2. be the change you wish to see in the world

i don’t wanna be a dick but like i can see what you guys say pretty easily. im not some huge media producer who doesn’t pay attention. im a small creator who draws his oc kissing another oc 😭 (im not even indie!!! i’m even smaller than that!!! i don’t make ANY money from truffula flu or anything like that!! to some of you guys i might feel like a big deal but im just some guy in a niche fandom of a niche fandom of a niche fandom. i’m an absolute nobody outside this teeny tiny corner of the internet!!)

ever since camp entre picked back up last year i’ve seen ppl get more and more uh…bold i guess..with what they say and i just want to nip that behavior right there in the bud bc camp entre (or any truffula flu story for that matter) is not Big Media

none of us get or have gotten royalties or whatever from it. camp entre was a former-friend group’s public rp. keep that in mind when you say stuff in tumblr tags or use searchable words/phrases please. any one of us could be looking at any time

Why So Blue?

Alright, Baby Varian writes about a lot science stuff in my Crescent Moon TTS comic (exemplified on this page and the next: https://berryjammer7.tumblr.com/post/637645850521272320/crescent-moon-pg-01 ), so now I am going to extrapolate excessively about it to provide you all with even more needless details--specifically about the science of blue! (This will be a long one and a lot of text, so grab some tea or something)

Firstly, let’s talk about what most fans know about Varian’s blue hair streak. The blue streak does exist. He’s had it since he was a baby as seen in a photo from the show, and the color eyedropper tool in my art app tells me that is blue (NOT green, you colorblind fools). Then there’s the whole theory that Varian’s dad Quirin absorbed some of the moonstone while working with the brotherhood after it exploded a little bit (as one does). Then he passed that on to Varian. All of which is well and good.

But let’s talk about the SCIENCE!

Ironically, this is not the first time I’ve dealt with blue hair [insert artist backstory]. Before TTS even came out, I created an OC I named Blueberry (my user-name-sake) who also has blue hair:

Blue, as it turns out, is actually very rare in nature, and this sci-show youtube video https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=9cdoPD51bng provides a pretty good summary of why that is (and how pigments work in general).

So while I had long since determined Blueberry had a plant based pigment that made his hair blue (anthocyanin), Varian clearly had some sort of mineral based pigment from the moonstone. I’m guessing he only ever had enough passed on from his dad to turn his hair slightly blue (until he snatched the moon shard in my comic, that is).

But I’m going to take this one step further. Varian’s hair is black, and if you’ve ever tried to dye dark hair, you’ll know that it is hard for any color to stand out without bleaching it first. And that’s where Poliosis comes in.

If Varian has a single strand of hair that produces no melanin, then the blue pigment can show more clearly. I find this to be a really cool option because I actually have poliosis (or something similar.)

(Kinda like reverse Rapunzel, amiright? My blonde streak is somewhere on the back of my head though, so not as cool.) This is also called a Mallen streak, but because that term is more modern coming from a book series set in the 19th century, using it in the comic is a bit anachronistic. The condition has been associated with witchcraft for a long time though, which seems fitting for someone dealing with the magic of the moonstone (whether he ‘works with magic’ or no.)

So yeah! That’s it! Seriously, go watch that sci-show episode, blue is SO COOL! I do wanna add a disclaimer though—if I am wrong on any of this science stuff let’s just all pretend it’s due to the limits of scientific knowledge at the time the comic is set rather than my own fallibility.😅 Maybe people already know all this stuff, but I just never see it talked about!

I decided that I’mma take a big step back from the 911 fandom, because if last episode has taught me anything is that you guys have forgot to enjoy the show you’re watching.

As soon as the episode is over, all I’m seeing is unnecessary Tommy hate, people giving up on Buddie and people criticizing people for giving up, people saying Karen is oc, and that Eddie was acting out of character, and blah blah blah, and like all of you are wrong LMAO.

I think the problem is that everyone is watching this show with the expectation of watching the entire’s show’s future in one episode. Y’all want everything now, and it’s just not gonna happen like that, and on top of that, y’all want everything to be what y’all expected. So, let me crush that shit for you.

NO, they’re not gonna bring up Tommy’s past. They actually don’t give a fuck about what that man did, and you know why? Because the producers of whoever on this show literally called up Lou and was like “Hey, we need someone to be Buck’s boyfriend, wanna do it?” And that mf was like “Yeah, sure why not.” That’s most likely what happened. You know why? Because Tommy is only gonna be here for a very short time, so who gives a flying fuck. And Tommy in episode 5 wasn’t even that damn bad. Eddie acted the same way in the other cursed episode years ago. The only difference I would say about them is that Eddie expects Buck to believe in curses because he known him longer, so now it’s more endearing and induces playful banter. And with Tommy, this relationship with Buck is more new and his irritation comes from a place of genuine annoyance, instead of more endearing like Eddie. That’s it! That does not mean that Tommy is the devil’s incarnate, calm down.

NO, Eddie isn’t going to bust out the rainbow flag and touch nipples with Buck in one episode. ESPECIALLY now. Look, I want Buddie to happen, more than the next person. But this is Eddie Diaz we’re talking about. Eddie has a lot of shit to work through, and I’ll be honest with you, we probably won’t see Buddie become official until around the end of season 8. It’s the hard truth, but take comfort in knowing that this is indeed Eddie’s season—hence, the plethora of photo shoots and spotlight this man had recently.

NO, the characters weren’t oc. Karen had the right to be upset that Hen was always missing out on their family’s big moments, and from the fact that Hen doesn’t really try her hardest to take off of work. In my opinion, I think that’s a great way to open up the topic of the 118 becoming everything for these characters—like Hen, Bobby, Buck, Eddie, Chim—that they would forget that they have family at home, because the 118 is also their family, as well. no i mean, is that so hard to consider? They work these 24 hour shifts, and even sometimes longer and go through these traumatic events all the time. Of course there’s going to be some intense loyalty and bonds that would seem to “overshadow” what they have at home. That is actually a very interesting plot direction the writers could explore.

I could go on and on about the wild takes in the 911 fandom, because there’s just so many that I didn’t realize before. But can we all please, genuinely, shut the fuck up. Like for two seconds and enjoy our show. Because let me tell you what’s happening, you guys are theorizing yourselves TO DEATH. You guys are creating these wild expectations and you are setting yourselves up for disappointment. It’s good to hope for the things you want and sometimes it’s fun to theorize, but TAKE A BREATH. Because we are starting to look like crazy people, and let me remind you that these people SEE THE SHIT YOU’RE SAYING. You don’t think Oliver, Kenny, whoever the fuck is watching you rant on and on about how Tommy is a bastard and complaining that Eddie’s not gay yet. Get y’all shit together because it’s starting to look embarrassing and WEIRD.

