i went into a depressive slump meaning i listened to burn pygmalion on repeat until i felt better (works every time) and i had the most insane art idea as i listened to the end of death, thrice drawn. you're looking at it right now.

anyway, uhm on my redraw of the album cover i titled it DROWN EURYDICE!!! a better guide to resurrection. i wanted to change it accordingly to suit alex and viv better, as well as the visuals. to assign vivian and alex to greek myth: they are Orpheus and Eurydice respectively. alex wouldn't look back, but more than that, they could not be orpheus because they simply wouldn't go to hell to bring viv back. not because they don't love her, but because they move on, or force themselves to in a manner that is cruel to themself and others. vivian, on the other hand, would go to hell to bring alex back. she doesn't move on from things. not from alex. moreover, she would Look Back. she would look back because she loves alex, just like she looks back on their time together after they're gone. in both instances, it brings her immense pain, and in a way alex dies all over again.

and, its drown eurydice, not just for alex's physical drowning, because of the album contents itself. im fairly certain that "pygmalion" in the album is sylvia, the superstar, when in the context of the song pygmalion (which talks about "Pygmalion" in second person and how she feels about her "sculpture," jeanine. to assign viv and alex to the characters of the album: they are jeanine and sylvia respectively.
