I dreamt about space aliens that had no sexual organs so they couldnt get off and were in pain all the time because of it so they tortured humans. To feel better i guess. Idk
#if it helps at all it was only like the premise of a video game within the dream#but like. almost like a point and click flash game. the only interactivity was making weird shit happen. interactive movie#i think it mightve been influenced by watching multiple mouth/washing lps this week#i was trying to get ready to go to nyc with some people but we kept getting distracted by it.#see it was a fleshed out dream. im just saying tthe crazy part in the main post#important detail about the aliens before i forget: they were red. ive forgotten everything else#the only torture method i fully remember is pulling bones out of fingers by inserting pins or something. other stuff happened though#the kat goes meow

Y/n had the bright idea of posting more content to her tiktok account. She had a couple of videos, but that was pretty much it. She would get many comments telling her to post more so she thought of an idea. She had seen those day in my life videos everywhere so she filmed one with Ruby and MathĂŠo.
âHi everyone, welcome to a day in my life in Monaco!â The video starts off with Y/n making herself some coffee for her and Charles then cuts to her waking the kids up so they can get ready. Today, Charles is leaving for the Dutch Grand Prix so I got his coffee ready while he helped the kids get ready for the day.â
Y/n filmed Charles giving the kids several kisses and hugs then gave her a kiss and hug before Joris arrived and together they were on their way to the plane. âWe try to take the kids to a couple of races, but they recently said they prefer to stay home, hang out with their friends or stay with their grandmère, which doesnât upset Charles at all.â The voiceover said.
âSo after we get ready and eat some breakfast, the kids and I go for a walk to the gardens then we come back to their grandmèreâs house and we hang out for a bit.â Y/n filmed the kids waving hello to a couple of people on their walk. Then the video showed Pascale greeting the kids and hugging Y/n.
âWhen it was time to leave, MathĂŠo wanted to stay because his grandmère was going to visit some family and he wanted to tag along so him and Pascale left and it turned into a mommy daughter day.â Y/n showed several clips of Ruby running around them posing for the camera.
Then the video cuts to them walking around Monaco. âWe stopped for lunch at Rubyâs favorite place called Bella Vita and itâs close to a little playground so if youâre ever in Monaco and with your kids, i would recommend coming here. Ruby loves it.â Y/n filmed Ruby eating a piece of of pizza. The little girl saw the camera then smiled and put up a thumbs up.
âAfter lunch, we walked around, then Ruby wanted to go to see her papaâs car thatâs with the rest of Prince Albertâs collection. Whenever we have time, she always requests to go see it.â
They walked to the museum that held Prince Albertâs collection. Y/n filmed the cars. At one point the video showed Y/n posing in front of Charlesâ Ferrari car that won in Spa and Monza. The clip was courtesy of Ruby since she wanted to film her maman at least once.
The video then cut to a couple looking at Charlesâ Ferrari that were standing next to Ruby, who was taking a picture with her camera that Charles bought her. The man noticed Ruby and wondered if she knew the history of the car.
âThat car wonââ
âMonza and Spa. I know, thatâs my papaâs car.â She replied to her walked back to her maman.
The woman tried to hold in her laugh, but she couldnât. The couple watch Ruby wave goodbye to them as her and Y/n walked away to their next destination.
âOn our way to the oceanographic museum, we ran into some Ferrari fans that wanted to give Ruby and i some friendship bracelets and coincidentally, Ruby had some on her as well so we traded. Thanks for the bracelets, Amanda and Jade!â The clip showed two girls trading bracelets with Ruby.
âRuby is going through her ocean phase at the moment. She loves telling Charles and i facts about the ocean at all times and I mean at all times. This girl will sit you down and tell you facts as if her life depended on it.â Y/n filmed Ruby admiring the pretty fish then pointing to her favorite one.
Then the video cut to Ruby trying to pronounce anemone because she was trying to tell her mom a fact about the clown fish. âThe anemoney . . anu. . anomoon. . .â She stumbled over her words.
âAnemone.â Y/n clarified, but Ruby still messed up. âThatâs okay, youâll pronounce it right next time.â
âI hope so. I donât want the clown fish to feel sad because I canât say it right.â Ruby said sadly.
The video then shows Ruby talking with kids her own age. She, of course, made new friends and even invited them to sleepover at her house. Y/n and the other moms laughed, but did promise a sleepover some other time.
âFinally, we went back home to Pascaleâs and had dinner where the kids FaceTimes Charles. Our days arenât always like this, but I always want to fill our days with something to do.â
The TikTok ended up gaining millions of views, likes, shares and comments. Most of them coming from F1 fans, but she didnât mind.

Hit me Hard & Soft
word count - 1.6k
A/N - dont forget to like and rb âĄ
Starting next week, my new posting schedule will be Tuesdays & Thursdays! Stay tuned!
Billie's POV
Sitting in my studio, I tweaked with the autotune feature to perfect the extended version of Lâamour De Ma Vie. I didnât realize it was already 5AM until my phone buzzed. I looked down at my lap as the screen lit up, showcasing a text from Remy.
Remy: Wish me luck! Fingers crossed Iâm not fired after last week. 5:02am
Billie: đ¤đť 5:02am
Billie: Iâll pick you up later and weâll head to the Rolling Stone interview together? 5:03am
My eyes glossed over the screen waiting for her to reply, as I straightened my back on the chair. I locked it and put it on the table, returning my focus to my production set up. With the amount of bullshit sheâs dealing with, I have a feeling Remy might bail today and I canât blame her. In the back of my mind, I wished she wouldnât. Finneas was so busy with his own album, so I told him to do his own thing tonight. Truth is, I didnât want to show up to any of these things alone. Was that selfish? Lately, everything I feel is amplified, including that lonely, empty feeling I get around normal people bedtime. Thatâs when I did my best writing in the past year. Itâs nerve-racking having all of my thoughts and emotions broadcasted to the world, and now that the tour is coming up, all I can think about is how Iâll do it alone.
The phone buzzed, bringing me out of my own mind. Upon opening, I sighed and replied while getting up to finally go to bed.
Remy: Iâll just meet you there. I have a lot of work to do today I donât wanna make you late. 5:15am
Billie: Okay, see you there. 5:15am
đźđźđźđźđźđź
The alarm rattled my brain, startling me to death. I flopped down my arm, patting around next to me and managed to find the source. My phone had 2 missed calls and a text from Remy. She let me know sheâd be a bit late but would make it no matter what. Pulling a hair tie out of my tangled mess, I dragged my tired body out of bed to get ready for the interview.
đźđźđźđźđźđź
âBillie, youâre going to be sitting over here, and Gabe is going to be interviewing you today, sitting over there.â
The coordinator waved me over in the right direction. I sat quietly and waited for the crew to finish up lighting and camera. Eventually, my interviewer walked over and made himself comfortable.
I laughed in disbelief and looked over at the coordinator, âGabe?â
âYup.â He leaned forward, holding his hand out to shake mine. He looked so pleased with himself. I ignored his reach, raising my brow. âOkay⌠nice to see you again, Billie.â He sat back and stifled a laugh.
I chewed on the inside of my cheek, and glared at him. Thinking about having to act civil around this piece of garbage for the cameras is making me sick. God, I cannot stand him and his stupid face.
âAre we ready?â He cleared his throat.
I adjusted in my seat, looking around one more time past the studio lights and saw no Remy. âYeah.â I could tell these bright lights would bring on a wave of tics, if not the unfortunate situation before me. Cameras closed in and the interview began.
I was basically on autopilot, trying not to destroy this man with my eyes. The last time I was face to face with Remyâs ex was 2 years ago. I was screaming at him to get the fuck out of her apartment. She made him pick up his things after he broke up with her for some other girl. Gabe swore he was just chasing a job offer in NYC, but Remy had seen messages between him and someone else planning to meet up. I stood at Remyâs side as he denied everything. He started a crazy argument and threw a glass across the room. I was on the other side of the room faster than he could react. Remy had never seen me that angry before.
âSo! Your fans want to know. Who did you write Lunch about?â Gabe asked, knowing it would piss me off.
âThatâs what you want to ask me? Of all things?â I laughed.
âCurious if I know her, is all.â He shifted in his seat and shrugged, nonchalantly. I wanna rip off his dumb smirk so bad.
I looked over at the cameras to have my very own The Office moment, but my eyes were drawn to none other than Remy. She awkwardly stood with her arms folded. I gave her a satisfied smile and when she waved at me, I quickly realized this is the last situation she probably wanted to walk into.
âNo, Itâs just a metaphor. I want people to think about who they want to eat for lunch. Itâs just a fun song.â I crossed my legs and resumed eye contact with him, reminding myself to not look unfriendly for the cameras.
âYouâre obviously very private about your love life.â He flipped through his notecards. I tilted my head, focusing on how stupid his stage voice sounds. âYou came out last year-â
âThis isnât exactly news.â I squinted my eyes, smiling sarcastically. âDo you have any questions about my new album, Gabe?â I chuckled a bit.
He laughed, brushing me off. He asked a few questions about the album and I dragged out the answers as much as I could, so he wouldnât have time to ask anymore stupid questions.
I managed to muscle through the rest of the interview and as soon as it was over I walked over to Remy, leaving him behind.
We walked into the room I left my phone in. âWhat the fuck.â Remy mouthed and pulled me into a hug.
âI know, letâs fucking go.â I grabbed her arm and started walking towards the exit.
âRemy! Hey!â Gabe shouted, making his way over to us. âHow have you been?â
I could feel Remy mentally wilting away. âGood, goodâŚCrazy seeing you here.â She spoke softly, smiling timidly.
âWell, Iâve been great!â He held his arms out, arrogant as can be, as if anyone asked.
âDid New York not work out?â I butted in.
âIt did, but Los Angeles is home, you know?â He responded matter-of-factly, not even bothering to look at me. âYou know I just chase better gigs. Better opportunities.â
âYeah⌠Good for you, Iâm happy for you, Gabe.â She smiled, keeping her voice sweet and mellow.
âYou still working at uhhâŚâ This idiot couldnât even remember where she worked. I always hated him. He didnât care enough about her. She deserved way better.
âYeah, Iâm-â Remy was cut off.
âMaybe we should grab lunch one day. Catch up, you know?â He stepped closer to her.
I watched her face as she struggled to come up with an excuse. âUh, I donât know. Maybe-â
âSheâs actually good, she just doesnât want to hurt your little feelings.â I crinkled my nose as I forced a smile at him, turning us towards the door.
âBillie, itâs fine-â Remy grabbed my arm with her free hand and held it there.
Gabe laughed, knowing how deep under my skin he could get. âYou look good, Rem. Weâll talk later without distractions.â He looked her up and down, licking his bottom lip.
I glared at him, imagining me shoving him away from her just like I did a couple years ago.
He looked down at me and paused for a second, his lips forming an overly confident smirk. He stood close enough for me to smell that gross overpowering cologne. I could feel myself tensing up and clenching my jaw.
âWhat, you donât get enough attention?â I lifted my chin, looking in his dark eyes.
He breathed out a laugh, poking his tongue into his cheek. âWhy, you want to share some with me?â
I took a step forward, causing Remy to put her arm between us. âCome on, Billie.â She put some pressure on his chest, causing him to lean back a bit. âLetâs go.â
He looked down at Remyâs hand pressing on his chest, then back at me sneering.
âBillie, please.â I let Remy pull me away, knowing if I stayed any longer Iâd break something on his face.
He laughed to himself. âIt was nice seeing you both. Good to see nothing has changed.â
âYeah, absolutely nothing.â Remy emphasized, pushing me in front of her so weâd walk away.
We walked out past the fans screaming and reaching their hands through the holes on the fence, and straight into her car. As much as it killed me not to say goodbye to them, I didnât have it in me to fake it.
âI hated that.â Remy began, starting her car and letting out a deep breath.
âIâm sorry, Remy, I could not stand his stupid fucking face. He was doing that shit to be disrespectful and Iâm not gonna let him-â
âYou canât do shit like that! What if someone saw and wrote or posted about it?â
I put my seatbelt on, knowing I couldâve taken the high road.
âDude youâre not actually thinking about seeing him right?â
âWhat? No! Why would I?â She pulled out of the parking lot, careful not to hit any fans.
âYou seemed happy to see him.â I looked out the window as the people waving blurred from the increase in speed.
âNo. I wasnât. I just wasnât going to attack him in front of his coworkers, Billie.â
âHis team wasnât in the room.â I mumbled.
She didnât respond.
âIâm sorry, I just fucking hate him. Heâs such a piece of shit.â
âShit, did you date him too?â She laughed under her breath, looking over at me momentarily.
I laughed, shaking my head and realizing how fast things escalated. My body finally relaxed, sinking into the seat and running my hands through my hair.

Random fucking Warriors headcanons because I can
A lot of this is going to be Ajax and Rembrandt, I'm staying on brand
Rembrandt is the most sarcastic/sassy out of the group. This is barely even a headcanon, I've just been listening to her lines in the album and she's just so sarcastic. Like "this is a graveyard" and just the way she says "can we stay on track" I just imagine her rolling her eyes and being so sassy about almost everything
Ajax loves loves loves music. She would have been a musician in a different life. This is something she and Mercy bond over later on. She's also a great dancer
Mercy is a good fighter BUT extremely uncoordinated. Like she's throwing wild punches and barely even looking where she's hitting but she's still gonna knock you out
Rembrandt and Ajax still flirt relentlessly after years of being together, like sickly sweet flirting to the point where even Cowgirl is telling them to get a room
Swan is a great singer. She usually sings old jazz songs and has accidentally put the other Warriors to sleep more than once because she has such a calming voice
Swan and Ajax definitely drunkenly made out at least once before Rembrandt and Mercy came into the picture. Both of them will take that to their grave
Cowgirl likes comics and bonds with Fox over that
Rembrandt, Ajax, and Swan are all gay. Mercy is gay with the biggest case of comphet you've ever seen before she met Swan. Cochise, Cleon, and Fox are bi. Cowgirl is the token straight girl in the gang
I've seen some people toss around the idea that Cleon and Masai start developing feelings for each other after the events of the album but I'm not a mega fan of the idea. However, I do think they become very close friends, and through that the Warriors and the Gramercy Riffs develop an allegiance covering the top and bottom ends of the boroughs (from the Bronx to southern Brooklyn)
Not a headcanon but a confirmation. The subways in the Bronx fucking SUCK. I have had the displeasure of trying to get from the Bronx to Brooklyn all of like five times and it is a terrible trip even without the whole of NYC trying to kill you on the way
Cochise is the one who does everyone's hair. I like to think she was the oldest of a lot of siblings (because I relate) and had the job of doing everyone's hair to get them ready for school. Ajax and Cleon's braids, Fox's space buns, etc. She also cuts Rembrandt's hair because she once saw Rembrandt about to cut her own hair with kitchen scissors and put an immediate stop to it
Cowgirl subway surfs
Rembrandt has mega ADHD
Rembrandt owns a lot of hoodies and typically wears really baggy clothes, but all of her actual shirts are crop tops (the shirts she's not stealing from Ajax)
Going off that, Mercy and Rembrandt are the clothing thieves in their relationships. Mercy does it because she can and she thinks it's funny when Swan gets confused wondering where all her clothes went. Rembrandt does it because Ajax's day to day clothes are comfier and also she likes seeing Ajax get flustered Every. Single. Time.

