow bot wanted to say.
"Fine."
Back On Cybertron
The fake Bumblebee had an empty smile on his face. Sentinel Prime nervously kept the fake close, as he was completely terrified as to was Optimus would do to him if he found out that Bumblebee was not only gone - but... cloned? Or what that green bot would do, the big clumsy one. Perhaps crush him under a building. Or maybe the techno-organic "Sari" will call her rumored army of acid-spitting snakes.
The fake was less durable than an ordinary bot. Sentinel forced Wheeljack to fix him frequently and not say anything. Orders from Acting Magnus could not be refused. Wheeljack hesitantly agreed, but soon regretted it once Sentinel explained the entire situation. Wheeljack needed a drink. Especially with Ratchet starting to ask questions. He knows Optimus' team is suspicious, it's only a matter of time before they all start asking questions.
Oh also that ninja bot is back, Sentinel thought he was offline. Weird.
Hello may I ask if u can do Morro headcanon
*clasps hands* CAN YOU??? oh get ready for this i have sm to say
• for starters, morro wu is the name they go by!! the very first time sensei wu heard morro refer to himself with it he cried so hard
• morro is nonbinary, going mostly by they/them and he/him pronouns, but if you used she/her or anything of the like they wouldn't mind :)
• biromantic and greysexual!! can you tell im projecting yet?
moving onto my purely personal stuff:
• they play violin!! they picked it up after coming back to life. the wind responds to the song their playing. its a beautiful sight
• morro %100 needs glasses. do they get them?? no
• his gi's now associated more with the color yellow. he wanted to move away from green, and yellows pretty (and one of the few gi colors not taken already)
• cats!!! they love cats so much!!!!!! feeds all the strays. they love him
• the once green stripe in their hair is now grey, and they have a ghost scar across their left cheek, reaching all the way to their chin
• 100% was forced to read starfarer bc of jay and lloyd. he says he hates it (he ADORES it)
• they wear skirts and dresses when they feel like it!! clothes they can feel their element in? fuck yeah!!!
ok now done with the personal headcanons, onto more specific stuff :)
• in my 'morro is revived/redeemed/he just stays like we all wanted him to' au he does not move in directly with the ninja, instead living higher up in the mountains, in a small town southeast of Ninjago city. they feel at peace there, up in their element, away from most modern technology.
- both he and the ninja liked this decision more, while wu did not, but I'll get into their individual dynamics more later
-he doesnt really talk to anyone from the village, but anytime he goes to buy supplies and stuff he tries his best to give money and food to the homeless he passes. especially children.
-the children of the village therefore deem him a myth, some tell ghost stories of him, and others call him a good luck charm. morro thinks this is adorable, really, and plays into it; giving vague fortunes everytime a kid points him out.
• the ninja and wu definitely come to visit him sometimes too, and no matter how many times they do so morro's always suprised they care. the first time lloyd came to visit them on his own they were so astonished for like the next month
• whenever there's a world-threatening villain present and they need his aid, it is painstakingly obvious. they normally come to him all chill, but whenever they need help they come to him like akward in-laws.
- *sliding inside their door* "heyyy morro-"
- *exhausted sigh* "what is it now? another giant snake???"
NOW speaking of his relationship with the ninja
• this is a vv common headcanon, but morro and cole would become friends the fastest i think. oh? you were a ghost too? you like food?? quiet and prefers to not be in social situations??? hey bestie
- bonus thing: morro hasn't heard of cake because they were first an orphan/homeless, and when they were adopted by wu they were too focused on getting their body in perfect condition to eat sweets. therefore, a conversation between them has most definitely happened like this:
- "hey, morro, im craving sweets, wanna go get some cake?"
- *genuinely confused* "whats cake?"
- "..."
- "cole???"
- "oh you poor sweet summer child"
- tldr; out of kai, zane, jay, nya, and cole, morro and cole get along the best!!
• i think morro and jay would get along mostly by jay being the one who informs him of modern technology. y'know, teaching him about it. morro flipped his lid the second he learned what a microwave was.
- i also think jay brings out his inner sassy side. they have a lot of nicknames for each other.
- oh also also you know how nya can move ice if she tries hard enough? jay can just barely move wind, same goes for morro with lightning. they definitely use each others powers responsibly
- (jay almost caused a minature tornado once and morro made a week long power outage. they don't speak of those things)
- tldr; morro feels rather relaxed around jay. even if he takes a lot of their energy, its not too hard for them to get along. they would probably cause doomsday if left alone together for too long tho
• morro and zane!! or as I like to call it; therapist friend to therapist friend
- while untrusting of morro for a while, Zane was able to connect with them by seeing their walls come down
- i think morro would go to zane to vent if need be, hes a great listener. same goes vice-versa.
- both wind and ice are very reactive to their weilders emotions, so like it or not, these two have to bottle up their feelings sometimes for the safety of others
- thats why they work so well together, actually. fire, earth, lighting, and water arent as emotionally reliant. and we're getting 2 energy
- whenever zane is over and makes food morro will steal some or get thrown out the kitchen trying
- tldr; their friendship is very (heh) chill
• kai and morro!! aka 'i don't like you very much but we have the common interest of protecting lloyd to make up for past mistakes so ig ill tolerate you'
- unstable relationship!! they bicker the most, lloyd mostly being the peacekeeper
- they have their moments tho
- i think kai would've found morro in a vulnerable state once, like crying or having a panic attack or something, and he just sat next to him and held his hand
- they both refuse to acknowledge that happend, but they were nicer to each other after it
- they don't get along very well mostly to kai holding a grudge, but morro doesn't blame him. they haven't completely forgiven themselves, either
• morro and nya. dictionary definition of 'its complicated'
- can they get along and work together? yes, surprisingly so. do they WANT to? nah
- even though hes human again, morros still highkey-lowkey scared of nya. its the ptsd innit
- thats why nyas so compliant with him in the first place, bc even though she holds almost a big a grude towards them as her brother, she sees morros use
- i do think they made a small storm once though, using their powers. just out of boredom. it was beautiful
• and last but most certainly not least: disaster cousins! i cant fit these two's entire journey together in this one post, but I'll highlight the most important bits
- loyd was terrified that morro survived the drowning of the Preeminent, so he was immensely relieved that morro wasnt staying with them
- the first time they saw each other after styxx shit was so akward. they were left alone in a room together for 5 seconds and they hated it
- lloyd never wanted a verbal apology from morro, saying that the only way they could probably get forgiveness is through action
- only got close to morro after he proved himself through his actions. i mean, after helping them and Ninjago many times, lloyd couldn't say he hated them anymore
- the first time lloyd visited on his own with the intention to just, like, hang out; morro broke. mf bluescreened. thought he was hallucinating for a solid 20 minutes.
- they play video games together and read comics and the like.
- they rarely do anything like sparring tbh. whenever they're together they let their inner children come out
- lloyd: *bringing out a coloring book and crayons* "hey I know we're like in our early 20's but-"
- morro: *snatching them* "y e s"
- Morro's EXTREMELY overprotective to compensate for what hes done. lloyd doesn't stop them, he knows it makes them feel less guilt, but it does get a liiitle overbearing sometimes
- wu bawled once he learned they were getting along, the hardest he cried in a while
- tldr; these two mean SO MUCH TO ME
do i have more? oh, yes, many. am i stopping? yes, sadly. i don't want peoples Tumblr to crash once they see this post.
Not rlly a hc but *holds out evil Kai from s4* opinionsv 😳
TLDR; evil kai is cool but kai is too much of a good person for me to invest in it!
FULL OPINION BELOW
Ultimate respect goes out to Kai and  Kai fans. Kai is ABSOLUTELY done dirty. End of debate. And I feel horrible for Kai fans because any evil kai moments in the show is DEFINATELY a symptom of writing random things for shock and NOT foreshadowing. Especially because the new writers don’t seem 100% invested in all the old details. They REALLY don’t seem to care about Kai. *rips the writers heads off*
If evil kai is ever REVEALED its either gonna be : A.) At some point he becomes evil because this show will never stop. B.) The writers will see us with our Kai Evil Theories, make it true, claim it was foreshadowed, but it wasn’t really.
Writers may be stupid, but Kai fans are brilliant. And thats my favorite thing about Ninjago. Its reallllyyyy stupiddddd and we can write it better.
But PERSONALLY, I can’t invest in most evil kai fanfic / fan art because I feel like Kai is a very selfless person. He would never betray his friends for something that only benefits himself, imo. I get it, he DESERVES to have a self centered moment and to let that unresolved anger out, but it feels like backwards character development TO ME.
If Kai becomes evil only due to evil possession or something, its like... fine? But its like... just an aesthetic and doesn’t really mean anything so, its mid to me.
In my headcanon, Kai is naturally a protector and supportive person. In Season 1, they become obsessive over being the best because they don’t recognize that they're already valuable enough to the people around them. They’re paranoid that they need to be better for others. They’re a perfectionist in friendship and ability, and their anger is how they react to any minor failure. The whole “All my training wasn’t to BE the green ninja, it was to PROTECT the green ninja :)” thing basically affirms who they actually want to be. Post season 1 I think Kai becomes a lot more confident.
I DO KINDA have ONE evil Kai headcanon tho!  Yknow how the Ninja don’t know about Elemental Masters until Season 4? A lot of people figure “that was because of bad writing. they probably did know before.” Well I like to imagine they didn’t know because... I think it would be epic if after Zane died, Kai started questioning this whole ninja situation. They don’t want another person to die from it. They need to understand whats going on. Rather than becoming an underground fighter like in canon, Kai starts searching for information on people with elemental powers between S3 and S4. And Kai would even do unethical things like break into museums and archives (too impatient to go through the long process of getting access to the information). Hehe. A little evil! Kai would probably also beat up people for information O_O kinda a vigilante?
This would be a much smoother introduction to the concept of Elemental Masters, and would REALLY support the fact that Kai wants information on their parents besides the superficial “they are ur parents so u probably care.” PLUS!!! Kai could even meet SKYLOR for the first time while investigating EMs. Maybe Skylor was doing Chen’s dirty work, figuring out the identity of all the current EMs, so the two encountered each other? Kai falls in love with this mysterious figure who steals information before they can.  Did that make any sense? Heres a random sketch of Kai I found
Tumblr media
godspeed kai fans! *salute*
sasusaku month 2020 days 12 & 15 - gimme shelter // recovery
title: her dear friend
summary: Set after their mission at Redaku – Sasuke and Sakura are finally going back home after their latest discovery when they’re surprised by a storm. She’s worried about her best friend, and he knows he has to do something before she puts herself at risk.
a/n: So, if you’re tired of seeing Sasuke caring for Sakura, this story is definitely not for you. I had this idea a while ago and of course I used it as an excuse to re-read Sasuke Retsuden (everything can be an excuse for that XD). I had initially planned to post this for the SasuSaku Month, but life happened and... Well, enough of me, I hope you enjoy this one, and if you want, I would love to hear your opinion on it!
(also, this is un-beta’d. Please, go easy on me)
.
.
.
Redaku continued to prove itself as a strange land even now that they were just a couple of miles away from the border with the Fire Country. Dark clouds had been announcing a storm ever since they left the Tataru Astronomy Research Institute— or at least what was left of it—  and even if there were still a couple of hours left of sun-light, the forest where they were had been enveloped by a shady atmosphere. Birds were coiled up inside their nests and squirrels hid in tree-trunks as an ominous wind swept the leaves beneath their feet.
All the signs around them indicated that Mother nature was about to unleash her fury, and neither of them wanted to be out in the clear when that happened. Even if they were in a hurry to return home with the new info they had gathered regarding Naruto’s condition, they knew better than to defy the natural forces.
For the storm was due to any moment now, they decided that it would be better to deviate from their original route so they could seek shelter in a safe place. It sure took them a while, especially because they didn’t really know the area, but eventually, Sasuke managed to spot an empty cavern. It was damp, cold and filled with bats; but it would have to do for the time.
It was not like they had any better options.
As soon as they verified the cave to make sure it was safe, his wife was the one who used her fists to gather some dry wood, and by the time he had started the fire with his fire jutsu, the downpour began. It had been years since he had last seen a storm so destructive and powerful like that, and for the moment, he was just glad to have found a place where they could stay.
They had fire to keep them warm, enough food and water for the night, and—well— they also each other so they wouldn’t feel lonely. All they had to do now was wait.
However, for his wife, waiting seemed to be a lot harder than facing the storm.
Once they had settled inside the cave, the male Uchiha couldn’t help but notice how restless the pinkette was. While he was calmly sitting by the fire, she was standing up, pacing around and looking outside. Her arms were crossed across her chest, and he had already lost count of how many times she had already sighed or cursed the heavens for the rain outside.
Sakura was pissed, he could tell. Her shoulders looked tense and she had barely said a word ever since they were forced to stop. He knew she wanted to go home as fast as possible, and being stuck inside a cave had certainly not been part of their plans when setting the fastest route home earlier that day. More than anyone, he knows how much she hates the unforeseen, and at that moment, of all times, anything slightly different from their original plan was enough to give her a huge headache.
