taking the fact that ribbon’s name is ribbon entirely too far (and going off their designs) i think it’d be cool if ripple star fashions leaned into frills, bows, and long or exaggerated silhouettes

since the planet is literally just a heart shape i imagine their aesthetics lean into that sort of romantic and elegant vibe. a lot of ivory, pinks, and reds

(ripple dresses up a little different to see her friends tho)

also flower and butterfly motifs. because they’re fairies of course <3

think it’d be a little ironic if butterflies were a symbol of beauty and all that…

also she’s friends with carol and dedede. they can go to pta meetings or something /j

btw ripple star probably exports a lot of silks (because silkworms in a land of butterflies feels right) and luxury items whereas dreamland is more agriculture focused + maybe some livestock and furs

…yeah i’m saying these places reflect their rulers basically. ripple star can be a little more traditional and whatnot. that’s what makes ripple so endeared to her dreamland friends—they’re silly! and yeah, tragic princess angle, it’s my favorite trope—i think that would really pull at her heart

Headcanon: Kirby started vowing to prevent future tragedies from happening

Please note that like most of my other tumblr posts, everything here is purely my headcanons.

I'll also go ahead and post a 'Keep reading' tag pretty quickly. Because this may be a long post, as well as the fact that the things I will discuss here could end up making you really sad if you read it.

Kirby has been very sad about the tragic deaths of Queen Sectonia and Max Profitt Haltmann, and feels awful for Taranza and Susie as they're both grieving over those losses. It disheartens him.

Kirby saw how tragic those incidents were, and so he vowed to prevent future tragedies from happening. At that point, he didn't want anymore incidents to be extremely sad over! Two tragedies was already more than enough, and he wishes they could've ended better.

During Star Allies, after Hyness and the Mage Sisters have been expelled from Void Termina's body, some of the dream friends watched the four sacrified Jambastion cultists get sucked into a rift that took them to Another Dimension.

After Void Termina has been defeated, the dream friends that witnessed those four being sent to Another Dimension then informed Kirby about it, and that's when he decided to have the group go to Another Dimension to save Hyness and the Mage Sisters. This is what led to the events of Heroes in Another Dimension.

The deaths of Sectonia and Haltmann were already incredibly tragic, and so Kirby didn't want Hyness and the Mage Sisters to die as well. He and the dream friends went out of their way to try to save them.

FYI, it was the wave 1 dream friends that watched the Jambastion cultists get sucked into the rift. Coo was the quickest to inform Kirby.

Heroes in Another Dimension happens, yadda yadda yadda, Kirby and the dream friends successfully save the Jambastion cultists.

Hyness survives, as do his three daughters. Kirby successfully prevent a third tragedy from occurring! Wonderful job.

The four Jambastion cultists are very grateful to Kirby and the dream friends. Things most likely would've ended very badly for them if they didn't get saved, and thus saving them made them so happy.

Kirby also successfully prevents another tragedy from happening later in time, during Forgotten Land.

After Fecto Elfilis has been defeated, the Beast Pack reconciled with Kirby and the waddle dees. Well, the Beast Pack, except for seemingly Leongar, who appears to be tragically gone.

But it looked like Leongar could be saved! His soul has been broken into pieces which could only be retrieved in going through the dream realm left behind by Fecto Forgo's memory. Clawroline asked for Kirby, Bandana Waddle Dee and Elfilin to go into that dream realm to save Leongar, and they agreed to her request into doing so.

Isolated Isles: Forgo Dreams happens, yadda yadda yadda. Ultimately, Leon survives and gets saved. Kirby prevents another tragedy, hooray! Thank Nova that he's managed to accomplish this.

Carol and the rest of the Beast Pack were very grateful to Kirby for saving Leon. Oh, how tragic could it have been if he didn't.

These incidents make Kirby even more of a hero than he previously was before. Of course, he's always been a hero, but these incidents of saving people from death just takes his hero status a step further.

The tragedies in Triple Deluxe and Planet Robobot made him very sad. It's made him vow to go out of his way to prevent future tragedies after those, and so far he's been successful in preventing tragedies that could've happened in Star Allies and Forgotten Land.

