But Daddy I Love Him!: A Disney Princess Legacy Challenge

I didn't really like any version of the Disney Princess Legacy so I decided to do one myself! I tried not to repeat traits, skills... But sometimes I couldn't figure out, sorry! I also included a color scheme based on the princess. You have to complete the aspiration, career and max the skills, unless stated otherwise. I also included some extra goals!

It's not playtested, so I might make changes as I play. I have an edited lifespan that makes Young Adulthood and Adulthood a little bit longer, but Teenagehood and Childhood shorter. My guess is that you could finish the challenge in normal lifespan, but you also can do it in long or with a custom lifespan, or even turn aging off if you want to! Whatever you want to do!

Also, I had to be quite... Creative in some of the princess descriptions, because their personalities are very similar.

Also, there's not really any general rules. Your heir can be any gender you want (Everyone can be a princess!), if you want to cheat, cheat, if you wanna change something, change it!

Logan and Rogue got together to reminisce about the good times they had spent with their pets on the day off they had had after a long time. Logan began by telling about his first dog, a black-haired Labrador named Brutus who was a faithful companion for many years in his childhood, whenever he was sick, the dog would lie at his feet. There were other pets at home as well, such as cats, rabbits and even some exotic birds.

Logan had had a long list of pets throughout his life. He also couldn't forget the cat named Patches, nor the white angora rabbit named Ollie. As a child, Logan used to spend hours with them in the backyard throwing them food and playing with them while waiting for his father to return.

“My first dog, Brutus, was just amazing. He was always by my side when I was sick or sad. His loyalty was unwavering," Logan said.

When Logan finished his story, Rogue took her turn to share her memories.

Then Rogue began to talk about her little canary named Max that she had and her turtle that she sometimes took for walks in the park, she didn't have many pets as a child, and after her powers came along, she was afraid to harm them even if she didn't do it on purpose.

Amid nostalgia, Logan and Rogue smiled as they reminisced about the good times they had spent with their beloved pets. Although they felt a certain sadness in remembering them, they knew that their memories would always be with them. knowing that even though their pets were not physically present, the love they felt for them would never disappear. Together, they continued to recall more anecdotes and laugh as the afternoon wore on.

Logan and Rogue continued to reminisce about their pets, laughing and sharing stories. It was a much-needed break from their busy lives and they both felt grateful for the time they had spent together. As the day came to an end, Logan and Rogue said their goodbyes and promised to do it again soon. They both knew that their pets had brought them together and that the memories they shared would always hold a special place in their hearts.

“It was a good time, weren't they, Rogue? "

“Yes, Logan, it was... it was. "

“And that's not the best part. You see, all those pets, extraordinary as they were, were just the beginning of my lifelong journey with animals. There's so much more to tell, but, that's a story for another time," Logan said with a mysterious smile.

Rogue's eyes widened. She wanted to know more, to dive into Logan's fascinating world of pets and wonder. The day may have come to an end, but the story had left her wanting more.

“I can't wait to hear more, Logan. Let's plan another day to meet and continue sharing our pet stories," Rogue smiled after speaking.

“Of course, Rogue. I have many more stories to tell. Until then, take care and treasure your pet memories," Logan replied as he nodded.

And they said goodbye, knowing that their love for animals would always bind them together. Rogue left feeling inspired and excited for the next time they would meet to share more stories.

When was the last time you cried?: uhhhh I know it was some time this month or last... my memory is really bad lately T_T

our lease isn't up for another six months but hitting the halfway mark and feeling like it's only been abt 2 months since we moved in is really stressing me tf out bc idk what my next arrangement is going to beeeee and i only have 6 months to figure it OUT which with my time management skills might as well be a week and a half 😭 my roommates are trying to make it back to nyc asap and even though when we first moved in they were like "we wanna take you with us when we go back!!!" they decided that would be a bad idea bc the pets aren't peacefully cohabitating like they imagined i guess ? so my options are find a place in nyc with roommates that are okay with a rambunctious but harmless dog (everyone i know has cats so this is unlikely ig) do the same thing but in chicago bc it would be cheaper (but then i would have to keep my car and learn how to drive there which i think would probably end in my untimely death) or find a place of my own here in indy where i would have exactly zero (0) friends. or move back in to my childhood bedroom which is now a guest room. like whaaaaaat the fuck am i supposed to even do LMAO

Yes, sorta, my government name (not Bee) is a combination of my great-grandma who I shared a birthday with and a friend of my mom.