They needed her back in Konoha. Naruto was slowly getting worse, and even if they hadn’t really found the cure in their mission, they had found new and relevant information that could lead to something— anything, really. Ever since the blond had fallen ill, she had been on the edge, reading countless medical books and ancient scrolls, looking for a cure or at least a way to slow down its progression. She might have found a thing or two during the many nights she has spent up, but it was still not enough.
Naruto was still sick at the end of each day, and the only difference now was the she wasn’t by his side. And even if she knew that what they had done in Redaku was also very important, he knew better than to believe she wasn’t bothered by the fact that she was miles away from Konoha.
In fact, the guilt of being away was slowly eating her alive, and if she continued to put herself under so much pressure, it would be just a matter of time before she had a mental breakdown.
He had to do something. Just like in the past, he would have to take care of her so she could take care of the others.
“Sakura.” He started, his voice soft as her name rolled out of his tongue. “It's no use. You know the storm won’t just stop because you’re glaring at it. Come sit by the fire.”
“Don’t even try. You and I know I don’t want to sit.”
“So are you just gonna stand there all night?”
“Maybe I will, so what?” She turned to him, her hands balling into annoyed fists as her voice came out an octave louder. She forcefully closed her eyes for a second, then, sighing exasperatedly before her stiffened expression melted into a worried one. ”I’m sorry, Sasuke-kun. I just…I just want to go home.”
He knew she didn’t mean to sound rude. It was just the stress getting the best of her, and even if he hated to see her like that, Sasuke knew there was nothing he could do to solve her problem at that moment. For he was still feeling a bit drained after what had happened at the Astronomy Institute, he knew he didn’t have enough power to use his Susano’o all the way back to the village, and anything other than that would be useless— irresponsible, even.
There was really no way out of that situation.
Still, it was not like their friend was facing an imminent threat at that moment. Even if he really was getting worse, all of his vital parameters were stable and the progression of the disease didn’t seem to be so fast that his condition would suddenly become life-threatening. A day or two wouldn’t make any difference, both Shizune and Shikamaru granted that in a letter they had sent on the previous day.
Naruto would still be okay by the time they got home. And however logical that sounded, it would never be enough to calm her poor heart.
“I know you do.” He said, his voice offering her some sort of comfort. “But we both know we can’t do anything right now. Not with this storm out there.”
“But…but don’t you think we should take the risk?” She spoke, her green eyes now looking at him with a serious expression. “We have experience in field missions, and if we are careful, we can escape the storm. It will save at least a day of journey.”
His eyes widened at her statement, and it worried him to listen to her talking like that. She was actually serious about that— serious about walking aimlessly in search of a new way back home in the middle of the pouring rain. It was possible to see that her thoughts were now clouded by her sense of guilt, as she was clearly considering putting herself at risk out there just so they could try to arrive a day earlier or two.
 Sakura was acting recklessly. And he had to stop her before she did something stupid.
“We’re not going anywhere in the middle of the storm. It’s not worth the risk.”
“What? Why not?”
“What do you mean why not? Tch, you know very well how hard it is to move in such terrible conditions. It’s dark, we don’t know the area and the storm is too strong.”
“I-I know it’s dangerous, but this is an emergency, right?”
“It's not an emergency yet. They said his condition is stable and we still have time to get back to Konoha.”
“They don’t know for how long it will be stable, Sasuke-kun. It might get worse.”
“You don’t know that, Sakura. This is just speculation.”
“Of course it is. We don’t know anything about this stupid disease.” She started, her voice now growing irritated. “He might as well be better by the time we arrive, but he also might drop dead before we get the chance to use what we’ve discovered in Redaku.”
“Hn.” He nodded in acceptance, closing his eyes. “I guess we will just have to wait and see, then.”
“Wait and see?” She said, turning to face him. He watched as her green eyes were now glaring at him with vivid fire, and at that moment, he suddenly remembered how intimidating his wife could be. “Are you perhaps suggesting that we should just bet on his life? He is the Hokage.”
As he watched the pinkette growing angry at his words, Sasuke realized that, apart from his efforts, she had finally lost it. She was now using their official positions at the village as an excuse to her behavior, and though she has always respected the shinobi hierarchy, that was probably the first time he ever heard her calling Naruto 'Hokage' when they were just the two of them in the room. His words had been completely misunderstood by her, and at that moment, even if she wasn’t really using words to describe it, he knew exactly what was going through her head.
Sakura was angry. Truly and inexorably angry.
Guilt was taking over every fiber of her heart and even if she knew it wasn’t her fault that Naruto was sick, she was blaming herself for not being there by his side. It was not like she didn’t trust the people back in Konoha to take care of him, but she knew she was the only one really capable for a job that has always been hers.
Whenever one of them needs her, she’s there. Whenever they’re sick, she finds the cure. That has been the ultimate rule of her life as a medical ninja, and even if they’re all grown ups now, it was still hard for her to let go of that motherly part of hers.
She has always been overprotective towards them. She has always tried her best to make sure they were both safe, and after marrying the Uchiha— much to her husband’s surprise— she grew even more worried about the blond. Perhaps it was the fear of losing her bonds with him or even the fact that they were each other’s closest fraternal connection, but whenever Naruto ended up at the hospital, she wouldn’t sleep until he was feeling better.
They’re too close. They have always been, especially after all of the time that were just the two of them. They’ve shared memories, promises and dreams; and it would be impossible for her to just ignore all that and not worry about him. It was stronger than her, and fighting against that would be useless.
He couldn’t change that part of hers even if he tried to. All he could do was make sure it didn’t hurt her like it was hurting at that moment.
Sasuke stood up, then, his heart beating as calmly as before. He knew better than to be mad at her for letting her feelings rule her thoughts, especially when his own emotions almost made him destroy Konoha. Just like all the times when she has showed him compassion during his times of pure rage, he owed her the same kind of reciprocity.
His wife deserved to be heard, and for she has always been more technical than him, he knew she would eventually give in to reasoning if he presented it to her in a way she could understand.
His feet slowly took him closer to her until his body was towering over hers. For she has never been the kind to be intimidated by anyone, Sakura kept glaring at him with the same intensity as before. He was holding a serious expression, and his voice didn’t change when he started his speech. “Stop pretending you care about the Hokage.”
His mismatched eyes watched as her expression changed. Her eyes widened, her lips parted, and slowly, she grew even angrier at him. “What did you say?” He could tell she was really mad at him, and if he didn’t choose his words correctly, chances were she would end up beating him to dust.
“I told you to stop pretending you care about the Hokage, Sakura. If you really want to go out there in the storm, at least be a little more honest about your reasons.”
“How dare you say something like that to my face? After everything I did and after leaving my daughter alone so I could help you gather new information, are you really saying I don’t care?”
“Aah.” He confirmed, his voice still as calm as before.
“Screw you, Sasuke.” She said, finally looking away from him. “I'm going. With or without you." At that moment, he realized he had driven her to the edge, and that was the right time to act on their problem.
That was the only way he could ever talk some sense into his wife. And even if he could end up with a broken rib or two, he figured it would be better than letting her get hurt.
She was fast to take her backpack from the ground, and as she was making her way towards the exit of the cave, Sasuke took a deep breath before giving her a decent answer. “At least admit why you’re leaving.” At his words, she stopped in her tracks, turning one more time to glare at him. Sakura opened her mouth to talk, but before she had the chance, he continued. “At least admit that you’re doing this for your best friend. Admit that him being the Hokage has nothing to do with this.”
Her eyes widened once more, and he watched as she bit her lower lip before balling her hands into fists. “Stop with your silly games. You know it makes absolutely no difference right now.”
“Of course it does.”
“Oh, and do you care to explain how?” She crossed her arms across her chest, her legs now slightly parted as a sign that she was standing her ground.
“You wouldn’t be acting like that if Kakashi was the one sick.”
“Bullshit. You know I would–”
“You wouldn’t.” He said, firmly, and he realized she was taken aback because of his words. At that moment, he used that opportunity to get closer to her. “If the one sick wasn’t that idiot, we both know you would be a lot calmer right now. It has nothing to do with his position as the Hokage. It never had.”
“Tch, and so what, Sasuke-kun?! Am I that wrong for caring?” She started, her eyes now tearing up. At last, his wife was admitting the truth to herself and it was relieving to see the walls she had built around herself crumbling down. If he wanted to help her— and he certainly did— he needed to be able to reach her first. ”What if I really am worried about my best friend? He’s sick, okay!? He’s sick and I have no fucking idea of what’s happening with him! I’m scared that something bad might happen and I won’t even be there by his side. And though I know there are very capable people back home, I don’t know if any of them would go far enough to keep him alive like I would!”
Her arms were now embracing her own body, making her seem smaller than she really is. She was bitting her lower lip, and even if it hurt him to see his wife like that, unfortunately, it was the only way he knew to calm her down. Thanks to that depraved shinobi system they grew up in, it was only natural for her to keep it all to herself. According to that system, her fears, her thoughts and her emotions meant nothing in times of crises, and there was no reason to prioritize them over their mission or their Hokage. She’s a medical ninja, trained to heal and not alarm those around her, even if it meant she would be haunted by her own secrets for the rest of her life.
No wonder why the previous generations of shinobi suffered so much. More than anyone, he knew how destructive emotions can be when they’re kept inside for too long, and he was not going to let her go through that kind of suffering.
Sakura had to let it all out. That was what Naruto would tell her if he was there. That was what he has always fought to protect.
And now that she did, it was time for her to pull herself together. He has seen her doing it before, and for she is this brave woman, he knew she could do it again. She just needed to be reminded of that.
“Sakura, look at me.”
“Leave me alone, Sasuke-kun.”
“I'm serious.” He said, placing his hand on her shoulder. “Look at me.”
Though she refused to do as he said at first, her worried eyes eventually gave in to her husband’s words. Her cheeks were puffed in anger, her eyes were turning red due to the unshed tears and he could see that her teeth had already left their mark on her rosy lips. His wife was sad, but it was inevitable for him to think about how beautiful she was, as her true colors oozed from her every pore.
“Let me go to him.” She said, her voice low, almost as if she was begging him.
“I can’t do this. I can’t let you risk yourself out there.”
“Why not?”
“Because you’re his only hope, Sakura.”
“What?” Her eyes widened in surprise, and her lips went agape. She was certainly not expecting those words, and he knew he had to take advantage of her state of bewilderment to tell her the one thing she needed to hear.
“Just think about it. You are the only one who can actually save Naruto. Shikamaru, Kakashi and I can search for things that are related to his condition, but you are the only one who can actually do something about it. You will put all the pieces together and you will find a cure, I’m sure of it.”
“What if you’re wrong? What if I can’t do anything and he dies before we get the chance to get to him?”
“I'm not wrong.” He said, his voice powerful and with no hint of doubt. “I know you can do it. We all know it, and that includes that idiot. He understands why you had to leave, and right now, he’s also doing his best to make sure you have all the time you need. He’s not going to die, Sakura.”
“How can you be so sure?”
“I’m not.” He said, his voice soft and delicate as he spoke to her. “But I trust him. He’s strong and he’s too stubborn to lose before using his best weapon.” His hand moved, then, slowly climbing up to her neck until he was cupping her left cheek. He brushed his thumb against her soft skin, and he offered her a tender smile before continuing. “And right now, his best weapon is you, Sakura.”
At his words, a delicate silence took over them as he simply watched as she made peace with her mind. Knowing his wife like he did, Sasuke knew she was probably thinking about a million ways to refute his arguments, but thankfully, she didn’t seem to be finding any. He felt as she allowed her head to rest against his palm, and she carefully placed her own hands over his as if to indicate she was welcoming the comfort he was offering her. She closed her eyes after that, letting go of all the tension that was taking over her shoulders, and he sighed in relief after that.
“You're right.” She nodded, slowly, as she opened her green eyes to face him. “He's strong and…he’s gonna make it.”
“I’m sure he will.”
“It’s gonna be hard, but I have to trust Naruto on this.” She giggled, finally moving her head away from his hand so she could wipe a tear that had dared to fall. “Shannarou, when did he become such a dependable adult?”
“Hn, he didn’t. Don’t forget that Kurama is the one doing it all for him.”
“Yeah, that’s the only possible explanation.” She blinked, tugging a strand of her hair behind her ear. “Thank you for helping me see things through.”
“No need to thank me. You already knew everything I said.“ He reassured her, their eyes still connected. "You were just a bit confused because of your maternal instincts towards that Dobe.”
A chuckled escaped her lips at his words, and slowly, a smile was decorating her face. It was good to see her like that again. "I guess you’re right. “ She said, scratching the back of her head. “I should probably start worrying more about my husband, don’t you think?”
“I wouldn’t mind that.” He started, turning away so he could walk back to where they had placed their belongings. The night was getting colder because of the storm, he was tired, and after all of that commotion, he just wanted to sit by the fire with his wife. “Now come. It’s been a long day and we need to rest for tomorrow."
“You’re right.” She agreed, instinctively following his steps. “Help me heat the water, then. I’ll make us some tea to keep us warm.”
“Aah.”
