Lucifer is one who doesn't mind very much. He's used to the Anti-Lucifer-League mocking almost everything he says, so there's not surprises there. However one evening at the dinner table, he it comes along in passing.

"Wait, what are you talking about?"

"I heard you the other evening, you were speaking of what I had said to you, repeatedly. If I recall, it was, 'Don't dally with the dragons, MC'," he smiles at you, but there seems to be a little aggression behind it.

"Oh no, that's not mocking, Luci, it's called echolalia! It's a symptom of my autism." You go on to explain, and it seems like a small wave of relief washes over his eyes.

"Very well. I'm glad we got that misunderstanding cleared up."

The one who avoids you is Mammon, he's only now been caught up to by you, as you sit into the chair next to him at dinner. It's mostly quiet, until everyone has left, besides you him, and Leviathan and Beel, who are having this own conversation. You speak quietly, "have you been avoiding me, Mammon?"

"Why'd ya think that? Maybe it's you avoiding me!"

"Well, I haven't seen you almost at all in 4 days. Everytime I see you, you turn the other way. You feel the sting of fresh tears start to burn in your eyes, and Mammon can't help but feel a little guilty.

"Why'd ya even want to be around me, I heard you mocking me. You were sayin' 'mammoney' over and over."

"No, Mammon, that's not it at all!" You furrow your brow, and more tears start to come forward. This is not the first time you have been misunderstood by someone about your symptoms. You go on to explain, practically pleading with him to believe you.

"So it's just somethin' some humans do? Really? I think Levi does that sometimes," he chuckles, a small blush gracing his features.

The one who is most hurt by the misunderstanding is Leviathan. For sure. He heard you saying "Ruri-chan" over and over to yourself and assumed you were making fun of him. He hid away from you for days until you caught up to him, and asked if he'd been avoiding you. You missed your best friend dearly. "Of course I have! I heard you mocking me! I thought we were friends." His frown was evident, and you had to pry to find out what he was talking about. "Leviathan, what in the world are you talking about?"

"I heard you! You said," in his best mimicking voice he could muster, "Ruri-chan, over and over."

You were quick to stop him, trying your best to explain. He was still hurt, but he did feel a little silly.

"Oh, I guess that makes sense. I do that too sometimes, repeat things when they're f-fun to say, I mean," he seems to trail off, averting his gaze. His anger had not dissipated, and he felt silly for ever being mad.

He notices you acting a bit different when he first came into your room after patrol

“Amor, what’s wrong?”

If you decide to tell him he’ll just sit beside you and listen intently, not interrupting at any point

If you decide not to tell him, he’ll totally understand, he’ll just go up to you in your bed and sit down. He’ll take your hand gently in his and start rubbing patterns into your hand with his thumb.

He’ll kiss away any insecurity, doubt, or fear in your mind

“Mi vida, you are the best person I know. I love you more than you can even imagine, you mean the world to me. Regardless of how you feel about yourself imma remind you how much you mean to me every day, alright?”

He genuinely can’t see how you don’t see how amazing you are

He wishes he could just give you his eyes so you can see all of the wonderful things he sees about you

He would do anything for you. No matter how silly it may be. If you asked him to get you the moon he’ll try to get it for you

He isn’t the best with verbal comfort, so he tries to show you how much he loves you

While he’s holding you he kinda has this realization moment that he would do anything to keep you happy.

He already knew you meant a lot to him, but the way you cling to him and visibly relax into his touch has him planning out his future with you in his mind.

When he notices you stopped crying he’ll just wordlessly take his thumb and wipe the remaining tears off of your face

“Baby who put all these negative thoughts in your pretty head? I’ll beat they ass for you. You have no reason to feel insecure about that, I love it about you. I love everything about you. You betta not forget that.”

It don’t matter if you insecure about your height, weight, appearance, personality, anything-

jolted abruptly from their train of thought by the sudden and unexpected sound of sol's voice, they practically leap upright, whipping around to face him as their hand reaches for the knife in their pocket on instinct. fortunately, the sight of him is immediately enough to calm their nerves, leaving their hand to fall limp before it can reach the weapon, and byan flops back against the couch almost dramatically, trying to catch their breath.

