—gender neutral reader, teen gojo x reader hence the preferred use of glasses, established relationship, slight cursing, just a fluffy scenario i had to post with my crippling gojo brainrot before i hibernate once again
“ah.” GOJO says flatly out of nowhere. “my head's starting to hurt.”
you subtly glance at him from the reflection of the opposing side of the train's tinted windows, watching the way he removes his glasses and rubs at his eyes. you inwardly sigh.
“i can't tell if you're being serious or you just want attention.”
gojo gasps dramatically from beside you, “why would i lie about something like that?”
“can you really blame me for being distrusting?” you say blankly, giving him and and his offended face the stink eye, “especially with the amount of times you've whined out to me like some child who wants to get uppies from his mother?”
you silently relish in the way he stays silent, pouting at you whilst a victorious grin rests on your lips, your gaze returning back to the novel in your hands.
“told you so.”
he whines your name in defeat and lays his head against your shoulder, “my head does hurt though...”
the way he said it urges you to think that he is, indeed, not kidding, and most definitely wasn't just seeking attention—voice stripped of any type of cheeriness, coming out hoarse more than anything.
you pursue your lips as your gaze quickly flits to his face, before dropping to the sunglasses situated on his lap, folded neatly as his eyes are closed shut.
right. the object reminds you of what is probably causing him the headache. six eyes.
your heart nearly cracks at the small grimace on his expression, jaw clenched as his arms are crossed, head still leaning against your shoulder as he focuses on heaving steady breaths. you immediately feel bad now. terrible. horrid.
“toru,” you say, alarmed, slightly panicking as you drop your novel onto your lap, hand situating themselves on both sides of his face as his eyes still remain shut. “i thought you said the glasses helped?”
“they do,” he croaks out, the grimace slowly disappearing as he takes in the warmth of your palms, “but they don't just block out everything, you know.”
“did you overuse your eyes again?” you're ready to scold him, he can tell from the way your tone is slowly turning into one of a nagging mother hen. “this is why you should use blindfolds.”
he only breathes a noise of contentment when you start rubbing circles on his temples, practically melting in your hold.
“well—to be fair,” he starts, one eye opening, and sarcasm still evidently present even with a headache, “we were up against a pretty tricky special grade earlier. i may be the strongest, but that doesn't mean i should let my guard down. you told me that yourself.”
you hold back the urge to roll your eyes, instead staring at him unamused. you caress his cheek gently, “close your eyes, idiot.”
your annoying boyfriend deliberately opens both as if to spite you, cheekily smiling as he stares back at you, “i can still see cursed energy even if i do, babe.”
you still aren't impressed. he chuckles at your expression.
“plus, my headache disappears faster when i see pretty girls.”
“oh, fuck off,” you angrily pinch his cheeks in response as he yelps out in pain, before opting to cover his eyes with one of your hands instead. you feel his eyelashes as he blinks in confusion at the gesture.
“does this help?”
“not really. i can still see cursed energy.”
“oh.” you move to remove your hand, “my bad—”
what you don't expect next is that he keeps your hand in place above his eyes with his own, feeling your knuckles under his palm as he moves to rest his head against your shoulder once more, his eyes still covered by your palm.
“i thought it didn't help?”
“it doesn't but i like you touching me.”
you blink, clearly weirded out by the way he worded that.
“...seriously?”
“yeah, darling. now, as much as i like your voice—i really want to sleep right now, so be quiet before i kiss you stupid right here in public.”
you immediately and effectively shut up at that, hearing an awkward cough from the man sitting across from you. you send him an apologetic look, before glaring at gojo, who's now snoozing his way to wonderland.
you have an inkling that he probably won't be wearing blindfolds anytime soon. especially with how he's grinning like a madman even in his sleep with your hand over his eyes.
you sigh—noting to bring a blindfold each time you go out with the man from now on, not wanting a sore arm everytime you take the train home. you can already picture him pouting in response.
“the child that you are, gojo satoru,” you murmur whilst leaning against his head, pressing a chaste kiss to his temple.
“...you're lucky i love you.”
extra:
donning his sunglasses as he exits the train, he cheerily says, “that was the best nap of my life!”
his headache is gone, which is a relief—but unfortunately, yours is still standing right in front of you.
you clutch your numb arm—already feeling the soreness that'll come after shortly.
“i take it back. i hate you.”
“aw, love you too, bae.”
Zzzz...

Injured, but hiding it from Giyu
You already stitched up your wound yourself, so you don’t have to worry about it, Right?
Pairing: Giyu x gn!hashira!reader
(Descriptions of the wound)
Giyu and you were assigned to patrol an area around the Butterfly Mansion to regulate the demons attempting to approach Shinobu’s clinic in hopes to get at least a small taste of fresh blood from these injured slayers resting there. Now, you are surrounded by those trying to get a small taste of your blood.
You got slashed on your waist from a solo-mission not too long ago, it was a small flesh-wound at first, nothing too worrisome. Equipped with a small sewing kit that was supposed to be used on your uniform in case it rips, you managed to close it up and prevent it from bleeding. You never bothered to stop by Aoi or Shinobu and get it checked out since in your unprofessional opinion, you believed those tiny strings are going to keep your wound closed properly. Looking back, you think those strands wouldn’t be able to even hold your uniform together.
Giyu was busy beheading weaker demons while leaving you to fight the stronger one, believing that you’ll be perfectly capable of handling it on your own. You were sluggish though, careful not to rip your diy-stitches and just being tired by the healing process. It hurts everytime you moved, even a little. Walking is a pain too for some reason, even though your wound was on your side.
You suddenly felt a sharp pain take over your whole body, making you stumble and hesitate for a moment. The demon took the opportunity to jump and try to hurt you further, but Giyu was faster. He noticed your stumbling and quickly rushed over after beheading the last demon on his side before rushing over to yours. The head of the demon rolled over the ground, the body disappearing into ashes. Slowly, you felt your yukata get soaked by a warm liquid, making you glance down. Shit.
Your wound seemingly reopened. That was probably the pain you felt. It hurts like hell, feeling the fabric of your uniform stick to your wound. Your skin felt like it tore a little due to the holes of the stitches, making you hunch over in pain. Giyu noticed your groaning and glanced at you, noticing the blood beginning to seep through your clothes. His eyes looked frantic as he harshly gripped your yukata, ripping it off your shoulders and revealing your blood soaked uniform beneath.
“What is that?”
He asked you even though he knew exactly what he was looking at. Before you could stop him, he ripped your shirt open to reveal the wound. It was hot to the touch and slightly yellow around the edges, the ripped strings inside your flesh wound now. His brows furrowed and his grip tightened on your shirt. You held him by his wrists, blushing just a little.
“It was just a little slash before, I thought I sewed it shut properly.”
The water hashira’s face contorted into… anger? Giyu inhaled sharply and closed his eyes for a moment before slipping his own haori off his shoulders, pressing it tightly against your wound to try and stop the bleeding. He used your bloody yukata to make a shapeshift bandage and keep his haori on your wound.
“You should have told someone. You should have told me. You weren’t even in the clinic by the looks of it. Your wound is infected.”
His voice sounded heavily annoyed, but more worried than angry for some reason. His face was contorted into an expression of stress. His hand was tightly gripping on your arm, dragging you towards the butterfly estate, carefully but still hurriedly.
“Someone needs to patrol the area, there’re a lot of demons and-“
“I can send some other slayers out.”
He interrupted you sharply. Giyu is being weirdly attentive right now, usually he’d just give you some side eyes during meetings or slip sweets out of his sleeves randomly and offer them to you with such a casual looking expression. It flustered you sometimes but that’s all, but him dragging you to Shinobu feels… nice. Even though he may just want to keep you alive and well without infected wounds. Maybe he is just being a good friend right now and you’re thinking too much of it.
“You should’ve told me, you are being irresponsible. As a hashira you should well know why you should recover after missions, take care of wounds… don’t be stupid.”
He turned his head to you, checking on your condition and the bleeding. After seeing you soak his haori further in blood, he stopped in his tracks and instead resorted to pick you up. It was sudden, being thrown over his shoulder like that.
“We have to hurry, you’re bleeding heavily.“
Giyu was now running towards the mansion, holding you close and securing you with his arms.
“Tell me next time you have a wound like that. I need to know.”
He kept running, Shinobu’s clinic now slowly coming into view. His footsteps began slowing down but his touch remained tight on your waist.
“I care. I really do. Don’t be this reckless in the future.”
You know that his words may be harsh at times but… you know that Giyu cares. Perhaps magically pulling snacks out of his sleeves is his way to make a friend.

Study Buddy 4
Warnings:this series will include dark elements which may include bullying, noncon or dubcon, or violent behaviour. Mind the warnings.
Summary: a group project leads to a tense partnership.
Character: Walter Marshall
Big thanks to those who read! Feedback always helps inspire and you know I’m always happy to chat about possibilities! Please reblog and comment ❤️
“She’s sleeping, fever’s still there,” you say as you ease the door shut behind you.
As you come down the hall, Walter puts his phone away. He sighs. His curls are mussed from his stressed ruffling. He looks even more grumpy than usual. At least, what you know to be his usual.
“Right,” he sighs. “Just called the captain...”
“Captain? You military?” You ask before you can stop yourself.
“Detective. Left the force a while back,” he sniffs. “I can’t exactly call in, you know?”
You nod awkwardly. You’re not sure what to do and you know better than to say anything. He barely appreciates your opinions on fiction, let alone his life decisions.
“You know, when she was a kid. A real kid, small one, I'd put her in the back seat with her teddy and blanket. Drive her around with me. She slept like a rock...” he shakes his head. “It’s too cold and she’s too sick. Too big for that now.”
You fold your hands behind you. You don’t feel too bad for him, but you feel awful for Faye. She’s old enough to take care of herself but she’s in such a state, she should be left to.
“Well, I don’t work tomorrow. I could—uh, I just realised how presumptuous--”
“What?” He asks desperately. “You’ll stay with her?”
His expression changes in an instant. Hope, concern, the face of a father. You nod.
“Sure, I could,” you shrug. “I mean, I’ll keep an eye on her. Make sure she doesn’t get worse.”
“Really?” He asks.
“She’s really sick,” you say. “And I mean, you’re a cop. That’s a hell of a lot more important than what I do. Oh, I’ll even finish the report. A draft of course, I'll let you edit out all my mistakes.”
He nods and scratches his beard, “hm, alright. I guess... you don’t got any priors and you look harmless enough.”
“Wait? You don’t trust me?”
“I just said--”
“Priors? Did you... Did you look into me?”
“If I’m going to bring someone into my house, I’m doing a background check,” he says nonchalantly. “Don’t worry, you passed.”
“I’m not so sure about that. I pocketed a tootsie roll at the corner shop when I was eight. Maybe I should just go--”
“I was just being safe. She’s my daughter,” he insists.
“I know, I look like a criminal,” you go and grab your bag.
“Please--”
“Relax, I’m not going anywhere. Faye didn’t run a search on me,” you say. “I’m just grabbing my phone charger.”
“Oh, right,” he drawls.
“So uh, I’ll just work on that paper then. You probably gotta get ready soon, huh?”
“Right about now, yeah,” he grumbles and rubs behind his ear.
“Cool, I’ll get back to it,” you go to the table and plug the cord into the outlet behind the chair.
You plug in your cell then turn the laptop towards you. You pay Walter no mind as you review the paragraphs he added in your absence. Or you try not to notice him. He looms and you feel the heat of his gaze on you, for about a minute before he disappears down the hall.
You focus on your task. You might as well get the report out of the way. Faye won’t sleep very long. You can’t let her either. You have to make sure that fever doesn’t get any higher. You’re no nurse or anything but you know that at least. Writers do tend to have peculiar search histories. Even aspiring ones.
The night promises you little rest. You’re a bit disappointed. You hope for a break to refresh a bit. You can’t be too upset, you should feel lucky you’re not sick as a dog.
Walter returns. He smells like pine and mint. He moves around the kitchen wordlessly. He opens a few cupboard before nearing the table.
“Kid likes grape soda, there’s lots in the fridge. Some mac and cheese in the cupboard if you feel up to it,” he offers.
“No problem. I think I’ll probably just finish this then deal with my other assignments. More than enough to last the night,” you assure him. “Uh...” you sit back and look at him. “Good luck?”
His brows furrow, “thanks. Well, I’ll be off. Call me if you need anything.”
“Sure,” you agree and go back to typing.
He grunts and stomps off. He rustles around in the entryway as you try to concentrate on the half-finished sentence before you. Even as the door shuts and the lock grinds, you find it hard to add anything. This is weird. You definitely didn’t expect this.
Another hour and you call it quits. It’s good enough. Besides, he will be sure to make it perfect. At least, to his standard.
You get up and stretch. You pace around restlessly then go to check on Faye. You were never much of a babysitter. The few times you did so, you felt wildly incapable. You tap on the door before you enter.
She’s awake but groggy. You touch her forehead. She’s still hot but not feverish. You’re relieved. You bring her some more water then leave her to rest some more.
Your keep your ears pricked as you go back to the kitchen table. You open up another course and work your way through the lesson. It won’t be so bad if you can even get ahead of schedule.
You cup your chin as your eyes turn fuzzy. You blink and make your vision clear. You can do this. There’s nothing else you can do. You gotta make it through the night, make sure Faye is okay. With how Walter gets about novels, you can’t imagine what would happen if you failed at this.
You yawn and rub your temples as you try to shake some life into yourself. You get through the lesson and submit your discussion response. You go into the assignment then start to plot out your project. The clock ticks by.
Nine turns into midnight before you stop again. You stand and jump around, getting your blood going. You look in on Faye again. She needs tissue and tea. Does he not have any honey? You leave that with her as she scrolls dully through Tiktok.
In the kitchen, you stare at the blinking cursor. You don’t get much done. Your brain clogs with molasses. Your eyelids droop. 2am. You blink. 2:07. Blink. 2:22.
You don’t realise you're asleep until you wake up. The smell of coffee tickles your nose and draws your head up with a gasp. You wipe the drool from your cheek and feel the imprint of the table’s edge on your skin. You bat away the glossiness in your eyes as Walter stands on the other side of the laptop.
