I’m uploading everything i have in a doc. Ive written this while drunk high sober. There’s a lot of grammar and spelling mistakes, I dont read often and when it comes to writing like this i can care less about how it sounds just that it exits my mind immediately. It brings me peace in a brain then never shuts up and cycles through the same horrid thoughts. I doubt someone will read this but i want this blog so that i can write on here and not on my docs i do want to be a writer and so im seeing if i have the courage to share these. So read on.

I have this idea of what my future may look like and it scares me. Because it is me still living here and having a mediocre job and not doing anything basically the safe route. It feels as if what i want in life can be attained but i don't try to have. which is why im giving myself no other options in where to go to college because I know what I want but I also know myself and i know that i will somehow chicken out and go the safe route. Is it stupid to force my self to do something i may not be successful out in hopes that i will somehow finally come out of my shell and be the person i truly want to be just because i am in a diffrent state but sadly your mind does not change when you leave no matter what you will always be you and your stuck with it.

I want to be “granola Girl” ive accepted the title think it has the best form in music, its 100% voice and instruments and i hope it stays the same and doesn't fall into the social music norms of electronic music sounds. Real music is real talent. I have the tattoo for the granola lifestyle too hence why i got it. I think when I was little I always knew this is what i wanted ever since the dream the van with driving onto a log with mountains and a waterfall. I loved that dream and I would draw it all the time. In a way it is just like my tattoo. I've also loved the idea of earth and nature, I want this, it's what I want , now that i know for sure I am ready for it. I don't want money I could give two shits about that i just want someone who wants me and who gets me and all we will ever need is one another. I want what the couple in sleep on the floor has because that is all i need

There is something in women that when they look pretty or feel like they look pretty they become productive or its just me. I watch videos of girl being productive but the start of the video is of them looking cute. II need to start looking cute so i can be productive. I think the prettiest I’ve ever been was when i was in wyoming at school.. i wish I knew that back then cause looking back it’s painful to be like ya io was feeling myself but she didnt feel like i thought she would. It was still me. Insecure in some ]ways not as bad as i am now but still insecure. I do miss it immensely intensely but at the end it wasn’t me or was it. I was completely different i was like big sister protect like carry a knife by them alch9olo its not who i am here and i wish he was able to see Me ou there cause that’s the me i think he’d love the most. I stood heard as my friend stole the sangria im not the friend that steals the sangria and im, ok with that. But im also the friend to invite the friend to the wildlife meeting int the Rocky Mountains and 8im the one to talk to most of the our group to learn more about what we are doing. I’m the one to veer off enough to find the deer tooth. I was different I thrived and i think I wasn’t officals to move out and i wish i didnt fail all my classes and i wish i could i have moved in with Kylie but i pushed against it.

I wish I could’ve been lucky enough to have perfect teeth show when i smile. No matter who i see on my phone i study there faces. I see there eyes their smile their lines on their faces the way the react to any scenario and im like wow if only i could react in that way and look the way they do because they are beautiful and i am well me. I get drunk because most of my life drunk people have reacted to me in a way that i seem beautiful idk if it’s cause thats when i gain confidence or their judgment is drunk opossibly i am only beautiful when someone’s vision is a little distorted. My boyfriend still believes im beautiful even on days i feel ugly. I really love him when i think about him i feel a pull on my heart

This brain of mine is getting awfully hard to stay friends with it. And its kinda strange to think that i have no control of that but i stand watch as my life burns around me people i hurt promises broken. That’s not me i swear thats that thing thats taken over it wears my skin and clothes it but its not me. I look in the mirror and she’s a stranger god how many times has a human put that down on paper. Why when i speak to myself constantly all day its a little less cliche then when im typing. This body has become fat and her hair frizzy. Skin bad. She’s disgusting. She’s ruining all of my relationships and i am too much of a coward to apologize for it. What’s the point of getting myself back on track when as pattern has shown i will inevitably fuck it up and it crashes and burn and i crash and burn once again. When in have it all i eventually don’t want any of it. And so i discard it and discard the people involved. Or I hid from it. I wanna live in a ditch. Never to be bothered again. And the only thing i can think of is gosh doesnt a dom and sub relationship sound like the best situation to be into. And hey if thats not your thing more power to you ladies im not saying thats how every women should live. But for me its heaven. Ever watch fleabag? That wonderful quote “i want someone to tell me how to dress tell me when to eat etc. god knows i cant take care of myself and well i dont think I’ve formed into a total grown up just yet so until that happens the adult relationship for that would be dom and sub. How embarrassing if thats what i become i grew up in a powerful women family and i do not carry that torch. So far one thing has been clear. I do not want to lose him. My goodness gracious he is an angel.

There’s nights that haunt my mind. Many of my daily life decisions haunt me too. Everything haunts me. My past is a ghost who is mean. And it likes to act like a pop up book from hell (Gilmore girl quote). Throughout the day everyday pop an image of a past mistake. I think most definitely my problem is me. Most of the things i regret was me just causally living my life thinking I was sane. Looking back now im like hellooo why would you choose that high school schedule. If your reading this and think wow she’s thinking she’s insane because of something as silly as a high school schedule she really may be crazy. There’s other examples stupid things like that me being an idiot. Basically my schedule really showed me that learning was never really my goal. I didnt take any ap science classes but hey that is what i wanted to go into so maybe a bio and chem would be a good idea. So that leaves me thinking what the fuck do i want. I want to be constantly drunk and i want to be left the hell alone and i want to be fucked and i want to be thin i want to be in the good graces of everyone i fuck over .. Is there a place in this world for a girl like me. I hope to find it. I

not having morals and a strong sense of self can really destroy a persons entire mind. Believing in yourself and the way you chose to spend each passing second without an ounce of doubt is the best thing you can do for yourself. You are marinating waiting to bloom feeling out the waters just waiting for the day to come. Some would say just jump but gosh im 22 i have my whole life to swim just let me dip my toes in for a while i know that im setting myself up to tread water all my life instead of putting on a life jacket while im young and on land. That’s my choice. Having belief in oneself can really be beneficial. Words, judgements, and opinions and suggestions from others may seriously drown a person. It can send you down a path that you’ve never even wanted and therefore derailing the whole reality you’ve created for yourself so when you start off at square one again you get those same critics again. The understanding of this has helped me be able to not spiral out. I dont know what divine intervention was with me when i did have this experience but it talked to me in a way that I’ve never talked to my self before. The conversation went something like this.

What if me and him aren’t actually in love we are young and dont know what love should look or feel like since neither of us really expirnced it growing up.

Well thats not true. (Ok so I don’t remeber exactly how the conversation went )

you two have actively sought each other out and chose one another. That is love.

then something about how Wyoming was my life the same way he is my life it happened the way it did because it was supposed to happen that way i was suppposed to go only for a year and we were supposed to end up together

the spirit also told me that hurting myself was not in the plan it isn’t the reason your together now you would’ve ended up together if it happened or not. But it was sorry that it did.

The light in his bedroom was bluish and bright and my eyes were open most of the

time for this conversation. It was a soft eloquent voice and it thought me to slow down the conversations i have with myself. That i didnt have to be so fast in my head.

It changed me. I feel different. Lighter so thank you spirit.

i like rewatching the things I watched as a child young impressionable wondering if who i became is becasue of the things i did for entertainment. Or becasue it was dest8ined to be that way. When i watch Hannah Montana or pretty little liars i see things that coincide with the choices I’ve made. But gosh it can be my little selfs fault for all that can it. My parents didnt force me to watch not cable and so therefore im sentenced to a life of lust and sloth and all the other seven deadly sins. I wasn’t given internet restrictions but god only knows what i was up top on those late nights as a ten year old. I love to say it but it really did ruin my life. It made me I also I find myself studying the faces of the girls in the shows i watch or those I see on social media . Just so i can compare them to my own see what makes them attractive and the differences between mine and theirs when you feel unattractive its easy to compare to your self to your family first and knowing that you find the women in your family beautiful its easy to belive you yourself is beautiful and when you compare famous women to your facial similarities then you feel even better about yourself. I guess my comparisons would be Lucy hale and etc. . . .]

I believe god is a form of love everything on earth that’s embodies love is god.

Self love, love for a person and community Which is why I also belive that the upper class is all satirist they don’t belive in god they believe in the devil which is why our society is so blinldy following their lead. It’s why chiridasntutn is so diminanixyed too.

Why does the world think it has a claim on my soul why must i feel like i owe the world my presence. Why do i have a pull to see it. Why cant i just be happy here. Why cant i be at peace here. Why does it have to be my job to go out and live and visit and see as much as i can. Live in another world in the southern hemisphere. Why cant i just love the man and be friends with the people here. Why cant i force myself to fit here. With my family loved ones. Why must they expect so much from me why do i feel like im responsible to be the one to get away. Why can i not have my life here. One foot here one foot out the door thats how I’ve always felt. I tell a joke ill just leave by train bus train plane ill be gone. Its just a joke i dont know how to actually leave by myself. I need someone to pus me into the void of somewhere new. Come with me.

The call is as talking about above has called again. I must see more, do more I have dreams and i dont work towards them. I talk about it, I feel it inside me, I can picture how it looks. Now it is time to achieve. A work for it. Work, DO DO DO DO DO DO DO. DO More. Follow that passion and hope for happiness i know it can happen. Every thing could be different in a years time if you just apply yourself every day for a year to make that change. Things are worked for things happen when you do them not just think it. You have to go sought after your life not just watch others achieve what you want. You’ve done that your whole high school days and now its been four years since and your still trying to inspire that spark into you to get you moving when its already been sparked this whole time. Get out of your head and into your life.

Since I was tagged I feel like I might be able to add more to this? I do have like 3 years of streaming under my belt. (this is also going to be a behind the scenes of myself I fear, and also I wanna plug myself a bit ok) This is also going to be my experience and literally beauty of streaming is you dont have to follow any of this

Def agree with just steal what you like. Connoreatspants, Sneegsnag and others are big inspirations for my content, editing, and look on stream fun fact.