ㅤㅤ" christ, babe, don't sneak up on me like that! "ㅤthey words hold no heat, only exasperation, and they rest their palm against their chest like that might bring their heartrate back down. only then, as they sit there and listen to another hiss emitting from beneath the couch, does his question finally catch up to them. it has them freezing up again as they're hit with the realization that the time to explain is already here and they haven't had so much as a chance to prepare what they want to say.

ㅤㅤ" —uhm. so, s'kind of a funny story. ...promise you won't be mad? "ㅤpressing their lips together and batting their eyelashes as they turn their gaze back up to their boyfriend, they're doing their very best to make use of the big sad bambi eyes that they know he has a hard time resisting.ㅤ" i miiiiight've... brought a cat home. but she was hurt, okay? i couldn't just leave her there— "

coming home after a long day of work, he was aiming for a calm night with the person he loved the most. wind down with tv, maybe order some dinner, do something that’d reduce the stress of the day. however, when he finally arrives to the apartment, enters the living room… from the way he finds them knelt in front of the couch, appearing to be trying to lure something out, he soon realizes that tonight’s going to be far from normal.

does he hear hissing?

after a few moments of watching them, waiting to see if they realize he’s standing behind them, he finally decides to speak up, still trying to process what he’d walked in on. “ what’s… under the couch? i hear hissing. ” / @byanyan liked this for a starter !!

Ok, might as well throw my two cents on this poem (what hasn’t been said already)

Gnash your teeth, O Dragon Fierce!/Night's not far away/In the sky that watchful eye/Does weep and stare and pierce

Night being “not far away” is in of itself extremely foreboding and we’ve got a lot of other concerning uses of night, like “stars all swallowed up” by the corrupted sun forge in After Darkness, in the Bookery how the banthers only came out at night, 6x03 being called Moonless Night, etc.

“While one may say it ends with a sunrise, another will insist it ends at nightfall. ” (swallowed sun) (falling stars) / Karim's "the rising sun is now a falling star” from here

This stanza to me read as about Sol Regem.

We also have the “watchful eye” in the sky which reminds me of how Sol’s eyes are potentially being healed?

Tho- I also like the possibility that the eye is the weeping moon and it connects strongly with the poster that we’ve just received (ON THE SAME DAY.) and The hopeless dragon could also be Luna, and it reflects her power being siphoned and her death.

Currently thinking about how the poem could refer to both the past and present simultaneously, especially if it’s from the perspective from Aaravos who loves writing multiple layers into what he says (at least, looking at the reflections)

Anyway.

There’s a lot of grief and hopeless tone throughout the entire poem and it is not looking good at this point in the season considering 6x03 poem at least started out hopeful then veered towards doomed, 6x07 poem started out doomed. Love that for this season. Love that

BUT it does veer towards hopeful territory right at the end. Similar to a line from one of Aaravos’s reflections: “The long, dark night had finally passed—for the sun must always rise, mustn’t it?.”

Eight in a line, O Chosen Mine!/Ready for a war/Endlessly burning—/Hopelessly yearning—!/That love will triumph once more!

I saw speculation that 8 could be the number of key characters could be chess or the number of sources who knows, it could definitely makes a strong point for the pawn motif/aaravos pov, but who knows. I’m not gonna worry about that .

Endlessly burning is something I associate strongly with Aaravos—and we see him burning up things, like candles, how he killed Khessa, and the matching burn in the map at the start of the show that divides Xadia and the human kingdoms.

Simultaneously endless burning is also associated with the sun, and the Sunfire plotline as it is with the passions of humanity and how they burn themselves out like they’re their own candles of dark magic.

Hopelessly yearning is also interesting—because we once again see (narrative of) war and love contrasted and if this is from Aaravos’s perspective, he’s low key once again taunting.

