Irresolute Feelings (Chapter 4) | Volokari

   ‘NO!’

   Purple flames sped and crashed violently against everything it could hit.

   BANNNG!

   One slammed against the iron pot that dangled above the hearth. It swayed roughly, yet was still able to hang on despite the dusty soot that was now splattered on the pot. Flickers of flames dropped onto the used wood, sending sparks that popped and crackled as if it was hissing.

   CRRASH!!

   One crashed against the body mirror in their room, making the item wobble and the glass shatter. The reflection of one lone woman and a horrifying Pokémon were spread into bits, distorting their images that mirrored the lone woman’s shattered heart.

   BOOM!

   Another exploded through the partitions that provided a barricade between the room and main dining area. A flare of fire circled on the ruined shoji papers, colouring what was once pure white into bloody purple.

   SLAM—BANG!!

   The last one slammed roughly—harshly—against an invisible barrier. One that had been quickly formed between the Hisuian Typhlosion and his target.

   Smoke of dust and black filled the room. The windows of the wooden house were opened—thankfully—yet it wasn’t enough for both humans to gain proper oxygen. Akari coughed weakly, throat ached and burned from the lack of air and strained muscles.

   Volo, dizzy as he was still, coughed louder. His vision still blurred. His heart raced maniacally at the thought that this would be his last day on this wretched planet. Blonde hair a disarray, he fumbled on his butt, grey eyes then widened to see the back of his beloved friend.

   The smoke slowly dissipated. The Hisuian Typhlosion stood upright, head cocked upwards and sharp eyes glared at the one who protected the monster.

   ‘Move, darling.’ Belial muttered. Calmly. Coldly.

   Togekiss didn’t say a peep. Her glare matched his own as she strengthened the barrier in front of her.

   ‘I said—’ Blood red eyes shrunk as he looked behind Togekiss, ‘—move, darling.’

   ‘And I said no.’ Finally, she spoke up. Gone was the cheerful chirp that always rang in his ears. Togekiss planted her tiny feet onto the ground. Her wings were spread apart, feathers ruffled wildly as tension rose high between them. Black eyes cast a short glance at the befuddled human behind her, rising up a sense of guilt and sorrow that she quickly swallowed down.

   ‘Togekiss.’

   There it was. His voice. Icy and almost deathly. Void of the nickname she grew to love so much.

   A part of her heart broke at the situation they were in. At Akari’s state. At Volo’s absolute foolishness.

   But she swallowed it all. Togekiss knew that if she let her guard down—that if she let her shield down—the happy life they lived now would be incinerated until there’s nothing left.

   Taking a deep breath, she looked at her mate.

   ‘Belial,’ she said, voice clear and steady, ‘you know killing Volo isn’t going to fix the problem.’

   She saw his fur frazzle madly at the sound of Volo’s name.

   ‘Oh?’ He enlightened her, voice lilted playfully with distrust and distaste. ‘And how do you that, darling?’ He kept his stance, tall and menacing. ‘If killing him isn’t the answer, then I guess him killing my Akari is?’

   A low growl, deep and haunting, echoed inside the barren room.

   Togekiss felt Volo shiver behind her. ‘You know that’s not sure.’ Her voice was still calm. She had to be. ‘There’s a misunderstanding. I tried to stop Volo but he needs more convincing that requires human speech.’ She watched as a grim chuckle mixed with purple flames seeped through a tight mouth. ‘I thought—I just thought that Akari could get through him—’

   ‘He didn’t.’

   His frigid bark ultimately cut her off.

   Anger still fueled the Hisuian Typhlosion. While Togekiss tried to get through him, all he could see was the pathetic human that was unrightfully protected.

   ‘He didn’t.’ Red eyes glanced at his human.

   Akari was still shaken. Still frozen as she knelt weakly. One hand held her jaw, fingers brushing the light bruises that started to appear. Her eyes were red with tears. Her mouth was agape, yet words were failed to form, instead replaced with sobs that cracked his very heart.

   ‘He…didn’t…’ Pupils shook into dots.

   Feeling his sanity burning into a crisp, Belial glared forward—glared at the cause of all this.

   ‘All he did was HURT HER!’ Another roar shook the wooden walls. ‘All he ever does—from the moment they met—is bring her pain!’ He no longer saw his beloved mate that stared at him in utter shock. ‘Akari was thrown into our time against her will, yet she has the holy kindness to help people and Pokémon around her! She could’ve hide and protect herself when every single Pokémon was out to kill her! She could’ve abandoned everyone when the humans betrayed her! She could’ve gone when she found out her world is gone FOREVER!’

   His roar shook the walls again. Purple flames flared majestically around the back of his neck. Each scream. Each reminder. All only heightened the alluring fire that could almost reach the ceiling.

   Pieces of the mirror dropped onto the tatami mat. Pieces of the mirror showed a reflection of Akari, hands now cupping her ears and mouth painfully pressed to a shaking frown.

   ‘All she wanted was to be happy!’

   Red eyes shook. White fangs bared.

   Belial still remembered. He remembered how the humans jeered and shunned her when the sky turned red. He remembered how Volo laughed and threatened to have her dead at the Temple of Sinnoh. He remembered how her mind, body, and soul were ripped into pieces by the cruel, cruel reality.

   He remembered. He remembered, he remembered, he remembered!

   ‘All she wanted was to be happy…’

   All those times. All those horrifying times!

   ‘She just…’

   Afraid.

   ‘She—I…’

    He was afraid.

   ‘I just…want her to be happy…’

   Belial was afraid that one day…

   One day…he suddenly had to purify her soul before she could leave this world forever.

   Red eyes shook as vision blurred.

   Volo and Togekiss watched as the fire starter broke down. One gaped in silent disbelief while the other bit down a quivering sob.

   Silence haunted the hollow air.

   Ever since his evolution, his heart no longer beat. But after a second, deep breath, Belial looked forward.

   Gone was his usual, charming smile. He kept his gaze on his mate, undead heart ironically twisting in pain to see sorrow flashing in her beautiful dark eyes.

   Both Pokémon still stood their ground. None refused to move. None refused to back down.

   ‘Belial…’ Togekiss murmured, voice wavered dolefully. ‘I promise you: I want what’s best for both of them.’ Her shield was gleaming, silently telling the starter that it wasn’t disappearing anytime soon. ‘If… If Volo continues to hurt Akari. Or if Akari doesn’t want him anymore…’ The Jubilee Pokémon looked over her shoulder, seeing her friend who had been silent in complete bafflement.

   A deep breath was released through her mouth. ‘We will leave.’ She then looked at the woman behind Belial. Her hands were already down, and Togekiss’ frown only deepened to see the human she grew to love so much.

   Finally, she looked at her beloved. ‘And we will do whatever it takes to escape from you. Even if it means fighting you again.’

   Belial never moved from his position. However, the corner of his eye twitched at the possibility.

   Ah, who knew that his heart was still alive, after all?

   The male didn’t say a word. He kept his gaze on Togekiss. He refused to look away. He couldn’t. He loved Akari dearly—eternally. But to grasp the reality that he may never see Togekiss again truly put a damper on his spirit.

   Truly, Volo was a man who could never bring happiness.

   Closing his eyes, Belial opened his mouth—

   “Please…enough…”

   Red eyes snapped open at the voice he loved so much.

   Quickly, he looked at her. After having a few moments of calmness, regret seeped deeply at the fact that he had made her sadder. ‘Akari!’ Finally, the Ghost Flame Pokémon broke his stance and rushed towards her.

   A few seconds later, Togekiss finally got rid of her Protect. A huge sigh was released, and she swiftly flew towards Volo while looking at the pair in front of them.

   ‘Akari…!’ His voice was gentle. It always had been around her. ‘Akari, where are you hurt?’ he cooed and whimpered, muzzle gently bumping her right arm.

   To feel his comfort now. To witness his destruction a few minutes ago. Akari felt as if she was about to lose her mind. “Please, Belial…” Her voice was a mere whimper. “I… Thank you, but I’m fine.” She had to be. She needed to be.