And so, after the raging thunder in her heart dissipated, the Uchiha couple could finally settle down by the fire. The water she had collected from the rain was now boiling inside an old kettle with some herbs, and while they waited for their tea to be ready, both Sasuke and Sakura sat next to each other, finally sharing a moment of peace. Her back was pressed against his chest, her head lingered near his chin and he could feel the way her muscles were relaxed against him. The sound of the rain outside felt like a serene symphony, invading his ears and allowing his heart to beat slower.
In a couple of hours, he knew they would both be up and back on their way back home, and perhaps, they would have to face some challenges. The near future seemed to have a lot of uncertainties that they would have to deal with, but for the moment, he figured he could let himself rest while enjoying his wife company.
He really had missed her, after all.
With that in mind, Sasuke closed his eyes and took a deep, calming breath. Her sweet scent invaded his nostrils, and slowly, he could feel his thoughts disappearing one by one, until it was just them, the fire and the rain.
the end
Jason Todd x Avengers Crossover
Unexpected (part 2)
Two days have passed since Clint was saved by Jason. And for some reason, he still can't get the vigilante out of his mind.
Natasha teased him about it but he knows that if she sees Jason in action, she would be intrigued as well.
The way he fought was mesmerizing. Every bullet that was shot was so precisely aimed that the wounds weren't deadly.
Sure it knocked them out, but they weren't gonna die.
That form of marksmanship was only earned through years of hard work. And Clint's worked with Bucky enough times to know that Jason somehow predicted the next move of the attackers, aiming at the non-lethal body parts.
He has a feeling that Bucky and Jason would make an incredible duo.
Which is why he needs them to meet.
Clint doesn't usually do this but the more he thought about the bucket-wearing vigilante, the higher his list of questions got.
He took out his phone, leaning against the couch as he searched for the man that saved him.
vigilante wearing red bucket
He scrolled through google trying to find a decent article on the guy.
After thirty whole minutes of barely finding information, Clint wanted to throw his phone across the room. So far, all he's figured out was that Jason's territory was in Gotham and that his vigilante name is 'Red Hood'.
Which was... creative in a way?
At least it wasn't 'Red Bucket' or 'Bucket Head' or anything like that. It was definitely better than 'Green Arrow'.
After another failed search, he decided to finally give up. There was nothing about Red Hood. All the articles were mainly about Batman, Nightwing, a restaurant place, and a Robin!
He groaned and put his face in his hands. He doesn't care about those overrated heroes, he wants to find out more about Red Hood.
The guy was so cool... he wonders why there were barely any pieces written about him. The few sentences that he's read about the vigilante almost always depicted him in a bad light.
Which was honestly unfair.
He stared at his phone, contemplating on whether or not he should ask Natasha.
On the positive side, he knows that the assassin would have information on Red Hood. Natasha has information on everyone.
But...
Clint didn't want Natasha to tease him even more! If she keeps up with the sarcastic comments then the other Avengers would be curious. And curious Avengers meant nosy people.
He felt himself shiver, really nosy people.
He swears that if he had a sister— older or younger, they would act exactly like how Natasha was acting right now.
He could practically imagine the smirk she was wearing on her face when she picked up.
"Hey, Clint." she casually greeted, "How are you?"
He refrained from gritting his teeth, "I'm doing good." he paused, eyes closing as he took a breath in, this hurt to admit. "I need your help."
"I know."
"What do you know about the Red Hood?"
"The Red Hood?" she hummed under her breath, "Let's see."
Clint heard her moving things around, then he could distinctly hear the noise of paper being flipped. "Do you just have documents of random vigilantes lying around your room?" he couldn't help but ask. "Is this an assassin thing?"
Does Bucky do this too?
"I'm getting you the information you need." she reminded, "How I keep track of the data I have is none of your business."
"Okay, okay." he surrendered, a smile making its way onto his face. "But why don't you just keep it on a computer? Wouldn't that make things easier for you?"
She ignored his question, "Red Hood is an excellent marksman," she stated. "He made his debut as a crime lord by showing a bunch of people a duffel bag filled with the heads of notorious criminals."
Clint let out a whistle, "That is an intense introduction. He's even better than I thought he would be."
"Yeah," Natasha agreed. "He's easily one of the most dangerous and capable vigilantes in Gotham. In a matter of months, he's managed to bring crime down Crime Alley by at least fifty percent. Something that Batman himself, couldn't do. His methods were vicious, but they worked. Extremely well. He's killed a lot of child molesters, human traffickers, and rapists."
Even though Natasha couldn't see him, he tilted his head to the side, biting the inside of his cheek. Clint could care less about what methods Jason used. If they worked, they worked. And it's not like those criminals didn't deserve it. It's just-
Killing takes a lot out of you. Especially when you're young. Clint would know.
He had no doubt in his head that Jason was an incredible fighter. Not to mention that he was also huge— in both height and muscle.
He can see why he has a majority of Gotham fooled.
But, for about a minute, after they won against the ninjas, Jason removed his helmet in order to get a breath of fresh air.
A mask might've been covering his eyes, but Clint's been in the vigilante business for years now. He remembers clear as day, just how young the vigilante looked under the sun.
When Clint first started, he was thankful that he had Natasha to talk to whenever things got hard. Whenever he felt guilty for taking someone's life. No matter how much they deserved it.
Hell, he's still thankful for Natasha now. Without her, Clint would probably be dead. His body found bleeding out in an abandoned area, a neat row of scars on his thighs and arms.
He hopes that Jason has a friend like Natasha. Someone who'd be there for him no matter what. Someone who'd remind him that he was worth it. That he was loved.
Cause if not, then there is no way that the kid is okay.
Natasha's sharp voice interrupted his thoughts, "That was a few years ago. As far as I know, he doesn't kill anymore. The farthest that Hood would go now would be to permanently cripple someone. And even then, he would only do that when the person did something unforgivable."
After a few seconds of silence, Clint opened his mouth. "Is that it?" he couldn't help but question.
"Nope," Natasha admitted. "But it's all I'm willing to tell you."
"Fine then," he smirked. "Keep your assassiny secrets. I got more than I expected anyways."
"What did you get yourself into, Clint? Why all the sudden interest in him? Why all the sudden interest in a vigilante in Gotham?"
He knows that Natasha was just looking out for him. She was worried. "Do you remember a few days ago when I was saved by this Jason guy?" he asked.
"Yeah? You've been talking about him nonstop. He saved your ass and you gave him your number." she paused before adding, "Your private one."
He nodded, "Yeah. Well, he's the Red Hood."
"You're kidding."
"Nope. I searched him up and he had the same costume and everything."
"And he actually said that his name was Jason?"
"Yep." he tried to casually say, "It's probably cause Jason's a popular name and stuff."
"Maybe." Natasha hesitantly agreed, "But anyway, since you gave him your number, I think you should know that I've always wanted to meet him so if he texts you soon..."
Her voice trailed off and Clint couldn't hold in his sigh, "Yeah, yeah. I'll arrange a meet-up or whatever."
Her voice automatically brightened, "Actually?"
The corner of his mouth lifted, "Sure. But I wanted to introduce him to Bucky first."
Natasha made a shocked sound of betrayal, "Wha- but Clint!" she whined, "I'm the one who's asking. Not him."
"I know."
It took everything in him to stop the laugh from escaping his mouth.
Complaints about how unfair Clint was being made their way onto his ears and he relished each and every one of them. It wasn't often that he had something Natasha wanted.
Revenge was sweet.
After a few minutes, he let out an incredibly fake gasp. "Sorry, Natasha. I gotta go. I have a kitchen emergency."
"What the fuck, Clint." she demanded, "You don't even know how to cook. Remember the omelet incident? What emerg-"
He hung up.
Clint's definitely going to regret ending the call later. He knows it.
But right now, he could care less.
He has something Natasha wants, so she won't murder him.
... hopefully.
He hopes that he runs into the vigilante soon. Jason was cool and pretty fun to talk to. Clint definitely won't mind fighting at Red Hood's side once more.
They worked really well together.
While they were fighting, he knew that Jason was gonna have his back. He knew that Jason wasn't gonna let him get hurt. It was weird, considering that was the first encounter he's ever had with him.
He doesn't know when Jason is gonna decide to use his number, but he hopes that it'll be soon.
He has questions. And whenever Jason was ready, Clint hopes that he can answer.
Starting with the one that's been clouding his head; why did the Red Hood stop killing?
notes:
okay, I didn’t expect to write a chapter this soon. but reading all the comments you guys left on the previous chapter motivated me. to be honest, I didn’t expect this fanfic to get as many hits as it did.
I don’t know when I’m planning on posting this chapter but right now, my goal is to write as much as I can.
I also don’t know exactly how busy my sophomore year of high school will be, but I feel like it’s better to be safe than sorry. Especially if I make the school volleyball team.
I finished writing this chapter on August 8th, and I have tryouts on the 9th through the 11th from 4-6 pm. (wish me luck!)
like always, please, please, please, leave a comment. i love reading them and they just motivate me so much! Whenever I get author’s block, I just re-read them and they help so, so much. If you don’t wanna leave a comment, that’s fine. If you liked this fanfic, please hit that kudos button though.
and if you just wanna chat or if you want to request any ideas or prompts, just message me here.
ooh, and if there’s anything specific you want to read in this series, please tell me. It never hurts to have any extra ideas. plus, I really want to make this fic more enjoyable for everyone.
First Love / Late Spring
Five times Kai asks Cole to marry him, and the one time Cole (sort of) says yes.
a/n: word count- 3322, tw- mentions of injury
1  (in their first year of friendship)
Kai Smith was not a professional blacksmith.
Say what you will about his weapon-making and metallurgy abilities, but unlike his parents, he lacked proper training and technique; he supposed that was why Sensei had him spending the day hunched over the furnace, practicing crafting weapons. The fire ninja couldn’t complain too much, though, since a certain earth ninja was also instructed to accompany him during his practice.
Kai ceased hammering whatever it was he was trying to make and frowned. What was supposed to be a chain on a nunchuck looked...nothing of the sort.
“Cole Brookestone,” he offered up said metal band to his friend, “will you marry me?”
A barely fifteen-year-old Cole put his hand to his chest and gasped. “I- I don’t know what to say,” he smiled, “I’m honored, truly.”
Kai slipped the dingy, ring-shaped metal onto his finger and smiled, feeling his face warm and his stomach swoop.
“Unfortunately, I am going to have to decline,” Cole said solemnly.
“What? Why?”
Cole laughed. “Your execution was lousy and informal.” He inspected Kai’s homemade ring on his finger as the fire ninja scrambled to his feet.
“It was perfect, I got on one knee and everything,” Kai sighed, a smile still remaining on his face. “But If you’re gonna reject me, I want my ring back.”
Cole held his hand with the ring close to his chest, laughing again in the same way that made Kai’s face burn. “No way. This is mine now.”
Kai jumped, reaching for the ring, only for Cole to dodge. Despite his youth, the earth ninja was still considerably larger than Kai, so a little game of keep away was no trouble. Still, he let the red ninja continue to play this game.
“But you rejected me! It’s mine!” Kai pounced again, this time landing a hit on Cole’s chest, prying his hands apart.
“I rejected you, not the ring!” Cole cried in between giggles.
Kai wrapped his hand around Cole’s waist and pulled him close, still wrestling to get the ring from his finger, even though he knew it was futile. “Me and the ring are a package deal,” he scowled, a shimmer in his eye.
Cole picked Kai up, tossing him over his shoulder with ease. Kai could feel Cole’s back tense as he began carrying him out of the little blacksmith’s shop, laughing so hard he’s nearly in tears.
“Fine!” Kai half shouted, half laughed after a few moments of playful struggle, relaxing against Cole’s shoulder. “I give up! The ring was ugly anyway.”
Cole set Kai down, a triumphant grin on his face. “Yeah, it was ugly. I like it.”
2 (post mortem)
Kai stood at Cole’s closed door, unsure of whether to knock or not.
Not one person had gotten a wink of sleep since returning from Yang’s temple, especially Cole- though that was probably because he didn’t need sleep now.
Of all the things that could have gone wrong at the temple, why this?
Kai sucked in a breath and knocked on Cole’s closed door. A soft “come in” sounded, though it had a ghastly and fazed edge to it.
“Hey,” was all he said, pushing his way into the familiar room.
Cole was just sitting (hovering?) on his bed, blankly staring at nothing in particular. He hummed in acknowledgment.
“I was, uh,” the fire ninja rubbed the back of his neck, stumbling on his words. Cole would know what to say in a situation like this if any other teammate had been turned into a ghost, but all the things Kai wanted to say stopped at his tongue, like a barrier was holding them back. “I was just checking in.”
“I’m fine.”
FSM, what a liar. Even Kai wasn’t dense enough to fall for that.
“I mean, you can talk to me about it, you know?” Kai made his way from the door to the little space beside the earth ninja on the bed.
As he sat down, a chill ran up his spine. The air around the new ghost was cold and illuminated by soft green light that was produced by Cole’s new form-- it was weird, seeing someone Kai had always looked up to as strong and indomitable seem so fragile and weak.
