suna rintaro x reader. 1.6k wc. ノ sfw ノ fluff ノ college au ノ suna and reader are roommates ノ jealousy ofc :3 ノ + atsumu appearance !
Tumblr media
moving in with suna was a bad idea.
he’s not a bad roommate. sure, he takes extra long showers and uses up all the hot water at least once a week and you’ve had to remind him to wash his dishes every now and then, but he’s not a bad roommate.
your frustration that comes with being suna’s roommate has less to do with him and more to do with the feelings you’ve been hellbent on keeping a secret ever since they became known to you a few weeks ago.
that much is getting harder these days with midterms being upon you. there’s been a girl over the apartment—some chick suna was paired with to work on a presentation. that fact alone doesn’t bother you; suna was kind enough to ask before inviting her over. she’s where your problem lies.
she’s shameless, really. always laughs a little too loud at jokes that aren’t that funny and always sits a little too close to suna when you’re positive the coffee table they’re working at isn’t that small. and the worst part is that suna is oblivious to it all.
even now he’s blissfully ignorant of the way she’s not so discreetly flirting with him. she’s supposed to be packing up to leave but, like she’s had some sort of life-changing revelation, she stops in her tracks and turns to suna, placing a hand on his shoulder. “you have a volleyball game this week, right?”
from the kitchen counter, you roll your eyes and stuff another spoonful of rice into your mouth. you wouldn’t normally eat in the kitchen while she was here but one too many spills by your laptop and the inevitable crumbs left in your bed have kept you from taking your meals back to your room. you’re starting to think a sticky keyboard or the unpleasant feel of tiny pieces of food against your skin would be preferable to whatever you’re about to witness.
suna nods and she pulls her hand away to clap. “perfect! i’ll be there to cheer you on!”
her exaggerated excitement causes you to snort, earning the attention of both of them. there’s a curious expression on suna’s face but the girl is all but staring daggers at you like you popped her bubble of joy and ruined the moment. you’re tempted to laugh.
“sorry, saw something funny on my phone,” you lie, shooting the two of them a smile before turning around to wash your dishes.
you dawdle at the sink until you hear the front door close. suna appears as you’re drying your hands and you spare him a glance, wondering if he’ll bring up your strange behavior. part of you hopes he does—maybe then you could open his eyes, finally make him privy to that girl’s blatant attraction to him.
he doesn’t question it, though. instead, he asks, “can i see what you were laughing at?”
❤︎ ❤︎ ❤︎
“you don’t get it, ‘tsumu, she’s actually the worst,” you tell him, dramatically dropping your head on his shoulder.
“why don’t you just leave when you know she’s coming over?”
your eyes cut over to atsumu, an unsavory frown tugging at your lips due to his outrageous suggestion. you can’t believe your best friend would side with her. “why should i? i’m the one who lives here.”
“because, clearly, it’s bothering you.” he isn’t the least bit apologetic for his outlandish recommendation. “look, it’s either that or you come out and tell suna that you like him. i’m tired of hearing you bitch and moan every time i’m here. we’re supposed to be watching them do that.” atsumu points to the screen of your laptop that’s playing some trashy reality show the two of you are hooked on.
you click your tongue at his blunt response, lifting your head from his shoulder. maybe he’s right—complaining won’t get you anywhere, but you’re too proud to tell him so. “hey. this is the thanks i get for putting up with your relationship problems? you ungrateful brat.”
you flick his forehead which elicits a shocked gasp from the blonde. a victorious grin is in the process of making its way to your lips when the plush of one of the many stuffed animals you keep in your room hits your cheek. your jaw drops in surprise at atsumu’s courageous counter.
“i’m going to kill you.”
you aren’t usually one for using your precious plushies as a weapon but any one within your reach is promptly launched at the setter. he dodges some and is whacked by others, all while theatrically screeching for you to stop. you’ve still got some steam left by the time you run out of ammunition and atsumu can tell. he reaches out, taking your wrists in his hands to prevent you from doing anything.
“wait, i’m sorry,” he breathes out, strands of messy hair falling in front of his face. “truce?”
you’re considering whether or not you want to take him up on his offer when your door swings open. suna’s on the other side.
his eyes scan the room, taking in the mess of colorful stuffed animals strewn across the space before they land on you. not you, but the way atsumu’s holding you. something about it makes his jaw tighten.
“hey.” your voice, breathier than usual, convinces suna to meet your eye. “what’s up?”
the scene he walked in on almost made him forget why he’d come by in the first place. “i’m ordering food. do you want anything?”
you hum in contemplation and then smile. “i’ll have whatever you’re having.”
he nods, readying to close the door. “i’ll call you when it’s here.”
the click of the door shutting sounds over the indiscernible voices coming from your laptop. taking your hands back from atsumu, you straighten out your clothes as thoughts of suna cross your mind. he usually finds any way to make a conversation drag, lingering in your doorway even when you’ve told him to leave so you can go to sleep.
you’re about to ask atsumu if he caught on to his friend’s abnormal lack of words, but he’s got another idea.
“yeah, thanks, i don’t want anything,” atsumu shouts at the closed door.
forty minutes pass before the episode ends and atsumu takes his leave. you see him out, planning your next viewing party as he puts on his shoes. he whispers something about settling shit with suna before then so he isn’t subject to your fussing the next time he comes around and darts down the hall before your fist can meet his shoulder.
you make a mental note to get back at him when you see him tomorrow as you shut the door and spin on the ball of your foot. from the foyer, you can see suna situated at the coffee table. there are plastic delivery bags on the surface and he seems to have already started eating from his portion.
“what happened to letting me know when the food was here?” you ask, shuffling over to his figure and plopping down on the floor beside him.
through a mouthful of noodles, he replies, “i didn’t want to interrupt.”
you almost scold him for talking with food in his mouth but then his words register. your eyebrows furrow as you split your wooden chopsticks. “interrupt what, exactly?”
it’s petty, he knows, but he can’t ignore the feeling that’s been gnawing at him since he saw atsumu touching you so comfortably. it’s like the image is seared into his eyelids and he’s forced to see it every time he blinks.
“i don’t know.” he flicks a mushroom with his utensil. “just seemed like you two were in the middle of something when i walked in.”
you hum, not paying much mind to his words as you pick up the stir-fry with your chopsticks. the noodles hang right in front of your lips when you respond, “i guess we kind of were.”
suna frowns at your answer. he wanted to hear you say it was nothing so he could kick himself for being so unreasonably bent out of shape. instead, your reply fuels him to ask the question he’d been wondering about for nearly the past hour. “are you and atsumu together?”
“what?” you sputter around your noodles. you want to tell him no but, unlike suna, you aren’t one for talking with your mouth full. your silence, however, only leads suna to keep going.
“i don’t care if you are but you should have told me so i wouldn’t just barge in on-”
“i’m not dating atsumu,” you finally reveal after swallowing your food. you’re not sure what possesses you to say the next part—perhaps you feel the need to really drive your point home—but it comes out speedily. “i like you.”
quiet blankets the room following your declaration. the two of you stare at each other with parted lips, suna’s eyes slightly widened in surprise. his lack of a response makes your heart beat heavily against your chest. it’s loud in your ears and you wonder if he can hear it too.
you breathe out an awkward laugh after a couple more seconds of silence. “look-”
“i like you, too,” suna admits.
“jeez, suna, you should have just said that!” you slap his shoulder, cheeks warming in belated embarrassment. “i thought i was going to have to move out because of one-sided feelings.”
“sorry.” he chuckles, rubbing the spot you had just hit. it didn’t hurt, but it felt different than the ones he had been met with in the past. he could get used to the tingles you leave behind on his skin. “i had to let it set in.”

Saving the Game (Erin Cuthbert x Reader)
Tumblr media
warnings: ⚠️injury, swearing, throwing up⚠️
a/n: I had to reimagine the the second leg of the quarter final so let’s pretend erin wasn’t injured and that the game didnt go to penalties. based off this request:
prompt: in which saving the game means injuring yourself during the champions league quarterfinal and erin takes care of you through your injury.
The champions league quarterfinal was a scary time. Emma had made it extremely clear that we could not concede. No ball should be behind Berger. And Chelsea thought they had it, until they didn't. A goal was scored by Vanessa Gilles in the 76 minute, equalizing the game on aggregate. It was a stressful ten minutes, and then out of nowhere, the ball was in Lyon's half.
Guro ran up the wing, speeding through the Lyon centerbacks. She switched the ball to Lauren James who outskilled Wendy Renard, leaving her Gilles and the keeper. LJ spotted Erin, making a run down the middle. The British woman cut the ball back into the space, Erin struck the ball, and it was behind Endler, and into the net.
You let out a scream, full of excitement as you jumped onto Erins back and kissed the top of her head. The fans has suspicions about a possible relationship between the both of you, but it wasn't confirmed.
The celebrations died down, 2-1, agrogate. 4 minutes left on the clock.
Thats where things went wrong. Lyon got hungry, and worried. They needed a goal more than anything. And that's when Chelsea panicked. As Lyon started their counter attack, you tracked back, positioning yourself in the midfield. You almost got the ball from Lindsey, but she faked you out. Magda and Kadeisha were alone. You tried to get back but Magda had no choice. She slid, clipping the corner of Lindsey's foot.
The American went flying, it wasn't a bad tackle, but she needed to sell it. Magda argued, but a penalty was awarded right away. You cursed yourself, wishing you would have gotten the ball.
"Hey. I know what you're thinking. Don't. Do not think anything bad about yourself. Ann-Kat's got this." Erin told you, discreetly putting her hand on the small of your back and giving you a closed lip smile.
Lindsey Horan put the ball down on the penalty spot and breathed in deeply. You positioned yourself in between Magda and Guro, ready to run into the box and clear the ball.
The referee blew her whistle, and the American ran towards the ball. Except she missed. The ball bounced off the crossbar and went flying back into play. You were quick to run into the box, Ann Kat yelling at you to position yourself on the far post. And thats what you did. Except suddenly, you were a bit in front the goal line, and the ball was coming flying in your direction. If you didn't move, it would slip into the night right between you and the post. So, as any footballer would do, you moved.
There was a three meter distance between yourself and the post, and you realized as you were already mid air that your jump to block the shot would end in only one way. Your head colliding with the post.
But it was too late, and you honestly didn't care. All you wanted was for your team to win this. So you took it. The feeling of the ball hitting your stomach and bouncing off hurt, but it was nothing compared to your head smashing into the lower part of the post.
Your screams filled the stadium and even though the ball was technically still in play, everyone had forgotten about it. Lyon and Chelsea players alike crowded around you. You saw double, no, triple as you lay on the floor. Blood clouded your vision as you groaned. You saw people being pushed to the side and then a face so familiar you could have smiled. Erin.
And then everything went black.
You woke up due to cold water falling on your face. You would have jumped up if it wasn’t for Erin’s hands on your chest pushing you down into the turf. "Don’t move. You probably have a serious concussion." she said, gently brushing strands of bloody hair off your forehead. "Why the water?" you groaned. "Sorry, couldn’t do anything with you passed out." the medic told you. "You saved the game y/n. It was incredible. Horrifying to watch by the way, when they showed the replay on the screen Jessie looked like she was gonna throw up." Erin laughed, trying to lighten the mood. You just smiled gently. "Okay, let’s get you off this field." the medic said.
A stretcher was now at your side and both men gently lifted you onto it, telling another medic to hold your head steady. You laid on the stretcher, looking up at the sky through the open stadium roof. You were a little confused when the stretcher lifted up and heard no kind of applause whatsoever. You looked around to see everyone shaking their hands in the air instead of clapping. Honestly, you were relived, you didn’t think your head would be able to take the loud noise. "Our fans are pretty amazing." you said gently. "Tell me about it." Erin laughed.
As they carried you off, you felt your eyes fluttering. You were struggling to stay awake, your body hurt, and you didn’t feel good. It was only when you got carried into the tunnel and when Erin left you as she couldn’t walk off the field that you told the medic to stop.
"Mark. Mark stop walking. I think i’m gonna-" you didn’t finish your sentence as you sat up and leaned over the edge, throwing up.
Throwing up was your biggest fear. You hated it. Hated the feeling, the taste, everything about it. It made you cry, and shake and just want to pass out every time you threw up. Your team didn’t know about this fear, and you wanted to keep it that way.
Your chest heaved up and down as you cried, whispering 'oh my god' multiple times. "Hey, hey. It’s okay. Don’t worry about it." Mark said, calmly. "I’ll get the janitor, bring her to the medical examiners room." He ordered.
You had always liked the medics, they were nice to you.
You laid down on your side, weeping silently. You were scared.
There was a moment in time that was a blur. You got transferred to a bed, another medic gave you a bucket and changed the bandages on your head. He stabilized your neck and then had to do a few examinations on you. It was clear off the bat that you were seriously concussed.
You ended up falling asleep on the bed, tears had made your cheeks wet, and you were so tired your heart hurt.
You woke up an hour later, disoriented, in pain, and wanting your girlfriend by your side. And surely enough, that’s where she was. You noticed her as you turned your head gently, her eyes were closed and she was leaning back on the chair. Well, she was the one you noticed first, it was only a few seconds later that you saw everybody else. Magda, P, Keish and Jessie were squeezed onto the sofa, all of them asleep. Some girls were on the floor, others on stools, and all of them were there with you.
An hour earlier.
The Chelsea girls were extatic about their win, but the fear and worry they felt for you overtook the joy. The second the whistle blew, Erin jogged into the tunnel, followed by Emma Hayes and a few of the girls who were on the bench.
She headed to the medical examiners room and knocked gently on the door. Mark opened it to see Emma, Emily and Erin. "She’s asleep." he said, walking out of the room and closing the door. "And her head?" Emma said, worried. "She’s seriously concussed. Out for about a month I’d say."
Emma groaned loudly, the sound of her frustration filling the room along with the sound of the Chelsea girls coming into the tunnel. "Ill tell the girls, Erin. Go sit with her." Emma told the scottish midfielder.
Erin nodded and thanked Emma, opening the door to the room and seeing your figure on the bed in the corner. She pulled up a chair and sat next to you, noticing the wetness of your cheeks. She gently wiped the cold tears away with her palm, kissing your forehead and then sitting down.
Only ten minutes later, Erin heard the door open and quietly, the team poured in. "You guys don’t need to be here, it’s okay." Erin whispered. "She’s our teammate, and we would still be out there playing if it wasn’t for her." Magda said, earning quiet agreements from the team. "And you’re our teammate, and we’re not going anywhere until she wakes up." Sam added.
The girls settled into the room, all looking at you, who looked oddly peaceful.
Current time.
"Erin," you whispered, sitting up and shaking her gently.
She jumped up quickly, suddenly on her feet as you gave her wide eyes. "It’s okay. It’s all good, I’m good. Sit down." you said, smiling at her lightly.
She didn’t though, not yet. Instead she brought you in for a tight hug and didn’t let go. "Your head… the way it bent. It’s not- it was terrifying." she said to you, burying her head in your hair. "Shh, I’m okay baby," you said to her, rubbing circles on her back.
People were starting to wake up and stand up, but you kept your attention on Erin. She pulled away and cupped your jaw, kissing you a few times before pressing a kiss to your forehead.
"Never do that again," Ann- Kat said to you. "It’s my job to do crazy dives." she added, making you laugh. "And we would have won in a PK shootout. This is is us…" Sam said.
"This is Chelsea." The whole room said softly.

Winner Takes It All || Twelve Take A Step Back From The Chaos
Charles Leclerc x Valentina Hendrix (OC)
Winner Takes It All Masterlist
Summary: Today was the start of the season, emotions were high as Vali receives a letter from one person she wishes could have been by her side
Warnings: mentions of wanting to beat someone up, letter from Jules 😭😭
Tumblr media
As always reblogs and feedback is highly appreciated ❤️ if you want tagging in future parts let me know ❤️
Nothing could stop my heart from racing as I made my way through security. Today was my first official weekend as an F1 driver, my first race of the season would be on Sunday.
I didn’t admit this to anyone but I wasn’t sure what I was more nervous about, actually getting on the track with the boys in a completely different car or talking to the media regarding my past or seeing Charles.
After the night he broke up with Becky and I cried myself to sleep in his arms. I didn't speak to him, not that we were speaking prior to that but still I made sure to fully shut him out. Whether that was due to embarrassment or something else I would never know. Over the last month he had tried to reach out to me but every call and text went unanswered. I needed to get my head in the game, he had already made a name for himself whereas I still had a lot to prove.
Pushing the thoughts out of my head I saw Josh strolling towards me and Pierre with an extremely large grin on his face. The moment he was close to me he draped his arm around my shoulder, placing a kiss to the top of my head.
“How do you feel?” he asked as we walked towards the Alpha Tauri motorhome.
“Excited, nervous, sick.” I mumbled, pulling one of my arms out of the backpack straps leaving it hanging on one shoulder. I just needed to get this interview over and done with and then I could settle a bit. “What time is my press conference?” I asked as we walked into the motorhome, the moment we were behind the safety of closed doors I dumped my backpack on the sofa and kicked off my trainers, instantly feeling at home.
“You have an hour to chill out, wander around the place, basically do whatever you want before we need to head over to the press conference.” Josh nodded.
“Okay” I hummed, making a b-line for the coffee machine.
“Oh one more thing V,” Josh said, his voice dropping a little bit like he was reluctant to tell me. Raising my brow at him I silently told him to spit it out. “Charles will be in the same press conference along with Pierre. Apparently the organisers thought it would be a good thing to have the three childhood friends together for your first press conference.”
“Of course they did.” I scoffed, rolling my eyes as I turned back to making a much needed coffee.
Running my hands through my hair I took a deep breath, I could do this. I was Valentina Hendrix and I could take anything that came my way. It was time to focus on my career and not my love life.
Once I had a coffee in my hand, I wandered around the motorhome until I found my area, seeing my name on the door caused butterflies to erupt within my stomach, but it also caused tears that I refused to let roll down my cheeks, I wasn’t going to let people see me cry.
Pushing my way into the room I flopped down onto the sofa, placing the coffee on the small side table. I was alone and my thoughts were extremely loud with no way of calming them. Now I was in the safety of my own room silent tears rolled down my cheeks. This was a bittersweet moment.
Holding my head in my hands I let the tears fall, hoping if I got all of them out now then I wouldn’t embarrass myself in front of the press. However I wasn’t alone for long before there was a soft knock on the door.
“Nugget, it is only me.” Pierre’s voice appeared from the other side of the door. “Can I come in?”
“Yeah.” I breathed.
The moment he saw me in tears he rushed over to my side, dropping my backpack on the floor before engulfing me into a tight hug. He didn’t need to ask what all the tears were for, he knew. He knew how hard this was going to be for me, my first race as a Formula One driver without Jules cheering me on from the pits.
When I imagined this day I could see it so clearly, Jules and my Dad fighting with race engineers trying to take control of the radio and me fighting it out with Charles and Pierre on the track. At least one of those things would happen this weekend but once again I thought things would be completely different with me and Charles.
“Your Dad asked me to give you this.” Pierre whispered, taking my hand in his, pressing a kiss on my knuckles before passing me a small gift box and an envelope.
I choked on my breath as I saw my name written in the messy handwriting that belonged to Jules.
“I will leave you alone but you know where I am if you need me.” he whispered, pressing a kiss to the top of my head.
Once Pierre had left the room I let out a shaky breath as I slowly opened the envelope. I wasn’t sure if I was ready to read his words but I knew he would want me to read this before the race.
Ma douce fille, My Sweet Girl,
If you are reading this then unfortunately we both know that that means.
You know I would have done anything in my power to be there at your first race as a Formula One driver. Just like we both know that I would end up being kicked out of the garage for annoying everyone in the team.
I knew you would be able to do it, I remember when you never believed it but watching you grow up to find your confidence behind the wheel is something that I will always be proud of.
I don’t even have to be there to know that you are going to kick everyone’s asses out there. You have and always will be a force to be reckoned with when you put your mind to it.
Please remember to take a deep breath and slow down a little bit, I know that is ironic considering you will be driving at high speed but you only get your first race once so take a breath, maybe even a step back from the chaos that is a race weekend and take it all in.
This is a moment you will always remember so make it a special one.
When you get out there, forget everything, nothing else matters apart from you and the track. Just focus on that and you will do amazing. And if you don’t get a podium on your first race then so be it.
Remember I will always be there with you even if I’m not there. I will always be watching over you.
So go out there and drive like you have never driven before.
Tout mon amour. All my love
Uncle J xx
It was safe to say I couldn’t control the tears that were freely falling down my cheeks, feeling something drop into my lap. I placed the letter on my knee to investigate the item. The moment I picked it up more tears fell, I held the white and purple yarn bracelet between my fingers as a sad smile crossed my face. This was the bracelet that I made him when I was five years old, he never took it off, he wore it to every race.
Slipping the bracelet on my wrist I took a deep breath, wiping my cheeks with the sleeve of my hoodie I pushed myself to my feet, placing the letter in the front pocket of my back pack.
Quickly checking I had my phone on me I decided that it was time to go for a wander around the track. I had a routine when I was in the W-Series and I planned on carrying that on here. Grabbing my airpods from my backpack I pulled them out of the case, placing them in my ears before checking they were connected as I opened up spotify. Soon enough the sounds of my race playlist was filling my ears, I had no specific music that was in this playlist but it was all hype songs.
One thing I was sure of, I wasn’t looking forward to this press conference. No doubt they would start asking questions about mine and Charles’ relationship along with my past and the police record, so I needed to get my head in the game. The last thing I needed was to snap at the reporters at my first press conference.
Becky was true to her word and my mugshot and arrest record was making its way around the internet. I had read a couple of the articles that had appeared and I couldn’t help but laugh, they had stretched the truth out so much it was a joke. I had spotted her walking around the track with a smug grin on her face thinking she had won but in fact she wasn’t even close.
Luckily I hadn’t bumped into her yet this morning but that all changed when she walked past me, literally barging into me as she passed.
“You think you are so clever don’t you?” I shouted at her as I turned so I was facing her and walking backwards, I could feel Pierre cringe at my outburst. He knew I wasn’t going to be able to keep my cool around her now I had found out the truth.
“I’m not the one with an arrest record.” she smirked, walking closer to me.
“I will fucking wipe that smirk off your face.” I growled, taking one step closer, squaring up to her. “How's the nose by the way? Still broken?” I laughed coldly. “You are nothing but a fucking homewrecker and you time is fucking coming bitch.”
“Nugget, ce n'est ni le moment ni le lieu. Nugget, this is neither the time nor the place.” Pierre said as he wrapped his fingers around my arm dragging me away from Becky.
I decided to keep my mouth shut until we got far enough away.
“You have to spoil my fun, don’t you?” I pouted, as we came to a stop outside the press conference room.
“I want nothing more than to see you beating the living shit out of her but maybe not on trackside on your first race.” he said, running his hand over his face. “I get that you are angry, but you gotta be smart about this, hit her when she least expects it.”
Rolling my eyes at his comment, I knew he was right but that didn’t stop me from getting the urge to smack her around the face with a chair every chance I got.
Taking a deep breath, I fiddled with Jule’s bracelet before walking into the room, this was it. It felt like I was walking into the lion's den with no protection.
The moment I saw Charles it was like someone had lit my skin on fire.
Why couldn’t I just move on? Why did he have to have such a hold on me?
Pierre took his seat at the far end of the room leaving only one seat available between him and Charles. Whilst my back was turned to the reporters I quickly flipped Pierre off, rolling my eyes when he poked his tongue out at me. Silently I took my seat between both of them, it was now or never.
As everyone in the room fell silent I reminded myself of the words from Jules.
This is a moment you will always remember so make it a special one.
Looking up at the ceiling I ran my fingers over the bracelet, trying to focus on my breathing. This was my time to shine, my time to clear the air with the reports and most importantly my time to dominate this season and it all started right now.

Arthdal Chronicles
Season 1 + 2
Tumblr media
Genre: Fantasy, Historical
Synopsis: In a land called Arth, the people of Arthdal decide to expand their territories to previously untouched lands. There, they encounter the people of the Wahan tribe - a people who know nothing of war and little of greed - and they show them no mercy. Tanya - the daughter of the tribe mother - is taken for slaves along with some of her people. Eunsom - Tanya's childhood friend - swears to do everything in his power to save them all, if it's the last thing he does. Now Tanya has to survive in a world so different from what she's used to - a world full of power-hungry people who trust no one but themselves. Eunsom makes the long and dangerous journey to save his people and ends up a slave himself. But neither of them will give up on the other because they made a promise. They will find each other again.
Episode info: 30 episodes over two seasons / Runtime around 80 minutes
Lead cast: Due to a massive change of cast, and character spoilers, I will not be listing the last as I usually do.
Link to watch: Season 1 (Netflix or Dramacool) / Season 2 (Disney+ or Dramacool)
Drama rec masterlist | Drama rant thread (beware of spoilers)
Tumblr media
As mentioned above, this series went through a massive change of cast between seasons one and two - several main characters as well as side characters were changed due to various reasons. While I personally do prefer the first cast - simply because they were the people I came to associate the characters with - I will say that the changed cast really did give it their all and managed to make the characters their own. They worked with what they had, and I'd say they did an amazing job.
I watched the first season when it came out way back in 2019, and I absolutely loved everything about it. The world-building is absolutely insane, and I wish I could watch it again for the first time. In preparation for season two coming out, I rewatched it, and I loved it just as much the second time. I really cannot find one thing I don't like about it. I'll admit it can be hard to follow sometimes with the many characters, politics, religion, and so on, but I wouldn't change a thing about it.
Now for season two... I will say they did a good job of helping you keep track of who is who after the changes by putting their names/titles on screen sometimes to help you keep track. And while I still absolutely adore this world they have created... it's just lacking something I can't quite put my finger on. It feels like everything is happening at once despite nothing actually happening, if that makes sense? It drags on, then suddenly speeds up through the exciting parts. I've seen people criticize the actors for being stiff in their acting sometimes, but I honestly feel the blame is on the writing and the overall story.
While I binged the first season, waiting every week for the next episode, I actually had to remind myself to sit down and watch season two. It's such a shame, because I wanted to like it so much.
If I had to rate them separately, season 1 is an easy 5-star drama for. For season two I'm tempted to make it 3 stars, but I just can't make myself go below 4. Together, I'll make it 4.
They tease for a third season at the end, and I hope that 1) they won't take so long they have to change the cast again, and 2) that they can redeem themselves a bit.
I know I ended on a bit of a dull note, but overall I really do like this drama a lot, and if you like fantasy with a world-building sort of similar to Game of Thrones and other shows like that, definitely give this drama a try!