Y’know how people say hopeless romantic-> it’s like there’s no hope for you, you’re done for. It reminds me of how he teases Ezran—he sees it as naivety, and it once again ties into a hopeless tone, but in a different sense, as hopeless romantic and hopelessly yearning have a better connotation than hopelessness overall.

Final note is if it’s red wedding. (First letters of each stanza backwards) RED? and either sol+karim and/or aaravos crashes the wedding I’ll be happy for the rest of the year thank you (for angsts sake)

Regardless of my hopes or speculation, though it definitely seems that this is going to be the episode where all the tensions come to fruition, and the SUNFIRE Civil War begins or comes to a climax if anything. Which Also makes me think the rest of the episodes leading up to this focus more heavily on the other characters and plot lines.👀

On a sidenote, I think it’s really funny that Devon signed her name is Devonius Ghiel and it’s the first thing that stuck out to me here

i dont love making AUs, but the logistics of my fankid OCs existing have forced me to at least vaguely think about one. part of the reason i made this alternate outfit for blaze

was because i think she'd rework the sol empire's system to no longer be a monarchy, and instead share the responsibility of ruling. She still helps out but is far less burdened, and she doesn't have to worry about passing on her royal burdens to her kids.

as for the two eggmen, maybe sonic and blaze kill one of them to know peace lmao idc. sonic would be cocky enough to keep fighting one and always winning tho so maybe original eggman can stay.

basically the AU's purpose is so they can get married and raise a chill family and it would be relatively plausible yknow 👍👍 they'd also have to be able to dimension hop freely, no drama.

Sure, time travel can lead to things getting confusing, particularly with generations retconning classic sonic into a baby sonic.

But the shift from classic to adventure was just an art direction change, not a retcon. Sonic's age and personality didn't change, only his appearance. It was an attempt to remove him from looking too cute like Hello Kitty into something more visually appropriate to aim at teens (which was always the intended audience) yet it still embodied much of the classic's tone and original direction.

But that doesn't suddenly negate the entire basic premise of the lore in this series. The original trilogy had a PLETHORA of lore accompanying it in the game manuals of the time. These manuals were necessary because game limitations back then only allow so much space to fully explain a backstory when it was more important to just dive straight into the game. It frustrates me tho because even without the manuals, you can play the games and see a clear, consistent story being told through them all. It's why this series blew my mind as a child because unlike games like Mario and such, the rich visuals, story and unique personality in Sonic was a stark contrast to what was the norm of the time!

The shift to the Adventure style didn't retcon or upset this at all. It was a natural progression and even up until 06, that storyline stayed consistent throughout. Just because a game maybe was more aimed for babies like Heroes versus a serious story like Shadow the Hedgehog, doesn't mean they're somehow "different continuities". And same for quality. A game being poorer quality then the one preceding it doesn't suddenly make it non-canon!

This is the same issue ppl have towards 06. They hate that game and act like it never happened and use the ending as an excuse except subsequent games afterwards CONSISTENTLY refer back to it. It was never forgotten and the Japanese audiences never once considered it not part of the proper timeline.

The games lore was never always a "mess." It had consistency. It had continuity. It would pick up from where a last game started off. Things Matter! There are a couple of awkward spots like "How in the world did Blaze actually end up in Sonic's dimension but got warped into a princess of the Sol Dimension?" but again, goofs in time travel/dimensional rifts like that don't mean the entire story of the series is suddenly disrupted or dismissed.

The argument that the movies or really, any western adaptation, had "no canon to work off of" is just a big lie. A lie that is so annoyingly passed around as an excuse for any western adaptations that failed to care to build off any of the lore established in the series from the beginning. You literally could even just play the games and figure things out from there!

People claim it's some kind of mess but as a kid who grew up alongside these games and played them, I never got a sense of that. Things made sense to me and it's part of why I love it so much!

