If my top-3 of favorite characters in an animated TV show doesn't include a red-haired teenage girl/young woman, there's something wrong with your show

50 milo murphy's law facts
5 not so fun and 45 fun!
Not so fun to start!
The only Milo Murphy's Law official merchandise is a notebook released in Japan for the MML X PNF crossover.
Disney actually apologized to Dan (and I assume Swampy) for the treatment of Milo Murphy's Law. Dan has expressed frustration at the MMLs treatment before, citing the Hiatus between s1 and s2 and the fact it did not air on the main Disney Channel.
Doof appears in more episodes than Cavendish and Dakota in s2 (this is the real reason we needed a s3). Also, while PNF/Doof stuff was planned from the start, Disney did push for more PNF.
When season 2 was airing, new episodes would randomly be released in other countries.
Milo was cut from CATU due to a feeling from Disney that audiences would not recognize his cameo.
ok LAME ones out of the way
On the first drawing of Milo there are three names beside it: Milo, Mikey, and...Monty. As you probably know the Mikey one got pretty far and is the name used in the pitch bible (and was referenced with "I am Mikey!".) The reason Mikey was changed to Milo was not a creative choice, but because there was a popular YouTuber named "Mikey Murphy."
Speaking of, Milo was also just going to be another character apart of a different pitch, but Dan kept thinking he should go into his own show. He went to Swampy and asked him what he thought of Milo (at the time Mikey) and the idea of a show about Murphys Law. it took them about an hour to come up with the concept pitch.
You can find several of MML song dubbings on YouTube and other platforms. Most notably the Japanese version (マイロ・マーフィーの法則) highly worth checking out. Fun fact in a fun fact, Doof and Dakota also share the same voice actor in this dubbing.
In re-airings of some of the first MML episodes, second versions were made that included Cavendish and Dakota in the background.
Yes, Melissa was originally going to feel the lasting effects of the pistachion uprising by remaining looking like one instead of Bradley having his arm turned into a vine. This would have been a source of conflict for her in season 2, but in the end they felt it was too much of a change. As far as Bradley's plant arm it was originally only going to come out sometimes before it was changed to being a constant thing. He does have feeling in this arm.
The Island of Lost Dakota's was going to include a scene with merman Dakota's ("merkotas"). There was also going to be "mutation" Dakotas, such as ones with multiple heads.
There exists a live action version of the Milo Murphy's Law theme song. well, sorta, watch it
Before Milo came out Dwampy made the song "we're gonna do it again."
MML was originally set to debut in early 2017.
Weird Al did not originally come to mind for Milo. One of the idea voices they had was Noah Z Jones (Fish Hooks). They auditioned hundreds of people for Milo, but many had issues such as sounding too nervous in their lines. It wasn't until Alex Hirsch (Gravity Falls) posted a photo with Weird Al that Dwampy realized he'd be perfect for the role.
Sara is based on a friend of Dwampy.
In tune with the popular headcanon/fan theory, it's possible they did actually consider making Cavendish a descendant of Milo. When Cavendish was going to agree he also liked Milo, he was going to say he was his descendant. *this may have also just been a joke line
Milo and Cavendish are meant to mirror eachother in the fact Milo deals with Murphy's Law and Cavendish is the "author of his own misery" in regards to things going wrong.
Another thing they considered was the possibility of Dakota and Cavendish being in a romantic relationship, but they ultimately decided they wanted them to have them represent a strong male friendship.
The Milo Murphys Law crew did keep up a fanart and concept art wall. Here, here, and here are some photos.
There was a baby Cavenpus cut from final productions.
There are no official ages for Dakota and Cavendish. Dan has said he believes Cavendish to be older, while Joshua Pruett has said he believes Dakota to be the older one and by a bit of a margin.
Pistachios came to be a thing in the show because a son of some of Dan's neighbors had been allergic to specifically pistachios. They needed an idea for the larger plot and somehow those two came together. (Swampy also notes it's a funny word).
Several of the scripts for MML storyboarders included just the words, "and Murphy's Law happened."
Dan has made at least one Vinnie Dakota dedicated Tiktok similar to his Doof ones.
The Doof and Dakota lines were recorded together, back and forth.
Melissa was going to have a hamster nemesis named Ham. In the Pitch Bible the name wasn't included, but it's explained it was a pet class hamster that would always escape and end up on her things.