2. When was the last time you cried?

I think it was the other night when I saw a tiktok about a dogs POV when they enter doggie heaven 🥹 but before that it would’ve been in September 2022

3. Do you have kids?

Nope.

4. Do you use sarcasm a lot?

It’s part of my everyday vernacular.

5. What’s the first thing you notice about people?

this is so weird but eyebrows 😂 I used to get bullied because of how bushy and full mine were as a kid (which is ironic because beauty trends nowadays are for bold brows) so for some reason I tend to look at someone’s eyebrows whenever I first meet them.

6. What’s your eye color?

some days light brown, other days green, but for the most part a combo of both….so hazel.

7. Scary movies or happy ending?

it’s funny cause I love reading romance books, but hate rom-com movies. I can’t explain it but when it comes to dystopian/fantasy series I want a happy ending for my characters, it I do love a scary movie or an ambitious ending that fucks with my head.

8. Any special talents?

My biggest flex in life is being able to write a damn good paper for school. Listen y’all have seen my creative writing on this blog, but let me tell you when it comes to academic, I will forever brag that I can spit out some knowledge. I’m in grad school and last semester I got A’s on all my Case Studies and big papers and have never been so proud of myself.

Year 2022 - 2023

This 2 years for me, had some of the most tragic events in my life. Let's start with 2022, it all starts with my body which always collapse and after that first collapse. I have been always sick, like I was sick more frequently, maybe not everytime but you know that it became more frequent. My old strong body is now gone due to this, as a little heavy load of doing things can cause me to collapse, and it's a tragic for me since it stops me for doing some things. And while this happens to me, my cat is suffering from blood cancer, more specifically Leukaemia. Everyday I'm the one who feeds him his maintenance, and it is quite tiring as he is always resisting once he sees the syringe that I am holding. And I need to do it with 4-7 medicines everyday, I do it in the morning, afternoon and dinner, sometimes I need to do it even on dawn. I really love my cat that's why even if it's quite tiring, I don't give up as his life depended on me. But even after all that hard work and battles my cat fought, he died after almost 1 year of finding out that he has Leukaemia. But before my cat died, my childhood pets also died with 2 days gap with each other. Let's start with my older cat, he's the reason why my family loves cats now as he is the one who softened and open the heart of my family to pets. We are all shocked when suddenly we see him being so weaked, that's why even it's in middle of the night where all the vets are close, we rush him to emergency vet clinic. While I'm carrying him to his carrier, he looked at me and then meowed. After a few seconds he died in my arms.

While I am mourning with my childhood cat who is gone, after 2 days my childhood dog also died suddenly, they said it's because of old age as we have the same age. This year, we have a bird called Martie, I'm the one who takes care of it. I'm with him when he was still a baby so it considered me as its mom. I trained him to fly around and then comeback when I call it even we're out in the house. When I sing or there's music, it dances with me and sing. When suddenly, one afternoon while I'm watching my grandma, I checked on my bird to found it dead. It's so sudden that I collapsed. Now after a few months, my dachshund gave birth to five puppies which I'm the one who also takes care. One by one, each of them died and it makes my dog depressed that she doesn't wanna eat, drink or do anything at all. As this was happening, I decided that I should go to the vet with her and do a check up so I know what can i do for her. But sadly even after all the medications and everything, she really missed her puppies so she followed them on the paradise.