I started on a separate account than I use now as like a tester with my sister and just got used to the program before making my entire addaxbones character and doing branding stuff off of that. Personally I like my own cohesive branding, helpful for viewers to have a solid image in their brain of you within like a minute of seeing you. I also just threw together stuff I liked, purple, antelopes, skulls, ect. I took about a month before going live making and drawing up branding and paying some artists for some images i could use as profile photo, ending screen, chatting screen. (I really like streaming and see it as just a hobby to put some extra cash into)

OBS is great, i also love streamelements for alerts, chat overlay and chat commands that add some interaction. Triggerfyre is how I do all my channel point videos (you can also add commands if you dont have channel points) fossabot and nightbot are also pretty common for chat control stuff. I would also personally recommend getting bttv and ffz for your chat and picking out some free commonly used twitch emotes, these are what originally drew me to twitch as the site has a great sense of community and like a weird almost language you don't see around much. I also just love emotes.

Fun twitch things to consider, turn on your vod saving!!!! Many people lose their first streams to this as its auto off (if you are me remotely record every second you are live and put into a folder to upload to a vod channel 1 year later so nothing is lost) You can also go in and perminently save vods as twitch will get rid of them, watch out! Also Im putting this here USE MORE CLIPS. I just want everyone on twitch to use clips more but if you have a moment on stream you liked, clip it, use that clip to post to other places, idk watch it 72 times

In terms of actually streaming, just play games however you want, if you want to make a whole show go for it, or just chill and play a game with people. Just make sure you are having fun, Dont look at numbers as well, they are really fun to look at stat wise but sometimes you dont need that viewer reminder

Something I know I struggle with, you can just kick people from your chat if you dont like the vibe, its your space. Or, get some cool mods like zircon

Also schedules really help, in whatever capacity you have if you commit to it it makes it easier. Of course you can take breaks and stuff but having a schedule helped me so much of actually forcing myself to sit down and just play a video game for a couple hours. Also viewers know when to expect streams from you and consistency helps a lot.

I might put a bit more obs technical stuff and personal stuff that I find fun here so im putting my own read more

In terms of like things to consider, most twitch streams nowadays in the space have like a starting screen ~5 min, maybe a chatting screen, gameplay, brb, and ending. You'll learn what other sceens you personally are going to need as you need them.

these are mine (the ones on the bottom are nestled scenes I use to clear up individual scenes, kinda like folders)

Most of my current scene backgrounds I've just honestly used Canva to make slight gifs, mixed with my own editing and layering.

I did this like 2 years ago when I took a month off after surgery so I could come back to a nice updated stream that I am still really proud of.

I also made a png-tuber during this time, as much as sometimes I wish I did facecam mentally I dont think im ready for that. so I drew all the parts myself and used HONK which was really fun to learn, all the drawings had to be in very separate layers so they would move how I want and now my little guy talks and moves his head and moves his ears and blinks and can change outfits

there are also free programs to do this like veodotube but personally I really like how much I can change with honk and how it has different mouths and doesnt jump every second, looks cleaner to me and well worth the 12 bucks.

this is my audio nested source since every other sorce uses these audio chanells zircon was talking about. Personally, audio is really important, I check and modify my audio after almost every stream cuz I'm paranoid and still dont feel like ive reached a good spot. Obviously not actually needed just something I personally prioritize. also wifi (ive been in a battle with telus this past week) wifi and your computer strength will play a part in what games will physically work

more fun things, I have so many streamelements custom commands that just say shit into chat and videos that randomly play

did you know streamelements also has stats?

and speaking of stats, twitch tracker is really useful (just dont morally compare yourself to others u know) its really fun to see how others are doing compared to yourself just dont take it personally

also an about section is really handy, its what i look at when looking at new people to raid, also raiding people when u are done stream is free and helpful for both sometimes, its nice to share the community u know, helps you both grow sometimes.

hellooo zircon, for no particular reason (/silly) do you have any tips for beginner streamers? Your streams are always clean and well put together esp from a technical side imo so I trust your advice on this one :) - @helsex

This is gonna be long so get comfy.

#1 best tip: Get familiar with your streaming software of choice (most likely OBS) and don't be afraid to play with it. Your first streams are not gonna be a polished as you'd like no matter what you do. You don't need to know the software inside and out to use it well and familiarity will come with use. The best approach (in my opinion) is to figure out what you like in other streams and figure out how to do that for yourself, don't worry about learning absolutely everything right from the start.

Another good tip is to do some mic checks beforehand, if you just record instead of streaming you'll be able to see what your mic sounds like on stream, and there are tons of tutorials out there for figuring out mic settings (this is the one I followed I think, although with some differences just for my own preference).

Yet another helpful resource: this is a link to an obs plugin that will help manage audio sources so you can actually control what plays on stream, instead of it just playing your whole desktop audio. (I think OBS has a version of this going now? But I tried using it and didn't get far) You'll have to add an audio source individually for each application but the greater control is a godsend.

For overlays (things like chat on stream and alerts that play when people follow/subscribe/raid that sort of thing), there's a few routes you can go down. Twitch has their own alerts thing but personally I use streamelements (they also have a very popular chatbot which I don't use myself but may be worth looking into if that's something you want). Whichever service you end up using should give you some sort of link, which will be added to your obs as a Browser Source. (Also if you're using the obs plugin I linked, the browser source audio would be under the name "obs-browser-page.exe" after you set up the browser source)

My final bit of advice is that hotkeys are your friends! It is absolutely worth setting up a few hotkeys to make controlling your stream while in game easy. Personally I have hotkeys set up for toggle muting my my mic and discord audio, as well as for changing between my most common scenes (Also my catcam when my animals deign to show up). Typically if you are just using a regular keyboard you'll want to use key combinations as hotkeys to avoid accidentally activating one while trying to type in game (Something I have done many a time, but hey you never stop learning!).

Shoutout to @addaxbones for teaching me literally everything I know about streaming btw. He's the guy that got me into this mess and also the reason I met most of my friends today. (love that guy)

One last thing under the readmore to cover my shame /silly:

I am flattered you consider my streams "clean and well put together", and you can maybe take this as proof that on screen != behind the scenes, but here is my desktop from a few streams ago, not a tidy look I can tell you that.

It doesn't normally get this bad, but it's also not a whole lot better.

this prank was very risky just like the other pranks you’ve pulled on him but that doesn’t stop you at all

you decided to do this prank after seeing it on the fyp— and also because of the prank’s simplicity since all you needed to do was download the tiktok

you called katsuki over when he finishes working out, and it all seems innocent “katsuki! come over here.”

katsuki, irritated— as he had just finished his exercise, he marches over to where you’re seated “what now, dumbass?”

“i want you to meet my friends!” katsuki only raises a brow, because he’s PRETTY sure that he’s met all of your friends

“now??” he sighs, “i thought i met all of your stupid friends.”

“not all of them,” you grin “c’mon please, katsuki?” and it’s over when your eyes twinkle, and he can only sigh— sitting next to you

“okay, let me meet them” he asks, and you pull up with your phone (that’s now filming, and with the video playing) and show him your ‘friends’

“this is katsuki! my boyfriend,” you introduce him to your ‘friends’

and he’s SO offended when your friends burst into laughter, “WHAT THE HELL’S SO FUNNY, EXTRAS??”

man was really about to explode your phone into pieces— and i’m serious about that part ��‍♂️ his hands were creating mini sparks out of anger

you had to coax him that it was just a prank, and they weren’t actually your friends

katsuki’s just 😐 “what did i expect from you?”

promise him that the video won’t go viral, and it won’t be seen by thousands and thousands of people.

you were wrong, and the video AND the audio ended up going viral. and katsuki had to hear his voice on tiktok for WEEKS.

“YOU TOLD ME IT WOULDN’T GO VIRAL DUMBASS” he fumes, red irises zeroing in on you.

“WELL SORRY— I DONT CONTROL THE ALGORITHM, but at least you’re famous!”

“fuck off,” he doesn’t mean that. but he just needs to learn how to not fall for your shit again, despite being really whipped for you

midoriya izuku

you’d feel bad because izuku’s ALWAYS at the receiving end of your pranks 💀

similar to bakugou, you decided to prank him because of the simplicity of the prank— and he wouldn’t get TOO offended by the prank’s nature, right? wrong 💀

izuku swings the door open, a couple of snacks held in his arms, “hey Y/N! i brought some snacks— what did you need me for?”

poor izuku. he’s gesturing to his post workout state, since he was in such a hurry to get to your room with snacks.

but you brush his concern off “don’t worry, izuku! it’s through call. they won’t be able to smell you anyway.”

he calms down, and this when you decide to start the tiktok. “i’m going to call them,” he only nods, quickly hurrying over to your side— to meet your ‘cousins’

“say hi, izuku!” he nervously smiles, showing his face to the camera and waving his hand— totally oblivious of the intentions

he’s stammering on the introduction, and that’s when the rather hysterical laughing starts

he blinks, the feeling of defeat courses through his entire body— the green haired boy immediately moves away from the view

why exactly is izuku genuinely sad from your ‘cousins’ laughing at him? well,, it was always a thing for him to try his very best to be likeable to your relatives

your parent(s)/guardian? they adore him. siblings (if there’s any) they’re also very fond of him. so while you say that they’re your cousins— it still means a lot if he made a good impression

“i,, should’ve changed!” he sulks, the fact that the laugh was quite hysterical didn’t aid the issue, “your cousins will never like me,,”

his mind is put at ease when you tell him it’s a prank— and they’re not actually your cousins. so he doesn’t need to do any redeeming, regardless of the fact that he ‘just met’ them

he sighs in relief, actually glad that it was all just another innocent tiktok prank (that did make his heart race 10x faster)

the video blows up, his distraught reaction being splayed across the fyp, it eventually getting onto twitter— his face being used as an reaction video

“you’re viral, izuku!”

he’s content, despite his distraught reaction being spread across the internet. but he just wishes that your actual cousins don’t see it 💀

todoroki shouto

is most likely aware of your tiktok pranks— but please 💀 this one looked realistic to him, so how was he supposed to tell??

anyways, you decided to do this prank because you wanted to see how he’d react to your ‘family members’ laughing at him. his reactions are golden though

it’s harmless, in a way— it’s mostly a harmless prank. shouto knows how to not take things too seriously, but you just wanted to see his reactions.