DEALER ELLIE SUPREMACY!!!!!! đ§đťââď¸đ§đťââď¸đ§đťââď¸
It was silent, neither of you moved or spoke, your eyes were fixed on each other, neither of you daring to look away. Your eyes were glassy and bloodshot and hers were cold and dark, your nose was sore and running as you sniffled holding the tears in your eyes that were begging to be let free. You didn't understand how a girl that shows you as much love as she does could hurt you so bad.
disclaimer: I am in fact british and I've tried to use american vocab in we meet again, darling because I imagined the story set in a US city (NYC in my mind but i left it blank so people could imagine whatever city they wanted but i digress) and i did not enjoy doing that bc ik i still make mistakes and i think it looks goofy so one shots and headcanons and stuff will probs be set in britain, sorry if that is a bit annoying <3
You and Ellie had went to a party at a friend's flat, you had dressed up nice and Ellie had admired you while licking her lips as you got ready.
"You look unreal babe."
"Thank you. Want me to do your makeup after?"
"Yeah but don't blind me this time."
"I didn't fucking blind you, you blinked it into your eyeball, who blinks without warning when you're doing mascara?"
"Someone that blinks normally." You scoff at her and go back to getting ready ignoring her victorious smirk in the mirror.
As you arrived at the party you were both in a great mood, you're immediately greeted by some friends as you walk in and Ellie kisses you on the cheek and takes her leave to go set up on the sofa. Immediately she's swarmed by people looking to get their fix, some wanted weed, some wanted blow, she always had a variety when she went to a party and you can't help the hot feeling in your core as you take in her sitting there, legs comfortably spread with a cigarette hanging from her lips. She had dark grey baggy jeans on, with a black t-shirt that poked out from her hoodie that matched the colour of her jeans, her black converse poke out from the jeans and you never aren't amazed at the state of them, you bought matching converse together and you're both wearing them tonight but they look like entirely different shoes. Her silver chain with a charm that's the first letter of your name is laid on top of her hoodie and the view makes you swoon. Her auburn shaggy hair cut is concealed mostly by her small black beanie, you had played with the hair on show at the back of her neck on the way here, you always loved when she wore a beanie, something about it was just so hot to you.
You had been dancing for hours and chatting when Ellie grabs you and drags you away from your conversation.
âCome on, weâre leaving.â
âIs everything okay?â She doesnât answer she just continues dragging you out of the flat, she doesnât release her tight grip on your arm until youâre walking through the door of your shared home. There was a red mark where her hand was and you watched as she froze when she saw the mark.
âBabe whatâs going on? Did something happen with a deal?â She chuckles, itâs dark and full of mockery.
âYou just donât fucking get it do you? Are you really this stupid or are you just an attention whore?â
âExcuse me?â Your ears rang as her words hit you, you felt a stabbing pain in your chest as tears pricked behind your eyes begging to release, you couldnât give her the satisfaction so you chewed on your bottom lip and blinked away the tears while you attempted to swallow the lump in your throat. âWhat the fuck are you talking about Ellie?â
âYou! Fucking parading yourself everywhere and if that wasnât enough you had to fucking hump Lucy right in front of my fucking face.â She yelled as she walked closer to you, you walked backwards trying to keep some space but as your back hit the wall she closed in on you. âDo you need me to remind you who you belong to hm?â
âFuck off Ellie.â You push her off of you with every ounce of strength as the dam breaks and the tears begin to flow down your cheeks, you storm away to your shared bedroom with a delusional hope that she wouldnât follow. You slam the door behind you only for it to immediately be slammed open again, the door smashes into the wall and you stay frozen with your back turned away from her.
âFuck off Ellie? seriously thatâs all you have to say? How about Iâm fucking sorry.â
You spin to face her at her statement. âIâM SORRY? I have nothing to be sorry for Ellie. I did nothing wrong.â
âBullshit.â
âFine Ellie, tell me exactly what I did wrong then.â Your voice comes out nasally and choked as the tears donât falter in their pace as they race down your cheeks. You meet her eyes and the look of contempt only makes you sob more.
âYou put on that skimpy outfit you know will get you attention then we go to the party and instead of coming to see me and sit with me and make it known that youâre mine, you literally speak to every single other person at the party. You were all over everyone, Iâm sure they were embarrassed for you because I fucking was. No wonder you feel like they donât like you as much anymore, they probably donât. Oh and just to top it off you then danced with Lucy right in front of me giving me a front row seat to her wandering hands and you being all over it. Youâre fucking out of order.â
You scoff at her, youâre genuinely stunned at how she could be so horrible. Ellie had never been like this with you, you were speechless.
âYeah exactly now youâve got nothing to say. If youâre gonna be a slut at least own it.â
âWhat the fuck did you just call me?â The tears had stopped, you werenât upset anymore you were furious, a red film was over your vision as you stomped over to her until your faces were inches away from each other. âGo on. Say it again.â
âI said youâre an attention-seeking slut.â She spat the words out with a venom and a switch flipped in your head. You didnât speak you just started walking around the room throwing all your essentials into the first bag you could find. She watches while still for a second but as she realises youâre packing she rushes to start taking all the things out of your bag.
âDonât Ellie. I donât want to speak to you right now. Leave me alone.â
âNo, youâre not leaving.â
âIâll do whatever the fuck I want.â She keeps removing the things that youâre packing from your bag until you huff and give up going to look for your car keys. âYou canât drive anywhere, youâre drunk.â You hated to admit she was right in the moment but you knew it wasnât worth the risk.
âThen Iâll get an uber.â You start searching for your phone until you turn to see Ellie holding it in her hand. You storm over to her but she holds it above your head so you canât reach. âEllie give it back Iâm serious.â
âI said you arenât leaving.â The tears begin again as you feel helpless.
âWhy do you fucking care? Iâm just a slut right, not your girlfriend of three fucking years.â
Itâs quiet as you both stand processing everything thatâs been said, tears are streaming down your face but you donât feel like youâre crying anymore. Ellie stands shifting her weight from one side of her body to the other as she fidgets with her fingers. She looks up at you and her heart breaks knowing sheâs the reason youâre so upset after having such a good night.
âWhy didnât you come and see me all night? You always come and sit with me while I do my deals at least for a little bit and you didnât. I rolled us a pink spliff to smoke together and you barely even came near me until you started grinding up against Lucy.â Her voice is soft and quiet, she sounds ashamed of herself because she is, sheâs ashamed that sheâs let her insecurities cause her to be horrible to the best person in her life, she felt sick with herself, she caught a glimpse of herself in the mirror hanging on the wall of the living room and all she saw looking back at her was a monster.
âEllie if you wanted to spend time with me you couldâve come and got me. You know I always want to spend time with you, I hadnât seen loads of those people for ages so I was just catching up. But if you wanted me to come sit all you had to do was come get me and you know I wouldâve sat with you until we left. I was dancing with Lucy my straight best friend of 12 years for fucks sake. If something was going on there it wouldâve happened already.â
âYou sure it hasnât?â Ellie knows it hasnât, she knows you would never do that. But her brain isnât connected to her mouth anymore, her jealousy is the only thing controlling her actions right now, she feels like sheâs watching a horrible film where the main character does the opposite of the right thing at every turn.
âYou are unbelievable. I have been nothing but a loyal and loving girlfriend to you, I do not deserve this and I donât have to prove anything to you but seeing as I have nothing to hide, my phone is in your hand. Go on Ellie, if you donât trust me, go through my phone and prove yourself wrong.â She looks down at the phone but doesnât make a move to unlock it. Her stillness only ignites the fire of your rage more. âGo on! You know the password, itâs your birthday! So go on Ellie, admit you donât trust me and go through my phone.â
She stays in her place looking at your phone until she sighs and holds it out to you. âOf course I trust you. You just- you donât notice how many peopleâs eyes are on you wherever we go, and itâs never bothered me, I love it, I love that youâre as beautiful as you are, Iâm proud to be next to you but when we were at that party all I could see were people trying to take you from me and when I looked at you all I could see was you leaving me.â She sniffles and you see a single tear run down her face that she wipes away as soon as she can. You take your phone from her hand and throw it down onto the sofa next to you before walking to stand right in front of her. She avoids your eyes but you gently nudge her chin so she looks at you.
âEllie, no one else could ever make me leave you. I love you, you are my world, my heart beats for you Ellie, it has since the day I met you. What will drive me away is if you take out your insecurities and jealousy on me instead of talking to me about it. I wonât stay around to be treated like this. I am better than this and I deserve better than this, I will help you work through this but not if youâre going to do this again.â It was like what you said was the end of the world as she immediately broke down into sobs, the sight stopped you in your tracks as Ellie never cried. You moved slowly like you were handling a bomb as you cupped her cheeks, your hands had barely touched her face before she was pulling you into a bone-crushing hug as she continued crying into your shoulder. You stroked her hair gently and let her cry until she calmed down enough to sniffle and take a deep breath.
âIâm sorry, please donât leave me. Iâll fix it, I wonât get jealous anymore I swear Iâm sorry.â She mutters into your shoulder as she cries more, her grip on you tightened almost like she was physically trying to stop you from going anywhere. You wrapped your arms around her neck and cuddle into her more as you walk backwards toward the sofa pulling her down on top of you.
âIâm not going to leave you and we can work on this together, youâre allowed to get jealous but you need to be able to discuss it with me instead of attacking me. Iâm sorry for making you feel forgotten, I had no intention of doing that but Iâm sorry that I made you feel that way anyway. I love you Ellie and you are the most beautiful person I have ever met, I am so lucky to have you I would never want anyone over you.â
She looks up at you and presses a light kiss to your lips, so sweet it almost rids your lips from the salty remnants of your tears. âI love you more. Thank you for being so good to me.â She doesnât seem entirely convinced by your description of her but she appreciates the reassurance more than she can explain.
You wrap your legs around her waist and squeeze her so tight you hear a choked groan leave her lips involuntarily. You make eye contact that neither of you break as you brush your knuckles over her cheek.
âI really am sorry. You know I didnât mean anything I said, Iâm sorry, please forgive me.â
âI do El. But it wonât happen again.â
âNever.â You share a timid kiss and she lays her head down on your chest to listen to your heartbeat, it had always soothed her, she feels herself calming and sinking into you until she looks up to see you already looking down at her with a devious smirk. âWhatâs up babe?â
âYou still got that pink spliff from earlier?â
âI love you so much.â

・.
We were born to be suburban legends. When you hold me, it holds me together, and you kiss me in a way thatâs gonna screw me up forever.
You werenât sure when or how Ellie had found the way up to the top of the roof of one of the many storage buildings in Jackson, but you were not complaining. You could see the Christmas lights that had been put up and the way they reflected off of the blanket of snow that had fallen during the day.
Ellie held you close, keeping your shivering body as tucked under her own jacket as she could. She had warned you it would be cold, and you had on a few layers, but you did not want to delay the adventure she had planned for you. She was leaving tomorrow, going with a team of some of the relevant patrol people to a recently discovered abandoned town. You werenât sure if abandoned was the right word when there were people there, they just happened to have cordyceps growing in their brains.
You wished you could burn the image of your outstretched legs, tucked neatly in between Ellieâs own into your brain. You wished you could keep the sound of her breathing on repeat while she was gone. You wished this moment was never going to end.
But, it was going to. Ellie was going to have to leave, adventuring to a place that could easily have her killed in less than a couple of minutes. You knew she was doing it for the town, and that her main motivation was you. She had whispered to you how she was going to get you supplies for the children you watched at the daycare, how she was going to bring back new clothes for you to look pretty in, hot chocolate to keep your hands warm on your next adventure, all while she held you tightly, just as she now.
There were few times when Ellie could find the right words to say. She was easily overtaken by emotion, often saying things she didnât mean, whether it be because she was angry and trying to hurt someoneâs feelings, or if she was making a joke because a situation was uncomfortable for her. She stumbled over her words when she was trying to be sweet and spit them out with venom when she was trying to be mean.
But, you could feel everything she couldnât say as she held you close. She picked up your darkest fears, your biggest worries, your happiest memories, and everything in between in her large hands, and bundled you up, protecting you from anything that could hurt you.
Even your own thoughts, just as she was now.
Ellie broke the comfortable silence that had settled between you with a deep sigh, pressing a warm kiss into the back of your head. âI hate that this is the world we were given,â She whispered into the night. She wasnât sure if she was talking to you, or if she was just speaking into the open air. Either way, you were listening.
âWhat dâya mean?â You asked, pressing yourself closer to her, trying to absorb some of your warmth. âWe couldâve like, fucking,â there she was, struggling to vocalize her thoughts, âlived in a townhouse, or some shit like that. We couldâve had a cat, an orange one like you always wanted.â You smiled in her arms, recalling all of the times youâd mentioned the cat you wished you couldâve had.
âWe couldâve lived in a suburb,â You giggled, trying to imagine Ellie working a 9 to 5, stressing about things that were happening in the office, rather than the infected that were walking around. âWe really couldâve,â she laughed, really enjoying conjuring up this imaginary life with you. She let out another chuckle, âIâd have a hot work wife that youâd be crazy jealous of.â
âHey!â You exclaimed, lightly slapping her arm. âI would not!â You two were a mess of laughter, each picturing the different lives you couldâve been given. As things settled down, she pressed another kiss to the back of your head, âyou totally would, though.â You rolled your eyes, letting her win the argument.
Another comfortable silence fell over you two. This one was heavier. You both knew the other was full of wishfulness, desires that could never be fulfilled. It went on like this for a few moments.
âIâm sorry,â Ellie mumbled into the back of your head after a while. âFor what?â You asked, grabbing her hand in an effort to warm your own. âThat I couldnât give you a better life."
âEllie,â you gasped, actually hurt by her words. You turned your body to look at her, making sure she was listening to every word you were about to say. âYou have done everything you can to make sure Iâve gotten the best out of the shitty hand we were dealt. I would not trade my time with you for any townhouse, any cat, or any suburb.â
Her eyes were practically hearts are you reassured her. You couldnât tell if the pink on her cheeks from your monologue, or the piercing cold. She held eye contact with you for a while, taking in how pretty you were. Then, she was pulling towards her, meeting you halfway. The kiss was electric, warming your entire body. Your cold hands slipped under her hoodie, pulling her as close to you as you could. Ellie didnât mind the chill of your hands, she was too entranced by you.
You two pulled away breathlessly, but neither one of you let go of the other. âCan I tell you a secret?â She asked, her grip on you tightening. Her heart was beating in her chest, and you see the way her breathing sped up by the clouds of smoke that continually spread over your face. You mumbled an âOf courseâ, reaching up to push a loose hair out of her face.
âYou donât have to worry about me getting infected tomorrow,â You laughed at her statement. Of course, you were going to worry, you always worried about her. âI mean it, you really donât.â There was some kind of seriousness in her tone that quieted your laughs. You gave her the space to continue talking. âIâm immune,â she was hesitant to speak, âthatâs why we ended up in Jackson in the first place. We needed Tommy to take us to this doctor guy, shit went down, and now Iâm back. I was supposed to be the cure. I couldâve given you your townhouse.â
Tears were filling her eyes as she told you her story. You felt yourself start to well up. If there was one thing Ellie was good at, it was self-sabotaging. She could never let herself have anything good, and she could surely never believe someone would choose her over everything. But youâd commit to trying to get her to every day.
âEllie, please donât make me tell you again,â Your tone was soft, but it was clear you were joking. It made her smile. âI donât want a stupid townhouse, or even a single family home for that matter. I just want you.â She moved her hand out of yours, holding it up for you to twist your pinky into. âPromise?â She asked, sheepishly. You locked your pinkies and leaned down to press a kiss to your intertwined hands.
You two resumed your first position, snuggled up tightly. However, the silence was once again broken when you spoke up, âYou still have to be careful, yâknow. You can get hurt even if you canât get infected.â She laughed again at your worries and tried to ease them with one more kiss to the back of your head.

Pairing: Gerard Way x Fem Reader secretary
CW: power imbalance, use of daddy, brat, spanking, fingering, choking, p in v, slight degradation, drinking, drunk while p in v, semi public ?, face fucking, hair pulling, soft ending, 18+
Summary: You are Gerards secretary and y'all do some nasty stuff in his office and at his home.
