I have decided that I am done with these actually. There are a couple poses I haven't remade, but they weren't used nearly as often as the others, so I'll get to them when they become necessary. For now... Sick of the new Harlan sprites being in limbo.

𝓘 𝓴𝓷𝓸𝔀 𝔀𝓱𝓸 𝔂𝓸𝓾 𝓹𝓻𝓮𝓽𝓮𝓷𝓭 𝓘 𝓪𝓶
Summary: You’re just a rebound or plan B to them. Or all in all, you’re nothing to them, they just need you just because. characters:(individual) Diluc, Zhongli, Ayato x Fem! Reader Warning: pregnant reader, angst, not proofread, grammar mistakes.
there are spoiler lines in the last part of each one of them, make sure to remember those lines, they maybe important authors note: MOMMAS HOME WOO!! yeah, I redid my work yippie, I changed Childe bc I don’t rlly like him lol :3..WHO MISSED ME >:DD
Diluc
you were so dumb. blinded by how your first love finally acknowledged your hard work and asked you out, after 7 years of you trying so hard to make him fall in love with you. However that wasn’t the case at all. He never loved you, he never felt anything towards you, you were only a rebound, his plan b if Jean would ever reject him, he loved Jean, saw a future with her, but in the end she rejected him. He was devastated, but then he remembered you, you were waiting for him. You were nothing like Jean, but you’ll do. You were just just his best friend who knew so much about him, he wouldn’t hurt to try right?...oh dear how wrong he was.
“I hate you! after all this time, you thought me of as a second choice a rebound!?”,your voice was loud enough to be heard from outside the manor. Diluc standing there, in such a pathetic state, not knowing what to do. ‘How did you find out?’ he thought. “You’re shocked on how I found out, am I right?”, you glared at him, your gaze full of hatred and sorrow. “I saw your journal. You left it at our bed table last night, I wanted to give it back to you when you returned, I was being nosey, I admit. Good thing I was being nosey or I would live a lie my entire life.”, your voice hoarse from all the crying and shouting.
“I...I’m sorry, forgive me..”, Diluc’s voice all quiet, his lips quivering in fear, not knowing what to do. “You’re not forgiven. I’ll be leaving tonight” The last time he saw you was when you were leaving for Liyue.
‘So..what now?’
Zhongli
You should’ve never have confessed, what an idiot you are. You knew your resemblance with Guizhong, you knew how many people complemented you because of your looks and how you act like Guizhong. You didn’t let it get past you though, you thought it was nice being resembled to a god, a dead god to that. Maybe that’s why Zhongli returned your feelings. the way you smile, talk, act, you resembled her. Zhongli isn’t the type to get mad but when you do something out of character, he gets slightly irritated, your supposed to be like her...but are you really her?
“ If you truly loved her, why didn’t you die along with her, then?”, all you could see was red, your words stung him, and you were enjoying everything bit.
“I am truly sorry, my love. It was a mistake, I promise to do better in the future!” His voice shaking, afraid to lose you, afraid to lose her.
“There is no future between us”, your eyes all dull, no emotion showing, oh how you enjoyed seeing the retired archon breaking down, right in front of you. Begging for you to forgive him.
“I’m not doing the same mistake, ever again.”
And you were no longer seen again.
‘Live for me, please! I can’t afford to lose you!’
Ayato
Being in an arranged marriage with Ayato wasn’t easy, he was always busy with work, thats what he said after spending the whole entire day hanging out with Lumine. He knew he could never be with Lumine because of this darn arranged marriage, he stayed cold and mean to you and uses the excuse of him being busy with work. He thought you wouldn't find out. But luck was not on his side this time.
“ You’re really bad at hiding, Ayato.” your voice cold, you could freeze anyone with your aura by now, but he stood his guard and defended himself “She’s just a friend! why can’t you understand that!”, his eyes full of hatred.
“But do you think friends kiss? do you think friends hang out and go on fancy dates, friends do say ‘I love you ‘ to each other.” His eyes widen in shock, so you saw, huh.
“...” he had nothing to say anymore, he was speechless
“I’ll send you the divorce papers tomorrow, I knew you’d never be good at parenting due to all the so called ‘business’ you have” You looked over your shoulder one last time, seeing his horrified face.
‘Is the child..mine..?’

The Villain and His Therapist - Part 4
Part 1, Part 2, Part 3
"You know, that shade of pink looks lovely on you," Villain purred, descending the stairs to lean against the kitchen counter.
Juliet paused where she was scrambling eggs in a skillet and glanced down at her attire of soft blue pajama pants and oversized grey sweater. "I'm not wearing any pink," she said slowly, lifting her gaze to look at the Villain.
He'd just come down from a shower, dark locks of hair curling over his forehead. He smelled of her green apple shampoo. It made her insides swoop all funny.
Villain's lips tugged into an easy grin as he took one step closer, two. He paused directly in front of her to lift a hand, brushing his knuckles feather-light against her burning cheek.
"I was referring to your blush. It suits you quite beautifully." His voice was liquid gold. Her skin tingled beneath his touch.
Remembering herself, Juliet swatted his hand away and covered her cheeks with her palms. "I'm not blushing."
He didn't try to hide the amusement on his face.
"Mm, whatever were you thinking about, Doctor Meadows?" Villain took Juliet's hands to gently pry them away from her face, using the hold on her wrists to pull her closer.
Juliet sucked in a soft breath, looking up at him. The sun streaming through the window caught the highlights of his handsome face and illuminated his dark irises, turning them to molten amber.
"I...was...thinking about how gentle you can be. When you calmed me down that night, you were patient and sensitive; you displayed a lot of empathy and care. I'm really proud of you. You've come a long way."
Villain's grin grew a little softer as he tilted his head to the side, studying her face. The way he looked at her used to make her feel like prey being stalked by a lion. Now...it made her feel like she was the only thing in his universe.
Her stomach fluttered.
Juliet swallowed, continuing. "I imagine it isn't easy for you to be so vulnerable. I'm glad that you feel safe enough with me to be soft."
Villain brushed her fringe away from her face, tapping the side of her head. "That psychologist brain of yours never turns off, does it?"
She smiled sheepishly, gaze dipping down to the floor.
Villain's finger hooked under her chin, lifting it gently. "I never said I didn't like it. You are my therapist, after all."
Villain leaned in closer, eliciting the slightest hitch in her breath. He smiled, relishing her response.
His breath ghosted over her lips, leaving them tingling in anticipation.
"Yours?" she asked softly. Her mouth had gone dry.
"Would you like to be?"
Juliet's thoughts were rarely clear on her face. She was difficult to read under the years of training keeping her steady and prepared. Villain wanted to unpick that artificial calm from her; to map her every reaction. He wanted to watch her sigh and blush and smile...
"The eggs are going to burn," Juliet whispered, watching him.
Without taking his eyes off of her, Villain reached over her shoulder, turning off the stove. In one fluid movement, he turned with her, pressing her back against the counter.
If her cheeks were warm before, they were blazing now. Villain smiled again, this time something so fond it dazzled her senses. The world narrowed to just the two of them, flush together.
Juliet's hands fell against Villain's chest, lightly resting against the soft cotton of his shirt.
She breathed in his scent.
"Villain?"
"Mm?" he murmured, the hum of his voice vibrating against her palms.
"When your brother- What he said about how you feel...about me... Is it true?" She held his gaze, holding her breath.
"My sweet Juliet Meadows." His voice alone was enough to melt her. He took one of her hands with deliberate gentleness and placed a kiss against her fingers. "If only I were brave enough to say it out loud."
"You can say it in other ways," Juliet breathed.
His eyes gleamed.
"Oh I intend to," Villain said softly.
Villain's gaze flicked down to Juliet's lips. He kept one hand on her waist, slotting the other into her hair. He leaned in until their lips brushed. Pausing, he seemed to catch himself, probably remembering Juliet's comments in therapy about the importance of healthy communication.
He smiled again, sharp and beautiful. His warm breath grazed her skin while his thumb traced lazy circles against her jaw. "May I?" he whispered, his lips hovering just barely above hers.
Juliet opened her mouth to answer, and-
The door burst open.
Juliet jolted in surprise, panic shooting through her as she gripped Villain's arms before she caught sight of who was really at the door.
The figure was fitted in a deep red super-suit, a black mask concealing his identity.
She relaxed, releasing a breath through gritted teeth. "Hero?"
"Doctor Meadows," Hero said, relief flooding his expression. "I heard what happened to you on the news and with Supervillain's escape, I knew you were in danger so I-"
His eyes narrowed as he seemed to notice Villain for the first time. "You get away from her," he hissed marching closer, crimson beams of tech-powered energy sparking to life in his palms. "Let her go and get out."
Villain hardened at the sight of him in turn, straightening and pulling out an advanced weapon. "Now that's insulting, at least I was invited inside." His voice was smooth and dangerous. Chilling.
A far cry from the man who had held her close and smiled fondly only moments ago.
Juliet stepped between them, holding up a hand in each direction. "Stop."
"You invited him in? Doctor Meadows, he's Supervillain's brother! He's probably here to finish the job for him!"
"Oh that's rich," Villain interjected. "For all your self-righteous monologues begging me to change, to be better, when I actually try, you can't accept it."
"I'm not willing to bet Doctor Meadow's life on your 'moral awakening,'" Hero spat.
"Hero," Juliet said in the no-nonsense voice her job often required her to use. "Take a deep breath. Villain would never hurt me, you don't need to worry about that."
"He-"
"-is in rehabilitation," Juliet finished for him. "He is my patient, just as you are. He has made tremendous progress, you are in no position to discredit his reformation. I promise you that I am safe with him."
Hero stared, studying the pair. Villain's jaw was clenched, glaring hard at the hero. Juliet touched his shoulder and some of the tension immediately dissolved from him.
Hero extinguished the energy beams in his palms, shifting into a less guarded stance. He regarded them for a second longer.
"Alright."
"Alright?"
"You want to prove you have good intentions? Help me find Supervillain and bring him in, for good this time," Hero said. "I can't do it alone."
Villain turned to look at Juliet. She stepped closer, taking his hand as she spoke.
"No. I don't want you to put yourself in a position where your recovery might be compromised again. You're too close to the situation to act rationally, and it would be too much of a trigger for you."
Villain's gaze softened as it landed on her, any hostility in his demeanor vanishing like it had never been there. He brushed her hair back with gentle fingers, leaning in. His thumb dipped down to graze her lips.
Villain kissed her cheek, her chin, the corner of her mouth. He straightened, eyes intent, looking like he wanted to kiss her properly--but not until they were alone.
When time would suspend like frost in the air and the moment would belong solely to the two of them, in the quiet and safety of each other.
Juliet's skin felt cold at the loss of his touch. Dread swirled in the pit of her stomach.
Villain turned to Hero, observing him for a moment before extending a hand to shake. "Deal."

Those Four Words Pt. 1
Summary: an escalating fight between Jason and his girlfriend leads to a tense two weeks in Wayne Manor
Pairing: Jason Todd x Reader
Word count: 2.1k
Warnings: language, mentions of sex and excessive drinking, mentions of character death
masterlist // next part
Jason Todd was in a terrible mood, having just got into an argument with Bruce. He decided to go up to his girlfriend’s studio to get away. She had been hard at work the past couple of days and he was getting needy. He came up behind her on the floor and pulled her into his lap. She tried to wiggle out of his arms. “Jay, I'm trying to do something right now.
He tried to snuggle closer to his girlfriend, “I deserve some of your time too.
“Deserve? You’re especially demanding today. What did you do?” Jason scoffed and pulled away. “What has crawled up your ass?”
“You did.”
She managed to escape and turned to look at her boyfriend, “I did? Huh, I think I would’ve remembered such a disgusting journey into your body.
“Dammit, Y/N! Enough with the sarcasm! You know what I’m saying.”
She sighed at Jason’s attitude, “I don’t understand what you’re doing right now, but you are starting a fight just for the sake of an argument. I’m sorry, but I can’t give you what you want right now.”
“I don’t want anything from you,” Jason was standing over his girlfriend, his whole body tense, “From any of you.”
“Why are you being like this? What happened?”
“What? You thought the minute we started dating all of our problems would magically disappear? Are you really that naive?”
Y/N put her brushes down and stood. She tried to walk closer, but he matched each step, moving away from her. “Jason, where the hell is this coming from? I thought we had got past this. Even you and Bruce are in a better place.”
“You think I'll ever forget you abandoned me. You all did!”
“Abandon you! What have you been smoking? We thought you died!”
“You replaced me!”
Now, Y/N was angry too and it was rare that anyone saw her this way. She was deadly calm, but the fire was roaring in her eyes, “I did not replace you.”
“That’s right, you were too busy whoring yourself around Gotham to even think about me.”
“That is not fair and you know it. I mourned you. We all mourned your arrogant ass. I never stopped missing you.”
“I saw the articles, Y/N! Don’t pretend you were mourning me. You were too busy whoring yourself around Gotham.”
Her mind went back to three years ago. Jason had died in an explosion set up by the Joker. She was sixteen and her best friend had died, and she hadn’t handled it well. What started as a way to get out of the house with friends, had led to this wild, secret life. Y/N had snuck out at night and used Bruce’s name to get into clubs. She drank anything she could get her hands on and had gone home with multiple men, trying to forget her pain. Once, Bruce had found out, her world had imploded. He sent her away and finally got her the help she should have received when her parents had passed. The only reason Y/N had moved back to the manor was that Jason had been found. She couldn’t believe that he was trying to use her moments of weakness against her, “How dare you throw that back on me. I was just trying to numb the pain. It wasn’t like I was celebrating the fact that you were gone.”
“Yeah, it really looked like you missed me.”
“God Dammit, Jay!” she stamped her foot, knowing it was childish, “If you would just listen to me!”
“Oh fuck off, Y/N! If I had known I was ever going to be stuck with you and your nagging, I wouldn’t have come back.”
“I wish you hadn’t!” The minute the words left Y/N’s mouth, she gasped and slapped her hands over her mouth. Jason’s emotionless mask slammed into place, and suddenly he was as blank as the day Bruce had found him. He turned to walk out and Y/N chased after him, “Jay, wait! I’m sorry!” He jumped onto his motorcycle and was out the door before she could stop him. She slammed her fist into the wall and cursed in frustration and pain. No one would see either of them for the rest of the day. Y/N stayed in her studio, wondering how they got to the point of shouting such hurtful things at each other.
The next day, they had both shown up for Friday night dinner, as was expected of them. Neither spoke, and the tension was too thick to be cut with a knife. Y/N had tried to pull him aside and apologize after dinner, but he had shot her with a cutting glare and stalked away. The other could tell that something had happened, but no one had the details. Tim wandered into the library after patrol that night, to find her in a chair tucked into the corner. “What are you doing here (Y/N/N)? Isn’t it a movie night with Todd?” He noted the tear tracks down her face but knew she hated showing weakness, so he said nothing about them.
“I wasn’t feeling up to it, so I canceled. I think I’ll head to bed now. Night, Timmy.” Y/N went to her room and cried herself to sleep, the guilt overwhelming her as she played the argument over in her head. If only she had just taken a break, maybe the whole situation could have been avoided. She woke up multiple times in the night, crying out Jason’s name after seeing him and the Joker over and over again. Finally, around 3 in the morning, she gave up on sleep and went to the kitchen to pour herself coffee. She decided to keep busy and started making breakfast for the family.
Alfred was the first to appear in the morning, as usual. Y/N tried to pretend that everything was normal, but nothing could be hidden from the family’s butler. He noted the dark circles under her eyes and the tremors in her hands from over-caffeination. The boys slowly started to emerge, and Alfred started to bring out all the food she had made. She made two plates out of habit and headed for the dining room. Y/N started to hand Jason his breakfast as she had every morning for a year, but suddenly she remembered and pulled her hand away. Jason didn’t even bother to look at her, and her heart clenched. She placed the plate on the table and walked back into the kitchen. “Sorry, Alfred, I’m not hungry. I think I’ll go paint.” She placed the plate she had made for herself on the counter and left.
Y/N’s studio had been a safe space since she had first moved into the manor. She had hidden away when she first arrived at Wayne Manor, unused to such an active family. Bruce had called workers to the manor and redid the room when she had told him she liked art. Now, after years of work, canvasses filled the room on all sides. Some paintings, others photos, she had accumulated in the three years. They hung on the walls and were laid across the floor. She flooded the room with Swan Lake, her sad music, and started to mix her colors. The music she played had become an easy way for the others to discern her moods since she hadn’t spoken to anyone except Fallon, Bruce’s wife, when she first came. Bruce and Dick had installed a speaker system in her studio to drown out the noise when she was overwhelmed, and everyone in the Manor could hear it if she turned it on loud enough. When the first notes hit their ears, all eyes in the dining room turned to Jason. He refused to look up and make eye contact, instead, he stared at the breakfast that had been abandoned on the table. Once everyone had averted their gaze, he pushed away from the table and disappeared.
This led to one of the most uncomfortable weeks in the Manor ever. Y/N barely left her studio and no one saw Jason for three days before he returned. When he did, he started to act as if nothing had happened. The music had eventually stopped playing altogether, so they had no idea what kind of mood she was in. Finally, Damian was the one to gather everyone else together, “Y/N/N has not come out of her studio in a week. Since Buckethead has just decided to pretend nothing has happened. We need to fix this.”
Bruce spoke up first, “Jason and Y/N are both adults. They are both being immature, and it will eventually work itself out.
“How can we fix this when we don’t even know what happened?” Tim looked up from his laptop, “I’ve been checking in on Y/N on the cameras. All she does is paint, and the most she’s slept in days is when she falls asleep accidentally. That never lasts long, and she cries. A lot.”
“Why did Fallon have to leave! We need to fix this, or the family vacation is going to be the worst!” Dick collapsed on the couch. Fallon had finally convinced Bruce that the family needed a vacation, but two weeks before they were supposed to leave, her sister had had a baby. She decided to go help her out and just meet them at the resort. They now had a week left, and it was not looking good. No one wanted to bother their mother since she very rarely took time for herself and was enjoying time with her family. They decided Alfred would be the one to try and convince Y/N to leave the studio at least and eat something.
He appeared in the doorway and watched silently as Y/N worked on a large canvas. He walked over and saw that it was a portrait of the family. “This is beautiful, Miss Y/L/N.”
“Thank you, Alfred,” her voice was hoarse from disuse.
“What is the plan for this one?” Alfred sat down next to her on the floor.
“Everyone hates photos, but Fallon wanted a family portrait for the sitting room. Since no one can sit still long enough I decided to paint one and give it to her for her birthday,” she slowly sucked in a breath, “Plus they only have the old one, and J--some people-- are missing from it.” Tears started to well up again in her eyes. Alfred wrapped an arm around Y/N and just sat with her for a moment.
“I’ve kicked the boys out of the kitchen. Do you think you could come down and eat something? For me?” She only nodded and they both stood. Y/N sat on a stool and silently ate the soup Alfred had laid out for her. She barely tasted anything, and she was starting to feel dizzy. Her vision started to blur, and the next thing she knew, she was waking up on the floor and had five heads floating above her.
“Hi, guys. Thought the floor looked lonely.” She tried to sit up but was cut off.
“That is it,” Bruce spoke firmly, “You are going to bed, and you are sleeping. I thought you were mature enough to deal with this but I see I was wrong.” He picked Y/N up and noticed she had lost weight. He carried her up the stairs and before he had reached her bedroom, she was already asleep again. Bruce turned to the boys. “At least one of you is staying in here with her and making sure she sleeps.”
Tim volunteered for the first shift and settled into her desk with his laptop. Y/N had barely been asleep an hour before she woke up from a nightmare of Jason dying. She shot up and shouted out his name, before bursting into tears. Tim -- being the awkward person he is -- was ill-prepared to deal with the crying Y/N. The only solution he could think of was to climb into bed with her and pull up a movie. She slowly fell asleep again and clung to Tim like a starfish. When Dick came to relieve Tim and saw that he was unable to leave, he climbed into bed with the duo. Anytime Y/N would start to become distressed, they would calm her down. Eventually, Damian and Titus joined the cuddle pile, the former somewhat reluctantly, grumbling about how he was only doing this for Y/N. Little did the Bat-Family know, Alfred had called Fallon and told her about the situation and she had rushed home.