Kirby is very happy for the Mage Sisters now that Hyness is still alive with them, and he's very happy for Carol and the rest of the Beast Pack now that Leon is still alive with them. He's so proud of himself.

It's really wonderful. Kirby really cares. He cares so much in making sure people can be happy and not lose the one they don't want to lose.

However...

That being said...

Even though he's happy about how the situations in Star Allies and Forgotten Land turned out, that doesn't stop him from continuing to be really sad about how the situations in Triple Deluxe and Planet Robobot turned out. In fact, he's kind of even sadder about it now.

Kirby is a bleeding heart. He cares. He cares so much. He witnesses the grief that Taranza has over Sectonia, and the grief that Susie has over her father, and to him it's all just really heartbreaking.

Susie may not be quite as open about her grief to a lot of people as Taranza is, but she's absolutely been grieving too. Kirby knows about it. He's seen her cry about never being able to make up with her dad.

Kirby wishes he could've helped save Sectonia and Haltmann.

He wishes that he didn't have to put Sectonia down, and he wishes that Star Dream could've been destroyed without Haltmann being destroyed alongside with it. He didn't want for them to die.

His sorrow just added on even more when Taranza and Susie told him about what happened prior that led to those events: about how Sectonia became corrupted by that dimensional mirror, and about how Susie's relationship with her father was long ruined before he actually died as she was stuck in Another Dimension and then became forgotten about when she finally came back to him.

He learned about how Sectonia and Haltmann didn't start out as evil, and became evil due to outer influence. They didn't deserve to die....

When Kirby reconciled with Taranza and Susie after their respective games' events, he's been acting extra nice and sweet to both of them. Over the years of him being friends with these two, he's given them both a ton of hugs. He's felt like that they've been deserving tons of hugs after the things that happened to them.

He's also been going out of his way to visit them in their home places to give them company. He wants them to feel cared about and appreciated, and so he comes to see both from time to time.

Sometimes, it'll even be the three of them hanging out.

Taranza and Susie have both came to really appreciate Kirby as he's been so kind and sweet to them over the years after reconciling with him. In essence, he's been acting like emotional support for them.

Kirby isn't that good at words of encouragement, since he's young, but the hugs and just simply being there for them have gone a long way of being helpful and alleviating for these two tragic friends.

They both act like older siblings to Kirby to an extent. To be fair, all of Kirby's friends feel like some sort of family to him one way or another, but it's helpful for these two as they know that they're not alone.

Of course, they don't just have only Kirby. Taranza and Susie have each other, too. They also have Magolor, as well as other friends. But Kirby is just special. He's everyone's special little buddy, and Taranza and Susie aren't exceptions in having Kirby be their little buddy.

Thankfully, Taranza and Susie have been starting to heal as time goes on. It's been taking time for them to heal, but they're both working on it, and they've become grateful to Kirby as he's their little buddy.

The tragedies in Triple Deluxe and Planet Robobot left a really sad mark on Kirby. He didn't want anymore of these tragedies to happen, and that's what motivated him to put in all the effort necessary to save people. He's proud of himself to have saved Hyness and Leon, and thus the Mage Sisters and the Beast Pack can be happy with the formerly corrupted people that they care about.

He'll also keep doing this in future incidents. He wants to keep saving people. Again, this has increased his status even more as a hero.

Kirby wants the best for everybody. He cares so much.

He'll try his very best to provide the best for everybody.

Why am I like this?

So I had an idea inspired by the Sonic Runners Puyo Puyo crossover. It's obvious Puyo and Sonic should crossover. Because of this

But I think we are forgetting. Puyo wasn't just reskinned into a Sonic game. It also became this

And I had a dream about a Kirby and Puyo crossover. Focusing on my favorite Puyo and favorite Kirby characters. Schezo and Taranza...

And it takes place in the Mirror World. I mean already you can see why Schezo would be a good protag, given he became the Dark Mage after entering a Mirror World. And Taranza has a history with that Mirror.

