The nightshades are aware that Wednesday is dating someone? The bruises that line her throat is obvious and it wasn't like Wednesday was trying to hide it.

Even when asked, Wednesday didn't blink. "yes, I do have a paramour."

It makes them think at times, what kind of person is Wednesday Addams dating?

A serial killer? One offers and the others ooo's and aaa's in agreement before hoping that wasn't the case

Arranged marriage? Someone conspiring whispers. It got shot down real quick because wednesday didn't have a ring and they're damn sure Wednesday would go all black widow on them

Anyways, there were rumors and gossip between the group of who Wednesday's paramour was but the moment they met her elusive blanket monster of a roommate, their thoughts got occupied

But a few weeks have passed and the shock of a growling blanket isn't so startling, the group talked about what Enid did for a living

As they tossed ideas around, they can't help but realize that wait a sec

They never did get an answer, until a black supercar waited outside of their campus gate. There were a few other students waiting sround, some even taking pictures but it isn't until Wednesday (and in turn the nightshades) was sighted does a door open and a blond with squared sunglasses step out.

Their eyes draw to the scars on her cheek and that thought went elsewhere. Maybe a bodyguard? They know that Wednesday was rich but rich enough to need a bodyguard?

Or maybe, they hoped with anticipating eyesm, this was Enid?

Like she's sure that blond hair was similar to the mop hidden under layers of cloth. It was hard to know much about Enid but they know that she's a light tanned lady with blue eyes and blond hair.

"Wednesday!" she calls out and the lowkey broke college students reel over what she wore. Dressed to the tens in shades of black and grey, the suited woman walked around the car meet them halfway.

The nightshades look at each other in panic. This wasn't Enid! Sure they were both blond but maybe Wednesday has a type.

"what're you doing here?" Wednesday asks and the nightshades were given a front row view to the way her jaw tenses and a tinge of color form on her ears.

Yoko sends her prayers to Enid. With how overprotective the wereblanket was, she's sure that there were some feelings involved. She prays that her girlie (they haven't talked at all) handles this well

A cheeky grin was Wednesday's answer as the blond twirled the car keys in her finger. "well yeah but lunch with Mr dad ended early so I thought I could pick you up!" those brows furrowed before the smile turned into something a bit more softer "unless you'd like to walk home?"

"No, I dont-" Wednesday mutters, her head ducking and is that blush growing!? "You didn't have to do this, I know that you must be tired."

Blond bodyguard(?) laughs and with the keys of a way too fancy car inbetween her fingers, she tilted Wednesday's head up.

"chin up, 'day. You know I could never be tired of you." it takes Wednesday nodding before blondie stands back. the college students immediately straighten their back as a stare was leveled onto them. "I also wanted to meet your friends! I haven't been able to get a clear look at them after all."

Bianca blinked, ignoring the way Wednesday grumbles a 'not my friends' to ask a question that popped into their heads. "excuse me? I don't think we met."

"... Did we not?" the blond wonders and she looks at wednesday before scratching her head and looking back at them. "you're swordfish lady right?"

Bianca's brows twitch. "swordfish lady?"

A smile grows as she snaps her fingers in remembrance. "yeah! Because you fence with Wednesday and you're a siren so I thought itd fit."

"you have such... A way with names," swordfish lady grits out as yoko barges in with a hand raised.

"what about me!?"

Blondie rubs her finger on her chin before she points with an aha! "yolks!"

Yoko blinks. ".. Like the egg?"

Blondie nods, her smile wide and clearly enthusiastic. Wednesday is standing right beside her, giving her usual side eye but staring with an affection she usually only held for Enid.

Rip enid, imagine losing your crush to someone who lowkey looks like you.

"Enid, we're wasting daylight," Wednesday calls out and Enid startles back.

The now named Enid panics, flustering an oh shoot! As she removed her sunglasses to reveal those familiar blue eyes before passing it over to Wednesday.

"it was nice talking to you guys!" Enid calls out and before the nightshades know it, the duo were gone. Wednesday having been ushered onto her seat with Enid closing it behind before hopping in and zooming away.

"did Wednesday just say Enid?" Eugene asks.

Ajax blinks. "did Enid mention having lunch with Wednesday's dad?"

Xavier sighs, a hand on his face. There went his chances. "maybe we should revisit the arranged marriage idea..."

More Cars headcanons

Mater and Lightning are platonic soulmates, they connect on a different level, would legit die for the other. Also equal these two get into MORE trouble together than alone, and become stupider together.

Sally was serious about needing a break from BOTH of them, they are chaotic. She loves them to death, of course. But all their antics might gave her a mild heart attack.

Lightning has bruises here and there, from crashes, or he just bumps into stuff. Some because he hangs out with Mater and got rope into whatever crazy things he got planned. He never minds them tho.

Meanwhile, Mater sometimes get full on scars (like the dents in the movies).

Lightning is super concerned and worried (when the injuries that they encountered on their adventures turn into scars on Mater), and some what guilty when he catches a glimpse of the scars, he has suggested Mater to some scar removal surgery, or cover up tattoos

"Why? You don't want to remember the times we hang out?"

"No, it's not that, don't you... i dont know.."

