Never played a Fate game or watched any of the animes really. But I started playing Fate/Samurai Remnant bc I wanted to play a hack n slash kinda game & it got generally good reviews (unlike ffxvi, the other game I was looking at for this wish of mine, which ppl continuously said was pretty but kinda shallow writing-wise)

KBS Hall day 2 dir en grey who is hell for live review. Yes we’re doing two in one day haha.

Today was my last show😭i felt a little emotional all day. It started out with getting numbers for merch and the special sticker was Kyo!! Unfortunately no shiny for me.

After getting the stickers we went back to the hotel to get ready and chill for a while until the concert started. We did visit big boss!!

A japanese mutual messaged me in line for merch to say hi and gave me these amazing stickers she made🥹

I had number 979 but followed some guys into the push and actually ended up with quite a good spot in front of Kaoru where i could see everyone quite well🥰.

Kaoru wore the same outfit as Zepp and Kyo was in the same black get up again. Ngl i was a little disappointed we didnt get at least one dramatic look but it was also nice to see him comfy like this. (And the bobaaas!)

Godddss the Conceived sorrow, dozing green & IIId empire combo killed me in the best possible way. Also as a Vulgar lover it was nice to see everyone cheer for iiid empire hahaha. I was aorund some Kyo/Kaoru fanboys and it was good vibes. Even though there was a push at first, i could just move around later and wasnt too squished and we were all headbanging and having a good time. KBS hall was definitely a great vibe!!

Toshiya ended up throwing some of Kaorus picks but unfortunately all near the front.

Ok ill have to try to write out everything i've got so far!

So the original premise was that ingo and emmet got mixed up and ingo got sent to hell instead of emmet as an oopsie (emmet didnt do anything overly bad in life but heaven/hell stuff is so arbitrary they probably just made a weird decision somewhere down the line lol) but i thinkkk i have switched it to Ingo gets sent to hell because Volo successfully sacrificed him in a ritual and emmet, while dying in the same place, wasnt actually part of it so normal rules still applied to him. Ingo's soul is all messed up and corrupted because of the ritual which caused his amnesia. Emmet finds out about Ingo being sent to hell after he cant find ingo anywhere in heaven and rightfully gets upset at heaven's lack of action because he see's ingo's situation as a huge injustice. So Emmet's whole thing is basically just causing problems until he finds his way to hell and reunites with ingo.

Ingo's situation is where the fun is lol. So he wakes up after spawning in hell and is just a total odd-ball. Half because he doesnt remember ANYTHING from before he died. Maybe not even his name? Which is weird. And also because he's a total sweetheart. No one can figure out why he's even there because it's not like he's a hellborn so he must have done something to end up in hell. After a brief period of wandering around aimlessly, Lady Sneasler, who is an overlord in this au, kinda adopts him and takes him places because she thinks hes so charming and adorable. Melli is just a guy that hangs around lady sneasler even though he acts like he doesnt like her? She's the poison overlord (kinda like an aqua tofana situation for sneasler) and melli is a poison guy. So they kinda just fall into the same group. So they both become friends of Ingo. After a while of character introductions and some brief fun stuff like Sneasler getting Ingo to do all kinds of fun stuff he probably wouldnt do on his own (like the clubbing thing lmao) Ingo has his first blackout, probably triggered by some sort of memory thing, and its kinda terrifying. When he has those blackouts he shifts into his full demon form and his power goes haywire causing a lot of destruction. Its a huge shock because normally regular sinner demons dont really have much in terms of inherent power and also because Ingo cant actually use his powers while conscious so there was no sign of him being capable of that level of chaos. Anyway, after he has his little blackout his body sustains damage from exerting that kind of power and is kinda down for the count for a while afterwards. His story from there on is figuring out what is going on with him and trying to stop those blackouts before it either destroys him or a good chunk of the city, whichever comes first lmao. Sneasler is kinda just there to reign in ingo and melli she just loves a good show lol Melli is kinda where i wanna connect it more to the existing hazbin characters/storyline. Because this is lowkey more of a crossover. He accidentally becomes charlie's new pet project which no one is a fan of 😂 melli did not volunteer for this at all but his character arc is learning to make friends and care about other people after pushing people away for so long because he's a huge ball of self-hatred. He's kinda perfect for the "i can fix him" thing the hotel is all about. SO he's stuck learning to become a better person and being the narrative connection back to the core of the actual show lmao. Not sure if they ever even stay at the hotel. Maybe ingo and melli could flip flop between sneasler's place and the hotel. They dont actually have places of their own so its one or the other. In terms of intra character interactions i think its like this (this is prolly set post-s1 so no sir pentious): Charlie: thinks ingo is nice, wants to fix melli and is working with ingo to do this. Her relationship w sneasler is similar to rosie in my head. Alastor: finds Ingo somewhat threatening because Ingo can read him like a book. would otherwise find him pleasant but because he has a hard time keeping up his mysterious scary image around him he avoids him if possible. Ingo really likes him because "he reminds him of someone but he cant put a finger on it", will teleport away if melli is in the vicinity, finds sneasler charming. would gossip with her 10/10. When emmet shows up they try to kill each other which is entirely unsurprising. Everyone else in the hotel is more or less "theres something not right about that ingo guy but he's nice enough i guess", "FUCK melli get him OUT OF HERE", and "lady sneasler is chill" and when emmet shows up theyre just like "oh this explains why he likes alastor so much. Now theres TWO OF THEM." I would like to develop the other character's opinions on the situation more but this is getting. so so long. misc other character stuff: 