Even I’m getting tired of my hypercritical ass, but I just wanna get one more thing out there about the third short for Helluva Boss bc it’s stuck in my brain:

Does anyone else get the “lol Mary sues are the worst thing to ever exist in fandom” vibe from it? That used to be a very popular sentiment, and honestly still is in many circles, so people felt not only safe — but also entitled — to shit on people that would make OCs/self-inserts that were emphatically perfect with no flaws and beloved by nearly all the canon characters from whatever movie or show or book the fic was written for.

Usually the ones that created these fics were pretty young and were more typically girls expressing themselves via writing. No they weren’t really high quality and yes they were a little embarrassing to outsiders but only as embarrassing as anything else adolescents do. But people would really go to task mocking and shaming these kinds of fics and art.

And then there was a big shift rather recently where people were defending Mary Sue projects because a collective understanding that what young girls liked and indulged in — romantic comedies, harlequin romance novels, boy bands, Twilight, etc. — often got vitriolic shame for no actual reason.

But the Emberlynn short feels kind of like a regression of this to me? Shaming girls for being “embarrassingly hormonal and melodramatic” and for enjoying supernatural romance/smut that they can project onto and feel like they’re part of it?

Idk, I understand that this might be gymnastic level reaching or seeing more to something than there really is, but I feel like Vivziepop and a good portion of her collaborators did grow up and partake in fandom around the time where shaming the Mary Sue concept was all the rage. And I don’t think Viv grew out of that mindset, or there’s a strong possibility that she still thinks that way and hasn’t grown past it given other things she does that reek of misogyny and 2012 trolling.

(Please also note that I’m not saying some of the things that are made fun of don’t deserve criticism — the My Immortal HP fanfic and Twilight have racist and sexist connotations that deserved rightful drawback. I’m more talking about the general disgust toward women and young girls being fans of something that specifically appeals to them like the romance and sexy stuff.)

I fr didn't like this mans and it was damn hard not to make him 100% an unlikable edgelord but i try to get that balance, to push myself out of my comfort zone in writing

and it did worked, the proof is that now in this new generation of CKB ocs, Cyprus is my most popular oc and there are a lot of yalls simping for him in my asks like slobbering on his knob type

so i decided to fuck with him and like curse him with really crappy traits like homophobia and transphobia, ykno to try and direct traffic to Yves and his Yandere line (blanche, Leveret, Monty)

Okay. Where to start?! I guess we can start what’s Project Sekai is and then later talking about the plot! :Dc

Let’s go!!! Project Sekai Lore 101! Or like. My attempt to explain it! •v•;

What is Project Sekai?

Well, it’s a mobile rhythm game where you tap/slide/flick on the notes to the beat of the song! However it’s also technically a sort of visual novel game too!

The gameplay revolves around the rhythm game, but the story is very much a visual novel! And you generally unlock the story through getting points via playing the rhythm game portion of Project Sekai (for the main story and during the event stories when live).

Oh. And it’s technically a Gacha game too, where ya pull cards of the characters (the art usually relates to the story/have a general theme for each set).

Of course, I could explain more about the general gameplay, but that’s not what this post is gonna be about, so let’s move on!!! >v<

What’s the Story of Project Sekai?

Okay, before I even talk about the story, I would need to give you some context on a bit of the world building within Project Sekai! Soooo…

Project Sekai Lore/World! (Or like as best I can explain anyway lol)

There is this plane called “In Between Worlds” which is essentially sort of like empty space where the OG Vocaloids resides (Miku, Kaito, Luka, Mekio, Rin, and Len). This place is where SEKAIs can form.

What are SEKAIs? Well they are essentially little tiny world that’s form!

Within those SEKAIs, there are essentially alter versions of Vocaliods depending on the group of people’s views on the Vocaloids, but mostly based on who themselves wanna be like (e.g. WxS Kaito being a good older brother role model, something Tsukasa strives to be) or based on people the group knows (e.g. VBS Meiko being based on An’s views of Nagi Kotaki, her aunt).

How does do these SEKAI form? Well they form when a group of people have a similar feeling/ambition/dream that they all wanna achieve!

However! There’s been cases where a Whole SEKAI are formed due to only one person’s intense feelings! But those are extremely rare since only a person’s feelings/emotions can create a Fragment SEKAI, if their feelings are strong enough at that moment. However unlike a fully developed SEKAI, a Fragment Sekai are pretty fragile and doesn’t last that long. While a complete SEKAI can last forever in theory iirc. :oc

But yeah! SEKAI are essentially mini worlds that are based on a group of people common feelings where the group can come in anytime they want via their phone/devices! The group usually first enters in via clicking on a mystery song that popped up within their playlist called “Untitled”. And Bada-Bing! Bada-Boom! They get to meet that world’s version of Hatsune Miku, and get a free therapist! XD

Of Course, this isn’t a well known thing in the general public, so the groups generally keeps the knowledge about their SEKAIs hush-hush. Which makes sense since like… how the hell would ya explain this to someone without them looking at ya strange? XD

What’s the Story of Project Sekai? (For Reals this time lol)

So, from what ya can gather from the worldbuilding/lore. Ya can probably guess that the general plot and goal of the story is for the Vocaloids to help guide the main casts towards their goals, and have them understand and express their feelings freely. Since once the group comes to an understanding of each other feelings, the Untiled song will then changed into an actual song that expresses the groups’ feelings!

So! Let’s dive into the Main Story within Project Sekai!

There are a total of 5 groups that we focus on! Each group contains 4 members! So that’s a total of 20 main characters! @v@

The Groups being…

Leo/need! (the typical band)

MORE MORE Jump! (the idol group)

Vivid BAD SQUAD (the street music group)

Wonderlands x Showtime (the theater/troupe group)

Nightcord at 25:00 (the online music video group)

And of course, the members within these groups has names~

L/N: Ichika Hoshino (vocalist/main guitarist), Saki Tenma (pianist), Honami Mochizuki (drummer), Shiho Hinomori (bass guitarist).

