Ok I JUST finished persona 5 so here's all my thoughts and ramblings because I NEED to put this somewhere (none of my friends have played the game and I'm going insane) (I also currently don't have any persona 5 moots so you know......)
Major spoilers (obviously)
I despise Kamoshida. They did a REALLY fucking good job of making him hateable. Like for me personally, all the other palace-owners aren't nearly as detestable as Kamoshida is. I feel like it's because we see Kamoshida's actions directly hurting people in a way that no other palace-owner is shown, if that makes sense. Like Madarame's actions do hurt Yusuke very directly but it's just not the same vibes. I really absolutely hate Kamoshida and I'm glad he got justice.
I love the original group of four. I do like all the characters that come after them and join the group, but those four have a special place in my heart. They're iconic.
I love Ann's story during the first palace and I feel terrible for her BUT it grosses me out how the creators continue to sexualize her (and other female characters) for laughs throughout the game. Like why the fuck did they think any of those scenes were they have to wear extremely minimal clothing was necessary. It's so fucking weird. You can't just write a character who's plot point is that she's forced into uncomfortable sexual situations, and then force her into uncomfortable sexual situations for a joke. It's not only not funny, it's fucking disgusting.
Speaking of which, can Ryuji and Morgana stop making weird comments or suggesting weird ideas? I get it's supposed to be funny, but it's just uncomfortable.
Yusuke is the gayest man I've ever seen good god.
I want to date men in the game, Atlus, come on. Stop being homophobic, let me date a man. Let me date Ryuji please
I love Futuba. She's like my younger sister and I would kill for her. Which made me really fucking grossed out when the romance started happening. Like what the fuck was that huh. I'm sorry, you can't just have Ren (I think that's he's name) and Futuba have a siblings relationship like the entire game (not to mention their basically step-siblings), and then all of a sudden turn it romantic.
Speaking of which, it's kinda weird that you can date your teacher and doctor (and the other adults). Like not shaming anyone for picking those options cause the doctors hot as hell, but why would a teacher think it's ok to date their student or a doctor date their underage client. There's nothing wrong with choosing them to date, especially if you (the player) are an adult, but it's still weird that like four different adult women want to date you.
I've seen this said before, but the middle palaces are kinda boring. The story pacing falls off after Madarame's palace. Again, I love Futuba, but Kaneshiro's, Futuba's, and Okumura's palaces feel like there's much less at stake, especially Kaneshiro's. Not that I disliked the game at those points, but compared to the rest of the game, it's not as exciting.
The Nijima palace was my favorite. Oh my god, it was so interesting and well developed. The music was also FIRE. I liked going around and collecting chips to continue on to the next level, and I liked seeing a shadow that wasn't directly hostile towards the group. It was such an interesting concept. I also just love Sae as a character, I like that she's not directly evil and she has good intentions, she just got kinda lost at some point. I think that's a nice change of pace from the other palaces.
Ren and Akechi have the most romantic tension in the entire series. Like kiss already, jesus fucking christ.
I like all the phantom thieves except Haru. She feels so out of place. This isn't like an attack on her character or anything, but the issues with her Okumura Foods stock or whatever it was felt so... weird. Like I get she's in a tough situation, but she's also like a millionaire, so no matter what she decides, she would be set for life probably. I don't know, it just feels wrong to me
I cried when Akechi died :( I know he's technically a bad guy but come on. He deserved better. I want to bring him back from the dead and give him a hug. Have him and the other phantom thieves live a happy life being besties or whatever.
The ending felt weird. It was so much monologuing. I don't even know exactly what I didn't like about the ending, I just didn't like it. I also didn't play royal, I just played the original, so that might have changed it. I know that apparently I was supposed to talk to the wardens throughout the game and I just... didn't. Oops.
This is such a small thing but I hated the music for Shido's palace. It made me go insane and not in a good way.
I cried when I thought Ryuji died. And then I got mad when the cast beat him up for some reason???? Literally why did they do that????
I realized I didn't talk about Makoto at all but I love her. She's amazing. She can do no wrong idc
Ok final thoughts: I actually really liked the game. It's far from a perfect game but I generally enjoyed it. I'm glad I sat down and played it (for 100 fucking hours). Anyway, this is all just my opinions, I'm not bothered or anything if you don't agree with something I said. If you want to leave a comment either agreeing or disagreeing, I'd appreciate it as long as you're not a dick about it

Some Logan fans should prob stay far away from me cause of my interpretation of the character. I take what's shown quite literally.
Tumblr media
I love this slightly socially awkward man who prefers to stick with talking about his one l hobby. (Even Mi-an has expanded more than him.)
He's such an action first, ask questions later guy that it feels like a miracle he's alive or hasn't caused more damage than he did. Haru earned that tuition from watching over dumbass here.
He can't cook for shit so if you romance him and can't cook, you two are setting the kitchen on fire one day. [Burning the food at Haru's goodbye and failing to remake his Pa's monster gut stew.]
He's such a giant dog when you romance him, he's trying his hardest to understand things and do better. I want to pet him and hear him make embarrassed noises over it.
The horns on his hat are to make him more intimidating. More intimidating to who? It plus that chair in the hideout gives me such theater show vibes. I'd clap for the funny yakboy if I hadn't spend the last 15 minutes having bombs blow up in my face constantly.
Honestly, all of his compliment personality responces are hilarious. And he is completely adorable in general. That whole tough guy thing is such a cover up for this soft man who just happens to really like violence. Good for him.
He's a stinky boi.
He's transgender to me. [When I saw his reverse confession I was dying at the sight of him shirtless cause his chest looks bigger to me than without a shirt so I went "he's binding!" and never let go of the joke. He just also happens to fit my ususal trans MO too.]
[Me barrelling straight into the real thing I want to ramble about like the crazy man I am. Be warned.]
With that said, I want to write a crack-esc fic of Pen/Ruber(Builder)/Logan once I've finished my long series cause I have so many stupid ideas for one.
A "5 times + 1" kind (never written one, sounds fun) of Logan accidentally interrupting Pen and Ruber's dates. He can't really tell, considering the activities aren't date to 'normal people'.
Like beating the shit out of monsters for fun. Logan prob assumes they're getting materials for the workshop and, being a slightly attached bestie to the builder, wants to help out too. Or the two sparring away from town for privacy but Logan unfortunately finds them.
He gives such 'I'm the one who stops you two from killing each other despite also wanting to kill you' vibes if he caves into their affections. I love it.
Pen: “If he’s going to keep barging in on our date nights and you let him, can you at least invite him to one so it feels purposeful.”
Logan: “Wait, so you two were on dates when I got in the way? Why didn't you say anythin’?” Pen: “I wanted to, but Pretty Boy didn't let me.” Ruber: “'Thought it was funny.”
Ruber: “Hey Logan, we're gonna have some fun starting with sand painting, wanna join?” Logan: “Isn't that a date thing?” Ruber: “Yep, you coming or nah?” A confused and slightly flustered Logan stands there without an answer until Pen gets quickly bored and throws him over his shoulder. “You didn't say no. Get on the trolley.”
Let my man Ruber-Roseus be happy in one timeline, he deserves it for the shit I put him through. That and I just really like their vibes. It's unhealthy for everyone involved and they know it, but shrug and go along with it anyway. 'Three types of idiot try to function'.

IDOLiSH7 6th Anniversary Special Story: Full of Heart...
Chapter 2: Tearjerking Memories
Chapter 1 | Chapter 3 | Chapter 4 | Chapter 5 | Chapter 6
Torao Mido: Atchoo!
Toma Inumaru: Caught a cold, Tora?
Minami Natsume: Don't infect the rest of us, please.
Haruka Isumi: Maybe it's hay fever? Apparently that can get pretty bad in August.
Torao Mido: Or, someone's talking about me... A pretty woman, most likely.
Toma Inumaru: Sure, whatever.
Shiro Utsugi: I must say, I'm impressed that you could reserve such an expensive-looking bar for us.
Torao Mido: It was no trouble at all. Besides, Haruka wanted to try going to a bar.
Haruka Isumi: He promised to take me here if I won in a game of Konpira Fune Fune. And I did.
Minami Natsume: Hee hee... Oh, Isumi-san. I didn't know you had what it takes to become a geisha.
Toma Inumaru: Don't teach Haru anything weird, now.
Shiro Utsugi: Since we're at such a fine establisment, we should make the most of it.
[Snap]
Shiro Utsugi: I'll have a Bloody Mary.
Toma Inumaru: You're going to drink? I thought we had a meeting...
Shiro Utsugi: This is a bar. We're not here to see the sights. Now go on, Inumaru-san, order something.
Toma Inumaru: A-alright. Uh...
Shiro Utsugi: As artists, you should enjoy life to the fullest. Don't worry about breaking the rules every now and then.
Minami Natsume: Should you be breaking the rules, Utsugi-san? I believe you're still an ordinary employee of the very strict Tsukumo Productions...
Shiro Utsugi: It'll be fine. I'll just climb the corporate ladder until I'm in a position where I can change the company to suit me.
Haruka's Thoughts: This Shiro Utsugi guy is really aggressive...
Torao's Thoughts: He's supposed to be our newbie manager, yet he's the one pushing us around...
Minami's Thoughts: I'd expect nothing less of the man Ryo-san chose as his last minute replacement.
Toma's Thoughts: I don't think I've ever seen someone order a drink by snapping their fingers before...
Shiro Utsugi: Let's have a toast before we begin our meeting. Order something, everyone.
Toma Inumaru: I'll have beer.
Torao Mido: A gin rickey.
Minami Natsume: Oolong tea.
Haruka Isumi: Orange juice.
Shiro Utsugi: And there you have it. That'll be all.
Shiro Utsugi: Now, would you mind showing me your childhood pictures before our drinks arrive?
Minami Natsume: The pictures for our "Welcome to Kids Room" guest appearance?
Shiro Utsugi: Yes. Did you bring them?
Toma Inumaru: I've got mine, yeah.
Haruka Isumi: Me too. Show me yours first, though. I wanna see what you  looked like as kids.
Toma Inumaru: No way, that's too embarrassing. You go first, Haru. You probably look the most similar to when you were little, anyway.
Haruka Isumi: You think so? Okay, fine. Here you go.
Torao Mido: Let's see...
Minami Natsume: My, how adorable.
Toma Inumaru: Whooa! You were super cute! With a round face like that, I'll bet you were a little angel!
Haruka Isumi: Don't call my face round.
Shiro Utsugi: You were a textbook junior idol, if I've ever seen one. You'd have made a good duo with Mitsuki Izumi of IDOLiSH7.
Torao Mido: But that guy's my age.
Minami Natsume: ........ To think that Kujo-san whisked him overseas not long after this picture was taken...
Toma Inumaru: I'd have been so worried for him...
Minami Natsume: As would I.
Haruka Isumi: I came back safe and sound. Nothing bad happened to me either, other than a rude wake up call.
Haruka Isumi: If that hadn't happened to me, I wouldn't be the main vocalist of an outlaw group like ours now.
Haruka Isumi: Pretty cool, huh?
Toma Inumaru: Hey cool outlaw, your orange juice is here.
Haruka Isumi: Whoa! There's an orange slice on the glass! Wow, that's so neat!
Shiro Utsugi: Now, let's toast.
Toma Inumaru: Yeah!
Toma Inumaru: ŹOOĻ...
Minami, Haruka, Torao, & Shiro: Rules!
[Clink]
Minami Natsume: Am I the only one who finds this cheer somewhat... lacking?
Toma Inumaru: We might wanna rethink it, yeah.
Torao Mido: There's a lot of dinosaur stickers plastered all over your house, Haruka. What's this one called?
Haruka Isumi: Uh... That's Dee, the Growlysaurus...
Toma Inumaru: Ah, I remember those! You must've really liked Growlysauruses. Should I buy you one sometime?
Haruka Isumi: I-I don't need one, stupid! How old do you think I am?
Haruka Isumi: Give me my picture back. It's someone else's turn.
Torao Mido: I'll show you mine.
Toma Inumaru: Well?
Toma Inumaru: ...Your limbs were freaking LONG! This is basically just a tinier version of how you look now...
Minami Natsume: Oh my. I quite like the way you looked at this age.
Torao Mido: Yeah, I bet you do.
Minami Natsume: Is this a transformation belt?
Haruka Isumi: It is. I kinda wasn't expecting you to bring a photo like this.
Torao Mido: I learned something recently. Namely, that even a perfect man like me is more interesting with some mundane characteristics.
Haruka Isumi: I guess some kid who plays with transformation belts is a lot more approachable than a flawless celebrity.
Torao Mido: Exactly.
Toma Inumaru: You don't gotta make excuses, you know. The truth is that you just thought it was a nice photo, right?
Toma Inumaru: You said you like all this sentai and superhero stuff. For  what it’s worth, I think the pic's nice, too.
Torao Mido: ...That wasn't why I picked it, really.
Toma Inumaru: Yeah, right.
Torao Mido: It was a calculated decision.
Toma Inumaru: No need to play tough. It's fine that you chose a picture you liked from when you were little.
Torao Mido: I told you, that's not why.
Toma Inumaru: Ahaha! You're starting to sound a little too defensive.
Torao Mido: ........ Whatever. Maybe I'll just use a different picture.
Toma Inumaru: Oh, stop sulking, for Pete's sake!
Shiro Utsugi: Don't try to tear it up, now. I agree that you'll most likely garner more attention with a picture like this, Mido-san.
Torao Mido: I knew it. Okay, I'm going with this picture for the show. What about you, Minami? What kind of picture did you bring?
Minami Natsume: Mine isn't particularly interesting. Anyone can look up what I looked like as a child, after all.
Torao Mido: But you did bring a photo, right?
Minami Natsume: I did.
Shiro Utsugi: Would you be so kind as to show it to us?
Minami Natsume: Very well. Here it is.
Toma & Haruka: ...So cute!!!
Haruka Isumi: You were adorable as a kid, Minami! Like a girl or something! A really cute one!
Toma Inumaru: Kinda like Tora, you looked like a mini version of what you're like now, but in a different way! You've definitely got the air of a celebrity here!
Shiro Utsugi: This must be from around the time you were filming the movie Kagurazaka. Even as a child, you had very fine features.
Minami Natsume: Hee hee. Thank you. I do enjoy a bit of unfiltered praise every now and then.
Torao Mido: Was this taken at your home? That's a pretty big piano you've got.
