I decided to take notes while I played through 2.3… so here they are

First Scene

-stellaron sealed when we were asleep apparently

-was Sunday the one to tailor everyone’s dreams?

-dreamscape itself exists???

-march’s memories are weird as normal, tentacle tried to reach into her brain but found SOMETHING???

-we were asleep when this all happened and we woke up and immediately asked if it was a dream so something is already up oh boy

Second Scene

-firefly and silverwolf yay

-firefly is still on the wanted list, as Firefly this time

-it was a missing part of her life she got back

-Silverwolf helps her out with not being able to move freely, giving her a way out of dreaming ig??? Helps her navigate through unbothered ?

-idk the mechanics of it if you can’t tell

-Miss Samuel as a fake name lmao

-GENIUS SOCIETY IS HERE?? WHYYY?? HUHHH

-firefly’s script isn’t over yet (third death I assume?)

-“didn’t bring you back to hear an answer like that,” did SW think she already experienced the third death? On her second death was SW the one to revive her, as it seemed like she did that on her own in 2.2?

-yeah she hasn’t done 3rd death yet, and I assume the “unforgettable reward,” is *sighs* time with the Trailblazer

-“How will I know if I don’t try?” Hmmm this confuses me

-SW says she’s already made up her mind

-ooh Kafka asks for some gifts LMAOO, fashionable as always

-to Oti mall I guess, isn’t that one of the people who expressed disappointment in Sunday?

-BLADE ADVICE? telling her to not get tempted, tempted by what?

-YAY SHE GETS NORMAL GIRL TIME THIS IS EXACTLY WHAT I WANTED

Third Scene

-TOPAZ POV

-were are on the Radiant Felddpar ship

-Family is there but “Big Boss” isn’t, I assume that’s Jade

-there’s music notes in the air? Robin?

-Topaz points out how weird this choice of location is

-ship belongs to Alfalfa Family

-npc we are talking to also thinks it should have been held in a more secretive area (Moment of Morning Dew)

-not serious enough atmosphere

-something’s up definitely

-Topaz thinks conference is just a prelude- whatever Family organizer wanted to assess the IPC’s stance beforehand

-she thinks they either have their own ambitions and want a preliminary agreement, or want to make the IPC back off, we shall see ig

-Big Boss is a her (definitely Jade), Topaz complimented, saying others must be cautious of her

-tells subordinate Thomas to just tell the rest of her employees to stay focused on the task ahead

-yeah it’s Jade, act shocked, also she’d get mad if he called her that 😭😭

-walking around time

-there is music all around the ship

-not very important but there are paper birds here too

-none of the important figures have arrived to the meeting room yet, so let’s look around

This is just from looking around:

-why are there dream pools on the ship? I thought we were already in the dream?

-the torment eagle things are here too

-and nightingale paintings

-Sparkles bombs, delightful

-why is there a room on the ship that looks like Mishas room in the dream

-it seems like the Family is already aware of the bombs and is looking for them based on the dialogue of the NPCs

-there’s a lost kid on the ship?

-so many doors are closed off

-the quest is titled “All About Eve” like Eve from the Bible? Is that referring to Jade?

-exhibit that hasn’t been delivered yet

-Robin has instructed them to prepare some things but it seems like the Family isn’t ready yet?

Ok I’m gonna talk to the workers now

-ok talked to the one by Sparkles bombs and Sparkle started talking

-Numby can hear her I think, I don’t think Topaz did

-yeah Topaz doesn’t know they are bombs that Sparkle hands out, apparently she was disguised as man- maybe Sampo?, uh no all the Buttons are in one place

-somehow nobody pressed a button, I don’t believe that, the NPC also says that all guests are terrified of death, but like, how did nobody press it?

-yep we are in the dream bc she wants to feed Numby and questions the food quality in a dream

-Numby does not like Oat Cake Rolls

-Topaz will give them a better meal in reality

-so why is there a dreamscape pool in the dream

-asks more about Radiant Feldspar, which is also owned by Oti Alfalfa, just like the store Firefly wanted to go to

-built an Amber Era ago, it sails across all 12 hours- so they are connected you just have to cross them I guess? Or like does it slip through dimensions

-Topaz recognizes Old Oti, however what’s weird is that despite how she points out how well decorated it is, there seems to be a lot of stuff missing + Robin thing from earlier

-only prestigious guests are invited, so how did that Pepeshi get lost?

-Ship had been sailing since it was built but was halted due to the recent reverberation

-reverberation aka whatever the fuck just happened in 2.2

-Family attendant repeats that everything has been resolved and the Charmony Festival had to be temporarily postponed

-so it’s gonna happen on the ship now, and will also resume the ships voyage, so I guess that’s why Robin ordered some things and everything is a bit out of place

-However, why are they gathering Sparkles Bombs onto the celebration + meeting ship? Why not anywhere else?

-Talent Motivation Department mention

-ppl still coming after Topaz for Jarilo I will kill them <3

-poor girl can’t get a break, JADE IS HERE

CUTSCENE SO MUCH HAPPENED

-Numby does not trust or like Jade at all

-Topaz is fucking star struck on her knees dying down bad gay gay gay

-Jade commends her for the Jarilo project, saying the Express’s favor is far more valuable than the planet itself

-Jade says Topaz can tell her anything, then holds out her Cornerstone as if Topaz would talk to it???

-hmmm

-“you can always tell me anything, remember?” Ah so they are close, and Topaz seems to trust her and vice versa, however I (and Numby) do not trust Jade so there is something sinister going on

Alright cutscene yapping over

-Jade says to drop the title, that they are equals

-Topaz calls her a senior, but I think she just means in rank

-Jade wants Topaz to be at her best- upcoming negotiations leave no room for error

-true purpose of conference: Oti testing limits of 2 stonehearts before offical negotiations can commence, works in their favor bc it will cause future negotiations to go smoother if they can reach an agreement (this is obvious benefit)

-hidden benefit: demonstrates the Family isn’t all that united bc he’s meeting w them first on his own territory + taking control of Charmony Festival too

-they aren’t entirely influenced by the Harmony so their personal desires shine through, influential figures haven’t suppressed their own

-with the Dreammaster gone, the Family has begun to fall apart slowly, seems like after 2.2 Oti took over

-Jade taught her to Listen, test and strike, Jade teases her that she changed the order on Jarilo- Topaz’s personal experience caused this (her seeing her past/trauma in Belabog)

-meeting time!

-meeting esteemed “supporting actor” hmm

-goal is to create an opportunity for IPC to enter Penacony- Aventurine made a small hole for them to enter, and they are going to tear it wide open

-the bombs/buttons are gone 😨 and so is that guard

-was there a projector in that room (with the dream pool) before?

-diff family attendant at that spot before

Ok back to plot time

-oh this is the place where the divergent universe takes place (I started it a bit yesterday lol, oops), seems like that’s what the Genius Society will get a hold of at the end of this?

-Oti is a Pepeshi, and I really like his character model, he seems welcoming?

Looking around time again

-the mechanism they use for the Divergent Universe is already there- did Ratio and Screwllum meet with Oti beforehand? Is that how he figured out Dormancy?

-some more locked doors

-let’s talk to Jade before we see Oti

-oh we can’t it just makes us walk beside her

Conversation time

-Oti is hospitable, asks them to forgive him for the wait

-Oti is such a businessman that the Strategic Investment Department makes it a requirement to read his biography

-she’s trying to flatter him but I think Jade is also warning him that she and the rest of the department know everything about him and who he is

-Topaz doesn’t seem to notice that though and praises him for single handedly building Penacony economy

-Oti noticed Jade’s tactics I think

-he gets straight to the point- future of Penacony

-Oti questions wtf Aventurine was doing and why 😭, almost getting killed and for what?

-oh he figured them out LMAOO, yup that was for an opportunity

-haha Jade says “fuck he figured us out” nicely

-she puts the pressure back on him, asking Oti how he would respond

-he first admires her composure at being called out

-“Oti won’t sit idly by when faced with a greedy wolf,” is he referring to the IPC, Aventurine or both?

-offscreen negotiation

-seems he said something that offended Topaz and Jade, Jade says she’s all ears

-Oti says he requested this meeting to dissuade the SID from trying to lay a finger on Penacony

-asks them to back off before they lose face in the future

-Topaz points out their fuck ups- Aventurine almost getting murdered and the Charmony Festival fuck up, that there are plenty of real issues plaguing the area

-Oti says they need to be more creative in the land of dreams

-“My actions will help Penacony take a significant step forward by “self-listing” and going public!” What does that mean

-Jade asks if he’s gonna bypass the IPC and go public on a universal scale (still don’t know what that means)

-rather than letting the IPC take hold, he’s gonna open the sweet dream to everyone in the universe- which is worded REALLY sinister if you ask me- is he gonna try and make everyone in it dream?