The secret handshake Milo and Zack do in scream-a-tourium was intended to be longer.
The studio executive for MML originally thought The Island of Lost Dakota's was a joke idea until he read the script.
There was a MML kids menu at Disneyland circa 2016.
Dakota and Cavendish were originally not in the shows ideas, nor was any B-plot, but being used to it in PNF the writers room felt they "needed something to cut away to"
Joshua Pruett pitched for the MML x PNF crossover for where when Milo opened his backpack to pull out the thing he needed to save the world it'd be...Phineas and Ferb.
Dakota is the reason parking tickets exist, as he can be a bit careless about leaving time vehicles all over the place. Dakota is proud of this.
Melissa's likeness and name is based on Dan's daughter Meli, as to sorta "balance out" Isabella also being based on his other daughter.
They considered a twist where Bob Block would be an alien wearing a face mask.
"Cavendish Farms" is an episode that never came to be pitched by Pruett where in order to track Cavendish Dakota would try to duplicate Cavendish, though none of them would quite be Cavendish. One of the Cavendishs would have a heart to heart with Dakota, while Doof would ultimately call out Dakota for what he's doing and tell Dakota "you already know what he would do." dwampy rejected this idea because this was a bad idea, to which pruett felt that is exactly why Dakota would have tried it. if renewed, pruett would have tried to convince them more on it.
Chop Away at My Heart was originally called "Jump Jump Jump" and was made for another project by one of Dan's friends. After Dan have asked to transform it into something else for Milo, Joshua Pruett suggested a "Lumberjack themed boyband" in the script.
unfortunate split for character block limit
Dakotas voice was inspired by Elvis Costello. It's also the harder voice for Dan in comparison to Doof.
Mark Hamill originally auditioned to play a teacher on the show, but Dwampy liked his audition so much they decided he'd better fit Mr. Block.
In the MML pitch bible it is stated, "Mikey has a destiny to fulfill, something vital to the future of the planet." The goal of Cavendish and Dakota would be to make sure he stays on the right path.
There IS a full version of We're Going to the Zoo, which was played by Dan in this interview at 3:00:30. Several MML songs have had full versions leaked, implying this is probably the case for some other songs too.
Like several other characters, Sara in the MML pitch bible was different from her show counterpart, being "a hipster like Thora Butch in Ghost World."
The song "A World Without Milo" is based on the song "Happy Together" by "The Turtles"
Almost every character, including creatures or minor one-offs had a name in the script. An example is "Pia," the name of the poodle Diogee falls in love with.
In regards to when Dakota talks about cutting through the Mesozoic in First Impressions and the fact it is illogical, Dan says this is likely just Dakota being Dakota (aka, it was a mistake), and not every such line should be taken serious.
In a deleted "Snow Way Out" line it was confirmed that the raccoon in Going the Extra Milo and Fungus Among Us is recurring raccoon.
Brick and Savannah were going to have a role in the crossover.
Story ideas from the MML pitch bible that never came to include a beach episode, a Friday the 13 episode, and an episode where Cavendish and Dakota try convincing Milo to take a self defense class leading to conflict with a hidden ninja gang.
For unspecified characters (probably multiple different sets) Pruett wrote in hugs that were cut by (mostly) Dan. In response, he says he "put 4 in so at least 1 stays."
S3 would have likely included: A third Block (yes, still voiced by Mark Hamill and a Block "family meeting"), Milo creating the universe, Dakota and Cavendish getting the promotion they wanted but being unsatisfied, Elliot cleverly being connected to the overarching plot, AU exploration (akin to pnf) including an episode where Dr Zone is real, and a conclusion to the Prof Time arc. The overarching plot would have been the "biggest yet."
credits to: danvillecheese for suggestions + encouragement, cheetochild989 for facts the fact about going to the zoo and a world without milo, the 2nd dimension on YouTube, my hamsterward friends, and of course all the talented people who worked on MML :3
#mml#milo murphy's law#behind the scenes#on fact 3 I worded it that way because there used to be an entire playlist for the JPN songs but I cant find it now...#on fact 16 I'm really wanting to know how that clicked#bonus fun fact: Dan referred to the mml fan base as “small but rabid” once circa 2021. oh we were#dwampyverse#this was fun

Hi mootie!