“shouto, could you please come over here?” you call for him to sit right next to you, patting his usual spot next to you.

“what is it?” he asks, getting comfortable next to you, kissing your temple— and that’s when you pull out your phone

“i want you to meet my siblings!”

shouto’s puzzled, because one— he always prefers to meet your family members in person, and two— he didn’t know you had siblings (or more siblings)

“we’re not meeting them in person?”

“oh wait! i forgot to mention that they’re working abroad. so we can’t really schedule a meeting in person.”

shouto’s skeptical, but you reassure him further “it’ll be quick!”

the dual haired boy chooses to believe you which was honestly really wrong of him, “alright, i’ll meet them.”

he moves next to you, peaking at the screen “say hi to shouto!”

he was expecting a few things but,, them breaking out into hysterical laughter was just something else

shouto’s so confused 💀✋ someone please help him, it’s like you spoke to him in simlish. that’s what his reaction would be like.

and he’s just thinking things like— why are you guys laughing? is there dirt on my face? i didn’t even say anything funny??

“why are they laughing? love, i didn’t even say anything funny??”

oblivious shouto. he’s not even aware that it’s all just a tiktok prank. but he must say— he’s a little bit disappointed that he already has a bad impression on your ‘siblings’

it’s your turn to laugh, making his thinking at a vague state— shouto’s trying to think of pieces of dialogue he might’ve missed

“it’s a prank, shouto— look,” you replay the tiktok of the girls laughing, and it comes clearly to him now

“oh.” 🧍 honestly, why is he so shocked? it wasn’t the first time you managed to prank him in such a similar nature.

he’s not mad though— rather, shouto’s impressed. “love, i adore you— but i’m not sure on why i got surprised.”

“right? i’d think that you’re used to this but i guess you’re not!” nah, he just believes you a little bit too easily.

but that doesn’t mean he WON’T be suspicious when he actually has to meet your siblings.

“these,, are actually your siblings? no pranks this time, right?” he just wants to make sure. he won’t fall for your potential pranks again!

also, the video does well, the comments being filled with ��LMAO HE LOOKED GENUINELY CONFUSED” “shouto todoroki being confused for 20 seconds straight 🤠❓❓”

shouto is very confused on why the girls were just laughing, putting everything aside— he just doesn’t know the context of that tiktok 🧎‍♂️

he looked really nice driving that car tho. i loved his beautiful parted hair

and tbh i didn’t have an opinion on woohyun? i liked his hair.

and when sungyeol sang, his hair looked really nice too (which is why im so sad he didn’t like it bc i actually thought it looked good on him)

Sunggyu: cute guy. i like his soft face and the way he sings

Dongwoo: kinda freaky but he looks good driving that car

Woohyun: i like his hair

Hoya: tough rapper guy

Sungyeol: tall and handsome, and nice short, spiky hair

Myungsoo: main person who i actually recognized before, and he looks really nice and dramatic w that makeup and winged hand accessory

Sungjong: *SCREAMS FOR TEN HOURS STRAIGHT* HE IS SO BEAUTIFUL HOW IS SOMEONE THIS BEAUTIFUL AND MAGNIFICENT IS HE EVEN REAL HOW DID I COME ACROSS THIS I AM BLESSED

and overall, i actually liked the music video, and it was one of the MVs that interested me and that i would listen to again.

Never bring a knife to a gun fight

Rumours of Poppy’s outburst at volleyball practice began to spread like wildfire, students all around Belvoire gossiped about the intentions behind the strawberry blonde’s confrontation.

Some of the stories fabricated insinuated that Bea threatened Poppy to counter her friends’ behaviour, while others believed that Poppy was simply doing some charity work by helping Belvoire’s least fortunate. Not one of the rumours came close to the truth, that the girls were just simply in love.

Saturday rolls over quickly and Poppy’s in her bedroom with Veronica sprawled out on her bed, hugging a pillow to her chest, while Poppy lays on the other side of her. Chloe however, awkwardly sits on the edge of the bed, ostensibly feeling apprehensive about being in the same room as Poppy as she reels in from her last one on one confrontation with the strawberry blonde.

The two girls laying down, engage in idle chit chat until they’re pulled out of their conversation when the dumb blonde lets out a small cough capturing their attention.

“So.. are you sure you can’t ditch your dinner plans and come to the party?” She anxiously places some of her hair behind her ear, as she meets Poppy’s gaze but the blue-eyed girl holds the eye contact, determined to mitigate some of the awkwardness from the room since she’s barely spoken more than 10 words to the strawberry blonde since Thursday.

Poppy and Veronica share a look, the unspoken words covertly communicating their plan to go to the party in the south, but the two girls remain silent, avoiding the question. Chloe stares at the two girls, oblivious to what the shared look actually means, and when her question remains unanswered she opens her mouth to ask again until Poppy clears her throat slightly and sighs, “I told you Chlo, it’s a work dinner, we don’t have a choice, our parents are forcing us to be there.”

“Yeah but you could I dont know, speak to your dad? I’m sure he would understand”

‘I’m a Min Sinclair, I can’t pick and choose what dinners I can and can’t go to, it doesn’t work like that,” Poppy adds a bit of sterness to her tone hoping the dumb blonde would get the point and leave it alone but Chloe’s infuriating relentlessness compels her to keep cracking down on the strawberry blonde, inclined to make her change her mind. She drags her body from the edge of the bed to the middle, and perches herself on her knees as she faces the two girls, “the party won’t be as fun without you guys there”.

Poppy lips move to an imperceptible frown as her mind and heart begin to battle over whose party she should go to tonight. While she promised Bea she would go to the party tonight, Chloe was acting suspiciously clingy and things between the two girls were still fragile. Warily watching the strawberry blonde lost in speculation, Veronica intercepts before Poppy can come up with an answer, “have you met her dad Chloe? There’s no way Mr Min Sinclair will let us miss the dinner for a party, don’t be stupid”

Veronica’s cutthroat tone is enough for the dumb blonde to stop pushing and she purses her lips in retort. Veronica almost feels bad so she adds, “but I agree, the party is gonna be dead without the two of us there” she smiles and slightly nudges Poppy with her shoulder hoping to alleviate some of the awkwardness. However to her dismay, the atmosphere slips back to being awkward and the girls reside in the uncomfortable silence that follows until Poppy’s phone begins to chirp with messages. She apprehensively picks up her phone but can’t help the smile on her face when she sees Bea’s name pop up on her screen.

After reading the series of texts from Bea, Poppy’s practically grinning like a Cheshire cat as she types out her response, her attention shifts solely focusing on the brunette and she mentally reprimands herself for doubting which party she should go to, since the choice is undoubtedly clear.

Past memories of her going to parties with Bea surges through her mind and she revels in the memory of her first ever southside party. She recollects how nervous Bea was as the 15 year old girls made their way to the drinks table and Bea accidentally spilled her drink on Poppy’s top, after having a couple of beers beforehand, and Poppy teased what a lightweight she was. Bea’s face practically reddened with embarrassment as she offered her girlfriend to wear her hoodie to cover the drink stain, while she walked around the party in her tank top and caught a cold the next day. It was the small moments like that that made Poppy appreciative of Bea’s kindness and thoughtfulness and reminded the strawberry blonde exactly why she loves her. While reminiscing about the past, Poppy’s practically pulled from her thoughts when Chloe taps her leg, frowning.

‘Who are you uh talking to Poppy?”

Poppy visibly stiffens and turns off her phone, her mouth begins to feel dry as her brain goes into overdrive trying to come up with an authentic lie. “Just uhh going through my insta dms, the amount of creativity these creeps have is hilarious”

Chloe gawks at Poppy, not entirely convinced but she nods in response, not wanting to press the matter further. Veronica quickly sits up, a soft gasp leaving her lips as she stares at the time on her phone, “Crap, I gotta go and edit my video so I can upload it tonight”, she gets up to grab her bag and Chloe uses the opportunity to leave with Veronica as she knows that her and Poppy are yet to still be on normal speaking terms. After a few goodbye hugs and a promise from Veronica that she’ll see the strawberry blonde tonight, Poppy walks them down to the front door and watches the girls leave.

Just as she’s about to head about to her room, a voice booms out from the living room, Poppy freezes mid-step on the stairs and internally sighs, ‘crap’ she thinks to herself, her dad’s home.

“Poppy, come over here for a second”, Poppy mentally braces herself and holds her head up high, keeps her posture straight and walks into the living room to see her father sitting on his favourite chair and a stack of documents on the table beside him.

“Hi daddy”, she places a sweet kiss on his cheek and he makes a gesture for her to sit opposite him on the sofa. He places his hand on the frame of his glasses and takes it off and begins rubbing at the glass with the hem of his shirt before placing it back on his face.

“I feel like I’ve barely seen you this week princess, how was your first week as a senior?”

Poppy usually gets nervous when speaking with her father about any aspect of her life really, because he isn’t always the most affectionate or warming person. She purses her lips together in thought before answering, “It was good daddy, I’m in a lot of the AP classes so I’ve been making sure I stay on track for what’s expected for the classes”.

Her father beams at her response and slaps his hand against his knee, “that’s my girl”, but his expression quickly sobers as he fixates his gaze on the blonde, “so, you didn’t run into any problems this week?” His tone is almost intimidating and suggestive as Poppy subtly sinks into the sofa a little, her thoughts beginning to run wild as she struggles to grasp at her father’s implication.

“Uh no, not really dad”

“Huh, I heard that friend of yours, Chloe? She had a fight with that Hughes girl on the first day back. You wouldn’t be foolish enough to indulge in something so trivial would you now?”

