Reading physical copies of The Queen's Thief series for the first time and realizing that the maps in them are inconsistent???

#the only map i'd really seen before was K's map to P in Thick as Thieves #but now looking at the map from the last story of Moira's Pen I'm like. wait. the empire is opposite in this one.#like according to K's map C and K generally move west in TaT but the other map has them moving east #it's not that big a deal to me bc i had to read the entire series twice to conceptualize where anything was #(bc i spent the whole of The Thief not realizing just how important every nation mentioned was. good move mwt you genuinely fooled me.)#but now that i thought i had it down i am once again thrown off #also the map that's referenced in Moira's Pen shows up in the physical copy of TaT?#the beauty of this series is that I NEVER would have guessed what was up in that story even had i seen the map beforehand #anyway all i wanted was to conceptualize where Roa was & now i'm like spiraling. like is K's map incorrect bc its from an imperial lens #which honestly? yeah absolutely (it makes the peninsula look so small) but also how would the mede empire have #conquered so much land with inaccurate resources even if it is for propaganda's sake #nothing in this series is accidental so i'm like *pepe silvia meme*#anyway this is just me trying to put my thoughts somewhere ignore me my tags are a mess #The Queen's Thief #The Queen's Thief spoilers #like not exactly but since everything is spoilers i'm tagging that just in case #Thick as Thieves #Moira's Pen

i keep getting tiktoks of these younger gen z kids referencing a time they did something relating to fandom in public and now they're embarrassed by it and everytime i see one i sit there thinking over all of middle and high school and having genuinely 0 moments that i feel embarrassed by, like i definitely did a lot of shit these kids would be embarrassed by but i think these are all just really fucking funny

also photographic evidence of the kinda kid i was. these are from 2014/15 when i was in 8th grade

-desolation row one shot(still on wattpad gerard way/reader smut)

-twerk it on (mcr crack fanfic no longer on wattpad but i have another fic in my library called twerking in taco bell which definitely ALSO used for my reading log)

-frank iero must die(a serial killer/assassin frerard fic, still on wattpad)

-hair (really vague maybe a phanfic? nowhere in my wattpad library rip)

my binder i used in 7th grade i had a blue one that looked pretty similar to this for 8th grade but idk where it went, also the parts i scribbled out are my full legal name i had written on it. i wrote it normally and then the big spot is where i wrote my name REALLY BIG in elysian code from the vladimir tod books. also the lines are from when i used an exacto knife to cut up some papers and forgot that my binder was underneath

in conclusion yall can now see why im so shameless about talking about shigaraki the way i do

#base line i started sobbing IN THE MIDDLE OF MATH CLASS and had my phone taken away bc i was watching the mv for the ghost of you by mcr #i went to school with cat whiskers #me and my bsf made a presentation about an imaginary trip to the planet uranus and we filled it with so many memes and butt puns she started #laughing so hard she couldn't breathe and i had to do the entire presentation alone and we got a standing ovation #my 8th grade science teacher hated us #another time same class we had an assignment where we had to make a bunch of words with the periodic table and we did shrek and lucifer one #after another and when we turned it in our teacher read it and immediately told us to leave💀💀#same class again different friend we saw NA on the periodic table and started singing nanana by mcr and got sent out of class bc we started #laughing so hard we couldn't breathe #high school i would eddie munson on the lunch tables #found that aspect of eddie so relatable #filmed youtube videos at my old hs that STILL EXIST ON MY YOUTUBE CHANNEL #id honestly have them up for anyone to see but my old bsf found them extremely embarrassing and she thinks i deleted them #i used to go to school with a whole library in my backpack like the entire pjo/hoo series of unfortunate events harry potter etc #my backpack had a bunch of doodles on it and it said battaco big asf and it was an inside joke with my friends for years bc of it #i also used to go to school dressed as frank iero/gerard way/etc #pete wentz eyeliner #larped with the anime club in this little corner outside of the library bc it had a bunch of trees and a 6 ft long stick that we took turns #holding and screaming YOU SHALL NOT PASS‼️‼️#the middle school book club had movies days on fridays and when people tried to vote to watch the lighting thief movie i stood on my chair #and spent so long bitching about how bad it was that we had to do the movie the next monday bc people needed to go home and the librarian #could not stop my righteous fury #a teacher assaulted me trying to get me to stand for the flag so i dead weight dropped on top of him and then ran around the class to stay #away(real hard to do in a small music classroom) and when i got tired of that i beat him up a little and i didnt get in trouble bc he was #really embarrassed i got the drop on him(bc i had tiddies)#that man hated me for being trans #really got mad at me when the pledge started after that and id get up and salute while singing welcome to the black parade #was also genuinely bad at soccer that my teacher sent me off to other teachers when our class did soccer bc the only time i ever got the #ball i kicked it into the wrong goal #i got more stories but i ran out of tags :(

