tell me why i have wrote essays upon analyses of these two pairings for free that i don't even post. i have to write my analysis on actual classic literature and i am sitting here ranting about the wrong gay people

Next up on what i wanted to eventually draw was taking the attempt at Ghidorah. At first, i wasnt sure how and also since i was doing this traditionally, that meant i had to draw each head individually each time. The good thing tho was that it seemed to get used to it pretty quickly & wasnt whole lot of a big deal. I did slightly mess up on the front viewing heads at the bottom (for practice) with maybe the consistency of design. But i should have that better fixed later on.

[Another specific reason as to why i decided on Ghidorah but ill mention it later]

I think im doing well at learning how to draw kaiju and im happy with that :D

your phone rings once, twice, three times, before it drops. you stare at it lifelessly, balling your hands into fists to stop yourself from plucking it off your study table only to pause, your heart roaring, when it lights up again with a notification of simon’s call.

you debate whether you should answer it.

you know you shouldn’t. you know any self-respecting person wouldn’t. but-

you miss him.

as pathetic and as stupid as it sounds, you miss him. you miss the way he calls your name, all of his fleeting affections packed into the way he lets it roll off his tongue like it’s his favourite word; his favourite sound. you miss the way he holds you, the way his big hands slide underneath your skirt to find purchase on the back of your thighs and hoist you up into his arms. you miss the way he kisses you, all smouldering. all possessive.

all temporary.

you press your face on your palms, breathing in deeply, feeling the tears begin to pool.

another ring. another call.

simon is seeking you out-

your mind blanks as you move to accept it, only to hesitate in pressing your phone to your ear.

you hear a distant click, a faint static. then, “oh my sweet girl, how i’ve missed you.”

you slap a hand on your lips to stifle the sob that wrenches itself out of your throat.

simon pretends to not have heard.

you know those people whistling as they slowly make their way out (bc they know they did smthn that they shouldnt have)? thats so me rn <33

guys... question. I had a dream tonight about putting exposition into footnotes. like, a new concept is introduced, but instead of explaining it in the narration, you put it into footnotes (on certain occasions when the explanation is not terribly revelant to the plot). in the dream it seemed like a fantastic idea and ngl I think it'd be kinda funny and silly. but would it be TOO silly....