Lightning doesnt like scars himself, he thought of them as ugly remiders of his "failure" (a mindset that Harv had gave him in their years working together)

So to his suprise, Mater just laughs and said

" These are for me to remember all the times we're together. And they are too valueable to me, cuz you're valueable to me! "

No, Lightning def did not sniffles at that.

While Sally have mild heart attacks, Doc think he would have a full blown heart attack one of these day from all of those two's antics. Imagine being Doc at 3 am open the door to a lightly concussed Lightning and bleeding Mater. Yeee, man believes that he get x10 silver hair on his head after those two became friends.

Lightning picks up a LOT of Doc mannerisms, unconsciously. From the lil head shake when he laughs, to his jokes,... all im saying is, there must be something for Smokey to know he's Hud's boy immediatly, right?

also thank you so much anon, heh. - cosmo is a little chubby, so sprout would sometimes use his tummy as a headrest - cosmo has a bunch of scars from baking, so sprout has an extra batch of medical supplies when they go baking together - sprout knows how to knit, crochet, etc, so he'd make cosmo lil plushies, gloves, hats, etc - cosmo steals sprouts shirts - you cannot understand how many scars and wounds cosmo has,,, - its overprotective x overprotective - sprout helps T!cosmo do his testosterone shots - sprout also cooks, but cosmo doesnt know how to fry an egg - cosmo owns a bunch of pimple patches and hair clips, and sprout snags some from him from time to time - definitely one of those highschool couples that go "dont you try talking to MY boyfriend or else.." - childhood friends - had a phase in their relationship where they just stopped talking for like a month, then proceeded to have a 3 day sleepover where they baked a bunch of stuff - gets hired to babysit toodles sometimes and toodles would be in timeout for stealing some of the cookies - has accidentally fed shrimpo something hes allergic to, on accident, like peanut butter cookies or something - sprout has piercings, but cosmo dislikes them because of the texture (certain piercings turn cold easily) - they got matching tattoos, probably like flowers or something - cosmo would let finn come to their hang outs and sprout would be pissed asf cs of finns constant jokes, but cant do shit because cosmo actually likes them - sprout did infact punch gigi after she pulled the "hey cosmo look, it says gullible on the ceiling!" after they got out the elevator - would pull cosmo away from dandy when they talked to him - sprout knows the sidewalk rule, but cosmo doesnt - if sprout wasnt allergic (and somewhat hated cats) cosmo would bring 2 cats home a day - they have a pet bird because thats the only animal they can care for that sprout isnt allergic to - they have a bag of chocolate chips that cosmo regularly steals from, sprout doesnt know about this and just thinks they use too much of them - sprout scolded cosmo once about feeding pebbles too many treats but cosmo cried mid way so he had to gentle parent him - cosmo STILL sneaks a bit of extra treats for pebbles sometimes - they go on hiking trips, but cosmo had chronic fatigue so sprout just carries him on his back at some point - they both love camping but cosmo is lowk scared of the dark - sprout used to drink a shit ton of energy drinks but cosmo threw them all out and scolded him - they have a bunch more matching bracelets, but one of them always loses theirs so they only have one - cosmo loses balance easily, so sprout catches him but since hes also not always the strongest they just fall together - cosmo pulls on sprouts scarf when he gets angry and wants to go home - ginger did not approve of sprout at first but after a few stolen cookies she gave the thumbs up - fell asleep with chocolate covered popcorn on their laps, and some random tv show playing on tv while sitting on the couch once. yeah thats all, i love fruitcake so much.. will also be making rudie hcs soon ><

“hi. i heard you do specific tattooing.” you smile at the employer. he looks up at you, tattoos decorating his muscular arms and fingers, pierced nose and lip with a stretched ear. he smiles at you warmly and nods.

“that's us! each employee does specific art and tattooing as well as piercings. anything you want in particular?”

“i don't have an idea for the design per say but i have a relatively big scar that i want incorporated into the tattoo.”

the employee hums and nods as he listens to you, soaking up all the information. his curly hair falling in front of his eyes which causes him to have to push his hair back every five seconds, revealing an eyebrow piercing and a small face tattoo above the brow that you didn't notice at first glance.

“and where is the scar, if i might ask?”

“my chest.”

“ok! we have the perfect employee for that. give me a sec.” you nod, thanking him as you watch him walk to the back room, jumping as his loud voice bellows out through the store.

“hyunjin! customer for ya!!”

“jesus changbin! do you have to shout?” the man named hyunjin comes out of the back room, rubbing his temples. hair long and dyed black with streaks of red. half up, half down. eyeliner lining his lower water line, septum pierced and a few tattoos dotted on his skin. “you're going to scare the customers.”

“please. they love it when i shout.” changbin smirks and winks cheekily, causing hyunjin to blush faintly and gently push him. “and i know you do too. you love it when i’m vocal.”

“fuck you, binnie.” 

“you wish.” 

hyunjin rolls his eyes before approaching you. he clears his throat before extending out his hand to shake.

“hello. i'm hyunjin.”

“hey hyunjin. i'm yn.”

“so yn, tell me about this tattoo design?”

“well, i don't have an idea per day but i do have a scar across my chest that i want to incorporate.” hyunjin nods.

“well, you've come to the right store. i specialize in tattoos that are centred around scars whether that be cover ups or something else. if you don't mind, i would like to brainstorm some ideas with you and do a few doodles.”