Why do people insist that the original Sonic Team's incredible hard work and passionate dedication to this series mean absolutely NOTHING to them to feel inclined to claim there was no story or intentional progression? Why do we dismiss the creative brilliance of this team that made this franchise in the first place? I just don't get why some western fans do this but it seems to only come up when they want to prop up their preferred western version of Sonic, which just....

the cosmic turnabout is underrated af and always overshadowed by turnabout for tomorrow so i'm going to make a list of things that are awesome about it because it's my secret favourite case

it takes place in a SPACE CENTRE with ROCKETS. there are literally ASTRONAUTS. if you're a space enjoyer then this case has the greatest vibe and aesthetic and is made for you. the cutscene at the beginning is so space movie.

just the fact that the guy called apollo is best friends with an astronaut. i bet the localisation team were high fiving each other at how well that worked out

the bit when the judge asks what the bomb transport case is and simon's like "YOUR COFFIN >:D" lmao?????

and you already know from the first case that there's a dead body in there which makes it more cursed which makes it eVEN FUNNIER

actually the fact that this case is quite literally-speaking blown apart by a bomb and the two pieces fall either side of turnabout countdown... it's pretty creative, i know it's weird but i like it

speaking of which, CLAY TERRAN IS SO FUCKING COOL I CAN'T EVEN BEGIN TO EXPLAIN????? everyone who knew him is always talking about how he was so cool and he loved life and living and apollo and he was always trying to cheer everyone up and make people feel better like an infectious ray of sunshine. he's named after the planet he never got to leave. he's like a mix of apollo and athena's personalities but as a hot astronaut. like if kazuma "i love my BFF" asogi wasn't an edgy emo badboy and was a cheerleader sunshine boy instead. dude is the actual goat and probably my fav victim in the entire series

like they had to kill him off to nerf him bc he would be too powerful otherwise, he's that perfect. he had the secondmost badass death (the most badass was... someone from turnabout revolution. if you know, you know) listen he took part in this cool badass switcharoo with the rockets to save him and sol from a bomb, then he carried a passed-out sol EVEN THOUGH THEY WERE BOTH IN THEIR HEAVY SPACESUITS, AND THEN DEFENDED THE HOPE CAPSULE FROM A SUPERSPY DESPITE BEING EXHAUSTED AND GETTING STABBED AND DYING AND HE SUCCEEDED EVEN THOUGH HE DIED

the original japanese title for this case is "the turnabout that became a star" in case you wanted to cry harder

his friendship with apollo makes me sob like a baby. apollo can barely deal with the grief and he even has the first of his breakdowns we ever see, and now i'm thinking about the backstory of how they met and all the optional dialogue you can get about the two of them and i could talk about how they're also a parallel to aura and metis (and how athena and sol have parallels regarding ptsd in their career fields) but you're not ready for it and it's another essay entirely

it's even mentioned how apollo and clay were competitive over who could achieve their dream first, and when apollo became a lawyer and showed his badge to clay, clay was so fricking happy about it as if he'd achieved his dream too, and supported apollo through the plot of the previous game behind the scenes and just... okay competitive-supportive friendship WHY DOES THAT ALSO REMIND ME OF APOLLO AND ATHENA? man she would be the perfect person to help apollo cope with the loss of clay... if he didn't, you know, suspect her of killing him

actually apollo losing faith in athena is so heavily foreshadowed in the previous case it makes me insane. also in TWO of the previous cases he brings up clay, in fact in turnabout academy he does it so much that athena pesters him about wanting to meet the guy herself so don't give me any of that "clay was never referenced before the case where he suddenly shows up dead" nonsense YES HE WAS and anyway we KNOW apollo hardly ever talks about his personal life at work, it literally becomes a plot point in the following game, so the fact that he rarely mentions clay makes it MORE personal to him imo okay rant over

actually in turnabout academy we find out apollo and clay have a psychic connection (i'm not kidding about this, this is canon) which means apollo probably sensed the exact moment clay got stabbed, i'm gonna die wtf

apollo having the bandage on his eye before the bombing is. chef's kiss. it's so mysterious and then we find out he did it to restrict his own powers so that he would stop doubting athena. i'm not crying i'm fine. and then he looks so badass later with the coat on and he even looks kinda like dhurke. i SAID i'm not crying shut up