   Belial wanted to remind her that she didn’t need to be.

   ‘I’m sorry…’ he murmured woefully. ‘I’m truly sorry…’ The Hisuian Typhlosion nuzzled under her arm. He gingerly bumped his muzzle against her bruised cheek. A soft purr was emitted as well in hopes that it would calm her. It hopes that it reminded her that he was here for her.

    Ah, tears couldn’t stop flowing tonight.

   “Belial…” A crack could not be hidden even if she wanted to. Arms weakly hugged his head. “Thank you. I love you…” A warm kiss was bestowed on the stop of his head. “I love you… I love you…” Her hands shook. Her voice wavered. “But I need to be alone right now.”

   Belial tensed.

   Even in a distance, Togekiss could see he didn’t love the idea.

   Akari could sense it as well. “Please…” Palms cupped his fuzzy cheeks. Taking a deep breath, determined eyes locked onto a pair of beautiful crimsons. “Let me be alone right now…” She appreciated what her Pokémon had done for her. She was truly blessed to see what her Pokémon had sacrificed for her.

   She loved them. She loved them very much.

   Tears streamed down a scarred cheek as her smile wavered.

   “Please…” The plea was barely a whimper. Barely a sound.

   It broke what was once his heart.

   Gone was his smile again. To see her eyes puffed up and red. To see her cheeks flushed and bruised. Only a fool would decide to leave her in such a state.

   Alas, he was a fool who cherished his friend.

   He knew he had done his part. He knew he couldn’t do anything more.

   And it frustrated him to no end.

   He watched as she sniffed silently. Red eyes were slowly shut. A low growl vibrated behind a pursed mouth.

   Carefully, he looked at his beloved human.

   Without a word, Belial licked her left cheek.

   The tears tasted salty. He hated it.

   A forlorn smile was given. Respecting Akari’s wish, Belial diffused out of his solid figure and zoomed out of the room.

   Right next to Togekiss. Right next to Volo.

   As he whipped past him, Volo shivered coldly at the pair of soulless red eyes that glared at him.

   ‘Volo.’

   Whether or not Togekiss realized the eerie communication, she chirped to get Volo’s attention.

   The blonde man flinched at her sound. Even with such a sweet and soft coo, Volo knew the situation he put themselves in deserved a harsh scolding at best—and death at worst. Lips tightened to a single line, he looked at her.

   How hypocritical of him to feel sorrowful at the sight of her frown.

   ‘Don’t—’ Togekiss was never one to be angry. Even with all of Volo’s flaws. Even with all of his mistakes. The Jubilee Pokémon accepted and loved him for who he was. Even when the human wanted to destroy the world they lived in, if it means seeing his happiness, then Togekiss was willing to subjugate to such demands and bring his friend the future he deserved.

   But this…

   ‘Please…do not—’ Her coo was sharp, ‘—mess this up again.’

   Her frown stayed.

   Upon seeing such a cold glare, Volo truly felt fear prickling his skin.

   He gave a single nod. Slow and calculated.

   Thankfully, she knew him better than anyone.

   Before she flew away, Togekiss looked at Akari.

   Her body was shivering. Her eyes never met their way.

   It killed Togekiss. It truly did.

   But she also knew: in order for the two to reconcile, they needed to talk it out without any more intervention.

   Her pure heart prayed for the best. Without another word, she gallantly took flight and left the comfort of their own little house.

A good chunk of these men are touch starved so this was fun to write 。^‿^｡ Also, no need to apologize! Your English is fine!

When it came to searching up Damian, this is who showed up so I hope I got the character right! Edit: My dumbass found out that Arven's name is Damian in the Spanish version of the game (plus he kept showing up when I searched up Damian). I hope I got this right so please let me know if I didn't!

✧N Harmonia✧

Instantly attached the moment you show genuine care for him. N had already heard from your Pokemon that you were a magnificent person. They would only speak praises upon praises about how you love them as much as family would. It warms his heart to hear such things. So when he interacts with you, learning that your kindness extends to people and not just Pokemon, he immediately wants to keep you around.

The man has never experienced true care outside of his caretakers (Anthea and Concordia) so he is incredibly touch starved. His lack of experience with actual human beings has distorted his views of humanity and the norm (especially with what Ghetsis has taught him), making him socially stunted. N, however, doesn't feel out of place when he's with you. He truly feels like an actual person and not a freak because of your patience and attentive nature. You were able to pinpoint his struggles and aid him when necessary, never chiding him for the habits he has (speaking quickly, his hyperfixations, the ability to speak with Pokemon, etc.). It was an issue he was facing with after Team Plasma dissolved, but now he feels a sense of security because of you.

That's why N isn't really fond of being away from you for too long. He's grown dependent on your motherly nature and refuses to let go anytime soon. As I mentioned before in his general yandere headcanons post, it's hard to say no to this man when he looks like a kicked Lillipup. You feel extremely guilty when you try to refuse his offers to hang out. He doesn't have anyone else and he finds comfort in you...maybe your friends can wait. N needs you right now.

✧Arven✧

This is the same case with Arven, but he's not willing to admit it just yet. Unlike N, he is not ready to be fully vulnerable due to the grievances he's faced as a child. As we all know, his mother/father wasn't around often and he became independent at a very young age. He is the type of yandere who will keep his feelings to himself as he admires you from afar. Your immense amount of love and affection was so...unfamiliar to him. Foreign. He didn't know how to deal with it at first.

Though one thing is obvious to him is that he can't get enough of it. You're always reminding him to take care of himself and helping out when you can. It was odd since he's used to doing everything on his own. It...it feels good to rely on someone else for once. Was he...missing out on this for all his life? Arven reflects on things before he becomes attached to you. It's somewhat subtle but at the same time obvious. He's always by your side and doesn't go out of his way to befriend others (not like he was trying to do that in the first place).

Arven is so protective over you. It may seem endearing at first, how he stands by your side whenever you're speaking to your own friends. He's like your guard dog or something like that. Holding your hand as he squeezes it gently (you've made it a habit to hold his hand and he certainly didn't object after a few times of it happened) as he glowers at your friends. You insist to yourself that it's just his usual expression, but it really isn't the case in this scenario. He can't fathom why you even need these people when he could obviously provide you with so much. His insecurities eat at him slowly everyday. Aren't you satisfied with having him around? You don't need them...

✧Atsushi Nakajima✧

From the moment you showed your unconditional affections and compassion, Atsushi couldn't believe you actually existed. Not only are you such a warmhearted person, but you don't even expect anything in return. His heart strings are pulled with every kind action and word you take/speak. Coming from a place of hardship and pain, Atsushi had to take some time to process the way you were. It was something he clearly wasn't used to but...he couldn't help but be drawn to it. It's odd to admit it but maybe, deep down, he craves this sort of treatment. Something you just can't get enough of once you have a taste.

Then there comes the fear. You're so precious and ever so kind. It's the perfect set of traits that horrible people like to ruin. The world is just like that; where awful human beings like to destroy the beauty of it all. You're no exception and Atsushi would be damned if he allowed you to meet the same fate. He becomes protective, and why wouldn't he? You're living in a city where danger seems to lurk in every corner. You...understand why he insists to walk you home, right? Not only to make sure you're safe, but also for peace of mind. Though, sometimes he finds himself searching (and following) around for you in secret whenever his paranoia strikes him.

Atsushi can't help it. He simply cannot lose you, a person who has shown his genuine care when no one else did. You are literally the light of his life. The very person who keeps him going. He'd do anything to ensure you are never in any danger. The thought of you dying out there frightens him to tears. Always holding your hand when when it's just the two of you, just to make sure you're still with him. He feels like it's his obligation to do all this. Otherwise...what good is he to you? There might be better people in the world for you but...but he wants you!