“Oh, hi.”
“Morning,” he says as he puts down one of the plain paper cups. “Coffee.”
“Uh, thanks,” you glance at the cup. “Er... Faye’s fever broke. I think she’s feeling better. I must have... must have dozed off.”
“That’s fine,” he says.
“So I guess...” you stand and close your laptop. “I should get out of your hair. Finally.”
“No hurry. If you need to sleep, there’s the couch,” he offers. You hesitate. You look at him and his cheek ticks. “What?”
“Hm? Nothing. That’s nice of you.”
“I can be nice.”
“I didn’t say--” you begin to argue. “I know. Thanks for the coffee.”
You wrap up your charging cord and scoop up your phone and laptop, balancing the cup in your other hand. You turn and groan at the stiffness in your hips. Oof, those chairs are not forgiving.
He follows you like a shadow as you head for the door. “I am nice,” he insists.
You look up as you put the cup on the corner table and pack up your bag, “I know. First draft is done.”
He huffs. “Thank you.... you know, for keeping an eye on her.”
“Oh, it’s no problem,” you assure him as you go to pull on your shoe, only to nearly tip over. “Oomph.”
“Look, you shouldn’t go right away. I can see you’re beat, so why don’t you get a few hours in. Buses don’t come out this way more than once an hour before ten.”
You look at him again. He crosses his arms, his thick chest bulging beneath. Is he suggesting or commanding? It’s hard to tell with him. And you are exhausted.
“I don’t want to bother.”
“If it was a bother, I wouldn’t offer,” he retorts.
“Oh, of course, I guess...”
“I’ll get you a blanket,” he spins and marches off before you can finish your sentence. You never said yes.

THE BROTHERS WITH JEALOUSY
A demon decides that it’ll be fun to flirt with the human exchange student, but the brothers won’t be so happy about this when they find out. Or a demon flirts with MC and they deal with the demon personally.
------------
Lucifer
Trouble seems to find you when he takes his eyes off you for a second. He asks you to wait by the halls of RAD while he clarifies something with Diavlo, only to come back to a demon flirting with you.
His pride won't allow him to admit that he’s feeling such emotions towards a lowly creature.
That doesn’t mean he would let this slide though.
He would quietly walk up behind you, and you’re only made aware of his presence when you notice the demon go pale, followed by the sudden heavy pressure in the air.
“Such conduct is unfitting and against RAD rules. Go straight to the student council’s room, I would like to have a word with you. In private.” Oh no.
You notice his sour mood and if you ask, he may be a bit passive aggressive about it at first but softens in the end. He knows that in the end, your affections lie with him.
He would kiss your hand “You can go home. I’ll be running a bit late, love. I need to remind a certain demon not to meddle with what’s mine.”
You’ll never see that demon in the halls again. Even his name in the class list disappears too.
When he finds you home in your room, he will hold you close for the rest of the night to make up for the time he spent “dealing” with that meddlesome demon.
Mammon
It’s lunch break and he tries to find you after class, only to spot a demon chatting with you. The distance between you two is way too small than he’s comfortable with.
“OI OI OI! DON'T YA THINK YOU’RE GETTIN’ TOO CLOSE?! PAWS OFF!”
Much to that demon’s annoyance, the last thing he’d want is to get on the bad side of the demon next in the line of power from Lucifer.
“YEAH YOU’D BETTER LEAVE!” He’d yell as he watched the demon walk out the classroom.
You turn to him “Mammon… he just wanted help on our upcoming essay.”
“I-I KNEW THAT! BUT THAT AIN'T AN EXCUSE FOR YOU TWO TO BE SITTIN’ R-RIGHT NEXT TO EACH OTHER!! HE SHOULD GO FIND SOMEONE ELSE!!!”
He doesn’t admit he’s jealous, but it’s way too obvious. It’s so silly that you find it kind of cute.
Though if you find yourself in an uncomfortable situation with an incubus trying to woo you, you know you can count on Mammon to protect you.
If that happens, he would guard you and make sure no demon lays a hand on you. You’re his first after all, his treasure. He won’t let anyone take you away from him that easily.
Levi
Being the Avatar of Envy? Jealousy won’t sit well with him if he spots you with another demon trying to impress you while he was out checking the new merch line up at a shop he frequents to. Coming back to this was… awful.
He’s not confrontational and even if he was, he lacks the social skills to be one.
He would think that you’re probably better off with that demon than a yucky shut-in otaku like him who only plays games.
He would sulk in his room. He won’t admit these feelings until you ask him about it. Please give him lots of hugs and reassurance afterwards.
If he finds that you’re uncomfortable with this demon's advances, he’ll get all the courage he needs to take you away from the situation. His aura gives you the impression that he won’t take no as an answer.
“H-hey! That's enough! If you don't leave them alone, I’ll make sure you get a nice good swim in the depths with Lotan!”
Would get red all over once the tension is gone, embarrassed about his behavior. What was he thinking grabbing your hand like that and saying all those words against that demon?! He can’t even face you right now.
“I think you were pretty cool back there. You’re like those protagonists in that anime we watched last night!” now cue the iconic levi scream.
Satan
You promised to meet up with Satan so you both could check out the drinks offered at the Cat’s Eye Cafe. You waited a few blocks nearby for him when a demon walked up and tried his hand at pick-up lines with you.
Some of their words were just cringy and disturbing, you felt very uncomfortable and prayed something can get you out of this.
“If you don’t leave right this instance, I’ll make you regret having the ability to speak or I'll rip your jaw from the rest of you, you half-wit filthy scum.”
You can feel the electricity from the air, seeing as Satan shooting daggers into that demon’s soul who dared get in the way of his date.
It takes your gentle touch and words to calm him down enough that he wouldn’t slaughter the poor demon on the spot (not yet at least).
“I’m sorry I couldn’t get to you sooner. I overheard you both and… I can’t believe the despicable words he’d dare utter to you. You’re worth more than that.”
He would give you lots of words of affection afterwards, ones that you deserve to hear. He’s glad it made you smile.
You both calmed down from the events and enjoyed the company of cats. At night though, he slips out into the streets and searches for that demon earlier.
He was glad that you stopped him from killing him earlier, because now he can bask in the joys of torturing this poor soul without any worries.
It’s safe to say you’ll never see that demon again.
Asmo
He’s not one to encounter emotions like jealousy. He’s been with demons that would have other lovers than himself after all. So why did it bother him so much when a Succubi was getting a bit too close with you today?
It happened when he grabbed drinks for the two of you at a party that you agreed to accompany him in. By the time he came back, this wench— I mean, this lady, had taken the seat next to you.
He knows that you only love him, he’d never doubt your feelings for a second. It’s just irritating to see someone else try to get their hands on you.
He’s more open about voicing out his thoughts and complaints “MC~ You promised it’s supposed to be our night! … So what is she doing in my seat?” The drop of his cheerful tone at the end is a sign of trouble.
Being famous in every magazine, club, and billboard, the succubi leaves you both to avoid trouble. Asmo turns to you being all glassy eyed and pouty.
“MC, you promise you only love me right?” he whines “I know we both look so stunning, but I don’t want any other demon to steal you away!”
He won’t stop until you give him the affection and reassurance he needs.
“I knew it! Of course, no succubi can measure up to a demon like me after all! <3”
Would post Devilgram pictures of you both (with your consent ofc) so people would know that you are off-limits.
Beel
When it comes to you, Beel can be such a soft and gentle giant or monstrous beast with an appetite for blood.
He came along with you when you went out on a food errand. You were in charge of picking up the food for tonight’s dinner, and with the portions needed to fill Beel’s stomach, you decided that you need an extra pair of hands to carry it all home.
You went back inside to fetch the last order and from the window, he can spot you getting hit on by the waiter.
An uncomfortable coil settles in the pit of his stomach when he thinks about you with another demon.
Regardless of what he wants, your happiness is always his priority even at the expense of his own. At least that’s what he thought as he saw the demon flirt with you endlessly.
The moment he sees even the smallest sign of unease from you though, he’d drop everything to get to you.
The doors would slam against the wall as you watch the giant get in between you and that waiter.
“We came here for our food. If you take too long to get it… I'm gonna have to look for something else to eat.”
Beel’s appetite has a reputation of eating anything… and anyone. The waiter immediately knew what he meant and scurried off back to the kitchen for your order (and his life).
You thank Beel and to make him feel better, you promised to give him your dessert for tonight. That immediately makes him smile.
Lucifer would demand why it took you both so long to get dinner. After Beel informs him of what happened, the waiter is either fired or the shop is shut down.
Belphie
One of his favorite napping spots is in this hidden area at the school’s garden. It’s perfect because the brothers never find him here and he can sleep undisturbed.
So he was very surprised to hear your voice here, and he assumed that you somehow managed to find him. But then he heard you talking to another demon.
Belphie at first thought it might be your classmate and maybe you’re here to study the plants blooming in the garden. Until he heard some flirtatious remarks that made both his eyes shot open. Was this guy flirting with you?
Of all the brothers, he’s the most spoiled and there’s no way that he was gonna let anyone have you. He refuses to share with anyone except Beel.
But after hearing how the conversation was going, he immediately understood why you were here. You’ve been trying to escape this demon’s advances. His mood quickly turned sour when he heard all the words coming out of that demon’s mouth. What kind of lowly demon thinks he can talk to you like that?!
You’re both surprised to see him rise from the bushes of the garden, and you could feel the deadly aura emanating from him.
“First you ruined my sleep… then you tried getting your disgusting hands on my MC… If you don’t run in five seconds, I'll make you regret it.”
With his reputation, sometimes it’s hard to believe how intimidating Belphie could be but only a fool would want to cross him. The demon leaves in a hurry, and he invites you to rest in the gardens together.
He would demand to be spoiled and want all your attention. He’ll be pouty until you let him rest on you like a pillow.
“Heh, is this my reward for saving you earlier? I’m glad I was here then. But don’t tell my brothers about this hiding spot okay? It’s our little secret”
He’ll eventually tell Barbatos about it, to report about that demon’s “indecent behavior” towards the exchange student. The demon never dared to lay a finger on you again.

hello Nim, congrats on 900 followers! may I request a tickle interrogation fic with lee caelus and ler dr. ratio? you probably know why I ask.... if not, anything haikaveh would be cool please!
Hi anon!
I think you're talking about the scene with Dr. Ratio trapping Caelus in the recent update, right? Heheh, guess our mind went the same way...
“WahAHAHAIT!! Eheheh, n-nohoho mohohore!!” Caelus laughed, clenching his hands into fists while the restrains around his wrists kept them tied to the chair’s arms. His attempts of protecting his body from his captor’s ticklish assault were, so far, all fruitless. The only thing he could do was to laugh - and laugh a lot.
With some sort of inhumane precision, those fingers knew exactly where they should strike to send Caelus into a fit of hysteric giggles, effortlessly drawing out more and more of his laughter. “C-cohohohome on!! GihiHIhive me a brehehak!!” Caelus whined through chuckles, scrunching up his shoulders and pressing his eyes shut as if it would make the tickling any more bearable.
Still, his captor didn’t seem to be convinced and, instead, continued to knead at the soft spot below Caelus’s ribs.
After a couple of minutes that felt like an eternity, the tickling stopped. Caelus let out a loud groan, feeling his cheeks a little sore from smiling for so long. It was only when the sound of his laughter ceased that Caelus could focus on what the man in front of him was saying. Right, he remembered: his captor - Dr. Ratio - was explaining why he was being interrogated in the first place.
“And, therefore, the prime suspect behind Herta’s disappearance is… you”, Dr. Ratio concluded, withdrawing his hands and resting them over Caelus’s arms. “Now, do I need to repeat myself one more time or was this enough to help you remember where you were during the puppet’s disappearance?”
Right, it’s because of that. If anything, Caelus knew he just had to prove that he was innocent and had nothing to do with the puppet going missing, but how was he supposed to do that while strapped to a chair?
The trailblazer sighed, looking away as he tried to clear his thoughts. For some reason, he couldn’t recall most of the details and all the events from earlier that day were a bit blurry inside his head.
“It’s impolite to ignore a person while they are speaking to you,” Dr. Ratio interrupted, placing one hand on Caelus’s shoulder as he looked at him straight in his eyes. “Now, if you’d be so kind as to answer my question and spare us both from wasting any more time in this absurd interrogation, I’d be pleased. Where were you during the puppet’s disappearance?” Dr. Ratio said firmly, narrowing his eyes.
Caelus sighed, looking up to Dr. Ratio’s face. The way this man talked made him feel even more confused, but he knew he had to give him an answer - and do it soon.

10 Years More (Stanley’s Tale)
Stanley Pines is hitting his late 30s. He has lived a hard life on the road and only when he was in his darkest moment in '82 did he finally turn to family to help. Now, after a few years of living with his older brother, he is mostly on his feet. There are still days where he sleeps in his car but he at least knows he can make an honest living and turn to some people when in a terrible bind.
Still the world does change in terrible ways and now Stan finds himself packing up once again to drive towards a person he is sure never wants to see him again just because his mother asked him to. The last time anyone even heard from him was that same year Stan dialed up Sherman's number, who said that the man just decided to fully cut himself off from family forever?
What kind of town was Gravity Falls anyways? Whose to say Stanford even needed help?
Ao3 (THE FIC THAT MAY NEVER BE COMPLETED IS BEING WRITTEN)
Chapter 3
Gravity Falls was a small town nestled in a strangely shaped valley and, from Ford’s notes, was a place that was full of weirdness that the citizen apparently ignored. From gnomes to weird doorways that should not be opened, they would happily keep their eyes shut. What they did not ignore was the new red car that was currently driving down the main road.
All eyes seem to be glued to the stranger as he made his way up Main Street.
Stan shrunk down in the driver’s seat as he pulled into the first food place he saw. It was a weird building, shaped like a log with a big sign that read ‘Greasy’s Diner’ up on top. Hopefully the place was not too expensive.
He tried to ignore the stares that were being not so subtly thrown his way as he opened the door.
“Yeah, I know I’m good lookin’. Stop yer staring!” He shouted at a couple that had stopped mid-walk by to parking lot.