Now onto the year 2023, one day suddenly there's a news about my auntie, which I called Nanay Perla, she was there even when I was a child, a part of my fashion sense and humor comes from her. Now, the news that I found out is that she only has few months left to live, I was really shocked and devastated, I didn't believe it as she was a strong person. But sadly after a few months of fighting and being always back and forth, from hospital to house, house to hospital, she died. Now, this one is just recently. It happened this month. When my another childhood cat died due to old age and after a few days our another oldest dog which is also the most big one died suddenly. They said it's also because of old age, after all this events I'm doubting myself if I'm doing it right, it left me a traumatic experience.

ooooo y’all still want these?? ok well I’m gonna say then that not everyone should have a pet, especially not the two main ones in North America (dogs and cats). I know it’s not as bad maybe as it used to be, there are a lot of systems some ppl/shelters/breeders put in place to weed out the creeps. But to me I feel like there’s almost this bizarre, disturbing right ppl feel to go out and get a pet. It’s almost this right of passage, or sign of maturity, or thing you do cause that’s just what you do. Ya know?? Sure, everyone is a beginner at first, and you have to grow with your pet and work at understanding them for their species but also as an individual animal with traits particular to them. But I’ve seen ppl with their pets or just talk about their pets that just set off soooo many alarm bells, and I’m like bro why do you even have one?? You’ve chosen to bring another life into your home and take care or it. Don’t dick around with that. They didn’t choose this life, you chose it for them. They’re a domesticated animal. The best life they can have is up to you. So don’t go into any pet ownership assuming you know everything. Research the fuck out of stuff, even if you’ve had that type of pet before, grown up with them, etc. Just cause having a pet is popular or could maybe make you feel better doesn’t mean you should do it. (I know support/service animals are different. That’s not what I’m talking about.) Idk I just see a lot of questionable shit that’s passed off as not a big deal and I get worried that just because some pets are mainstream or pets that everyone had in childhood it means you don’t have to work at learning to live with them. "Put a pan on with olive oil and butter will you love" you pulled out a chopping board and got to work butterflying the chicken breast "yes chef!"

You stuffed the chicken breast and basil and wrapped it back up in the prosciutto keeping it sealed together. "is the pan warm?" you asked, eating a handful of grated cheddar in the meantime and he nodded holding his hands over the pan for heat "OW okay rude" he pulled his hand off when freckles of oil jumped up and burned his hands. "Silly" you put the chicken in the pan and you jumped at the sizzling whirling behind hawks who folded his wings around you "it's okay baby don't worry" he said going full protection mode.

You served the meal and garnished it with basil and cheese skipping back to bed to eat the meal together. You spent all of your life at the orphanage as long as you can remember, with all of the other 32 children and 5 caretakers. You always love animals, you don’t have one but the orphanage that you lived on had a few cats and dogs. Cause you cannot socialize much with every person in the orphanage, you spend your day by playing with a few dogs and cats.

Today, there’s no many customers coming to your store. You can’t blame them, some of the companies just release a pet-bot product, everything seems to be done by robots in this era.

“y/n you’re daydreaming again” your friend Haechan waves his hands in front of your face.

“ok, now have you checked on the order from our website?” you laugh and switch the position of haechan’s laptop to you, scrolling all of the name that you’ve already checked 3 times today with him.

“You know what, this thing kinda seems useless for me, the people who order from our website were like the same person who came to our shop but they were too lazy to get their asses up” Haechan laid his back on the counter, closing his eyes. a gesture of him that means he was tired. Haechan was your childhood friend, you guys know each other on the Orphanage with your other friend Jeno who seems like we're on the back of the shop checking out the animals we had. The three of you had agreed to build a pet shop together, you and haechan’s job was in front of the shop talking to the customer meanwhile jeno was the doctor, he took care of the practical thing.

five minutes later, jeno rushed up to the two of you with an angry look. He stops in front of you and slams the newspaper that he got this morning, making you and Haechan throw some weird looks and then peeking at the news that made Jeno so mad. The headline said “The scientist from LiU Corp released a statement: Every place that contains animals in confinement should register their name and address, we run out of space”. You look at Haechan who gives you a ‘i don't know’ look and then move to Jeno who is still looking furious with this news. You knew you guys needed to register your shop as well but you don’t think that was a big deal, you guys can take some of the animals that LiU Corp had, cause breeding animals in this era need a permission from the government so you guys don't really have that many animals in the shop.