Do u have any mml headcanons that you’d like to share? :3€
Hii! And YES I have SOO many and ive waited so long for someone to ask lmao
Thisd be a RLLY long post if I typed out all of the ones I have lmao (and ive gotta leave some if i ever get asked again lmao) so here's 1 for pretty much every character :) some are rlly dumb and some are just straight projection but that's what makes them fun to me lol
Milo - BIG neopoliten ice cream fan. I have NO idea how to spell it properly but to me he loves the idea of having 3 flavours in 1 and nothing can change my mind
Melissa - she can surf. Like rlly good. I think this comes from that line abt wanting to swim with sharks in free fall tbh :)
Zack - this guy LOVED science practicals in his old school.. but now he always ends up paired with milo and is always slightly scared through the lessons lmao. Idk why I think this it's probably rooted in how I got banned from practicals at school cuz me and my friend always messed them up tbh
Cavendish - ok. I love cavendish sm cuz he's LITERALLY my best friend reincarnated to me like from appearance to personality if she was an old man and not .. like a 16 year old girl they'd be the same person.. but ANYWAY I am a truther of the fact that cavendish isn't as old as he looks BUT it's all intentional to make him look more. Wise? ..ig lol. BUT my best friend ALSO has grey hair and that's totally cuz she's dyed it blue a lot. SO I use my great skills of 2nd hand projection to say that his appearance is a total reverse on trying to adapt it to look "cooler" with a failed dye job. Ooc? Probably. But like I said he IS my best friend to me and I'll add little parts of her into my hcs if I can lmao
Dakota - rlly simple compared to my cavendish one lmao but to me he's just chubbier than he is in canon. I think this is like a pretty popular hc too but I'm a total victim of whenever I watch an episode with him in I'm always like "oh yeah he does look like that" lol
Sara - as much as she loved dr zone there are certain arcs/episodes that she HATES and if one comes up in general conversation she with go on a WHOLE rant abt it (projectionprojectionprojection lmao)
Amanda - after she managed to get used to murphys law she actually came to realise that any accidents related to it ARENT as bad as she always thought cuz they're either 1) easily solvable or 2) noones fault :))
Bradley - he likes games with dice in them. Idk why she just does to me and this is such a STRONG hc to me for literally NO reason
I'll stop at this or I'll go on for hours lmao hope they're adequate hcs for you lmao (im also totally up for hearing yours if you have any too fr)
#TYSM FOR ASKING FR !!#also cuz this is a longer post i wrote it in the notes app on my phone and copied it across lmao#hoping its not messed with any formatting or smth tho#milo murphy's law#mml#milo murphy#melissa chase#zack underwood#balthazar cavendish#vinnie dakota#sara murphy#amanda lopez#bradley nicholson#<- chronic character tag spammer guys </3#i just like my blog to be organised by character tbh lol#headcanons#ask

No but for real I dont think I'll ever be over Cavendish and Dakota, Dakota literally sacrificing himself over and over again to save Cavendishs life and he doesnt even know. Cavendish died so many times and every time without question Dakota saves him. And he doesnt even know. Cavendish doesnt even know just how loved he is. Dakota takes on all these time travel shenanigans, watching the most current version of himself sacrifice everything, as more and more versions of Dakotas join the island, over and over to save his partners life, because "its Cavendish, what can you do?"
What the fuck Milo Murphy's Law huh?
#oh and dont get me started on that future ep thing there they havnt talked in years... breaking my heart.#b.text#milo murphy's law#mml#love it when the old men gay. good for them.

Underrated media
I want to advertise some shows that I’m obsessed with but have little to no fandom and deserve some more attention. Please feel free to add on!!
Milo Murphy’s Law (disney+)
This is my comfort show. This is what I watch when everything feels out of control in my life and I need a sense of calm and joy. Made by a lot of the same people as Phineas and Ferb and definitely maintains and even build on that vibe/genre. We got Weird Al and Sabrina Carpenter in the main cast and it also has gay time travelers, what more could you want?
