He meets Danny (or Jazz whose in college or working in Bludhaven. Not picky with who) because Haley and Cujo saw each other and wanted to play and Cujo being Cujo encouraged chaos and got them tangled up.

Dick says a pun over that either Danny shoots one back or if Jazz she rolls her eyes but is smiling before responding with her own (because she's used to Danny and his puns)

Dick is beaming cause his pun was accepted.
