Okay, I’m about to go full Pepe Silvia on the August lims but here’s my insane prediction.

- Ever since the introduction of the two random lim reruns, one of the three reruns a month have had a character that ended up being on that month’s lim banner

- August’s reruns are cafe rec, Halloween 2022, and NY 2023, this means that one of the characters on the end of August lim banner should be Airi, Mizuki, Saki, Shiho, Kohane, Minori, Tsukasa, An, or Rin

- Kohane and Minori both have 7 lims so they can’t be lim

- Airi was lasts month’s lim so she can’t be lim

- Rin is on vs wl so she can’t be lim, and if Mizuki5 is MizuEna 4 stars, since one of them needs to be anni, the event would need to be directly after August lim, so she can’t be lim either

- This leaves us with Saki, Shiho, Tsukasa, and An as possible candidates for an end of August lim

With that, I’d say there’s two likely options for August lim:

- L/n hako lim - Most likely Ichika5, clpl has been obsessed with hako lims lately, between Saki and Shiho the one not lim here would be anni

- Tsukasa mix 3 - Clpl seems to be trying to get the leaders 3rd mixes done fast, also could be a easy explanation for the whole Kasa5 fiasco

I’d say An is much less likely since she’s 4 stars on the current event and has a chance to be anni, but there is a slim chance she could be August lim

Anyway that’s my prediction, I’m ready for clpl to completely destroy it, but they’re always really fun to make!

the 'rule' you mentioned also applies just to the random rerun banners on their own, really seems like they're just asking for money from fans atp LOL. the only exception is July (intersecting melodies + CGO->ideal idol), though that's probably down to the fact they're running out of gachas to random rerun.

if we go based on the random rerun rule, then Tsukasa is indeed the only one who works. while he has one of the highest 4* counts in the game, it can easily be balanced by just not giving him another 4* for a while. he needs reward 2*s as well so you could easily just make him 2* on nene5 and call it a day. unless nene5 is october lim and then he has a good chance of being lim there instead of august. the characters we know can definitely be lim are mostly from wxs or l/n, so we've got connections there that make sense too.

alternatively yeah leoni hakolim is an option. i think the lineup is most likely to be ichika/saki/honami if this happens (or just generally though you could swap honami for a vsinger) mainly because saki cannot be reward card and leoni can't get another vsinger lim for quite a while, also this works to make shiho the anniversary lim. it opens up another opportunity to have another perm mixed event too since we skipped over a lot of slots that should've been perm mixed in order to balance unit events between WLEs. it'd be frustrating to have a fourth hakolim since april but if it happens it happens ig.

to go on a tangent (again) i've seen a lot of people predict rui/honami/mafuyu, which i think is an option but i feel like there's too much weighed against it. from a meta perspective it makes a lot of sense, like all 3 of them haven't had a lim in a while and are eligible for this gacha, plus storywise they all have connections, but that's about it. mafuyu and rui just had their kizuna and it still feels off to me that they'd give them that just before an event rather than after when they would have a more fleshed out relationship, plus honami and rui were both featured prominently in rise as one only a few months ago, and the game tends to avoid rehashing mixed event lineups so close to each other (i mean we did have minori/shiho on two mixed within 5ish months but shiho was only a small role in wedding).

yeah i think the most likely events will be leoneed hakolim or a lim banner featuring tsukasa (for money). or they could do the widely predicted rui/honami/mafuyu banner or totally pull the rug out from underneath us and do something like an ichika/nene focused event (you could probably still put tsukasa here tbh).

you know, I assumed this was NOT AN ASK IN GOOD FAITH so i kind of just ignored it but actually i do want to talk about WHY JACK PERRY??? because??? why him??? ACTUALLY, YOU KNOW WHAT, LET'S FUCKING TALK ABOUT THAT. fuck it, we ball, i've had wine.

i found wrestling in very very late october 2022, and i came in via tumblr on hookhausen. specifically, i came in for hook and not danhausen (and this is important), because emotionally repressed characters are SO MUCH MORE FUN when it comes to fanfic. but i came in late, and slow, and it was HARD and learning who people were and what was happening took MONTHS. by december of 2022, i only knew the best friends, old team taz (from fanfics), and lee moriarty, because he and hook had that banger of a match in nov. 2022 where hook died for 8 minutes straight. i was watching, but kind of spotty, and largely ignoring things that were above what i knew (which was most things!!!).

junglehook happened in dec. of 2022 and hookhausen fandom went NUTS being PISSED OFF about it. me included!!! i was so damn mad!!! (and at this point, i had been in this fandom for less than two months) and i kept saying i HATED JACK so much except weirdly enough, if you look back at the fic i wrote during this time, i... wrote a lot of him. IT'S PRETTY WEIRD. like i wrote that choose your own adventure fic, and everyone was supposed to kiss hook in the branch, except i vividly recall sitting in the basement of my office writing the junglehook branch going WHY ARE YOU HAVING SEX???? because things just write themselves around here THE POINT IS. i kept saying i hated him, because of hookhausen, but i sure didn't write nearly as much about anyone else during these two months that i claimed to hate lol. I THINK I KNEW BEFORE I KNEW. but i came in for hook, and jack was in hook's story, and therefore, i was paying attention to jack.

so when the pillars storyline started in march of 2022, i was operating at a neutral zone with jack. he showed up in half of my fics despite me claiming i didn't like him. i'd started writing them as besties (which i still love and adore). and literally, all he had to do with the pillars story - because at this point i STILL was not functioning very well with who the other wrestlers were and what was going on - was keep my attention. I KNEW HIM, AND THEREFORE I WAS WATCHING. all he had to do was keep my attention. AND HE WAS LIKE NO I AM GONNA BE AS FUCKING WEIRD AND HOMOEROTIC AS POSSIBLE and listen do i think jack was like oh fuck fandom is fucking pissed at me for getting in between this big current pairing and therefore i am going to find THE CLOSEST PERSON I CAN WHO DOES NOT HAVE A BIG ESTABLISHED FANDOM PAIRING TO BE FUCKING WEIRD WITH no i mean c'mon. BUT. all he had to do was get ME lol. it's actually kind of funny because that is ALL HE HAD TO DO. get me. and oh. oh he fucking did. i hope jack walked out of that pillars storyline like NAILED IT because HE FUCKING DID.