DR:VC - First Ending Concept (+ Announcement)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Vessel and The Demon/Vermillion Kris sprites by me. Everything else was assembled using assets by Toby Fox, provided by Spriters Resource.
This is the first concept for the ending of Deltarune: Vermillion Crystals, which I call Destiny's End. The premise is that, after obtaining the Pure Crystal from Seam and using it to make the Twisted Sword, Kris finally discards the Player and goes off to begin the Roaring, corrupted by the sword's power. At some point, Gaster provided the Player with their vessel, resulting in chasing Kris through the Cliffs, ending up at the Castle Town's fountain, further behind the castle. Due to the importance of the Twisted Sword, Chapter 2 would take place during an Aborted Snowgrave Route. This would result in the rest of the Cyber World being cold. This wouldn't change too much narratively, maybe just make the rest of the events go a bit faster because Queen is silently freaking out but trying to meme it along, but it opened up the idea of remixes of Pandora Palace and Attack of the Killer Queen.
And now onto the main point of why I'm sharing all of this in the first place! Due to reconsidering theories and such, this ending will be scrapped. Will I still make the song? Most likely, later down the line. I have a lot of fun ideas for a Kris-centric God of Hyperdeath-esque boss theme. But the idea will no longer be canon to Vermillion Crystals. I will be waiting to see how the game progresses before making any more ending concepts. I'll likely have a rough idea (with accompanying concept art/mockups, like with Destiny's End) by the end of Chapter 5, and how the actual game ends will determine if I flesh it out more or come up with something new. Kris's design will remain intact, despite their horned Dark World form being based off of their Demon form. I will try to fit in the Demon design in some way in the future.
Other than that, I will be reconsidering the actual structure of the story and how it's presented. My initial idea was to simply rewrite the original scenes of the characters being affected, with new flairs to represent their new circumstances, in the form of a write-up.
However, I now feel more inclined to go above and beyond, mainly brought on by the idea of elaborating on the parts of Chapter 2 between Spamton interactions (like the Cyber World being cold). But I feel like I can do better. An idea I have is swapping the Crystal Holders with the main chapter bosses, in a way where they took over and cast the original bosses to the side. I could re-integrate the Aborted Snowgrave idea with the idea of Spamton bringing in so many viruses by accident that he has to set up a literal firewall, which gets negated by the large amount of ice Noelle brings. This expansion of ideas would mean there would be more of the AU to make, which may actually be easier as a sprite comic! This would also mean new tracks, and vastly different and new versions of already existing tracks! This may also require a tad bit of redesigning, but that's not extremely likely.
In fact, screw it, this will be the new course of the AU! I'm really excited to continue this journey with you all.
And as always, Welcome to the SOUL Intersection.
Also take this Queen textbox I made in the textbox generator when I first thought of the Cyber City Being Cold idea.

Well, i rarely write, but this is better than bottling things on my own 😂
Hello, I'm Red, and welcome to my little life update.
August had been one of the most challenging months for me. Had to start living separately from husband due to his work, but we've been trying to see the positive side. So far, things have been very good. We communicate daily and frequently, and i don't mind being alone (our cat keeps me company). Being alone is nice, but being lonely is hell. As much as i want to reach out to family and friends, there are some things that you can only discuss with your partner.
I work two jobs, one is a regular day job with a flexible schedule, and the other is this *gestures to everything else* artistic thing. Socially, most of the days, i can get by on my own. Some days i'd get more emotional than usual, but hey, that's life - or anxiety, lmao.
My anxiety is making it hard for me to relax, like watching movies or playing games or even reading a book, or even socializing in general. It's a bit difficult to focus as well, so i tend to forget lots of stuff and lose track of time. Socializing in general doesn't come as easily to me, i'd overthink what i have to say, and be worried if i have said the wrong thing. Perhaps my favorite words are "thank you" and "i'm sorry", so i prefer to use emojis or gifs to get my emotions/thoughts across 😅
So, it's September, and i'm already preparing stuff for October. And tbh i am excited. Honestly, i just wanna share what i made (and am making) because it makes me happy.
There ya go, just a little rant cause i can't say everything to my cat while his goblin brain only thinks about food. I can't say i'm complaining, things are going to be alright, and if it's not, well, it is always better than nothing. Just need to get it out of my chest.
Edit: here is Leonis. Full name Leonis Kneady 🥰

My brother and I both have our birthdays in March, so our uncle has bought gifts for both of us simultaneously. He has decided to pick a Steam game that has been peaking his interest due to how much he's been hearing a lot about it from someone else recently (and from a rather popular CA video too, I guess).
I suppose it's not very hard to guess what game I'm referring to here. He's even going to wait for me to get home before he'll try it, which is just so incredibly sweet. I hope he'll end up liking it, but considering how he's played a bunch of very unique games that are difficult, have pixelart, or require a boatload of patience, Rain World should be right up his alley.
This is the first time I've managed to get anyone outside of my 4 and 6 year old cousins interested in the game, and I'm frankly quite pumped about it. Though I pray he isn't gonna come over to the Tumblr fandom of the game, cus yeah, he's an amazing guy and I love him, and the same goes for this community, but sometimes, it's simply for the best to keep some things nicely separated, even if you hold both of them rather dear to yourself. As sweet as Tumblr is, it does have a bit of a scary side to it, and it already gives me enough anxiety about the stuff I'm putting out, so I really don't need the stress of having to worry about someone else too.
On another note, I'll have to travel right when the anniversary stream is happening, so I won't get to see the art and announcements live, together with everyone else :(
Thankfully, Akupara does archive its streams, and I doubt any of my stuff would show up anyway, since they only get to showcase, like, 1% (or maybe even less) of the art month drawings, and as much as I'm improving, I'm definitely not even close to the top 1% yet.
Also, again, apologies for the bits of silence, I'm often forgetting to post stuff, cus there's just too much stuff happening, and it's difficult to keep track of it all. I guess I should look through my stuff to see if I forgot anything good, but outside of that, I'll probably just put up everything in a Google Drive as proof that I actually did the darn challenge (even if I attempted some things that were a bit much for me to handle in such a short timeframe, but you know, we live and learn).
Oh, and what did I choose for my birthday gift? Why, the La Ilusion Renata Glasc skin from League, of course! I spammed the heck out of the Chem-Baroness when the Arena was around, and it sounded nice to have a new look for my girl for the next time when the mode rolls around :D
Fright Night is a cool choice too, but I prefer the 'evil mistress of nature' vibes, plus I wanna keep the mask!
That's it for my ramblings! I'm honestly very excited, but also tired as all hell, and I'm definitely taking a bit of a break from drawing once March is over. I might get back to it fairly soon, but that depends on a ton of factors I can't really predict. We'll just have to see what the creative part of my brain will desire during my somewhat sparse free alone time!