— love language (3) sero hanta
pairing: sero x fem!reader
warnings: swearing
a/n: i’m so sorry this took me so long to upload:( but i hope you like it! this is my first time writing for sero and God, i love him so much pls 🥺
love language masterlist
sero’s love language is: quality time
we all know our man sero is very chill and laid back,
so i know for a fact there’s nothing he loves more than spending some quality time with his s/o
you guys could be doing absolutely nothing, but as long as he has you by his side, he’s happy
that means lots of dates
not just formal or fancy dates,
but also just hanging out in his room while watching a movie
or even just studying together
one of his favorite things to do is to take naps with you
he likes the way you cuddle him, specially when you wrap your arms around his neck to pull him closer
it makes him feel all warm inside
plus he loves how needy you get when you’re sleepy hehe
not really the clingy type, but lives for the way you frown whenever you’re in the same room and he’s not giving you any attention
and you better bet he’s gonna tease you
“something wrong?” he asks when he notices you glaring at him, even tho he already knows the answer to that
“i’ve been here for almost an hour and you’ve barely even looked at me”
has to bite down on his lip to prevent himself from smirking
“hm, is someone in need of my attention?”
“you know what? i’m going back to my room”
you’re only kidding, but nevertheless sero takes ahold your arm and pulls you down, once again, unto his bed
he’s on top on you, wearing a cocky ass smirk that makes you scoff and look away from him
he chuckles at your childish antics before pressing kisses all over your face
and you only last 3 more seconds faking being annoyed before bursting out in giggles
doesn’t really take long before you guys are heavily making out
what can i say? he gives in way too easily to that pretty face of yours
and your lips too lmao
he also really likes surprising you whenever he has the chance
like this one time he randomly knocked on your bedroom door at 5AM just so you could watch the sunrise together
and how could you ever get mad at him for waking you up so early when he looks so damn ethereal with the sun rays hitting his skin?
answer: you can’t
he’s a simple man,
all you gotta do let him know you appreciate his presence (one way or another) and he’ll love you forever
a frustrated groan leaves your lips after you fail yet another attempt at trying to solve the fucking math exercise. you’d been stuck on this for half an hour now and you felt like you were going insane; no matter how much you reviewed your notes or how many times you redid the formula, you just couldn’t seem to get it right. and it was pissing you off. you take a deep breath before covering your face with your hands, trying to calm down and not let the tears fall. it was silly, but you were pressuring yourself and not being able to do something as simple as this exercise made you feel dumb.
sero watched you from his bed, where he was also finishing up his homework, and couldn’t help but feel bad for you. he had asked you multiple times if you needed his help, but every single time you said you were fine and that you could do it alone. clearly that wasn’t the case, but for some reason you kept thinking: if i’m unable to do this, how am i supposed to become a hero? how were you supposed to save people and bring a smile to their faces when you could barely pass your exams? you weren’t like bakugou or todoroki, who were incredibly powerful and smart. were you even worthy of being in class 1A? the more you thought about it and questioned all of your abilities, the more uncomfortable the lump in your throat became.
suddenly, you felt sero turn the chair you were sitting on around and gently prying your hands off from your face. his eyes looked for yours, but you were too busy staring at you lap; you didn’t want him to think you were stupid or fragile, that something like this was enough to make you cry. but he didn’t care about that. he just wanted to make sure you were okay, and so, he takes your chin in between his fingers and forces you to look at him. his heart feels heavy when he sees the tears falling down your cheeks and the way your lower lip wouldn’t stop trembling.
but what hurts even more is when you try to speak up and apologize.
“m’sorry, i know i-i’m being stupid but-”
“baby,” he cuts you off, eyes gentle as he looks at you. “you’re doing great, okay? but you need to take a break,” before actually helping you stand up, he wipes the tears away with his thumb and kisses your forehead. the action makes you want to cry even more, but for a different reason. he’s everything (and probably more) you could’ve ever asked for. “come on.”
sero takes your hand and leads you to his hammock before laying down on it, you frown your eyebrows in confusion. does he think we can- but before you can even finish the thought, he pulls you down on top of him, making the hammock shake violently.
“hanta we’re gonna fall!” you look at him with eyes wide open, as if asking him what the hell was going through his mind, but he just chuckles and holds your hips. that makes you scoff before hitting his arm.
“ouch! no need to get aggressive.”
after he reassures you that you’ll both be fine, and that if you do end up falling he’ll catch you, you snuggle yourself against his chest and try to get comfortable. you rest your face on the space between his shoulder and neck while he wraps his arms around your torso, his hands tangled in your hair as he runs his fingers through it. both of you stay quiet for a while, and the feeling of sero’s fingers makes you extremely sleepy, but before you can fall asleep, he speaks up.
“i know i don’t say this often, but i’m proud of you. you work so hard and i admire you so much for that, but you need to take care of yourself too. school can be stressing and difficult, so it’s important to take breaks when you feel like it’s too much. and just because you can’t do something doesn’t mean you’re stupid, baby.” it was as if he had read your mind, reassuring you on everything you were overthinking earlier. once again, tears fill your eyes at sero’s heartfelt words and you glance up, only to find him smiling down at you.
without thinking it twice, you connect your lips with his in a tender kiss. he’s a little taken aback at first, yet doesn’t waste any time before kissing you back eagerly. one of his hands gently caresses your cheek, which is a big contrast to the way he’s kissing you, but the action makes goosebumps appear all over your skin. sero is very passionate when it comes to the things he likes/enjoys and you’re no exception to that. that’s why his kisses always leave you feeling breathless.
“thank you, hanta.”
from that day on, sero constantly checked up on you just so he could make sure you weren’t overworking yourself and you guys even started having study dates every wednesday. he knew you could do anything you put your mind to, because he believed in you, and he didn’t mind having to remind you or helping you with whatever you needed. after all, that just meant he’d get to spend more time with his love.

on my mind :: eight

After a drunken one-night stand with your ex, you thought you could get him out of your life for good. Unfortunately, the two of you can’t seem to keep away from each other. Why can’t you leave each other alone? And more importantly, why is he still on your mind?
tw: profanity, mentions of sex
author’s note: this is it, the final chapter. i have bonus scenes that i’m planning to write in the future, but this is it for the main story! thank you so much to everyone who has read this and supported it, i appreciate you all so much <3
Team Japan was performing the best they ever had. With Hinata and Kageyama’s freak quick attack, Sakusa’s angled spikes, MSBY’s teamwork, Aran’s powerful serves, and Suna’s intimidating blocks, Japan easily made it past the first few rounds and into the gold match game.
You and the team were lucky; there were no substantial injuries, and even after countless games against some of the best in the world, everyone was still upbeat and energetic. Morale was high, and everyone was excited for the next game: the final gold medal match against Argentina.
You had met Iwaizumi’s fiance, Oikawa Tooru, and immediately understood what Iwaizumi meant. There was, in fact, an “Iwa-chan, I can’t believe you! Rival against your own fiance!” All in all, you thought Oikawa was a good match for Iwaizumi’s impassive nature, and you were happy for both of them. You just hoped Iwaizumi would survive the final game.
Jerseys were put on, water bottles were filled, medical bags were prepared, and soon enough, you were standing next to the bench and watching the National Team practice for their most important match. You couldn’t keep your eyes off of Suna, who was donning the jersey you had stolen months ago. You had already expressed your love for Suna in a National Team uniform, jumping him almost immediately after they won their first game.
Practice finished, and both teams were given a short break before the match would start. The arena had a few family members; you could see Osamu and Kita, along with Bokuto’s husband and Hinata’s sister and mom. Once again, you were thrilled that you were able to stand next to the court during the game and not in the bleachers.
Suna approached you where you were next to the bench, and you stood up to give him a good luck kiss.
“I know you’ll do great, Rintarou. I’m so proud of you. Good luck, and make sure to beat Argentina and give Oikawa hell!”
Iwaizumi laughed next to you, earning a glare from Oikawa who was talking to him. You gave Suna a final hug and kiss, then turned away to redo a wrap on Aran’s knee.
You missed Suna handing a tiny black box to Iwaizumi, and Iwaizumi subsequently hiding the box in one of his bags.
---
Japan took the first set, a service ace from Kageyama ending it. Argentina took the next, thanks to a surprising setter dump from Oikawa. Sakusa’s final spike gave the third set to Japan, and Oikawa’s service ace gave the fourth to Argentina. With the tie, everyone was nervous approaching the final set. You redid a few wraps, gave encouraging words, and wordlessly threw an ice pack at Hinata, who was acting like he didn’t receive a ball with his face in the fourth set. Oikawa was happily taunting Iwaizumi, who was threatening Oikawa with a pair of tape scissors in hand.
The whistle blew, and the players made their way back onto the court. You watched with bated breath as the set flew by, long rallies and quick movements making your head spin. You were exhausted just watching; the game had been long and hard, but this set was full of back and forth points with neither team getting a clear lead.
Finally, Japan had a break and was in the lead at match point. You could barely breathe, and everything felt like it was in slow motion. You watched as Oikawa served, Komori received, Sakusa spiked, and Argentina’s libero sent the ball towards Oikawa, who set it towards a spiker. The spiker jumped, Suna jumping right in front of him. The ball was hit, and it felt like an eternity as you watched Suna send it back down to the other side, guaranteeing Japan’s victory as the ball hit the floor. A whistle blew, signaling the end of the match and solidifying the final score.
You were shouting, Iwaizumi was shouting, the coach was shouting, everyone was rushing towards the court and Suna. You ran as fast as you could into his arms, laughing as you took his face between your hands and showered him with kisses as he spun you around. Both of you were crying, his teammates circling around you, hugging him (and by proxy, you) and patting him on the back. He finally set you down, grabbing something from Iwaizumi before he was pulled away by a jealous Oikawa.
You watched in awe as Suna Rintarou got down on one knee right after scoring the winning point for Japan’s Olympic gold medal.
“Y/n, I know we’ve been back together for only a few weeks, but in my heart, it’s been over eight years. I’ve loved you since then, and I’ll love you until the day I die. You’re the only one I can picture beside me in the future, and you’re the only one I want to spend the rest of my life with. I could go on and on for hours, but I also have a medal to get for you. Will you marry me?”
The tears streaming down your face prevented you from properly speaking, but your enthusiastic nod said it all. You threw your arms around Suna, letting him pick you up and spin you around again as everyone in the arena cheered and the cameras picked up the proposal on live television.
“Of course, I’ll marry you, Rintarou.” Your voice was breaking, and you could see tears on Suna’s face as well. “I love you so much and I’m so proud of you. I can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with you.”
---
When Suna crept into your room that night, you welcomed him with open arms, grinning as he placed the gold medal over your naked chest, the cold of the metal seeping into your skin as the bed broke beneath you, again.
---
Los Angeles, August 2028
“We’re gonna be fucking late, Rintarou.”
“No we won’t, calm down.” He tossed you your team jacket, watching as you zipped it fully to cover the bruises blooming on your neck.
You glanced down at your phone. “Fuck, Rin, it’s almost time. Get out.” You pushed him out of the empty training room, grimacing at the clock on the wall. “I’ll see you out there.”
You snatched your bag off of the floor just as your phone began to ring.
“Hey, Osamu, I’m kinda busy right now.”
“Busy banging Sunarin?”
“Shut the fuck up. Are you guys here?”
“Yeah, right behind the bench. She’s asking for you.”
“Be there in a sec.”
You hung up with a click, pushing open the door and walking down the hall to the court. The rest of the team was already there, and you glared at Atsumu as he shot you a smirk. Just like Osamu said, he was seated in the bleachers behind the bench. You dropped your bag down, walking over to him and Suna.
“Hi, baby. Are you being good for uncle ‘Samu?” You cooed at your daughter, who was currently latched onto Suna’s neck.
“Yes, momma.”
“Good girl.” You grabbed her from Suna, bouncing her on your hip as the whistle blew for practice to begin. “Tell your daddy good luck.”
“Good luck!” she giggled, hands reaching out for Suna as he leaned down to hug and kiss you both.
“Make sure you watch me close, baby girl. Not uncle ‘Tsumu.”
Your daughter grinned at her dad, nodding her head and promising him all her attention (which was pretty minimal, for a three year old).
You handed her back up to Osamu, who bounced her on his knee as she waved at you and Suna.
Practice came and went, and another gold medal match for Japan started. Japan had won again at Paris in 2024, and everyone was hoping for another one. You waved to Iwaizumi, who was arguing with Oikawa on the Argentinian side. The two of you stayed in contact after he moved, with him frequently telling you about the most recent stupid things Oikawa had done and you keeping him updated on your life with Suna and EJP.
The game began, and it was close, just as the last two between Japan and Argentina had been. Before the fifth and final set, they were yet again tied, with the previous sets being close as well. The whistle blew, and the final set began.
It was back and forth, as was usual for Japan and Argentina, but a break at the end put Japan at match point, just like the game in Tokyo. With bated breath, you watched Atsumu serve, Argentina receive and spike, and Komori receive. Atsumu set, and time slowed down as the ball flew in an arc, right into Suna’s waiting palm. The ball was slammed down, the echo carrying throughout the silent arena. The final whistle blew, and the gym went up in cheers.
You ran towards Suna, just as you had done at the Tokyo Games, leaping into his arms and showering him with kisses. Osamu approached, handing your daughter off to Suna, as the three of you celebrated in your own little world. A third Olympic gold, an amazing daughter, an incredible husband; everything was perfect.
The next day, you received what was quite possibly the best picture you had ever seen. You, Suna, and your daughter, tears on all of your faces, huddled close together in a tight hug, smiles bright and wide, taken by Osamu.
You had everything you could ever ask for in your family, your friends, and even your job. Still, Suna Rintarou was always on your mind.