“sounds perfect!” you grin.

“great. right this way.”

hyunjin and you spend an hour or so brainstorming ideas. you showed him your chest scar, specifically telling hyunjin what you’ve visioned, however, you want the end design to be a surprise to you. you were a  little worried about showing hyunjin your scar but, much to your relief, he didn't judge. in fact, it seemed like he didn't care at all.

“can i ask you a personal question?” hyunjin asks as he drags the tattoo needle along your chest. you wince a little in pain, taking a few deep breaths before speaking. 

“go ahead.” hyunjin wipes away the ink with some tissue before returning back to tracing the outline.

“how did you get this scar?”

“top surgery.” 

“oh! i see. how was that?”

“fucking scary but so so worth it.”

“oh really?”

“yes. to wake up from surgery to look down and see that my boobs have gone, was a huge relief to me.”

“how was it? the whole process and whatnot?”

“lonely.”

“lonely? why?” hyunjin's eyebrows furrow together.

“ever since i told my friends and family that i'm transgender, they just left.”

“that's pretty shitty of them.”

“well, people fear what they don't know. knowledge is power and when people are met with something that's unknown or unfamiliar to them, they run away in fear because they don't understand. i would have happily educated them but… yeah.”

“how did you know that you’re trans? sorry if this is too personal by the way. please stop me if i'm overstepping.” you laugh softly and shake your head.

“no, it's ok. honestly, i wish more people like you would ask.” you look up at the ceiling as hyunjin tattoos you. “i guess i've always known from such an early age but because i was young, i didn't understand why i wasn't like all the other girls that were interested in dolls and make-up and disney princesses.”

“what were you interested in?”

“the standard boy stuff. diy, football, mud, eating worms. i liked shorts and t-shirts, not dresses and ballet shoes. as i got older though, i understood a lot more. told my parents and they told me it was just a phase. well, they made me believe it was just a phase.”

“fuck. that's rough..”

“well, the whole process has been rough. months and months of waiting to be seen by doctors. appointments after appointments. a huge waiting list just for T. and to top it off, mental health issues.”

“i assume knowing you're in the wrong body fucks with your mind; to put it politely of course.” you laugh and nod your head.

“pretty much, yes. looking in the mirror and seeing that my hair and face was changing, y'know facial hair and my voice getting deeper was good but then when i strip naked, look down and see i have boobs and a vagina, it's just heartbreaking. it takes a toll on your mind.”

“why do you want me to incorporate the scar instead of covering it?”

“because i'm not ashamed of it. it's part of my journey. i want to show it off and, even though i do miss my breasts in a weird way, i'm proud of myself for making it this far and for being strong. i'll never be ashamed or hide who i am now because i've spent years hiding and feeling ashamed.”

“i like you yn. you're strong and know what you want in life.”

“thank you, hyunjin. it means a lot to me.” you smile softly at him as he grins at you, eyes crinkling at the corners.

“so, are you done now? with your breasts gone and whatnot?”

“maybe. maybe not. i've been debating about bottom surgery but it costs twice as much as top and well, it's a whole new thing to get used to. i'm completely transforming my intimate area for something new and unknown. in a way, yes i do want bottom surgery but i know i'll be alone during the process.”

“i'll come with you.”

“what..?”

“i'll come with you. i'll hold your hand and be there for you, whether you decide to do it or not.”

“hyunjin, we barely know each other. you're a tattoo artist that’s tattooing my chest.”

“ok. and? i like you yn. platonically of course however, i can't deny this strong connection that pulls me to you. hearing your story, i want to protect you and be the friend that you've always wanted and deserved. you shouldn't have to face something that's this big alone.”

“it's just surgery, hyunjin..”

“yes but it's a major thing to you so you deserve to have someone there by your side. to have a familiar face to wake up to.”

“and if i don't decide on the surgery?”

“then i still want to be that familiar face to wake up to.”

“hyunjin, i–”

“look–” hyunjin turns the tattooing machine off and looks at you. “whether you decide to get bottom surgery or not doesn't make you any less of a person. you're still you and you should look back on all the great achievements and be proud. masculinity shouldn't tackle or dominate you, you dominate masculinity besides, gender is fluid these days so be what you want to be. just as long as you are happy, healthy and comfortable then who gives a shit.”

tears roll down your cheeks slowly. you wipe them away with the back of your hand as you sniffle, hyunjin smiling softly at you before finishing up the tattoo.

“thank you.. i needed that.”

“we all need that extra love, regardless.”

a comfortable silence falls upon you both. the buzzing sound of the machine tattooing your skin being the only thing ringing in your ears. one hour later and hyunjin turns off the machine before gently wiping the extra ink off your skin.

“ready! want to see it?”

“fuck yes!” hyunjin laughs before standing up. you follow suit, following him to the full length mirror.

you gasp in awe and shock as you look at your new chest tattoo. flowers of various shapes and sizes decorated in a line along your scar. butterflies and bees for that extra touch and design. 

“holy fuck.. thank you. thank you so so much hyunjin. i love it.” tears well in your eyes before falling down your cheeks. hyunjin laughs softly, his own eyes welling up.