Love Doesn't Do Encores Ch31 The Calm Before The Next Storm
(IMPORTANT UPDATE: Hey everyone. There's been a slight mix up. Instead of Cerulean City the in story city origins for reader or reader's ID I'm replacing it with Lumiose City due to the mix up within the regions they're in. Apologies. Also! If anyone has any questions feel free to ask them and I'll answer them in the comments. Like Ch25 this will just be a mostly filler chapter with most time skipped things before we get to the Post Game events. This will also be separated by months to keep track of time.
Tumblr media
-FEBRUARY-
You were stunned. Absolutely STUNNED to say the least.
Piers had looked in you in concern as you stared on in shock as you almost panickily examined the ID card in your hands and the nurse delivered your lunches. It..looked just like your driver's license(one of the few things you had actually wanted to learn without your mother nagging you-) you had left back home minus the fact that you had the pokemon world's region and city on it instead of your town's. Albeit slightly worn and dirty from assumedly being left out in the elements for a while. You then turned to the small bag in front of you the nurse had brought over but other than it being also torn and a bit dirty, nothing was inside it either. It looked just like a plain traveler's bag you'd buy to take on a hike with you. Your confusion only heightened as you ended up blankly staring at the ID card for a long moment. Piers stared at your silence as the TV reporter on screen went on about Leon's winning streak staying in tack for more years to come apparently.
"Oi. Y/n?" You jumped whipping your head back to Piers as he raised a brow at you. "You 'right there? You're awfully silent all o' all sudden."
"Uh...Y-Yeah." You blinked staring back to Piers for a moment before returning to the ID card..and shrugging. You know what? You've seen too much by now to not be surprised by anything anymore but hey. At least you had an actual ID for anything in case you needed it. You'd relax and figure this out later then. Placing the bag and ID to the side you smiled back to him to ease his concerns. "Yeah. I'm just fine. Just wasn't expecting to see that now of all times I guess."
Piers hummed before nodding. "I suppose when you're chased by corviknight you don't really think about seeing somethin' ya dropped again. Oh. That reminds me." He pointed at you. "Leo gave me a call 'fore his big battle. You're bein' discharged from the hospital first thing tomorrow mornin'."
You perked up. "Wait. Really!?"
He nodded. "Doc says you're fine and they're releasing us tomorrow since most of the chaos and excitement should be died down soon enough. M' sure your mates will be here tomorrow mornin' ta see ya off."
You smiled wider. You'd get to see the guys again after not seeing them for over a month other than your brief encounter with Victor at Hammerlocke! "That's great! I can't wait to see them again! And you must be excited to see Marnie too huh?"
"Ya ain't wrong." He sighed. "It'll be good ta see her again. ...But anywho. I believe ya were 'bout ta tell me how that dinner you n' your mate attended with Oleana and the Ex-Chairman went."
"Huh? Oh right! Well it was around the time I got finished playing that temporary delivery boy job for the seafood restaurant.  I got back and met up with Gloria near the front of the store before we went inside."
You continued into the evening telling Piers all about the dinner you and Gloria had to endure with Mr. Rose and Oleana and he gave a hum every so often as a response. When you were finished he had a few choice words about the two of them. 'Bloody scumbags' and 'insane criminals' being some of his ways to describe them and you sorta agreed. When he inquired what had taken place after he had left you all at Rose Tower all that time ago you again happily indulged him. After all it was thanks to him that you were all able to storm into the tower in the first place plus it was nice to tell someone about your experiences.  And of course, when you told him about you're little encounter with Oleana giving her back the key card- ....He broke out laughing again. Oh if ONLY he had been there to see the look on her face when you spat her own words right back in her face! You didn't mind. In fact you liked his laugh. In fact you liked Piers very much as a person. Sure he seemed pretty distant, uninterested, bored, rude, and maybe even scary to someone but that was far from the truth. He was actually....Really REALLY nice to be around. Sure he was a mostly serious guy but he was also smart, caring, passionate, not afraid to help out others in an instant, patient, sometimes even playful and teasing, and someone who could be a good listener. No wonder he was such a good gym leader AND big brother. And no wonder everyone eventually liked him after a while. But with also an air of authority and...something else you couldn't quite place around him. Appeal maybe? He did seem like the guy to be a great friend. Man. Where was someone like him when you were growing up? You two could've been great friends. Oh well. All too soon dark came in the form of night, nurses delivered dinner trays, and then Piers had to excuse himself back to his room for your two's last night at the hospital. Bidding him goodnight you yourself put yourself to bed because come morning you would see your friends again. It was harder to fall asleep that night due to the excitement you felt but you also found yourself waking up early in the morning just as the sun was starting to poke through. Probably the earliest you had EVER woken up. Yawning and a bit tired, but too excited to see everyone after so long. Getting up and making your bed and trying to make yourself look presentable for when they arrived. And you didn't have to wait for too long. You were just watching the morning news, something about the Vice Chairman taking all Mr. Rose's old funds and putting them towards rebuilding projects, when lots of footsteps stormed towards your room. And the door was SLAMMED opened without any warning. You yelped jumping and snapping your head to the door, TV remote dropping from your hands.
"Y/N!!"
"GAH-" You were nearly knocked over back onto the bed when a whole bunch of blur's dogpiled you and on instinct your arms shot up .....but you blinked. "GUYS!?" The three blurs that had nearly tackled you down to the floor was the guys! Victor, Hop, and Gloria! You stood there stunned to say the least before you smiled brightly. "GUYS!! What are you doing here?"
"We were worried sick about you, Mate!," Hop answered pulling away from you the other two following suit. You smiled at his concerned golden eyes that scanned over you for a moment before he asked. "Are you alright!? You were knocked on the noggin harder than Raihan's Max Steelspike attack and left Victor outside the city! We were worried sick!"
"I'm fine. I'm fine!," you assured him before looking over and noticing the eyes of both twins staring up at you as well and you held up your hands smiling at them. "I swear I'm ok. The doctor said I was perfectly fine! Only a giant headache for a little bit. But what about you guys? Are you alright?"
"They're perfectly fine." A new voice cut through the air before any of the three could answer you and as you four looked up you again paused..before smiling again. Because standing in the doorway in his usual champion attire and cape was LEON! The purple haired man was smiling at you from the doorway looking no worse for wear except for the slight remains of his once black eye that was nearly gone. In his hands was your pack and he walked in. "A few scrapes and bruises but thankfully nothing serious."
"Leon!,'' you greeted happily with a bright smile. "What are you doing here too?"
"I wanted to come by and see you off myself with the others. Besides someone had to escort these guys here in the big city. Oh. Here. Before I forget." He held out your pack to you with a smile. "We brought your things over so you could back into some regular clothes. Don't worry. Everything should still be in there where you left them."
You gladly took it from him. "Hey. Thanks Lee! That's really nice of you." You brought it into your arms before looking back to the smiling champion. "Hey. Congratulations on the win by the way! I really enjoyed your battle. How's Raihan?"
Leon chuckled with a bright smile crossing his arms. "Thanks! Rai's doing just fine! He snatched up his team and headed back to Hammerlocke sometime yesterday. He's been given the go ahead to just head home and see what he can do to help the repairs. The Vice Chairman took over all of Mr. Rose's operations so it's only a matter of time before things should be completely back to normal."
You sighed in relief. "That's good. Especially since you guys caught Eternatus." You smiled and turned back to Gloria and Hop who blinked at you....before looking at one another. "....What?"
"Um...Y/n. We didn't catch that thing," Gloria said looking back to you confused and you froze eyes widening.
"WHAT!?"
"We did something better!," Hop chimed in with a smile and thumbs up to you. "Zacian and Zamazenta destroyed Eternatus in a giant explosion of light! So I don't think we'll have to worry about it anymore."
Again you paused staring at them. Gloria...DIDN'T manage to catch Eternatus?!....But you soon calmed down and shrugged it off. You know what? Why not? Gloria lost to Raihan in the finals and Leon's still champion. So why not have Eternatus destroyed instead of captured too in this world? As long as it couldn't harm anyone it was good enough for you and as long as the guys were fine you were ok with the outcome.
"Y'know what? That's good enough for me." You smiled. "Where are you guys heading after this?"
"Home of course."
"Postwick?"
Victor nodded. "And I 'pose you'll be headin' back home huh?" When you gave him a confused 'Huh?' look he gestured to the door. "Y'know. Back ta the Kalos Region. Glory told us ye might be headed back there after the final matches were over."
OH! That's right. You did tell Gloria that in case you did accidentally go poof back to your home back where ever you came from. You smiled wider. "Actually, I made up my mind to stay in Galar for while."
You received gasps and some happy smiles. "Really?! No way!"
You nodded. "Yeah. It turns out I like this region a lot so why not stay?"
"Does that mean you're gonna be traveling Galar more?"
You paused in thought. That...was a good question. What WERE you gonna do now that you were stuck in Galar permanently? Anything you wanted you guessed but you weren't too sure yet. What you wanted right now though was to just settle down in one place for a bit and live life stress free for a while. So you shrugged at Victor's question.
"I don't know. I really haven't figured that out yet, but I think I would like a small break from traveling for a bit."
Leon lit up. "Then why not come back to Postwick with us?,'' he suggested catching everyone's attention with his big smile, "Mum still hasn't found anyone to rent the basement room since we left last year. I'm sure if you ask she'd be more than happy to let you stay until you figure out where you wanna go from here."
"Ya Y/n! You can stay with us in the meantime! It'd be nice ta have another girl ta hang out with!," Gloria agreed with a smile.
...I mean it sounded like a plain! And you wouldn't mind hanging around your friends more, and Mrs. L was a pretty nice enough landlady to have! And it wouldn't be anything permanent. Just until you figured out what you wanted to do now. So you happily accepted his proposal.
"You know. I think I'd like that! Are you going to be coming with us as well?"
To your surprise Leon nodded to your question with a bright smile. "After with what happened I want to make sure everyone got home ok, and because after all this time I wanted to be able to see Mom and my grandparents again. After all Valentine's Day is nearing. What better way to celebrate the holiday of love than spending time with your loved ones?"
Ah. So Valentine's Day WAS a thing here too. You nodded in agreement again. He had a point. After all Valentine's Day was all about celebrating all kinds of love. Not just Romantic love.
"Lee jus' wants an excuse ta see Sonia that day.~,'' Gloria teased with a sly smile.
And like before the champion sputtered a bit red rising to his cheeks as he attempted to laugh off Gloria's tease by holding up his hands and laughing. ..But you all could see through it. "Haha! Come on, G-Gloria! It's not like that! Sonia and I are just best buddies! Just like Raihan and I are."
"Is that why you're face is red?"
"Hop! Please!"
You ended up chuckling at everyone before they left you in your room for a moment so you could change into some regular clothes and throw on your coat. After all it was early February, it was still somewhat chilly outside. After throwing on your coat, you threw your pack over your shoulders, and picked the ID card back up, shrugged, and pocketed that too before you left. You'd worry about that later and focus on more important things like heading back to a home now. After all, you didn't have anything else to worry about after all......Right? You got changed and exited your old hospital room to meet everyone and a certain someone who was waiting for you as well. You had just stepped out and paused when the sight of a pink handed water type in that hoodie standing at Leon's side caught your attention...Or well he did when he alerted you to his prescence with a very loud chirp making you look at him. In an instant he was walking towards you looking bored with his arms up and out like a toddler expecting a hug. You instantly smiled.
"SILVER!!" You instantly crouched down arms out towards him as he walked towards. "Silver c'mere boy!" he went right up to you and you snatched him right up bringing him into your arms as you stood and he laid his head on your shoulder with a relieved sigh sound as you proceeded to hug him. "Oh! There's my handsome guard pokemon! Were you good while I was gone?"
"He was an angel." you turned to Leon who smiled. "He did exactly as he was told the entire time you were in the hospital and stuck to Victor's side making sure he was ok. It was honestly kinda cute watching him follow Vick around." Victor grumbled in embarrassment next to Lee and reached up to pull his beanie over his face. Making Lee chuckle before pointing towards a nearby elevator. "Come on. I have a flying taxi waiting for us outside to take us to the Wyndon Station. We'll take the evening train out of town and back to Postwick."
Sounded nice to you and for once you didn't mind traveling by corviknight. Leon lead you all into the elevator where the five of you was all a buzz with life and it made you smile as you followed Leon out of the elevator and through the hospital. You didn't see Piers on your way out which made you a bit sad you couldn't say goodbye or thank him for helping you, but you figured he had more important things to deal with like making sure Marnie was alright which you understood. Leon lead you all out of the hospital and to a corviknight Taxi of course. Being outside again was refreshing but it being early February it was still fairly chilly outside. And you all piled in. Really it was all just a happy blur on the ride to the station. You sitting beside Leon with Silver still seated lazily in your arms, which the three guys seated across from you two chatting away excitedly at the prospect of heading home at last. And you couldn't blame them after all all of you were heading home. And it was a blur when you all got on that evening train and again sat down in those blue seats. Home. The word rang in your mind and it made you smile. You've never been so happy to hear those words before but now you had a reason to be happy. Because for once you were actually heading HOME.
-Short Time Skip-
Like before many days passed on the train and it wasn't boring. The three would busy up your time talking to you excitedly about Leon's match against Raihan, all the cool things Raihan did with them while under his care, and what happened after the battle between them and Externatus. And you listened eagerly. Ok. Maybe Raihan wasn't so bad with how well Leon trusted him to take care of the guys. And nights were spent well sleeping. More than once you'd wake up and find Leon passed out next to you with his hat over his face and his cape draped over Hop's sleeping form like a makeshift blanket. It was so sweet of him. But the train ride had to come to an end and yours did too. You all arrived at Wedgeherst Station on Valentine's Day no less really early in the morning. How did you know? Well you were asleep before being jostled away by Leon persistently shaking your shoulder until with a snort you woke up and turned your blurry vision to his smiling face as he greeted you.
"L-Leon? What-" You stifled a yawn.
"Sorry to wake you up," he apologized removing his hand from your shoulder smiling. "But we're nearly there."
You were about to tired ask what he meant when the conductor's voice came over the loud speaker ahead of you both. "ZZZTT. Attention Passengers!," the conductor announced over the speakers to anyone left on board. "We'll be arriving at Wedgeherst Station within ten minutes. That is all."
Your tired eyes looked up at the speakers before turning back to the window of the still dark night. The sun wasn't even up yet. OH! The morning train must be arriving to Wedgeherst Station. Already the other guys were already groggily getting up and looking around and gathering their things. Guess you should too. You slipped your pack over your shoulders and pulled a slipping Silver off the table and into your arms as he gave a groggy noise but didn't wake up to wait. And you didn't have to wait long. Just as the sun rise was coming over the horizon and the town appeared in the window. And you all stood up as the train slowed until with a metal screech it came to a complete halt in the station's doorway.
"Attention Passengers! We have now arrived in Postwick! The morning train leaving Wedgehurst Station will depart in fifthteen minutes! Please exit or enter the train within that time. That's all!"
The first ones to get off were the kiddos as they all literally ran to the exit Leon right behind them followed by you carrying Silver bringing up the rear. The air was still relatively chilly out including the station but you paid it no mind as you stepped off and was met with an even bigger surprise.
"MOM!" "MUM!" "GRAMPS! GRAN!"
You paused blinking as you stepped through the ticket gate to see the sights. It was...the guys' families! All of them! They were there! Mrs. G crying lightly and hugging the twins. Mrs. L doing the same with Leon and Hop but in a slightly bigger hug as their grandmother joined with Leon's grandfather proudly smiling and patting Leon's back as the Champion smiled embarrassed and there was-....You blinked wide eyed as you saw who was also there smiling at them all. Sonia and Ms. Magnolia! You smiled and walked on over towards her since they weren't in the middle of hugs like the rest.
"Sonia!," you greeted and it was like a switch had flicked on as practically everyone looked at you. You waved at Sonia who blinked towards your direction but smiled seeing you. "Hey! I haven't heard you in forever!" Well not since Piers told you she was watching Marnie for him! "Where were you?"
Sonia smiled her blue eyes towards you and smiled. "Y/n! Is that you? I thought you were..." Her smile dropped as her hand was held up towards you. "You were..unconscious in Wyndon Hospital. Are you alright? You had everyone worried sick."
You waved her off smiling. "I'm fine. I promise. The only thing I got was a giant headache but that's way gone too."
Sonia sighed placing a hand to her chest as everyone around you slowly let go of their hugs. "Well that's a relief. I thought we'd have to worry about something far more worse than just Eternatus on our hands but it seems you surprised us again."
You chuckled. "Yeah. But speaking of surprises I wasn't expecting to see you guys here!" You turned to Ms. Magnolia. "What are you guys doing here?"
"The same thing as everyone else here, Dear," Ms. Magnolia answered you gesturing her free hand around to the others. "To greet the Unbeatable Champion and the Heroes of Galar of course. This should make for an interesting Chapter in Sonia's book for certain."
You blinked back to Sonia. "Book?"
At the question the red head flushed shyly and brought a hand up to lay her face in it. "W-Well...yeah! I've been writing a book on my entire journey including all my findings! In fact I'm almost done with the last chapter! I was hoping to get everyone's accounts over lunch and permission to use you all in my book. But since you're here too I don't suppose I could ask you the same thing?"
A ...book? OH! That's right! During the game's end Sonia did end up writing a book on the entire event leading up to Eternatus and it's defeat. Guess this was still happening. You happily nodded. "Sure! I don't mind a bit."
She happily clasped her hands in front of her. "Wonderful! I can't wait to hear what everyone has to say!''
"That's all fine and dandy but I believe there is one thing I need to do." Ms. Magnolia turned and you blinked as she walked towards Leon who smiled at her stopping in front of him. "Sonia's told me everything that happened Young Leon." She smiled at him. "Congratulations, Champion. And to the heroes who saved Galar and possible the whole world from a terrible fate. Here. I've got a little something for you as celebration." Reaching back into her coat, she pulled out what looked to be a small container that instantly caught Leon's attention. "Here. It is Valentine's Day after all. You children deserve some of my famous sugar cookie surprise brownies as reward."
"Professor Magnolia," Leon said taking the box happily. You guessed if he loved Sonia's curry a lot her grandmother's cookies must've been to die for. "Why you didn't have to come all this way and do that for us."
"After everything you all have achieved it's really the least I could do. The Wishing Stars that make dynamaxing possible are parts of Eternatus. And when Eternatus was awakened, dynamax energy flooded the entire region. Because of that dynamax pokemon were popping up all over the place causing trouble across all of Galar. But Hop and his friends came to our rescue." She smiled over to Hop and the twins who blinked and looked at one another. "The dynamax phenomenon has long been an important part of Galarian culture. I hope everyone will use the power of dynamaxing correctly in the days to come. So young ones. Please do what you beleive is best. And congratulations to you of course, Leon, for winning another Champion Match and remaining the strongest trainer in Galar. You must've given poor Raihan a run for his money as they say."
Leon chuckled a little bit doing his habit of placing a hand on the back of his neck. "Gee. Thanks Professor."
"It's Valentine's Day already?"
Mrs. L finally had spoke up when she answered your question making most everyone look at her. "Yes! And your all invited for lunch today! It's been too long since we all last saw one another and I think it's about time to catch up."
"That sounds like a great idea!," Sonia commented clapping her hands, "I can bring one of my curry dishes for everyone!"
"A lunch together on the holidays with the heroes of Galar? How could we refuse?," Mrs. G replied chuckling. "Don't worry about appetizers. I can bring over a few tossed salads if that helps."
"That'd help a lot. Thank you."
Ms. Magnolia shook her head. "I'm afraid I'll have to decline the generous offer. I still have final preparations to do back at the lab for Sonia, and I really must be going now." She turned back to Leon. "It was nice to see you all again Young leon. Keep up the fighting spirit."
"Wait, Granny! I'll walk back with you!"
You waved good bye as Ms. Magnolia turned and slowly started out of the building followed by Sonia who walked after her promising she'd see you all again at noon. Good. You could do with a nice family dinner even if it was more with friends than family.
"Poor Professor Magnolia," Mrs. G commented once the two were out of the building. "It seems she's quite bothered by the Chairman's..Uh..E-Ex chairman's actions since she helped carry out so much of the researching into Dynamaxing for him."
Oh. Well when put like that you guessed her feelings were understandable. "Never the less, everything's alright now and we have the children to thank for that." Mrs. L then looked back to you who blinked. "And I believe I also owe you a thank you for rescuing my Little Lee and making sure the other children were safe and sound."
You...blinked before immediately holding up your hands to her. "Oh! N-No! It's fine! I'm just glad everyone's ok! Really it's no big deal-"
She cut you off. "I'm well aware of how you feel. Leon made sure to tell me EVERYTHING that had happened over the phone so we wouldn't get worried. He's also told me about you having no where currently to stay." You blinked..before turning a raised brow to the Champion who cleared his throat and looked away from your face. "I suppose the least we could do for all your help is let you rent the basement room again until you can get back on your own two feet."
You blinked back to her in surprise. "Wait. Really!?"
She nodded. "Why not? You were a good tenant the last time you stayed with us, and I haven't really found anyone else to rent the room to. You also did save Leon from something terrible. It's the least I could do in return."
"I- Wow-...I mean..." You smiled thankful at her. "Thank you so much!"
She smiled at you. "It's no problem really. You can simply help by working around the house and the yard."
"Speaking of the yard, did you all rent out the fields yet?," Hop asked his mother and you looked at him.
"Renting fields?"
He nodded. "Mum owns some farmland she rents to the local farmers to grow stuff on or to just keep their giant herds of wooloo and dubwool in. It works out pretty well for everybody."
Ah. So THAT'S  how Mrs. L made money being a stay at home mom all the time. You had just assumed Leon sent her money being rich and famous. Speaking of which she clapped her hands gaining everyone's attention. "That's enough of that now. It's chilly here. I say we all go home and warm up for the holiday lunch later today and have a nice hot breakfast."
Everyone agreed and headed towards the door. Leon following behind everyone but not before his grandpa pulled him to the side by putting an arm around his shoulders and leaning him over to whisper.
"Sonia's a wonderful friend, Lee. If you really want to impress her now would be a great time for a romantic gesture."
"G-GRANDPA!!"
You didn't hear the scuffle having gone out of the building but you all slowly walked your way down the street towards the houses until you all finally got to the split paths between the two houses. Bidding Mrs. G and the twins good bye for the moment as they all left to go settle back down into their own home while you followed Leon back to his home where Mrs. L offered you to just go and set your things back in your basement room. You did and came back up the stairs with Silver in tow now having been awakened and tailing you like a puppy but you didn't mind. You missed him following you around like that. You offered to help cook with Mrs. L and Leon's grandmother who were happy to accept your help as the boys caught up with their grandpa in the living room. It was still early in the morning but considering you all were cooking for about eleven people it understandably took a while. By the time noon DID role around people showed up. First was Sonia who knocked at the door, sadly Ms. Magnolia couldn't make it. Something about having to finish making arrangements to transfer the lab over to Sonia since she was retiring and Sonia was now promoted to the Postwick's Pokemon Professor. HEY! Good for her. Then came the twins and Mrs. G. The lunch wasn't anything too special. It was just like the other times you ate with them. laughing. Cracking jokes. Smiling. The guys happily told everyone aaallll about their experiences and what happened. With Sonia nodding as if taking notes. And you were happy to indulge her too as the hours ticked by and soon the light faded on Valentine's day. The twins and their mother eventually bid everyone good night. Same with Sonia. You helped Mrs. L clean up after everyone before bidding everyone goodnight yourself and going down to your room. Setting up your sleeping bag and getting in with Silver curling up next to you. You sighed. Falling asleep quickly as long last you felt at peace with yourself. Because for a once-
You felt at HOME.
-MARCH-
"Uh...What exactly is going on around here?"
It had been about a month since you arrived back in Postwick and already so many things had happened. Your Valentine's Day was great! And so was the rest of the week as the guys and Leon got to hang out with their families before he sadly had to once again take off for Wyndon again at the request of the new Chairman. Well he WAS still Champion after all. He still had a lot of responsibilities now that there was repairs going on. As for you, you got settled back into your basement room and had tried to once again (and succeeded in-) getting that job at Mr. Frederick's grocery store up the road a bit. And Mrs. L had instead started charging you a hundred dollars a month in rent instead of a hundred fifty. You suspected it was because of helping Leon but when you asked she claimed you were probably wanting to save money in order to move out once you figured out what you wanted to do again. Fair enough. If you were living in Galar now you'd need money to buy a house. The guys had been pretty chill. Usually going out to explore the fields or practice battle. Sonia had even published her book a week after you all arrived! Even making a free digital copy anyone could read on the web although you hadn't read it yet. Her publisher worked FAST! But that's not why you had woken up today. You had woken up to a whole bunch of commotion from downstairs and figured everyone was up, but when you came upstairs the strong scent of lemon and cleaning supplies hit your nose stronger than that roof piece did. And the sight of Hop wiping down one of the WALLS with a small rag certainly caught your tired brain off guard. Were you still dreaming???
"Oh uh. Good morning, Y/n!," the boy greeted your tired bed headed stare with an awkward smile. "Did I wake you up?"
"Kinda." You yawned reaching a hand up to rub your eyes. "What are you doing?"
"Oh! Spring cleaning! We do it every year once the weather's warm enough!"
"Spring cleaning?" He nodded. Oh. Makes sense. Lots of people did Spring Cleaning. You know you and your mom sure did.
"Yep! Once a year when it's Spring we clean the house literally top to bottom! But that's not the only reason why we're sprucing up the place!'' He turned back to the wall wiping it down with the biggest smile on his face. "I want everything to look it's best when Lee comes back this weekend!"
"...Say what now?"
"Lee called last night when you went to sleep! He's visiting us again this weekend and he's bringing a really special surprise for Glory! I dunno what it is yet but it's gotta be good! So today the house and then tomorrow the yard and shed! You wanna help?"
You shook your head no. "Sorry I can't. I have to work if I'm going to pay your mom that rent money for this month...But tell you what. Tell your mom to leave the basement and I'll clean that for you guys when I get back from work tonight. Ok?"
He beamed. "Yeah! That'd be a big help thanks!"
So Leon was coming that weekend huh? It'd be nice to see him again after so long. You just wondered what this 'surprise' was. Whelp you didn't have to wait long to find out that either because as he promised he showed up that weekend. The guys were pretty excited to see their big brother figure again and you'd be lying if you said you weren't excited to see him either. After all he was one of the few friends you had really. You kept your word of cleaning out the basement and downstairs bathroom for Mrs. L which she was grateful for but sadly weren't able to help much else due to your working. But it was alright. Mrs. G and the guys came over to help out and prepare things before Leon's big arrival that Saturday. And you were lucky enough to have the weekends off in order to see him. And then the day came. It was pretty early in the morning when someone bursts through the basement door startling you awake as Hop rushed down the stairs to wake you.
"Y/N!! WAKE UP WAKE UP!!"
"Huh?....What the-"
"LEON'S HERE!!", Hop excitedly called out for you from the basement stairs grinning like he had won a million dollars. "Everyone's here waiting for Mom to come back with him from the station! Come on before you miss him!"
You groaned. Oh. Right. It was THAT Saturday. "Alright. Alright. I'm up."
You groaned but did get up in order to go greet Leon. Whelp! You did want to see Leon again anyways. So you stumbled out of your sleeping back, slapped on come clothes that weren't PJs, and made yourself presentable in the bathroom before heading back up the stairs with Silver at your heels. But you were NOT prepared again for what you saw in the living room. Yes. Everyone was there. The guys, their moms, Leon's grandparents, and even Lee himself! But what you WEREN'T expecting was the extra person in the room. As soon as you had walked in someone had looked up from you at the couch and you paused seeing the much older man. And your eyes widened! NO. WAY. IT WAS KABU!! The older gym leader was sitting there in ordinary clothes right next to Leon and had looked up at you when you walked right in but paused in the doorway surprised. Kabu? Here? What in the world was one of the gym leader's doing here?
"Y/n!" You jumped when Leon smiled at you and gestured for you to come in as you stood there. "It's great to see you! Come in! You remember Kabu right?"
"Uh...Y-Yeah." You blinked before slowly walking in Silver at your heels. Still confused, you raised a hand and smiled at Kabu anyways. "Hey. Nice to see you again."
To your surprise instead of waving back the older man bowed to you. "It is an honor to meet our great champion's family and friends."
"Y-Yeah. Likewise. *ahem*....So what brings you to Postwick?"
"That's what this meeting here is all about." Leon looked back to Kabu who sat back up and looked to Gloria who you now realized was sitting across from him and Leon.
"Yes. You all must be very surprised someone like me decided to make the long journey here with Leon but rest assured that I had a purpose." His somber but calm expression met Gloria's. "You see there is a very good reason why I'm here. It is to see you." he then pointed a finger at Gloria.
Everyone looked surprised but more so Gloria who blinked and pointed at herself. "Ye came all the way from Motostoke jus' ta see ...me?" Kabu nodded but to her confusion. "But why?"
"A very good question to ask. And I have a very good answer. You see...I am in good shape for my age." ...You blinked raising a brow as he stated a ..true but very out of no where fact about him. "More than most people my age are, but as healthy as I may be it doesn't get rid of the fact that I am growing older. I have been the Fire Type Gym Leader for many years but it goes without saying I can't just keep that title forever. Like everyone there will be a time that I will decide or need to retire, but I can't as there's no one else to take over Motostoke's gym." ....He leaned forward making Gloria blink. "As with any Gym leader I study my opponents' moves, strategies, skill sets, and a slew of other variables in order to dictate their attacks. It's rare that I find a trainer who could not only beat me on her first try but in a way I wasn't expecting. Leon's judgement is something I respect highly and he wasn't wrong when he saw great potential in you Ms. Gloria."
The whole room fell silent for a moment as Gloria just..stared at him with the boys exchanging looks with each other before she spoke again. "Uh...W-Well thank ye. But what does that have ta do with anythin'?"
"It has to do with everything. Ms. Gloria if you're willing to accept my offer, and with your mother's permission of course." He nodded to Ms. G for a brief moment before turning back to her. "I would be honored to take you on and train you to become the new Fire Type Gym Leader of Motostoke."
Your. Jaw. DROPPED!! As did everyone else's besides Leon who smiled happily towards the shocked Gloria as she just sat there as kabu's words sank into everyone's heads. Kabu wanted to train HER!? As the new Fire Type Gym Leader for Motostoke!? THAT CERTAINLY WASN'T IN THE GAME!! After a moment of silence Gloria eventually sputtered out some noises that sounded like she was trying to talk gesturing her arms to him and around the room. Looking between him and Leon. Back and forth. Back and forth between the two league members before she finally let one word escape her mouth.
"WOT!?"
"Yes. Honestly with your skills and quick thinking I'm sure you'd make a great future gym leader. All you need is some guidance."
"I-I-I heard you b-b-but....WHY me!?" She gestured to herself again as if that was obvious. "I-I can't b-be a gym leader! I-I...I d-don't have the steel nerves it t-takes ta be one!"
"I thought you'd say that actually." She turned back to Leon who smiled warmly at her. "That's why I came up a plan that'd help you with your stage fright and anything else you might need improving on." With one hand Leon reached into his shirt's pocket and produced what looked like a tanish-golden colored train pass before holding it out to Gloria. "Here."
She blinked at it for a moment looking between Lee and the card before slowly taking it. "...What's this?"
"It's an exclusive Armor Pass."
"Armor Pass?," she asked him raising a brow.
He nodded with a hum. "Uh huh! With this you'll be able to directly go to the Isle of Armor station and catch one of their special taxi's to the island. That's where I trained when I first became Champion around your age. You see there's a very special dojo there with a very special teacher who specializes in training people into becoming better trainers. He's helped other people in the league before just like me. In fact he's pretty famous! You might even know about him. His name's Mustard."
You rose a brow. Mustard?? What kind of name was that?
"MUSTARD!?" You jumped hearing Hop shout eyes practically popping from his head with how wide they were in amazement. "As in like the old Champion who had the old title of Champion before he was defeated!? THAT MUSTARD!?"
Your eyes widened at Hop's words before turning to Leon who nodded. A former Champion?! No wonder Hop sounded amazed. "That's right. He's been running the dojo for years now and helps improve peoples' battling as well as themselves. I think it would be a great idea to have Gloria pay him a visit as I believe he'd be able to really help her come out of her shell. That is if she accepts Kabu's offer." He looked back to Gloria who still blinked at him. "You don't have to if you don't want to Gloria but know that you won't be in it alone."
"Yes. It's going to be hard work but that's what makes the end goal much more meaningful. But it depends on your answer."
Gloria blinked. Looked around the room at all of you. Looked at Leon. Looked at Kabu. Looked back down to the pass in her hands......Before smiling brightly like someone had just given her a brand new gym badge before looking back at Kabu! "YES!! O' course I accept ye offer! How can I not!? I just- Wow! THIS IS AMAZING!!"
A few smiles were shared even by the older man as Kabu bowed to her-
"Wait. When does she leave for the Isle of Armor?"
"Oh. Next Thursday. The train to the isle is already scheduled to arrive at noon then."
"NEXT THURSDAY!?" Everyone jumped as all of sudden Gloria shot up to her feet in panic. Hands grabbing her cheeks as a wave of fear washed over her all of a sudden. "T-THAT SOON!? I JUST- ....I NEED TA GO PACK!!" And with that she turned and fled. Silver having to literally jump out of the way as Gloria sped off out of Hop's out throwing the door open with a BANG behind her in her rush. Leaving everyone there sitting in silence...Until Mrs. G sighed.
The Isle of Armor?? Why did that sound familiar to you?...Oh well. You didn't pay it much mind but you were happy for Gloria to get such an unexpected surprise! Being trained by both a gym leader and a former champion sounds like a dream come true for someone like her. You didn't know all the details but Kabu talked for a while with Mrs. G getting Gloria's Mother's permission to train her before leaving back for Motostoke on the evening train. Leon himself left the very next day after carefully walking Gloria through everything including where she needed to go showing the place on her regional maps before leaving again. The life of the Champion must've been busy especially with fixing up after Mr. Rose. ...Huh. You wondered if they ever caught Oleana yet? Days passed and you kept going to and from work but you saw Gloria again when she and Mrs. G came into the store to purchase more traveling supplies for her trip to the Isle of Armor. There she gave you her finished Curry Dex book claiming she didn't want the prizes she would've gotten anyways since they were toys and she was too old for them. Fair enough. And apparently Leon left her a gift and note in his room upon leaving. She was happy to show off her new Charmander to you. AH! And THERE'S the final gifted pokemon of the game. You ended up just putting the curry dex book thing in your pack with your other belongings. Soon Thursday rolled around and Mr. Frederick was nice enough to let you have the day off so you could see Gloria off with the others that afternoon. You, Hop, Victor, and Mrs. G all traveled with her to the station. Gloria both giddy and nervous with a big old stuffed pack on her back. Mrs. G asking over and over again if Gloria remembered to pack everything she needed. First aid kit. Food. Clothes. A coat. Her sleeping bag. Etc. When you got to the train station Practically no one was there except for one or two other people and the station master behind the counter as usual. You did pause to look at the other two people who were dressed somewhat strangely and very colorfully waiting for the train as well. One had really BRIGHT pink hair and the other guy wore this gigantic top hat with pokeballs floating around it like some psychic pokemon. Wha- How was he doing that? Your attention was brought back to the present as the distant sounds of the evening train approaching caught everyone's attention.
"There's the train!," Mrs. G commented before grabbing Gloria by the shoulders with a look. "Are you sure you packed everything you needed?"
"Yes, Mum! For the millionth time I double checked this mornin'. I'll be fine travelin' there. Lee said he was gonna meet me at the taxi station anyways."
Mrs. G still didn't look so sure but Victor assured her. "Don't worry none, Mum. Glory's gonna be fine on her trip there."
Eventually she did sigh and remove her hands from Gloria. "You're right. I just can't help but be worried about her traveling by herself. You all are growing up too fast for my liking."
"She'll be fine!," Hop said smiling widely before looking to Gloria, "You're gonna do great Glory! I know you will! You're my rival after all so you have to do your best or else I'll become a better trainer than you."
Gloria smiled back at him. "Ha! We'll see 'bout that. OH! I almost forgot! I got something for ye!" She reached into her jacket pocket and pulled out a pokeball, holding it up to the purple haired boy. "'Ere! I had a couple a few extra o' these wee ones lying about an' I know they mean a lot ta people in a special way so I got ye one."
Hop slowly took the pokeball from her. "A pokemon? For me?"
She nodded. "It's a rare find I had been gifted by Sonia back at Wyndon but I have no use for it. But don't see what it is til ye get home. Ok?"
Hop again blinked but smiled widely. "Wow! This is amazing Glory! Thank you." he excited turned to Victor holding up the brand new pokeball. "Hey, Vick! Look what Glory gave me!"
"You gave Hop a pokemon?"
Gloria turned to you and nodded. "I gave all me rivals an extra pokemon I got from the rotomi boxes ta show there's nay hard feelings. After all you said I shouldn't cause any bad blood between me rivals."
You smiled. "Oh ..Wow, Gloria. That was really nice of you! What did you give them if you don't mind me asking?"
"Oh nothin' special really. I gave Marnie a wee purloin I found and I sent Bede a lovedisc before we went ta see you at the hospital."
You froze. .....And blinked. "Wait, wait, wait. You gave BEDE a what?!"
"This cute water pokemon I found called a lovedisc," she gushed obvliviously. "It was jus' the cutest wee thing shaped like a sweet lil heart! I figured since Bede's always wearin' pink and he has works with cute fair type pokemon it'd be perfect! An' I gave Hop one of the extra pokeballs I had forgotten in me bag." She paused with a hum rubbing her chin. "I can't remember what pokemon it was but I'm sure Hop will love it all the same!"
You wanted to facepalm right then and there. Because as soon as the words 'I gave Bede a lovedisc' slipped out of her mouth so obliviously you knew she had once again blundered. And you had a good reason why. There was ONE specific pokemon Dex entry you specifically remembered about luvdisc-
"Its heart-shaped body makes it popular. In some places, you would give a Luvdisc to someone you love."
AND she gave one to Bede who she already flustered with accidentally making him think she was trying to gift him an applin. Great. You sighed but figured maybe Bede wouldn't know or he wouldn't think much of it since she also gifted Marnie a purrloin and Hop a....mystery pokemon you have yet to figure out. Here's hoping. The sounds of the train came further and further until with a high pitched screech it stopped right in front of you all and the station master announced it.
"The train to the Isle of Armor has arrived! Those with an Armor Pass please board the train! The train will departing in fifthteen minutes!"
"That's me cue!" Gloria said as the other two weirdly dressed people walked up to the station master. She turned back to all of you with a smile. "I guess this is good bye for now."
"Don't worry about us," you assured her smiling. "You're going to do great out there!"
"Yeah! Glory, you'll do great!" "It's gonna be great to have a Champion brother and Gym Leader Rival!" "I'll miss you, Sweetie."
Hugs were had all around and good bye's were exchanged before Gloria a little tearfully joined the other two weirdly dressed folks in line for the train as the station master checked their passes.
"Do you have an Armor Pass?"
"Naturally. I have made all the proper preparations which you can observe with unclouded eyes."
"Hee hee! Of course! I totally have one!"
"Then please allow me to check your passes."
You all watched as the weirdly dressed people handed their passes to the station master who proceeded to look over both behind the booth. Huh...Why did those two look familiar? Deja vu again. But you shrugged it off. Lots of different people in the pokemon world. They probably just reminded you of some you've seen before. After a moment the station master handed the two back their passes and they stepped out of the way for Gloria to walk up and also hand him her pass Leon gave her. It was also at that moment the doors to the train opened and something came walking out of it. You turned ..and blinked as a SLOWPOKE slowly crawled it's way out of the train's doorway and into the station. It's dopey grinning face smiling at nothing as it randomly crawled into the station. Wha- What was a slowpoke doing here? Silver noticed too and chirped at it curiously gaining it's attention...or more so the food Silver held that he had been snacking on. the slowpoke peeked it's interest at that and came towards Silver making him chirp in warning backing up behind your legs holding his precious food from it's reach.
"Aw. Hey little guy." You slowly kneeled down to the pokemon who tilted it's head curiously but otherwise none threateningly at you as you kneeled down catching everyone's attention. "Where did you come from?" Of course it didn't answer you but made a happy noise when you reached out to pet it's head. CUTE!
"Oh a slowpoke!" "Hmph. To meet a slowpoke. Such a thing is simply elegant."
You paid no mind to the other two adults but the station master peeked out of his booth to see the thing before giving a groan. "Uh oh. Looks like another one's gotten on the train and ridden over from the Isle of Armor. Hey you're all pokemon trainers right?" He asked you all. "If Slowpoke blocks the ticket gate, it'll cause trouble for other customers. Slowpoke are actually really heavy. So do you think you can catch it for me?"
"I think it's just hungry," you answered back noticing the way it kept staring at Silver's food as your brave guard dog cowered away from the dopey looking teddy bear thing.
"If that case I can lead it out of the station with this." You turned to Victor who reached inside of his pocket and pulled out what looked like those granola breakfast bars that no one really liked besides him. Carefully peeling off the wrapper he exposed the granola berry mix thing and went over to the slowpoke. It was pretty easy to catch his attention as it almost immediately turned it's head to him. "C'mon boy! Ye want it? Come get it." And like magic the pokemon turned and slowly began following Victor as he made his way to back out of the station. The slowpoke slowly but surely following behind.
The station master sighed. "Thanks much! Slowpoke can be a big trouble to move sometimes." And he went back to finish giving Gloria her pass as Victor continued to lead the pokemon out of the station.
"Hmmm? How interesting. I must say your catching style is quite simply elegant." "Whoa amazing! The way you're catching that slowpoke is the absolute coolest!"
Victor chuckled nervously as he continued leaving. "Are you guys getting on the train too?"
They both turned to Gloria and the pink haired lady nodded. "I'm heading to a place called the Isle of Armor! I'm gonna catch some rare pokemon and do some training!"
The blonde haired man nodded. Again HOW were those pokeballs floating around his hat?? "I've heard it's a place where one can catch rare pokemon and do lots of training."
Before Gloria could say anything else the station master turned back to the three of them. "We apologize for the wait. We have checked your Armor pass. All aboard the the train to the Isle of Armor! Mind your step when boarding. Please be aware there will also be a connection along the way."
"Okaaay!" "Understood."
The pink haired lady turned back to Gloria. "Let's hang if we meet up again, 'K? Bye bye then! See ya!"
The taller blonde man reached up to tip his hat slightly to Gloria. "Yes. Perhaps we shall meet again sometime. Well then please excuse me."
And both turned to board the train. You all watched them go before Hop hummed. "I could be wrong..But that lady looked familiar."
"You too huh?" Hop nodded and you hummed. Ok. That was strange. Hop seemed to kinda recognize them too so it's more than a deja vu affect. ...Well considering those two were in Wedgeherst Station that means they must've been from Postwick too right? You must've seen them around before and not paid them much attention beforehand. Yeah. That must've been it.
The station master ended up giving Gloria her pass and she quickly boarded the train but she paused and looked behind her at you all....Smiling sadly and waved. You all waved back to her smiling and in Mrs. G's case crying lightly until the doors closed and the train moved. And she was off. You were certainly going to miss having her around but Leon promised to call you all and let you know when he and Gloria met up at the taxi station. And you weren't going to stop her from going on this amazing chance to be trained by strong people. Although you still felt deja vu from all this for some reason. Oh well. When you all eventually started making your way back out from the station, you ended up running back into Victor who managed to catch the slowpoke. Good for him. Hop and him talked for a moment mentioning Gloria leaving Victor her...Sword?? You were confused but paid it no mind on your way back home. Hop was curious to see what kind of pokemon Gloria had given him and you were also curious. She said she left him a pokeball she had forgotten was in her backpack, but exactly what kind of pokemon was that? Once you all got home Hop couldn't wait anymore and threw the pokeball then and there in the hallway. And what popped OUT of it shocked you all. In a bright light out popped an....Apple? With..eyes? You were extremely confused at first seeing it because what WAS that thing? However the shocked gasped and almost worrying expression that came over Hop's face made you look to him.
"Hop? What's the matter? Are you ok?"
"I-...She just-...That a-.." He stammered and sputtered looking between you and the pokemon that blinked around the place curiously. Before Hop finally looked to you shocked and pointed at the pokemon. "THAT'S AN APPLIN!!"
AN APPLIN!? Your eyes widened as you suddenly looked back to the pokemon. THAT was an APPLIN!? Why in the world would Gloria give Hop an applin of all pokemon!? Isn't an applin supposed to be the symbolic pokemon of love in Galar or something!? Wait. Didn't she say she had forgotten what kind of pokemon was left in her bag?? WHERE DID SHE EVEN GET AN APPLIN IN THE FIRST PLACE LET ALONE FORGET SHE JUST HAD ONE-....You paused. The distant memory of you guys back in Hammerlocke came to mind. The day that Gloria helped that kid with his crush who moved away. The day Bede mistook her trying to give HIM that applin. THAT applin. ...THIS APPLIN!! The same applin she slipped into her backpack claiming she'd figure out what to do with it later but you both had forgotten it was even there this ENTIRE time! And now Gloria had mistakenly given it to Hop forgetting what it was and just as a platonic gift between friends. .....OH NO!!
"W-WHY WOULD GLORY GIVE ME AN APPLIN!?...Unless..." Hop paused. His golden eyes widening before slowly looking back towards the pokemon. "Unless she's trying to tell me that she..." In an instant his face lit up brighter than a firework on the fourth of july.
"Actually this might've been an accident on her part."
He looked to you. "H-HOW CAN THIS BE A MISTAKE!?"
...How were you going to explain this when he hated Bede? "Well-....Uuuhhhh...I-..."
"T-This is really unexpected!" Hop muttered to himself reaching his hand up to rub his chin in thought. "I-I mean I know w-we're close but I never expected...THIS!!"......He suddenly smiled before narrowing his eyes. "HA!! Well then this just makes things all the better! In that Mareep Head's face! I can't wait to see his reaction when he knows not only am I Gloria's one true rival but the one true person she'll ever show affection to as well!!"
...A slap sounded out as you utterly AND literally facepalmed.
-APRIL-
You had..tried to explain to Hop what happened but gave up half way through and decided to let Gloria handle it whenever she saw him again. She'd probably be able to make him listen to her if she explained it to him anyways. The last two to three weeks of March went off without much excitement other than Hop receiving a book in the mail and Sonia completely taking over the lab for the now retired Professor Magnolia. But over all the days went by the same. You went to work, paid rent, help Mrs. L around the house, and Hop and Victor would go off and go off to try to catch pokemon or hang out. Sometimes Victor would even show you the pictures he shot with the new camera Leon gave him for Christmas last year. Until one day at least. You had woken up around eight o'clock in the morning and got up and went upstairs to go out the door to head to work with Silver at your heels, but when you were about to exit the house you were stopped by Mrs. L.
"Y/n!" You had paused in the doorway door open about to step out when you looked over and saw a slightly worried expression on the older woman's face as she walked out from the kitchen towards you.
"Hey. What's up?," you asked turning to her as she stopped in front of you.
"Have you seen Hop today? He wasn't in his room this morning when I went to go wake him up for breakfast. Do you know where he went?"
You blinked. Hop was gone? You shook your head. "No I haven't. I just woke up a bit ago myself. But I'm sure he's just probably out with Victor again. Did you ask his mom?"
Mrs. L shook her head. "No. ...But you have a good point. I'll go ask her when I get a chance later."
"Ok. If I see him in town I'll tell him to call you or something. But don't worry. I'm sure he's fine."
And you were sure he was since you didn't have any bad feelings about this. Mrs. L agreed with you before you were able to leave and head back into town where you met up with Mr. Frederick. The day was nothing special. He had you clean out a mini freezer and stack a few new cans on a shelf, but that was about it as he handled the register. You didn't see any signs of Hop or Victor while you were working and you didn't see any signs of Mrs. L coming worriedly into town looking for him so you assumed everything was well. It wasn't until around noon that something did happen. You were in the middle of sweeping up the floor when Mr. Frederick called you over. He had just received a call on the phone near the cash register and had gotten off of it before calling you over.
"Miss Y/n?"
You looked up from your sweeping as Silver sat boredly by and over to the older man behind the cash register. "Yes?"
"I had just received a call that a package had just arrived for me down at the station," he explained with a smile, "I don't suppose you could run down over there and pick it up for me? The Station master should know I'm sending someone to pick it up."
You smiled at him widely. "Sure! I'd love too. It shouldn't take too long."
"Thank you kindly. Hurry back now."
Leaving the broom leaning against the wall you slowly made your way out the door and down to Wedgeherst Station with Silver in tow which you didn't mind. It probably beat him staying there bored out of his mind. You smiled humming to yourself enjoying the warm weather in the new spring air. Pretty flowers and grass everywhere. The Postwick country side was beautiful! It beat the crowded Wyndon in your eyes. Plus who knows? You might see some cool wild pokemon. Soon you reached the station and noticed the train in the station. Oh. It must've just arrived you thought. You went right up to the station master and asked with a smile.
"Hi! Mr. Frederick sent me to pick up a package for him."
The man on the other side smiled. "Oh of course! He said he'd send someone over the phone. Just one moment."
The man reached onto the floor beneath him and soon you were given a decently heavy box about the size of Silver. Not heavy enough where you couldn't carry it but def enough to where you would HAVE to use both hands to carry and it would slow your movements. With it securely in your arms you turned and like a cliche movie accidentally bumped into someone. You yelped as the bump made the weight of the box accidentally shift and you dangerously tilted to the right. In a blur of blue, someone's arms shot out and grabbed the box before you could fall over thankfully making you still stand.....You sighed and pulled up on the box along with the blue sleeved hands helping you safely shift the box back in a safer hold. Sighing in relief you turned to the owner of the hands as they let go of the box.
"Pardon me my dear lady." .....You blinked. WHAT THE HECK- A man with blue eyes and pal tanish-blonde hair in a blue suit smiled at you. "That was rather rude of me to bump into you like that. My apologies.~"
"Uh..." Oooook. Well there WOULDN'T be anything wrong with the guy really. If his hair wasn't styled in a weird do....That looked like a LITERAL sword! You stared at him for what was probably considered rude before turning to the guy right next to him who looked the same except he wore a red suit instead of a blue one and his hair was styled up in what looked like a shield!! WHAT-..You stared at their weird hairdos for a little longer before eventually snapping out of it and clearing your throat. "Uh. I-It's fine. My bad. Thanks for the help though."
"Brother." The sword-hair guy turned to the shield-haired one. "We should get on the train. Now."
The blue suited man nodded before turning back to you. "Please excuse me." And both scrambled around you and through the ticket gate. Into the train they went all of a sudden like you the time that onix chased you.
You just watched as they both disappeared. You also thought you saw the red suited guy holding something but you couldn't be too sure since they left so quickly and you were more focused on their weird hair. "What the world was that all about?"
"HEY!! COME BACK HERE THIEVES!!"
Hey! You knew that voice! Your head snapped up just in time to see HOP of all people come running through the station just as the announcer called out that the train was about to leave. "HOP!?" You called out to him but for whatever reason he didn't even look at you. He shoved some kind of card into the ticket gate before he too entered the train- "HOP!! WHAT ARE YOU DOING!? GET OFF THAT TRAIN!!" He didn't listen. His form disappeared into the train as well and before you could even move the train took off! "HOP!!" You yelled running up to the ticket gate and stopping still calling out even though it did absolutely nothing. "HOP COME BACK!!"
It was no use. The train ran and ran until the last freight car completely left the station. You stood there SPEECHLESS for a good few moment because...WHAT JUST HAPPENED!? Did Hop really just- ...What did he just DO!? You stood there continuing to stare for a long time before one thought crossed your mind. YOU HAD TO TELL MRS. L!! Sharply turning you clutched the package to you and ran from the building, Silver giving a noise and running off after you. As fast as you could you ran all the way back to the store. Startling Mr. Frederick at seeing your panting self. Delivering the package and briefly explaining that there was a family emergency before again leaving. Running down the path way back down towards Mrs. L's house. And it was with this running that you happened to bump into another person you knew. VICTOR! He just ran out in front of you away from where Sonia's lab was located not paying you any attention as you skidded to a halt.
"VICTOR!?"
The boy skidded to a stop before whirling around at you running towards him and he blinked wide eyed. "Y/N!! WHERE'S HOP!? HE WASN'T AT SONIA'S LAB!"
You also skidded to a stop in front of his panicked face breathing raggedly. "YEAH I SAW HIM!" You pointed back up towards the train station. "HE JUST HOPED ON THE TRAIN CHASING AFTER SOMEONE!!"
"W H A T!?" Victor screeched hands flying up to grab at his beanie. "YOU MEAN HE'S G O N E!?"
"Flew outta here like a zubat outta heck! Victor WHAT is going on!?"
"I-...I-I don't know!" He gestured around in a panic. "We went ta put back the blasted sword n' shield they used to destroy Eternatus but then these two weird blokes with giant hair came outta now where and managed ta make off with the bloody shield!"
"WHAT!?" The sword and shield they used to destroy Eternatus!? And the shield had been STOLEN by- You paused...Wait. Big hair- YOU SAW THOSE TWO AT THE STATION!! That means the thing that red suited was carrying must've been the ancient shield the guys used in game to destroy Eternatus! But why in the world would they take it!?
Victor nodded. "W-We thought he'd be at the lab but he nay was an' then Sonia's dynamax detector whatchamacallit  picked up some weird spike in Turrfield! And....A-AN I DON' KNOW WHAT TA DO!?"
"Then that's where they're heading!"
"How do you know!?"
"Call it a hunch." You grabbed him by the shoulders. "Listen to me. Everything's gonna be fine. Ok? I won't you to go back home and pack what you need to go! We're heading for Turrfield on the next train! Meet me by the store so we can get supplies ok!?"
Still shaken up and panicked Victor managed to nod to you and you both ran back towards the houses. You HAD to tell Mrs. L and tell her to call Leon! You didn't know what was going on but this was NO coincidence. But upon arriving at the house you discovered no one there but Hop's grandparents. When you asked panicked where his mother was they answered she was currently out. Something about a problem with the fencing in one of her fields and a famer and she possibly wouldn't be back for HOURS. You gritted your teeth but there was no time to argue. Instead you raced to the basement and in a haste packed up EVERYTHING of yours into your bag as fast as you could. Slapping your sleeping bag on top and strapping it in before racing back towards the stairs to meet the concerned grandparents. You couldn't explain now but you DID tell them that you were going after Hop to Turrfield and to tell his mom and Leon as fast as they could. They were shocked and you would've loved to explain to them more about what was going on but you didn't have time to explain everything. Instead you ran out of the house and down the path. Running into Victor again as he was already running up the road ahead of you with his giant pack heading towards your meeting place the store. Good! With Silver at your heels and your lungs heaving you ran all the way back to the store to meet an anxious Victor already waiting there.
"WELL!?"
"She wasn't home! But don't worry I made sure she'd know!,'' you reassured him seeing the panicked look on his face. "We just need to get supplies and get on the next train out of here after him!"
"T-That w-would be the new evenin' train at five thirty!"
"There's an evening train now?" He nodded. "Good! That just means well catch up to him faster." You grabbed his arm pulling him into the store. "Come on. We need supplies before we go."
It was almost like when these guys took off from Wyndon all over again only this time it was one guy chasing down thieves you had to worry about and he was all alone without anyone to help him if he got in trouble. You explained rather hastily and apologized to Mr. Frederick that you probably not be coming back and were leaving on such short notice as you both bought a lot of supplies Victor just SHOVING them in his bag before you two scurried away back down to the station and just....sat there and waited. It was the only thing you could do for the entire five and a half hours it would take for the evening train to arrive. In between that time you tried your best to comfort an anxious and blubbering Victor as he stammered and explained to you everything that happened in the Slumbering Weald. Them putting the items back to running into Sonia to them appearing claiming to be the 'King of Galar' and then Hop running off after the two before he could stop him. You tried to calm him down while trying to keep yourself calm. You didn't know much about what was going on but either way you were going to find out! After feeling like an eternity just WAITING there the train you both were waiting for arrived. Not wasting any time you two scrambled to it squeezing past the gate and falling into the train. Bolting for the nearest blue seats as if THAT would make the train go faster. What felt like another eternity was actually five minutes when the train finally started off and you looked out the window. Catching your reflection staring back in the light of the setting sun before sighing.
You could never really catch a break for long around here could you?