✧Oda Sakunosuke ✧

Congratulations, darling! You just earned yourself a protector who will stick by your side no matter what. Oda immediately could see how much you hold your heart on your sleeve (unless there's more to it as he observes you). He admires your personality and has no doubt that you're a light that shines brighter than most. You have his deep respects. The tenderness in your eyes and voice when you aid others is very evident. You're definitely too good for this world. He wonders if you ever have struggles of your own. Oda doesn't mind your care or concern for him, but do expect him to return the favor, no matter how much you protest against it. The two of you are both an adorable sight, honestly.

Still, as a yandere, Oda can be a bit protective but he isn't going overboard in his actions. He does work for the Port Mafia, so he does make sure you're under some form of protection in case of anything. I will say that he is the least yandere to concern yourself over due to many variables that keep it that way. His ability is incredibly useful if anything were to go wrong. However, even then, it doesn't get to that point unless someone really wants to seriously hit him where it hurts. Also, Oda doesn't get jealous often. He has faith in you, your kind hearted self, but he worries about how others can take advantage of your kindness. Oh, and he's honest about that. He sits down to talk to you about it and knows you'll listen, taking his words to consideration. What a lovely man he is.

Oda definitely introduces you to the orphans he's taken in. He knows you'll love them and in turn they'll love you as well. He believes they really do need someone with a motherly presence, given how they don't have that anymore. If he wasn't already obsessed with you before, watching you play with the kids certainly made him want you even more. You've been a lingering thought, a dream to be added to the one he already has. More than ever, Oda wants to be a novelist who writes with a view of the ocean...and you by his side with kids of your own (if you'd want that). His drive to leave the Port Mafia is stronger as he makes sure nothing from that organization reaches your senses. Don't worry...You two will have the life you always wanted.

✧Marrow Amin✧

Marrow is an open book when it comes to how he feels about you (for obvious reasons). However, he won't admit that outright. He has a reputation after all and he can't get mushy on the job. This is what he insists as he quickly grabs his tail to stop its wagging. A dead giveaway of course. Even if Marrow is an open book, that's only half of what's going on. He deeply appreciates your kindness and it's evidently in the way he looks at you when he believes no one is around. Unlike some of the other yanderes in this post, he doesn't have much insecurities. Sure, with his background as a faunus and the potential discrimination he had faced, it could brew about self esteem issues. However, Marrow does not dwell on all that, especially since he's made it this far in life. Even so, he really enjoys the way you treat him.

The man doesn't even have to ask for anything as you go out of your way to assist him. It's cute to him, but he presents his response as a smooth, "Oh, I had that covered" just to dismiss how much he appreciated the help. It's not like Marrow is undermining your actions...and he really does feel bad when he's alone with his thoughts. Especially when you're offering your help to others instead. A sense of guilt washes over him, but also jealousy. He honestly can't stand watching you give so much attention to the newcomers who General Ironwood made official huntsman and huntresses. Like, sure, they're young and impressionable (and he likes them too!) but aren't you supposed to be aid him? I mean, he's the rookie and all (something he doesn't say out loud a lot...). Marrow can't help but watch you longingly from afar.

He's come to be accustomed to your attitude, praise, and warmhearted behavior so it was a matter of time before Marrow became completely attached. He is now sticking by your side more, giving you puppy eyes for his morning coffee, insisting you check him for injuries despite the fact that he only got hit once while fighting some Grimm and much more. Heck, he even hopes you're watching him when training or fighting off Grimm so he can hear from you how amazing he is. It just feels special coming from you...There are times where you feel like all you see in your day is Marrow. It was if your schedule only revolved around being assigned to assist him. You don't question it too much, especially since Marrow was still new to the Ace Ops. He needed guidance and all the help he could get. Is that really true though?

i’m sure most ppl expected this so i’m not gonna make a big deal out of it but!! yes i am going on hiatus for an unspecified amount of time.

it’s honestly quite simple, i’ve just been losing interest in most aspects of kpop aside from the music, which makes writing for it a lot harder than before. i also dealt with a lot of burn out for months and still forced myself to write which only made it worse. lastly, i’m an executive of two clubs at my school this year on top of all my classes, so finding time to write would be even worse than it was before :’) !

How did you find TOA? Well it was first mentioned to me by N a year or so before I actually joined! I was really wanting to get back into the FE scene and so I thought this might be a good start.

Do you think you have a type of character you gravitate towards? I KNOW I HAVE A TYPE I GRAVITATE TO! I never really knew this about myself until TOA, but I seem to gravitate towards knights the most. There is just something about the kind of devotion a knight feels, and how that alters their entire existence.

What do you believe you enjoy writing the most? I typically really enjoy getting into the gritty of things while I'm writing. Explaining emotion and action, why a character is the way they are. I find this most fun with another muse who has close connections to mine.

Favorite TOA-related memory: I think my favorite moment might be when Soji and I reconnected after 10 minutes of me being in this server. We had interacted one time in indie but she had always been on my mind because of how exceptional her writing is. Turns out she remembered me too, and now we're besties and going to cons together!

So about my EW Next Gen kids-

Lately I've been thinking about a few things when it comes to the fandoms I make content for, things I've seen other artists do, and the material that goes unused when I drop an interest n ect. So ofcourse this includes my EW Next Gen Kids as well as my HS kids, and even my Dear Fellow Traveler characters too.

My current interest is obviously Pokemon with some wiggle room here and there for other stuff every so often, but every so often I look back at my shelved characters who I used to love with a passion, and wish I could have done more for them.

With Ew Next Gen and the years I've spent developing the characters, their personalities, and their fictional lives, but with little pay off compared to what I could have done with them if I had had the right motivation and energy.

So this is where I come to the point of this post and why I bring them up.

I'm thinking of repurposing my Eddsworld kids to use in my Pokemon stories.

A lot of times, when I want to write something at random, but don't have a clear idea of the character it starts, I kind of spit out something n run with till the need is satisfied, and the result isn't the best. It ends up luke warm is not chilly. And usually that thing doesn't see the light of day. Ever.

Also, a lot of the best stories I've read taking place in a fandom always has depth beyond canon and the protagonists of the canon stories, and that's something I want for more if my stories too. It makes the world feel bigger and more alive when the focus isn't just a oc interacting with only the canon of the show or games.

This also harks back to what I always loved about multiverse, Aus, and other things of the like, sorta like what I was doing with Cross This n That. By repurposing old ocs, I can write characters I've missed while keeping in line with my target interest.

What I want to accomplish-

While I don't know how far I'll be able to go with any one project I have, I want to start trying to further my design and story telling skills by also looking back at old material and thinking up ways to either make it better with the different tools I have, or how I can repurpose it to work smarter with a project.

So, since my Eddsworld kids are already a more diverse cast everyone already knows, I'm going to attempt writing them into the Pokeverse as sorta a Cross This n That versions that I can use for my Sweetly Sour n NuzTwist stories.

I dunno how this will work out for me, it may cause me to crash and burn, but I'm gonna make a fucking attempt. XD

With that said, as I go along the process of doing this, there will be changes and such to fit the world building, whether it's family dynamics,name changes ect. Especially since my Next Gen kids are in a very specific narrative. So. Oof.

The kids might not ever play big or important parts of the story, maaaaybe I'll use them for one shots, world building and just to try out new things, but over all, I just want to try and have new kinds of fun with Old ocs.

And I just wanted to get this all out there to look back on and be reminded n ect. Ranting about shit really helps get stuff off your mind.

I played Black last year (loved it, especially N lol), and now I'm finally getting into Mystery Dungeon too (I'm playing the DS version of EoS via homebrew). I wanted to try PMD for years, but it did not click for me until just a few days ago, so... When Rads told me you're talking to him a lot about it, I was like 'omg I could use some advice and just have fun hearing about the game!!'

hi, omg this is so sweet! i LOVE pmd2 eos and im always way too excited to talk about it. my sister and i played it together growing up - we'd do individual missions and grinding and stuff on our own but as soon as plot came we'd close the ds and wait till the other was around so we could both watch what happened. i've played it a billion times since then, i just think it's fun! it has a genuinely good story and smooth and fun, if routine, gameplay.

