every now and then i look back on this GIF i have of nalu during tartaros arc and cry about how this particular scene alone solidifies the beauty of their relationship (natsu holding lucy's hand gently in the face of chaos and panic did wonders to my heart)

Minthara says “in Her name” when you first meet her and she’s following the Absolute but when you recruit her and she expresses that she no longer follows any god, but she still has an intact paladin oath, and she says “in your name” occasionally because she’s no longer Lolth’s paladin or the Absolute’s paladin, she’s your paladin

#😭#she might not think you’re a god or whatever but you’re the only one that ever came to save her #and if you let her read your mind you’re the only one she knows has no intention to hurt or use her #like I feel like what Minthara wants most of all is to not have to look over her shoulder or wait for the shoe to drop #like every relationship she’s had as a lolthsworn drow has come with the caveat that everyone will take her out if they have the chance #and if it benefits them even a little #lolth literally encourages this so long as you aren’t obvious about it #and lolth will 100% punish you the second she has an excuse to #and then the absolute like while she was being controlled probably felt more like genuine love than Minthara ever experienced #but it came with Orin and punishments for failing #and her being literallly mind controlled into her #so it’s still violent and threatening even if the extent of that is only realized after she’s pulled out of it #but then there’s you who pulled her out of that #who can clearly and plainly show her that you have no intention of hurting her even if it benefits you #and who went out of your way to rescue her when no one else she was devoted to ever would #and you offered her the means to not only stay safe from the absolute but to get revenge on it #of course it’s ‘in your name’ now you’re the only person that gave Minthara a reason for her to follow you #that wasn’t threats of violence and suffering #you literally gave her the opposite #she’s YOUR paladin it doesn’t matter if aren’t a god #you could be tho #Minthara #minthara baenre #bg3 #baldur's gate 3

#art #twisted wonderland #twisted wonderland spoilers #twisted wonderland episode 7 spoilers #twisted wonderland book 7 spoilers #they are truly the most inspiring love story of our generation #though i guess he's not dr. zigvolt since zigvolt is the clan name...#unless he took her name which i absolutely could see. why would you ever not want to be called zigvolt.#this does tie nicely in with my headcanon that sebek's siblings got more of the fae features than he did #and he has a Complex about it #i get the impression that sebek's siblings are much closer in age to each other and also have more of their dad's chill #so sebek is sort of the baby of the family and he's got a Complex about that too #i think a lot about the zigvolt family for characters who have never actually appeared #on the subject of actual canon though #i do actually really appreciate that both sebek and silver each had a little moment of reassuring each other #that this is 400 years ago and also incredibly unfortunate circumstances #and present-day reality lilia and baul love them very much #(i do think sebek is secretly baul's favorite grandkid)#it was just nice to see! especially from sebek! he is sometimes a very thoughtful boy and it's always nice to see that side of him #sebek trying SO hard to get baul to like him though 😭#and lilia being like 'aw i think you're getting kind of fond of him :)'#i love. Climbing and stuff #cause dunmer and altmer etc. have straight nails. they can hit the nail salon

hemlo!! thank ya'll so so much for enjoying this lil comic series!! i know it's been a year since the first part, but most importantly i finished it 💀✨️

every single tags ya'll leave on me posts and past questions i recieve about this au is super appreciated, they make me smile the widest you have no clue!! im just a lil mad at myself that i couldn't expand on this au more so yall could have had more crumbs. irl stuff happened + still getting the hang of drawing and socializing again after years of doing neither of those 😭

but still, im glad i could share this comfort comic i made for myself, and for you guys too. it's a pretty personal one despite the characters not being mine 😅 i hope that you can walk away from this story believing (entirely or not) that someone out there still thinks of you, whether they're from a late/absent loved one who still wants the best for you or a dear friend who will make room in their hearts for you. life will never not be hard, but if you keep them close to your heart, adulting will be bearable 🫂