Welp you may or may not text like my best friend who is also obsessed with the crytid batfam so good for you.
Anyway I don't really have much more to say about it
There's this one fnaf au I have where the Afton family is in a modern au, at some random (not afton owned) pizzeria and arcade, when the kids start to sorta scatter
Hold on Lemme grab the summery I wrote for my fic stuff document (I'll edit it a bit so it's readable for not-me eyes)
The entire Afton family goes into a pizzeria. None of them had anything to do with making it, and it's modern day. The pizzeria is kinda old, not very populated and dusty. They can't spot any staff, but shrug and suppose they're in the back. They decide to check out the games, spending $50 for tokens at a machine. (They had moved to America along with the Emily family) The kids all ignore the games for a bit, happily running around as Micheal holds both their hands.
Finally, Micheal let's go, saying that they might as well actually play these games since they spent so much already. Elizabeth stays with him, complaining about the lack of pizza.
Evan goes to follow but gets distracted by an old arcade. He goes up to it, and if this were a video game then the cutscene would end here. He puts his hand against it and shudders, he was expecting it to be cold but it's actually super warm. He turns, planning on catching up to Micheal and Liz, and jerks. He turns back, eyes wide, and stares at the machine. He pulls at his arm again, nothing. His palm is stuck. He can't move it off the machine. He sputters slightly under his breath, pulling again. He watches as his hand sinks further into it. He takes a breath to call out, there's a flash of metal, and it all goes black.
Michael pov. Walking through the awfully long pizzeria, Elizabeth comments about the lack of Evan and Micheal blows her off, saying he probably just got distracted and will be back once he loses interest, which Liz agrees with meaning it happens often. They find some weird trivia game, Micheal decides to play due to the strange design on the sides.
It starts as a normal platformer trivia, get the question right and you make the jump. Then the questions start getting more personal, then start to feel like an attack of his character. Liz grabs his arm, confused and concerned. Micheal scowls at it when it implies he's a bad brother.
The game is designed to get you to play for as long as possible, each question you get right is another life you can use when you get one wrong. Meaning it keeps track of what you get wrong. More importantly, it keeps track of what you got right.
Micheal tears back and slams his hands on the platform, not pressing any buttons. Then puts his hand back on the controls. Next question comes, do you enjoy hurting me? Micheal goes to rear back, but his hands are stuck on the controls. He moves it to no. Before his character can attempt the jump, the screen glitches out, going black with a big white LIAR on screen. Micheal falls limp and Liz screeches.
Parents look over, expecting a rowdy child who got too excited, not a distressed child who just watched her brother fucking die. She bangs her fists against the machine, telling it to give him back, before getting stuck and sinking slightly just like Evan. She falls.
William and his wife rush over, wife curling around Liz as William checks Micheal. No heartbeats. They call out for Evan, asking bystanders to call the police. They freeze when they spot him. Crumpled on the floor, same as the other 2 were. The staff still haven't shown up.
Micheal wakes up in a morgue. He freaks out at the fact that he's wrapped in a plastic bag. Suddenly very thankful for his nails, he uses the sharp edges and broken bits to cut open the bag and push it underneath him. Shifting around, he accidentally, to his relief, pushes the door open.
He scrambles to get out, He briefly raises an eyebrow at the odd scars along his body and hospital gown. He doesn't feel cold, despite the absolute lack of coverage. He peaks inside, and notices a bag. He grabs it, and pulls out the things he had on him when he died. Smiling, he slips on his clothes, flips up his hood, and shoves his phone in his pocket. He's happy for the wallet too, even if it's still filled with arcade tokens.
He leaves, yawning, and walks all the way out of the building. Once outside, he takes a few deep breaths to try to not freak out. Then he opens his phone. It's not dead, at about half charge, and opens freely. He opens the group chat with all his friends, reads through what he missed, and ultimately decides not to send anything. He doesn't want to scare them.
Next half of the chapter shows the investigation. The pizzeria has cameras, making sure no one stole anything, and saw all the deaths. It's revealed here that the game Evan went to was out of order, but about a little golden girl losing everything and lashing out at everyone. Funny coincidence. Micheal and Liz's game was called Purpling Consequences. The questions are supposed to get more serious as time goes by, and none of the later questions that Micheal read out loud were part of the game's code. They watch Micheal jerk his arms just like Evan did, but ignore how he got stuck to answer the question. Then his eyes roll back, and he falls. Liz is similar, in that she gets to let go a few times, banging her fists against it in anger before it catches her and forces her to fall.
The haphazard way they fall doesn't make sense, as they had no injuries on their bodies. Micheal alone would've had bruises on his knees, butt, and back of the head at the very least, but nope. Nothing. They sigh, before someone opens the door, concerned. They say that the security camera on the morgue caught something strange, and pull up the feed. It shows Micheal afton climbing out, confused, and pulling out his belongings. Then they cut it as he starts to pull off the medical gown. They then freak out, as it has been a few weeks since he died, and they had already gutted his organs in preparation for his funeral. He shouldn't be moving, he shouldn’t be standing, and he definitely shouldn't look alive.
They pull up a phone to call the remains of the Afton Family. Micheal walks off, not hungry or sleepy and not even noticing that it's strange. He looks around at everything, buying a charger, before sitting in an alley. The alley is relatively clean, if not for some litter. He chose it for an outer outlet that actually works. Probably for hanging lights. He plugs in and searches the news.
That's all I had written down

“Hah? If there’s nothing you need, then scram. I’ve got no time for pointless small-talk.”
Name: Leviotan Genov
Dorm: Octavinelle
Year: 3rd
Like/s:
Gambling
Musical instruments
Fairness and keeping to your word
Word puzzles and chess
Dislike/s:
Meaningless things/conversations
Debts and being indebted
Needless spending
Spicy foods
Twisted from: No one (he’s based on a Killer Whale/Orca)
Short Description:
A 3rd-year from the Octavinelle dormitory, and Viviane’s “older brother”. He appears to do as he pleases and minds his own business, to which he expects others to do the same. Despite his conscious distancing, he at times follows Azul’s orders and genuinely cares about one person; his little sister.
Personality:
He’s aloof and prefers to not bother intruding on other people’s business unless it benefits him, his sister, or his benefactors. That’s not to say Levio has no social skills at all, he’s actually quite pleasant to talk to…. if and when he actually talks to you. He’s also very observant and actually pays attention to what is going on in his surroundings, keeping information within his head until he can later use it on the perfect or right time. Also, due to being raised in a household that respects and highly values women in a positive light, Levi’s naturally inclined to be nice and courteous to women, even offering to assist any female that look like they need help— he’s actually kind that way, though he doesn’t regard himself as such and just considers it as a circumstantial attitude due to how and what type of environment he was raised in. Also, despite his rather gruff and tough appearance, he can actually be rather formal and patient, though he mostly reserves this side to gatherings or important parties and stuff.
Believe it or not, but he’s actually an instrumental genius. What that actually means is, he can pretty much play any musical instrument very easily even though he’s never used it in the past. It’s to the point that he only needs to hear a piece of music ONCE, and he can already replicate it to near-perfection. Despite looking and acting so seriously most of the time, Levio’s actually pretty playful and a bit of a snarky tease, since he whenever he’s in a good mood or around people he even REMOTELY is close with, then he’ll poke fun at them over small things on occasion like; say if that person’s crush is nearby, then he’ll do his absolute best to make his “friend” turn absolutely red from embarrassment. Though at random times, he will choose a random person and then try to push their berserk buttons for the fun of it. Levi genuinely cares about Viviane and would do absolutely anything and everything to make her happy and to stay that way; he’s almost worried about her due to her lackadaisical attitude and the fact that because she got so used to seeing sketchy-looking guys back at home, she has absolutely zero fear in approaching literally anyone.
With all that being said…. it will not be denied that Leviotan has a rather sadistic side. He also has a bit of a bad habit in gambling away anything— he more often than not ups the stakes and even often bets his life mostly for the thrills, though he quite easily crushes the opposition on that note since that’s his “finale”. Additionally, Levio may not look like it, but he is the type of person who WILL mess with and up your entire life and psyche just for the fun of it. Sure with his domineering size, he’s 198cm by the way, he could just easily beat anyone up, but he much prefers the way of “breaking them by talking”…. though he isn’t against in using both. Levi’s also not ashamed of actually using his “ties” and “connections” behind the scenes if he gets genuinely pissed off, or if one of his benefactors needs something done about it, or, god forbid, if you’ve done something bad to Vivi in which case, pray to whatever god out there that Lev himself does NOT deal with you; trust me, you’d rather wish you were dead than deal with an angry Leviotan.
Relationships/s:
[Will be edited in the future]
Trivia:
His first name, [Leviotan], is actually derived from [Leviathan] and [Lotan]; both are sea serpents/dragons with the former being from Jewish/Christian belief, while the latter is from the Canaanites— although the name also came to be used as a term for “great whale”.
His last name, [Genov], comes from the infamous Genovese mafia— the oldest and largest of the “Five Families”, and was originally known as the “Luciano (crime family)”.
He and Viviane may be siblings, but the latter is actually his adoptive younger sister-- meaning they share no blood relations. Still, he treats Viv as if she was actually his younger sister.
Viviane was also supposed to end up becoming the heir to the Genov family name due to their succession law of having a female lead the family. Though because of her adoptive status, and the fact that she vehemently rejected it(since it felt too “restraining” for her), Leviotan was chosen instead despite being a male. Both of them don’t really mind or care about this outcome in the slightest.