Minami Natsume: Yes. I took piano lessons when I was younger.
Minami Natsume: I had to quit playing when my work got too busy to allow for it, but I finally resumed my lessons a few years ago...
Toma Inumaru: So you're basically a musical genius. That's cool.
Minami Natsume: Hee hee... Yes, it is cool. Now then, would you mind showing us your picture, Inumaru-san?
Toma Inumaru: Sure thing!
Haruka Isumi: What kind of photo did you pick?
Toma Inumaru: I figured at least one of us should bring in something goofy, so I got the funniest one I could find!
Torao Mido: Funny... Ah, you're at a festival, wearing a happi!
Shiro Utsugi: Oh, you've even got a sarashi wrapped around you. It looks very authentic.
Minami Natsume: You must've lived in a neighborhood that loved festivals.
Haruka Isumi: I'm jealous. I wish I could've worn clothes like this to a festival, too.
Toma Inumaru: I could take you to a festival around where I'm from. The neighborhood grannies would be all over you, Haru.
Haruka Isumi: Yeah, I wanna go! This picture's pretty nice. I bet it'll be good for the show.
[Phone rings]
Torao Mido: Hmm...? Oh, now that's unusual. Sogo says he needs to ask me something in person.
Toma Inumaru: Ask him where he is, and if he's nearby, go see him. It could be something urgent.
Torao Mido: But aren't we in the middle of a meeting?
Shiro Utsugi: We're all done now. You may go.
Toma Inumaru: Oh, that's it?
Haruka Isumi: We could've stayed at the agency if all we were gonna do is show our pictures...
Minami Natsume: Now, now. At least we got to deepen our friendship at this lovely bar.
Torao Mido: I asked Sogo. Turns out he and Tamaki Yotsuba both happened to be in the neighborhood, so they're headed here.
Haruka Isumi: Yotsuba's coming, too? I bet he's gonna freak out, because he's never been in a place like this before.
Haruka Isumi: I suppose I'll just have to teach him how us adults hang out.
Toma Inumaru: Says the boy sipping on orange juice.
[Door opens]
Tamaki Yotsuba: Good evening.
Sogo Osaka: Pardon our intrusion.
Haruka Isumi: Yotsuba!
Tamaki Yotsuba: Whoa... This place has a super mature vibe... I knew ŹOOĻ's up to no good.
Sogo Osaka: That's rude to the establishment, you know.
Tamaki Yotsuba: It's not my fault this place looks like people come here to make shady deals.
Sogo Osaka: It's calming. And there are plenty of places like this in the world.
Sogo Osaka: Good evening, Mido-san. ŹOOĻ. I'm sorry for dropping by on such short notice.
Shiro Utsugi: Good evening, Osaka-san and Yotsuba-san.
Sogo Osaka: Good evening. You're Utsugi-san, yes? ŹOOĻ's manager.
Shiro Utsugi: That’s right. Thank you for remembering.
Torao Mido: This has to be the first time you're asking me for anything. What do you want to drink?
Sogo Osaka: Just oolong tea, please.
Tamaki Yotsuba: I want this one! The frozen cocktail that looks like ice! I bet it's yummy.
Sogo Osaka: No, Tamaki-kun. It's alcoholic.
Tamaki Yotsuba: Really? Do they have a version without the booze?
Minami Natsume: I think the bartender could make you one.
Tamaki Yotsuba: Awesome! I'll have one of those.
Haruka Isumi: I want one, too.
Torao Mido: I'll have the alcoholic version. Should I go ahead and order you one too, Sogo?
Sogo Osaka: Ah... Um, alright.
Tamaki Yotsuba: So-chan!
Sogo Osaka: It's fine. This drink is basically just a sherbert, it won't get me drunk.
Tamaki Yotsuba: Don't you know that ice is just frozen water?
Sogo Osaka: I do know that.
Tamaki Yotsuba: So it's still booze! It's just been frozen!
Sogo Osaka: It can't be that strong. And besides, it's the same as yours.
Tamaki Yotsuba: So what if it's the same?
Sogo Osaka: Our matching drinks would make a nice picture for social media.
Tamaki Yotsuba: I can't believe your first approach to everything is still to be some kind of businessman.
Sogo Osaka: It's not as if people can tell how close we truly are based on a picture of some food. If that were the case, we wouldn't truly understand each other at all.
Tamaki Yotsuba: Especially since everything you eat is bright red.
Sogo Osaka: And you only have eyes for King Pudding.
Toma Inumaru: What're you mumbling about?
Sogo Osaka: It was just a mini meeting. We're done now.
Minami Natsume: Much like us, then.
Tamaki Yotsuba: I did it for you guys' sake too, y'know.
Torao Mido: Our drinks are here. Let's toast.
Haruka Isumi: Does MEZZO" have a cheer for when you toast?
Tamaki Yotsuba: A cheer?
Haruka Isumi: It makes things more exciting.
Tamaki Yotsuba: We've got a cheer for calming Re:vale down..?
Sogo Osaka: But it's a bit too long for making a toast. Hmm, a cheer for MEZZO"...
Toma Inumaru: Don't think too hard about it. It can be something simple, like one of you says "MEZZO"" and the other one says "rules".
Sogo Osaka: I see. We could give that a try. Tamaki-kun, which part do you want to say?
Tamaki Yotsuba: The first part.
Sogo Osaka: Alright. Well then, everyone raise your glasses...
Tamaki Yotsuba: MEZZO".
Sogo Osaka: Rules.
[Clink!]
Sogo Osaka: So, what I wanted to ask you is...
Torao Mido: Hold up! We need to talk about your cheer first. Any thoughts!?
Sogo Osaka: Thoughts..? Tamaki-kun, what do you think?
Tamaki Yotsuba: It's kinda short.
Haruka Isumi: Totally. So is our "ŹOOĻ Rules!"
Minami Natsume: Isumi-san. Be careful not to hurt Inumaru-san's feelings.
Toma Inumaru: Ahaha! It's fine! Not like that cheer was my best effort, anyway...
Sogo Osaka: Thank you for the suggestion, Toma. We probably can't use this cheer all the time, but we'll try to make use of it when we can...
Toma Inumaru: Don't sweat it, seriously! It was just the first thing that came to my mind! You don't even gotta use it!
Sogo Osaka: I-I'm sorry if we can't use it often enough.
Toma Inumaru: I'm telling you, it's FINE!
Sogo Osaka: Thank you. That's very nice of you to say. Mido-san, may I tell you why we're here now?
Torao Mido: Let's hear it.
Sogo Osaka: To tell you the truth...
- - - -
Torao Mido: Ah, Ito-san. That brokerage firm CEO who likes traveling and photography...
Sogo Osaka: Yes, him. He took a picture of me once.
Sogo Osaka: And when we discussed his camera, he told me that he saves all his negatives...
Torao Mido: So he should still have them? Just go meet up with him, then.
Sogo Osaka: We don't have that sort of relationship. He may be my father's old friend, but I've been disinherited, so...
Haruka Isumi: Disinherited?
Sogo Osaka: Being disinherited means your parents have cut ties with you.
Haruka Isumi: You were adopted..? And he said you were a disappointment and chased you out?
Sogo Osaka: No, we're biologically related. I might still be a disappointment... But I don't regret my decisions.
Sogo Osaka: I wanted to live as a musician.
Minami Natsume: What a wonderfully sympathetic story. I like you. The world needs more artists like yourself.
Sogo Osaka: Natsume-kun...
Minami Natsume: I hereby pledge my support to Osaka-san. Mido-san, you simply must do something to help him.
Torao Mido: Like what..? I haven't seen the guy in ages, either.
Toma Inumaru: You should still have an easier time getting a hold of him than Sogo. At least call him once.
Tamaki Yotsuba: Toracchi, please! If you call him, I'll stop calling you an evil rich guy!
Torao Mido: I didn't know you called me that in the first place... Fine. I'll give him a call.
Sogo Osaka: Thank you.
Torao Mido: It's no trouble at all, really. You may be an heir with a strict upbringing, but I'm a spoiled youngest son.
Haruka Isumi: So did this Ito-san spoil you, too?
Torao Mido: He owns a boat that I got to ride on a few times, not to mention he's got a few unique side ventures.
Sogo Osaka: Unique side ventures...
Torao Mido: He never told me about them in much detail. He may be a CEO, but he doesn't have any family to share his wealth with.
Torao Mido: So his side ventures have to do with finding said family... ...Ah, he picked up.
Torao Mido: Hellooo? Ah, Uncle Ito? It's been so long! Yeah, it's me, Torao.
Toma Inumaru: That's how I talk to the old ladies from my neighborhood!
Tamaki Yotsuba: He speaks just like Rikkun when he's asking for something!!!
Sogo Osaka: So this is what it's like when you're the youngest child... I wonder if even Iori-kun has a side like this...
Torao Mido: Ahaha. I'm doing fine, just fine. I've got a friend here who wants to talk to you, do you mind if I put him on?
Torao Mido: Here you go, Sogo.
Sogo Osaka: Thank you so much, Mido-san.
Torao Mido: Hmph. Let's just agree that you owe me one.
Haruka Isumi: I can't believe you're still trying to act tough, after sweet talking the guy like that...
Sogo Osaka: Ito-san. It's been a while. This is Sogo. ...Yes, that's right. Sogo Osaka.
Sogo Osaka: Ah... You bought an IDOLiSH7 CD? Thank you very much.
Tamaki Yotsuba: He knows us!
Minami Natsume: This bodes well.
Sogo Osaka: Is it at all possible for me to borrow certain old photo negatives from you..?
Sogo Osaka: I need the photo you took of me and my uncle in our garden. It's very important... Really!?
Tamaki Yotsuba: What'd he say!?
Sogo Osaka: He said he'd reprint the photo for me!
Haruka & Tamaki: Awesome!!!
Toma Inumaru: Yay! That's great!
Shiro Utsugi: Congratulations! Let's all have another toast!
Tamaki Yotsuba: MEZZO"...
Minami, Toma, Haruka, Torao, & Shiro: Rules!!!
Sogo Osaka: P-please, be quiet, everyone. Thank you, Ito-san. I'll come get the photo in a few days.
Sogo Osaka: Where are you now? ...What?
Sogo Osaka: The North Pacific..?
To be continued...

MY FAVORITE THING ABOUT HIM | High Speed!
Asahi:
I love his energy whatsoever, he was enthusiatic as a kid and fiery.
All the times they got him flustered were hilarious and cute
He always break the tension in purpose which is super refreshing
With stuff like “Now that I’ve wrapped that so nicely”
He doesn’t fear being the one ridiculed like, he do gets flustered, but he never stops being himself.
He is a cutie
He is always supporting everyone even if people end up mocking him or not taken seriously because he’s hyperactive, but he still supports everyone and often says what they need to hear.
Ikuya:
I admit that I don’t feel too strongly about Ikuya, he’s cute but I didn’t feel overwhelmed.
But oof, probably the way I related to him in DF made every minute on screen with him hurt particuarly hard.
I love how he has blooming when he lets go of his problems and becomes a smiley boy
I genuinely related to the whole isolating of everyone because it’s easier to not get hurt. But being lonely hurts him.
And I always like the 180 he does, from sad boyo to happy bab
He’s emotional scenes are really touching.
I like to see him finding his happy sparks
Natsuya:
As a big sister I related to him
He is very protective of Ikuya even if that means having Ikuya hating him
He is a good leader
He keeps a lot of people in control which I really admire.
And he knows how far to push with different people.
He always has good advice and will motivate them to be improve
Nao:
This one is simple, he always says the right thing
No one can disagree
He is very observant and very insightful
Every time he opens his mouth, it’s to say something important or useful.
He never says what someone what someone wants to hear, but what they NEED to hear
But even better, even when calling someone out on their bs or touch a sensitive nerve, he is super sweet and gentle about it.
He is lovely. Bless his soul.
Kisumi:
Oof, at first I didn’t like him. Like, he was just a fan service character.
He had nothing better to it besides being good looking. And that annoyed me.
But HS and especially in Dive to the Future he developed a lot and showed that he was actually very sweet and happy go lucky guy.
How he is annoying everyone is funny, because he is always mocking them and saying stuff that embarrasses everyone.
He always says things that hit too close to home for everyone else and is always on point. He’s a tease, which is funny.
But he weirdly helps, which I like that.
And he’s very social which I admire.
He is a smooth cookie.
Hiyori:
Oof, tough one, he was a very strong antagonist
The things he said were very hurtful which made me want to strangle him
But rewatching the season… Man, I can understand why he does what he does.
He’s not straight up limiting Ikuya’s support group as everyone says.
He is trying to keep Haru, Makoto and Asahi away from Ikuya. And… It kinda makes sense from his point of view.
To Hiyori hey are the team that abandoned Ikuya, they (unintentionally) caused him to have a mid-practice breakdown that incidentally sent him to the hospital.
Of course it makes sense that he’d want to keep THEM away from Ikuya. The HS!Relay team didn’t intend that to happen, and Ikuya doesn’t resent them personally. But Hiyori doesn’t have the full picture.
Hiyori put himself on the fire line against the 3 in an attempt to protect Ikuya, even if it was doing a number on his mental health, he kept it up if it meant keeping Ikuya safe.
He was wrong, because Ikuya needed to remeet his friends, to have more of his friends back as a reminder that he wasn’t alone, but he everything he did was try to keep Ikuya away from a potential harm. Which I respect.
I felt happy for him seeing him afterwards all relaxed and just vibing around Ikuya seeing them both alright and in good terms, because in the end they all wanted the same thing.
Protecting their friends.

The Unexpected Reward - Chapter 11
Summary:  Natsu and Lucy go on a job together, but what they bring home is something neither anticipated. Forced to make a life changing decision, they have to adapt quickly, but that's never easy, especially given the circumstances. As they work together on their toughest adventure yet, they find themselves drawn to one another, in ways they never realised. Nalu/cute/fluff/multi-chapter.
This chapter features mature content.
It'd been a very odd morning, Natsu had never imagined the day after his first sexual experience to be so turbulent. He pictured him and Lucy snuggling up in bed together taking it easy, not her running off and threatening to beat the ever loving crap out of one of their friends, regardless of whether they deserved it or not.