“I know. I’m fine. Thanks for checking,” Cole turned his face away from Kai.
Kai sighed, making an attempt to put his hands onto Cole’s, to no avail. When Kai’s warm hands phased right through the earth ninja’s, he flinched.
“Please talk to me,” Kai said softly, failing to add because I need to hear your voice.
There was a beat of silence. When Cole didn’t respond, the red ninja tried again. He shifted his body to face more openly towards Cole, who was still staring off into the space just beyond the floor.
“Can you make yourself solid?”
“No.”
Kai felt a little part of himself die when he heard those words. He shifted closer to Cole cautiously and cleared his throat. “Can you try for me?”
Now, Cole looked up and met the fire ninja’s eyes. His face was smaller than normal, eyes drawn wide into a scared expression that took Kai aback.
The ghost forced a small smile. “I already have tried, Kai, it’s no use,” his voice was muted. “I can’t hold anything and I can’t feel anything and-”
“Try for me now, okay?”
For a moment, it seemed as if Cole was going to protest, but he quickly shut his mouth and instead nodded weakly. Kai stood and rummaged around his room for something small that Cole could hold.
Cole was an organized person, but he didn’t really have many trinkets lying around that would work. He was organized and was not a compulsive hoarder, and it was in times like these when those two qualities were not good things.
Kai thumbed through the drawers of Cole’s nightstand, looking for a rock, a pencil, or anything, before his eyes landed on a small shiny ring.
Well, maybe calling it a “ring” was subjective.
Kai held up the small metal band he had made while he was supposed to be practicing blacksmithing almost two years ago, showing it to Cole.
“You kept this?” he asked, surprised.
Once again, the black ninja gave a small nod.
Kai felt his stomach turn as light as a feather and a blush creep into his cheeks. “But--it’s the ugliest thing I’ve ever seen in my life,” Kai laughed, moving closer to Cole. “Why did you keep it?”
“I wouldn’t throw away a ring my fiance gave me.”
The fire ninja remembered the conversation he had with Cole that day in the blacksmith, when Kai had fake-but-not-really-fake proposed to Cole with this ugly ring that wasn’t even supposed to be a ring.
Kai was a much better smith now than he was two years ago.
“Hold out your hand and concentrate,” Kai ordered. Cole extended his hand and closed his eyes shut.
When Kai slipped the band onto Cole’s finger and let go, the ring stayed in place. The ghost opened his eyes slowly, curiously looking at his hand, as if checking to make sure it was still attached. When he saw that the ring was still on his finger, he smiled.
“Kai, I feel it.”
“Well, now you have to marry me,” Kai said with a click of his tongue.
Cole laughed, and this time it was genuine.
3 (but it was forgotten)
“It just doesn’t make any sense,” Kai shook his head. “Why Nya?”
“Cause she looks like some other chick named Delara? I dunno,” Cole sighed. “Maybe you should wish for Nadakhan to marry you instead.”
Kai leaned against Cole’s shoulder, sticking out his bottom lip way too far for the pout to be real. Cole just rolled his eyes, making himself corporeal to accommodate the fire ninja putting all of his weight on to the ghostly earth ninja.
The Bounty’s room was completely empty save for the two of them sitting at the table, and Cole was silently thankful for that; it was pretty par for the course for Kai to be all over people, but if Jay knew that Cole wasn’t directly opposing Kai’s clinginess, the lightning ninja would never let him live it down.
“Maybe you have a point,” Kai smirked, now sitting upright. “Who wouldn’t wanna marry me? I’m awesome, I’m funny, I’m--”
A hand flew over Kai’s mouth, silencing the fire ninja. Cole glared hard at him though a grin remained on his lips.
“I’m literally begging you to shut up. It was a joke.” Cole slowly retracted his hand from the now silent Kai.
The fire ninja waited for just a moment, letting his eyes meet Cole’s, before whispering under his breath “I’m really hot…”
“Oh, shut up!”
In a swift motion, Cole had Kai pinned to the ground, knocking over multiple chairs in the process-- but just as soon as the ghost was solid enough to tackle Kai, he phased through him.
In all fairness, it took a lot of concentration just to let Kai lean on his shoulder. He was pretty exhausted from that.
The two dissolved into laughter, then both helping each other stand, tidying up the knocked over chairs.
Kai stopped laughing, turning to face Cole. “I mean, if you were Nadakhan, would you rather marry me or Nya?”
“Nya. No questions asked.”
“Didn’t even hesitate? I’m hurt,” Kai held his hands to his heart. He pretended to be injured for just a moment longer, before asking, “Okay, what if you were just yourself? Would you rather marry me or Nya?”
Cole looked to the ground. If ghosts could blush, he would have.
“I’ll think about it.”
After the events of the following days, neither would remember this conversation.
4 (unrequited)
Kai sat in a chair in the medical bay, bent over with his hands resting on his knees. He bounced his leg to keep himself distracted from the overall disaster that had been that day.
He supposed he was supposed to be happy- his sister just got engaged- what?- and the team had defeated the Oni. It was supposed to be a good day.
But Lloyd had literally died and came back to life and Cole was unconscious after collapsing halfway through the final battle in the medical bay because he fell off of the Bounty. Kai made note that Cole should not have survived, and yet somehow, he did.
So, really, Kai should have been happy; but he was barely hanging on by a thread that was a second away from snapping.
“You missed it,” he told Cole’s unresponsive body. Massive bruises etched their way across his chest and up his neck from his fall.
“Jay asked Nya to be his yang, so, uh, I guess they’re gonna get married,” Kai said under his breath, releasing a deep exhale. He cupped his face in his hands. “I’m happy for them, I guess.”
Truthfully, Kai was. This was his sister and his best friend, and they loved each other, so honestly it was just a matter of time before they got married.
It just felt so wrong to celebrate when one of their teammates was on death’s door.
Zane had told him that Cole was going to be fine. There would be a recovery process, but he was going to live. Still, Kai found himself spending every moment after the final battle with Cole, making sure that he was still breathing and his heart was still beating. Zane had also told him that Cole wasn’t going to go anywhere anytime soon and that he needed to quit being so worried.
With the way he’s acting right now, maybe Kai should have been the one to propose today.
He laughed inwardly, before telling Cole, “If you asked me to marry you right now, I’d say yes.”
His eyes settled on the earth ninja’s closed ones. “Could you imagine? You marrying me instead of Nya marrying Jay?”
Kai hoped Cole would wake up and say something-- he didn’t.
The fire ninja stood from his chair, walking over to the stretcher. He grabbed Cole’s wrist, feeling the pulse, a small reminder that the black ninja was still here. “I can’t marry you if you stay knocked out, though,” he said, tone controlled and steady. “Wake up soon, okay?”
When Cole remained motionless on the stretcher, Kai knew he would not get any response.
5 (sweater weather)
“Kai.”
There was a shiver instead of a response.
“Kai, look,” Cole called again, tugging at Kai’s coat sleeve. He pointed to a coffee shop just down the block with a giant sign on its front that read “SALE.”
“Hm?” Kai hummed, looking in the direction Cole was pointing.
It was a known fact that Kai absolutely despised cold weather. He liked looking at snow, but that was about it. He hated the way it felt, he hated the way it made everything slippery, and he really hated the way it was cold. He was the fire ninja; cold weather didn’t like him and he didn’t care for it much either.
So why in the world he agreed when Cole asked him if he wanted to go walk around town when it was barely 30 degrees fahrenheit and snowing was beyond him, but love works in mysterious ways.
“Do you wanna go get hot coffee? This place is having a sale, too,” Cole said. He looked at the sale sign, then to the door of the shop.
“Oh FSM, yes,” Kai said. He pushed past Cole and into the warm building, not bothering to look at the sign.
Kai hated snow, but maybe it would be bearable if he had Cole by his side and coffee in his hand.
The ninja household was divided when it came to coffee versus tea. They were supposed to like tea, and FSM forbid Wu ever learn that Kai, Cole, and Lloyd prefer coffee to tea. Nya and Zane liked tea.
Jay liked coffee, but he was not allowed to have it anymore following the incident.
Cole knew Kai’s coffee order by heart--medium caramel macchiato with an extra shot of espresso and caramel drizzle-- but his own order changed day to day. More often than not he ordered straight black coffee. Kai liked to joke that it matched his personality, even though it wasn’t true.
Kai watched as the nindroid barista made her way over to two of them and silently thought about how mad Zane would be right now if he knew what the two of them were up to.
Cole ordered for the two of them, then watched as the barista rang up both of their drinks at full price.
“Wait,” Kai interrupted, gaining the nindroid’s attention. “Isn’t there supposed to be a sale?”
The barista laughed. “It’s a couples discount,” she explained, eyeing the two ninja, “so, uh, unless you two married, then your total is $5.99.”
The two ninja glanced at each other, a smile growing on their faces.
“Cole, marry me right now,” Kai said.
Cole stifled a laugh. “In your dreams,” he rolled his eyes. “Unless…?”
The barista smiled and covered her mouth with a robotic hand. “Just for brightening my day, I’m going to give you the discount, bringing your total to $4.20,” she laughed.
Maybe Kai didn’t totally hate cold weather.
+1 (first love / late spring)
Cole was so frustratingly well-spoken.
He was infuriatingly good at saying things. Hell, he could be talking about puppies dying and make it sound like a rhetorical masterpiece. Kai always figured that his natural way with words probably had something to do with Lou being a songwriter, and Cole just being a natural born leader in general.
Kai was not that well spoken, despite what he may tell the others, but at least he was able to talk about his emotions (unlike a certain black ninja).
And that’s normally how their conversations went. Kai would talk about his feelings and Cole would deflect talking about his own and instead formulate some elaborate response to help the red ninja with his issues.
It took Kai by surprise one late spring night when, as the pair was sitting by the pond just outside the monastery, Cole said something weird and vulnerable.
“Do you think you’ll ever be able to have a really normal life?” He waved his hand, facing Kai. “I know that a normal life by societal standards is kind of...unattainable, because we’re ninja, but do you know what I mean?”
“I think so,” Kai said. Warm spring breeze made the water lap at the shore, where the two sat. He stared off into the distance, past Cole, maybe at the pond or maybe he was looking at the tall trees just behind the pond.
“I mean, like, I never really had a normal life, I guess, but I really want normal parts of life,” he rubbed the back of his neck. He really wasn’t sure where Cole was going with this.
He saw Cole’s eyes light up and the black ninja touched his hand in a way that made Kai’s stomach turn to butterflies.
“Yes! That’s what I mean!”
Cole saw Kai’s momentary confusion and elaborated. “I know my life won’t ever be normal but I want normal aspects of life. I want to fall in love, I want to travel, I want to do all these things,” he looked to Kai then back to the water. “We were kinda forced into an adult life when we were just kids,” he said. “It doesn’t feel fair. I mean, Lloyd’s just a tall child.”
Kai picked at the small flowers blooming in the grass where they sat--he was still caught up on the first thing Cole said about falling in love.
“I get it,” Kai said. “I want to fall in love too. And also have a normal life.” He mostly wanted Cole to keep talking.
Kai gathered the flowers in his hand and looked to Cole. He liked the way the moon reflected in his gray eyes, and he liked the way his faint green scar was still visible in the night.
Cole laughed and looked Kai in the eyes.
“You’re one to talk about love, you’ve already fallen for someone.”
For a moment, he fire ninja panicked. How did Cole know? To be fair, he had been pretty direct about Cole marrying him more than once, and Cole was smart…
But oh FSM, did Cole know? Oh fuck.
“With Skylor,” Cole eyed him. “Don’t you remember?”
Thank the First Master.
Kai relaxed. “I wasn’t in love with Skylor, I think I just thought I was. I was in love with someone else.”
Cole smiled fondly, looking at the flowers in Kai’s hands. “Yeah, me too.”
There was a beat of silence as both ninja processed what the other had said. Kai was the first to break the silence, asking, “Well, who was your first love, then?”
The black ninja looked at him for a moment as Kai held his breath.
Please don’t say you love me.
“I think,” Cole paused. “I think it was you.”
Kai felt himself melt, but not because of any fire he could have made or any late spring heat. He felt the sense of normalcy he and Cole had just talked about. He felt himself really in love with Cole Brookestone.
He had been direct before and he was going to be direct again. “I love you too. Like, really. I have for as long as we have been friends.”
“Really?”
“Yeah.”
He laughed nervously, and then reused the same old joke he had used when he first realized he was in love with Cole, in the blacksmith during their first year of friendship.
“Cole, will you marry me?”
Cole had a glitter in his eye and a soft smile on his face. “Maybe take me out to dinner first?”
“Only if I can call it a date.”
The earth ninja smiled and wrapped his hand around Kai’s. “Deal.”
I was hit with the need to just talk about Pidges. And of course, I’ll go the route of talking about DotU, VF, and VLD Pidges! What exactly am I talking about? I guess thoughts, ideas, feelings, whatever. And talking about them just being a flock of dumbasses.  Keep in mind, while I’ve watched VLD numerous times, I have only seen VF and DotU once each. But, they’re always on my mind.