Jeno looked at you two, expecting some reaction but all he got was a confused look from both of you. Jeno slid his hair back and exhaled hardly, like it was the bad bad news he had in every year he worked here. “You guys remember that they offered me a job 2 years ago?” “Yes, and you stupidly refuse to work at the biggest company in this district” Haechan sneer, he’s playing with his hand, doesn't really want to pay attention to anything his friend is about to say. “I didn't say the reason why I did that to you two cause I thought you guys don't have to know it” said jeno, he took a deep breath and said, “they were having an experiment, and they will use it to fight the 2nd district product on the market.” “What do you mean, why would the LiU want to compete with the 2nd district with a bunch of animals?” You keep reading the newspaper which doesn't include much information about things that jeno said to you. “They were making hybrids, inside that company..” jeno said in a low voice

A few days after that conversation, a bunch of boxes came to your shop. There’s no information about anything inside it and they really covered everything until it arrived. Haechan who noticed the box earlier today calls the rest of you, and then decides to close the shop for today. “I don’t know about this, I think we should turn it back to LiU Corp. I think they might be joking” Haechan observing the boxes up and down with an irritated face. “We should look at it first” Jeno moved forward and tried to open the box. It's actually not hard to open, cause after a few knocking the box opened itself and revealed a very terrified looking lion-hybrid.

You, Jeno, and Haechan share a look and then decide to introduce yourself to the male hybrid after a few nods. Jeno goes first, he gives the boy a little smile and then rushes to open the other box. Haechan was next he kneel in front of the cage and smile softly making you surprised by the sudden action, well you’ve seen the soft side of haechan but he rarely shows it to the others. Lastly it was you, you stepped forward, and then kneeling copying haechan’s moves who seemed to be taking a liking to the boy in front of you. “Hi, my name is y/n nice to meet you”

it’s been a week since the hybrid from LiU Corp came to your shop. You, Jeno and Haechan decide to build a few comfy rooms for the hybrid to spend their time in the shop, the three of you think it’s too cruel to just leave them in the cage for an animal. You opened the shop as usual, Haechan said he will come late for today and he said he still has more classes meanwhile Jeno will be here in 1 hour. So you decide that you’ll be doing some cleaning at the animal’s area, cause you didn’t really remember the last time you cleaned those areas. Jeno was in charge of the animal here, some of the animals here are still kinda aggressive so he doesn’t really like it if you and haechan are playing around near the cage. So you decide to just clean the hall, you don’t wanna get in trouble with Jeno who seems to be getting better from his anger toward LiU Corp.

You understand why Jeno is so mad towards them,

“I mean they still had our genes, like living in a cage? that’s bad..very bad”, you swept the floor while thinking to yourself, like how lucky you are even though you can’t even remember who your parents are. “I don’t know you like to talk to yourself like that” said someone’s in the back you turn around to find Jeno walking towards you with someone in his back, oh he was one of the hybrid’s they’ve got from LiU back then. “You know you should let me know you were here, instead of scaring me like that” you said rising you eyebrow “Actually, Mark saw you coming here by yourself and what did I say about coming here? rules are rules you know i made that so you won’t get hurt. You know every pet shop in this district doesn't only taking care of dogs and cats, what if you somehow running into a bear cage i don’t want you to be his meal” Jeno said with concern in his eyes “I'm just cleaning the hall Jeno, and please I can take care of myself” you said pointing the floor you just swept earlier. “And wait what his name is Mark?”

Jeno laughs at your question, he pushes the lion-hybrid boy to your direction, “of course, he needs some names, right? we can't call him without a name and since i gave him his name he would be Mark Lee”. The boy in front of you gives you a shy smile and then goes to jeno’s back, well he’s that type of shy guy you think. “Seriously? why would you come up with that” you laugh finding the Lee thing is funny. “Well, as long as Mark’s fine with that, and he said it’s ok” Jeno said with a proud smile.

“Now can you both get out of here, I need to work” Jeno said, pushing Mark to you once more gently and pointing the way out. You shrug and lead Mark to the exit door, he doesn’t say anything to you just following you from behind. “Hey Mark, i see you close to Jeno” you said teasingly, the boy blush and let out a little giggle while staring at the floor “Jeno is nice to us, he often checks on me and the others” he said with a low voice, it was actually the first time you actually talked to him, cause some of the hybrids usually stay in their room, or keep so much distance from you.