He'd not long made it to the guild when all hell had broke loose. He'd arrived just in time to watch Lucy tackle Cana to the floor, which, thankfully, hadn't ended with either seriously hurt. Lord knows how he'd gathered the courage to separate the two beasts, in the end he'd needed the assistance of not only Gray but Gajeel as well. The bedlam that had ensued was enough to put frighteners on even the great Titania, who luckily hadn't shown her face until after. Natsu cringed at the very thought of her getting involved, that would not have ended well for anyone.
It had been one hell of a clash between the two friends, all that could be heard echoing through the great hall was Cana's maniacal laughter and Lucy's hysterical shrieking. Natsu had to admit, even though he'd been the one to stop her, watching Lucy be a total badass as she elegantly switched between star dresses and the way she held her own was a sure fire way to get his blood pumping. Screw sexy lingerie and skimpy outfits, he'd take watching Lucy fight any day! Maybe he could even get her to use her star dresses in the bedroom? Now there was food for thought and it was making him drool.
Aside from Natsu's kinky thoughts, once he'd managed to pull her off of the card wielder, kicking and screaming he might add, he'd dragged her over to a secluded bench and sat her down, giving her time to take a few deep breaths. Master Makarov had appeared in the main hall not long after, probably to see what all the commotion was about. Sighing in relief to see the building still intact, he'd caught sight of the two mages he'd wanted to see and gestured for them to go with him, not wanting anyone else to follow.
And now here they were, sitting across from the Master who was currently speaking complete gibberish to the baby he'd insisted on holding. Natsu still didn't understand why people did that, it made them look insane! Aside from Lucy that is, she looked adorable when she did it. Haru, seated in the Master's lap, had taken a liking to the poor man's facial hair, tangling his chubby hands into it and tugging, making the old man wince from his strong grip. Even though it was obviously hurting, he couldn't bring himself to stop the chuckling baby, not when the little guy was finding it ever so funny.
"You two are doing a great job at looking after this little man, he's come a long way since the beginning and he's much bigger now too." Makarov told them, but didn't spare either a single glance as he spoke, too preoccupied with entertaining the infant.
"Thanks Master, that means a lot to us." Lucy said, smiling as the youngster continued to giggle at the older man.
"How're you both finding it all? A blue birdy told me you're now living together?" He asked, curiosity getting the better of him.
"Yes, we did a few months ago, Natsu extended his house for us all." Lucy said, looking over to Natsu who grinned at her. "And I think we're getting along just fine. It was a little stressful at first but now I couldn't imagine my life without him." Lucy answered, but she wasn't convinced that the Master had pulled them into the back room just to ask how they were. He could have done that in the main hall.
"Lucy's right, it's awesome! Haru is a great kid and I'm proud to call him my son." Natsu beamed, fisting the air in his enthusiasm.
"That's what I like to hear! You both made a very tough decision with barely any time to really think it through, but you've made the most of it and I know everyone in the guild is really happy for you." The old man uttered.
"Thanks Gramps! Was there something else you wanted us for?" Natsu asked, turning to Lucy to see if she was thinking the same. Was this really all the Master wanted to say to them?
Makarov finally looked up to the two mages who were staring at him curiously and sighed. "I guess it's time to tell you the real reason why I asked you in here. I apologise for the unexpected meeting but I have something of great importance that came for you both and it couldn't wait." He said, sporting a serious expression all of a sudden.
"What is it, Master? You mean like a letter?" Lucy asked, the way his face turned stoic had put her on edge in an instant.
"Yes, I ha-" He stopped, hearing whispering coming from outside the room, "Can you hear that?"
"It's Gray, Erza and Happy standing outside the door." Natsu shrugged like it wasn't news to him, "They've been there the whole time."
The Master rolled his eyes, of course there were eavesdroppers, he should've known. "Well, it's up to you two whether you want them in here or not?"
Natsu looked to Lucy and nodded, if they were that desperate to listen in then they might as well join them. The slayer walked over to the locked door and opened it, revealing the surprised group who stumbled into the room and fell at Natsu's feet. He raised an eyebrow at them as they slowly all made eye contact with him, sheepish grins on all of their faces.
"Oh look, the nosey brigade have arrived!" Natsu said sarcastically, crossing his arms as they all ungracefully stood up, treading on each others feet and clashing heads in the narrow door way. "If you were trying to be quiet, you failed! I could hear you all coming a mile off!"
"Yeah, well, not everyone's a freak like you." Gray spat back, clutching at his head after smacking it against the door handle.
"You're just pissed 'cause you got caught snooping!" Natsu taunted, a smirk splitting his features.
"It was Happy's idea, Flame brain! He was the one complaining that you two had gone off and left him again, so blame him!" The ice mage exclaimed, knocking heads with the fire mage and filling the air with testosterone.
"Hey! Don't blame me, you and Erza were sneaking around after them! This was your idea!" The exceed defended, it wasn't his fault that people kept forgetting about him.
They all continued to squabble for a little longer, trying to pass the blame between Gray and Happy as to why they had followed Natsu and Lucy, stopping only when the Master cleared his throat.
"Um, pardon the intrusion Master, we were just, er… Coming to lend our moral support to Natsu and Lucy." Erza stuttered, unable to come up with a good enough excuse for their eavesdropping.
"Whatever you say, just sit down and keep quiet." Makarov gave an exasperated sigh, these kids were going to be the death of him, along with the rest of the damn guild. They filtered in and quickly sat down where they could around Natsu and Lucy. "Right, now that that's sorted… back to what I called you two in here for." He pulled an envelope out from his stacks of paperwork and slid it across the table. They both looked at the paper curiously and saw clearly written in black ink, 'Natsu Dragneel and Lucy Heartfilia' with the word 'PRIVATE' in large, stamped letters underneath.
"What's this Gramps? It looks kinda important… Is it from the council?!" Natsu began to sweat profusely, thinking back on any times recently where he'd destroyed something, but nothing came to mind. He hadn't been on a mission in months so that couldn't be it. "Have you been destroying things again, Lucy?" He crossed his arms and raised his brow at her, quirking his lips up at her offended, but totally adorable pout.
"I'm not you, Natsu!" She raised her voice at him, then looked down at the envelope again, inspecting it closely. "I don't think this is about our missions is it?" She asked, directing the question more towards the Master, who simply shook his head. He may not have read it himself but like Lucy, he'd caught on pretty quickly. "If that's the case then I don't think I want to open it…" There was only one reason that Lucy could think of for being sent such a letter.
"What's wrong, Lucy? Do you know what it's about?" Happy chipped in, flying over and landing on her lap. Gray and Erza looked just as lost as Natsu did in that moment.
"Surely it can't be that bad? Why don't you wanna open it?" Natsu asked, still very much confused about the whole thing.
Lucy didn't say anything, she cast her gaze away from the envelope to look at the sweet baby gurgling away in the Master's arms. She felt her tears well up in her eyes and all she could think was if this was bad news, she didn't know what she was going to do.
Natsu took note of the growing despair in Lucy's eyes and followed her line of vision, landing on the infant. He furrowed his brows for a moment trying to work out what could've upset her so suddenly. "Is this letter about Haru?" He asked, realisation hitting him.
Now he remembered! When they'd first brought Haru home, much to the slayer's chagrin, they'd spent hours and hours filling out stupid amounts of paperwork to send off so that they could officially adopt him. They knew at the time that the adoption process would take a while and that they would have to wait for an answer. After that, he'd put it to the back of his mind and it didn't take long for him to forget about it altogether.
He looked back to Lucy who hadn't said a word since she'd realised what it was herself. Natsu didn't bother waiting for her to answer and went to pick up the letter, wanting to know what was so awful about it.
"Wait!" He felt Lucy's hand grab the wrist that he'd reached out towards the table and halted his movements, peering back over to her and tilting his head in confusion. "W-What… What if it's bad news?"
"Why would it be bad news, Luce?" He asked, not fully understanding the problem yet. If it was just to say they could keep him, then that was good wasn't it?
"You have to understand how diligent they are! They could take a disliking to one silly little thing and it can turn the tables against us." She could feel the dread come up from her stomach into her chest, what would they do? "Don't you understand? Bad news means they'll take him from us and give him to someone else and we'll never see him again."
"Never see him again? Over my dead body! How can you be sure it's bad? It might not-"
"But what if it is? What do we do then?" The tears finally fell, coming down like torrents and that's when it dawned on Natsu that Lucy's fear was a very real possibility.
He looked back at the little one and watched him happily inspect his fingers, another thing he'd discovered recently. A life without Haru was something Natsu had never considered, why would he want to think of that? His heart picked up speed a little and a sick feeling settled in the pit of his stomach. Haru was their son, no one had a right to take him from them, not even that birth father of his. It was the whole point of going through this ridiculous adoption process in the first place, to keep him safe and with them, forever.
That being said, Natsu also wasn't one for conforming to the rules, if they'd decided that him and Lucy weren't suitable enough, then he would fight with every last slither of determination to keep Haru with them, no matter the cost.
"Can they really do that, Gramps? After everything Natsu and Lucy have done for Haru, they can just take him?" Gray asked, if that were the case then that was absolute bullshit and so unfair!
"I'm afraid so, it can be a ruthless system." Makarov explained, shifting the baby in his lap so that he was now facing his parents, smiling happily when he caught sight of them.
"In the end, the one that suffers the most is the innocent child stuck in the middle of it all." Erza expanded, feeling nothing but sympathy as she gazed at Lucy, who looked totally distraught by the idea of losing little Haru.
"I'm not gonna let that happen!" Everyone heard and turned swiftly to the dragon slayer, his sight was fixed on the baby, determination in his voice. He looked at everyone in turn, gauging their shocked expressions before landing on Lucy, who still had tears flowing down her cheeks. He reached his hand out and interlaced his fingers with hers, giving her a reassuring squeeze. "No matter what that letter says, Haru's ours, Lucy, he'll always be ours." His voice sounded firm and assured, but a shadow was cast over his eyes, making it hard for Lucy to read his face. She could tell the very idea of this all going sideways was affecting him way more than he was letting on.
He sighed loudly, hoping that all this worry was for nothing. He looked over to Lucy to make sure she was okay and then over to Haru, unable to contain his smile as he watched the little one suck on his tiny fists.
"Are you ready, Lucy?" He asked, picking the envelope up and opening it.
"Ready as I'll ever be." She replied, worry thickly coating her voice.
"Dear Mr Dragneel and Miss Heartfilia,
This letter has been formally written to you to update you on the adoption application you made to us for the infant known as Haru.
It is to our understanding that he is currently living with you both at your permanent residence in the city of Magnolia, Fiore and has done so since early Spring of this year. From the information given to us by yourselves and the current Master of the mages guild, Fairy Tail, in which you are both long serving members, this is what we have concluded:"
"Wow, I've never heard Natsu sound so official before, you should speak like that more often, makes it sound like you gotta brain." Gray butted in and sniggered, trying to lighten the mood a little, gaining nothing but a clip around the head from Erza.
"Shut it, Frosty! It's not my fault it's worded so weirdly!" Natsu spat back, scowling at the Ice mage. "If you're so smart, why don't you read it!"
"Be quiet! This is an important matter and I don't want either of you to start fighting at a time like this." Erza demanded, voice stern and intimidating, shutting both boys up.
"Give it here…" Lucy huffed and snatched the letter from Natsu's hand, deciding it best if she were to carry on in his place. She cleared her throat and began where Natsu had finished.
"As you are aware, the law states that a child may be re homed permanently in very exceptional circumstances which are listed below for your reference;
1. The birth parents choose and/or grant permission to give up their child for reasons they believe would benefit the child.
2. The safety and/or well-being of the child have been greatly compromised because of abuse and/or neglect inflicted upon them by their birth parents.
3. Both birth parents perish and the child has no other close friends or relatives that can willingly take responsibility for them.
In this circumstance, we decided category one only applied. We recently made contact with the child's only living relative, his birth father, to attain information regarding his relationship with his biological child. After much discussion, it was clear that he did not want to be a part of the child's life, believing himself to be incapable of meeting the child's needs at this difficult time."
"Pfft… Incapable of meeting his needs, you can say that again…" Natsu scoffed, gaining everyone's attention.
"Natsu!" Lucy yelled, getting irritated by his need to interrupt her.
"Sorry, it just made me laugh that's all!" He shrugged, backing down when Lucy glared at him.
"After advising him that it was in the child's best interest to remain with his current living situation with yourselves, he subsequently agreed to relinquish all parental responsibility and henceforth, no longer has any lawful right to the child.
As a result, we would like to congratulate you on the successful adoption of your son, Haru Dragneel and will post his new birth records to you in due course. We wish you both the very best with your new family."
Once she'd finished reading she placed the paper down and the room fell silent for a moment, allowing the news to sink in. She gaped at her partner, noticing the huge grin forming in his cheeks. But before he could say anything, she leapt out of her seat and flung herself at him, accidentally shoving him off of the chair and down to the ground, both landing in a heap of tangled limbs.
"He's ours! Oh my god Natsu, he's officially ours!" She squealed, unable to contain her excitement and relief.
Before anyone could react, the sound of Haru's infectious laughter filled the air, brightening the room. Watching his Mommy fall on top of his Daddy like that had tickled his funny bone. Natsu and Lucy grinned like idiots, bringing their foreheads together and revelling in the sweet sound of their baby's amusement. The others watched on at the tender moment, grins all plastered on their faces as they stood to congratulate the ecstatic couple.
"I guess now you really have officially beaten me, Natsu. You know you choosing to be a father to a child that isn't yours takes guts, I respect that, but now it's on to see who can have the most kids." Gray sniggered as he darted out of the room, probably to go and find Juvia…
Natsu, unable to fire back at Gray before he left, looked up at Lucy and smirked, "Don't even think about it!" She stared him down, "I am not spending the rest of my youth popping out children for you to win some stupid bet against Gray!"
"Dang it! But Lucy, he's gonna win! Juvia's not gonna say no!" He whined, of course with mirth, trying to wind her up as always, which was clearly working.
"What a joyous day this is! I'm so happy for you both!" Erza's face lit up like she was planning something as she walked out of the door.
"So kids, I'm glad we got a happy ending because that could've turned out much worse and I don't think the guild hall would've stood a chance against Natsu's fiery temper. I'm going for a drink before my heart gives out and this little guy is coming with me." Makarov said as he too left the room with Haru still happily playing in his arms.