(i'm a fake pokemon fan though, i havent played a main pokemon game since x/y and i havent FINISHED a game since platinum. i obsess over the side games tho lol. the pmd games, the ranger games, and colosseum my beloveds)

advice-wise, i can give you a few tips without spoilers i think? if anyone wants to add more feel free though!

reviver seeds are your best friends. they are more important than any other item. hoard them. spend all your money on them. my sister always told me i was missing the 'spirit' of the game by going into dungeons with 12 reviver seeds, but when one of your missions is escorting a low-level pokemon through a dungeon and another is fighting a high-level bad guy, you will appreciate the reviver seeds then.

you will eventually encounter monster houses. always carry a petrify orb, foe-stun orb, or some other item that will affect an area of pokemon. you shouldn't get monster houses too early in the game but it doesn't hurt to be prepared.

pmd2 is a kids game, and as such you won't need to heavily grind. still, depending on your comfort level, it can be really nice to have a few extra levels. pmd2 also is a game where plot events are scheduled - meaning if you go on a certain number of missions/otherwise use up a certain amount of in-game days, plot points will automatically occur. if you want more time to complete missions and otherwise level up/goof off, you often don't actually have to go on the plot mission, even if an npc says you do. just do your own thing anyway, it's fine. they'll keep reminding you but whatever, lol

to that last point, sometimes you'll be on longer missions and will be offered two paths to take from area to area. it will be obvious which is the correct one, as the incorrect one will always be labelled as 'foggy path' 'dark path' 'rocky path', etc, ending in 'path'. that one will just send you in a loop. you can take it as many times as you want to level grind. or you can skip them entirely if you want to get on with the game!

save, idk, 3-5 blue gummis in storage if you plan on finishing the game and doing post-game stuff. it isn't game-changing, it really isn't important, but it'll save you some minor time and annoyance.

there's no shame in looking up a guide for the personality test at the very beginning that determines which pokemon you play as. if you enjoy the surprise and/or actually want to align your personality/pokemon type, hell yeah! but there's a fun list of possible pokemon and it can be fun to pick which pokemon/type you like playing best as. personally, i love being riolu, learning focus punch, beefing it up with ginsengs, and destroying all in my path. i'm also weak to eevee, skitty, and shinx, because these four were the two my sister and i played most.

don't be afraid to use your normal (non-pp) attack, but also don't be afraid to use pp attacks. max elixirs aren't hard to come by, but not endless. however, you Will Not make it if you never use pp attacks. you'll find a balance!

you can control the moves your partner uses by switching them on/off in their move menu. if they have no moves selected, theyll default to the normal attack. im pretty sure they dont use normal attack if any pp moves are selected, though? you can also edit their "battle tactics" - eg, whether they follow u, seek out battles, run away, etc. this can be really useful as the only character you yourself fully control is the main character. make sure ur partner saves their low-pp high-attack moves for important situations, etc.

this isn't a NECESSITY but it helps if you and your partner are well-balanced or at least not exactly the same type-wise. it'll be just you two a lot, and you'll save yourself a lot of trouble if you picked a partner pokemon whose type balances out yours so you're not struggling through certain dungeons.

if you're using an emulator, save states are lovely, especially since dunegons are all randomly generated, but i know some people consider it cheating and don't like it. up to you!

there will be randomly encountered shopkeeper kecleons in dungeons. unless you can get to the stairs IMMEDIATELY, do not steal from them. jesus christ do not. or at least prepare to reload the game or give up on the dungeon.

if you can, take a bunch of missions at once in the same dungeon and just blast through them all in one trip.

play with the music up if you can! it has a deceptively incredible soundtrack.

i think that's enough to be dangerous with! there's more i could add, but honestly this game is pretty straightforward. if you have any specific questions, feel free to ask! this game means a lot to me, nostalgia-wise, and i genuinely love the story and the characters. just let yourself feel out what your favorite play style is. some people like bigger exploration teams and some don't, some people use every amenity in treasure town and some don't, everyone prefers different items and moves. but in the end, it's a kids game, and i know you'll do just fine!

I spent a month reading harry potter fanfics and here’s what I learned

So for the past three and a half weeks, I’ve been doing basically nothing but reading Harry Potter fanfics and now I kind of just want to talk about them. No one cares but future me will! I tend to get caught in obsessions fairly easily (for instance, two months ago was comic books and last month was video editing and then k dramas). I’m feeling like my Harry Potter obsession is fading which makes me really sad cause it was a fun ride. I went from Drarry to Hinny, time travel to alternate realities, obscuris Harry to Dark!Harry, MCU AUs to Doctor Who AUs. I must’ve read more than 50 fics.

I’ve learned that I hate Dumbledore

Snape makes for a great mentor but I will only like him with proper character development

also where did Snape being Draco’s godfather come from? I don’t think this was in the books? I’m not angry, just confused

I read a fic that was so sad that I was physically unable to finish reading it -- actually I read two of those, one of them was a DID fic and the other Voldemort adopted Harry

the Voldemort one is quite possibly the most tragic thing I have ever read and even though it’s been two weeks I still haven’t been able to recover -- I was only halfway finished too GOOD LORD

another fic I read that was so fucking depressing was a time loop situation where Harry literally couldn’t get out of and it ended tragically

obscuris Harry is interesting but I really only like the ones where Newt is actually involved but I couldn’t find any finished ones

I don’t like it when Harry’s appearance changes, it throws me for a loop

there was this one where Harry got sent back in time and his figure got disfigured and so he didn’t even appear like himself anymore

I just find it odd for Harry Potter not to look like Harry Potter, idk

I also have a headcanon that his hair is very curly rather than shaggy

I haven’t been able to find a fic where Harry goes back in time to the Marauders era and has the right amount of angst but the right amount of fluff

I’ve read some good ones where the Marauders travel to Harry’s time but like,,, it isn’t quite what I’m looking for? I’m gonna have to write it, aren’t I? 

this doesn’t happen with irondad fics, literally everything you’ve ever wanted you can find it there

I read one where Harry did go back in time but she (fem!Harry) didn’t really interact with her parents or the Marauders that much, she became friends with Regulus instead

I’ve not only read fics where Draco has been a Ravenclaw, Slytherin, but also a Gryffindor. I haven’t found one where he’s in Hufflepuff

I’ve read fics where Harry’s in every single house - the Ravenclaw one might be my favorite so far, it had to do with him going to a different timeline where there’s another Harry and he’s a major dick

Hufflepuff Harry one was funny, but it got distressing cause Dumbledore didn’t trust him and tried to get him expelled

actually the Hufflepuff one made my heart hurt cause Harry was put in the body of a Harry who isn’t the boy who lived and barely spoke and was basically like an even more traumatized Neville

Slytherin Harry is everything to me and he should’ve been in Slytherin

Ravenclaw Draco is something that can be so personal

I am once again writing a mini fic about a thing that happened in Masters. First Leon, now N, except I am a proud mother( even though I'm younger).

Summary: Alexis is at his fucking limit.

Notes: I actually don't know if N with Reshiram is a sygna suit pairing or not, so in this fic I'm going to assume that it is. This is gonna be pretty ooc for N too. Oh and this isn't a ship. Enjoy :)

A month. One month. One single month from the whole Leon Sygna Suit incident. But he's over that. It's not like he have been staring at the man longer than he'll like to admit. Of course not! But this? This one's different.

Sygna suits are quite the hot topic around here in Pasio, so Alexis isn't too surprised when people like Cynthia, Elesa, and Grimsley decided to get one. There was a point where he thought to get one himself. So N's new look isn't the thing that's bothering him. In fact he's glad that N decided to spice things up a bit, try something he hasn't really done before. It shows how more comfortable he is with himself and the world around him. That's great!

The problem is Reshiram.