But really, I think the interesting bit would be how it would get Schezo's character back on track. He went from a kid who wanted to be a hero, to corrupted by the Runelord, defeated by Arle and possessed by Ragnus, and he started to become good ish. He refused to take Wish's power when she couldn't fight back. He sacrificed himself for Arle and Rulue, not knowing he would survive. Yeah he's still goofy innuendo man, but he was a Chaotic Neutral. Waku Waku Puyo Puyo has his power drained and put into Doppelganger Schezo, and as he trains he realizes he doesn't *need* to take magic. He still does, but he's not evil about it. He went from naive kid, to villain, to noble demon, to anti-hero. Modern Schezo is just a grouch. Not an anti-hero. Aside from chasing Sig and then not even doing anything he hasn't done anything remotely bad to qualify as an anti-hero.

And that's where this crossover could come in. A dark Schezo reminding him of what he used to be. Corruption setting in once more (we know this mirror can corrupt) and ending with him becoming an anti-hero once more. Still stealing power, but from those who can fight back, and maybe if we want him to become more heroic, only from villains, at least lethally. He still wants Arle's power, but doesn't want to kill her. He values his few friends, but is still a dangerous person who can and WILL kill. He's not harmless, as Amitie said in the Sonic crossover anymore.

As for Taranza, he lost his lover to the mirror's corruption. He doesn't want to see another fall to it. And also has another reason for the quest - to destroy the mirror once and for all. Also, because this would have dialog, he could be fleshed out. In terms of personality we only really have Tripple Deluxe and Star Allies to work with. Plus him and Schezo could become friends.

I dunno. It's an interesting idea. Sometimes I wish I didn't come up with ideas because then it's up to me to make them happen in fics haha

But this will be on the backburner/probably won't happen. Maybe I'll commission some art of this tho

also the gender ambiguity of meta knight i question. i think all orbs are said to be that way as a way to connect them further to kirby, who is undoubtedly ambiguous in japanese, but meta knight is rarely presented ambiguously outside of that connection. he's always given masculine roles, masculine voices, is never included in things like makeup brand stuff, and even in like. the white day art, where it's all guys, he's included. also as i have it understood, when a man in fiction uses watashi (a gender neutral pronoun, meta knight's pronoun) it's meant to indicate that he's a cold, kind of reserved character which lines up. in my opinion i think the supposed gender ambiguity of meta knight is just a hint that the species he, kirby, and all other orbs all belong to is genderless, but meta knight himself identifies as a man or is at least very very skewed towards that side presentation-wise. so calling him a man is not innaccurate i think (just as calling kirby a boy/girl/other wouldn't be either). never really liked how people always go back to gender = sex when talking about characters of a genderless species, really

I get where you’re coming from - he’s got no officially stated gender in modern Kirby and is oft referred to neutrally, unlike characters like Susie and Taranza for instance (who are explicitly described as a woman and a man, respectively), but he definitely leans toward the masculine end of the spectrum. I def understand your concerns about conflating sex with gender (esp as an intersex trans person myself), but I don’t think MK’s gender ambiguity should be discounted just because his voice and presentation skews very masc, and I don’t think said ambiguity has ever been officially stated to be because puffballs as a species are sexless/genderless. This is all just what’s to my knowledge tho and I’m a little out of it mentally so take what I say with a grain of salt lol

MUAHAHAHAHHA YOU HAVE FALLEN INTO MY TRAP. I WILL NOT SHUT UP NOW!!!!

Ever since the inclusion of Dark Meta Knight in KSA I've been... microwaving him in my head, marinating him in the juices of teories and ideas and headcanons, gripping him in my little corner even when I haven't been doing any art of Kirby...

He is a very simple character, he is often presented as an edgy(-er) version of Meta Knight, his freaking mask is made to look as if he is always frowning (it's funny). He is characterized as a bit petty in some manga (as far as I've seen), kind of a trouble maker.

I hyperfixtated on him for a long time, which eventually led me to search about all the info I could get on the Mirror World, the Amazing Mirror and, of course, the characters affected by this artifact.