apollo!!! leaving the office!!!!! i'm like 90% convinced he still lowkey hates phoenix tbh (this is more relevant in the next case but it does feel apparent here too) like remember in the previous game when he punched him lol?? i wonder if he wishes he could do that again

i've played this case a million times yet i always forget about the bomb going off in the middle of the trial, it's practically a jumpscare. i love it

also apollo and simon both taking the case so deathly seriously while everyone else is just like "haha funny buzz lightyear case" is also chef's kiss. that bit at the end when athena gets accused and suddenly everyone else starts taking it seriously too. it's one of the very rare cases where the canon ending is BAD auuugh i'm not sane enough for this

the plan with the launch pads switching around is wack and i'm actually obsessed with it. i'm picturing clay dragging drugged-up sol through the museum and sol's like "huh the rocket looks weeeeird.. .?" and clay's like "uhhhh nnnope haha, no it doesn't, it looks completely normal and fine, ignore all those exhibits on the walls-" jshfkskfsk

and athena was literally passed out in there in a random corner?? well we don't really find that out until the next case but still??? she was RIGHT THERE???

(i'm sorry i can't shut up about clay) it turns out clay also did the "i'm fine!!" early morning chords of steel exercises, so i imagine him and apollo waking up early every morning to voice call each other and do their i'm fine thing together. apollo cheering encouragement at clay while he's doing his astronaut training just like they used to with solomon. just stab me with a fork made of lava it would hurt less

also when apollo was in the hospital he adjusted his chords of steel workouts to be like "THANK U DOCTOR FOR TAKING CARE OF ME" that's so wholesome??? doesn't stop him ripping off all the bandages in the next case and probably bleeding out in court but whatever, i cannot expect him to be normal in these circumstances

you know how in the previous game, no one ever respects him and he's kinda a loser? well here he gets to do something undeniably BADASS, just like his badass astronaut bestie. he saves junie's life during the bombing. idk if it was a "i just lost my best friend, i'm not letting athena lose hers too" or just being a brave person who wants to protecc his friend or what but i'm just glad he finally gets to be cool in a way that no one can deny. and then the next game takes it to the next level with how badass he gets HOOOOOOO BOY

the bit where apollo is talking to clay about how he doesn't have a mum is supposed to be sad and it definitely is, but if you've played the previous game then it is also hysterical. yeah apollo it's not like you went to her concert or use one of her songs as your literal phone ringtone or anything lmaooooooo

this is by no means an exhaustive list and i've barely scratched the surface of how good this case is but trust me it's SO GOOD. it's understandable that it gets overshadowed considering it's basically the same case as turnabout for tomorrow which is the finale, but it holds up on its own too and i love it dearly. the only case that makes me more emo is frickin turnabout revolution, aka the most bonkers emotional case of all time, so that's saying something.

I kinda just want to blather at somebody about my ffvii fic ideas? feel free to ignore!

Been stuck trying to write a fic for cloud x tifa x aerith x jessie (the cut scenes with her got me) basically she survives, she and the other two keep flirting with cloud and in the golden saucer they all four get on the gondola ride and Jessie finally just is like tired of beating around the bush and just asks flat out if cloud will be with them. (Aerith and Tifa hadn't known this was on the table but once it's said...it makes sense...(they all three "win" plus get to kiss each other)

I firgure my cloud is likely a virgin but he's only just started to realize that. I figure isolated during his trooper days and he only made it to sixteen when the hormones would've really hit and he might have (espeacially with a handsome SOLDIER) but Nibelheim mission and being a science experiment for four/five years + mako coma means...he's not exactly had the chance.

Then at first he's sort of Cloud with a bit of Zack + sixteen year of Cloud's likely image of a tough SOLDIER guy. Plus he's recovering from his coma so I headcanon it's not 'til like Madame M's erm... "hand massage" that he actually remembers his libido exists and it's not until Costa del Sol that it actually kicks on properly like rusty gears.