Why don’t you listen to me? Law x GN! Reader - Part 8
Spoilers for : Punk Hazard and Dressrosa arcs [No gender used for the reader, no physical description, everyone is +18] Words : 7073 Archive of our own Blood, exhaustion, intimacy, stupidity, innuendos, flirting If you feel like I should put more warnings, send me a DM or an ask … Part 1 - Part 2 - Part 3 - Part 4 - Part 5 - Part 6 - Part 7
It’s strange. It’s odd. Feelings can wake you up, weird sensations too, without there even being a contact with your body. Sometimes at night people wake up with a feeling of dread, or a chill running down their spine. Others from the lack of warmth around them, suddenly realizing they had battled with their blankets during the night.
I, however, felt watched. I was also very aware that someone was in the room with me, so I opened my eyes just a little bit to peek. I could only see shoes, but it was enough to trigger a fight or flight response in this still sleepy state.
Looking somewhere behind the person, they were sitting on the rolling chair from the desk but facing me, I focused and teleported behind them. Let’s write down this moment as the most fruitless attempt of taking someone down.
The moment I was behind them, not only did I realized it was Law, but also in a quick gesture of his hands he uttered the word “Shambles” and brought me back to the bed. He threw me the pillow with which he had shambled me, and rolled up to me with a smirk. “Are you done?”
“Do you know how creepy it is to watch someone sleep?” I whispered/yelled, still not fully in control of how my voice was going to be.
“I knocked. Three times.”
“Sure, whatever. Just don’t,” I waved my hand in front of me, “Do that again, you scared me shitless.” I said, giving him a side glance. “And saying ‘I knocked three times’ does not justify the fact that you were watching me sleep, by the way.”
“I was going to wake you up soon. I need to change your bandages, among other things.” He explained coldly, bucking his hips to bring the chair closer to the bed.
His legs were put strangely with how long they were and how low the chair was. “Maybe, elevate the seat?” I suggested with a slightly mocking smile. He threw me a glare in response before patting under the seat to finally find the lever.
This time it was good and he was almost hovering over me. “It’s useless, I’m going to stand up, I can’t do shit sitting down.” He complained, kicking the chair back. It hit the desk with a bit of strength but only enough to rattle the jars on the wooden furniture before calming down.
“Someone’s on edge, you’re not usually so tensed.”
Ignoring my words, Law told me to turn around and take off my clothes once more so that he could remove the bandages. When he did, it stuck to the wounds, but I could finally breathe properly and it was a relief. “I did not have the right lighting yesterday, but your wounds are bad.” He scolded, undoing most of the things he had done last night, saying it was shitty and he shouldn’t have done it in such a state.
“I know, I fucked up.” I mumbled, looking over my shoulder.
Then a silence.
“It’s nothing I can’t fix.” He breathed softly; his gaze ever so analytical as he redid all that he did last night. Another silence followed, then I felt his fingers graze my skin tenderly. “You should have told me the bandages were too tight.”
“I thought it was supposed to be that way, you know like, keep the blood in-“ “You also have to keep the blood flowing, you’re lucky you didn’t pass out,” He spat. “I can see the marks of all over your skin.” This time it was almost a guilty tone, but I could be wrong.
“It’s alright, I think it’s because I had to take deep breaths when we ran earlier.” I told him casually. It was strange, the tension that had been there for so long was slowly starting to fade. I believe it was because I was rested but it could have been for some other unknown reason.
I hissed throughout the whole process of Law cleaning my wounds and putting some ointment on it. Without much emotion, he handed me a part of the bandages and start working with me as we wrapped it around my torso once more. It was less tight than last time, and Law made sure to tell me to remove them in a few hours to let the wounds breathe.
He waited for me to dress back before telling me, “Hands, now.”
Right, I had a lot of other cuts all over my body. Without realizing it, I just put my hands behind my back and waited for him to start working on it until I realized what I had done. Closing my eyes for a moment, I giggled nervously. “Fuck, that’s not-“ I quickly turned around on the bed, showed my hands in front, not looking at him when I did so.
All I heard was a short huff from Law. Then he started checking everything, rolling up my sleeves to look at the cuts on my arms and cleaning them again without a word. I could feel my body heating up.
His hands were holding my arms so delicately, I wondered what it’d feel in another setting. A more intimate settings, where they’d travelled from the back of my thighs to my back, then my stomach-
“Why are you avoiding my gaze?” Law’s voice interrupted my thoughts, hearing what he’d said, I looked up from the ground and focused somewhere closer to his eyes.
“That’s not my eyes, it’s my earrings.” He sighed, moving to my other arm carefully. He wasn’t pushing, but I could feel the mood turning strange.
Maybe I could come clean? He seemed to have calmed down, maybe I could tell him why I followed him to Punk Hazard. “Maybe I’m embarrassed.” I said, looking to the side. My face was heating up more and more, my heart beating faster. I was determined to tell him.
“About the hands? Restraints is something a lot of people-“
I interrupted him with a loud exasperated sigh, “God no, not that. Please don’t mention that, let that moment disappear from your mind, please.”
“Maybe I don’t want it to.” He finished taking care of my wounds, but did not go away.
Instead, he stepped closer, towering me. His hands rose, one placed on my shoulder and the other brushing the exposed skin of my neck. “Turns out you might actually enjoy the leash in the end…” My skin was set aflame, I finally looked up and met his gaze in pure shock and surprise. Yet some part of me was delighted by that suggestion, his eyes looked at mine with something close to boredom but it wasn’t that, it was something darker.
However, it quickly disappeared, and he stepped away from me with a grunt. “Forget what I said, rest. It’ll be a while before we arrive-“
“No, no, don’t do that- Law, don’t throw it under the rug.” I said quickly before grabbing his good arm and desperately trying to have him stay, “Ask me again, please, ask me again.”
He was confused, I could see it on his face as he asked, “What?”
“Ask me why I followed you-“
“Why did you follow me to Punk Hazard, why can the rest of my crew obey a simple order but you can’t?” Okay, maybe I deserved it. Maybe I poked the bear too much, but he still said it in a quite aggressive way that almost made me bolt away and abandon my mission. But instead, I answered.
“Maybe Shachi, Penguin, Bepo and rest of the crew are not here because…” I gripped the hem of my shirt and looked off to the many cabinets in the room. Night was slowly falling and it was soon time to eat, then our shift... But I continued, “Because they don’t love you the same way I do-“
“Why would you do that?”
I covered my mouth at the incoming rejection and took a deep breath before asking him what he meant by that. “I’m your Captain-“
“Don’t you think I already know that? That’s what makes it worse! But I still wanted to make sure you were a good person…”
“Why would you love me?” He asked, stepping closer to me.
I took a step back, my legs hitting the bed and I pushed him away. “Are you really asking this? Just because you’re stubborn and grumpy doesn’t mean you’re unlovable Law. You’re also very kind, in case you didn’t notice, and you make me laugh… I just feel nice around you… serene…”
Running my hands over my face, I sat back on the bed, bringing my legs to my chest before resting my elbows on my knees as I sighed. I had to hold back my tears until this was over. “Maybe it’s for the best if I’m not in the crew anymore, at least it won’t be awkward.” I muttered.
“I have a hard time trusting people.” He stated while sitting in front of me. I hesitantly looked up, confused. “And I’m harsh. I have nightmares, I am bitter, I have goals, people around me they don’t live long because my goals are dangerous.”
Nodding, I kept my gaze on his, “You also care for people around you. You do everything for their safety. You warn everyone, of the danger, we stick around because we care about you. For someone bitter you’re very sweet with your crew,” I chuckled dryly, “And the nightmares? It’s a package deal with this life, is it not? Like you said, it’s not a kid’s game Law. We know what we signed up for.” I ran my hands over my face once more, exhaling loudly. It was relieving to have confessed, even though now I felt sad from whatever this was. Had I been rejected?
“Never run into danger ever again.” He said out of nowhere, I felt his weight next to me. He was sitting with an arm on one his knee, while the other leg dangled off the bed.
“That, I can’t promise, sorry.” I mumbled.
“You said you weren’t part of the crew anymore, but you are. You never left it, I just tried to keep you away from this.” His voice was a lot softer than it usually was, but that’s because we were alone and he did not have to pretend. He did not have to be the leader.
“You could have said so, instead of being a real ass.” I believe the nerves of having bared my feelings made me stuttered there but I ignored it.
“What would you have said if I told you to stay because I did not want you to get hurt?”
I pondered the question a moment before laughing and admitting with a tired grin, “I would have told you that I knew what I was doing and come anyway.”
“Exactly, you are very much like Mugiwara-ya just for that.” He explained with the ghost of a smile on his face.
“Ah but you get along well with him, so it’s alright, I don’t mind.” There was a short moment of silence, he turned his face slowly and looked at me with a smug smile.
“I must have a thing…” He turned around on the bed and grabbed my ankles before pulling me towards him, I almost fell forward when I lost the support under my elbows but played along. “… For impulsive idiots,” Taking off his hat, he set it next to him while still looking at me, I could see his eyes a lot better. There seemed to be a glimmer of playfulness in them that I could not get enough of.
I giggled nervously, losing all my sentence-making skills. I wanted to reply something, anything, maybe something witty even but I could feel his hands gliding from my ankles to my knees before slowly going to my thighs. A dumb, nervous, smile was painted on my face, I knew it but I couldn’t stop it. My heart was trying to jump out of my chest, I could feel it pounding rapidly, no signs of calming down. “Haha what- what do you think you’re you doing?” I managed to utter; my nervousness was too present.
“I thought you could read me like an open-book. But it seems you’re as bad at doing that, as you are at listening to my orders.” He grinned before moving one hand to my jaw. He splayed it there, angling my head as he stared down at me with what I could only describe as longing. Was this happening? Was this really happening? I parted my lips, surprised by his words then smiled, it was closer to a rictus than a smile, “Seriously, what are you doing? Law…”
A wicked smile was now displayed on his lips as he leaned in even more, his nose brushing against mine. I could feel his breath on my lips and could also smell the rubbing alcohol on his hands. I grabbed the lapel of his coat and tried to bring him closer, he chuckled and held back, his thumb caressing my cheek slowly. “Look at you, so eager-“ I was not here to play games, as he talked I tugged hard on his coat and brought his lips against mine. His hand slithered from my jaw to the back of my head where I felt his fingers thread in my hair, feeling his nails scrape against my skull sent shivers down my spine.
I’d never thought this day would happen, but I was enjoying every bit of it. He was smiling against my lips, his tongue darting out as he wordlessly asked for permission. I welcomed it with as much eagerness as him, we broke the kiss to breathe for a moment and looked at each other. His eyes were filled with lust and what I could only hope was longing or love, for I knew my eyes were filled with those. “Stay by my side, I don’t think I could bear seeing you hurt again…” He breathed sadly.
Looking at him with a bit of doubt, I whispered, “Are you… is this… can you say it please… can you say it so that I know it’s real? I don’t-“ I let out a nervous laugh, it earned me a slight frown from Law but he ghosted his lips against mine ever so lightly. “I’m in love with you.” He breathed against my lips, I shivered and muttered “Good,” Now smiling, I brought my eyes to his and said, “I’m not leaving your side if you stay by mine… dear…” I saw his face turn a different shade of red, it was the cutest sight. His lips met mine once more, this time with more passion.
My hands travelled from his coat to his stomach where I barely grazed it before gripping his hips. He hissed into the kiss, pulling away for a second, “Careful, it stills hurts,” He breathed out before going for the kiss once more, I stopped him and looked at his stomach with a frown, “Sorry, we should probably stop-“ “No, come here,” With a hand now on the small of my back and the other under one of my thighs, he brought me over his lap where I could look down at him, my knees resting on the mattress on either side of him. He was careful with his touch on my back, and while my arms still hurt, I couldn’t stop myself from letting my hands travel to his shoulders before sliding my fingers inside his messy hair.
This time I was the one to angle his head for the kiss, my fingers brushing over his earrings. He smiled smugly and pecked my lips tenderly, “You’re hurt, so I’ll let you do as you please but if it was up to me, I’d take you right now,” He whispered seductively before kissing my neck, I was giggling at first at the sensation of his beard against my skin but soon enough I was gasping and pressing his head closer to my neck. Those weren’t kisses, he was leaving hickeys all over my skin, not giving me any sign of stopping as his hands ventured under my clothes and grabbed my ass.
I moaned and rested my head against his before asking him to stop, “We should rest first, before…” “Before what? We’re just kissing, did you have something else in mind?” Seeing his sly expression, I grabbed his hat and shoved it on his face, pulling it down to cover his eyes. “Nope, nothing. Let’s head back to the others.”
Letting out an annoyed sigh, he put his cap properly and kissed my neck one last time before helping me up with him. “We won’t be alone until we arrive at Zou, are you sure you want to go back already?”
I was already turned towards the door, but I faced him once more upon hearing his subtle plea for more. “Does my Captain crave more of me?” I asked cockily, there was something empowering in knowing I had the same effect on him, he had on me. He seemed taken aback for a moment, before his expression returned to his usual scowl.
“Let’s go back then,”
I blocked his path and placed a hand on his chest before he could step forward, “Not yet, you’re right. I guess… I could use some… some you time.” I mumbled. I didn’t want to admit how much I actually wanted him, if not needed him.
I wanted to act cool and composed, but I was not yet ready to go back inside and act like nothing happened. “Some ‘me time’? I think you should be clearer,” He said with a serious expression, but I think he was being playful. I think he was saying this because I had told him the same thing earlier, but I had done my fair share of being straightforward with my feelings for today.
He hummed as if to nudge me, without doing so physically. Clearing my throat, I shrugged, “I’m not going to be all touchy and shit once we get back to them… I don’t really-“ Sighing I looked up at him, hoping he wouldn’t get mad, “I’m not into PDA okay? But I really want to be close to you right now, I,” a shaky laugh escaped from my lips as I thought of how stupid it sounded, but I continued, “I still can’t believe this is real, nor that you are alive… I could really use some more of…” I took a deep breath and sighed just as loudly, “More of your touch, I want to hold you okay? I really, really want to hold you right now.”
I heard him chuckle lightly before he put everything down on the desk once more and looked back at me with the smallest of smiles. “I’m glad we’re on the same page,” he started, pulling me closer by putting his hands on my hips. “I’m not going to be, as you say, ‘all touchy and shit’ either. Not in front of them, but I can’t promise that once we’re back with at the Polar Tang.” He continued with a content smile this time. His hands travelled from my hips to my shoulders where he wrapped his arms around me. “I think Black Leg is still cooking for now, we have a bit of time in front of us.”
I felt relieved that he did not tell me off, but also very glad that we were, as he said, on the same page. Hesitantly, I nudged his hand with mine. He laughed grabbed me gently, then led me back to the bed where he treated my wounds. “You know, you don’t have to ask to hold my hand.” He said softly once we sat down and I was glued to his side, my legs over his and my back slightly off the wall to avoid putting more pressure on the wounds. “Good to know… you can too, if you’d like.” I said with a timid smile.
There was a calming silence between us, it felt comforting. Just knowing he was there.
“You’re a lot calmer than I’ve seen you these past few days.” He remarked, patting his lap as if to invite me to come over. Chuckling, I turned him around so that we were face to face, in the length of the single bed, and nudged his legs apart to sit there while my legs were on either side of him. That way I wasn’t putting my weight on him, but on the mattress. I saw the way his cheeks lit up but did not mention it. “Well, you know, I’m only calmer because I lost a lot of blood.” I quoted him, earning a short laugh as he slithered his hands to my waist where he held me there.
“I thought you were getting shy for a second,” He smirked.
“Me? Never. Never, no, no. There’s no need to, haha…” I gripped his knees like it was an armchair when he brought them mid-way to his chest, his feet still on the ground, on each side of me.
“That would be something, considering how you were kissing me moments ago.” I never thought he’d be this cocky, I thought he’d be awkward and playing hard to get but he was having a lot of fun seeing me squirm.
“You kissed me,” I corrected. But I did not really remember who had started it, that moment was too foggy even though it made my stomach flip just from thinking about it.
He laughed so beautifully just from what I said. While it was beautiful, I looked to the side embarrassed. “You kissed me, I know because I can still remember how eager you were to-“ He started, but I interrupted him,
“We kissed, both of us, it’s a shared action, okay? Let’s not talk about it, let’s just leave it at that.” I grumbled, my face probably flaring up by now. I heard him hum, but was it in agreement? I hardly doubt that. From the look on his face, he was enjoying this. Too much.
“If I had been the one who had initiated the kiss, it would have gone like this,” Suddenly, I was pulled onto his lap once more and he was gripping my chin between his index finger and thumb. He was keeping my mouth slightly open, I tried to close it but he’d chuckled and opened it once more. I tried to stare at his hand but he tutted me and told me to look at him. “I would have kept you like this a little while, seeing how you’d react,” then he gently brushed his thumb over my lips, smiling faintly, his burning gaze was piercing mine.
His voice dropped lower, “Then I would have tested the water, like this,” he pushed his thumb inside my mouth and pulled my lower lip down, showing my teeth. My heart was beating fast, I wanted to say something, get the upper hand but I also wanted to see what he’d do. “You’re breathing unevenly, am I getting to you?” He whispered with a smug smile. I did not reply, instead I was lost on the new sensation of his free hand trailing up very slowly from my hip to side.
With as much care, he wrapped his hand around my neck. It wasn’t tight, he was barely grazing his fingers on the skin, each of his fingers dancing across my skin like butterfly wings. He slid his index and thumb back on my chin and raised it to have a better access to my neck where I heard him sigh. “Beautiful,” I looked at him from that weird angle, my eyes almost closed as I tried to keep my gaze on him. When he dipped his head, I felt his tongue on my skin and gasped, gripping his shoulder from the sudden warm sensation.
Since we had just come back from outside, his hands were just as frigid as mine but we couldn’t care less. Our warm bodies were enough for now as I was melting in his cold touch.
He left a trail of open mouth kisses on my neck, then full ones on my collarbone before gradually moving behind my earlobe where I could feel his even breath caressing my hair. I gasped at the sensation, leaning against his touch more. I was gripping his shoulders tight but did not dare move in fear of missing out on more of him. “You’re enjoying this, aren’t you?” He whispered, his teeth scraping against my ear, the feeling of his beard joined quickly after.
I let out a breathless sound, it made him chuckle. “Suddenly so silent… I haven’t even kissed you yet.” I made a sound close to a grunt but it came out as a whine with how leaned back my head was. “I like to take my time,” he uttered against the skin of my neck once more before grazing his tender lips against it then sucking on it, leaving more marks. “Very slowly… getting you to the edge…” He hummed against my skin, his hands deftly touching the right spots.
No matter how cold it was starting to be outside, I felt like my skin was on fire. Each of his touch sparked something new. “You haven’t answered my question, perhaps I should stop-“
Looking back at him I frowned, “No,” My voice was so low I wouldn’t have been surprised if he hadn’t heard me, he grinned widely at my words and tilted my head back once more, resuming what he was doing. One of his hands gripped the back of my neck surely, it wasn’t painful but not very soft either. The other brushed over each spot after he kissed them. He took his time, and I was left, mouth open, eyes closed, enjoying every second of it.
I was not ready to tell him but I was relishing in the feeling of his hands against my skin. Part of me knew that those hands did a lot of things, not all good, and he had the power to kill me if he could. But right now, they were sending shocks coursing through my body, they were like feathers grazing my very being, they were a sinfully pleasing grip the perfect amount of pain and pleasure.
Lost in my thoughts, I had not realized he had tilted my head forward. When I slowly opened my eyes, I met his half-lidded grey ones. “Look at you, I’m barely touching you and you’re already at my mercy…” He leaned in, his nose brushing against mine just like before except this time I was drowning in his touch. Both of his hands were holding my head, splayed with his thumbs on my cheeks and the rest of his fingers behind my ears.
With his lips merely breaths away from mine, he whispered, “If I had been the first one to kiss, it would have gone like this,” then he our lips met and it was different than any previous kiss. It was wanting, longing, like two people finally meeting after years of yearning for one another’s touch, finally succumbing to that craving for intimacy. But it was also, needy and desperate, like drinking a fresh glass of water in the middle of summer, you don’t want to miss one drop, you want it all for yourself and you take it, the biggest gulps of your life. It felt refreshing in that warm summer heat, but only for that mere moment.
When we broke apart, we were both breathless. I was going to speak up, but he started kissing my cheeks, my neck, my collarbone, carefully avoiding my wounds. I chuckled and pressed my hands onto his cheeks, trying to stop him but he moved back to my neck where he kissed me again and again. This time it wasn’t lustful, nor sensual, I felt loved, my once shattered heart from seeing him falling from high above was slowly filling up with so much warmth. “Law, my god Law, let me- let me love you too, please.” I said with a chuckle, it sounded poetic but all I wanted was to kiss him as much as he was kissing me.
“We’re going to have to go back, I want to enjoy this a bit longer,” He uttered against my throat, I let my head fall back as I laughed, giving him a better access for a few seconds before pushing his head away.
“I never thought you’d be such a romantic.” I said with an embarrassed smile, he was looking at me with such a strong emotion, I had a hard time discerning which one it was. Leaning my forehead against his, I sighed and closed my eyes. “Are you sure-“ I was cut off when Law spurted, “I also thought you were dead…”
Opening my eyes, I realized what plagued his pretty eyes, it was fear. Fear and worry. I was about to ask what he meant when he continued, looking at our now intertwined hands. “Doflamingo said he had placed a bounty on your head, and if you weren’t dead by his own hands, then the civilians would have gotten you.” I frowned, gripping his hands tighter. “He showed me my vivre card. The one I had given you, at that moment I thought you were gone.” I gasped, realizing where it had disappeared. I had no clue how they took it from my pockets but now it made sense.
“I’m sorry… I don’t know how they took it, it was in my pockets the entire time-“
Law chuckled dryly, shaking his head. “He fooled us both. But now he’s defeated, I don’t want to think about him anymore. Let’s forget about it.” He said with a certain finality to his words.
While he was looking off to the side, I observed his solemn grey eyes. I did not know what to say to help him, I didn’t think he had gone through this much. Tapping my finger on his hand, I grinned when he looked back at me, a brow quirked.
“I’ll admit I kissed you first but-“ he laughed, his head hitting the wall behind him. A relieved smile on his lips, relieved and happy.
Telling him to shut up, I continued, “But, I think we should talk about you telling me you want to put a leash around my-“ “That’s a topic for when we’re back on the Polar Tang, I’m not having that discussion right now.” He said quickly as he stood up, pulling me up with him. This time I was the one who was laughing, pulling at his hand I called his name softly, “It’s pretty fun that, that’s what initiated all this-“ I gestured at the both of us.
“You know what? It is, you did ask me to stay even after that, and the hands behind your back? Maybe we should have that conversation right now.”
How could he turn the topic on me when he was the one who said the kinky shit? Letting go of his hand, I walked past him, hiding my face. “Polar Tang it is, I’m not having that discussion right now.” I imitated his tone, earning a deadpanned look from my Captain, now lover. Without further delay, we left the infirmary.
Before I could go a separate way from Law, he gently took my hand in his and stared at me.
Looking askance, I chuckled. “Is there something you’d like to say?” I asked with a small smile. Pulling me closer to him once more, he let his hand trail up my arm.
“I’m going to contact the crew,” He did not elaborate and just looked at me, so I prodded. “And you… want me to be there,” his face did not help at all, as usual he was wearing a scowl and did not say more. “Or not? Is it more of a ‘we’re alive’ kind of call or is it like, ‘coming clean to our friends that we’re dating’ kind of call.”
“I’ll tell them we’ll be arriving in a few days, knowing them they’re worried sick.” He rolled his eyes, but there was a smile on his face that said he did not mind that much.
“You’re right, do you think they’ve encountered any problem on Zou?” I asked as we started walking side by side to where we could find a den den mushi. I had never seen that island, if anything it was but a legend to me, or as it was known, the ghost island.
I was surprised when we entered a room, filled with laughter and camaraderie, and Law huffed a laugh. “Do you not know about the plce? Bepo’s from Zou.”
“What? I never knew! Do you where they’re all from?! All of them?” putting a hand in front of him, I stopped him and squinted my eyes, “Do you know where I’m from?”
Law pushed my hand away and mumbled the sea I was from, surprising me once again. “Don’t act surprised, I keep track of all of my crew.”
“Right, it makes sense.”
We continued talking as we crossed the room and managed to get hold of the den den mushi. There was a bit of shoves and pushes from the commotion around as people drank and partied, but we made it through. When Law got in contact with the crew, Shachi picked up but soon after a shuffle was heard then loud whines, everyone on the other end of the line was moving and trying to talk to Law.
“I can’t handle that much noise, I’ll let you check up on them, alright?” I leaned over to tell Law, he nodded but before I could go, I heard our crew asking if they heard right, if it was me. Law told them it was me, that I was alive and he took care of my wounds which only brought more worry.
Questions were shot from each and every one of them, like asking what had happened, where we were, how was Law. But the one I heard was, Bepo asking Law if he had told me yet. What was he supposed to have told me? I didn’t know but it definitely piqued my interests. So, I decided to stay and pulled up a seat to sit next to Law with a huge grin.
Mouthing I asked, “Tell me what?”. He scowled and turned around, replying to all of their questions and calming their worries. It took a bit of time, but when he thought he was done, Bepo asked the question again. And Law grunted in response.
“Captain! You have to come clean. It can only go well!” I heard the polar bear say, his statement was backed up by the rest of the crew.
Bringing the den den mushi closer to his mouth, Law mumbled something.
Cheers erupted from the device, “Good! It was painful, Shachi you owe me, I knew they both couldn’t be that stupid.” I heard Penguin say.
Giving my Captain a curious look, I noticed his flustered expression and smiled back timidly. Why did it feel so nice? Part of me knew the crew would accept it, and yet hearing them supporting us took a weight off my chest. Or perhaps was it, relief from having carried this crush for so long? Whichever it was, it felt nice, and I could probably sleep tight tonight.
When Law was about to hang up, Penguin asked if I was still there. I contemplated telling them nothing, but instead I shuffled closer to the scowling man and peeked over his shoulder. “I’m still here-“ “Now you can finally admit you just couldn’t bear being separated from your true love instead of using Bepo as an ex-“ He was being overdramatic and clearly teasing me, yet I fell for it and grabbed the den den mushi, cutting the conversation short before putting it down on the table with too much force.
There would have been a silent if it hadn’t been for the hubbub in the background. “I’ll give them all a beating when we see them again.” I huffed, looking at Law for the first time since I hung up on the whole crew. He was leaning against the wall with a knowing smirk, it made me feel funny inside but I ignored it and gesture at him with my chin. “What?”
“Nothing.” He replied.
“Go ahead, tell me, you look arrogant and I-“ I was going to say I hated it but, who was I kidding? It was hot. “And I want to smack that smug smile off your face.”
“We both know I’d win in a fist fight, even more so in the state you’re in.” He said casually while making his way towards me, his stride slow and deliberate. When he reached me, he did not touch me, instead he leaned in and whispered right next to my ear, “Not that I couldn’t win if you weren’t in that state, you’d submit anyway.” He huffed a laugh, his breath hitting my burning skin.
When he pulled away, I stared at him, mouth agape. Had he really said that? “I- you- no? Maybe? I don’t know, I wasn’t planning on fighting you, so…” I trailed off, feeling stupid for ruining the mood but I could still save it. I wanted to see how far I could take it. Maybe test the water and flirt back, like he did moments ago.
Before I could speak, the cook appeared by the doorway and called everyone to eat. Throwing one last glance at Law, I said, “This isn’t over,”
“I hope not, I like what I started.” He stated, ruffling my hair before walking away with the ghost of a smile on his face. “And since I’m the one who started it, you’ll have to come back to me with a more satisfying answer. You seemed to be struggling there… maybe with time you’ll find back the ability to talk.”
I had no idea what he had started, but wherever this was leading us, I knew nothing was going to happen on this ship and I would probably go crazy from the waiting. But it was worth the wait, I had waited long enough to be honest with him and myself, I think waiting was now a skill I had mastered.
For now, I’d have to play it off. Play is casual, no matter how much I wanted to walk by his side and be close to him. It was strange, I always thought it was because I was worried about him but now I knew I simply wanted to be by his side and bathe in the serenity of his presence. For someone so dangerous, he had a calming aura that I could not get enough of.
“Are you going to keep staring or are you coming?” I heard Law’s voice by the door. Everyone had left, but him. He stood there, his coat ruined, his body wrapped in bandages, his sword in hand. And yet, he was smiling. But only for me.
“Well, maybe I’m enjoying the view?” I teased while making my way towards him. I could help but notice the slight change of colour on his cheeks, but he hid is well enough behind his sudden scowl. “Come on,” his hand grabbed mine, our fingers intertwining. “You need to eat if you want to heal up.”
Looking down at our hands, my stomach twisted in a strange knot. While I said I didn’t want PDA, holding hands felt nice, it felt reassuring. Perhaps this I could handle, why should I care what the rest of them thought? “You sure you want to hold hands?” I asked him when I remembered he was just as apprehending of being public about our affection.
“If I let you go, you’ll probably get lost and wounded, one way or another. I’m okay with this as long as you are.” He said in an off-handed way. But I knew it was not about me getting lost, he wanted this as much as I did. I squeezed his hand tighter and hummed. “Yeah, I’m good. I’ll flaunt you-“
“Don’t, just don’t.”
“What, you don’t want to be my trophy husband?” I said playfully as we started walking towards the kitchen.
His only reply was a deadly glare which only made me laugh, “Kidding, I won’t say anything promised.” I trailed off. “But I’ll be thinking it very loudly, because I get to be with the Surgeon of Death and that’s kind of hot.” It earned me a choking reaction from the Warlord who only gave me a side glance before looking away, slightly flustered.
I could get used to getting him to blush and be embarrassed, the side flirting seemed to be more effective than my pitiful attempt at straight-forward flirting and I took note of that.
When I started this impulsive approach, this stupid and rash action of following him to Punk Hazard I never thought it’d end up like this. But now I could say without an ounce of doubt that I did not regret it one bit. Sure, I got yelled at a lot and maybe I got more trauma than I thought I’d get but it turned out pretty well.
Our adventure was not at its end, we had a long way to go to defeat the Warlords and I was ready for it, as long as I was by Law’s side and I had my family with me.
“Hey, I’m glad I didn’t listen to you when you told me to go back to the Polar Tang the first time.” I told Law before we entered the kitchen.
“I can’t say I am, but I suppose it’s not that bad you did not listen to me… just this time. You better follow my orders next time, or I’ll chain you to the ship and leave you there.” He grunted. His thumb brushing over the back of my hand balanced his emotionless words. “Aye aye Captain.” I said teasingly, earning a shove from him.
It’ll be alright, I thought, content.