Sectonia's case was the one that made me come up with the headcanon. It evolved from the fact that it was the mirror's influence that made her want to become what she ended up turning into. (It also led me to another headcanon about how our Taranza's Sectonia might not actually be dead but that one is long gone lmao).

I don't believe the mirror had the power to create dark ""evil"" versions of whoever looked into it originally. Perhaps it was an artifact made to show how far an individual could go, an artifact that was also a direct, faster gateway to the Mirror World, one that got corrupted by Dark Mind.

I like to believe that Dark Mind corrupted the Mirror itself and that that corruption was never truly "cleaned". It made sense to me then, you know? Having a kind of stronger version of Meta Knight (someone that, as far as I am aware, is constantly looking into improving and getting stronger), the Queen being corrupted (the apparent desire to look 'beautifull', the fact that, if the Amazing Mirror was never cleaned from the corruption, it could lead to the results given in Triple Deluxe).

With Kirby I can excuse it with Kirby's supposed "pure soul", apparently being the reflection of a little being that can fight gods and win even if he is just using a goddam truck to isekai them back nullifies the effects of the corruption. I also could say that Shadow Kirby's intentions could reflect what Kirby wanted during The Amazing Mirror (wanting to protect his home).

As for Dedede... it's a bit more tricky. What I could get is that the king, like Meta Knight, wishes to become stronger than he is, so there's that, maybe, I'm unsure. I need to do more research for this.

(I am not considering Dark Taranza in this because I think of him as exclusive to Kirby Clash Deluxe and it's universe).

Now. To get into more detail about our beloved dark knight.

Where's that music coming from--?

As I said before, he is a very simple character. Not a lot is really going on there so that pretty much just encouraged me to just make something for the guy (It might be just that I like the black/white/red tho).

The way I came up with the current humanizated design was by taking in count this headcanon about the Mirror. He is not only supposed to be a corrupted version of Meta Knight's views of how he wishes to become stronger, but also a desire to look into his past. Kind of like the longing for simple times but also refusing to go back there, there's no way to go back, there are only memories but unfortunely for him a very annoying Dark Knight is there to constantly remind him.

I wanted to specially get this across by giving Dark Meta the loose hair, opossed to Meta Knight's tied up hair. I have it in my mind that, if I were to draw the younger Meta and talk about his past headcanons, I would draw him with long, loose hair.

With all of this and Dark Mind's corruption and control over the mirror in mind, and the possibility of this eyeball being dark matter as well, the idea that Dark Meta didn't have much control over his own thoughts came. He was pretty much being mind controled into doing Dark Mind's will and didn't know but much about not being rude, or angry, or attacking on sight after Dark Mind was gone (even if sometimes he'd get those flashes of memories that are not his, where he sees through his eyes what kindness is like). He plays the role of a edgy guy to keep an image up, after all he, unfortunaly, has some of Meta's own traits and concerns about public image.

This thing about the mind control too.. it's what lead me into my own vision of how the fight against Meta went in KSA:

Dark Mind's corruption never truly went away, but he manages better nowadays.

Nightmare x Zero: TOXIC old man yaoi, big bad villains tryna take over the universe. Zero hates Nightmare's stupid lovey dovey antics, but it's either that or they fight one another for eternity and make no progress on their goals. Nightmare is fully aware of how much Zero hates it and finds it funny/adorable. Less romantic and more a shitty business deal they pretend is a marriage.

Galactic Nova x Kracko: Queerplatonic ancient beings that just want to stay out of the public eye, a silly and grumpy duo :3 Nova can fix Krackos cold ways tho

Dark Crafter x Yin-Yarn: More old man yaoi (30s-40s), you see the vision right. Do I gotta explain it. Okay just for clarity: Craft themed spinoff game villains. Flamboyant gay and chill gay. They're the "He ask for no pickles" meme.