-he redirects and says that from today, anyone can become a shareholder in the Land of Dreams, and that’s the Path of Harmony he chooses

-Oti was aware of the Oaks family’s entanglement with the Order, calls them blockheads who prevented this from happening sooner

-Oti is thankful that the “reverberation” (Sunday and Order’s downfall) has allowed for the obstacle between him and his reforms to be eliminated

-publicize their finances so the universe still has faith in them + the Family remains confident in its future

-neither Jade nor Topaz seem happy about this, seems like they don’t feel as if they are on equal footing

-Jade asks Oti if he’s being waiting for Penacony to regain the spotlight, so if the IPC does anything, their actions will be scrutinized by trillions of people

-asks them to consider their next moves carefully

-Jade suggests they conclude the first half of their conference, and that they will respond on the behalf of the IPC later

-he just tells them to take their time (Oti is confident he is in control)

Scene 4- Trailblazer POV

-seems that meeting has concluded as Dan Heng asks if the Alfalfa Family had a meeting with the IPC

-Aventurine told them that to “return the favor”

-I wonder what happened in the meantime to get us here

-Welt points out that Penacony hasn’t changed much since the prison era, suggests that Penacony would rather invite the IPC to the table- on the surface to cooperate- but in reality to secure their own survival

-which is why the Astral Express are now mediators, and Dan Heng doesn’t know who to stand behind

-Welt doesn’t trust the followers of the Harmony to be as innocent as they presume they are

-if either the Family or the IPC were to take control of Penacony, the efforts of the previous nameless to free it from that illusory hedonism would go to waste

-we were in a deep sleep apparently (uh oh)

-one of the dialogue options says that TB felt like they were in a really long dream

-another asks where Himeko is

-Welt says their adventure in Penacony is reaching its conclusion

-After Ena’s dream shattered, Montour System’s branch of the Family took control of the situation, most members of the Oak Family fell unconscious? But their lives weren’t in danger

-Gopher Wood, the previous Dreamaster was confirmed to be the mastermind behind everything, however we know that Sunday killed him. But didn’t he kill him in the dream? So how did gopher wood die in reality? Or did like, the power of the Order that Sunday must have used on him cause that, or did he step outside the dream to face Gopher, then go back in?

-Sunday will face a trial: the Family won’t disclose any further details

-public perceived incident as an attack by evil forces targeting the Charmony festival, believing the Family had failed to safeguard the sweet dream which eroded their credibility significantly

-at least it has the least impact? Even if it’s far from what really went down

-SIOBHAN IS BACK

-she says they will get over it

-“you don’t know who’s awake and who’s pretending to be asleep”- another ominous line

-gives them a toast

-trailblazer asks why she’s there again, Siobhan is just confused

-asks when they will leave Penacony

-Welt says they will stay a bit longer, just not too long

-she says this farewell is missing something

-“maybe a special drink to honor those who are not here” oh yeah Gallagher is gone GONE

-To the Nameless resting in peace… and to Gallagher, oh he’s so gone

Walking around time again

-everyone but Himeko is here

Ok taking this many notes is exhausting and is lowkey killing my enjoyment 😭 so I’ll just leave the REALLY important stuff from now on

-The Family claims the Oak Family used the stellaron to help sink everyone into Ena’s dream

-others had their own delusional dreams

-DH says the hidden dangers of the Order have always been within the Harmony, an issue that has persisted in the Family from the very beginning

-more awareness makes this complicated

-March has a button now too, says she was told the buttons will explode Penacony if pressed

-himeko’s been up to something lately she will tell us at the festival

-Siobhan gives us another drink, saying it will “bring back the flavors of Penacony” which makes me believe it will help us get back here somehow

-Welt is sure it will leave a lasting impression, hmmm

-she says if we happen to find Gallagher, to let him have a sip

Scene 5: Jade POV

-Oti is tricky but there is still hope

-Jade asked Topaz to make a phone call offscreen, presumably to the express who agreed

-talking in code

-Jade asks Topaz if she thinks Penacony is worth it

-Topaz says yes

-Jade questions if this project is too bland for her

-Topaz says she would be here if it weren’t for Aventurine

-Jade pointed out she entrusted him with a cornerstone, which is as precious as life itself to finish this gamble

-however Topaz points at out that Jade’s stone couldn’t have made it in without either of their cornerstones: and that the Jade stone allows Jade to see all desires that flow through the dreams to gain a bargaining chip in the negotiations: this must be the “harvest” Jade was referring to in 2.1, seems like this is her Cornerstone’s ability

-Perhaps that’s why she held it up earlier? To allow Topaz to vent her feelings into the Jade stone?

-Topaz actually staked her Topaz’s stone for Jade’s sake, not Aventurine’s

-Jade is greatful Aven is alive, saying it’s the best outcome, Topaz immediately says they have strayed off topic

-Jade says she will go alone, instructs Topaz to meet “honored guest”- likely the Nameless

-Jade spots Robin

-turns out we were actually in the previously locked off rooms in the back of where we met Oti, he’s still there, and he’s wearing glasses? Was he before? We can’t talk to him tho

-ah this also unlocked some more doors- it’s where the ship is captained, but the captains room is locked

-Robin is preparing for Charmony Festival

-Jade lies saying she’s on her way to meet Oti really she’s just here for info before meeting him

-Robins never met him, she says Alfalfa is respectable when it comes to business, but not necessarily in other respects

-Jade asks where Robin thinks Penacony is heading, Robin is hopeful, thinks Harmony needs new direction

-“no permanent allies or everlasting enemies,”

-2nd half of negotiations- no Topaz this time

-Jade is gonna be meaner bc Topaz isn’t here you go manipulative queen

-says Oti is not the only merchant who has seen the changes in the cosmic market over the past ten Amber Eras

-Jade declares that Penacony has no way of sidestepping the IPC and going public, that they can’t stop the IPC, the IPC will tear down and rebuild as they see fit

-tells Oti that if he doesn’t want to be a laughingstock and have everyone after him, he better drop his “pie-in-the-sky-plan” perhaps he was planning on using Sparkles bombs to take out the IPC ambassadors now that the protection of not being able to die in the dream is no longer there- or at least he has control over it

-Jade reminds him IPC controls more than half the news in the universe

-says trillions of customers will receive a, “The Family’s protection for Penacony has expired. Any mishaps in the Dreamscape could result in permanent brain death,” message from the IPC if Penacony decides to go public

-threatens to make his entire currency worthless with how many contingencies the IPC has, Jade is confident she can pull it off, even from Pier Point

-she promises that the IPC won’t jeopardize the interests of the Family heads under Oti’s leadership if he gives up the plan to go public

-they (IPC) want allies in Asdana, Jade says they can assist Penacony with financing, will acquire 30% equity shares from the Family, and in exchange will also help rebuild Penacony

-Oti thinks it’s too much, and worried about the future

-Jade happily says there are no guarentees- this is based on mutual respect- but the board of directors will consider the interests of the Family heads to some extent

-she points out this would be beneficial for the Family, and for him, if they both take a step back, also points out this will attract more customers like he wanted

-as the head of the Alfalfa family, Oti accepts, seeing no reason to refuse, but as THEIR (Xipe’s) chosen one, he still needs one final answer (hmmm this is an interesting detail)

-talks about the rise of Xipe and fall of Ena, he asks why the IPC seeks to collaborate with the Family (Harmony) rather than the Order, who is far closer in ideals (Preservation)

-Jade says it’s about credit, saying that through the Preservation, the IPC can perpetually ensure credits value, meaning they have no need for the Order, as they have made their own, with Qilpoths “credit” being the heart of everything

-Oti understands this will eventually lead to the IPC taking control over everything

-“this universe doesn’t need two types of Order” (Preservation and the Order)

-Oti says he’s convinced

-code words from before come back in (shit I should have written them down, it was poison something, sweet dew, and apple something, sweet dew shows up this time per Topaz’s invite)

-unsurprisingly, it’s one of the Nameless: Himeko

-Astral Express will be shareholders? Perhaps this is so they can guarantee the future the Nameless wanted like Welt mentioned

-IPC gets 30%, gives 5% to the express to “honor the sacrifices and contributions made by the former Nameless to the Land of the Dreams,” which is A) true B) the real honor is the express now having a foot in the door to prevent Penacony from being like it was before

-Himeko is a member for the board of directors- what board? One in the IPC, or for Penacony, the Family?