I let you down I've been clumsy with your heart again
C L U M Y M A S T E R L I S T
Word Count: 3.7k
A/N: This started off shorter and then I redid one of the segments and welp here we are at 4.3k words. Oops! It’s not favoritism I promise. This is the “final” part to Shinsou’s CLUMSY series! I really hope you all enjoy! I’ll make a post asking what you all want to see next! :)
Denki couldn’t remember what time Shinsou told him to meet up with him after his training with Aizawa-sensei, so he figured he was going to just sit outside of the gym until he saw his purple haired friend exit the locker rooms. It had become almost routine for the two to have after school hangouts, mainly so Shinsou could relax after a long day. Kaminari helped fill the void that he felt without being able to see you. Though, Shinsou was guilty that it had distracted him from talking to you on occasion. While Kaminari was sporadic and chaotic, it helped ease the stress that Shinsou was constantly under.
However, Kaminari was surprised when he noticed the gym door was left wide open. Usually when he had ventured over to this part of UA, he would notice that the doors were closed. A privacy thing so that the students didn’t feel pressured or on-lookers wouldn’t intimate the said student. Had Aizawa-sensei cancelled his practice with Shinsou for the day? He was acting very strange the entire course of the day. He was extra grumpy and even before coming to check in on his friend, he had particularly felt bad for Shinsou having to deal with his sensei’s foul mood.
Curiosity got the better of the blonde boy, Denki decided to peek inside the small private gym, the ones teachers used to mentor students in, only to see Shinsou standing against a wall with his face pale and expression shocked. Shinsou had looked like he had either seen a ghost or had been told someone close to him had died. This immediately made the blonde worry for his new friend. He had looked around cautiously to see if Aizawa was still in the room. When it showed that it was only the two boys just sitting in absolute silence, that is when Kaminari decided to speak up to figure out what was going on. “Oi Shinsou, is everything-” The blonde started to say before Shinsou let out a scream of frustration. It reverberated a chill down Kami’s spine, making him flinch back.
Suddenly gym equipment started to fly across the room in haphazardly ways. His screams and shouts continued while he was heaving equipment left and right. “I’VE WORKED SO HARD.” Shinsou shouted in his fit of rage. “I HAVE WATCHED UNWORTHY STUDENTS SIT IN LUXURY.” Kaminari sat in a state of shock, watching his new friend seemingly lose his mind. He wanted to go and comfort his friend, but he was afraid he was going to lash out on him as well. He opted to just let him get all of his emotions out, even if it wasn’t in a healthy manner. “I PUSHED SO MANY PEOPLE AWAY FOR A SLIVER OF A CHANCE TO PROVE MYSELF.” He spewed again, not noticing the tears starting to stream down his face. He had thrown everything within a few feet radius as hard as he could across the smaller gym room.
He had looked over to Kaminari who was just standing there awkwardly, watching him, judging him. However, Shinsou was so out of breath he wasn’t sure if he even had any energy left to yell at the blonde for looking at him with such pity in his eyes. “I don’t know what’s going on, dude, but maybe you should take a breather before you hurt yourself.” Kaminari spoke cautiously, trying to not provoke Shinsou further. “You don’t get to tell me when to calm down! You don’t understand, you’ve had the privilege to just BE in the hero course!” Shinsou shouted at him, his eyes filled with both tears and rage. “But, you’re doing so well with your training! You were just talking to the support class to design your new gear!” Kaminari still tried to direct the conversation in a positive manner.
The two had just discussed how he was getting one of the girls in the support class to design a vocal chord changing mask. Kaminari was super blown away with the idea of being able to change voices in order to trick their opponents. While Shinsou might have lacked the psychical strength, he was always good at diverting and making a plan for success. “It doesn’t even matter now! Don’t you get it deadbolt!? I not only lost my shot at joining the hero course but I also lost the girl I loved by pushing her away for this opportunity” Shinsou’s voice strained out, it being raspy from screaming and shouting.
The blonde’s eyes widened in shock, realizing the situation at hand in front of him. He was watching Shinsou have a breakdown because for some reason, he had lost his mentor-ship with Aizawa. “What? What happened? You were doing great with your training!” Denki had pointed out making Shinsou flinch in embarrassment from those words. “Don’t you think I know that?!” The purple haired boy cried, clutching his chest in desperate attempts to not let his heart fail him now. Kaminari had also picked up on his specific wording, the girl he loved. Had he gotten into a fight with you the night before? As far as he was concerned, the two of you were fine. You guys had plans to meet up after practice the prior day.
“Can’t you just fix all of this then?” Kaminari’s comment made Shinsou turn very angrily towards him. “If I could, do you think I would make this big of a mess and yell so loudly? Do you think I would have gone into a fit of rage, destroying the gym if i could just FIX it? I can’t, you dumbass! I screwed up big time!” Shinsou cried out more, finally admitting his defeat. His knees crashed to the ground and he fell over onto his hands. He couldn’t stop himself from breaking down completely in front of Kaminari.
Kaminari knelt down next to him, placing a gentle hand onto the boy's back. Shinsou wouldn’t have noticed though, his entire body felt numb. He felt like he was plunging into a sea of darkness, swarmed with all his insecurities and doubts that he was ever good enough in the first place for such opportunities. With each gasp of air he took, he could feel himself drowning further into the waters that flowed over him like a flooding hurricane. Everything he worked for, everything he was aiming for was now just stripped from him.
You always kept him afloat with positive words that always helped him breach the waters that tempted to drown him. Like a ripping current he was being dragged under so quickly it was hard to breath. Kaminari was full of panic himself, watching Shinsou progress in his panic attack without fully knowing what to do. He wasn’t like Kirishima who could easily bring comfort to those in states like this. The blonde was tempted to go get help from one of his other friends but he was afraid of leaving Shinsou alone.
What had he done that had gotten him kicked from the mentoring program and had made him lose you?
…
“Stop right there, Shota.” Hizashi’s voice rang from down the hallway of the teacher’s lounge. Aizawa was still steaming with fury that he hadn’t noticed how far away from the training gyms he was. He came to a halt to see the older blonde glaring at him. “You took that way too far. I don’t know the extent of what your daughter said on the phone, but hurting Shinsou that badly wasn’t justified.” He started spewing, getting angrier through his sentence. Aizawa narrowed his eyes at his friend. “He broke her heart.” The tired teacher said through gritted teeth. “You didn’t hear how upset she was over the phone. I’ve heard her get like that once and that was after the USJ incident with the league of villains.”
“Teenagers go through breakups and fights all the time.” Hizashi tried to reason with him. “You don’t have a daughter, Hizashi.” Aizawa quickly countered. “You wouldn’t know what it’s like to hear your son or daughter call to you for help, sounding like they barely slept the night before.” Shota knew he was going way over the top, but if there was anything he would do, it was for the sake of his daughter.
His daughter wasn’t a planned idea, but there was nothing on the planet that Aizawa could love more. There was a reason he had made living arrangements and let little know about his daughter. The last thing he needed was for the league of villains to find out about you and to attempt to take you away from him. “No, but I know that you just crushed every hope that kid had for joining the hero course. Instead of punishing the poor kid who hasn’t been given a chance since he got here, why not help him out?” Hizashi started to try and reason with him.
“Help him out? After he hurt my daughter?” Aizawa growled through his gritted teeth. He could feel the headache forming in his temples from the day. He spent it so angrily, so filled to the brim with frustration. It was like he was getting hit multiple times in the chest with blow after blow. “You don’t even know what happened between the two! For all you know it could have been a misunderstanding. The last thing you want is for there to be no hope for your daughter to be able to make things up with the boy because you scarred him.”
For once, Hizashi had a really good point. As much as it pained him to agree with the obnoxious blonde, he knew he was right. “I’m sure your daughter would appreciate the effort set forth by you.” He continued to push, making a groan leave Aizawa’s throat. “Fine, fine. If it will get you off my back, and if you really think this is a good idea, then I’ll go make things right. If not, I will not hesitate to hang you over a pool of sharks.” Aizawa threatened, making Hizashi smile widely at him.
Hizashi treaded lightly behind Aizawa to make sure he would stay true to his word. The last thing he needed was for the man to slump over and fall asleep before missing his chance to fix things with Shinsou. He didn’t want to tell Aizawa, because he knew it would make him feel even worse about the situation, but he knew Shinsou had a soft spot for Eraserhead. The way the kid watched in admiration whenever he would explain something to the student said volumes.
Aizawa was not happy about having to be the one to confront the boy who broke his daughter’s heart. Damn that loud mouthed Hizashi for bringing his daughter into the mix. He knew he was right but that didn’t make him any less happy about the situation. In no time flat he made it back to the gym only to notice that things were strewn about. Weights were all over the place, the sparring matt was upright against a wall instead of on the ground. He noticed Kaminari next to Shinsou, kneeled over and rubbed circles into Hitoshi’s back. He almost felt bad when he heard the soft sobbing that came from the hunched over boy. Until he took into account what he had done to his daughter.
Aizawa crossed the room and pointed for Denki to leave. The electric blonde did not hesitate to question his teacher’s instruction and left the gym quickly. Aizawa squatted down to Shinsou’s level and put a hand on his back. “Get up, kid.” He said in a husky voice, before standing up. Shinsou’s eyes shot open and his head shot up to look at him. Surprise and confusion flooded his face as he wasn’t sure why the teacher of class 1-A had come back to him.
“Kaminari, if you don’t scram from eavesdropping from around the corner I will not hesitate to flunk you on your next upcoming exam.” Aizawa shouted loud enough so that his lingering student could hear. Both Aizawa and Shinsou heard shoes scuttling away from the door and down the hallway. He was about to tell Hizashi the same thing, but Shinsou had interrupted his thought process by saying, “Why did you come back?” Shota had noted his tone was defeated, and almost filled with hopelessness.
“I was too harsh, I was overcome with my own emotions of protecting my daughter and lashed it out on you. You are a bright student and one that deserves a second shot.” Aizawa started to explain, rubbing the back of his neck. “Why didn’t you tell me Y/N was your daughter? I had been dating her for well over a year. You had to know what you were signing up for when taking me on as my mentor.” Shinsou questioned quickly, obviously still very confused from the situation.
“I wanted to make you a hero good enough to protect her.” Aizawa admitted, shaking his head at his own thoughts. “I don’t know what you said to her to make her so upset she called me crying, but you need to fix it. However, being my daughter, she’s a stubborn headed mess. If I personally don’t help you, you may not have a shot of fixing it.” Shinsou’s eyes lit up with just a tad bit of hope. “You’re helping me?” Shinsou’s voice came out in a whisper. “In this regard, yes. If you think I’m going to be cleaning your mess here, you are sorely mistaken.” Aizawa said, however, Shinsou could hear a bit of playfulness in his tone.
…
You had been tempted to try and communicate with Shinsou after the blow-up the two of you had. However, judging on the last text you sent him, he had your number blocked. Even if he had unblocked your number, wouldn’t he have tried to reach out and make things better? This wasn’t the first quarrel the two of you had, obviously not to this degree. It had never gone on this long. The realization dawned on you the night before you were supposed to get together with your father, that maybe Shinsou was serious about not wanting you around while he went through his training.
It didn’t help lessen the blow in the slightest bit. It felt like someone was stepping on your chest and every time you felt like maybe you had some semblance of a grasp on your own emotions, the foot would step down harder. You felt crippled without Shinsou in your life. Your phone felt like it had less purpose, even if you had texted a few of your other friends to attempt to try and fill in the void that Shinsou had left. You had missed the late night texts, staying up video calling with him and seeing the sleep slip further from his eyes during his studies. Your grades this past week alone had slipped quite quickly as you were unable to focus on a single word a teacher was saying.
Your zombielike state had concerned not only your teachers, your classmates, but also your mother. While you tried to let it seem like it wasn’t bothering you that you had lost your best friend, you knew that your mother knew you better than that. What was worse was that she was probably keeping your father up to date on the current situation. You hadn’t informed either of your parents the details of your breakup with Hitoshi, and you hadn’t planned on it. The last thing you or your family needed was your father in jail for attempting to murder a minor.
When the weekend came around, you were half-tempted to cancel on your plans with your father. You wanted nothing more than to accept the warm embrace your bed was giving you. While it was dragging you further into your pit of despair it was at least comforting. When your phone buzzed on your nightstand you weighed the options of just going back to sleep, you knew your father was persistent and would call over and over until you woke up. For a man who was tired all the time, he didn’t understand why teenagers sleep so much over weekend breaks. Groaning, you gathered all your strength to sit up in your bed and reach over to answer your phone.
“We are still on for the movies today, right kiddo?” Your father’s voice chimed not even a second after you had picked up the phone. “I was actually thinking of maybe a rain check?” You tried to push, but you could already feel him rolling his eyes on the other side of the phone. “I know you being a teenager and you probably aren’t even out of bed yet, but as far as I’m concerned, it’s not raining.” Sarcasm dripped from his lips and you wanted nothing more than to hang up and turn your phone off. You were in no mood for his antics for the day.
“I’m just not feeling up to going today, papa.” You whispered after there was silence between the two. “I figured you would feel that way. Your mother has mentioned how you have been practically among the living dead this last week.” He recounted, making you curse under your breath for knowing your mother all too well. You had hoped that maybe, just this once she was going to keep things to herself. You should have known better. “I already bought the tickets ahead of time, and I’m not taking Hizashi or your mother.” Your father warned.
“Fine, I’ll get ready. I’ll meet you at the train station?” You sighed in defeat, knowing you would not win this battle. “Sounds good to me.” He said, before both of you hung up your phones.
…
You stood at the entrance of the train station, checking your phone a few times to make sure that your dad hadn’t texted you that he was running late. You had attempted to call him twice already and he hadn’t picked up on either attempt. A sigh escaped your lips, wishing that you had just stood your ground on staying home and sleeping the weekend away. “Y/N?” If you hadn’t been frozen in place before, the voice you had memorized locked your feet into place. Suddenly your heart was racing immensely too fast and the wind felt like it was knocked clean out of your lungs.
It wasn’t even fair, the way fate had played out for you this day. Not only did you dress in just leggings and a baggy hoodie, you had chosen a hoodie that you only now registered had belonged to Shinsou. Cursing your father for following through with your request for father daughter time, you finally looked up at the purple haired boy who seemed almost sheepish. He was wearing that cursed bomber jacket that you always loved on him, a simple t shirt and a pair of baggy jeans. In other words, he at least looked a million times more decent than you had. Not to mention your hair was thrown haphazardly into a messy bun and god knows you had dark circles developing under your eyes with your lack of sleep you had gotten last week.
“You know out of the two of us for once I think you win in the department of needing some extra weekend sleep.” Shinsou tried to ease himself into conversation with you. The tension in the air was so thick that you were sure that you were suffocating on it. You had so many questions and so many emotions flooding you at once. Your mind was swirling like you were stuck on a teacup ride that you were trapped on. When Shinsou noticed your lack of response to his statement, he returned back to his awkward state of trying to figure out how to make things go back to normal.
Anything would be better than this killer silence. He hated that it looked like you hadn’t slept in over a week and hated it even more than he was the one that caused you to be like this. His guilt was suffocating him for ever causing you this much pain for being so selfish. He wanted nothing more than to pull you into his arms and to soothe your pains away. If it hadn’t been for Aizawa he wouldn’t have even been here. He would still be in his dorm, beating himself up for ever letting this distance drift you two so far apart.
“If we don’t hurry, we are going to miss our movie.” Shinsou settled on saying, before turning to walk towards the direction of the movie theater. You whipped your head up so fast in confusion, trying to stammer out a sentence that made any sense. “Wha- I mean I’m here to meet with my dad.” You finally uttered, grabbing on his jacket sleeve to get him to stop walking. Immediately, Shinsou had reverted back to his nervous nature around you like he had once done when the two of you first started dating.
“Your father gave me the tickets and wanted me to take you out as a way to apologize for my irrational behavior. I should have never snapped at you like I did or acted as immature as I did. I can’t even begin to imagine how it was for you to just be waiting for any kind of affection on my end. I blew you off after an entire month of not seeing you. I probably made it seem like I wasn’t as excited to see you, but I was too focused on my own stupidity to realize what was right in front of me.” He blurted out quickly, stepping closer into your own proximity. “I don’t deserve any kind of forgiveness, but if I didn’t try, I’m pretty sure Aizawa-sensei would personally either kick my ass or expel me.”
You were listening intently until Shinsou had mentioned your father’s last name. “Aizawa-sensei?” You reiterated, raising a shocked eyebrow at him. “Yeah, I was surprised too when I found out. I almost lost my entire chance at getting into the hero course all together because of how pissed he was at me for hurting you.” Shinsou murmured quietly. If your jaw wasn’t open in shock before, it surely was now. Had Shinsou not been standing right in front of you currently you probably would have called your father and chewed him out for his brash behavior.
However, your heart swelled when thinking about how your father had stepped in to try and fix things between you and Shinsou. It must have been why he was so insistent on you coming to meet with him today. You had to remember to shoot him a text later calling him out on his conniving ways. “I know it’s probably embarrassing, your father stepped in on the situation, but honestly if it wasn’t for him I would have never had the courage to do this.” He said, grabbing your hand to hold in his own without hesitation. His hands were ice cold like they always had been, sending a chill up your spine.
“I wanted to be a hero that you could be proud of but instead I turned into a selfish loser-” He continued, that is until you grabbed the collar of his jacket and pulled his lips into your own. The chaste kiss made the nervousness melt away from both you and Shinsou. He relaxed into your touch, snaking his arms around your waist. You kissed him like you were afraid you would never get to kiss him again. When you were laying in your bed days after your fight you wanted nothing more than to be in the purple haired boys embrace. You had feared the last time you had seen him, the month before, was the last happy memory of being together. The time he had finally told you he loved you and the last time you two brushed your lips against one another's.
Tears flowed down your cheeks when the two of you had pulled away, gasping for breaths. You felt dizzy from all the overwhelming emotions you were thrown through but you wouldn’t give anything up for this moment right here. For the boy you loved more than yourself to be in front of you. He cupped your face and wiped the tears that were escaping your eyes with his calloused fingers. “I’m here, and I am not going anywhere this time. I will fight everyday to be the hero you need me to be. I love you more than anything and I hate that I had to destroy something so beautiful to realize it.” Shinsou stated, pressing his forehead against your own. You nodded while sniffling, desperately grasping your hands onto his shirt.
You threw your arms around his neck and pulled him into your embrace and he welcomed this touch. He ran his hand over your head and rubbed circles into your back. You couldn’t see but Shinsou had also started silently into your hoodie, getting intoxicated by your scent.
Aizawa smiled to himself to see the two of you entangled in each other’s embrace at the entrance of the train station. People were walking by without having the slightest of a clue as to what was going on between the two. Aizawa took out his phone and snapped a picture of the two of you in your loving embrace. You’d probably scold him for it later, but he knew you would appreciate it later in years. He would chew out Shinsou once again on Monday, before following it up with the news of participating in Class 1-A and Class 1-B’s field training. Then warning him if he ever hurt you again he wouldn’t get off so easy. However, for now, he headed back to Heights Alliance to give you two the space you desperately needed.
To be continued...? 👀