OHHH THIS IS A FUN ONE…

Sort of in order (1 is the only true top dog in my opinion)

1) soulbeast ranger! I’ve almost exclusively mained soulbeast for the past 3 years bc I like ranger but I also like not really having to worry about my pet and just. Absorbing them <3

2) base warrior is so much fun to level I honestly like making warriors just to level them lmao, I just think the adrenaline mechanic is fun!

3) base engineer (also bc they’re fun to level and I like using pistols and rifles on em they’re a real treat) I would like to eventually try mechanist tho just bc having a big mech friend sounds so cool

4) mirage mesmer! For the most part I don’t really mess with the light classes seriously but my second main is a mirage mesmer and I like being able to zip all over the place that is kinda fun!

5) vindicator revenant, it took a little getting used to but I actually kinda like how the dodge mechanic was replaced with a bigass stomp, and it’s so satisfying to use. Also the effects just look badass

Absoloutly love “The Corkscrew Job” for the ot3 moment of Hardison and Parker fighting to help Eliot. It happens so rarely I feel like because Eliot’s always the one taking the hits for them but there is a few episodes where it’s them fighting and it’s usually to help Eliot.

sometimes i go somewhere by myself and shut the door and put my headphones in and turn my music up as loud as itll go and dance as big and frantic as i want for about 30 minutes to an hour and then when im done the world looks beautiful again but it always does make me kinda sad because i shouldnt have to dance with my earbuds in the bathroom

My stupid ass listened to Big Thief Masterpiece right when it came out so I could have said I liked them before they were cool, except for at the time I DIDN'T like the album because I was just listening to it like 😡this isn't Buddy Holly 😡 and all the subtle lyricism and musical complexity went completely over my head. I've matured so much since then-I learned that a slow quiet song can be good!

#big thief #I talk about hating Elvis Costello a lot but his music really did help me get a better appreciation for these things #Like the boiling the frog from my Aim is True to King of America helped #Also listing to Radiohead.

In no particular order, I have now seen:

Lupat, Kyuranger, Zyuohger, Ninninger, Shinkenger, Kiramager, Goseiger, Gokaiger, Abaranger, Donbrothers, ToQger, Magiranger, Kakuranger, Hurricanger, Go-busters, Jetman, Boukenger, Timeranger, Megaranger, Carranger, Liveman and Go-onger. (also gonna count Strongest Battle for giggles...)

I have a few episodes left in Kyoryuger and Gingaman... Recently picked up Ohranger again... and I've seen around nine to twelve episodes of Zenkaiger for data purposes.

And of course I'm watching Kingoh as it comes out!

#Started watching in Feb cause my friend was like 'hey did you know sentai did a phantom thief season' and I said 'NO WHAT!?'#WHY DID YOU NOT TELL ME THIS!?#my two FAVORITE things are phantom thieves and colorful heroes and big stupid robots and cool fight choreo are also up there!!!#it was all downhill from there...#started literally the week kingoh came out and i started that on week two i believe waaahah!#I always knew about sentai i think... don't know particularly when i became aware but i had the feeling of 'i'd probably really like that'#but i'd never seen... only takes cool thieves for me to get in apparently waaaahaha!#for those wondering... Currently I have so many bg3 saves bc I refuse to delete my old ones that will likely never be finished (first ever gameplays, not optimized, everytime I open one I get overwhelmed and stop), but also because I keep making new games with the specific purpose of romancing a certain companion, seeing special dialog, doing a specific style of run, or getting an achievement on steam.