All of them were also childhood friends before they slowly drifted apart during Middle School due to Saki getting really sick due to her chronic illness, Shiho distancing herself from the group due to increased rumors about her, and Honami grew distant due to being ostracized for being too much of a people pleaser and thus people called her two faced. Ichika was the only one who didn’t know what happened, thus blamed herself for the rift. (Don’t worry, they get together of course ;3c)

Their goal is to become a professional and legit band~

MMJ: Minori Hanasato (the newcomer but with extreme hope and determination), Hakura Kiritani (retired idol before joining due to guilt of failing to look after a member within her old group), Airi Momoi (also left the industry before joining due to the industry never seeing her as a real idol thus letting her always play the role as a fool), Shizuku Hinomori (was still an idol during the main story before quitting her old group to joins MMJ)

Their goal is to bring hope and inspiration to their fans and to overcome the struggles within the idol industry~

VBS: Kohane Azusawa (a shy newcomer but with immense talent in singing), An Shiraishi (her whole life is street music and is considered a prodigy due to her being the daughter of a well known musician within the setting), Akito Shinonome (got into street music when he’s in middle school, sort of the underdog within the setting), Toya Aoyagi (the son of a really strict and famous classical musician, he met Akito while running away after getting sick of being focused to practice constantly and thus got introduced to street music)

Their goal is to surpass this super famous street music Event called RAD WEEKEND, that the RADer (the group that contains An’s dad, Ken Shiraishi, Taiga Kotaki, and Nagi Kotaki) and other well known street music groups did a few years ago that deeply inspired An and Akito~

WxS: Tsukasa Tenma (Actor who wants to be a star but originally forgot why at first until he remembers it was so Saki, her younger sister, would smile and be happy), Emu Otori (the daughter of the popular theme park, Phoenix Wonderland, she also strives to put a genuine smile on people’s faces to make them happy), Nene Kusanagi (the singer who love musical and always dreams of doing one to bring joy, but she has stage fright that she struggles to overcome at first), Rui Kamishiro (the director who loves to build extraordinary gadgets and equipments to make the show out of this world to bring excitement and joy for those who would watch)

Their goal is to save the old stage play within Phoenix Wonderland and to bring smiles and joy to everyone~

N25: Kanade Yoisaki (Composer who’s determined to constantly make music to save people after she felt immense guilt when her father, who’s also a music composer, fell into a coma due to stress), Mafuyu Asahina (the lyrics writer and vocal mixer who originally contacted Kanade after one of her songs made her feel something, thus make music to try and see if she can still feel since she can’t due to her intense depression for constantly wearing the “perfect daughter” mask), Ena Shinonome (the artist who’s strive to be a pro artist out of spite after her own father, who’s a famous artist, told her that she doesn’t have the talent to be one and shouldn’t try and be one, but she struggles with getting validation for her art which is the only thing she has), Mizuki Akiyama (the editor/animator who cares deeply for the group and even considered them all their friends, but they are scared to tell any of them about their secret due to fear of being ostracized due to them being outcasted in school)

Their goal? Well, technically is to keep making music to save people, but in actuality it’s mostly them actually improving their mental health and help them with their issues/problems lol~

And the Main Story is all about the formation of all of these groups! With the expectation being N25, since they were already a group in the beginning of the main story, but their story is about maintaining the group after Mafuyu disappeared mysteriously for days.

However, that isn’t where the story ends! Oh noooo! Far from it! Within the game there are these Event Stories that continues the story of all the group after the Main Story!

These Event stories usually focused on one particular character at a time, but overall expands and continues the story/arc of all the characters! :3c

Thus there’s a lottttt of story content within Project Sekai! In fact, not even I have read all of them yet! @v@;

But from what I read, I’m really really loving it! Like! Sure the pacing be a slow burn, but the moments that the story be building up to is sooooo worth it!!! And like all the characters be having depth~

Oh! Also alsooo!

What I really love about the story is that the some of the characters have relationships/friendships outside of their unit group! Like An and Haruka were middle school friends who like to have contest in random things on who’s the best, and that knew each other since elementary school! Another example would be how Mizuki and Rui were also middle school friends that bonded over being both outcast.

There’s also siblings within the main cast with different dynamics! Like the Hinomori’s (Shizuku and Shiho), the Shinonome’s (Ena and Akito), and the Tenma’s (Tsukasa and Saki)!

And like the characters later get introduced and meet other characters later on in the stories! Like how Shizuku and Airi meets Mizuki for the first time through Ena (Ena and Airi are friends since middle school), and how An and Shiho became friends after bonding over their love and passion for music and how they value their friends/group so much!

Conclusion

Basically… Project Sekai is my current hyperfixations and I’m loving it! *w*

Of course I would still need to read all of the story since I’m no where nearrrr caught up! @v@;

But like, I’m having a blast so far! :Dc

Nicole was getting bigger every day, and with December finally on the corner, Beatrice had to buy more clothes for their now six months old baby. And Nicole, ever since she started talking, was much more active than she thought she’d ever be, all the more alert too.

“Thanks for joining me,Ev.” she says as she holds up a tiny shirt in front of her eyes, “With Roos working and Shells asleep I didn’t want to be here alone.”

Evelyn just smiles as she leans over the edge of the shopping cart, “It’s no problem, you were with me when I chose mine.” she explained, grinning down at Nicole who just stared back with her big eyes, “She’s so cute,Bea.”

“She is.” Beatrice says proudly, “Sometimes I can’t believe she’s mine and Rooster’s. We created this adorable little being.” as if on cue Nicole gurgles a laugh, shaking her monkey toy so its tinkle echoed all over the aisle they were currently at, “Anyway, how are you feeling though? It’s been…two months now,right?”

Evelyn looks down at her stomach, just a tiny bump that protruded against the lycra pants, “Everything is fine, ultrasounds have been doing great. Jake is…excited, he already told his mom and his sister and we decided we don’t wanna find the gender out. Unless we accidentally do, but everything is fine.”

“That’s good Ev!” Beatrice grins, “Are you coming to Marcus’ launch party next week?”

“You bet I am.” Evelyn chuckles, following Beatrice as she picked more clothes to plop in the cart, “Marcus is very excited about it, you did a wonderful job.”

Beatrice was still nervous when getting compliments about her art but she accepted it with a smile and a light red blush. She was just nervous about what others would think about it, which she shouldn’t, she should just accept she did a good job and Marcus liked it, “Thank you. I hope the photoshoot was good too.”

“Are you kidding? You know you are Marcus’ favorite.” cue to another blush, “And he didn’t want to show anyone them yet because he wanted to see Rooster’s reaction firsthand.”

“Oh?”

‘He finds you two absolutely adorable, he told me.” Evelyn smiles, no malice or contempt in her voice when she says so, “You two are the modern love story everyone should go for. Honestly.”

Beatrice’s blush darkens because she does feel like she and Rooster were a modern love story like that. Sometimes it feels too unreal and it was crazy how happy she was with him - well, maybe not that crazy.