-crew agreed to assist in reconstruction of Penacony, and commit to bringing the dreams of Penacony to other worlds

-However, they really wish for the Harmony to not be distorted again, that tragedy must never occur again

-negotiations end, we (as Jade) will go to meet up w Topaz again

-Jade believes the family heads will soon realize the situation, and that Oti’s agreement didn’t just represent their agreement, but the followers of the Harmony in general (this last part is only implied though)

-Topaz says she will handle the arrangements for formal negotiations

-Jade allows her to- gives Topaz a sense of control OOOH THE MANIPULATIONNNNN

-Topaz is shocked bc big responsibility, but Jade interrupts

-she says that Aventurine initiated this case and Topaz was his project partner, but since he overplayed his hand (taking on a case he couldn’t handle on his own?) Jade got pushed to the forefront

-OOH MORE MANIPULATION, Jade says she came here to help Topaz sort out the toughest issues, saying “I trust you’ll be able to wrap things up quite nicely, little Jelena,”

-Topaz’s objections immediately get pushed aside bc of Jades words, and asks Jade to give Diamond her assurance

-Jade tells her to not worry, Diamond has always trusted them, and Jade will put in a good word for her, and Topaz will get her position (P45) back in no time

-Jade claims her business is done so she’s gonna indulge in her own little hobby (I’m scared)

-which is opening a Bonajade Exchange branch on this ship, whatever that is, Jade believes the guests on this ship had or a wealth of valuable treasures tho

-it’s a pawnshop, and Jade says she will leave, saying she’ll “see you around Topaz”

-Topaz has one more question, Jade gladly lets her ask, she asks about the dose of “bitter poison”, wondering how Jade got it (I’m guessing her Cornerstone), it wasn’t her cornerstone, a “lady concerned with the future of the Harmony” told her (maybe this is Robin? But it seems like that was their first meeting? Hmm)

-Jade says she agreed to help her with something later (which makes me think this was Sparkle now haha), and that they can deal with it after they leave Penacony

-“that’s what ‘investment’ is all about”- the seeds of opportunity have already been soon and Jade simply gives them a little bit of nourishment for them to take root, afterwards all they (her and Topaz) need to do is wait patiently

-like right now, and Jade’s final “guest” boarded the ship

I’m insane about this actually yall. TOPAZ CENTRIC STORY??? WHAT IF I DIED. Also I love the way Jade was written in this, they made her as manipulative as I wanted her to be, so yeah I love her THEY COMMITED TO THE BIT I PRAYED FOR TIMES LIKE THIS

Scene 6: Firefly POV

-she boards (rather sneaks onto) the ship, so I assume she’s Jade’s final guest

-oh she’s heading to the pawnshop that grants wishes (it’s definitely Jade’s), perhaps to get those gifts she wanted earlier, or defy her destiny like she wanted to earlier?

-hey those closed off areas are unlocked W

-she spots TB, Robin is also there

-there’s a nice banquet table for people in that room, we got a shot of it earlier during Topaz, Jade and Oti’s meeting, idk what line of dialogue it was for tho

-Firefly overhears Robin saying that she will, “present a gift to the Astral Express on behalf of The Family as a token of gratitude for the Nameless’ contributions to Penacony”, asking for the staff to help her w the arrangements

-Firefly then asks how to get to the pawnshop, yup it’s Jade’s spot, she gets the directions

-Silverwolf was gonna meet w the Genius Society? Why? Also apparently she mentioned Jade’s stuff earlier, I don’t remember that though, maybe I forgot to write it down

-we can look for the TB so I’m going to

-TB is being a dumbass as ever and Firefly is amused

-she wants to talk to us but Firefly wants to meet Jade first

-we can’t go over there even if we want to

-Jade made her exchange in the dream pool room for some reason

-asks Jade to call her Samuel

-Firefly says she wants to give up living, and that she’s willing to give up everything she has

-even Jade is gagged

-Firefly is like yup! Everything!

-Jade says she should turn around bc she’s not familiar with the term, “pawn” aka she’s betting quite literally EVERYTHING

-Jade says she doesn’t have anything of equal value to offer her

-Firefly is upset, says this shop must just be a marketing gimmick

-Jade says she will help Firefly understand what she means, telling her to go and talk to the other customers, when she understands what “pawn” really means

-we see the TB being stupid again, this time w Dan Heng tagging along

-again she plans on catching up w them later

-first person she meets, Stacy, finally won a gamble w the blessing of Lady Bonajade

-there also seems to be way more guests on the ship

-second person she meets, a Pepeshi named Dell, gets his crush named Dorothy to go out with him, implied that he wished for her to say yes

-ppl seem to be gossiping about a grey haired person, either Firefly or TB

-yup it’s TB

-someone has been hiding in the Moment of Sol in Penacony under a fake identity, proposing as a professor at Paperfold academy, apparently this intellatron (Walker) found him (idk who him is) with the help of an influential figure

-ah this is unimportant this was just the wishes of the third person

-Firefly still doesn’t get it, but their wishes did seem to come true

-Jade said it was just to show the exchange was genuine, how she shows how all three of them gave up so much in exchange for their wishes, so yeah, glorified drug dealer, but it is an equal exchange, and Jade only encourages these people’s delusions, giving with the power of her Cornerstone for a hefty price

-uses their endless cycle of desires to get what Jade desires from their whirlpool of horrific decision making

-Jade knows Firefly’s identity, and she asks Firefly if she’s really willing to give up everything, Firefly isn’t surprised though

-Entropy Loss Syndrome was thrust upon all of the Iron Calvary in order to keep them fighting for Glamoth, and from falling into the wrong hands

-Firmament Front is gone so those who know the secret and could cure the disease are nowhere to be found, but Firefly still wishes to continue her existence

-Firefly asks if the IPC has a remedy

-Jade just says there might be a silver lining and leaves it at that

-Firefly realizes that she can’t provide anything of equal value bc nothing she owns has any meaning

-asks Jade if she’s gonna ask her to restrain the other Stellaron Hunters for her survival

-that’s not the case though, Jade acknowledges how remarkable close the Stellaron Hunters are, compares them to the Stonehearts, OOOHH LORE DROP

-Jade says like how the Stoneheart follow Diamond, the Stellaron Hunters are, “Traveling on the Path of Finality but struggling against your destiny, attempting to move in the opposite direction?”

-Firefly remains silent

-Jade hopes all of them will visit her pawnshop one day

-Firefly asks if she can see this as an invitation from Diamond to the Stellaron hunters behind the IPC’s back

-Jade says to consider it a person offer, not representing the IPC or SID

-Firefly says she will pass on the offer, but she has a question

-Firefly points out that SW could let the entirety of Pier Point know of this in seconds, so why would Jade ask this

-Jade says it’s because she believes her and Firefly are the same

OH MY GOD STONEHEART PICTURE

-she believes the Stonehearts band together to get what they want, and have been invited by Diamond to join them whilst on their own journeys

-Jade says all stonehearts carry a void (ambition) that can only be filled from the outside

-also omg Topaz and Aven look GOOOODD GRERRAAAA TOPAZ LOOOS SO FINE EEJFHJEJAKSKWS RAAAAA AVENNNNNNTURJEJNWKAND AAAA

-so Diamond promised them something, he divided the power of the Emanator of Preservation into ten pieces (for the ten stonehearts) and gave each of us a Cornerstone to fill that void

-“Mortal flesh is fragile, yet my heart is unyielding like the monolith. For without this resolve, the way of the Preservation would fade into oblivion.”

-Jade says this pledge goes beyond a mere oath, it’s their collateral in exchange for the Stonehearts desires, and their future

What I think Ratio is suggesting is that what Aventurine is missing isn’t talent or knowledge, but genuine connections with other people, goals, desires, a purpose, things that aren’t so material

CUTSCENE

Compare astral express and stellaron hunters like light and shadow and tied together

-OH BOY SO MUCH HAPPENS

-Sparkle detonates the bomb early but it’s actually fireworks

-she then bops us off the edge of the ship but Firefly catches and saves us

-she reaffirms what we said, both that destiny is ours to choose and that the reason why life slumbers is because one day we will wake up

-there’s a little procession of scenes of everyone so far

-highlights being Ratio leaving and Boothill pulling out a gun due to Argentis yapping

-and Aven reminiscing in the place where he found himself again

-we also get a little peak at what Acheron is doing

-she put three flowers on the graves of the Nameless, officially saying by to them

-child wanted to put flowers down for the Nameless? I don’t really understand her first line in this

-oh the child is Mikhail and the flowers are for the other two Nameless, and when he’s gone someone placed one for him

-she says “your wishes will always be remembered by someone,” likely talking not just to Mikhail, but the audience

-Now Penacony has finally welcomed the dawn after the long dark night, even if the path ahead won’t be easy

-“Tiernan, you can now go home”

-the Nameless are also preparing for our next stop

-we say goodbye to the old Nameless, Gallagher and Acheron

-“in the Land of the Dreams, anything is indeed possible,” - March

-“History may not remember the names of the dead, but the stars will attest to their journeys, the first glimmer of light in the prolonged night often illuminates little, as it is fleeting and the darkness too vast. -“to all lies, and the singular truth,”- March

-she also asks him to not speak in riddles if they ever meet again

-we say bye to Micah, Welt apologizes for only now speaking to him, Welt asks what the people of Dreamflux Reef do now, many will continue to live there, and “those accustomed to being away will mostly have a hard time getting used to a life of darkness with their eyes closed,” Micah will also watch over the primal Memory Zone as the Order has faded

-“Penacony’s nights are long, and there are many who are still far from a good nights sleep,”

-they still manage without the Sweet Dream

-toast to the ppl in Dreamflux Reef and their tenacity

-we finally say goodbye to Mikhail, it started from the moment we met him and it ends by saying goodbye to him

-“just like a clock’s hands that turn round and round, the start and end of each day will always land on twelve o’clock- the advent of time moving forward,” - Himeko, it really is over isn’t it, honestly I wonder now is just what that dream pool and projector were for

-the entire adventure started bc of Mikhail and it’s ending because of him

-“And then, a new page will be turned.”