He watched the couple jump and scurry away, finally taking their eyes off him.
He knew he was a mess. Between driving up all night and cleaning up the office space in the house, he probably needed a good night’s rest. At least more then the few hours he got when he accidently drifted off in Ford’s room.
Stanley slammed the can door shut and locked it, shoving his hands in his pockets to subtly count what loose change he had saved from his last odd job. Hopefully it would be enough to last him however long he would be staying in this town.
He kept his head down as he moved up the stairs and into the Greasy’s proper. He could already feel the stares as he made his way over to the nearest booth and sat down.
“Well, I’ll be! If it isn’t the fancy scientist man up in the woods,” a voice said next to him.
Stan jumped and looked up. The waitress standing in front of him, Susan by her nametag, smiled down at him.
“We all thought you had split town with your buddy years ago,” she set a mug down and started to pour a cup of coffee without him even ordering one, “What brings you back to town, stranger?”
“Oh, I’m not-,” Stan tried to correct her but she just kept talking.
“You still doing your mysterious experiments up there in that house of yours?” She laughed, “I’d pay to see what crazy experiments you got cooking.”
“But the thing is...” he blinked, “Did you say pay?”
The woman smiled down at him, taking a notepad out of her apron, “Well sure. I ain’t going to just roam into your home without proper compensation. I’m just everyone would pay good money to check out what you had cooking up there all these years, especially after that disappearing act you did.”
Stan’s hand went back to the bills in his pocket. It was enough for a few days of diner food but would it keep him running as long as he needed to rebuild that portal? Then there was the issue of getting water, heat, and electricity turned back on. Plus, he would need to repair the house some if he was going to stay here for more then a few days.
“What about ten-no, fifteen bucks for a tour?”
“Really!” The woman’s eyes seemed to sparkle, “You would really give me a tour of your fancy science house?”
“Yeah,” Stan stood up, “In fact, I’ll give everyone a tour! Fifteen per head, no refunds!”
Everyone in the diner that had been watching the exchange seemed to turn away at that moment. The chatter in the diner growing to one of excitement as Stanley sat down and picked up a menu.
“Course I am gonna need to eat something first,” Stan said, “But then we an all head down to the…the Murder Hut and check out all the science doo-dads.”
“Well in that case, the meals on the house,” Susan cheered, “What name can I put down for the order?”
“Stan…ford. Stanford Pines.”
Susan wrote the name down and looked at him expectantly.
“And what can I get you, Stan?”
Stan glanced down at the menu. His mind churning with indecision. He was not sure why he had claimed his brother’s name, but everyone here seemed to believe he was some big science man with a spooky cabin. Maybe they would like it better if he WAS his brother.
“Just get me the Chef’s special, toots.”
He handed the menu back after his order was written down and tried to calm his racing heart. The chatter around the diner had not died and he saw a few people rush out with excitement. Maybe they would tell their friends about the newly opened Murder Hut and get him even more money.
He tapped his fingers a nervous beat on the table as guilt began to gnaw at him.
Maybe taking all these people would be a bad idea. He hadn’t done a con in years, what if they saw right through him and just chased him out of town. What was he even going to show them, he didn’t know any science.
He was broken from his nervous thoughts by a plate being set down in front of him.
“Thanks, Susan. You’re a really doll.”
The waitress giggled, “Have a good lunch, man of mystery.”
Stan cut into his pancakes and hummed in thought. He would just have to wing it, he guessed. Not that he was not used to that. If he wanted to survive out here in Gravity Falls, this might be the only way how.
It took no time at all to finish up his meal. Even without needing to pay, he still slapped a few bills down for a tip. Susan would be giving it back anyway, plus if she didn’t like the tour he could still claim he did give her money for the food.
“Everything to your liking, I see,” Susan said as she picked up the plates.
“Everything was great. Compliments to the chef and the lovely waitress that served me.”
Susan laughed and waved a hand at him, “Oh stop it you. But actually, keep going.”
Stan laughed awkwardly as he slipped from the booth and slipping his hands into his jacket pockets.
“I should have everything ready for a tour in an hour. So don’t be late,” he winked.
Susan gave another one of her laughs, “I can’t wait. I’m sure am excited to see what you have been doing up there these past ten years.”
“Yeah,” Stan scratched at the back of his neck, “I am too. I mean, excited to show everyone. It’s gonna be great.”
“Well, see you soon Mr. Mystery.”
She winked, saying the word wink as she did, before moving on to help the next customer. He took that as his chance to escape. He had to make it back to the cabin to make is presentable for people as quick as possible.
The car ride back to Gopher Road was one that seemed to take longer than he was expecting. Not that there was traffic but that his head was running through all the possible things he was going to tell these people that would make fifteen dollars a head worth it.
He did not know half the stuff locked away in his brother’s house, let alone enough to explain it.
As he pulled in next to the broken-down truck, he looked at the cabin in a light of an outsider. When he first arrived here, he had thought this place was a creepy abandoned shit hole. It still looked like that even in the light of day.
“How am I supposed to sell this place to them?”
He felt his palms sweat as he slammed the car door and rushed inside. Looking around at the dirt covered floor and grimy walls. As he moved through the house, he nearly tripped over his feet when he passed by the room that held the basement door.
Stan backed up and looked into the darkened room. Shelves on shelves of knick-knacks and doohickies were there. Those roobs had to find some of this stuff interesting.
“Alright, let’s get to cleaning.”
It took nearly the whole hour, but Stan thought he got the large room looking at least a little presentable. He was even careful enough to push a shelf in front of the basement door so nosy townsfolks would not ask to see the portal. He was not sure why, but he had a feeling that there were some things in this house he needed to hide even from them.
Wiping his hands on his jeans, he stepped out into the fading light. His fingers fumbled with the cigarette box he kept in his jacket pockets.
He felt nervous. Nervous that they would all demand their money back like every other scheme he conjured. Nervous he would be chased out of town. Nervous he would be found out pretending to be his much smarter twin brother.
As he took a drag from the cigarette, he felt some of the tension leave his shoulders. The relief did not last long. As he stomped on the smoldering ember a car pulled into the empty lot. Then another. And another. A few people coming on foot walking up with Susan at the front.
He felt the judging stares at the state of the house. He was pretty sure he needed to get someone to look at the roof, it probably would leak next rain storm.
Stanley rolled back his shoulders and gave the biggest grin he could as he stepped off the porch.
“Welcome to the Murder Hut…name still in progress.”
The crowd gathered around him as he stood on the top step.
“Everyone here? Everyone got cash? Good. Good.”
He took the offered bills without complaint, his smile becoming a little more genuine as he counted the amount of bills that had piled up in his hand.
“Alright. Step right up, folks, uh, to a world of... enchantment, or whatever.”
Stanley opened the back door cautiously, his palms sweating as he heard all the muttering behind him. Leading into the weird storage room close to the basement was the only plan he had. The rest of the house was trashed, after all, and this was the room with the most scientific junk. Plus, it was a large enough space that he could grow the business.
“Um, step this way. Feast your eyes on scientific wonders that the world has never seen.”
He weaved the crowd through the shelves, looking around for something that would entertain these patrons. He snatched a box off the shelf with two antennas protruding from the top. He spun around and messed with the dial as the tour group gathered around.
“Behold the, uh, nerdy science box.”
The box suddenly gave a spark. Unfortunately, it gave off such a large spark that it hit Susan in the eye.
“Ah! My eye!”
Stan felt his palms sweat more as he scrambled to set the box back on the shelf, “I can assure you that is no way permanent.”
He had no idea if it was, but a medical emergency was not a good idea for the start of his business. If this could become a business.
“I paid fifteen dollars for this!” Susan exclaimed. She had a hand over the eye that was just zapped but Stan could already tell it was puffing up.
The rest of the tour group began to mutter in discontent. The world seemed to be tunneling in on Stanley. If he could not get a steady income plus had the stain of hurting a towns person, he would have to leave town. If he left town, he would never find that second journal. Then Ford would never return.
“Um…uh…” Stan looked around the room with what he hoped was not a too panicked expression. He grabs a skeleton model he had dressed up out of boredom during the cleaning process. It looked like a tourist.
“you're lucky you weren't part of the last tour group,” He spun the skeleton around to reveal it to the group in its gaudy get up, “they never made it out aliiiivve. Heheh. Right?”
The crowd stared at him. He felt his soul be crushed as he tried to think of the quickest route back to Sherman’s place in California. Then Susan laughed.
Her laughter seemed to prompt the rest of the group and Stanely could not help but to join in.
“That’s funny,” Susan said, “Alright, show us what else you got Mystery man.”
“Right this way.”
Maybe he could make this work. He had to. For Ford.

CHAPTER 03: FIRST DAY BACK.
JUST THE WAY THINGS GO || MEGUMI X READER
The sound if your alarm and opening of your windows brought you out of your 3 hour nap you had. To be fair, you went to bed at 10pm yesterday, just randomly woke up.
As your aunt left your room, you finally decided to get up and out of bed, turning off the alarm on your phone and made your way towards your bathroom.
You turned on the tap, letting the cold water run as you debate if you should place your hands under it or not. The feeling of sleep came back as you decided to just splash it on your face, the feeling disappeared as your eyes shut right back open. You stared at your reflection for a bit, sighing as you began to brush your teeth and went back to collect some clothes, bath, then finally exiting your room and made your way into the kitchen.
"You're finally here, eat up we have to leave before 6 hit." Your aunt told you as she held s cup of coffee in her hand.
Your eyes made it to the clock on the microwave and noticed that it was already 5:49am.
"I don't think we're reaching early anytime soon.." You mumbled as she rolled her eyes.
You ate the breakfast she prepared for you and lastly, got your bag and left the house at 5:59am.
──────────────
Others may think you'll be scared to come back, after all you don't really have a great reputation there but you felt normal. There will be others who'll judge you but as long as you stuck to yourself and your friends, nothing will go wrong...
Your eyes looked out the window as the school entered your view and soon got closer with each turn.
"We're here." You're aunt told you as she stopped her car, turning it off.
You came out the car, bag on back as you both walked into the building. You checked the time on your phone and saw that it was now 7:00am. Knowing your friends, not one of them will be here this early, probably Yuuta but you just began to randomly walk around the building, not wanting to go in class as yet.
Without you noticing, a certain brown colored eye noticed you and slowly, they got closer, and closer, until they were right next to you and placed a hand on your shoulder.
The sudden touch frighten you as you jumped a bit when the hand rested on your shoulder, turning around you saw a girl.
She smiled as she removed her hand and began speaking.
"You kinda look new here, no worries I've been where for quite a while now." She said.
"Oh, it's okay, I'm not really new? I've attended this school before just moved away and came back yesterday." You responded.
She nodded and began walking, turning back signaling you to follow.
"I understand but I still wanna show you around!"
You smiled at her excitement, you already got a tour but you will let her do her thing for now.
"My name is Nobara Kugisaki by the way!"
"Nice to meet you Kugisaki."
So much for sticking to yourself.
──────────────
Walking around with Nobara made time flew by without you noticing, it was now 7:58am and more students entered the school, getting to class or meeting up with friends.
To your surprise, no one really noticed you. You thought atleast one or two will point you out.
Maybe the school term won't be that much of a fuss then.
You looked around some more as Nobara kept on talking about whatever she's talking about.
Then your eyes landed on a familiar individual.
Excitement ran through you as you called out their name.
"Maki!" You slightly yelled, causing her to turn in your direction.
Her eyes lit up when she saw you after 2 years but her mouth slightly opened when she noticed who you're with.
With a bit of speed in her step, she began walking towards you but to your surprise, she grabbed you, saying a small goodbye to Nobara and began marching towards the classroom, ignoring your questions.
────────
As you both entered the classroom, you saw that there were others inside, including Yuuta.
He noticed you both and waved, his smile grew as he noticed you.
"Welcome back Y/N! Why is Maki dragging you?" He asked.
"I don't really know why." You answered back, truthfully.
She placed you in her seat as she rested her hag on her desk.
"I'm waiting until Toge is here before I explain why."
"I'm here so explain." His voice appeared right behind her.
We all stared at him as he ran up to you, hands reaching out for a hug as he began squeezing you to death.

OMGG you also like the glamtony theory I'm screaming 👹👹 could you give us more crumbs about that? (btw beautiful drawings AHHH!1!2!1!✨)
Yeah, sure!! Also, thank you <3
There may be a bit of water in the start, forgive me for that.
I think, that the take where Tony dies from Glamrock Freddy has the most evidence. In the patient 46 disks we learn that GGY most likely used animatronics to get rid of therapists. Meaning he was luring therapists to the pizzaplex, and then got rid of them with the help of animatronics.
What Gregory does in the end of GGY? He invites Tony to the pizzaplex.
GGY was also using Glamrock Freddy to stalk Tony throughout the book. It's a pretty obvious hint, that Glamrock Freddy was probably supposed to kill Tony, since GGY used animatronics to kill therapists too. I don't see anything that could tell us otherwise.
Tony was a kid, who was always desiring to solve mysteries, because of what happened to his father in the past. In the end of GGY book everything went down to him, when Gregory and Ellis "ruined" his story he spent so much time and energy on, and then got sent to detention, because he was caught on camera at night. So much happened to him, there's so much to himself too, I don't think he would rest as a soul after death. That's how he could've possess Glamrock Freddy.
I hope i don't have to explain how much hints to Glamrock Freddy being possessed are there.
Also, In my opinion, this theory is mostly carried by how Glamrock Freddy in SB and Tony in GGY act similar to each other.
Small character analysis here. Both can overthink and do (Gregory, in answer, was always shutting them up btw). Both are pretty kind and friendly. Both are quite intelligent and shrewd. Both desire to solve a complicated mystery, and both have sense for dark deeds.
Other than that, there's also some hints in the GGY book itself.
For example, how Tony waved to Freddy thinking he was being friendly, and in answer he just stared blankly at Tony.
But in Security Breach if you stare at Freddy for a bit too long, he'll wave to you the same.
Or how Tony figured that Mary from GGY's pass and Mary Schneider (the missing therapist) could be the same person, similar to how Freddy figured that there is something going on with Vanny and Vanessa.