Zero Two x Lor Starcutter: Both products of Halcandra and carry the weight as a couple of the last beings to personally bear its memory, and its hardly even good memories honestly. They're both such sweeties <3

Miracle Matter x Flutter: What do you mean you don't know Flutter (/sarcasm)??? I suppose at this rate this is just OC x Canon but do any these mfs really have any character??? I do what I want. They are an adorable t4t sapphic duo that also embody the "(s)he ask for no pickles" meme. I would say more but I'd have to write a whole ass fic to make anyone understand QwQ

Susie x Sectonia: Not sure how rare this really is, rooted in the audio drama. And don't question how Sec is still alive she got better or like necromancied back to life I dunno! Their fields of interest are Very Different but I think they have alot to learn from one another! mmm... what if sectonia's soul was like trapped in like some sort of dream realm due to her being connected to the dreamstalk in death?

i mean as of Star Allies it seems like her soul hasn't been taken by Morpho since Taranza can summon the "Queen's Phantom" which looks similar to what Forgo looked like before Morpho took his soul. (Purple and smoky with pure white eyes)

So what if the reason that Morpho never took Sectonia's soul is because its like out of reach. Like they cannot physically get to her soul because Morpho cannot get into this dream realm. u know...

And I mean Sectonia probably wouldn't be the only one trapped in this dream realm cause like. Nightmare is also linked to dreams technically (i mean it's specifically nightmares but nightmares are basically just scary/bad dreams ok)

Birth of a Wish chapter 2’s first page debuts on the 27th, should have weekly or biweekly uploads depending on how crazy the school year gets.

More nextgen comics, one regarding Papi and one regarding Taranza will be in the works.

So Marx is the obligatory best friend of Magolor, basically been there for him for a long time and wants to stay by his side when things get hard. Taranza is no longer a sad boy and is a pro at helping others with their problems, especially grief. So a good fellow to go to when death happens. And Susie… is likely going through her own thing with this, I can only assume she feels some form of guilt from the news of meta knight’s death due to her history with meta. She’ll definitely be by Mago’s side tho since the two are very good pals.

I think he's like 15, which means he's that age where he thinks he's smarter than he actually is and it REALLY shows

Him, Magolor and Marx are PEAK boys will be boys energy. He may be the single braincell within the trio but my god he is not immune to the other twos stupid antics. They're bad influences but it's the most fun he'd ever had so it balances out

Dedede saw tiny misguided spider and went "oh shit the dad instincts are kicking in". There's no excaping the dad instincts but Taranza never really had a dad (he was an orphan) so this is very new to him but he is very happy.

He's a garden snob.

Sometimes he hangs out on the ceiling, because again, spider, nobody likes this.

Daroach!

Just as Dedede has the dad sense, Daroach has the fun uncle sense! He's just as bad with not accidentally adopting kids. Though unlike Dedede, he DOES have biological children. Where do you think the squeakers come from.

Magolor is one of those kids now. He saw lonely catboy and went "O shit free kid".

Daroach will invite Mags to go "treasure hunting" with them for ancient artifacts because he knows Mags likes that (he makes sure they're not filled with evil stuff tho. Learned his lesson after dark nebula)

You mess with the Squeak squad (and honorary members) you lost your living privileges

He's defiantly not the best influence (He is Literally a Professional Theft), but like sometimes!!!! You need a dad/uncle that will do crime with you if it makes you feel better about your life!!!!!!!!

He's just a fun guy, he cares about you so much too. What more could you want!!!!

I am fully on the same boat of wishing Marx and (especially) DMK being given more depth, it’s quite a shame how uncommon the concept is in the en fandom.

I think one of the main reasons for this was how in Taranza’s and Susie’s respective games, they were given more depth and personal stories (allowing players to feel more empathic towards) While with Marx and DMK, they were brought up in the early stages of the Kirby series (before we had villains like Magolor)

It doesn’t help that neither of them had pause screen dialogue that suggest anything more than what fans already knew about them.

Tho I have seen a variety of dynamics and interpretations of Marx and DMK in jp and kr side of the fandom. Ideas like DMK being a cheeky bastard towards Meta knight specially, or Marx keeping a arms distance from Kirby and being confused on why someone he betrayed would try to befriend him.

