as cliche and over-used as it is, you met bf!corpse in an among us lobby. but you two had heard of eachother before, seeing as youre in the same faceless community.

your followings seemed to have a lot of crossover, so when you met, it was a dream come true for your communites. and for you two, it was nice having someone understand what it was like to be faceless.

overtime, you two grew closer, hanging out outside of streams. and at some point, you got comfortable enough eachothers faces.

when your chat found out, it became the only thing they could talk about for a good two days on twitter.

"guys, corpse looks really cool," you said to your chat. you and corpse were streaming on your channel, just talking and catching up. his scoff made you giggle quietly. "im not joking, he's kinda... attractive."

"and yn looks nothing like how she described herself," he said, laughing at how much prettier he thought you were.

"and his hair is actually curly," you say.

then, you both went on anthony padilla's channel as a part of his 'I spent a day with...' series. and you revealed that you were doing the interview on the same day.

"i mean, corpse is the only other youtuber that knows what i look like," you state simply. "if im honest, the main reason im here is because this is the first time im meeting up with him in person."

thankfully, no one was suprised when they heard that in the video. but thats just because corpse posted a video of you two playing rock-paper-scissors.

it started off silent, you two doing the motions silently. corpse played scissors, you played rock. he sighed. another up and down motion. he played scissors, you played paper. you took a deep breath. another up and down. he played rock, you played rock. you scoffed and cracked your knuckles. one more time. he played paper, you played scissors.

"fuck!" he yelled loudly as you laughed manaically in the background.

during this meet up, you stayed at his apartment. and it just so happened you got to spend more time with him. slowly, you both started developing further feelings for eachother.

it showed itself in you two being cuddly, touchy with eachother. both of you tiptoeing round the topic of the weird dynamic. neither of you actually choosing to say anything or admit your feelings.

it really set in when he started unironically calling you "baby". it gave you butterflies and he felt his face heat up as the words left his mouth.

and when you had to leave, it was far more intense than you had expected.

"thank you for letting me stay here," you told him greatfully. he smiled softly at you, going in for a hug. you smiled and felt yourself melt into his arms.

you two pulled away briefly, looking into eachothers eyes. you dont know when it really happened, but the next moment, youre lips are on eachothers.

when you went back home, it was like you two know you were dating. but you never actually said it. it just felt right.

sorry if it'a s cop out answer but there isn't just one... it depends on what i'm in a mood for on any given day! sometimes it's a 10k pwp (x), sometimes it's a porny piece doubling as a character study (x), sometimes it's a devastating canon divergence story that's pretty much Literature (x), sometimes it's a canon divergence that maybe shouldn't work, but does (x), sometimes it's a fun au (x), sometimes it's a perfectly sized slice of life oneshot (x). you know?

i've been a big slacker keeping up with fics lately because work's been crazy for me BUT i tend to pretty much only read loustat because i'm... boring? i guess? lol. i love an AU setting and i do like to read a bit of angst because i'm never going to write it so it's a nice departure from my candy-coated fics. 🤣 however i am a slut for a happy ending for the most part.

"I try to be the chill girl, but honestly, I'm not." by pocketsun loustat trying to be friends with benefits. i am a simple woman with simple romcom tastes. i love this trope and i loved this fic. 10/10 (cannot recommend pocketsun's present day fics enough)

"Days Of Beauty" by lesfleursrouges i will always sit my ass down for a 5 +1 fic. this is the only loustat one i've come across so far. and it's perfect. hot, sexy, sweet, devastating.

"cord of communion" by themasterletters listen this fic updated DAILY and i would just refresh ao3 by the hour when i got home from work waiting for the next chapter. dopamine hit every time. there's a reason this fic is so popular. superb writing.

"The Saint" by dirtygoldensoul is cheating okay? no. is cheating okay when louis and lestat do it? yes! no but in all seriousness, this fic is just such a great, engaging story. the build up in this is A+.

"Part of Your World" by weathermood i went a little cuckoo bananas (affectionate) with every chapter of this fic. like, gasping and giggling with every turn. i NEVER thought i would ever read a fantasy AU like this (and yes, i recognize that they are normally vampires lol) simply because i had not dabbled in it in the past, but i'm so glad i did. WOOO BOY it's hot.

"Wishful Desires" by DolphinSpirit deeply obsessed with single dad louis in this-- it's like my kryptonite. this fic is fun, it's soothing, it's so bingeable. there's definitely angst, but this feels like a big hug.

