i just remembered that i can in fact post Old Art so here is an album cover project from last semester

Details below!

This was the second project of my Illustration Intensive I class last semester, and we had to either design or redesign an album cover, so I chose The Mechanisms

During the project I took a 4-hour detour trying to translate the Red Signal chant into norse runes, aka I threw it through a translator and tried (emphasis on tried) via wikipedia to fix any Weirdness despite knowing next to nothing about runes so its probably. Incredibly wrong lol

week 4 of the @tmntfashioncompetition , the theme being “sail the 7 galaxies”

i got kinda carried away on this one, i’m gonna be honest. originally i wanted to make planet themed outfits for mikey and raph, with raph being the earth and mikey the sun, but i really wanted to convey the sailing part of the theme as well! i don’t think it comes across quite well in the art, but mikey is meant to literally be the sun ‘sailing’ the cosmos! i had a lot of fun just experimenting with colors and shorthand with this theme, and i hope you all enjoy it too <3

Writing probably the funnest (and also probably longest) chapter ever in hero who will never be seen again and there's so many silly little scenes but one of them is an unnecessarily long one where the gang go to the optometrist so Bud could pick up some new glasses (they broke. thanks hannah) and here's Bud talking with Glenn as a little treat ig