Tumblr media
“We’re starting in one minute”
“Now, let’s hear a few words of well-appreciated encouragement from Iori Utahime-sensei,” Gojo suddenly declared, leading the mentioned teacher to look at her colleague in complete shock before quickly beginning to sprout out whatever came into her head.
“U-Uh...Um, some degree of injury will be unavoidable, but, um..now and then, help each other out..or something…” Utahime stuttered out causing you and everyone else from the Tyoko team to look up at the speakers in both confusion as well as fed-up expressions since all of you knew that it was one of Gojo’s teasing antics again.
“Times up,” Gojo quickly stated in a playful tone leading you to look off to the side as you began to look around the area since you were wondering how the principals, teachers and possibly other jujutsu sorcerers were observing you since there were no cameras located to which caused you to suddenly come in eye contact with a pair of piercing pure onyx eyes that were staring down at the group you were with now making you come to the conclusion that someone was using a technique that allowed them to share sights with crows or have their sense being shared with them...either way, it was like having someone watching you 24/7.
‘Creepy...it’s like they’re sensing my death’
“Hey! Gojo, you little…” Utahime yelled out, irritated that she was interrupted out of her little encouragement speech - well, it wasn’t like she had a lot to say to you all anyways.
“Now, let the sister school exchange event...begin!” Gojo enthusiastically yelled out like it was a sports match, encouraging everyone in your team to start running forward in order to gain a head start on whatever the plan was.
“Respect your seniors!” the Kyoto teacher exclaimed loudly through the speakers after since it seemed like she wanted to remind your adoptive father that she was older than him, which can to a surprise for you since she looked much younger than you thought she was - well...you could say Gojo was a bit of the worst end when you found out his age, he seemed completely younger than he had mentioned to you when he took you out to a dessert place after a mission he set for you.
“Ichiro?!” Itadori questioned as he turned back to look at the speakers as if he was going to get the answer he wanted while Fushiguro looked at him with a non-chantant look on his face.
“So stupid,” Kugisaki commented as she gave off a disappointed look as she continued to run.
“Where do you think the cursed spirit boss is?” Itadori asked both Panda and Maki as he came toe to toe with them as he ran since he was truly determined to win this event as soon as possible.
“It was probably unleashed halfway between both schools, but it’s not just going to sit still, we just need Gojo to get there first to exorcise it since she isn’t allowed to fight anyone,” Panda answered, as you managed to catch up to your first-year classmate leading him to question how fast you could actually run since you didn’t show any athletic signs back when you and him were students at Sugisawa Municipal Highschool.
“At the time we agreed upon, we’ll split up into the Megumi squad and the Panda squad for scouting, we’ll be counting on you after that, Yuji,” Maki stated while turning her head slightly to look at the younger student leading Itadori to give her an encouraging salute and smile informing her that he knew what he had to do.
As you all continued to run, the black demon dog was running in front of all of you while barking to indicate where he was going leading you to quicken your speed to make sure you didn’t lose track of it since you now had the role to exorcise any curses that were around with the help of Maki, no matter what grade they were.
“Where are you going?” a spider curse questioned as it began to hang down by a string of its web, trying to seem intimidating when in reality it really wasn’t.
“That's a small fry,” Panda commented, leading you to unhook your katana that was behind your back from its position as you prepared to exorcise the thing by sliding it with the wooden stealth one since it was an extremely weak curse anyway. However, before you could even push yourself forward to cover the remaining distance that was between you and the disgusting spider curse, the demon dog that was in front of you turned it’s head to the side as if it had sensed something else from a distance.
“Gojo, stop!” Fushiguro shouted at you causing you to turn back to him before pressing your front foot to the ground to help slow down and halt your movement causing the demon dog to stand proactively in front of you as a sudden eruption of broken tree trunks as well as a huge cloud of debris covering the remaining path that everyone was running in leading them to pause around you.
Rapidly, as fast as the destruction came was as fast as the instructor appeared from the mist as Todo struck everyone was a confident grin since he was joyful that he had found everyone from the Tokyo team right in front of him - it was as if he had struck gold.
“Great! You’re all here! Come at me altogether! I want a re-match, Gojo!” Todo declared ambitiously as he pointed at you, leading everyone to go into a fighting stance since they didn’t want the possibility of losing you even when you knew that they knew that you could defend yourself, just not attack your opponent back at all.
As expected, Itadori took the first step as he ran towards the large student before suddenly jumping up to reach and grab onto Todo’s face as he proceeded to slam it against his knee, causing you to slightly cringe since you didn’t want to know how much pain his nose might be going thought at the very moment in time.
“Gojo! Don’t worry, I got Todo in check!” Itadori informed you, leading you to smile and nod at him as a way to thank him, causing Maki to shout out the command that everyone needed to do right now.
“Scatter!” Maki yelled out causing everyone to run off in two different directions with Kugisaki, Panda and Inumaki going to the left side of the forest, while you, Fushiguro and Maki took the right side, as you all needed to go in different directions to cover up a large amount of area you all had to cover in order to find the grade two cursed that was released for the players to exorcise to win the event for today.
“Todo was alone, it seemed like he really wanted to fight Gojo though,” Fushiguro commented as he turned back to look at you and Maki, while still running since there was a possibility that the grade-one sorcerer would come looking for you.
“We were right to swap Gojo with Yuji into that role,” Maki stated as she turned to you with a confident smile on her face leading you to give her one back before shifting your eyes to the dark blue metal pole that was dangling on the side of your hip, where you held it in place with a black belt that Kugisaki had gifted you one day during one of your random shopping trips.
‘I’ll thank her again later when all of this is done’
                                          ꕥ
BEFORE THE EXCHANGE EVENT STARTED:
“Todo will absolutely be out to crush us straight away, Mai might follow behind him to come after me, too,” Maki mentioned to everyone, as she held her chin in a thinking posture as you sat next to her with your arms placed behind you to help support your upper body.
“Todo’s a monster, the worst possible outcome would be that we all face him and get wiped out,” Maki explained before turning to look at you before letting out a sigh of disappointment since she needed to change the current plan due to the fact there was a few new little rules being placed upon you to make the game fair. “So our plan was to leave just one person, that’s why we wanted Gojo to take him on since she is the most capable of keeping him at bay or more like knock him out to give us some time but rules are rules. Itadori, we’ll leave that role to you,” your senior classmate declared as she took in yours and Fushiguro’s suggestion from before leading to the mentioned sorcerer to point at himself with a little uncertainty.
“We’d rather not lose anyone who can scout out our enemies, you don’t have to beat him, just hold out as long as possible and buy is time,” Maki said with a smile as she lifted a thumbs-up to somewhat cheer up your classmate since she wasn’t completely sure on how well this plan would work, but she had a gut feeling that it was going to go well due to yours and Fushiguro’s previous statements.
“But you can be daring against him! To be blunt, we weren’t counting on your abilities anyway, so it won’t affect us too much if you have to quit,” Panda teasingly commented while giving him another thumbs-up, leading Itadori to inform his upperclassmen on how ‘mean’ his comment was in a whining tone.
“Sorry, Y/N. You wanted to face Todo, didn’t you?” Panda asked as he leaned his body forward to get a quick look at you.
“I’m good either way, it’s such a complete drag to fight him again anyways,” you answered before leaning your head back to face the ceiling as it seemed like a wave of unnecessary tension has been lifted from your shoulders - even though you knew you were more than capable of beating Todo, you weren’t too keen on fighting the close-ranged sorcerer since he was just plain annoying in your mind.
“But Senpai, if I’m gonna do this, then I’m gonna win,” Itadori declared with determination laced in not only his tone but his posture as well, leading you to look back down at him before gifting him an assured smile that quickly displayed itself of your face as you then gave him the final thumbs-up of approval that he needed.
‘Yeah, he’s got this’
                                              ꕥ
While you, Fushiguro and Maki continued to run in whatever direction you three were going in, you were more focused on locating the second-grade curse you needed to exorcise to get this event done and over with since today you weren’t really in the mood to get into many first - you didn’t even have a single drop of orange juice today, and that already made you irritated.
However, as you continued sensing for the cursed spirited that you required to know the location of, your mind couldn’t help but get distracted by the amount of cursed energy that was looming around the area Itadori and Todo were located before at least four people from the ground and one person from above started to unexpectedly move away from leading you to become perplexed but slowly beginning to understand what was happening as you looked up to the sky to find a familiar blonde-haired sorcerer as she rode a broom across the sky.
“Fushiguro, use Nue right now,” you commanded, leading your classmate to look at you before looking up at the direction you were staring at to finally understand what you meant, which caused him to quickly summon the owl-like shikigami right in front of you.
“Take her down,” Fushiguro demanded his shikigami leading to the bird to unexpectedly appear behind the flying sorcerer with purple electricity enveloping his wings before flapping them down to transfer the high voltage lighting bolts to the third-year student leading to her falling from the sky into the maltitude of trees below to break her falling or possibly help her land somewhere that was not the ground to have a lighter impact than it should really.
“That’s strange,” Fushiguro suddenly commented, as you and Maki halted on your sprint since you all knew you couldn’t discuss the matter in hand while running to god knows where you three were planning to head to.
“All the Kyoto students are moving together, they’re all going to the same location,” you mentioned as you continued to survey where they were heading off to with your sense still enhanced.
“You mean that’s where the target is?” Maki asked you since she didn’t have the ability to see cursed energy at all, unlike you and Fushiguro, while the divine dog decided to nudge his snout against the back of your hand leading you to rub its head causing it to emit a rubble/purr as it begins to lavish on the affection it was receiving from you.
‘Not really the best time, but why not…’
“No, unless the second-grade is especially cunning, my demon dog would have noticed it,” Fushiguro said in a stern tone causing the dog to bark once in response before returning back to the attention you were giving it. “They’re trying to kill Itadori, aren’t they?” Fushiguro rhetorically questioned, leading a sigh to come out of your mouth before you turned your head towards the predicted location where you could sense the Kyoto’s students' cursed energies.
“It’s possible,” Maki replied as her gaze moved downwards, trying to understand why they would attempt an assassination during the Kyoto Sister School Exchange Event, especially since the act of killing was prohibited as one of the main rules.
“I don’t sense that much hostility from them, but due to Itadori’s surprise survival, it is possible that Principal Gakuganji ordered then to that but to be honest, that was quite stupid of him since they don’t have the strength to even fully commit the assassination,” you quickly mentioned to your teammates leading them to look up at you with confusion on their faces.
‘I have to thank Gojo for this information later as well’
“Zenin Mai: grade three, Miwa Kasumi: grade three, Nishimiya Momo: semi-grade two, Muta Kokichi: semi-grade one, Kamo Noritoshi: semi-grade one and Todo Aoi: grade one,” you listed as you adding in their grades to make sure Fushiguro and Maki got an idea on what you were about to explain to them. “Out of all of them right now, Todo is the only one that has the capability to fight Sukuna, so Principal Gakuganji was willing to sacrifice his other students really quickly for the execution of Itadori since the rest of them wouldn’t survive,” you informed your schoolmates causing them to shudder at the fact on how informed you already were about the other students without them even ever mentioning about them to you.
“We’re turning back, guys,” Maki stated, causing you to turn to look at her before giving a nod to indicate to her that you understood what she wanted.
“Sorry,” Fushiguro unexpectedly apologised, while Maki just turned away and started to walk back in the opposite direction where everyone was running from.
“What are you apologising for, dummy? There’s no point in winning or losing the exchange event if your friend dies,” Maki said in a disappointed tone, leading to both you and Fushiguro to look at each other before starting to slowly follow her from behind leading you three to go back into the wooded area in search for the other Kyoto students, who were technically on the run now since they seemed to have failed to execute Itadori from what you could sense in the back of your mind.
‘Team Panda is probably doing the same right now since I can faintly sense Panda and Kugisaki going into the forest again, where is Inumaki though?’
                                            ꕥ
“They’re up ahead,” you informed both Fushiguro and Maki since you could feel a stronger presence of cursed energy that was in front of you, leading you to realise that there were at least two Kyoto students since the rest of them seemed to split off somewhere.
Maki turned back to you and gave you a nod before fastening her pace as she suddenly noticed a shine of blue hair coming into her view leading the weapons specialist to prepare her red spare before quickly appearing out from your guys hiding spot to attack Miwa, who quickly managed to notice your upperclassmen as she pulled out her katana from her sheath to deflect Maki’s surprise as well as incoming attacks.
“Gojo, go ahead and find the curse, I’ll take care of Kamo-san,” Fushiguro informed you to which you replied to him with a nod.
During that second, Fushiguro came out from the side and headed towards Kamo leading you to take the small time that you were given to go on ahead and search for the grade-two curse that you needed to exorcise, only to suddenly feel a presence coming from behind leading you to rapidly turn around while raising your katana at the same time, only to discover Kamo standing right in front of you with his bow making direct contact with your weapon, leading you to become confused on why the semi-grade one sorcerer would even try to sneak attack you from behind.
‘Huh?’
“You didn’t even unsheathe your weapon, that’s strange,” Kamo commented, leading you to give him a deadpan look since you didn’t want him to notice or sense your confusion right now.
“Didn’t your little principal inform you to not fight with me or are you just getting a little too confident? That attitude of yours is going to be a drag,” you stated back in a nonchalant tone.
“Kamo-san, are you guys planning to kill Itadori?” Fushiguro asked from behind causing the mentioned sorcerer to turn his head back to view the erratic-haired sorcerer, leading you to smirk before you switch your hand that was holding the katana as you swiftly pulled it back to thrust the tip of your katana into Kamo’s stomach causing him to widen his eyes in shock as an immense pain started to engulf him as his body was pushed back with vast pressure causing Fushiguro to move out of the way to avoid his body colliding with Kamo’s.
‘Don’t get distracted next time, you drag’
Holding onto his stomach, Kamo slowly looked up at you and Fushiguro before coughing out in pain since your attack was more than what he had expected.
“And if I said we were?” Kamo answered, causing you to look at him with massive suspicion in your eyes.
“You failed, then. Itadori wouldn’t go down in such a short time,” Fushiguro declared with a small praise for his friend as he raised his tonfa in a defensive pose while you just straightened yourself up since you had no worries about being attacked again.
“We have no reason to kill him,” Kamo stated with a smirk on his face causing you to turn your head to the side and scoff at him since it was hilarious that he was acting so confident after just barely managing to withstand a simple physical attack from you before you turned back to face him again.
‘What a drag~’
“Yes, you do. The higher-ups and the three major clans have plenty,” you mentioned before resting your katana over your shoulder to relax for a second since you could sense that this fight was either going to be easy or too easy for your liking.
‘It’s surprising that he is attempting to fight me though, I wonder if Gojo-sensei forgot to inform them about this little extra rule but I still need to find out about that mole...’
                                              ꕥ
“Ah~ I thought I told you to tell your students to not attempt to fight Y/N? they’re only going to get hospitalised in the process,” Gojo playfully asked, as he turned to look behind his seat to be eye to eye with the Kyoto Principal, who was in charge of informing his students about this new rule that he and Principal Yaga implemented.
“Well, she attacked Kamo, so she’s breaking the rule isn’t she?” Utahime asked as she took a sip from her cup leading Gojo to turn to look at her with a slight frown on his face.
“Well, your student did attack her first, she can’t help but retaliate since that was her normal strength right there. If it was any other student, they would have been eliminated real quick,” Gojo informed his colleague causing her eyes to widen before turning back to the screen to only discover your eyes were directly looking at her since you were directly looking at the crow that was inspecting you right now.
“She’s quite an interesting girl,” a sorcerer from behind commented as she proceeded to open her eyes. “Not only did she notice my crows looking at her since the start of the event, but she’s also quite strong, no wonder you took her in,” she mentioned as she faced forward to notice Gojo looking at her.
“She’s a tough cookie, isn’t she Mei-san?” Gojo said with a proud smile on his face before he processed to face the screens again with the smile now straightening.
‘I don’t know what he’s trying to do, but I know Y/N won’t fall for it naively, she’s more the type to manipulate his plan...besides, it’s as if she’s giving him a death glare right now’
This thought of his caused him to giggle lightly, creeping out Utahime as she stared at him in pure confusion.
‘I know she can do it’

His Shirt
Word Count: 1533
A/N: I literally have no excuse, but I’m back!
Request: Can I request something where the reader and Shayne have been seeing each other for a little while and she unknowingly wears one of his shirts to work and the whole day goes by like normal but towards the end of it, someone like Noah or something ends up questioning it like “how has no one noticed this, or mentioned it all freaking day?!” And Shayne gets shy about it but the reader just laughs it off and it’s all cute and fluffy af💕💕- Anon
Tumblr media
Over quarantine, you’d seen very little of any of your friends and coworkers. Working from home was tough, especially since you and your partner had just made the decision to move in with each other a week before the entire country had been submerged into a lockdown that stretched over a few months. The days blended together and eventually dragged on, which made you excited to return to work if anything.
The morning of your official return, you woke up extremely early, not having been able to sleep the night before due to pure excitement. You wanted to get back to filming, to doing all the things you did before going into quarantine, you missed the hustle and bustle of set life.
You were dressed before Shayne was, throwing on a button up from your shared closet as well as a pair of dark-wash jeans that only felt a little tight at the waist. You weren’t concerned, seeing as you were never really on the skinny side of fitness, you figured it was just early morning bloating that would go away as the day went on.
“Are you driving or am I?” you asked, bouncing on the balls of the feet as you waited for Shayne to pull on a thin jacket. It wasn’t fully winter yet but it also wasn’t cold enough to constitute a full coat. You had a thinner track jacket on as well, the zipper zipped only part of the way up in your hurry.
Shayne paused by you to pull up the zipper the rest of the way before pressing a kiss to your forehead. “Calm down,” he advised, pulling his mask on over the bottom half of his face. “We still have to grab breakfast before heading to the offices, Courtney asked if we could stop by that bagel place by us she likes.”
“Is it even open?” you asked, patting down your pockets to make sure you had everything. Once you were sure you had your phone, keys, and wallet, you then realized that you had completely forgotten your purse inside. You whirled around to head back inside when Shayne handed you the black bag, a knowing smirk on his face.
“They’re open for pickups only,” he told you, pulling your keys from your pocket, “and I’ll drive, I don’t feel like getting pulled over by the cops today.”
“I’m not that bad at driving,” you tried to defend yourself, hurrying after him as he walked off to the parking lot. “I just take the speed limit signs as suggestions but that doesn’t mean I’m bad at it.”
He didn’t respond, instead holding the passenger seat door open for you. His action was answer enough. You slid into the passenger seat and buckled in as he shut the door tight, running around to the other side and sliding into the driver’s seat.
“What are we going to tell them when you roll up driving my car, huh?” you questioned. “Our friends know we moved into the same apartment because it was cheaper as roommates, not because we started dating. If you roll up driving my car they’ll have questions.”
“It’ll be fine,” he tried to parlay your worries. “Besides, if you’re that concerned about it I can just say you had a headache or didn’t feel like driving after we got to the bagel shop. Not the end of the world.”
You sank back into your seat, coming to terms with the fact that Shayne was not going to let you drive. He pulled out of the parking lot as One Direction played softly in the background, the aux cord trailing from its socket to the connector on your phone as you dictated what you listened to on the way to the bagel shop.
Shayne got out of the car when you got there, heading in to pick up the order you had called ahead for on the way there. He was back before Temporary Fix ended, handing the bagels over to you as you switched over to Alec Benjamin for the rest of the ride in.
You ate your bagel on the way in, putting the vegetable spread evenly over the toasted bread and eating it as Water Fountain played. You held out a bit of your bagel, silently asking if Shayne wanted any. He took the bite, smiling when he realized you accidentally got cream cheese on his cheek. You reached out with a napkin and wiped it off before finishing the rest of your bagel.
You arrived at the offices shortly after, unplugging your phone from the aux and exiting the vehicle. Luckily, no one was outside to see the two of you enter the building. You would say you were walking a little too closely for it to be considered friendly, especially during a pandemic, but everyone knew that the two of you were close friends anyways. Walking close together wouldn’t give anything away.
“What do you have to film today?” you made small talk in the elevator, getting to your working mindset. You knew what you had to do, film a gaming video with Ian, Noah, and Courtney, as well as take a look and collaborate with the writers on a new skit idea for when production went back to being fully up and running. It would be a short day for you, which wasn’t ideal but at least you got some camera time.
Shayne looked up from his phone. “I’ve got the meeting with the crew and then some gaming videos, I think. We’re also planning for the Christmas video soon, so I’ll probably be with Wardrobe for most of the day.”
You hummed as the elevator doors opened, Shayne tucking his phone away and then sending you a wink. You felt your face burn hot as you scrunched up your nose. You reached up to fix your mask as you waited for the elevator to go up to the main office floor, heading straight for your desk where a pack of Lysol wipes and a temperature gun were waiting.
Proactive, you thought, using the wipes to clean off the surface of your desk before finally setting your things down. You took your jacket off, draping over the back of your chair before sitting. You had about thirty minutes before your call time so you checked your email and went over a few of the new safety regulations that were put in place for filming.
The most notable were the fifteen-minute COVID tests you would have to take before and after each section of filming, meaning you couldn’t enter or exit the filming area without a negative test. Honestly, that was a good thing if any. At least the company cared in that way.
Tumblr media
Filming took up the rest of your day and when you finally finished with your writer’s meeting, it was six pm. Not as early as a day as you would have hoped but you’ve definitely stayed in the studio for longer so you weren’t going to complain.
You were sitting at your desk as you waited for Shayne to finish up his meeting, casually chatting with Noah to pass the time. You were sharing one of your quarantine stories when Shayne walked in, heading straight for your desk with his things already collected.
“Are you ready to go?” he asked, adjusting her jacket. “Also, what do you want for dinner tonight because I was thinking we could have lasagna but if we want lasagna we have to stop by the market on the way.”
You laughed, pulling your jacket on. “I could go for lasagna.”
Noah looked between the two of you, slowly connecting the dots. He pointed at you, a grin on his face as realization crossed his features. “That’s Shayne’s shirt.”
You looked down, realizing that, yeah, you were wearing Shayne’s shirt. You looked over at Shayne who’s cheeks were as red as a tomato. He started stammering, offering reasons as to why you were wearing his shirt.
You just shrugged, quickly thinking for a way out. “The laundry must have gotten mixed up. Not the first time I’d accidentally worn his shirts.”
Noah gave you a look that read that he didn’t quite believe you. But he let it go, taking note of Shayne’s red cheeks and your flustered looks. He smirked, patting your shoulder as he got up.
“I’ll believe you for now,” he said, leaving the two of you to stew in your minor embarrassment.
“How long until everyone knows?” you asked Shayne who looked only mildly mortified that Noah was the first to find out. “We weren’t even keeping it a secret either… I’m proud of us anyhow.”
“I guess that means we don’t have to worry about who sees us now,” he said, looking on the bright side. “And yeah, keeping it a secret any longer would have been kinda dumb, wouldn’t it have been.”
You headed to the elevators, linking your arm through Shayne’s.
“Not excited for the fans to find out, though.”
Shayne looked at you and then looked back at the opening elevator doors. “We don’t have to tell them. It can be Smosh’s little secret.”

Color me pretty
(Bts Little space au)
Summary: When it came to the littles, the caregivers knew there was no better activity than coloring.
Tags: SFW, implied bts x reader, pure fluff, little space, little! kookie, Little! m/c, Caregivers! bts,
W/c: 1.5k
A/n: If you don’t like this kind of content please just skip over it and pay it no mind! this is very sweet and fluffy. this can be read alone, but i did use the characters from my other little space ask au titled ‘the peanut butter to my jelly’ it’s linked at the end of the fic!  i wrote this drabble in one sitting!
Tumblr media
- On the nights that Koo and the m/c are non-verbal but still feeling energetic enough to need stimulation the caregivers have a special little ritual that they like to do.
- it’s something tucked away, always ready to have on hand when they need it, it never fails to calm an overly excited or sugar high little; the blanket made out of a special material that can be washed after it’s doodled on, painted, and made new.
- On those special days, the caregivers bring around all their ‘messy blankets’ the fort making supplies that no one minds if they get ruined, if koo gets his apple sauce on it or if a sippie mistakenly gets it’s lid taken off. they make a nest in the living room with markers and crayons and they’re allowed to get the blanket as colorful as possible.
- The blanket is magic in the littles eyes! filled with simple flowers that they can color in as many times as they want! All the laundry fairy (Taehyung) has to do is pop the blanket in the washer and voila! it’s all ready for more coloring! no more marker marks.
- I just picture her and Koo stretched out on it with half of their stuffed animals for “moral support” while cartoons play in the background coloring to their hearts content. Koo gets a little younger in his headspace sometimes than the m/c though they’re pretty equal in general.
- Eventually koo just gets so small that he forgoes coloring all together, instead busying himself with sucking on the end of a marker. while the m/c just giggles with her tongue hanging out, swinging her feet, the picture of adorable concentration as she struggles to keep her pink marker inside the lines.
- Occasionally one of the caregivers will come in to check on them. And they’d come pet over their heads and koo and the m/c just excitedly gesture to the mess they’ve made! their brains too cottony to make many words other than “flower! made’ pink!!!” koo in his little sing song voice going “flower flower flower~”
- And whichever caregiver who is on “baby duty” will praise them, today it’s yoongi who takes a second to sit, each of the littles tucked under an arm. yoongi leaning in close and tracing his finger along their pretty lines. “you guys got so far today! almost all of them are filled!” he loves how puffed up both of your chests get at the praise.
- He can almost tell how far down they were when they first started coloring. on the outside border the flowers are carefully patterned, but the ones just under where you where sitting are full of wilds scribbles. Yoongi reminds himself to take a picture before they wash it, wanting to save a memory of today.
- “Oh did you make this for us little ones? I bet Joonie’s going to love it you know how much he loves nature! and you even gave each of them little stems.”
- And of course, eventually they find the m/c and koo are asleep in their little puddle of markers. Maybe the m/c has a little bit of purple splotch on her cheek. After they wake them up to put them to bed she whines softly when they clean it off her cheek “oh you poor fussy baby, don’t worry it will only take a second” her cute pout demanding a kiss for every rub.
- Eventually she presses into bed and koo kisses the faintly red spot on her face. his kiss a little wet and open mouthed but so innocent it makes the caregivers bookending them on either side coo. it’s as much of a sorry as koo can articulate right now. his mind feels like marshmellows and stuffed animals, like a too squeezed juice pouch and an empty packet of fruit snacks. totally devoid of big scary thoughts.
- The caregivers are glad they made the decision to throw out all and every permanent marker in the house after the last little incident when Koo decided that people were a viable canvas. I think their whole house would be full of little doodles from the two littles. When they get big they always blush and say that they don’t need to pin them to every available surface. But the caregivers just shush them because they honestly love their drawings.
-To the caregivers, their collection of drawings is a representation of the love they have for their two youngest. A mark of a healthy relationship- that they can give love in a way that matters to the two of them. Maybe jimin gets a tattoo of one of their flowers, a little purple one for koo and a pink one for the m/c on his hip at once point.
- Maybe one day the m/c has what they affectionately call a ‘tiny day’ where she’s small and can’t seem to snap out of it. she tries valiantly, but after that catch her pouting down at her coffee and staring wistfully at her stuffy on the bed they tell her it’s okay. she can be small today and they’ll handle all of the big thoughts.
- Of course they can’t stay home because they have a track due soon, and alas they are adults, so certain things have to be accounted for. There have been many times that the m/c has had to pretend to be at least a little big in public, luckily for the caregivers their littles are always remarkably well behaved.
- They treat it as a game, today, bunny is a secret agent and cannot be discovered by anyone, sent to protect the princess. Nothing can happen to her as long as bunny’s there. But no one can see bunny- or else his powers are nullified. It does the trick. They love to see her nodd seriously when Tae weaves the story for her. it makes their heart hurt when they catch her talking to the bunny. “i gots you.” it makes it so hard to seperate from her for the day.
- Seokjin packs up a day bag and gets her in the comfiest clothes possible and she spends the whole day quietly coloring in the corner of Joonie’s studio with her favorite bunny stuffie in her lap. She’s always careful to tuck him under her blanket and hide him whenever someone comes knocking, pretending to tap away on Namjoon’s tablet, but luckily no one pays her much mind, used to her presence.
- When the noise and the stimulation gets too much for her namjoon puts her in a pair of noise canceling headphones that play soft nature sounds and pretty soon when he turns around to check on her he finds she’s nodded off in his couch. And he gets up to fix the blanket around her before he goes back to work for a few more hours.
- She’s still asleep when the others finish up and decide to pry joonie away from work (a feat in itself) and when the others softly knock at the door she gets up, all bleary-eyed and honestly half-asleep rubbing at her eyes with a closed fist. almost tripping in happiness when she sees jungkook. hitting into his chest with a little ooof, almost tripping to get out of her blanket. So excited to see him- her favorite playmate “Koo play now!? koo get tiny!!!??”
- Already the stress is weighing on Jungkook’s shoulders, his eyes getting all misty when he sees her bunny and the blanket and just wants to regress so bad. He starts to help her clean up the day bag but seokjin and Namjoon ease him away from it.
-  “You’ve got to watch her for us Kookie, can you do that? can you be a good boy?” by now they know how to softly nudge Jungkook into his headspace and it does the trick, lets him have a task before he can truly let go. they end up giggling softly with their foreheads pressed up against each other, telling stupid little jokes that are no doubt from jin and playing with each others hands.
- On the ride Home, they both hold onto one of bunnies ears in the backseat of their car. Their heads loling by the time they pull into their safe underground parking garage ready for some snuggles and probably a nice relaxing bath for kookie because he hates feeling sweaty from practice when he’s little. He Just wants to sit and play with some bubbles and bath toys while someone runs shampoo through his hair, the soft-smelling kind that's meant for babies.
- Inevitably Koo always looks up from his bubble bath and points at himself and says “baby?” Hobi nods sagely while smoothing his hair into a goofy mohawk, “baby” he agrees.
- But that’s not exactly true- the better term would be ‘their babies’