Poppy clings to the edge of the sofa with a deathly drip, knuckles turning white at the mention of Bea but she lifts her body slightly in an attempt to show her father she isn’t fazed by her name and clears her throat slightly, “no dad, Chloe thought it would be a funny joke but I ended up getting detention for just being in the courtyard.” She begins to shake her head a little, “I would never involve myself in something so ludacris” she exaggeratingly rolls her eyes and fidgets with her perfectly manicured nails, soliciting her lack of interest in the topic.

Her father gleams at her with a hint of satisfaction, and curtly nods his head at her before swiftly changing the subject. “Rita, tells me you’re planning to go to a party tonight?”

“Umm, yeah, just a celebration party at Ford’s house, his parents know about it and- ”

Hayden Min Sinclair raises his hand in the air and the words die out of Poppy’s mouth as she awaits for her dad to speak, “just be safe, and make sure you’re home before 12, just call Carter if you find yourself in need of a ride home”. Of course, Mr Min Sinclair would never offer to pick up his daughter himself, he knows that his daughter should be less dependent on him and should be able to fare for herself. Poppy briskly nods and moves to stand, “Well daddy, I should let you get back to your work”, she gives him a polite smile and moves towards her room, letting out a huge exhale as she closes her bedroom door. She hates hiding things from her father, but he makes it impossible for her to confide in him at all, it’s times like these where she wishes her mother was still here.

……

Bea spends her afternoon alone after dropping her sister off at her friend’s house for the weekend and worries about her mom being AWOL and has concerns when she doesn’t pick up her phone. It isn’t until the late afternoon her mom casually strolls through the front door, her makeup has practically vanished, with only a few remnants of it smudged across her face. She moves towards the kitchen to grab a glass of water until Bea’s stomps towards the kitchen with a scowl etched onto her face as she pulls Isabella away from the sink to face her.

“Where the fuck have you been? I’ve been calling and texting non-stop” Bea raises her voice and points accusatively at her mother who in response blanky rolls her eyes at Bea and moves towards the cupboards scrounging for some food. Bea’s blood begins to boil as she balls her hands up into fists, her knuckles turning white, she pushes her mom against the counter and lifts her face up to look into her eyes, “You’re fucking high aren’t you?”. She takes in her mom’s features, seeing her incredibly red eyes and her chapped lips, and her slightly slanted demeanour.

“Get the fuck off me” Isabella pushes Bea away from her, “last I remembered I’m the fucking parent here”

“Then act like it!” Bea screams at the top of her lungs, her breaths heavy, her tone enraged as she stares down at her mother, “I have better things to do than to worry about where you are or whether you’re laying dead in a ditch somewhere”

Isabella just places her hands on her head, trying to dull the noise sprouting from Bea’s mouth, “God, you’re hurting my head” she sniffles and simply grabs a packet of chips from the cupboard and a bottle of vodka from under the sink and retreats to her room without saying another word.

Bea chest heaves heavily, she has no idea what to do about her mother, sometimes she wishes that she wasn’t there, then maybe she would have less to worry about. She could be a normal teenager with normal problems, instead of constantly babying her mother and being a second mom to her sister, but she remembers that she should be lucky to have a mom, no matter how shitty she might be. Her phone in her pocket buzzes and she grimaces a little when she sees the text from Poppy

Just to make a few quick introductions but we’ll be in and out of the party

Bea feels a tiny pang in her heart but at least Poppy wasn’t going to completely ditch her for the night. She hoped that tonight would be just about them, that for once Poppy would let go off all expectations and just focus on herself. But Bea knew Poppy carried the world on her shoulders, that being a Min Sinclair meant that she had to sacrifice a lot, but sometimes Bea felt like she was the only thing being sacrificed, that she was the only thing that could easily be cut off. She types out a half-hearted reply to Poppy, something along the lines of ‘can’t wait to see you too’ and with that she grabs her jacket, turns around to catch a quick glance at her mother’s closed bedroom door and leaves for the party.

……

Poppy and Veronica are walking towards Ford’s house, the faint thumping of bass music echoes throughout the neighbourhood while the girls are fixated on their hair and outfits as they walk towards the front yard. Both of the girls are wearing smart suits, to make their lie about going to a company dinner more compelling. They leave their real party outfits in the back of Veronica’s car which is parked a couple of blocks away from the house and before they enter the house Poppy grabs Veronica’s hand.

“I told Bea that we will be in and out of the house, so let’s not waste any time. We just say a few hellos and then we go” she flips her hair throwing it back over her shoulder while Veronica rolls her eyes.

“Hey you’re the one who decided to stop by Ford’s party, I would rather be in the southside partying it up there.”

Poppy piercingly shushes Veronica, and in one swift move places her hand over the ombre-haired girl’s mouth, “Are you trying to expose us or something? Don’t mention the” she conspicuously u looks around and whispers, “don’t mention the southside here”

Veronica pulls Poppy’s hand from her mouth and exaggeratingly shudders while shaking her hands, “Oh no, I forgot the southside is like Voldemort we don’t speak of it” sarcasm dripping off every word she says.

Before Poppy can answer, a series of screams reverberates from inside the house and a few seconds later, Poppy and Veronica are engulfed in a huge bear hug from Chloe, “Oh my god, you guys made it”, she screams enthusiastically while jumping up and down in her spot clapping her hands together.

Veronica sticks her fingers in her ears are glares at Chloe, “chill Chloe, you’re gonna burst my eardrums”

Poppy laughs and playfully slaps Veronica on the arm and turns back to face the dumb blonde, “We’re just passing by, just because we have to go to a stuffy work dinner doesn’t mean we have to show up on time”

Chloe grabs the two girls by the arms and pulls them into the foyer where they’re greeted by more of their peers. Ford is already half naked with a red solo cup in his hand and he waves the girls over before offering them a drink which the two girls politely decline.

“Oh come on, one drink won’t kill you”

“We said we’re good” Veronica’s tone is cutthroat causing Ford to back off and resume his strip pong game.

“Ayyyyyy there are my two favourite girls” Carter slurs his words slightly and slinks an arm over each girl’s shoulders and migrates the girl’s to the back of the living room where the speakers are playing. “I thought Chloe said you guys aren’t coming? You change your mind Pops?” he flirtatiously raises an eyebrow at Poppy who playfully pushes him back in return.

“No we still have to go to the dinner” she gestures at her suit, “we just wanted to say hi real quick”

Chloe ambles towards the girl’s and grabs Veronica’s hand and pulls her to the dance floor without waiting for the ombre-haired girl to refuse, leaving Poppy and Carter alone.

“So… do you really have to go? I mean you could have a lot more fun if you stayed” he takes a careful step towards the strawberry blonde, closing the distance between the two as he leans in to whisper in her ear, “we could play strip pong”, he leans back a little to stare into Poppy’s eyes.

Poppy lets out a small awkward laugh, “um, as much fun as that sounds, Veronica and I really should get going. I don’t wanna piss off my dad” she takes a step back from the quarterback and wraps her arms around herself.

Carter gives Poppy a long unwavering look, one she fully couldn’t dissect and understand, but he breaks the silence, “well, I hope you have fun, Chloe was worried you were ditching us for someone else”

“Yeah, my dad’s business partners. Because work talk is absolutely riveting and exactly how I wanna spend my saturday nights” her voice brimming with sarcasm as she gives Carter a quick hug goodbye and grabs Veronica and pulls her out of the house after making a few more rounds with the rest of the students of Belvoire.

“This is a party, loosen up a little” Zoey rolls her eyes and hands Bea a red plastic cup, before taking a small sip from hers, “don’t tell me the princess of Greensburg decided to not show up”

Bea lighthearted rolls her eyes and takes a huge swig of her cup, “she said she’s coming, okay? She’s just saying a quick hi to her friends”

“Yeah sure, because she would rather hang out with the people at the bottom of the food chain than preppy rich kids who can probably afford a better sound system and drinks than this”

“Oh hush, you’re just in a sour mood because Veronica isn’t here yet” Zoey pinches Bea on her arm, “ow ow, okay, it doesn’t make it any less true though. I mean you practically begged me to invite her”

“Shut up. I don’t care if she’s here or not. But let's just say I’ve been doing a lot of wishful thinking and I’m wearing my best bra tonight” she gives Bea a sly wink who just laughs. “So,, I still can’t believe you let Poppy off that easily after the shit that happened on monday”

Bea stiffens a little, her expression quickly sobering as she turns to face Zoey, “look, we spoke about it and we’re moving past it. I told her she isn’t exactly out of the dog house but I’m not gonna sit here and wallow about it. What’s done is done” she gives Zoey a fixed look, meaning that she was done talking about it and Zoey raises her hands in defence

“Maybe if you let me beat Chloe’s ass then I would let Poppy off” Bea playfully shoves Zoey with her shoulder, “only if I can join you”, the two girls laugh until Zoey catches Bea staring into the inside of her cup, her eyes barren. “Hey, I’m sorry for bringing it up. It just pisses me off that those entitled bitches think they can do shit like that”

Bea solemnly shakes her head, “well, it’s Isabella’s fault to be honest. Everywhere I go, it’s like I’m haunted by her past and all the shit she’s done. Like they all expect me to become a deadbeat like her”

Zoey empathetically rubs Bea’s back, as the brunette clenches her jaw slightly to stop her lips from quivering, and she blinks back the tears forming in her eyes before letting out a sad laugh, “God, you just told me to lighten up and I just made this entire atmosphere depressing”

“Bitch, who cares? You’re my best friend, you know you can talk to me about anything, anytime” she gives Bea a one armed hug while balancing her drink and when the hug breaks off she drains the rest of her cup. “Do you want another drink?” Bea shakes her head and Zoey flounces off to grab another drink. Bea bops her head along to the music until a pair of hands cover her eyes from behind her, and a soft voice whispers in her ear, “guess who?”