Voltron: Defender of the Universe
Tumblr media
A fine example of a dumbass Pidge, and I mean that in the best of ways. I’m not calling him that because he’s not a genius like VF and VLD, but because this is a lad who is a little extremely chaotic.  He’s a bundle of energy and chaos. Did anyone give this boy weapons? I don’t really think so. I think he just found or stole them in most cases and pretty much said “Mine now!”. Remember the grenade? He was ready to blow himself up for the sake of Allura. Honey, please, we love you. Don’t blow yourself up!  What he lacks in intellect, he makes up for in eagerness and energy. And of course cuteness. This little idiot may seem eager to die for the sake of his loved ones, but at least he’s trying.  And he’s young. Perhaps when he grows up (I know, technically, to some degree, he is also VF Pidge, but things still differ, especially when my mind is at work), he’ll mellow out. A bit. He’d be less self-destructive, but he’d still be protective of his team and found family. And who knows, maybe he’d pick up on some technological skills and learn with that, too. Then he’d really be unstoppable.  Now someone, please wrap this boy up in bubble wrap and duct tape, keep him safe.
Notes:  Age: 12 (according to research) Alternative name: Shorty (from GoLion; I like using it for Realities Collide)
Voltron Force (2011)
Tumblr media
Ah, the genius ninja dumbass. What’s not to love about this guy? Still the smallest (dude, the cadets are kids, and they’re taller than you! That’s adorable and amusing. Then again, by the time I ten, I was probably taller than you, too.). This guys is a genius. Quick to come up with new bits of technology as well as balancing his time with music and his ninja skills. However, he’s a bit of a mess, but that’s fine, too. No one is perfect. Imperfections are what makes people great. How is this lad a mess? He keeps updating so much, no one can keep up. He really needs to make a “Understanding Pidge tech for dummies” book or something to leave. I mean, they left contact information on the fridge, why not leave a book to understand things, too?  Now then, let’s give this lad some space to show off some cool ninja tricks or to take a well deserved rest. Get him some cocoa, hold the marshmallows.
Notes:  Age: 24 (whether it’s canon or not, I don’t care, I’m going with it) Alternative name: Darrell
Voltron: Legendary Defender
Tumblr media
And finally, the adaptable dumbass.  Don’t get me wrong, like Darrell, she’s pretty much a genius. But I will be honest, she may not be as intelligent as Darrell. Not to say she won’t be or even surpass him, but still. However, she may seem more so than her VF counterpart because, in my opinion and what I notice, she’s extremely adaptable. Galra tech? She adapts and hacks into it. Altean tech? She knows how to integrate it into different things without even learning from the Olkari. Olkari tech? She understood it with ease and was able to interface with their tech when her team failed. This is a lass who is just thrown into a war and she just pretty much says “Oh, tech, I can work with this.”  But, like the other two, she’s a dumbass. She gets so caught up in things and rambles, infodumps, or, oftentimes worse, gets a one track mind that could be bad for the team. That last one is especially noted when she’s ready to leave the team to find her dad and brother. At least she’s considerate and planned on leaving the green lion and got a pod ready. But if she did leave, things would have gone bad. And it doesn’t always help that she’s stubborn, sometimes that makes things worse. But her stubbornness can also be good.  Admittedly, it seems that she also sucks at social skills. She insults others or just straight up infodumps. But she does work best with computers than people. And she’s young. She’s bound to grow out of it and learn.  For now, let her grow and find herself, find her family, and find an alternative to peanut butter because this child needs peanut butter cookies.
Notes:  Age: 15 Alternative name: Katie
Realities Collide
I couldn’t leave out a Realities Collide situation with all three of them. Because I love the idea of the trio of Pidges interacting.  I’ll be honest, Darrell would definitely be the big brother/parent in looking after Shorty and Katie. While at times he’d probably submit to their chaos and have fun, too, other times he would be stressing out over them. “Who gave this baby grenades?” “Katie, quit hacking into technology that we shouldn’t.” “No, you two cannot build a cannon and launch Shorty from it at Lotor’s castle!” But when they settle down for rest, they’re sweet and adorable. If anything happens to the two, he’d kill everyone in the room and then take them out for milkshakes. Shorty is protective. That much is known. And while he’d try to keep Darrell safe, too, I feel like he’d be super protective over Katie. And probably not because in such AU, I like utilizing blind au Pidge. She’s like an older sister, a sister he’s probably always wanted. And ignoring the fact that he actually said he had a kid sister back home, Anyway.... He wouldn’t want anything happening to her. He would also be in awe, watching his counterparts work, especially if they take the time to explain what they’re doing so he could understand.  Katie may not have the same skills, intellect, and training as Darrell, but in her defense, she’s still learning, Darrell’s had time to adjust and learn. But she does well and adapts, and she’s probably happy to see the other Pidges as her brothers. From working on tech with Darrell to teaching Shorty to even just playing, she’d get along fairly well. She’d also do her part in defending them. She’d probably get hurt like Shorty, but she’d try to think her way through it more like Darrell.  Overall, these three would make a good team. Work hard, defend the universe, then wind down to snacks and movies and go to bed.
In writing these, at least in my mind, Katie feels like a blend of Shorty and Darrell. She’s a feisty, determined, and chaotic like Shorty but brilliant and pretty much a genius like Darrell. It’s actually kinda cute.
Anyway! I hope y’all enjoy the thoughts of the flock of dumbass Pidges.  Until next time!
As Brooke walked through the airport she was glad to finally be able to stretch her legs. She had never been that good at flying so now it was over at least she could take a breath and somewhat relax. To the world she looked like a confident twenty one year old exploring the world but inside she felt like the scared little eight year old she once was.
Finally after scanning the arrivals hall she saw a couple holding a sign with her name written on. It took her a second to start walking towards them but as she did she felt a sense of familiarity about them, like she had met them in a past life. Taking a deep breath she pushed the feelings aside, smiling at them as she walked closer.
“Brooke right?” The woman smiled softly at her.
“Yeah that’s me” Brooke nodded as the guy took her suitcase from her.
“I’m Chris and this is my wife Laura” he smiled.
They quickly sensed that Brooke wasn’t in the mood for talking as they walked through the airport.
Tumblr media
The drive to her new home was quiet, which she was grateful for, all she wanted to do was eat and take a nap. It had been a long flight, but she had a feeling that she wouldn’t be able to get a nap for a while.
Looking out the window she watched the trees and scenery as she headed to her new home. Soon enough the car came to a stop at a large set of metal gates. This was it, this would be home for who knows how long. She watched as Chris spoke to the guys guarding the gate. Pulling her headphones out she paused her music to listen to what they were saying but it was all in whispers so she gave up. The sound of a familiar rumble in the distance caught her attention. She knew that sound anywhere. As they drove into the property Brooke was shocked this place was huge, there were bikes racing about and a lot of fit guys. Maybe this place wouldn’t be so bad after all.
Once the car was parked she climbed out of the car, stretching her back, feeling the soothing of her bones cracking.
“Come on, first stop is meeting the president” Chris said as he hauled her suitcases out of the car.
“Is this some kind of democracy? Like you have your own President” Brooke said raising her eyebrow. Where the hell as she.
“All will come clear” Chris laughed holding his lighter out to light Brooke’s cigarette as well as his own “I have a feeling you are going to fit in perfectly”
Soon enough they were standing in a room that looked like an office, Brooke looked around seeing all of the pictures lining the white walls. Wherever she was, it looked like a big family.
"Prez this is Brooke her family sent her to live with me and Laura" Chris said nodding at the blonde who smiled, awkwardly waving a small wave as two more guys appeared.
One of them definitely caught her attention, and she couldn’t help but smirk. His golden hair, bright blue eyes and bulging muscles covered in tattoos. He was definitely a god and definitely Brooke’s type. Maybe this wouldn’t be so bad living here with the eye candy she thought. Before mentaly scolding herself for practically drooling over the blonde god.
She was in a complete world of her own so she didn’t realise that the other guy was staring at her rather intently.
“Urm mate take a photo it lasts longer” she sassed “in fact scratch that I don’t know what the hell you would do with it.” All the guy could do was smirk which annoyed her.
“I mean the sass is there” he chuckled as he studied her face a bit harder. “Wait, it can’t be. Please tell me this isn’t a joke”
“Urm” Brooke said, extremely confused as everyone stared at her. To make matters more confusing everything and everyone seemed so familiar. Like she had been here before. There was something about this place that felt like home.
“Please tell me you actually brought her home” the dark haired guy said on the verge of tears.
"sorry don't know what you are on but I've never been here in my life" Brooke snapped as she fiddled with her lighter in her pocket.
“Yeah it’s definitely her Bro” Blonde god grinned.
“Can someone just tell me what the fuck is going on” Brooke huffed. She always hated being kept in the dark. Before she could process what was going on she the air was squeezed out of her in a bone crushing hug.
“I think you need to take a seat as we have some things to explain” Blonde god said, the power that radiated off him made Brooke want to submit to his every word. “Where have you been all this time?”
“Long story short, living in London, like causing trouble. Caused said trouble and my adopted parents sent me to live here and now I’m hella confused and I don’t like it” Brooke said as she played with her thumb ring, the one this she always did when she was nervous.
Around two hours had passed and Brooke learned that the dark haired guy was James, her older brother and blondie was Xavier. She was part of this family before she was kidnapped when she was around eight. Which tallied up with all her memories of the foster homes and that time she didn’t like to think about let alone mention. Every question or piece of information the boys have her made her head spin even more. She had so many questions but had no idea where to start. Whether it was from the confusion or lack of sleep she felt her eyes get heavy before everything went black.
The lads watched as Brooke’s knees gave way, without a second though Xavier was by her side wrapping his arms around her waist so she didn’t crash onto the floor. Adjusting his grip he laid her on the sofa that was in the office. He couldn’t take his eyes off her. The last time her saw her she was the shortest sassiest little eight year old known to man. He was honestly speechless as the woman laid in front of him.
“I can’t believe it’s her” he mumbled as he ran his hand through his hair. “I didn’t think we’d see her again” he took in her features but a couple of things caught his eye as her jacket slipped off her shoulder revealing some nasty scars, most of which looked like burns apart from the six inch scar that was definitely from a knife. Anger ran through his veins as his blood boiled, this was his bumble bee and he was ready to find the bastard that did this to her and make him pay for laying his hands on the girl.
“Xav” James called “now isn’t the time to be thinking about revenge okay, we need to take things slow this is a lot to take in”
“Yeah you are right” Xav sighed, pushing himself to his feet. Before walking out of the office, he needed some air.
“Xavier please tell me my eyes aren’t deceiving me and that was actually Brooke I saw go into your fathers office” hi mum smiled.
“Yeah mom it is” Xavier nodded.
“And you aren’t happy about that no?” She said softly knowing the internal battle her son was having.
“I couldn’t protect her mom” he sighed not making eye contact as his mind filled with the events of that day “that day was the worse day ever, I told her I wouldn’t let anything happen to her but I didn’t follow her and she’s been through god knows what”
It was Brooke’s eight birthday party, the compound was buzzing with excitement, as they were getting everything set up for the princess of the club.
Xavier barged into Brooke’s room to find her sitting on her bed colouring some unicorn.
"Bumble you wanna to come down to the pool with me and James" Xavier grinned watching her green eyes light up causing her to drop her crayon.
"get out of my room then you big oaf" she giggled trying to push him out of the room.
Xavier grinned even though he was 5 years older, everyone knew he would do anything for Brooke, their bond was like no other and she always went to him is she was upset or needed a cuddle after having a bad dream. Within five minutes he felt a small hand grab his before being pulled towards the pool.
“Last one there smells” Brooke shouted already running off, with her panda bear safely tucked under her arms, before reaching the edge of the pool, dropping the panda on the lounge chari and jumping into the water, not wasting any time.
The hours passed and the place was filled with giggles as the three of them messed about in the pool, until Brooke was growing tired and climbed out of the water.
"I'm going to go for a walk" she grinned pulling her dress over her wet bathing suit and grabbed her panda.the bear she took everywhere since Xavier won it at the fair for her last year.
"OK B stay where we can see you" James smiled as he tackled Xavier dunking him under the water.
After about 20 minutes that’s when there was an ear piercing scream that could be heard around the compound making everyone freeze. That was Brooke’s scream. The boys clambered out of the pool so fast running over to where the scream came from but they couldn’t see anything and were soon ordered by their fathers to go wait in the clubhouse.
Xavier sighed as the memory replaced in his mind.
“I should have followed her, I should have been there to protect her. I broke my promise to her” he said blinking back the tears that had formed.
"Hey you didn't know son" his dad said putting his hand on his son's shoulders.
"The thing is she doesn't even remember us, that’s what’s killing me more than anything, she doesn’t remember her family” Xavier snapped as the tears threatened to fall. "I'm going on a ride" He muttered leaving the room. He needed to clear my head, he was future president of the Blackstar Mc and he couldn’t let people see him like this. See him so weak.
One thing caught his eye as he stood on the main steps to the club house. A perfectly white kawasaki ninja pulled up the drive but he didn’t recognise the bike nor the number plate. He was so caught up over the bike he didn’t even realise that James was now by his side.