“ah fuck, now you've got me started.” you both laugh as you wipe away tears. hyunjin wraps up your chest tattoo and tells you about aftercare. 

as you gather your belongings and walk to the door, you turn on your heel and give hyunjin a gentle and genuine smile

“thank you for today, hyunjin. it's nice to know i have someone to lean on in the future.”

canvas: Does your OC have any scars, piercings, tattoos, or other markings? Do they display or cover them up at all?

Josephine, while not having any particularly notable scars (i do imagine has some just not... particular ones come to mind), Josie does notably have markings in stretch marks. Folks with eds tend to get them in general, as well as from her pregnancy.

Alex has a considerable amount of scars - from fights and scuffles for one. There was also the top surgery scars...... and then the big one on his chest by being piecered with a wood during the summer event in game last year which killed him very dead. He got better.

Jamie meanwhile:

Travel is an interesting concept of the neath.... my ocs Don't Really Go Anywhere, except for like, the zee or on the Great Hellbound Railway... i guess to the ceiling now too lmao

So i offer: Josie in a traveling suit, Alex in his zailing jacket and sweater. (Jamie i dont think really wears anything different when traveling, just up in a suit)

change: Has your OC ever drastically changed their appearance? Significant haircuts, big tattoos, complete wardrobe swap, etc? Why? How do they feel about the change?

Alex has changed significantly appearance wise. Because. he's trans lmao. Initially it was when he cut his hair at 18 and really started being Alex that things Change, and then we came to the neath and had access to neathy testosterone he physically changed a fair bit. #trans rights. oh also he got a flame tattoo at his first feast of the rose because he likes flame

Josie appearance wise is that grand of a change, but she's def shifted over time. Acess to better clothes, aquiring her glasses, changing how she presented herself. Josie wanted to come across as professional in her adult years, which is a bit of a push to get people to accept her.

you will never believe what happened again

this is the second funkiest swap au i've made. the first funkiest remains hidden in dms and they haven't even gotten their names yet, but their secrecy is probably for the best right now since the current name is fucking beechswapswap and i can't take it seriously like that

anyway have some heroforge and names of the newest one while i figure out what the fuck is going on with some of them. I have major details, but minor ones are still being worked out.

i also need a better au name but that's not quite so important

Rayonnant (Jet) (name source)

rayonnant is about to sock someone. it may or may not be OG obsidian. it's far more likely that it's not, but it took me less than a day to decided they'd starting fighting 2 minutes after meeting and put each other in a body cast and learn absolutely nothing from that. so it's totally og obsidian.

he's rather violent. I was going to say 'violent for a Jet alt' but no he's just Violent. up there with obsidian himself. which is part of why i think they're going to try to kill each other the first time they meet.

he will let. one (1) person call him 'Ray'. and that person is shrike. and only when they're alone. Baroque was probably allowed at one point, but either has had that privileged revoked or is just too afraid to say it at all now since Rayonnant gets reeaally mad about anyone hearing that nickname

Baroque (Dark) (that also came from architecture, though 'Baroque' is a descriptor/name for several other things)

someone had to help me with the color for baroque's jacket. and it took me an age just to figure out what kind of a pose I wanted him to have. but here he is. he's got more anxiety than dark but is better at hiding it. slightly. just slightly.

His soul is in the same half-n-half positivity/corruption state that og Jade's is in. so he's still blonde, but has the greyblue/pale yellow eyes that og Dark, a full corrupt, has.

the blonde is reminding me of…something. i can envision it in my head but i have no idea what it's called or how to describe it.

Shrike (Obsidian)

Shrike's pose also killed me. I didn't want him to try to rest his elbow on the goddam SPIKES on his GLOVES so i turned that hand over. i swapped the arm positions, thinking it'd make more visual sense that way, and was still unhappy with it but absolutely did not want to try again so he's staying like that. we suffer together.

please also observe the full scars and the tattoo + Magic Marking Bullshit that the coat hid. probably the only time any version of Obsidian what would have a bird tattoo. *technically*, its a swallow. as far as I'm concerned though it's a shrike.

'why is he shirtless' you'll never guess. you'll never ever guess why. the obsidian alt being shirtless shall be a mystery for the ages. (joking)

coughs also there was another obsidian alt that i, at one point, genderbent and thought it would be in-character for her to just have an open jacket and a bra. then remembered that her original male counterpart is completely covered up, and that just felt so ungirlboss of me. so. um. just in case. y'know. for. for science reasons. tbh tho i kinda think a genderbent shrike would wear a shirt. no idea why (genuine)

hoatzin was slapped together in like 15 minutes because i needed to go to bed but kept saying 'okay let me just do this one part' and then suddenly i had a whole entire Woman.

also she hasn't taken those braids out in months, at best, and if and when she ever does that bit of hair is gonna be sooooooooo wavy

she is also have THE worst time out of everyone on the team. sorry hoatzin.

Starling (Zuli)

Starling has wrist-mounted blades for melee, a spear for when he wants a little bit of distance but is still in melee range, and a gun.

The closest to Hoatzin, but that's not really saying much. considering he just happens to stay furthest away from her biggest problem whenever he can, and she can't feel emotions at all so she doesn't really care about him all that much.

maybe it'll change tho. who knows.