Bodies (netflix)
Time travel murder mystery!!! It has detectives in different time periods trying to solve the same mystery and it all comes together masterfully. Each period has a main duo that I am obsessed with, all the characters are so compelling. Be sure to look into trigger and content warnings tho because it is very much not for young audiences (a fair amount of nudity and there is a prominent suicide)
Will Trent (disney+/hulu)
I was genuinely upset to find this show has zero fandom. This show is a love letter to survivors of child abuse and people with invisible disabilities. It has great representation and incredible character dynamics. It is, regretfully, a cop show, but that is literally the only complaint I have. It manages to be an absolute blast while also dealing with some very heavy stuff. Again, be sure to check trigger warnings!! It’s not quite as graphic as bodies, but it explores themes of SA and lots of homocide
Severance (apple tv+)
This psychological thriller is everything. Absolutely phenomenal intrigue: you wake up in a building with no idea who you are and are told you chose to work here, that this is your job, that your body will go home every day but you will never know anything beyond these walls, that what you do is important but you can never know what it is. Capitalist, psychological dystopia that is just fascinating at every turn. Again, heed the warnings!! There are themes of suicide and alcoholism, and there are a couple scenes with prominent flashing lights

somebody who’s more up to date on what’s stated to be retconned or whatever help me out, because i’ve been rewatching phineas and ferb (again) and just finished rewatching the finale (last day of summer) and it got me thinking about all the timeline implications and what’ll happen in the next two seasons. because i’ve also seen all of milo murphy’s law and this is breaking my brain
i much would PREFER if the pnf finale stayed canon because i really love it (destroying a time loop for the end of a formulaic sitcom also including a lot of status quo changes is pretty genius) and also i hate what mml does to doofenshmirtz’s story for a lot of reasons
but it kind of donned on me once doof vowed not to be evil in last day of summer how much this confuses everything. like milo murphy’s law happened after the phineas and ferb summer (right?) and he was still evil then until the season one finale. not mention doof mentions he invented a time machine to put in the bathroom in the finale, which messes up the whole him not knowing how to invent time travel yet thing in milo murphy’s law
i also get confused about how candace against the universe fits into the timeline, because that came out way after the finale, and then candace has the development about not wanting to bust her brothers anymore, i’m assuming that happens in the middle of that summer pnf takes place in since doof is still evil. but i guess i can kind of wrap my head around that being some alternate universe “what if” scenario deal, and it is a kickass movie (or maybe she just relapsed… which… fine)
i also couldnt see them changing the status quo so much in the next two seasons that candace isn’t compelled to bust her brothers plus doofenshmirtz not being evil, even though i’d hope they would
even then, if they did do that or went with the mml timeline, wouldn’t that be confusing for pnf exclusive watchers (who would probably be watching on disney+ like me when the new seasons drop and would have almost definitely seen the s4 finale) be confused on why everything doesn’t line up??? is the mml timeline non-existent now since it’s cancelled / a different show???? has this ever been addressed. i don’t know. somebody help me my autistic brain can’t stop game-theorying about this cartoon sitcom for babies.
i probably messed something up since there’s hundreds of episodes of this show but i trust myself to be somewhat accurate in my assessment as that guy who’s seen all of pnf 3 times and watches it everyday

Have you ever watched Phineas and Ferb or Milo Murphy's Law? If so, what do you think of these shows?
I actually grew up with Phineas and Ferb I remember watching it in 2007 and crying in 2016 when it initally ended, if it wasn't these guys I was latched onto Hannah Montana in this era, I was actually in the fandom that was my very first fandom besides Danny Phantom and Penguins of Madagascar,
Again very very special place in my heart, I have a binder full of Phineas and Ferb Fanfic I wrote, and I'm sure on Fanfic.net Kiara the Elven but it was originally, Secret Agent Alanshee because well Perry haha, and Kiara the Elven that's my OG account but I warn you it's full of teen me being angsty I gave it to a friend but they never did anything with it,
Phinabella was my first ship, and yes I say it I was and still am rooting for Perrysmirtz, the creator ships it so I'm still on board with that I think it's cute and funny.
The characters are charming and the stories simple, it reflects back to simpler times in my life, my entire family still rewatches it frequently and religiously and is stupidly excited for the Revival Series especially as they got both Dan and Jeff and almost a majority of the old cast back on board.

hiii again, this is for the autistic ask game :D
📝- what did the process of discovering you're autistic look like for you? Do you have a formal diagnosis? (This one is rlly important to me bc I rlly think I'm autistic and I'm not in the place to get a formal one)
🔎- do you have a special interest? If you do, what is it and what's your favorite things about it?
Tysm for allowing me to still ask! :D (and if you wanna be mutuals plz let's ur rlly cool)
hope ur having a good dayyyy!!
Hi thanks for the question!