-“To Penacony’s past, present, future… and the child’s unwavering dream unto death,”- Himeko

—“the Trailblaze can illuminate the way, but ultimately, the future of a world belongs to those who live in it,” - Dan Heng, just like Belabog and the Luofu huh

-March has a strange feeling that she had a few stops ago that’s really strong this time, she talks about how many stories these three Nameless have experienced, and she compares them to the current Nameless and their own adventures, and that they lived the “every day” we do now

-but it’s all in the past, and TB says to her that we should live in the present, but that’s what March can’t get out of her mind

-she’s upset at that the Nameless then didn’t get their happy ending, but the TB now shouldn’t live through them, however since us (especially March) has witnessed their lives, their are special to us now, so she hopes their story gets a good ending when it comes

-but what if those Nameless and us now aren’t special, and we won’t get a good ending?

-if Mikhail might not have had no regrets, how can we know we won’t?

-“Then, what is this regret we feel in our hearts right now…?”

-Himeko assured that all of them are searching for the answer to this question, that against the backdrop of a cosmos, our lives are fleeting

-however, even if the universe doesn’t remember the never ending Trailblaze, but people, and those who travel along the silver rail themselves will

-we are using up fuel much faster than expected, and can only pull off two more warp jumps at most

-which means we must consider our next destination carefully

-the two worlds nearest to us are the oceanic planet of Lushaka and the Agate World Melustanin

-we still need to vote

-BLACK SWAN SHOWS UP

-Welts like ‘alright give us the juice’

-she overheard how the express obtains fuel

-her suggestion could be the lifeline that saves everyone

-if the express needs a special trailblazing expedition to recharge its engine, then they should go to a world that even Akivili never even reached, and the express will never have to worry about energy again

-however the trade is still up, and Jade is willing the wait for his answer

-she gives him a word of warning

Wow that was great

OK! I will definitely not be doing this again because oh my god this made the quest take like 10 hours (most of the time was just typing it tbh 😭) made it far less fun than it could have been, however it also really helped me understand what was going on a lot; and I’ll look back on this if I want to remember the plot in 2.3

Overall I think it’s a really satisfying conclusion for Penacony, and any of the things I thought were weird kinda dissipated because they are minor nitpicks at best, and we did say Penacony would have to figure itself out from here

if you somehow decided to read all of these, I admire your patience lmao, and I hope you enjoyed all of the parts in which I started absolutely losing it

I recommend you don’t do this lmao, it’s more fun to just play through and look at the wiki later imo, maybe take more overarching ones after you have already completed a scene? This was certainly a learning experience at least

“Charles Leclerc is a fucking asshole and I never wanna see him again,” I said as I got into the car. I took a deep breath and wiped my tears.

“Why? What happened?” Steph asked, “Are you okay? What did he do? Do we kill him?”

I looked at her and told her what happened.

He told me to talk in the living room to talk. He was pretty chill.

“So…” I started, “Um… I’m just gonna be straightforward with you,” I see him nod, I took a deep breath and said, “I’m pregnant.”

He started at me for a second and said, “Really? Congrats! I didn’t know you were with someone already! You could’ve just told me this on the phone,” he laughed, “You didn’t have to come all the way here to tell me that. Good for you!”

What?

“No, Charles. I’m pregnant… with your child.” His smile slowly faded away.

“Nope, I don’t think so.”

“What? What do you mean ‘you don’t think so’?” I asked him.

He got up from his sofa and started pacing around the room, “Question. Do you know who I am?”

He stopped pacing and said, “Yup. Not mine.”

“But it is!” I told him.

“No,” He said again, this time more aggressive, “And do you know how I know this? Because why else would you come here to tell me this four days before the race? Either someone put you up for this, to mess me up or you are a con artist. So which one is it?”

“You don’t know what you’re talking about!” I shamed my head.

“I don’t? Please, you are not the first one that has tried this trick on me. I don’t even remember your name!” he yelled, “And even if it’s true, what do you want me to do? You want me to love you? To marry you? I would never marry someone like you! How even old are you?”

“I’m eighteen…” I murmured.

I lifted my hoodie, showing my baby bump, and his eyes widen a bit. “We had sex on March, you would be at least two months along”

“Eleven weeks,” I corrected him.

“Eleven weeks, right? You look bigger than eleven weeks. You probably got pregnant before me and you’re trying to baby-trap me!” He yelled. But he was right, I’ve seen pictures online of women being eleven weeks pregnant, and I am bigger than them.

“No, that’s not true at all! Charles, you were my first time!”

“Wow,” he said in a sarcastic way, “Lucky me. Do you think I’m going to believe any of this? Do you think I’m that stupid?”

“So this asshole basically called you a baby-trapper, manipulator, gold digger, whore?” Steph was mad, and she had every right to be.

I stayed quiet for a second, technically he did, but he didn't use those exact words.

“Steph, let’s just go home”

April 2023

“Mateo come here so I can put sunscreen on you!” My kid dropped his little toy and came to me, “We’re going to go to the bookstore and then get some ice cream. Does that sound good, Mati?”

“Yummy!” he yelled.

After I was done applying sunscreen he started to jump around the apartment yelling “Ice cream! Ice cream.”

“Okay Mateo Alexander, let’s go”

The car rides with Mateo are always fun. He points at all the cars he sees or sings whatever is on the radio — he doesn’t know the songs but he likes to pretend he does.

Once we got to the bookstore, I got him out of the child seat and walked into the store with him in my arms. I approached the register and greeted Steph.

“Pascale is here,” she said. “She finally came with her two sons, I didn’t see their faces though.”

I rolled my eyes, “I’m going to check the store, keep an eye on Mateo, and don’t give him candy,” I warned her, she put her hands up in defense, “We’re getting ice cream later and you know how he gets if he has too much sugar in his system.”

Mateo yelled, “Ice cream!”

I laughed a bit as I was leaving. As I walked around the store, I helped a few customers here and there.

I was organizing a shelf when I heard my name. “Y/n?” My heart dropped to the floor. I turned around but I saw no one. Am I hallucinating or did I hear the voice of Charles Leclerc in my store, calling my name? “Oh sorry, I thought you were someone I know.” The voice came from the other side of the bookshelf.

I speed walked to another section of the store as I was texting Steph “Code Red, you know who is here. Get Mateo.” As I hit send, my body collided with someone else’s. The person grabbed me by the arms so I wouldn’t fall back.

“Wow!” The male voice said. “What’s the rush? Are you okay?” The first thing that I noticed was his blue eyes and then his thin lips.

“I’m so sorry,” I apologized. “I would’ve seen where I was going,”

“It’s all good,” he said. “More than good.” He let go of me.

We stayed quiet for a quick second, “I’m sorry to be so straightforward but you are very beautiful, like breathtaking beautiful.”

“I’m Arthur, by the way,” he extended his hand towards me. I took it.

“Y/n,” I introduced myself.

“Y/n,” he repeated. “Do you work here, Y/n? So I know if I should come back again,” he laughed.

“I own this store,” I told him. “I’m usually here on the weekends,” As I said that, my phone beeped

Steph - I can’t find Mateo.

“Umm… It was nice to meet you Arthur but I have some stuff to take care of,” I said as I walked away.

“Wait! Can I get your number?” He yelled a bit.

“Come back next week and we should see!” I waved goodbye. What’s wrong with me? I need to find Mateo and get out of here before He sees him.

Charles POV

“It’s so nice to spend the day with my two boys, you guys are always so busy”

“Yeah, too bad Enzo couldn’t be here,” Arthur said.

“It’s fine, he’ll come next time,” Maman said.

Maman decided to take Arthur and me to her new favorite bookstore because “we needed to go there” I opened the door for her.

“What a gentleman, thank you, Charles,” She said.

“Yeah, thank you Charles” Arthur mimicked her.

The bookstore had a whole different vibe from the inside, it was like stepping into a new world. We were greeted by a Taylor Swift song that surprisingly I recognized. I Knew You Were Trouble.

