i haint watched the dang chibisode and idk if ill actually watch it with sound on sdfjk but i have a hurt feeling about them casually imbuing perry with speech for a one off gag because the idea that he needs to talk to communicate is fake. we had 4 seasons of wacky magic hijinks cartoon where perry never needed verbal speech to communicate. they couldve done this gag at any point in the show but they didn't, and the fact that they didn't felt significant. perry's muteness is such a core part of his character, to me, to the way i conceive of him/write him. i don't wanna overreact to a goofy little side cartoon (even tho i'm doing it anyway) but it's still the characters, and it still upsets me! ok that's it i've said my piece

rereading the hunger games series for the umpteenth time and one thing i always lament them omitting from or changing for the movies was those little details that show you just how fucked up the capital is. things like making the mutts look like the dead tributes, to the point where you wonder if they used actual pieces of them. things like them making those same mutts slowly munch on cato, dragging out his death for hours just for the sake of drama. it took so long for him to die that katniss actually feels bad and shoots him out of mercy.

seriously though i think aabria’s style is my favorite of the Holy TrinityTM of dms. i love all three of them, i am avid fans of cr and d20 and love brennan and matt’s styles too, but aabria’s is just so human and eye catching? she involves her players so heavily that her inclusion extends to the audience, if that makes sense. her energy is so casual it’s like i’m part of the game while still preserving that tense urgency necessary to the action.

Without any spoilers, all I'm going to say is... dang. I went from not liking her outward personality in the plot's first act to instantly coming close to tears in the third one. She deserves a long vacation, and I didn't realize how much she grew on me, let alone overtake the favorite archon spot over Venti- and that says something in my book. Besides, I love her design a whole bunch! Her Ousia design is my favorite between the two!