Lady sneasler still has sneasels, usually 3 of them. they just have tiny wings and horns but otherwise look like regular sneasels. No clue what their deal is they just exist. 

Rosie and Sneasler get along great. they are kinda similar but fill different power-niches in hell. 

Rosie finds ingo SO charming. She loves his odd vintage flair despite literally dying like. in the 2020s lol. He's very popular in cannibal town because he's a train freak and edwardians love trains. He takes the cute edwardian cannibal kiddies on train rides.

im not really sure what goes on with emmet in this au i just know he's having a shit time of it and eventually finds ingo. I havent decided if he actually falls or just leaves heaven because it sucks and no one cares enough to stop him. Also only slightly related but i actually have a voice-canon for him which is will wood which works great for this au lmao. Also emmet plays killer jazz piano and alastor is so mad about it because its actually good.

emmet and alastor dont really have all that much in common besides the smile thing but its just enough for them to beef over it. really its a similar feud as alastor and lucifer, alastor sees emmet as a threat both because of his power and the smile thing and emmet doesnt like that ingo is following alastor around like a lost puppy. emmet is def way less mysterious, he's just pissed that his brother is suffering even if ingo doesnt seem to notice his own problems.

volo doesnt really come back up in this au because he's still alive. just imagine that akari is kicking his ass in the living world or something lmao. 

i cant decide if pokemon exist in this universe. It would be funny tho to have chandelure exist in a world where souls are like whole ass people who can die for a second time. worlds nicest guy's pet lamp eats people until theyre perma-dead for breakfast.

Elesa (and probably also drayden and iris depening on your headcanons) are very sad :( i like emmet/elesa so it makes it extra hard on elesa tho. there is no solution for this.

not sure what the arceus situation is here. hazbin as far as i know doesnt have a canon god design so for all we know god could be a dumbass llama i guess. its doesnt really matter besides stylizing volo's ritual

I forgot how much I loved bastard, asshole Aziraphale. TV him is characterized as 100% good, better than heaven dude which isn't bad.. and hes very fluffy and adorable. But i always liked the difference between that and crowley being a demon and yet nice. i always missed him calling him "my dear" too. If theyre gonna make them lovey dovey in TV, make him call him my dear damn it!!