“You guys go walk around, I’m going to the café,” Maman said, as Arthur and I were walking away, she spoke again. “soy Charles, don’t go too far. You have to meet this girl, she’s so sweet and she has this kid who is a literal angel. He reminds me of you actually. A lot.” With that, she walked away. I looked at Arthur, who only shrugged.

As I walked around the shelves I saw a very familiar figure.

Is that…? “Y/n?” The lady turned around. It was someone else. Something in my heart wanted to be Y/n. “Oh sorry,” I apologized. “I thought you were someone I know”

The lady left and soon after a small kid walked by, he was looking from side to side.

“Are you lost?” I asked him. He stopped walking and turned around. I held my breath for a second.

“No,” he said. “My mommy works here.” He turned around and was about to leave, but I didn’t want him to leave.

“What’s your name?” I asked him.

“I’m Mateo with one T,” he put one finger up. “What’s- umm” he took a long pause for a second. “You?”

I laughed a bit. “I’m Charles.”

A big beep sounded and then the music at the store stopped.

“Mati come to the front please.”

“That’s me,” the kid said and then he left running. He stopped for a second and came back walking. “Goodbye.” He gave me a tiny wave and left walking again.

I felt my phone vibrate and when I took it out I saw a new message from Arthur

King Arthur: I think I just met the love of my life 🥴❤️

Me: 🤣🤣 in what? five minutes?

King Arthur: Sometimes you look at someone and you just know, brother.

Me: I know you are crazy 🤣🤣

so! this IS the nightmare scenario for marc. like he is absolutely the loneliest little girl at the school dance. no alex no friends everyone’s italian he’s surrounded by competitors all of whom don’t fuck with him ANDDDD vale’s there with uccio pretending he doesn’t exist (shooting little glances at marc from across the room when he isn’t looking. hyper aware of where he is at all times.) it’s like one of those dreams where you try to wake urself up bc it’s a HORROR MOVIE but he can’t. alone at the bar kinda night. i think we stare down two scenarios here. if he isn’t allowed to leave lmao. ONE! bezz takes sweet loverboy pity on him (alsooo feels weird about pecco’s wedding as he said on that podcast. he’s not elegant he IS single and he does i think lowkey feel the chapter of his life where he’s hanging out as a bachelor with his fun bestie is over. like okay jo march 👍) and decides to take (HIGHLY suspicious but would never show it) marc under his wing not unlike say. rescuing an undersocialized pit bull puppy in need of a home. sticks with marc most of the night once he realizes marc has NOBODY. gets him a lil drunk. tries to make him laugh. throws it back on the dancefloor. maybeeee thinks about kissing him at the end of the night but instead they end up talking about vale. somehow. after that they aren’t friend but marc will call him bezz and fist bump him occasionally. neither of them notice valentino’s WHITE HOT stare on the back of their necks after that lmao

SCENARIO TWO.

YESSS BC THIS !! This will be my new big project 🫡🫡🫡🫡

Basically, it was bc I saw a TikTok (ofc) back in early march, about these “pleasure cruises” ish. An adult cruise, which is typically called a swingers cruise, which isn’t necessarily what it is - but it is a cruise where public sex is permitted certain rooms and generally a lot of kinky people go. As fair as I’ve understood. I’ve never been, so I don’t know exactly what it’s like, but I’ve looked through some of the cruises websites and watches some videos - and though the websites keep it vague, it’s just… kinda what that is, a sex cruise low-key lol. With a lot of rules ofc.

SO I basically thought: what if Gaz and his partner, reader (maybe married idk) basically goes on a cruise like that and meets most of the other cod characters lmao.

I wrote this summary (bc I tend to write summaries down first)

Your boyfriend of several years, Kyle ‘Gaz’ Garrick, suggests going on a life-style cruise, a so-called ‘swingers cruise’, to which you agree, and a couple of months later, the two of you go. On the cruise you meet several different people that you have a great time with - but in particular a throuple, John Price, ‘Soap’ and ‘Ghost’, catched both of yours and Gaz’s attention.

Basically, I will just freestyle the entire cruise ship part bc fuck reality🫡

But like, Gaz who sheepishly suggests it to reader and immediately retracts bc he is afraid reader doesn’t want to - but you do and when they go, they’re both a lil awkward at first, but they just experience more and more kinky stuff.

alright, so...

i'm gonna be honest since i found @bugbytez13 's blog welt sickfic ideas don't want to leave my head LMAO except i will write a detailed description of a fic instead of the fic itself. that's it that's the post

tbh this ramble in particular could be made into two separate fanfics (one sickfic and one specifically about the nightmares) but shh

i will forever be self conscious or anxious about things i post that aren't just headcanons or silly little rambles, but also... writing this went surprisingly smoothly so! enjoy the essay or something idk HAHA

so, about welt...

i just know this man is going to force himself to stay awake. maybe his self-sacrificing issues are less present now, and he doesn't immediately throw himself in danger in every fight ever, but he's still stubborn as hell. so he won't admit something is wrong. he won't admit that maybe getting way too little sleep several days in a row wasn't doing wonders for his immune system and he's now finally feeling the consequences. to be fair, he expected it might end like this, but he didn't want to take breaks - there's still too many things to take care of before they finally head to penacony. and now, he will still insist of taking care of everything, even though his body is basically begging him to go take a nap.

except maybe, he didn't even expect it to get this bad. or thought that he can just power through it. i mean, he's been through much worse, right? this is nothing compared to literally losing his body for some time. but he's sitting in the parlor car, and he's half awake, and unusually cold, and his head is hurting, and keeping up the act is getting harder and harder - but he has to, because the younger members of the crew are here too, even if only march is talking to him.

but they pick up on the fact that something is wrong, of course they do. his eyes are unfocused, he looks like he's about to fall asleep - or pass out - and march had to repeat herself twice for him to even fully process what she was asking him, and so suddenly stelle is next to him, attempting to touch his forehead - and he recoils. "i'm fine," he says, and it's probably a bit too quick and a bit too firm than he'd like it to be, and all of this is stupid, really, because he shouldn't be scared of someone touching him. how hot can it really be anyway if he's feeling so cold, right? but if that wasn't enough dan heng asks an even more dreaded question, "are you sure, mr yang? do you want us to call himeko?" and welt decides it's time to excuse himself, before he makes them even more worried. because even in his present state, he can pick up on the fact they're concerned, but at the same time unsure of what to do, and it makes him feel guilty. of course they're unsure; he's usually their caretaker, and he always knows what to do, and it should never be the other way around. he should've just stayed in his room all day, shouldn't he.

"thank you all for your concern, but i'm alright." he stands up. "now, please excuse me, i still have some work to do." of course that's true, but he's almost certain he won't be able to focus on that- but he just needs an excuse to get out from here and be left alone anyway.

but stelle is right next to him, and looking determined to accompany him to his room, too. "you look like you're about to fall, mr yang," they explain, and he wants to insist that he's okay once again, but realizes he's too tired to do so. it would take him at least a few minutes, and it's a few minutes he doesn't have nearly enough energy for. he just wants to finally lie down. so, he lets stelle essentially escort him into the hallway and to his bedroom, and make sure he doesn't collapse on his way there, and-- it's embarassing, honestly, because it's already so difficult for him to show himeko the slightest hints that something might be wrong, and right now the situation is similar but ten times worse - so it's also ten times harder for him to come to terms with the fact he needs to rely on someone.

"my... apologies for making you all worry," he says quietly when they reach his room, and he's so thankful that he left the lights off, because the parlor car was way too bright, and though the hallway was a bit better, it still wasn't good.

"it's alright," stelle shakes her head, and stands there in the doorway, even as he heads towards his bed and sits down. "i'll ask himeko to check up on you in a bit?" she asks, and he only nods, though he isn't sure if she can actually see it. he doesn't want to talk anymore, he doesn't want to think because even just that seems to make his headache worse, he just wants stelle to leave, he just wants to sleep-- he isn't even sure if he understood her question correctly, but he also doesn't have the energy to care. he falls asleep the moment the door closes behind her, fully clothed and half covered with a thick blanket, but even then he isn't allowed a peaceful rest.

memories from old battles flash before his eyes, silhouettes of enemies he once fought, those against whom he won - but also of those who severly injured or even killed him, and with that come the memories of the pain

and the fear of losing his body again.

when he finally awakens, sweating, shaky for reasons other than his fever, and still feeling pretty awful, it takes him longer than usual to remember where he is. it takes him longer than usual to remember that he's safe.

but now there's medicine and a thermometer on his nightstand, and a note written in himeko's neat handwriting - though he actually spots and reads it some time later - telling him to rest as much as he needs to, because she'll take care of everything; and only after he does read it and feels a sense of relief come over him, he realizes how much the thought of having to leave all the work in order to take a break actually stressed him out. he still feels bad about it, because of course he does, and of course he's going to apologize to everyone later.

but he's also able to sleep more peacefully now.