There truly is a lot of potential for characters who are deemed a blank slate, while characters like Taranza and Susie, are characters whose stories have already been told and explored.

That, and I think fans generally wish there are more 'bad bitches' characters (even though it seems out of character for the series in general) So having a variety of characters on different moral scales can be really interesting (though the kirby series isn't especially known for that tbh)

Basically, it probably would require more interpretation and fanon to give DMK and Marx more depth, but sadly they haven't been considered in recent years (whether it be fanon or canon)

Just saying,

Susie and Taranza have done bad things, did'nt have redemption arc, but the Kirby fanbase wiew them as mostly good people because they had tragic backstory.

But when it come to Marx and DMK, while having similar profiles, everyone sees them as purely evil, as instead because they don't have any sad past.

Backstories explain why people act, it does'nt excuse how they act nor does it make them better persons.

Like, why not have them with a personality, with their own insecurities, and conflict, like the other character do ?

There's a lot of more interessing interpretation of those characters than just potraying them as shallow bitches, is all I'm saying. It's not very realistic, and it's boring. It does'nt even fit the theme of Kirby, wich is love, friendship and forgivenness.

Also, there's already an astounding amount of people doing it...

hey gamers so i was listening to this song (midnight moonlight, remix of triple deluxe final boss themes) and had some ideas for a comic / fic? about kirby and dedede going to visit taranza .

heres my disorganized rambles from the notes app .

-id like to think that like. every few months kirby and ddd go to visit taranza . -its that time of the month again . look kirbys got his mess of a calender right here . its got a silly flower doodle on the date -wake up wake up wake up we gotta go cmon wake up -ddd is barely awake . hes annoyed . huh . what . what is it why are u bothering me at 7 in the morning -kirby enthusiasitically pointing at the dreamstalk out the window . sigh . oh boy time to fucking climb huh -no matter how sleep deprived and grumpy you are , u cant let down a promise to kirby . hell drag u along regardless . -bandee's also coming . yeah -ok so now were starting the climb up the dreamstalk . kirbys flying a bit ahead. hes using beetle because better flight . ddd's behind em carrying a bunch of stuff for a picnic later . hes like climbing climbing . strong . bandee is helping -hey are you sure ur alright carrying all that . well yeah ofcourse im fine lol. im the strongest guy ever ive got this . <-- is exhausted -kirby enthusiastically greeting everyone they pass . oh hey its one of floralias funny flower fairy guys . hi ! hi there !! how are u !! hes like an energetic puppy . he sees literally anyone and is overjoyed . -maybe the people of the sky still hold ddd extremely highly right . like yeah were well aware it was initially a misunderstanding that u were the hero of dreamland but ur still our hero . they personally helped/watched ddd when he was doing that section with the cannon,, and probably witnessed him helping to free kirby so he could finish the final blow on sectonia . -but yea i think it would be entertaining if hes like . a super big deal to them . tries to act all cool like yea i know im the best haha . he is a selfconscious mess and this is how he disguises being flattered -ok so eventually we meet up with taranza all the way up near the castle in royal road . -taranzas happy to see them . hes constantly trying to tidy up in little ways like fixing his hair and straightening out his scarf and such . even tho hes sorta close with them hes a bit of a perfectionist and wants to be seen as well put together . -we do silly fun things . have a picnic in the garden . taranza teaching the others about plants . bandee is fascinated by his rambles . in the past taranzas been shown to think of himself as very cool and clever sometimes so maybe . he plays chess with ddd some . you know snickering to himself when he thinks hes about to make a really smart move. ddd playfully teases him over it -maybe at one point taranza gets a bit gloomy . maybe hes staring longingly at a dreamstalk blossom and feelin sad over sectonia again . ddd could try to reassure him a lil . give em a pat on the back -kirby suddenly remembers somethin . runs over to his bag and pulls out some flowers local in dreamland that he had brought for taranza bc he knows he likes that sorta thing . taranza cheers up a lil bit . somethin somethin thematic about learning to cope and move on some . accepting the love of the people around you now while still retaining part of their memory . -they hang out until sunset . idk maybe they spend the night or somethin its a long way back

i might try to draw a few of these ideas later . just . thinkin about the guys ykno im replaying triple deluxe again and MAN. that game. is so fucking good .