It had been my one year anniversary at my new job. I was the CEOâs secretary and was always told how I did an excellent job. I was an overachiever youâd say, Iâd take over jobs before my boss told me to, and spend all nighters on work. I was one of the very few women in the office but I didnât mind, it usually meant I got more expensive gifts! But my pay for the work I did was not satisfactory.Â
I love my job and wouldnât trade it for the world. My boss Mr. Way was an excellent business man with the best of manners. But, he was a flirt, a tease, youâd say. Your attraction to him never went beyond a steamy makeout session in his office and some hands between your thighs. If you saw him outside of the law firm youâd never think he was some top boss to a bunch of lawyers that represented mob members. I will admit it was scary at times having grown men yell at you and not being able to yell back.Â
Being from New Jersey the one thing that got me in trouble the most was my mouth. Mr. Way loved it though, it tested his control. His closest friends and top employees were big flirts too, but I didnât want them as much as I wanted him.Â
I walked into the law firm and greeted people as I passed. I had a small office of my own but it wasnât nearly as spacious as Mr. Wayâs. I made special cookie brownies for my one year anniversary here and couldnât wait to share them. I put all my heavy things away and first went to go get coffee for myself and a couple others. As I stood at the coffee machine I felt a hand smack my ass. I turned to see Mr. Iero standing next to me, I was so used to him being touchy-feely. âI could sue you for that, Mr. Iero,â I said, trying to sound serious. He chuckled, âYouâd lose anyway,â he took a sip of the fresh coffee I made.Â
I rolled my eyes, âYouâd lose anyway,â I mocked him. âBetter watch it or Iâll get you in trouble with Gerard,â he raised his brow following behind me. I opened Mr. Wayâs office door to not see him there, âIs he here yet?â I asked Frank. He was always early even before me and I made sure to get there at 6:30 am sharp. Keep in mind I live in Jersey and transport by train to NYC.Â
âHavenât seen him, why? You miss your lil boyfriend,â he teased. I placed his coffee on his desk ready for when he does get here. âNot my boyfriend and I brought a special treat for later and I want him to be the first to try,â I said going to make my way to Mr. Toro and Mr. Mikey as we called him. Itâs confusing to have two different Mr. Ways. âNow, leave me to it, yeah?â I smiled ruffling his long hair.Â
I could tell I got him hot and bothered by the way he unbuttoned his first two buttons on his shirt. I walked into the office that both Mr. Mikey and Mr. Toro shared. âHi boys,â I smiled, receiving compliments from both. âDonât you look amazing,â Mr. Toro said, kissing my hand. âWhatâre you dressing up for,â Mr. Mikey asked. âItâs officially been one year since I started,â I smiled. âThank you for the coffee Mrs. Y/N, and congratulations to you,â Ray smiled and I went to go see if Mr. Way was here yet.Â
I snuck by his office and peeked in the door window to see him working on his computer and taking sips of his coffee. I hurried to my office and grabbed the cookie brownies I made. I checked my makeup one last time and freshened up my dark red lipstick.Â
My heels echoed in the halls as I nervously approached his door, I knocked before opening right away. Gerard met me at the door and saw my hands full of brownies and papers. âWhatcha got here?â he said excited and curious. He took the papers from me and placed several kisses on my cheek and jaw. Smothering me.Â
I blushed and laid the brownies on his desk, a cigarette from his ash tray filling the air with smoke. He stood in front of me, staring at me up and down. âI made brownies and wanted you to be first to try them,â I said, scooting closer to him, our faces inches apart as I put my arms around his waist. âArenât you sweet,â he smiled, grabbing my chin and kissing me gently trying not to get my lipstick on him. I gave him a piece and I heard him moan in joy, âTheyâre delicious but not as sweet as you,â he said, rubbing our noses together cutely.Â
But there was more that I wanted to talk about with him, getting a raise. Which I knew wasnât going to be easy. Gerard sat on his chair taking a puff of his cigarette, âCould I talk to you about something?â I asked shyly. âOf course you can,â he said, patting his lap motioning me to sit on it. I played with his messy hair and took in his features, it didnât look like he got much sleep. âSo?â he said, pulling me out of my gaze.Â
âYâknow itâs my one year anniversary here anddd I wanted to see if I could get a raise,â I was so nervous for his response. He chuckled, âWeâll see about that. Youâll have to earn it though,â he said with a smirk. I swallowed, âHavenât I done enough Mr. Way? So not fair,â I whined. He grabbed my face and pulled his mouth next to my ear, âYou watch that fuckin attitude right now, understand?â he said, placing a kiss on my neck. I nodded, when he got dominant like that it made my heart race and that wasnât the only thing having a heartbeat.Â
I moaned when he kissed my neck, making his demeanor change completely. He told me to get up from his lap and I thought he was going to leave the room but he locked the door and put the blinds down so no one could see inside. He rolled up his sleeves and walked over to me with a dominating hunger in his eyes. âTake your skirt off,â he demanded as he sat in his leather chair.Â
I hesitantly took my skirt off, leaving me in a black silk button up and black tights. Shoes left with the skirt. He grabbed me and laid me over his lap, âWhatâre you doi-,â SMACK. I moaned out in pleasure and pain. âBrats like you donât get to boss around their daddy like that,â he said, smacking each cheek several times. He rubbed and grabbed my ass with such force, leaving more hard smacks. He told me to get up which I did and he shoved all the papers that were once cluttered up to the side.Â
He pushed me against the desk, towering over me. I grabbed his black and white striped tie and pulled his face closer to me, âIs that all you got, sir?â I teased him, knowing that would only make him more rough with me. He pushed me onto the table and ripped a large hole in my tights. âGerard!â I was upset with him at that moment, I didnât bring an extra pair with me. âIâd prefer if you didnât wear these. I want easier access to whatâs mine,â he said, getting on his knees and kissing around my thigh and on the small fabric that covered my pussy.Â
He slowly moved my panties over, running his finger up and down the wetness. I bit my lip trying to contain the moans. He teased my hole with his fingers, âBeg,â he said, removing his fingers. âGerard please, give it to me,â I begged him, getting sexually frustrated with him. He inserted two fingers and slowly worked them, my juice leaking out and all over his fingers. His thumb rubbed on my clit which drove me mad. I was a squirming, wet, and hot mess for him.Â
âGerard, I..Iâm gonna,â I breathed heavily, gripping his full head of hair. âCum for me you dirty whore,â he growled, slapping my sensitive cunt. I came all over his fingers and he stuck his fingers in his mouth, tasting me. He unbuckled his pants, throwing the belt onto the floor and ripped his pants off, leaving him in his boxers. You could see how hard he was, he pressed his bulge right against my soaking wet cunt.Â
He pressed his lips to mine, our mouths dancing messily together. His lips and face were covered in lipstick, but mine was too. Gerard took out his cock and teasingly rubbed it against my folds. He slapped my cunt with it, âHow bad do you want it? How bad do you want your boss's cock huh?â he smirked. âGive it to me, Iâve never wanted something so bad,â I whined, throwing my arms around his neck. âYouâre forgetting something sugar,â he said, pulling his cock away from my cunt.Â
âPlease daddy,â I whispered in his ear, my warm breath sending chills down his arms. He slowly put his cock inside me and I moaned in pain and pleasure as he was thick in size. His pace sped up and his hips slammed into mine. My moans echoed in the room and Gerard kept a tight grip around my throat. âTake that fucking cock,â he murmured in my ear. âLook at you, taking your bossâs cock like the whore you are. Let everyone know how Iâve claimed you,â he said, staring into my soul. âYou donât own me, you stupid man,â I smirked, fighting back with him.Â
âOh yeah? Everyone on this floor can hear you right now taking my fat cock. If they try anything with you theyâre gone,â he said, pinning my arms down and slamming into me. My walls tightened as I came all over his cock, my ears rang and my mouth was dry. âDaddyâs gonna cum, holy shit,â he said, pushing his hair out of his face. Gerard had plans of pulling out but I stopped him by wrapping my legs around him, forcing him to cum inside me.Â
âLook at you, what a good girl,â he said, kissing me all over my lipstick covered face. âDo I get that raise?â I said, trying to catch my breath. âWeâll see,â he smiled, putting his clothes back on. I took my tights off and threw them in the bin. We looked at ourselves in the mirror and tried our best to wipe off the lipstick. I laughed at him trying to rub it off with his fingers, smudging it even more.Â
âDo you think theyâre gonna stare at me?â I whispered standing at the door. He chuckled lightly, âNo sweetheart, just hide your face and you should be fine,â he said, staying in his office. I took a deep breath and exited. I used my hand to hide my face but while shielding myself I accidentally bumped into someone. âWhat the hell happened to you?â Frank said. âMind your business,â I said pushing past him into my office. I scoured through my purse for my makeup wipes and started hurriedly wiping it off. KNOCK, âI need to talk, itâs important. Iâm too impatient to wait,â Frank came in bothering me.Â
I groaned in annoyance, âDo you not have any manners? Holy shit,â I said, throwing my wipe away and taking out my makeup to touch up. âDo YOU have any manners?! Moaning for the entire office to hear,â he mocked my moans. I got fed up and took my heel off and threw it at him.Â
~^~^~^~^~^~^
It was about 7pm and I was beyond tired, my office was dimly lit by my computer screen and a lamp in the corner. I sighed frustrated trying to set up meetings and such for Gerard. KNOCK, âCome in!â I yelled not taking my eyes off the screen. âMy lil workaholic,â Gerard said, leaning against the desk. I sighed, âI wouldnât be if these people knew how to communicate,â I was frustrated and ran my fingers through my hair. âLog off for the night! Wanna get drinks with us?â he offered, grabbing my stuff and placing it in front of me. âWhoâs us?â I asked. âFrank, Ray, Mikey. Oh and Mikey told me he was scared,â Gerard laughed. âHeâll get over it. But yes, Iâd love to,â I said, grabbing my cardigan so I wouldnât absolutely freeze on this autumn night.Â
We all walked out of the building together with me wrapped around Gerardâs arm, the taxi ride to the bar was just the guys teasing us for our little workplace hookup. âYouâre just jealous!â I exclaimed, nudging Frank in the ribs.Â
We got to the bar and we got placed in a dark private corner, Gerard and I sat together on one side and the three of them on the other. Several drinks were ordered and I quickly got drunk but not belligerent. I was so touchy with Gerard, whispering several compliments in his ear all night. âYou smell so good, itâs so intoxicating,â I said, kissing his neck. âI want you,â I whispered in his ear. Gerard grabbed my face with his hand and kissed me, âWait until we get home,â he said which caught me off guard.Â
âHome?â I said, confused. âMhm, youâre going home with me tonight,â he turned his attention back to the table after his sly comment. While I was still intoxicated by his smell and way with words, I got myself on his lap and rested my head on his chest. âLook at you two, your love makes me sick almost,â Ray said jokingly which made me chuckle. âHe doesnât know that,â I said, shushing him with my finger. I loved Gerard, he was my type to the T. I felt his chest vibrate from nervously chuckling at my drunk confessions.Â
~^~^~^~^~^~^
I stood outside with Gerard holding me up and forcing water down my throat. Which I fought of course. âY/N sweetheart itâs starting to rain, please just drink this while I get a cab,â he said sternly which made me stop and do as he pleases. I love when he bosses me around, I couldnât imagine myself as anyone elseâs secretary.Â
He catches a cab for us and takes me to his place, my legs draped over his. He walked me to his high rise apartment and I was in awe at how nicely decorated it was. âHoly shit, this is really your place huh?â I said, starting to undress myself without any care in the world. Left to my bra and underwear. I make my way to his bed and hop into the cold sheets, âCan I finally have you?â I giggle trying to hint at him.Â
There he stood at the end of bed, undressing himself in such a hurry to get to me. He crawled to me getting under with me and immediately assumed into the big spoon position. His body was so warm despite looking like a vampire. Wet kisses covered my neck making me giggle, âWhatâs so funny?â he joked. âIt just feels good,â I smile, tiredly. âIâm not done with you yet,â he said, shoving his face into my neck, kissing and sucking. âGerard,â I moaned. âEveryones gonna see-â he covered my mouth, shushing me.Â
His other hand trailed down to my abdomen, his fingers slowly lifting the edge of my panties. His fingers worked themselves around my clit, I wanted more of him. âYouâre already so fucking wet for daddy,â he growled into my ear. I palmed his cock through his underwear, feeling the wetness of precum leaking through. I stopped him so I could take his cock out, pulling his underwear off and onto the floor. I spit on his head, lubricating my hand.Â
âSuck on it you dirty whore,â he grabbed a fist full of my hair. I whimpered as he shoved my mouth onto his cock. My mouth was small and I couldnât help but gag on his length. He bucked his hips up, going deeper into my throat. Drool began to fall and pool as he face fucked me, not loosening his grip on my hair. I felt him pulse and do one more push down my throat to release himself. He pulled away with cum all over my lips. âCâmere baby,â he said, pulling me back to his chest.Â
He lifted my leg and teased my hole with the tip of his cum and saliva covered cock. Without warning he shoved his cock inside me making me gasp in pleasure. âYeah? This what you want?â he purred in my ear, pounding. The sound of skin clapping together.Â
Somehow we ended up in doggy but my phone rang. I groaned in annoyance and I was going to hit decline but Gerard said, âWho is it?â he questioned. âFrank,â I moaned out as he didnât stop fucking me. âAnswer it,â he demanded. I hit the green call button and put it on the speaker.Â
âHey I just wanted to know if you got home safely,â he asked, seeming about as drunk as I was earlier but tried to hide it. âY-yeah, I did,â I said, trying to not moan or whimper but it still came off suspicious. âAre you okay Y/N? Do I need to come over?â he said, trying to have an excuse to hook up. âNo, itâs fine. FUCK!â I yelled into the pillow as Gerard railed me, cumming all over his cock. âGerard, please-,â I said, gripping the sheets.Â
âWell Iâll let you two love birds have fun,â he giggled like a schoolgirl. I hung up the phone and Gerard pulled my head back by the throat and pulled me up. He kissed me on the neck and back, burrowing his cock deep inside me. He pulled out and I felt his cum leak out of me.Â
Our bodies collapsed together and my eyes fluttered. âYouâre so hot, you know that?â he said, stroking my hair. âSayâs you,â I poke his chest. âWe should probably get cleaned up before we go to bed sticky and sweaty,â he suggested, rubbing my thighs gently and kissing my temple. I agreed and was able to stand but barely, as my legs were too wobbly and weak. Gerard noticed and came to my side, âLet daddy help you,â he said, wrapping his arm around my waist.Â
He started the shower and the steam filled the bathroom, we took turns washing each other and it was everything I couldâve wanted. It was bliss, to have someone care for me, love me, hold me. The thought of past relationships came rushing to my head, I covered my face with my hands. âSweetheart, whatâs wrong?â Gerard asked, pulling my hands from my face. âItâs nothing, really,â I tried sucking up, letting the shower water cleanse my salty face.Â
âItâs clearly something, Y/N. No need to hide,â he said sweetly, he was a lot more protective than what I was used to but I loved it. It brought a sense of comfort and safety, not the type of protectiveness that sheltered you from the world. âIâve just never felt so cared for, so wanted,â I said sniffling. âIâll always be here for you, youâre my baby,â he said, holding me in his arms, rocking back and forth gently. âDoes this make usâŚâ I said, raising my brows at him. âPartners? Absolutely.âÂ

The Women's Guide to Sex, Love, and the City - Y/n L/n
Jane Austen famously began her novel, Pride and Prejudice, by saying it's a universally acknowledged truth that âa man in possession of a good fortune must be in want of a wifeâ. Obviously Jane Austen didn't live in 21st century NYC. Nowadays, the very idea of a man wanting to settle down with pure intentions is far-fetched, and a smart woman is especially wary if a man bringing up marriage is wealthy. The topic of love has people in the city so divided that some believe it doesn't exist at all. After hearing both sides out, I can' help but wonder if love is truly just a scam perpetrated by men to get more blowjobs. Are straight women afflicted with a toxoplasmosis type parasite that makes them fall for men so irrationally hard? After running this column for two years and reading all the dating horror stories sent in, I'm starting to think all the women vowing celibacy are onto something. So, when my close friend and roommate, F/n, sat me down to discuss moving in with her new boytoy, I found myself having to bite my tongue.Â
â â
â
â
ââââ ⥠âââ â
â
â
ââ
âHis name is Theodore Nivison, but he goes by Ted,â F/n filled you in on the name of the man you were about to meet, a smile emerging on her face as his name left her lips. "Well, he's actually trying to make Theo a thing now,"
"Theo? really?" You replied, unimpressed. Without hesitation, you pulled out your phone, ready to do an impromptu background check on the man your friend planned to move in with. She had been very closed off about the details of their relationship, not wanting to say too much too early. However, after six months of dating, she seemed confident that their relationship would at least last over a year and was ready to preform the ultimate trust falls -- moving in and introducing him to her best friend, you .