“You know…ever since I started dating Rooster my life just…changed.” she murmurs, looking at the tiny shoes she had in her hands, “I…I am so happy at the Hard Deck but I also can work with Marcus because Penny is an amazing boss…and I got married, and I had a baby and–”

“You never thought you’d have that.’

“No.” Bea admits sheepishly, “But I’m reminding myself I’m worthy of good things and I’m worthy of Rooster. I’m worthy of his love and his presence.”

“And I’m sure he feels the same way.”

Beatrice just grins more, partially covering her face with her hands because she still felt so giddy talking about him. It was such a magical feeling, like the fairy tales she read when she was child, she had her very own prince and treasure, “He does, he makes sure to let me know every time.” she giggles, placing the outfits inside the cart, “Do you feel like having lunch? I can pay for all this and we can figure something else to do later.”

Evelyn agrees and they go for the cashier, Beatrice removing Nicole from the cart and holding her close to her chest as she placed everything on the counter. It doesn’t take too long for them to leave the store, thanking the ladies inside and marching to the food court, chatting amongst themselves.

Beatrice however does a double take when she notices a new store with dark purples and blues and a large sign on top. The sign had hands hovering above a crystal ball, the words ‘The Crystal Hut’ were below the figures, “Huh, that’s new,right?”

“Wha?” Evelyn turns towards the shop as well, “Huh, it is,I’ve never seen it before.” she takes a look on the shelves that weren’t hidden by the dark curtains on the storefront, “Nice candles, maybe we can take a look after?”

“Yeah, sure,I don’t see why not.” Beatrice wonders if her aunt knew about this shop, it really seemed like something she’d love to visit one day. She gives the store one final look before the two walk away towards the food court, furrowing her brows because something about that store made her wonder why she had never seen it before.

Okay, it was new, but the mall wasn’t the type to have these sort of esoteric shops hanging around.

She blinked a bit, then shrugged, choosing to ignore that for now.

“I’m going to send Roos a message, what do you wanna eat,Ev?”

“Uh…I don’t know, probably some burgers.” her friend muttered, “With bacon fries. A lot of bacon fries.”

Ah,the urges were starting early. Beatrice suggested a random fast food restaurant as she pulled out her phone, smiling when Nicole tapped the screen the second she saw Rooster’s picture, “Yes,honey,it’s daddy. It is daddy.”

‘Dada!”

“Hmhm,it’s dada!”

Nicole vocalizes more, giggling when her mother moves the cell phone around her and Nicole tries her hardest to grab it just so she could see her father again, “Come on, help me text daddy,” she moves the phone closer, her daughter stares for a second so Beatrice has to gently press her small finger on the screen so a letter showed up.

Nicole gasps, now extremely excited about it and ready to see more of what this strange thing had in store.

Beatrice just allowed her daughter to keysmash for a few seconds, biting her lip to hold back her smile as she noticed that Nicole found emojis and was now sending Rooster the prettiest ones she could.

Beatrice waited with her smile still present. Rooster’s bubble appeared, then disappeared, then appeared again a few times and she was sure her husband was having a hard time understanding what was going on.

Beatrice giggled alongside Nicole who was just amused by her mother’s face, babbling happily before she brought the phone to her lips for text to speech.

Oh,Roos.I’m sorry! That was just Nikki discovering the wonders of technology yes honey I’m talking to daddy right now. We are just sending you a message to say we love you a lot and miss you.How’s your day going? Good?

Roos (12:20)

Oh my god, that’s so precious. Holy shit she’s so smart. And my day is doing well, mentally preparing for the…classes I’ll join Mav in a few. But I’m fine.Are you two having fun?

Bea (12:21)

Absolutely. Nikki is a great companion and Evelyn is enjoying herself too. I bought new clothes for Nikki and she’s been having a blast. And I’m glad you are okay! :) You’ll do great,babe!

She was still smiling when she put the phone in her bag and then placed the bag between her legs. Beatrice did a little shimmy out of pure elation before she took a bite of her fries, looking up only to see Evelyn’s knowing smirk,”You two are so gross.” her friend chuckles, “It’s adorable.”

“Well,” Beatrice swallows and then adjusts Nikki in her arm, “He does that to me…plus you and Jake are pretty cute too.”

Of course the level of PDA Evelyn and Jake shared was anything but alike to what Bea and Rooster had, Jake still liked touching Evelyn and loved to have her close by but he was a lot…calmer than her husband was. And honestly, it worked for her friend,” So, when is the wedding again?” Beatrice asks, “February?”

“That’s the plan, we want Jake’s whole family to come and both sides of mine want to be here, we’d need time to schedule everything because it’s a lot of people.” Evelyn explains, sipping her Sprite, “It’s not like your wedding, we wouldn’t need to rent a stadium in any case, but it’s a lot of people.”

Beatrice just smiles sweetly at her friend, “Well,I know it’ll be amazing. Anything planned for our bachelorette party?”

“I want to stay home,” Evelyn begins, gesturing to Beatrice with a nugget, “I want to sleep and I want to eat red velvet cake. That’s all I want. There’s not a lot i want to do now that I have a little bean inside of me.” she explains, “Plus, you know I prefer to chill than party most of the time, your wedding was the only time I actually had fun.”

“Well,I’m really happy to know that.” Nicole’s ‘mama’ only made Beatrice lift the soda cup to her lips when the little baby tried to grab the straw, “I know it’ll be amazing. And…how’s your dad now? Is he okay with you and Jake?”

“He was already better then but…I think now he finally gets it.” she smiles a bit, an almost thankful shadow passing over her face, “I…I’m just happy he’ll walk me down the aisle, that’s all…and my grandpa will be there too, so yeah.”

“I’m really happy for you Ev.”

Evelyn smiles more, wiping her fingers on her napkin and then sighing, “I feel at peace.” she murmured, “And now we just have to wait when will Shells and Bob tie the knot.”

“I don’t think they will so soon.”

“Oh please, really?”

“We know how Shells is.” Bea shrugs, “She’d much rather enjoy what they have now than to-” she curls and relaxes her fingers “ ‘settle down to boredom’. Even if Bob is anything but boring to her.” her daughter tries to grab her soda again and Beatrice just kisses the top of her head and laughs, “I think it’ll take a while still.”

“Hm,maybe.”

“How’s the baby treating you though?”

“Honestly?” Bea nods, “I’ve been having cravings. I ate a whole bag of banana chips in one sitting and I sprayed whipped cream in my mouth at three in the morning…isn’t it too early to have cravings?”