"blood of my blood, bone of my bone" by deadcryptid i've never gotten into outlander, but this AU was so wonderfully written. i love an "oh no we HAVE to get married" situation.

"do wrong right" by sightetsound a little missing scene, if you will. a missing scene we all wanted to see. this is the best fan service. short and sexy. read it! read it now! "Backslide" by emofujoshi (WIP) this fic is insane and i mean that in the best way possible. i'm like a rabid dog whenever it updates. loustat is just so in character in this AU. incredible.

"reformation" by verseau (WIP) the dialogue in this is SO FUCKING GOOD...PHEW. this fic is dark, painful, sexy, fun, wild, etc. the smut has me....clutching my metaphorical pearls.

I'm simply not compelled by Piarles, but I've never been compelled by friends to lovers type ships because that's not what I enjoy. I think Piarles makes for an excellent friends to lovers, as does Maxiel but considering my taste in ships outside of F1 is all Rhaenicent, Drarry, Stevetony–Lestappen was going to be a no brainer for me. If I thought their dynamic was just 'best friends', I wouldn't enjoy it. Simple as.

anon i was waiting for the weekend to answer this ask properly but due to recent events. well.

i just think it's really sweet that kniesy likes boys with kind smiles and big hearts who are thoughtful and consider their words carefully and care about being involved in the community and are good with kids and enjoy journaling and hiking and have clearly focused on perfecting the foundational skills of their respective divisions and know how to stay grounded in the present moment. it's just really neat.

hm. anon, I fear this is a far larger can of worms than you probably anticipated. I'm going to spare you the worst of it by only giving you a short version, but be careful what you wish for.

I'm also hiding it under a cut because even the short version is embarrassingly long.

I'm hardly a connoisseur of omegaverse content, nor would I consider myself anywhere near an expert. I don't want to speak for all fics as I've admittedly not read many. I did do my master's diss about legal gender recognition, so this is more about gender and philosophically sound worldbuilding than an indictment of any particular writing or story tbh.

the short answer is I find omegaverse worldbuilding really interesting, but I've never fully been able to enjoy it due to the way a/b/o identities tend to have a biological determinist slant to them imo, and tendency for a lack of real world implications of what the omegaverse does to gender and character interactions anywhere outside the bedroom. I'd love to figure out a version that's more inclusive and philosophically/ideologically consistent, both with itself and with my own views on real life gender (basically, I want to make it make more sense, have less biological determinism, and be more inclusive of the wider range of human experiences). this is a big task, and ngl I haven't achieved it and don't anticipate doing so any time soon. I have like, a concept in my head, taking apart all the key pieces and putting them together again but different, but to make it thorough enough would require more effort and time than I have because I'm like, employed 😔

I feel like someday if I ever get invited to a powerpoint night though, this could be It.

one thing i’ve noticed that i think is important to remember is that readers usually experience a different kind of flow than the writer does. as a writer you fine tune the wording and read each paragraph slowly, individually in your head while proofreading and etc, but as a reader it flows by very quickly!!!!! so it’s easy to get into the illusion of ’eugh, this sounds off…..’ <- when the average reader would not feel that way in the slightest </3 so don’t be too hard on yourself!!! in general flow and rhythm is something you grow into by reading and writing a lot. one way to improve is by imitating the flow of some work you feel gets it completely right / paying attention to what that author does— do they mix short sentences with longer ones? do they explain every single action or skip around in the narrative? there’s no wrong way to structure a story, so if one part is dragging on in your mind there’s no shame in skipping it. there’s also no going wrong with wording, everyone has their own style …… i like long sentences and excessive — / ; / , usage LMAO but flatter rhythms don’t mess up the flow as much as you might think!!!!!!!!

anyway …. it’s hard to give advice since it’s so difficult lmao but try paying attention to the rhythm and flow and pacing you find in works you like, and go from there :3 experimenting is always good!!!!! and again doooon’t beat yourself up bc god knows figuring out the flow of ur own story is hellish LMAO…… you’re doing great . and i love you <3

I think rehashing the same conversation about this situation will make it harder for George to leave it in the rear view mirror. I could never imagine continually rehashing the Manatreed stuff months down the line of our own volition the same way we are talking about the Gogcident now two months out from it. I think as long as people are making videos getting millions of views on the situation and people are trying to see if they are portraying reliable info, the discussion is bound to be brought up. Hell, even the dream allegations sometimes still get brought up. I think it's just bound to happen although once dteam activity begins again, i think conversation will slowly die out