May 2023

band: the whole eurovision journey from befriending all the contestants to Bojan's date and eventual engagement with Käärijä to the band giving condoms to everyone and their mom to the rehearsals to the iconic turqoise carpet to the Käärijä sauna to the voting promo to the qualification to the finals to Bojan licking the camera and to Joker Out becoming pretty much esc legends despite finishing 21st in the final. the beginning of everything, absolutely chaotic but i wouldn't imagine it any other way

fandom: the formation this sounds cliche yes but i was here since April 2023 and it was... very silent. the non-esc related jo stuff were limited and people were still discovering them so yeah i was sitting here hoping that after esc people would stick around so we can scream together about the band as a band and not only as esc contestants. and thankfully people did that and here we are now 🥹

June 2023

band: first international gigs the gigs in Dublin are one thing but then came the announcements of the Nordic tour, the Warsaw gigs, the headline gigs in Novi Sad and Zagreb... honourable mention to Stožice going sold out

fandom: Tavastia 1.0 there's absolutely no way i will even forget how the jo, ka and esc fandoms had a collective meltdown when Bojan casually showed up in Helsinki and then joined Käärijä on stage on both his Tavastia gigs (mind you both as a singer and as a dancer lmao). no wonder why this moment still has a chokehold on all of us. 9th of June 2023, you will always be famous

July 2023

band: the appearance of Demoni scream i know that festivals and the first UK run were important and gave us some iconic moments too (like some slay outfits and Jan's sparklative confusion), but the damn Demoni scream is so dear to me it kinda tops it all. it's so good to see how Bojan embraced it after that first time (2/7/23 in Škofja Loka) and now there can't be Demoni without the scream/growl/whatever you wanna call it

fandom: the Jance wedding on stage iirc the Jance brainrot had started spawning before 29/7 but that Saturday night was the cherry on top. so glad we got to experience this live as well since there was a livestream going on that night and we saw Jan putting the veil on Nace himself <3

August 2023

band: the Koper gig i wasn't even there okay but judging from the content and people's comments on it, it was probably one of the most iconic jo gigs. also my favourite jo video in existence is coming from that night (here) side note: i've been to Slovenia once in my life, 11 years ago, and funnily enough we were staying in Koper and i recognised the place they had the concert. anyway, visit Slovenia and Koper, it's a very nice small seaside town and it's worth the visit <3

fandom: the collective screaming about things to be completely honest i don't remember much from that month in terms of fandom, but i kinda remember how most of us had started diving into the band's past more and more and “new” old content was posted almost every day. videos, photos, gifs, interviews, the amazing @jokeroutsubs translating more old content...

September 2023

band: Nordic tour i won't even start talking about this because you'll never hear the end of it. we all know what the Nordic tour was. even the release of SSOL, the first single after esc, can't top this whole thing, sorry

fandom: google drive content and *shocked gasp* Nordic tour another collective meltdown for the fandom. first being bombarder with backstage videos on a damn google drive folder (that ended up being a frequent occurence in the following months) to the whole run of the Nordic tour. do i need to say more? i feel like i can't. only this: Nordic tour, you will always be famous

October 2023

band: Stožice not much to say here either. they sold out a whole arena months prior to the actual concert date. it was their moment. a milestone (probably their biggest to date). and it was amazing to witness this in any possible way, whether it was by attending the concert or watching an ig livestream or keeping track of the photos and videos of that night

fandom: Stožice and Halloween outfits the chokehold both the Stožice and the Halloween (aka pilots and flight attendands) outfits had on the whole fandom... also love how we collectively agreed that Kris' Stožice outfit was his version of Princess Diana's revenge dress and how the Halloween outfits sent the fandom into a spiral in means of creations (fanart, fanfics etc)

November 2023

band: the whole touring well they did have a number of gigs during November and they seemed to be having so much fun 🥰 so much that at the end of November they announced their first proper european tour

fandom: collective screaming about things once again i mean all the gigs were feeding us well. the outfits alternating or not, Jance/Bokris moments, Bonace getting more spotlight (Bojan was and still is going through something during Demoni and Ona like wtf was he doing to Nace was it the serbian lyrics waking up something wild in him 😭😭😭). there was a lot going on back in November… honourable mentions: this Bokris moment, cvjetits (x x) and Kris riding Jure

December 2023

band: the whole Munich experience there's a good chance jo don't remember their whole stay in Munich for the first time as one of the best ones ever, especially if they think about the 1,5k euro taxi they paid as part of making it to The Hague in time for the next gig. but if anything, i feel like this captures their whole vibe as a band; ✨purely chaotic✨

fandom: european tour vlog and Bojan with the bi flag we waited for a long time for a Nordic tour vlog. maybe we didn't get it as an individual video but even as part of the whole tour vlog it was great and definitely worth the wait. also it was a great xmas gift let's be real 😌 now Bojan with the bi flag was probably not a very huge fandom moment and my bi ass may be biased here (this rhymed lol), but seeing him wrap himself with the bi flag followed by that speech before Barve Oceana in Barcelona will always be such a precious moment to me and i'll cherish it forever 💖 note: when i saw them last month in Munich i immediately started crying when i heard the first notes of Barve Oceana live; not only because i love the song and i finally heard it live, but also because i instantly thought of that moment of Bojan with the bi flag and the speech)

January 2024

band: Joker Out cooking livestreams London era my beloved (i never thought i'd say this about a city in the UK out of all places). their whole stay in London was an Experience both for the band and the fandom but well they got their chance to show the world they can cook besides playing music and they did. now let's not get into the kind of cooking they did, but the livestreams were very entertaining and bless them for doing them 😅

fandom: death by Damon Baker's photos yeah no i don't think i need to say more here, i'm still not over those photoshoots and i still can't quite believe they actually happened. like?????????? jo???? photographed individually or not by Damon fucking Baker???? ugh 😫 on that note i want to add that i loved and still love how those photos sparked the creativity in this fandom. from analyses of each photo to fanfics to fanart to creating anything in general. one of my favourite moments of the fandom <3

February 2024

band: release of Everybody's Waiting the whole road to the release of this single was Something with the band continuing the usual shenanigans and with Damon still releasing unseen photos of them. the release of it may have gotten us divided because of its language or the path they chose to take music-wise (it's not everyone's cup of tea and that's more than fine), but personally i like this for them. it's different, it showed a different side of them which they wanted to explored; they got a chances to do it and they did it. and you know what? it's so good live

March 2024

band: Jan and Bojan playing the piano at every gig of the tour i could've said the whole tour is my favourite thing from this March and it's not like it's not, this is a big moment for the band. it's just that once again i'm a bit biased here. many people, my pianist ass included, wished there would be a piano or some keyboard on stage during the tour because come on if Jan plays the keys for Everybody's Waiting studio version then why not do it live too? and you know what's better? not only there was a piano on stage for the whole tour, but not only Jan but also Bojan played it. however, Bojan playing it for Everybody's Waiting and Jan playing it for Padam, Metulji and the cases where they had special guests (like in Estonia with Alika, Lithuania with Monika and Belgium with Gustaph)... those were not on my bingo card and they were the most pleasant surprise ever 😌

fandom: meeting each other at the gigs when the tour started and even though i knew i would go to at least two gigs, i was extremely nervous because this meant i'd probably come across other fans from here and social media in general. as a person with anxiety, one of my worries was how i'd be perceived and how i'd manage to not come across as a snob person because i'm shy and scared to talk to people i don't know. as the tour went on and i saw people meeting each other irl after only knowing each other via tumblr/twitter/instagram, i got more nervous but also had a warm feeling in my chest because seeing people meet, bond over things they like and have fun at gigs together is actually very wholesome 🫶 i hoped i would get to experience this too at the italian gigs but i was still nervous. and then, around the middle of March, i made the spontaneous decision to do the Munich gig too, but instead of getting even more nervous i just got myself on autopilot. and i'm glad i did because if i hadn't i wouldn't have met some of you neither in Munich nor in Milan or Padua. i wouldn't get to trade stuff and joke about things and talk about fandom stuff or even about fanfics lmao 😂 anyway, point is that i most probably was worried about nothing. i got to meet so many people at the gigs and i had so much fun despite the inconveniences that may had showed up in the way (i don't wanna talk about it tbh) and everyone was so welcome and lovely i'll never shut up about it 😭 also i’m taking this opportunity to say that if we attended the same gigs but didn't get to meet, i'm so sorry about it really but we will do it at some point i'm telling you! and i also wish i get to meet more of you from in here so we can yap about things outside of tumblr too. btw i still have stickers to give away and i will make more whenever the time comes again <3

i’m almost finished with all of the sketches for the comic and so i humbly offer you: a frame of sleeping alex.

i’ve got 6/11 pages that are entirely finished with the sketching process and i’ve got only two more to do (that don’t need any touch ups or anything). silently celebrating but unfortunately, i bring more notes below the cut

-the comic is partially set in a different time period. when? i don’t know. don’t ask me (dear god please don’t ask me). i’ve taken design inspiration from several different centuries. all you need to know is that it’s set during a time where they still publicly executed people for revolting against the church. could’ve been as long ago as the 12th century, or it could’ve been as soon as the 1800’s, idfk.