Beatrice shrugs, “I had mine before I even knew I was pregnant with Nicole.” she says,the little girl in question muttering a ‘mama’ that neared annoyance because she kept being moved around in her mother’s lap, only stopping when Beatrice shook the rubber monkey on her face, making the little girl immediately grab and chomp on it, “You remember.”

“Yeah, you stopped drinking.” Evelyn recalls, “And you started hating sushi.”

“A mistake I’ll never forgive myself for.”

Both women shared a laugh and Evelyn lowered her eyes to her stomach, “...I don’t mind, Jake doesn’t mind either…but besides that I’m not having nausea or anything, not yet at least.”

Beatrice was happy to see that Evelyn was coming to terms with her newfound pregnancy, in fact she sounded way happier than she was a few months back. It was just the shock taking over, Beatrice thought.

After their lunch, which was really good and Nikki even had some fresh peach puree while her mother ate that less than healthy but clearly delicious lunch, they went back to the esoteric store. Thankfully the incense smell was less intense than any other store the two been to before, it wasn’t nauseating and it wasn’t irritating Nikki so that was good enough.

A young woman, with long hair to her waist and a dress that resembles something Stevie Nicks would wear, smiled at them, “Hello, welcome,welcome. Do you know what you are looking for?” Evelyn opens her mouth to answer, only for the woman to smile, “You, you like candles…cinnamon and…jasmine. We just got new arrivals this week.”

Evelyn didn’t look amused, nor impressed,”You just saw me looking through the glass…but you are right I do like those.” 

“And you,” the woman turns to Bea, “You…lavender, but you don’t like candles. You prefer oils and lotions and soaps. And you enjoy chamomile too, because it relaxes you.”

While she could understand Evelyn, Beatrice didn’t approach the storefront to check what was inside, she just blinked owlishly at the woman while holding a curious Nikki in her arms, “W-Well,um…y-yeah.”

“And cotton flower.” the woman grins at Nicole, “For your baby.”

Nicole vocalized something while her mother just stared, dumbfounded as the woman spoke to her, Beatrice’s jaw falling open because how did she– maybe she flicked her eyes around quickly and the woman noticed what she was looking at? It had to be, ‘Um…I-I think I’m okay.” she laughs nervously, hugging Nicole closer to herself, “I’m just here with my friend.”

“Ah,of course.” but the woman’s mysterious smile hadn’t changed, in fact her eyes moved to Evelyn, “Congratulations on your pregnancy, it’ll be a very healthy baby.” Evelyn’s tossed ‘thank you’ meant she wasn’t really paying attention, too busy checking the scented candles. Beatrice squirmed a bit, chewing her lower lip as she tried to appear busy, but the woman had other plans, “My name is Opal.” she said with the same grin.

“Um…I’m Beatrice, that’s Evelyn and this is Nicole.”

“Hm…yes, a B showed up in my mind.”

Oh God it’s like talking to her aunt.

“And…your husband, he’s a B too,no?” Beatrice furrowed her brows because how did she know about Brad? “Yes…meant to happen.”

“I’m sorry?”

Opal smiles more, “You two,” she says, “Were meant to happen. Your souls are connected, locked,” she locks her own fingers for emphasis, “You were meant to find one another, always and in every life.” 

Well, that her aunt told her about, in fact she was…always talking about it when she first met Brad. “...that’s…really nice, thank you.”

“You are welcome…now, would you like anything?” Beatrice looks around a bit, then she locks eyes with a specific aftershave lotion that looked really,really nice and perfect for Brad, “Yeah, actually.” she smiles, cheeks flushing, “I think I’ll take something, yes.”

NEXT GEN DINOBOTS!

I’ve finally got around to making Dinobots sparkling Ocs, and after several redesigns I’m really happy with these!

They do exist in my lost light au btw! When Tailgate and Cyclonus experimented with making Gale without an hotspot. So Grimlock Asked(more like demand) Brainstorm to somehow find a way to make more dinobots without a hotspot as well as without having a partner.

So Brainstorm after watching some of swerve’s earth movies got the bright idea to create an Dinobot from an egg somehow, with the help of Grimlocks dna of course. AND IT WORKED! (Sorta) Bam was created then after few hundred years later so was Spittake and so forth.

Bam The Brontosaurus : Bam is the eldest at 400+ years old! (In my au Sparklings age like normal humans then after age 18 their body starts aging like a normal cybertonian) she is very kind and patient with her siblings and can come across very motherly. She often helps Grimlock “tame” the kids when things go south.

Though Bam is a Dinobot she doesn’t talk in 3rd person like Grimlock most of the time. This is probably due to the fact that she grew up around other cybertonians like her good friend Gale. She is also very smart as well, some tease she should be Queen of the Dinos some day!

Spittake The Dilophosaurus: He is the second oldest at age 12, and he honestly lives up to his name. He’s definitely a kind of shit disturber and hates when things are to “peaceful” in the Habsuite. Most of the chaotic things happening on the ship are usually caused by him, especially when he creates his artwork on the walls of the ship.

Spittake is able to use the colorful tar that constantly comes from his body and use it to create art! Though pretty on the surface, if it leaks into your optics or any kind of pores it can create very strong hallucinations. Victims of this have been Magnus, Grimlock, trailcutter and Prowl. All on accident of course!

Spittake may seem like a troublesome mech king but he’s actually a sweetheart who would do anything for his friends and family! He’s mostly seen make arts and crafts with Gala and Ten.

Hit The Raptor: she is the second youngest at 4 years old, The only way I can describe Hit perfectly is that she’s kind of a mix between Amy rose from sonic and Angelica from rugrats if that makes any sense? She definitely bratty and usually gets what she wants most of the time. She’s also a huge daddy’s girl, so whenever Spittake or some bots mean to her she’ll always run to Grimlock.

Hits a girly girl despite her tomboyish behavior sometimes. Her favorite color is pink and she always wants to play dress up with someone. Also Gala is her best friend so don’t be mean to her either unless you wanna see her true wrath.

Crash The Spinosaurus: crash is the youngest at 3 years old, there is much to say about him yet but that he feels more comfortable in his alt form instead. All of the next Gen dinobots stayed in their alt forms as Sparklings but Crash is taking a bit more time than usual.