Cassowary/'Cass' (Mercury)

cass needs some help but tbf so does everyone else. he's just. gonna have a harder time getting out of there than the rest of the team. not that he realizes it.

Took me an age and a day to figure out what he and Thrush's backstories were, but I have it now. The brass knuckles helped. also a science sans alt got his hands on those AND a semi-automatic pistol? it's so funny to me. sci with a gun AND brass fucking knuckles to crack bone. And he's a hell of a lot stronger than he looks. At least in his fighting gear; if he's wearing a T-shirt you become notably less surprised by his strength.

just be glad it wasn't the foot-long handheld claw things.

His glasses are technically goggles. He doesn't trust normal glasses not to fall off while he's fighting. i don't really do a lot of hand to hand combat (or any combat at all outside of video games), but i wouldn't trust my glasses either.

FASCINATING scar also. wonder where that came from. totally not the guy manipulating him ahahaha that'd be crazy

not that anyone will be able to tell, but i just did a Save As of Francisco and all i did to adjust the body was add more muscle. this is useless information but you have it anyway

Thrush (Jasper)

he's doing his best. unlike the khakis. that's the adjusted version of the color they called khaki. we don't get nice things with the colors sometimes.

he's fucking strong. he looks strong but do you have any idea how heavy an axe that size is???? he could chuck you across the room. he should use all those muscles to hug and smooch me. Huh who said that

He used to be very friendly, but. you don't really feel like being friendly when your boss is an evil overlord blackmailing you, so you have to go terrorize people when he says to. with his face all over the fucking news now, though, he uh. he doesn't really. want to try to talk to people. because he doesn't want to start trouble. but i mean other than that he's super sweet! (said with an unconvincing smile)

he's good friends with Cass in particular, though he and Starling get along pretty well too. Most of the time. Starling's...surprisingly yappy.

Loon (Zircon)

that is the least awkward pose I could get him. he's got a second shoe i just wanted to shoe robot leg.

Pretty nasty magic blast to right leg. Really, really nasty magic blast right to the chest from two whole directions. TLDR he's goddamn lucky he's alive.

The worst of them (chest + left leg, but mostly chest) cause him pain pretty regularly, and will do so...pretty much the rest of his life. The chest one is really easy to aggravate. He was deemed too disabled by his superiors and is now a retired veteran house husband.

Birkin rolled over to look at the time, five in the morning, the sky barely blue. He let out a soft sigh as he settled back down under the covers, looking at your sleeping face.

You were so cute when you slept- he could lay there for hours just watching you sleep.

Carefully he brought his hand to your waist, bringing you closer to him. You stirred lightly as he kissed your forehead, getting a small chuckle out of him as you reached up and curled your arm around his waist.

Sometimes it still surprised him that you wanted him- that you still want him. The way you snuggled up to him made him melt, reminded him of what it was to be just him. No worrying about the day, no worrying about what he’d have to do later on- just the two of you warm and safe. Gently he traced small circles on your back, watching your eyebrows furrow and hearing you mumble. “I know it’s early, babe- but we should try to get a head-start…” 

When you stretched out and started to open your eyes he pulled you as close as he could, giving you a firm kiss on your forehead. And when you sleepily asked for a few more minutes he chuckled, “No, no you’ll fall back to sleep on me.”

He couldn’t help but chuckle more as you opened one eye to glare at him, giving your side a little pinch just to make you squirm. Followed by giving you kisses until you were laughing and kicking your legs, only stopping when you promised you’d get up too.

With one last kiss to your cheek he sat up and ran a hand over his hair, “I’ll get that fence finished today…” he said mostly to himself.

He swore he’d finished that thing sooner, but he ran out of paint and you both forgot to get more. Not that it really mattered, you didn’t exactly live the closest to others to really need a little white fence- but he promised you a little white fence and a nice little house. And he was going to keep that promise.

After lugging himself out of bed and throwing on an old white tank-top and his boots. Laundry had to be done so it didn’t matter if he got dirt and paint on himself, he could just take a shower before he had to do his “job” later. And besides, it’s not like anyone else could see his tattoos besides you, the ones you love to trace so much when you two are in bed or on the couch.

Once you were up and about the house you could see him working in the front- he just about had the fence done, him having to almost constantly push his hair out of his face, his grey hair standing out in the morning sun.

Sometimes it was still a shock that he trusted you to see his face so often, but he had to admit it was one of the most treasured feelings when you’d trace the scars.

As the morning drew on though he still hadn’t come inside- peeking out the window you spotted him clearing up a portion of the yard he was going to have some plants you two could harvest from later on considering getting to the store was more of a chore than anything.

Sometimes you wondered if his “job” was slowing down, but he promised you it was just that he sometimes didn’t know what to do with himself if he wasn’t working- so slowly perfecting your home was his best method of staying busy in between his hours. 

When he finally came back inside he let out a little huff, “Sometimes I forget I’m not as young as I used to be.” he laughed to himself.

Though before he ran off for the bath he grabbed your arm over the counter, pulling you a little closer, “I’m gonna get a shower and head out, alright?” he said softly, “Promise I’ll be back by dinner though, and if by chance I’m not you can kick my ass.”

Part two of my goblin-self doll update!

Thar be walls of text ahead, ye have been warned.