"N." The older man averted his eyes, sheepishly smiling while playing with his fingers. He knows that he's guilty. He knows it. Alexis can't help but be thankful that he isn't acting like Leon one month ago. Acting innocent and oblivious to the things he was literally doing just then.

" Whatcha got there?" Behind N was, of course, Reshiram. The legendary that first chose him all that time ago before N giving it up to Eva. It's face betrays little emotion, though it is standing very close to N, it's wings hovering over his tall body.

" .... Reshiram," N mutters, finally looking at Alexis. Well. Looking down. But that's not the point.

"Mhm. N?"

"Y-yeah"

"What was the pokemon that was your sync pairs before?"

"Zekrom.... But you said it was okay for me to use Storm!" The name of it's partner in crime caused Reshiram to pert up a little .

" That I did, but only because I thought Storm would be your sync pair in the long run. Apparently not!" Alexis points to Reshiram, Fiera as Eva calls it.

" And now your telling me that Fiera, the pokemon you decided to let go and let it choose Eva, is once again your partner?!"

N is silent for a minute, probably choosing his words very carefully. Or at least that's what Alexis wants, cause right now N looks like he's trying really hard no to laugh.

" Ok, but I have a really good explanation for this." N voice sounds like he's holding back a laugh so bad. Alexis raises brow. He has a feeling where this going.

" In my defense," he snickers to himself, " It was funny,"

Once the words fall out of N's mouth, Alexis took a long exasperated sigh, and puts his hands to his face. Arcues damn it Elliot.

" I hate you," he mutters, only causing N ti release his hidden laughter. Alexis takes everything back from earlier. Both N and Leon are little shits and the know it.

"Nooooo, Alexis, nooooo" N giggles coming in for a hug.

" No. Get away from me. No" Alexis says half-heartedly, not even attempting to get away from N's embrace. It's crazy to think that at one point, both of them strictly refused to touch each other. Now you would find them sharing a couch together watching corny movies, vibing. Crazy.

"My brother, oh how I have dishonored you! Will you ever forgive me?" N jokes, even pulling of a fake Galarian accent. Little Shit.

" If your calling me a little shit in your head, I must tell you that I am very much not 'little',".

" I hate you. Get away from me," Alexis says as he tries to pull away from N's "brotherly hug", but N is surprisingly strong.

" Nooooooo, brother please-"

"No!"

"Brother-"

Reshiram( Fiera), who has been watching thus interaction unfold, suddenly moved behind the two, and wrapped it's wings around them. A hug. It's really warm, but now Alexis can't escape N's hug. Great.

So giving up, the two of them just stay there. A hug within a hug. It's really nice, even if they're all standing. Soon N speaks up.

"You know Zekrom-Storm- misses you right?"

"It does?" Alexis hums. It shouldn't surprise him. Storm did choose him to be it's Hero. But it does still.

" Yeah. It's been watching you here in Pasio. Seeing you battle. Seeing you have fun. It's proud of you, but still kinda feels left out,". Despite all that had happened, it still confuses Alexis why his pokemon love and adore him as they do. Why they would ever want to be with him. So Alexis' first instinct was to deny it. N was a better trainer than he is, making sure his pokemon didn't get hurt. Zekrom should be with him that with Alexis, despite all the fuss he made about it earlier.

But there's a small part of him that misses Zekrom as well. There was a sense of self-worth that flooded him when Storm first appeared. That, yes, he was good enough, despite the pain he's been through. It feels....nice to know that Zekrom feels the same. Besides, N wouldn't lie about there's type of things now would he?

" It thinks your a good trainer, and you are!" N emphasizes, pinching Alexis' cheek for good measure.

"Yeah,yeah......thanks" a small smile appears on his face.

" If you want to, you could make a sync pair with with it. Maybe get a Sygna Suit....."

Alexis would be lying if he hadn't thought about it. It wouldn't be a terrible idea....though he does need to check in with Kai, his Samurott.

" I....guess it wouldn't be bad.."

" Yeah! And if you get a Sygna Suit, then it'll be Leon's turn to stare-"

"N!"

Hello, it waas my birthday recently and it gave me an idea so may I have bede taking his S/O out for their birthday?

Happy belated birthday anon! Hope it was awesome! This will be my first time writing Bede and it is post game when he is becoming a better person. GN reader as well.

Life had become extremely busy for Bede since the championship and everything with Rose had come to a conclusion. His training with Opal and learning about the gym had ramped up that he was surprised to have time for any interaction other than Opal or pokemon so to find himself with someone he was coming to care about so dearly as Y/n. It had been during a practice match at the gym that you two had met, something that had been open to more thank just the usual gym trainers as he needed to practice against other types of pokemon.

Of course he had made some snarky comments, nothing like he used to make, but new banter to keep an opponent determined. It was difficult and he had slipped up, you calling him out on it and that just seemed to be how you hit it off. So when he would come to learn that your birthday was coming up he would be going to Opal and politely requesting the day off, though implied even if she said no he would just not show up that day. She would agree though as soon as he said why he wanted the day off, teasing about the two of you as she was that sassy grandma type and by the time Bede could excuse himself he was quite pink in the face.

At least step one was complete, but now would come for the more difficult part. What did one do for someones birthday? His own had never really been celebrated that much, maybe a cupcake at the orphanage and a gift card from Rose so he was at a bit of a loss. He knew some things that you liked of course and he really did not want to have to ask for help so he would think on it, denying there was anything on his mind when you would spend time in the evenings together. You were skeptical, but knew better then to push him too much, so you would be patient for now. If it went on too much longer, though, then you would be a bit more firm in your asking.

As the day of your birthday came up Bede still wasn’t fully certain on what he had come up with, but there was nothing he could do about it now. He had finally decided to go with simple, just spending the afternoon in Glimwood Tangle, it was a pretty place and maybe you would find an interesting pokemon. He had also made sure to pack a lunch for the both of you, some of your favorite snacks included of course and dressed in his casual wear, minus the poofy coat, he would come to find you. He was nervous that you wouldn’t like it, but he would try to keep those down as he saw your surprise when you opened your door.

“Bede? Is everything ok at the gym?” you would ask him first off as you were certain he had training that day as usual, making sure to keep up his schedule. You would not miss the light pink coming to his cheeks, noticing he had his bag with him as well, “I would be a pretty bad boyfriend if I missed your birthday, wouldn’t I?” he huff, looking to the side as he had a quick thought of what if you already had plans?! “I thought we could explore the mushroom grove some, if you wanted”

Surprised you would blink at him for half a moment before a smile was creeping its way onto your face. You had not made a big deal about your birthday, no matter how much you wanted to spend it with him, because knowing how his past had been. The fact he was here now wanting to spend it with you just had your heart thumping happily and you were quick to press a kiss to his cheek, “Just let me grab my shoes and my bag” you assure him, doing so quickly and telling anyone in the house where you were off too. Stepping outside your hand would find one of his own, fingers lacing together and you felt him tense for a moment before giving a squeeze.

Affection in general he was still getting fully used to, but every little thing was helping and he did not pull away. Giving him a smile you would let him take the lead, eyes casting about as you head outside the town and becoming mindful of potential wild pokemon about. You weren’t nervous, you and Bede were both strong trainers, but it was best to keep on your toes. Falling into casual conversation as you continued to walk you would get caught up how his training was going and what you had been up to, the calm feeling of just being together washing over you.

Eventually you would step through a small opening and your eyes would widen in surprise and awe. It was just a clearing, but there was nearly a wall of mushrooms surrounding it giving a bright yet soothing glow. You could see some Morelull and Shinotic along the edges, but they seemed calm and you could just feel your smile not wavering. As Bede pulled his hand away then you would look to see him starting to set up a blanket and a few containers, blinking a bit before coming to help.

A picnic in a lovely spot as this was not what you had expected, though you hadn’t expected anything, so you were more then happy to settle down with him, leaning your shoulder to his own as you both dug in. It amazed you how he remembered the little details of what you liked, but at the same time it made you feel loved. Finishing up your sandwiches you would take a drink before you noticed he was a little tense and it had you softening a bit, “Bede I am having a great time” you assure him as your hand found one of his once more, giving a squeeze.

