i'm good! chipping away at the game, one inspiration burst at a time. been a bit quiet because there isn't much to share yet. it's a slow, meticulous process.

it was also my birthday last week, and that took all my time and energy. idk why the entire extended family gotta get in contact that week, we don't talk any other day of the year lol.

just wrapped the first christmas present of the year ❤️

#for my friend who hates presents of course 😂#its the stupid teddy bear onesie he has magically instantly putgrown BOTH the previous times i got him one it fit him for like a week 😤#so i got it in the next two sizes up and that's that!!!!#babies grow so fast wtf never buy clothes as a present for a baby that's all i can say #but i can't accept defeat so here we go #his mom will appreciate it even tho she doesn't like getting presents tho lol #and its insane to give christmas presents before thanksgiving but for all i know this baby is gonna outgrow them both by then #i literally bought the size 9-12 months like last month #i ordered it immediately after his mom told me she THOUGHT HE WOULD BE IN THAT SIZE SOON #and it was already too toght on him when it arrived a week later 😭#so now i got size 12-18 and size 18-24 this baby's gonna be cozy this winter or else!!!#i cannot afford this btw #the original onesie was pretty cheap it was o. sale for like $17 but then i bought it twice #and the size maxed out at 9-12 months #so i had to upgrade to a toddler one and it was $22 and i got two of them again plus shipping #and i only make 14 dollars an hour and i'm lucky to work even two days a week at my new job lol #im putting off getting a second job until after i cover a coworkers maternity keave in feb tho bc then i def would be full time #for at least 6 weeks #and its possible she might decide not to come back or another aide would leave by then #so i might have an opportunity to be full time by then ir at least close to that #anyway #no money november fr 😔#just realized my tags are confusing my friend is the mom not the baby 😂#she's the one who gates receiving gifts bc she feels awkward lol #but she's broke af and can't afford clothes for her baby let alone cute ones and she loved the onesie when she fot it at her baby shower #but then the baby came a week and a half late #he was supposed to be a march baby he was born in april #and all of a sudden it was too warm for the onesie and he inly got to wear it once #so i was like ok i will get another one in the fall/winter then #but alas

Eiffel question: What's his favourite (and least favourite) kind of weather?

well, i think he's always hated the cold, and he definitely hates it even more now. i don't think he even likes wearing long sleeves unless he absolutely has to; he's always wearing tanks or t-shirts and/or has his sleeves rolled up. and he's a barefoot by default kind of guy. i think he would scoff at people who say cold weather is better because you can just layer up; he does not consider that comfort.

(and he lived somewhere that rarely ever gets snow anyway, but he does not get the appeal. it's cold and wet and he'd have to shovel it and then he'd get sick and also slip and break every bone in his body. he's convinced of that. he could enjoy spending a few days at a cabin in the mountains as long as all he had to do was get cozy inside with a wood burning fireplace and a hot beverage. but only for a couple of days, or he'd go crazy. eiffel loves the idea of feeling like a rugged outdoorsman, as long as it doesn't require anything too outdoorsy.)

that said, he lived in texas, so you know he hates hot weather, too. summer is brutal, and he's already a sweaty guy who runs hot. spring makes his pollen allergies flare up. ... he just loves to complain. he can always find something to complain about. eiffel's ideal weather is like, 80-85 degrees and sunny with a light breeze. and even then. bugs.

#i think he can get into the atmosphere of a thunderstorm in the right circumstances but he's not a rainy day type of guy #he's not even an indoors guy really he's just. something.#letting him in and out like a dog.#i actually think he likes to build stuff outside as long as it's hobby stuff and not a chore and also it's not too unpleasant. weather wise #also i waver on where he grew up but if you assume his character bio saying he was born in boston means he was raised there #then the fact he moved to texas is kinda extra like. yeah he does not want winter. he does not like that.#either way. eiffel thinks if it's below 70 it's getting chilly #hi beth thank you <3 #asks

#omg i’ve never been so excited #i didn’t sleep all night cause i was researching what colour i might be #and i was doing my sisters too #rn korean/douyin type make up is trending so i’ve kind of just naturally learned it #i always do pinks and emphasize blush and do my glossy lip and glitter #but then i did that on my sister and i could not for the life of me figure out why it didn’t suit her #like. it just looked off #ANYWAY i figured out we’re way different seasonal colours #i’m spring and she’s either summer or winter #i’m still researching but idk for her #BUT YEAH IM SPRING which is so convenient #it means i can keep doing the makeup i’ve been doing because it suits my features !!!#i’m trying to figure out what subtype i am — true/light/bright #i’m having trouble w it but it’s still fun #i just like knowing my season #and now that i know my sisters season i can finally figure out makeup looks that suit HER too #it also kind of surprised me that she’s cool toned (although there were major hints) and i’m more warm/neutral #BUT YEAH #i’m excited #makeup just does it for me #i’m also born in spring and i just feel like spring is so fitting for me > <#꒰ soon you'll get better. ꒱

Remind me to never make events in my fic happen on certain dates again.