Getting Drunk With Fred Weasley
Prompt: getting drunk w/ your boyfriend Fred would include + mini blurbs
Warning: drinking, swearing, and some suggestive wording
Word Count: 2.2k
Notes: n/a
Tumblr media
Parties are not an uncommon event in the Gryffindor common room
Alcohol and drink mixtures of all sorts are being poured left and right every weekend
Most weekend you have a drink or two while catching up with your friends after a busy week of school
Other weekends you choose the path of getting plastered alongside your boyfriend off smuggled liquor and bottle of beer
On these night in particular,
Fred does not let you out of his sight
At all
Unless of course Lee challenges him to a beer pong match then he’ll carefully usher you over the couch where he can keep an eye on you while he’s playing
Has to pause the match like 20 times to chase after you and lead you over to his side “Y/n! You know you can’t out drink Seamus- he’s Irish! C’mon, come watch me kick George and Lee’s ass. They’re so bad it takes two of them to even manage a winning shot yet somehow they still suck!”
Loves it when you cheer him on
Is constantly glancing over to reassure himself you haven’t run off again
Your distraction is heightened in this state
So he feels the need to be your second set of eyes
Which had come in handy many a times
Like when Ron dared you to touch the burning fire while he was wasted on dragon barrel brandy
“Don’t be a pussy, Y/n. Swipe your hand real fast and you won’t even feel a thing-” “Y/n, pull your hand away from that fire, love. Ron, what the fuck? Are you trying to set my girlfriend up in flames? Angel, Ron is an idiot, you know that, don’t do anything he says again.” “Hey!”
And the time when you all were playing strip poker and Fred quite literally threw himself on top of your body to cover your chest when George teased you to take your bra off and your hands reached back for the clasps
(( he bitched at George for five minutes straight for that suggestion ))
Fred knew you were not one to back down from a challenge, especially when drunk and not considering the consequences or regret that would follow
So he always made sure you never embarrassed yourself too much or did anything you’d be wanting to take back come morning
During any Gryffindor party, Fred is the life of it
When he’s not preoccupied fawning over you, he’s hopping around with George seeking out trouble
The man throws back liquor like its water
Claims he knows his limits, but he really doesn’t
He is a touchy drunk
Hands brushing through your hair as you chat on the couch
Arms wrapped around your shoulder as you laugh along with your friends
Fingers laced in yours whenever you’re near
He craves your touch even more so when the liquor taints his veins
Let’s be real, Fred is not exactly the type of boyfriend to try to get you to stop drinking
He still makes sure you’re safe and not over drinking but,
Most of the times,
He’s the one pouring the shots for you
And mixing the drinks
But he always knows when to stop, and when you’ve had enough to drink
He tries to mentally keep note of how many drinks you've had but loses track once he reaches about five on his own end
Sometimes he’ll silently swap out your glass of whiskey for a glass of pumpkin juice
It’s obvious to Fred that he made the right choice when he watched as you sipped gleefully on the juice, not making a single comment on the dramatic change in taste
In these moments he begins to prepare himself for a night of babysitting you
And he’s so sweet in helping you on the nights when you go an inch- or ten- overboard
Carries you up to your bed and helps you change out of your clothes and into new ones for bed
He gets you wipes to take of your makeup, if you’re wearing any, and he’ll sit you between his legs on your bed while he brushes through your hair
After you’re properly ready for bed, Fred makes sure to set a glass of water on your nightstand incase you get thirsty and a bag of crackers if you get hungry
Stays the night without question when you ask
Other times he stays regardless of if you do or don’t
Your roommates don’t mind seeing as he takes care of you meaning they don’t have to
He’ll lay on his back and usher you over to place you head on his chest
His fingertips will soothingly trail up and down you back, lulling you into a deep sleep with the rhythmic motion
Tries his best to make sure you fall asleep first
Drunk Fred really has no control over his sleep habits and has a tendency to pass out from sudden exhaustion at any moment
One second him and George are fucking around with partygoers, supply them with different products of theirs, and causing pure chaos
The next second Fred was snoozing away while he laid on the couch with his head in your lap
Then he was back up an going again
Like a toddler on a sugar high
He’s such a giggly drunk
Kisses to the tip of your nose
Always smiling over at you and complimenting you
“Have I told you how breathtaking you look tonight?” “Only ten times, but I’m okay with elven.” “Let’s make it twelve, you looks absolutely stunning- so pretty, and all mine.”
The boy can’t help it, you make him feel weightless with happiness sober and the feeling only intensifies when he’s been drinking
There are nights when Fred can’t seem to taste the scorching burn of the liquor anymore after about six shots and it these nights where George and yourself are left dragging him up the stairs
George will beg you to stay the night because he can’t handle Fred’s drunken rambling about how much he misses you
And you agree because, how could you say no to Fred’s adorable puppy dog eyes and grabby hands longing for you to cuddle with him
If you two are both drunk, you’ll stay up talking- or rather whispering- under his comforter
He’ll stumble over his words and jumps from topic to topic in the blink of an eye
Uncontrollable giggles as he whispers- or rather stutters- out the most confusing jokes you’ve ever heard
Like
“Angel, angel…” “Yes, Freddie?” “What happens when a toad’s car breaks down?” “I dunno…” “It gets froged!” “I’m sorry, come again? Isn’t it meant to be the frog’s car that breaks down and it gets ‘toad’...not ‘froged’?”
But he’s out like a light before you can get an explanation
He breathes like darth vader when he’s in his drunken slumber
Yet its somehow comforting in an odd way
Like it reminds you that he’s there holding you
And also that he’s still alive, which is surprising at times with the amount of drinks he consumes in one night
If you think Fred acts reckless sober, he thinks he’s invincible when he’s drunk which is even worse
He’ll agree to almost anything
If Ron were to tell him he bet Fred wouldn’t jump from the Astrology Tower all the way down to the courtyard? Fred would do it just in spite of him
The only time this attitude of his had gotten him into trouble was when Fred, George and Lee came up with the grand idea to go down the boy’s dormitory staircase on mattresses
Fred, being the brilliant man he is, decided to go first
You had been gossiping away in the common room to Hermione about a new Muggle actor the two of you had seen in a film when you heard the loud crashing, followed by the voice you loved so much groaning in agony
By the time you reached the opening to the stairwell, George and Lee were aiding Fred down the stone steps, carefully avoiding his ankle which had been twisted in an inhuman position
Madam Pomfrey surprisingly kept hum about Fred’s intoxication and instead scolded him for hours on end about his reckless, mindless choice to try to slide down, winding, steep, stone steps
Once news reached the professors the nest morning, McGoagall dismissed 40 points from Gryffindor for the incident
Using your mattress to surf down the twirling stairwell has since been prohibited
On a separate occasion Fred had accident lit the edge of the curtain on fire
You can always tell when he’s reached that level by the volume in his tone
It tends to get deeper the more intoxicated he becomes
And his words slowly slur together into a string of blabber
Mostly compliments, sweet words, and sometimes suggestive ones as well
Fred gets a bit more… forward when he’s got that liquid courage soaring through him
His hands will start to roam slowly from around your waist to your lower back, then resting on your bum
He gets turned on watching you play beer pong for some reason
Especially when you win
Maybe it’s the view he’s graced with when you bend to bounce the pin pong ball
Or the feistiness that arises when the match gets hot
It’s more than enticing for him
Fred can feel his frame get stiffer everytime you bend across the table to retrieve the cup and chug the beer from it
When the round has ceased and you’re declared champion yet again, Fred steps forward to pull you in for a hug
As he gives you a kiss on the cheek, he whispers,
“Good girl! Now if you beat George again I’ll give you a special surprise later tonight, angel.”
Which makes your knees weak like jell-o as your frame pushes into his for support
It doesn’t help that you can feel just how excited he is through the denim of his jeans
Fred dips his head to plant a trail of wet, teasing kisses along the skin of your warm neck until George was groaning and pleading for you to start the match
You practically shook for the entirety of the game, still managing to sink almost every shot into a cup forcing George to drink for the majority of it
He ended up tapping out once you nailed the seventh cup in a row and kept your winning streak alive due to his need to find a trash can immediately
You stopped there to join Fred by his side as he smiled to you, clearly pleased that you won
“Looks like someone is getting rewarded tonight.”
His arm draped around your shoulder as you leaned into his side, your cheeks flaring from the mass of bodies but mostly from Fred’s suggestive promise
He only forced you to suffer through the party for another ten minutes or so before pouring one last shot for the both of you, then nearly pushing you up the winding stairs to his dorm
Lets just say he certainly fulfilled on his promise- more than once that night
Loves it when you sit in his lap when you’re on the couch together
Whispers dirty secrets into your ear
Drunk Fred leaves hickies under the clothes
He’s not the type to care who’s around, he’ll try to slide his hand up your skirt in front of nearly anyone when he’s inebriated
“Fred- you’re brother is sitting right there, stop it!” “Shhhh, angel. He’s not even watching, right George?” “Right, Fred.” “See?”
To which you glare dangerous at him as you place his hand back in his lap, but Fred continues to smirk in amusement
It’s like you’re a preschool teacher constantly having to tell a child to keep their hands to themselves, Fred just refuses to listen
Fred doesn’t necessarily get jealous of other guys
He trusts you and he’s confident enough in your relationship not to feel threatened by other guys
However he is possessive af over you when he’s been drinking
In a sweet way tho
Literally wants all your time and attention when he’s drunk
If you don’t feel like dancing, he’ll ask you to come watch him dance
When you say you need to use the bathroom, he’ll ask a million times if you want him to come with
If George places a bet against Fred in a game of cards, Fred will drag you over to sit next to him as Seamus shuffles the deck and prepares the table
He’ll show you his cards and tell you to pick one
Even though he knows you’re completely unaware of the rules to the game, he loves the smile of excitement that appears on your face when he lets you
And in the rare times that you do say no, he works his magic with those big doe eyes and pouty lip until you say yes
It brings him comfort when you’re by his side
Your nights end the same each day, wrapped in his arms listening to the relaxing thump of his heart as the two of you doze off, both silently dreading the awaiting hangover than would surely greet you first thing in the morning, but you wouldn’t want it any other way

homecoming (levi ackerman)
↯ pairing: levi ackerman x (fem) reader
↯ genres and warnings: college au, how many ways can i fit levi’s captain status into the modern world, fluff
↯ notes: i love levi :// and i’m out of gifs to put at the top of these, so when i learn how to make headers i’ll let you guys know. also this isn’t proofread rip in peace
↯ summary: there’s a pretty well known homecoming tradition, and levi’s hoping you’re willing to partake in it.
Tumblr media
“So,” you hum, wiping away any crumbs from your mouth, “Are you going to tell me exactly why you wanted to have a picnic at 2:30 in the afternoon on a random Thursday, or am I supposed to wait for a grand reveal?”
Levi rolls his eyes, and sips on his wine, ignoring your incoming giggles. “Can’t I want to take you on a date?” he clicks his tongue, setting his, now empty, plastic wine cup onto the picnic blanket, “Ungrateful brat.”
You smack him on the arm, mouth open in offense; but Levi’s chuckling, shoulder’s shaking at your reaction. “I am a very grateful brat,” you correct him, “But I am also very suspicious one.”
Levi hums, not bothering to reply. Instead, he separates the two halves of his sandwich, wraps one half around a napkin, and hands it to you. You accept it, albeit a little hesitantly, and watch as Levi pays you no mind, biting into his half neatly.
If it were any normal situation, you’d probably try to snap a picture of him—you have somewhat of an ongoing collection of sneaky pictures of Levi on your dates, particularly when he looks cute munching on his food, much to his disdain—but this was not a normal situation.
Levi is acting strange. It’s not just the nature of this date itself—it may be out of character for Levi to want to go on a picnic of all things, but could be quite the romantic at heart, and often planned very quaint dates for the both of you. It was everything that happened since you set up your picnic that was truly out of the ordinary.
Like the way he seemed distracted, getting lost in thought in a way you hadn’t seen before; and how he kept sweeping his hair out of his eyes, and readjusting his small silver earring. If you didn’t know any better, you would think he’s nervous about something.
“Seriously,” you say lightly, carefully setting your half-eaten portion of the sandwich back onto the blanket, “What’s this all about?”
Levi looks at you for a beat, once again using his free hand to brush his dark hair behind his ear, then with suspecting eyes, “You don’t like it?”
Your eyebrows draw together at his questioning, confused by the lack of sarcasm, or even hurt in his tone; like he was genuinely surprised.
“What? No, Levi, that’s not what I meant,” you assure him, “I just mean that this isn’t really us. You hate eating outside—you always make us wait for indoor seating—and, if I’m being honest, I’ve never seen a couple go on a picnic in real life.”
Levi reaches to pour more cheap wine into your faux glasses, “I guess romance really is dead.”
You squint your eyes, carefully tracking his movements as he hands you a plastic cup before refilling his own. Levi isn’t one to dodge questions, or any kind of confrontation. Now you know for sure that something’s up.
“Levi,” you call gently, feeling like you finally have his full focus when his eyes meet yours, “What’s going on?”
His gaze softens at your question this time, and you finally see a hint of the Levi you know behind his expression. He sighs, carefully closing the boxed wine, and taking his cup into his hand. With a slight head nod, he motions for you to come closer, and you obiiently shuffle closer to him, until you’re sitting side by side.
You take the liberty of resting your head on his shoulder, cheek soft against his coat. You can hear him take a deep breath, feel his exhale deflate his shoulders, before he speaks.
“Homecoming is next weekend,” he starts, “You’re going, yeah?”
You hum in affirmation, watching as he takes a careful sip from his cup before continuing.
“There’s this tradition. It’s stupid as shit, if you ask me, so you don’t have to say yes,” he mumbles, lips barely off of the plastic, before he takes another sip. “But, if you’re dating someone, they’re supposed to show up to the game in your jersey.”
You snap your head up from his shoulder, blinking at Levi and the implications of his words, as you begin to piece together the mystery of his actions from this afternoon. Levi—your Levi—took you on a picnic, complete with homemade sandwiches and cheap wine, to ask you to be his date to his homecoming game.
Your stunned silence is filled with light breeze that brushes past your hair, and makes Levi return to brushing his away again. He drinks in your expression, grey eyes growing cloudy as he assumes the worst of your silence.
“Like I said, you don’t have to if you don’t want to,” he explains cooly, bringing his cup to his mouth again for a bitter sip, “I didn’t know if you were going to stick around for the whole day anyways, you’ve probably got other shit to—”
You kiss him quiet. Levi is surprised at first, jolts a little bit when your actions cause him to spill some of his drink, but he kisses you back, a small wave of relief washing over him. At least he didn’t make a complete fool of himself just now.
“Of course I’ll wear your jersey, Levi.”
Tumblr media
Most parents and alumni stuck around for the traditional football game, but the boys’ soccer team was always popular amongst students, and for good reason.
Not only did the university’s team have an exceptional record, but they had no shortage of eye-candy playing for them, either. Even the team’s managers were pretty cute. You were certain players like Armin Arlert and Eren Jaeger were not plastered all over the university website solely for their soccer skills.
Though, good looks aside, they were undeniably good, and made a damn impressive pair on the field. However, most of the crowd would agree that Jaeger, Arlert, and the entire team, could thank their captain for their win today.
You step onto the field with a wide grin as you watch Levi’s team wrangle him into the middle of their circle and toss him up in the air unceremoniously. You almost want to capture the moment for yourself, but to your left, Hange is already recording a video you’re certain Levi would threaten to have deleted.
Most of the mob had fizzled away after the exciting win, leaving behind the team themselves, and a couple of students—likely friends or family of the athletes. After their final huddle, the boys begin to dissipate, greet the remaining crowd. Hange leaves you to badger Erwin, who had been sitting out due to an injury.
You spot Levi carefully picking up his duffel bag, and take the opportunity to run up to him, encase in a sudden and warm hug. You wrap your arms around his neck, and Levi has but a moment’s notice to secure his hands around your back and steady your bodies, lest you both fall to the ground from your uncoordinated momentum.
“You played so well!” you exclaim, pulling back from your hug, but keeping your palms on his shoulders, bouncing excitedly, “I knew you were good, but I didn’t know you were that good! You’ve never played like that before!”
Levi admits to tuning out your praise in favor of drinking in your appearance. The green of his away jersey looks good against your skin, the fabric somewhat loose on your frame. His eyes trail down to the sleeve, a minuscule smirk growing on his lips as he reads his last name in all capital letters underneath his number.
“Come on, Hange and I are taking you guys out for lunch!” your words snap him back to reality, “Anything you want, it’s on me, Captain.”
Levi rolls his tongue against his inner cheek. That’s a promise he’d have to take you up on later. For now, he plays along with your childlike enthusiasm, agreeing to your plans.
He motions for the two of you to get going, but his stride is blocked when you refuse to move from in front of him. Instead, you let your hands crawl from his shoulder to his neck, fingers tickling the hairs at his nape, before you pull him forward into a gentle kiss.
“You really were great, Levi,” you tell him again, pressing another kiss to his lips sweetly.
Levi hums, indulging you one more time, before he hears gasps and not-so-subtle exclamations of “Captain has a girlfriend?!” coming from his annoying teammates. He scoffs when he pulls back to see Jaeger looking at him with his mouth open so wide he could catch flies.
“You’re kind of ruining my reputation,” Levi tells you, but there’s no real bark to his tone.
It’s your turn to scoff, slowly trailing your hands down his arms, and eventually back to your side. You turn and the both of you begin to walk, not before you note, “You ruined your own reputation when you invited me and Hange here.”
“I’ll drink to that.”
“Hey!” you whine, frown deepening as Levi chuckles at you, “You’re not supposed to agree, asshole.”
Levi doesn’t stop laughing, but gently wraps his arms around your shoulder as the both of you follow behind Hange and Erwin, and back to your car.
“Don’t think your unusual displays of affection are going to make me forgive you,” you pout, but reach your hand to wrap your fingers around his anyways; Levi doesn’t even bother to hide his smirk, “I don’t care if you scored the winning goal or not, just for that, I’m only buying you one appetizer.”
Levi hums noncommittally. That’s fine, he could think of at least three other things he would rather you do for him instead when you both got home. With and without that jersey on.

