u wanna know something i don’t understand

the fia is asking drivers to swear less on the radio. do u know how much interaction there is between driver and engineer during a race? SO MUCH. and barely any of it gets played publicly, because they can in fact pick and choose what gets played publicly. therefore, if you don’t want kids to hear the drivers say cuss words then just don’t play those radios. drivers are human beings and in the heat of the moment they are gonna say fuck, just like everyone else in quite simply every other job ever.

It was literally from nowhere, when they posted about the festival location, their (venue's) own website had already done it;

A theory was that some solos told him they were leaking/sharing leaks of some unreleased songs which also not true, it was an anon account on twitter, I saw with my own eyes;

Also some said he was "against" they having the option of "superfan" which is like a paid subscription for special info - nothing different than people on instagram these days or paid newsletters;

Everything they posted for superfans was on everyone's general tl in seconds and they never said anything against it;

They did weekly listening parties; special events, created games, interactions, charity drives on their bdays, lots of giveaways too, they had partnership with apps, institutions, other UAs, campaigned heavily for audience voting awards, ect;

They had around 500k followers by then, more than any other Louis UA and only behind harryflorals on ig for Harry, so blocking your biggest UA has to be dumb as fuck for an artist who talks so much about love and gratefulness for his fans, they never did anything so horrible to justify blocking;

They didn't announced right away and I imagine were trying to figure out what to do and what had happened, they asked if people would prefer for them to become a solo H account (since according to the world, Louis hated them), majority asked them to keep updating about Louis;

There are old stupid arguments that oh they update more on H or oh they only talk about L, but it's all solo bs! They can't update equally on both when one is in the middle of promo and the other is mia???

The block, photo of Louis "with F" at a playground/park and the infamous message to Bentleys weird mom all happened in a span of few weeks;

AFTER THE BLOCK, Louis' and BMG team used HLD explicitly on FITF promo. LTHQ liked a comment under THEIR post to hint at the hidden track names, they (bmg) literally posted a vid showing the marketing campaign where their page was open (same campaign that glaringly also engaged with several LARRIE Tumblr blogs), hypocrisy much?

There are Louis UAs that encouraged people to interact and "be nice" to mf Sofie after ONE pap shoot, always creating het dating scenarios for him, asked people to donate money for a f-ing aotv billboard that HIS TEAM should be responsible for, guilt-tripped fans daily for his streams, are extremely weird about his family, insult 1D, Harry and even the fact that Louis does covers on his own concerts and yet these don't seem to be reasons good enough for a block;

The only thing that comes to mind is during Lost Days when he goes and kills the head of a child traffickering ring and it’s noted he got the kids somewhere safe. Maybe Generation Outlaws? That’s the only instance in which he’s directly supporting kids (albeit Villains in the making but kids none the less) I know of. But for everything else like sex workers or community support, I can’t think any off the top of my head, someone with more knowledge/read more of Jay might have better instances

to the best of my knowledge there are two canonical instances where jason mentions children — both pre-flashpoint, and both written by judd winick. like u said the first is lost days, where he rescues a group of children from a trafficker and hands them over the law enforcement. the second is his “don’t sell to children” speech, which personally ranks with those anti drug commercials from the 80s and 90s. he does also say he’s taking cuts from other revenue (mentioning prostitution) but there’s like….. nothing about protecting people or restorative community work or anything

tbc i am not an avid jason reader by any means (esp post 2011) but it does really annoy me when people try to start arguments about jason where they insist that his violent actions are justified because of the other things he does, which may or may not exist and range from being the saviour of crime alley to single-handedly supporting rehabilitation services in gotham. it’s very confusing. like, bruce is the one doing those things in canon. that’s a very, very important part of his character, something that puts him in opposition to jason. obvsly it’s easier to like a guy who’s beloved by children in theory but lbr in a fight a kid is gonna pick batman over a drug lord with a silly hat

okay so- i grew up in a small town. the kind of town where everyone knows everyone, us kids would run around and wreak havoc until the street lights came on, and if you got bored of that as a teen you would just aimlessly drive around.

moved to the biggest city in my province for university and a job opportunity a few years ago.

the one city thing i’ve noticed that i will never, ever understand, is the penchant for fireworks?

like it can be the most random ass tuesday night and there will be some knucklehead setting off a shitload of fireworks. why?? what are you doing??? i truly don’t understand. to me, fireworks are reserved solely for very big celebrations. we only ever had them for canada day and new years growing up.