F/nâs hand darted across the table and landed on top of yours, gently lowering your phone. âThatâs not necessary, Y/n. Besides, you wouldnât be able to find much anyways.â
You raised an eyebrow. âItâs not that rare of a name, F/n. It wouldnât be hard unless he gave you a fake one.â
F/n let out a small laugh, âItâs not like that! Heâs just a youtuber so heâs got that stuff hidden as much as he possibly can!â
You sent F/n an incredulous stare, putting your phone back onto the table. She smiled in return, used to your protectiveness, knowing what was coming next. âA man moving to New York from LA is bad enough F/n, but an influencer?â You began to chastise her. âHeâsââ
âI know the drill Y/n, we donât need to go through this every time.â She rolled her eyes lightheartedly.Â
Many found your skepticism towards love annoying, but F/n understood it. As your lifelong best friend, F/n knew very well how hopeless it was to try and get you to play into the scam that is dating in the city. Still, she always tried her very best to change your mind on the matter, even when others thought it to be a lost cause.
âIâm just saying, you know how men like that can be. Massive fucking egos that get in the way of everything,â You stabbed a fork into your salad a bit harder than intended. âIs he actually successful, or just a wannabe? You donât want some guy with some soundcloud rapper mindset.â
âHeâs got over a million subscribers I think?â She hummed, unlocking her phone and scrolling for a few moments before turning the screen to you, a dark haired man with glasses staring at you.
âI mean heâs cute I guess, if youâre into the geeky look,â You examined his face. âYou could find someone hotter, but Iâd probably hate him more if he was.â
F/n put away her phone and swatted the side of your arm playfully. âYou havenât even met him yet!â You paused as you lifted another forkful to your mouth.
âWe both know how this is gonna go, F/n. He could be Jesus-fuckinâ-Christ himself and he still wouldnât be good enough for you.â
She let out a small laugh. âWell, please donât be too obvious about your feelings. He should be here aboutââ She quickly checked the time on her lockscreen, but before she could finish her sentence the tall dark haired man you recognized as Ted speed-walked over right on cue, a brunette above 6ft with odd facial hair trailing after him. You couldnât help but think he pulled off the mutton chop look. He was hot in a weird way. Fuckable, but if you were showing your friends a photo of him you would have to preface it by saying he doesnât photograph well.
âSorry, sorry! Am I late?â Ted leaned down to kiss F/nâs cheek, your friend grinning brightly at the small action.Â
âRight on time, Ted.â F/nâs grin was plastered on her face, but a quick glance toward you showed that her eyes begged you to play nice. âThis is Y/n by the way.â She gestured to you expectantly. It took you a few moments to catch on, busy chewing on your salad and sneaking glances at the man who seemed to be a friend of Ted, but once you realized you were meant to do something, you quickly waved.Â
Ted sat in the seat beside F/n, leaving the man who accompanied him standing beside the table. âSorry, Schlatt wanted to tag along, but I figured he wouldnât be too much of a nuisance.â He apologized, mostly to F/n.
âDonât lie, youâre the one who clings to me whenever weâre in the same city. He basically begged me to come along,â âSchlattâ huffed.
âOh Schlatt, you can sit beside Y/n!â F/n pointed to the chair beside you. You moved your purse to hang on the back of your chair, watching the tall man as he crossed over to sit beside you, giving him a polite small smile. He replied with a silent, examining look.
The man didnât seem socially awkward, instead Schlatt just came off as reserved. From Tedâs comment about him being a nuisance, this behavior seemed odd to you. Perhaps he was just being good for Tedâs sake, or maybe getting a feel of the situation before getting comfortable.Â
âIâm Y/n,â You introduced. Not knowing what to do or say, you went to take another bite of your salad, only to be greeted by an empty bowl. You tried not to frown at the betrayal, opting to take a sip of your drink instead. Schlatt let out a hum, turning on his phone. Perhaps he was just tired?
âSo, are you two looking forward to the party tonight?â Ted spoke up, breaking the silence that fell over the table. Although his body language made him appear comfortable, with his arm stretched around F/n, you noticed the awkwardness he felt through the apparent stiffness of his shoulders.
âParty?â You looked over to F/n who smiled sheepishly.Â
âTed! I was gonna ease her into it!â F/n laughed. âTed invited us to a party with him and Schlatt, itâs gonna be a good one apparently. Some group rented out a mansion on AirBnB. You totally have to come!â
âIâm busy that day,â You said quickly. Schlatt, who was busy on his phone, let out a small chuckle that he tried to bite back.
âItâs tonight,â Ted restated.
âYeah and I have plans tonight,â You said quickly, searching your brain for an excuse. Your search was cut short by F/n.
âYou were complaining about having nothing to do all day when we got here. Câmon Y/n, Itâll be fun!âÂ
You went to sip your drink to stall while you thought of an escape plan, only to end up slurping air. The world seemed to be against you today. âOkay, okay, only for a bit. And Iâm stealing back the Jimmy Choos I let you borrow.â
â â
â
â
ââââ ⥠âââ â
â
â
ââ
Sometimes you wished you were better at saying no to F/n. Especially right now.
The party was lively. The bass throbbed throughout the rented mansion as if the building had a heartbeat and the large crowd of people gathered throughout the house swayed in time with it as if the party had cast a spell upon them and commanded it. Although you were committed to being huffy in the corner, you couldnât help tapping a foot as well. Outside, in the absurdly large yard took place a makeshift game of baseball while others mingled on the deck.
Hate was a word you often used quite liberally despite being warned against it your whole childhood. Despite its secure place in your vocabulary, it was rare for you to truly mean the word as defined. However, in your current situation you felt yourself feeling the word so deeply it was as if you created it yourself. Your irritation was worsened by the knowledge that if the party was populated by any other group of people, youâd be having an amazing time. It wasnât as if you were upset just because you were a buzzkill. No, usually you were the first one to suggest a night out and the last one to get into the uber home (after being pulled in by your friends). Your attitude wasnât for a lack of loving parties. You just hated the people at this one specifically. You couldnât stand influencers.
Your eyes scanned the crowd for F/n, noting the amount of cameras out with scrutiny. You couldnât help but wonder how many of these people actually liked each other. How many of them were actually friends once the cameras shut off? You couldnât stand the insincerity that seemed to permeate through every interaction they had, not to mention the egos that they broke their back carrying.Â
Unfortunately, the familiar face you were searching for was nowhere to be found, the two of you had been separated an hour ago when a group of people pulled her and Ted away to talk. Your phone battery was dangerously low, so you didnât send more than one text her way. It was only a mansion, she couldnât have gotten far. Surely youâd find each other if you stayed in one spot. The situation made you feel a bit like a child lost in a supermarket.
The sigh that escaped your lips was rendered inaudible by both the music and the laughter floating through the open patio door to your right, where out in the backyard a makeshift baseball game seemed to be occurringâ with cameras out, of course. Unlike usual, your carefully crafted, much too expensive outfit wasnât enough to lift your spirits. Opting for plan b, you raised your lips to take a sip of your drink.Â
It seemed as if brunette men over 6ft were scurrying into your life like rats, with the man who just came to stand beside you being no exception. You tried to subtly look at the attractive man under the guise of scanning the crowd for F/n once more as you sipped your drink, only to notice him staring at you. Like a cobra, the moment the rim of the cup left your lips, he struck quickly.
âI havenât seen you around this type of thing before, whatâs your name?â He questioned. You took the opportunity to get a better look at the man before looking away with faux disinterest. You were opposed to love, yes, but a good hookup was something you were always glad to indulge in.
âIsnât introducing yourself first the chivalrous thing to do?â You commented, opting to act hard to get to give him the thrill of the chase.
âOh! Excuse my manners, Iâm a bit buzzed. Iâm Hasan Piker. Can I know your name now, mystery girl?â
You let out a small laugh, turning to face him finally. âY/n.â
âY/n? I donât think Iâve heard of you. Iâd certainly remember if I did. What type of content do you make?âÂ
You tried not to grimace at his assumption. âIâm sort of a sexual anthropologist.â You stretched your job description to the limit.
He raised an eyebrow. âOnlyfans?âÂ
âA magazine advice columnist. It focuses on sex and relationships. Itâs a bit of a mix of my personal life and reader questions.â You elaborated with a laugh. âThough Iâm trying to break into real journalism.â
He laughed. ââSexual anthropologistâ?â He ruminated on the words. âWell thatâs a creative way of saying it, although it doesnât seem to be entirely inaccurate.â
âIâm assuming youâre a streamer or something?âÂ
âQuite a bit of political content.â
You hummed. âMore respectable than most, depending on your alignment.â
Hasan let out a small chuckle. âLet's not talk business. I canât chat long, content obligations y'know? But I noticed you from across the room and wanted to give you my number, maybe we could get more acquainted later.â He gave you a quick wink. The cheesy expression was charming when coming from his strikingly handsome freckled face.
You pulled out your phone, opening it up to the contacts app and handing it over. âI donât hate the idea of that,â You smirked, internally beginning to enjoy being dragged along to this party now that you had the chance at spending a night of hot, meaningless sex with his muscular form.
He took the phone from your hand and typed in his number. âI have to go, but text me. Iâll be looking forward to it.â His warm hand brushed against your exposed back, rubbing a small circle into your flesh with his thumb before slinking into the crowd from where he came.
You tried to hide the smirk that threatened to creep onto your lips, trying to play it cool in case anyone was watching. In an attempt to hide your smirk of satisfaction you raised your drink to your lips, only to find yourself wet and on the floor just a millisecond later, pain and the flashes and clicks of cameras flooding your senses.
The large form crashing into your body was far too sudden for you to even make a sound or register what had happened for a few moments. Slowly your brain began to piece things together. The open patio door in front of you, the baseball game going on outside that had halted with its players staring your way in shock, the impossibly heavy weight that kept you pinned to the hardwood floor. Some fucker had tackled you in an attempt to catch a ball. You were too stunned to speak, and the delayed full-body pain that flowed into your body only added to your silence.
âWatch where youâre standing, toots.â The voice, mixed with the telltale slur of a drunk man, sounded slightly familiar. Your disoriented brain took a bit to focus, but once it did you saw the face of Tedâs friend Schlatt hovering above you illuminated by harsh camera flashes.
Your eyes stung as they teared up, embarrassment, pain, and anger flooding your senses all at once.
âWatch where Iâm standing? Youâre the one who fucking ran into me!â You shouted back in anger, not caring about the cameras and bystanders surrounding you. âGet off of me!â
The man huffed as he moved his large form to his feet, a motion your sore body copied once he released you from your prison beneath him. âIf you paid more attention to your surroundings youâdâve seen me coming!âÂ
âItâs a dark room!â
âTry drinking less, youâll be more alert,â He retorted with a pissed off chuckle.
âIâm not the one who reeks of whiskey!â You angrily jabbed a finger into his chest. âIâm not taking this from some asshole with an over-inflated ego,â You glared before turning on your heel and storming away, focusing most of your energy on not stumbling in pain with such a variety of pitying and angry eyes on your form. Behind you you could hear Schlatt yell out in triumph about having caught the ball, his announcement eliciting loud cheers.
âY/n! Whatâs wrong?â You heard F/nâs worried voice as you neared the party's exit. Ted trailed behind her, looking confused at the state you were in. You must have looked like a wreck. Even without a mirror you could tell your hair was messed up and your backless white dress was definitely stained from your spilled drink.Â
âThat fucking guy, Schlatt,â You replied, sending a glare to Ted. âCrashed into me trying to catch a ball and blamed it on me.â
F/nâs face turned angry at your words, looking expectantly at Ted and presumably opening her mouth to tell him to do something about his friend.
âIâll talk to him, he hasnât been himself recently,â Ted spoke quickly, giving you an apologetic look.
âDonât. I donât want some coerced apology. Heâs a dick, itâs whatever. I doubt Iâll even see him much after tonight.â You werenât sure why F/n and Ted had such weird looks on their faces as you said that, but you felt too scrambled to question it. âIâm just worried about pictures and videos of it ending up everywhere.â
âIâll see what I can do,â Ted comforted.Â
âLet's get you home first, I doubt you want to be here any longer,â F/n spoke, placing a hand on your shoulder and guiding you out the front door.
The outside air was cool upon your skin as your drink dried into sticky patches on your skin. The fall breeze felt piercing on the wet spots of your dress that clung tightly to you. You let out a small sigh, the sound of the party fading into the background as the three of you walked to Tedâs car. He had agreed to be the designated driver for the night, something you appreciated. You would have felt awful making some poor Uber driverâs car reek of booze.Â
You were so exhausted you didnât pay much attention to F/n helping you into the car, your body feeling heavy as you rested your head against the back seat window. Thankfully, the two in the front seat respected your reluctance to talk much. You found yourself ruminating on your latest interaction with Schlatt. It had felt so fast that there wasnât much for you to ruminate about, but of one thing you were certain: you deplored Schlatt and looked forward to never seeing him again.

Natasha had ended her phone call by the time Miller and his agents showed up. It was a team of six people, including Miller, guns out and at the ready, eyes alert and scanning the scene before them. Wanda and Natasha stood near the invisible creature, not wanting to lose or forget where it was, but far enough to not continue disturbing the scene before them.
âWhat happened? We heard shots,â Miller asked, his tone even as he approached both Avengers, his gun still out but pointed at the ground.
âThe suspect is gone, they disappeared before we could even get to them,â Natasha replied, crossing her arms over her chest.
âGone? What do you mean gone?â Miller asked, confused. He holsters his gun as he looks behind them, noticing the hat and the disturbed ground.Â
âIâm pretty sure they teleported away,â Natasha added, âweâre dealing with a super-powered individual.âÂ
âSuper-powered individual. Great,â Miller commented under his breath, and Wanda did not know what to make of it.Â
âThereâs something else,â Natasha continued, before subtly nudging Wanda. She gives Natasha a look, a mixture of alarm and confusion noticeable in her face. She figured this was a training mission of sorts, that she was sent to watch how these investigations and relations worked. She was not expecting to have to do any of the talking. Natasha, in return, gives her a side glance, subtly nodding in an encouraging manner. Wanda faces Miller, his face expectant.Â
âThe suspect was engaged in battle with something. Weâre not sure what it is, we couldnât really see it,â Wanda inwardly cringed, but did not let it show on her face, âonce the creature seemed to be defeated, the suspect disappeared, but the creature is still there.â
âWhere?â Miller asked, eyebrows raised in confusion.Â
Wanda points to the area the creature was before commenting, âitâs⌠invisible.â
âInvisible creatures, too,â Miller says, his voice holding a hint of disbelief, âRight, Iâm getting forensics over here.â Miller stepped away for a few minutes, his communicator in hand as he reported to the rest of his team.Â
Wanda stole a glance at Natasha, trying to get a read on her mentor. Her expression was neutral, unbreakable and unreadable. âNot terrible, but weâll work on it,â Natasha commented, as she felt Wandaâs gaze on her. Natasha glanced at Wanda and gave her a small smile.Â
Miller returns shortly, letting out a heavy sigh, âOkay, forensics will be here in a few minutes. In the meantime, Iâm going to need to take some statements from the both of you.â
True to his word, the forensics team arrived within the following five minutes. They wrapped the same yellow tape from before around the affected area, encompassing all the disturbances in the dirt, the suspectâs hat and some droplets of blood neither Avenger had noticed. As they set up the second crime scene, Miller took down both Wandaâs and Natashaâs statements separately.