Bea grins and delicately removes the hands from her eyes and turns around to see Poppy in her skin tight pink dress and moves in to give a long lingering kiss. “You finally made it” she kisses the strawberry blonde again before realising Veronica is standing behind Poppy with her arms crossed waiting as her eyes move to scan the backyard. “Hey Veronica, if you’re looking for Zoey she went inside a few minutes ago to get a drink” Veronica nonchalantly raises an eyebrow and looks towards the house, “well, I’m suddenly feeling parched, I’ll see you girls later” she gives them a wink and struts towards the house.

Poppy laughs while shaking her head but stops when she sees Bea appraising her, looking at her up and down with lust in her eyes. Poppy gives Bea her signature smirk and does a small twirl for the brunette, “so you like what you see?”

Bea moves towards the girl, hugging her curves while staring into the blonde’s eyes with undisguised desire, “mmhmm, you look gorgeous”, she nods towards the group of people who are dancing along to the music, “dance with me?”

Poppy grabs Bea’s hand and manoeuvres her to the middle of the makeshift dance floor and the girls laugh, drink and dance for a couple of songs until Bea whispers into Poppy’s ear, “let’s get out of here”

She takes the blonde’s hand and moves towards the inside of the house and they stumble towards the bedrooms, and when they open the first door they simultaneously gasp when they see Veronica and Zoey making out on the bed, both girls half naked.

“Oh my god Bea get out” Zoey throws a pillow towards the door and in response Bea throws her head back laughing, “sorry, sorry, but the bra is kinda cute Zo”. Zoey gives Bea the finger as they leave the room and eventually, they find an empty bedroom and are already locked in a passionate embrace before the door even closes.

Bea roughly shoves Poppy against the door pressing her lips to Poppy’s, devouring her as her tongue slips into the blonde’s as her moans set the brunette alight. Bea caresses her tongue with Poppy’s and breaks the kiss to start kissing down her neck and then her jawline until she reaches the sensitive spot behind her ear and begins to suck at it. A moan escapes Poppy’s lips as her hands wrapped around the taller girl’s neck as her eyes roll back begging for more.

Bea pulls back and the two girls begin shredding off their clothes before jumping into the strangers bed, their lips locked once again, reigniting the very same passion. Bea sits up and leads Poppy onto her lap, she grabs the blonde’s hips and presses her down onto her thigh before whispering into her ear, “ride” and without missing a beat, Poppy does. She unrelentlessly presses her sensitive spot down on Bea’s thigh and rocks her hips, as she buries her face into the crook of Bea’s neck, muffling her moans. Bea feels the heat emitting from the blonde’s legs and lets out a groan as her hands grip Poppy’s hips even more and she begins alternating between kissing and sucking at the blonde’s chest.

“Please Bea” Poppy’s breaths come in hot and heavy as she begs for release, so Bea decides to give into the desire and flips the blonde over, pressing her deeper into the mattress while her fingers play with the waistband of her panties. “Don’t fucking touch me”

“Wow, I like my girls rowdy” he tries to touch a stray piece of the blonde’s hair that sticks out but she grabs his wrist and pushes him back, her eyes scanning the front yard hoping Bea will be back.

“Hey! What the hell is going on here?” AJ sidles up to Poppy as he begins to stare down the young man who just demeaningly laughs in AJ’s face.

“Get outta here kid, can’t you see I’m talking to someone”

“Well she has a girlfriend so get lost”. The stranger stares at Poppy, an unsettling glint in his eyes before he steps forward and puts two of his fingers under Poppy’s chin lifting her face a little, “so you’re a lesbo? Well we can change that”. Before Poppy can step back AJ shoves the boy back who in retort takes out a knife holding it out against AJ. “fuck off now”.

After catching up with a few friends, Bea hears about a commotion in the front yard and rushes out to see AJ barricading Poppy with his body while someone holds out a knife to his chest. Poppy’s eyes flash when she realises Bea is here and Bea moves behind the figure and takes out a small pocket knife from her jeans and lightly presses it against the stranger’s neck. Poppy lets out a small gasp, her body trembles slightly as she takes in the fact that Bea is holding a knife.

“I don’t know who the fuck you are but you better back the fuck off right now unless you want to get your throat slit” her voice is quiet but her tone is challenging. The stranger raises his hands in the air and Bea warily puts the knife down, avoiding any eye contact with Poppy. In a swift move, the stranger throws Bea’s knife out of her hand, puts her in a headlock and presses the knife against her throat, creating a small cut as blood lightly begins to trickle down her neck.

“No!” Poppy moves forward but AJ steps in front of her and in a flash he grabs an object from the waistband of trousers and holds it up to the stranger. Everyone in the front yard begins to panic and move out of the way as they all segregate themselves from the confrontation.

“AJ stop” Bea pleads with the young boy when she realises he has a gun in his hand as he points it to the stranger.

“Move away from her now or I’ll shoot” his voice trembles slightly as his hand shakes but he grips the gun tighter as his gaze pierces into the stranger.

“You won’t do it” he presses his knife into Bea’s throat a little more, who just winces at the pain while Poppy painfully watches the ordeal unfold, her heart hammering into her eardrums.

AJ places his hand on the trigger, his stance unwavering, “try me”. The stranger grimaces at AJ before removing his knife and pushing Bea forward, “you better watch your back kid” and with that he runs from the party. Poppy moves towards Bea, her hand cups the part of Bea’s neck with the cut and she turns to look at AJ, whose eyes are blank like he’s just seen a ghost.

“AJ, I-” Bea steps towards AJ who just looks at Bea with grief and embarrassment, “I’m sorry Bea” he puts the gun back in his waistband and runs off without looking back.

“What the fuck, Bea are you okay?” Poppy begins to examine the wound but Bea’s thoughts are enveloped in everything that just happened, her body trembles slightly as she takes in the fact that AJ now has a gun. In the background of the commotion, the fireworks are set off, colouring the sky in an array of colours but the girls can barely focus on them since they knew they were in deep shit.

after the main dancer was chosen for each class, they would complete the choreo and decide formations for their performances. one of the benefits of the main dancer was that they were always center. they also had the benefit of wearing more embellished clothing to stand out (most noticeable in x class, where rian the main dancer was wearing orange while everyone else was wearing green). here is the full list (mnet truly has the WORST camera angles, so i only included the full cam ver of the performances):

the judges shared that even though no:ze was the main dancer/in the center/had the most shiny outfit, they didn't really see her. all the other dancers, in their opinion, stood out and overpowered her.

judges shared that lip j was the stand out of this class. she's the girl on the far left at 0:36. (it was originally her choreo but rian was chosen as the main dancer so that's why she is credited.)

i'm not sure how much creative input the main dancers were given regarding stage design... they didn't show it in the episode so i'm assuming that mnet just told them to show up and perform (because like, the rainbow thing they shot at the end of the leader's performance seemed so random? it didn't match what they were doing). after each performance, the main dancers from each class were asked to pick someone who they thought was the worst dancer. in doing so, the person chosen would lose points for their crew.

judges also chose an mvp crew they thought were the best. prowdmon (monika + lip j + others [sorry i don't know their names. the show really only focuses on these two]) was selected and this gave them the advantage of choosing which crews went against each other in ep4. so, it wasn't a random lottery draw! in the episode, they only showed the part where prowdmon chose to go against wayb (context: no:ze, the main dancer from the leader class, chose monika as the worst dancer. and this made her mad so she was like we're going against wayb - no:ze's crew). i'm not sure why they didn't show how the other crews were paired up. because ya, coca n butter + hook is definitely an interesting match.

also like, wayb was eliminated from the show after ep4's mission.

and it seems like from here on out, there will be a mission each episode to determine who will be eliminated. i'm honestly not too sure. for their next mission, they're doing a mega crew mission and mnet doesn't really explain it; but it seems like each crew is doing a performance on a larger scale (with more members added to their crew). also, like mnet is ass and doesn't upload all the performances onto their channel..... they only upload the ones that were the most popular/had the biggest public reaction which is why i had a hard time finding the clips for the classes mission. hopefully they do from here on out.

(also, pls let me know if i'm oversharing. u mentioned not caring for the competitive nature and drama so i'm not sure if i was adding too much. there really isn't drama imo. mnet tries to do their best to edit and make it seem that way but when u watch the show, the girls truly root for each other and are friends.)

mnet truly has the worst camera angles i hate them so much. also why are they still streaming on a goddamn potato. the quality is SO bad i can barely see anything!! there's a lot of me complaining in this one i'm sorry in advance.

1. assistant class

i have to assume that whoever they chose as the main dancer is the one that stays in centre because i cannot tell from the clothing at all. i don't think she was a standout performer here, but also the camera and the fire effects are WAY too wild to actually get a good grasp on who even was the standout. i also have to assume that the dancers have no say in the design because design is not a big part of street dance and this kind of chaos screams m 'too-much-money-dont-know-how-to-use-it' net. they built this massive set, barely used it, and didn't leave enough room for the proper formation spacing!! ugh. i hope the judges actually got to see a locked off version of this without all that fire in front of the camera because if i were them i would be squinting down the end of my glasses like a grandma at the screen. that's what i was doing anyways but still.

2. leader class

i have to agree, i don't think noze stood out as the main dancer here. and geniunely i cannot tell that they embellished her costume more. like damn, that stylist took a masterclass in subtlety, because i was easily paying more attention to whoever was wearing those massive thigh high cutout garter stockings and woven bodysuit combo. i am assuming that the point of these challenges was probably to be noticed the most so that they can score points and pick who they went up against for the elimination round? i'm not entirely clear but my point remains; ngl i don't really like this method of creating performance because it means that no one is there to create a performance, yanno? troupe/group choreo like this thrives on teamwork to actually make it a good performance. i know it's a pretty classic method of weeding out people for auditions and stuff like that but personally i find it a wholly uncompelling viewing experience, especially when it's a fully produced stage like this. i know everyone very likely gets along behind the scenes but the incohesion of intent is very obvious. also what's up with the assistant class getting a massive set and the leaders getting a bunch of cars and some smoke pyrotechnics? i mean, i am glad they filmed it during the day, but i am confused by the disparity.

