#FELT THAT GOOD GOOD VINDICATION HOARDING SCROLLS THE ENTIRE TIME FOR ONE (1) TO FINALLY COME IN HANDY HAHAHAHAHAHFHGD#This fight was absolutely bananas - I was so close to restarting it when everything looked bleak but I didn't and I'm so glad#because it made for a very dramatic story lol#Rambling incoming:#I split the party really bad bc I wasn't super clear on the AOE lightning attack so when the second one rolled around Gale was the only-#-one able to take cover in the building...but I don't think it even worked??#Lae'zel was down long before then but Wyll and Croissant were in death saves#Used all of Gale's movement AND misty step to get to Croissant but he still couldn't get close enough & had to throw a potion#I think I used a potion of speed then so Croissant could cast globe of invuln right away#(and it took 10min of looking through my inventory to even see I had something to do bc otherwise we would've died right there don't @ me)#But then we were STILL too far away from Ansur for 60' spells so I had to keep running them out of the globe - using a spell - and then-#-mISTY STEPPING BACK INTO IT BC WE DIDN'T HAVE ENOUGH MOVEMENT SPEED#it was rough but we made it#bg3#baldur's gate 3#bg3 spoilers#act III spoilers#ansur quest#croissant adventures#tav#ansur#gale#gale dekarios#breadweave#gale x tav#YEAH WE'RE PUTTING IT IN THAT TAG#comics

#...right- LOL#I was so scared of losing anyone I pretty much only summoned Yurgir!#ok let me ramble about this fight in the tags#I.....listen. Listen. I love this game with my entire heart. It's one of my favorite games of all time.#.....the final battle took me out of it a little bit ngjfkdlnshjk#It introduced a bunch of new mechanics and maybe I'm dumb but it felt like it wasn't super clear how everything worked#First I restarted it because I dropped a globe of invuln on the starting area thinking Orpheus could just activate the stones from that far#Then I restarted it bc I basically ran out of time on the rounds...except I didn't realize the fight would continue since every other-#-turn-based round counter was usually a game over#THEN I actually summoned the flaming fist to help clean up right at the end which made the camera SUPER confused when I went in the portal#It was a mess.#I still give the game an 11/10 tho lmao#Oh also Orpheus did something - I don't know what - and then the dragon just died with 120hp left. So. trying to make bg3 work for me today got me like
#the bg3 adventures#i ain't touching that shit for a year i s2g#whatever they mixed into that patch 7 sauce it got everywhere#on my saves on my mods on my load orders#i downgraded to patch 6 that didn't do dick (my mods would just not appear in the game no matter what)#so i figured imma put my big girl pants on and tackle every challenge that patch 7 + mods has to offer#let me tell you how i spent 3 hours mud-wrestling the bg3 executable#only to go back home crying covered in shit head-to-toe#and yes i've reinstalled bg3mm and the SE and deleted and reloaded and restarted and updated the mods that had newer versions#it's just the built-in mod manager is an absolute nightmare to fucking work with#the back-and-forth between the mod manager the menu the saves the mod page while loading the saves#the random mods showing up that are not even in the mod folder/??? i'm-#and then some other mods showing up like... 20 times? dsdfdsf#yeah nah take me back to the peaceful pre-patch days#when i could just load in play around with pretty dresses then spend 2 hours taking pics or game footage#anyway where was i? ah yes period crying at my desk before any of this sdfdsfgfdg#maybe i should log off and just go write#yea

What if he tried to apprentice himself to the Gondians, the smart inventors who he sees himself as or wants so badly to be someday.
Dreaming of being an artificier.
Waiting outside of their warehouse for hours.
Begging for them to apprentice him so he can escape his parents and their debts.
Only to have them turn him away and later be sold to Raphael...