Happy flew over, the last one left in the room, hoping he wouldn't catch a glimpse of the pair being all gross with each other. "So I guess I am officially his big brother now, which means I have an exclusive right to teach him how to wind Lucy up, in fact, I think I better go start now. Wait for me, Master!" He giggled at Lucy's unimpressed face and flew out of the room, shutting the door behind him, leaving just the two of them, alone.
Natsu reached his hand up to her cheek to bring her attention back to him and caressed it softly with his thumb, taking in her beautiful features whilst feeling a sense of calm. Everything had fallen into place and he was overjoyed by the good news. No more worrying, (not that he did much anyway) Haru was all theirs and they could now look to the little ones future, to their future as a family.
"I love you so much, Lucy." His voice was soft and sweet, a total opposite to his usual destructive personality. Lucy leaned her face towards his, her heart pounding in her chest and filling with warmth from his words. She could barely contain her grin as they locked eyes with one another, her lips brushing up against his.
"I love you too, Natsu. I'm so happy!" She met his lips with a sweet but smouldering kiss. Lucy felt her skin heat up at his very touch, and her body tremored from the excess adrenaline pumping through it.
They continued their make out session for a little while longer, completely lost in each other. They were both overwhelmed with pure elation by the outcome of that letter, even though in reality, nothing would actually change. Their lives would carry on as it was, but now at least they had that security of Haru remaining with them indefinitely.
Their kiss slowly burned into something more heated, reminiscent of the previous night, especially when Lucy's hips rubbed against Natsu's groin, causing him to growl into her mouth. It was like something had awoken within them and all the pent up emotions were leaking out in more frenzied movements, turning lustful the more they touched each other.
Lucy detached her lips from Natsu's mouth and slowly made her way down to his neck, grazing over his scar there and sending shivers through his body. She snaked her hands down to his pants and began to rub the awakening dragon through his clothes, feeling him twitch excitedly under her hand. His eyes rolled back into his head and he let out a harsh breath, relishing in the firmness of her strokes. But before all sense of sanity travelled south, he grabbed at her wrist, halting her movements and gauging her shocked expression.
"I don't think now is a good time, Luce. Anyone could walk in, which they will if we don't show our faces soon." He said, trying to compose himself, but man, did her hand feel good on him! It wasn't him that had the problem with being caught, he just knew Lucy wouldn't like that. He could picture her mortified face clearly, she'd be so utterly horrified, she'd probably never want to touch him again and he couldn't have that!
"You're right, I guess." She sat up, disappointment clear in her voice, feeling a little saddened that Natsu had declined her advances. She looked to the door when something caught her eye. "That door has a lock on it…" She looked at him with the biggest shit eating grin and went to stand, pulling Natsu up with her.
"That desperate, huh?" He teased, leaning against the desk with his leg crossed over the other and his arms folded over his chest, looking smug. "You know a locked door won't stop them, right?"
"Dammit! Fine, let's go and join them then…" She sighed deflated, turning to walk out of the door but stopped when Natsu pulled her back to him, caging her against the desk he was previously leaning on.
"And where do you think you're running off to?" He growled against her ear, sucking her lobe and making her quiver. He could see the slight confusion in her face as he carried out his ministrations.
"B-But, I-I thought you said…" She stammered.
"Don't think I don't want to, Lucy. I'd love nothing more than to bend you over this table right now and fuck you until you scream my name." She gasped at the brashness of his words, feeling her legs turn to jelly at the mere thought of Natsu doing that. He touched his lips down to her jaw, leaving sensual open mouthed kisses all the way down to her mouth, then stopped and smirked whilst eyeing her plump lips, waiting for her to speak.
She said nothing, she could barely breathe from the intense glare that Natsu was giving her and the way he was speaking… it made her shudder! She could feel herself moisten down below from the sheer sexiness of his demeanour. Where did he learn to act like this? Lucy was sure if he kept it up, she'd be a blonde puddle on the floor.
The boy grabbed both of her cheeks and pulled her to him, pressing their lips together and enjoying the smoothness of her tongue as it danced with his. He pulled away all too soon causing Lucy to whimper at the loss of contact. "Come on Luce, let's go join the others. We'll continue this later." He winked at her blushing face, taking her hand and leading them out of the door.
As soon as they entered the main hall, a stream of cheers and clinking of glasses filled the room. Obviously someone had opened their mouths and told them all about the good news, probably Happy… or Erza? Lucy should have guessed they'd use any excuse for a party. They walked on over to the bar where Haru was laying calmly beside Makarov, babbling away and sucking on his fists again.
"Congrats guys! I'm so happy for you both!" Levy said from the side, she beamed at them. "Happy told us all about your letter, in fact I think he told everyone."
Lucy rolled her eyes, she really did have to have words with that damn cat, he needed to learn to keep his mouth shut every once in a while. "Thanks Levy, it's such a relief!" Lucy sat herself down, about to reach over to Haru when Natsu got there first.
"It's my turn, Luce. You changed him last time." He said, picking up the little one and scrunching up his nose at the horrific smell lingering around the baby. Holding his breath, he proceeded to change the baby on a nearby bench, burning the soiled diaper to get rid of the stench. Natsu dressed him in fresh clothes and wrapped his scaly scarf around him to keep him warm. He picked Haru up, cuddling him close to his chest and smiled, "Does that feel better little guy? You know for such a small person, you make one hell of a smell!" Haru simply smiled at his father, knowing full well that after a diaper change he was always rewarded with milk time and boy, did he look forward to that!
"I think someone's hungry!" Natsu chuckled at the little boy, who was now sucking the life out of the scarf and making cute little noises. He walked back over to Lucy and sat down beside her. She passed a fresh bottle for the slayer to warm in his hand, placing it into the infants mouth who accepted it greedily. Both Natsu and Lucy smiled fondly at the little one, lost in their own little baby bubble as they watched him guzzle down his bottle. The soft voice of one of their friends breaking them out of their daze.
"You know, seeing you like this Natsu, reminds me of when we first found Happy's egg and played house all the time as kids." Lisanna said from the other side of the bar, she'd been watching Natsu with the baby and it had brought fond memories back to her of their childhood together. "I always thought you'd make a good Daddy one day!"
"Oh, um, thanks!" Natsu replied, blushing a little at the unexpected compliment. He looked up at the girl who was leaning over the bar, propping her head up with both arms, smiling fondly at the fire mage.
"It still amazes me that you've managed to keep him alive for so long. You could barely take care of yourself until Lucy came along." Gray sniggered as he waltzed on over to the bar. "And I bet she's still constantly cleaning up after you!"
"That's rich coming from an idiot not wearing any underwear." Natsu eyed the ice mage, watching him jump when he looked down at himself and realised he was completely naked. "Go find your pants man! I don't want Haru learning your freaky stripping habits."
"And I don't want him picking up on either of your stupid fighting habits!" Lucy butted in before another fight broke out, silencing the two males immediately. "Haru is a sweet boy, I'd like to keep him that way!" She smiled and reached out a hand to stroke the baby's head.
"He's definitely got an appetite like Natsu's." Wendy giggled, smitten with the little one. "But he still might end up like you, Lucy."
"One can only hope!" Lucy chuckled at Natsu's pretend hurt expression. "What? Let me have something, I am the only girl in the house, it's only fair!" She giggled, laying her head on Natsu's shoulder, both watching their little one finish his milk.
"Ugh, you guys are so pure, it hurts me!" Cana exclaimed, smacking her drink down on the bar top, making every mage present jump. She was obviously very drunk at this point, allowing her mouth to run away with her even more than usual. "Come on, let's get this party started!"
"Actually, Natsu and I are gonna head out, Haru's run out of milk and he gets hungry pretty quickly." She chuckled, not sparing the drunk girl a single glance, too enraptured by the cute baby.
"Don't make excuses! You guys are just eager to get home and use your new presents! Don't want any accidents now do we?" Cana grinned evilly at Lucy, who'd gone wide eyed and quiet at the brunette's words. Natsu stiffened and chanced a glance over at the two girls. He didn't want to have to deal with this again, not after this morning!
"Presents? What presents? Was it your birthday or something, Lucy?" Levy asked, not taking notice of the sudden tense atmosphere. She was sure Lucy's birthday wasn't for a few months yet?
"On that note, I think we should head out! Come on, Luce, off we go!" Natsu stood abruptly, grabbing hold of the blonde who looked just about ready to blow. If looks could kill… "Bye everyone, see you tomorrow!" He shouted through Cana's howling, fleeing out of the door with Haru in one hand and Lucy in the other.
He ran as fast as he could away from the guild hall, surprised by the lack of resistance from his partner but didn't want to let go just in case. Once they reached their house, Natsu flung the door open and pulled Lucy inside, locking it behind him before she could run back and give Cana a piece of her mind. Taking a long, deep breath, he watched her walk over and slump down onto the couch and let out her own sigh.
Natsu walked over and placed a very sleepy Haru in the basket next to the couch, tucking his scaly scarf over the little one to keep him warm. Turning his attention back to Lucy, he perched himself next to her, wondering what could have dampened her mood so unexpectedly.
"You okay, Luce? You're being very quiet… Did Cana get to you that much?" His voice laced with concern for her change in behaviour, hoping that bringing up the card wielder wouldn't set her off again.
"Oh, er, no, she's harmless really…" She trailed off, looking down at her lap and fiddling with the hem of her shirt, feeling those nervous bubbles take residence in her belly again.
"Are you sure? You can tell me if something's bothering you." He said, placing his hand on her thigh and began to softly stroke it. He could see that she was hesitant about branching any further into what was on her mind. He took her hands in his and moved to face her directly, staring deep into her averted eyes, catching the uncertainty in them. "Luce, I can't help if you don't tell me."
Taking a deep breath, she attempted to explain to him the problem, "I-It's what Cana said when we left the guild. We, um, forgot something when we, you know… last night and, well…" She faltered, struggling to hold any sort of gaze on his curious face. "And now I-I might, well, we might be, um…"
"Having another baby?" He came straight out with it, gauging her shocked expression.
He'd had a suspicion that it was something along those lines because of how Lucy had gone strangely quiet on the way home after Cana had teased her about using the condoms. Ever the immature idiot, Natsu was more perceptive than people gave him credit for, especially when it came to Lucy, he could read her like an open book.
Lucy snapped her head to his, eyes wide open and her mouth agape like she'd just seen a ghost. She could feel the panic rise up the more she played out what he'd just said over and over in her mind. Only thinking it in her head up until that point, but hearing it said out loud was a whole different ball game.
"And you were worried about what I might think, if you told me?" His expression remained neutral but firm. He knew he'd guessed right because of the way she'd reacted when he'd said it. The fire breather was sure he could hear the rapid beat of her heart hammering against her chest and the fact her cheeks had turned the darkest shade of red with beads of sweat forming on her brow, gave her away before she'd even said anything.
"Oh god, I'm so sorry, Natsu, I've ruined everything! I don't know how I forgot, and now I don't know what to do, it only takes one time for it to happen! Was it nerves? Or maybe I-" She tried to keep her voice down for Haru's sake, but she was struggling to stop the words from flooding out of her mouth.
Natsu pressed his lips to hers to stop her from rambling, taking her by surprise. He felt a few stray tears touch his face, making his heart clench in sympathy for her. Waiting for her to calm down, he pulled away after a few moments, placing his forehead on hers. His eyes were closed for now and his breath was slow and even. Lucy waited nervously for him to say something, anything… yet he remained calm and quiet. She hadn't expected him to be this relaxed about it, but then this was Natsu after all, he always looked on the brighter side of things.
"Shh, it's alright Lucy. Accidents happen, so you don't have to be sorry. I take half the blame because it takes two remember?" He opened his eyes, his voice was soothingly gentle, allowing her to calm herself down a little and think more clearly. "Would it be so bad if we were to have another little one?" He waited a moment to see if she would answer. Her eyes flickered between his as she digested his question, would it be that bad?
"It's just, I-I don't… I-I'm not sure if I'm-" She stuttered, barely managing to get the words out as he stared so intently at her, gauging the fear still present in her expression.
"I get that the idea is scary, Luce, I'm not gonna pretend otherwise, but we managed it with Haru, right? And he's doing just fine!" He smiled, not one to dwell on the past but feeling it necessary for her to know his true feelings on the matter. "I didn't know the first thing about babies when we took Haru in and neither did you, but we learnt and now look at where we are. Sure, I worried about doing right by him, especially in those first weeks, but it was worth the struggle for his happiness. To see his smile and to hear him laugh is reward enough." He looked down and sighed, "Because I realised that none of those worries even comes close to how scared I was today, when I realised that my little boy could be taken from me. The fear of having him was nothing compared to the fear of losing him."
"I had no idea you felt that way, Natsu, you always seem so optimistic. Why didn't you say? I could've helped you through it." Lucy said, shocked by just how open he was being with her, it was a rare occurrence to hear him speak so freely about his feelings.
"You helped me by being there, Lucy. Which is exactly what I'm trying to tell ya! If there were a tiny chance of a baby making itself at home in there, then that would be okay with me, because they'd be ours, just like Haru." He said pressing his hand to her stomach, filling her with warmth and comfort as he smiled lovingly at her. "I'll always be there for you, no matter what happens because we're always gonna be together."
He pulled Lucy closer and wrapped her in his arms, breathing in her sweet scent. He looked down at her flat stomach and allowed himself to imagine for a single moment that one day a new life, that they'd created together, would be growing just below where his hand lay, one he would welcome wholeheartedly. He quickly shook the image from his mind, leaning his head on her shoulder and taking another deep breath, relaxing himself. Feeling just that little bit lighter for getting all that off of his chest.
"Thank you, Natsu. I can always count on you." Lucy smiled, looking over at the infant snoring away with the scarf still resting near his mouth. The slayer was right, it didn't matter because they were always going to be together.
"So... does that mean I still have a chance at winning that bet against Gray then?" He grinned mischievously, waiting for her inevitable reaction.
"Natsu!" Her face tinting pink again at what he was implying. "Absolutely not!"
"I'm kidding, Lucy! I know you're not ready for that just yet." He smiled, hoping that would bring her much needed comfort. She grinned back at him, feeling relief take over her entire form. "And now thanks to Cana and all of those condoms on our bed, we can get in a load of practice." He said, leaning forwards and attacking the sensitive skin on her neck, hearing her heart rate increase and a sharp breath pass her lips.
"Hmm, I do believe we have some unfinished business to attend to?" She smirked, tugging at his hair while he sucked and nipped at her already swollen lips.