Miraclous: Rise of Anatis 49
And here's Guitar Villain. I hope you like it. The next chapter is the silencer inspired chapter, which I'm very exited for but right now, it's 3 am so I will be going to bed and I'll start it tomorrow. Also I can't believe this story's nearly at 50 chapters :D Anyway my bed calls!
-----------------------------------------------
Chapter Forty-Nine: Guitar Villain Vs XY (2/2)
Luka smiled as he watched Jagged play his guitar. He was stood next to Penny and Bob Roth as Jagged played a solo for his new song. It was a rock song, devoted to Anatis and Lady Noir. Luka had to admit that it captured their energy perfectly and it made him wonder if Jagged had a similar ability to himself. He found it fascinating to watch Jagged as he easily moved his fingers across the fret-board. He really was an amazing guitarist. Maybe one of the best of all time. The rockstar was wearing his signature Eiffel tower glasses and was headbanging as he rocked out as well as jumping around, making Luka smile. He really did have a lot of energy. He jumped and did a power slide, throwing his head back.
"My miraculous!" He sang, bringing the song to an end as Luka clapped along with Penny clapped before Jagged jumped and handed Penny his guitar. Bob Roth, on the other hand, didn't look so impressed but Luka got the impression that it was hard to impress the guy. "So what do you think of the first single on my new album? Can you feel it, Bob? Isn't it killer?"
"Not bad, Jagged, not bad," Bob replied before lifting his hand into the air a little as Luka took a seat on the sofa. Fang climbed up and rested his head on Luka's lap. He smiled and gently patted the crocodile as he watched the adults. "But if you really want to be making something killer, let's talk about this duet with Mr XY,"
"No way, he's not a rocker," Jagged replied, frowning as Luka rolled his eyes. XY's music wasn't even music at all. There was no heart or emotion. It was just boring and repetitive. It's almost as bad as Lila's heart song if you could call it a song. Luka thought it more as screeching, like a distress animal trying to call for help or foxes in mating season. "He's a baby. I bet he doesn't even shave yet. Nah, if you want me to do a duet with someone young, it should be my kid. He's got real talent,"
"Yet not even signed," Bob argued, throwing a glare at Luka. However, he quickly looked away when Fang let out a low growl. "Besides, this 'baby' just pushed you out of the number one sale spot!"
"And?" Jagged asked, shrugging. "Doesn't make him a true musician like me. Penny and Luka think what I'm doing is Rockstar material. They think I'm killer,"
"Penny might be your agent and that boy might be your son but I'm your real boss," Bob growled, making Jagged glare at him and Penny step back. Instantly, Fang moved off the sofa and toward them in a protective manner. He pinched his nose before sighing. "Listen, Bob Roth records can't afford to be No.2 in sales or rep a No.2 rockstar! Get real, Jagged! You gonna have to modernize your music, change the way you look... Get a whole new style!"
"Tsk," Jagged replied clearly annoyed as he crossed his arms. "You wanna talk about real? I'm a genuine rock and roller, Bob, not some pop star in diapers! I'm a real artist with real talent. Even my hair is real! And that's what people love about me!"
He grabbed his guitar and slid over to Fang.
"Isn't that right, Fang? Yeah," He asked the crocodile, grinning before jumping up. "And the artwork you came up with my new album is a waste of my time! Seriously, Bob, what is this trash? It looks like a perfume ad!"
"And that's what people want these days!" Bob replied, poking Jagged in the chest.
"Well, I don't!" Jagged replied, frowning. "Honestly, Bob, I don't get what your issue is! Last year, I got to number one without looking like that! My album covers are suppose to be raw to the bone, exuding the smell of sweat and leather!"
"You do know, don't you, that if your next album doesn't rank no.1 in the charts, it will be the last one you'll ever do in Bob Roth Records,"
"Doesn't seem like a loss to me," Luka muttered, causing Bob to glare at him.
"I'd rather put out nothing at all rather then sing some pathetic duet with that baby faced nobody," Jagged muttered, turning his back on Bob as he glared. Penny held up her hands as she stepped in to control the situation.
"Bob, Jagged and I had an idea," She replied, taking his arm and causing him to look at her. "It's concept is modern but it also respects Jagged's own 'rugged' style,"
"The school girl who made these glasses has some real talent. I've commissioned her for several pieces since she made these and she's real good friends with my son so I know she is killer too," Jagged grinned, holding out his glasses as Luka glanced over. Is he gonna suggest what he thinks he is? "She gets my style. She'll design the cover of my new album,"
"A school girl?" Bob asked, unimpressed.
"Luka, show Bob your jacket," Jagged grinned, causing Luka to stand up and grab his jacket from the hook. He pull it on and walked over, causing Bob to look at it. His expression quickly turned from unimpressed to fascinated. "Marinette is a totally killer designer with a real bright future,"
"She also is the same age as the target audience, Bob," Penny explained, making him nod as he listened. "Here's her address,"
"Alright but just think about this duet with Mr XY," Bob replied, taking the address and leaving the room as Luka took off the jacket and flopped back onto the sofa.
"Why not contact Marinette yourself or commission her through her website?" Luka asked, making Jagged eyes go big. He forgot that Jagged didn't know about the website yet. Marinette was still shy about telling people, especially with the whole Reflekdoll incident. Luckily, they redid the photo shoot and got some really nice pictures. Juleka modeled most of the outfits but he also modeled a few of them. They even got some great photos of them together. He was really happy to see Juleka doing it. She honestly did amazingly. "Marinette's gonna kill me,"
"Yep," Penny laughed before sitting down. "Since it's for Jagged's album cover, it works a little different to how we get his outfits but I'm sure Marinette will agree and do great. Though I wish Bob would drop the whole duet thing with XY,"
"Why does he keep pushing it?" Luka asked, frowning, Penny sighed.
"Probably because XY is his son," Penny sighed, making Luka frown. He didn't know that. "Either way, I can't wait to see what Marinette will come up with,"
"Same here," Luka smiled as Jagged handed him a guitar. He smiled and took it before the rockstar grabbed his own and took a seat. The two of them began to jam, causing Penny to smile.
~Later that Day~
"Marinette is here," Penny smiled, showing the girl in. Luka smiled and waved at her, making her wave back at him. He could tell she felt nervous but it wasn't because she was in front of Jagged Stone or Bob Roth. It felt like she was worried that they wouldn't like her design and honestly her music sounded a little dull, like her normal creativity had been sucked out of her. He frowned a little as she walked over to them and held out the cover design. Jagged took it and instantly frowned, holding it by the corner. Luka frowned as he saw it too. It was nicely designed but definitely not Jagged or Marinette's style. In fact, it looks very similar to the XY album cover and like a perfume ad but that explained Marinette's song.
"What happened to the raw impulsive artistry that made this?" Jagged asked, dropping it to the floor but Marinette didn't even react. She was not proud of her work at all. She sighed and stepped forward.
"Yeah... about that," She mumbled, rubbing the back of her head. "Mr Roth told me-"
"Marinette's young, Jagged!" Bob gasped, pushing her out of the way. Instantly, Luka narrowed his eyes and gripped his guitar tightly. "She represents the target audience. She's come up with a modern concert that's exactly what you need,"
"You mean you pressured her into making that for what you need," Luka stated, making Bob glare at him as Marinette looked a little surprise. She pressed her forefingers together. So he was spot on then.
"Doesn't it look a lot like the cover of that YZ guy?" Jagged smirked, clearly knowing what Bob had tried to before he turned to Marinette. "Marinette, don't listen to Bob. Could you do another one... you know Jagged Style?"
"Yeah... sure," She replied but Bob placed his hand on her shoulder and growled a little, causing Luka to narrow his eyes again. He was ready to jump and pull her away from Bob if he moved his hand any farther. "But I don't know if..."
"You're my girl, Marinette. Remember... raw, impulsive artistry" Jagged stated, taking her hand in his before turning to Bob. "I think we're all done here, Bob,"
"No, we'-" Bob started, moving his arm around Marinette, causing her to look uncomfortable. Almost as soon as he did, Luka jumped up and easily pulled her out of his grip as Fang growled. He held her protectively as he glared at Bob backed away from Fang. Seeing the chance, Penny got up and walked over to them.
"Come with me, Marinette," Penny smiled, leading her away from Bob. Luka gave him one last glare before turning to Jagged.
"I'm gonna head out with Marinette," He explained, getting a nod of him. "See you later,"
"Of course, Luka. Just drop us a text when you want to spend some more time with your old man!" Jagged grinned as Luka put down the guitar and grabbed his jacket. He jogged over to Marinette as Penny told her not to worry, causing Bob to notice. He tried to say they weren't done but Fang growled at him again, scaring him.
"You off, Luka?" Penny asked, getting a nod of him as Marinette blinked up at him. "Well, don't be a stranger,"
"I won't be," He smiled before turning to Marinette and offered her his arm. She giggled but happily took it as they walked over to the lift.
"You didn't have to leave because of me," She mumbled, making him look at her.
"It's fine," He smiled. "I was getting hungry and the music in the room was getting pretty loud so I could with the fresh air,"
"Ah, I see," She replied before doing a dramatic sigh. "And here I thought you just wanted to spend some time with me?"
"I mean um..." He gasped, going bright red and making her laugh. "I cou-could get you lunch if you like?"
"Hmm, you know I'd like that," She smiled as they walked in the lift. She leaned over and pressed the button as she sighed. "But I really should get started on this album cover,"
"Oh right, yeah... of course," He mumbled, going a little red. She giggled a little.
"But maybe we could hang out tomorrow?" She asked, making him glance at her. "I know it's not quite lunch today but it would be nice to spend some time with you,"
"Y-Yeah?" He asked. His cheeks were still a little bit flushed. "That would be great,"
"It's a date then," She grinned, smirking as he went a little red. She giggled as she thought it was adorable. The door opened in the lift, causing them to step out and head towards the exit. Marinette stopped and leaned up, kissing Luka's cheek. "I'll see you tomorrow then,"
"Kay," He muttered, a little dazed. She smiled and walked, lifting his hand to wave as she left. He stood there for a few seconds as he smiled dreamily before Tikki poked him in his side, making him blink as Adrien got out of his car.
"Hey, Luka," He smiled, waving to him as he walked over. "You ok? Your cheeks are red,"
"O-oh I'm fine," Luka grinned as Chloe rushed past him and hugged Adrien, causing him to smile and greet her back. She noticed Luka and grinned.
"Hey, Luka. Are you wanting to meet Jagged Stone as well?" She asked, making him chuckle a little. If only she knew. "I've arranged for me and Adrien to meet him! If you want you can come with us!!"
"Oh, that's nice of you, Chloe," Luka smiled. "But I was just gonna get a bite to eat and head home,"
"Ooh, why don't you have something from the restaurant?" She gasped, grabbing his hand and dragging him inside with Adrien, who just shrugged. Luka went to say he couldn't afford it, making Chloe tut. "Oh, don't sweat it, Luka. I'll get it for you. It's the least I can do given how kind you've been to me. Besides, you're my friend,"
"Thank you but I really don't mind getting food else where," He replied, noticing Bob Roth sat doing an interview near by. He glared towards him a little.
"Honestly, it's fine," She grinned, pressing the lift button. "Daddy won't care as he gives me anything I want,"
"Well, I gu-" Luka started as Bob Roth mentioned something about Jagged doing a duet with XY but a growl cut him, causing everyone to look in direction it came from. Luka gasped as he saw a giant purple dragon that looks similar to Fang before noticing the man below it. He was dressed in a dark gray sleeved top with a turtle neck collar and yellow flames going up the sides. It also had pointed edges on the shoulders and the sleeves were purple with black fishnets on them. He had a dark gray belt with purple spikes on it around his waist. Her pants were dark gray with yellow flames up going up with his legs. His gloves and boots were dark gray with purple spikes on each of them. His hair was in long dreadlocks and was light pink with a dark pink ombre. He had black face paint around his eyes which resembled the face paint of Gene Simmons of Kiss. He was holding his guitar, which was a shiny purple with two black points instead of it's circular form.
"From now on, you call him Guitar Villain and he'll never do a duet with Mr XY!" The akumatized Jagged declared, causing Luka to stare at him in shock. "In fact, soon there won't even be a Mr XY! Rocking Riff, Baby!"
He played his guitar while head banging, causing a purple energy to appear and hit Bob Roth and the woman who was interviewing him. They started to rock out and jump around as if at a metal concert, causing Guitar Villain to smirk.
"Soon there will be nothing but guitar villain fans," He declared, moving his hand in front of him. "The one and only rocker on earth,"
"Dad," Luka muttered as he held up his hands in the horns symbol.
"Dad?" Adrien questioned, causing Luka to turn and face him and Chloe, who looked at him with surprise. He had forgotten they were there. Adrien blinked and looked over at him. "Jagged is yo-"
"Please don't tell anyone," Luka gasped, surprising them as the lift door opened. He pushed them in and pressed the upper floor. "I'll explain everything later but go and hide. I'm gonna alert the akuma app and hide behind that plant pot,"
"Huh? But isn't it sa-" Chloe started but the door to the lift closed before she could finish the sentence. Luka moved behind the plant pot and ducked down as Guitar Villain began to walk down the stairs. He took out his phone and activated the akuma alert app, even though he was already on the scene. It would stop Adrien and Chloe from questioning him about that part.
"Yeah! Guitar Villain!" Guitar Villain declared as he walked to the door with Fang flying next to him. "Whoo!"
"Well, at least he's kind of himself," Tikki muttered as she flew out of his pocket.
"Still it's like Hawkmoth has an issue with my family," Luka muttered, frowning. Hawkmoth has targeted Rose and his mum once and he's targeted Juleka twice. Now he's gone after his dad. If he didn't know any better, he'd think that Hawkmoth knows who he really is. However, he knows that he's been really careful with his identity. He let out a sigh before looking at Tikki. "Time to face the music. Tikki, spots on!"
He transformed into Anatis and rushed outside as the doorman head-banged. He threw up his yoyo and swung onto the rooftops. He looked around and saw that a number of people, pigeons and cars had been hit by Guitar Villain, causing them to be forced to head-bang. He frowned to himself before swinging over to the Fontaine du Palmier, landing on it as Guitar Villain hit a mother and her child with his beam.
"You know moshing is really bad for people's necks!" He declared, causing Guitar Villain to face him.
"Trying to crash my party, bug boy?" He asked, taking out his guitar. "Awesome solo!"
He played his guitar, directing a golden beam towards Anatis. He jumped up and moved out of the way as it hit it, causing it to fall. Guitar Villain didn't seem bothered by it's destruction and kept playing his guitar, trying to hit Anatis with the beam. He jumped over a number of cars to get out of the way of the attack and took out his yoyo, going to throw it at Guitar Villain but before he could, green fire was directed at him. He jumped out of the way and looked up, seeing Fang flying the sky. He opened his mouth again and breathed fire towards Anatis, causing him to run out of the way. Guitar Villain smirked and directed his guitar at Anatis as he tried to dodge Fang's fire, hitting him with the golden beam that pinned him to the wall of a building.
"Welcome to my fan club, Baby," Guitar Villain chucked as he repeatedly hit him against the wall before letting him fall to the ground. Anatis jumped up and ran as Fang tried to blow a fire at him again. He jumped over a car but he was thrown back by the awesome solo beam. He landed against a lamp post and fell to the ground as Fang flew over and when to breathe fire at him. However, Lady Noir jumped in front of him and redirected the fire with her baton, allowing him to get to his feet.
"Annie, you ok?!" She asked as he dusted himself down.
"Yeah, I'm fine," He replied, glancing up at Fang as it flew around and turned back round. "Glad you turned up when you did. Your baton would work nicely right now,"
"Sounds like a plan. Give me a step up?" She replied before running towards him. He placed his hands to get, allowing her to step on them before he brought them up, throwing her upwards and towards Fang. She threw her baton as he opened his mouth, trapping it in between his jaws. She grabbed held of it but Fang shook her off, causing her to fall down. She moved her body around and jumped off the side of a building as Fang snapped his jaw, sending her baton flying. She caught it and landed on the ground, glancing around as Guitar Villain jumped on Fang and flew over to them.
"You're wasting my time!" He declared, glaring at them. "I have a concert to go to,"
With that, he flew off, making Lady Noir raise an eyebrow before the two heroes jumped up and ran across the roofs to try and catch up with him.
"So who is the rockstar wannabe?" She asked, causing Anatis to frown.
"It's Jagged Stone," He replied, making her gasp. "He's calling himself Guitar Villain but I'm not sure why he got akumatized,"
"Damn, maybe it had something to do with Mr XY," She replied, making him look at her with a questioning look. "Oh, Mr XY gave an interview and basically insulted Jagged. He called him as has-been and Ragged. He then implied that Jagged didn't know real music, stole his catchphrase... you know the whole 'killer' thing and basically dared him to come to his gig, saying he would give him front row tickets in case Jagged couldn't hear because of his age,"
"Rude," Anatis gasped, looking annoyed. "Jagged is the true musician here and he's not that old!"
"Are you secretly a Jagged fan?" Lady Noir grinned.
"That's no secret, Kitten," He grinned as they landed on a building. They could see Fang in the distance as he flew around the Eiffel tower. "Why is it always the Eiffel tower?"
"No idea," Lady Noir replied, shrugging. "So what's the plan?"
"Well, his power comes from his guitar," Anatis muttered, glancing up at the dragon. "We've gotta keep him from performing,"
"Well, let's put a stop to this one man band," Lady Noir grinned before the two of them jumped over to the Eiffel tower and scaled it. They got to the top and climbed over the gate just as Guitar Villain went to hit Théo Barbot with his 'rocking riff' attack. Anatis threw his yoyo and pulled him away before he could be hit. Guitar Villain growled and glared at them as he saw them.
"You two again!" He huffed, narrowing his eyes. "To the TV studio, Fang,"
He jumped onto Fang and flew off, making Anatis to frown.
"He's gonna get there before us," Lady Noir gasped as Anatis took out his yoyo. "We can't let him get to XY,"
"I'm on it," He replied, dialing a number and holding the yoyo to his ear. "Hello, it's Anatis. Can you put me through to whoever is interviewing XY? Yeah, I'll hold,"
He rolled his eyes a little, making Lady Noir snort with laughter.
"Ah, Ms Chamuck, it's Anatis," He stated as Lady Noir turned to Theo and made sure he was ok. "Sorry to interrupt you like this but there is an akuma after Mr XY. He's on his way to the studios now so I need you to evacuate the studio. Me and Lady Noir will be there shortly,"
He hung up and walked over to Lady Noir.
"Time to go," He stated, making her nod. "You ok, Mr Barbot?"
"Y-Yeah, just a little shaken," He replied, standing up. "Thanks for saving me,"
"No worries," Anatis smiled before the two of heroes jumped down and headed towards the studio. The two landed outside the staff entrance as Alec Cataldi came out with XY. Anatis almost got distracted from the sound of XY's heart song. It was mechanical and boring. He shook his head and walked over before he gently took his arm as Lady Noir kept a look out. "Mr XY, please come with us. We have to get you to safety,"
"So what's this guitar villain gonna do?" He asked, yanking his arm free from Anatis, making him frown as he moved his hands. "Blow me away with his 'evil' guitar solo?"
"Yeah," The two heroes replied, making XY roll his eyes. Anatis took a deep breathe as Lady Noir placed her hand on his arm.
"Once we've catch Guitar Villain, we'll get you to the Eiffel tower just in time for your concert," Lady Noir smiled but XY didn't even look bother. It made Anatis grit his teeth. This guy was getting on his nerve even more with each passing second.
"Pft, who even cares?" He declared, causing Lady Noir to stare at him in surprise. Both her and Anatis were thinking the same thing. How was this guy even considered a musician? "My roadies can just project my image onto stage. Live concerts were so ten minutes ago,"
Literally as the words left his mouth, he was suddenly swooped up into Fang's mouth, causing both heroes to blink in surprise before Anatis let out a sigh as they heard XY cry out. Alec ran off seconds later, thinking the dragon come after him.
"I suppose we better go save him," He mumbled, making Lady Noir pout a little.
"Do we have?" She asked, making him chuckle. "He's so annoying... live concerts are so ten minutes ago... how lame,"
"Don't get me started, Kitten," He stated as they jumped up to the rooftops. "It hurts my soul just thinking about it,"
"Well, you are the embodiment of creativity," She giggled as they jumped across before stopping. "So we're back to step one,"
"Unfortunately," He replied, stretching. "I say we go and observe since we don't know what he has planned for XY,"
"Hmm... are you sure this isn't just you punishing Mr XY for his lack of respect to music?" Lady Noir asked, grinning. Anatis gave her a smirk before jumping to another building. The two of them landed on a building opposite the Eiffel and crouched down to observe Guitar Villain and his hostage. Fang was flying around the Eiffel Tower as fans began to arrive. There was already a number of people out there though. It looked like it would be a sell out show, making Anatis roll his eyes a little. He stopped as he noticed a plank of wood been put out on the top of the Eiffel tower. Jagged walked out and played his 'rocking riff', hitting the audience with it. He made a devil horns sign and stuck out his tongue before walking off the plank and grabbed XY, who was tied up and shoved him onto the plank. "What is he doing?"
"What he does best," Anatis replied, frowning a little as he glanced up. Lady Noir looked at him and rose a brow in a questioning way. "He's putting on a show and I think XY is the main act,"
"Does this mean we get to go backstage?" Lady Noir grinned, causing Anatis to look at her and smirk back.
"Well, we do have VIP passes," He replied, standing up. She jumped to her feet as well. "Let's gate crash this gig,"
"Rock'n'Riff, baby," She grinned before the two jumped across the roofs again and onto the Eiffel tower. They began to climb the tower as the crowd cheered and yelled. Guitar Villain appeared, standing close to the top of the tower as he watched them.
"Hello Paris!" He shouted before jumping down and landing on the plank of wood that XY was stood on. He smirked darkly, causing the younger musician to step away from him in fear. "So you said your music is the only killer music around. Is that right?!"
"I d-didn't mean it!" XY gasped as he continued to back away from Guitar Villain, getting closer to the edge as he did. "Li-listen, Mr G-Guitar... we can... do the duet your style!"
He screamed as he almost lost his footing. He looked down and gulped as Guitar Villain jumped onto Fang and flew behind him. He tapped the plank of wood, making it wobble. XY whimpered and gasped as Guitar Villain jumped off Fang and smirked at him.
"Too late," He declared, stalking over to XY. "I'm going to show you what real killer music really sounds like! Ultimate solo!!"
He began to play his guitar, causing waves of green energy to spread out from his guitar. As soon as they hit XY, they began to make the plank he was stood on bounce up and down in a violent manner, causing the man to whimper in fear.
"Stop it! Please!" He gasped as Guitar Villain kept playing. As soon as it came near the heroes, it made them almost loose their footing and when it hit the audience, it knocked a number of them down. Anatis frowned as he held onto the side of the Eiffel tower.
"XY is gonna fall," Lady Noir gasped as she gripped on part of the tower too. The solo came to a stop, allowing the heroes to be able to let go of the tower. Anatis took out his yoyo as Lady Noir stepped over to him and held onto him. He moved his free hand around her waist and threw his yoyo, grappling them up through the inner part of the tower. However, Fang swooped in and bit the string, causing the two heroes to fall. Lady Noir took out her baton and extended it, trapping inbetween the edges of the tower. She held on it and looked down as Anatis continued to fall. "Anatis!"
Fang came back around and flew over to him, causing him to throw his yoyo. The dragon snapped it's jaws around it and flew off as Anatis held on, causing Lady Noir to let a sigh of relief. He jumped onto Fang's back and wrapped the yoyo's string around his mouth so he could control him.
"Easy there, Fang," He stated, causing the dragon to look at him as a little bit of recognition appeared in it's eyes. He smiled as he made on attempt to throw him off. "Good Fang. Let's go. We have a stuck kitty to rescue,"
He pulled on the string to direct Fang, causing him to fly down and towards Lady Noir. It flew through one of the holes in the tower and underneath Lady Noir, just as she let go. She landed on the dragon and catch her baton before Anatis flew it out of the tower. He pulled the string, getting Fang to turn around and fly back towards it as Lady Noir got up.
"You ok?" Anatis asked as she held onto his arms and nodded. He glanced over at her before lifting one of his arms. "Step over here and put your arm around my waist. It will be safer for you,"
"T-Thanks," She blushed a little before moving under his arm and placing her arm around his waist so he was stood behind her. It was a lot easier for her to hold onto him this way. "So the bug tamed the dragon?"
"Fang's a big softie really, even as a dragon," He grinned as he pulled on the strings again, causing Fang to fly down again. He frowned as he glanced over at Guitar Villain and XY.
"So how do you like the concert?" Guitar Villain asked, smirking at XY who was shaking in fear. "Still think your music is the only killer music out there?"
"N-No! Please... do-don't!" XY gasped as a loud crack was heard. Anatis frowned as he looked over, noticing a crack in the plank. It wouldn't take long to break. Guitar Villain went to use his 'awesome solo' move but Anatis pulled the strings again, directing Fang over to him.
"Not so fast!" He declared, flying Fang over low enough and close enough to cause Guitar Villain to dive out of the way.
"My dragon!" He gasped as he landed on the floor before he jumped as Anatis turned Fang back around.
"Anatis! Lady Noir! Hurry!!" XY begged as Lady Noir leaned a little closer to Anatis.
"Nice job," She smiled before Anatis pulled Fang to the side to avoid Guitar Villain's attack. Lady Noir glanced over and scanned her eyes over Guitar Villain. He didn't seem to have any item on him other then his guitar, which must be where the akuma is. "I think the akuma is in his guitar,"
"I agree but it's not gonna be easy getting to it," Anatis replied as he moved the strings to dodge the attacks. "I think it's time to go backstage for real!"
She nodded as he pulled the string and directed Fang towards the tower. They crash straight into it, trapping Fang in the tower and throwing them off him. They landed on the other side of the tower's rafters before they got up.
"You ok?" Lady Noir asked as Anatis dusted himself down.
"Yeah, you?" He replied, getting a nod of her before he turned to Fang. "Sorry, Fang,"
Fang gave him a look before the two of them jumped up through the inside of the tower. Anatis threw his yoyo as they got closer to Guitar Villain and XY and pulled himself onto a platform on the outside of the tower. Lady Noir landed next to him and frowned as Guitar Villain taunted XY.
"Or is it too awesome for you?" He asked as XY yelled out in fear. Anatis narrowed his eyes as he watched the scene. As much as he didn't like XY or his music, he didn't deserve to be tormented or fall to his death. He took out his yoyo and threw it up in the air.
"Lucky charm!" He called, causing a can of hair spray to appear out of thin air. He caught it and frowned a little as Lady Noir rose an eyebrow at him. He glanced at it and read the label. "Extreme fixing gel?"
"I never knew you wanted to be a hairstylist," Lady Noir grinned as Guitar Villain began to play his guitar again. The green wave hit them, making them wobble. Lady Noir gasped and held onto Anatis as he grabbed the side of the tower and looked around in his luck vision. Guitar Villain's hair highlighted, making him smirk. "And here I just thought you were an artist,"
"What can I say? I'm a jack of all trades," He grinned before flicking his hair. "I even do my own hair. Mind lending me a paw?"
"I'm on it," She grinned, jumping up and running towards Guitar Villain. She clashed her baton against his guitar and used it to redirect his attack as Anatis climbed up on the tower before narrowing his eyes as he waited for an opening. Guitar Villain managed to get her baton out of her hands, causing it to bounce closer to XY before he directed his 'awesome' solo attack towards her.
"Cataclysm!" She shouted, holding out her hand to protect herself. The beam hit her hand but began to freak out as soon as it touched her cataclysm, allowing her to jump over Guitar Villain and power slide to her baton. She picked it up and jumped back over to him, trapping him with her baton. Anatis dived down and ran over just as Guitar Villain threw her off and began to play his guitar to attack her, head banging as he did. Anatis shook the can and jumped over him, landing in front of him and spray his hair with the hairspray. Guitar Villain yelled and dropped his guitar, trying to pull his hair out of his face as he stumbled around blindly. Anatis smirked and went to grab the guitar as XY yelled.
"H-Hey, don't forget about me!" He yelled as the plank cracked and sent him plummeting down. "Help!"
Anatis threw his yoyo and wrapped it around his leg, causing him to bounce like he was on a bungy jump. Anatis pulled the string, causing XY to fall straight onto the guitar and break it in half. The akuma escaped from it as he took out his yoyo and threw it, catching it. He pulled his yoyo back to him and pressed it, releasing the purified butterfly back into the world before he threw the hairspray can into the air and called out for the cure. It burst into the magical swarm and dashed around Paris, fixing all the damage before it swarmed around the Eiffel tower and finally XY, Guitar Villain, Lady Noir and Anatis, moving them to a safe area on the tower. Guitar Villain fell on his knees and turned back into Jagged as XY gasped. He stood up and looked around confused before he noticed the two heroes.
"Anatis! Lady Noir! What are you two doing here?" He gasped, excited before he noticed XY. "Oh... wait... you two aren't XY fans are you? I mean I can respect it if you are but I hoped-"
"What is he doing here?!" XY gasped, cutting Jagged off as Anatis sighed. Lady Noir leaned over to him.
"I don't think he remembers," She whispered in his ear as he nodded before he turned to XY.
"He came to tell you that you completely underestimated the power of his music," He explained, causing XY to look like a fish as he gaped at them,
"This guy is crazy!" He gasped, pointing to him as Jagged dusted himself down. He placed his hands on his hips and turned his head towards XY, smiling a little. "He's insane!"
"Thank you," He replied, making Anatis roll his eyes in a playful manner as Lady Noir grinned before she gasped with widen eyes.
"Oh no! I have to go!!" She gasped, causing the three guys to raise an eyebrow at her. "I have a deadline!"
She ran towards the edge and jumped off it before bouncing through the city. Anatis shook his head and turned to Jagged as he placed his hand on Anatis' shoulder.
"That's one funny feline," He grinned, causing Anatis to groan and face palm.
~Next Day~
Marinette took a deep breathe as she rode the lift up to Jagged's room. She was feeling super nervous but she couldn't tell if it was because she was about to present her art work to Jagged or because she had a date with Luka later. Well, kind of date. She wasn't sure if it was a date but she wanted it to be. However, she was still sure he only liked her as a friend but she did like him a lot. However, she also liked Anatis a lot and she knew Anatis liked her. She went bright red as she remembered him saying that he liked her but then frowned as she remembered he had to reject her. She shook her head and took another deep breathe, vowing to enjoy her time with Luka regardless of if it was a date or not. There was nothing wrong with taking things slow and hanging out as friends. Besides, she was still moving on from Adrien. It wouldn't be fair to Luka to try and date him when she was a hundred percent over her crush on Adrien. She was getting there though. The door pinged, making her gasp before she stepped out and walked over to the door. She knocked on it and smiled as Penny opened it a few minutes later.
"Hello Marinette," She smiled, letting her in. Marinette gulped and followed her as she noticed Jagged sat on the sofa next to Fang as Bob Roth paced up and down the room. She also noticed that Luka wasn't hanging out here today but she shouldn't be surprised. He was still getting to know the rockstar after all. She couldn't expect him to be here every time. Her phone vibrated, causing her to take it out and look at it.
L: Good luck, Melody. You've got this x
She couldn't help but smile as she felt more confident. She put her phone away and turned to the rockstar. Bob Roth walked over and stood next to her as she handed the cover to Jagged. He leaned over and took it off her before leaning back and looking at it. Marinette nervously bit her lip as he studied it before a huge smile came across his face.
"Oh yeah, this is it," Jagged grinned as he held it before he looked over at Marinette. "You did it, girl. I can almost smell the leather and sweat just radiating off this design,"
He held it up to his nose and sniffed it as Marinette walked over to reveal the secret she hid in it.
"You actually are smelling it," She explained nervously as Jagged looked at her. She pointed to a sticker on the design. "I concocted a special scented sticker for your album,"
"I want it! I gotta have it!" He declared, gripping the album in his hands. "It's authentic! It's original! It's... so Jagged!"
He brought it to his face and stroked it a little as Marinette smiled. However, Bob Roth did not seem impressed at all.
"No, you can't!" He declared, making Marinette frown. "It's not what the public wa-"
"Fine then I'm out of here," Jagged declared, glaring at him. "I'm sure another record company would be perfectly happy with a number 2 chart topper,"
Bob growled as Marinette handed him back the XY album, causing him to snatch it and storm off. She smiled and turned to Jagged, who was patting Fang's head. He looked up and smiled at her.
"Great job as usual, Marinette," He grinned, making her smile "We'll send you a payment soon. Your details are still the same yeah?"
"Um yeah," She gasped, not expect to be paid but happy that she was. Penny gave her a smile and led her to the door, thanking her for doing the design. Marinette smiled and left the hotel room before getting into the lift. As soon as the door closed, she jumped up and down as Plagg flew out of her purse. "I can't believe it! I just designed Jagged Stone's new album!!"
"I'm only gonna say this once so don't expect me to repeat it," Plagg replied, making her look at him as he looked to the side a little embarrassed. "I'm proud of you, Marinette,"
"Aww, thank you Plagg," She grinned, gently cupping him in her hands and kissing his head. He smiled as the lift came to a stop and flew back into her purse as Marinette took out her phone and texted Luka before smiling to herself. Today was a good day.