Ok ok so my brain kinda went off on this tangent of “hey, Taranza and Snatcher have been through similar circumstances, but had very different outcomes.” which eventually devolved into...

My friend helped me with some of the ideeas lmao. also this is gonna be a bit long, so a whole bunch of ideas and concepts are under the cut!

ok but anyway: Dark Taranza is Snatcher, Sectonia is Vanessa. 

Ok ok hear me out here, yknow how Snatcher used to be the prince? Well Taranza would be the prince in this, and his weird transformation of idk becoming a weird grumpy ghost man who’s a stickler for legality is his soul becoming Dark Taranza or whatever. Much different than kirby lore as DT and Taz arent the same person, but! it! works!

Kirby would be Hat Kid, Bandee would be Bow Kid. 

it just makes sense. 

Also instead of time pieces it would be little stars i guess? I’m thinking maybe either Kirby is trying to reform the Star Rod..? The spaceship would just be like some wierd star-shaped ship reminiscent of that thing he was in in the cartoon but just. bigger I guess.

OH ALSO, so yknow how getting yarns gives you new hats that give you different abilities? weeeell, you also know those like copy ability orbs? Well, Instead of yarn, Kirby collects shards of those to piece the orbas back together to get new copy abilities!

This might be a bit of a shocker as the rest of this is all game-related, but Tiff as Mustache Girl. 

Just. think about it. In the cartoon iirc she’s the one to always get angry when nobody does anything and just Lets Something Bad Happen. and that’s a lot like Mu! 

To go along with this, Mafia Boss is King Dedede! 

Kinda fits with how he used to be a tyrant, but also involved the cartoon a little bit because iirc, he kinda just. showed up and claimed he owned the place? and that was kinda what MB did????

(all the mafia goons are rlly mean waddle dees lol, not quite sure what this means for Bandee tho. actually, where did Bow Kid even come from? Is that ever said or am I missong out on lore? Maybe Bandee just saw how much of a tyrant DDD was and wanted to get away for a while and spend time with his new friend Kirby)

Magolor is DJ Grooves, Marx is The Conductor. 

Imagine DJ Grooves but if he was a lot more shady. Lying to Hat Kid about her chance at stardom. Every time he calls her “darling” is an act to try to her her to trust him so he could use her to bring him to the top. THAT wwould be magolor >:) a real bastard but he tries to be way too nice about it so you believe he really likes Kirby and not the fame he’s bringing him with his movies (he does grow to care by the end of the chapter though)

Yelling, swearing, wanting everything to be under his control and everyone to listen to his every word, ambition, recklessness that still follows a loose plan; minus the swearing I really think Conductor and Marx are alike lmao, if anything Con’s just much more grumpy but who cares. If The Conductor was much more enthusiastic, I think it’d make things more fun anyway. Marx’d be blowing things up out of sheer excitement and lust for destruction.

Alpine Skyline would take place on Ripple Star 

iirc, Alpine Skyline’s plot had a lot to do with a growing darkness making life dangerous for it’s inhabitants as it slowly took over. Sound familiar? haha dark matter go brrr. Ribbon would be there or something. I don’t remember any significant NPCs in AS. 

Badge Seller would be Susie. 

I have nothing good to explain this we had nobody else if you have other suggestions please help me.

Now for DLCs:

Nyakuza Metro would be. uh. Squeakuza Metro. Daroach would be Empress I guess. 

I know nothing about Clawroline so I cannot make her play that role 

I know almost nothing about Empress but. she runs a gang. and uhhh is fabulous

kinda funny that the cat becomes a mouse i guess idk

Seal The Deal would take place on the Halberd, Walrus Captain would be Meta Knight

I dont know anything about Walrus Captain sorry if this sucks

The seals would be various meta knights I guess? idk i feel like the meta knights are more competent than the seals but who am i to say i dont remember anything about STD