Wanda pointed out where the invisible creature lay, but it was no longer there by the time the agents began to investigate, much to the confusion and astonishment of both Avengers. Very little evidence of its existence was left behind, save for the residue left over on Wanda and Natashaâs fingers and some odd, paw-shaped indents left on the ground. Curiously, the indents were not visible anywhere else other than the area the fight took place.Â
One of the forensics agents had approached both Avengers and carefully scraped the goopy residue left over from the creature. While that occurred, Miller had called his superiors, due to the odd turn the case was taking. They informed him that due to the nature of the case, that being that there was now a superpowered individual involved, the case would be passed on to the Avengers.Â
Miller approached them once more, his hand resting on his hips as he stood in front of them. âOur case files and evidence are being transferred to your facilities as we speak. Everything we collected today will be in your custody once itâs processed,â he said, and Wanda noticed a hint of annoyance in his voice.Â
âVery well, weâll get going, then. Weâll keep in touch. Pleasure meeting with you, Special Agent Miller,â Natasha said formally, extending a hand to the man before her. He extended his own and they met with a curt handshake.
âTony is already working on searching for our portal jumper, and Hill is waiting for us at the Compound for a debrief. Miller and his team are gonna wrap up the investigation here,â Natasha explained to Wanda as they walked away from the second investigation scene.Â
âDo you think theyâre still close by?â Wanda asked, looking at her mentor.
âThey canât have gone too far. If anything, theyâre still somewhere in New York,â Natasha said as they both continued their trek to the car.
~~~
Wanda sat at the large, polished conference table, the one that sat parallel to the Compoundâs living room and across from the shared kitchen. A large glass panel divided both spaces, separating the workspace from the living space. The Avengers logo was projected onto the glass panel, working as a screen of sorts. Maria sat across from her, eyes scanning over her datapad as she read a mission report. Wanda was working on her own report, pen writing over paper diligently, noting everything of importance.
âCODIS turned up nothing, but Miller sent me the suspectâs DNA profile,â Natasha announced as she approached the conference area, her own datapad in hand. She takes a seat beside Wanda before she continues, âSays theyâre analyzing the other evidence from the crime scene to see if thereâs a match.â
âGood, forward it to Stark, it might help him with finding our suspect,â Mariaâs eyes break away from her datapad to look up at the Black Widow.Â
âWorking on it,â Natasha said nonchalantly as she tapped away on the screen before her, âAnd done.â
âGood. Now, I want the both of you to go over everything that happened one more time,â Maria said, her datapad set before her, ready to take notes.Â
Natasha began her part of the debrief, describing everything that happened from the moment they stepped out of her car. She mentioned the case details Miller had shared when they arrived. Wanda listened closely now, having missed his monologue.Â
Wanda continues where Natasha left off, explaining the distortion that only she could see, and not consistently. She recounted the fight that she sort-of witnessed, and about guiding Natashaâs shots. Additionally, she described the odd, canine-like black mass that merely flashed in her vision for less than a second. Despite this though, she did not mention the cold shivers that had run through her body whenever she made some type of contact with the superpowered suspect.
Maria had taken notes as both Avengers spoke. Her brows were slightly furrowed, and she bit the inside of her lip subtly, her eyes holding a far away look. âSomething about this is familiar,â she says quietly, before she begins searching for something in her datapad.
A few minutes later, the projected Avengers logo was no longer on the glass panel, now replaced with a paused frame of a surveillance video. The image of an office space was projected, a man wearing a park rangerâs uniform stood at the center of the room, right beside a neatly organized desk. A house plant decorated the space, lying adjacent to the desk.
The camera angle showed the right side wall, three filing cabinets lined up against it. The furthest wall from the camera held a hung-up scheduling board, names Wanda did not recognize were scribbled on it. Beside it was the opened office door. The man in the center of the room stared down at a document in his hand, a filled coffee mug in the other. At the bottom of the video was a timestamp, reading 01-17-2014 14:23:07. Maria pressed play.Â
The man paced back and forth in the center of the room for about a minute, before leaning against the desk, still staring down at the documents. He took a sip from his mug, before he was suddenly thrown backwards by an invisible force. The manâs mug shattered as it hit the floor, its contents spilling all over the desk and ground. The man fell behind the desk, the camera angle cutting off the view from his top half. He struggled for a bit, kicking his legs upwards in attempts to push off whatever was on top of him. Then, the manâs legs fell to the ground as if by force. His body went completely rigid and a minute later, the manâs body lost all tension and eased onto the floor.
Wanda looked away, her gaze falling to her hands as she took a deep, stabilizing breath. Despite everything she has seen, it is never easy to watch a person die.Â
âHis death was blamed on coyotes, much like how theyâre blaming bears now,â Maria begins to explain, her eyes lingering on the glass screen for a few extra seconds. âIt happened in Pennsylvania last year. The case reports have very little information. The investigation was still ongoing by the time S.H.I.E.L.D. fell.â
âThat seems to check out with what we saw at the forest today,â Natasha says, leaning back in her chair.Â
âHe couldnât move,â Wanda noted as the footage played once more, âlike if something had him completely pinned down.â
âThe suspect had been pinned down by the creature,â Maria harkened back to the Avengersâ debrief.Â
âBut they could still move, they kept trying to get away. This guy, he couldnât move even if he wanted to,â Natasha noticed what Wanda was talking about as the video kept playing.
âWe have to find the suspect soon. Theyâll have answers we donât,â Maria commented as the surveillance video faded from the screen panel, being replaced by the Avengers logo once more.
Maria went over the old S.H.I.E.L.D. file with both agents, reviewing the scarce information on it and sending them the files. With that done, the three agents began speculating who the suspect could be.Â
âCould it be something to do with the Chitauri?â Wanda asked, remembering the Battle of New York a few years ago.
âThe Chitauri were merely soldiers, not to mention they all went down after Tony redirected the missile,â Natasha explained, âI donât think the Chitauri have anything to do with this.â
âMaybe the suspect is Asgardian,â Maria offered as she leaned back in her chair. Natasha reached for the water pitchers in the center of the table and served water to all three agents.Â
âCan Asgardians open portals?â Wanda asks curiously, admittedly not knowing much of Thor or Norse Mythology.Â
âHeimdall comes closest, but the suspect's powers presented very differently,â Natasha answered, âThor would know, but heâs been off-world for a while.â The Norse god had not returned to Earth since shortly after what happened in Sokovia, focused on his quest of finding out more about the infinity stones.Â
âMaybe HYDRA created another super powered individual, one we didnât know about,â Maria theorized, raising her eyebrows and the corners of her mouth tipped slightly downward.Â
âPietro and I were the only ones that survived the experiments in Sokovia,â Wanda replied, the memory of her brother and her home stinging painfully in her chest.
âWhoâs to say the base in Sokovia was the only one running human experiments? The scepter was unaccounted for four years. There might be a paper trail we havenât found yet,â Natasha reasoned, taking a sip of her drink.
âIf thatâs true, that might explain why you could see the outline of whatever they were fighting. Their powers might be linked to the scepter, too,â Maria added, thinking the suggestion could be completely plausible.
The three of them continued to discuss the suspect when they noticed Tony approaching them. âGood morning, Angels,â he says, despite it nearly being nighttime. The movie reference earned him a âbooâ from Maria. âF.R.I.D.A.Y. picked up something very interesting near fourteenth street.â
With a swipe from his datapad, the Avengers logo was replaced once more. This time, the panel showed them surveillance footage of a New York City street, overlooking a dirty alleyway. A green dumpster sat towards the edge of the alleyway, boxes and trash littering the ground.
A sudden flash of white emanates from the right-side of the alleyway, a figure shooting out from it and making a hard impact against the dumpster. The figure merely laid there, unmoving for several minutes, staring at something in the shadows of the alleyway. Eventually, the figure stands shakily and walks out. Their hand reached upwards before letting it fall to their side. They stared down at the ground as they walked, as if avoiding being seen.Â
The scene and angle changes as the figure walks away, now following the figure from another camera. This continues for a few minutes, the person simply walking through the city before the video cuts to black.
âF.R.I.D.A.Y. lost track of your portal jumper shortly after, but there are a few apartment complexes in the area. We have a rough radius of where they might be hiding,â Tony explained, as his eyes went from the panel to the three agents.
âThatâs them,â Wanda says with certainty as she leans forwards from her chair, recognizing the familiar white flash and the figure from the forest, âthatâs our suspect.â
âTook you a few hours, Stark. Youâre losing your touch,â Natasha teased, giving him a playful smirk.
âYou sure about that, Romanoff?â Tony questioned, giving her a smirk back and once again swipes upwards from his datapad. The panel switched from the black screen to projecting a womanâs social media profile picture, information like her name, age, birthday and place of birth, among other data, scrolled on the right side of the screen. âI had F.R.I.D.A.Y. run the footage and the DNA profile through a few programs and found Skippy here,â he raises his arms outwardly in a grandiose gesture.
Natasha raised her eyebrows at him, mildly impressed. âSo, the tin man has WD-40,â Maria quipped with a smirk of her own.Â
âOh, I didnât know we were holding a comedy fest at the Compound today,â Tony jested, his head cocking slightly to the side.
âAlright, I have to go before this goes on. Keep me updated on any new developments,â Maria says as she stands from her chair.
âIâll get started on shaving down that radius and setting up a stake-out,â Natasha announced as she also stood from her chair, reaching for her datapad as she did. âIâll have F.R.I.D.A.Y. continue monitoring surveillance footage for if she resurfaces,â Tony said as he began to walk away, staring down at his datapad.
Wanda continued to stare at the girlâs profile on the screen panel before it faded away, replaced once more by the Avengerâs logo. Could there really be someone else out there who went through similar experiments as her and her brother? She sighed heavily as she stood and made her way to her room.
when me and Chris watch movies getting ready with nick and making car videos with them, but this isn't where I wanted to be in life I feel like I'm living matts life and as much as I try to act like it doesn't bother me the fans can be a lot sometimes committing post talking about the way I look
I just realized the irony of people who try to say that trans men are misogynistic and hate all girls and women, meanwhile some of us are raising daughters with feminist values.
Like, I don't really believe in raising kids of different genders differently, but I make sure that my daughter knows that she can do anything she puts her mind to in life, even though she's currently a toddler. I let her follow her own interests and I don't tell her that she's wrong for them. She currently likes baby dolls and dinosaurs, so I get her toys that reflect that. I don't make her use only pink toys and I encourage her to play outside and climb trees.
I play shows and movies for her that have strong, active female characters. She loves the Xavier Riddle movie "I Am Madame President", I play it for her and her brother constantly and remind them that they can both do whatever they put their minds to if they're patient and persistent. She loves watching Bluey, which shows Chili, Bluey and Bingo as smart, determined and kind to others. (I could go on but y'all don't want to hear me disect the feminine representation in PBS and Nick Jr shows)
My daughter spends a lot of time with my mom, who's a successful attorney and registered nurse with her own disability law practice in NYC. She spends time with my grandma, who worked in a prison for decades and lived through a 3 day prison riot. She sees successful, powerful, intelligent women on a regular basis and I'm raising her to know that she can be a lawyer or nurse or doctor or a rockstar or astronaut or teacher or literally anything else she wants to.
My daughter is being raised with the idea constantly overhead that girls can do anything boys can do, and boys can do anything girls can do. As long as you're safe, kind, and doing what you believe is right, there's no limits.
And tbh I think trans men are actually better as parents to girls because we know what it's like to grow up with the expectations and ideas society puts on girls and women, and we know that a lot of it is harmful bullshit. I'm not going to let my daughter (or my son) go through any of the misogynistic, sexist bullshit I went through as a kid.
"Girls can't do -" STFU. "But girls can't wear-" STFU. "But it's not ladylike to -" my daughter will become a lady in her own time, if she wants, when she's ready. But right now she's a child and I just want her to be happy and learn everything she can. She's gonna play with her dinosaurs, climb trees, and watch PBS with her brother.
But yeah I'm a misogynist (sarcasm), that's why I'm raising my daughter to be an intersectional feminist lol
#transgender#trans#transandrophobia#queer#transmasc#trans men#trans man#intersex#ftm#transmisandry#parenting#misogyny#queer parenting#intersectional feminism#also I'm such a transmisogynist that's why my daughter is named after my trans ex gf who died while we were dating
{{â¤âĄâ¤âĄâ¤âĄâ¤âĄâ¤âĄâ¤âĄâ¤âĄâ¤âĄâ¤âĄâ¤âĄ}}
It's been about 3-4 days since I went to Visions and walked right into someone making a damn fool out of myself, but then again, what's new?
Not gonna lie it wasn't one of my best moments how awkward I felt I mean like, why in hells name did I say 'Have a good day' so god dammed awkwardly, why the fuck did I even say it at all!?
Could have said something like, "Well, sorry about that, but I gotta go, see ya. But not you had to go and say".
'Have a good day?', if I could punch myself so hard right now to make myself forget I ever said that I would, in a heartbeat.
But too bad you can't now can you :/
I'll be starting at Visions next week though, so I guess I have more chances to male myself out to be a fool, they did tell me during my little interview thing or whatever you wanna call it.
They didn't have any dormrooms ready for me at the moment.
so I won't be moving to the dorms anytime soon, which is fair.
I did so happen to start up at that school. What? A little past first term or semester, I think they call it here in America?
I don't know. I'm still trying to wrap my head around the education system here, and I still don't understand a damn thing.
But anyway, I won't be put in a dorm room yet until they find an either an empty one or someone without a roommate, which I don't think will happen anytime soon.
But the good news is I don't live very far from school. The bad news is I'd have to wake up earlier to get ready and be out the door before school starts, which sucks ass.
But beggers can't be choosers, so I'll take it, means I won't have to share a room with someone I don't know that's a plus, I guess.
Still don't know how I'll handle seeing that guy. It'll be awkward. That's for
ă â ă
"Y/N!" My Auntie lily yelled from the kitchen, and I snapped out of my thoughts and looked away from the little notebook I was writing in seated at my desk.
"Yeah?" I called back out to her as I leaned back in my desk chair, tilting my head towards the door and waiting for a response.
But when I didn't get one, I groaned, frustrated, and rolled my eyes.
I hated when people did that. Even when parents did that, call out your name to get your attention, but don't say a damn thing, so you gotta get up to see what they want.
Only to be asked to do the most simplistic things ever, like pass them the TV remote.
But it's right in front of them on the coffee table, or they don't even remember anymore and tell you never mind.
I got up grumbling to myself under my breath as I walked out of my bedroom.
in the simplest outfit of an oversized black hoodie with a small red and white mushroom on the front over my left breast and two bigger ones on the back, with the words 'Let's take a trip' and just some simple army green shorts that used to be pants before I cut them up into shorts.
My hair was pulled back messily into an attempt at a bun before I gave up and left it as is.
I walked down the hallway towards the kitchen, my bare feet barely making any sound on the carpet until I got to the kitchen.
And I leaned against the doorframe. "Yeah?" I said to my auntie, lazily raising an eyebrow at her with my hands stuffed into my hoodie pocket.