As a book fan too, i personally loved s2. But reading your points made me realize it wasnt completely perfect so I respect your side. I do hope s3 turns out to be better than our expectations so you can tune back to it again. I just want you to have more content that you can enjoy even if it's completely new stuff. I understand the feeling so bad of having new stuff but being unable to enjoy it (a diff show for me). Makes you wonder what kind of plot he and Terry originally planned for all this fanservicey stuff to happen. I agree about the book part too, Crowley would never throw those around! With the finale,, hmmm I think TV!Azira's characterization def plays a part in why he did it. TV!him screams as someone who is still insecure about being an angel and losing his privileges. So he took the only opportunity he could to change heaven so he and Crowley could live in peace, after seeing Gabriel who is alr so powerful, be cast away after that decision. I'm curious though, how would you think book!him would think in this decision?? With an Armageddon 2 coming up again I can't imagine of anything else the two of them could do to fight it again w/o an influence in higher power.

With the way we can suggest certain things that might influence the OG timeline (like suggesting to Luci where to hide Goldie), do you think us being here is creating some sort of a time loop paradox? Like the Exchange program was highly influenced by MC's future-past self in OldTimey Devildom, but OldTImey Devildom wouldn't have existed without Exchange Program MC and it's all just a huge timeline mess (or, as Nightbringer put it, like mud).

Plus if that's the case, then us going back to our "regular" timeline probably erased the boys' memory of us.

Anyways I'm just imagining MC making it back to their normal spacetime and having to explain what happened to their demons (and maybe them unlocking their memories of OldTimey us, idk) and I'm curious what your thoughts are

ok im not very far in but i can tell you this

personally, i'm not a huge fan of time travel tropes. its a lot to wrap my head around but i do think from a timeline standpoint its gonna change things and that can be fun to think about. i just gotta wrapp my head around it for a sec 😅

i think the boys would all have different reactions do it. considering/assuming they have memories of og obey me events and nightbringer, i think everything would make more and less sense at the same time.

mc is probably going to be incredibly confused (when aren't they tbh) and the boys are going to think everything happened. linear-ly.

from mc's perspective, they got to the devildom but were sent back in time later. according to the demons & co. (solomon, simeon, etc.), they met mc, then they left (?), and diavolo brought them back from the human world because of the exchange program without any memories of the demon world. however it's mc's actual first time in the devildom. maybe this erases the boys memories too.

i believe, knowing what we do about barbatos, that he's the one at fault for all the time travel stuff and he's the unknown person at the beginning of nightbringer. maybe im wrong. idk i think its the only reasonable explanation based on the characters we know so far.

there's a lot of ways this could go, but lets assume no one loses their memories when they come back to the "present", mc's memory is gonna be a lot different than the boys because they did things out of order. i think this is where i get to finally your question (I tend to ramble, can't you tell 😂)

i think lucifer takes it the best. he knows barbatos is powerful and figures this kind of magic isn't out of the question. he's glad to have you back, though to him it didn't seem like you were gone at all. he also apologizes for any way his past self might have treated you since it was directly after the celestial war.

mammon is a different story. he gives up on trying to understand time travel and when he makes the connection that was YOU, HIS mc, he gets all sorts of defensive. feels your face all over and makes sure you're still his mc and that you're still normal and that time travelling didn't change you any (if anything, it could have changed him, but you don't mention that. probably would freak him out more)

levi thinks about it like a video game. he understands, but pulls you aside later and begs for you to explain everything and anything that happened because now he believes he should pitch this to some animator friends he made online to see if it could be a new up and coming anime.

satan is pretty quiet. mostly, he's just happy that you're okay. he waits for all the chaos to settle and makes sure you're physically fine, then swears he'll hurt whoever sent you back in time and away from the rest of them. he also apologizes if he ever hurt you int he past that he may not remember distinctly. please reassure him its okay.

asmo is the first to pounce on you for a hug. immediately. you explain that you were gone for what felt like forever and he's SO happy to have you back!! insists that he gives you a makeover and you do a self care day for you to unwind after having to deal with their antics when they first got to the devildom.

beel low key wants to take you from asmo (and almost does) when you suggest you'll spend the whole next day with him and belphie. beel's idea of quality time is eating food & watching movies with people, so when you agree to do that, he agrees to not argue with asmo about who gets to make sure you're okay first. he's not really sure about this time travel business, but he knows he cares about you a lot and the thought that he (or him at the moment) wasn't there to protect you makes him feel a bit guilty.