Feeling a fire in his belly, he was quick to drag her up the stairs, placing the little one in his own room while they occupied their bedroom. Their movements became erratic, unable to get enough of the other. Pure lust filled the air as they ravaged each other's bodies, making them yearn for more contact, more pleasure. Natsu released himself from the confines of his pants and slid his shaft up and down Lucy's soaking wet entrance, eliciting soft moans from the sweet torture he was giving her. With one fluid movement he sheathed himself within her, groaning from the intense pressure created.
"Mm, it feels so good, Natsu!" She breathed harshly, furrowing her brows as she got use to having him inside her once again.
"I haven't even started yet, Lucy, I hope you're ready for a long night!" He teased, pulling himself out then thrusting back in, making himself grunt and Lucy cry out in ecstasy.
He leaned down and mashed their lips together, his tongue massaging hers while he pulsed deeply into her, making her moan loudly into him. Sweat was pouring off of his face as he increased in speed, wanting to elicit as much noise from her beautiful mouth as he could, bringing her and himself closer to the edge. They were completely lost in each other, totally forgetting that they weren't the only one's that lived there.
It was only later that evening, that Happy decided he'd had enough of being at the guild and was ready to go home and sleep. Nearing the little house he'd long called home, he heard something strange coming from the bedroom window. Curiosity getting the better of him, he flew up and peered inside. His eyes nearly bugged out of his head, Natsu and Lucy were wrestling?! No, that didn't seem right, they looked to be enjoying it and were… naked?! Realisation struck him straight in the gut at just what he was playing audience to and let out a horrified shriek, legging it away from the house and back to the guild to tell someone of the horrors that he'd seen.
"My eyes! My eyes!" Lucy heard coming from the distance, she pulled away from Natsu's mouth and stared up at his eyes, looking just as oblivious as always.
"Can you hear something?" She asked, not really sure if it was just her ears playing tricks on her or not.
"I can't really hear anything over your moaning." He sniggered, reattaching himself to her jaw instead.
"I'm being serious! I'm sure I heard someone say something from outside!" She pushed his head away from her so that she could listen clearly without being distracted, but heard nothing.
"Luce, I hear a lot of things, it's probably some animal or whatever, we do live next to woodland." He sighed, trying to calm her nerves so he could get back to the task at hand.
"Hmm… If you're sure?" She wasn't entirely convinced that Natsu hadn't heard it, not with his sensitive hearing and all, but it seemed to have stopped for now.
Beginning where he left off, he leaned back down to kiss her swollen lips, slowly pushing himself back into her and revelling in the beautiful noises she made. He hammered into her until her body quaked as she came undone, yelling Natsu's name to the whole of Magnolia. Hearing her cum so hard, was what finally gave him his own release, groaning through gritted teeth until finally collapsing onto the bed next to her. Peace and exhaustion washing over them both, he smiled at her drowsy, flushed face watching as her eyes closed shut, his own lids following suit as they cuddled up to one another.
Although struggling to think of anything but the gorgeous girl beside him, he did manage to make a mental note to apologise to Happy for what he may or may not have seen from the window. Hoping they hadn't traumatised the cat too much, Natsu definitely had some explaining to do!
Hi everyone! I hope you enjoyed reading this chapter. I do apologise for it taking over a month to come out. Juggling work, a toddler and life in general makes it hard to find time to sit down and write and it doesn't help when I write something and then decide to delete it and then write it all over again... Anyway, thanks for supporting this story, I'll try to get chapter 12 to you as quick as I can!

Recently watched anime:

• Aggretsuko, Season 3 ✔️
I watch both the japanese and english voice, really love this franchise ♥️ big fan of Haida, even though i don't necessarily ship Retsuko with him. Cute artstyle mixed with adult themes and serious business. That episode when she spends a lot of money on a virtual boyfriend is insanely relatable 😳 hrm.
• Hige wo Soru. Soshite Joshikousei wo Hirou. (Higehiro: After Being Rejected, I Shaved and Took in a High School Runaway) ❌
I'm not gonna lie, this series made me uncomfortable. It felt like someone's own personal dream of having a high school girl living with them, with a too convenient sad backstory. I did finish it, but wouldn't recommend to anyone.
About a grown man taking in a homeless high school girl that wants to pay with sex but he refuses and instead let's her make housechores til she get on her feet again. The extras in this series always say "oh you're a good man for not having sex with her" instead of thinking it's weird he's hiding a minor at his apartment. Felt like he was shaping her into a wife (which he does). Exhausting, let's leave it at that.
• Ao haru ride ✔️
In the mood of classic shoujo with cliché tropes ♥️ yes yes yes. Simple plot of two classmates who were childhood crushes but now teenagers have to deal with new emotions and high school drama. I had it on as background noise and everytime i looked up, something cute was going on.
• Blood c ✔️
I was going to delete it from my watchlist thinking it was a vampire anime but decided to peak anyway, and got completely sucked into it. This anime is BRUTAL. Slick animation, beautiful character design and a plot twist that made me baffled - but intrigued! About a priest daughter who is destined to protect a small village from monsters. Lately they've been coming more frequently, rapidly lowering the amount of village residents. This series let you connect with characters and non apologetically take them away in an instant.
But my favorite thing is that the main character is kinda... weak. ♥️ She's dealing with the pressure of protecting the village and the more people that falls victim to the monsters, the more insecure she gets and it's a thing she carries through the whooole series. Definitely going to continue this franchise.
• Aiura ✔️
I love Aiura but every episode is like 3 minutes, opening song 1 min, and ending song 1 min. Leaving the funny cute slice of life too quickly. Ya did my girls dirty, but it's the only meal i get so i gonna keep watching.
• Words Bubble Up Like Soda Pop ✔️
Anime movie about a shy guy named Cherry who enjoy writing haikus, and a influencer girl called Smile who hides her teeth. They accidentally exchange phones and become friends. They both start working in elderly care over the summer and goes on a quest to find an old vinyl record for one of the old grandpas. It's such a cute story, i loved the characters and the haikus are beautiful! And omg, the animation is super sweet - both colorful and fun, very pleasing! I cried a bit when things got tough but the details of the characters mannerisms is so <33 wow!

“Well, here is my description: I am a girl who loves to read, video games, draw and animated series (and also anime). I like guys who can talk about anything and who are affectionate. And I have a soft spot for bad guys. My dream is to become a psychologist to help people overcome their problems and become the people they once were and even better, and also because I like to analyze people. I hope this gives you an idea. <3″
@eu-ayk, Thank you for your patience! As you can imagine, medical school is grueling so I’ve gotten a bit behind on all my projects ^u^” I’m working hard to finish them all up though! So, your match-up!
I match you with...
Tumblr media
Hatsuharu Sohma from Fruits Basket!
Yep, this is the one! Hatsuharu shares a lot of interests with you, especially videogames— there’s nothing he enjoys more than just lazing around with you doing some gaming, whether you’re playing against one another, cooperating, or playing two totally different games. He’s also somewhat into anime, especially because a lot of the younger kids like it, and he’s not a picky guy; he goes with the flow and will do whatever will make you happy!
Hatsuharu is really laid-back and chill, and not afraid to say what’s on his mind most of the time. So that makes him a great guy to talk to, whether it be idle chatter or deep 2 a.m. philosophical rants. He loves to listen to you, too, ramble on about any old thing. Honestly, he’s just affectionate all around; this man is not shy when it comes to showing his partner he loves them! Such a sweetheart.
He also thinks it’s great that you want to be a psychologist and help others! He and his family have suffered a lot, so it makes him proud that you want to devote your life to helping people overcome their traumas. He will 1000% come to you trying to get tips to try and give Yuki LOL, it’s really funny.
Now, you said you like bad boys (don’t we all)? While Haru is sweet most of the time, sometimes the boy just has to snap... So here’s how it goes the first time you witness “Dark Haru”!:
Kyo’s got a smart mouth; we all know this. Most of the time, haru is able to just ignore the bristly cat boy, but, well... The first time Kyo pops off with something not-so-nice about you, Haru just snaps.
Like, he has instantly flipped Kyo over judo-style, flat on his back on the tatami floor, leaving him stunned. Haru’s face is screwed up in a taunting sneer as he just eggs Kyo on to go scrap it out a couple rounds in the front yard, while Shigure is already opening the sliding door to keep it from getting damaged (again).
Everyone looks to you in shock, expecting you to be startled by Haru’s sudden switch in mood, and are surprised to find you... blushing?
Oh yes, you’re secret affection for bad boys has suddenly come to light... You can’t help but be exhilarated, seeing Haru acting so tough! And he’s gonna take notice, too, grabbing your chin and flirting hard. It’s a wonder you don’t faint from your heart rate sailing through the roof!
Of course, all it takes is Yuki lightly whapping Haru upside the head to get him to switch back to his normal, calm demeanor. Ignoring Kyo entirely, he just asks if you’re okay and if that side of him scared you...
He’s a little baffled when you meekly explain that you kind of found it hot, LOL. Shigure is laughing it up in the background making all sorts of innuendos, and Kyo is still on his back, wondering where in life he went wrong. Well, Haru is at least relieved that his alternate personality doesn’t frighten you... That makes things easier.
So, I mentioned Hatsuharu loves to talk about anything and everything. You guys sure would have some weird conversations, especially as the night deepens and you get a little delirious with lack of sleep. Here’s a look at how one of those conversations might go!:
The starlight filtered in through the half-open window, which allowed the curtains to ripple gently, splaying ever-shifting shadows across your bedroom floor. You and Hatsuharu were sprawled on the bed, with you snuggled up into his side with one of his arms looped around your middle. His other casually propped himself up in the pillows, as he kept his gaze trained on you rambling on about some topic in psychology he had no idea about. Not that he cared; he loved to listen to you ramble all the same.
After your voice fades into sleepy silence, Haru perks up, “You ever wonder if you’re the only person in the world, and everyone else you just imagined to keep from being lonely?”
You sit up with a snort, a look of both amusement and incredulity on your face. “I’m just asking a question,” he pouts as you regard him with a shake of your head. “It’s weird to think about, right? Like, I know I exist, but how do you really know anyone else exists?”
“You’re a dork,” you assure him with a playful nod. He purses his lips and narrows his pretty snow-white eyebrows at you, prompting you to gently punch him in the shoulder. “I’m just kidding. I guess I’ve thought something along those lines before... I’ve also wondered if we’re all simulations being controlled by aliens.”
“Like the Sims?”
“Yeah!”
“That would explain why I walk into a room and suddenly forget what I came in there for,” he postulates with a look of revelation. You laugh, the sound ringing through the quiet bedroom and floating out your window into the night. Humming in contentment, you flop back down into the bed, half of your body slung over Hatsuharu. He didn’t mind —  he never did — and gently held your hips in his hands as you smiled sweetly up at him.
“Well, even if you aren’t real, I’m still glad you’re a figment of my imagination, Haru.”
“That’s sweet, but also kind of frightening.”
Giggling, you shuffled up a little to press a kiss to the tip of his nose. Haru wasn’t satisfied with that, chasing your face as it retreated to kiss your lips longingly — like he really was afraid you weren’t real. You melted into his touch, his presence, and took comfort in his embrace as the night deepened around you.
Well, if you were a Sim after all, you were grateful to your alien overlord for giving you such a great boyfriend, at least.

rules: make a new post, name 10 characters from 10 different fandoms that you like, then tag 10 people
Tysm @bokutokoutarou for tagging me
Lezzgo
- Tsukishima (Haikyuu) bruh seriously I love McDonald’s fries this can’t be better. He’s salty enough to be funny but at the same time he’s mega hella insecure and oh wow someone give him a hug and that someone should be me. Marry me. A+++ character development wooo
- Levi (Aot) Mans went through so much, and still manages to pull through, mad respect fr plus he’s hot asf. And even underneath all that toughness he’s a softie and we all know it bc Isayama confirmed it. Marry me.
- I’m sorry my dude but 707 aka Luciel aka Saeyoung Choi (Mystic Messenger) Did I mention he’s in my top three to simp list rn? He has glasses lmao first off. More importantly, dude puts up such a funny front but is silently suffering without people knowing. I haven’t played his route but I got spoiled a tiny bit and I’m halfway through saving up for deep story so I cannot WAIT to play 707’s story. Marry me please.
- Bakugou (Bnha) Honestly one of my all time favs. He comes off as rude, arrogant, hostile, overall an asshole. But we all know he soft soft lolol he needs emotional support. A+ character development yessss-
- Togami (Danganronpa) I have a thing for smartass meganes lmao
- Rei (Free!) Ah no shit of course I like him.^^ plus I can relate to the only just learning how to swim part lol and he’s so eager to learn I like him.
- Haru (Balance Unlimited) I genuinely prefer him over Daiksuke just by a tiny, tiny bit. He relies on his own skills instead of just money and that shows just how capable he is. Not saying Daisuke can just figure stuff out bc he’s rich, but he does have it easier for sure.
- Mammon (Obey Me don’t ask my friend got me into it lol) Big Bakugou vibes minus the assholery plus he has glasses and that’s hot plus I haven’t finished the game yet lmao
- Karma Akabane (Assassination Classroom) Okay put aside the violence, he’s a really good character with A+ development. His mentality grows throughout the series and I live for it.
- Genos (One punch man) Although I haven’t seen s2, I already think his character is absolutely hilarious. He’s so dense and blunt and clueless omf it’s so funny lmfaoo plus he’s op as shiiiiiit
I’m tagging
@izzyphantomgamer @sunshines-and-tatertots @trashcanweeb @ewfilthymundane @thirstyvolleyballhoe @inlwlevi

[Spoiler Free Review] Hanayaka Nari, Waga Ichizoku
Tumblr media
All images were taken from the official website.
Since I really enjoyed writing my first review, I’m back with another one~ This one will be a bit shorter.
General information
Title : Hanayaka Nari, Waga Ichizoku (華ヤカ哉、我ガ一族)
Developer : Ichi Column & Vingt-et-un. Systems Corporation
Publishers : Idea Factory & Otomate
Platform : PSP
Release Date (MM/DD/Y) : 07/01/2010
Length : +50 hours (slow reading)
Age Rating : Cero B (+12)
I think there are still people playing this game even if it’s quite old since Otomate keeps porting it to different platforms (PSVita and Nintendo Switch). I got myself the PSP version.
Story
Our protagonist, Haru, comes from a poor background and starts working as a maid at the Miyanomori mansion to support her family. She meets the six Miyanomori brothers – each born from a different mother.