salt / unpopular opinion below
plz don’t take it as personal dislike of you if you like the the stuff
....
but i think i really kind of almost hate realmyst and somewhat realmyst masterpiece edition (im talking about the specific remakes, there’s many versions out there)
....
like in some ways it’s like what might happen if they really weren’t thinking about the puzzle aspects when they made a lot of the updates to things like graphics etc.
for example the day and night cycle - so like, there’s puzzles based around different things, and there’s a bunch of puzzles that are based around light, like lighting things up is a part of the puzzle in the original. and the day night cycle obviously potentially causes some complications, but the flashlight they give to make up for that is too glare-y to let you read many things clearly, and so it interfaces awkwardly with all the puzzles where having light is important.
likewise they redid the sound, but didn’t quiet the music when other characters are speaking, so you can hear them, which the original did in part for that reason and also for technical limitations. but neither did they add subtitles. which they could have since myst 3, 4, and 4 1/2 which were all out at the time, had subtitles already. so the technology was there.
likewise they also re did the graphics and made them nicer and 3d, and ofc one of the strengths of 2d is being able to do pixel painting, so i understand not doing that. but they also didn’t pay attention very much to the rocks and plants and textures and what sort of atmosphere/biome they were going for. likewith the fog and the ferns, there’s a lot of specific central california or acadia national park vibes that you can totally play with if you want to.
and most of all - i think it’s frustrating that they say they’re a routine improvement as technology improves, when it’s really not clear if they *are* an improvement. and so it seems to give the impression that the original was somehow harder to solve or less coherent, when at least parts of ot were act easier to solve. and it seems to make people confused and feel inadequate, like “wow i can’t even quickly beat the “easier” version” when it’s not easier.

Yule Ball Dilemma // Draco Malfoy x Reader - Chapter 3
Summary: The Yule Ball is approaching and one of the main problems students are facing besides their studies is who they're going to the ball with. You couldn't care less. You believe that you'll be able to enjoy the ball whether you have a partner or not. Draco, on the other hand, has been thinking about asking you to be his partner. But what's this? Someone else is also planning on asking you out? Will they beat Draco to it or will Draco man up and ask you out first?
A/N: I scratched the original outline for this chapter and redid it and honestly this one's much better lmao. I also scratched the idea of making an epilogue and just merged it in this one because I literally can't stretch the story any longer HAHA. This is supposed to be a oneshot ffs
Sorry this took so long!!! I got sidetracked and I'm now deep in Animal Crossing (Pocket Camp, not NH I'm broke).
No beta since I literally just finished writing this and it's 6am and my beta readers are asleep orz
Anyways! I hope you enjoy it!! I'm going to try to work on the requests without stressing myself out too much because I noticed that I do that a lot :') I might start an actual series soon too but it's still 50-50.

Before you even managed to register what Macmillan just said, Draco lunged at Macmillan. His fist met the poor Hufflepuff’s face which made him stumble backward. Your eyes widened when you saw the bruising around Ernie’s right eye. He charged at Draco and punched him back, breaking his nose. You panicked at the sight of blood on Draco’s face.
“Stop it! Both of you!”
The two didn’t hear your yells as they were too busy grabbing and trying to hit the other. You tried to pull Draco away but he was too strong and you couldn’t successfully pry him away from the other boy. Everyone in the Great Hall is now looking at two fighting boys. To your luck, Professor Snape has arrived, along with Professor McGonagall and Professor Sprout. Professor McGonagall whips out her wand and separates the two with a wordless spell.
“Care to explain yourselves?” Professor Snape’s voice was the same as usual but you can sense a bit of annoyance in his tone.
“He started it!” Macmillan exclaimed, pointing a finger at Draco. “He just punched me out of nowhere!” Draco tried to raise his fist again but Snape was holding his arm back. “Professor, he was being—”
“No more reasons! Both of you.” Professor McGonagall said sternly. “20 points from Slytherin and Hufflepuff for fighting in the Great Hall. I will also talk to your head of house about your detention.” You heard groans from both the Slytherin and Hufflepuff table. Professor Snape and Professor Sprout then brought the two boys to the hospital wing as Professor McGonagall tells everyone to go back into their dormitories.
“I’m going to go check on them. You guys go ahead.” You waved your friends goodbye and went to the hospital wing. You were fuming. Not only did the two of them make a scene, but Draco also managed to make your house lose points and get himself hurt. You weren’t really mad over losing points, you were angry over the fact that Draco did something so irrational.
You swung the door to the hospital wing open and walked by Professor Snape and Professor Sprout on your way in. Once you’ve spotted the two boys, you angrily stomped towards their beds. Madam Pomfrey just left to fetch something she’ll need to lessen the swelling on the boys’ faces. They were looking away from each other, avoiding each other’s gaze. Draco tried to open his mouth to explain but you cut him off.
“What were you two thinking?” You yelled at them in frustration. Macmillan looked at you. You could barely see the blackeye around his right eye but the swelling was still there.
“Y/N, you saw it yourself. He attacked me first!” He tried to explain. “That doesn’t mean that the two of you should start fighting in the Great Hall.” You glared at him and he lowered his head. “In front of other students and teachers too! Have you got no decency?” You saw Draco about to speak up in the corner of your eye but before he could, your glare shifted from the Hufflepuff to him.
“And you!” If looks could kill, Draco would have been dead on the spot. He has never seen you this mad before. “I don’t even know what to say to you. I’m so angry at the two of you right now.” You brought your hands to your face and tried to take a deep breath. You wanted to pull your hair out of frustration. You looked at them one last time, with the same angry glare, and left. You can’t handle seeing their faces right now, you needed to cool off.
—
Draco made his way back to the common room immediately after Pomfrey had healed his broken nose. He remembered how angry you were when you showed up in the hospital wing and he was scared that you’d ignore him once you see him. He whispers the password and the bricks open to reveal the Slytherin common room.
The moment he stepped in, the first years, who were doing their essays in the common room, hurried back to their dorms. He saw his friends sitting by the fireplace and made his way towards them. They were the only ones in the common room since the moment another student saw Draco, they just hurried back to their dorms.
“Nice punch.” Theo snickered, Draco just scowled at him. It wasn’t funny.
Seeing Draco’s reaction, Blaise smacked his potions book behind Theo’s head and mouthed the words “Not funny.” This made Theo shut up, but he was still grinning like an idiot. Three figures sitting on the floor caught Draco’s attention.
He swallowed the lump in his throat when he noticed that it was you, Pansy, and Daphne. The two girls were sitting across you as you finished ranting to them. You buried your face on the pillow you were hugging. The two girls just rubbed your back in an attempt to comfort you.
You didn’t notice Draco making his way behind you since you currently have your face buried on a pillow. Pansy noticed him and stood up, followed by Daphne.
“You better make up to her.” Pansy glared at Draco and poked his chest with a finger before she left. Daphne just gave him a sad smile and left.
You noticed the sudden disappearance of the two comforting figures in front of you and raised your head to confirm that the two girls you were just talking to were now gone.
“Y/N,” You heard Draco say behind you. You felt the anger you felt earlier coming back and quickly stood up. You tried to ignore him and just make your way to the dorms when you felt him grab you by your wrist. The rest of your friends noticed this and immediately scurried back to their dorms, leaving you and Draco alone in the common room.
You pulled your hand away from his and crossed your arms across your chest with a huff.
“What do you want?”
You tried your best to look mad. You felt your heart twist when you saw the sad expression on his face. No. You’re not going to give in easily. He didn’t answer your question. Instead, he just looked at the ground, not meeting your gaze. You exhaled sharply and uncrossed your arms to bring them to your sides.
“What you did earlier was stupid, Draco.” You started. “You didn’t have to launch yourself at Macmillan. You should’ve let me handle it. Look, you even got yourself hurt and cost us points!" You exclaimed. “I promised you I wouldn’t entertain him. Did you think I would break that promise?” Your voice faltered. “Don’t you trust me?” Draco looked up to see the mixture of anger and sadness on your face, mostly sadness.
“No, It’s not that,” He grabbed both of your hands and held it in his. “I trust you, Y/N. It’s just—I just couldn’t handle seeing him so close to you.” His eyebrows furrowed in annoyance as he recalls the scene from earlier, Macmillan asking you out, a bouquet in his hand. You pulled your hands away, which made Draco frown. As much as you love him holding your hands, you need to hold onto your angry façade.
“What do you mean?”
“He fancies you, Y/N.” He explained. You were surprised. Macmillan fancies you? “I just can’t have him asking you out before I do. You know how much I hate competition.” He was now rambling. He wasn’t even looking at you directly and you noticed the shade of pink starting to spread on his cheeks up to the tip of his ears.
“I was planning to ask you out myself, I just couldn’t find the right moment—” He stopped when he heard you laughing. Your angry expression was now replaced with a smile. He felt his heart pounding in his chest when he saw your face. You wiped a tear from your eye and looked up to him. His entire face was now pink and you couldn’t help but laugh again.
"You could've just asked me. You know I'll never say no to you." You told him as you tried to calm yourself down. He grabs your hands once more and holds them. “It’s not just that.” You shot him a confused look.
“What—” Before you could finish your sentence, he presses his lips against yours. Your eyes widen. He pulls away to see your reaction. Just like him, you were furiously blushing. Your mouth was hanging open from the surprise and Draco couldn’t help but chuckle.
“I’ve always fancied you, Y/N.” He cups your cheek with his hand as you stare at him, mouth open. You were still processing the fact that Draco kissed you. Not only that, but he also confessed that he fancies you. You continued to stare at him as you brought a hand to his face. Your thumb gently caressing the bruise by his lips as you examined his face.
You couldn’t believe it. You couldn’t believe this is happening. You tried so hard to push away your feelings for him because you were scared and in denial. You were scared that he wouldn’t feel the same and you would end up ruining your friendship. A friendship you both cherished.
A smile appeared on your lips as everything finally sank in. He likes you back. You prayed that you weren’t dreaming. If this was a dream, you’d prefer not to wake up. Your eyes met his. He was looking at you with so much adoration you might just melt.
“Well then,” You broke the silence. “Are you going to ask me now or not?”
Draco raised an eyebrow. “What?” He has completely forgotten about the Yule Ball at this point. All that matters to him is you in front of him.
“As your date, silly.” You softly laughed and he swore his heart fluttered. “Are you going to ask me out as your date for the Yule Ball?” He chuckled as he wrapped his hands around your waist.
“I have a better question, actually.” He leaned towards your face, your foreheads touching.
“Will you be my girlfriend?”
You giggled as you wrap your arms around his neck. You leaned forward, planting a quick kiss on his lips.
“Yes.”
Draco started humming your favorite tune. The two of you closed your eyes, foreheads touching once more as you slowly swayed to his humming.
Meanwhile, by the stairs, an annoyed Theo hands a grinning Pansy twenty galleons. The two of them made a bet on which of the two would confess first. They tried to get Blaise to join but he didn’t want to. Theo was confident that it was going to be you, while Pansy believed that it would be Draco. The four (Pansy, Daphne, Blaise, and Theo) watched as the two of you wallowed in your moment.
—
It was finally time for the Yule Ball. You examined your reflection in the mirror. You felt gorgeous in your gown. Not to mention the makeup look Pansy gave you made you feel more beautiful. You smiled as you imagined what Draco’s reaction would be when he sees you. You were confident that he would probably be head over heels for you.
“Y/N, you look stunning!” You saw Pansy’s figure appear behind your reflection. Pansy looked gorgeous. You shot her back a compliment and she just waved it off.
“I still can’t believe Blaise asked you out and you said yes.” You said as Pansy just rolled her eyes.
“Don’t get it all twisted, Y/N. I only said yes because the ball was close and I don’t want to attend the ball alone.” She said as she crossed her arms across her chest. “Unlike you, not all of us have a boyfriend that could take them to the ball.” Pansy grinned as she noticed your face turning red. Ever since you and Draco got together, your friends would always find a way to rub it in. You don’t really mind but it doesn’t fail to make you flustered.
“Ugh, I just can’t believe all it would take for the two of you to realize your feelings for each other is to have Draco punch someone.” The two of you laughed. You took one last look in front of the mirror before you headed downstairs.
The moment Draco saw you walking down the stairs, he swore you were the most beautiful thing his eyes had ever landed on. You chuckled at the sight of Draco staring at you with his mouth open. He shook his head as you approached closer. He took your hand and kissed it. You blushed at the gesture and held onto his arm when he offered it.
“Don’t you look lovely tonight, darling.” He mentioned as you and your friends made your way to the Great Hall. You caught yourself blushing again once the pet name escaped his lips. Ever since you started dating, he would refrain from calling you anything but pet names. He loved the way you get flustered whenever he says it. You gathered yourself together, trying to brush off the blood rushing on your face.
“You don’t look bad yourself, Draco.” You replied. He looked ravishing in his dress robes. He chuckled at your response and planted a kiss on your cheek.
“Oi, save that for later when no one’s around.” You heard Blaise say behind you, Pansy in his arm cackling. You just stuck your tongue out at him and returned your attention to Draco.
When you entered the Great Hall, you almost couldn’t believe you were in the Great Hall. You and your friends made your way to the side as Professor Dumbledore announced the entrance of the champions and their dates.
Everyone lost it when they saw Granger on Viktor Krum’s arm. She looked completely different. Not in a bad way, even you would admit that. You can’t exactly point out what it was that made her look more beautiful but you couldn’t help but stare, like everybody else.
Well, everybody except Draco. His eyes were fixed on you. You didn’t notice that he was staring at you as you were too busy staring at the champions and their dates. Draco looked at you as if you were the most precious and most beautiful gem in the entire world.
After the champions and everyone else danced, you and your friends were standing by the sides, talking and occasionally observing the crowd. You were quietly sipping your drink while leaning on Draco, who was playing with your hair when you heard a familiar tune play. You squint, trying to focus on the music.
Draco was surprised when you suddenly squealed and placed your drink down before you dragged him into the dance floor. Then he realized the music that was playing. It was your favorite.
The two of you pressed your palms together as you began dancing your special dance. He held your hand in his as he twirled you. Everyone on the dance floor was now looking at the two of you but Draco couldn’t care less.
All he cared about is how happy you look as his arms slide against yours. As the two of you swayed along to the music. The rest of the world seemed to disappear as he looked at your smiling face.
The song ended and everyone went back to minding their own business. Draco had his arms on your waist and you had your arms wrapped around his neck as the two of you slowly danced.
“We should get back to our friends.” He whispered at you as you felt his hand leave your waist. You hugged him and buried your face on his chest. He was surprised but he wrapped his arms around you, hugging you back.
“I love you, Draco” Your voice was muffled but he heard you clearly.
You could hear his heartbeat beat faster as he buried his face in your hair.
“I love you too.” He whispered.
You looked up to meet his eyes. You gave him a warm smile before you reached up to him and kissed him. You felt him smile in the kiss as he brought his hands to cup your face.
This night just couldn’t get any better.