He’s a very energetic and happy sparkling, even though he can’t say full words. He has a bad habit with biting things and bots occasionally, but it’s just his form of teething. Also he likes Gala…a lot! ;)

Hi Raven! Lemme start out saying that I love your posts, they are really thought out and informative, especially with matters going on in the community. You don’t have to answer this if you're busy,but I have a question. I wanna start a Twist blog, well kinda. I wanna start posting some of my works, and kinda make a blog on my Twist OC, but I don't know where to start. If you have any tips or tricks, that would be helpful l, but if you don't have a direct answer to this, that's fine too anything will help. And another question is, how do you get over to fear of people not liking your works or even OC? I've seen quite a bit of hate in this Fandom, and idk if my sensitive heart can take it. 😅 It's kinda the reason why I've never posted at all. Thanks again.

Hello there ^^ I’m happy that you enjoy my blog and that you find my posts informative!

For general advice on starting and maintaining a writing blog, please see this post. I’m going to use the rest of this response to speak at length about the second question posed by the asker: “how do you get over the fear of people not liking your works or even OC?”

First, let’s get something out of the way: humans are inherently social creatures; therefore, it is in our nature to desire positive attention/approval and to be afraid of rejection and ostracism. There is no shame in wanting validation. It’s a built-in survival mechanism leftover from the past—because when humans band together, they are more likely to thrive. However, I also think that in the modern world, it’s easy to get carried away and care too much about what others will think of you. This is so true in the age of social media, where likes, shares, and even follows and views are quantifiable and thus can be used as a point of comparison to others on the same platform. It’s also easier than ever to connect with others, which can be both a boon (meeting people you otherwise could have never met) and a detriment (internet hate).

Now, as simple as it would be for me to say, “create for yourself rather than seek the approval of others”, that advice doesn’t actually do much for anyone. It's easy to talk the talk, but it's much harder to walk the walk. It’s all about mindset, because in actuality, a very small number of people out of the overall fandom will care about your works enough to actively hate on an individual. The mind seemingly magnifies the number because humans are hardwired to pay more attention to the negative experiences over the positive ones (which, again, is another survival instinct; you pay attention to the bad things to avoid them or to resolve the issues). There goes the saying, “we’re our own worst critics”, and it’s very true here. It’s not just negativity from others you must deal with, but self/doubt snd your own mind perpetuating the belief that the negativity is much worse than it actually is. Of course, there are actual serious cases of hate (harassment, stalking, threats, doxxing, racism, etc), but here I am only referring to general cases of other people “not liking what you make” or saying mean things (such as “you’re a bad writer”).

So how does one improve their mindset? Truth be told, it doesn’t happen overnight. In fact, learning to not care what others think of you is a difficult and lengthy process. It will take time and effort to reach a comfortable state of acceptance (and yes, I’m talking years long here)—but it is possible to grow out of that fixation.

Here are some truths you have to accept if you want to overcome your worries:

In putting your work “out there” in a public space, you will naturally invite feedback, both good and bad. An integral part of creating is, of course, wanting to share one’s creations with others. However, it’s unrealistic to think that you won’t ever get negative feedback or critique. It isn’t always constructive or helpful to you, but you must brace for them to come your way all the same. If you think about it, getting nothing but praise isn’t good either because then it traps you in a cycle of thinking you’re perfect and there’s nothing you need to improve on. It becomes an echo chamber and it can lead to stagnation because you’re already satisfied with your current state instead of thinking about how you can grow. Mixed feedback is important for personal growth.

There may not necessarily be a problem with your content, it could be a matter of differences in circumstances or tastes. You must remember that lack of engagement is not always equivalent to hate. Indifference or not even coming into contact with a post is NOT the same as actively going to post a negative comment or ask. That being said, lack of engagement could be the result of a website’s algorithm working against your favor. Alternatively, it could be that you aren’t hitting a target audience. Like, if you write angst, it may not appeal to a certain subsection of fans. These are factors largely outside of your control, and trying to gain that control would be a fruitless effort.

There’s nothing wrong with blocking, especially if things escalate. I know that on sites like Twitter and Tiktok, blocking people is seen as “taboo” or some kind of hateful social statement when… it’s not. Blocking is a means of curating your space so you can have fun online without worrying about others raining on your parade. If people are giving you a hard time, nothing is stopping you from blocking them (which can be done even with anonymous asks). Don’t give people that send “hate” attention by responding and showing just how upset their comments made you, it only encourages them to continue once they’ve seen how much it affects you.

One instance of “hate” is not representative of the entire fandom’s feelings. This circles back to what I said before; the negative and toxic people in this fandom is actually minuscule when compared to the total number of fans in this space. Instead of letting the few rotten apples define the entire bushel, think about all the positive experiences you’ve had!

You can’t please everyone. As much as you try to, it won’t happen. But you know what is much more feasible of a goal? Pleasing yourself. You know what you like best, and if you’re able to make what makes you happy then you have a 100% chance of satisfying at least one person.

If you feel frustrated, it’s fine!! It’s normal to feel this way when you think a work you shared isn’t getting the kind of exposure you want it to (whether it’s little exposure or negative exposure). We want to feel like our energy and time was put into something worthwhile. Just don’t take it too hard because these things are bound to happen. Not everything you make will be a hit, and your audience may not always be receptive to what you put out.

If you create mainly or solely for the approval of others, you won’t be happy with yourself. Ask yourself why you want to create in the first place. Most likely it’s because you’re passionate about TWST and/or you just wanted to have fun. But when this shifts to a focus on pleasing others, is it really fun anymore? If you’re always chasing trends (which are very transient) or thinking about how you should change your work to have greater mass appeal, is it really “you”, or are you just being what you think people want you to be? It just results in never being satisfied, because you’re aiming for the impossibility of making everyone happy. When you weigh your worth based on others’ perception of you or on engagement, you run the risk of burnout and losing joy in creating.

You’ll have to embrace cringe. When I say “cringe”, I mean it in the sense that you should be comfortable being your authentic self even if you fear people won’t like it. Again, you cannot please everyone—but surely there will be people who will accept you and like you for who you are. Some will vibe with you, some won’t, and that’s a fact.

You won’t be perfect at keeping out negativity from others, and that’s okay. What matters is how you address those instances when they arise. It’s not productive to let negative thoughts stew or hold you back from creating what you want. Instead of letting the thoughts fester, try to redirect your energy to something else.

Additionally, here are some suggestions on what you can do to alleviate your doubts. These methods work for me, but I’m not going to claim they work for everyone; I figured I’d just throw the ideas out there in case they’d be helpful to others.

Isolate yourself from social media for a period of time until you're in a better headspace.

An alternative to social media isolation is looking at other people's creations (but ignoring the numbers, as that can be a basis for comparison)! It may inspire you to make something of your own. For example, sometimes I've been scrolling and I'd see someone's OC in their own outfit for an event like Fairy Gala, and that made me excited to do the same for my own characters.