It does sound pretty fun at first for Haru who used to work at a factory. However, she quickly understands that it is not going to be an easy task - especially with those brothers who treat her like garbage.
A short while after she starts working, the head of the family, Genichirou, announces that he’s going to retire and therefore needs to chose the next head. He challenges all his sons to entertain him and collect points: the first one to reach ten points will be chosen...
(Check vndb for another summary)
The characters
About the heroine
Tumblr media
Her personality was pretty common : she’s a clumsy airhead, and an idiot (to be very blunt) One might think that this is the ultimate combo to make a character annoying. Nonetheless, I found her very cute. Her design also meets my taste (I love braids hehe). I love characters who try their best no matter how hard they are struggling. Moreover, her personality was a great contrast with most LIs’, and allowed funny and adorable dynamics.
Miyanomori Tadashi : (34) Serious megane dude x ore-sama x oldest son
Tumblr media
(CV : Miyauchi Atsushi)
He lives to work and works because he likes working (this man HAS NO LIFE).
I’m usually not into those guys who look stuck up because I want spicy development. However, he was unexpectdly awkward, which resulted in hilarious relashionship development with Haru, especially in the good ending (I swear I cracked on my bed like a psycho).
I!! Like!! Dense!! and!! pure!! Ossans!! (hey Nanase Izuki ⊂(・ω・*⊂) )
He was kinda harsh with Haru at first and didn’t trust her at all but he gradually opens up and listens to her troubles as a maid.
His route dealt with themes such a friendship and social status. It didn’t reveal anything about the Miyanomori family...
Tsundere rating : 1.5/5
Is this character dense ? yes / no
Mom rating ; Sumida Sanae : 0/5 I didn’t like her :((
Isami : (31) military x tsundere #1 x idiot
Tumblr media
(CV : Tasaka Hideki)
Heyyy it’s the first tsundere!! His relationship unfolds almost the same as Tadashi : tough at first, sweet by the end.
It was hilarious how his personality did a 180 : from  tsundere to absolute idiot sweetheart. However, I have to say that I was sometimes bothered by what he was saying as it was borderline manipulative when he wanted to sound sweet... HMM...
Except that, his route was well balanced.
Tsundere rating : 3.5/5
Is this character dense ? yes / no
Mom rating ; Honjouin Toki : 2.5/5 (She was okayish?)
Shigeru : (26) crossdresser x carefree x teenage crisis
Tumblr media
(CV : Maeda Takeshi)
I’ll go straight to the point : I don’t like him  (;⌣̀_⌣́)
This might be a bit spoilery but I found him very childish even though he is 26. His relationship with his dad is terrible but that doesn’t justifiy how annoying he is. He also had a lot of “what is this feeling?” trope during his route, and I felt like it wasn’t handled the way I like it. The two previous bros also took quite a long time before noticing how they felt about Haru but at least they were cute trying to figure out...
Tsundere rating : 0/5
Is this character dense ? darn yes / no
Mom rating ; Yasuda Shizuko  : 2.5/5 (I honestly have no opinion about her so I’m just going to give her a the average mark)
Susumu : (22) good boy x dense x angst
Tumblr media
I liked him since the beginning because he is the only guy who has always treated Haru like a humain being, unlikes his brothers!!
I thought he would be a good boy whose route wouldbe fluffy and tame... I’ve got it all wrong. He is not that kind... He’s willing to make huge sacrifices for the sake of his beliefs.
I think he has quite a weird relationship with his friend, but no complaints since all the drama was necessary for Susumu to realize his own feelings.
I can’t say anymore because of spoilers huhh
Tsundere rating : 0/5
Is this character dense ? HE IS DARN DENSE / no
Mom rating ; Ariyoshi Fumiko : 4.5/5 (she was very supportive but a bit of an airhead)
Hiroshi : (18) childish x creative x growth
Tumblr media
He’s that cute and happy guy in otome games who likes playing pranks on others...
He’s only 18 and yet, I feel like he has grown so much in his route (unlike SHIGERU). He was very pure and assertive. I was glad that there was finally a guy open about his feelings. His childish side didn’t bother me at all since it was to be expected from the previous routes.
I loved how the ending and his decisions showed that he had grown to be a fine man. His character development was the best imo.
That glow up five years later tho...
Tsundere rating : 0/5
Is the character dense ? yes / not really / no
Mom rating ; Saeki Yoshi : 4.5/5 (!!!spoiler!!! : I liked the fact that his mom accepted his relationship with Haru)
Masashi : tsundere #2 x sharp tongue x clever
Tumblr media
What a brat. What a smart brat. I have mixed feelings about this character. I like and hate him at the same time XD stop insulting me
Although he keeps calling Haru an ‘idiot’ (because he’s such a tsundere), he grows fond of her  (´・ᴗ・ ` ) He knows nothing about love, and because of some minor *incident* he thought that he had to take responsibility and marry the heroine lmao
Anyway, the latter half of his route is drama with his father (actually, everybody got drama because of Genichirou, that prick) that he handled pretty well despite the fact that he’s the youngest. Playing him last before the secret character makes a lot of sense, as it completely exposes the character’s identity and objectives).
Tsundere rating : 5/5 (I’ll give him a Tsundere Award)
Is the character dense ? yes / HE IS DARN SHARP??? (I was impressed during that one scene where he carefully used his brain to understand what was going on, unlike his older bros)
Mom rating ; Imura Chiyoko : 0/5 (worst mom ever)
Secret character : (???) double-faced x and no more tag because I can’t think of non-spoilers
I can only say I liked the secret character, even though I would have liked to see less angst... That will probably come in the fandisc...
My character ranking : Hiroshi > Susumu > Secret Character > Tadashi = Isami = Masashi > Shigure
I really liked them all though ;;; (except Shigeru *coughs*)
Cons
Long common route, which feels tedious to skip when changing routes.
Bad resolution on PSP
Each route follows more or less the same pattern
Pros
Animated backgrounds and lip-sync (even though this game is from 2010 ?!!!)
Large cast of suitors, you’ll eventually find one you like
Very cute optional “quest” system
The bottom line
I kinda regret not getting the Vita port for high res CGs *cries* Since I started playing on PSP, I’ll probably buy the other games on PSP.   ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Anyway, I can positively recommend this game to anybody. I think it has everything: plot, fleshed-out characters, funny moments, action, mystery, angst… and romance of course. I was pleasantly surprised by the dynamic between the brothers since I thought they would be at each other’s throat to become the heir. Turns out I was wrong (phew!) and it is actually the complete opposite. Their bickering was truly heart-warming ~

Blegh
In terms of Persona 5 I’d been riding high mostly since P5D. I’d been positive mostly over it because P5D and fan-generated content had been lovely overall and really engaging and enjoyable. It had helped me forget that the main game itself seriously does upset me at times and I have a less than ideal opinion of it.
*Sigh*
Now I’m starting to feel like that again. Both announcements of today have left brought back to mind some of my biggest problems with Persona 5 and the way Atlus writes in general. What are they? A bit of a lesson then in me;
For myself there are three events in Persona 5 that I really REALLY just consider outright despicable. In no order they are; 1) Two homosexual adult males being negatively stereotyped as child molesters targeting Ryuji 2) Ryuji’s friends responding to one of the greatest acts of selflessness in the entire story by physically abusing Ryuji and 3) The Valentine’s Day event making Canon that Akira/Ren is horrible, Sojiro is horrible and that Atlus thinks all the girls are vapid idiots.
‘Magical Valentine’ raises an issue I’ve always had but makes it even more forceful. You see in the game the Valentine’s Event is only ‘optionally’ canon. You can play a canonical run-through and not have it occur. So you can, legitimately, without needing headcanon or fanon, just have your own canon playthrough in which the girls are not vapid idiots. The anime however, now, makes it that, for the Animation, it is canon that Akira/Ren is an awful person and that the girls are vapid idiots. Oh and that Sojiro is just literally the worst like...like he is scum in this event. As bas as Akira/Ren is (and he’s bad in this version!) the bigger problem I think a LOT of people forget about the Valentine’s Harem Route is that it literally casts Sojiro as a Guardian of Futaba who would lie to conceal her boyfriend’s infidelities...even when said infidelities LITERALLY CAUSE FUTABA TO CRY!
So the animation is now making it canon that; 1) Akira/Ren sees no reason he has to be honest or forthright with any females in his life 2) Sojiro holds such low regard for his daughter he will aide Akira/Ren in an ongoing deception and emotional manipulation of her RIGHT AFTER SHE OVERCAME A SUICIDAL PHASE OF HER LIFE and 3) That Ann, Makoto, Futaba, Haru, Takemi, Kawakami, Ohya, Hifumi and Chihaya all fall in love with the exact same person and are literally when confronted with incontervertible evidence of his infedilities not only tricked into instantly accepting that them all bringing him chocolate on Valentine’s Day was a ‘misunderstanding’ but, in the case of the Phantom Thieves members, this has so little impact on them that mere days later they have no reaction.
AKA the ending Valentine’s Harem Route basically says: “Akira/Ren successfully cheated on all the girls in his life, and is free to continue to do so since they are so stupid that they could be convinced to assume it was a ‘misunderstanding’ even under the most blatantly false of pretext,” the ending basically gives carte blanche to say that Akira/Ren will probably keep cheating on the women in his life because, well, they’re so stupid that even if they all end up right in front of him, confessing their love for him to each other’s faces...they somehow think this was a ‘misunderstanding’?
That’s gonna be canon now for the animation. Not ‘optional’ canon, just...just outright canon. Literally everything in the Canon is soured now. Did you like Ren’s bond with Ann in the foregoing episodes? Well bad news; Ren literally is willing to commit to an intimate relationship with her and then emotionally cheat on her with several different women at once. Did you like how Ren played a pivotal role in building Futaba’s character and helping her grow out of her emotional turmoil? Well sucks for you cause Ren is literally willing to lie to this girl’s face and tell her he loves her whilst carrying on behind her back with numerous other women.
It sort of goes without saying that this kinda wrecks P5A completely since, canonically, Akira/Ren is now just an irredeemable asshole and the female characters are reduced to stock harem-style idiot love interests with basically 0 individuality because everyone has to love the Protagonist (self-insert!).
But when you think about it even in the original game...this was a problem. Sure you could choose not to do it...but you could also choose to do it. This means, technically, as far as Atlus’ writing is concerned, canonically Akira/Ren has it in him to be a complete asshole with no respect for women or his friends...and the females in the game are all vapid idiots. That’s technically canon since that’s required for the Valentine’s Route to work.
Oh, also, that Sojiro is the worst. The worst.
The Valentine’s Harem Event, like the Ryuji abusing event post Shido’s Palace. does irrevocable damage to the characters and the content itself, kinda ruining it since for it to be canon...well it means the characters are terrible people or stupid. Why I sort of have to choose to ignore them to actually like the story.
Of course what does all this writing have in common? It’s a JOKE! Haha! Ryuji’s being abused, isn’t this funny? Haha! The girls are all vapid idiots and Joker’s such a chick magnet they have no varying tastes in partner at all! Haha! Gay men want to force Ryuji to undress for them!
Isn’t this funny? I mean, no, of course not. In almost all these cases the ‘humour’ is...someone suffering. A common retort I then see is; it’s not canon, its just for a joke.
But the problem is it is, all, strictly canon. I could definitely understand if these things were packaged as clear ‘not canon’ events.
Here’s an example; the Blazblue game series has ‘joke’ endings which are explicitly not canon but usually feature bizarre or ‘funny’ scenes. One of said scenes is a reoccuring bit in which the protagonist Ragna is made to wear glasses that causes the female cast to all fall in love with him. Putting aside the fact for the moment that, to me, this still isn’t funny since its treating the Mind Rape of the entire female cast as a ‘joke’ the fact remains that it is, however, not canon. The creators make sure that nothing that happens here technically infringes on or diminished the canon character content by making it explicitly non-canon.
Persona 5, both the game and now the Animation, take no such efforts. There are no efforts to make clear that Ryuji being beaten up is a ‘comedic non-canon overreaction’ or that Akira/Ren being a womanizing prick and Sojiro being the WORST are just ‘comedic non-canon skits’ all these are played as explicitly, irrefutably, canon. That is how the characters are, as far as Atlus is concerned. That is their opinions, their beliefs etc.
Is it weird that P5 Dancing has the best, most wholesome, most healthy characterization of the entire Persona 5 Franchise? I suppose maybe the mangas are good to, I must admit I’ve never read any of them since from what I can tell Ryuji is basically ignored in all of them in favour of focus on the girls.
Atlus has a writing problem and that problem is centered I fear on a simple fact; the protagonist is a self-insert who is assumed to be a self-insert for a very specific formula; a young male who sees female characters as things he wishes to collect for himself and wants to feel adored by. Almost all of the major writing problems stem from this; Girls seem exploited or turned into vapid haremettes? Well, obviously, gotta appeal to that ‘chick magnet’ fantasy. Homosexuality is cast as negative or frightning? Well, obviously, the fantasy being appealed to is explicitly heterosexual in nature, everything else is ‘icky’. Other males seem to constantly be the butt of a joke or consistently shown up compared to the protagonist? Naturally since the fantasy is about making the player feel like ‘the man’ and all other men are simply lame by comparison so that the girls will only love the protagonist (the self-insert).
What really bums me out about all of this is that Atlus can write such amazing scenes as Ryuji’s ‘the place I belong is next to you,’ but then in that same game or anime have the Valentine’s Event and the Ship scene. I imagine in part this is due to it being a game first, story second, so they feel there are ‘beats’ that need to be there (the loser must be made fun of, the protagonist must get all the girls) even if, from a storyboarding point of view...it just makes the characters look A) Very inconsistent in personality and attitude (Ren’s infamous standing up for a stranger being assaulted but then instantly refusing to step in to help Ryuji in Shinjuku) or B) Like massive asshats (The entire Valentine’s Event from Ren and Sojiro’s perspectives.
It is just...its sad. I want to like this story because there is legitimately good characters and writing but...in the name of appealing to the lowest common denominator it gets weighted down by stuff which is explicitly canon and makes the characters awful.
It really makes it tough to like it at times.
*Sigh*
At the end of the day I don’t know how to handle this. Accepting its canon makes a lot of people awful or stupid. Headcanoning it away is fine but...then I gotta accept I don’t like Persona 5 per say, I like what I, or other fans, create from Persona 5.