Stuck in Borderland
Chapter 2.2: Six of Diamonds Part 2
Warnings: language, weapons, violence, talk of death
All characters are ocs except for Kuzuryu who belongs to Haro Aso, thanks for reading!
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
“Who the fuck would be able to solve this!?” Kaoru yelled pulling on his hair.
“It’s not unsolvable, but with how long it is. It’ll be time consuming,” Kuzuryu muttered as he approached the board.
Sayaka watched the equation before approaching the board, “I know this was meant for me,” she paused to glance at Kuzuryu, “but I think that the best way to approach this is that Akiko, you, and me each take a portion of the problem and work it through.”
Kuzuryu watched her for a second before nodding, “that would be the smartest solution.”
Sayaka looked over her shoulder to call over to Akiko, but she was already approaching the board, “okay, I’ll take this portion, Kuzuryu you do this one, and Sayaka you do that one,” she delegated.
Sayaka nodded saluting her, “yes ma’am!”
The three of them picked up a piece of chalk and started working. It seemed like it was forever before Sayaka took a step back as she circled the number, “that’s what I got.” Akiko and Kuzuryu paused as they analyzed the board.
“That seems correct…” Akiko muttered.
“That answer is…” the voice paused and they all held their breath, “INCORRECT.”
The ceiling began lowering and Kaoru rounded on them, “what the fuck did you do wrong?!”
“I don’t know! I don’t know!” Akiko turned to the board scanning over everyone’s work.
“There’s got to be something we did wrong,” she whispered.
“What about here?” Kuzuryu pointed.
“Yes, that doesn’t look right,” Akiko agreed erasing it and fixing the rest of the work before circling a new number, “there. That’s the answer.”
“That answer is…” they all stared at the ceiling as it continued to get closer and closer, “INCORRECT!” There was a loud bang as the ceiling dropped two feet and continued to slide down.
“Oh my god!” Sayaka screamed flattening herself against the wall.
“What did we do wrong?! I don’t understand!!” Akiko called turning the board.
“Fix it! Fix it!” Daichi screamed as him and Kaoru tried to hold the ceiling up by stacking the desks.
“There are 15 minutes remaining.”
“Here!” Kuzuryu erased a line of Sayaka’s work and redid it, “the answer is square root 5.”
“That answer is…” they all stared at the spikes in the ceiling as they got closer and closer, “correct! Please proceed to the next room.”
The door next to the board slid opened, and they all scrambled over the desk to get to it. One of the spikes caught the desk tower Kaoru and Daichi had been making causing it to collapse knocking Sayaka and Akiko over as they ran towards the door. Sayaka looked over her shoulder at Akiko who was pulling on her leg frantically, “I’m stuck!” she screeched.
Sayaka pulled herself onto her hands and knees and crawled over to Akiko shoving her shoulder into the desks, but they wouldn’t budge. The spikes were getting closer and closer leaving only three quarters of the door out visible.
“Don’t leave me,” Akiko whimpered.
“I’m not,” Sayaka slammed her weight against the desk pile, but it wouldn’t budge. She leaned back on her hands breathing heavily. Gritting her teeth Sayaka laid on her back and pushed her feet against the pile.
“It’s moving!” Akiko called.
“Great get crawling,” Sayaka grunted as she struggled to keep herself from slipping on the linoleum floor. Akiko groaned as she struggled to get her legs free, but managed to wiggle out of the pile, as the spikes in the ceiling collided with the pile again causing it to shift all the weight onto Sayaka’s legs.
“Fuck!”
“Sayaka!” Akiko screamed.
“Just go!” Akiko hesitated, but turned and army crawled towards the door.
Sayaka gritted her teeth, this was so stupid, had Kuzuryu not wasted all that time arguing with her in the 4th room they wouldn’t be in this mess. She wouldn’t be in this mess. Everyone else had already made it out of the room.
“ARGH!” She let out a frustrated scream, “I’m not going to die here. I’ve come too far to die in a stupid diamonds game!” She brought her knees towards her chest a little bit before slamming her feet into the desk pile causing it to shift back just enough that she was able to roll to the side as they fell forward.
“Sayaka come on!” Akiko called from the half disappeared doorway. Sayaka pulled herself forward with her hands, and pushed with her bare toes as she kicked off her flip flops.
“Stupid fucking beach rules,” she cursed as she crawled. She made it to the doorway where Akiko and Daichi grabbed her by her arms yanking her through, and the door slammed shut behind them.
Sayaka laid on her stomach breathing heavily letting her forehead rest against the cool floor. “Sayaka you’re the chemist what’s the answer?” Kuzuryu spoke making her raise her head slowly to glare at the board, “What substance that is commonly found in houses will form a precipitate with an aqueous solution of barium chloride?”. That’s right, she thought to herself, there are still four more rooms.
“Baking soda,” she wheezed pushing herself up onto her hand and knees.
Kuzuryu scribbled the answer onto the board and they all waited for the voice, “that answer is… correct! Please proceed to the next room.”
“Ugh,” Sayaka forced herself to her feet and trudged towards the door as it swung open.
“Sayaka,” Akiko said as they walked into the next room, “thank you.”
Sayaka laughed, “don’t thank me yet, we’ve got 3 more.”
Kuzuryu was already scribbling an answer onto the board in room seven as they walked in. “I was a lawyer this is an easy question for me,” he stated as the voice chimed overhead that the answer was correct, and the door leading out opened up.
“Fine by me,” Sayaka shrugged as she followed him through the next doorway, “if it’s right, it’s right.”
The question on the board in room eight was once again difficult, “they must be alternating. Even rooms are hard and odd rooms are easier questions,” Sayaka muttered.
“Seems like a reasonable explanation, but doesn’t help us,” Kuzuryu agreed as they looked at the board, “What year was Rome founded in?” It was a simple question, but obscure enough that it would take a very specific person to be able to answer it.
“There are 10 minutes remaining.”
Sayaka sighed and ran a hand through her hair, “where to begin…”
“It was in early 750 BC.” They snapped their heads around to Daichi as he took a hesitant step towards the board, “but I can’t remember the exact date,” he admitted sheepishly.
“How do you know?” Kaoru sneered.
Daichi sighed, “I was studying history when I was younger,” he paused, “I had to drop out when my dad died, and we needed someone to work and pay the bills.”
Sayaka watched Daichi for a second really looking at him for the first time. He was probably in his late 20s to early 30s, the oldest out of her group of five, with his black hair cropped close to his head, and lines around his eyes making him look older than he probably was. Daichi walked up to the board and began writing “75” in chalk.
“It’s great that you know that, but I don’t think the game makers will take early 750 BC as the answer…” Sayaka muttered.
“I know…” Daichi replied as he held the chalk over the third number.
“We just have to pick one,” Kuzuryu said.
Sayaka watched the board before turning to Kaoru and Akiko, “get over to the door now. If we get this wrong we need to get out as fast as possible when we redo it,” she ordered. Kaoru glared at her, but rushed over to the door regardless with Akiko close behind.
“Alright Daichi,” Sayaka said turning to him, “take your guess.”
He nodded and wrote the number 0 on the board, and set the chalk back down, “that answer is…” The silence seemed to stretch on as they waited, “INCORRECT.”
The telltale grinding sound began and the spikes slid out as the ceiling began to drop, “try again!” Akiko yelled.
“Alright 751 BC!” Daichi yelled scribbling it onto the board.
“That answer is incorrect!” The ceiling dropped two feet and they all winced.
“Again!”
“752 BC!”
“That answer is incorrect!” The ceiling dropped again now beginning to cover the top of the doorway out.
“Again!” She snapped.
“But, if it’s wrong we’ll die!” Daichi said looking over his shoulder at her.
“If you don’t answer we’ll die anyway!” Kuzuryu replied.
“Okay,” Daichi drew in a deep breath as he picked the chalk back up and wiped the 2 away with the side of his hand, “Rome was built in 753 BC.”
“That answer is… correct! Please proceed to the next room.” The door slid open. Sayaka grabbed Daichi and shoved him through the doorway as the spikes barely grazed their heads.
“There are 5 minutes remaining.” The voice echoed overhead as the door slid shut.
“Alright two more to go we can do this,” Sayaka muttered to herself as she walked towards the board. “To the nearest meter how long is the human small intestine?”
“I got this one,” Sayaka declared as she wrote “2 m” on the board.
“That answer is correct! Please proceed to the next room.”
They all ran into the final room with Sayaka being the last to enter as the voice chimed overhead again, “there are 3 minutes remaining.”
“It’s another electrical engineering question,” Akiko said as she approached the board. “An electric motor that runs at 3/4 of its full-load potential of 200 amperes is operating at how many amps?” She hesitated staring at it for a moment with her eyebrows drawn together and her lips pursed.
“Just answer it then Akiko!” Kaoru snapped.
“I have to think this is something that was new to me at school too,” she replied.
“Well we don’t have time!” Kaoru snarled. Sayaka glared at him. Not that she liked the militants much before, but Kaoru had done literally nothing to contribute to their success so far in the game.
“Let her think!” Sayaka yelled. Kaoru rounded on her.
“Why don’t you shut your mouth! We’ve already determined you’re not executive material,” Kaoru replied acting like he would’ve even been remotely apart of that decision.
“I don’t give a damn about being an executive. I just want to survive. More than I can say for you. What have you done to help us through this so far!?” Sayaka snapped at him rage bubbling in her chest.
“Me?! What have you done?” Kaoru screeched tossing a desk to the side as he approached her, “besides acting like you’re the fucking leader around here! I’m the one with the gun. I’m in charge!” He snapped waving the hand gun in the air before pointing it towards Sayaka.
“Why don’t I just get rid of you?” He growled baring his teeth.
“Oh yea? Because that’s going to make you feel so much fucking better!” Sayaka waved her hands in the air, “about being a goddamn waste of spa—“ she was cut off by the voice overhead.
“That answer is INCORRECT!” The ceiling started dropping, and Sayaka and Kaoru snapped around the Akiko.
“What the fuck Akiko!?” Kaoru called.
“I’m trying!” She snapped frantically erasing her work on the board with the back of her hand.
“Two minutes remaining.”
“Akiko come on!”
“Shut the fuck up for once!” Sayaka screamed.
Kaoru turned around and tossed more desks aside so he could jam the handgun into Sayaka’s chest, “tell me to shut up again, I fucking dare you!” He snarled baring his teeth.
“Go for it,” she dared.
“For someone who says they’re trying to survive. You’ve got a real fucking death wish,” he hissed.
“Maybe I’m just calling your bluff,” she replied staring at him. She could see the hesitation in his eyes. No one wanted to be here, and no one certainly wanted to kill anyone. Well, at least they didn’.
“That answer is correct! Please proceed out of the building.” They both snapped out of their stare down to the door as it slid open.
“There are 30 seconds remaining.”
Akiko and Kuzuryu scrambled out the door, followed closely by Daichi and Kaoru was close behind. Sayaka ran towards the door jumping over the desk Kaoru had flung to the side, and vaulting herself over the next one. She ran a few paces before dropping onto her side sliding through the half blocked doorway.
The door slammed shut behind her and Sayaka laid on the cold pavement of the parking lot with a sigh as her phone lit up and chimed. “Congratulations! Game cleared. A 6 day visa has been issued to all participants.” Sayaka looked at the phone before tossing it across the lot.
“Fuck off,” she muttered letting her head rest back against the pavement.
“Are you alright Sayaka?” Akiko asked from where she was sitting.
“Yea, I’m okay,” she breathed before laughing and throwing her arm over her eyes, “fuck. They took the name Trivia Crush way too seriously.”
“That’s for sure,” Akiko chuckled.
“Hey!” They both glanced over at the boys, “let’s get going!” Kuzuryu said.
“Alright, alright, we’re coming,” Sayaka grumbled as she sat up.
Akiko smiled and held a hand out to her helping her to her feet. Kaoru came up behind her and smacked her ass before leaning down towards her ear, “great job in there kitten. What do you say we celebrate in my room when we get back?” he cooed.
“Uh, yea we could,” she mumbled putting a hand to his chest.
“Sounds good to me kitten,” he smacked her ass again before heading to the car ahead of them.
Sayaka frowned looking at Akiko, “charming.”
She gave her a sheepish look, “yea…”
“You could do better,” Sayaka mumbled watching Kaoru talk with Daichi at the car, “even here.”
“I guess…”
“Let’s get going!” Kaoru called.
“Let’s go home,” Akiko said looking at Sayaka before heading to the car.
Sayaka hesitated, “if that’s what you want to call it.”

Jason Todd was in a terrible mood, having just got into an argument with Bruce. He decided to go up to his girlfriend’s studio to get away. She had been hard at work the past couple days and he was getting needy.
“You did.”
“I did? Huh, I think I would’ve remembered such a disgusting journey into your body.
“Dammit, Y/N! Enough with the sarcasm! You know what I’m saying.”
Y/N sighed at Jason’s attitude, “I don’t understand what you’re doing right now, but you are starting a fight just for the sake of an argument.
She was deadly calm, but fire was roaring in her eyes, “I did not replace you.”
“That’s right, you were too busy whoring yourself around Gotham to even think about me.”
“That is not fair and you know it. I mourned you. We all mourned, you arrogant ass.
What started as a way to get out of the with friends at simple house parties, had led to a wild secret life. The only reason Y/N had moved back to the manor was because Jason had been found. She couldn’t believe that he was trying to use her moments of weakness against her, “How dare you throw that back on me. I was just trying to numb the pain. It wasn’t like I was celebrating the fact that you were gone.”
“Yeah, it really looked like you missed me.”
“God Dammit, Jay! If you would just listen to me!
“Oh fuck off, Y/N! If I had known I was ever going to be stuck with you and your nagging, I wouldn’t have come back.”
“I wish you hadn’t!” The minute the words left Y/N’s mouth, she gasped and slapped her hands over her mouth. Jason’s emotionless mask slammed into place, and suddenly he was as blank as the day Bruce had found him again.
The next day, they had both shown up for Friday night dinner, as was expected on them. Neither spoke, and the tension was too thick to be cut with a knife. Y/N had tried to pull him aside and apologize to Jason after dinner, but he had shot her with a cutting glare and walked away.
Night, Timmy.” Y/N went to her room and cried herself to sleep, the guilt overwhelming her as she played the argument in her head.
Bruce had called workers to the manor and had redid the room when she had told him she liked art. He refused to look up and make eye contact, instead staring at the breakfast that had been abandoned on the table. Once everyone had looked away, he pushed away from the table and disappeared.
This led to one of the most uncomfortable weeks in the Manor ever. Y/N barely left her studio and no one saw Jason for three days, before he returned. When he did, he started to act as if nothing had happened. The music had eventually stopped playing altogether, so they had no idea what kind of mood she was in. Finally, Damian was the one to gather everyone else together, “(Y/N/N) has not come out of her studio in a week.
They decided Alfred would be the one to try and convince her to leave the studio at least and eat something.
He appeared in the doorway and watched silently as Y/N worked on a large canvas. He walked over and saw that it was a portrait of the family. “This is beautiful, Miss Bishop.”
“Thank you, Alfred,” her voice was hoarse from disuse.
“What is the plan for this one?” Alfred sat down next to her on the floor.
“Everyone hates photos, but Fallon wanted a family portrait for the sitting room.. Since no one can sit still long enough I decided to paint one and give it to her for her birthday,” she slowly sucked in a breath, “Plus they only have the old one and J--some people-- are missing from it.” Tears started to well up again in her eyes. Alfred wrapped an arm around Y/N and just sat with her for a moment.
“I’ve kicked the boys out of the kitchen. Do you think you could come down and eat something? For me?” She only nodded, and they both stood. Y/N sat on a stool and silently ate the soup Alfred had laid out for her. She barely tasted anything, and she was starting to feel dizzy. Her vision started to blur, and the next thing she knew, she was waking up on the floor and had five heads floating above her.
“Hi, guys. Thought the floor looked lonely.” She tried to sit up, but was cut off.
She had barely been asleep an hour before she woke up from a nightmare of Jason dying. Little did the Bat Family know, Alfred had called Fallon and told her about the situation and she had rushed home.

🏠 Tiny Living Stuff Pack Review 🏠
Thank you to the EA Game Changer Program for providing me with the opportunity to play with Tiny Living Stuff early!
I didn’t have a lot of time to play around with this pack because I had some real life obligations during the early access time frame and the embargo time was once again at a ridiculous hour of the morning for me (don’t get me started on that mess), but here’s what I did learn about the new Tiny Living Stuff Pack.
I feel like I need to say straight away that this is my favourite stuff pack so far. The reason I feel the need to say that is because when I sat down to go through the notes I’d made during early access and type up this review, the more I got into it, the more it started to sound... aggressively ranty 😬
I was going to try to tone it down a bit, but honestly there are already so many reviews out there that gloss over the glaring bugs that I figured I might as well just leave it. It’s my honest opinion of the pack, and what’s the point of doing a review if I’m not giving my honest opinion, no matter how ranty? lol
I’m gonna put this under a cut, because spoilers.
— What I loved —
🏠 Create-a-Sim:
I’ve been saying for a long time we need more comfy casual clothing for our sims and with this pack we finally got some! LOOK AT THOSE JAMMIES!
To be honest, I wasn’t expecting any CAS items with this pack, but we got some amazing clothing that I will no doubt use on literally every sim I make lol
The hairs are good too, and more options are always appreciated, however I honestly feel like we already have different variations of most of them.
The best part about the hairs is that every single one of them has been made available for kids and toddlers! Apparently one of the gurus found a quick and cost effective way to convert hairs, so hopefully we’ll see this happen more and more with each future pack!
🏠 Buy Mode:
The Buy Mode objects are 100% the star of this pack for me. I don’t think there is a single thing in the buy catalogue of this pack that I didn’t absolutely adore! Some of the objects have issues — and I’ll get into that in a bit — but overall I love, love, LOVE the general concept of everything.
[click for larger]
The objects in this pack were based off the Scandinavian concept of Hygge and I really think they hit the nail on the head! Everything feels so cozy and comfy, with a little hint of Ikea to the furniture and I just... I can’t even really put into words how much I love it all. I honestly can’t remember a single previous pack (expansion, game or stuff) where I have loved every item in the buy catalogue, there’s usually always something that’s like “Meh” or “I don’t like this at all” to me, but the objects in this pack are 10/10.
I also love that they combined so many things. Like the murphy bed with the couch on the front (though I do wish we were also given that couch as a separate couch as well) and the TV unit that’s also a bookcase AND a stereo. And I really appreciate that they went back and redid some of the old book ends to make them functional bookcases.
— What I didn’t love —
🏠 Create-A-Sim:
I say it with every pack and I’m going to continue to say it even if no one is listening...
WHERE ARE THE KIDS, TODDLERS AND ELDERS CAS ITEMS!?
I know the kids and toddlers got some hairs but that doesn’t make up for the serious lack of CAS content that every age range besides young adults has and it’s getting really hard to make unique sims when there isn’t enough content to choose from.
🏠 Build Mode:
For a pack dedicated to Tiny Living, I was really disappointed to see literally only one door in the build catalogue. ONE. I was expecting some small windows, maybe some sliding doors, but nope; just one door. Hell I would have even been happy to have less CAS stuff in exchange for some build stuff!
I get why they haven’t added bunk beds and spiral stairs yet, those are a lot of work and I’m ok with waiting until they perfect them BUT this would have been the perfect pack to add ladders. We already have ladders in game that are fully animated (pool and island living ladders) it really wouldn’t take that much work to make ladders work between floors. I HATE the idea of having to put stairs outside in tiny builds and ladders are the ultimate in space saving “technology"; I feel like the team really dropped the ball on that one.
🏠 Murphy Beds:
Listen, I love the concept of the murphy beds and the design of them looks really cool but I can’t see myself using them at all as they are currently.
I was almost immediately disappointed with them when I realised they were remote controlled. I know that it makes it easier for the Sims Team so they don’t have to work so hard to animate them, but I really wanted sims to pull them down by hand. The reason I wanted murphy beds in the game was because they would fit better with small apartments and homes of sims who don’t have a lot of money, and to me a remote controlled murphy bed sounds incredibly expensive.
Oh but don’t worry, because apparently the remote control is invisible?
Now, the version of the game that the Gurus were using for the stream didn’t have invisible remotes BUT they use a dev build of the game that isn’t the same as ours, and many other Game Changers are also saying its invisible for them too, so I dunno what happened but that’s just one of the things that needs to be fixed.
The other issue, which is the biggest deal breaker for me, is that the damn things constantly break! And I do mean CONSTANTLY. You know how when you buy a cheap stereo or sink it’ll last a few days/uses before it breaks? Yeh, not the case for the murphy beds. They break instantly, and they break often.
I was REALLY looking forward to murphy beds being added to the game and I thought if there’s one thing I need to do above all else with this pack, it’s test out those glorious murphy beds! Well... I managed to play for roughly three sim days and here’s what happened during that time:
Bed 1 (never used before) got stuck on first use and squashed Sim 1
Bed 1 got stuck on second attempt and killed Sim 1
Bed 1 got stuck on third attempt and squashed Sim 2
Bought brand new bed
Bed 2 pulled down without issue for Sim 2
Bed 2 broke at 11pm while Sim 2 was sleeping and squashed Sim 2
Sim 2 refused to sleep for 3 hours out of fear while Sim 3 was able to sleep in broken, sparking bed for that time without issue because they weren’t in it when it squashed Sim 2
Sim 2 repaired bed while Sim 3 continued to sleep
After 3 hours Sim 2 went back to sleep and Bed 2 broke again almost immediately
Bought brand new bed. Again.
Bed 3 got stuck on first attempt and squashed Sim 2
Bed 3 got stuck on second attempt and squashed Sim 3
Bed 3 pulled down without issue on third attempt for Sim 3
Sims 2 and 3 slept for another 2 hours before Bed 3 started sparking again but didn’t squash them
Woke Sim 2 up to repair bed and immediately sent Sim 2 back to bed (the fear moodlet only happens if they get squashed but the bed can break without squashing them apparently?)
Bed 3 broke again 3.5 hours later and squashed both Sim 2 and 3
I rage quit.
For the so-called “Hero” object of this pack, this is just unacceptable. The percentage for breakage REALLY needs to be turned down because in my opinion they’re not usable as they are.
And even if it weren’t for all the bugs, I probably still wouldn’t use them in tiny homes because I don’t think they’re space saving at all. They take up exactly the same amount of space as normal beds do; 6 tiles. You can’t put anything in front of them or around them if you want them to be functional on both sides, and you can’t even put dangling lights above them because I guess, realistically, the bed would hit them on the way down?
It’s especially annoying with the murphy bed that has the couch attached. It would have been really nice to add a small coffee table or ottoman in front of it but you can’t because then your sims won’t be able to use the bed. I really wish they had have made at least the little round coffee table and the ottoman from this pack inventory-able. Sims could have them out during the day, and throw them in their inventory when they need to use the bed at night, then place them back down in the morning when they wake up.
I think it’s this aspect — not being able to put things around/in front of the murphy beds — that actually annoys the most; the bugs will probably be fixed eventually but I can’t see this ever changing. I spent most of the three days we had for early access trying to work out how to fit a murphy bed into a 32 tile micro home without having it just sitting in the middle of an empty room and let me tell you, it’s not worth the frustration.
— The Verdict —
🏠 7/10 Would go Tiny again
As I said, this is my favourite stuff pack so far and I will get a lot of use out of the CAS and Buy stuff, but because of all the things I mentioned above I can’t give it a 10/10.
I do love the content of this pack, but right now I’m getting kind of fed up with the issues that keep happening with every pack lately. It’s all stuff that should have been caught by QA testing, stuff that is glaringly obvious to the average player, and stuff that would have only taken two minutes of gameplay to find out was a problem. I don’t know who tests these packs, but whoever it is needs to step up their game in a big way.
Overall I really do love the pack, but some major aspects fell a little flat for me. And the fact that that’s not at all a surprise, and that this feeling of “I like it, but...” has become the norm with new packs is really quite sad.
If you have questions about Tiny Living Stuff, feel free to drop an ask in my box, anon will be on right up until the release 😊