"Ah there you are, Me haere koe ki te toa maku ki te tiki i etahi mea maku, he rarangi takuKa taea e koe te haere ki te toa maku, ki te tiki etahi mea, he rarangi taku me etahi moni hei tiki." my Auntie said to me as she said to me as she picked up a list she had written out for me and held it out for me to take, along with a few bills to pay for everything on the list.
I groaned tipping my head back "ko te iwa i te po ka hiahia koe kia haere ahau ki te toa ko ahau anake" I said back to her as I dropped my head forward and took the list and money reluctantly.
"Yes, you'll be fine. Just take a knife and put it in your pocket." My Auntie huffed at me, waving my words off as she turned around to finish putting the dishes away.
I grumbled but didn't complain openly at least as I plucked a semi-sharp knife from the knife block and shoved it into my pocket as I turned and walked back to my room to get my jandels (Flip flops for the Americans :) )
I slipped them on, pulled my hood up over my messy hair shoved the list and money into my pocket along with putting my phone in my back pocket and taking just one earbud out of my JBL case and putting it in my ear.
Before I left the apartment, after going down some stairs out of the apartment building.
I tapped the side of my earbud about two times to skip through the songs I didn't want to listen too until I settled on 'Never enough by Six60' a classic song from a band back home.
"Still can't shake the feelin' in my bones, it won't leave me, it won't let me go," I sung under my breath to myself as I kept walking down the dark empty streets to the store about three blocks away.
It was dark besides a few lightposts lining the streets, some flickering others doing just fine. Brooklyn in the daytime was so different compared to the nighttime.
At night, it was dangerous. You had to keep your guard up, and I wasn't stupid. I knew crime ran wild at night in brooklyn.
I'd seen enough of it on TV, hearing people tall about it, and so on. It's the reason this city had a curfew, and why it kept getting early depending on just how bad it kept getting, and so far, it was getting worse before it's ever going to get better.
The once lively streets looked so much darker, like something out of a horror movie, not a sound besides the faint buzzing of streetlights.
feral cats digging through trash, the odd whisper of something in the alleyways and the sound of TV's playing from inside buildings.
But I wasn't completely dumb, I knew as quiet as it was, as empty as everything seemed around me.
I wasn't actually alone out here tonight, there was others out here, none with good intentions and anyone who did.
well, let's just say they wouldn't be there for long.
which is the reason my aunt made me take a knife with me for self-defense.
And what I knew I had to do was keep an eye out so I was, I kept an eye on my surroundings.
but made sure to make myself look relaxed and not all tense knowing that I'll just draw attention to myself if I did.
I glanced up and around me, though the streets were dangerous at night. I couldn't help but find them strangely beautiful too.
The way the stars just barely, peeked through the clouds in the sky under the pollution in the air, the way the street lights cast light on curtain parts of the streets and slowly left the others bathed in darkness.
The way the colours played off of everything around me was just in a strangely weird and beautiful. It's in its own dark twisted kinda way, of course, but still had a certain charm to it.
"There was a time when you would've given me everything that you own, The only thing you left me was alone.." I sung to myself under my breath as I kept my hands in my pocket.
my right hand gripping the handle of the knife loosely judt in case.
I sighed softly, sqinting my eyes as i looked in front of me.
I was tired from not sleeping properly the past few nights.
for some reason staying up until five in the morning then going to sleep, which yes I know is fucking stupid.
But I just couldn't get to sleep, for some stupid reason or another.
But still, I kept walking. I had just 2 more blocks to go before I hit the store to grab a few things, and then I could go home, collapse in bed, and die until tomorrow afternoon hopefully.
~I guess our time is up, I've given you too much, I just need to keep on movin', cause I still crave your touch, why won't you fade to dust?~
~so I can line you up, enough is never enough (ooh-ooh), enough is never enough(ooh-ooh), with every single does (oh-oh-oh), losin' all control (oh-oh-oh), never is never enough(ooh-ooh)~
( Miles's POV)
Meanwhile, with Miles....
~as I walk though the valley of the shadow of death, I take a look at myself and realize there's nothin' left, 'cause I've been blastin' and laughin' so long that, even my mama thinks that my mind is gone~
Miles hummed along to the music playing in his ears from his earbuds plugged into his phone shoved I his front pocket, as he he slipped on his jacket, a a dark purple nearing black in the low light of his Uncle's apartment.
Just another night as the prowler, and another night of getting his Mami the supplies she needed for the hospital she worked at.
so underfunded sometimes patients who needed their medicine who didn't get it in time, didn't make it.
~but I ain't never crossed a man who didn't deserve it, me be treated like a punk, you know that's unheard of, you better watch how ya talkin' and where ya walkin'~
Music was one of the ways Miles pumped himself up as he got ready to go out there with hi mask on, on the streets that he remembered used to be so beautiful before the corruption sunk its claws into his city and with it his Dad.
~or you and your homies might be lined in chalk, I really hate to trip but I gotta loc, as they croak, I see myself in pistol smoke, fool, I'm the kind of G that little homies wanna be like, on my knees in the night, sayin' prayers in the steertlights~
Miles clenched his jaw and shook his head, rolling his shoulders.
'Naw ain't got time to think like that, get your in the game Miles' he thought to himself as he finished suiting up, he took one look at himself in the reflection of the windows in his Uncle's living room and stood a little straighter.
~we've been spendin' most their lives livin' in a gangsta's paradise, we've been spendin' most their lives livin' in a gangsta's paradise, we've keep spendin' most our lives livin' in a gangsta's paradise, we've been spendin' most our lives livin' in a gangsta's paradise~
'I'm gonna make you proud Dad, swear it' Miles thought as he took his earbuds out and unplugged them from his phone the music of 'Gangsta's paradise by Coolio, L.V' spilling from his phone as his mask smoothly slid over his face.Lookingng back at Miles was the prowler in his reflection.
"Ay Neph time to ,go," Uncle Aaron called out from the door, and Miles nodded.
"On my way, Unc," Miles said to Aaron, his voice distorted by the voice changer in his mask as he made his way to the door.
Long since having paused his music as he put his gloves on with a Sharp click.
~look at the situation they got me facin', I can't live a normal life, i was raised by the stripes, so I gotta be down with the hood team, too much television watchin' got me chasin' dreams, I'm an educated fool with money on my mind, got a ten in my hand and a gleam in my eye~
Miles followed Aaron to the rooftop of the apartment, building his clawed hands clenching and unclenching as he walked.
"You remember the plan?" Aaron said, walking in front of miles looking through his phone at the time, before he tucked his phone back in his pocket
"Mm, I remember get the shit be in be out," Miles muttered to his uncle as they made it to the rooftop, and he looked over the buildings around them.
Some had fires going on top of them, others didn't, but you could see the gleam of neon lights of tall skyscraper buildings in the distance and people moving around under the glow of lights shining though there apartment windows.
~I'm a loc'd out gangsta, set trippin' banger, and my homies is down, so don't arouse my anger, fool, death ain't nothin' but a heartbeat away~
"Got yo earpiece?" Aaron asked Miles before he got ready to leave, handing Miles a black backpack.
"Yeah, it's in," Miles replied as he shrugged on the bag, Aaron handed him.
"Eyes sharp," Aaron said to Miles, nodding at him, standing back and tapping his earpiece in his own ear to turn it on.
"Mind steady," Miles said back with a nod before he was off using his grappling hook in hand to swing odd through the city under cover of the night towards the docs where a new shipment of medical supplies were waiting.
~I'm livin' my life do-or-die, uh, what can I say, I'm 23 now, but will I live to see 24?, with way things is goin', I don't know, tell me why are we so blind to see, the ones we hurt are you and me~
Miles weaved in and out of alleyways High above on the air, flipping through the air and rolling along the side of buildings to build momentum as he headed for the docs using his titanium claws to grip onto the ledges of buildings to throw himself forward.
~we've been spendin' most their lives livin' in a gangsta's paradise~
(Y/N's POV)
Seeing the store up ahead, I signed in relief.
"Thank fuck man" I grumbled under my breath as I pushed the door open and walked inside taking the list out of my pocket pocket I picked up a basket nearby from the door.
And started on my walk around the store for the items on the list my Auntie gave me.
"Dried chilli's, tortilla's, milk, bread and a juice" I mumbled under my breath reading over the list with a nod to myself as I repeated over and over in my head what was needed as I shoved the list in my pocket.
I walked around the store, throwing what was needed into the basket, and then, lastly, the juice.
I grunted softly, feeling how heavy the basket was now. The juice was in it.
"Damn," I muttered under my breath, gripping the handles of the basket just a little tighter as I walked towards checkout.
I paused, looking down at a shelf with some lollies on it- sorry, correction candies, my bad, I forgot I was in America.
I snorted softly to myself, amused as I picked up an interesting looking candies I'd never seen before or tired.
"Milk duds? Looks interesting, " I muttered to myself, and with a shurg, I dropped the box in the basket, a little treat for myself when I was walking home.
Making it to checkout, I set my basket on the counter.
"Hi, just these, please," I said politely to the casher, who looked like she'd rather be anywhere but here right now.
I shoved my hands in my hoodie pocket, standing there a little awkwardly as she checked them out for me.
'Mood, I feel you, my G', I thought to myself, glancing up at the girl at the counter, checking out my items for me.
She was actually really pretty, dark skinned with cornrows, and really pretty blue eyes that contrasted beautifully with her skin.
"That'll be $36.50, cash or card?" The girl spoke up a little drly, sounding tired, which is fair, so I didn't hold it against her.
"Cash, thank you," I said to her with a small smile as I counted out two $20's from the cash my Auntie gave to me and handed it to her.
"You wanna a bag?" She asked me as she counted out my change, which came to $3.50 as she handed it to me, and I took it, putting the change in my pocket.
"Yes, please," I said to her as she bagged up my items and handed me the bag.
"Thank you, have a good night," I said to her before I left, more in habit really from growing up in New Zealand, anytime.
"Mm," the girl muttered as she went back to playing on her phone, what she had been doing before I got to check out.
And I once more started on my walk home, glancing up at the sky every once in awhile hoping to see stars but only really managing to see planes or helicopters flying around
I frowned in disappointment before shrugging it off with a sigh.
With the bag of stuff in my left hand, I reached into my pocket with my right hand for my phone and used my fingerprint ID to open it.
I scrolled through my playlists, looking for a song to listen to as I walked, something I was in the mood for.
I scrolled for a bit as I walked every once in awhile looking up to make sure I didn't walk into anything, as I kept scrolling not finding a song I was interested in as I switched between another playlist had.
And when I thought I found a song, I heard the rustling of clothes, pained grunts, and low voices speaking coming up ahead from an alleyway.
I kept walking curiosity peeked, even in my tired state. i couldn't help but be nosey.
I shoved my phone back in my pocket, coming to a stop next to the alleyway, and I turned my head to look down it.
And there was a man being pinned to a wall, an arm against his throat making it hard to breathe for the overweight white man, a hand pinned to the wall by metal claws gleaming in the faint moonlight.
And the one holding the overweight man, he was interesting, to say the least.
Purple and black dominating his outfit, from the shoes to the accessories on his clothes, a mask over his face, like pixels on an old ass box TV, the kind before flat screen TVs, but not really as pixilated as yours think.
And two braids running down the back of his head that looked familiar stopping just past his shoulders.
They both seemed to pause after hearing my foot steps and turned to look at me.
But me being tired, overly exhausted, blinked at them lazily and confused, my brows frowned.
"Fuck I need to sleep more I'm starting to hallucinate again" I grumbled to myself my voice echoing a little down the alleyway as I started walking away rubbing at my eyes unimpressed at myself.
Just chalking what I saw up to my imagination fucking with me for not sleeping properly, honestly wouldn't be the first time, always had a shitty sleeping schedule.
Very few times I'd get the maximum eight hours of sleep, I'd either go to bed between 11pm to about 5am, cause I'm that stupid to stay up that late, only to be pissed off and tired the next day.
I shrugged and let my hand drop from my eyes.
I walked slightly hunched and legs feeling heavy, it felt like my legs were gonna give out on me, but well mama didn't raise no bitch, so we keep on going.
I didn't realise when I started daydreaming, or maybe i was dissociating again?, who knows.
But by the time I snapped out of it, I was home, standing in front of my apartment door, before I ever realized where I was.
"Mm," I mumbled to myself, paying it no mind as I opened the door and stepped inside, kicking off my jandels by the side of the door.
"I'm back," I called out as I walked into the kitchen and dropped the bag on the kitchen counter, digging through it for my milk duds I got.
Once I had the box in hand, I shoved it into my pocket and wondered off to my room.
"Any trouble well you were out, bub!" Lily called out from the living room.
"Nah, it was algoods, Auntie!" I called back out to her as I crawled into bed, flinching just a little when I felt something sharp poke my stomach.
Reaching into my hoodie pocket, I dumped out everything that was in it, from my phone, the change and extra cash I was given, my milk duds, and finally, the knife I forgot I had.
"Forgot about that," I mused to myself as I dumped the change and knife on my bedside table, picked up the box of chocolate covered lollies, and opened the box.I dumpedng a few in my hand before popping them on my mouth and chewing.
I scrunched my nose up at the taste. It wasn't the best candy I'd ever had or lollie for that matter, tasted too well fake to me, far too artificial then anything I'd ever tasted before.
So I dropped the box of sweets on my nightstand and picked up my water bottle. I always left on my bedside table and took a swing to wash out my mouth with a small grimace.
"Well that was disappointing" I muttered to myself setting my water bottle back down, as I picked up my phone and slid down more in my bed to get comfortable as I pulled the blankets up to my neck.
Turning it on, I went onto Tiktok and used the automatic scrolling feature, as well as plugged my phone in as I propped my phone up against the wall.
Watching the random videos that played as my eyes grew heavy.
Before sleep finally claimed me, and I was out like a light.
(MILES POV)
Miles had just gotten home after taking a bit of a detour after dropping off the supplies at his Mami's hospital.
He grunted as he kicked off his shoes, and dropped his jacket on the floor, taking off the black collar around his neck that held his mask and dropped it into a box he kept all his dad's all accessories and his own.
He stripped off the layers of his Prowler suit and replaced it with his own tank top and some sweats before putting on his purple durag that had little gold crowns on it over his braids.
He then picked up the pieces of his suit and dropped them into a box he took aw, y hidden in his closet.
He then dropped onto his bed with a si. Onene had taken behind his head as he picked up his phone to check for any messages from his mami.
He tapped on his Mami's contact after seeing an unread message from her.
'Gonna be working late again tonight, leftovers are in the microwave, Te amo duerme dormido â¤ď¸'
Miles signed softly, another night shift. Made him glad he cleaned the house before heading over to his uncle's.
He pulled his hand out from behind his hand and started to type a message.
'Te amo Mami, no trabajes tan duro â¤ď¸'
He hit send, plugged his phone in, and shifted to pull his blankets over himself as he rolled over to go to sleep.
'That girl again, huh shame I still ain't know her name,' Miles thought to himself amused.
Remembering how those sleepy tired eyes had looked at him tonight, or should he say the prowler.
How she had looked at the prowler had convinced herself what she'd seen was nothing but hallucinations cause she was so tired.
He was sure he'd see her again, and he knew just like the first time, and the second it'll just be as interesting as the first.
Then maybe, just maybe next time he'd know where she was from, know what that accent she had was.
Until then, he'd sleep. He had school tomorrow after all.
So he shut his eyes, got comfortable, and let himself relax enough to maybe, this time, sleep a full night.
And if not, well, he'd deal with it in the morning.
Her PR Guy- Ch.2
Y/Nâs POV
It had been about a month since I started working for Gotham, and I was already loving every second of it. The players were among the nicest people I had worked with, but there was just one problemâ I was self-sabotaging and avoiding a certain blonde midfielder who was exactly my type.