It was a simple gesture, but you would feel him relaxing again after a moment before leaning in to press his forehead to your own, “I’m glad, I wasn’t sure if this would be ok” he admit and you smile, taking the closeness as an opportunity to press a soft kiss to his lips. “It is more than ok, I love when we can spend time just the two of us” you assure before an idea would come to you, “I have been wanting to add a fairy type to my team, maybe you can help me catch one?”

It was something that you both knew well and it was more in his comfort zone as your kiss had sent his cheeks pink once more. Nodding he would get up and offer you a hand, “Well, that was going to be my gift to you” he smirk, but it was a softer one as he added, “Happy birthday”

Til we Meet Again (Leon x Reader)

My brain demanded some angst to be written and so I did. (This turned out longer than expected, so I’m putting it under the cut)

I gave myself feels while writing this thing, jeez was I feeling depressed when I wrote this or what?

-Saying goodbye is never an easy thing to do, but when you’re leaving behind the people that are so important to you, it just makes it worse-

‘We’re moving to Hoenn’

That single sentence had been ringing in your head for some hours. You still didn’t understand why your parents thought moving to a different region a good idea in the first place, you already have a happy life here in Galar, why should you leave everything and everyone behind, when you didn’t even agreed to this?

You have been roaming in the Wild Area for hours, trying to clear your head and ease the pain that was in your heart. How were you going to tell your friends that you were leaving?

How could you say goodbye to Leon, the person that you hold so close to your heart and that makes your heart skip a beat everytime you see him?

Eventually you went to Motostoke to spend the night at the Budew Inn, a good night’s sleep might help on clearing your thoughts, you really didn’t feel like interacting with people at this moment, but luck wasn’t on your side today, as you run into to Hop and Sonia.

“Oh, (Y/N)! Nice to see you here!” Hop grinned.

“Funny thing that we ran into each other, huh?” Sonia said.

God, why of all the people you could have run into it had to be your closest friends in the whole world.

You tried your best to hold a soft smile, but the thoughts of you leaving them behind started coming, without any warning, tears were rolling down your face. Sonia and Hop got worried and immediately went by your side and asked you what’s wrong.

You were unable to answer due to your crying, so they simply accompanied you inside the hotel, so you could talk in a more private space.

Once the three of you were in a room, Sonia and Hop tried their best to calm you down. After a few minutes, you finally stopped crying.

“(Y/N), What’s wrong? Did something bad happened?” Sonia asked. 

This wasn’t going to be an easy thing to explain.

“Sorry...It’s just...I’m leaving Galar” you wiped with your hand a tear that was coming out from your face.

“That’s all? That doesn’t sound so bad” Hop innocently said, but then the small smile in his face faded as something crossed his mind “You will be coming back, right?”

“No. I’m going away permanently” you tried to hold back the tears that were starting to form in your eyes.

“What…? But why? You have such a good life here! It doesn’t make sense!” Sonia exclaimed.

“It wasn’t my decision to make….” you started explaining how you parents took the ‘brilliant’ decision of moving to Hoenn, all because they think this would give them a chance to have a better life, and how they took the decision without even asking for your opinion on the matter, and you hated them for that.

Hop and Sonia only remained silent, their faces reflecting the sadness they were feeling at that moment.

“Well, if you don’t want to leave, you could come and live at my house!” Hop declared “Lee, rarely comes home, so you could stay in his room!” 

“I appreciate the offer, but my parents wouldn’t allow it….” You sniffed, this whole situation was hard to handle.

“Have you told anyone else about it?” Sonia asked, you nodded your head in denial.

“When are you leaving? At least, we want to say goodbye to you before you leave”

“The day after tomorrow. We’re taking a flight to Hoenn at midday” 

You, Hop and Sonia, spend the night together, despite telling them that they didn’t have to stay with you, they said that they weren’t going to leave you all on your own. Deep down you thanked them, the last thing you wanted to do was being alone right now.

The next day, you helped your parents pack everything up.Your parents were going to take care of the living room, so they told you to put all the stuff of your room in boxes, you only kept silent and directed a cold stare to them, even though they kept telling you this was for the best, that didn’t changed the fact that they made such a life changing decision without consulting it with you too, you were an important part of the family too, shouldn’t you have a voice in this kind of stuff as well?

You grabbed a box and headed upstairs, you took a look around the room, checking everything that was around. There were so many things that brought back lots of sweet memories, mostly about the good times you had with Sonia, Hop and Leon.

You started placing everything inside the boxes, very carefully so nothing would end up breaking. You continued like that for at least an hour, most of the room was already empty, al that was left to put away were a bunch of photos that were over your desk and poster of Leon that hung up on the wall beside your bed.

A thought crossed through your mind in that moment: How were you going to tell Leon you were leaving?

The mere thought of never seeing him again made your heart heavy. Not only were you leaving an old friend behind, but the man that you had been in love with for a long time.

Leon didn’t knew about you feelings for him, no, you decided to keep that to yourself, afraid that it would end up ruining your friendship.

Maybe this whole thing was for the better, if you were living in a different region, you could probably get over your crush for him, and that way you would never experience the feeling of a heartbreak due to a possible rejection....

Even if it seemed like a good thing, deep down, you didn’t wanted that to happen, and even if you tried hard to push those feelings away, it wouldn’t work, you will always have him in your mind, and how could you not? Leon is such a kind and caring person, who has always been by your side when you most needed and gave you comfort when you felt sad.

Memories of the two of you being together started flooding your mind: the day you two met and how he helped you catch you first Pokemon, how he comforted you by embracing you in his arms when you felt like you messed everything up, the times when he made you laugh with his dumb jokes, the days when you would simply contemplate the sunset next to each other.

Tears started rolling through your face, as you placed a hand in your chest. You still had to finish packing, so you put all of your effort in holding back you sadness and kept going.

That night you couldn’t sleep, you still had to tell Leon about your parting before that day comes, but how could you do that, when the whole idea makes you fall apart and makes you sad?

‘I wonder if he’s still up…’ you grabbed your phone and sent a message to Leon.

-Hey Leon, you still up?-

You waited for a response, and in almost instantly he answered back.

-Yeah. You need something?-

You thought carefully what you wanted to say, at first you thought of giving him the news this way, but it felt wrong.

-There’s something important I have to tell you. Can we meet up somewhere tomorrow? I want to tell you in person-

-Sure. How about we meet in Hammerlocke city at 10 o'clock?-

-Okay. Tomorrow at ten in Hammerlocke city. Please try not to get lost in the way-

Well, there’s no turning back now.

The next day, you and Leon meet up at Hammerlocke city at the accorded hour.

You two greeted each other with a hug as you always do. 

Leon went straight up to the point and asked what was that important thing you wanted to tell him last night. You grabbed his hand and led him out of the city into the Wild Area so you two could have some privacy.

You two stopped near the Lake of Outrage.

“Okay...mind telling me what’s going on now?”

“I….” it was hard to get out the words out of your mouth without your voice sounding so broken “I’m leaving Galar” Leon’s eyes widened.

“You’re joking, right? You are just saying that to mess up with me” he sputtered. But when he saw that the look in your face was serious he knew that this wasn’t a joke. 

“Wait, for real?” he said in disbelief. “But, how, when, where?” He was so confused, why where you suddenly leaving the region, he thought you were happy here in Galar.

“It wasn’t my choice to make, Ok!” you didn’t meant to sound so harsh but your emotions were starting to get the best of you. “My parents suddenly decided that it would be a good idea to move to Hoenn” you felt tears starting to form in your eyes, but tried the best you could to hold them back.

“When are you leaving?” 

“Tomorrow” you said looking down to the grass, you didn’t wanted to look at Leon.

Tomorrow….You are leaving Galar for what it might be forever, tomorrow, and you didn’t told him sooner…?