1 - I personally self-diagnosed, my realization came from watching creators that I thought acted really similar to me I specific ways, when I discovered that certain creators I liked had autism, I decided “well, I act really similar in these ways and this creator I like say it was because of their autism, so maybe I’m autistic!” I’m still unsure and my symptoms are probably ADHD bleeding over lmao
2 - OH BOY DO I- I have alot! A main hyperfixation that’s been taking over my life is called Milo Murphys Law! You can pirate the show here! :DD another that I’ve had for a long time is Lego Monkey Kid, you can pirate it on YouTube or watch it on prime video! :DD I have alot of others but I’ll be writing for a while if I list all of them lmao

For a Disney owned show that is a bit more older (guess that means Big City Greens is off the table for now then), here's my ideas: Recess, Kim Possible, Darkwing Duck, Rescue Rangers, The Proud Family, Milo Murphy's Law (more or less same universe as Phineas & Ferb), Penn Zero, Randy Cunningham, Goof Troop, Gargoyles, and Wander Over Yonder.
There's a lot of good options that I'd like to go through at some point, but for my next follow-along series for the moment I think I'll go with Kim Possible, since that's been on my mind for a while.
I remember watching the show as a kid, but I don't remember much of what actually happened in the show, so I think it'll be a really fun experience to go through it again!
Since it's been working so far, be watching two episodes of Kim Possible every Thursday, same as I did with Ducktales. And since I know Disneyplus can be weird about episode orders with older shows, I'll be watching the show in the chronological order listed here:
Episode order | Kim Possible Wiki | Fandom
That means the first two episodes for this Thursday will be Tick-Tick-Tick and Bueno Nacho. Looking forward to starting it!

Kiff Review
Kiff is a musical comedy animated series by Lucy Heavens and Nic Smal. They are known for their work in the animation industry, either script writing, storyboarding, or voice acting. This post will have spoilers.
Reprinted from Pop Culture Maniacs and Wayback Machine. This was the twenty-seventh article I wrote for Pop Culture Maniacs. This post was originally published on March 27, 2023.
The plot of Kiff focuses on a young flying squirrel named Kiff Chatterley (voiced by Kimiko Glenn), who is friends with a mellow bunny named Barry Buns (H. Michael Croner) in a magical land, within the mountains, known as Table Town. Both go on adventures in and around the town.
Like other Disney series airing this year, Kiff is aimed at kids and families. This is clear from the format, similar to many episodes of Amphibia, Milo Murphy's Law, and Phineas and Ferb. Each 22-minute episode is divided into two 11-minute segments. In typical Disney fashion, there is a musical number in almost every episode.
Apart from the animating powerhouse of Disney Television Animation, a well-known animation studio, Titmouse, is producing the series. The same studio is known for series such as Cleopatra in Space, Star Trek: Lower Decks, The Midnight Gospel, Q-Force, Inside Job, Pantheon, My Dad the Bounty Hunter, The Legend of Vox Machina, Fairfax, and Chicago Party Aunt.
Many of the voice actors in Kiff are well-experienced. Glenn previously voiced Paperstar in Carmen Sandiego, Katherine-Alice in Welcome to the Wayne, Tomiko in Elena of Avalor, and Nomi in Dogs in Space, to name a few roles. Deedee Magno Hall, who voices Deer Teacher in the series, is best known for voicing Pearl in Steven Universe. Furthermore, James Monroe Iglehart and Lauren Ash, who voice Kiff's parents, prominently voiced characters in series such as Tangled, Helluva Boss, Elena of Avalor, and She-Ra and the Princesses of Power.
Keen listeners might recognize Rachel House, voice of Barry's mother, or Nichole Sakura, voice of Barry's sister. Both had prominent voice roles in Moana and OK K.O.!: Let's Be Heroes. Personally, I was familiar with voice actors Katie Crown and Rhys Darby because they voiced characters in Cleopatra in Space. The former also voiced Ivy in Amphibia. Furthermore, Darby voiced a variety of characters in Milo Murphy's Law, We Bare Bears, Welcome to the Wayne, Star vs. the Forces of Evil, and Infinity Train. It was great to hear Vella Vowell, who voices Candle Fox, again. I remembered her impressive voice acting as Princess Mermista in She-Ra and the Princesses of Power and as the No Tattoo Barista (which later turned into a CBD Monster) in the lesser-known Magical Girl Friendship Squad.