Speaking of coincidences. Just like Freddy, who's not believing the coincidence with Vanny and Vanessa, Tony, who thought of Gs and Ys in the codes of the Glamrocks, which are most likely connected to GGY, also seems to not like them.
Freddy and Tony are both very aware of what is going on, and know more than it might seem at first glance. It's shown that Freddy is aware of the disappearances and other odd things of the Pizzaplex.
First of all, why would Freddy be in Roxy Raceway in the first place? He also said he thinks that something is wrong. Again, he is aware of something going on, and he most likely tried to investigate it. This just reminds of Tony, who's obsessed with investigating, and hates, if mystery remains unsolved. If he takes on it, he will make it until the end, even if his safety or life depends on it.
There are also some cut voice lines, that I'd like to mention. Even though souls are pretty forgetful, they still can remember something. I'll put these two voice lines as an example:
Regarding the second voice line, it seems that Freddy may have remembered something about GGY and Gregory, before he lost control. He could remember that, because Tony looked through the database in the story:
I should tell you, that most of the evidence i said here i took from one of the creators' own video with explanation of this theory, and she mentioned two other things in her video: eyes and how it fits in with lore. The thing is i doubt on the suitability of the first topic, because the video was posted like a year ago, and the second topic requires separate analysis. So i'll probably leave it there for now.
Sorry for long wait, and sorry for such a long post ;w;

Seb x Reader - Moonlight Kiss pt.2 (AFAB reader)
E rated - NSFW MDNI
___________________________________________
You both pull away from each other, looking into one another's eyes.
"I know I came across as kind of a dick when we first met...I'm sorry." Sebastian moves the hair from out of your face and holds you close.
You enjoy his warmth, snuggling in closer. "Yeah. You were." You giggle. "But it's okay now."
Sebastian chuckles, taking another puff of his cigarette.
"And you should really stop doing that, ya know. You'll get black lungs and die." You death stare him.
Sebastian frowns. "Oh, shut up, you. I know its a bad habit. I'll try and quit. I promise."
You kiss his cheek, sitting up once more, and begin to collect your fishing gear together. "I'm holding you to that."
Sebastian stands up after snuffing out his cigarette and pulls you up with him. "Ya know..." He begins to play with his hoodie strings, sheepishly. "I...I kinda keep having this fantasy...about you."
"Seb. I think we're moving a bit too fast if we're already talking about fatasies!" You laugh and jokingly punch his shoulder.
Seb looks down. "I just wanted to tell you since I can't exactly talk to anyone else about it. Abi would take the piss and Sam is sometimes too naïve to understand." He shrugs.
You walk over to Seb after putting your equipment into a neat pile. "Okay. I'm all ears. And just because you're telling me, doesn't mean I'm going to do anything anytime soon." You gently embrace him, looking into this eyes.
"Okay...so...um. It's..." Sebastian picks you up, throwing you into the fresh water lake, laughing his head off.
Filled with shock, you pop your head up from under the water; a single strand of seaweed on top of your head. "Really, Seb? Really?"
Seb reaches down to grab the seaweed from your head, still laughing. However, you had other plans. You grab his arm and pull him in with you. Sebastian pops his head up; coughing and spluttering.
"You know I hate swimming, you menace." He continues to laugh at you. "And here's the payback for that." Seb splashed the cold water into you, sending a chill down your spine.
You wade over to him and wrap your arms around his neck, holding onto him tightly. "So that's your fantasy, eh?"
Sebastian finds his footing and wraps your legs around his waist. He moves your soaking wet hair from your neck and begins to place a series of gentle kisses. "Almost..." Seb let out low, breathy chuckle which only left you wanting more.
You grab onto his hair, letting out a soft moan. "Seb...what're ya doin...?"
Continuing to kiss your neck, he moves his hands down to your ass. "My fantasy remember..."
"Hey! What are you guys still doing out here?! It's cold and dark! Sebby it's literally 1am!" A familiar female voice called out from around a metre or so away.
Sebastian's eyes widened, clearly being startled from his mum's sudden appearance. "Y-Yeah! Now coming!"
Robin laughed. "Let your new girlfriend sleep in your bed tonight. I'll set you a futon out, Seb. It's too dark to go home now, especially at this time of night. And both of you need to have a shower before heading to bed."
You see Robin's shadow disappear and begin laughing hysterically. "I wonder what she's thinking about us both being in the lake."
"Paha. I doubt she cares. Shes probably just happy about the prospect that I may not be a basement dweller for the rest of my life." Seb replies.
You feel a small blush as butterflies appear in your stomach. He had only just kissed you for the first time, his mum was now calling you his girlfriend, and now he was insinuating that this was going to be a long-term thing. Your head was spinning, trying to take in all this information.
Seb carried you out of the water and popped you back onto your feet on dry ground. "We should probably head inside." He grabs your fishing gear and gives you a warm smile.
"Thank you...and okay." You smile back and take hold of his free hand.
Once you got back into the house, you both dried yourselves off as much as you could with the towels that Robin had left you on her front desk.
"I'll go turn on the shower for you so it's warm. Um...I don't have any girl clothes and my sister is asleep...so I'll lay you some of mine to borrow to sleep in if that's okay." Seb scratches his head.
"Hmm...? Yeah. Thats fine. Thank you."
"Ace. I'll be right back." Seb walks through to go sort out the shower for you.
You grab your phone from your pocket and scroll through social media. Nothing interesting happening as usual. You let out a small sigh.
Sebastian pats you on the head and ruffles your still wet hair. "You okay, little one? The shower's ready for you."
You smile up at him and nod. "Thank you, Sebby." You reply, kissing his cheek. You then walk to the bathroom and get into the hot, steamy shower. Thoughts were running through your head as you washed the algae from your hair. This had all happened so quickly and felt as though it were a fever dream.
After getting clean, you grab the towel Seb had left for you and wrap it around yourself. Only when you were dry did you realise what Seb had left for you to wear. One of his black hoodies and some of his froggy boxers. You sigh and put them on, not being able to complain due to the attempted generosity of your now boyfriend.
As you exit the bathroom, you can hear Sebastian in the kitchen brewing some hot drinks. "Bathroom's free!" You whisper shout to him.
"Okay, thanks, hun. I'll be there in a sec. Head to bed, and I'll meet you down there."
"Alright. Have a nice shower!" You reply as you begin tiptoeing your way down the stairs into Sebastian's bedroom. It was cold in his room, as usual. Even though it was summer, Seb's room still felt drafty. You put this down to being in the basement level of the house. After plugging your phone into one of his spare chargers, you climb under the sheets and get comfy.
You finally felt at peace. You were clean, warm and with the man you loved. You pulled the sheets over your head and nuzzled in. You could smell the musky scent of pine and cigarettes that reminded you of Sebastian so much. Slowly, you began to doze off, cuddling Seb's frog plushie, when all of a sudden you felt someone climb into the tiny single bed with you. You turned around, in your groggy, sleepy state, to see Sebby.
"Heya, hun..." He leans over to kiss your cheek. "Mum left a note saying the futon was in the garage and she didn't wanna wake anyone up, so just to sleep on the sofa...But that's no fun so I'm here if thats okay." He wraps an arm around you and moves one underneath your head.
"Yeah, that's absolutely fine. You can help me keep warm." You tangled your legs with Sebby's to steal more of his warmth. However, as you moved closer to him, you could feel something pressing against your butt. Your eyes widen as you realise exactly what it was.

💛RE anon, here. I mean, I was gonna just say that names fine, but then I read your whole reply and started vibrating into another dimension and muffling my screams because OK OMG OK jealous Blackie, right?! I had this thought the other day. So, this is, again, entirely your fault because even though Freddy turns up in my dreams with…slightly alarming frequency and I’ve written myself so many self-indulgent things in other fandoms over the years, the Robert parts of my brain have been sadly neglected for some time.
Anyway anyway anyway: you know that part where the creepy sheriff is hitting on Fay just before Blackie pays the bribe and does that cute little “I’d like to strangle him” claw thing? The sheriff is being too familiar with the reader/oc or what have you while Blackie is at the register and clear as day I’ve got the image of him coming over and clapping the sheriff on the shoulder a liiiiiiiiittlle too hard. Laughter just a bit forced. Teeth gritted. Nearly growling. “Now, sheriff…reckon you oughta be a little more RESPECTFUL to my wife.” He does the claw while the sheriff gives an oily apology, she feels a sudden pressure on her hand at the same time, looks down to see a ring. The matching one is on the hand Blackie was resting on the counter. Cue the eyebrow raise but she’ll call him on that, later, if he’s through dancing around it.
But, no, he’s not admitting anything. Not Mr nonchalant “oh, I was having so much fun watching you all run I wished you were here. Iced tea?” It goes about like the “you think I’m gorgeous” scene in Miss Congeniality. You know, one with the candy bar of rejection? Rings disappear. He was just being nice because she was uncomfortable. She’s very annoyed. And kinda hurt.
Post attempted firing squad, when he was clearly keeping her behind him, she gets up the nerve again and with the close call it goes like the second “you think I’m gorgeous scene.” With the smooch.
So, after that possibly unhinged digression…which should probably be a warning that when I have time to turn up I’ve been writing too many headcanons…you may also call me the madly inspired anon, if you like. (PS, feel free to answer this on whichever blog you’d prefer. I’ll definitely be checking both.) And for now, I’ll say goodnight 🙋🏼♀️
💛 Madly Inspired Anon!! Thats a beautiful name actually, I'll use that one so long as you like it too! ^^
Y E S Jealous Blackie XDD For my own ideas, I've been on and off considering a fic where reader is another cook or waitress, or maybe a dishwasher or a cleaner, or something at the cafe, and she l i k e s Blackie. Right? And he knows it- she doesn't make any attempt to hide it. She's trying to get him, and he's acting like he's not interested (because, immortal trauma)... b u t, whenever a visitor gets too comfortable with Y/N (And maybe she's liking it- enjoying the attention she's not getting from Blackie) he always swoops in and ruins it for her. And she gets s o f r u s t r a t e d by him she ends up confronting him about it like 'you are acting like my boyfriend but without any of the benefits. if you want me, tell me. if you dont- leave me alone!'. I just cant figure out where that quote comes from though 😅 I know the first part did not come from my head but I cant remember what I scooped it from and I must give credit!!
ANYWAY though- your idea is way better XD And- y e s I know that claw thing XD Here:
I do that myself all the time XD 😂😭 He is my spirit animal.
I'M VIBRATING AT THE IDEA OF BLACKIE GOING FREDDY-EYED (BASICALLY GLOWERING BUT WITH THE POWER OF THE CHARCOAL MAN) AT THE SHERIFF FOR BEING GREASY WITH Y/N AND THEN B R U S H I N G I T O F F, oh my goodness. And, uh, STEPPING IN FRONT OF Y/N DURING THE FIRING SQUAD SCENE!?? OH MY GOODNESS. And Y/N teasing him about it??? Oh my goodness XDD If he doesn't kiss her to make her shut up I'm gonna sue XD
You've given me so much material for before-sleep fictional man fantasies XD

squeezing hand for comfort and encouragement from the hand prompts for syldue (any mermaid arrangement you like!
It's Dedue's turn to be a mermaid! This one is kinda canon-adjacent, you could say?
(Taking MerMay Rarepair prompts until the end of May!)
--
Some part of Sylvain wondered if he should take his clothes off. He had been standing waist deep in the ocean-- still wearing his jacket, shirt, pants, and sandals-- for some time now. The part of him not wondering about his attire was contemplating the orb in his hand.
The orb was made of translucent green glass, with a turquoise gem suspended in the middle. It weighed almost nothing. Sylvain held it up to the morning sun, watching the way the light cast greenish freckles on the still water around him.
"You disapprove," Sylvain stated.
Not far ahead of him, about where the shore dropped off into deeper water, was Dedue. The merman's long, thick tail was teal, with a jagged stripe of orange and yellow scales around his torso where it met brown skin. His white hair was pulled back with a hairtie Sylvain had gifted him back when they first met.
Dedue frowned at Sylvain's words. "I only worry."
"You're good at that."
"You said yourself that this spell from Annette is temporary," Dedue went on, swimming close enough that he had to lay across the sand. "I know you wish to escape the burdens of your crest, but I worry you will forever mourn a life you cannot get back to."
Sylvain lowered the glass orb. "I can just ask Annette to make more. Or a stronger one. Or even a permanent one, if I gave her enough time!" He said it like it was a joke, but he could tell Dedue saw right through him.
"Remember that life in the ocean has its own struggles."
"I know."
"You will be trading crest problems for other ones."
"Yeah, but..." Sylvain moved forward, the water now up to his thighs. He reached out and took Dedue's hand. "The ocean's got you. That's enough for me."
Dedue's steel grey eyes rounded before he let out a warm chuckle. He squeezed Sylvain's hand. "I am not trying to talk you out of this, you understand. There is much I wish to show you under the ocean."
Sylvain grinned. "Can't wait." He knelt in the water, soaking his clothes with a sense of finality. Taking a deep breath of air-- his last for the next 24 hours-- Sylvain clutched the orb in his hand.
It cracked, fractured, and broke. The gem that had be suspended inside grazed Sylvain's palm.
Pain instantly spiked through Sylvain's chest and he gasped, a sharp thing that only hurt him more. His legs cramped horribly. Shutting his eyes tight, Sylvain grit his teeth, back bowing as he tried to hold in another cry. Dedue was speaking to him but none of the words could make it past the pain.
Squeezing Sylvain's hand again, Dedue pulled Sylvain under the waves.
Cool saltwater instantly soothed Sylvain's body. Dedue pulled Sylvain deeper, until the sand disappeared from under them, and Sylvain unfurled.
A sunset orange tail trailed after him. Slack jawed, Sylvain ran his hand across the delicate scales, marveling at the subtle stripes of turquoise just visible when the tail turned the right way. When he turned his tail the right way. Sylvain flipped his tail giddily. It was so easy to control, as if his torso had always ended in a mermaid's tail.