belphie is more or less on the same lines as beel. he takes a bit more convincing to not pummel asmo (he's worried about you in his own way). however, he wants to spend the whole day learning about your adventures and trying to figure out how you remember everything versus how he does. his best way to think about it is like a weirdly-specific and realistic dream, but actually in reality. it's strange, but its the best way to wrap his head around everything.

due to having a weaker immune system compared to others, you often found yourself quite sick, even with something as slight as a cold. in the past 6 months you had spent with jay, you’d already fallen ill at least 5 times, some times however were worse than others.

whenever you were sick, you didn’t really want to eat, due to a lack of appetite and lack of energy to make yourself food. once, when jay was meant to come and stay over one weekend, you managed to fall ill on the tuesday before he was meant to come.

it was one of the more exhausting and rougher bouts of illness, but you hoped to be over this bout of cold by the time friday came around. this wasn’t the case, and when jay came to stay on the friday he found you asleep in your bed, surrounded by empty boxes of tissues.

he assumed that you were ill and decided to make you chicken soup before waking you up to eat. you spent the time talking to each other, and when he asked how long you had been in bed sick for, he had to scold you for not telling him sooner, when you replied it had been three days. since then he always made sure you told him whenever you were feeling sick, always coming to visit you and cook you soup to make you feel better. 

even throughout the 6 months of your relationship, not only did jay take care of you when sick, but he’d also pamper and attend to your every need whenever you were on your period.

need pads? he’ll get them!

want cuddles? he’ll spend the entire day holding you in his arms!

having weird cravings or just cravings in general? he’d accept that you couldn’t help such things due to hormones and fulfil every craving you wanted!

he’d buy you any foods you were craving, as well as often buying you little gifts such as teddies or your favourite flowers. sometimes he’d even gift you your favourite jumpers of his, his strong cologne still present on the material, just to provide a sense of comfort for you when he wasnt able to be with you.

along with your periods often came horrible pains in your back and waist that sometimes painkillers would not help. jay would be able to tell when the pain in your back was getting too much for you to bare just from the look of discomfort on your face, as well as the lack of exchange in conversations with him and his friends.

it was these times when you’d get home, he’d offer to massage those areas, relieving you of such pain. even if it was only a temporary fix, you were still forever thankful for him.

there were also days when your chronic pains were almost unbearable, the nauseating pains in your wrists, ankles, and hips as well as sometimes your knees meant that some days you were practically bound to your bed or at least the confines of your house.

to prevent such attacks he’d signed you both up for a yoga class together once a week, he even took a short course in physiotherapy to help learn some of the best stretches to do with you.

despite all the yoga and physio that you did there were still some days were it was near impossible to get out of bed, and it was these days were jay would come to visit you before class, to help get you out of bed to get changed before putting you in the living room so you could at least get to the kitchen or watch netflix on the television.

he’d make sure to attend your classes to take notes if he was free, or he’d meet with your professor after class to pick up any handouts you may have missed. 

jay always seemed to know just what to do in any situation and was always willing to help you when you needed it, even without you explicitly asking for his assistance. therefore because it was his birthday today you decided to surprise him with breakfast in bed, he’d stayed over the night before so that you were together in the morning to celebrate his birthday before you went to his parents in the afternoon.

you managed to somehow sneak out of his tight grip around your waist and headed to the kitchen to start making breakfast.

you werent exactly the most skilled at cooking, but you still wanted to show jay how much you appreciated him by making such an effort for jays birthday, therefore you decided to follow a youtube tutorial on how to make chocolate chip pancakes, it seemed to be going great at the beginning, the batter looked exactly how it should and even after you made the first one to taste test you thought you had absolutely aced this for once. 

however it was then that it all started to go south, just before you were about to try the first pancake to check you werent about to poison jay or something, you poured the batter in to the pan for the second one, almost certain that the first one would taste fine as you had followed the recipe to a tee, and you were right. the first one tasted perfect.

you celebrated your success with a little victory dance around the kitchen forgetting all about the pancake currently in the pan. it wasnt until the smoke detector began to go off that you remembered about the pancake that now lay burnt to a crisp in the pan, as black as coal, with smoke encompassing the kitchen like the early morning mist. it was amidst all this commotion that jay had woken up, the alarm startling him awake, further increasing his worry when you were no where to be found in your bedroom. 