Kiff snagged the well-regarded Eric Bauza and Tom Kenny. From my years of watching animated series, I was familiar with Bauza as Scoops in Ollie & Scoops, as well as Kenny for two roles: Ice King in Adventure Time and Yancy Fry in Futurama. In this series, Bauza voices Reggie and a scrupulous TV producer named Roy Fox, while Kenny voices multiple characters in the series. A stand-up comedian named Josh Johnson also voices Barry's brother, Harry.
youtube
The show's animation is expressive and colorful. However, it pales in comparison to Amphibia, The Owl House, or Adventure Time. In some ways, Phineas and Ferb is put together better, as is Milo Murphy's Law. All in all, the show is a bit funny, but not laugh-out-loud funny. Drama is more a strong suit for the series than comedy.
The first twelve episodes of the series are double-episodes. They introduce viewers to the characters, allowing you to get a feeling for their lives. More than anything, they make it clear that Kiff is not serialized like Steven Universe, Tangled, or Milo Murphy's Law (especially the second season). Instead, each episode seems in its own world, without being connected to another. If some rumors are correct about upcoming Hailey's On It! and Iwaju, it appears that Disney series are moving in this direction. This is evidenced by the fact that the recently aired Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur uses serialized storytelling.

However, the recently aired Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur uses serialized storytelling as does the upcoming Hailey's On It! and Iwaju, if reports are correct.
Kiff has some elements reminding me of the Futurama episode openings, like fake adverts at the beginning of each episode. At the same time, the series is different than what has come before since the show creators, Heavens and Smal, who voice characters in the series, are from Cape Town, South Africa. As a result, their life-stories are undoubtedly integrated into the series itself. Furthermore, the show's directors include animators for Black Dynamite, 6Teen, and Amphibia, with this career experience enhancing the show even more.
The series emphasizes the importance of acceptance, friendship, self-worth, and notoriety. The latter is shown in the extreme by Roy Fox, who makes trashy reality shows in order to profit from people's misery. In a manner similar to the focus on education in many anime series, Kiff seems to imply that education is important to achieving your dreams and that school shouldn't be skipped, no matter what. This stands diametrically opposed to what is shown in Birdie Wing: Eve, one of the show's protagonists, is a terrible student, but remains at the premiere golf academy because she is a sports star.
There are many other themes focused in Kiff. For instance, the episode "Career Day", when Kiff and Barry get a part-time job at city hall, implies that mass records destruction is fine as long as you cut through the "red tape". This contrasts with commentary about overly technical bureaucracy in Hilda and Futurama, to name two series. Such a negative theme in "Career Day" is offset by episodes which accentuate family togetherness and honesty.
As a person who has reviewed media with libraries and librarians in pop culture since July 2020, and with a MLIS degree, it should be no surprise one of my favorite episodes of Kiff was "Club Book". In he episode, Kiff learns the value of quietness in the library after turning the library into a club scene. I thought it was interesting that the librarian, voiced by Aparna Nancherla, is made more relatable than most. Her character, Miss Moufflé, somewhat bucking stereotypes, while reinforcing them at the same time, as she shushes people but also likes souffles.
Similar to other series, the value of libraries as a place of knowledge and learning is affirmed in Kiff. In some ways, the episode reminded me of the "Quiet Riot" episode of The Replacements, in which the show's protagonist, Todd, causes the shushing librarian in charge of the school library replaced by a rockstar. However, he later regrets his decision, resulting in the original librarian returning to her job.
youtube
Currently, Kiff is almost half-way through its series order of 30 episodes. It is hard to know where the series will go from here. Even so. I am more optimistic about this series than Hamster & Gretel, which has fallen flat, despite the fact that Dan Povenmire is the show's creator. Instead, the series has episodes somewhat mimicking absurdity and, even hilarity (to an extent), which are present in Phineas and Ferb. The latter, in fact, was recently renewed for more two seasons.
Even so, Kiff will probably never measure-up to the strength of four-season animated magical comedy powerhouse of Phineas and Ferb, a series even mentioned in an episode of Better Things, a comedy-drama by Pamela Adlon, who voiced some characters in the series. Despite this, Kiff will chart its own path, perhaps different than what has come before. After all, both creators are said to be a "brilliant creative team".
Although Disney has recently removed release dates from the upcoming Tiana and Moana series, clearly Kiff is part of a trend by the company to feature more diverse series. This year is bound to bring series such as Iwáju and Hailey's On It!, while there are others in production such as Cookies & Milk and Primos.