-it will obviously be in a slightly different art style than you’re used to seeing on my posts. i don’t think i have it in me to draw 32 frames in that art style without any references. i just can’t do it, but ^here’s a little tasty taste of what its gonna look like^ however, it honestly might not end up looking any different at all when everything’s said and done. that is a real possibility.

-i’ve almost got it figured out concerning how i’m going to post it, however, that means that the full comic (nsfw and all) will be posted first and the censored version will come later or even on a different social media. i won’t be censoring any of the gore though. if you’ve seen the movie, you’ll be fine lmao.

anyway, now i’m just gonna ramble because i’ve been locked away in my room and drawing relentlessly for the last six days. i’m in a dark place. it’s relatively lonely. there are scratch marks on my walls and i don’t know who put them there.

as i keep working on this, i keep finding like 12 different ways to bring this to life that i wish i would’ve gone with rather than what i did. it’s quite troubling but onward we march, fellas. so don’t be surprised if i end up posting a second issue. (i’ve already started writing it [why do i do this to myself??]) i’m literally writing this because i strongly believe in creating the content that you wish to consume. that’s why i have five accounts dedicated to this fuckass movie. i still don’t have a fuCKING NAME FOR THE COMIC ITSELF THOUGH. OH MY GAAD. why is this literally the hardest part?? throw me literally any suggestions you have. like, okay, if YOU were to name like minds, what would you call it? because i’m about to just go with one of the other obscure names for the film that greg picked out.

They’re all gods or god-adjacent. Everyone talks about how they are making them not all gods, but fuck that man I find this fun.

They all reach their godhood in different ways, though. and godhood is something that is... complicated. fluid, even.

i'm just gonna talk about Shad (Judgement, in LR) and Irene, tho, bc otherwise this post would be mega fucking long. and i'm pretty sure i have a Kul'Zak ask anyways.

Y'know how people say 'the world is your oyster'? Well, the world is shad's egg. literally. He's the Draconic God of Death, and his entity was created in the belly (centre) of the earth, in heat and warmth and magma. He clawed his way out of the world, and this lore is mentioned in the prologue of LR, but his emergence from the core of the earth caused the earth to bunch up, and created mountains and valleys, and ravines. similarly to dropping a pebble into water, his emergence caused literal ripples. which is why most mountains and such are kind of in a radial pattern outwards from the 'belly of the world', which is just a huge fuck-off ravine. That said, not all mountains, because it's been thousands/millions of years since his emergence, and things do change. He was created as a god, before anyone knew what gods were. He was not the first being to exist, Early humans were around to witness his birth, but he is by far one of the most ancient. Hence why his followers call him 'the Ancient'.

Irene was born a god, though she was birthed by human parents. It's a whole situation, really, very lengthy. More about her mother than it really is about Irene. But she was born during the emergence. Her head crowned as Shad's emerged from the earth, and when he had fully freed himself and laid upon the cool ground, Irene was put into her mother's arms. Her and Shad are perfectly the same age, born at the same exact moment, to balance each other out. It's unclear which one sparked the creation of the other, but it doesn't matter. Both were born bloody and screaming, made to match. Irene was, however, not born looking human. She was a creature from day one. And she was ugly asf too bc like, she's feathered in her creature form, and have you ever seen fresh baby birds? Them mfers ugly. So, reasonably, her parents' people went 'aa' and decided to sacrifice her to the juvenile god of death bc they have volcanoes now, they can do that. However, Irene's mother was fiercely over-protective of her, and instead hid her in the woods to keep her out of the grasps of those wishing to harm her. She meant to go back and get her, so that she could find somewhere safe for her, but Irene's mother kind of got caesar'd (happy ides of march for two days ago), for trying to keep the fucked up little thing she birthed. Her body was dumped into the forest, and Irene ended up finding it and going 'oh a snack'. so... that's fun. However, as is how blood magic works, when one of magic consumes the heart of another, they consume their entirety. It was how Irene claimed a human form, by eating a human heart, and whilst it wasn't particularly an instantaneous transformation, it also lead to her becoming a mother. If not for eating her own mother's heart, she never would've had the maternal traits that ending up characterising her for most of her existence.

Pt.2

I plan in making these chapters shorter, because it's gonna be a longer series. Sorry yall I really don't wanna burn myself out again, especially since I've got multiple fandoms fighting over my last surviving brain cell. 😭

You paced into your dad's office and plopped into the chair across from his and threw your feet up on the table.

"You alright baby girl?" Your Dad asks as he looks up at you.

"I'm exhausted." You admit to him slightly defeated.

"I understand but think about it. After the newbies get their safety briefing you can go back to your bunk and go to sleep. It's only a few more hours sweet pea." Your Dad said with a soft smile reserved just for you.

"I've been awake for 24 hours because Wainfleet didn't want to do his part in getting everything ready for the newcomers." You complained and your dad's back went rigid.

"I gave him orders those were his to follow through with. I'm sorry, baby girl, but you're gonna have to wait until after. Then you can go to bed." Your Dad said then patted your foot. "Get your feet off my desk. How many times do I gotta tell ya?" He jokes as the both of you stand up to head to the mess hall. Zhang jogs up to the two of you and turns to face your Dad.

"I'm sorry sir, but Wainfleet is requesting (Y/n)'s help out on the tarmac." Zhang says and you groan. You turn and make your way to the airlock and grumble all the way out to where Lyle is.

"What the fuck do you want now Wainfleet?" You ask angrily.

"One of the patrols is late reporting in." Lyle tells you.

"Okay. You realize we're the same rank and you could be useful for once and check it out yourself." You say and he shakes his head.

"I've got to be at the safety briefing with the Colonel." He says and you scoff.

"Yeah so do I." You say agitated while you stomp back into the base but you make your way up the control center stairs instead. Once back inside you throw off the exo-pack and march over to the com systems. You find the bird thats late and call it.

"Chacon... Where in the name of everything holy are you?" You ask.

"Sorry, Corporal, Augustine and McCall got caught up collecting samples." She responds.

"Look, as much as I love those two you need to get your asses back asap. You're late and in doing so I'm late." You say as calmly as possible.

"Ma'am I can report them back in when they return." The woman you're bent over says.

"Alright. Thank you." You say and look at the name on her uniform.

"Chacon, Hayward is going to report you back in when you return. I gotta go." You say and don't even wait for a reply as you walk away. You enter the mess hall, clearly agitated but trying to stay calm. However, wheelchair man decided it would be a good idea to just stay in the middle of the walkway. You sigh quietly and step up onto the bench and then the table just to step down on the other side. Your dad lights up when he spots you.

"This is my righthand woman, Corporal Quaritch. You can't find me, find her. Except for the next 24 hours, she'll be asleep." You look at wheelchair man and realize you startled him, but can't bring yourself to care right now. You went to follow behind your dad but made eye contact with a new scientist. Your breath silently hitched and he blushed. You hardened the look on your face into a glare and moved on. You got up to the front and leaned against the window seal. The same scientist from before makes eye contact with you again, but this time you decide to play since you're no longer the center of attention. You wink at him and he blushes again.

'Oh yeah, definitely my type.' You think to yourself as you continue to look around the new people. Your dad wrapped things up and you made your leave. You decided to check up on Grace before you went to sleep since you were her usual off-base escort. When you got there she was still in her pod so you took to her desk and sat in her chair to wait. With the new guys in she would be exiting her pod any minute now. You pulled your cap over your eyes and threw your feet up on her desk. You dozed off in a matter of a few moments but were rudely woken by someone shoving your feet off their perch. You groaned as you sat up and allowed your cap to fall into your hands.

"Good to see you too, Grace." You said jokingly, but you were met with a very angry expression. "Did... Did I ruin some documents or... What did I do?" You asked her.

"You didn't do anything." She said exasperated. "Look. I need you to keep an eye on Sully."

"Who?" You asked in confusion.

"The guy in the wheelchair. He's one of my new avatar drivers." She says and you become more confused.

"But... That guy is definitely a jarhead." You say as you steal a glance at him.

"The other one is cute though." You sit back and Grace looks at you astounded.

"Someone gaining your attention? Unheard of." She says with a laugh.

"Yeah I know right? I don't know how he did it, but he's got my attention. 100%." You say as you steal another glance only to find him already looking at you. You wink at him again and he quickly looks away.

"Seems you've got his attention too." Grace says with a laugh.

"How long was I asleep?" You ask her.

"About an hour. I let you get a nap in before I sent you back to your room." Grace tells you and you lean your chin on your hand. "I went to have a chat with Slefridge. I'm not happy that we got this Sully. We need his brother. The PhD that trained for 3 years for this job."