Orc Boyfriend (Torug) (Chapter 3/??)
I am so sorry it has taken me this long. Besides from Animal Crossing coming and eating all of my free time. My grandmother passed away earlier this month. needless to say it has been a chaotic couple of months. Thank you for your patience!
“Sooooo the hot piece of Orc ass, does he have a name?” Jhorrel bit into one of the eclairs Diana had grabbed from Elora. Fidgeting, Diana looked down at her hands and the small glass of wine in her hands.
“Seriously Diana, I’m hurt that Jhorrel found out before me. I’ve known you longer!” Brie was glaring at Diana, who was ladling our pasta onto plates. Brie looked down at the plate of pasta that Diana had handed her like it had stabbed her cat. “You’re not getting out of this Dee. Would it have killed you to pick up your damn phone and text me?”
“This just happened Brie! I’ve had maybe two days to compute! Holy hell.” Jhorrel scoffed at that and poured the decanted wine for himself. He hefted it to Brie who just waved it away. Picking up her pasta Diana stabbed her fork into the dish and started eating. Having Brie hold this against her stung. She thought out of the two that Brie would have cared the least.
“How do you know that he isn’t planning something? You know, like Darren before.” Diana looked up, but it was the plate dropping onto wood that caught her attention. Looking over towards the sound, she saw Jhorrel looking livid.
“I told you too, drop it.” He growled at Brie. Who sneered.
“It’s not that I don’t trust your judgment Jhorrel, but after what happened with that dick I have to be careful. Hell Diana should be careful.” That comment stung, Diana had been careful when it came to Darren. She had vetted him with other people that had known him and double checked with Jhorrel to see whether he had alternative motives. But in the end Darren had fooled even Jhorrel who had supernatural abilities when it came to finding liars.
“Again Brianna, like I’ve told you before he had good intentions in the beginning.”
“Oh yes, so good in fact that Diana almost wound up homeless. In fact she was homeless. For months!!” Diana could feel a headache coming on.
Being careful with her wine glass she placed it down on the counter and quietly moved to her room. As she closed the door behind her, she heard Jhorrel and Brie getting louder. She looked over to her window and had an idea. She grabbed a sweater and opened the window, looking at the fire escape she slipped on a pair of flats she had next to her bed. Then she went out the window.
As she climbed down from the second floor, Jhorrel and Brie really started yelling. Jumping the three feet from the ground Diana gave a small ouff. She dusted herself off and headed towards Elora's store. Diana wished she had closed the window. You could now hear the fight from the ground. She felt the concrete through her thin flats as she walked down the street. She thought about what Erica had told and how Banko had protected her.
Thinking back to Darren reminded her of how earnest Darren had been at first. The way he had just come in a swept diana off her feet. How charming it had been when she met his friends how he had insisted that even though his company was buying up plots in the neighborhood next door that he had no intentions to do the same to her “charming” neighborhood. Diana sighed, and looked around. She realized that she was a lot farther than where she had been aiming for. She walked a little farther to the cross street and read Oak Street. She had gone a mile from where she had been wanting to go. Reaching into her pocket she realized that she had left her phone on the counter with her glass of wine.
“Diana?” Looking up she saw Banko. “Out for a stroll?
“Ah hahahaha, funny story. My friends are having a little conversation. One that I decided they could have by themselves.” The Onikuma snorted, he shifted the bags he was holding. Diana’s stomach gave a loud growl. Diana gave a small smile.
“Didn’t even get to eat the pasta you made huh? Well follow me, I’ve got sushi and I may have bought enough to feed three of me.” He guffawed, and started walking away from Diana. She followed behind him. As they turned down Whistler avenue Diana’s stomach gave another growl. “Ha! Your stomach growls more than mine does when I’m hungry! Don’t worry we’re almost there.”
As they walked farther along Banko turned down a small street. Diana saw cute Victorian style houses along the street and realized that they had gone down one of the small residential streets that were in the neighborhood. Banko slowed down at a two story sort of run down Victorian. The paint was peeling on the walls and she could tell they were in the middle of redoing the roof. Weeds were in between the cracked concrete walkway and some overgrown rose bushes lined the front of the house.
“Erica inherited it from a relative, which was a blessing in disguise for us. After what happened in her old town I didn’t have a lot of money saved up. Torug wanted to help but I was too stubborn. So now with what little we have we’re repairing and remodeling! Starting with the roof! According to your Elora we gotta work quickly, the rainy season starts up soon.” Diana hadn’t realized she had been staring. Banko had a proud smile on his face.
“Oh yeah, next month or so. If you need help let me know. Jhorrel knows a lot of contractors who can help and probably give you a discount.” Diana was on autopilot and felt it. Jhorrel would actually know how to help better, and if any of the contractors heard about Erica and Bankos story, they’d work for free so long as the two of them paid for the stuff to fix the roof. As Diana’s thoughts glazed over the light flicked on the porch.
“Banko hurry your fat ass up- Oh. Diana I thought- uh hi.” Looking up Diana saw Torug and Erica who gave her a small wave. Diana gave a wave back to Erica, who smiled.
“Oh wow, I am so sorry for being late. But good news is I found a stray! Diana was wandering around a couple blocks back so I brought her along!” Erica shoved Torug to the side and walked up to Banko. Kissing him, she grabbed one of the bags and Diana’s hand dragging her into the house. Torug reached out to Diana but before he could touch her, Banko grabbed Torug by the shoulder. Diana tried to listen to what Banko would say to Torug but Erica dragged her into the house before Banko could say anything.
“What happened to girls night? You seemed to be looking forward to that?” Diana blinked a few times and looked at Erica. She was looking back with a concerned expression.
“Ah, I forgot how intense one of my friends can be, and she took offense at me not telling her about what's been going with Torug. I mean she was the one who helped me when Darren kicked me out of my store. Her and her mothers also helped me get back my store after my old landlord passed away.” hearing a thunk Diana looked over to Erica who had loudly placed a stack of plates on the counter.
“Wait what do you mean, ‘Darren kicked you out of your store?’ I thought you owned that building?” Diana sighed and shrugged.
“I didn’t always own the building I started out renting from an old Dryad named Rosalie, she was the sweetest woman that I knew next to Elora. I had been dating this real estate broker named Darren, and when Rosalie and I redid the lease Darren asked if I needed a cosign for it. It was only going to be for a year while I saved up, and with him signing on it was going to be even cheaper than if it had been just me signing.” Diana took a breath.
“Well it worked out for the first couple of months, then my mom passed away and I had to go home to help with that sort of thing. I came back a month later and Darren had changed the locks. He had already pushed forward his “Idea” of buying the land and turning it into a high rise. He had been talking to a few other building owners and purchased the building on the right side. He had already torn down the building and was trying to get the Dryad to sell to him.” Diana stopped to catch her breath, seeing how pale Erica had gone Diana grew worried. “Are you okay? You’re really pale.”
“I’m fine, just gotta kick something. Keep going, I think I have a feeling where this is going to go.” Erica pulled a glass down and filled it with water from the fridge. She sat down looking at Diana. Diana looked down.
“Anyway, he had donated most of my things because he ‘assumed I was going to stay at my mothers home’ and that I had ‘no need for some the stupid things’ I had. Thankfully Brie had gotten wind of what was going on. She got to the donation center and saved most of my sentimental things like the bedroom set from my great grandmother. Mom used to joke it was strong enough to hold two orcs. Brie wasn’t able to save everything though.” Diana gave a small sigh.
“ I still have no idea what happened to my great grandmother's dining room set, the family dish ware, and the family silver. Anyway after I came back I tried getting back into the apartment above my store at least. But like I said Darren had changed the locks without telling Rosalie. She called a locksmith out but Darren had called the police, he had quite a few friends on the force. They came with a cease and desist letter for Rosalie and then served me with papers. He was trying to get back the ‘back rent’ I ‘owed him’. He kept this up for three months, Jhorrel was horrified because he was the one who introduced us. Finally Rosalie gave up and behind Darren's back sold me the building. Brie contacted her mothers and they gave me the money as a gift. Jhorrel had Darren’s case against me thrown out with the help of his sister, and I served him his 30 day notice to get out. He tried to use his friends on the force to scare me, but with Jhorrel, his sister, Brie and her mothers. They didn’t get very far. Last I heard the police officers had been fired.”
“Wait who’s Jhorrel’s sister and Brie’s mother? Mothers?” Diana looked up at Erica who’s glass of water was hanging limply in her hand. Diana grabbed the glass and set it on the table.
“Jhorrel’s sister is Sararis, she goes by Sara. She's the chief federal prosecutor for the area. Brie’s a Valkyrie, her mom’s are head of the top two hospitals around here. I stayed in one of their townhouses when all of this was going down.” Erica was looking at Diana with her mouth open.
“Where is he now?” Diana jumped a bit knocking over the glass she turned to see Torug and Banko in the doorway. Torug moved forward with a look that scared Diana a little. Banko wasn’t looking much better. His fur was on end and he kept flexing his claws.
“He’s gone! and has been for at least a year. So it’s not a problem anymore. I promise!” Torug came closer and swept Diana into a hug. His arms wrapped around Diana and gave her a reassurance that Diana didn’t think she would get from a hug. She realized her feet weren’t touching the ground.
“God dammit that’s horrible. I can promise I’ll never treat you like that.” Diana felt Torugs chin on the top of her head. Diana leaned in just a little bit more and relaxed. Then her stomach growled.
“Dammit put her down, our sushi is just sitting here, and she sounds like she’s starving! Diana, have you called anyone yet?” Diana wiggled a little bit and poked Torug. He set her down, and she took a breath.
“Oh shoot, I forgot. Am I able to borrow someone’s phone? I left mine at home.” Erica reached into her pocket and handed Diana her phone. Diana dialed Jhorrel’s number, hit speaker phone and waited.
“Jhorrel Gusion, high end real estate and business leasings. May I take a message? I'm in the middle of a family emergency.” Diana snickered. She could hear Jhorrel panting.
“Jhorrel, have you been running? You never run.” Diana ripped the phone as far away from her as Jhorrel gave an inhumanly loud screech. Banko’s ear twitched backwards in pain and Torug winced. Carefully pulling the phone back, she caught the end of Jhorrel’s sentence.
“- everywhere! Sara’s on the phone with her security team!”
“NO! I’m fine! Sara doesn’t need to call her goon squad!” Diana started panicking. “I’m with Torug having dinner!” This stopped Jhorrel for a hot moment.
“Diana, I know it’s been a while and with everything going on you haven’t had time for yourself, but are you honestly going to jump into bed with an orc you’ve known for three days? If so, well okay then but honestly I would have helped you. It would have killed two birds with one stone actually.” Diana had gone redder than a tomato. She caught Erica’s eyes and Erica dashed into the other room to laugh.
“Jhorrel, you're on speaker phone.” The line went dead. Looking at the phone she saw Jhorrel had hung up. Looking up she saw Torug watching her. He gave her a smirk that made her go even redder.
“You know, I do have food at my place.” Torug smirk grew into a smile as Diana felt something. She wasn’t sure if it was nauseousness from lack of food or something else. She was about to reply when her stomach growled again. Banko slapped Torug on the back.
“We have enough food for six people Torug, let the girl eat here first before you eat her.” Torug shrugged and held out his hand. Diana, a little wary, took hold of it. As Torug led her out of the kitchen and into the other room, he turned around.
“If you’re dead set on us eating here then you can bring the food into the living room.” Banko gave a big laugh and shooed them away. Diana let herself be led into the living room. “Maybe we can have desert at my place”

the fair.
*(PART 1) (PART 2) (PART 3)*
Warnings: TOO MUCH FLUFF
Your parents were both out of the house before you woke up. They left for a business trip and they would be gone for the next couple days. It was a nice feeling to have the house to yourself for a while. It would be quiet and you could have your friends over. You could also have your new boyfriend, Steve over as well. It was going to be a crazy next few days but you were excited.
Once you woke up, you went downstairs and threw some bread in the toaster. While your food was warming up, you were debating whether or not to call Steve to see if he was off work or not today. You decided against it when you realized that he worked at Scoops everyday. You splattered peanut butter on your bread and took it back upstairs to your room. You turned on your tiny TV to some random sitcom. You didn’t have to go into work until 11am, when the store opened. You glanced at your clock resting on your bedside table and it read 9:37am. After you finished eating breakfast, you quickly jumped into the shower.
---
After drying yourself, putting on some makeup and put your hair in a half up/half down look and walked out the door for work, locking the door behind you. Lucky for you, work wasn’t that far from where you lived, so you didn’t need a car. Would you like a car? Sure, but it’s not something you needed. You hopped on your bike and you were on your way. You told Mel, the owner of the bookstore, that you couldn’t work late because of the date you had planned with Steve. Mel was very understanding since him and your family go way back. He said it was alright if you close up shop at 5 instead of 7.
You grab the key to open the store from your backpack and take a seat at the cashiers desk, patiently waiting for your first customer. You weren’t expecting a lot of people today cause of how business decreased because of the mall but you had hope.
Since you had nothing else to do, you rearranged some books on the shelves, dusted off old books and grabbed some to keep at the desk to keep you occupied for the next 6 hours.
--
Nothing newsworthy happened at work, there never really is but you did get some familiar customers. You double checked to make sure that everything was locked and loaded before you left for the night. Now the night really began. Once you got back to your house, you grabbed some high waisted blue jean shorts and tucked in a striped t-shirt into your shirt. You redid your makeup and put some lip gloss that really made your lips sparkle. You tied up your white chucks and waited downstairs until you saw Steve’s car pulling up. You locked the door and ran up to the car before Steve got out.
“Wow, someone is excited to see me.” he said.
Even though going to the fair was only your second date, it was like you’ve been together forever.
Without saying a word, you pushed him up against the back door and brought him in for a kiss. So much for the lip gloss staying on. You broke the kiss and saw his lips sparkle just like yours.
“I missed you.” you said, breaking out of his grip and walking over to the passenger side of the car to get in.
“I missed you too, babe.”
“So we’re starting with the pet names, now? We’re at that stage of our relationship?”
“Do you not want me to call you babe?” he cocked his eyebrow.
“I’m just teasing, call me whatever you want Stevie.” you rested your hand on his leg as he drove off.
“So, how was work?” Steve broke the silence.
“It was good, pretty boring actually. Many of the customers were normal ones I see almost everyday.” you stared out the window.
“That’s good, work was so busy for us. Lucas’s sister kept asking Robin for sample after sample. It drives her insane.” he shakes his head.
“Honestly, that would drive me up a wall. Like, you can have like 2 and then you’re done. Just pick a flavor, you know?” you lean closer to Steve, allowing him to wrap his arm around you.
“Hey, I agree. It really abuses are sample policy.”
“Oh my God, I almost forgot to tell you, I have the house to myself for the next couple of days. So, you’re welcome to stay as long as you like.”
“Wait, really? I would love to stay with you tonight. But we would have to stop back at my house before we go to yours cause I have to get my work outfit.”
“Okay.”
--
Steve pulled into the crowded parking lot that overlooked the entire fun fair. It was filled with Hawkins citizens having fun at all the games and rides. There was a giant ferris wheel and a spaceship. Everything was so bright and inviting and you couldn’t wait to get on some of the rides. You loved thrill rides, you could say you have a strong stomach and you hoped Steve did too.
You got out of the car and reached for Steve’s hand. You watched as he admired everything that was going on. This was the first carnival to hit Hawkins, Mayor Kline decided it would be a good idea to raise a little money for the town and boy he really went hard.
Steve bought you a wristband so you could go on unlimited rides for the rest of the evening, plus the spectacular fireworks show happening later in the night.
“What do you want to do first? I know I want to win you a stuffed animal later.”
“Aww, you don’t have to do that.”
“I want to, babe. Isn’t that what the boyfriends do in relationships? They win their girlfriend a giant teddy bear?”
“Only if you want to be a cliche.” you joke.
You thought the best idea was to ride rides first, eat, then play carnival games.
You looked over to your right to see Mayor Kline giving a speech and to your right was a bunch of kids surrounding someone playing a game where you shoot balloons. The first ride you decide to go on was the giant spaceship. One by one, the ticket person checked your wristband, giving you a nod to go in. Steve and you found a spot together.
“I’m kind of nervous for this one.” you said.
“Why, I’ve never been on it, what’s it do?”
“It spins and you can’t move your body. You can’t lift your head you can’t do anything.”
“Oh, God.”
You look over to watch the door of the ride shut tight.
“Just lay back and relax.” you grabbed Steve’s hand.
The ride started spinning and everyone was laughing and screaming, trying to lift their bodies.
“I can’t move my entire body!” Steve yells, laughing out loud.
“I told you! Just relax!”
As the ride came to an end, you found it easier to move your body closer to Steve. You looked up as he kissed your forehead then your lips. Once you got your own gravity back, you carefully walked off the ride.
“Well, what did you think?”
“Honestly, I don’t think it’s a ride I will go on again, ever.”
“Aw, no! I’m sorry.”
“I hated having little to no control over my own body.”
“I guess that’s what it’s like in space.”
--
You saved the ferris wheel for last. It was a nice ride to end the rides part of your night. Steve was the first to sit in the small seat and he put his arm around you. Once you were ready to lift off into the sky, the worker pressed a button and soon you could see the entire town of Hawkins.
“Wow, the view is beautiful.” you leaned forward as much as you can to look down.
“You know what else is beautiful?” Steve asked.
“You?”
“Well, yeah, but I was referring to you.”
You smiled and puckered your lips, hinting at Steve to kiss you. When your lips touch, it was like you were meant for each other. It was like time stopped and everything around you froze. You couldn’t hear the commotion down below, it was just you, Steve and the stars.
Once the ride started moving again, you only had one more go around before you were kicked off the ride.
“I’m starving. What do you say we get some food before we play some games.”
“Sounds good to me.”
While walking around, playing games and finding something good to eat, the fireworks began going off. It lit the sky all different colors. Steve held you close as he admired how you watched each firework as they went off.
“My God.” he said.
“What?”
“Oh nothing, it’s just that you’re beautiful.”
You blush, “Steve! Stop!”
“What?”
“Stop giving me compliments.” you giggle.
“No. I will shower you with compliments 24/7. You’re my girlfriend, it’s kind of my job.”
“You’re crazy, Steve Harrington.” you continue to glare up at the fireworks in awe.
“Not crazy, just in love.”