It is further possible that Disney is producing Molly Ostertag's Neon Galaxy, a series reportedly about a trans princess. In any case, diverse series are on the horizon for Disney, especially more than HBO Max, a network which has been struggling to find its corporate identity since David Zaslav became CEO of Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate. It is said that the streaming service has Iyanu: Child of Wonder and Lumberjanes in production.
The first 12 episodes of Kiff are currently airing on Disney+ and all twelve episodes have aired on the Disney Channel. Four new episodes will air on the Disney Channel on April 1st and later be added on Disney+.

i really wish i could like milo murphys law because i adore phineas and ferb and want to enjoy more of the dwampyverse but man. i just really did not enjoy it last time i tried to watch it
that’s okay!! you don’t have to enjoy every single part of the dwampyverse (god knows I don’t), and honestly i would just rewatch s1 of mml over and over again bc it’s my favourite. couldn’t do it with s2 tho but that’s just me being salty
if you haven’t seen hamster and gretel yet, it might be something to have a look at. I’ll be honest, it starts off a little slow but once the main story gets where it needs to go it’s really really good. it might be an expansion of the dwampyverse that you really like? idk! I can’t change your opinion on the fact you didn’t enjoy mml unfortunately, but give hamster and gretel a go. it might change ur mind :)

HI. HELLO. I said a while ago that I REALLY wanted to compare up my favourite shows cuz they're both SOOO undderated and here that is
A COMPARISON BETWEEN MILO MURPHY'S LAW AND STRANGE HILL HIGH
First.. I feel I need to introduce both shows
MML
If you didn't know.. it's made by the creators of and takes place in the same universe as phineas and ferb (it has a crossover too !!).. but as its own show, its SO unique. It follows a boy called milo who suffers from a family curse called Murphy's Law (anything that can go wrong, will go wrong) and his adventures with his friends !! Most of the episodes are just like general shenanigans that follow milo but it does have a plot that is introduced later on :) Also, because its made by the creators of pnf, its got the same humour .. it's really funny
CHARACTERS
The main trio are milo murphy, zack underwood and Melissa chase (in that order on the picture below) and they have a ... pretty standard TV trio dynamic, BUT all of the characters are SO fun and likeable!! Like, for instance, zack was in a regionally famous boyband and other fun things like that :)
Remember how I said there's a plot introduced later.. yeah, well it's basically created by these geezers (dakota and Cavendish, in that order on the photo below) who are introduced as time travellers set out to save pistachios. They're really funny and also voiced by the shows creators (or the same vas as doofenshmirtz and major monogram). They also REALLY remind me of me and my best friend, which means like ... nothing if you aren't us, but if you have a similar dynamic, it's SO fun to see
I dont want to spoil the plot much at all but the first season is about time traveland the second is space travel. If I'm honest the 2nd season.. isn't great cuz they made doofenshmirtz a main character but plot wise its still fun (season 1 is amazing tho still nothing tops it to me) so here's a picture from missing milo (one of the main plot episodes in s1)
And now to..
SHH
I'm gonna be so fr.. I've watched this show since release but have like 0 fandom interactions with it (thats a lie actually i have like 10 but thats not the point) so idk how much introducing it needs (still any is too little to me. imo this show should be standard watching for everyone) so anyway... the show doesn't rlly have a PLOT like all the episodes are stand alone, buutt it does mostly follow Mitchell as he starts at strange hill high and all the insane things that happen there (idk how to explain it cuz of how different every epiosde is but its SO good pls trust me). Its also fully posted on YouTube cuz it's like.. old and cancelled or smth so that's always good (not the cancelled bit tho lol)
CHARACTERS
Just like mml, shh also follows a main trio and has a great side cast. It's trio is becky butters, Templeton and Mitchell tanner (in that order below) and again have a .. pretty standard trio dynamic BUT more like the kind of British TV drama dynamic (.. cuz its set in a british secondary school). I LOVE these geezers SO much and they're just that kind of cast that to this day, I still don't know which one I'm more like
Because its not got a plot to vaguely explain, I'm going to tell you about my favourite episode 99 things to do with a time machine. It's one of my FAVOURITE episodes from any show ever. I love it. (I think it was also the first shh episode i watched cuz i watched it live on tv first before like.. downloading the whole show in 4 different places). The premise of the episode is that the gang is late for school so Mitchell decides to change the school clock so it doesn't LOOK like they're late. This actually turns back time and they abuse the hell out of this. Here's an image.