3. sub class

i wish i could describe how poorly mnet shot this. it's not a fucking mama stage, it's a dance stage!! we need to see the choreo properly!!!! and together!!! obviously i don't care about stitching together different takes for the final edit but just...not having a continuity at all in the choreo is a bit jarring. again, i am also not sure how one is supposed to evaluate how well these dancers did, because i can barely see what people are doing. or who the main dancers are. i know i'm railing a lot on mnet here but i can't give an accurate reading of the dancers because legitimately it is so hard to tell what's going on. if they want to bill this as a legitimate dance show, why are they shooting it like a kpop performance? the camerawork for kpop serves a specific function: to add to the visual spectacle and to highlight the idols' faces. you don't need either of those things for shoot choreography, so why do we keep getting closeups of dancers' faces? not that these dance videos aren't spectacle-y or fun, because they very much are, but they really suck at their one primary function, which is displaying the choreo.

4. x class

this is definitely the one where the camera work is the closest to what it should be, but then they go and fuck it up by adding rain! just the groundwater would have been fine, but noooo they had to add the extra rain so there would be extra water drops on the lens!! this is my favourite choreo of all four of these, i think there's the most cohesion and (excluding the rain) it's got a good mix of spectacle with the water and the blacklight and the right camera angles to show the choreo mostly well. i still don't understand why they cut in those sections that don't fit with the rest of the flow though. why. you could have one-taked this and it would have looked dope as fuck. i agree that lip j stands out the most, obviously it's her choreo so it's the best suited to her character and abilities.

if it wasn't a random lottery draw they should at least have the courtesy of showing people why who picked who!! that's the most interesting part! and i'm not that surprised about wayb being eliminated, prowdmon really stomped them into the ground with that revenge energy. i'm interested in this larger scale performances concept, because i'm not really sure what that looks like in this particular context. if they do end up on youtube i will review them! and you're not oversharing at all, the context is fine! i don't mind reading it as information, i just don't like actually watching it with my own eyes. i can't watch that kind of thing in reality tv because it makes me want to sit everyone down like a kindergarden teacher and go "ok, now why are we all yelling?". too many years of tense rehearsal conflict negotiation and i just want to whack everyone upside the head. it's not very cathartic for me lmao. i have no doubt that everyone is friends because dance scenes are small and i'm sure they've all worked together lots, but even just the editing sets off my fight or fight reflexes.

y’all, i feel like i need to remind y’all that there’s a huge difference between ignoring what’s going on, and taking a mental break because you’re exhausted with trying to keep up with the situation in the country right now. this shit is no joke and is weighing incredibly heavy on people such as myself and if you need to take a break from this and just log out, please do. please take care of yourself and don’t feel bad that you’re not keeping up with things at every second of the day.

god i keep reading the notes on this post about being privileged to take a break and i feel the need to explain a few things. one, a black man wrote this post. two, i clearly emphasized the point of ignoring what’s going on. I understand that non black people have the privilege of being able to “log out” and not be effected by this. black people like myself don’t have that privilege of just being able to log out. what i’m trying to say with this post is that you shouldn’t be feeling like shit all day and having anxiety attacks and generally feeling incredibly overwhelmed all the time. taking care of your mental health is not up for fucking debate and I don’t care what the color of your skin is, this applies to everyone. take care of yourself mentally and physically. i can’t believe I have to argue that people have the right to care for themselves amidst all the shit going on in the world today.

i’m a white person and bro, the shit going on in the US earlier in the year was a real catalyst to my first psych ward admission (not like police brutality against Black, Indigenous and people of colour, and other marginalised and multiply marginalised populations is a ‘new’ thing).

i felt completely powerless and like i had to prove my whole entire moral worth as a person via social media and while i learnt that the best thing to do was to amplify Black, Indigenous and people of colours voices AND to spread resources and awareness was the best thing to do in that situation, as well as show up to protests and educate ourselves, i just totally shut down as i couldn’t find the RIGHT posts to share, I didn’t want to spread trauma-porn to my BIPOC followers already suffering, and i couldn’t find something to do that seemed authentic and genuine (seeing as this was NOT a new problem), and in my mostly-white social media circles had barely even been addressed before George Floyd.

at one point, i didn’t even know whether we (whites) were doing this for solidarity or purely for reputation, and THAT thought fucks me up.

and i still dont know if my radio silence due to wanting to seem authentic and genuine during this time was more of a reflection of me and my personal faults and schemas and insecurities rather than a genuine desire to be more consistent and mindful in my awareness-spreading and a preference to have in-depth discussions with the people around me about what was and still, always, is going on in the fucked up world we live in

anyway, i still have a lot of guilt and regret over being so silent in that time and wish i could give out a billion of the sincerest apologies to Black, Indigenous and people of colour (and other marginalised identities), who may have seen my internet presence and thought of me as not an ally or safe presence to them. so, for what it’s worth and for whomever may see this, i’m so, so sorry.

i appreciate @colorsinautumn ‘s sentiment of looking after your mental and physical health despite your skin colour. it resolved me of a lot of the shame i’ve been carrying since that time. but i’m still fucking internally debating the quality of my heart (but that’s my own shit to deal with).

If you have the money, I’d highly recommend purchasing the ebook, to support both the author and the publisher (Arsenal Pulp Press is very good and publishes lots of antiracist and queer content from authors with marginalised identities). If you can’t afford the book, https://gen.lib.rus.ec is a way you can get it for free. It’s about the intersectional Disability Justice movement, mutual aid, ‘care webs’ and life with neurodivergence (they have autism and other NDs) chronic illness and disability as a whole as a person of colour. It is an easy and accessible read, with essays in small chunks of writing, and using text-to-speech on iOS or mac, or, apps like Speechify and fonts like OpenDyslexic make it a lot easier.

Q. (Based on Chinese qn) What do you do to enrich yourself when you don’t have a schedule?

HJ: Lately we don’t have any concerts or schedules so ELFs must be also bored. Everyone can go watch our old videos. There are many concert videos as well as variety shows we’ve been on.

HC: Which show was the most memorable and fun to you?

HJ: There was an episode in KBS 체험 삶의 현장 (20060819) where we went to the zoo. The most memorable part was when we fed watermelon to the hippopotamus.

HJ: When I fed the hippopotamus watermelon, it opened its mouth sooooooooo widely. Then I put a hugeeeeeeee piece of watermelon into its mouth. It swallowed well(?). At that moment, I thought, although the hippopotamus is so big, it eating watermelon is still cute.

HJ: I felt it was a little pity when we filmed KBS 체험 삶의 현장. Usually at the end of the show, everyone would ride a unicorn and put the letter into the heart. But because we didn’t film in the studio, we didn’t have this segment, it’s such a pity.

one of the question that hyukjae got was that if he knew that the person who knocked him with a car during the previous broadcast was an elf and then hyuk was like "arent we supposed to be everlasting friends???" then heechul was like "more like ending last friend" 😂😂

hyuk: i dont use cologne. I usually use a body lotion after shower because its dry. I like sweet smells like peach smells

I walk onto the set for my interview. I am a model. I was doing a interview today and I'd seen lots of other people do the interview and it seemed like a good time.

i sit down and we start filming. We get a couple questions in and i’m having fun.

-who is your celebrity crush?

The interviewer asks and immediately i blush and my manager groans. “don’t get her started” she yells so the camera can hear and i giggle.

“my celebrity crush is david dobrik, he’s a vlogger and hes the cutest person on this planet” i laugh and throw the paper towards my manager who was rolling her eyes behind camera.

“what is a vlogger?” The interviewer asks.

“they like video their day and then compile it into a video, in davids case he does it for 4 minutes and 20 seconds” i snort getting a couple laughs. “but him and his friends are awesome, they’re called the vlogsquad and theyre just crazy, but in the best way” i explain and they nod so we continue with the questions.

“if you were to collaborate with one other celebrity who would it be?”

“well if it was modelling i think its only fair to say kendall jenner or something, i met her at the victorias secret show and we exchanged numbers. we talk quite a lot so i think that would be cool” i humbly brag. “But also as im such a huge fan of vlogsquad, id really like to dance with mariah” i giggle and turn my head to the camera. “i think you’d find that two running themes in my life are chipotle and vlogsquad videos” i laugh and shrug. The interview ends and i go home. About a week later the interview airs on youtube and i sit down to watch it, blushing at how much i spoke about david dobrik.

Davids POV*

I was just chilling at my house with todd, Scott, zane, heath, natalie and alex when Jason and Trisha burst in.

“Trisha was watching an interview and you guys need to see it” Jason says collapsing on the couch and connecting to my TV. A moment later the model y/n pops up on the screen, also my celebrity crush. The guys look at me and laugh. Little did we know she had mentioned us.

“Who is your celebrity crush” she is asked and i lean forward.

“my celebrity crush is david dobrik, he’s a vlogger and hes the cutest person on this planet” she laughs and my heart stops. The guys jump up and start freaking out. She starts explaining to everyone wht vlogging is and what we do but i can only hear my heart beating.

“Dude she likes you!” Zane screams.

“She said youre the cutest person on this planet, like how cute. I knew when i saw it i had to show you” trisha laughs. Im still sat on the couch shell shocked.

“Dude” todd hits my arm and a flip switches, i jump up and start woohing. The guys all laugh and do the same patting my back.

“Should i dm her? She might think im weird? What if she didnt mean it and it was just like a joke, shes probably confused or something i mean shes a model. Shes friends with the jenners and she was in the victorias secret show why would she have a crush on me?” I ramble.

“I dont know dog but she does. She likes YOU” jason says pointing the camera in my face that id failed to notice. My face heats up and I lay back on the couch trying to act calm.