"Xav we need to talk" James said. Xavier knew what this was going to be about. "I'm talking to you as my best friend and not how a future vp would to his future prez right" he said running his hand through his hair.
"Ok bro fire away" Xavier nodded, sparking his smoke.
"I know how much you are tearing up right now, but we all are. We just found Brooke after so many years” James said “but I know that look Xav, that’s your I want this girl to be mine look”
“I can’t help it” Xavier sighed.
"I know bro, I know" James sighed "I just want to say I am fine with you being with her and couldn't think of a better person to be with her, but please protect her and don't freak her out because there are a lot of things we are going to have to explain to her." Xavier knew where James was coming from at the end of the day she was his blood.
A MC Surprise
Since you’ve been taking care of his plants while he’s away on missions, he’s given you a key to his place. Not even Minor or Eli have that privilege. He trusts you to be in his sanctuary. Trusts you to not be too curious and go through his stuff unlike a certain person who shall be nameless but somehow they’re still friends… No, it’s not Eli.
 Thanks to having a friendship with Eli, you have an ally willing to help you within reason. He has informed you they’ve been working on a case, and that is why Gavin hasn’t been at his home or contacting you lately. It’s an urgent and confidential mission so you understand when Eli can’t give you the specifics of it though he tells you the hardest and most dangerous part has been finished. They’re wrapping things up.
 Since Gavin has been working hard, you decide to put your culinary lessons to good use and make him a home made meal… using his own kitchen. Considering the last time you visited, you stop by the grocery store before you head over to his place. You thank whatever deity there’s a market close to his place as you don’t think you can carry it the entire way there, and you want to keep this a surprise. Eli will warn you when he can’t stop Gavin from heading back to his place.
 Seeing as he trusts you, you ensure you don’t lose the keys by having it hang on a necklace around your neck. You use it to unlock the door. Inside two birds greet you from their respective cages. After you close and lock the door, you head over to their cages to pet each of them. Pearly coos at you while Zappy, being the little imp they are, insists on being scritches. You decide to humor them and give them a few scritches, however, Pearly is feeling left out so you give him some too.
 Once you decide they’ve had enough, you head into the kitchen and start emptying your bags. You sort them according to the dishes. Anything that needs to be kept chilled is placed in the fridge until you’re ready to use them. However, something catches your attention.
 “Zappy!” You sigh as they’re poking their head into the bag, being very curious. “How did you get out of your cage?” Is Pearly still in his cage? You take a risk and check. At least you only have to worry about one escaped bird.
 “Let’s get you back.”
 Zappy gives you those incredibly cute birdy eyes which melts your heart. “Fine. You can stay, but you better be on good behavior.”
 It seems Zappy understands you, making you wonder how much they understand. That’s for another time when you have time. Better start cooking before he comes home. You want him to come home to a fully cooked home-made dinner.
 With everything organized, you start preparing the vegetable starting with carrots. You move onto the next vegetable. As you’re chopping it, you notice Zappy entertaining themselves by playing with the carrot peels. “You silly bird.” When you pick up a new vegetable, they become interested in it and then goes back to playing with the peels when their curiosity has been satisfied.
 Soup, curry, duck, rice, and a dessert. While you’re standing behind the stove stirring the soup, Zappy uses your shoulder as a perch to get a better view. They snuggle against your neck to which you pet them.  At least they aren’t making a mess and just want to watch what you’re doing.
 Time flies by. Soon Zappy is chirping up a storm. You wonder what has their feathers ruffled before remembering Eli promised to text you when Gavin leaves work. You race over to your phone, which is charging. There are over half a dozen texts. It hits you. You have left it on vibrate as earlier you’ve been on scene doing a shoot.
 With Zappy being this chirpy, it must mean Gavin has arrived. You peek out the window to find him parking Sparky. Hurrying over to your cooking, you attempt to finish it and hopefully you can get it on the table before he opens the door. In your haste, you don’t notice Zappy jumping off your shoulder to assist you by somehow dragging out the necessary silverware and plates.
 After triple checking to make sure they’re done, you’re ready to set the table. That is when you noticed the table already set. You glance over to Zappy who appears to have that smug look… if birds can have one. “I’ll give your reward later on.” They don’t give you any trouble when you put them back into their cage.
 Soon enough, you hear the key being inserted and the lock being unlocked. You race back into the kitchen to pretend you’re not there, however, the smell of dinner is a dead giveaway. Not to mention, you’re wearing the ginkgo bracelet.
 “Something smells good,” Gavin comments as he enters. He’s wearing a huge smile, knowing you’re already there and have prepared him a dinner that he never saw coming. “What’s the occasion?”
 You leave his kitchen. “It’s your reward for all your hard work.”
 Gavin hangs up his coat before embracing you. “Thank you. But I don’t want to trouble you.”
 “How many times must I tell you, you’re no trouble at all, and I wanted to do this,” you mumble against his broad, muscular chest. “You give so selflessly. Why can’t I give you something in return?” You puff your cheeks and pout.
 Gavin chuckles. “You can, and I appreciate everything you do.”
 “Now go wash up.” You shoo him away so you can finish by doing the final touches.
 Humoring you, Gavin heads to his bedroom to get some casual clothes. A couple minutes later, a shower can be heard.
 You squash any naughty thoughts especially ones where water runs down those muscles. Oh great. Better busy yourself before your mind heads in that direction. You place your creations on the table, making sure to give yourself the less spicy curry. When you’re cooking, you make two, one for yourself and one for him. You don’t know how he can withstand such spicy food.
 “Maybe it’s because he’s hot.”
 “Who’s hot?”
 Gavin’s sudden appearance startles you almost causing you to drop the soup. He manages to catch both you and the soup you’ve worked hard to cook. “Sorry.”
 As soon as you calm yourself, you give him a playful slap on his upper arm. “Are you part ninja? I didn’t hear you coming.”
 “Um… no, I can make more noise if you like.” You assure him you’re fine either way. Then Gavin goes back to his original question. “Who is hot?” The way he says it sounds like he wants to give a beating to whoever you think is hot.
 You decide to tease him a little for nearly giving you a heart attack. “Someone we both know. He’s kind and gentle. Helps me and everyone else. Often neglecting himself.”
 Gavin’s frown becomes more and more prominent as you gush over this person who he doesn’t know as himself. “…. As long as he treats you well.”
 “Yes, he treats me well, and I hope one day he will have the courage to ask me on a date.” You bat your eyes at him.
 “If he doesn’t, then he doesn’t know what’s he’s missing out. You’re a good catch.” Gavin pauses. “I’ll beat him up if makes you cry.”
 You press yourself against him. “Does that mean you’ll beat yourself up?”
 “Yes, I will…” It dawns on him who you’re referring to. “Ahem, would you… Um… Can I? Crap, this sounds a lot better in my head.”
 “Yes.”
 “Yes?”
 “Yes, I’d love to go on a date with you.” You answer his unasked question.
 The brightest smile graces his face as he lovingly looks at you. “Thank you.” It seems he can stare at you for a long time without being bored.
 Your stomach has other things in mind. You blush. “Before dinner gets cold.”
 “Of course, can’t let your efforts go to waste. I bet it tastes great,” Gavin comments you on your cooking before he even has a bite.
 Typical of him. You usher him to his usual seat. “Let me know if it’s not spicy enough.”
 “You didn’t try it?”
 You give him that look. “You know I can’t handle spicy.”
 Gavin blushes big time as he recalls your lack of tolerance for spicy. He’s about to tell you to not to make it spicy for him when you cut him off.
 Pointing the serving spoon at him, you prepare to give him a piece of your mind. “You’ve always made sure I enjoy my meals. Why can’t I do the same for you?”
 “Ahem… okay.” Gavin holds up his hands in surrender. He wants to make you happy, but if making him happy makes you happy, then so be it. “Let’s dig in.”
 “Right.”
 The two of you enjoy the meal you’ve painstakingly cooked. Thanks to your friend, your knife skills have improved to the point of you not cutting yourself at all. You talk about what you’ve been up to lately, the latest movies, songs, and whatever crosses either of your minds.
 Then you bring out desserts. “I hope you’ve made space for this.” You made sure to make it not too sweet.
 “Of course.” Gavin thoroughly enjoys the piece you’ve given him. “It’s the best fruit tart I’ve tasted.”
 Your blush will make a tomato green with envy. “I just followed the recipe. Nothing special about it.”
 “It’s special because you made it,” Gavin says in between bites.
 “Just finish your dessert.” Could you get any redder? You have a feeling the answer is yes, and Gavin isn’t even trying. He’s being his honest and genuine self.
 “As you wish.” Gavin finishes his dessert according to your wishes. When you eat yours, he picks up the used plates. Before you can object, he refuses to let you do any of the washing. “Since you cooked dinner, I’ll wash the dishes. You can play with the birds.”
 Okay. It’s been awhile since you’ve really played with them. You head over to where their cages are only to find Zappy has escaped his cage again… “You little escape artist.” You open Pearly’s cage, allowing him to fly out and onto your shoulder. Soon Zappy is on your other shoulder. The two snuggle against you, chirping in content. You sit down before you give them scritches. They love the attention you’re showering on them.
 Minutes later, Gavin joins you and the birds. Did he just take a picture of you? You stare at his cell phone which is in his hands. “This picture is for my eyes only… and yours.”
 Phew. You hope you look good in it given his photography skills. “Do you know you have a little escape artist here?”
 “Zappy broke out again? I swore I put a better lock on his cage.” Gavin turns his attention to the cage. You both look at this bird, wondering how they escape no matter what Gavin tries.
 “Apparently you need to do better,” you chuckle as you pat the empty space next to you on the sofa.
 He complies with your wishes and sits next to you. However, neither birds budge from their perches on your shoulder. Gavin isn’t annoyed as he knows the birds love you too, just not that way. He doesn’t blame them. After all, you’re kind and generous. It helps you sometimes spoil the two whenever you’re there or take care of them.
 “Indeed. You want to watch a movie?”
 You shake your head. “It’s been a long time since we’ve chatted. I want to catch up.”
 “Didn’t we do that over dinner?” Gavin appears to be confused. When you puff up your cheeks, he realizes his mistake and profusely apologizes.
 “I want to get to know you better,” you say as you lean on him, being mindful of Zappy who’s on your right shoulder.
 “What would you like to know?”
 You giggle. “Part of the fun is finding out without asking directly.” He gives you that confused look. “Find out through conversation. Let it happen naturally.”
 “Oh okay. It’s about the journey, not the destination.” Gavin is now on board. You’re on the same page. “So what shall we start with?”
 You start off with a random subject.
Cruisin’
A/N: I’m really glad for my first Leo one shot that someone gave me the basic plot points because honestly writing for Leo is gonna go one of two ways for me, I’m either going to write him super out of character (or base him off of OOTS which might not be the best idea in my opinion) or it will be in character for this type of fic and you guys will like it. But I promise I’ll get better at writing for Leo either way.
Updated A/N: I ended up writing so much for this but I’m so happy with what I wrote even if it is a little out of character. (2979 words)
Leo x female!reader
Requested by: @iamcheese13
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Leo had made a habit of trying to leave without anybody noticing and hoping to god they just assumed he was in his room, meditating. But Donnie had knocked on his door and opened it to see if he was there to only come up empty three times this week. THREE TIMES. It was incredibly unlike the fearless leader to just vanish without telling the rest of his team, his brothers, where he was going. Raph knew how brutal he was whenever he came back from a trip to the surface by himself, it was like Leo was the mother hen but no one knew who would tell him off. Splinter? Yeah but it wasn’t like Leo was actually doing anything wrong.
 Going up to the surface for a breath of fresh air wasn’t against the rules or whatever. It was the part about not telling his family that stuck out. Eventually even April and Casey started to notice that they saw less and less of the blue banded turtle. Suspicions were starting to grow and it just got to the point where they knew they had to follow him. If he was going out almost five times a week? Something was definitely up.
 Following him down to the docks? It was a bit unexpected but it wasn’t like they knew where he was going. Stalking a ninja without being noticed was the hard part, with all the falling behind they did (especially with April and Casey) it was surprising that they hadn’t lost Leo at some point. Watching him walk into an abandoned warehouse was even more sketchy than they thought, so his brothers assumed that he was either being black mailed or he was dealing with crime directly…by himself.
 A couple minutes passed and they saw a young girl, around their age, jump down from a boat and make her way into the warehouse with a bright smile on her face. Raph was having none of it, “What if she’s working for the foot?” he whisper shouted to his accomplices. It was a reasonable question, but as far as the brothers knew, Leo was alone with that girl in there.
 *Leo’s POV*
 I had been meeting up with her for a couple months now, meeting her by accident when I was out by myself one night near the docks. I liked to stare at the water to help me calm down and this was after a particularly nasty fight with Raphael. Next thing I knew, the wooden roof underneath me had gave way and I blacked out. When I woke up she was there, hovering over me and tending to what little wounds I had. She had somehow managed to carry me to her boat and had me resting on her sofa bed.