"Well, why did he back out last minute? There might've been a good reason." You say and a tap on your shoulder makes you freeze. You slowly turn to look at the person behind you and find Sully and the cute guy.

"He died." Sully said and you cringed.

"I'm sorry. I didn't mean to be rude." You said and he shook his head.

"You weren't. We were wondering if someone could show us to our bunks?" Sully asks and I stand up.

"Let me see your room numbers." You say holding out your hand and he hands it to you. "Heh, would ya look at that. You two are right down the hall from me. Come on. I'll see you tomorrow Grace. I look forward to seeing them link for the first time." She waves as she takes the seat you just vacated.

"I wanted to say thanks for not treating me differently just because I'm paralyzed." Sully says and you huff out of your nose.

"My dad was a marine, but according to him, once a marine always a marine. Oorah or whatever." You say and he chuckles.

"Never went into the military?" He asks with a chuckle.

"Nope. Dad wanted me to get my GED at 16 so I could ship out here." You tell him and he looks at you confused.

"If he wasn't watching over you, then who was?" He asks and you scoffed.

"My mother... But I prefer to call that woman my surrogate. She never really learned that once you're a parent you focus on your child's well-being. Instead, she collected the child support my Dad was sending and spent it on her stuff. The RDA was nice enough to allow me to start working for them early. Course back then it was simple tasks. Train, learn, and run things back and forth for Selfridge. Guy took a liking to me and started helping me further my "career"." You tell them then blinked. "Woah. Sorry man didn't mean to info dump."

"It's all good. You seem cool to hangout around." Sully says.

"You too Sully." You say and he laughs.

"You can call me Jake. This is Norm." He introduces cute guy.

"So that's your name. Yeah, you caught my attention earlier." You say without thought of making him feel awkward.

"R-really?" He asks.

"Oh yeah. I like men with a brain." You say as you turn the corner and see Lyle standing at your door down the hall.

"C'mon (Y/n) I know you're in there. Stop ignoring me." He calls and you cough. He turns to look at you then scratches his neck. "Hey (Y/n). What, uh, what are you up to?"

"Showing Jake and Norm to their bunk so I can go to sleep." You say with an edge and he groans.

"(Y/n)-" Lyle starts but you roll your eyes.

"Didn't my Dad give you orders to follow through with? I think you should go do that." You say and he walks away. Once he's out of earshot you turn to the two guys. "That guy? Has one brain cell and it's currently fighting a losing war to steroids." You joke and Jake busts out laughing with Norm chuckling quietly. "This is you guys. If you need anything I'm right down there."

"So we gathered." Jake jokes and you walk away chuckling.

"I'm gonna get some rack. I suggest you do that too." You tell them and then disappear into your room. You quickly shower and dress for sleep and lay down. You fall asleep as soon as your head hits the pillow.

The next day you're happily making your way to the link room and find Max and Grace.

"Hey, you got here just in time. They just went in and it seems lover boy has taken to his avatar well." Grace says. "You want to join me?" Grace asks.

"I don't know. You know my dad doesn't like me hanging around you "science pukes"." You quote him and she scoffs.

"You're 22 (Y/n). You can do what you want." She says and you shuck off your jacket. She smiles and pats the pod next to hers. "We're going in."

"How much you wanna bet that Jake's gonna take off?" You ask her and she glares at you.

"$20 that he doesn't." She says and you laugh.

"$20 that he does." You counter and she shakes her head. You lay down in the link pod and close your eyes. You sit up in your avatar and giggle as you change your clothes. Grace meets you outside of the cabin and you see a blur of blue and white charging toward the two of you. "You owe me $20 Grace." You chuckle and she laughs as she picks a fruit. You pick one too and start eating it.

"Hey marine!" Grace calls out. Jake looks up and seems star struck.

"Grace?" He asks.

"Who else numbnuts?" She asks laughing. "Think fast!" She throws the fruit to him and he catches it. "Motor controls looking good." He bites into the fruit and looks at it astonished.

"They're good aren't they?" You ask him and his eyes snap over to you.

"(Y/n)?" He asks and you roll your eyes.

"Well duh." You say and Grace pinches your arm.

"I thought only scientists had avatars?" He asks.

"Well I'm a special case. Did I forget to tell you that I'm going to college for Pandoran botany and Grace is basically my teacher?" You smirk and he chuckles. The patter of feet behind Jake and a voice.

"Jake! Geez we're not supposed to be- Oh hey Grace!" He says with a wave and he notices you. "(Y/n)?" He says as he looks you up and down.

"In the flesh." You say and Jake elbows him and wiggles his eyebrows. His cheeks dust indigo and he clears his throat.

"So no shoes huh?" He says and you laugh.

"Smooth recovery, Spellman. No shoes. It's the way Na'vi travel, so it's how I travel." You say and he nods. Grace nudges you.

"That's a lie. She likes to feel the dirt between her toes. Reminds her of home." Grace says with a smile and you scoffed.

"Okay yeah that might be it." You say and cross your arms. "Don't they have tests to take or somethin'?" You ask annoyed and Grace leads them to the course.

As eclipse fell on Pandora you laid down in your cot and shut your eyes. When you opened the lid of your pod you were met by your dad's face.

"Hey Dad." You greet him but he scoffs.

"You know how I feel about you hanging around these lab coats." Your Dad says and you sigh.

"I'm literally Grace's student. I'm going to be one of these lab coats one day." You tell him and he sighs.

"I'm sorry. You missed dinner." He says and your shoulders sag.

"Sorry Dad, but Jake kept getting distracted by his tail. I had to teach him how to control it." You laugh as Jake hauls himself out of his pod.

"You'd find it weird too if you had a random tuft of fur keep smacking your arms." Jake complains and you laugh at him.

"Been there, and I got over it." You say as you get up fully.

"Baby girl I saved us a couple of plates so we can eat together like usual." Your Dad says and you nod.

"Thanks Dad." You walk out with him. When you sit down with him to eat he looks up at you.

"Somethin' tells me that there's somethin' goin' on between you an' Sully." Your Dad says and you cringe.

"You know I like my men to have a brain. It's why I refuse to go out with Lyle." You say and he laughs.

"Yeah. I forget you don't want to end up like your ma." He says as he fiddles with his food.

"Yeah, no. I don't want to end up like my pa' more like. That woman has no brain. I don't know what you saw in her." You said and he laughed.

"She was pretty and showed interest." He laughed and you rolled your eyes.

"Gross. If you must know Norm has my attention. He's so easily flustered and he's tall and he's really smart." You say as you blush and look away from your Dad.

"I'm not ready." He says and you roll your eyes.

"Dad. I'm 22." You say and he sighs.

"You're my baby." He says and you laugh.

"Dad... I've been thinking." You say and he sets up straight.

"Uh oh. Thats dangerous." He says with a laugh.

"Ha ha. You've been supporting me my whole life. I need to establish my own career because I need to be independent. It's a hard pill to swallow, but I won't have you forever." You say and he reaches across the table and takes hold of your free hand.

"Kiddo. I know it's been rough going, but I'm gonna be here for as long as I can be. I gotta be able to meet any grandbabies you might give me." He says.

"Grandbabies won't happen if you won't let me be an adult and find a man." You post out and he groans.

"I know. Well kid you've got a busy day tomorrow and so do I. Let's get some rack. Love you baby girl." He says as he lands a peck on the top of your head.

"Love you too Dad." You say as you make it back to your room. You shower and dress for bed and then lay down and sleep takes you over.

You had woken up early and gotten to the link room to connect to your avatar. Helping Trudy load her Samson was always easier this way. As you walked into the hangar your Dad was right next to you immediately.

"Baby girl, what did I say about your avatar bein' in the hangar?" He asks and you groan.

"But it's easier to load the Samson this way. No need for friggin' cranes or anything." You say and he makes a face of agreement.

"Alright but it's not allowed inside unless you're loading a ship." He says and you nod.

"Yes, sir. Understood. Lima Charlie, and all those things you say all the time." You joke and he laughs as he playfully nudges your thigh. "You know you can't push me around while I'm in my avatar right?"

"I know, but you're still my little girl." He says and you groan again.

"Dad!" You complain and he walks away from you heading to the gym. You split off toward Trudy and start helping her prepare for everything. Jake rolls up behind the two of you and stops.

"You must be Jake. I'm Trudy and this is my baby. Hope you don't mind that I have you on a side gun. (Y/n) wants to just be a nerd today." She jokes with you and you roll your eyes.

"Ha ha. Very funny Trudy. I'm just enjoying the view today." You say. "But while holding a gun."

"Follow me Jake. Got someone who wants to speak with you." She says and leads him away and you decide to go back outside.

"See ya in a bit Wainfleet." You call over your shoulder. You go and collect some fruits for snacks and wait for everyone to join you.