Another alternative to social media isolation is looking at the positives! Think about the number of people who have supported you or left nice comments and how they outweigh the Negative Nancies. (This is an example of using the numbers to your advantage!) I know of some friends who use a special tag on their blogs to denote "feel good" asks so they can reference these to cheer up when they're feeling discouraged or down.

Rather than comparing yourself to others, compare yourself to... yourself! Treat it like a New Year's resolution: you're looking back at where you started and think considering how you've changed since then.

Do something else you love to get your attention away from your creative endeavors. This could be another hobby or spending time with friends or family.

Speaking of friends and family, talk to them! Let them know how you're feeling and why you're feeling this way. They can offer you support and advice. I find that this is especially helpful when you are able to speak with other content creators, who may be able to empathize with your experiences.

Practice mindfulness and gratitude. Instead of thinking about what you don't have, think about what you do have and be appreciative of it. This helps shift the center away from things out of your control (ie other people) and to something that is within your control (ie yourself).

Minimize taking things personally. This can be especially hard in cases of OCs because creators tend to put a lot of themselves into their OCs (particularly if they are self inserts or Yuusonas)—so when others say they don't like an OC, it can feel like an indirect way of saying "I don't like you, the creator". But rarely is this the intended meaning of a comment. When people say they don't like something, it doesn't always mean they also dislike the creator. Remember that at the end of the day, we're all internet strangers that don't know each other on a deeply personal level (so why should you hinge your self-worth on such a thing?). You can be close with your works and OCs, but don't necessarily think of the works/OCs as a 1:1 extension of yourself. When you think of it like that, it helps to detach yourself from negativity that a work may receive.

Think about what you’re good at and focus on that niche. In this way, you will be able to make what you want while also attracting an audience that also appreciates this niche over time.

Make something for yourself, no posting necessary! Sometimes it can help you air out your feelings if you make a piece (art, writing, etc.) for no one but yourself to see. It’s surprisingly very therapeutic.

With all of that being said, I’d like to close off this post by saying that conquering the fear of others negatively judging your works is something that all creators have to go through. We're at various stages in this process, and we will continue to have our moments of weakness. This is a completely normal thing (though it is perhaps not commonly discussed out in the open) and it should be normalized. Even I go through periods of self-doubt and find myself holding off on posting certain pieces (especially anything that is OC-related) because I overthink how they may be perceived. I know that most of my audience is here for the canon TWST characters, so I worry that posting OC content is self-indulgent, maybe even selfish if I'm feeling particularly mean toward myself on a given day. It's negative self-talk like this that can be detrimental to creators and their enjoyment of their craft; that's why it's important to identify these moments and try to figure out ways to overcome them, even if it's just taking little baby steps. Some progress is better than no progress!

What are your honest thoughts on the book kids? Both vk and ak?

i’m gonna be so honest with you it’s been a while since i reread the books. (what’s kinda adjacent is that i wish the books, the movies and the animated stuff was more cohesive with each other but i understand that they never planned on it being such a big franchise)

let me cut it here bc it got so long, i was very into it

i most vividly remember the first one, the prequel, and i dont think we see any kids that aren't in the movies, other than mentions. though i think Audrey in it is great, like her brittle handle on being the Perfect Auradon Princess and her huge desire to just sweep all unseemly things under the rug and like almost forceful insistence that everything is fine and great and all that exists is the softness and beauty in Auradon, down to her ignoring animals that aren't cute, ones that dont coo and cuddle. but when Ben pushes her she's intense and angry and almost scary.

the second book, return to the isle of the lost, introduces fun vks and mainly just name drops some aks:

i really like Mad Maddy, i like the thought that she and Mal were besties as kids, as close as sisters, twins even. and the fact that something happened between them that made Mal dye her hair, which she still does all these years later. i also think it's fun that her and Evie immediately dislike each other upon meeting. and i like that she's never 'redeemed', she's bitter and angry and scheming. and not bitter like Uma is, who wants more and better for herself and others, but deep in 'evil over everything' bitter, she leans into it and wants worse for everyone else.

Anthony Tremaine is so cunty. like i know we never get a visual of him but i know he was serving. he was comitted to his noble aesthetic and his bored drawl. i also liked that in the books there were a lot of cousins, i think it could be fun to have like a gang of them with maybe other nobles from their country (though obvi they wouldn't refer to themselves as a gang, they're too self-important and 'above it all'). i don't remember him doing anything super important other than supporting Maddy, which makes me think he's like a passive guy re: Isle situation, just choosing whatever he thinks is going to benefit him (and by extension, Tremaines) the most. in my fics, he and the Tremaines usually are adjacent Mal's gang through Dizzy's connection to Evie, just as like gratitude for watching out for her.

Ginny Gothel is great too, i don't know why i don't use her more, i really should. she was kinda friendly with Mal in the first book, not like they run together but more like they don't really have anything against each other and in social situations they talk and drink together. i love that she stole stuff from Maleficent's apartment it's fun. she very much gives me narcissit's daughter, who internilises it all and tries to imitate her mother. i think she would probably be very competetive, especially with Evie (overall, i think they have a potential for an interesting dynamic... a lot can be said but i don't wanna get too sidetracked, send me an ask if it's interesting to u)

Yzla doesn't do much except attend the Anti-Heroes club which i took as a green light to pretty much create my oc. i still think it's kinda dumb for Yzma to have a kid but eh whatever. i think Yzma wouldn't be a stereotypically bad mother, i think she's more like neglectful in a bad mood and "my kid and i are friends, im cool" in a good mood. anyway, when i do Yzla, they're nonbinary and androgynous, and a little manic, really smart, good at engineering and chemistry, so usually i make them a part of the gang and Carlos's assistant.

genuinely don't care for Hadie. like, i think the name is stupid, i think that he's Mal's half brother is stupid (since they never do anything about it), but i think there's potential to this character.