he headed toward the kitchen, where the alarm was the loudest and found you stood on top of the counter, wafting the smoke away from the alarm with a dish towel and trying to find the button to turn the damn thing off. knowing that you were safe and that there was no threat of fire or danger, he stood in the doorway to the kitchen watching you with hearts in his eyes.

he put the clues together and found the answer. you must have been making him breakfast as a surprise for his birthday but gotten too distracted by something. once the smoke alarm had finally calmed down and stopped beeping, you stepped down off the counter top and turned around to deal with the burnt pancake in the pan, thats when you found jay stood in the doorframe.

you sighed in defeat that your surprise hadnt gone as planned , and silently turned away from him not even uttering a word to him. you had frustrated yourself with not even being able to do something as simple as making breakfast to show your appreciation for him on his birthday. 

he could tell that you were frustrated by the whole chaos of making breakfast, so he entered the kitchen and walked up behind you giving you a back hug and a kiss to the temple like he did whenever the pair of you woke up together.

it was then that he realised your eyes were getting watery, your frustration even more evident now that he was face to face with you.

he asked you why you were crying, wiping the tears that now started to slowly cascade down your cheeks, but you couldnt give him an answer, too upset at your surprise being ruined over a careless mistake. realising it was gonna be difficult to give him an answer he decided to ask you more directly, “baby is this because the smoke alarm woke me up? were you trying to surprise me with breakfast?” he knew he hit the nail on the head when the tears began flowing even more, your head nodding up and down whilst you buried it into his chest, mumbling a quiet “happy birthday baby?”

his heart couldnt help but flutter at the sight of you so worked up over such a small thing as him waking up to the smoke alarm.

he also couldnt bring himself to admit that he had in fact woke up to the alarm, wanting to stop your tears from falling he confessed to you “baby, i was up before the alarm went off, i woke up around 5 minutes before, please dont cry! why dont we make a birthday breakfast together? would that make you feel better?” he rambled, puerly wanting to to stop you from beating yourself up mentally over such an insignificant matter. 

this was yet another reason for you to fall even harder for jay.

🤡 What’s your biggest clown moment in the fandom? Or what are you clowning over that you know will never happen?

Ohhh thats a tough one because I dont know if I've been in the fandom long enough to have had a clown moment!

I do remember being one of the few people on my dash at the time who actually really enjoyed the s4 finale, and while I was still a lurker and wasnt involved in the fandom yet, it was hard being surrounded by a ton of negativity. I guess you wouldn't call this a clown moment, but moreso a moment where I realized that if I'm going to be online while a show is actively airing, I nedd to curate the HELL out of my experience. I'm still working on that but I think I'm doing a lot better.

And yes. I'm a 4x18 apologist. 😂 I'm just a sucker for angst even if it's heavy angst.

What am I clowning over now? Probably just that based on everything everyone has been saying, I have a strong feeling that season five is going to become my new favorite. I could be wrong and if I am it won't be a big deal since I'm sure it's going to be amazing either way, but yeah I have high hopes!

today has mostly been about companions and gosh i love each and every one of them. i've officially recruited the whole team and spent a bit of time with all of them.

before i got to taash, i did some stuff with davrin, and had a little emotional moment over a gameplay mechanic because it hurt to use neve's ability while she wasnt with me :(

i wouldnt have been surprised if it was unavailable until she returned, so while this is probably just a matter of keeping the gameplay straightforward and not locking out a quest until later, it felt like it meant she was still with us in spirit T_T i can be sentimental sometimes