NOW TO THE COMPARISON!!
Ahhh.. this is like the MAIN bit but for 2 shows that are like permanently engraved in my brain its actually challenging me sm to compare them up like this. Why? No clue. Getting people to watch both is literally what I set out to to lmao
Shenanigans
Like I said, most of mml and ALL of shh basically revolve around whatever shenanigans the trio are doing. In mml they're very much unintentional cuz of murphy's law and the episode normally involves doing whatever to overcome the damage. This is more like the opposite for shh. The trio normally end up discovering smth wild going on in their school and mess about with whatever it is. Two examples I chose for this is mmls athledecamathalon, where the pitch gets destroyed and milo helps his sport team win, and sshs first episode, king Mitchell, where the gang discover a Knight who serves mitchell
These aren't exactly the CLOSEST comparisons I could make .. but you get the idea. VIBE wise they are VERY similar
SETTING
I also want to talk about the setting. Mml takes place all round danville (at different time periods too) and then a planet called octalia by the end of s2. Shh takes place EXCLUSIVELY in the school .. cuz it's puppetry and yk theyd have to actually BUILD a set
CONCLUSION
Ngl tumblr ate the rest of my essay. Twice. (Probably served me right for not having a backup but oh well) and it's kinda annoyed me. I promise you they're so similar is vibe PLEASE watch them both they're great
#i have no idea who im aiming this at tbh#im speaking to a void#milo murphy's law#mml#strange hill high#shh#long post#comparison

As is tradition since I think I started this account in 2012, I tend to do a post about all the more interesting things that happened in the year and what I hope happens in the next so...
Yeah.
Here we go.
Met David Tennant and got not only my photo taken with him and his signature, but I also got three hugs from him. He is a very lovely man, and gosh is he pretty in person. <3
Met Rhys Darby in person and made him burst out laughing when I told him I recognized him as the freaking Pistachio King from Milo Murphy's Law. He wasn't expecting that role of all things.
Last day of my trip for the con I discovered a lump on my chest that really hurt and for two and a half months I was stuck in a constant state of anxiety because they thought it was inflammatory breast cancer. Turns out it was just a really bad infection that had very similar symptoms.
Lost our oldest dog in October :(
My mom did get a pug puppy a few months beforehand tho, as she had been wanting a pug for years
Had probably one of the most absolutely obnoxious family reunions this year, but was able to go up into the mountains and had a lovely time in nature. And I got to pick huckleberries, which I've never done before. That was nice.
Went to Colorado and sat the Monsters of Metal tour's last show there, with Mastodon (third time seeing them) and Gojira (first time seeing them)
Had a fucking experience listening to The Chant live at that showing and it was just... impossible to describe. It was beautiful.
Went to the Devil's Tower on the way to Colorado, it was pretty dang cool. Lots of alien shit everywhere, the area really loves to play up on that. Also went to the Denver Zoo and Meow Wolf, both of which were delightful. :D
Went to my little brother's high school graduation, cannot believe he's out of high school.
Experienced season two of Good Omens and am still recovering.
I was there when EVERY happened, in just ten minutes it was known and then quickly NO LONGER SPOKEN ABOUT. That was a fun hour of panic from the fandom. :)
Watched OFMD season 2 and... eh.
Watched all four of the new Doctor Who specials when they dropped and now Fourteen and Fifteen are my favorite Doctors. I love them.
Had probably some of the most stressful months I've ever had with my job because we were down to just three people for a staff that is meant to run a home that is 24/7. I'm still dealing with the stress from it even after we got more people hired. My paychecks were beautiful tho, so much overtime...
Apparently I got a stress fracture on Thanksgiving, happened in my sleep. I should be out of the boot officially next week.
Participated in a David Tennant-themed zine
Absolutely dumb thing to add, but my mom got me a DT cutout who now lives in my room. He's wearing a paper crown from a Christmas cracker because he's a king Plans for the next year:
Going to see Hozier in August
Probably going to go back to Colorado, I want to see the aquarium
Going to ECCC for the third year in a row, going to get Jodie Whitaker's autograph
Hopefully I'll get to see my girlfriend again
Hopefully I'll get to finally see my best friends irl (We need to plan this better, guys!)
See if I can finally get my second tattoo