A couple days later

Normal POV*

I had seen Jason Nash’s video and it had given me butterflies seeing David’s reaction. I didn’t even comprehend that he could’ve watched the interview but I don’t regret it. I was in the middle of a photo shoot when I’m sat on a chair.

I shrug and start posing when all of a sudden the music stops and I hear a lot of shouts behind me. I turn around quickly and the first person I see is David Dobrik. I almost choke and fall back on my chair but David rushes forward and catches me, holding me bridal style. My eyes widen and he laughs whilst turning me to everyone else, which was surprisingly the most of the rest of the vlogsquad.

I look up at David and he smiles down at me.

“Hi, it’s nice to meet you” He whispers.

“Y-you too” I blush as he sets me on the floor again. I look around at all the vlogsquad waiting to speak with me, watching my reaction. “Omg I need a minute” I choke out crouching on the floor. I hear a lot of laughs and try to calm my breathing. I stand up again and start hugging them as a greeting. When I’ve got through everyone that was there: David, Todd, Scott, Kristen, Jason, Trisha, Carly, Erin, Alex, Corinna, Heath, zane and Mariah, I hold my cheeks in amazement.

“Wait, what is going on? Is this actually real?” I ask earning more laughs.

“We could ask the same to you!” Zane comments and I blush.

“I contacted them after that interview, thought you needed to stop whining on and on about them” my manager smiles. “And david” she adds sending a wink his way. My face drains of colour and I turn to him.

“Oh my god, I’m so embarrassed” I exclaim and he laughs walking forward to hug me again.

“If it helps, you’re my celebrity crush too. I never stop talking about you to the guys” he whispers in my ear. “Do you think when we get a minute alone I could get your number?” He asks quietly pulling away. I raise my eyebrows at him and he smirks. I giggle and send him a wink, confirming.

“So what now” I laugh as everyone awkwardly stands around. The crew had turned the cameras off and I dread the moment it’s uploaded to the internet. The photo shoot is clearly over, considering it wasn’t even real.

“Well why don’t you go get changed and we can hang out” jason smiles and I all too eagerly rush off to change into my regular clothes. When I come back they all smile and we leave, we split off into cars and I near collapse when David takes my hand leading me towards his Tesla. My eyes widen as I look up at him and he smirks.

“You wanna drive?” He grins and my eyes almost pop out.

“You don’t let anyone drive your Tesla” me and Jason say at the same time and we laugh at each other. David shrugs and holds his arm out pointing me towards the door. I smile and head towards the drivers seat. When we get seated the car is silent, Alex, corinna, Jason And Trisha we’re riding with us.

“David you don’t let anyone drive your car!” Trisha exclaims and david groans.

“Why’s everyone saying that” he sighs.

“Because it’s true!” All four of them yell and I blush as he looks at me embarrassed. I lean over and rest my hand on his knee and he seems to calm down. He starts pointing out to me how to put it in drive and everything and I start driving towards the mall so we could all pick up some food. We have the radio on and Jason and david are filming while we all jam out.

“Oh yeah, guys this is y/n” David laughs into his camera so I wave, taking my eyes off the road for a second. Soon enough we reach the mall and wait for the others to arrive, it doesn’t take long. We go to the food court as we all want different things. We agree to meet in the middle and we go off to our respective food places. David and I are the only ones who decide to go to chipotle so we head in that direction. We order and then we’re waiting in line chatting, getting to know each other when there are a bunch of squeals behind us.

“Omg you’re David Dobrik”

“It’s y/n y/l/n”

“Omg are you guys dating?”

A load of teen girls scream. I glance at David and he’s laughing whilst recording them. We say hi to the girls and take pictures. Our food is called so we pick it up and when we turn the group had gotten a lot bigger.

“Look guys, we wanna meet everyone but could you respect that we’re about to eat. Well take pictures after”David says and they all start off into chatter. The only way to get to the “squad” who were sat in the food court with their respective meals was to go through the group. So, David laces his hand in mine and pulls me with him through the crowd. I’m blushing as he keeps hold of my hand even as we get passed the group and all the way to the table. We sit down and are teased for it of course, but David waves it off as just trying to get through the group. We finish our food in peace and then split off to take pictures.

When we’re done we decide to go back to David’s, to avoid another situation like this. Some people go home, so it leaves Jason, Trisha, corinna, Todd, Scott, Kristen, Heath, Mariah and zane going back to David’s.

“Well this was a totally unplanned day, I got to meet my favourite people, drive David’s Tesla and I’m going to his house” I joke and they all laugh. We make it to David’s and the boys immediately crack out the beers. I meet natalie, giving her a huge hug and she seems ecstatic that I wanted to meet her. We all sit on the couch and they take turns getting to know me better.

“I feel like a make a wish kid or something” I snort and they laugh.

“You’re part of the squad now kid” Todd smiles hitting my foot with his. I smile wide and look towards David who smiles brightly at me and my heart leaps.

“I think we gotta mention though how david was just as equally shitting bricks this morning” corinna teases.

“Yeah you’re his celebrity crush too, nonstop talks about you” jason chimes in.

“He watched the entire VS show just to see you in it” Todd winks and David groans.

“Guys can you stop”

“I think it’s cute. Maybe I’ll show you one of my outfits one day” I giggle as a joke and the guys all ‘ooooh’ whilst David goes bright red.

Everyone falls into their own conversations so I scoot closer to David who was pressed into the corner of the couch.

“I still can’t believe I’m here” i exclaim and he laughs resting his arms behind my head.

“I can’t believe a model is sitting on my couch. A model who has a crush on ME” He sticks his tongue out and I smile.

“Are you joking? You’re hot as fuck David” I grin and he stops his playful grin, getting more serious.

“Do you wanna go see my garden?” He blurts and I laugh, nodding and getting up, pulling him up with me.

We’re barely noticed as we head outside going right to the end of the garden. The sun had started to set as we lean against his glass fence.

“I feel like we’ve known each other for ages, not just today” he whispers.

“Me too. I’d really like to get to know you more though, I don’t want you to just be my celebrity crush” I whisper back. He bites his lip and turns his head towards me.

“Is it absolutely too soon if I were to kiss you right now” He asks gently and I shrug.

“Life’s to short for waiting” I mumble and grab the back of his hair softly pulling him towards me and connecting our lips. He wraps his arms around my waist and we smile into the kiss.

“That was amazing” I comment and he raises his eyebrows.

“So I can do it again” he teases.

“You better” I joke as he captures my lips with his again, slowly moving to prod my lips with his tongue. I open my mouth slightly and he takes the opportunity to slip his tongue in. We start making out when suddenly there are a lot of shouts and lights pointed towards us. We pull away out of breath and laugh as everyone freaks out.

the riley hair doesn’t have a clip so I am going to assume you mean the Peyton hair since it was released in the same month. It wouldn’t really be possible to do Peyton without the clip since it has a part of the hair going up into the clip. Without it there would be a hole and if the hole was filled in it would still look weird since the hair would be going up into nothing. I’m sorry <3

so, being a curious young person— you wanted to make a tiktok, where you went on omegle just to speak to people for fun

and inside of your head, you’re kinda thinking that “this is dumb, omg im going to get flashed on there.” also while you were setting up your laptop

but you just used the appropriate tags and !! you were set off for an adventure

you set your phone aside, and you filmed most of the experience— cutting out the not so interesting encounters out of your tiktok

and then came on a dude, who had a,, unique reaction. he didn’t seem all that fishy— until he asked you for your snap (your social medias, essentially)

“you’re kinda cute, y’know. how did i not see you before?”

you shake your head, “oh no no! i appreciate your compliment, but i’m very much taken!” your mind immediately flashing back to the image of your icyhot boyfriend

“nahh you’re lying! i don’t see any dude back there”

oh,, and that was because shouto was out getting snacks 🧎 “no really dude, i appreciate it! i’m very much taken and being disloyal is out of the question!”

this dude just kept insisting and insisting, and due to the struggle— you weren’t able to hear the door knob jiggle

“love— next time, let me in on your tiktoks.” he says, running a thumb along your cheek lightly. because he was actually quite entertained, putting everything aside

bakugou katsuki

as if bakugou katsuki would let you go on OMEGLE, a place that’s known for having the sketchiest people to ever exist— but make it virtual

but being with you made him realize that well,, if you want to do something, you’ll go through lengths just to do it.

even the great bakugou katsuki can’t really stop you. whatever makes you happy— but oh, that doesn’t mean he doesn’t highly discourage it

which lead you to go on omegle for a tiktok in the other room, while bakugou exercised in the very next room.

when you told him that you wanted to film a tiktok, bakugou only shrugged— “don’t do overly dumb shit.” was what he only told you and he left the door open too

you then set up your phone and laptop, applied the appropriate tags— and went off to make your tiktok

you only filmed the interesting encounters, and the people you met on there were very diverse in personality and just,, in general.

after the 4th encounter, then came a rather interesting dude. he didn’t seem all that ordinary but he wasn’t spectacular. he was just nice

and the conversation was rather normal— until he started asking for your socials “putting everything aside, do you have social media? you’re really cute.”

you reject immediately, “oh no, i appreciate your words but— i already have a boyfriend.”

you just have to hope that he noticed bakugou walking back and forth with equipment, but with his next words— that doesn’t seem to be the case

“i didn’t see anyone back there, a simple no would’ve been sufficient instead.” uh oh

“no really, i—” and before things escalated, katsuki’s head peaked through the door frame, freshly out of the shower “are you almost done, idiot?”

the dude literally looked behind you, and thought “oh shit, their boyfriend is bakugou fucking katsuki.” because bakugou is famous for,, multiple different reasons

the dude’s camera shakes in terror, “oh uhm,, it was nice meeting you!” not long before he dips from of the conversation, never to be seen again.

closing your laptop— you end the tiktok while bursting into laughter, and this action just confused katsuki ever further. he heard you speaking to someone, and when he looked, the person was nowhere to be seen

“what are you laughing at??”