have been rotating davrin in my mind a bit because he was initially pushed aside for the immediate all hell breaks loose of minrathous vs. treviso. he's a bit reserved so i realized it takes some intentional thought to understand him more and made myself emotional about the fact that he lost two fellow wardens he could call friends, who he was working closely with while they trained the griffons, and he doesn't let himself react to that at all. he says it himself in a conversation after: being a warden means death happens. he had urgent things to attend to, he never let himself experience the grief for more than a second :( and in a metaphorical sense, he has kind of adopted an orphan. the people who were caring for assan are dead and now he has this responsibility on his shoulders unexpectedly. he doesn't feel like he's good at this, he didn't ask to do this, but he cares about the griffons sooo much and its his duty to protect them ough... i also LOVE his reasoning for the wood carvings... making accurate portrayals of monsters to teach future generations, thats so fuckin good

this dialogue is amazing, especially with my rook's backstory:

from the bits and pieces ive heard about taash, i assumed they/them pronouns but that hasn't come up at all so i'm not entirely sure what to use atm! i did later on get that one bit of dialogue from taash's mom about how taash "acts like a man sometimes" so maybe it's being built up and we'll talk about it later? i think i'll use they/them until i know what the deal is

so, isabela is looking amazing and i was delighted to see her. completely decked out in gold and with a kickass hat, as she should be <3

then neve returned and she was fairly understanding, all things considered ;w; she's a bit distant with me and doesn't wanna talk about it for now but shes baaack

loved this hehe taash and emmrich have hilarious banter; took them back to the necropolis for some side quests and it was so funny. one of the first ones i got was taash telling emmrich not to do "weird stuff" with their body if they died and that rook would get their body sdfgmf

im also loving emmrich and bellara's relationship. how excited she was to meet him, how he's insisting she doesnt need to be formal with him, how theyre talking shop together, and emmrich is looking out for her, making sure she's resting.... blessed

another i liked a lot, less for being funny, more for what it says about taash and the brutal venatori lore. damn dude

as per my usual tendencies, i've been doing everything except the main quest. spent a bit of time in the catacombs and in rivain, exploring, looting, doing side quests. i love it uvu just experiencing these new places and being a completionist about it. returned to dock town to see how messed up it is, and it was definitely hard to see the shadow dragons' base torn apart and splattered with blood. the mood on the street is rough, for real. i'm glad i took neve and davrin, feel like they were the best for it, neve because this is her home and i want to provide whatever support i can with her, and davrin because there was blight to deal with. i just love how impactful it can be to take certain companions on certain quests. i always take the ones who are closest to either the location or what we're doing even if it isnt required (like taking bellara on emmrich's recruitment since she's the one who got in contact)

did taash's first personal quest with feeding the birds, it was fantastic. love learning more about my companions. the bit about being multicultural really resonated as well. being a qunari rook in general here adds a lot, but especially with my own added backstory

had to stop and eat, then nap lmao but im meeting morrigan next, then i'm eager to see more of the anderfels (plus thats where all the next tough bosses are >:3 im comin for them)

Not the same anon as before, but I just want to say I loved chapter 220 too! I have a lot of thoughts about how .. unexpected, I guess you could say, euphemistically, Shoko's comment was 😂 and how that ties back with the way gege handled sashisu and itafushikugi (more specifically shoko and nobara's characters as parts of those trios) but what I wanted to share right now is that in my copy of volume 25 (I'm not from an English speaking country) the translation actually flat out states that shoko *had* romantic feelings for stsg but - and I quote- "would've never acted on them". I'm not sure what inspired this translation in the publishers here (it's not like they had an interest in making sashisu seem canon, the text literally never talks about them like that) but I imagined gege intended to shut the ship rumors down regardless 😂. Though, since I read that translation - fully expecting something similar to the English version - and was instead gifted with more fuel to my sashisu conspiracies, I think I'll just cling to my little volume and choose to keep dreaming 😂.

I'm not often on Twitter or on other social media so I didn't know gege clarified shoko's relationship status? That makes it even more hilarious! I mostly saw people speculating over the official 220 English translation and hating on stshk/sss (so I just closed Twitter altogether lol) but I completely missed the clarification! I'm not surprised at all to find this out now 😂.

Anyways, I'm taking advantage of the occasion to also tell you I loved the first chapter of your latest satoshoko fic! I love the way you write their banter, it's one of my favorite parts of their relationship and you always write their dialogues in such a fun and captivating way. Thank you for sharing your fics here! It's a joy to read them :)
