I keep going back to the first sentence of The Final Problem, because every single freaking word of it hits like a ton of bricks.

This is obituary language. With a heavy heart. Was distinguished. Watson is always talking about things that have happened, but with this choice of words he's talking about things that will never happen again.

He never says it directly, he really doesn't want to--

But he couldn't possibly make it any clearer:

Sherlock Holmes is dead.

At the time he’s writing this, Sherlock Holmes has been dead for two years and Watson is having to watch his best friend's legacy be torn to shreds by support for the offending party.

Hey doc, I know your list of questions must be long, but how do you feel about your fellow mercy. Also do you have any nickname for any of them?

ah, hm, i have plenty to say about each of them but i will not bore you with the details in this post.. in general, the whole team can certainly be annoying to me at times, but i dont truly dislike any of them! i may have a favorite, but each of them are skilled on the battlefield in their own ways. both on the battlefield and off of it i can find things i like and dislike about each of them... but as a whole i would say i find my team to be.. hm. interesting. equal parts engaging and frustrating. both a pleasure and a pain to work with.

as far as nicknames go, i can just call each of them by their actual names, but a few of them have earned nicknames. only for special cases though

Did you ever read PowerPuff girls D the big crossover comic. It's was so successful that someone made a fighting game for it. And it has a fully animated opening for the comic on YouTube. In my opinion it's one of the greatest fan made comics out there.

I know about it, have answered very brief asks about it before, and am not a fan. I was a little hesitant to answer this because I know there are a lot of other people who follow my blog and are also not fans (so I’ll tag accordingly for blacklists) but, uh… there’s a lot of questionable content in the series to say the least and, for me, I guess aside from the controversy the creator’s been involved in… not a fan of crossover stuff to begin with.

Then one dude nearly fucking kills himself and now everyone thinks he's dead, so he just rolls with it and fakes his death.