I was hardly able to function in Kristieâs presence without turning into a gay mess, so I had been avoiding her and not acknowledging my feelings. I knew what I was doing wasnât healthy, so I decided to speak with my therapist, Celesta, about it.
***
As I sat in the waiting room of Celestaâs office, I noticed that the ESPN body issue had come out and was sitting on one of the side tables by the couches. Before I could gather the courage to see if a certain blonde midfielder was featured in the issue, Celesta came out to greet me and then escorted me to her office.
âSo, Y/N, how have you been coping with your move to New York?â
âIâve been doing pretty well, but I wanted to talk to you about something regarding workâŚâ
âGo right ahead!â
âIâm attracted to one of the players I work with, and although Iâm pretty sure the feeling is mutual, I have found myself avoiding herâ
âWhy do you think that is (Y/N)?â
âI think itâs because sheâs out of my league and I donât want to embarrass myself while talking to her. Also I donât know why she would want to date someone like me when she can have her pick out of pretty much every queer person whoâs single in the NWSL?â
âIt sounds like youâre experiencing some imposter syndrome, but Iâd challenge you to be nicer to yourself, and to stop with the negative self-talk. If you tell yourself something enough times, youâll end up believing it.â
âYeah, but how do I fix it and stop self-sabotaging?â
âIâd suggest coming up with an affirmation to say to yourself when youâre struggling; I think it would really helpâ
âIâll be sure to try that from now on. Thanks Celesta!.â
***
The next morning, I decided to grab brunch at a local LGBTQ+ hangout with my best friend Danny. I didnât know what to wear, so Danny came over early to help me pick out an outfit that would be fitting for my debut into the queer community of NYC.
I was dressed in a classic blue flannel, dark wash jeans, and a pair of chukka boots, and I could tell that there were plenty of eyes on me. Once we were seated by the host, our waitress came over and introduced herself.
âHi, my name is Sammi, and Iâll be your waitress this morning! What can I get started for you boys?â
âIâll take a mimosa,â said Danny.
âAnd Iâll have a strawberry banana smoothie, please,â I said.
âFor sure, handsome,â Sammi replied, Iâll have your drinks out for you shortly,â said Sammi.
***
âShe was super friendly and totally your type! You should definitely ask her for her number (Y/N/N)!â
âOh shitâŚshe was flirting with me, wasnât she?âÂ
âI mean, yeah, it was pretty obviousâŚâ
âGoddamn! I canât believe I didnât pick up on that,â I groaned in frustration.Â
Sammi came back with our drinks, and asked, âAre you guys ready to order?â
âYes,â said Danny, âIâll have the buckwheat pancakes with a side of baconâ
âAnd what about you, cutie?âÂ
âIâll umm⌠take the the Eggs Benedict with extra hollandaise sauce.â
âComing right up,â Sammi replied.Â
After Sammi left to put in our orders, I avoided eye contact with Danny in an effort to maintain some type of self-preservation.
âSheâs definitely into you!â Exclaimed Danny.Â
âMaybe so, but I donât think Iâm ready for a relationship yet,â I replied.Â
âWhen are you going to stop letting Karen control your life?âÂ
This wasnât the first time someone in my circle had something to this effect. My buddy Alex had said the same thing when I was ranting about my huge crush on Kristie.Â
âFuck it, youâre right Danny!â I said, âIâll ask for her number when she brings us the check.â
âSlay! Look at you (Y/N/N)! Iâm so proud of you.â
***
Sammi came back with our food shortly after I made the decision to âshoot my shotâ.Â
âHere are those buckwheat pancakes with a side of bacon,â she said as she placed Dannyâs plate in front of him.Â
âAnd here is your Eggs Benedict with the extra hollandaise sauce,â Sammi said with a wink.Â
As soon as Sammi left the vicinity, I started to freak out.Â
âYeah, never mind. Thereâs no way I can handle asking for her number, I definitely donât have the balls for that!â
âWell, why donât you just write your number on the extra receipt and leave it there for her to see?â
âThatâs actually not a bad idea; I think I will!â
âOkay then, letâs dig in!â
***
When Sammi came to collect our plates, I was beyond stuffed.Â
âI think Iâm going to nap away my food coma when I get homeâ
âMe too, (Y/N/N)!âÂ
After she finished bussing our table, Sammi brought our checks out to us, and sure as heck, mine had her number on it, along with a note:
Youâre super cute and Iâd love to go out with you! The ballâs in your court, handsome đ
Kristie POV
I was sitting with Ash, Ali, Midge, and Lynn at Brunch when (Y/N) came up with the topic of conversation.
âHonestly, Iâm not sure how that man is still singleâŚif I wasnât already in a committed relationship and in love with Marley, youâd best believe Iâd be making a move on him,â said Lynn, âYou mentioned that you thought he was cute, Kristieâ whatâs the hold-up?â
âIâm not sure, honestly. Iâve been flirting with him, but I think heâs starting to avoid me,â replied Kristie.
âWell, if I were you Iâd take it up a notch. Be super direct and then leave the ball in his court,â suggested Ali.Â
A little Thing about Hope Part Two :) !
A/N: I hope you all Enjoy this Part !!!! I think the next one is going to be in Scott and NYC's POV !!!
Y/Nâs POVÂ
You all got inside and set up. This case was just different, I mean it was so huge and so big and so many moving parts.
You all had to be extra careful because you wasnât sure who you could trust.Â
A diplomat has his hands in so many pockets there was a huge chance that he already knew the two of you guys were investigating.Â
You tried your hardest to push those thoughts down. What ever was going to happen you had no control over that.Â
Scott was setting up next to you. He looked over at you and you could see the concern written all over his face. You felt bad you knew he had a lot going on and being stressed about you was the last thing he needed.Â
So you gave him a tap on his shoulder. Which underneath he just seemed so tense.Â
âHey letâs step outside for a secondâ Scott said to you.Â
âOkayâ You whispered back.Â
Tank saw the two of you leaving and got up and ran after you guys. You just smiled at him and knew he was probably restless from all the flying.Â
You guys walked out the sunlight was strong. You walked around to the side of the building and Scott grabbed your hand and gave it a squeeze.Â
âHey what the hell is going onâ Scott saidÂ
âNothing iâm fine your the one who wanted to come outside and talk to meâ You said shrugging your shoulders.Â
âCome on donât do thisâ Scott said, seeming a little agitated.
âIâm not doing anythingâ You said snapping a little back.
Scott rubbed his face and he looked around and you werenât sure about this shift in attitudes.Â
âWhatâs going on you seemed fine now your acting weirdâ You saidÂ
âIâm not acting weirdâ Scott said you could hear he was his mad.Â
âFine iâm going back in, let me know when you're readyâ You said.Â
You started walking away. Scott sighed loudly, you heard then he walked over and grabbed your arm and pulled you back.Â
âHey hey waitâ He said.Â
âwhat â You said turning around him to face him.Â
âIâm sorry your right this case has been stressing me outâ Scott said.Â
âI know i get it whatâs going on with itâ You asked.Â
âSomething isnât just sitting right iâm trying to rack my brain around itâ Scott said.Â
âI canât help but keep thinking this man is a diplomat you know they got people in their pocket what if we came down here and itâs just a trapâ You said.Â
Scott gave you a look like he was thinking the same exact thing you were.Â
âYeah you and me bothâ Scott said.Â
âListen I trust Jubal and if he trust Nina so do I but this CIâs information how do we know we can trust it how do they know we can trust itâ Scott said.Â
âBecause exactly like you said we trust them if they say itâs good intel than it is i just think our problems are higher upâ You saidÂ
âYeah and our problem is we donât know who is involvedâ Scott saidÂ
âSo we proceed with caution we only share our intel with us thatâs it everyone else getâs basics but we need to share with the teamâ You said.Â
âSounds like a planâ Scott said.Â
âYeah we got thisâ You said.Â
You leaned in and kissed him real quick then you all headed back in.
Everyone was gathering around talking and they all turned to look at you both when you headed back in.Â
You both both walked over and then Scott spoke upÂ
âSmitty is there some place we all can talk just usâ Scott asked.Â
She looked confused but then spoke upÂ
âYeah theres a conference room down the hallâ She said getting up and showing the way.Â
Everyone got up and followed her down.
Everyone walked inside the room and looked at each other.Â
âWhatâs going onâ VO asked.Â
âI wanted some place to talk privately because we right now we know an american diplomat is involved with this case and we have concerns that he has people in his pocket and we could be walking into trapsâ Scott saidÂ
âYeah Yeah good point so what do you wanna doâ Jubal askedÂ
âAny intel we get stays between us we only give everyone else the basic information. Also we travel in pairs no one goes out by themselves i donât care even if its just up the blockâ Scott saidÂ
âI mean all this seems a bit much we dealt with politics beforeâ Raines saidÂ
âYeah I know but honestly this case is huge and a lot of moving parts so we play it safe until we know more I honestly also just have this feeling I canât shakeâ Scott said.
âListen iâm with Scott better be more safe than sorry until we know moreâ VO said.Â
âLetâs go then donât want to look suspiciousâ You saidÂ
âI agree letâs get goingâ Nina said.Â
You all walked outside the room and back to your work station. You and NIna started diving into everything you could on this CI.
Raines was on accounting and Jubal and Scott and Vo were working on the Diplomat.Â
Everyone was working hard and honestly you all were getting overwhelmed.
There really wasnât much to go which in your line of work was not a good thing.Â
It usually meant he was living off grid and hiding. Even people with no criminal history had something on them.
Wether it be where they worked went to school you always left a paper trail.Â
"Does anyone have anything" Jubal asked ?
Everyone stopped what they were doing and leaned back in their chairs and kind of looked around at each other.
"Nothing I mean this CI Craig is just off the radar which we all know" You said
"Yeah sadly" Jubal said
"Nothing on bank accounts either he get's monthly deposits each month one big lump sum around 100K" Raines said
"Anyways we can trace it" Nina asked
"I've been trying but they got it crypted i've been doing everything I can" Raines said
"I've been looking into the diplomat Mark and nothing I mean he's squeaky clean so far which well" Vo was going to finish but then kept it sealed
We all knew what she meant. He was paying someone to keep it hidden.
"What are the chances that Mark and Craig are directly connected what if Mark is a bigger player than we been thinking" You asked
"Fair question and it would explain the deposits" Scott said.
"We can dig into see if at any point they crossed paths" Nina said
"Yes lets do it" Scott said
You all were sitting back up when your stomach growled loudly
"i guess it's dinner time" Raines said laughing
"Yes please I'm gonna die" You said
"Oh man let's not eat then" Raines said
"psh what ever you would miss me to much" You snapped back
"What ever makes you feel better" Raines said
"is that you think cause we can take this outside" Getting up
Raines walked over to you and you two got real close on each other before you couldn't hold it anymore and the two of you busted out laughing.
"Okay guys nice fight now let's go I'm hungry and don't got all night for what ever this is" Vo said.
"Buddy system you gotta go" You said.
"Fine anything to get a break" Raines said laughing.
The two of them took everyones order and then walked out.
"How about a break" Scott said
"Yes please" Nina said.
You all shut down your stuff and gathered a little bit talking to one another.
"let's take tank out" Scott said.
You got up and the three of you walked back out and walked around the building a litle bit to stretch your legs.
"Hey you good" You asked
"I'm good just a little fustrated this whole thing is a mess" Scott said
"It is for now but you know we always find a way" You said grabbing his hand and giving it a squeeze.
He gave it a squeeze back and looked up at you and smiled.
The sun was setting and it looked beautiful
"Were going to have to come back and not for work" You said
"Next time we'll probably be a family by then" Scott said
"Oh for sure it will be our first family vacation" You said
"I love that" Scott said.
"Come on let's go back" Scott said
"Yeah" You said
You all walked back into the building and Scott let go of your hand being the true professional he was.
You joined everyone who was sitting around talking and laughing. It was a nice change of pace. Jubal was telling some crazy story that happened back in NYC.
A few minutes later Raines yelled out
âReal authentic dinner and a little extra because we got two of us are eating for twoâ Raines said making everyone laughÂ
âThank you it smells so goodâ Nina said.Â
âLetâs go in the conference roomâ Scott said.Â
You all nodded and got up and walked to the room. The food smelled good and you didnât even realize how hungry you were.Â
Everyone settled in and put the food out buffet style. And of course you had to make a plate for Tank. I mean he was hungry too.Â
You were eating pasta and and some good bread and you were in heaven. The pasta was truly authentic the sauce and the cheese was so good you were glad they got extra.Â
Everyone was talking just getting to know one another. It was nice not talk to shop talk. Scott was sitting next to you of course.Â
His hand was on your leg and it made you realize you two needed a date night bad. Suddenly your phone went off and you looked down to see who it was.Â
Your dad was attempting to facetime you.Â
âMm excuse meâ You said to everyoneÂ
âWhere you goingâ Scott asked worriedÂ
âDonât worry iâll stay insideâ You saidÂ
You walked outside totally lying because you wanted some kind of privacy and the sun had been setting and it was getting a little cooler out.Â
âHey dad whatâs upâ You askedÂ
âHey i donât have much time to talk are you somewhere privateâ He askedÂ
âYeah whatâs wrongâ You asked the worry so loud in your voice.Â
âI have intel that someone in the American diplomats office in Italy is on with our main suspectâ He saidÂ
âWhat who told you thatâ You askedÂ
âListen just trust me I canât really talk okay but his name is â Was all your dad said before the phone cut out.
You immediately tried calling him back. But there was nothing and there was complete panic. Was it the service did something happen.Â
You was about to call another member on his team when a deep voice behind you said
âWhy donât you come take a walk with meâ A strange voice rang out that sent shivers down your back.
You turned to look at him. You seen him around the office. You didn't even know his name.
You felt like you shouldn't question this man deciding to see where it went. Scott was in the same building if anything went wrong.
He walked down a long hall way and you could feel your anxiety rising. you were worried about this and your dad.
Finally at the end of the building you made your destination. It was a small office that looked like a closet. There wasn't anything even in it.
What ever was going on this man didn't want anyone to know. To your better judgement you walked into the offiice and the man shut the door behind the two of you.
"Your Agent Y/LN" He said in his mototone voice.
"yeah what's going on" You asked
"I got some intel you may need on Mark" He said
"Why would I trust you and why are you just telling me this" Something wasn't adding up.
"Because I know who your dad is" The man said
"Remy Scott SSA for the most wanted team now" The man said
Your heart was beating and sweat was coming off your forehead.
"What how do you know that" You asked
"I uh worked with him before" You could tell he was lying
"Listen take this" He said giving you a flash drive
"How can i trust this and you" You asked
"All your answers are on this" He said
The he walked out the office leaving you dumbfounded. What the hell is going on.
What happend to your dad and what the hell was on this flashdrive ?
Is That Alright?
Dean X reader
based off the song âIs That Alright?â by Lady Gaga
Thereâs probably grammatical errors, but Iâm getting back into the writing game after a few years so cut me some slack...
âWhy canât I just be undercover as a bartender? Thatâs what Iâm good at!â I argue with Sam as we are getting dressed for this shape shifter hunt. Somehow this asshat got me a legit job at the art museumâs gala tonight as the entertainment. Iâll be on piano all evening entertaining the guests as they peruse the old junk that the shifter is trying to steal.Â
âBecause this way if we get our cover blown, at least we will still have a set of eyes in the joint no matter what,â Sam says, straightening out his tie. âYouâre also a musical genius, so thatâs why.â
Weâve been tracking this shifter for days and we finally learned that itâs MO was expensive old shit. The art museum is holding their annual charity gala tonight and it will be the perfect time for extra bodies to be in the building unnoticed. Sam was the brains on this one which is why Iâm stuck in the public eye all night, Sam is working security and Dean will be hanging out behind the bar. At least if Dean is slinging drinks all night, theyâll be free.Â
âAre you two ready-â Dean starts to groan rounding the corner and stops dead in his tracks, staring at the long velvet green dress I scored from the closet of the shifterâs last vic. Itâs simple, long sleeved with a deep V neck and a slit up the leg that shows a little more than Iâd like. I can tell Dean is staring at the slit and I catch his eyes as they wander up to the neck line. By the time he reaches my face, he is pink with embarrassment.Â
Not wanting to be gawked at, I turn instantly, grabbing my bag and gun and heading out towards the car.Â
âDude, seriously?â I hear Sam say through gritted teeth, thinking I was already out of earshot.