Tifa is still young enough that I feel she hasn't had much is any experience plus a chaser of small town "good girls don't do that" and Aerith and Zack might have wanted to but there were always turks around which means they did not.

Jessie realizies she is the only not-a-virgin in the group she is about to have group sex with and wonders how this is her life.

(I'm terrible at dialogue so it's not gone very far but the idea is hilarious to me.)

Also his libido not kicking in again until Madam M is basically canon to me. Up until then it's just stress and balls to the wall then Madam M gets her pretty little fingers in him (maybe literally???) and he's like...oh.

Jessie unironically being the most experienced of them kind of cracks me up though. Her and Cloud's dynamic gradually switching over to romantic would be too cute. She's a pretty shameless flirter and Cloud's usually like "Wtf are you doing" but having her come on to him after Madam M? Him getting a little attracted? Then being attracted to Tifa and Aerith at the same time and maybe getting Guilty about it. At least until Jessie is like "Yknow what can we puff puff pass this man and get on with our lives?" and then he's just kinda going with the flow while they plot what's probably going to be the death of his little grinch heart

I love this idea! And as someone VERY annoyed with dialogue right now, oh my GOD I understand XD If you get the time tho, keep me posted with how this idea goes! Seriously, color me intruiged lol

Nevertheless, Ep 3: Woman Takes Brief Break from being an ethical non monogamist to enjoy a tv show

Sol continues to be the hottest one in the show, and she is so wasted on Ji wan, 

Ok so next episode, Jae-Eon picks up some girl at an airport. And NaBi is angsting bc she doesn’t hear from him all day. “Does he not like me or is he teasing me?”

So. Him just…you know…having shit to do. Isn’t an option?

Ok. noted. =.=

NaBi wanders off to get food, and runs into her boy working on his project. He doesn’t see her, he answers his phone, she follows him creepily and sees the other girl.. Cue angst. “She’s the one his heart belongs to.”

Because it can only be one. 

Now it’s JaeEon’s turn to see her leaving a convenience store and giving her number to another dude, another student. 

He’s sort of watching from a distance with the other girl. He neutrally mentions he knows them, and girl gets jealous. Turns out they had matching engraved zippos, but she lost hers.  Very much giving gf vibes. He talks about Na Bi and she’s all “you’re into her, it’s fate” and he's’ all “you’re my fate”

Convenience Store Guy acts more like she would expect from a dude pursuing her, and she seems comfortable, and considers him.

And he’s an absolute Cinnamon Roll, I love him. He brings her snacks and is just…nice.

Ope, now my boy’s being dumb. Walks in on Ol girl talking to Cinnamon Roll and gets jealous, and tries to like. Put lil man in his place, and gets put in his instead. She’s got a spine!

Sort of. She kind of…half ass calls him out on being a jealous dick. He doesn’t really admit to it.

Like,  she hasn’t heard from him for a couple days, and now he jumps in being possessive and trying to draw attention to him. That’s douchey and fucked up.

So she goes on a date with cinnamon roll and it’s adorable. Very sweet, direct, little chatterbox of a man

And now I’m mad again.

Nabi goes to a school festival to see Cinnamon Roll, and there’s another girl there. Apparently his HS Crush who rejected him reached out. So NaBi gets awkwardly rejected, Jae Eon sees the whole thing. Home girl goes home, and she’s laying in bed, appears to be coming down with a cold…and FuckBoy Jae Eon totally calls her like “hey can I come over?”  No apology, no acknowledgement he acted like a possessive asshole, just “i’m by your house, wanna hang out?”

I apparently completely missed this bit before. Ope.  This is also where he finds out she had deleted his number from her phone. This is important later.

 Her phone dies, so she goes to the convenience store to get medicine, when she gets home, there’s an ambulance at her house.

FuckBoy called a got damn ambulance cus he thought she’d passed out or something. Remember what I said before about losing their tiny minds over a papercut? Yeah.

In a cute way now tho.