Also can we please just be able to date Ryuji. Please Atlus. We don’t need another female character to be another fangirl for Joker, to be another vapid idiot who can be duped by the WORST Sojiro, please Atlus, please. Please. There are ENOUGH love interests Atlus, please try perhaps instead stop treating women like little toys for a protagonist to effortlessly collect and dupe.
Watching all the Persona 5 Girls (sans Sae) in the Valentine’s Event is painful. They are characters I like, many of them have good writing...and then they are reduced to props to make a player feel “Oh yeah! Such a chick magnet! They all want me! Women are simply a commodity by which I inflate my own sense of self-worth since having multiple of them attracted to me and betrayed by me makes me feel as if this is a positive development and not a negative one!”
And I do mean that seriously. Look at most content or statements around the Valentine’s Event. They frame it positively. The ‘harem’ ending, Joker is such a ‘chick magnet’ and so ‘alpha’ etc. etc.
Terrible emotional betrayal? Deep seated trust issues? Sojiro treating his own daughter like garbage? Ignored because ‘Joker is a PLAYER! WOOO!” And this is overall seen as a positive development.
By now I’ve rambled on ridiculously long but if I must have a conclusion it is thus; Please give us a Female Protagonist who can date the other boys and stop selling this sexist approach where non-protagonist males and all females serve the same purpose; inflating the ego of the player character.

Tsukista TV S2E2 Summary Notes
Tumblr media
Episode 2 focuses on Six Gravity’s nenchuu, Jounin Tatsuki and Takenaka Ryohei~
(See my Episode 1 post about notation format if you get confused with how I write these summaries)
Read the summary below the cut!
This time, Kentaro [Hajime] has Tatsuki [Aoi] give the Tsukista explanation. He begins the same as Gaku [Haru] did in the previous episode, but messes up in the middle:
Tumblr media
Ryuu [Kakeru] yells “CUT!” and slaps his hands together like a director’s clapboard. Tatsuki’s like ‘give me one more chance!’ and Ryuu’s waving his finger at him lol. Then Ryuu says under his breath to Lui [Koi] “Just say ‘This is Tsukista,’ that would suffice” www.
“Top 3” Survey Tatsuki and Ryohei reveal their Top 3 lists for categories of their choosing.
Tumblr media
Tatsuki’s Top 3: (these are video games, imo he’s a man of true gaming culture 👌)
Kingdom Hearts series
Chrono Trigger
Final Fantasy series
Ryohei’s Top 3:(these are book titles, minus #3 lmao)
Yume wo Kanaeru Zou & 17-sai no POKKETO
Ryouma ga Yuku & Norway no Mori
Current stuff, school recommendations, and a lot of others~ I can’t choose (lol)
Ryohei’s like ‘here’s my Top 3’ and Kentaro says “Top 3? Ryohei, how many things do you have listed there??” to which Ryohei replies, “Well, I couldn’t choose.” And yes, that (lol) in the list is actually on the signboard..
Tatsuki says these are his Top 3 favorite games. Lui notes that it says “series” on his list, so he asks which particular game in the series Tatsuki likes best but he just replies “all of them” lol.
Tatsuki: “Have you guys played any Final Fantasy games?”
Lui says he has. Kentaro’s like “Actually, I haven’t. I haven’t played Dissidia (for the PSP) either.”
Tatsuki: “Have you played Final Fantasy VII?” [it’s considered one of the best FF games and jrpgs of all time]
Kentaro says he hasn’t, but he wants to play it. He’s seen clips of the movie, Final Fantasy VII Advent Children, on YouTube.
Lui says he likes FFIV.
Tatsuki: “I like FFIX, the protagonist was named Zidane. It was really fun.” Tatsuki asks Gaku if he’s played any, and Gaku says he played FFVII: Crisis Core. He really likes the protag’s story in that one. Ryuu says he hasn’t played any. Kentaro jumps in again and says ‘there’s too many games in the series, so it’s hard to start from this point.’
For Tatsuki’s #2, he asks if they’ve heard of Chrono Trigger before.Lui says he likes that game. Tatsuki explains that it was made jointly by the company behind Final Fantasy and the company behind Dragon Quest for the Super Nintendo. There’s various different endings you can get for that game. He says that since that game came out before smartphones, it was hard to look up guides to complete the game since it was a tough game.  Lui says Chrono Trigger’s soundtrack is amazing and Tatsuki lit up so much and was like ‘yessss!!’
Tumblr media
Ryohei jumps a little when Tatsuki starts shouting and fanboying
Kentaro leans over to Gaku and with a ‘look how excited he is’ point lol. Tatsuki gives his signboard a dramatic ‘slap’ and says “It’s amazing.”
For Tatsuki’s #1, he explains a bit about Kingdom Hearts. It mixes Disney characters with Final Fantasy characters. “It’s SUPER fun.”
Tumblr media
“PSA: Kingdom Hearts III comes out next year, please play it.”
(Kingdom Hearts is so good y’all, I fully approve of Tatsuki’s message lol) They talk about how long it’s taken for the third main-line installment to come out. *cough*13yrs*cough*
Next, they discuss Ryohei’s Top 3, which lists his top 3 favorite novels. He says he “wants to show a new side of himself.” For his #3 where he lists “school recommendations,” he lists some book themes he’s come across like ‘reality is not real’ and  ‘inequality of the rich and poor.’ (He also says something philosophical about learning that I didn’t catch that well)
For Ryohei’s #2, he firsts talks about the novel Ryouma ga Yuku which is about a samurai, Sakamoto Ryouma, that’s the same age as he is currently. Ryuu chimes in and says the way Ryouma lives his live is really cool. Ryohei says compared to nowadays, people living in those times of the Meiji Era could not live freely. He thinks the protagonist of the novel is cool for being a free spirit.
For #1, Ryohei talks about 17-sai no POKKETO (“17 year-old Pocket”). Ryuu tries to make a jab at the “pocket” containing dreams or something, but Ryohei flat out ignores the joke and Kentaro’s like ‘damn, ignored’ lol. Ryohei says he was a second year in high school when he read it. The author, Yamada Kamachi, wrote poems and drew watercolor paintings for the collection. Ryuu asks if the collection become a sort of inspirational bible for Ryohei, to which he replies ‘sort of.’ Tatsuki says they each showed a different hobby of theirs - Tatsuki with video games and Ryohei with reading.
Then they tease the activity that the two of them went to do, saying it involves animals.
Tumblr media
Pre-recorded Activity
Tumblr media
They’re at the Tobu Zoo in Saitama Prefecture~ Tatsuki says he wanted to be a zoo keeper once lol. Like with Lui and Ryuu, they have 50,000円 (~$500) to spend.
Tumblr media
The handing-off of the cash
The first animal they see are white tigers. They joke around saying ‘do you think we can buy it with the $500’ ww. They call it both “cool” and “cute” as it takes a nap. Tatsuki: “I can see why they’re in the same animal family as cats.” He also mentions he’s allergic to cats…
The two of them get the chance to interact with some penguins and feed them. They get to the penguin area and are in love with the cute penguins. Tatsuki is worried that it’ll hurt if a penguin bites them lol. They take small buckets of mackerel to feed the penguins~ They throw some into the water where some are swimming, and Ryohei also reaches out to one and feed it by hand.
Tumblr media
(He makes a really funny laugh after he does this lmao)
After they’re done giving out all of their fish, Tatsuki says ‘they’re so cute, I want more fish’ ww. Next, they go to a seal show area. Tatsuki calls it “Tama-chan” (not sure what it’s a reference to or if he just made that up) The seal’s actual name is Moon-chan. They pet the seal and Tatsuki is surprised to find that it’s slippery feeling.
Tumblr media
Tatsuki petting Moon-chan
Ryohei leans into the seal since it’s trained to give people kisses (this was so cute omg)
Tumblr media
*kiss*
Tatsuki bends down for a kiss as well, but it ignores him for a bit. Ryohei’s like ‘maybe it doesn’t like you’ lol. He got a kiss in the end though when they posed for a picture:
Tumblr media
Next, they go to the gift shop to buy a souvenir. They go on a spree throughout the whole store and going through all the items. They compare what they each picked and asked a worker which item they prefer, and Tatsuki’s white tiger in a pink stuffed purse wins. Ryohei wears this around for the rest of the day lol. Next they use some more money to get pony-riding tickets. The 19 year old pony is named Chicchi-chan.
Tumblr media
Then they go to another gift shop to buy presents for the raffle. They buy baskets full of food souvenirs and other stuff, trying to use all the money but it only comes out to about 32,000円 in the end so they have some cash left over (which the pink purse Ryohei’s been wearing).
At the end, the filming staff asks them how they enjoyed the day. They said it was really fun, and it was the first time they got to do a lot of stuff. They’re both stuck up on the super cute seal lol. They reveal what gifts they got for the raffle: one “small animal set” from each of them and one joint gift which is the pink white tiger purse they had been using that day.
The next episode will be the last for Six Gravity and will focus on the kuro nenchou~

Every Hero Starts Somewhere - TCR Secret Santa for @raythecomputerart
Merry Christmas @raythecomputerart!! I was your secret santa, and the moment I saw Teen Titans on your list, I knew what I was writing. It kind of got away from me so it’s pretty long but I hope you enjoy it!
She was a bit nervous, if she was being honest. She hadn’t really been on her own, but she’d always known what she wanted to be. She’d tried to hide the secret from her mother as long as she could, but there was only so many ways she could cover up the bruises and the added muscle she was putting on. She’d had to come clean to her mother, that she had been training, that she was working under a superhero. A superhero who was, like herself, just a normal human being with no special powers or abilities, aided only by special tools designed to help her keep up with the rest of the superheroes.
Persephone was a kind hearted woman with a backbone of steel on her, and family funds to back up her high tech tools. By day she was the soft hearted but stone heiress who gave away half of her money to charities and people in need, and by night, she was Midnight, a hero whose name alone made some of the more hardened criminals in the city shiver in fear.
Haru’s origins were nowhere near as dark or stressful as some heroes had--Persephone herself had lost both of her parents when she was younger. Haru was normal in every since of the word. She’d lost her father early on, and barely remembered him. There was a hazy father shaped hole in her memories, along with boxes of fish crackers. Her mother worked hard to support them, and made a name for herself in the craft world as Haru got older.
But with high school almost done, and college looming on the horizon, the teen felt the pressure to decide her future creeping up on her. Her dream since she was a little girl had been to help people, fascinated by the stories of heroes in the news--but no supernatural abilities or powers had ever manifested, and she tried not to be disappointed...until she heard about Midnight. Her hope had been renewed, and she threw herself into what basic training she could manage. She told her mother she was just trying to get in better shape, to be healthier and do better in P.E. But really, she just wanted to somehow convince Midnight to take her on as a sidekick, to help her become a hero like her.
She’d told her as much, one night, after a chance encounter on the roof of her apartment building. Haru had been stargazing, something that helped ease her stress when she couldn’t draw, and Midnight had all but tumbled to the roof’s surface in front of her, bleeding.
The brunette had panicked, and quickly raced to grab the first aid kit and bandages and did her absolute best to help her hero. Midnight had been touched by her words, though she warned it was a dangerous profession, as the gash in her side attested to, but Haru was nothing if not stubborn and determined. She was working hard, she wanted to make a difference. She wanted to believe someone like her, powerless and normal, could be a hero to someone else, just like Midnight was. That was what finally convinced Midnight--Haru’s impassioned plea, and she promised that when she was healed, she would see what she could do.
She still couldn’t believe everything had worked out, but Haru had succeed. Training was hard, but she stuck to the schedule her mentor made for her--and she still couldn’t believe that Midnight and Persephone were the same person. She became Sparrow, Midnight’s small, but equally fierce sidekick...until the League was formed and Midnight became a part of it. But she trusted Haru to continue to watch over the city, and call for help if things ever got too hard.
It was pretty tough, if she was being honest, but things were quiet--until that night. It had been a routine bank robbery, or at least, it was supposed to be. But everything that could go wrong, did go wrong. The criminal in question was a bulky young man with some sort of werecat ability, and super strength to top it all off. He’d already bent her staff when he’d punched her through the window. Luckily her suit prevented her from getting any serious injuries, and she was thanking the powers that be that she’d had the foresight to ask Midnight to make sure she had a hood.
“Yer gonna have to try harder than that, chicky,” the man-cat grinned at her, cream colored fur almost glowing in the light of the full moon and the dim emergency lights in the bank. He towered over her, almost three whole feet on her measly five feet and three inches.
Haru grimaced and pushed herself back onto her feet, also glad she had a spare staff. Luckily for her, her mentor taught her well. She drew the weapon from her belt and tightened her grip around the staff as it extended a few more feet, and settled into her fighting stance. “Didn’t I tell you,” she began cheekily with more confidence than she felt, “we’re just getting warmed up!”
And then everything went to hell in a hand-basket.
A car suddenly picked itself up off the payment and rocketed toward the criminal, the force almost knocking Haru off her feet while the robber threw himself to the ground as the car smashed into the bank.
“Oh, I missed,” came a new voice, sounding oddly cheery despite the damage they’d just caused. “That’s funny, considering how big of a target I had.”
Haru whipped her head around to stare at the dark skinned teen, dressed head to toe in a black cloak that she vaguely noted resembled bird wings. She’d never seen him before, though it wasn’t unheard of for other heroes to pass through the city and take on crime while they were here but it usually wasn’t people close to her age. A year or two older, if she had to guess?
“Aw great, another one?” the cat beast groused as he pushed himself back up, glaring at the two heroes. “This is just not my night.” He was getting hungry too, dammit.
“You looked like you were having a hard time,” the hooded stranger said, addressing Haru this time. “Sparrow, right? I heard Midnight joined the League.”
“I, uh, yeah. That’s right,” Haru responded dumbly, wondering why he was trying to strike up such a casual conversation in the middle of a fight. Did he really think so little of the man she was trying to apprehend?
“I’m still here, birdbrain!” the robber snapped, yanking the door off of the definitely totaled car and hurling it at the two.
Haru yelped and jumped aside, but the door froze in midair before it could collide with the stranger. When he smiled, it was all teeth.
“Looks like the kitty’s got a hairball in his brain,” he remarked casually, lightly, as if he were talking to an old friend. Haru realized his hand was extended, and with the barest flick of his wrist, the car door went flying back at the young man who threw it.