The way she looked at me wasn’t with fear or hatred, but concern and dare I say kindness. I learnt that her name was Y/N and she had loved the water all her life, when she was a kid she’d tell grown ups she wanted to be a mermaid when she was older. She loves all marine life, she told me turtles were her favorites, which (almost embarrassingly) made me blush. Hopefully I don’t think she noticed.
We became friends and for some reason I wanted to keep her friendship to myself. Which led to the sneaking out, not telling my brothers or my father where I was going, who I was meeting and why I went I meet them so often. You see, Y/N lived by herself, she didn’t have many friends in the city and all she had was her boat and everything on it. I barely fit under the deck so we ended up meeting in a warehouse nearby, it was warmer and had a lot more space.
Seeing her almost every day helped me regain my belief, that what we were doing for the city was worth it. That even when the people we saved ran away screaming, it was okay because they were safe and not everybody was going to be accepting to who we are or what we do. Even if all we did was help from the shadows, at the end of the day it was better than nobody helping at all.
But tonight? I wasn’t expecting things to go differently. I was expecting an easy going conversation with a girl that I considered as my friend…and nothing else! Nope. But no, my family had to step in at some point. I just wasn’t expecting it to be so…awkward.
“So I told her that yes I do live on a boat but that it’s also none of her business!” Y/N was rambling about how her day had went, especially since she’d ran into someone she had known from high school. She had only graduated last year but nonetheless she wasn’t comfortable with people judging how she lived her life. “Good for you.” I chuckled warmly. Watching Y/N talk had slowly became one of my favorite things, maybe it was the way she described things or how she moved as she reenacted scenes but all I did know was that she looked beautiful. Wait, what?
A sharp tone sounded from Y/N’s bag, taking the irritating device out she answered it. “Oh! Hi Mom.” She blushed as she turned to face me, indicating the door she mouthed to me ‘Is it okay if I take this?’. I nodded, as if she had to ask, I knew she didn’t talk to her parents that often so who was I to say she couldn’t take a phone call?
Shooting me a bright smile before she scooted out the door, she gave me a small wave. I was still waving back even after she had closed the door. What was I doing? All we ever did was talk but I found myself wanting…more? God, just having her as my friend was enough and I was grateful for that but it felt like I had known for a long time that I was looking for a lot more than friendship. Maybe this was why I had kept her away from the others?
*Third person POV*
Crawling through one of the many warehouse windows, the others gazed down at Leo. He was alone and looked a bit…sad? Raph couldn’t help but feel like he was right, maybe the girl was working for the foot and had only just revealed it to Leo after he had given her all the information. On the other hand he should probably check in with his brother before jumping the gun, like he had ever done that before? There was something about how Leo was holding himself that made Raph think twice.
Jumping down, the others followed, with Casey falling into a pile of boxes becoming a clear indicator to Leo that he was no longer alone. Shooting up from his makeshift chair (a crate) Leo skittishly met the eyes of his brothers. “Oh-Hey! Hey guys…what’s up?” Blushing all kinds of shades of green, Leonardo internally face palmed at how he handled their arrival.
“What’s up? What’s up! You have been leaving the lair without telling us for months Leo! Months! We’re worried! That’s what’s up!” Raph yelled. He may not have jumped the gun but he still had a right to be angry. “I’ve…I’ve been busy Raph.” He mumbled pathetically, embarrassed. “Busy? How can you be busy? You haven’t got many hobbies besides taking down the foot! So unless you’ve been doing missions by yourself I want to know exactly what you’re doing?! No excuses!” Raph questioned harshly, Donnie and Mikey just looked disappointed with April and Casey awkwardly standing there witness the family argue. Well, one-sidely argue.
“I…met someone.” The leader muttered, hoping it wouldn’t go as badly as it had so far. “Oh you mean that girl? Who is she? Do you even know Leo? She could be working for the bad guys did that even cross your mind?!” The ran banded turtle accused. “She’s my friend and she saved me! If she was our enemy she would have left me! Or she would’ve hurt me by now, she wouldn’t have let it go on for this long!!” He finally snapped, not wanting Raph to turn his anger to Y/N. She didn’t deserve it after all she had done.
“Look bro just because you got a girlfriend doesn’t give you the right to just flake out on us and not tell us.” Mikey rubbed his arm, sad that all of the lying had to lead to this (but realistically how else was it going to turn out). “Mike I never meant for-wait you think she’s my girlfriend?” Leo’s blush returned in full force. The fact that other people saw it too made him think he wasn’t going crazy? “Well she is. Isn’t she?” April perked up.
“Uhhh-” Before Leo had a chance to explain the warehouse door creaked open. “Hey sorry that took so long my mom wanted to tell me about…macarons?” You seemed to question yourself as your eyes met the three other turtle men and two people. “Um…Hi?” You waved awkwardly, making your way over to Leo. “You didn’t tell me there were others like you?” You laid your doe eyes on him and all of a sudden it felt like his legs were made of jelly.
“Um, I didn’t know when to bring it up?” His voice squeaked as he smiled uneasily. “Well anyway, I’m Y/N. It’s nice to meet you!” You beamed as you looked back at the turtles, making eye contact with the one that seemed to be glaring at you. “Huh, I’m sure you’d love for him to tell you everything wouldn’t you?” Raph snarked “Raph don’t.” Donnie finally spoke up. “No, maybe I should because nobody else will, not even Leo! Who’s supposed to be our fearless leader. It’s ridiculous! He’s so distracted he has no idea if she’s gonna stab him in the back or not.” Donatello glared at his brother as he made his argument right in front of you.
“Wait, you think I’m going to betray your trust?” Turning back to Leo, you needed to know if this was true. “My brothers do. I don’t think you would.” You could tell he was being sincere by how he was looking into your eyes. It made you want to melt. “Hey! Don’t group us into Raph’s spiel! We don’t even know her yet. Besides I don’t see why this is so different from when we met April and Casey.” Mikey reasoned. “Mike’s right. I’m April by the way.” She shook your hand, smiling warmly. “I’m Casey.” He introduced by waving behind the reporter.
“And I’m Michelangelo! Leo’s younger brother and the best looking of the group!” He winked as he slung an arm around you. Jealousy flared up in him for a moment, he shoved him off of you. “Sorry about him, he doesn’t know personal space is a thing!” He growled at the orange banded brother. You laughed at the interaction, “I didn’t know they were your brothers! That’s so cool!” Placing a hand on Leo’s arm you watched him calm down at your touch.
“Anyway I’m Donatello, some would say I’m the brains either way I’m far more intelligent than these knuckleheads.” The purple banded turtle quipped before Raph could throw a punch at him. You were still a bit nervous about him, he clearly didn’t trust you and was very protective of Leo and his family. “Don’t worry, if the others are okay, Raph will be too. He just needs time.” It was as if Leo could read your mind. With the amount of time you two had spending together lately, you wouldn’t be surprised if he had picked up on your mannerisms.
*a couple hours later*
“I mean…it wouldn’t be all that bad if Leo brought you by the lair sometime. Maybe even meet master Splinter.” Raph admitted. You’d thought it would take a couple of days, months maybe to earn even a shred of trust. Although the way you treated and held yourself around his brothers convinced him that you didn’t have a malicious bone in your body.
“Thanks Raphael.” You smiled politely, trying your best to not show how tired you really were. The others had called it quits for the night after hanging out for a bit, dawn was almost here and the turtles couldn’t be seen in daylight hours. “I’ll see you all soon, alright?” Patting down your pockets, you started to back away, double checking you hadn’t forgotten anything. “Aw hell yeah! Next time we see you, we’re playing Mario kart ‘kay?” Mikey pointed finger guns at you before bounding away. “Sure!” you giggled.
Donnie nodded, bowing slightly before walking alongside April and Casey who were yawning, leaning against each other. “I’ll walk you back to the boat.” Leo offered, giving you that smile with all the warm feelings behind it. “Thanks.” You grinned back, kicking the snow in your path into the frigid water below. Living at the docks was usually cold, but with Leo around it made you forget how alone you were, how cold reality was. You wish he was around more often but after tonight you realized how much he had given up just to come and see you. Even though what he did was wrong it made you feel…special, like you were special to him.
“Is it true you snuck away from your family just to see me?” Curiosity boiled over, the look on Leo’s face confirmed it. He felt guilty, you know that, but had it been worth it? “Yeah…it’s true. I just, didn’t know how to tell them…how to tell you, I can’t even imagine what master splinter would say if he found out I got knocked out so easily and was rescued by…you.” It seemed a bit back handed the way he had phrased it, like his father wouldn’t like you, but the way he had said it was completely different. His whole demeanor had turned soft and a short walk felt like it lasted an eternity.
When you reached the boat, facing him before saying goodbye, searching for the words you knew you had to say. Leo beat you to it. “I don’t want to make anything awkward between us after tonight. I hope you know that the last couple of months have been really…special, to me. I just want to know if they’ve been special to you too.” He admitted albeit sheepishly. “Of course they have Leonardo. I don’t think I could ever be awkward around you, if anything you calm me down. Even that night when I found you out cold in the shed, I knew I should have been panicking but knowing you needed help, my help, calmed me right down. Somehow I found the strength to get you back.” You let a little laugh, feelings bubbling beneath your words. You just wondered if he felt it too.
“I’m happy to have you in my life and I knew that meant introducing you to my family eventually. I just wasn’t expecting it to be in the form of an interrogation.” You both burst out laughing at that one. Starting to see color in your peripheral vision, you knew the sun was waking up. “Leo tonight was awesome, I don’t mind that you kept your family a secret, for whatever reason. Besides I look forward to beating Mikey at Mario kart.” Chuckling uneasily, you didn’t want to say goodbye, even if you were going to see him the next night. It had become less and less easy as your feelings towards him had grown. He gave you a half smile before stepping forward, the beginnings of sunlight glinting in his eyes. Your heart rate picked up as you realized you were practically chest to chest. “I’ll see you tonight.” He breathed. You could…you wanted to, but was it the right moment? Of course it was, but you could tell he was nervous underneath. His eyes were searching every other part of your fave besides your eyes and…lips. “See you.” You whispered slowly, dragging out the moment.
That was when his eyes met your lips, his head tilted slightly, sun rays creeping dangerously up his skin. All it took was breaking down the last of your resolve and trusting your toes to carry you the rest of the way. It was a brief brushing of lips, eyes meeting before he wrapped his arm around your back, his other hand cupping your cheek. He was surprisingly warm, each kiss told you that, even with your eyes closed you could tell he was smiling. He was buzzing with such happy energy. Wrapping your arms around his head in a prom-esque kind of way, you leaned into him, soaking in all the warmth before he pulled away for air.
You could see the sun rising in the blue, but you knew he was staring at you. “I really wish I didn’t have to go right now. I wish I could stay.” Leaning his forehead on yours, his hands on your hips now. All you could do was smile up at him. “Just think of it as something to look forward to tonight.” You smirked. “Heh, I tried to tell Mikey that I wasn’t ‘cruising’ or whatever but I realized tonight I kind of was.” He flirted back, kind of. “You tell yourself that honor boy, I’m the one who found you in the shed.” You laughed before giving him a gentle push.
“See you.” He pecked your lips again before finally separating from you. “See you then.” Beaming, you stepped onto the boat, watching him jog away with a wide grin on his face. Before you knew it he was out of sight and you were doing a little victory dance.
#11 when one stops the kiss to whisper "I'm sorry, are you sure you-" and they answer by kissing them more
"I'm home." Sasuke announced into a deserted living room and shut the main door behind him. He unwrapped himself of his black cloak and walked deeper into the house to look for a shock of pink hair or one as dark as his he equally missed.
"Sasuke-kun!" Green eyes met his dark ones as he was walking into the kitchen where he was sure he would find his wife. "Welcome back, Sasuke-kun."
Sakura walked up to Sasuke wearing a smile that reached her eyes, both hands, he noticed, kept behind her. He returned her greeting with equal warmth. In the past few years that he was bound in marriage with Sakura, Sasuke has finally learned to muster his own smile – one that reached his charcoal eyes. His feet moved closer towards her, having a mind of their own, bearing the other lesson he learned being a married man – that a travelling husband must give his wife a kiss upon his return. Sasuke hesitated for a moment; his skill as a Supporting Kage urging him to clear the room of innocent eyes that might be wandering around. That's when he saw the cloud coming from the pot on top of the stove.
"You're making something?"
The moment his mind comprehended, his stomach started to grumble. It was only then that Sasuke realized he was so in a hurry to come home that he had forgotten to feed himself.
"Yes." The chirp in Sakura's voice earlier was now gone. "Go rest for a while in the living room. I know you are tired, Sasuke-kun."
Sasuke noticed the change in her features – her shoulders slumped and her bright expression dulled.
Oh, she must be disappointed, he thought. But Sasuke could only allow himself be guided by his wife back into the living room, nudging him at the back with one hand, while he noticed she still kept the other hand behind her, quite suspiciously, if he might add. He finally sat on the couch, as his wife instructed, and waited for something special she promised for his return.
"It won't take long, Sasuke-kun." She informed him, glancing at the wall clock to check the time. "Sarada should be home soon."