"It worked!" He exclaimed, probably unnecessarily. "Dedue, I can--"
Dedue kissed him. With one hand against Sylvain's lower back, Dedue wrapped his tail around Sylvain's, lacing their fingers together. Usually their kisses caused one of them to be in some awkward position to accommodate the other; Sylvain kneeling in seashells or Dedue craning his neck up. Sea and land weren't meant to fold together neatly.
This was the closest they had ever been to one another. And it was heaven.
Sylvain rest his free hand on Dedue's shoulder, sinking into the kiss. He wasn't sure if the tail tangling part was a typical mermaid thing or Dedue showing relief that the spell worked-- and he didn't care. Sylvain had water in his lungs, a strong hand in his grip, and Dedue over his mouth. Nothing else mattered in that moment.
It was Dedue who pulled away first. He touched his forehead to Sylvain's, uncurling their tails but still holding Sylvain close. "How do you feel?" He asked.
"Better than ever," Sylvain replied, lips still tingling.
"Good." Dedue drew back with a smile. "Then let us be off. The Duscur Sea awaits."

oh man this reminds me, the other day I saw an old Silent Hill Heaven forum thread where people were arguing that the woman in white who gave Harry the baby was actually God, not Alessa. Their argument rested on the basis that God benefits more from reincarnating Alessa, and that Alessa, being dead, wouldn't have had the power to reincarnate herself (a shaky argument at best). Alessa wanted to kill God, and it would have been nonsensical for her to want to be reborn in a body pregnant with God. Therefore, why wouldn't it be God?
...and like. Nobody remembered how, when Heather examines the St. Alessa painting in the belfry, she describes herself as "the me who wanted death and disappeared with God, and the me here and now that sought life." Paraphrasing a bit because YouTube and Google are both crap at pulling up sources, but I know that's a flavor text quote.
SH3 is pretty clear on this. Cheryl was the part of Alessa's being that sought life; the half that manifested in the form of a baby on the road to be raised by a loving father.
Although Alessa may have sought death, Cheryl had other wishes, and that is what Heather is saying. The two halves reunited, and Alessa's original wishes changed because of it. Cheryl may have been the part of the trifecta that recalled Alessa's being to life - therefore Alessa's power was not strictly necessary to reincarnate - and is the part that Alessa seeks to destroy in the Memory of Alessa fight.
It makes sense that Cheryl wouldn't want to leave her father behind in death. The fact that she disappears completely in the Bad+ ending, telling Harry "Goodbye," should indicate that she had not completely disappeared in the Good+ and Good endings. Because otherwise she would have just vanished altogether.
The forum users argued that Harry's words are not reliable, but I'd have to disagree. While he might not have been privy to the exact workings of God and Alessa's powers, he seems to be pretty reliable in reporting what he does perceive. "The newly-born God wailed once and was dead... All from [Cheryl's] - and probably Alessa's - conscious resistance."
Not to mention, we should probably give Harry more credit. He's pretty astute, maybe even more than he should be given his circumstances. Despite having gone through the entire ordeal of Silent Hill while questioning his sanity, he was able to correctly deduce, or at least sense: 1.) The fact that the Otherworld is overwriting reality and not just transporting him into a parallel world, (which would be nigh-impossible to determine, given how often his mind shuts down and makes him pass out while processing the shift)
2.) God's presence. According to his memo in Alessa's room, he senses a "sickening" presence beyond the door, and correctly deduces that it is God. 3.) The fact that Alessa wasn't a demon, despite Dahlia's lies, and may have been seeking help instead, 4.) The fact that Heather is a reincarnation of Cheryl, even if he doesn't exactly understand how the process works,
and 5.) That Aglaophotis is a demon-warding poultice and Heather would someday need it.

stepbrother!ari is fingering you from under the blanket you both share at movie night with your stepmother/stepfather 💦
well since most of the fic is set in the frat house, this would be in the middle of a movie night with the rest of the guys 😳😳
consider this a snippet for the fic !! It’ll definitely be a scene 🤩
Lloyd exhales heavily as another quiet whimper sounds from beside him. He keeps his eyes locked on the screen, and digs his nails into the worn leather of the couch.
It didn’t take a genius to know what was going on, and admittedly, he may have hinted at touching you during the movie to Ari, and your stepbrother being the jealous prick he is, claimed that sweet spot between you thighs twenty minutes into the movie.
Your knee knocks his once more and he turns to you. Briefly admiring the sweat kissing your hairline, and the swollen flesh of your lips as your teeth gnaw ruthlessly. Your eyes flutter shut and your breath picks up, as does the dull motions under the blanket.
“You okay, duck?”
Your eyes shoot open as your bones stiffen, terrified, you look up at him. “Huh?”
“Are you okay?” He reaches out to touch your forehead. “You’re a little warm, pumpkin, you getting sick?”
“It was probably Steve, he always gets sick around this time of year.” Andy slouches back, his legs spreading wide enough to nudge Ari. “And she did sleep in his room while you were gone.”
Across the room, the blond flips him off and blows his nose into a tissue.
“Poor baby, maybe you should take off this blanket—”
“No!” All gazes fall on you, the movie long forgotten as you cling to the fabric with a trembling frame. “N-No thank you… I’m okay.”
“Nonsense.” Lloyd yanks it again.
“She said no.” Ari shoves away his hand. “Leave her alone.”
Lloyd rolls his eyes. “You know, we had lots of fun while you were gone. Duck here got real comfortable walking around here in almost nothing.”
You don’t dare to meet your stepbrother’s eyes, and try to desperately forget all the touching, the way the guys would brush past you and sneak a hand up your (it was one of theirs actually, but you don’t know who) t-shirt. Without Ari here to do your laundry, you ran out of panties quickly—it was like they were disappearing into thin air.
“Is that why you don’t wanna move the blanket, honey?” Curtis raises a brow. “You forgot to put panties on again?”
You whine as his fingers press deep, a wispy moan escaping your sealed lips.
“You missed out, Ari, dummy baby couldn’t figure out how to use the washing machine… waltzed around here showing off her cute little cunt.” Lloyd taunts. “Even let me have a taste, right where you’re sitting actually. And now I know why you’re plugging her up right now—that pussy makes an awful mess…”

mission accomplished [ scaramouche x reader ]
twenty-five | viktor and yun jin
prev masterlist next
as the plot thickens with a new victim, you were dead set to catch viktor stepanov, once and for all. you didn't know this would end up way different than what you had imagined.
warnings: use of scaramouche's, childe's and signora's real name, death and killing mentions, breaking in, kinda fluffy in the middle, kidnapping¿, very suspenseful at the end (i think)
a/n: i'm incredibly sorry for the long delay of this chapter, been a bit busy last weekend. but it's here now, and i hope everyone enjoys the suspense as we're nearing the end of the series. 7k+ words. 90% proofread so please lmk if i've gotten anything wrong.
grammatical errors may occur so please let me know if i've made any mistakes!
“so…” you started, hurriedly scanning your eyes to your surroundings, checking if someone was near you. seeing that no one was in sight, you continued. “what do you want to talk about?”
childe cleared his throat on the other line. “we found a new victim.” he dropped, causing you to let out a short gasp.
it had been… how long now?
two months. it's been two months since you've last heard of a new victim, and now the killing is happening again.
wait, but…
“but viktor's been with me the whole morning? i don't understand.”
“anastasia obolensky. familiar with the name?”
you took a moment to think, recalling where you had heard of the name. if memory serves you right, that'd be…
“the university's chancellor?”
childe hummed. “she was found dead at her home this morning.” he informed, and you gripped your phone a little tighter.
going for the higher ups of the campus? you wondered to yourself. isn't that too far?
anastasia was one of the campuses most respected chancellors, and had contributed a lot to snezhnaya university. if word got out that she's dead, who knows what hell would break loose.
but viktor… he has been with you all night, right? would that even make sense for him to head out and kill people whilst being drunk?
“i don't understand.” you replied, still in disbelief. “he's been with me all night.”
“what were you two doing?”
“well, it was actually the four of us.” you awkwardly let out a chuckle, causing childe to usher you further on the information. “him, yun jin, scara and i. yunjin invited us to dinner, they got drunk, bla bla bla, you know the basics.” you didn't bother fixing him up with the details. knowing childe, he probably knew the rest of it already due to experience.
you peered over your surroundings once again, this time trying to find a seat. you walked over to a small park bench once you've caught glimpse of it, relishing a sigh of relief after standing for so long.
after a moment, you continued. “anyways, i don't think he'd have the time to go out and kill people. i stayed up for an hour or two after they passed out, trying to clean up everyone's mess. if he had gone out, i'd have noticed it right away.”
“what time did you sleep?”
“around twelve or one, why?” you asked.
“report says that the estimated time she was killed was at two in the morning.”
widening your eyes, you left your mouth agape. so he went out after you were asleep?
you shook your head. “no, wait, this is confusing me.” you replied, squeezing your eyes shut before opening them once again. “he passed out after a couple of drinks, there's absolutely no way he'd wake up in less than an hour after that. i remember him telling me that he couldn't hold his liquor well.”
“also.” you continued, already scoffing at the thought. “where the hell have you been?! you can't just disappear on me for two months and then finally show up just to tell me someone's dead!” you shouted into the phone, resulting in childe wincing at the tone of your voice.
he sighed, and you heard sounds of rummaging in the background. “i'm sorry, y/n. i still can't disclose the details to you.”
“what details?” you asked coldly. “what the fuck are you doing around behind my back?”
childe groaned. “look, it's nothing that you should be concerned about. just… focus on your case right now, i'll tell you once everything's calmed down.”
“what?” you questioned further. “you're not doing dirty work now are you, ajax? you know i hate those kinds of people. i'm gonna fucking kill you when i get back.”
childe chuckled from the other line. “of course not, y/n. i'd get fired if i'm working with people that aren't from the department.” he said.
from the tone of his voice, it seemed that childe was telling the truth. but somehow, you don't trust him, not even a single bit.
it's the first time that's ever happened to you.
on most occasions, you fully trust childe. you had never doubted his words, because he was always telling the truth, and never once broke a promise. he is one of your best friends after all, you'd never doubt him.
you still remember the day you two promised each other to never go behind each other's backs, and to always go to one another for help, no matter how dire the situation is.
but now, you had an inkling that he had just broken that pact. for whatever reason, you wouldn't know, and not that you would pry on it either.
you'll just have to confront him once the case ends, whenever that is.
sighing, you changed the subject. “so? what do i have to do now? this is his seventh victim, i think.” you said. “i can't just let him get away with this.”
“have you… ever considered looking for other suspects?”
you blinked. “are you telling me that viktor has accomplices?”
“most serial killers need accomplices to continue on with their crimes, sometimes they're also just cover ups for the actual serial killer.” childe informed.
you hummed, thinking of the possible accomplices he could have at the moment.
to be honest, you've never really seen him hang out with anyone during your stakeout times, and have never seen him interact with people other than yun jin.
“wait.” you blinked once again, the cogs in your brain turning. “you're not suggesting it's yun jin, are you?”
childe merely chuckled. “you'll never really know unless you look further into it. anyone who is close to him can be possible suspects or accomplices.”
“but yun jin is innocent. i see her every other day, and the killings never happened during the night before our classes together, unlike viktor, when all of the victims were found the day we do have classes together.” you countered, defending your dear friend.
there was no way a sweet person like her could be someone looking out for blood.
childe shrugged, but stopped when he realised he was talking to you over the phone, opting to let out a huff instead. “like i said, you'll never know unless you look further into it. it could be anyone at this point, and i'm also sure you're smart enough to figure everything out.” he tried convincing, and you took a moment to make a decision.
“...fine. i'll look into it.” you finally decided, heaving out a breath soon after. “i'll see you after i'm done with this case. don't do stupid shit while i'm not there.”
hanging up the call, you stared at your phone screen, looking at your call history. you don't really call people much, well, not that you have that many contacts saved in the first place. childe's name, ajax was at the top, as you had just hung up on him a second ago.
the second one was yun jin from a few days ago, when she had forgotten to turn off the oven and asked for you to do it for her.
the third was from viktor, when he was asking you if you could write up some notes from mass communication class since he was absent on that day.
the fourth was signora, or as you had saved her name, rosalyne. she had face-timed you around a month ago to check up on you after your fight with scaramouche, along with the incident from the night before.
the last one that was visible on your screen was the one and only scaramouche, who's name is written in red, meaning that you didn't pick up his call the time he had dialed for your number.
it was the first and only time he's ever called you after the fight happened. you didn't bother picking up his call, nor did you even bother blocking him. knowing scaramouche, he's not exactly someone to be on his phone that much, so you don't think it was any use to block him anyways.
and you were right, he never bothered you after that.
though you won't deny that sometimes, you kinda wished his name would pop up on your screen.
you still had his name saved as scara, the name you had always called him since forever. you thought of changing the contact name after finding out his real name, but you didn't have the time to do so, definitely not after everything.
a smile ghosted your face as you clicked on his contact information, the picture of you and him from a few months back on display as his profile. hovering your fingers over your screen, you made some adjustments to his contact details.
“what're you smiling at?”
snapping your head upwards, you look at the person who approached you, who turned out to be viktor.
you quickly widened your eyes, standing up abruptly. “o–our class finished already?!”
viktor shrugged, slinging his bag over his shoulder properly. “it was only a thirty-minute class since it isn't from our usual schedule. what took you so long?” he asked.
“oh…” you flickered your eyes elsewhere, gripping your phone to your side. “a friend called me, and i kinda got distracted, haha…” you muttered awkwardly, rubbing the back of your neck.
the tall brunette looked at you skeptically, before sighing. “i can give you the notes later. i have to run to the psychology department right now though, i have class soon.” he informed, and you turned your head to look at him.
“thanks…” you mumbled. “i'll uh, i'll head to yun jin's dorm then. see you?”