when i started paying attention to that story, and going onto a deep dive to jack's history, that's when things fell into place for me. because as i started reading and learning the story for him, where he had this super weird close mentorship that turned on him AND stripped him of his long-time best friend in the process, AND then he ended up emulating the very thing that ruined him... i was like oh. holy fucking shit. this is an abuse story. i've lived this story.

do i think they meant to write it this way? i mean, probably not - in terms of wrestling as a genre, it's a pretty standard betrayal arc. but if you get down into that, it's a fucking tragedy. between jack's jungle boy gimmick being as naive as it was meant to be, and christian coming in to be this great "mentor," and lucha leaving in the big betrayal in a one-two punch, it's a fucking tragedy. the sheer amount of trauma that has been heaped onto jack's backstory is staggering. him finally snapping and becoming the same? honestly shouldn't have surprised anyone, but. a lot of people don't seem to pay as much attention as fandom does so lol.

anyway, by summer of 2023, i was solidly in jack camp. he'd become, by even that point, most of the fic i was writing. (i remember vamp asking me if hook was even my primary comfortable POV at that point, and it was THE MOST TELLING QUESTION TO BE ASKED because he... wasn't?) and when brawl in happened, and certain people made it clear where their loyalties were, it honestly wasn't even a question for me. i was team jack. i left a patreon. i wasn't gonna fuck with people who clearly didn't give a shit about my guy, i was all in (pun intended). and it's been JACK FUCKING PERRY ever since.

so why jack perry? because he could have quit. he could have given up on the only fucking thing he's ever really wanted to do when the community turned on him, and he didn't. because he's created the richest, most heart-breaking backstory imaginable. because every single thing he does in his characterization tears at my heart and makes me wanna claw my own eyes out. because he's a fucking lovely, wonderful person that i want to find nothing but success and love and happiness. because he's my fucking god damn hero, and maybe one day i'll be able to tell him that in person. and also because FUCK, his character is the just unimaginably full of fic possibilities no matter which particular trait you decide to focus on. because i imprinted on him like a fucking duckling.

anyway he's great and amazing and i love him. and that's why lol

if anyone's curious about him, my ask box is as always open ^-^ but to be fair he's still VERY underdeveloped, so i might not be able to answer all the questions. all i can say for now is he's probably some sort of politician or has some sort of influence in one of the bigger cities/settlements in Evo. also he's an antagonist/anti-hero in that side story and he most likely either joins Huen or works with her for some time.

i did have a few other potential ocs that i could use. for example, i created Reymond around the same time as Brendon, also for Evo. there are also the 3 major gods from Deiterra, since i only created their official designs back in 2022(?), but idk if they count, cuz they DID exist beforehand? i just never drew them before that point? almost all of my other ocs are old or REALLY old and i just keep rebooting/redesigning them every few years lol.

The Surprise (2015). Also available on Tubi. After inking their own death warrants, an eccentric millionaire and distraught woman fall in love and find voiding their contracts isn't an option. Romance! Dark humor! The k-drama truck of doom, except it's a Dutch movie! (Disclaimer: I do not recommend watching this film if one is suicidal)

From Prada to Nada (2011). A modern Mexican-American adaptation of Sense and Sensibility that surprisingly really works?? The title is woeful but the movie is pretty darn good.

The Lady Vanishes (2013). Iris Carr is traveling across Europe by train when she befriends Miss Froy, an elderly English woman. But when she wakes up from a few hours' sleep, Miss Froy has vanished. As fellow passengers claim the lady never existed, Iris fights to discover the fate of Miss Froy - and prove that she's not going mad.

Love and Friendship (2016). Adaptation of Jane Austen's Lady Susan, starring Kate Beckinsdale. The main character is the definition of gaslight gatekeep girlboss, and the supporting characters are all just. so funny.

To Tell The Truth (1961). If you just want something to distract you that doesn't take a lot of thinking, old game shows are ideal. In this one, a celebrity panel tries to guess which of three strangers is the person they claim to be.

Masterpiece/PBS Passport Shows.

All Creatures Great and Small (since 2020). Season 4 currently airing. A feel-good (but unafraid to get real and sad) show about the misadventures of a country vet practice in Yorkshire.

Miss Scarlet and the Duke (since 2020). Season 4 currently airing. In 1880s London, the daughter of a private investigator decides to take over his detective business after his untimely death. Mystery series that also has just about the BEST opening titles ever.

Forever Young (1992). The movie where I realized that Mel Gibson was cute, actually. In 1939, a heartbroken Army pilot volunteers for a cryogenics experiment and wakes up in 1992, where he gets a second shot at love.

The Space Between Us (2017). On his first visit to Earth, a man born and raised on Mars bonds with a street-smart young woman while unraveling the mysteries of how he came to be. To quote my mutual Chris: "wanna cry? 🥰"

The Dick Van Dyke Show (1960s). Some of the stuff hasn't aged well, but this is still one my top favorite old sitcoms. All the characters are so fun and endearing. You probably won't want to sift through all five seasons, so my top episode recommendations are "The Curious Thing About Women" (s1 e16), "The Two Faces of Rob" (s2 e2), "That's My Boy??" (s3 e1), "Big Max Calvada" (s3 e9), "October Eve" (s3 e28), "My Mother Can Beat Up My Father" (s4 e1), "4 1/2" (s4 e7), "The Impractical Joke" (s4 e16), and "Coast to Coast Big Mouth" (s5 e1).

Trevor Noah: I Wish You Would (2022). The best Trevor Noah special, in my opinion. The curry story??? Iconic forever and ever.

The Full-Time Wife Escapist (2018). A woman takes a job as a housekeeper, but in order to stay in it, she and her boss agree to a contract marriage. If you've ever seen the k-drama Because This Is My First Life... This is the better version of that show, imo. The ML is suchhh a sweetheart.

Indian Matchmaking (since 2020). I never watch reality TV, so I don't know how I started seeing this show, but it's SO good and super bingeable.

If you haven't yet watched The Artful Dodger (2023), you absolutely should. Come for the romance, stay for the absolutely bonkers, insane hijinks.

I barely started watching Timeless (2016), but it looks really fun and good. It's about time travel, unsurprisingly for me 🤭

Baby's Day Out (1994). A childhood CLASSIC of mine. The cuteness is just. so much. The humor is standard slapstick, but really fun, and the mom has some of the most gorgeous 90s outfits omggg

Hidden Figures (2016). I love this movie endlesslyyy. Awesome intelligent Black women overcoming the odds, space race setting, and even a side of cute romance.

The Art of Racing in the Rain (2019). Dare I say, best dog movie I've seen?

The Call of the Wild (2020). Another dog movie, with Harrison Ford. I don't remember much of it but I remember really enjoying it.

Milo Murphy's Law (2017–2018). Have you seen this follow-up to Phineas and Ferb? If you haven't, you need to. The comedy is so gold tier and the music slaps.

Delicacies Destiny (2022). I kind of stopped watching this c-drama about 1/3 of the way through, but I totally should pick it up again, and it's worth watching even if just for all the gorgeous food scenes.

I first got into TVC when I was 14, which is almost 21 years ago. My 13yo foster sister and I were completely obsessed with Buffy the Vampire Slayer. 

I was aware that there was a vampire movie with Tom Cruise and Brad Pitt and wanted to see it. I have a much older half-sister and the three of us ended up having a movie night at her house. We watched Interview With the Vampire and The Blair Witch Project.

We were all very 👁👁 throughout the entire movie. Then I bought a boxset of the first four books, foster sister and inhaled the first three books, watched the QotD movie and got very pissed off by how terrible it was. 😂

We were like, "Guess we'll always have the books 🤷‍♀️". I ordered TVA, because QotD had left me completely Armand-obsessed, and started reading Tale of the Body Thief.

I don't remember quite what it was, but Lestat says something at the start of TotBT that my 14yo self just thought was so stupidly retconny that I went, "Yeah, fuck that". I think it was something about how he only ate bad guys and that that was somehow in service of Jesus? Whatever it was, I wasn’t having it, so I put it down and never picked it back up. 😂

Then in my late teens/early twenties I followed Anne Rice on Facebook for a while, but I got kinda creeped out when she started addressing everyone with 'dearest People of the Page'. I distinctly remember thinking, "Lady, I'm here for gay vampire reasons, not to be in a cult". 😅 So I unfollowed her and spent about a decade not thinking about TVC very much at all.

AND THEN in early summer of 2022 the YouTube algorithm informed me that AMC was making an IWTV show. I reread IWTV and in October thought, "Let’s give this a go."

I had my reservations because I still remembered my teenage rage at the QotD movie, and I wasn't sure how I felt about them changing the time period and casting 'some old guy' as Daniel (sorry Eric! 🙈).

BUT THEN Jacob came on all, "Dear Mr. Molloy, did you know you can orgasm just from hearing a man's voice? Wanna finish what we started half a century ago?" and my head just about exploded!

This is the second interview?! They’re revisiting it 49 years later?! OMGGG, that's the most genius storytelling move in the history of storytelling! 😱

I watched ep2 right after and then desperately needed to yell about the show with other sickos. So I joined Twitter and started reading fic again (which I'd only really done when I was 17 and obsessed with that wizard school franchise), started writing fic, joined fic-themed group chats/Discords and made a Tumblr so I could (lovingly) yell at other fic writers.

And now I've published over 150k words in fic and there's IWTV fan art all over my house. 😂

So it was really the show that made me come back to stay. It's just thee best TV show of all time to me.

And as much as this fandom can be a shit show, it's really helped me stay sane while grappling with my long covid, which has left me very incapacitated in many other areas of my life.

Asking me for my headcanons has the same effect as asking me for my favorite movies or songs in that it immediately makes me forget any headcanons I ever had. 😂

You're right that I write a lot of them into my fics, which are mainly me exploring my headcanons and asking myself what if...? I have a couple others, though I'm not sure these are really headcanons or more actual theories, though, so I apologize if this wasn't what you were looking for.

- I've mentioned this one before, but Louis and Lestat had a grand old time during their honeymoon phase between Louis getting turned and Louis almost eating Grace's baby. I think people tend to make too big a deal out of Louis being an unreliable narrator but it's a little too convenient how quickly he skips over those 6-7 years. I think he doesn’t like to think about how much fun he had with Lestat just having all the sex, getting super rich and eating whoever the fuck he wanted.

- Daniel isn’t going to give a single fuck about the ethics of killing people in order to survive once he finally becomes a vampire. We already know he’s selfish and a hypocrite. I can just see him fully ready to view all humans as savory inferiors once he’s no longer one of them.

- If show!Daniel ever met Marius, he would punch him in the face. 🤭

- Santiago is going to be SO jealous of Louis's relationship with Armand. I don't care if Santiago and Armand end up having zero homoerotic tension between them on screen, they're fucking to me.

- I'm also a Claudeline truther. Show!Claudia doesn’t need a parental figure the way book!Claudia does but she very much yearns for romantic love, and she did say Charlie was the last boy she'd ever love, and went after the woman when Lestat asked her if she wanted the Mr. or the Mrs. in ep7.

The T5 release will be in July and the actual comeback is in August. That means there will have been 11 months between 2 album releases and that seems insane to me. But Treasure has worked so hard this past year, they literally didn't have time to comeback sooner. How do other groups do this? Straykids, Twice, NCT etc they go on tour but still have multiple comebacks per year. How?? Are they not severely overworked or is JYP, SM, HYBE etc just better at time management? (that might be it tbh lol)

It feels unfair to ask of artists to have a comeback during or immediately after a (world) tour, but fans see so little of a group during a tour that it feels as if they weren't doing anything (no new music or big promotions etc)

For example Blackpink has been on tour since oktober 2022 and it will last at least until August 2023. That's almost a full year of touring! Jisoo had her solo debut and they did Coachella and they will perform at Hyde Park.

Right now everyone is saying that they deserve a break, Jennie performed 3 songs with an IV drip today, but had to leave the stage because she felt so sick, Jisoo had covid last week, the girls have all been seen with injuries. Only now will fans be sympathetic. The tour will be over, October 2023 will come and go and people will complain and riot that Blackpink should have had a comeback by now, only a month after their world tour ended.

And like, I'm not pointing fingers here, I've also been impatiently waiting for Treasure to make a comeback. I've had to remind myself how hard they've worked since last october.

They did so much promotion on youtube for Hello era which gets overlooked a lot because they did less in-person promotion in Korea.

Immediately after the comeback promotions, they did 'Hello concert in Seoul' + The exhausting Japan tour from November until January while also rehearsing and attending award shows. I remember being so worried for the members because that schedule was inhumane, it was way too much. Half the members had gotten sick, Junkyu lost his voice for three concerts, Jihoon was severely sleep deprived etc + they had to film content for Treasure World Map (which all Teumes should watch btw! it really doesn't get enough appreciation. Every episode makes me cry tears because they truly act like family 😭)

January and february they were seen filming Tmap + that's when they probably filmed a lot of the new episodes of T-talk, 3 minute treasure, fact check and tmi-logs + they shot the welcoming collection

March was the start of their Asia tour where they kept shooting for TWM + multiple members have said that at the same time they were working on the comeback.

My point is, they have had back to back schedules for the past year, they couldn't fit a comeback anywhere until now. Ideally, Treasure would take a well deserved break now, the tour ended, maybe they could visit their families (I was shocked when Jihoon said he only sees his family 3 times a year because of their busy schedule) or travel or maybe just rest for a few weeks and take a break from their Idol life... But they can't... Because it's been almost a year since their last comeback and fans are getting anxious. Just this week they have barely uploaded on social media or communicated with Teume (probably because they've been so busy preparing for the comeback) and already fans were having a hard time (me included btw and I feel bad because I still have a lot of Treasure content to catch up on, but it's not new content you know? So it's just not the same 😶)

All of this to say that I'm so happy Treasure is having a comeback but seeing Jennie so sick during Blackpinks concert and getting the Treasure announcement on the same day... It just made me think about how much fans ask of Idols... fans keep asking for more until their favs are sick or injured because they are overworked and suddenly fans change their mind (They should rest!, the tour should be cancelled! etc) but they will have forgotten about that by the next day, because it's always more fun to get content and it fucking sucks to wait.

"Eddie, I swear to God, if I make it out of here alive, I'm breaking up with you," I griped, clenching onto his arm even tighter than I already was.

He chuckled in response, that motherfucker. "You know, they say this house is haunted by the ghost of Old Man Hawkins himself," he smirked, his left eyebrow cocked as high as humanly possible.

"I'm going to kill y- EEEKK!!!" I screamed as probably the fifteenth clown popped out at me.

Eddie's grip around my hand tightened as he leaned over to kiss my hairline. "Are you really that scared of haunted houses?"

I kicked him right where it hurt when I muttered, "Yes, Edward, I am."

His mouth scrunched sadly. "You don't have to pull out my government name."

After what felt like an hour (but was most likely only a matter of minutes), we finally made it to the end of the haunted house.

A blood-covered, knife-wielding Michael Myers stood near the door, as still as a statue.

"Never again, Eddie," I whispered as we cautiously approached the door.

The knife flew up to my chest, just inches away. "I hope you had a scary good time, little lady."

I screwed my eyes closed for the hundredth time now as we made our way out the door. I took a deep breath of fresh, night air, relief falling heavy on my shoulders.

"Now, was that really that bad?" Eddie teased, taking off his leather jacket and tossing it over me.

I didnt even get to enjoy the relief before we heard a rustling in the distance, like a bird stuck in a tree or a bush. I whipped my head around quickly, locking eyes with a shaking hedge near the edge of the parking lot.

"Ed-" I was cut off by the sound of the bush crackling even louder.

I squealed as Eddie raised a hand in front of my head, signaling for me to be quiet.

However, I obeyed his command, immediately zipping my lips closed. The rustling became even louder as we approached, the hedge shaking so hard I was surprised it didn't move from its original spot.

Eddie tip-toed closer to the bush, the sounds of the chains on his belt loops jangling with every step he took. He stood barely a foot away from bush, and-

"Meowww."

I nearly jumped on his back as the black cat found its way out of the bush. Eddie doubled over laughing at my behavior, earning him a slap on the shoulder.

"It's just a little cat," he chuckled, kneeling down to scratch its chin. "Hey there, buddy."

I breathed another sigh of relief, though I couldn't say I was completely immune to the "bad luck" superstition. I secretly said a prayer that we didn't die on the way home or get poisoned later when we stopped for dinner.

Eddie stood, pulling me in for a playful kiss, his pumpkin-pie-scented breath hot on my face. "I love you, even if you are a superstitious baby girl," he mumbled against my lips.

I pouted, tempted to pull away from him. "I suppose I love you too, bat boy."

Love Yourself Speak Yourself: Seoul The Final DVD Disc 3 Part 1

This package was released in October 2022 and covers the final concerts performances in Seoul from their Love Yourself Speak Yourself Tour in 2019 on 191026, 191027 and 191029. There are 3 DVDs included in this package. The first 2 DVDs cover the actual concert in full from 191029. The 2nd DVD also includes the last part of that concert as well as day 2s solo stages. Disc 3 includes the pracitce making film and rehearsal making film, the concert d-day making film and the tour highlights and commentary film. It took 3 years to release this footage but omfg am I so thankful for it!! Part 1 is here which covers the first 2 discs. This post will cover Disc 3.

Practice Making Film:

Jin giving lowkey shade to the 94z for showing up late to their first practice for the Seoul concerts. Lmao Jimin dancing cutely in front of Jin. When Hobi finally shows up JK just collapsing on his lap in a hug. That's Hobis baby 😭😭😭 Jin sitting on top of both of them just for that to transition into a piggyback ride when JK gets up 🤣 Jikook playing together. And we get a small glimpse in the background of what looks like JK massaging Jimins neck for him too. Jimin sitting next to JK as he does warm up push ups too. Lol it's always chaos before they get serious about practicing. And Jikook doing whatever it is they were doing together with their arms and being silly 🤣 (link above). Everyone discussing the medley options and if they should or where they should add Run into the mix and while Listening through all the songs, JK just listens while drapped totally over Jimin all cutely. Lol and Jimin just unbothered, bouncing along to the beat 🤣 you can see JK trying to not start laughing 🤣 Just Always together those two.

Jimin giving Tae the sweetest backhug during Mikrokosmos practice 😭 Jin petting JKs head as he eats snacks reviews their speaking lines going "help yourself" MY SOULMATES 😭😭 all going over lines together JK jokingly asking why his is Serendipity like the man hasn't said Serendipity is his favorite on my occasions and just randomly sings it constantly. If staff was taking random guesses to fill in blanks for a reading, I don't blame them for making that guess at all. Lmfao especially because after being told they can change it to whatever they want and otherwise making suggestions on what to say for the rest of the time and for the concert too, JK just pokes and sings to Jimin teasingly and they do their little Serendipity finger thing. It's their song for sure 🤣🤣 so cute and sweet.

Day 2 of practice! Jihope reminiscing over their Mashup boy with evil x lie performance! I love it and I hope they know exactly how iconic that performance still is! Watching back old footage of their younger selves to review and teasing namjoon for messing up (?) LOL and Jimin teasingly scolding Namjoon on the screen informally since he at his current age is older than the namjoon in the video and making everyone laugh 😂 Yoongi cutely borrowing and trying on JKs glasses. Which I also loved them and want a similar style please

Next practice is the full rehearsal day! Jhope asking to listen to the full of everything to make sure it sounds good. JK attaching himself to the back of Hobi through him listening to the entirety of run. That's his baby X2! They do their solos too! Jimin playing back up dancer for Hobi and making him smile. He is so cute. Also joining JK in dancing for Euphoria. Lol he is so cute and JK loves it so much. He was so extra with it too more so than when he did it for Jhope. Probably because when he didn't, JK turned and was like "why aren't you doing it??" Lmfao he ADORES Jimin "practicing" Euphoria with him for sure. Even lifting JK up pretending to have him fly into the air 🤣 (link above). The chaos of the Best of Me rehearsal. And then of course Serendipity. Where Jimin starts off acting super cute to make his members laugh. And ends with JK joining Jimin this time to be his back up dancer. They are.... so cute

Tae Making Hobi laugh with his popping dance. JK laying on the floor all cozy and being Taes cheerleader through his solo practice. And then doing the same for Suga right afterwards too. And Tae being Sugas backup dancer and JK watching it all unfold highly amused. Lol Taekook being the most enthusiastic backup dancers for RMs mic drop verse, while Namjoon hip thrusts to it from the floor 🤣🤣🤣

Rehearsal Making Film:

Rehearsals took place the day before the concert im guessing, as they referenced "tomorrow" when talking about performing and being worried about it raining. Suga arriving early because he is worried about the timing while walking on the treadmill belt for his seesaw performance and really works hard with the staff and dancers to make sure his performances will be perfect. And the super cute Sope high five/hand off of rehearsal stage space as Hobi arrives as Yoongi is finishing up. Hobi also arrived early to do an extra round of practice and working with staff as he also made some changes to how he wanted his stage set to look. Jin arrived early as well to do the next rehearsal for Epiphany this time with water falling down instead of a piano on stage. And after Jins rehearsal, the other 4 members were also finally there and ready to get started!

Yoonmin showing up in accidentally matching hats is the cutest thing. Hobi pointing out Suga sitting at the Dionysus chairs super focused and everyone giggling and Jimin immediately whipping out his phone to take a picture of him. Lol my yoonmin. Yoongis fascination over his mic matching his shoes is also extra adorable! Namjoon got rained on when he was trying to practice for his solo!! It just started pouring! Poor Joonie. It's so cute listening to the other members be so happy and cheer for Tae and Suga from the green room listening to them sing and rehearse. Always so supportive. JK the biggest SeeSaw enthusiasts rapping/singing along with Yoongi as he listened through his in ears. Lol saying he had never even seen the lyrics to SeeSaw but he practically has it memorized anyway. Adorable. It just makes me think of this 2018 tweet from JK honestly 🤣

Everyone finally back on stage! And Jimin dancing with his soulmate before getting distracted by all his pockets and teasing him. JK walking over to stand right up near Jimin and see what the heck he is doing too. He also wanted to play 🤣 Jimin's satellite 🥰 Jimin taking selfies with everyone and also tucking Hobis hair so cutely behind his ear 🥺 Jungkook staying late for extra Euphoria practice to try and be as perfect as possible! They work so hard.

This covers the first 2 videos from Disc 3, the next part will cover the concert D-day making film, which is about an hour long and it amazing! Thanks for letting me share!

Hagging Out- Semtember 2022- Hand Baskets

So as some of you know this month went off the rails on me almost immediately, with my cat Shy passing on the 8th, which is the day after my oldest sister who died birthday, and also childhood trauma, September fucking sucks for me already, so I tried my best to occupy myself with #haggingout but well this probably won't be my best entry just heads up going in, also I wanted to do a separate Autumn Equanox post but lost the spoons so I'm Hulk smashing em together hope that's alright Dirty

It was appropriately overcast on the Equinox this year, also check out my nails I've never had em this long before (I chewer) and this weeks the fist time I've painted em since I was like fourteen! Having em long was helping me detangle Shys fur, she also liked me runing em across her head, so I was motivated to not chew, I couldn't cut em or chew em right after she died so the other day I decided to paint em for spooky season, funnily the last time I painted they were probably black to,

I didn't do to much for the Autumn Equinox this year I was having a pretty bad brain day so I did offerings to the land, to the Horae (the seasons), to the Anemoi(the winds) asking for a wet winter, they've been to dry lately, and thanking them for the harvest I got/am getting,

that loaded backwards, but fuck it you get the idea, I gave oats and some tea that was starting to go bad, I figure rotting leaf juice is a good land offering, I also finished the last of my solstice/equinox working, I started December 2021 I finished September 2022, whew, and I almost forgot to do it too!

So while I still have some pumpkins on the vine mostly the harvest is winding down, here's my broom seeds!

The strawberries were in great form this year though if I'm honest there freaking me out a little, back you mangy vegetation! back I say!

And I'm so freaking proud of my broom this year, last year I only got a couple up, this year I got 20 sets of three seeds to come up, we did have an unfortunate bird attack so I had to rapidly cut the seeds down before I lost them,

Here's a shot before they'd all seeded and rippend, and then got mauled by evil little birds lol

honestly I think my backyard itself is my basket this year, I'm so amazed at the work ma and I have done to it, I told you all in my bed hagging out earlier it was struggling in the heat this year?

Well as soon as the temps dropped a bit the everything started blooming, the butterfly hit, and we've got like forty different bee species, I saw a fucking praying Mantus going up our lattice, my dudes I've NEVER seen one of those in nature! Also ma saw a fucking humming bird at our butterfly bush! Never seen that around here! Also also a humming brid mouth took residence here for like three weeks, I'd seen one up in the mountains once a few years ago got it on camera and was like the fuck is this, and it was so cool to have one just hanging around chillin on all the flowers and really liking the sunflowers that crop up every year,

This backyard was such a ugly waste land when we got here,

We'd moved in October 2017, I worked my ass off that first year getting all that wood bits off the ground to keep my dogs from cutting up there paws on it, there was also plastic crap under it and the dirt I pulled up, and there were these metal things around the rocks I had to get up also a paw slicing hazard, and don't even get me started on the fire pit, I went to move it thinking it was a ring with spikes pushed into the ground oh no these dumb fuckers varied a regular fucking big fire pit into the ground, anyway here she is now:

Only sad thing is the line tree died on us, there was a bad winter followed by fires near by that bolted out the sun a had a film of soot over everything, it tired but this extremely hot summer did her in,

All in all though while I can't fit my whole yard into my hand basket I've got broom and pumpkin etc and hopefully more next year!

I also was able to get a Hekate statue I've been wanting since last year! I spent all month praying over her while passing her through smoke,

And finally, with how upset Mittens has been with the loss of her sister ma and I after discussing and prayers to my Gods decided to go look for a companion for her, I found a pretty 4 month old kitten in a shelter nearby, we've been having her be a little apart so they can get used to each other and we've kept kitten in the bathroom at night, funnily enough we had a basket in there full of stuff and I walked in couldn't find her at first only to see she'd stuffed herself in it around the stuff, we ended up giving her a different basket cause she kept smacking her stomach on the hard rim and they'd recently fixed her, so ouchy stitches!

I've named her Circe, she's the third cat I've had whose name I plucked from Greek mythology

Does she count? She is in a basket, lol, also took me a bit to show y'all her cause I needed to get her added in to my protection spells,

actually does any of this count I had a little trouble trying to fit this one with where I'm at right now, anyway thank you for the challenge Dirty and for hosting these! Love to you dear♡

☆ COMMENTS: ANDROMEDA ROGUE (rereading)

i'm about halfway through this reread! i sort of stopped near the middle of the month as i switched back to AR3 but rereading this draft right away was actually such a good decision. it's been nearly a year and a half since i finished it so i'm constantly finding little things i'd written and forgotten about. like finding 5$ in the pocket of an old jacket.

i've been pleasantly surprised at how... not bad it is lol. obviously it's a first draft, there are plenty of things that need patching up, but while i thought i was gonna have to carve out its guts in the second draft, turns out it only needs a bit of a facelift. maybe even just a new haircut. if anything, it's motivating me to keep going.

one of the most jarring but amusing things is being reminded of how all the characters have developed since the beginning of their story. ESPECIALLY the dynamics between Finn and Petra hehe. let's say they've come a long way from being begrudging, mistrustful teammates.

☆ COMMENTS: ANDROMEDA RISING (drafting)

this is probably the worst decision of my life but i'm gonna try to finish AR3 for nano and just. clenches teeth. get it over with. lord help

at least i've figured out .... something for the rest of my outline (climax + epilogues). deciding what the gang is up to after everything was really hard and i'm still not sure i'm satisfied with it. oh well it can always be changed later! (<- repeated to myself under my breath as i rock back and forth on the floor hugging my knees to my chest)

hopefully i can take advantage of the collective writer energy of nano to blitz through it before i start doubting myself and paralyze myself with fear! head down eyes closed full speed no regrets !!!! (please give me all the encouragement, i'm gonna need it😭)

it is literally impossible to post AR3 excerpts at this point bc even if i find something that's not spoilery, it would require 3 books of context to understand, so here's some AR1 i rediscovered in my reread.

this scene is SO funny to me for some reason. for context this is Petra and Finneas within about fifteen minutes of knowing each other.

Petra placed her hands on her hips, hoping it would make her look more authoritative. “All I’m asking is for you to not insult anyone at team meetings.” “Do I have to attend team meetings?” Finneas groaned. “I’d like for you to,” Petra replied, although she was pretty sure her scowl said otherwise. “You’re part of the team.” “I don’t do teams.” “You could at least try.” “Mm, hard pass. You may have your job, but I have mine,” he said finally. “And I’m just the pilot.” With that, he whirled around and started for the exit. Petra wasn’t sure what it was, but something prompted her to call after him. “Pilot.” He paused in the doorway without looking back. “I’m not expecting you to like me,” she began. “I’m not planning on it,” he replied curtly. Petra bristled, but chose not to engage. Now was not the time for a fight. “But as long as we’re on this ship together,” she went on, “I need you to try to respect me, and I’ll do my best to respect you. Alright?” Finneas remained silent for a moment, his back still turned to her, and Petra wondered what was going on in that hard head of his, behind those cold green eyes. like literally i could Not in good conscience let this extend my original answer post ohhhh my god 😅😅 but also i quite like the story and want it recorded for selfish purposes so if you are for Some Reason interested...... here she is

my mom really loves elvis (some of you might know this already). she's from alabama, and growing up her dad (who died p young) really liked him (though my gramma still insists "he always did a little too much of that... jigglin' for my taste"). she remembers her father let her stay home from school on august 17th, 1977, because she was so distraught after hearing about elvis the afternoon before. that day after was a wednesday and she was 10 years old. she says it was practically a public day of mourning in the south.

on the other hand my mom is also deeply catholic and experienced a great moral terror surrounding media consumption upon having me, her oldest, bc she was afraid that if my first word had been "margaritaville" she would have had to answer to god for the depravation of my immortal soul :/ and no that's not a joke she literally thought that about jimmy buffet. so we didn't, uh. have music in my house as a kid. my mom had one (1) bruce springsteen cd i wasn't allowed to listen to, and my dad had one (1) johnny cash cassette that i WAS. other than that the only music we had around was the soundtracks in movies and a lot of gregorian chant. and the one copy of the high school musical deluxe edition soundtrack that i got for christmas in 2006 and my sister and i literally wore the ribbon out of bc we were so starved for Tunes dfghs so i actually. had no idea my mom liked elvis she never listened to his music around me or brought him up.

aaaand then in.. 2009 or 2010 (i had to look up the release date of justin bieber's baby to verify this Holy Shit), i went away to sleepaway camp for the first time. it was an art, science, and technology camp at my dad's alma mater (and eventually mine❤) in my parent's hometown, a couple hours away. i stayed with my dad's parents instead of on campus, but it was still A Big Deal growing-up-wise. and my mom sent me a care package while i was there, with a postcard to read for every day of the week i was gone.

they were all pictures of elvis and i had No Idea Why.

i thought maybe she was just being, like. fun and kitschy.?? idk i was a weird kid who had a weird mom, it was easy to rationalize. and she didn't address it at all until the third postcard, when she said she had thought about finding stationary i would like to write these on but instead she decided to give me something precious to her, these elvis postcards she'd had lying around since she was a girl. because of how, you know, she loved elvis so much.

WELL, NO. NO MOM, I DID NOT "KNOW."

up until this point the only defining knowledge i had of elvis could be summarized by the epic rap battle of history vs michael jackson, which contains such lyrical marvels as "here's a tip - don't swallow a bucket of drugs so you won't die on the toilet dropping hunks of burning love," and "well, i may have died on the shitter but i don't give a crap, you ain't got half the badass battle raps that i have." yes i Did type those out from memory. i'm sure i'd heard elvis' music before (i had seen lilo and stitch at least once, after all) but if you had asked me to name even one of his songs at that time i don't think i could've done it. i simply hadn't conceptualized him beyond the vague image of a white jumpsuit and the words "thank ya, thank ya very much." but my mother expressing ANY sort of interest in a celebrity or pop culture at large was Absolutely Shocking, and i was determined to take advantage of this moment by seeing what the hype was all about.

so i went downstairs to my grandparent's basement pc and typed "elvis" into the google search bar. that was it. just "elvis." not "elvis presley," not "elvis songs," not "who the hell was elvis and does an interest in him make my mother lame or cool?" just "elvis." :)

and then he opened his mouth and heaven started pouring out.

and the first video that came up was the rapid city unchained melody performance. i watched the video, and i almost immediately had this absolutely overwhelming outpouring of love for this man on the screen. he slurred out "unchained melody. from an album called unchained melody. makes a lot of sense. ok" and i remember thinking that that "ok" had sounded so SMALL. he sounded like a lost little boy. and then that maternal instinct immediately fled my 12-year-old body and i scoffed like a tweenybopping little bitch and thought from how tiny he sounded he couldn't possibly have had a voice worth listening to.

i had never heard the song before (though i was immediately struck by its.. well, melody). i didn't know he was struggling with a drug habit, and i didn't know it had been filmed shortly before his death and would eventually come to be seen as the crowning final jewel in the midst of years of muddy decline. all i knew was that this man looked like he should've been in a hospital instead of on a stage, pouring sweat, minutes away from toppling backwards off the piano bench, and despite all of that... he was making the most devastatingly beautiful music i had ever heard. his voice was so strong, so clear, and i was once again baffled that a voice like that could be coming out of his visibly ailing body. i thought about how beautiful it was that he was giving so much of himself to perform this song when he looked like he didn't even have it in him to make it another couple of days. and i thought he was the most beautiful man i had ever seen in my life for doing it. it was like i had the word "beautiful" running on loop in my head. the only thought i had was "beautiful, beautiful, beautiful," over and over again until the song finished.

i didn't even realize i was crying until my gramma (who was just about deaf and had been two floors above me and on the other side of the house) came down to check on me. i remember her coming to stand at the foot of the basement steps and looking at me really carefully, asking if i was ok. and i had never heard her sound worried before ever so i took my headphones off and opened my mouth to ask her what she meant, and i realized i couldn't talk because i was so violently sobbing. apparently i had been shaking, hugging myself, and rocking back and forth for the duration of the video and was so insularly focused on elvis i hadn't even known it. dramatic ass bitch

eventually i calmed down enough to tell my gramma i didn't know who elvis was but i was having a breakdown about him anyway, and it felt really weird because a man i wasn't even invested in had just changed my life maybe bc that's about how big what i was feeling was. she just said "ok. do you want to feel that more or less?" so she sat there with me and i watched the video three or four more times and thought he was just angelic. not in the cheesy "did it hurt when you fell from heaven" way but like there was literally something of the divine about him. and i sat there at the computer desk and cried myself out and eventually about forty minutes later said "ok now i would like to feel less" so she told me on the news that morning had been a performance by a boy about my age and did i know who justin bieber was. this was probably a leading question because it was statistically likely i was wearing a my world 2.0 t-shirt at this time, but it gave me an opportunity to show a 70-year-old the baby music video and also to explain what a youtuber was and my emotional range normalized again.

and then that depth of emotion was so uncomfortably strong and i was so unequipped to deal with it as a kid that i shoved it down and learned hound dog and blue suede shoes and can't help falling in love and then totally disavowed myself of Anything elvis for a decade. or at least that's what i thought i was doing but also i loved dion and the belmonts on one end of the relevant temporal spectrum and frankie valli and the four seasons on the other and my favorite movie was bye bye birdie (the 1995 tv one with jason alexander tho not the '63 version sorry ammo) and i spent a Lot of time reading about buddy holly's life story so uh. MAYHAPS I WAS ALWAYS PRIMED FOR THIS.

and then baz luhrmann bashed me on the head with a sledgehammer and it hit my reset button and now here i am✨

If I had a nickel for every time they made a movie where the plot was "Elvis is in love with his brother's girlfriend, and eventually his brotherly love tops the homicidal sibling instinct but a lot of violence happens first, and also the brother is left traumatized because Elvis eats it at the end" .. I'd have two nickels. Which isn't a lot but it's weird that it happened twice

Day 2

Another success! I can't believe I've managed this two days in a row! (Twice in twenty-four hours, technically...) Maybe I can actually do this!

Today started off horrible at first since I woke up with a killer headache — apparently there's this thing called "exercise (exertion) headaches". Eventually (after food and water and medicine) the headache abated — thank god. Doing push-ups with a headache that bad make me feel like my head was gunna explode. The pressure just kept building and building...

Anyway, I did it — barely. I even did five extra victory push-ups in celebration. And then — because I'm apparently a masochist — I decided to try planking. Doing it for ten seconds seemed too easy, as did doing it on my elbows, so I decided to do a full plank for one full minute — I even timed it. Seemed easy at first, until around half a minute in or so and I suddenly found I couldn't stop vibrating... Now I finally understand what people are talking about when they call planking hard, lol.

Another weird thing: after my one-hundredth sit-up I flopped for a second before trying to get up again (I wanted to flop in a better location) but when I tried to sit back up it was like... a cramp? A muscle spasm? It felt like someone had grabbed the muscles of my gut and twisted. It was weird and unpleasant and painful and so I immediately flopped back down again. When I eventually tried to get up again my stomach muscles still felt weird and wiggly but at least they didn't do that painful twisting thing again.

Oh, and speaking of sit-ups: doing them on the futon helped a lot I think. My tailbone definitely feels better, at least... I even wrapped some soft pants around my feet so they wouldn't hurt either. Also, I still need to google WTH the difference is between normal sit-ups and military sit-ups because from what I saw earlier about military sit-ups, I... might have been doing military sit-ups? Hm.

That's all I have to say for today, I guess. Maybe I'll be adding a minute of planking to my new daily routine. Then again, one hundred seconds of planking would be much better aesthetically... Nice, big, even round number... We'll see. I'm not going to add it into the routine if I can't actually manage it, and considering how I struggled just to get to a full minute... Planking isn't like the other stuff where I can pause and take breaks in between, the whole point of it is to hold the position for an extended period of time. Maybe ten sets of ten...? Hmm... I'll have to deliberate on it.

Assuming I can't actually manage a full hundred seconds yet, I'm either going to have to go with one full minute or ten sets of ten seconds each. Or four sets of twenty-five? Getting to thirty wasn't that hard, and for all that it is aesthetically pleasing, ten seconds simply seems far too easy. Four sets of twenty-five to add up to a hundred... I like that; I might go with that. I've already done sixty seconds today... I think I'll do forty seconds more and then go to bed.

Oh, and you know what's funny? Here I've been thinking all about how this stupid routine is probably gunna make me get hungry more, and how annoying that's gunna be, and somehow it didn't even occur to me until a full twenty-four hours into this that, well... I might lose weight from this. And ironically, that's not even my intention.

I was just doing that thing where I imagine conversations I might be having later, and I was considering what I might say if my sudden interest in exercise comes up during my gastroentologist appointment tomorrow (today), and then the imaginary gastroentologist in my head went and asked me if I was doing this to try and lose weight — because that's what people will assume, isn't it? Some "girl" is putting all this interest into exercising suddenly? Well, obviously "she" is trying to lose weight...

Is that what my Mom thinks? I don't know how to feel about this. Is that why she suggested walking around the neighborhood? She just thought I was trying to lose weight? I suppose that makes sense, doesn't it? Hmm... I don't like it.

Whatever. I'm probably doing it wrong, but I successfully managed to plank for forty more seconds even whilst a stupid fruit fly was buzzing around me. Forty seconds was hard, but not that hard, so maybe instead of four sets of twenty-five, I'll do two sets of fifty. We'll see...

Oh, and I almost forgot: my body hurts, everything hurts, but it's a satisfying kind of hurt. Like, a "physical evidence of how hard I've worked" kind of hurt. It's a good hurt. I think, just a little, I'm beginning to understand athletes... Just a little.

EDIT: I just took some before photos so I have some comparison if this endeavor ends up actually being a success. Tomorrow I will weigh myself and maybe measure my arms and such. If I remember, that is...

Last thing: using my inhaler before doing exercise really seemed to help, especially in comparison to yesterday when I didn't think to use it until I was already struggling to catch my breath, and even then I only used it because I was afraid my sister would notice how loud I was breathing, lol.