“nothing katsuki, i was laughing at the tiktok i just made.”

then— you figured that it would be best to tell katsuki now that you were on omegle (long story short, he wasn’t pleased)

he scolded you that you shouldn’t be on omegle, but let’s be honest, he couldn’t stay mad at you— so he just cuddles the frustration away

when you upload the tiktok the following hours, it blows up pretty quickly—with comments like “LOL IS THAT BAKUGOU KATSUKI??” “he had guts until he saw bakugou katsuki 💀” “tbh i’d be scared too”

and when you report the news the katsuki, he smirks— “as he should be.”

at this point, izuku is very much used to your shenanigans on tiktok. he’s very supportive of whatever you do all in all

but, about omegle,,, yeah,, as much as he trusts you— he does not trust omegle. he’s aware that it’s a shady place, and he doesn’t advise that you do go on that website bc he cares

so when you brought up the tiktok idea, he proposed that he’d be there, right beside you just to monitor if anyone’s being weird :)

and that’s great! because you also wanted to ask if he wanted to be a reoccuring guest in your tiktok— and of course, what kind of boyfriend would he be if he opposed?

he helps you set up your laptop and phone— all of that sort of stuff, and then you guys were off to make an interesting tiktok

oh, but izuku did apply the appropriate tags because he didn’t want you to see odd things he was secretly nervous but,, you were very ethusiastic, so he was too.

the first several people were interesting in their own way— especially with their reactions to your boyfriend appearing on screen

usually, they’d back off with, and comment on how cute your boyfriend is— wishing the both of you well before calmly leaving to meet new people,

that was how it was, until you met this person in particular.

he sounded very,, egotistical— i wouldn’t say that because you’ve just met the dude, but he acted like everyone wanted him or it sounded like that

then he says, “you definitely have a phone number, right? you’re cute, just my type.” wkdksmd this is awkward since izuku’s right beside you, but he’s just outside of the frame

then, izuku pops out of the frame— in all his cute ass glory, he gives a small wave to the not so pleased stranger

“please, that’s your boyfriend?” he scoffs, “with those arms, he looks like he could be your little brother! now let me ask again—”

it’s really weird?? because have you seen izuku’s gainz?? and this dude’s audacity is extraordinary.

and this new show was called The Heroic Quest of the Valiant Prince Ivandoe (probably the longest name for a CN original ever, correct me if i'm wrong)

and by "show", i mean 10 3 Minute Shorts That Are Unlockable By Playing An Online Game That They Took Off Their Site And Is Pretty Much Unaccessible From Anywhere Not In EMEA Therefore A Lot Of People Don't Know This Show Exists And It Pisses Me Off™.

now before you whip out your keyboards and get ready to furiously type "GUMBALL RIPOFF",,,,please listen to what i said earlier,,,,same studio,,,,and the animators from the show made this,,,,this isn't bocquelet's baby but it's got the same animators

and like...this show was slept on the HARDEST of any other CN show and was INSANELY underappreciated. this beats sheep in the big city levels of overlooked. this is a whole new league.

like...y'all flat out forgot it existed. big time. like yeah y'all might've watched that one video vailskibum made about it but then y'all walked right off. this show has a smaller fandom than lyon mississippi and that is a whole other level of small. in fact, there's pretty much no fandom, yeah, literally no fandom. at all.

the only way i could watch it was through uploads on dailymotion (and very recently this dude on youtube has every episode uploaded atm but i can't see that lasting before 2020). no legal way i could watch the show because it also didn't come to the USA and i am so pissed about that :(

the most further west the show went was brazil and latin america in july 2018 but no new countries since...did they think americans couldn't handle how authentically scandinavian it was??? did they think we were too stupid to differentiate it from gumball??? i swear we've been screwed over time and time and time and time again by companies becuase they thought we were too stupid for more mind challenging and different stuff.

i mean look at the ico box art for US vs. EU and japan. yikes.

i'm also crazy for these backgrounds.

the thing that both CNSE shows have most in common is the mixed media animation style. however, while TAWOG just took pictures and used those as references for 3d rendered backgrounds, ivandoe literally had WHOLE SETS built specifically for certain episodes, with real tree bark used for trees and just- AAGH ITS SO BEAUTIFUL. i could understand why it's not a full series because the backgrounds themselves had so much work put into them. if they picked it up for a full series then they might've had to take the TAWOG route and make the backgrounds 3D.

after the first 10 episodes came out and europe had a huge ivandoe party in the beginning of 2018, it's as if the show just fizzled out of existence. no news, no nothing. to my knowledge, the only thing CNSE is working on at the moment is eliott from earth. but i would love to see some new ivandoe related-content, that could possibly come to the US and expand the fandom a little. even though i love TAWOG much more, i really feel like i'm the only one still thinking about this show and wishing more people talked about it. i've heard that the show just now in 2019 came to the philippines, so it still has potential to come over here (lmao just watch us be like the last country in the world for ivandoe to get to). this show had so much potential...

i'm also gonna post this on other outlets so people can see it. i don't want this show to forever be overlooked like this.

THIS IS FREAKING JIANG JINGZUO ALL OVER AGAIN BUT THEY DIDNT LET HIM SPEAK WTFFFFF ok if youre gonna keep giving zhen nan and jin fan screentime bc yall regret eliminating them so early why you dont give them screentime at the end when it really matters????? i wanna see what zhen nan would say (jingzuo’s last minute screentime got him a lot of attention too... the fact that they didnt give zhen nan any is NOT HELPING) and i wanna see jin fan and chen youwei’s freaking last friendship bc youwei was rooting for him the whole time bc HE KNOWS JIN FAN DESERVES TO MAKE IT!!!!

i cant believe chen you made it and daniel didnt.... also im so sad that like ou tianrui was the only one who didnt make it from bg project, that must be so sad... also sad that yao chi is the only one from mavericks that made it... losing all your closest friends at once :c im happy for guan yue and mingming going up, they deserve it

okay not gonna lie i didnt cry as much as i thought i would. yes it was sad but i kinda already knew that jin fan and zhen nan werent gonna make it so i was more just FRUSTRATED AND ANGRY watching the whole thing and seeing them get random bits of screentime (YOURE TOO LATE IQIYI) but i heard rumors and then when i saw those goodbye videos they uploaded on weibo today....... my heart sank like oh goodness its real...... i cant live in denial forever.... I STILL CANT BELIEVE ZHEN NAN WAS FREAKING 61 AND JIN FAN WAS FREAKING UNDERAPPRECIATED WTFFFFF everyone on jin fan’s team im sure was rooting for him bc they knew how he was so vital to their success --- he literally taught them all the choreo wtf chen youwei would be nothing without jin fan..... ughhhh alsdkjalsdkjlaks this is so frustrating im so sad for him....... but now i just really wish jin fan and zhen nan do some really cool stuff and stay active while they wait for the others. i think its likely (sadly) that zhan yu will get eliminated the next round, (but im honestly surprised and grateful that the special teachers recognized his talent! he realllyy killed that ‘retreat’ stage even tho zhenning is getting all the attention) and lin mo is liked by iqiyi (i think) but i dont think he has enough potential to actually make it into the top 9... or maybe its just my wishful thinking bc i hope mr.tyger can go on promoting without jia yi, but without jia yi AND lin mo, itd get pretty rough for them, so if at least lin mo stays behind with mr. tyger, i think they could potentially still do somewhat well in the meantime while jia yi goes off to debut with the top 9 and they wait for him to come back

and now for my random predictions:

right now its rather fixed that wenhan, guan yue, and jia yi will make it. I think youwei, huaiwei, mingming, chunyang, wang jiayi are all likely, which means most of them will make it (but probably not all), and then xixi.... honestly i feel like xixi wont make it (BUT I REALLY LIKE XIXI) but i think iqiyi doesnt like him enough to give him enough screentime for him to make it (at least at this current rate....) also please note that YAO MINGMING WAS THE ONLY ONE FROM THE TOP 9 who did NOT get to go on that trip to leave dachang coughiqiyihatesmingming but luckily/hopefully mingming is popular enough to get votes anyway, LIKE MINE BC I VOTE FOR MINGMING). other than the current top 9, I think its likely either shi zhan or li zhenning or deng chaoyuan will make it. zhenning is the lowest of the three right now, but iqiyi likes him and hes gotten the approval of all the judges AND he was able to shoot up a ridiculous amount from pretty much just ONE DAY of voting (maybe a week at max, counting from the time they released the solo cams), and these votes have been tallying for the past month. so can you imagine how much more he’ll shoot up next time? he has a ton of potential to make it. shi zhan is already up there but iqiyi really likes him too bc of how hilarious he is, and jolin’s approved his smile so i can see him getting more and more screentime too. yao chi i think is also likely, bc he won 1st place visuals hahah that gets him attention from the public but also the staff, so i think theyll give him more and more screentime too. plus he has a touching backstory and mc jin has approved of him too. i think yao chi is someone who they’ve depicted as really humble and works really hard, and they like his smile. (who doesnt hahaha) but ofc there’s probably gonna be a lot of toss up in the rankings yet to come. from ip1 we learned that 70% of the kids were fixed from the start hahaha but 2-3 of them can come from behind, so who knows. iqiyi seems to really like cheche and wangzhe (how did wangzhe and wu chengze get to go on the trip to leave dachang but not mingming?? i mean i really like chengze tbh but i was just so surprised he was there! hahaha it seems so random bc hes #22?? i mean good for him but still)

anyway im all in all kinda all tired from watching a stressful 3 hrs lol but tbh i feel like they didnt show as much of the fun hotpot time as id hoped... and what about all the other rankings besides #1 visual? i dont really understand why they took a few random kids (who, no surprise, all dont get eliminated this ep) out of dachang for that trip.... i like a lot of those kids honestly, but id rather have seen more of the big group bonding / singing over hotpot (giving some of the kids who get eliminated some last screentime before they leave) or at least like find out who ranked in #1 boyfriend or something like that hahaha.... oh well..... now its time for me to go wallow in some mr tyger content so i can mourn the loss of our two children....