âWhat?â Dean whisper-yells. âI havenât seen her dress up sinceâŚwell itâs been a long time.â
âYeah, thatâs why you were staring.â I can only imagine that Sam rolled his eyes as he said that before heading to meet me in the car.
âAlright superstar, you ready?â Dean wiggles his eyebrows, sliding into the driverâs seat.Â
âNot really, but at least I have the skillset,â I say, shrugging and sinking lower into the backseat to try and avoid Deanâs eyes in the rearview mirror.Â
Back in college, I was a dance and theater major. I had grown up dancing and playing piano my entire life. It wasnât until school that I realized I had a real knack for writing as well. I got really into writing short plays and original songs for musicals. After graduating, I was working at a nightclub in New York as a bartender and singer. Everyone in NYC is some sort of artist so we all had other jobs to help with that lifestyle. Most of the other people I worked with were actors and singers so we all played double duty behind the bar and on stage most nights. It was good practice for auditions and good money to get us through until the next gig. Unfortunately, the club I was working in was destroyed by a poltergeist.Â
Iâve known the Winchester family my entire life. My family lived next door to theirs when I was little. Dean was my first friend. We were 4 years old and would always be playing in the backyard together. I remember my mom constantly having to drag me back inside for a lunch or dinner break. After their mom died, I remember Dean being really sad and I couldnât understand what was really happening, but I just knew that my friend needed me. We talked about everything, and he told all about the man with the yellow eyes. It didnât make sense at the time but I was a kid so not much made sense. Two years later, he told me that he was moving, but he didnât know where. Thatâs when John decided to hit the road and hunt down whatever killed Mary. Dean said that he would send me a postcard when they got to wherever they were going so that way it was like we werenât going to be apart.Â
The postcards and letters from Dean were coming as often as one a week. My dad would set them aside for me to read after school and then help me send one back. Even apart we were still best friends. As we got older, the letters were less frequent. We went from sending them once a week, to one a month, but life got busy. My family moved to Ohio and Dean was all over the place. I finally accepted that all the crazy stories he was telling me were true after John had to talk my dad through salt and burn over the phone once.Â
I struggled when we first got to Ohio. It was the middle of my freshmen year of high school, I had no friends and I was super into dancing and playing piano.I was definitely labeled a dork the first day there. I obviously wrote to Dean to tell him all about it and his next letter came much quicker than they had been. He wanted to make sure I was ok. It was nice knowing that I had someone looking out for me even if he wasnât there in person. Our letters were getting more frequent again and my dad noticed that I was getting a little too excited to hear from Dean. My dad, wasnât dumb. He could tell that I was crushing on my pen pal. He tried to tell me that I was just crushing on the fantasy and the thrill of he adventure. Along with the letters, Dean had started sending pictures of him and Sam in cool places or doing silly little things. I never showed my dad any of those photos.Â
My favorite photo came towards the end of my senior year. It was a picture of Sam and Dean standing next to a giant bear in the woods. They had gone up to Vancouver for what they thought was a werewolf hunt, but it turns out that it was just a bear wreaking havoc on the town. The caption on the back said big scary bear hunt, wish you were here to see this. A big scary bear hunt would be more exciting than trying to find a prom date. When I wrote back to Dean I wanted to say those exact thoughts and then beg him to come to town to go with me, but I chickened out. Instead I wrote back Iâll make sure to send a scary photo of me in a prom dress so weâre even.
As prom night approached, I had been so stressed about graduation and final exams that I hadnât even realized that Dean hadnât sent a letter in a while. A few friends that also didnât have dates for the prom were over taking pictures and we were having a blast. This was definitely going to be a night to remember. The second we pulled up to the school parking lot, the sky just opened and start raining cats and dogs. Luckily we didnât get too wet on the way in the building. By the time we got in, the music was going, people were dancing and I could tell there was already someone spiking the punch. I was having the night of my life. When the third slow song of the night started playing, I took that as my cue to go outside and hope it had stopped raining just long enough to get some fresh air. When I get to the main entrance I noticed a boy standing all by himself pacing back and forth in front of his car with a flower in his hand. I thought nothing of it until I realized what kind of car it was.Â
âDean?â
He turned his head so fast that he probably gave himself whiplash. âHey, Y/n. Happy prom night.â
âWhat are you doing here?â I ask in total shock.Â
âWell, you said you were going to send a scary photo in a prom dress, but I wanted to see it in person. Figured it wouldnât be so scary that way,â we both chuckle and awkwardly just stand there for a few more minutes. âOh, this is for you by the way,â he says, handing me the wrist corsage.Â
âThanks,â I say and I canât help but blush. I could hear cheering from inside so that must mean that the music has picked back up. âDo you want to come in?â
âIf thatâs your way of asking me to prom, Y/N,â Dean sighed. âThen abso-freaking-lutely.â
Dean and I danced all night and when it was time to go we ended up driving to the park down the street to just catch up. The rain had stopped and it had turned out to be a pretty decent night so we just sat on the swings talking for hours. He filled me in on hunting life, I filled him in on high school and what I was doing after graduation. The plan was to study dance and theater at NYU and hopefully end up living in the city. Everything just felt right. It was in this moment that I knew I was falling for Dean. The way he talked about his family and how he took care of his brother when his dad was away, or the way he looked at me when I was telling the silliest of stories just made me feel slightly weaker than I should have.Â
We were so into our conversation that we hadnât realized it had started to lightly rain again until it started pouring. Dean took off his jacket and tried to shield us from getting wet. Halfway to the car I froze. I knew that if we got in that car and he took me home, I might not get the chance to do what I have been wanting to do all night. Dean turned around, having given up on the jacket at this point since we were already soaked. âY/N, come on!âÂ
I still just stood there. Dean comes running up, grabbing my hand to try and get me to move, but when he does I resist, pull him in to me and slam my lips onto his. It takes me a second to realize what Iâve done before pulling away. What if he didnât want this? What if he thinks of me like a little sister? What if he is with somebody else somewhere else? Thoughts crowding my head, I pull back and start to profusely apologize.Â
âOh my god, Iâm so sorry. I donât know-â I was cut off by Dean pulling me back into our kiss. This time my thoughts slowed and shifted out of panic and into something else. It was something I hadnât felt before but I liked it. We kissed for what felt like forever, forgetting that it was raining. When he pulled away he pressed his forehead to mine. âWas that alright?â
I just smiled the biggest smile I had ever smiled before. âDefinitely alright.â
âŚ..
After prom night, I hadnât seen Dean or Sam much. I knew of their whereabouts and they knew of mine, but life got even busier. As much as I wanted to see Dean and talk about us, I knew it probably wasnât going to happen. By the time I had graduated from NYU I had convinced myself that my feelings for Dean were just a school girl crush and that I could just get over it. The boys were hunting nonstop and I was focused on my career. I was so focused on my career that I had almost missed all the signs that the club was being haunted by a poltergeist.Â
As soon as I figured it out, I had called Dean and Sam and they were in the city the next day and the problem was mostly solved. Things got a little hairy and unfortunately the club burned down and was going to need rebuilt. On the brightside, the poltergeist problem was gone. With the club gone and my job no longer existent, I had no way to pay rent so in a very quick turn of events, I ended up leaving the city in the back of the Impala and have been with the boys ever since.Â
The night started slow. Sam was scanning security footage looking for any flares while Dean was trying to subtly touch every guest with some sort of silver. I was posted up at a gorgeous black baby grand piano all night and was much less focused on the hunt than I should have been. Guests were requesting their favorite songs, and some of them even asked if I had any originals I would be willing to play. I do have a few originals, but nobody has ever heard them before. Most of them are a tad too personal to be playing for this crowd, specifically Dean.Â
Off by the bar, I see Sam and Dean deep in conversation. When we make eye contact, they flag me down. I announce that Iâd be taking a short break and head down the hall to the main gallery. We barely make it down the hall and out of sight of the guests before Iâm slammed against a stone statue and start seeing double. Well, just double of Dean. There was still only one of Sam, though he was knocked out in a crumpled mess on the floor. One Dean was laying on the floor scrambling to get out from under a painting that had come crashing down and one was strolling towards me without a care in the world.Â
âTurns out shifting into the bartender is easier when heâs already half drunk,â the sauntering Dean said. âEven if he is a hunter.âÂ
I try to find my bag which has been knocked out of my reach when the shifter reaches me. âSo youâre the pretty one heâs been drinking over all night.â
âY/N!â I hear Dean yell. âStay away from her, you son of a bitch!â
ââDid you know that when we change appearance, we also get a little insight into what the human scum is actually thinking. Turns out, Deano over there has been undressing you with his eyes since you got here. But what I donât understand is why he hasnât done it before.âÂ
The shifterâs words meant nothing to me. I knew it was lying. Did I want Dean to think of me that way? Yeah, yeah I did. But this was not going to throw me off my game. My purse with my gun in it may have been knocked clear out of reach, but the knife I had strapped to my leg was already in my hands. Before I can let the shifter get any closer, my silver knife is through its chest and Iâm shoving it away as fast as I possibly can to avoid any blood getting on this dress. Shifter hits the floor, Dean is finally on his feet and Samâs eyes are back open.Â
âWhat did I miss?â Sam groans, grabbing the back of his head.Â
âSeems like Y/N had it taken care of,â Dean reached out his hand for Samâs, pulling him to his feet. âY/N, we can clean this up if you want to get back out there.â
âUh,â I say looking down at my dress making sure I still look presentable. Donât want the guests freaking out over a blood splattered dress. âYeah, totally. I can go and finish up my set and then we can get out of here.â
âHey, Y/N,â Dean runs over to me before I head down the hall. âYou good? You look a little shaken.â Thinking about what the shifter said did shake me up a bit, but itâs not true. It canât be true.Â
âIâm good, Dean.â I pat his shoulder and head back to the gala. I stopped for a glass of wine on my way back to the piano when the event organizer stopped me.
 âAny chance you can play some of your originals? That crowd is getting a little rowdy with the classics. Maybe a few new songs will tone them back down a bit. I think the bartender is a little heavy handed on the pour.â
I glanced around for any sight of the Winchesters, knowing full well that they were going to be a while since they had to clean up our mess. If they arenât here, then they canât hear. âUm, sure. Iâve got a few that I can play.â
âGreat! Thank you,â she says running off in the other direction to go deal with some big time buyers.Â
I down the glass of wine and take my place back at the piano. A few guests clapped at my return. I take a deep breath and decide to slow things down a little bit for the crowd since it really has turned into a party out here. Well, here goesâŚ
Life is so simple
A little boy, a little girl
Laughing and loving
Trying to figure out the world
It felt like summer
When I kissed you in the rain
And I know your story
But tell me again
Nothing you say wouldn't interest me
All of your words are like poems to me
I would be honored if you would take me as I am
I want you to look right in my eyes
To tell me you love me, to be by my side
I want you at the end of my life
I wanna see your face, when I fall with grace
At the moment I die
Is that alright?
Is that alright?
I hadnât realized that the entire crowd had stopped everything they were doing to listen. I glanced up out of my trance to see everyone watching with eyes that were truly taken by what I was singing. Thank god Dean wasnât out there listening to what I knew I would never be able to say to his face...
I hope you're still with me when I'm not quite myself
And I pray that you'll lift me when you know I need help
It's a warm celebration of all of our years
I dream of our story, of our fairy tale
Family dinners and family trees
Teaching the kids to say thank you and please
Knowing if we stay together that things will be right
I didnât need to look up very much to see that furrowed brow and look of confusion that I hoped wouldnât be watching. Canât stop now, if he only knew this was all for himâŚ
I want you to look right in my eyes
To tell me you love me, to be by my side
I want you at the end of my life
I wanna see your face, when I fall with grace
At the moment I die
Is that alright?
Is that alright?
Is that alright?
Finishing the last few notes was a relief. I loved this song, but it was too personal. I should have picked a different one. Luckily, the organizer was the first to applaud as she walked over with a mic announcing that the auction would be starting which was my cue to head out. I didnât even take a second glance over at the bar to know that Dean and Sam had already headed out so I beeline it out to the Impala, hop in the backseat and sink as low as I can avoiding Deanâs gaze in the mirror once again. I was exhausted physically and mentally. I knew the ride was short but I closed my eyes anyway. The car was quiet and I took advantage of the silence to feign sleep. Turns out I actually fell asleep and didnât realize it until I was plopped into my bed in the motel.
When I wake up the next morning, thereâs a cup of coffee next to the bed already and Sam is sitting across from me at the table, laptop open. âMorning, Y/N.â
âMorning Sam,â I sat up realizing Iâm still in my dress from last night. âSorry I passed out on yâall last night.â I swing my feet out of bed and grab a t-shirt and shorts to throw on instead of my dress. As much as I was loving this dress, it wasnât really daytime apparel. âDean go to grab food?â
âI think so,â he shrugged.â He was gone before I got up. Should be back within the hour I assume. You wanna go for a run while we wait?âÂ
Sam was always down for a run. Dean hated all versions of physical activity which made zero sense. The man ate like a linebacker but was still fit as hell. It wasnât fair. I change my clothes, lace up my shoes and head out with Sam. We reach a small pond at the end of the trail and realized where Dean actually went.Â
âDid you run out here?â Sam asked, approaching Dean sitting on the sole bench next to the water.Â
âUh, yeah,â Dean scoffs, turning to look at us approaching his quiet time.
âWere you running from something spooky? Or was it voluntary?âÂ
âFuck off, Sammy.â
âLanguage!â I scold as I finally make it up to Sam.Â
âYa know, it was quiet before you two hooligans showed up,â Dean scoffs standing up from what I have now determined was his hiding spot. We all just stand there in total silence for about a minute before Sam calls dibs on the shower and takes off faster than Iâve ever seen him run before. Clearly the silence was more uncomfortable for him than it was for me.Â
âGuess he really wants a hot shower,â I murmur, turning towards Dean. âYou wanna just walk back?â I shrug starting on the trail back when Dean grabs my arm and turns me towards him.Â
âWe gotta talk.â
âAboutâŚâ
âSeriously? I heard that song last night, Y/N.â
Oh, so he did pay attention. Crap.
âIt was just a song, Dean. Have you heard the crap on the radio nowadays? Songs can literally be about anything.â I try to get myself out of this confrontation. I was able to walk away from his grip for 4 seconds before he shouts at me.
âIt was about us!âÂ
I froze in my tracks. âDean,â I slowly turn around briefly finding his piercing green eyes. âThere is no us,â I whisper, taking my eyes to the ground and shaking my head. âItâs just a song.â I turn back around and start walking as fast as I can back in the direction we came hoping I can get far enough down the road before involuntary tears start falling. I donât make it very far. The tears start to fall and my steps slow. I freeze and let my emotions finally take over. I havenât let myself feel what I had been wanting to feel in a long time. I hadnât even realized that Dean had caught up.
âDid you mean what you said?â He whispered into my ear as he pulled me into his chest. âDo you really want me by your side? Because if you do, I want to be there.â
I pull away briefly looking up into his wet eyes. I want him so bad. Heâs all I ever wanted. âIs that alright?â
Deanâs facial expression changes into one that is rarely seen. âOh, sweetheart. Itâs more than alright.â