Right, so. Bods all good to go now. For the head, I actually wanted to try and just fit the new goblin style ears over the original ears on Draculaura's Sculpt. This didn't end up working, but I spent a stupid amount of time trying to make the 3D file of the ears have a cavity that would fit the original ears inside em. It wasn't for nothing though, cause during all that I ended up also adding the holes for the tunnels/plugs and making tiny jewelry to 3D print. It's kinda hard to see em right now since both the ears and the jewelry are made with the clear resin, I think these look much better than my first goblin-self who just had holes drilled out after the fact with slivers of rolled pop cans as the tunnels.

I also adjusted one ear to be more curled into itself because I actually have 2 very distinctly different ears in real life. Kinda ironically the doll that should have exaggerated features has ears that are less noticeably different than I do lmao

Side note that it's actually one of the few features I really like about myself. I should really take a photo while my hair is still short AF to show it 😅 But my right ear is the spitting image of what my dad's ears were, flatter overall and it sticks out more. Where as my left is my mom's, closer to my head with a more pronounced ridge. Fun facts lol

Anyway!

While I was fussing with all that on the computer and during the body dying, I was trying to ever so slightly shrink the dolls head in acetone. I didn't want to actually shrink the head, I just wanted to stiffen up the vinyl. I've seen a number of doll artists shrink the heads of their dolls to make the proportions more normal and it also hardens up the vinyl significantly. I think that this is why I kept having the line between the Apoxie Sculpt and the vinyl on my first head.

I don't think I let the head soak long enough in the end, but I was really worried about the head shrinking significantly. It was hard to tell when to take it out of the acetone/water mix since it swells to twice the normal size while soaking and then as it dries the vinyl shrinks back down. But it felt a bit more resistant to me squishing it so at least there is that?

I've since decided that I'm not going to sculpt the jaw out to be more like my real face. While Draculaura certainly has a much smaller chin than I do, I think that the features are close enough that I'm fine with it. Her nose is different than mine in a way I can't really resculpt anyway, so I'm just going to chalk that up to goblin features!

So now we're pretty much caught up to the current point of progress! The ears have been printed and attached, still using some Apoxie Sculpt to blend the connection in to the head. I also used a very thin layer to cover the holes from the factory hair plugs, creating a nice smooth skull shape! Or so I hope 😅

Since taking those photos I've added a couple of other details with some puffy paint that I hope will create subtle raised parts for piercings and a rather prominent scar on my chest. I've also tried to sculpt the cheeks a little bit by strategically sanding them. I'll have to compare to those photos cause I really dont think it did much. I got the needed layers of MSC sprayed and now she's ready for her base coat of primer and green skin!

Hopefully next time you hear about this doll, she'll be green and getting tattoos!

okay so to me, yuki holds personal choice and her own free will in very high regard. this goes along with the fact that she was supposed to merge with tengen as a spv but ultimately didn't go through with it. as far as i know, it's unclear in canon why she didn't go through with the merger, but i think her own choice to walk away played a major role in it and the higher ups let her do it bc of her technique (and because they're cowards who fear special grade sorcerers but that's another conversation)

in terms of appearance and presentation, i think yuki likes to play around with that sort of stuff. this is why yuki w dark roots/bleached hair is so special to me. i think she gets piercings, and then lets them close up once she's tired of them. i think she gets tattoos, and then maybe gets a few covered up. i think she should get to dye her hair purple and blue and pink and whatever other colors she wants. i think she enjoys buying new clothes and putting outfits together and making herself look how she feels, and her being trans just fits in with that so well. and i think she knew she was trans from a young age, and that solid aspect of her identity was something she could hold onto even as a star plasma vessel who isn't supposed to have a sense of identity, and that was how she knew she wanted to continue living as herself instead of merging with tengen. and along with the clear choices yuki has made concerning her appearance, i also think she doesn't cover up any of the things that are proof she's lived. she doesn't cover up her scars or freckles or moles with makeup. she doesn't shave her arms or legs. because she wasn't supposed to live as long as she has - she was supposed to merge with tengen and lose herself in the process - so everything that is evidence of the life she's lived is a reminder of how far she's come. they're a reminder that she chose to live, and it's a choice she wakes up and makes every day.

i don't think yuki was ever very close to her parents, and she never really had friends at school either. she learned to rely on herself when she was young, so by the time she ended up at jujutsu high, she was already independent. i do, however, think she got along fine with her classmates. but she clashed with the higher ups and most of her teachers quite a bit, and was always labelled as a troublemaker. i also think she had to fight hard to get full acknowledgement as a special grade - a lot harder than gojo and geto, who were basically just given their rankings. i think she had to prove herself several times over before the higher ups finally promoted her to special grade. i also think she was probably the sort of student who would not hesitate to call out the teachers if they were wrong about something, or ask questions that no one else wants to think about the answers to (hence, her going off and doing research on her own after she graduated)

i also think, at some point, she told the higher ups' her intention to study cursed energy and curses and figure out a way to cut off the problem at its source, and they all laughed in her face. i think the higher ups have basically ridiculed/taunted/looked down upon her from the moment she rejected her merger, and there are a lot of rumors spread about her that paint her in a negative light because of it. sometimes, she plays into them just because it gets people to leave her alone. in reality, she can be kind when she wants, but she's also tough and mean and and blunt and doesn't care if she hurts your feelings. she prefers to work alone, but she has a soft spot for people she can see her younger self in - people who are trying to figure out who they are and what their purpose in the world is. i think this is probably why she took in todo and trained him; she saw something in him that reminded her of herself, back when she was desperate for even one other person who understood, and she took on that role of being todo's one person who could understand

anyway this is long already so i'll stop here but. to me, the best yuki is one who shamelessly alive. someone who nearly had her soul taken away from her and now knows how precious it is to be in your own body and make your own choices. she doesn't have time for regret or guilt. she's determined and stubborn. she's powerful, and she isn't afraid to prove it. she's smart, she's strong, she's flawed, and she is herself