She quickly turned around away from him and Sasuke was now certain his wife was hiding something. He caught her free hand as she motioned to walk back into their kitchen, pulling her back with a force that threw her off balance.
"What do you have there in your hand, Sakura?"
And landed on his lap.
Sasuke quickly noticed the sudden change in Sakura: failing to meet his eyes and burning red at their intimate position.
"N-nothing, Sasuke-kun." She lied, hiding away from him whatever it was she was trying so hard for Sasuke not to find.
Sasuke scoffed at his wife forgetting that, just like her, he was a ninja too. In a blur of movement, Sasuke was now in possession of a very familiar soft-bounded book. His eyes rounded in shock, confirming the title – Make-Out Tactics. His mind has yet to wrap itself around the idea when his wife snatched the book from his grasp and lied through her teeth.
"I-I… I confiscated it. The boys… they…" Sasuke pretended to be listening, watching his wife stutter for an excuse. Truth be told, it didn't matter to him whether it was true or not. It shouldn't. They were both adults, now. "Well, the boys… they…"
Sakura kept glancing at him – embarrassed and equally guilty. But Sasuke's eyes never held any judgment, especially, not against Sakura. Never against Sakura. Suddenly, getting lost into his dusky eyes, Sakura realized that it had been awhile since she stared into his deep dark eyes. Once he held her gaze, the Uchiha couple fell into that magical trance, that hypnotic spell where nothing and no one else mattered around them – just Sasuke and Sakura.
And when her gaze drifted down his lips, it occurred to Sakura, it had been a while since she last touched him.
Sakura cupped Sasuke's face, leaned in and claimed the lips she now desperately missed. The kiss tasted the same: his lips as soft and the first touch as warm as the summer that he had stayed at home longer than usual. The way he made her feel when he returns those kisses, it never changed.
Their kisses always started slow, as if they were trying to reorient themselves of each other. Sasuke was always cautious, always considerate about Sakura's feelings, afraid that he might do something she wasn't comfortable with. Worse, he was afraid he would do something to hurt her. Through the years that they both accustomed themselves with each other, to the point that when he was alone in his travels, when the sun sets and he closes his eyes, he could see her – his wife, his Sakura – and remember every single intimate detail of her body – the ones only he was allowed to see. Even after then, he still had those reservations, he still had those fears holding him back until his heart reminds him that this was Sakura, his wife, and the restraints that held him back from fully loving Sakura broke in one full swoop.
Sasuke parted his mouth beneath Sakura's and pushed his tongue between her lips. She moaned against his lips and made that little muffled sound he loved when his own tongue touched hers. Because Sasuke also took a page or two out of that book.
His wife tasted the same – sweet and minty and a tinge of something that was only Sakura – his Sakura. As their kiss turned more urgent, Sasuke started to feel the familiar heat that would propel their passion into something he wouldn't be able to control. With the way his wife was responding to him, Sasuke knew she wouldn't be able to control herself either. He sought her hand, the one caressing his face with so much tenderness, clutching it in his and, mustering all the self-control he had to pull away from the searing kiss, he asked, "I'm sorry, are you sure you–"
But her jade eyes were already clouded by the lust she had been deprived of for those days that he was gone and with that wanting look on her face, Sasuke knew, his wife was past the point of no return.
Sakura shoved him against the back of the couch, shifting in her position to straddle him between her legs and kiss her husband fully and hungrily in the mouth. Sasuke allowed her to take the lead but it didn't mean that the husband had no more tricks up his sleeve. He wanted to make her feel good the way she made him feel good. And Sasuke knew exactly how. He brushed his knuckles against the exposed skin of her stomach and his wife could only take an inward breath from the sensation of his electric touch. She always liked that – his skin teasing her heated flesh. Sasuke continued, grazing his fingertips up to her abdomen and stopped at the bottom of her bra. Sakura reflexively pushed herself up against Sasuke, pushing against his touch.
"S-Sasuke-kun…"
He flattened his hand and pushed it up under the cup of her bra, warming up her naked breast. Sakura gasped, mouth slightly parted while her husband continued biting on her lower lip and kneading on her left breast. Hot skin to hot skin, his brazen actions set her body on fire.
And then, a familiar voice travelled into the room, "I'm home!" and startled Sasuke into jumping off the couch too quickly, dropping his wife on the floor and hitting her head on the table.
"S-S-Sarada!"
"Oh?" Her dark eyes, the same as those round orbs staring stupefied at her. She beamed at her father, greeting him with the warmest smile. "Papa, you're back!"
Her feet started to move towards him when Sakura popped up under the table.
"What's with you, Sasuke-kun?" Sakura was visibly irritated, massaging the back of her head as he glared at her husband, whose face was twisted in an unreadable expression.
"Mama?"
Sakura shuddered, recognizing the small voice. She turned around to confirm that Sarada's class had ended.
"S-Sarada!?"
"What were you doing under the table, Mama?" The young Uchiha inquired, throwing her parents a very suspicious look.
Sakura glanced at her husband, whose face turned white and then into a deep shade of red. So, no help from there.
"I-I was… I was just," Sakura crouched down on the floor, pretending to, "looking for something. I dropped it earlier." She just wished her daughter would buy this little lie.
"You mean this?"
Sakura poked her head above the coffee table to find her little Uchiha dangling the obscene book she threw on the floor earlier in Sarada's hand. Sakura raced across the room and snatched the forbidden book from her daughter, hiding it again behind her, which was useless considering the little Uchiha had probably seen the title already.
"I'll go check on my–Ah! It's burning!" In a split second, Sakura disappeared into the kitchen where the burnt smell was coming from, leaving her husband to deal with the aftermath of one late afternoon of passion.
Saved by the burning smell.
Now, Sasuke… he needed to find his own escape from the questioning eyes of his little peanut.
"I-I… I should help Sakura."
Both parents escaped into the kitchen. The cowards.
"What's up with them?" Sarada asked particularly no one and chalked their odd behavior up to them just being weird parents.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Here are my babies, Asami and Lupa Hamato!
Top picture is Asami, and the bottom picture is Asami at 6-7 years old helping Lupa learn to walk. Included the pictures cus I wanted to give you guys an idea of how they look.
Rise: Hamato Yoshi/Splinter.
Siblings:
Hamato Leonardo
Hamato Raphael
Hamato Donatello
Hamato Michelangelo
Hamato Lupa.
Age during Rise of the Turtles/Things Change/Mystic Mayhem: 20 & 1/2.
Height:
‘12 and ‘03: 5'4.
Rise: 6′3.
Mask color: Silver
Species:
‘12 and ‘03: Mutant red wolf-siberian husky mix.
Rise: Mutant Canadian Timberwolf.
Fur color:
‘12 and ‘03: Rusty Orange/brown/grey.
Rise: More black and grey-brown, with black covering most of her face and her forearms and the bottom half of her legs.
Hair:
‘12 and ‘03: Black, slightly wavy, down to mid-shoulder blade, usually up in a ponytail or messy bun.
Rise: Dark brown, curly, down to mid-back. Usually kept in a messy bun, but she will sometimes put it in a ponytail.
Eye color:
‘12 and ‘03: Sapphire blue(outer iris) emerald green(inner iris) with flecks of brown throughout.
Rise: Gold/brown.
Personality: Asami loves her family more than anything in the world, prepared to fight to protect them from anything. She’s protective of her siblings, feeling motherly toward them even if she’s not much older than them.
In the ‘12 and ‘03 universes, she does not want the position of leader, even as the eldest in her family. She knows she wouldn’t be able to send her family out to battle and make plans like Leo can, so she leaves him to it, backing him up if need be. She researches medicine to help Donnie take care of her siblings and will help Donnie with his projects since no one else seems to want to.
In the Rise universe, she feels more motherly toward them, since Splinter doesn’t seem to be too present with them at first. She gives them a listening ear when they want to talk to her, and helps them process things if they need it. She tries to help Raph lead her siblings, taking missions even more serious than Raph does, but she will kick back and enjoy hanging out with April and her siblings when she can. When their missions start to get more frequent, Asami starts looking into medicine and becomes the team medic so she can take care of her family if they get hurt. She also helps Donnie fix up some thrown out medical equipment, using part of Donnie’s lab as a kind of med-bay.
Random facts: Asami loves coffee and is cranky til she has it in the morning. She is good at tracking people, especially when working with Lupa. She heals a bit faster than normal humans, like her siblings, able to survive a more than what would kill a normal person. She can also smell pheromones.
Weapons of choice:
‘12 and ‘03: Ninjaken, tomahawks and shurikens. And her claws, too, if need be.
Rise: At first she used tomahawks and a ninjaken, but then she found mystic tessens and uses those. She keeps her ninjaken, though, as backup.
General description:
‘12: Like Splinter, Asami is tall, a little wiry, and stronger than she looks. She wraps her arms and legs halfway down, making fingertip-less gloves like Splinter. She wears elbow and knee pads like the guys, a black ninja catsuit, and a charcoal grey belt with a Hamato symbol buckle Donnie made to tuck her tomahawks, shuriken, and smoke bombs in. Her ninjaken is strapped to her left thigh. If there’s no mission, she wears a t-shirt and Spandex capris. She also has a grey and teal floral Kimono with a grey obi (only for special occasions, though).
:03: Taller than the rest of her family (Asami teases her siblings about it sometimes). Lean, but muscular. Wears a Spandex black outfit that reaches down to her knees and elbows, tucking into her elbow and knee pads. Either that, or a pair of faded, patched Bell-Bottom jeans and her Spandex top. She doesn't have a lot of clothes.
Rise: She definitely looks the most like a wolf in this version, as she was a wolf before the mutation. She wears a black long sleeve shirt and black capris when out on missions, adding armor she and Donnie made when Donnie insists she and Lupa should have armor. If not on missions, Asami likes dressing comfortably, wearing loose t-shirts and baggy sweatpants usually, or a pair of comfy shorts.
And here’s Lupa! She’s a puppy that ended up mutated too.
How that mutation happens depends on the iteration, but anyway...
                                              Lupa Hamato
Parent(s): Splinter, or Hamato Yoshi.
Siblings:
Hamato Asami
Hamato Leonardo
Hamato Raphael
Hamato Donatello
Hamato Michelangelo
Age during Rise of the Turtles/Things Change: Just turned 15.
Age during Mystic Mayhem: 13
Height:
‘12 and ‘03: 4'9-ish, but still growing. Will be about 5′3 like Asami when she stops growing.
Rise: 5′3 and still growing. Will be about as tall as Asami when she’s done growing.
Fur color: The same as Asami's.
Eye color: Same as Asami's.
Hair:
‘12 and ‘03: More of a dark brown than black, slightly more wavy, too.
Rise: Lighter brown than Asami’s hair (but not much), down to middle back. Usually held up in a high ponytail, or messy bun.
Mask color: Emerald green.
Weapon(s) of choice:
‘12 and ‘03: Double-bladed scythe, nunchuck (one), and shurikens. She also uses her claws sometimes.
Rise: Did use a double-bladed scythe initially, but when that was destroyed she took the staff Donnie didn’t want, which can transform into any staff-based weapon (like a naginata, double-bladed scythe, long-handle hammer, etc) that can change shape as Lupa sees fit.
Personality: Playful, mischievous, and optimistic, Lupa loves to prank her siblings and chill with Mikey. They’re a duo of troublemakers, but Asami keeps them in line when need be.
As with any Hamato, she would rather die than let any of her siblings get hurt, and hates it when they are hurt. As she started out an animal, she has a little bit more of an animal-like appearance, and is scared to death that she'll lose her reason and hurt her family, or worse. She knows when to be serious, and when she can crack jokes and pull pranks.
Her and Asami share a close bond since they are the only wolves in the family, but she also has close bonds with all her other siblings, too. She loves Donnie’s tech even if she doesn’t understand it, she loves sparring and wrestling with Raph, pranking and watching TV with Mikey, and she admires Leo’s (and Raph’s in the Rise universe) leadership (even if she doesn’t always listen to them). She wants to be like Asami, but can’t always be serious like her sister, and that’s ok.
Random Facts: She is better at smelling things like sweat, perfume, and other scents than Asami, but can't quite smell pheromones like her sister can. As a tracking team, they are nearly unparalleled. She’s not allowed to have coffee, as it makes her so hyperactive she drives her siblings insane.
General Description: Literally a younger version of Asami (ish. She looks a little closer to her animal roots and has slightly longer canine teeth than Asami in the ‘12 and ‘03 universes. In Rise, she looks very much like a younger Asami but with a different colored headband).
She wears a black tank top and Spandex shorts on her legs on missions. She wraps her arms and legs from her palms to just halfway up her forearms and the bottom halves of her legs. She doesn’t have many clothes (mainly hand-me-downs from Asami they got out of overstuffed donation sites and a few things she found for herself), but she does have a green and brown kimono from when Asami was younger that Lupa hardly ever wears.
In Rise, when not on missions, Lupa wears mostly tank tops and shorts, but likes sweatpants and hoodies if she’s in the mood.
And that’s it! Feel free to ask questions! Hope you guys like my girls! :)