“GO FRY YOURSELF, YOU BIG CHICKEN!” the cat yowled as he dodged, moving surprisingly fast for someone of his size.
“Do....you two know each other?” Haru realized with a start, glancing between the two.
“Something like that,” the hooded stranger replied. “We’ve got a bit of a history. Meet Renaldo Moon, petty thief and vigilante. Ah, perhaps Moota is more accurate now.”
A vein throbbed in the cat-man’s forehead and he snarled. “Moo?!”
The stranger almost doubled over with his laughter. “He actually said it! Oh, still as empty headed as ever!” He had to stop abruptly and dodge as Renaldo Moon suddenly lunged forward, swiping at his head with a large paw. “I’m Toto, by the way! All the bird names were taken, it seems.”
“N...Nice to meet you..?” Haru offered uncertainly. This was certainly the strangest night she’d had since her mentor had been gone. But she had to shake off her stupor, she was in the middle of a fight. Getting distracted would only make things worse.
Taking a deep breath, she rushed forward, using her staff as an extension of her arm, the way she’d been taught and tried to land a blow to Renaldo’s stomach but he swiveled, the back of his paw catching her across the face and knocking her off balance as her staff narrowly avoided hitting Toto in the stomach. Oh, this was so not going the way she’d planned.
“That’s no way to treat a lady, you know,” Toto supplied unhelpfully, and Haru felt an invisible force slowly lift her back onto her feet. Superpowers really were handy, weren’t they?
“Thanks,” she nodded, focusing her attention on the robber once more.
Between the two of them, this guy was going to be hard to take down. He was surprisingly fast and light on his feet, not to mention stronger than he needed to be. It was kind of annoying, and being a normal human, there was only so many super strong hits she could take before she needed a break. Even if Toto had telekinetic abilities...wait a minute. That gave her an idea.
“Toto!” she called, “can you restrain him somehow?”
His grin returned in full force. “I would love to,” he answered with a nod.
“Just try it,” Renaldo snarled, flexing his paws, still snarling.
Toto raised his hands and exhaled slowly, and the car slowly lifted itself out of the bank entrance and began to bend. A single gesture was all it took for the wreckage of the car to fling itself at the robber, and Haru winced at the sound of creaking metal as the car bent itself around the burly robber. But it seemed to work, at least, as they watched him struggle against his bonds.
“That should hold him,” Toto noted, giving Renaldo Moon a smug look.
“Thanks for the help,” Haru smiled wryly, leaning on her staff. “Not that I could do much.”
“Oh, I wouldn’t say that. You did remarkably well for....ah, that’d be rude of me, wouldn’t it?” he winced.
Haru smiled and shook her head. “It’s alright. I know there’s only so much someone like me can do but...even so, I still want to try.”
“You’re very noble, Miss Sparrow. I can see why Midnight took you on.”
“Wha? Nooo, no, I just got lucky. Really stupidly lucky,” Haru laughed and waved her hand.
“You really think that’s all it is?” Toto asked, raising an eyebrow.
Before Haru could answer, both froze when they heard the sound of bolts popping, metal groaning. Haru’s eyes widened, and Toto muttered a curse under his breath and as if on cue, Renaldo Moon burst from the bent and mangled car with a fearsome roar.
“....His strength is really ridiculous,” Toto sighed. “Honestly, it’s not even super strength. He’s just got so much lard.”
If it had been any other situation, Haru would have laughed, but now they had a problem on their hands. Instead, she shared Toto’s sigh.
“You know, this is not how I imagined this night going,” she stated. She really wanted to go home and take a bath and curl up with a good book. Didn’t seem like that was going to happen any time soon though. “Would it be too convenient to hope for someone to just drop from the sky and knock him out?” she asked.
There was a moment of silence and Toto blinked, staring up at the sky. “I think you ought to be careful what you wish for, Sparrow,” he replied.
Haru followed his gaze, and her jaw dropped. Streaking across the sky was something that looked like a meteor but it was quickly approaching them.
“Now what?” Renaldo snapped, scowling up at whatever was streaking toward him, and then suddenly he was on the ground as the object slammed into him, sending him rolling down the street.
Toto and Haru shared an equally confused look  before hurrying over. The object was revealed to be a person, dressed impeccably in a crisp white suit and red vest. Even a top hat? It looked like he’d stepped out of some period drama. Everything about him seemed too perfect. Emerald green eyes glittered like gemstones, and he was seated on Renaldo’s back, looking equally confused.
“Talk about Deus Ex Machina,” Toto blinked, scratching his head.
“Quite sorry to interrupt. Once I entered the atmosphere it was rather hard to adjust my course,” the male smiled apologetically, and Haru felt like even that was dazzling. Every move seemed dashing and gentlemanly, even as he smoothly rose to his feet.
“Wow, you’re cool,” she breathed, then caught herself, cheeks burning as she shook her head. “Um. Don’t worry about it,” she continued, tugging at her hood in her embarrassment. “I was just thinking it’d be convenient if someone fell from the sky and...well, there you were.” It was kind of like fate, but she was not going to admit that out loud.
He looked relieved to hear that, and bowed with a flourish. “I am glad that I was able to assist such a fetching heroine,” he smiled as he straightened. “I am called Baron, a Creation. I came with my older sister, but it appears we were separated, but it’s fortunate that I landed here, if it was any assistance to the both of you.”
Aliens weren’t exactly uncommon in the world of superheroes, but it was still her first time meeting one in person. Still, he looked incredibly human, save for his cat like eyes, which she only noticed once he was close enough.
Realizing she was staring, she coughed awkwardly and ducked her head, scuffing her boot against the pavement. “I’m um, Sparrow. Midnight’s sidekick. This is Toto.”
“Nice to meet you, Baron,” he smiled cheerily. “And congratulations on knocking over the bowling pin.”
“Are you two working together?” Baron asked, tilting his head to the side. Another very catlike move, and Haru wondered what the odds were of running into two cat-people in the same night.
“No, though that’s not a bad idea,” Toto mused aloud, tapping his chin. “It’s better to have a network of heroes to rely on, just in case.”
“...I am more used to working with other people,” Haru admitted. It was far easier than fighting alone, as she’d been reminded tonight. “Forming a team isn’t a bad idea at all.”
Baron smiled, and once again Haru felt a bit weak in the knees. She was so in over her head, wasn’t she?
“If you’re forming a team, would it be alright with you if I joined you?” he asked. “It would be best, I think, if I were to experience this planet’s culture first hand. My sister is planning on joining the League anyway, so I’m sure she wouldn’t mind if someone was...keeping me out of trouble, so to speak.”
Toto grinned and nodded. “That’s alright with me, if it’s alright with Sparrow here.”
Her heart gave a funny little kick and she almost choked on her words. “Y-yeah, um. Yeah. That’s fine with me.”
“Excellent. I’ll look forward to working with the both of you,” Baron said as he extended his hand to her. Shyly, she reached forward and shook his hand.
A loud groan reminded them all that Renaldo Moon was still there, and he was still unrestrained. The three tensed, preparing to resume the fight, and Haru hoped it’d be much easier with three people against the burly male.
But all he did was haul himself out of the crater and sit down, still scowling. “I give, I give,” he huffed, propping his chin up on his his paw. “I just ain’t cut out for this.”
“This is....too easy,” Haru murmured, furrowing her brows. Beneath her mask, she squinted at the large cat-man. “You’re seriously giving up?”
“There’s worse than me out here, chicky,” he sighed. “It’s been a hell of a night, and honestly? I just want it to be over. If it gets that King bastard off my back, I’m more than happy to turn myself in.”
The air went still as Haru’s eyes widened. “King...?” she repeated. She knew the name, Midnight had warned her before she left. She wasn’t supposed to take him on, she was supposed to let her know if she heard anything. The League would handle him. It’d be too much for her, Midnight had said. She’d looked so stressed and worried, paler than usual when she passed the information on to Haru, and she still wondered why. It couldn’t be that he was just a fearsome villain. There was more fear in her mentor’s eyes than any villain had ever put there.
She bit her lip and clenched her fists. “About that King guy, do you mind telling me what you know about him?” she asked.
Renaldo frowned and squinted at her, scrutinizing her. “There ain’t no way you can take him on, chicky. Even with the three of you. The guy’s insane. He’d even put his own son in harm’s way if it got him what he wanted.”
An idea formed in her mind. Reckless and stupid, but hopelessly brave--something Midnight had told her before, praising Haru’s reckless bravery but also chastising the very same recklessness. It wouldn’t always work out, she warned, be careful of your decisions.
Haru smiled and offered her hand to the exhausted robber. “All the more reason to help us out, right?” she asked. “I mean, if you’re helping out heroes, you’ll be given a lighter sentence, maybe even pardoned, right?” She saw his ear twitch, though he wasn’t looking at her now, and she knew she had his interest. “Join up with us, and I’ll see if I can get some strings pulled.”
“Are you sure that’s a wise idea?” Toto asked, frowning at Renaldo.
“Honestly no, but...Midnight was worried about this King guy when she left. There’s gotta be something we can do right? All four of us?” Haru answered.
Renaldo was silent, then slowly rose to his feet, placing his paw in Haru’s hand almost reluctantly. “Don’t regret those words, chicky,” he grinned. “And call me Muta.”
It was probably the most ragtag team of heroes she could have chosen. Her, with no powers, clever and witty Toto, a former criminal, and a gentlemanly alien. But that night, Haru felt more excited to be a hero than she’d ever been. She paused as the sky began to lighten, the sun slowly rising over the horizon, the first rays of sun washing over them. It seemed fitting to watch the sunrise like this.
“Well team,” she began, turning to face the others with a bright smile on her face. “The next step is to get our own base of operations, right?”
“If you don’t mind, I think I know the perfect place,” Toto supplied. “A sanctuary, I guess. It’s a hidden plaza, past the Crossroads. I hang out there all the time, no one ever comes back there. It’s close enough in town, and hidden enough that we don’t have to worry about any breaches.”
“That sounds like a good plan,” Haru nodded. “Much better than a...oh, I don’t know...a T shaped building in the middle of the bay?” Surely no one would ever be that dumb, right?
It wasn’t at all the way she’d planned for this to go..but you know what? It had turned out much better than she’d ever expected. They faced a new day, united, and ready for whatever would come their way.

how Iwatobi and Samezuka and will respond to a series of books / films about Harry Potter? (Favorite characters / figures, they do not like / whose death upset them, etc.) (I'm sorry if this question has already been. you are doing a great job, thank you)
Oh my gosh, first of all let me apologise for having this request in the ask for months now and also that there isn’t writing for all the characters you’ve requested for. ALL CREDIT IS DUE TO @hasanybodyseenmystraightjacket - THIS IS ALL THEIR WORK! I know absolutely nothing at all about Harry Potter so they’ve ever so kindly written this request for me (thank you soo much btw, I really appreciate it!!)
Haru:
I don’t know if Haru would really love Harry Potter so much, but he would probably watch it with Makoto to satisfy him. He would feel a connection to Luna - she’s rather eccentric and misunderstood, most people think she’s weird because of her peculiar obsession (with magical creatures) but her true friends love and respect her just the same. He would probably relate to how she often gets rather distracted and caught up in her own world and how she often quite blunt with her opinions. His favourite Luna moment would likely be when she spoke to Harry about the Thestrals because it shows her opening up to someone about something so personal to her, and letting them into your world - he would probably respect that and also respect Harry for being so kind towards her.
I think Haru would have a strong loathing for Gilderoy Lockhart since he is so self-centred and egotistical, forcing himself into the lives of students such as Harry despite the clear signs that they don’t care for him - Haru would most likely draw a lot of similarities to a certain pink-haired ex-classmate of his.
I think he would be hurt by Sirius’ death the most because of how much it hurt Harry - witnessing the pain caused by losing someone you love would probably remind Haru of his fight with Makoto and the horror he felt when Makoto almost drowned so he could probably relate to this death the most. Then again, if he wasn’t massive fan of the films, then he might be most upset by Hedwig’s death, as the owl may have been one of the only characters he didn’t mind.
Nagisa:
Nagisa would love the Weasley Twins (Fred and George), because they love to pull pranks and are always having a laugh, they are the jokers of the whole series and Nagisa would probably connect to them really well and love their sense of humour.
They also have their sensitive side though and I think he would be really hurt by Fred’s death because it split up his favourite two characters and with how upset George was, it showsthat just because people are funny doesn’t mean they can’t be sensitive (like when Nagisa had all the stress of running away from home).
His least favourite character would probably be Professor Umbridge because she banned everything and anything fun - therefore, his favourite moment would be in ‘Order of the Phoenix’ when Fred and George set off the fireworks in the Great Hall and made fun of Umbridge in front of the entire school.
Rei:
Rei would love Hermione, because she’s so intelligent and always just wants to stick to the rules despite her ridiculous and crazy friends (something to which Rei could relate to a lot). He would also admire how brave Hermione is in the later series and how much she really does care about her friends - probably would love how there is more to her than her brain, although saying that she still gets the top grades.
His favourite Hermione moment would probably be when she came down in her dress for the Yule Ball, because she was so beautiful and all anyone could talk about was her beauty (and we all know Rei loves beauty).
He would probably have a slight distaste for the Weasley Twins, only because of how much trouble they cause and how much they disrupt the classes, but he would still love how much they care for their friends and each other.
I think he would be most hurt by Cedric’s death because I personally don’t think Rei would enjoy sad and horrific stories like that (I just can’t imagine him coping well with death and sad things), and since Cedric’s is the first big death of the series, it would probably affect him most.
Momo and Sei:
Momo and Sei probably grew up watching these together and since they are quite similar, I would think that they would have pretty similar views and opinions on the characters. They’d both probably have a huge crush on Cho Chang, maybe dreaming about how they would get to kiss her like Harry did in the room of requirement, and they’d probably have a lot of respect for Viktor Krum since he got all of the ladies in the fourth book/film.
They’d probably think the Triwizard Tournament (from Goblet of Fire) was so cool since the competitors got to show off their bravery and strength to everyone and prove they were the toughest wizard and become a champion.
I can imagine them both trying not to cry but failing miserably at Dobby’s death since it was such a pure and heart-wrenching scene that you can’t really help but not tear up a little.
They’d probably have a strong love/hate relationship with Krum then - they want to be him (brave, tough, ladies man) but maybe they would see him as competition of some sort.