“I….I have to go. I forgot I had a meeting with the Chairman” Leon said that and started walking away from you.

“Leon, wait!” You tried to stopped him, but it was too late, Leon had already called out his Charizard from his pokeball and fly away.

The big day finally came. You and your parents were in the airport waiting for your flight.

You didn’t spoke to them, and instead looked around to see if you could spot Hop and Sonia, after all, the two promised they would come to say goodbye.

You kept waiting and finally you spotted them coming your way, there were no signs of Leon.

“Thank goodness, we made it here on time” Hop was trying to recover his breath, it seems that they came running on full speed.

“I’m glad you came” you smiled softly. “Where’s Leon?”

“I don’t know. We tried to call him, but he is not answering his phone” Sonia explained.

“Though, now that I remember, he came home last night, but he seemed sad” Hop added.

Then it all added up together. He didn’t wanted to say goodbye, ‘cause it was just too painful for him, you didn’t blame him at all for that, this was also really hard for you.

“I’ll make sure to write you everyday, I promise!” Hop said and then hugged you tightly, in all these years that he has known you, he saw you as a big sister, and he was going to miss you so much.

“Please, promise me you’ll at least call us” Sonia said.

“I can’t promise that, but I’ll try” you lied, if you wrote them letters or tried to reach them, it would only make you feel worse and miss them more, and that’s the last thing you want to happen.

‘The flight from Galar to Hoenn will be leaving in 5 minutes’

“Well, that’s my cue” You said, and hugged Sonia and Hop one last time “Goodbye, Sonia” she seemed like she was about to cry, but she tried her best to act strong and kept smiling. Next up was Hop. “Goodbye Hop, please, try not to get yourself in trouble while I’m gone” You could hear the boy crying.

“Please don’t go” he sobbed “I don’t want you to leave”.

“Me neither, Hop, but I have to” you couldn’t hold it back anymore and started crying as well.

You heard your parents calling you, you needed to go. 

You let go of Hop, and waved them goodbye.

You and your family started heading to boarding zone, until you heard someone shouting. 

 “(Y/N)!” No way, Leon…?

“(Y/N)!” He was trying to catch his breath, he ran as fast he could to get to you on time “Oof, I’m glad I made in time” 

“Leon, what are you…?”

“You seriously thought I wasn’t coming to say goodbye?” Leon started “Also, I brought you something” He grabbed a small box wrapped in a ribbon from his pocket “Open it when you arrive to Hoenn. It’s a little something to remember us”

You took the gift from his hands. “Oh, I almost forgot about something!” You opened your bag and took out a pokeball “I’m not allowed to take my partner with me to Hoenn so….could you take care of it in my stead?”

Leon let out a sigh “Of course” he grabbed the pokeball from your hand “I promise I’ll take good care of it”

Then there was a brief silence between you two. Leon got closer to you and placed his forehead over yours

“Please, don’t leave” he whispered.

“I’m sorry, but I can’t stay”

 He moved a step back and then held your hands into his.

“I will never forget about you” he began “Promise me, you won’t forget about me either”

Dear lord, why was saying goodbye so hard. You were about to say something, but you heard your mother calling you, your flight was about to leave.

“I must go” you said with a broken voice, and left as fast as you could, you didn’t wanted to look back, but you did anyways, Hop and Sonia were waving their hands, Hop was already crying. Leon only stood there, his sight always on you, pain and sadness could be seen in his eyes.

‘I love you’ Leon mouthed, or at least that’s what you thought he said, but you weren’t going back to confirm it, you had to go. You finally kept walking and this time you didn’t looked back.

The plane was finally taking flight. You looked through the window, and watched how the plane was starting to take flight and how Wyndon city started to get smaller.

All those moments you spend with your friends, the things you been through together, the joy you shared with your friends and the tears you shed, all of that was staying behind.

All of those beautiful memories will always remain in your heart.

But what hurts the most, is that you were leaving behind you first and only love, maybe forever.

‘Goodbye my dear Leon....I will always remember you’ you whispered.

For the last time, tears rolled through your face, as you watched how Galar was finally staying out of your sight.

“Goodbye my love...” Leon said and then blew a kiss up to the sky, you will always hold a place in his heart.

One day, fate shall reunite you two again, and ‘til that day comes, he would be waiting for you.....No matter how long it takes.

im fairly open-minded and laid back. Unless someones being like, purposely nasty or something I generally don’t get defensive or aggressive. also a lot of little quirks that piss others off dont bother me im very u do u as long as its not actually harming anyone and ive had people tell me this makes it easier to open up to me so thats probably my best quality....

18. what is your worst quality, in your opinion?

....at the same time though i do get very sensitive when faced w/ criticism even if its of the fair variety when its not phrased really gently for various reasons and i dont like that. especially since I have a tendency to not even talk to people about it. I’ll just immediately start distancing myself. also other than that i think overall I have a really high tolerance lvl but if you cross that line I hold a grudge like a motherfucker

9. do you like cats or dogs better?

cats! dogs are good too but cats are a lot easier for me to handle...and quieter generally but even when they’re loud cat sounds dont get to me quite as much as barks do

autumn but im starting to really like summer for some reason? wack :/

the lack of responsibility, probably. that sounds real bad lmao but for me its like...I know I’ve grown in various ways over the years but I also feel like so many of my experiences, my trauma, my mental health has held me back and I don’t think I’m mentally where I should be for my age. so all the responsibility of adulthood is just..really overwhelming for me sometimes, even though ive been given a pass from certain aspects of it and the rest is pretty simple its the idea!!!!

i cant stand passive aggressive behavior. my stance is either get over it or quit acting like a bitch because otherwise im just going to ignore you thats the scorpio way (in all seriousness I really, really do recommend not putting up with it and ignoring it until they decide to be up front with you. it can be exhausting constantly reading into conversations and its not healthy for you or them. if they have something to say they need to learn to talk about it properly, and that lack of social skills is not ever on you)

50. have you ever been to a concert?

yep! i think about....six or so? i love them...which is really funny im autistic and EVERYTHING about them should freak me out and they do in other circumstances but at a show i just live for it

probably that you have to look at your accomplishments differently when you’re disabled or just struggling, to not be so down on yourself because its a fact that what might be a mole hill to someone else is a mountain to you and you have to judge yourself accordingly. Like maybe you weren’t able to clean the whole house, but washing the dishes and tidying your desk doesn’t usually get done but you did it. That that should be celebrated because while it would also feel good if you did more, you still did something and thats great all things considered.