“yeah, see you later.”
you watched as viktor walked away, heading towards his destination. sighing, you brought up your phone to look at the screen once again.
the picture on display as scaramouche's profile had changed. now, it was a picture you had taken with him the night before the incident occurred, the one at the balcony.
although the picture you took was in a rush, you could still see most of it clearly. it was a selfie of you and scaramouche, you had one hand holding your phone, the other holding up a peace sign over scaramouche's head, presenting them as bunny ears.
and even though scaramouche was forced to take this picture, he reluctantly followed suit, a soft smile plastered on his face, one that was only presented to you. one of his hands was holding onto the railing of the balcony, the other wrapped on the side of your waist.
smiling giddily once again, you stared into the picture for the next few seconds, before flickering your eyes to the contact name, that was also changed earlier.
the name is now changed to the one you had heard just recently, the one that he had buried deep within him, the one that he never revealed to anyone, except for you.
kunikuzushi.
with a purple heart beside it.
you've convinced yourself the emoji you had added was only for aesthetic purposes. no other reason behind it whatsoever.
stepping inside yun jin's dorm, you peered over the living room, that is now all cleaned up, all thanks to you. if it weren't for your work last night, this place would be a total mess, with bottles of beer and vodka scattered throughout the small area.
you landed yourself on the small couch, staring up at the ceiling.
it was a thursday, meaning that you had no classes for the day. scaramouche and viktor would have their psychology class by now, you figured.
you're not sure if yun jin has gotten home or not, so you decided to stand up, sauntering over to her room.
you knocked on her door a couple of times. “yun jin? you there?”
no response came.
“yun jin?”
again, no response.
you huffed, hand on the knob. though when you brought it back to your side, you accidentally twisted the doorknob, causing the door to open slightly.
raising a brow, you looked at the door confusedly. huh, she didn't lock her door, you think as you peeked through the small gap between the door and door frame.
you know this might sound crazy, borderline creepy even, but you felt like investigating yun jin's room. sure, you had entered it just last night to take care of both yun jin and viktor, but you didn't have the time to look at her room properly, given how it was late and you had other things to do, such as taking care of scaramouche.
furrowing your brows in contemplation, you recalled back to your and childe's conversation from an hour ago.
“you'll never really know unless you look further into it. anyone who is close to him can be possible suspects or accomplices.”
well, it wouldn't hurt to just take a quick look, no? you asked yourself.
you supposed it would be for a good cause. seeing how long this case is taking to end, you would do anything to solve it.
and if it meant sneaking into your friend's room, then so be it.
yun jin's room looked exactly like what most fashion students' rooms would look like, except for the fact that she's a criminology student.
you stood in the middle of the room, scanning your eyes to every single detail of her room. papers that were sketched out with designs scattered throughout the room, with some plastered on the wall, some placed on her desk, some on the floor, and whatnot.
it wasn't anything bizarre nor uncommon to you. maybe it was due to the fact that your old roommate from a few years back was also an art student, pursuing their passion in painting. to say that their painting supplies were clumsily placed everywhere would be an understatement.
and honestly, it shocked you how yun jin did not pick fashion design as her major, not even as her minor, too.
what could possibly be so interesting about criminology that she'd just throw away her passion in fashion design?
you scoffed at the thought. it was hypocritical of you to say such a thing, when you yourself were exactly the same when you were her age. your love for wanting to become a police officer had overthrown every other interest you had, leading to you choosing criminology as your major, and soon landing yourself in the police academy the second you graduated.
yet, you had no regrets, for if you didn't choose criminology, you wouldn't have gotten into the police academy, if you didn't choose criminology, you wouldn't have gotten your dream job in the most prestigious precint, and if you didn't choose criminology, you wouldn't be standing here today, working on a big case.
sighing, you continued on with your investigation in yun jin's room.
this is not the time to be pondering on useless topics.
—
after what felt like an eternity, you practically gave up on searching around her room. no evidence nor leads in sight. there was absolutely nothing that you should take note of, let alone be suspicious.
you think this was a waste of time.
sighing, you turned to head towards the door, before stopping yourself in front of a corkboard that was plastered on the wall near the bed.
the corkboard in particular did not catch your eye, however, the pictures that were pinned there did.
it was a picture of yun jin, and someone beside her, hugging yun jin tightly at a restaurant. the young woman was around her age, and you figured they were close, given hoe the picture is on the corkboard. though, the details wasn't what piqued your interest.
you recognised that face.
but somehow, you couldn't pinpoint it.
the polaroid beside it caught your attention too.
it was yun jin with two other women now, with yun jin being in the middle, hugging the others at what you assumed was at a park, dated a few months ago, as what it had been written on the white frame of the polaroid.
once again, you recognised those two faces, yet you couldn't figure out how you did, or where you have seen those faces.
there were other pictures pinned on the corkboard, and most of the people in the pictures made you realise that you quite literally recognised each and every one of them, which made everything more confusing than it already is.
how did you recognise these people?
where have you even seen them?
have they gotten arrested before for you to be familiar with their faces?
your thoughts were cut off when a notification came in from your phone, causing you to fish it out from the pocket of your pants to read the new notification.
yun jin
hey luna!
sorry but i might arrive home late today
please don't wait for me! >-<
you smiled at the messages she sent, momentarily forgetting about the familiar faces you saw earlier.
it's fine, take your time! ||
sighing for the umpteenth time that day, you shoved your phone back into your pocket, walking away from the corkboard until you reached the halls, closing yun jin's door shut.
the last picture in the corner of the corkboard went unnoticed by you, which had a photo of yun jin and the chancellor of snezhnaya university, anastasia obolensky, eating out together.
you hated how awfully silent the dorm is right now.
it was currently late at night, and yun jin still hasn't gotten home. you didn't mind it of course, yun jin is a grown-up, and you're not someone who had the authority to keep her away from doing things, but you always enjoyed yun jin's company.
she was always someone who could make the whole room light up, she was someone who could brighten up someone's day, and she's one of the few people who knew about your problems with scaramouche.
so with her being absent in this dorm makes the atmosphere really… dull.
you had spent the evening eating some takeout as dinner, too lazy to even get up and cook up something in the kitchen. if scaramouche were to hear about this, he would've whipped out a full course meal, nagging at you for eating unhealthy and greasy food.
the thought made you let out a few laughs, remembering how scaramouche would always cook up food for you, no matter what circumstances may arise.
as your laughter died down, you bit your bottom lips, before shaking those thoughts off your head.
this is definitely not the time to be thinking about him.
you were in your room at the moment, sitting at your desk as you had just finished doing some work around ten minutes ago. you had been cleaning up your desk for the rest of it, decluttering the many papers on the wooden surface.
a brown a4 sized envelope tucked in your mess on the desk caught your attention.
you picked it up from between the files on your desk, opening the manilla up. a set of pictures and other written details were inside, making you recall back to when scaramouche had given you this the other day as you took out the contents.
“everything in that envelope are new evidence i've gotten, and all of it leads to a whole different person.”
right, you haven't gotten the time to check out the new evidence scaramouche had gotten, from where, you don't even want to question. it's not like he'd ever give you the answer anyways.
the first photo that greeted you was a picture of a wooden cabin, the least of evidence you had expected.
why is there a picture of a cabin? was this mixed up by accident?
you furrowed your brows, ignoring the picture as you continued looking at the next few papers in hand. they however seemed as though to be completely useless, as they were only printed details on the purchase of the cabin, with receipts and purchase history.
though, you stopped when you read the name of the bank account's transaction history.
you blinked once, twice, before scanning your eyes on the paper once again, reading each and every syllable there is, in sheer disbelief with what you're looking at right now.
----------------------------------------------------------
snezhnaya bank
yun jin
date: 11/17
description: cabin in the woods
withdrawal: XXXX
----------------------------------------------------------
you widened your eyes.
no.
impossible.
you flipped through the other papers in hand, scanning your eyes and stopped every time you see the same name, over and over again.
what?
did viktor rope yun jin into buying stuff under her account to avoid himself from being caught?
“most serial killers need accomplices to continue on with their crimes…”
you groaned in frustration at the conversation with childe from earlier that played in your mind.
there was no way the ever so innocent yun jin, would be an accomplice to viktor's crimes, especially when she was so passionate about becoming a police officer.
you tossed the papers on the table, pinching the bridge of your nose as you grumbled.
this is giving you a headache.
and you're sure as hell viktor had snuck behind her back to purchase a random cabin in the woods. it's not her doing.
yun jin was still nowhere to be found in the dorm the next day.
you figured she slept over at viktor's dorm, given how she'd do that occasionally. though, she'd usually inform you first, but the last thing she did was leave your text message on read, which was yesterday.
you didn't bother on messaging her, seeing how you have a criminology class together. you'll just ask her later on.
but it became a problem when yun jin didn't show up to class.
your professor had just dismissed your class, yet yun jin still hasn't shown up, making you worried. where could she possibly be to miss out on class?
for the duration of your time being friends with her, she has never, ever, skipped class. no matter how busy she was, she'd always make time to show up to class, even if it was only for a few minutes. so for her to skip class was something unusual, especially to you.
she probably overslept, right?
you grabbed your phone and clicked on yun jin's contact name, hitting the call icon. but after a moment, it went to voicemail.
you raised a brow. strange. she always answers her calls, no matter the situation.
huffing, you clicked on viktor's contact name and called him next, and once again, it went to voicemail after a few seconds of waiting.
you can't be serious, you thought to yourself.
did they both oversleep?
sure, it is understandable that it could be pretty hard to wake up early, especially for a class that starts at eight in the morning, but can't they even hear their ringtones ringing throughout the room? unbelievable.
and to make things worse, someone plopped on a seat beside you, causing you to turn your head to look at them. once you did, you yelped.
“w–what… what are you doing here?!”
scaramouche merely rolled his eyes, before placing a plastic container full with food in front of you on the table. the action made you raise a brow in confusion as you stared at the lunch box.
you looked at him again. “what's… this for?” you asked confusedly.
“you're really stupid, huh.” the sudden jab of insult as his first words to you made you glare at him. “we share the same food delivery account, remember? i saw you buying takeout last night.”
you still had a perplexed look plastered on your face, making scaramouche turn his head elsewhere, too embarrassed to look at you in the eye as he mumbled out his next words.
“i… made extra food this morning. i didn't want them to go to waste, so i'm giving them to you.” he nervously said, cheeks burning up. “d-don't think i did this willingly! i just didn't want to waste the leftovers!” he exclaimed.
as he finished his sentence, your confused expression slowly changed, and before you know it, you're hugging scaramouche.
burying your face to the crook of his neck, you smiled. “thank you, kuni! i've kinda been craving for your home-cooked meals for a while now.” you muttered, voice muffled as you wrapped your arms around him tighter.
scaramouche was taken aback for a few seconds, before he hesitantly reciprocated your hug, engulfing you with his arms. you two stayed like that for a moment, until you slowly detach yourself from him.
“do you…” you stopped yourself before you could even finish your sentence. no, you shouldn't do that, not after what happened the other day. “ah, nevermind.” you mumbled.
you don't want him to have high hopes for this... whatever relationship you two have right now. it's just too risky, especially now, when you both are burdened by the big conflict that is the incident.
“spit it out.”
you widened your eyes in shock. “what?”
“did you not hear me?” his grip on your waist tightened as he brought you closer. “go ahead and spit it out. now.” he repeated, words venomous.
you blinked, confused as to why he was acting so bold all of the sudden, when he was quite the embarrassed mess just a second ago.
scratching your temple, you reluctantly continued on with what you were gonna say, as scaramouche watched you with narrowed eyes.
“well, do you, uh, want to...eat this together?”
eyes wide, scaramouche was, shocked to say the least. even if he was the one who insisted you to continue on with your sentence.
scaramouche quickly turned his head sideways to hide the blush on his cheeks, causing you to gaze at him confusedly.
the ravenette slowly nodded. “that…that'd be nice, i guess.”
you did not expect this to be the most awkward moment you've ever had with scaramouche.
hell, you didn't even expect to be back at his, no, your shared dorm.
you and scaramouche were on the small couch, the lunch box sitting on your lap just nicely.
to say that you were too scared to make the first move would be an understatement.
“aren't you gonna eat that?” scaramouche was the one to break the deafening silence.
you twisted your head to look at him. “well, i uh…” turning your head back to stare at the container on your lap, you slowly grabbed it, opening up the rectangle-sized container in hand.
utensils were already there as a set of the lunch box, and the sight of the cooked meal before you made your mouth drool in delight. the aroma of his home-made meal made you want to munch it all up more than anything right now.
you picked up a spoon, and quickly shoved it in the food before picking it up once again, bringing the utensil to your mouth, swallowing the delicious meal.
you sighed in contentment, the food tasted heavenly, just like every other meal scaramouche has made. you won't deny that you had missed this, missed his very delicious meals, missed the way he'd always cook up extras for you, and definitely missed the way he'd always look at you with a fond look as you tried out his meals.
you glanced at him, and without a doubt— scaramouche still had that same expression plastered on his face, looking at you so fondly as you had your first bite of the meal he made.
picking up a spoonful of food once again, this time, you brought it over to the front of scaramouche's closed mouth, your other hand beneath his chin.
“what the hell are you doing?”
“you said you wanted to eat together.”
“i didn't say that. you did.”
you grumbled. “okay, sure, but you were the one who said ‘it'd be nice’, so i'm just doing what you agreed upon.” you insisted, resulting in scaramouche's cheeks to flare up once again.
the ravenette was about to say something when you suddenly shoved the spoonful of food into his mouth, leaving him no choice but to eat the meal you had fed him. after the spoon was empty, you brought it back to the container on your lap, scaramouche taking a few seconds to swallow up the food in his mouth.
“tastes good?” you asked.
scaramouche quickly looked away, the tips of his ears turning red. “it– it's my cooking, obviously it'd taste divine.”
you scoffed, picking up the spoon to eat the rest of the meal.
what a stupid guy, you thought to yourself.
the afternoon continued on with you eating the meal scaramouche has made whilst talking with the ravenette, occasionally feeding him a spoonful once in a while. you absolutely paid no attention to the relentless refusals of his, saying that 'he has his own hands to feed himself', yet still accepting the meal you spoon-fed him.
“can't you stay longer?”
you sighed, shaking your head as you stood at the front door.
it was almost evening now, and you two were currently standing by the front door of his dorm, ready to part ways.
you don't think either of you were ready.