I tell people I have a scar from a bad burn when I was younger. I have found the remaining scar looks only like a normal skin graft like a burn would. Most people will assume you had some accident on your arm (passers by), people who stop to ask you, honestly, they don't need an answer. You don't have to say anything to anyone. You can say "I don't like to talk about what happened its hard" or a "long story to talk about".

I flat out told everyone I had a bad burn and it needed to be grafted. Usually if anyone says anything they already have a story they want to tell you and don't really care about yours (in my experience). I usually spend way longer listening to other people.

I know people who find good tattoo artists to cover the scar too (but work with the artist to make sure the design will hide it).

I know it's hard, but outside the community (at least in my experience) no one has a clue what phalloplasty even is, let alone that my arm is a scar from that. Therefore, no one will really know what it is, I learned not to worry.

You can cover it up? I used to wear huge leather cuffs when I first was "showing" my scar. This can get kind of uncomfortable just as an FYI, especially when it's hot.

If you want, you can look up something like common injuries to the forearm that require skin grafts, I'm sure google can give you some ideas.

If you pick a story, stick to it, though. So keep it simple to remember. Like I said, people treat you to opening this conversation as show and tell for themselves. Comparing scars and telling you their stories in detail. Your story kind of becomes irrelevant at that point in my humble opinion.

If you want you can even say they took that as the graft for somewhere else? (This was just a random thought I just came up with)

If you want to say something along the lines of being towards the truth, you could say you had an injury to your phallis you were (re)born with. Or [I haven't looked into this in eons mind you] you can say you were born with a microphallis/penis and you wanted to get it enlarged. That's the best I could come with along your lines (being truthful-ish), and trying to not get lumped into the intersex box.

good question.. maybe her thick facial stripes? she has very fluffy cheeks and i like her hair too so maybe that. she has a kind of sleepy looking face

motion: How does your OC move? How does their clothing help or hinder their range of motion? Are they flexible, coordinated, clumsy?

she tends to 'stroll' would be the best way to describe her slower gait i think, or 'stride' and move with purpose! she leads with her shoulders and has heavy footing i think. not particularly coordinated but not super clumsy, her only flexibility comes from doing stretches pre workout and her arms/fingers/wrists move easily from being a musician playing bass. i dont know if her clothes rly help or hinder her range of motion she just wears like normal person clothes. they might seem kind of constricting to blue if he tried something like a button-up (he hates buttons) but their styles dont rly match up theyre both masculine in different ways

she doesnt usually wear jewelry she'd probably just motion to her hearing aids and say they count. she may wear rings sometimes but likely not anything else. sometimes she might borrow or wear blue's dog tags (that can signal MANY different things in their relationship or lack thereof at the time)

shes probably got cool work boots she likes that she wears constantly! she also wears cowboy hats sometimes so shes probably got some favorites she got in texas she keeps with her. i dont think she wears them a lot though

blue: it does depend on the show but typically i do think he dresses up more on stage but its mostly in like leather harnesses and spiked wristbands and stuff, maybe more of his piercings in and necklaces, tail bands and stuff. underneath maybe shirtless or in a tank top/black t (that he'll probably throw off at some point) with leather pants maybe, shoes that r comfortable to run around on stage for a few hours in. at home hes just in like a tank top and sweatpants lol. he is not dressing up at home. archetypal masc fits

elle [blues band]: she dresses slightly punkier (wristbands or jewelry maybe) or leans into her country roots more on stage than just day-to-day where she probably wears button ups or something. i could see her dressing kind of like an old southern man ngl lol

dakota [blues band]: ive been struggling w their clothing style at ALL tbh at first i thought i wanted smth more feminine for them then i leaned more masc at the moment im thinking maybe like goth-y punk-y emo androgynous SPECIFICALLY the kind of androgynous associated with that scene. on stage probably lots of black and layers, spiked collar and maybe a leash, etc. dakotas fur color palette is pretty grayscale so i think they lean into that with a lot of black outfits, maybe with splashes of electric blue like their eyes. probably that teal harness sometimes i drew them in on their th

lizzie: she has her lobes pierced but that's it for piercings. no tattoos. she has plenty of small scars, mostly nicks and scratches and some burns. a lot of them are on her arms. she also has a very gnarly gunshot scar on her abdomen that didn't heal well, and a long stab wound scar on the back of her shoulder

hawk: no piercings or tattoos. he has mainly small scars but almost all of them are from like. minor accidents like his pocket knife slipping or sarah catching him with a hot pan or their old dog biting him. he also has some small marks on his knuckles from getting into fights

sarah: ears pierced and septum piercing! she absolutely wants tattoos but hasn't been able to afford them. she is shockingly good at avoiding injuring herself and simply not good at not accidentally injuring others so they don't have very many scars, but i think they have a long scar going up their ankle from playing in the creek as a kid and tripping over a rock

pix: tattoossss he has so many tattoos. near full sleeves and chest and back like newt geiszler pacific rim. i've seen a couple people do this before usually with it being linked to pixandrian religion and once he moves there that definitely is part of it (he also gets some unwilling scars/brands as part of the whole lightning shrine thing which sorta blend in) but he also had a lot before he moved just because he likes em! he still covers a lot of them up though out of force of habit

