Dear fic writers of the world,

If you plan to write a story about a disabled character who has a service dog*, great! More power to you. HOWEVER, please for the love of god do your goddamn research before you write that fic!! Look up your local SD laws, different types of SDs, their rights, and most importantly, the difference between a service dog, an emotional support animal, and a therapy dog. These are all VERY different titles and entail very different "jobs", and the laws surrounding these animals vary greatly. Multiple times I have started reading a fic with a service dog in it and it's literally just an ESA. This annoys me to no end. I know you don't own anyone anything with your fics, but as a former service dog handler, I ask that you at least do this one service to disabled people.

On the off chance any fic writers who are writing/want to write about a character with a service dog see this, feel free to hit me up. I'm happy to talk about what life with an SD is like, as well as the many nuances/laws/public perception/literally anything

*Under the ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) mini horses can also be service animals, however these are not as commonly seen :)

one piece (literally just asl bros lmao) fics im currently working on

- fae au: mostly outlined, partially written. fae luffy & ace, (mostly) human sabo. covers from the trio's first meeting up to their reunion/sabo recovering his memories (possibly longer for an alternate marineford? idk im trying not to make it too long but we'll see)

- ghost/hallucination: mostly outlined. sabo starts seeing ace after eating the fruit. it's left intentionally ambiguous whether these are hallucinations like he believes, or is actually ace's ghost visiting him

- patricide au: partially outlined. sabo doesn't find out about the fire until after it happens, and instead of trying to escape he instead decides that his brothers will only be safe if he essentially takes over the goa kingdom. he then proceeds to subtly do that by killing his dad to take over the company and installing stelly as a puppet king, and then uses his connections to aid the revolutionaries (mostly i wanted sabo and stelly to have a bitchy coworker dynamic, but asl comes into the picture later)

- sabo kills a celestial dragon au: mostly outlined. and listen, i know. im aware of the consequences. but hear me out: it would be really funny and also they ruined his life i think he should get to do a little a politically motivated assassination. as a treat

hiii thanks for asking and yes, technically !! i do have to preface this by saying that unfortunately i definitely can’t write all the prompts i’ve received/will receive bc i’ve simply gotten So Many 👁️👁️ i don’t write them in order and i do just kind of go through my inbox and pick one that inspires me on a day when i need that little extra push to fight writers block or when i have some time and need a break from my current wips !! i would just be aware that there is a good chance i might not get to yours but i’ll probably keep requests open for another day or so just for anyone who didn’t see me rb the original post so do feel free to send one in anyway just in case !!

(Some of the language may lean slightly bionormative in the reporting, so it is important to keep this in mind. Please note I am compiling these for my own reference, too.)

Children born through Artificial Insemination Speak Up {2003} "The Ministry of Health reports that {Donor children} births have been reported since the mid-seventies in Japan. While statistics record about 10,000 such children, the numbers could be much higher."

ehehehe i was brave and wore my crochet toque out today and i did have some guy try to be funny w his friends and decide to fake sneeze on me right as i walked past them (the guy seemed to be aiming to squish me against the wall of the building as we passed each other but luckily i am very small under my poofed out coat so i squeezed through fjdksl) bc i wear a mask, but other than that it went super okay!!

i even had a new guy at the group compliment my hat along w the two group leaders :3 !!! and the bus drivers always say "take care" when i let myself be perceived as fem so it was fun to hear that today hehe

HER HO!NY HUSBAND : GOJO SATORU

Husband!Gojo coming out of the shower with a wet muscular body and a piece of towel hanging along his waist—only to see his wife laying on the bed right in front of him.

Pregnant Wife!Yn who had been insecure of her growing belly and weight since a couple months due to her pregnancy, watches Gojo check her from head to toe, an unexplainable look on his handsome pale face.

Sitting upright, she fixes her loose garments. Maybe he’s finally come to the realisation of not being such a big fan of my mom body.

Husband!Gojo sensing her dejected mood, snaps out of his internal thoughts as he decides to reach out and sit next to her instead.

“Baby? Something’s bothering?” he asks softly, tucking a long strand of hair behind her ear.

Pregnant Wife!Yn ever a self-conscious overthinker, mumbles while looking up at her husband, “I saw you gazing at me few a many times now...” she fixes her garment again, in embarrassment “like... weirdly. You start looking stiff all of a sudden, as if you want to confess something. About my bad shape maybe.”

At her confession, Satoru pauses, lips parted open slightly and not sure which part to explain first. He brings a wet but comforting hand on her swollen belly.

“Silly girl. Are you worrying about your plump little adorable tummy again? I told you I like it.”

Pregnant Wife!Yn frowns, not really sure of his words. “Really? Then how would you explain everytime you stopped to stare at me? Your face doesn't seem as if you love it—or even like it, Toru.”

Husband!Gojo who shakes his head, body turning more towards her distressed wife. “I don't like it? I love you and every part of you babe, you know me.”

Yn sighs softly, looking down with an upset face. “I do... but maybe i shouldn't have asked for a baby. I just... I feel like you'd have appreciated my old body more, Toru.”

Satoru snaps his head towards her, eyebrows raised in disbelief. This was his last straw. She has to know what his pregnant, innocent wife does to him.

As he stands up slowly from the edge of the bed, he makes sure she's all eyes and ears. “Oh really now. Then I must give you a real reason to never regret your baby with me...”

Undoing the towel hooked on his dripping wet waist, the white haired man reveals his lower half of the riches. As her eyes set down, there comes in view an almost fully hard wet length of Gojo Satoru.

Pregnant Wife!Yn being taken aback, is unable to react for a good few first seconds, mouth agape. Light hue of red crawls up the neck to settle on her cheeks, when her husband hums in question.

“Mm? You see this? This is what you do to me, silly girl.”

Everything seemed suddenly more reasonable—Gojo stealing those frequent long gazes, his odd body language while he checks his pregnant wife out. Gojo gets aroused.

Pregnant Wife!Yn tears her gaze away from his manhood, cold sweat making her feel more or less like her currently out of shower dripping wet husband. Oh the thoughts that might be running in his perverted brain, all the ways he could take you in and you wouldn't be moving away with all the weight you bear of his baby, but comply, and relish, and whine.

“Oh-oh...” she mumbles shyly, the revelation lessening her insecurity effectively more than all sweet words combined could have ever had.