Jealousy
Lee Donghyuck/Haechan X Reader | Smut, Fluff, Drama | NC-17 | College AU Summary: It comes as a nice surprise when you saw your ex-boyfriend at your workplace and you thought everything was going to be fine. You both have moved on, right? Unfortunately for you, your boyfriend, Lee Donghyuck, thinks otherwise.
Warnings: rough unprotected sex, oral sex, slight choking, slight dirty talk, this is just pure filth you guys I’m so sorry I had too much feels
It’s the continuation of Before Our Story Began but can still be read separately if you want.
Tumblr media
It has been months since you first dated Lee Donghyuck, also popularly known as Lee Haechan, and things were great—more than great, even, but all good things have come to an end at one point. Your relationship with Haechan is still going pretty strong, but now that you have passed the Honeymoon Phase—where it’s all just sex and raw passion—things can sometimes get a little tense.
While he’s been certainly fun and charming for the most times you’ve been together, not to mention adventurous when it comes to sex, Haechan can be really stubborn and selfish that you often start to bicker with him over the simplest of things.
Like yesterday, for example.
“Look, I said I’m sorry!” He whined and you held yourself back from rolling your eyes because that was so him and it wasn’t really cute anymore. Especially after he arrived an hour late at the cafe that he’d asked you to meet a day before.
“I’m not angry,” you stated, emptying the rest of your coffee. On the other side, Haechan’s ice americano was still pretty much full considering he just got there and you had ordered the drink for him an hour before, thinking that he was going to be on time for your date. But no, he was so into the new online game Jaemin had told him about a week ago that he began to lose track of time. It seemed to you that was all he’d been doing for the last few days, and you were fine with giving him some personal space but clearly not if he was wasting your precious time instead. Not everybody is as smart as him when it comes to keeping good grades. Maybe he doesn’t have to study much, but you do.
“You are! You’re totally angry!” He pointed out and you sighed because of course, I’m angry, you idiot, I had to spend an hour by myself doing literally nothing because you asked me to go out when I’m supposed to be working on my papers that’s due tomorrow but you kept yourself in silence. You had to be the adult in the relationship, especially when you’re dating a goddamn brat.
“Whatever.” You placed back your phone—which had been your only companion—into your purse and wore back your coat. “I have to go.”
His eyebrows—his thick, beautiful eyebrows that you love so much (though not that day) were knitted in both desperation and annoyance from how you acted. “Noona!” He wailed, grabbing your hand when you stood up from your seat. “What do you want me to do? If I could go back to the past, I would, but I can’t and you being unreasonably angry like this isn’t—”
“Unreasonably?”
Haechan’s jaw hung slackly on his face when he noticed the anger radiating off your body. You were angry before but not this angry. “I’m sorry, that came out wrong.”
You clicked your tongue in irritation, pulling your hand out of his grip. “I’ll see you later, Donghyuck.” It was cold, the way you said it, and Haechan sensed that. But being the whiny brat that he was, he just kept on shouting back, gathering people’s attention.
“Can’t we be adults and talk about this—Yah!” When you didn’t answer—or even glanced back at him—he threw his hands in the air, yelling, “You know what? Fine! I don’t really want to hang out with you anyway! In fact, it’s actually better for me if we don’t hang, ever!”
But you already had your feet out of the door.
On the next day, he came by to your dorm at four in the morning, making your roommate groan with a hellish fire burning in her eyes. “If that’s your boyfriend, I am going to kill him.”
“Don’t bother, I will,” you muttered in response before you stepped down from your bed, turned on the lighting (which earned another loud groan from your friend), and reached for the door. Haechan stood there with his hair looking like a bird’s nest, his cheeks reddening from the morning cold, and his eyes bleary from lacking sleep.
“I’m sorry,” he softly said in all of the sincerity he could emit. “I’ve been an asshole.”
“It’s four in the morning, Haechan-ah.”
“I know, but I can’t sleep thinking about what happened before and I don’t think I can before you forgive me.” He did his best pout. It was cute, but not cute enough to wash your vexation away. “Also, it’s raining heavily outside, if you haven’t noticed, so I thought it would add some dramatic effects to my apology.”
“You’re not wet though.”
“Neither were you before you met me,” he joked, wiggling his eyebrows but when he noticed you glaring at him in reticence—oh if looks could kill—he flinched and hastily added, “Sorry, bad timing. I don’t know why I said that. Well, umm, it was kinda cold when I stepped under the rain so I decided to just bring an umbrella with me.” He suddenly seemed like he remembered something. “Oh yeah, can I leave it here? I’ve got an early class today and I don’t really want to carry it with me everywhere.”
That earned another flat stare from you. “You’re not taking any of this seriously, are you?”
“I am! I swear!” He squeaked, shuffling inside his bag before he took out a white box with a red bow wrapped around it. “Look, I brought you some chocolates.”
“I’m on a diet.”
“Well, now, how am I supposed to know?”
“I literally told you that yesterday.” To say he was testing your patience would be an understatement at that point. “Remember? When you arrived late on our date and you asked why aren’t you ordering anything and I said I’m on a fucking diet!”
“Yo, chill, I was just trying to be nice.” Haechan grabbed you by the shoulders, massaging the sore spots and it would probably feel good if you weren’t so pissed-off over his antics. “Also, Noona, don’t you know? Men have a harder time remembering things than women do. And that’s just scientifically speaking, not me.”
You exhaled so loudly into the air, slapping his hands away. “Look, it’s literally four in the morning. Can we talk again when the sun is up? Like normal people?”
“Noona, pleaseeeeee.” He threw his head back in exasperation. “I said I’m sorry! What else do you wa—”
“JUST FORGIVE HIM FOR FUCK’S SAKE! YOU GUYS ARE TAKING FOREVER AND YOU’RE GIVING ME HEADACHES!” Maybe you and Haechan were getting a bit loud, but your roommate was just shouting like she was about to march on a war so you didn’t really have the choice. It was either take your boyfriend’s apology or have your roommate kill both you and your boyfriend at the same time.
Haechan sheepishly and annoyingly smiled at you. “She’s got a point, you know.”
But, of course, he does learn his lesson from time-to-time so things don’t always end up in fights. And Haechan can be considerate, if he wants, noticing the little things that you do. Like when you’re wearing a new skirt (or new underwear, for that matter), giving you his jacket when you sniffle from the cold (as cheesy as that sounds, it does make your heart flutter a bit), or intertwining your fingers together when you’re nervous before your presentation.
Hopefully today this considerate version of his comes out to play again because there’s something you want to talk about with him.
“I think I need to start looking for a part-time job,” you say, sighing contently as he has his lips on your neck, suckling on the soft skin. Your fingers are playing with the soft strands of his hair, unconsciously tugging at them when he brings his tongue into the game. You know it’s not really the best time to have this conversation—especially not when he has his hand under your shirt as you sit on his lap at the back of his car—but with Haechan, it’s almost always like this whenever you’re alone with him so you don’t really have that many options. “I’m running out of money.”
“From dumping too many dead bodies in the swamp?” He chuckles next to your ear, unbuttoning more of your shirt and pushing the fabric off your shoulder. “Babe, I’ve told you,” he mouths against your skin. “You gotta search for a new swamp that’s free of charge—”
“Shut up.” But you’re laughing anyway. This inside joke you two have has become somewhat of a routine—a topic that pops out anytime in any conversation.
You can feel his grin pressing against the sensitive skin below your ear. “Told ya this swamp thing could be our thing.”
“No, I’m serious.” But despite that, you have to hold back a moan when you feel his hand roaming around your chest, his fingers slipping underneath your bra. You can’t tell him exactly why you need this job because you don’t want him to feel sorry for you. But the truth is, your parents back home have been having financial problems and you know how costly your college tuition can get. You just want to help out, even if it’s not much, and try to survive on your own without using your parents’ money. “I need some pocket money.”
Haechan has your earlobe between his teeth, his breathing feels warm and extremely sexy in your ears. “Mmm, for what?”
“To buy personal things.”
“What personal things?”
“Like…” You bite your lower lip, having the hardest time concentrating when he starts to play with your nipple, his thumb brushing against the sensitive bud. “I don’t know, like girl things.”
Haechan suddenly pulls away, looking you straight in the eyes with his own gleaming in excitement. “You mean like a customized dildo?”
“Make-up, Donghyuck.” You flatly stare back. All your sexual excitement from before? Gone. “I mean, make-up.”
“Sure, that too. But,” he insists and you roll your eyes, knowing where this is going. “Have you ever considered playing with a dildo in your spare time? Because I have. I mean, picturing you using it. Not me using it in my ass, oh God, no.”
“Are you done?”
“No, seriously.” It turns out, he’s not finished. And he still has a long way to go, judging by the enthusiastic look in his eyes. “Because I would totally buy it for you if it’s a dildo you need. Or any sex toys, for that matter. No matter how expensive it is, I’ll pay! I’ll save up some money and buy some so we can use them together in the future!”
He’s making it look like he’s talking about buying a house for your future marriage and it’s cute and disgusting at the same time so you stop him by pinching the bridge of his nose. It’s pathetic, the way he whines, but as long as it can stop him from sputtering nonsense, you’ll do it again.
“Why do you need make-up anyway?” He eventually gives up, rubbing his red nose, still wincing from the pain. “You’re already pretty without it.” And it really does sound sincere, the way he says it. Haechan flirts a lot, even when you’ve been together for months, he still does it pretty often. But he does have his sincerity from time to time, just like now, and you can’t help but blush a little because of it.
“Well, I’m more confident with it.”
“Well, of course, you do look smoking hot with your make-up on, don’t get me wrong,” he adds, lazily circling his arms around your waist as he leans his back to the car’s seat. “But you’re beautiful the way you are too. Like, you literally can wear that I woke up like this shirt every morning and you won’t find me complaining.”
“You complained about my morning breath this morning.”
“That you should work on.”
“Asshole.” You push a palm against his face, which he licks playfully like a dog. This is your favorite Haechan, if you have to be honest, with his lips pulled back showcasing a boyish grin, his eyes sparkling as he gazes at you, and his voice sounding light and airy with a hint of teasing in his words. And of course, also with the way he has his hair slightly pushed back, his forehead shown and his eyebrows raised whenever he throws flirty lines at you.
You really should consider yourself lucky to be able to call someone like him, who has the perfect balance of cute and sexy, as your boyfriend.
“I really like you,” you say, abruptly out of nowhere that it surprises you too. Haechan’s laughter stops almost immediately, his eyes searching yours. There’s silence hanging in the air, slowly suffocating you, and you’re about to beg him to say something when he smiles, so gentle and soft, with his hand reaching up to cup your cheek, rubbing comforting circles with his thumb.
“I really like you too,” he says, almost like he’s sighing. His eyes go up-and-down your face, switching from your eyes and your lips. “I like you so much that it drives me crazy sometimes.”
It’s insane how fast he can turn your steady heart rate into something that beats too loudly for your ears. “Okay, stop right there. I can’t with all this cheesiness you’re throwing at me. Let’s just make-out.”
And that sexy smirk of his grows back almost immediately. “I won’t argue with that.”
***
It’s not easy getting a job these days, especially when you don’t really have a set of skills you can be proud of but luckily enough, you’ve found a part-time job as a waiter at a family restaurant nearby. The salary is slightly below your expectation so maybe you have to recalculate your budgeting again but beggars can’t be choosers. You thought it should be enough for now. And the most important thing is, you only have to work three days a week so you can fit in well with your campus’ schedule.
The only remaining problem is your boyfriend because, believe it or not, he demands more time than all of your classes and assignments combined.
“I can’t believe we have our Netflix account renewed like two months ago and yet we haven’t watched anything on it,” Haechan complains, a bag of popcorn on his lap. He’s in his black sweat pants, hair all tousled from lying around on the bed all day. He’s already munching more than he should, even way before you can log in to your Netflix account. “At this point, we’re just throwing our money away.”
“Don’t blame me,” you retort, taking the bowl into your arms so you can climb into his lap, snuggling close to his chest. “I’m not the one who got my dick hard during the first half of literally every movie we decided to watch together.”
“You literally rubbed your ass against my crotch every single time. What a man gotta do in that situation?”
A smile creeps up your face. That you certainly did. It’s just so funny to have him flinch every now and then whenever you move slightly in his arms so you often just exaggerate your movements a bit, sometimes leaning forward in a suggestive way whenever you tried to change the brightness of your MacBook screen—so Haechan could take a good look of your ass—before settling back between his legs, making sure to give him enough friction as you slid down. Or sometimes you just laid your head on his shoulder, pressing a random kiss to his neck, and just went back to watching the screen as if you didn’t do anything. It really didn’t take long before Haechan groaned in exasperation, threw the bowl away, tackled you down to the bed, and pulled your shorts down your legs.
“Should I move away then?” You offer. “We can stay, like, five feet apart from each other as we watch this.”
“Nah.” He shakes his head, pulling you closer again to his chest. “I like to snuggle. You’re warm and you smell really good, it comforts me. Besides, having sex with you is so much better than watching every movie out there.”
“Even better than watching The Kissing Booth?”
“Yah!” The way his cheeks turn scarlet almost immediately is too cute for you to handle. “You promised you wouldn’t make fun of me! See, this is why I—”
You cut him off with a chaste kiss, letting your lips linger on his the way he likes it before you pull away and pat him on the cheek. “I’m sorry, I couldn’t help it. Forgive me?”
Haechan unconsciously juts his lower lip out, just a little. “Fine,” he mutters, wrapping his arms tighter around your waist before he skims his nose along the nape of your neck. “Only because you’re cute,” he whispers.
“Oh right, that reminds me,” you say, closing your eyes as you listen to his breathing. It’s somewhat calming your nerves, after a long day of doing… well, nothing, actually. “I’ll be busy every Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday from now on so we won’t be able to hang out during those days.”
“What?!” He shrieks, almost turning you deaf. “Why?!”
“Because I have my part-time job, didn’t I tell you that before?” You can honestly hear your ears ringing from the loudness of his voice. “Or did you not listen to me again?”
“I can handle it if you work during the weekdays, but on the weekends too?” He’s actually looking pretty upset, though not that you haven’t expected him to be. “That’s our time! How can you do that to me? To us?! This is so not fair!”
You roll your eyes. “Stop being a drama queen. You literally spent the last weekend playing Overwatch at Jaemin’s place.”
“Whoa, hey,” he crows, pulling away from you with both hands raised in the air and forcing you to turn and look at him in the eyes. You do it as you nonchalantly munch on your popcorn, enjoying how dramatic your boyfriend can be at times like this. “Once again, lady,” he stresses on the word, narrowing his eyes at you. “They were holding a very, very important Anniversary Event and that does not happen every day. It’s not like I have any other choice! They were giving out new skins and other rewards!”
“Your choice was to spend your Saturday night with your fingers on your keyboard or in me. That was your choice.”
Haechan opens his mouth to say something, already holding out one finger in the air as if he’s about to make a good excuse but he fails almost immediately when your point begins to sink in his head. “You’re right,” he admits, “I’m sorry. What was I thinking? I should’ve been wiser.”
You pat his hair as you would do to a child. “Look, we can still hang out. I only work during the day, you know. You can always pick me up after work and we can get dinner together or something.”
He pouts, lowering his head as he murmurs, “It’s still not the same, though. I like spending time with you.”
You can feel your heart flutter from the way he says his line so genuinely. “Me too, Haechannie. Let’s just promise to always meet up on the weekends after I’m done with my work.”
The pout still does not falter away but it’s nothing a kiss can’t fix.
***
“Haechannie, I really need to go.” You struggle to slip yourself away from his long arms, holding back a laugh as you do it, and you almost reach the end of his bed but your boyfriend easily hooks an arm around your waist and pulls you back into his chest.
After not seeing each other for five days, you could finally see your boyfriend with his dazzling bright smile in person when he picked you up after work on a Saturday evening. You didn’t realize how much you’d missed him until he snatched you back into his embrace, intoxicating you with his amazing scent and airy laughter that sounds like music to your ears. It was a good thing being separated for a few days like that because Haechan became much more clingy in the most adorable way, following you around like a lovesick puppy. Even during sex, he was all giggly and soft, gently asking you how you feel, whether he was being too fast, or simply just telling you how beautiful you look even when you were pretty much exhausted from work. It was a nice change.
Both of you are still pretty much naked from the morning shower you just took together—or rather, the morning shower you took when suddenly your boyfriend came barging in, greasily saying, “My, my, there’s a naked lady in my shower. This must be my lucky day,” and ended up moaning against your mouth instead of washing the soap off your body.
“I’m not done with you yet,” he says, smiling into the kiss just like you do and you let him part your lips with his, slowly slipping his tongue in and tasting the roof of your mouth. “Oh man, I must be a freak for being so turned on from the fact that you’re wearing my shampoo.”
“You’ve always been a freak,” you snicker, pushing his face away with your palm. “Now, get off me. Jaemin can come back any second.”
“Jaemin’s too busy sucking Jeno’s morning wood, I’m sure. He won’t be back anytime soon.”
“Well, my shift is starting in thirty minutes.”
“Which leaves us twenty-nine minutes and fifty seconds to get each other off and ten seconds for you to get ready.” He lowly chuckles, his voice still sounding quite deep from sleep as he nips against the column of your neck.
“I’m serious…” You can tell that your voice becomes way less convincing. It’s just Haechan feels so warm and he smells so good, you have to literally offer your best effort to deny him and his touches. You’re still in the middle of putting in that so-called effort when you notice he’s sucking on the supple skin, to the point it begins to hurt a little bit. “Don’t suck too hard! You’ll leave bruises and I am not gonna wear a scarf again.”
“Good,” he murmurs against your skin. “So everyone will know you’re mine.”
“I’m serious.”
“So am I.”
You sigh, tangling your fingers around his hair, arching your back to press your body closer to him. “You can be too possessive sometimes, do you know that?”
“Any man would if their girlfriend is as pretty as you,” he replies, pulling away from you a little so he can bore his eyes into yours. “Stay with me today.”
As much as you want to, especially with that hooded eyes looking at you with so much passion and desire, you have to be the responsible adult for today. “I can’t, Haechannie.”
“Noona~” His serious demeanor falters, and the whiny brat that he is comes back to the surface again. “Pleaseeee~ I’m lonely and I’m hard, can’t you just be kind to me for just one day?”
“Are you using your aegyo on me to get a quickie? Seriously?”
“What, it’s not working?” He tilts his head to the side, looking at you with that sexy smirk and his eyebrow raised seductively. “I thought aegyo was your thing.”
No, but your goddamn smirk and eyebrow raise surely are. “Fuck, okay, ten minutes. Can we finish in ten minutes?”
“I can guarantee that you will.” His smirk grows wider, licking his lower lip. “But I’m not sure if you can make me.”
“Is that a challenge?” You push him with both hands until he falls back to the bed, with you straddling his lap. “I’m going to make you take your words back, Lee Donghyuck, you better be prepared.”
***
You’ve broken two plates so far, and you’re sure you’re about to be fired if you even do a tiny mistake in the next hour but you try to keep yourself calm and composed and promise yourself to do better. It’s not that you’re a lousy waiter—okay, maybe a bit from the lack of experience—but the restaurant you’re working in can be surprisingly packed during lunch hours and it’s really taking all that you have to carry three porcelain plates on a tray as you walk on high heels that are killing you in every step you take. You often complain about the blisters at the back of your heels when you sit next to Haechan in his car, which usually ends up with him massaging your feet, while mumbling, “See, this is why you should’ve agreed with me when I told you about buying dildos. I would work my ass off to pay for that, and you can just lie around in my room all day.”
You’re getting better at your job the more days go by, and you’re much confident now in talking with customers. You’re already standing pretty in your uniform with a menu book in your arms, ready to greet the next customer but when the front door opens, all of your professionalism just goes straight out of the window.
“No way…” Your jaw hangs loosely on your face, eyes blinking twice in surprise. You can’t believe what you’re seeing. There, walking through the entrance door of the restaurant, is your ex-boyfriend from high school, Jeong Jaehyun. Dressed perfectly in a light blue buttoned-up shirt and a pair of black khaki pants, Jaehyun looks much, much better than how you remembered him to be. His dark hair stands in contrast to his pale skin, his veins appearing along his wrists and you have to remind yourself to stop staring and proceed with your work.
You take hesitant steps to meet him, swallowing your nervous breath and hoping that you don’t look as awkward as you think. You almost trip on your own feet when you notice Jaehyun looking back at you, his eyes widening in surprise before his lips turn upward into that gentle smile that reminds you of how he used to be back in high school. Maybe some things never change.
“Hi,” you greet with an awkward smile on your face.
“Hey.” The way his eyes droop slightly when he sees you feels nostalgic, and perhaps he’s much taller now because you have to look up to meet his eyes. “I can’t believe I’m seeing you. It’s been a while.”
“You’re right,” you reply, chuckling a little to mask how tense you really are. “Would you like me to take you to your seat?”
“Oh no, I won’t be long,” he says, running a hand through his hair. “I just wanted to talk to the manager for a sec.”
You furrow your eyebrows, trying your best not to get distracted with the way his hair ruffles almost perfectly under his touch. “Is there something wrong?”
“No, just wanted to see the latest financial report.” He smiles, showcasing his teeth. “My grandfather owns this place, and I’m helping him take care of the business while he’s overseas.”
Fuck. “A-ah, is that so?” Meeting him once as a customer is already painfully awkward enough for you to bear, but actually working for him?!
“I won’t bother you, I promise,” Jaehyun immediately adds, “I wasn’t aware that you work here, actually. Has it been long since you started?”
“About two weeks.” You fidget on your feet, having the hardest time making eye contact with him. “And I’m not very good at this.”
“Wait, are you the one who keeps breaking plates?”
You wince. “Yes. Can you please not fire me? I’ll pay for them, I promise.”
And Jaehyun laughs, his deep voice booming into the air. “Don’t worry about it. I’ll pay for them myself if that’s what it takes to keep you around.” He says his lines so naturally that it surprises you both when the words finally sink in. “I—I mean,” he clears his throat, “It’s just really been a while since I last saw you so I thought we should really catch up on things. How are you?”
“I’m—”
“Boss,” your manager suddenly comes to interrupt, carrying some paper sheets in her arms. “These are the reports you wanted. I can e-mail you the rest if you need more details.” And when she sees you standing next to Jaehyun with the worst looking smile you’ve ever had on your face, she squints her eyes menacingly at you, “What did you do this time?”
“She didn’t do anything,” Jaehyun hastily answers before you can even form a word of protest. “She’s a dear friend of mine. It’s been a while since we talked, so do you mind if I borrow her for a while?”
Your manager seems utterly shocked and you kind of dance happily in your mind because she’s been kind of mean to you—though you were the one who gave her the reasons to be—and seeing her speechless, only able to mumble out a small, “S-sure,” before she trails away back to her office like this becomes the highlight of your day.
“Thank you,” you say to him, not sure why but it feels right.
“Let me know if she bullies you again,” he says, gently patting you on the head and you can feel his fingers slowly brush your bangs off your temple. It seems like he’s unaware of what he’s doing and you can understand why because that’s just his habit, even from the time when you hadn’t started dating yet. You remember the time when he said he liked your eyes—he thought they were beautiful, and hiding them under your bangs like that was a shame.
You take a step back, looking anywhere but his eyes. “Umm…”
“Right, sorry,” he fumbles with his hands, the tip of his ears growing red. “I didn’t mean to make you uncomfortable. Can we just sit and talk?”
You smile, genuinely this time. He really hasn’t changed despite his appearance. “Sure.”
***
Jaehyun doesn’t visit the restaurant every day and you don’t really expect him to, but when he does, he always spares some time to talk to you privately—usually during your break time so your manager can stop throwing ice daggers from her eyes at you.
“I’ve tried to call you after graduation,” he confesses as he takes you out for some coffee at the nearest cafe. Your shift is over and you’re waiting for Haechan to pick you up but he’s running late because he has to take a quiz that he missed from skipping the class the previous week—you guess it had something to do with him pulling an all-nighter playing Overwatch again—and you told him to take his time.
“You did?”
“Yeah. Several times, actually, but I couldn’t get connected.”
“Maybe you called after I lost my phone,” you reply, taking a sip of your hot latte and wincing when it nearly scalds your tongue. “I had to change my number. I lost my contacts and everything.”
“That makes sense. Would it be okay if I ask for your numbers now?”
“Only for business purposes,” you tease, and he grins back, almost boyishly.
“Only for business purposes,” he confirms, “Just so I can give you a heads-up when I’m about to fire you.”
You gasp, half-amused, half-terrified. “Please tell me you’re joking.” And he only responds with another laugh. Talking with Jaehyun is easy and comforting, and he really listens to what you’re saying like a loving older brother taking care of his sister. It’s a nice change considering it’s always you who have to act like the mature one when having a conversation with Haechan—not that it isn’t good. It just can get quite tiring after some time.
Jaehyun is in the middle of walking you back to your workplace when he tells you stories about the things he did after graduation, and how he’s planning to continue with his study overseas to get a master’s degree in business management as soon as he’s done with his work here. You’re so entranced with his story that you barely notice your boyfriend waiting with his back pressed against the side of his car, eyes busy staring at his phone screen.
“Haechannie, you’re here!” You run to his spot, a grin spreading wide on your face before you lean up and kiss his cheek.“When did you get here?”
“Noonaaaaa,” he pouts, voice becoming whiny as usual. Compared to how he acts, he’s dressed maturely in a white shirt and a black leather jacket, his silver necklace hanging low on his neck. It takes you a good five seconds to ogle at his amazing looks while telling your heart not to get too excited. At least not until you get back at the dorm so you can rip that shirt off him with your own hands. “I’ve been calling you three times already. Where have you been?”
“You have?” You immediately check on your phone, noticing that yes, in fact, he did call you three times. You didn’t notice before because your phone was on silent. “I’m sorry, I forgot to switch it back after work. Did you wait long?”
“A bit,” he pushes his bottom lip out but it soon turns into a cheeky grin. “But nothing a kiss can’t fix.”
“Haechannie.” You pat him softly on his cheek. “We’ve got company.” And at that, he begins to widen his line of sight—because he usually just focuses on you and forgets his surroundings—and spots Jaehyun standing a few meters behind you with his hands buried deep within the pockets of his pants.
“Oh,” he comments, acting nonchalant though you notice by the slight raise of his eyebrow that he’s already annoyed by his presence. “Who are you?”
It’s kind of rude to suddenly ask for his name, especially in the cold tone Haechan is using and Jaehyun’s lips twitch at his words. “Jeong Jaehyun.”
“Well, Jeong Jaehyun,” Haechan says with mockery on his tone, straightening his posture and you wonder whether it’s because he feels slightly inferior to Jaehyun’s height. “My girlfriend and I would like some privacy from now on, so if you can just run along now, that’d be great.”
“Hey!” You slap his shoulder, gasping in disbelief before you turn around to face the other man. “I’m sorry, he can be quite rude sometimes but I’m sure he didn’t mean it.”
“Meant it with all my heart.”
“Be quiet.” And even Haechan can tell for his own good that he shouldn’t push your buttons further than that.
It’s okay, I have to go anyway,” Jaehyun casually says, smiling angelically like how he always does though his eyes don’t really play along. “Your boyfriend is cute. How old are you? Does your mom know you’re still playing outside at this hour?”
Oh my God, not you too. You immediately grab Haechan’s hand to stop him before he flings himself forward and throws an arm toward the other man. You can see him clenching his jaw, almost baring his teeth when Jaehyun laughs quietly to himself, saying, “I’m just kidding. Have a good night, you two,” before he walks back to the restaurant, most likely to have another business talk with the manager.
“Who the fuck does he think he is?” Haechan blurts out, his eyebrows knitted together in annoyance. You stroke his arm, trying to soothe him down but what he does is relocating his glare on you instead, almost yelling, “Why were you with him?  How many times have you guys seen each other? And why on earth did you take his side?!”
You’re too tired to care, to be honest, let alone answering him. You’re also suffering from the cold of the night, wanting desperately to climb into Haechan’s car and put on the heater to warm yourself up. “I’ll explain on our way back,” you sniffle, squeezing his hand. “Can we get inside the car? Please? I’m freezing.”
You can tell he’s still very much upset but his gaze softens when he sees puffs of air flowing from your chapped lips and your nose turning red. He sighs into the air but opens the door for you. He doesn’t really talk until he has his engine started, and you can practically see steam coming out from his ears as he drives into the night.
“Have you had dinner yet?” You ask, trying to keep as casual as you can.
“No.”
“Should we order something—”
“I’m not hungry.”
“O… kay…” You hold yourself back from sighing too loud. He’s testing your patience again, but it’s fine, you’re the mature one. You can handle this. “We’ll just go straight back to my place then. I’m sure I can make you something. I think I still have some pasta with—”
“I think I’m just gonna go back to my room right after I drop you off.” His words don’t hurt as much as the tone he’s using. You’re trying to patch things up even though you’re sure you haven’t done anything wrong but he’s not even trying to apologize about how rude he acted earlier. You can’t help but snap, probably because your fatigue is taking its toll. You figure you can act mature any other time, but not today.
“Okay, what is wrong with you?” You can feel your voice rising and it forces him to sneaks a glance at you but only for a split second before he brings back his eyes on the road again. “I’ve been trying to be nice to you but you keep on acting like a brat—”
“Oh, of course, now you have a problem with me being a brat.” He grits his teeth, sinking his nails into the steering wheel. “I think we both know that’s pretty much how I act around you—around anyone, really—and if I remember it clearly, you said being a brat was part of my charm. That was, of course, before you met this oh-so-mature Jung fucking Jaehyun and suddenly, now, I’m fucking annoying.”
