I made homemade dough and homemade picadillo so I could make pastelillos like my grandma used to make. They were delicious 😋 😍 Sometimes, when I don't feel like making dough, I use egg roll wrappers. They are a great and easy substitute for homemade dough. I love pastelillos. When I was a kid, my grandma would make large quantities of them, and I'd eat 10-15 at a time. My grandma loved to feed people so my voracious appetite made her very, very happy 😊 If Mother Teresa came over for dinner and only ate a little bit, my grandma wouldn't like her vey much because she no eat very, very good, but if Charles Manson came over and had thirds, she'd say that this boy might be a little crazy but i like him because he eats very, very good. If you ate well, my grandma would love you. Thankfully, I ate very, very well. I love my grandma. I miss her, but when I cook her food the way she used to cook it, I feel close to her. It's like she's standing right next to me. It's a wonderful feeling. 💜💜💜

Is it hard dating that isn’t chronically ill? I am another chronically ill person and I’m scared to date someone that isn’t chronically ill because they won’t understand my pain and make me feel bad about it (I’ve had a lot of trauma with it in the past). Just wondering if it’s possible to do and how you and your partner navigate it?

honestly, yes it’s so hard, but only in the sense that i constantly feel like im holding her back or disappointing her. it’s so hard being sick all the time and not knowing when or if im going to be well enough to take her on an actual date or all the other things that my illnesses get in the way of, but she’s the first person i’ve ever known to never ever validate that guilt by making me feel bad for things out of my control.

she always lets me know i don’t have to apologize for bailing last minute or spending our only weekend together sick and in bed asleep for half the time because she knows it’s not something i’ve chosen. i’m so used to people making me feel like im just being lazy and choosing to not participate in things and am purposefully letting people down, especially in romantic relationships with non-chronically ill people, so i totally get the fear and it’s so valid. if you ever wanna talk more in depth my dms are always always open, i hope this made sense

In the story, Who Made me a Princess, Ijekiel Alpheus has his potential as a great character diminished by the way he was not only handled by the author, but those around him and the story. He is someone who has complicated relations with his family, who have only ever seen him as another tool in the family to achieve greatness and therefore uses his intelligence to bury himself in books to drown out that loneliness. Even if his father loved him, and says it later on in the story, it is never actively shown— and if anything, it is assumed that his father abandoned him after his mother died. He had his future decided the moment he was born and he had no control over his own life and that is why he fell so fast for Athanasia. Despite all his high walls and barriers, because she was something unachievable and, like her name, impossible for his father and himself to imagine. If he was given the chance to develop as a character rather than being a secondary love interest, they could've shown his complexities and— if anything, his quite gray morality. As he has shown that he will harm himself and others to get to his own satisfactory conclusion (as specifically shown in his standoff against Athanasius) as well as his more rivalry and forbidden relationship with Athanasia. Tallis doesn't cite her source for this claim, but presumably it's the report of Hannaert to Charles V...

However, the same report gets much else substantially, sensationistically wrong, so, barring any other corroboration, some skepticism of this claim is due:
