Can you tell me your favorite blood splatter pattern facts?

i dunno if i have a favorite but it’s really interesting that you can figure out how far a drop falls based on how it looks!

example: if it’s from pretty low, the edge might be a bit wavy but it’s mostly a circle (like if someone was sitting on the ground with a bloody nose) or if it’s from higher it would have a much more jagged and chaotic edge with some bits that fly a bit further upon impact (called satellites) (if someone was standing with the nose bleed)

there’s also different types blood spatters and those can tell you a lot about what happened! (if the victim walked or was dragged away, the kind of injury (repeated attacks, something to the neck, coughing up blood, that sort of thing) i dunno, i think it’s real neat

The thing that upsets me the most about the idea of Tumblr going down (besides losing contact with the people here) is the fact that if this place goes down I spent years getting better at making gifs for nothing. I cross post my videos on youtube and tiktok anyway, my fics are all on ao3, but gifs have no value anywhere else. Not in the way they have here. We can put 30 of them in one post. The possibilities there are endless. No other site right now offers me the possibility of making this silly little set. And that's upsetting as hell.

Alr, I'm going back to TADC now. I've been seeing some theories that Jax I'd an NPC, and I really don't know how to feel about it. On one hand, their reasoning makes sense, but om the other hand, I just can't believe it'd be true.

For one, my friend said that at the end, Jax's reaction could've been like he didn't feel comfortable after Gumigoo's (don't know if I spelled it right) death because it just reminded him about how easily he can just be deleted as an NPC and therefore left to do smth else. I'm not quite sure how to back that up with "Oh he's not am NPC because blah blah blah," because it kind of would make sense.

However, we see in the beginning that Caine says "I'm testing out a new AI in this one! It should be 57 times more immersive!!" (pretty much meaning the AI will be 57 times more deeply engaged/involved). I feel like that would kind of mean he learned how to make more advanced AI's and we see that Jax is already pretty advanced and human-like. If Jax was an NPC from the past rather than present, then I'd assume that the old NPC's used to be less immersive and human-like. Therefore, it would not make sense for Jax to be so immersive, talkative, or whatever.

I've also heard from this one video that in the endish, when we see the circus members grabbing Pomni's hand, we can see Ragatha's, Kigners, Zoobles, and Gangles, but not Jax's, and that he doesn't care about anyone but himself. They also said he has the least human reaction than anyone in the circus. I think the reason we don't see Jax's hand is that because he wasn't present at the end and Pomni didn't seem as 'close' with him as she did with the other circus members. But then again, she never did really interact with Gangle or Zooble in either episodes, so I'm not 100% sure on that.

As for the part where he doesn't care about anyone but himself, I think that when we see his small frown and reaction at the end, that could be him being too uncomfortable or maybe disappointed about the loss of Kaufmo that he wasn't going to sit through the whole funeral. Not sure how true that would be, but the I feel like that reaction would be just a BIT important.

Him having the least human reaction could've been just him having fully adjusted to the chaotic and unpredictable events that happen and him just embracing that.

BUUUUUUUUUUUT again, that's just a suspiciouslybad theory

Edit: I also find it kind of weird to believe Caine would make such a destructive and rude NPC, but it is believable. In the close beginning of Episode 2, we see this one NPC accidentally or intentionally shove/push Gangle and break her comedy mask. It also yells something along the lines of "LOOK ITS THE PRINCESS!!!" in such a loud and chaotic voice. It's kind of weird to think that Jax would be one of those destructive NPCs, considering he does a lot more than break masks, including throwing a bowling ball at Kinger and Gangle in the pilot. But who knows, maybe Caine used to make super destructive NPCs back then and never really changed some of the NPCs he makes now.