So she sends him packing..and this mf comes back with a care package of meds and snacks for her, and I have feelings about this.

I’m super annoyed they didn’t address him being a possessive douche. Like, it’s one thing to make his interest known, and to be nonmono, but it’s absolutely not ok to act like dog at a fire hydrant when she’s around other dudes. 

So. Perfect was def too strong of a word.

…so she’s like “i don’t like this bag of stuff take it back” and he’s all like “i’m hungry” and she tells him to eat the food while hanging out together.

And this turns into him spending the night holding her hand, hunched over next to the bed, like a hospital scene, so he can earn her trust back.

He addresses his jealousy-doesn’t outright say he was a douche, but does admit to being jealous. She assumes that he liked seeing her get rejected. Which is reasonable, I think, because of how he called her basically immediately after, acting like they’d never argued. 

But that’s not what happened. He admitted to being jealous, and that it bothered him to find out that she’d deleted him from the phone. 

And this is why the fuckboy allegations are so confusing to me. Because he’s not treating her like a hook up, or a casual relationship. He’s treating her like a partner. Literally the only thing that is different between how he pursues her, and how any other dude would, is that there’s no assumption of monogamy. I would argue that the way he goes about it is questionable, but that’s mostly because the culture of enm in the US is of transparency and enthusiastic consent.

…and he is very much working to sell her on nonmonogamy. Thaaats why it makes my brain itch.

Jae Eon is solo nonmonogamous. He has partners, but non exclusively, he does not have a nesting partner, nor seem to want one, and he isn’t invested in the relationship escalator. He also does not have the language or a supportive enm community around him. So, he performs enm, and persuades people thru open practice, rather than naming it.

So, in episode two, there was an interaction that I ignored, because I found it uninteresting and maybe a little fatphobic. When they were all hanging out at the bar, there was a dude-one of the only fat people i’ve ever seen in a kdrama- who was doing the “ambiguously creepy” guy thing. If he was an american, he’d prob be wearing a fedora. Like he specifically asks NaBi to sit next to him, and when she does he gets all fixated on the fact that she’s single now, and asks her why she hasn’t taken her jacket off and…a few other just. Weird fucking things. At one point, NaBi, Jae Eon and Bit Na are outside having a smoke, and Fedora Dude comes out is being really obnoxious and pushy about finding out what Nabi and jae eon’s relationship is, and Jae Eon tells him “nah, we’re just friends.” Nabi walks away and Fauxdora starts the “she’s not pretty enough to be this stuck up” and Jae Eon puts him in his place and everyone gets on with their life.  

NaBi was bothered by Jae Eon not “claiming her” ig. For me tho, the way to handle Fedora Dudes is to straight tell them to get to fuck, it’s none of their business. And that seems like what Jae Eon did. In my mind, he was showing her the same respect he would any of his other friends/partners, in not “staking a claim” so to speak, and also shutting down the ass hat. 

So when he engaged in jealous twattery around Cinnamon Roll, it was extra surprising. Ofc, the reason is that Cinnamon Rolls was a threat, and Fedoradouche was not. Jae eon was shielding her from Fedoradouche, and competing with Cinnamon Roll. Valid. 

So on the one hand, the narrative is showing that NaBi is “special” (gags) by him being possessive of her in ways he isn’t possessive of others. He’s also…gently aggressive with her, after she finally consents to kissing him. He just…keeps pursuing. It’s a behavior that irritates tf out of me, ignoring soft nos, and pushing for a hard no. Then when he gets a hard no, in the form of her deleting his number, and sending him packing after the ambulance leaves, he still keeps pursuing her. 

So he essentially tells her that he’s going to keep being nice to her until he earns her trust and gives him a chance. Which…irl would stalkery and annoying af. But because we’re inside her head, and we know she’s completely obsessed with him, and also because of my own biases against monogamy, and my general annoyance that enm is not even discussed as an option, it gets a pass, both narratively, and in my head. 

And then they bang, because that’s exactly what they both need when she has a cold. Fuckin tv, man
