Hooray, questions! Thanks so much for sending me some, and mere minutes after I reblogged that post too! Here we go:

(Note: I’ll use Book of Gold for this one as it’s my most recently finished work, and Jellie is still too short to say much about different scenes.)

9. What scene was the hardest to write for you and why?

A number of scenes comes to mind, but one I struggled with a lot was the love confession scene between Diana and Gigi. The problem with it was that I had imagined it so often that it was hard to put into words; especially since I’d never actually bothered thinking about how to start it, and I needed a way to plausibly lead up to the confession. Also, action scenes that required balancing a large number of characters were always a struggle because, y’know, logistics.

10. What scene was the most fun to write for you and why?

I loved writing the bit where Xiulan’s vengeful spirit (really just the manifestation of her emotions) chased the heroes through the volcano passages. There’s just something about the environment taking on strange shapes and creepy images to reflect a character’s psychological state that always gets me. Blame it on me reading Servamp in my formative years.

Kit didn’t think so. She jack hammered her teeth through her own biscuit and nearly choked on the dry sawdust that filled her mouth. “It’s definitely nothing like your biscuits. Jesus, this thing tastes like buttered sand.” She grabbed the water bottle she kept near her makeshift bed and took a few gulps to wash it down.

“But for your first time, it’s really not that bad! You’ll probably be an expert by the time I go back home.” Emily smiled around the lip of the shot glass, chasing the biscuit down with her Dayquil.

i felt like to go along with my new url, i should reintroduce myself ! my account has grown since my first one so some of y’all may not know who i am :)

i follow from @rvmengf​ (and was previously lysander-xp)

hello friends ! my name is rhys, i am 20 years old, use they/them, and am a nonbinary lesbian. i currently live with my mom, my girlfriend of two years, and our two cats in texas. i’ve been writing for probably over a decade at this point, but i go through lulls in my seriousness, and, more recently, my productivity. last time i was as actively writing as i am now was in 2015, but ive done some large-scale rp’s with friends since then.

im currently a junior in university going for my BA in psychology, with a minor in biology. i have some really loose plans for what i want to do with my degrees in the future, but i have some time to think about that because i’ll still be in school for the next 6-8 years ! i do hope to work in research, and will probably end up teaching in a university (which is fine by me !) :)

Dorian walked through the lower town, passing shop after shop as they closed for the night, until he finally came upon an old, seemingly abandoned shack. A rusty sign dangled by a single chain above the door, the slightest breath of wind threatening to knock it loose. Squinting, Dorian could just make out the lettering on the sign: The Culterus’ Cup. With a smile, he leaned on the door, not so much pushing it open as pushing it aside, its hinges broken long ago. Warm light from the street-lamps outside filtered through the doorway, but was immediately swallowed up by the murky interior. The smell of dust, drams, and desperation seeped through the doorway and settled around Dorian’s boots.

Ah, the smell of alcoholics in the evening, he sighed. Seem’s like nothing’s changed.