PokespeFavorite character: Tie up between Red and Yellow, I think!Red is a wonderful boy; courageous, kind, intuitive. He’s got a good heart, a great head for battle, and a passion to achieve his goals with his companion Pokemon. Blaine’s words about him always struck me:”Pokemon Trainer. Someone who spends his life with, trusts, and is trusted by his Pokemon. Someone like you, Red.” He may not be a perfect child (overconfidence in his earlier chapters stick out quite a bit, and of course, they showcase his character development!), but, like Blaine, Red is everything I’d aspired to be as a Pokemon Trainer. Yellow is a lovely child with a golden heart. She represents a sort of kindness that I sometimes wish I had more of. Her battle with Lance yielded this conversation:“Pokemon aren’t tools for killing! Even this battle of yours has hurt not only humans, but Pokemon as well!”“I hate fighting… I’m truly sad when any Pokemon are injured… Even my opponent’s!” “Aren’t Pokemon your friends too!?“ Despite her pacifist nature, she’s willing to fight with all she has to protect those she cares for. She feels guilt and pain whenever she has to hurt Pokemon, but goes through it anyway, to fight for what she believes in: humans and Pokemon living in harmony together. And though she may not have the same sort of battle sense that Red does, she can still pack quite a punch, and she has a few ingenious ideas of her own, too (see the Team Rocket on the ship battle).  Least Favorite character: Pryce, I think…? His entire arc was just ridiculously melodramatic, and it didn’t make a lot of sense ^^;  5 Favorite ships (canon or non-canon):Red/Yellow, Green/Blue, Daisy/Bill, Gold/Silver/Crystal in a happy threesome family, Ruby/SapphireCharacter I find most attractive:It might have been N or Steven, but unfortunately, Yamamoto’s art when he was drawing those two was horrendous. ^^;; I mean, dude, noses don’t work like that! So probably Lance from the Mato era… or Red. Character I would marry:Maybe Falkner? He has a day job and he’s a good guy, and he makes gym leader! Otherwise, Steven’s very good husband material. Character I would be best friends with:Maybe Ruby? I too would like to groom my Pokemon endlessly and exclaim over how beautiful they are.A random thought:The Pokemon world is just so fantastical, there’s no way to make it realistic without having to revamp almost 70% of the entire world. ^^: Despite Pokespe seeming like a semi-realistic portrayal of it, there are way too many questions about the way things work in there that a reader still has to suspend disbelief in order to enjoy fully XD;;; An unpopular opinion:I really, really don’t much like Whitwo. :/ My canon OTP:Red/Yellow! The two of them share similar worldviews, something that I think is instrumental for building a good relationship.Red’s words in the same chapter as the Blaine one from above: “Mewtwo’s a pretty scary creature, all right. But all it knows is being held prisoner in a lab. All it knows about humans is that we’re arrogant and cruel. But what if it learns something different? What if it learns that not all humans treat other creatures badly? Find out, Blaine. Teach it.” His optimism and willingness to believe in the world is absolutely beautiful. Yellow had a similar scene in her battle with Lance. “It’s true that humans have done selfish things, taking away Pokemon’s homelands… Stripping them of their food supply… I’ve seen the results of that on my journey!”And later, with Dragonite: "Of course you feel rage toward humans. But think…. His way isn’t the answer! Humans don’t deserve death–any more than Pokemon! Humans and Pokemon can live together! I know it!”Despite knowing how terrible humans can be, both of them still believe that the rest of the world can come to understand things the way they do; that Pokemon and humans are all beings that deserve a chance to live in the same world, in peace and harmony. I love these scenes, not just for the parallels between my ship, but because they really define Red and Yellow as who they truly are. As a note, I put this under canon despite there being no official confirmations or confessions, because I think there are enough scenes (especially in the later volumes) that blatantly hint at the creators pushing them together. Although I’m not completely happy with all of them (some of the writing is way too forced, man), I’m glad that at least Kusaka seems to want them together. XD;

Non-canon OTP: Green and Blue! Although they don’t have a lot of shippy moments in canon (most of the time he’s just going TSK WHAT A NOISY WOMAN at her), I like their pair character dynamics, and the thought of their everyday life together never fails to make me laugh. XDMost bad*** character:Red! But also Ruby. The boy is very, very cool. Other than the humans, Mewtwo and Pika are pretty badass Pairing I am not a fan of:Black/White. I did enjoy the BW arc, but I felt like the two protags suffered from not enough character and relationship development. I was more inclined to ship White with N based on their writing, except of course canon moments obviously support BlackWhite more. For me, however, a few ‘romantic moments’ without any proper relationship developments don’t make me feel like shipping two characters. Bill and Daisy didn’t get any, either, but they’re supporting characters who don’t appear very much, after all. Character I feel the writers screwed up (in one way or another):GOLD. I love the boy, he was so amazing and hilarious, but the fact is, his character arc was completely screwed. Aaaaand I’m going to elaborate on this in the last section of this ask.Favourite friendship:Red and his mons. Also Yellow and her mons. Between the humans, Gold and Silver make me particularly happy, but the Kanto Four together are great too. Specialshippingwhen or if I started shipping it: I think I thought of it as a jokeship at first, when Prof Oak was thinking “Does this child have any thought in her head that isn’t connected with Red”, but I only really started seeing them as a serious ship at the end of the Yellow arc, when Kitty/Piisuke’s String Shot was connecting them wwwmy thoughts:I uh…. I think I covered this in the OTP section above HAHAHAWhat makes me happy about them:The way they’re both happy together just talking about Pokemon and loving them What makes me sad about them:The awkward forced romantic hints that popped up here and there after Mato left :Things done in fanfic that annoys me:I can’t stand it when they’re written out of character. :/ Things I look for in fanfic:Anything in-character. HAHAHAHA. I also appreciate when, despite the humans being the main focus, the Pokemon also play an active role in the story. Who I’d be comfortable them ending up with, if not each other: I guess I could sort of see Red going with Blue and Yellow with Green… My happily ever after for them:Yellow opens a Pokemon Sanctuary somewhere and Red takes over the Gym of that town. GoldHow I feel about this character: As I mentioned above, Gold was completely screwed up by the writers. Up until he read that letter from Professor Oak in Vol 14, he had just been fighting on his own terms. Yet suddenly, when he received a letter that he had originally hoped to contain tips on how to win an upcoming battle, he goes into an existential crisis because Professor Oak didn’t acknowledge that he has any ‘special abilities’! “What about MY abilities? There must be something! Don’t I have an ability that places me alongside the other Pokemon trainers?! TELL MEEEEEEEE!” That melodramatic panel of his silhouette is just… melodramatic. He respected Prof Oak, but not to any extreme degree. Why would he have felt so lost and denied just because a Professor he had barely met a few times didn’t know what his abilities were?To top the ridiculous off, the scene continues with them finding an extra page of the letter and going “WAIT GUESS WHAT. PROF OAK THINKS YOU’RE A BREEDER” and Gold conveniently hatches the Pichu egg at the same moment. And they fly off to fight. And then everything’s okay again? ….DID I MISS SOMETHING! *angry Timon noises* All that angst a page before would have been easily avoided if they just took every page out to begin with! And if it was solved so easily, it obviously isn’t worth angsting over! Gold could have been a great, great character, if only they hadn’t made his point of realization “YEAH I’M A BREEDER BECAUSE PROF OAK SAYS SO”. )o)All the people I ship romantically with this character: None, reallyMy non-romantic OTP for this character: I love his interactions with Silver. wwMy unpopular opinion about this character: I don’t ship him romantically with Silver or Crystal. :/ One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon:PROPER. Yo; It’s been a while since I’ve put up a roleplay ad, but since most of the ones I’d been continuously replying to sort of gradually stopped communicating with me (Which isn’t a terrible thing, I just want to write), and I’ve gotten into a few more subjects and fandoms since my last post, I’m gonna say fuck it, we’re doin’ it again. Cutting straight to one of the most important information pieces; I’m nineteen years old. I’ve seen a lot of ads requesting ages 21+, so I just wanted to make it clear that I’m legal, but If you prefer drinking age and above for any reason, I am unfortunately not your gal. Otherwise, I wish I didn’t have an age limit to roleplay partners, but since I do enjoy putting smut and adult themes into my roleplays, whether it be PWP or into a long-term story, I’m gonna have to set the bar at 18, or above.

I’ve got quite a fuckin bit of fandoms for this one; most of my roleplays, in all my 7+ years of experience, have been canon/oc-- It’s just plain enjoyable to me, creating characters you get attached to and pairing them up with characters you’re already attached to. I really love seeing everyone’s different portrayals on characters they make, as well; who they’re compatible with and all the like. It’s pretty safe to say I’ll probably be doodling a lot from whatever we end up creating; I’m a fervent shipper.

I’m up for a really nice and intricate long-term plot with character development just as much as a PWP short-term, so contact me for either at any time; even if you want to start up a long-term and later in decide you’d like to create a short-term on the side. I’m a flexible roleplayer, I love everything. And that includes kinks, too, so if you wanna throw an idea out in the character-bedroom, than shoot for it, there’s a pretty much 100% chance I won’t turn down anything you offer, as long as it isn’t mpreg. Nothing against you if you like it, you do you-- just not my cup of tea. Double-up isn’t limited to two characters on each side, either; I love adding in side characters and such, so we don’t just have to play two characters each and that’s it.