“just for the night? it's getting late.”
you shook your head once again. “sorry, kuni. i have to head back to yun jin's to check up on her, she hasn't gotten home since yesterday.” you said, eyes looking into his indigo ones. “i might have to visit viktor's dorm too to see if yun jin's there.”
“viktor?”
“yeah, why?”
“it's just that...he wasn't in class yesterday.”
your forehead wrinkled in confusion. “what do you mean?”
scaramouche shrugged. “i didn't see him during class the other day. he'd always insist on sitting next to me whenever we had class together, but he wasn't there.”
“that's… strange.” you commented, twisting the doorknob. “i'll have to check up on them at their dorms.”
scaramouche stopped you, hand grabbing your wrist, causing you to flicker your eyes to him. “i'll accompany you.”
you shook your head for the third time that night, making scaramouche furrow his brows.
“no, you should stay here. i'm sure they're just busy with whatever they're doing right now.”
“but what if you get in danger?”
sighing, your free hand reached out to grab his hand that was holding your wrist. “look, i'll… call you when i get home, okay? just to assure you that i'm fine.” you caressed his knuckles, hoping that'd ease out whatever worry he had in mind.
scaramouche huffed, looking down to the floor.
“okay...fine.”
you smiled, holding his hand as you opened the door. stepping out to the halls, you turned to look at him for the last time that evening.
“then, i'll get going now.”
“but…”
you rolled your eyes playfully, amused with the expression scaramouche had right now. he was pouting, hand holding onto yours tightly, as if he really didn't want you to go.
“i'll be fine, kuni. stop worrying about me.”
“promise you'd call me?”
you smiled, nodding as you do so. “yeah, sure, i'll call you.”
before you even got the chance to walk away, scaramouche engulfed you in a hug, knocking the breath out of your lungs.
he wrapped his arms around your figure, just like he did earlier this morning. you grumbled, but reluctantly did the same, hugging him with your bundle of layers of clothes and jacket.
you were the one to pull away first, hands falling to your sides. scaramouche however, still had his arms wrapped around your hips, causing you to blink up at him. scaramouche made no move to remove his hold from you.
“hm? is there anything else that i forgot?” you asked, referring to him still holding you.
scaramouche looked like he was in deep thought, given how he did not bother answering your question with his words.
but after a second, he answered you with his actions instead.
the hurried movement made your eyes widen, as you hesitantly brought up a hand to brush over your forehead, the spot he had just left a quick peck. it was only for a fleeting second.
did he just… kiss your forehead?
flustered, you quickly snapped your head to him, wanting to say something before it died in your throat, as the sight of scaramouche's flushed face greeted you.
even though it was a simple gesture, it still made you… shy and awkward. you've never really gotten a forehead kiss before, especially by someone like him, so for scaramouche to do such a thing would be a total shock to you.
you still remembered when he'd never fail to jab at you with his insults and degrading words, and you still remembered when you'd always reply back with snarky remarks just to spite him back.
but right now, you two were way far from being enemies. you don't even think you two are friendly colleagues at this point, because you're absolutely sure this is not something that co-workers do with each other.
co-workers wouldn't hug each other at the most random times, co-workers don't give you extra home-cooked meals, co-workers don't feed each other food, co-workers don't share the same food delivery account.
and co-workers definitely do not kiss you on the forehead as a goodbye gesture.
the moment was unfamiliar, yet you had a feeling it'd be engraved in both of your minds tonight, or until forever, even.
“be safe, y/n.”
“...yeah. i'll see you later, kuni.”
you left your shared dormitory with a fond smile, and flushed cheeks. the warmth of his lips still lingered around the spot on your forehead, making you ten times more flustered than anyone else in the building.
and scaramouche had the same embarrassed expression once he closed the front door, leaning against it as he hovered a hand over his mouth, in disbelief with what he just did a second ago.
the trip back to yun jin's and viktor's dorm building was quicker than you thought, and before you knew it, you were already in front of viktor's door.
you heaved out a sigh.
you've never gone inside viktor's dorm, so this would be a first. would a serial killer's dorm look the same as your average-college-guy dorm?
the answer is just right behind this door.
readying yourself, you built up the courage to finally knock on the door, waiting for it to open.
and when the door finally opened, someone… unfamiliar greeted you instead.
“huh? d'ya need anything?” the stranger asked, making you sweat. you don't remember viktor having a roommate.
“is uh, is viktor here? i need to see him.”
the stranger raised a brow. “that weird guy?” they asked, pointing a finger towards the dormitory beside him. “his dorm is that one. think you got the wrong place.”
“oh.”
you bowed down profusely. “s–sorry! i thought it was this one!”
the stranger laughed. “'s fine. go on now, i got a show to catch up.” they said, closing the door.
groaning, you smacked your forehead in embarrassment. archons, how did you even got it mixed up?
you sauntered over to the dorm the stranger had pointed out, heaving out yet another sigh.
well, here goes nothing.
knocking on the door once again, you waited for viktor.
yet no one opened the door.
you frowned, knocking on the door once again.
and yet again, no response.
surely, they'd be up by now, right? there was no way they were still asleep.
you fished out your phone from your jacket to dial his number, and waited for him to pick up the call.
it went straight to voicemail.
“what in teyvat…” you mumbled, looking at your phone screen. you clicked on yun jin's contact details, and called her.
it also went straight to voicemail.
“you've gotta be fucking kidding me.”
you snapped your head to stare at the door, contemplating with what you're about to do right now.
it's okay, you assured yourself. this is for the case, there's absolutely nothing wrong with trying to break into your suspect's dorm.
you held your guard up, and grabbed onto the knob of the door, crouching down until you were face to face with the lock.
you've had your fair share of practice at picking locks, so this wouldn't be a hassle for you.
you quickly rummaged your bag for a paper clip, and once you found it, you looked to your left and right, making sure no one was in sight, before averting your attention back to the lock.
yet as you twisted the doorknob by accident, it opened.
“it's… it's unlocked?”
you stood up properly, pushing the door.
the dark living room greeted you, with no signs of viktor nor yun jin whatsoever. you raised an eyebrow as you reached for the switches on the wall beside you, and when the lights finally turned on, the empty room still greeted you.
you scanned through the room confusedly. where the hell are they?
quickly walking over to one of the closed doors in the dorm, you twisted it open, and yet another empty, dark room laid in front of you.
the other room was empty too, yun jin and viktor were nowhere to be found.
you scratched your head. where could they be?
are they at yun jin's dorm?
—
but as you entered yun jin's dorm after that, you were still greeted with silence, no sign of them occupying those two dorms, which made everything more confusing than it already is.
are they out watching a movie?
no, impossible. yun jin would have notified you further.
are they having a date?
no, she also would have notified you earlier, and she wouldn't have her phone turned off.
so, where were they?
sitting at the dinner table in yun jin's dorm, you took a moment to think. maybe they're at either of their parents'? you thought to yourself, shifting your eyes from your lap to the wooden surface of the table.
a piece of paper there caught your eye.
huh, that was never there before.
picking it up, you quickly scanned your eyes over the paper, and a small note was written there.
find me, before it's too late.
your eyes went wide as you read the short message, gripping onto the paper tight.
what did the message mean? find me? where?
and what did it mean before it's too late?
is… yun jin in danger?
you quickly got up, scrambling to your feet to piece the puzzles together. you fished out for your phone once again to call yun jin.
the familiar melody of yun jin's ringtone rang in the dorm, and you twisted your head to the living room, eyeing her phone on the coffee table as you quickly walked over to pick it up.
impossible. you were sure her phone wasn't here the last time you were sitting on this very couch, which was just last night.
did she come back here while you were gone, and left her phone here?
shit. you placed her phone back on the coffee table. she's definitely in danger.
you hurriedly made your way to the front door.
find me… you repeated the same words over and over again as you headed out to the halls, slamming the front door shut.
find where? where can you find her?
yun jin's and viktor's dorms are empty, so they would be crossed out from the list of possible places you could find her.
you sweat, the thought of yun jin being in danger frightened you. is viktor really going as far as to harm her girlfriend just for the sake of luring you in his trap?
wait.
does he know you were a cop?
and if he does, does that mean your cover is blown?
you gritted your teeth. no way. you had done everything in order to not get your cover exposed, so how in teyvat did he even figure it out?
you ran down the halls, heading towards the elevator. once the elevator doors closed, you continued on piecing the puzzle.
find me.
find me.
find. me.
your eyes widened upon realisation.
as the elevator dinged and slowly opened its doors, you hurriedly ran outside, before forgetting that your car was still at the workshop, meaning that you had no transportation to get there quick.
groaning, you think of another solution to quickly get to your destination.
a light bulb popped over your head, but was dismissed when you let out a sigh. no, you shouldn't trouble scaramouche by driving you there.
hell, you don't even want him to know that yun jin and viktor were gone, and that you couldn't find them.
you grumbled frustratingly. there's no other way.
viktor's frat house isn't that far off from campus, and you haven't ran in a while.
surely this quick trip would strengthen your muscles.
as you almost reached your destination, you were already out of breath.
archons, you've forgotten how tiring running would be, especially when you haven't worked out in so long.
with ragged breaths, you made your way towards viktor's frat house. you had left your bag back in the dorms, along with your bundle of scarves and layered clothes, so that you wouldn't have to carry so much stuff on you. and yet without any of those distractions, you were still tired as ever for running such a long distance in a time span of five minutes. you don't even have an ounce of idea how that's possible, but what's important is that you made it here in time.
once you reached the doorstep, you paid no mind to even think if the door was unlocked as you swiftly twisted the doorknob, causing the door to open. you were thankful that you didn't have to pry out yet another paper clip, if you had one with you in the first place.
the sullen interior of the frat house greeted you.
you turned on the lights, heading towards the living room.
if you remember correctly, viktor had a hidden basement somewhere in the living room. you stood in the middle of the area, peering over your surroundings until you finally saw the hidden basement in the corner of the room.
the rug that was covering the plank was already flipped, just enough access for someone to open up the plank to the basement.
you raised a brow.
so they really are here.
you breathed in deeply, before exhaling.
this is it, you think. it's time for you to save yun jin.
without any weapons whatsoever.
you grumbled. you really weren't prepared for this, huh.
it's fine, you thought to yourself. your never ending physical combat trainings back in the police academy would do you justice.
pulling up the plank, you eyed the entrance down to the basement, a ladder attached by the wall.
the distance from the floor of the living room to the floor of the basement was suitable enough for you to jump right in, and you did just that, landing yourself professionally on the concrete floor.
you hastily stood up, turning yourself to look at the basement.
it was empty.
what?
you were sure this was the right place.
the only stuff that filled the basement were a bunch of useless junk that were thrown out for parties, and a random table in the middle of the basement, with yet another note placed on top of it.
you quickly walked over to the table, snatching the paper to read the contents.
you got the wrong place. think again, y/n.
eyes wide, you stared at the paper in shock, sweating.
he knows your name?
archons, your cover really is blown.
but most importantly, you went to the wrong place? how could this even happen? you wondered to yourself as you crumpled the piece of paper in your hand, too frustrated with the events happening as of now.
you're sure… you're really damn sure this was the right…
you blinked, before your eyes went wide once again.
fuck, of course.
tossing the now crumpled paper to the side, you quickly went back up with the ladder, scrambling to get out of the stupid frat house that was no use to you.
once you got outside, you ran to your next destination, pulling up your phone to call for the one person you needed at the time. how can you be so slow on catching up with his clues?
of course it'd be the cabin.
the exact cabin you found in the evidence scaramouche had given you.
the exact cabin under yun jin's name.
how could you even miss out on such detail?
the frat house was just a distraction to mess with you. the basement you and scaramouche had thought preserved the most darkest secrets of viktor stepanov was only filled with a bunch of junk for parties and such.
viktor knew you were headed for the frat house first. he knew that you knew about the secret basement he had there. and he absolutely knew that place would be your first target.
the tall brunette had tricked you from the very start.
viktor already had you wrapped around his finger from the very beginning of this case, trapping you in with the many tricks up his sleeve.
and the worst thing is that he is winning.
you hurriedly ran for your life, not even minding the numb and tiredness you're getting from using the strength of your legs for the past ten minutes. yun jin's life was in serious danger by the hands of a serial killer, and you're not going to let anything happen to your new friend.
the call rang for a few seconds, until it finally went in.
“y/n? you got home safe?”
you didn't answer for the next few seconds, only the sound of wind crashing through the mic of your phone.
“y/n? you okay?”
“call–call the squad, now.” you said through heavy breaths, continuing on running.
“what? are you okay? why are you running?” scaramouche asked worriedly, and you didn't answer immediately. suddenly, it dawned on him. “wait, you're not–”
“just fucking call the squad and tell them to head for the cabin! yun jin's in danger!”
the sound of rustling can be heard from the other line, until you heard the sound of the door closing. “y/n, don't go there by yourself. wait for me.”
“there's no time! she–she could be hurt any second now!”
now, the sound from his line was matching yours, as scaramouche was currently running too. “you're unarmed, y/n! stop running and–wait for me to come and get you!”
“no use, i'm almost there now.” you were right, the cabin was a few hundred meters away from you now, you could practically see the small roof of the cabin from here. you were thankful the woods isn't far off from viktor's frat house.
“y/n. stop, please. don't you dare go in until i get there!”
“no. i–i need to save her. just–call the squad and tell them to barge into the cabin. we're gonna close this case tonight— once and for all.”
“y/n, you're going to die if you go there alone. how many times do i have to keep telling you to stop being the stupid fucking hero you think you are?! was that fight not enough?!”
you morphed out a small smile, stopping yourself just right in front of the cabin.
