What do the assholes that run the streaming companies think their gods? I've seen this happen on Disney plus, Paramount plus, Netflix and I wouldn't be surprised if the rest follow suit. That's just deciding for no good reason to pull off series after series that are popular, that are well liked and are doing good in any kind of rating system that exists. They just killed them for no good fucking reason. I'm fucking tired of the shit with them and they think that were just gonna keep letting them do this bullshit again and again. Drop crap in the place of really good shows. Because that's what they did at least I've noticed on Paramount plus.

It's not because of the strikes so don't anybody even try to go there. They dropped off show like Star Trek Prodigy that has nothing to do with the strikes it's an animated series and a yank the whole first season and had it thrown off the platform and it's now looking for a new home. It's a Star Trek series everything Star Trek is on fucking Paramount plus so where the fuck is it supposed to go?!? Maybe I'll just go to fuck back the cable because streaming services seem to be worse than cable ever was! It's like we opened a Pandora with box of bullshit except now we're paying for each one of the goddamn channels now. If you're too young to understand this once upon a time there was a thing called cable and we'd have something like 60, 70, 80 a 100 plus channels. Each one of those channels would be like the Disney Channel, the Discovery Channel, the Netflix Channel and so on, but you wouldn't have to pay a premium price for each one of the fucking channels only like HBO. You'd pay one monthly fee and you get all the fucking channels. But now in 2023 we have streaming services, where one is like 6.99, here 14.99, there 9.99 there 12.99, there what have you. So we're now paying more than we ever would have paid for cable. We're still having to deal with commercials which use be one of reasons to get streaming services but not anymore!! We're pretty much getting fucked and not in anyway that's good and fun!!! Actually I want cable from like the 80s but with 200 channels, MTV that plays music videos, a world that never figured out or created reality tv, cartoons on Saturday mornings on all channels even ESPN mf!!! I want them to sit the fuck down and try just try to come up with shows like Designing Women, Golden Girls, Good Times, The Jeffersons, Mork and Mindy, original ideas people! Not the same old seen before or doing reboot of something again. Get rid of all the news channels while we're at it, unless their independent companies of the free press that their only job is to report the news and they're not under any obligation by any company to promote a certain viewpoint or political ideology we don't need them anymore. There now more dangerous then helpful.

So... has anyone else noticed that in that scene from ep4, in the room with all the X-men effigies... the Gambit one had its' skin mysteriously darkened.

All the effigies had the glowing red eyes, but only the Gambit effigy had darkened skin... not unlike a certain Horseman of the Apocalypse.

And let's not forget this...

I mean, I'm not saying this is foreshadowing, but... that sure is what it looks like right now.

On today's episode of how to not knit a swatch-

we're gonna go ahead pluck a section of a sweater and knit it to see if I could even knit this cable and mock cable combination without losing my mind (despite already dropping $8 dollars on the pattern). Already we're off to a great start by catastrophically screwing up the mock cables, so good job Jen-

I mean.... it looks like it's in gauge. So imma start knitting this sweater tomorrow.

(To those not in the fiber community, you're supposed to cast on enough stitches to knit a 4x4 inch square and measure the stitches in it after washing and 'blocking' the fabric [where you pin the still damp knitting to shape so it dries that way] so you can go a needle size up if its too small or a size down if the fabric is too big. But because I'm impatient and I don't like wasting yarn, I'm frogging this yarn and using it to cast on my project.)

#posting for the incredibly small niche of tumblr knitters from australasia #i’ve had a migraine for four days and the local craft store was out of 2mm 60cm fixed circular needles #i have had to adjust my beanie plans accordingly. we’re making do with 2mm 25cm needles #you may ask why i’m knitting a beanie on 2mm at all and the answer is that i like to suffer #(actually i just prefer the look of the smaller stitches with 4ply i think it looks really nice even if i screw up my tension)#but yeah. i got sick of trying to make magic loop work on my 2mm 120cm needles #i use knitpro symfonie because it’s ubiquitous and i think the 2mm needles really don’t like it #the plastic cables just aren’t that flexible especially when you work at the tension i do (i.e. way too tight)#the cables want to fold rather than bend and if you let them they’ll work harden and snap eventually #hence the hunt for shorter needles #anyway. back to being in pain and regretting my life choices 👍#knitblr #whispers from the mycelium

It occurs to me that what we saw in ep7 may have been Rogue going through the 5 stages of grief. She started with Denial (can't accept that Remy's dead) and Anger (killing Trask).

Cable showing up with the possibility of saving Remy via time travel could mean we'll see Bargaining in ep8, then Depression if that somehow doesn't work.

If this is what's happening, then my guess is Remy won't return until after Rogue reaches the Acceptance stage. In storytelling terms, that's just how this stuff tends to work. I kind of hope I'm wrong though; I really don't feel like waiting that long to get him back, but I could see it playing out like this...

In the closing scene of ep10, Rogue finally, sadly accepts that Remy is gone, she visits his grave to say goodbye... only to find the grave empty.

BOOM. Enter Death!Gambit or Prime Sentinel!Gambit... in season 2.
