Forreal?''#(Meanwhile Robin is sweating bullets like ''I called his favorite vegetable a FRUIT right in his FACE he's going to KILL ME'')#Robin grew extra feet from the bottom of her feet to reach the counter and that actually isn't me trying to explain bad art away #In the original Papadile comic there was a panel of Robin doing the dishes with extra feet to reach the sink but I cut it out #(It was a stress relief comic I did not feel like drawing a complicated background in detail) (BUT YES I THOUGHT OF IT)#Nico Robin Age 11 is *more* than capable of cooking Crocodile just does not trust her with his food. At least not yet #She did start doing the dishes unprompted and continues to do so (mostly out of fear). Croc told her she didn't have to but allows it #IDK a lot of people seem to headcanon Crocodile as incapable of cooking and like. Surely Mr ''I don't trust people'' knows how to cook #Like he doesn't have to be a master chef or anything but and maybe he enjoys not HAVING to cook (pain in the ass with one hand + knife/hook #But surely he can cook decent enough. A Batfam AU where instead of going to get Dick to be Robin again Tim uses necromancy to bring Jason back from the dead. He just leaves Jason on the Wayne doorstep with a 'do better this time' sticky note. Batman can't find out who did it and Tim stays his little latchkey self with semi ok but distant parents (cus canonical they weren't really abusive just not there which isn't good but they could be worse). His parents bring him along on trips but again they love him but they just leave him to do as he pleases. so in Paris he ends up still getting trained by Lady Shiva. This keeps going and Tim just keeps reviving batfam members, if they fake their deaths and Tim tracks them down to check on them. They still have no idea who their shadow is, they can't find him, Tim likes it this way. Bruce goes MIA and Red Robin happens just minus Tim actually being Red Robin. The JLA doorstep gets a passed-out Batman with a 'I can't believe I have to keep doing this shit' sticky note on his head.

I have a question. Also, you're my favorite Royai artist (the characters as individuals and together). You've mentioned that you consider Riza autistic many times, but have you ever given your support for why you think that? I'm just curious what your thoughts are.

comparing to my own experience but it's common to see autistic people be taken as uninterested and rude for being unexpressive and blunt. so it's mainly about riza being presented as stoic and somewhat scary but gradually being shown she's very kind and fun and even makes bad jokes with a straight face (it's so moe........) but is bad at expressing that, which makes both other characters and viewers think she's always annoyed and no-fun when that's not true.. it's so important to me

she also barely understands other people's feelings and takes things too literally, or say things out loud you probably shouldn't

like at the hughes' funeral scene when roy says it's raining and riza's immediate reaction is to go "it's not??" LOL or when roy is coming up with problems as excuse to not fight ed in flame vs fullmetal and riza very promptly solves them...! it's all very Autism to me.. my mom works for arakawa and she told me it's true

(i haven't watched brotherhood in so long but i'm like 80% sure these panels i used are all scenes that didn't make it into the anime which is why i'm an avid brotherhood hater and you should read the manga)

#projecting my major on Vash because them mfs who have changed from the med field majors to that one have some tragic things to tell #and also because I think that Vash would be such a wonderful designer I don’t know why it’s a gut feeling #Nai the law major because of course he would have you seen the guy #he would be a personal injury lawyer because lore #fun fact Nai rested for a semester after the incident with Vash while Vash took two.He never told Nai he would be changing majors #so it was a big big shock for him. they fought again but yk I’ll explain more on that if anyone is interested #as to Kni and WW I thought it’d be funny if they shared a common subject that required a lot of team assignments #and they can NEVER work out together. being an absolute nightmare to the rest of their group #separately they are great to work with. even if Kni can come off as too bossy sometimes he is actually a great leader #and WW would always deliver things on time exactly as it was asked from him #but Kni and WW just never really matched. Genealogy of the Condemned/Convicted novel manga first chapter is done and ready to go!

You can read it here and here (second link is recommended for the notes page specifically).

Things to be aware of with this manga:

This is a short manga of six chapters. It doesn't cover even the entire childhood arc, let alone the whole novel.

Some lines are taken directly from the novel, while others were similar but not identical, and others were changed to fit manga style dialogue bubbles.

Not everything in the manga is 1:1 with the novel, but it's all pretty close.

I'm gonna be so real and I don't know how to address it but fellow trans men you *have* to be more normal about other trans men being feminine. I promise this doesn't make you look like a girl. let other people express their gender differently and stop policing others, and other peoples characters, on how feminine they are allowed to be. I'm not sure where this comes from. be more normal about femininity I know it was forced onto you so I see how you would reject it. but. you've just gotta work through that I dont know what to tell you

I might be killed for saying this but there is something so smart about opening your (arguably worst) new album with "this isn't rock and roll, this is music for children"

God i hope so uts hilarious #it has sass it has BITE #its camp idc #i came with zero expectations for this album then I was hit in the face with an actually very good and fun song basically calling me a Kid #amazing #there is something so fun and honestly cool about eurovision artists admitting that they have Become Mainstream #that their music is not as good as it was #that it has become POP #that their music is now for literal children #and that we are children playing along with them #its also kinda liberating #the idea of music for the sake of being playful and fun #because idk about you i came with big expectations about big lyrics about big things #we kinda got them dont get me wrong #but i liked being slapped in the face and being told Shut up let's just have a little fun #i had fun! i wouldnt have liked this album as half as i did without Muzika za decu being first #wonderful opener and my favorite song of this album #overall i think there are a lot of very smart songs in this album #that kinda play in my opinion with their shift of perception after eurovision #i think its a very contextual maybe even subjective album #and while i think musically its not as good as demoni or um it gives you a lot to think

you know what the thing is, you draw beautifully and it’s clear you put details and meaning in your art, but you somehow miss a lot when it comes to understanding the books which ultimately is very sad.

i hope you know that adding a compliment in front of this does not make it any less rude and condescending and frankly i think assuming that you're some kind of authority in understanding the books in the correct way is kind of funny

#'ultimately is very sad' as if more than a small fraction of my pieces are tied to the narrative of the books anyways #most of what i post on here that aren't subjective takes based off asks about the asoiaf canon is oc content #which i state very often is entirely based in aus separate from the canon work #like youre free to disagree with my interpretations . i know that a lot of the time they arent in line with what fandom as a whole believes #or what the canon says for that matter but it is demeaning to be told that i'm 'missing' a lot in my understanding of this series #stick to letting the Smart Fans do characterization and stick to drawing characters Standing there smiling you stupid artist!!!#txt #asks