“i won't–i really won't mind dying in the line of duty, as long as i get to save people.” you mumbled through heavy breaths. “and–this people in question just happened to be one of my closest friends.”
scaramouche started up his car, the sound of his engine filling up his line. “y/n, just wait until i–”
you hung up, turning off your phone for good.
this is it, you think through batted breaths.
if yun jin and viktor aren't behind this door, then you've completely fucked up this case.
but if they are, you've got to prepare for the worst.
there's no other solution behind this.
you're unarmed, you have absolutely nothing to shield you from being attacked, and to be honest, you're not ready in the slightest, yet you had a feeling that you just had to do it now, or else you'd be scarred for life.
holding onto the doorknob, you braced yourself for what you're about to face behind this very door.
you've reassured yourself from the frat house all the way here that nothing bad would happen, and that you would stop viktor before he could make things worse, but the way your body is shaking and trembling right now was saying otherwise.
you gripped tightly onto the doorknob, your shaky hand making it continuously rattle like a madman.
no. you have to do it now.
before it's too late.
just like what the note had said.
viktor had waited for you to crack this case. he had only mentioned your name in the paper, and he had left these notes for you to find.
he was anticipating for your arrival, not anyone else's.
there was no time to wait for scaramouche, let alone wait for the squad to arrive. the precint to here is at least a fifteen-minute drive. you could try stalling some time until they get here, but that'd take too long, and you're not sure if you'd be alive by the time they arrived, so you have no choice but to finish this off yourself.
you sighed for the hundredth time that evening.
the memory of scaramouche vowing to protect the people of snezhnaya played in your mind, and you smiled to yourself with gritted teeth.
yeah. ready or not, you had made an oath to protect the citizens of snezhnaya, in any sorts of circumstances, deathly or not.
there was no other way for you to prevent this from happening.
the only thing you could do now was stop viktor, save yun jin, and get out of this mess.
even if it meant sacrificing your own life.
slowly twisting the doorknob, you heaved out yet another warm breath, the cold weather hitting you like a brick. the winter season was close, and it could snow anytime now.
you hoped you'd have the time to witness the snow after this, at least for one last time.
as the door opened rather quickly and harshly, you hurriedly slammed it shut, peering over the inside of the cabin. it looked like any other cabin you've seen off the internet, except that instead of a cozy atmosphere, it was only filled with despair.
someone was tied to a chair in the middle of the room, their hands and ankles being restricted to a tight rope. you couldn't make out on who it was due to their head hanging low, so you decided to do what any other person would do when they're curious.
you slowly walked closer to the person tied to the chair to see them clearly, but when you finally got to see who it was, you furrowed your brows in confusion.
“viktor?”
a reminder that this exists and there's a very slim chance that is the ending, but who knows, haha!

closer | gojo satoru x reader
a/n: aaah my first ask and it’s a request! thanks so much this is so kind and sweet of you 🥺 and here it is! I’m not sure if it’s exactly what you wanted but I hope you like it anyway!
summary: in which Gojo has the need to be closer to you after a long day of hard work
pairings: jealous! Gojo x reader
warnings: none, other than this isn’t proofread! (This is just a fluffy domestic short fic!)
masterlist !
The best part about being the strongest jujutsu sorcerer isn’t the power (although Gojo basks in that too) but rather the fact that he allows himself to completely tear his walls down and be putty in your hands once he comes home from work.
Gojo would never say it out loud that the best part of his days is waking up next to you, pressing kisses in your still sleepy face and you whining for five more minutes, then watching as you wobble like a penguin to the shower so you can start your day. Although he doesn’t really ask much from you, his heart still swells every time you make him a sandwich, kiss it and claim that it’s “made with love” before he proudly shows off his ‘breakfast’ of the day to his students.
Even in work, he still thinks of you. It’s quite impossible for this man to stop thinking of you; you and him never left that honeymoon phase even after two years of marriage and a much longer time of dating.
He could be exorcising a curse then get distracted afterwards after seeing an Italian restaurant that he just knows you’ll love. Next thing you know, Gojo flicks his wrist and exorcises the curse in a flash before hopping into that restaurant to look at the menu. Loving is knowing; Gojo takes the time to see if the restaurant would be respectful of your allergies every time before booking reservations.
It’s no secret that this man is completely enamoured with you, if his sappy good morning kisses accompanied with light, teasing touches down your legs is not an indication already. Gojo is confident and feels safe in your relationship and he’s never the type to get jealous because Gojo is Gojo – who else would be better than him for you?
Or at least that’s what he used to believe, until he comes home with a bag of pumpkin spice bread for you, arms wide open and a “Darling~” about to leave his lips when he sees your current predicament.
Nanami is leaning against one of the chairs in your cafe downstairs from your home, the usual stoic man’s lips and cheekbones slightly raised in laughter as you tell him something about your day. Gojo can’t exactly understand the worse falling from your lips because he’s too focused on the way you’re leaning forward, eyes absolutely crinkled into half-moons while you share a strawberry tart with him. Gojo sees the cups of tea have already been emptied, meaning Nanami has been here for a much longer time than he is welcomed.
Gojo clenches his jaw. He’s told you many times you should get a bell so you’d know when a customer comes in, but now he’s thankful you’re stubborn and refused to have one because he can hide in one of the propped up tables and chairs hidden in the darkness.
He can’t help the sigh he releases. He’s late – like he always is.
You’re a regular human who isn’t able to see curses. You’ve only ever known about their existence ever since you started dating Gojo, but other than that, you’re completely unaware of how these things work. It doesn’t bother Gojo. In fact, he quite likes that he can be just a regular man around you, and he basks in the comfort of not having to worry about your safety if ever you were also like him.
He met you when you were just still a barista who helped your boss bake from time to time. Gojo was only a student then who hopped from one cafe to another in search of the best delicacy, but he got more than what he bargained from when he met the fresh-faced and bubbly young woman standing behind the counter whose smile was sweeter than the most sugary dessert you’ve ever made.
As the two of you grew older, Gojo supported you in building your own cafe since you’re so passionate about it and it’s been your dream since childhood.
He still remembers how you’d spend hours in the kitchen trying out new ingredients, so much so that you forget to eat on most days. Gojo is left with the task of literally hauling your ass up upstairs and force you to shower with him. You lie that you’re not really tired, but the moment his skilled hands roll the tension out of your shoulders, a contented and grateful sigh paints those lips he loves to kiss.
One of the things Gojo loves doing with you is taste-testing. He’s not around the house most of the time when you work since he’s a busy man himself, but on the days he actively chooses to annoy Principal Yaga and go AWOL, he’d sit obediently on the counter and let you use him as your own taste experimenting dummy.
When night falls and you’re just about ready to head to bed; satisfied and proud of another day of hard work, Gojo comes home early to help you clean up the cafe and prop the furniture so you don’t overstrain your muscles.
Or at least, he wants to come home early to help you. It’s just that he often gets carried away on his missions and stays behind a lot longer than he’d like because the world of curses is extremely demanding. After seeing that you probably already lifted all these heavy chairs and cleaned up everything by yourself even when you’re tired, and you still have the ability to smile and laugh like that in Nanami’s presence when he should be the one on the receiving end, Gojo is unable to fight back the twisting feeling that pools in his stomach.
Forcing a huge grin on his face, Gojo loudly smacks the paper bag in the table between you and Nanami, his hands resting on the blond’s shoulder who only groans at his presence. “Yo!” He greets, winking when your eyes gleam brighter now that your husband is home.
There’s no trace or hint of anything that could indicate you’re upset with him because he didn’t come home early. Instead, you bow and excuse yourself while picking up your cups and the small plate where remnants of your signature tart had been, and Gojo watches with longing eyes as you disappear in the back room.
Now that you’re gone, Gojo drops in your seat, takes off his blindfold, and glares at Nanami. “Nanamin,” he drawls out. “I wasn’t expecting to see you here – getting chummy with my wife, no less.”
Gojo knows he’s being petty and childish. Of course he is. This is Nanamin we’re talking about; the man is as frigid and stone and he’s as interested in romantic relationships as much as he respects Gojo Satoru. Plus, it’s you, and you have eyes for Gojo and Gojo only, but it’s also Gojo Satoru who’s mixed in the formula, and he’s not the least bit ashamed that he’s being immature right now.
Of course he’s jealous. Of course he’s possessive.
You’re his sweet, little wife – of course he doesn’t like it.
As if reading his mind but couldn’t be bothered to deal with him, Nanami slides an envelope across the table. “Ijichi took a sick leave so he couldn’t give this to you. I was tasked to hand it over to you instead so I came around. It’s not my fault you come home late and your wife insisted I have a short meal before I came home,” Gojo opens his to retort something stupid when you emerge from the back, pretty face tired yet still patient as ever.
“Leaving already, Nanami?” You smile up at him, hand slipping through Gojo’s bigger and rough ones. He doesn’t know why the gesture leaves him stunned, especially when you step close enough that he feels your heat on this sudden cold night. He’s so entranced by everything about you he doesn’t even notice the blond bidding his farewell.
Gojo watches as you turn to face him, smaller hands reaching up to caress his face. Now that his blindfold is gone, his hair falls down to forehead, your dainty fingers brushing them away from his eyes so you could marvel in its beauty.
Like a little kid, he melts into a puddle when you do that exact eye-smile he’s seen you do with Nanami, only this time, it’s reserved, private, and intimate.
Gojo shuts his eyes in the process, nearly stumbling forward, which he doesn’t really let happen with anyone because he’s the Gojo Satoru; strongest jujutsu sorcerer. But you don’t mind, you never do, and if anything it only makes you laugh when he pretends to be deadweight by collapsing into the crook of your neck.
“What a big baby,” you tease with your hand rubbing up and down his back in a soothing motion, all the tiredness and exhaustion from his day disappearing into thin air.
“Yes,” he concedes as he follows you up the stairs where you both change into your pyjamas and settle in for the night. “But I’m your big baby.”
The nickname makes you laugh, head thrown back as giggles erupted in your chest. You’ve already removed your makeup, hair down from your work hairnet and flowing in loose waves. Gojo stifles a gasp then, because you’re in his arms, in his bed, smelling like him, and you’re so soft, so free, so vulnerable and the way you lean into his shoulders while he rubs his cheek on the crown of your head makes him feel like he’s falling in love all over again.
He’ll never get tired of this – of you.
The mere thought of seeing you with someone else that isn’t him doesn’t sit well with Gojo. Now he understands why he’s so jealous and immature – it’s because he hasn’t wanted anyone or anything as much as he loves you.
He can’t imagine a life where he’ll wake up to his mornings without your limbs sprawled across his longer ones, or how he may never hear your sleep talks about birds and butterflies; which is utterly ridiculous, but because it’s you, he finds it adorable. Sometimes Gojo wonders how he ever even lived before meeting, but of course, those were days filled with nothing but him doing weird stupid shit.
Not that he’s stopped doing that, but now at least he’s doing those weird stupid with you.
And he only ever wants to share those with you, so he doesn’t and will never allow anyone else to take what’s rightfully his. You’re his wife, the love of his life, the sunshine in his mornings and the sunset of his beautiful dusk.
He doesn’t care if he’s petty – he’s got every right to be jealous because Gojo Satoru never shares what’s his.
When his mind races back to the way you smile for Nanami again, his hold on you grows tighter. You don’t complain when Gojo suddenly presses his lips into yours, a breathy moan blessing his ears once he finally moves on top of you. Gojo runs his hand under your – his – shirt, letting those talented hands of his roam upon the expanse of his skin like an artwork he’ll never get tired of looking at.
“Missed you,” he mumbles in between the lip-locking, leaning closer when your nails start to scratch his scalp as a way to soothe him from the night. Nothing about the kiss is hurried or fervent; rather, it’s calm and steady, slow and passionate, much like how everything he feels for you is similar to a calm, rainy day where he’ll stay in with a hot cup of chocolate.
You’re home – warmth and comfort – and you know you’re his just as he knows he’s yours, but it doesn’t stop him from kissing you like he wants you to never forget that.
You shiver when Gojo’s fingers tickle your ribcage, that spot always having been sensitive. Your husband swipes his tongue over your lips that still tastes like strawberries from your lipbalm, and he groans, falling forward when you allow him access into your sweet, sweet mouth. Meanwhile, you travel down from his hair into those broad, strong shoulders that always seemed like a fortress to you.
Gojo was so big and strong compared to you. There’s no denying he could easily break you if he wanted to, but he’s nothing but gentle – perhaps a little eager – when he holds you like this.
There’s no memory of how you end up on top of his lap that night with the covers barely strewn across your bodies, Gojo’s back pressing into the bed frame that’s witnessed endless nights of passion. His hands then run over your hips, squeezing it a little too hard until you rut against his hips.
“Hmm,” you moan into his mouth at the friction, while Gojo only smirks at your reaction. Even after years, you’re still so sweet, sensitive, and responsive – he just can’t get enough of it. “Satoru,” the way you say his name is so breathy, almost as if it’s a secret only the two of you should know, so he listens intently at your next words. “You’re a little needy tonight. Did something happen?”
“No,” he lies, smiling to himself once he sees your lips are red and bruised. He’s sure he looks the same, but your eyes are glossed over with love that he can’t resist you pulling you to him as if the space offends him. He trails his lips down to your neck to leave red patches of marks that claims you as his – not that the gold wedding band on your fingers wasn’t doing the job already.
Like the good girl you are, you tilt your head and allow him to do as he pleases. He sucks, licks, kisses and nips at the skin, all the while careful to not hurt you or push you over to the edge since both of you are too tired for the day to ever do anything.
Your head drops to the crook of his neck then, arms wrapped around his shoulders loosely as if you trusted him to catch you whenever you fall – and you know he will. He always will.
Later on, you grow sleepy at the way he starts to pepper kisses into your skin that addictingly smells like cinnamon and vanilla all at the same time. Gojo chuckles to himself at how peaceful you look in that moment, draped over him like a tiny puppy who lives in a world too big for themselves, but that’s not true.
You’re bigger than the universe itself, larger than the vast galaxies he held beneath those eyes, and Gojo finally stops being jealous.
There’s no need to be, after all, not when he’s the one you trust wholeheartedly to tuck you in bed while your soft breathing lulls him into slumber as well. Gojo flicks the lamp off with his finger, not wasting another second before he scoots closer, closer, closer until there’s no more recollection of where you begin and where he ends.
He stands corrected in his statement.
He’ll never get tired of this, of you, for you’re bigger than the universe itself and there’s still a lot of space between the two of you that he can’t wait to cross until your worlds crash and burn.
“Next time,” he promises before kissing your eyelids, “I’ll come home earlier.”