“I didn’t just meet him, Hyuck.” You exhale loudly, rolling your eyes. “I’ve been friends with him since high school.”
He clicks his tongue in aggravation, quietly adding, “Friends that fucked each other whenever your parents weren’t around, I’m sure.” And he probably didn’t mean his words to be heard because he just said them out of spite, but you did hear him and it makes your blood sparks in fury.
“Actually, yes,” you jeer back, “We did. He was the one who took my virginity away, just so you know and—WHOA!”
The sudden turn of the wheels makes you yelp and scramble to wrap your fingers tightly around your seatbelt as if you were hanging for dear life, and Haechan suddenly stomps his feet on the brakes, messily parking his car on the side of the street and earning a lot of angry car honks from the drivers behind him in return.
“What?!” He shouts, eyes wide, completely ignoring the passerby or the fact that you’re still trying to catch your breath. “You had sex with him?!”
“Once, Donghyuck, Jesus Christ!” You almost yank every strand of your hair out of your head. “Just once! And I never did that with anyone else until I met you!”
“I can’t believe you never told me this! And now you just hang around with him behind my back?!”
“What’s there to tell?! It’s in the past, way back when I didn’t even know your name. It’s not like you tell me things like this too. I don’t have problems with you sleeping with hundreds of girls before you met me.”
The sudden silence that surrounds you snap you back to reality and you regret everything you just said because you know you didn’t mean it. Well, it certainly has been bugging you for quite some time whenever you think about how easy and casual he’s always been when it comes to sex—not to mention how experienced he is—so you can’t help but wonder. You do understand that it’s not fair blurting about it to him like this, though. Especially not in this situation.
And the way he just suddenly becomes mute almost makes you shudder.
“Hyuck, I didn’t mean—”
“So that’s how you think of me?” He asks, voice low and deep. “Is that the reason why you’re seeing him? Because you don’t trust me?”
“Oh my God, Donghyuck,” you almost scream from all this frustration you’re venting out. “This is getting out of hand. Okay, first, that was wrong of me to say that and I’m sorry. I didn’t mean any of it. And second, stop being so jealous—I was only out with him to get some coffee. We no longer have feelings for each other, I can assure you that.”
“Yeah,” he snorts, “Sure. Whatever.”
“Hyuck, he’s my boss! I was just being polite—”
“Well, that’s just fucking great, isn’t it? No wonder you keep insisting on taking this job. It’s not even about the money now, is it?” He slams his hand against the steering wheel, groaning out, “I’m so fucking stupid,” before he throws his head to the side, glaring at the scenery outside his window instead of you.
There’s silence hanging in the air again and you take a deep breath to calm yourself as much as you can because you know where this is going. You just hope you’re wrong. “Why does it sound like you’re accusing me of cheating on you?”
“Because maybe deep down, that’s what you’re doing?” He’s not even looking at you when he says it, but the bitterness in his voice is clear and it’s loud enough to finally tweak the final string of patience you have left in you.
So you grab your purse, carry your jacket in one arm and step down from the car. “I’m taking a cab,” you say and when he still doesn’t look at you, you add, “Come talk to me when you’re mature enough to have this conversation.”
And not knowing your own strength, you slam the door until his ears begin to ring.
***
It’s the worst fight you’ve ever had, not just with him but with anyone else too. You’re more the type that avoids situations like this—one that says sorry even when you know you’re not doing anything wrong just to reduce the tension, so this fight you’re having with Haechan has been ruining your mood for a whole damn week since day one. And the fact that he doesn’t come to apologize or even send a text or two is driving you insane.
You can’t help but to dwell in his way of thinking, trying to see whether it’s really your fault that this is happening. Yes, maybe you should’ve explained better, but he wasn’t really giving you the chance to do it, was he? And yes, maybe you should’ve told him about you hanging out with Jaehyun every now and then or the fact that he’s your boss but you just couldn’t find the right timing before. Well, it’s certainly too late to start now.
Should I call him…?
Because you miss him. You miss Haechan so badly. You miss his bratty smile, you miss his annoying whine, you miss his stupid dazzling smile, you miss his scent, his kiss, his embrace—everything about him. You didn’t realize how close he was to you—already becoming a big part of your life—and you just really notice it now when he’s completely out of your sight.
“Fuck this.” You’re in the middle of searching his name in your contacts and about to press dial when suddenly you get his message.
Can we meet tomorrow?
It’s really weird that a simple text can make your heart race and almost send you jumping in delight. Trying to keep your heart rate back to normal, you type back.
Of course. What time? Where?
You wait for his reply and it seems like the time suddenly slows down where seconds feel like hours. You nibble at your bottom lip, hesitating at first but sending it anyway.
I miss you, Haechannie.
Your heart starts hammering against your ribcage again. A lot of thoughts begin entering your mind at the same time, making you worry about what if he wants to meet me because he wants to break up with me? What if he doesn’t miss me and he’s grossed out with my text? What if—
His reply arrives with a slight ding coming from your phone, and with shaky hands, you open his text.
I’ll text you the time and place tomorrow morning.
There’s a disappointment that bubbles up inside your chest but the next text from him erases all of that almost instantly.
I miss you too, Noona. Good night.
And you think that maybe tonight, you can finally have a good sleep.
***
“Can you fill in for tonight?”
It’s the first thing your manager said to you the second you stepped inside the restaurant. You haven’t even taken your jacket yet, and it’s really rare to see your manager walking around the place on a Sunday morning but here she is, and she’s already ordering things around.
Your mouth suddenly feels dry. “Pardon?”
“There will be a banquet tonight for the Jeong family and we need every waiter we can get. I know you’re lousy at your job but Jaehyun-Sajangnim seems to like you so I hope you can stick longer for a few hours.”
“I…” You wet your lower lip anxiously. “I can’t. I already promised someone—”
“Look, this is not a request. It’s an order.” She seems like she’s running out of patience. “But I’ll pay handsomely for your time. I think you need the money to pay for those two plates you broke anyway. You know how expensive they are.”
You wince. “Yes, Ma’am.” It’s not like she’s leaving you with any other option. You figure you can call Haechan later during your break time. It’s still not confirmed anyway, your date with him. You’ll think of a way to make it up to him.
It’s only for a few hours anyway, right?
I’ll just text him now. You dip your hand into your purse, trying to find your iPhone as fast as you can. You run your fingers along the screen, typing letters with your thumbs.
Haechannie, something came up and I have to stay longer at work. I’ll see you later tonight at your place and we can talk then.
“What are you doing standing around like that?” Your manager suddenly shouts and you almost drop your phone in surprise. “Go and change your uniform now, we’re opening the place in ten minutes!”
“Y-yes, Ma’am!” You fumble with your steps, throwing your phone back into your purse in a hurry. You inwardly sigh. Today is going to be a long day.
I’m sorry, Haechannie.
***
“Great work today,” Jaehyun says when most of his family members have left the restaurant. You didn’t realize how big and wealthy his family was so it amazed you that one family could occupy the whole seatings they have in this place. There were more than thirty people in the room before and you had to change your high heels into a pair of flat shoes so you can run from one table to another while carrying several plates at once.
“Not really, I almost broke another plate today,” you respond with a sigh, which earns a low chuckle in return. Jaehyun has his back leaning against the wall just an arms reach away from the front door, waiting for you to finish shoving all your belongings into your bag before he curls his fingers around the doorknob and twists it open.
“Thanks,” you say, almost sheepishly because it looks weird, no matter how you see it—your boss is opening the door for you. “Stop being so nice, Jae, you’re making other staff jealous.”
“But I do this to all my staff,” Jaehyun snickers, following after your trail.
“Yeah, sure.”
“Hey,” he calls, placing his hand on your shoulder so you’ll stop on your track and turn around to face him. “Thank you.”
You raise your eyebrow questioningly. “For what?”
“For acting like how you normally do around me,” he explains, smiling a little bit bashfully. “For not being so awkward after our break-up.”
“Oh… Well…” You try to focus your gaze somewhere else, suddenly finding the  silver watch you wear around your wrist entertaining. “It’s been years since then, I think we both have moved on by now, right?”
There’s a thick tension growing between the two of you and you almost beg him to say something before it starts to suffocate you.
“Sure,” he says, but the pressure in his tone speaks otherwise. You look up to meet his eyes, expecting him to smile and bring another topic into the conversation, but all he does is just gazing at you with these gentle, almost longing eyes that make your heart stops for a split second.
You know this can’t go any further.
“Well, uhh,” Jaehyun clears his throat, running a hand through his hair, perhaps feeling rather embarrassed himself. “It’s already late. Do you want me to escort you back to your place?”
And you find it hard to form a sentence, still somewhat baffled from the way he’s acting around you, and you’re so unfocused that when another voice enters your hearing, it shocks you down to your spine.
“I’ll be taking her from here,” Haechan says, startling you both and you turn around so fast on your heel to face him that you almost stumble forward. Your boyfriend is standing with one hand carrying a black suit and another one digging inside the pocket of his pants, dressed nicely in a white buttoned up with sleeves rolled up to his elbows. He has the top two buttons of his shirt loosened, showing a glimpse of his collar bones and the silver necklace he usually hangs around his neck. His short brown hair is parted to the side, slightly pushed back to showcase his temple. You’ve never seen him dressed so sharp and elegantly before since the first day you met him and you can’t help but feel a little bit starstruck from the way he looks. But you soon realize that there must be a reason why he’s so dressed up and you feel terrible because you don’t know what it is.
What day is it today?
“Haechan—”
The way he grabs your hand shows how agitated he actually is despite the calm facade he places on his face, and it’s glaringly possessive the way he drags you to match his step on the way to his car but you follow him without a word, not even sparing a glance at Jaehyun who’s looking at him as if he just stole something important from him. Haechan opens the door to the passenger seat, and you climb in with your heart thrumming loud against your chest.
Haechan walks to the other side without making eye contact with Jaehyun but even at that point, your ex-boyfriend doesn’t dare to say a word or make a move, probably because he knows he has no right to do so. Haechan does not look angry and neither does he act like it but the quietness that fills the space between you, even when his car engine is blaring noisily outside, speaks louder than everything that he does.
“Umm.” You suddenly feel parched, your throat burning with every word you try to form. “T-thank you for picking me up.” You’re about to flinch from how terrible you just sounded. “I thought you were waiting at the dorm. Didn’t you get my text?”
It takes a few seconds that feel like forever for him to answer. “I don’t know, did you send me one?” He simply asks, voice flat and nonchalant, as he switches the gears of his car.
Did I not? You gulp in horror and begin to frantically search for your phone in your purse. Your heart almost leaps out from your chest when you see your phone is dead, probably ran out of battery sometimes during your hectic hours. You didn’t check on it before because you thought that Haechan most likely had seen your text and was waiting for you at the dorm, so you decided to just run in a hurry without texting him that your shift had ended. You were also busy talking with Jaehyun and felt it wouldn’t be polite for you to check on your phone while he was around.
But, as you connect your phone to your power bank, turning it on, and run your thumbs along the screen, you notice one thing: you didn’t send him anything.
“I’m—” A shiver runs down your spine. “I’m sure I texted you before—why—” You remember how your manager suddenly interrupted you when you were about to send the text. You must have forgotten to press send, and seeing how there are suddenly a lot of messages coming to your phone at once from him makes your heart drop to the floor.
I’ve made a reservation at Boccalino at 7 p.m. I know how you’ve always wanted to go there. Wear something nice.
Where are you now? Are you still at work? Do you want me to pick you up?
You’re probably busy at work. I’ll just see you at our table, okay? Don’t be late.
I haven’t heard from you. Where are you? I’m on my way to the restaurant to make sure our reservation is still on.
All my calls are going straight to voicemails. Where are you?
You’re an hour late. Where are you?!
You can feel the tremble in your fingertips as you hold your phone, your eyes running back and forth in horror. Haechan still doesn’t speak a word, focusing his eyes entirely on the road that lays in front of him.
“I’m… I’m sorry.” Even though you know you’re already so out of line and probably won’t be forgiven anytime soon, you still apologize because what else can you say? “I didn’t realize my phone was dead. And I was sure I’d texted you but—”
“It’s fine,” he says as he props his elbow against his window, rubbing the side of his temple with his fingertips. “I don’t want to talk about it.”
And with that, the conversation ends. Your thoughts are running fast, trying to come up with a better apology or find a way to patch things up but you can’t. The more plans you make, the more you hate yourself for being so stupid and ruin this whole thing for him. The drive back to your dorm is filled with nothing but silence, and you spend the entire time counting the street light that glows faintly on the side of the road.
You do notice something, though. Haechan’s phone keeps on making little sounds, notifying him that he’s receiving text messages and chats. There was also a phone call which he ignored even when the street light was red, only saying, “I’ll just call back later,” when you nervously ask him about it.
It’s when he walks you back to your dorm, that you begin to gain the courage to ask about it. “You’re getting awfully a lot of texts today.”
“They just want to congratulate me,” he says, tucking his hands in his pockets so you can’t take a hold of any of them as you walk beside him.
“On what?”
“My birthday.”
You wish the earth could just swallow you whole because how fucking ignorantly stupid can you be? It’s the sixth of June today, and you were so busy dealing with the fight and minding your own business that you forgot the birthday of the most important person in your life right now. You can feel how your legs almost give out under your weight, your head’s spinning.
And apparently, you’re doing it again, so lost in your own thoughts that Haechan has to say, “We’re here,” to snap you back to reality. You’re now standing gawkily in front of the door to your room, palms getting sweaty from how nervous you are. Haechan murmurs something about seeing you later and you’re about to burst into tears from how terrible you feel for him so you hastily grab him by his wrist, fingers almost sinking into his skin from how desperate you’re being.
“Stay with me,” you beg with quivers in your voice. “Please, just—I need to talk to you.”
Haechan stares at you with cold eyes, his jaw clenching slightly. But he doesn’t pull back his arm and follows your trail with heavy steps as you step inside your room. He closes the door behind him and leans his back against it, still not saying anything.
You’re so occupied with trying to form a coherent sentence that you forget to be thankful about how your roommate is away for the weekend again, providing you the opportunity to have the entire room for yourself. You decide to not make any excuses and apologize for every little dumb thing you’ve been doing for the whole day—no, for a whole week even, since the time your fight started. But no matter what you say, Haechan is staring at you with lifeless eyes, as if he’s just too tired to listen—as if he just no longer cares.
And that scares the life out of you.
“Hyuck, please,” you whisper, closing the distance between you until you can feel his warm breath caressing your cheek. You have your palm pressing against the side of his face, “Say something.” You know it’s not right, but you lean in for a kiss. It’s not just because you’re desperate to pull an emotion out of him; it’s more because you miss him so terribly so, it’s driving you crazy.
Haechan has his eyes closed by instinct but he doesn’t kiss back, only letting your lips linger on him, sharing his breath. And though it feels like there’s a javelin slowly sinking into your chest, you try again, kissing him with more passion, hooking your arm around his neck to pull him closer. Haechan tears himself away, his gaze turning dark as he stares at you and you look at him back with desperation in your eyes.
“Haecha—”
It’s like something snaps inside him and he suddenly no longer has control over his own free will, because Haechan is now pushing your body against the door, slamming your spine against the surface none too gently with his hands on each side of your head, lips chasing after yours. You let out a gasp, both from the shock and the pain that stings from the back of your head, and he takes the opportunity to kiss you deeper, tongue delving in to explore the inside of your mouth. His fingers trail down from your cheeks to your jaw, before they rest on the sides of your neck, his fingertips probing against your veins. You’re not sure whether he does it unconsciously from the sheer excitement or something else but the way his hand is holding you by the neck, his fingers low key choking you make your adrenaline runs faster.
He doesn’t give you the chance to process every single thing that’s happening, or even breathe, for that matter. The next thing you know, he already has his hands running down to your thighs, pulling them up so you have no other choice but to tangle your legs around his waist and groan when he presses your hips together. Hearing the sound of his name tumbling down your lips in a desperate, needy moan, Haechan groans at the back of his throat, his hands moving up to palm your breasts before they start to struggle with your shirt.
You’re doing the same thing, just as eager to get him out of his white shirt so you can latch your lips on his smooth sun-kissed skin. But unlike you who struggle to unbutton his shirt one by one, Haechan’s patience is wearing thin so he ends up just ripping your uniform, buttons clattering down to the floor.
“Wait, Hyuck—” You’re forced to swallow whatever it is you’re trying to say when Haechan sinks his teeth down to the skin that connects your neck to your shoulder, pushing the fabric of your shirt down to expose more of your bare skin. Your whole body shudders, clutching to him with every strength you have. It hurts, the way he bites and nibbles along your sensitive skin, but at the same time, it sends electricity down to every inch of your body.
“Do you have any idea how fucking pissed I am right now?” He says in a low, dangerous voice as he gnaws around your earlobe. “Turn around.”
With his nails sinking into your hips, he forces you to turn on your heel, pressing the side of your face against the door and tears your shirt away from your body. He doesn’t immediately take off your bra like he usually does, and instead focusing first on slipping his fingers underneath the band, thumbs glossing over your hardened nipples as he applies wet kisses on your nape. You almost let out a sob when his hand travels south, raking his fingers against your stomach before he takes off your skirt in such a hurry, leaving you in nothing but your black stockings and your laced panties.
Your entire body jolts when he slips a hand between your legs, rubbing you over your underwear before he suddenly pushes the fabric down and runs his fingertips along your folds.
“You’re so fucking wet,” he whispers in your ear, his breath fanning your neck. “I’m surprised you like being treated like this.” But when you cry out his name, begging for him to stop teasing you already, he chuckles lowly. “I should’ve done this sooner.”
You’re sure that you’re just reacting this way because it’s him and not anybody else and you want to tell him that but you can barely form a word with him rubbing his fingertips along your clit. “You’re actually quite dirty, aren’t you?” He brings two of his fingers to your lips, forcing you to suck them into your mouth and you oblige, knowing what he’s intending to do. You coat them with as much saliva as you can before he brings his hand down to your heat again, this time inserting one finger into your entrance with another one following soon after.
You hiss his name under your breath, becoming a little lightheaded from all this sensation you’re having at once. “What do you want me to do?” He asks tauntingly, knowing he’s in charge of everything.
“Fuck me,” you gasp, eyes tightly shut at the feeling of him finger fucking you to oblivion. “I want you inside me, Hyuck, fuck.”
“Maybe in a few minutes.” His teasing tone is back but it’s different. It’s almost menacing this time, somewhat heartless. He picks up the pace, pumping his fingers in and out of you until you find yourself biting your lip to contain your sob. “Do you know what I want?” He carves his words against your skin, taking a handful of your hair with his other free hand and yanking it back so you can’t help but face the ceiling. His lips are hovering dangerously close against your ear. “I want to fuck you raw. We’ve never done that before, have we? I want to come inside you—want to see my cum dripping down your thighs when I’m finished with you.”
Fuck. You almost cry from the temptation. “Then do it. I don’t care just—” You arch your back, sinking yourself down to his fingers, moaning against the side of his neck. “Please, just fuck me, Hyuck.”
“Good girl,” he replies and you can hear the smirk in his voice but you don’t care. He can be as cocky as he wants for the night because you secretly like it. You like how confident he is during sex, how passionate and sexy he can get, and how desperate and uncontrolled he becomes at the end. You can feel your stomach flip at the anticipation, especially when you hear him working on his belt, unbuttoning his pants and pulling them down only low enough for him to free himself.
“Let me fuck your mouth first,” he demands and you find yourself succumbing to his orders, turning around to face him before you drop to your knees, the tip of his cock protruding against your lips.
Haechan is still holding himself back, you’re sure, because he lets you take your own pace at first but his dominating persona comes back almost immediately when you only give him tentative licks against his slit. “Open up,” he orders, his fingers finding home in your hair and you loosen up your jaw to take him deeper.
Tears begin to form in the corner of your eyes from how hard he’s hitting the back of your throat but you try to keep up. He moves his hips, enjoying the warmth of your mouth. When you feel him twisting his fingers around the strands of your hair, you look up to see his expression. Haechan has his head thrown back in pleasure, his lips parted in a silent moan and you hum proudly to yourself when he brings his eyes down to meet yours. They’re glazed with lust and he’s so sexy like this with his breathing ragged, soft moans flowing like music to your ears. And he’s probably feeling the same about you, from the way he pushes the bangs out of your eyes, taking every detail of your face as you hollow your cheeks, swallowing when his taste falls upon your tongue.
“Fuck,” he hisses under his breath, “You look so perfect like this. You’re so fucking sexy, do you know that?” You hum, running your tongue along the prominent vein, giving kitten licks around the tip. Something gleams in his eyes and suddenly he commands you to stand up and pushes your body against the wall again, face first.
“Do you know how excited I was for today?” He grabs you by the waist, pushing his palm against your shoulder blades so you’ll bend lower, and positions himself against your entrance from behind. “I wanted to celebrate my birthday with you—just with you, Noona—even after our fight, I still wanted to spend it with you—”
“I know,” you gasp, thighs trembling when he rubs his tip against your folds. “I’m sorry—I was too busy with—“
“With work?” He taunts, “Or with that guy you’ve been seeing?”
“No—” A sudden yelp flows out of your mouth when he abruptly pushes himself entirely inside of you in one quick motion, his nails digging into the skin of your hips. Haechan moans a tad louder, much breathier, with his eyebrows knitted together in ecstasy. He’s more sensitive now since he’s not using a condom, directly feeling how wet and hot you are around him, how every clench makes him lose his mind and you can feel him twitching inside you. “Haechan—wait—”
He thrusts forward with such brute force, you find yourself pressed against the door. The dorm is quiet and with the way he’s slamming his hips against yours, the door making rhythmic banging noises against its frames, you’re sure you’re going to be noticed sooner or later.
“The bed—” You gasp, searching for the hands he has on your hips. “Let’s move to the bed—”
“Later,” he groans, his mind sinking in the way your heat is enveloping him.
“People can—” You have your eyes tightly shut when his thrusts get stronger. “They can hear us, Hyuck—”
He tangles his hand around your locks, making a messy ponytail out of them so he can yank on your hair as he rocks his hips faster. “I don’t fucking care,” he growls, “Let everyone know you’re mine.”
It feels fucking amazing the way he’s all breathless and rough, fucking you senselessly as if the world is ending, and it’s not long before your legs start to give up on you, quivering under the sensation.
“Fuck,” Haechan takes a sharp intake of breath, pulling you back against him when you’re about to fall. “Tired already, babe?” His chuckles are unfamiliar to your ears, as if he was mocking instead of teasing but you can’t really comment on it because he’s now pushing you down to the floor, forcing you to stay on all fours. “Now, now, what do we do?” He asks, spreading your thighs but holds your ass firmly in the air. “I’m just getting started.”
Every thrust of his hip feels like fire running all over your body and you can’t believe how good he is at hitting that particular spot deep inside you. You bite your lower lip to keep your voice down and Haechan notices it so he leans close, his chest pressing against your spine and you feel his lips and teeth caressing the crook of your neck as he speaks.
“Stop holding back your voice.” His voice sounds sultry, almost sinful to your ears. “I’ve told you before, right? I like hearing you say my name when we do this. Let me hear you moan.”
You shake your head. “I don’t want anyone to hear—“
“Well,” he doesn’t even let you finish. “I guess I’ll just have to force it out of you then.”
He slows down his pace, and instead of giving you fast, shallow thrusts, he focuses his strength on making each thrust hard and deep. You can feel your breathing being knocked out of your lungs, your toes curling in pleasure and if he keeps doing this, you know you’re not gonna last long. Your orgasm hits you so hard, a whimper falling from your mouth the way he likes it, and your body begins to shake.
Haechan laughs quietly against your ear. “You came, didn’t you? It feels so good—you feel so good around my cock.” He grabs you by the chin and roughly angles your head to face him. He kisses you hard, leaving you even more breathless than you already are before he says, “It’s my turn now.”
Haechan flips you to your back, spreading your legs wide as he sits on his knees, holding your ankles in the air like how he did the first time you had sex with him. Maybe it’s his favorite position, almost splitting your body in half, and seeing your face and your breasts bouncing up and down with every movement of his hips. You’re still dazed, reeling in the afterglow when Haechan pushes back into you again without warning, his eyes half-lidded in pleasure, his lips parted forming your name between his breathy moans.
“I’ll never get tired of how you look when I fuck you like this,” he says, smirking in the sexiest way you’ve ever seen him do. “You’re so goddamn irresistible, you know that?”
It’s frightening how different and rough he’s being right now, and you’re about to cry out because you miss him—you miss the way he used to be. The adorable, annoying little tease that he was. How can you bring him back?
“Haechannie,” you call out, voice soft and quiet almost in a whisper. “I love you.”
His movement stops almost immediately, his eyes widening in surprise. He locks his gaze back with yours, his grip on your legs becoming loose. “What?”
“I love you,” you repeat, placing your legs down so you can sit up from your position. Your back feels sore, screaming in pain but you try not to wince. You reach out to grab his face, running your thumb along his lower lip. “I love you, Lee Donghyuck.” You kiss him gently, merely pressing your lips against his and you can feel how his body stiffen under your touch. “So calm down, because I’m not going anywhere. I’ll always be with you, as long as you let me.”
Haechan is still very much speechless and you decide to take control. You carefully push him down so he can sit back on the floor before you climb into his lap. You kiss him again, tangling your fingers in his hair before you slide down, enveloping him once again. There’s a small moan escaping his lips, which you immediately capture with your own and his hands find their way back to your hips again.
“That’s not fair,” he says, his cheeks reddening slightly though he’s still scowling at you. “You’re just saying that so I won’t be angry with you anymore.”
“That too, but,” you’re interrupted by a moan that departs from your lips, can barely handle the way he twitches inside you. “I’ve been feeling that way for quite some time now. Especially when we fight. I just missed you so much, I couldn’t stand it.”
His pout is growing back on his face, though not as apparent. “Well, whose fault do you think is that?” It’s perfect, the way he moves inside you and it’s driving him crazy whenever you clench your walls around him.
“There’s nothing between me and Jaehyun, I promise you,” you softly murmur as you place open-mouthed kisses down his neck. “I’d never cheat on you, Hyuck. You know that, right?”
He shivers slightly under your touch, his Adam’s apple bobbing up and down. “Still,” he breathes out, “It doesn’t mean I’m fine with you meeting him behind my back.”
“He’s my boss, I wouldn’t be able to avoid him even if I wanted—” You have to end your sentence short when he rubs his thumb against your clit, reeling in the sensation. “Hyuck, you’re going to make me come again at this rate.”
“Good, because I intend to make you come at least three times tonight.” He snickers against your lips. “So you won’t be able to forget who owns you.”
His movements become sloppy, going out of rhythm, even more desperate with each thrust and when you whisper with his earlobe between your teeth, “Happy birthday, baby,” he comes undone almost immediately with his face hiding between the slope of your neck.
He lays you down to the floor again, gently this time, before he hovers above you, his arms shaking slightly. “Holy shit,” he exhales, cheeks flushed and beads of sweat forming on his temple. “I think I came a lot inside you.”
“Glad I’m taking some pills then,” you reply, smiling a little as you cup his cheek, your thumb tracing the mole under his left eye. “You okay?”
“Are you okay?” He asks instead. “Was I too rough? Are you hurt somewhere?”
“Why is it that whenever we have sex, you end up asking me these questions?” You chuckle. “Yes, you were. And yes, I am hurt. My back is killing me.”
“I’m…” There’s a slight panic flitting across his eyes. “I’m sorry.”
“It’s okay, it was kinda hot seeing you all riled up like that. It’s like you turned into a completely different person.” You pull him down by his necklace, murmuring against his lips, “I won’t mind if you fuck me like that again sometimes.”
It’s funny that after all of this that just happened, he actually blushes over your words. Quietly cursing under his breath, he leans back on his heels, slowly pulling out of you and stare intently at how his cum starts to seep out of you.
“Goddamn…” he mumbles, eyes unblinking as if he’s in a trance. “I really did come a lot inside you.”
“Consider that your birthday gift. Also, can you stop looking at me like that—it’s embarrassing.” You don’t usually get embarrassed about sexual stuff, especially now that your boyfriend’s shamelessness kind of rubs off on you, but Haechan really knows how to push your buttons.
Seeing you fidget out of shame, Haechan’s eyes twinkle, his lips forming a teasing grin. “No, wait, let me clean you up.” Despite what he says, he slowly pushes one finger into you, with another one following right after and you part your lips in a gasp but loss for words when you see him playing with his cum that’s mixed with yours, smearing it on the inside parts of your thigh.
“Haechannie,” you gasp, feeling his fingers inside you once again, with his thumb rubbing over your clit. “What are you doing?”
“Isn’t it obvious?” He grins, showcasing his perfect teeth. “I’m going to make you come again. And then you’re going to make me come again.” His face hovers above yours, wetting his bottom lip as he stares lustfully at you. “Since it’s my birthday and you’re obliged to do whatever I want.”
You gulp. You’re going to be so sore tomorrow.