#Was Born To Lead #I almost died calculating all this stuff #Okay it wasn’t that hard but certainly unpleasant #It all started with Gabe’s birthday that takes place on the fourth of January and it’s freaking Wednesday #And Valerio had to return from Nueva Vista on Monday so I had to calculate the date for it too #and then every next chapter takes place on the next day #But then I just HAD to specify that Ángel applies to the fencing school on Monday #Why would I do that #And then Frida leaves on Saturday #But this is not the worst thing #The worst thing was to decide when to make Gabe’s scout camp start #Because if I made it on Monday it would be the 30th of January and it would suck because I want this camp to start in February #And it would also suck because I said Valerio was staying in Nueva Vista until the fourteenth of February #when Gabe already returned from the camp which is bad because the next chapter is supposed to have two parallel arcs again #so be prepared for it being extremely long #Anyway eventually I made the camp start on the first of February which is Wednesday #The 30th of January is the first day of the winter break in Gabe’s school #and the camp lasts for two weeks so the break ends on the 20th of February #It’s three whole weeks! Avaloran kids are blessed #I had no idea it would turn out like that but yeah now Avaloran schools have a three week long break in winter #What having everything planned even is #Плывём по течению детка #Anyway I’ll try not to specify the dates again because really it’s too much unnecessary work and stress #I feel like I explained everything extremely unclear here but ignore it I don’t think I quite understand it either #Conclusion: I want everything to make sense and it makes me suffer and unnecessary complicates my life #*looks at my ciphers and laughs nervously*#I really have to write the whole separate post about my ciphers because damn #they’re literally just unbreakable I don’t think ciphers are supposed to work like that

#my meds arent working #ive been on zoloft for a month now and i think theyre making me worse? and all i can think about when im awake is relapsing #im barely eating again and i cant force myself to. when i was living with my old roommates i could blame it on not being able to go to #the store or them stealing my food (which they did often) but now? im fucked. i have reliabile transport to the store and no one is stealin #my food anymore. Im about to move into my moms house again and i really hope she doesnt notice. She didnt notice before but i was gone alot #i had school back then and a job/activities i was doing. so it made sense that she never saw me eat bc i allegedly did that when i was out #and back then i was restricting to 300-500 cals a day and fasting constantly. i think she wont notice though since shes also got an ED #she wont admit it and sees nothing wrong with it but she 100% has one and its been there since before i was born.#i havent given in to relapsing on SH though. but it gets harder everyday not to. its fall now too and soon to be winter so it wouldnt be #hard to hide. but i also have an appointment coming up to get an IUD so the doctors would notice and then im fucking toast.#my doctor already has me on a bunch of vitamins and supplements because my levels are low so it doesnt help the thoughts that it doesnt #matter if i eat or not because im already getting all the vitamins i need to live. fucking hell man.#sh mention #sh ment tw #ed mention #ed ment tw #sh #ed #tag vent #vent #ed vent #sh vent #eyestrain #eyestrain tw

This is absolutely not the worst problem with JK Rowling being a terrible person. Not by a long shot.

But also.

It really does annoy me whenever people say that MBTI types are astrology for business majors. Because they aren’t. The obvious answer is that MBTI types are Hogwarts Houses for business majors. But I can’t just say that, because it’s got all this fucking baggage attached to it.

#I yearn for the days when ppl making HP too much of their identity just got a response of #‘read another book’#w/o wondering if they were actually in support of terrible politics/transphobia #but anyways astrology rlly isn’t a good comparison for MBTI #bcs MBTI is unscientific sure and oversimplifying #but it is still going to be based on some aspects of personality #whereas astrology is basically random #I’m not a Leo bcs some personality test told me #I’m a Leo bcs I was born towards the end of winter #in fact an online personality test once said I’m a Cancer #(I refuse to elaborate if it was referring to the star sign or not)