💔 what I don’t like about a character

pix: im going to heal the hater within me and not talk about this from a meta standpoint because ive said enough already about both characters wasted potential/unfinished storylines. SO i think he has a serious victim complex. especially in his relationship with fwhip but also just in general he takes things soooo hard and feels so responsible for everything but then it sort of turns round into an endless cycle of him beating himself up and its like Can you focus on the fucking matter at hand. It's difficult to say if this is something i Dislike because it's just a trait he has at the end of the day and a very essential one to his arc i would argue that his fate hinges on his inability to let things go so it's not like i would ever want to get rid of it but he makes me Angry.

fwhip: honestly he is just sort of an annoying cunt i can't be nice about that part cfwhip is known to be a bit of a dick. he's not even that malicious i just think he's very childish in the way he deals with shit? which isn't really his fault in some ways but. I have bottom dysphoria, some days are worse than others but since most ppl on the street see me as a man its not that bad, sometimes i penetrate sometimes i dont, i feel inadequate probably because of social norms (bottom growth made it BIG tho and im so happy about that)

Lights on but i used to look straight at a wall while showering and just wash myself and not look at my body, i like showering (used to do it every day because of trauma and feeling "dirty") lately i look more at my body and am in awe of how cool it looks (tiniest bit of hair on the shoulders, looking at how much smaller my waist has gotten, looking at my happy trail, just kinda amazed at fat redistribution)

I like my voice but i feel like irl if i talk to people it's much higher than when im in my room making voice memos, i liked my voice pre-T it was rather deep

okay im going to find out how different genshin is rn. i dont have money for zelda games so the knockoff gacha version will have to do. if its not horrible still. sorry i just fucking hated kind of everything about sumeru. i mean the aranaras where cute, but their quest line was literally the only one i cared about. and the restrictiveness of it all started to piss me off. you couldnt really do shit. cant catch big animals. cant interact with like anything in the world. cant even buy cooking ingredients with the small ass stock. cant lower the rendering distance. cant do quests because "a character is busy with another one of your quests", like what even is that. just hide the models if you don't want the player to see double of a character. also I really hate the animation that happens when you go to the menu/tab thing. I hate how the counters on choosing stacked objects accelerate. i hate how every character looks the same. I hate how you cant skip dialogue efficiently. i hate the arbitrary limitations in the teapot realm build mode. I hate the pointless dialogue options. I hate how the bounty enemies spawn near other enemies. i hate how the hilichurls have been proven to have sentience but the player has to continue killing them. I hate how limited the "difficulty mode" chooser is. i hate the way you have no indication on if a surface is climable or not. i hate the way trees show no indication when you've gotten all the wood that you can from one. i hate how pyro characters get cold just as easily as others, and how fire from their abilities does not affect the cold meter at all. I hate the way boss enemies cant be hit multiple times in a row, and need a pause in between every hit for them to register. i hate the way ley line blooms have no visible count down to their dissapearance, despite there existing one. i hate how they made a single new bait for every fish in sumeru. I hate how the map doesnt show underground areas. i hate how boss enemies take forever to complete their wake up animation, making surprise plummet attacks impossible. i hate how they're getting kids addicted to gambling. "Fresh and Tasty Chop Suey!". "We'll grill your entire fish!". "Fengen's Ironmongers". "Moonpies! That's what I'll make him!"...

have they released a new nation yet? im most excited about the hydro nation probably. I don't have much faith in pyro, and cryo aka uhh i forgot the name...wtv so i feel like cryo will be too story focused that you won't really get chances to do things on your own. I mean id like some old ass, fancy ass, russian empire stuff. maybe we'll get female characters that dont wear booty shorts and thigh highs. perhaps we'll get slavic faces. although thats just wishful thinking. i doubt that they'll spend money on any more player skeletons lmao. although they really arent doing shit with the models either. actually yeah, even if they didnt want to pay someone to make new skeleton rigs, they could definetly do a lot more with the models than what theyre doing now. like genuinely it would not be hard to alter the models to make each one at least a bit unique. like please dont continue to do that smooth skinny dolls with little noses ass shit. also why are their faces so bare. most there is is when the hair covers a part of their faces. but like,, tattoos? smudges? freckles? moles? scars? birthmarks? piercings? like literally anything omg.

i dont have any faith in HoYo to have fixed any of these tbh. i just like having games that have routine things you can do every day, with no big consequences if you miss a day or a week. ill see what updates i can find on it. ill probably download it either way, even if it still sucks and feels tiring. ill delete it if I hate it so much.