Diego de Vil is my babygirl. i have like a whole character inside my head for him because i think the potential of Carlos having a cool older cousin is just so great. if you go to my bad apples tag, you'll see more, but i created a whole band for him (and a twin!). he has a devil may care attitude and cares for Carlos but doesn't know how to express it at all.

now for the ones i don't have much to say about: Claudine Frollo has so so much potential and i've read really cool fics with her and the religious trauma she would obviously have. Harry and Jace should probably have a cool dynamic with Carlos, what with being forced to work for the de Vil family but i honestly forget they exist a lot of the time. Big Murph is friendly and helpful that is all i have to say about him (but it's interesting that he doesn't follow Uma). Eddie Balthazar and Hermie Bing just seem like they're there to fill spaces, but i'd love if someone fleshed them out. Gaston twins, i've seen good characterisation of them as following their father's footsteps and i think they are like if himbos were evil.

for the AKs of this book:

Pin, eh, not much to say except the name's dumb. Artie is a baby, but seems hot-headed in that heroic way. Herkie (again, dumb name) should have beef with Mal. Gordon is a little jealous, but i think he opens up a possibility of like messy family drama between the kids of the dwarves lol. i don't even wanna discuss Tiger Peony because i wish they didn't touch the indigenous characters because of the implications it has in-universe and they didn't do much with her anyway.

okay, now onto the rise of the isle of the lost:

whew, i love that this is focused on uma. i know i personally don't talk about her a lot since i'm mostly absorbed with the rotten four, but i love her and the pirates dearly.

(re: the Hook sisters, i don't have strong opinions on them, just thathc that's canon to me, they're all from different mothers)

Jonas is one of the people who has a confirmed appearence and the same actor was in the rotten to the core sequence, so i choose to believe it's the same guy. in my head, he used to be a vendor at the market, bored and tired of having to protect his stand, which is why he eagerly joins Uma.

i don't remember much of the personalities of other crew members, if they were given any, but i've read great Uma-centric stuff that fleshed them out greatly and really made me care about them.

for the aks, this is the first time we meet Lonnie's older brother. i don't wanna even type out the hate crime of a name they gave him. but overall, i think it's funny that Lonnie's a little sister, explains why she want to rebel and is always in everyone's business lol. for him personally, afaik he's not that much older than the main cast and i think the fact that him and Jay are friends so fun.

for Arabella, it's never revealed who her parents are but if we base it on the live action, i'd say her mum is Perla, she's said to be charismatic and diplomatic, her kingdom values the arts, which are qualities i think we can see in Arabella. i think it has interesting implications that she can go between land and sea as she wishes, especially if we take into account that magic is practically forbidden. is she an exception? also this is the second time an ak causes a uhhh hardship? in their desperation. Jane in d1, to change herself to fit into the judgemental social world of Auradon nobility, and Arabella here to prove that she's capabel of leading. she's said to be obsessed with Evie's style and overall a huge fashion lover, which i think probably makes people call her vapid, vain, ditzy, etc and why she wants to prove herself so badly. honestly, i don't see her a lot and i don't think i've ever written her into any of my fics but she offers a good window into what it's like to be a royal.

i thiiink this is also where Aziz is mentioned again? but genuinely all i take for him from canon is just his name. i love him and Jordan (Laila's version): they're practically siblings, they're a little too carefree, Aziz is leading the sassy man apocalypse and Jordan takes every opportunity to humble him (lovingly), they're kind of party animals though media just calls them socialites lol

Back in July I made like *checks notes* ELEVEN OCS in the span of like 3-4 weeks.

I’m only talking about one of them tho, and his name is Kai.

For extra content I’m gonna also briefly go over Gaea, the world Kai and the rest of my OCs reside in. K so it’s basically your average fantasy world; people can learn and cast the element spells of their choice, fantasy species live amongst humans and everyone’s basically chill with that, techonology’s futuristic in a good way, etc. Y’know, all that cool stuff

(It’s basically a mix of TOH, RWBY, and BNHA if you think long enough)

I basically said all that because Kai’s a hybrid (a human with animal abilities and body parts)

Hybrids are pretty common in Gaea. I even have 3 other hybrid OCs that I might as well briefly mention:

Kumiho • Has non-binary swag, likes cartoons, would probably fistfight God if given the chance. Guess what animal hybrid they are (they’re a kumiho hybrid. or a kitsune if you don’t know that kumiho are the korean equivalent of kitsunes)

Edan • Obsessed with cryptid and mythological creatures, would pick a fight with anyone that shit-talks his girl/boyfriend (Edan’s Bi and his s/o is androgynous. He respects him/her to the fullest). He’s a Pheonix Hybrid.

Marcus • Epic gamer with aviator aesthetics. He’s also really traumatized (no srsly, don’t get me started on all the trauma he and his boyfriend Liam went through). He’s a Cardinal Hybrid/Avian

Anyways where was I?… Oh yea!

Kai’s specifically a Dolphin Hybrid! When I first designed him, I coloured his dolphin features to look similar to the usual dolphins you see when you search them up; the typical grey dolphin colour you’d see in media.

BUT, when picking out ‘n deciding my OCs’ nationalities, I made Kai’s nationality Brazilian since,

1 • Dolphins do live in the Amazon River

2 • Part of the Amazon River’s in Brazil

3 • I like to search up where the original species of my OCs originate from to make their places of origins into their nationality.

4 • I also try my best to make my OCs have varying Nationalities and skin-tones

As an extra example for that 3rd point, I have a selkie OC that has an Irish nationality. This is because selkie myths originate from both Scotland and Ireland!

I basically mentioned all of this because Amazon River dolphins look like this:

I wasn’t really upset when I found this out half an hour ago, I like dolphins! They’re naturally friendly & curious, and this colour looks pretty cool on them :D

There’s actually a myth or two relating to Amazon River Dolphins, but it involves [REDACTED] and I don’t feel like mentioning that on my blog ._.

Apparently these types of dolphins are born with a grey colour, and slowly turn pink as they age. They can actually become any and all shades of pink! It doesn’t matter how hot or grey the pink might be!

Kai’s technically in his mid to late teens (It’s been a year and a half and I still haven’t set my OCs’ ages in stone-) so he isn’t fully pink yet, but small parts of his dolphin features fade into a pinkish-grey

TL;DR I learn a lot about myths, animals, and other stuff when I create my OCs, Kai’s a good example of this, and I think it’s fun to learn about this kind of stuff! :D

Don't worry about this song being from Chicken Run. I am like, the least judgemental person when it comes to soundtracks and music because the things that seem the most absurd can have the best of music. Heck, I listen to the Ducktales and Animaniacs soundtracks a very not normal amount- Also the Trolls soundtrack is so fucking good?? Honestly, musicals. In general. (Ducktales isn't a musical but y'know, good music in general, and the Darkwing Duck theme song is one of my favorite songs ever?? And every time Dewey sings I cry with joy but that's because it's Ben Schwartz and I absolutely love his voice). I AM SORRY I GOT TO CARRIED AWAY- I- I used to have a very heavy hyperfixation on Ducktales I am sorry.

And I haven't watched Chicken Run, by the way, but Paloma Faith is a great singer and this song is just SO beautiful??
